Starting point is 00:00:00 J.D. Vance just got booed during a speech in Michigan where he's trying to play cleanup for multiple reasons. One, the Trump administration is completely underwater for multiple reasons. The Iran war. Gas prices. Prices in general. The fact that the president is, I don't know, potentially a petto. And Jaddy Vance is also defending himself from this moment here when he wouldn't really back up the president when asked about the war in Iran. First, Mr. Vice President, Democrats are already calling you the fraud czar. What's your reaction to that title? And then second, given your past skepticism of foreign adventurism. And I know, maybe I'm beating a dead horse here, but this man seems not well.
Starting point is 00:00:51 I've got a senior dog, and there's just a moment where things kind of flip. And you're like, oh, okay. Let's enjoy our time together because I don't know how much longer it's going to last. This man, look at him. Look at him. He just doesn't look well. I don't wish. Is this true?
Starting point is 00:01:12 I think this is true. I don't wish ill on the president. I don't. I don't want the president to die. But we do need a leader who is mentally sophisticated and healthy. I don't know if we got that. Are you completely on board with the current war on? So I like frauds are. It's certainly what we're going to do. And look, we have to do it as the president said, this is a problem that is festered in this country for far too long and far too few people have actually wanted to do anything about it. That's what makes this administration different is that we actually tackle the problems. The American people have been confronting. So I'm very happy about it. And look, I think that I know what you're trying to do, Phil. You're trying to drive a wedge between members of the administration between me and the president. What the president said consistently, going back to 20,
Starting point is 00:02:00 2015 and I agree. Now, what he's saying here is when you're trying to drive a wedge between me and the president and then he's saying that there is no wedge, what he, there's, I mean, what he's alluding to is that what Mack is upset about isn't an issue, that they actually don't care about the war and Iran. I agree with them is that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon. We have taken this military action under the president's leadership. I think all of us, whether you're a Democrat or Republican, should pray for success and pray
Starting point is 00:02:27 for the safety of our troops. That's the approach that I've taken. Make it as successful as possible. So there's no hesitation given your past statements with the current operation? What do you mean there's no hesitation with my past statements? Given your skepticism of war adventurous, you were a critic of the global war on terror previously. Well, I think one big difference, Phil, is that we have a smart president, whereas in the past we've had dumb presidents. And I trust President Trump to get the job done, to do a good job for the American people, and to make sure that the mistakes of the past aren't repeated, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:02:59 If J.D. Vance was a smart individual, and if he really did want to become president, he would 100% distance himself from this just really bad move from the Trump administration, where they are going against the base and saying that, you know, they're going to do forever wars in the Middle East, something that Donald Trump famously ran against in 2016. I said this yesterday in the damage report, and I stand by it. If J.D. Vance actually wanted to be president, he would resign over this, and he'd become a frontrunner in the primary.
Starting point is 00:03:38 But Jaddy Vance can't do that. He's incapable. So he's just going to be a lap dog for the rest of his life. And he's really bad at this stuff. I mean, I'm sorry to tell you this, but Jad Vance referenced himself sleeping with Ushah. Whoa. Usha is now 22 weeks pregnant with baby number of
Starting point is 00:03:58 before, so we're very excited about that. And I remember when we decided to run for vice president, I said, honey, I really want to have a fourth kid. And she said, well, you can become vice president or you can have a fourth baby. But ladies and gentlemen, I am persuasive, because I got both. I don't need to know that.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Too much information. J.D. Vance also just said this about gas prices. You let me know of this, as J.D. Vance calls it persuasive. Here in Detroit, thank you for taking questions. We're seeing gas prices here climbing at home. in particular here in Metro Detroit with what's going on with Iran and the impacts in the street of her moves. What is the administration doing to help keep gas prices down and where do you see gas prices going here in the near future? Well, you know, the president of the United States has
Starting point is 00:04:46 been crystal clear about this. Look, gas prices are up and we know they're up and we know that people are hurting because of it. And we're doing everything that we can to ensure that they say. That is something Donald Trump has never said that I know people are hurting because of this. He's incapable of saying that. Glad someone's saying it. I don't think it matters that it's the vice president, though. Stay lower. I will say, you know, the president said this, and I certainly agree with it.
Starting point is 00:05:10 This is a temporary blip. Okay. What happened under the Biden administration is that gas prices were high for four years. Gas prices are higher right now. And frankly, they're not even as high as they were during certain parts of the Biden administration because of what's going on in the Middle East. It's not going to last forever. We're going to take care of business.
Starting point is 00:05:28 We're going to come back home. And when that happens, you're going to see energy. prices come back. I'm interested to see if what he says is true, if it's not going to last forever. I kind of feel like we're stuck in Iran for a long time. I don't think it's in and out. I think we're stuck. I actually think there's going to be troops in the ground. I don't know what's going to happen to gas prices, but I can't imagine that this is just going to be see you later. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't envision it. Now, J.D. Vance was also, as I said, booed when he took the stage.
Starting point is 00:06:11 And you all know as an Ohio State alum how hard that is for me to say. Just negative charisma. I mean, it could have been a funny moment, but no, no, this man does not have the juice. I look forward to him running for president. It'll be fun to watch. It is going to be, is going to be fun to make fun of. He is not going to be president. I am really bad at predicting elections. Don't ever ask me what's going to happen. Don't. But with this one candidate, I am so certain.
Starting point is 00:06:50 J.D. Vance will never be president. We should make t-shirts. J.D. Vance will never be president. All right. He also said this about nationalizing elections. I cannot believe we're talking about this seriously. There's a lot of concern and talk in Michigan right now ahead of this pivotal midterm election that the federal government might somehow intervene in the administration of the election here in this state.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Do you have any promises that you would make that the federal government will not intervene in any way in this election? Or what would you tell people in Michigan who are concerned about that? Well, what do you mean by the federal government intervening in the election? That's the first I've ever heard of it, but maybe I don't understand the question. I believe the president has talked about nationalizing elections in recent months himself. There's a lot of concern. Okay, so he doesn't know what he's talking about. We do know what he's talking about.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Let me go full screen for this because this is the thing that I'm most worried about. Now, I kind of feel like we've all memory hold this. But in the 2024 election, on election day, there were multiple bombings. threats in swing states and Democratic majority districts. I call that shenanigans. Now, we never, I don't, you can tell me if we did, I don't think we did. But was there ever an investigation as to like, what the fuck was that ever? Did anyone ever look into like, what, what, hey, why were there bomb threats called into majority Democratic districts? And who caused us? it? Any sort of charges? Anything? No. No, no, no, no. And makes me wonder, like, oh, okay,
Starting point is 00:08:40 if they didn't even look into it, who did it? Was it the Trump administration? Was it Trump? People who are allied with Trump in America? Perhaps countries in other countries who wanted to see Trump win? We don't know. But it makes me feel like there's for sure going to be shenanigans in the midterms. So sure, maybe we don't, they don't pass the Save Act, but I do not put it past them to do something to make it. So it's harder for them to lose and harder for Democrats to win. I think that's actually like, it's not a conspiratorial. They've literally tried overturning elections. There were bomb threats on election day in 2024.
Starting point is 00:09:41 So yeah, I think we're asking the wrong questions here. It's more like, are we going to make sure that our elections are free and fair? Are we going to make sure that the government gets out of the way, people having free and fair elections? Are we going to make sure that our government protects us? from outside influence. It would be nice. Don't know what's going to happen. I do know one thing's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:10:06 That man is never going to be present. God bless.
