Hey, how you doing? This administration is crumbling before our eyes. Pete Hegseth had a temper tantrum
during a press conference. Caroline Levitt can't answer simple questions, and the American people are fed
up in a new poll showing that they want impeachment, and so do I. Before we get to all that,
I just want to let you know that I was on a podcast called Very Delta. If you were ever wondering
what it would be like if I had a conversation with the drag queen, well, your questions have been
answered and you can watch it below. All right, let's get to this real quick.
We, oh yeah.
During the press conference, just to show how in control the Trump administration is,
Caroline Levin was interrupted with this breaking news.
As Iran claims Israel is violating the agreement by bombing Hezbollah in Lebanon.
And as you mentioned a moment ago, breaking right now, Iranian state media says Iran is closing the straight of Hormuz again in response.
So I just want to point out that the sea spire lasted.
all of 12 hours. Who knows who shot what. But Donald Trump thought he had a clean out. He doesn't.
He's created this mess on his own. I've been told the reason why we're in this mess is because
Netanyahu convinced Donald Trump that this is something that we needed to do and now we're
stuck in it. And as it's showing, we are in a worse position than we were before. Donald Trump
has gotten nothing from this war and it's just made life for us worse. We're anxious. We're
about nuclear war because Donald Trump is a crazy person and things have begun to cost more.
What have we won from this?
Absolutely nothing.
Now, what you're going to hear from the administration is a bunch of lies.
Here is Caroline Levitt not answering when asked about the breaking news about the Strait of Hormuz closing.
Carolina, the Iranian state media is saying that Iran is now closed off the Strait of Hormuz today.
Her response to his really attacks on Lebanon.
What's the right White House response to the state?
that and just listed many military successes. I understand that, but strategically, how is the
administration arguing that Iran does not have more economic leverage than now than it did before
the Star report? Sure. Well, with respect to the first reporting out of Iranian state media,
the president was made aware of those reports before I came to the podium. That is completely
unacceptable. And again, this is a case of what they're saying publicly is different privately.
We have seen an uptick of traffic in the straight today.
And I will reiterate the president's expectation and demand
that the straight of her moose is reopened immediately, quickly, and safely.
That is his expectation.
It has been relayed to him privately that that is what's taking place
and these reports publicly are false.
Okay. All right.
It's just like, I don't really know if we can trust her, Ron,
but I don't trust this bitch.
You trust her?
This is a lying woman.
This woman lies.
all she does is lie to us all of the time.
Donald Trump is one of the biggest liars in American history,
so we can't trust anyone.
So I am under the assumption that if they're saying Iran isn't telling the truth,
then they're probably lying.
They're probably lying.
On the other side of the administration, you had being ex-Seth, having a temper tantrum
with a reporter.
Thank you, Secretary.
Sorry. Thank you.
Excuse me. Why are you so rude? Just wait. I'm calling on people.
Thank you, Secretary.
Yesterday in the president's truth social, he threatened to wipe out a civilization.
Oh, the pressure's getting to them. The pressure's getting to them.
I like watching that. I like watching that. It's awful, but that's how he is acting.
But it's good to know. They're so overwhelmed by everything happening. They're so out of their depth.
that they can't even pretend like they have it under control when talking to reporters.
Thank you, sir, attorney.
Sorry.
Thank you.
Excuse me.
Why are you so rude?
Just wait.
It's like when you're doing that, it's not great.
Like, you know when you see someone belittling a customer service person at McDonald's,
you're not thinking, oh, that person at McDonald's fucked up.
You're thinking, what's going on in that person's life?
They can't be nice to a customer server.
Same thing here.
Like, it's a reporter.
You can't just be calm.
You can't be professional? No, he can't because he's in over his head.
Now, we also had here this really stunning moment where Pete Hackseth tried to answer a question
and then the Department of Defense official did not listen to him and kept answering.
You said earlier that the president chose mercy, but you yourself had said three weeks ago
that we will give no quarter to Iranian troops.
How do you correlate those two?
And do you think that your comments may have put American shoes at risk?
No.
I try to be nice up here, but you did listen to what I said, right?
I laid out the objectives.
We believe we've accomplished them, and it's a historic military victory.
And President Trump has the option, as the commander-in-chief,
to compel an adversary to the table, which is precisely what he did.
And at the end, he chose to say, you know what, I'd rather talk to you at the table
than obliterate your capability to export oil and fund your terror regime.
So he did make that choice.
That was his choice.
He was a president of peace, and he's been willing to make those really tough calls
that the American people elected him to do.
Nothing we've done, not a single thing we've done.
This is a typical, of course, it's ABC.
Not a single thing we've done has put an American troop in more of a harm's way.
We've only set our troops up to harm Iranian military capabilities,
which they've done to devastating fashion and to great success.
Mr. Chairman, you had a point of question.
There's a lot in that question.
I'd love to take that offline and answer it,
but I'm struggling to find exactly what your question was.
So that's probably me, not you?
No, okay.
Sorry about that.
It's sorry.
It was an indictment framed as a question,
so you're forgiven for understanding.
Go ahead, please.
No, you've had your chance.
Go ahead, sir.
Thank you very much.
I believe so, based on the diplomatic.
Thank you very much.
See there? So Pete Hexas like, no, you had your chance. We're moving on. And then the chairman there kept going, showing that Pete Hexat doesn't have anything under control. And Iran understands that the United States looks like complete failures. They posted this late last night. Yikes. And here's Fox News also pointing out. We got it coming from Iran and Fox that the United States and Trump got nothing.
But I will say that the president's demands, we have not reached any of those objectives.
I have full confidence that the president is going to find some way to make this happen.
But he said that we want to dismantle all major nuclear facilities.
That has not happened.
The end of uranium enrichment on the soil, they're still arranging.
The transfer of the enriched uranium stockpels out of Iran, that hasn't happened.
The acceptance of intrusive international inspections, there's still not.
not willing to do that. And they have not suspended their ballistic missiles program. They're still
firing them all to stop the production of the long grain missiles. That's just a few of them
on the president's proposal. The question is, is the president using this two weeks to give
our soldiers a break, a rest to see if we can get this ultimately done? We'll see.
No, the president is putting us off two weeks because he has no out. And the only thing he can do is delay. He's just delaying.
his, oh God, I mean, he's either delaying his embarrassment or he's delaying like something
ultimately catastrophic. And Elizabeth Warren pointed out something really great here that,
well, not great, but she made a good point, I guess we'll say that, is that Donald Trump's war
in Iran, Americans have paid over $8 billion more for gas. So you are paying more because of this war.
And what have you gotten out of it? What have you received? Stress, higher bills, less money.
We've gotten nothing out of this. Who has better?
from this. I know probably people closest to Trump who have actually been able to make
insider trading deals based off information that only they were privy to. We've seen that in trading.
And other than that, I can't think of anyone who's benefited from this besides Donald Trump's buddies and perhaps Israel.
That's it. Israel got the war they wanted and we're all paying for it. And Donald Trump calls us a productive regime.
But it shows here. Same person, just young.
They got a younger guy who's more extreme.
Carolyn Lippet's also a bit in over her head.
I would strongly advise the media against running with narratives that have no basis, in fact.
What Iran says publicly or feeds to all of you in the press is much different than what they communicate to the United States,
the president, and his team privately.
I guarantee you you could switch those things.
What the United States says publicly is very different than what they say privately to Iran.
Wouldn't you say?
That makes more sense to do it.
more makes more sense to me. Caroline Leavitt also had a temper tantrum and tried shutting down a reporter.
We should all be grateful for.
The United States is a moral leader in the world given that he was asked this exact same
question by your colleague Andrew in the back and I think again the insinuation by anyone
in this room that Iran somehow has the moral high ground over the United States of
America is insulting.
Did Iran bomb American school killing more than 150 children?
Children? No. It's what we did.
I don't think there's many winners in this situation, but I don't think we have any moral
standing anymore in the world. And Americans know that too, because here we have news that
more than half of Americans now support impeaching Donald Trump. A majority of Americans
want Congress to impeach Donald Trump now, according to a new poll.
52% of registered voters back impeachment, 40% who oppose, according to a survey of
790 voters commissioned by two groups opposing his Iran war and other policies. So this is not going
well for him. It's not going well for us. I don't know if this is going to end with Donald
Trump being removed from office, but I'm going to tell you this. If Donald Trump had any
authoritarian wishes, if he was hoping to stay in past longer than he was constitutionally allowed
to, that's not happening. That is not happening. One thing about authoritarian's, you got to be
popular in order to seize power. He is not popular.
In fact, his power is waning not because he doesn't have a lot of it, but because the power so comes from the people.
And Donald Trump does not have the people.
He doesn't have the MAGA right.
He doesn't have the podcasters.
He doesn't have many MAGA influences.
We've seen Alex Jones, Nick Flintes, Panda Soans, all saying that Trump needs to be removed.
You don't think that has an effect on how Donald Trump is able to wield power?
It does.
It does.
It has a massive effect.
So it's awful this has all happened.
It's awful. It's awful. But there's been truly no benefit to anyone, including Donald Trump.
This has been terrible for him. He's not even being told that. We have reporting that Susie Wiles is
saying, hey, guys, I think we actually need to tell Donald Trump the truth about what's happening in Iran.
Who knows if they've actually done that? I hope they don't. Because the more that Donald Trump pursues this thing,
the worse it is for him. The worse it is for us. But I think if we're going to go down,
I guess let Donald Trump be the one that goes down first. Okay. Well, thanks for watching.
I'll see you soon.
Bye.
