Starting point is 00:00:00 We are witnessing, I think, one of the great real alignments in American politics right now. And if you're not aware of it, what has happening is that Tucker Carlson is in the middle of a civil war in MAGA. Ben Shapiro is attacking him for his interview with Nick Fuentes. And I guess my question for you at the top is, would you accept Ben Shapiro on our side if it meant defeating Donald Trump and MAGA in 2028? Of course, Donald Trump is likely not to run in 2028, but MAGA will still be around and everything he represents will be. And will you be with Ben Shapiro or will you try to ostracize him? And that's something I'm actually not sure how to answer right now.

Starting point is 00:00:46 But I do think that's where this is all heading. Ben Shapiro is on an island. You're going to see that that island is growing smaller and smaller. So as it says here, Maga podcaster is at war over Tucker Carlson and his fluff interview. And so Tucker Carlson did have Nick Fuentes on his show. And it was a softball interview. Had moments like this. So what are the other factors that prevent?

Starting point is 00:01:14 I'm sorry I called you gay, by the way. But I'm always, I think I'm just too old or something. I'm like, why is anyone married? You tell me, why aren't people married? Well, I mean, honestly, it's the women. The women. Yeah, okay. So that was the type of interview that Tucker Carlson had.

Starting point is 00:01:31 It was someone who literally said things like this. Documentary, I came home. I told my parents, I'm like, mom, dad, the Holocaust didn't happen. And they were like, we did not raise you this way. I remember coming home from college and my second semester. You know, I got home in the spring and I was like, mom, dad, Hitler was awesome. Hitler was right. And the Holocaust didn't happen.

Starting point is 00:01:57 And my parents were like, we cannot believe. Well, you are saying we did not raise you like this. I'm like, I can't believe you're not being chill about this. I was like shocked. Because my parents aren't even that political. I mean, my parents are like vaguely conservative, you know, like boomers are. And I thought they'd be down to fuck about it. I was like, yeah, guys, guess what?

Starting point is 00:02:21 You're never going to believe what I discovered. And they were so not cool about it. They were pissed. They were like, we will not tolerate that in our. house, I'm like, they got you too. They got to you too. Yeah. So Nick Fuentes saying things like Hitler is awesome, Hitler is right, and the Holocaust didn't happen. Nick Fuentes. That's what he believes. Okay. So then we have Ben Shapiro now came out fighting against all of this. Tucker Carlson acts as an ideological launderer for other people's evils.

Starting point is 00:03:02 Tucker Carlson says many inflammatory things, always buying back just enough of it to appear as though he's not saying what he's clearly saying. He's a master of gaslighting. Tucker Carlson, for example, would never say out loud what Nick Fuentes does. He wouldn't say the things many of his guests say. And so instead, he acts as an ideological launderer. He takes other people's hideous ideas. He softens them.

Starting point is 00:03:23 He treats them with love and care. And then he provides them with a massive sense. signal boost. He isn't merely talking to people in good faith, of course. He's promoting certain people and ideas and attacking others. So, for example, I'll ask a series of wildly obsequious questions to Nick Flentes. He'll even let Nick Fentz support for Joseph Stalin slide. It's actually funny. It was December 18th. I remember because that's an important date to me. And it's Joseph Stalin's birthday. I'm a fan. You're a fan of Stalin's? Oh, he's an admirer. But he will grill Ted Cruz about the population of Iran. Tucker Carlson,

Starting point is 00:03:56 will have on a Hitler-friendly pseudo-historian to minimize the Holocaust and blame Winston Churchill for World War II, and he will call him America's best and most honest historian. I thought Churchill was the chief villain of the Second World War. They just threw these people into camps, and millions of people ended up dead there. Tucker Carlson will have on over and over, a pro-Chinese propagandist who used global warming to promote global social... So you get the idea. Ben Shapiro literally dedicated 45 minutes to go and after Tucker Carlson. But the problem is, is that Tucker Carlson has people defending him.

Starting point is 00:04:33 And those people are quite important. DeShar Ali called this a watershed moment and said the president of the Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action has announced that the organization is standing by Tucker Carlson in the aftermath of Tucker's interview with neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes. This isn't Kevin bending his need to Trump. This is something new. In his statement, Kevin condemns what he calls a venomous coalition that is sowing division by attacking Tucker. That quote, venomous coalition includes MAGA Republicans as well as Jewish conservative commentators, activists, and donors. Kevin also frames the Nick Funches rhetoric as worthy of debate rather than something to be condemned outright. So things again that Nick Fentz

Starting point is 00:05:17 says, which really shouldn't be up to debate, Kevin from the Heritage Foundation, which by the way helped craft project 2025 is saying is up for debate. We also have folks like Randy Fine, who is saying this about Tucker Carlson. And look at these signs. Tucker is not MAGA. Today, Tucker Carlson is the most dangerous anti-Semite in America. Multiple speakers have talked about the rise of anti-Semitism on the right. But it is not enough to speak in platitudes or generalities about the fight. We must call evil by its name. Five years ago, if I was talking to my father, who's watching my dad, if I was talking to my father at 8.59 p.m. at night, he would say, Randy, I got to go. Tucker Carlson's going to be on. But make no mistake, today, Tucker Carlson

Starting point is 00:06:14 is the most dangerous anti-sumai in America. He has chosen to take on the mantle. of leader of a modern-day Hitler youth to broadcast and feature those who celebrate the Nazis, those who call for the extermination of Israel, to defend Hamas, to even criticize President Trump. So then you have folks like Tim Poole who say the attempts to silence Tucker Carlson is not because he is wrong, but because they fear people will agree with him. So as I said at the top, this is all heading towards like there is a literal civil war happening right now between what is. is, I would say, MAGA light and MAGA fully formed. And I truly believe, in order for decent people to win in America, we're going to need everyone.

Starting point is 00:07:07 We're going to need the Ben Shapiro's. We're going to need the Randy Fines, which sounds insane to say. We do not want the Tucker Carlson's and the Nick Fuentes is to win. So my question to you is, are you willing to accept folks like Ben Shapiro, Marjorie Taylor Green, and Randy Fine? If it means stopping fascism in America, I am for sure, for sure. So yeah, there's definitely something afoot, and I am willing to defend democracy with anyone who will listen. Yes. All right.
