Starting point is 00:00:26 Discover coffee plus on nispresso.com. Oh, baby. Oh, baby. Katie Zechariah in quite a hot mess because this woman claimed to be a lawyer, an attorney, four years. And it turns out after one reporter did some digging, she never actually passed the bar exam, but she's been calling herself a lawyer for years. Okay, now this all kicked up because a reporter saw that reporting that I'm going to bring you through and asked her this question. President Trump said that he thought that she was very good at the podium. And then a reporter asked, you said she's an attorney. Where did she pass the bar exam? Which state?
Starting point is 00:01:14 Zachariah, when I moved to China. Question, where did you pass the bar exam? And then she never answered. Well, this is all happening because popular information written by Judd Lagoon dug into all of it. And it went super volatile. Now, Judd at Popular Information is an amazing reporter, okay? And this is such a great example, how independent media is so important. So what we're going to do is if you feel the need, you feel the desire.
Starting point is 00:01:48 We're going to link below to his substack because we need to support people who actually report on the news. They're not just regurgitating what Donald Trump says. This is so important. So shout out to Judd for making this happen. I don't think she's going to survive this. We also have clips of her responding to all this that just came out moments ago. It's not looking good for Katie. This is how she described herself previously.
Starting point is 00:02:14 I'm a lawyer, Zachariah said during an appearance on the Greg Kelly show on October 5th, 2026. 10 days ago. As a lawyer, the procedural or, oh my God. As a lawyer, the procedural, procedural. Oh my God, I have a stroke. As a lawyer, the procedural steps are absolutely critical. Zachariah opined during the August 31st, 2026 edition of Fox and Friends First. She went on to say, I'm a lawyer.
Starting point is 00:02:43 I went to Pepperdine Law. Zachariah said on the In Front of Us podcast, and I took, sorry, in front of us podcast on a, oh my God. In front of us podcast on August 14th, 2026. As a lawyer, there's a big difference between answering something under oath. and answering something to the media. Zachariah explained on CNN on February 7, 2026. There are many more examples. Zachariah was also identified on screen as a lawyer
Starting point is 00:03:11 during at least 18 experiences on Fox News since May 2025. Here's one. Katie Zachariah attorney. Yet, Judd reports. There is no evidence that Zachariah ever passed a bar exam or has been admitted to practice law in any state. She is not listed as a member of the state. state bar of California, the state where she lives, according to her LinkedIn account.
Starting point is 00:03:34 She worked as general counsel for a nonprofit in the state called Fix California. Zachariah is also not listed as a member of the state bar of Texas or as a member of the DC bar to other places where she worked. Popular information search for evidence in all 50 states plus DC that Zachariah was admitted to practice law anywhere and found none. And just as an FYI, this is going to be critical. A lawyer by definition is an individual who is authorized to practice law. Merely holding a JD degree, as Zachariah does, does not authorize her to practice law to become a lawyer.
Starting point is 00:04:09 She would need to be admitted to a bar, which in most cases involves passing a bar exam. But Zachariah has claimed that while in China, she served as outside counsel to both the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Quote, I was the outside counsel to the IFC and the World Bank, Zachariah said on the Buck Sexton Shepard. on February 28th, 2028, sorry, 2025. Oh my God. It was an interesting and exciting experience. She repeated this description of her work many times and it was included in her biography for the California Globe where she was a columnist. So she's in a bit of a mess up. I also just want to
Starting point is 00:04:48 point out Donald Trump previously said of Kamala Harris. Her inability to pass the bar exam said this. You know, some people thought Hillary was smart. I don't think she's smart. Look how bad She performed in the last debate. Look, she was terrible. Now look, look, look how badly she performed. She went to Washington, D.C. She took her bar exam and she failed, right? Oh, she's a genius.
Starting point is 00:05:15 No, no, she failed on a bar exam. They'll go and check it. But trust me, folks. She failed on a bar exam. She couldn't pass, so she went someplace else and got her license. Oh, is that bad? It's literally who you hired. Only the difference is that Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 00:05:30 did pass it eventually. She became a lawyer and the attorney general. She never lied about her credentials. So embarrassing. Wouldn't you be embarrassed? Like where's like like can we bring shame back again? Can we just bring back shame? Shame. Shame. Real quick, while you're here, hit like on the video. It tells YouTube you want to see more content like this. And if you're not subscribed, please do try subscribing. It really helps us out so much. Don't can't someone somewhere feel shame. I would be so mortified. I would never, I would never lie about my resume, but I would be mortified if I did and it came out when I had the opportunity of a lifetime. That's usually when it does come out. And I think like, did she even need to do this? She's seen, I mean, I mean,
Starting point is 00:06:22 I don't even think she, I haven't seen interviews of her. Okay. So perhaps she is smart. I don't know. She didn't come across great behind the podium. But certainly it would seem that it's not the title lawyer or attorney that got her the job. So she didn't even need to do it, in my opinion. Anyways, in New York Times, talked to her very briefly and set the following three days into her job. Katie Zachariah is facing questions about whether she was embroidered her credential. She describes herself as a lawyer and the president called her an attorney. When she was asked on Tuesday in which state she passed the bar exam, she replied, replied,
Starting point is 00:06:58 She twice replied when I moved to China, huh? Well, on Wednesday evening, she told the New York Times that this whole confusion over lawyer, attorney, and China has been one big misunderstanding. Says here, this is her directly. I assume the question was, where were you after law school? She said, taking a quick phone call on the tarmac in Arizona where the president was holding a midterm rally. She wanted to say, that's all I could hear over the sound of Marine One. and wanting to respect protocol, the distance behind the president kept me from moving closer to hear the question.
Starting point is 00:07:30 It was only her second day in the job, she pointed out. So here's the truth about Katie, Zachariah, not quite attorney at law. She graduated with a law degree from Pepperdine University in 2011, but by some interpretations that technically makes her a lawyer, though many legal experts said it would not. But is she an attorney? someone who was licensed to practice law and give legal advice. For that, she would have needed to pass the bar. The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that she sat for the California bar exam
Starting point is 00:08:02 after graduating law school, but she didn't pass. The Times was unable to find a law license for her in California or anywhere else in the United States. You can't be a general counsel to a company in the United States unless you're admitted to the bar to practice law. A general counsel, oh my God, a general counsel implies that you're, practicing law, giving legal advice to the company, you can't practice law without a license. So then one has to wonder, what was she really doing at those law firms?
Starting point is 00:08:31 Was she lying? Did she make money and practice law illegally? Now, after this all came out, a group of bipartisan ethics experts have written the state bar of California setting judge's reporting, requesting an investigation into Katie Zachariah. She is in big trouble. And this is how she's trying to handle it by going on Real America Voice and saying the following. It's unfortunate that people dub this as some kind of conspiracy or want to put me into camp.
Starting point is 00:09:04 The truth is, is I was very careful how I executed this and I never came across as someone who was an attorney at law. This is her Twitter bio. Fox News, CNN, News Max, and O-A-N-N at all. General Counsel. here's a compilation of herself calling herself a lawyer. I'm a lawyer. I went to Pepperdine, Pepperdine Law. I practiced corporate law. I was a corporate lawyer. I practiced corporate law and practiced law as a corporate lawyer. I don't know, man. That seems pretty clear cut. I think she's in trouble. She wanted to say this.
Starting point is 00:09:35 I want to back up because originally I was getting a many, many inquiries. When Caroline Levitt left, do you want to put your name forward? Journalists reaching out, reporters reaching out, do you want to put your name forward for this role? And I think, said absolutely not. I am not lobbying for this job. I do not want my name anywhere near a journal or any kind of news outlet. I just don't want any press on this. Why? Because my philosophy is I'm on TV enough where if he sees me and he likes me, then I will be recruited for the job. I do not believe that lobbying for that job would have been successful. And I wanted to work for it. I wanted to audition for it. I think that's a much better way of in capital.
Starting point is 00:10:18 isolating it. And so I tracked every news hit to be in accordance with what policies he was pushing forward, particularly on truth social, since I was the senior communications advisor for Trump Media and Technology Group and Truth Social, where I would track what's important to President Trump, and I'm going to go on the news and talk about it. So in a sense, you were already performing the role in a capacity for truth social, because, of course, that's where he puts out all of his statements. So in a sense, you manipulated the president. Here's what she said about why she failed the bar exam.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I had already pre-registered to take the bar, and I didn't want to withdraw from that. And we knew we would be moving out to China. And I was obviously incredibly distracted and overwhelmed and excited for finally being married to someone who had been long distance from for at least a year, a year and a half when you include the engagement. And we just said, let's take this time and I'll take the bar and see what happens. The results are somewhat inconsequential because I knew I wouldn't need the bar in China. And we left.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Okay. All right. Someone made this said, how Zachariah passed the bar and you can see her walking past a bar and grill. Very funny. All right. So we're going to keep following this. I like, listen, when we live streamed on Tuesday, which by the, way, we live stream every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Eastern when we live streamed and talked about her,
Starting point is 00:11:47 I was like, girl, I don't think she's going to last less than two months. Now I'm like, I don't know if it's going to last less than two weeks. I don't think she survives this personally. How can you? But then again, then again, she does this. Where is it? She does this. Perhaps that's all Donald Trump really wants. Perhaps that's all he really needs. I'll see you soon. Bye. Thank you so much for watching. We're live every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Eastern and we have new videos daily.
