Hi, how's it going? So, guess what? Melania Trump's in the news.
Melania Trump has suffered worldwide humiliation, and it's not even this first clip. It's what I'm about to tell you.
Melania Trump just cannot stop making herself look bad. And I also have a clip for you of what the Melania Trump movie should have been.
Let's get to this clip first because Melania Trump yet again faced her biggest enemy, the English language.
Here's a bit of that speech.
The union of patriotism and family devotion among our soldiers for 250 years.
The harmony of love of country and love of family is what make us uniquely American.
It is very balanced which strengthens our military and builds our communities.
Does she not read that ahead of time?
I mean, does she not just take, I don't know, 20 minutes to go through it,
perhaps mark down words she might have a problem with?
And said it before, I'm going to say it again,
how long has she lived here?
And she doesn't have a basic understanding of how to speak English?
And of course, the hypocrisy of Melania Trump being extremely,
extremely immigrant, we'll say it like that, extremely immigrant, and then married to the husband
who is attacking all immigration, is not lost on me.
Speaking of loss, Melania Trump is suffering at the box office.
As it says here, moviegoers are running out of love for Melania.
The first lady's documentary continued to plummet on its third weekend, suffering a 62% drop
and attendance, according to data from IMDB Pro.
This puts the project on pace to gross only $15 million, nowhere near the $40 million that Jeff Bezos paid to acquire it.
An additional $35 million to promote it, the documentary was directed by Brett Ratner, of course, who is tied to Jeffrey Epstein because everything goes back to Epstein.
It goes on to say here that Amazon has maintained that Melania will muster strong numbers on streaming to make up for its poor box.
office showing. The studio said it plans to, quote, recoup some of the cost of the film when it
streams on Prime Video through advertising and prime signups. I don't think the person who watches
the Melania movie is someone that advertisers is probably going to make a lot of money from.
Since here, together, theatrical and streaming represent two distinct value-creating moments that
amplify the film's overall impact. I actually spoke to a reporter yesterday.
who saw this film and went to the premiere in DC and said that it is absolutely pointless.
There's nothing revealing in it.
She didn't even talk about, remember that hat that she has?
She didn't talk about that hat that she wore to Trump's inauguration.
There's literally no background information, no vulnerability.
It's a pointless project meant to only promote her name and to make money.
And it says here, whether or not people like it, the value of these movies is different for our business model.
we're getting a massive marketing campaign that's being paid for before the film gets to streaming.
If we can put these movies out theatrically and cover our Hinton advertising costs, why wouldn't we?
Well, I guess, yeah, what's the point of making money when you're in business?
What's the point?
I also have this clip here from Barack Obama, who actually talked about the thing Donald Trump did,
which is made that racist-ass post saying that the,
first lady and him are monkeys and here he is weighing in on that on brian tiler cohen's show and
we've seen the de-evolution of the discourse how do we come back from a place that that we have
fallen into well first of all i think it's important to recognize that the majority of the
american people find this behavior deeply troubling you know it it is true that it gets attention
it's true that it's a distraction.
But, you know, as I'm traveling around the country, as you're traveling around the country,
you meet people, they still believe in decency, courtesy, kindness.
And there's this sort of clown show that's happening in social media and on television.
And what is true is that...
that there doesn't seem to be any shame about this among people who used to feel like you had to have some sort of decorum and a sense of propriety and respect for the office, right?
So that's been lost.
But the reason I point out that I don't think the majority of the American people approve of this is because ultimately the end.
answer is going to come from the American people. And we just saw this in Minnesota, in Minneapolis.
It is important for us to recognize the unprecedented nature of what ICE was doing in Minneapolis, St. Paul, the way that federal agents, ICE agents were being deployed.
really good points and I gotta say I miss having a president that actually can speak in complete
sentences and is someone who tries to be decent. I miss that. I miss that. And I think that is something
sorely lacking in our culture today is we don't really have leaders who lead. We have leaders
who are showing Americans what it means to be our worst version of ourselves instead of the best.
and I know no one's perfect,
but it feels like Donald Trump and Melania don't even try.
Don't even try to be decent people.
That's why this clip I'm going to end with is so important.
Because Melania's film, as I said, doesn't show anything real.
But this version of what Melania's movie should have been does.
And I'll leave you that.
I'll leave you with that.
I'll see you soon.
Bye.
