Pete Huck Seth is currently getting destroyed online because of something he posted in the morning that is just simply inaccurate and revealed how ignorant he is.
And I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm just saying that Pete Hucketh likes to have a drink.
So perhaps that was a little bit involved too.
Now, what they're talking about is a fact of course if you didn't know that those six members of Congress released a video saying that the military cannot obey illegal orders.
Seems like a simple idea to me.
Now, apparently that made the right really pissed off, which they're kind of telling on themselves.
Now, Caroline Levitt said this yesterday about how the Trump administration would never issue an illegal order.
Go ahead, Colin.
They can't answer the question, Martha, because there is no answer.
They can't identify illegal orders because there are no illegal orders.
But they were suggesting, again, to the 1.3 million active duty service members in the military today that if you think an order is illegal, you don't have to
follow it action. Now, Caroline Leavitt here saying they would never issue an illegal order.
There's only one problem. Pete Hexeth doesn't call himself the Secretary of Defense.
He calls himself the Secretary of War. That is not legal. It's an illegal order that he's doing
that now. Calling it the Department of War without an act of Congress to change the name
is an illegal order. Now, of course, that's not the most morally reprehensible illegal order one
could give, but it is showing that if you're willing to follow a,
small illegal order, it tells me that you're willing to follow a much larger one.
The president cannot unilaterally change the name of a department.
Only Congress can.
And if he's following that illegal order, then Pete Hucketheketh most likely would follow bigger ones too.
So cut the shit on we don't follow illegal orders in this administration.
You all do it.
It's just maybe not the biggest ones.
Also, whatever you're doing with those boats doesn't seem very legal to me either.
Many people have said that as well.
Now, Mark Kelly is now getting attacked by the Pentagon and Pete Heggseth.
The Pentagon said on Monday that it is investigating Senator Mark Kelly, Democrat of Arizona,
for serious allegations of misconduct less than a week after he took part in a video that reminded troops to refuse illegal orders.
It goes on to say here that Mr. Heggseth's threat to recall and punish Mr. Kelly for speech
made long after retired is without precedent.
Mr. Swift said that is a lawyer.
retired officers are typically recalled for crimes committed only while they were serving
an active duty, he noted.
So I guess, like, the question for all of you is, do you think the government should be able
to punish you for your political speech if you are no longer serving the military?
I don't.
I don't.
That doesn't seem like to be a good precedent.
Now, Mark Kelly's fighting back, and here's what he had to say.
Of the six Democratic lawmakers who made these statements, which have so upset the president,
he's coming after you.
At least he's coming after you first.
Do you have any opinion as to why he may have singled you out in this way?
I don't know.
We would have to ask him that question.
Could be him, could be Pete Higgseth.
I don't know.
And I would have been really shocked if any other president did this.
But when I saw that tweet today, it kind of sort of made sense.
I mean, these two guys, they inform me of this in a tweet,
because this is not about the law.
This is about the media cycle,
and it's about intimidation.
And it's almost, the whole thing's almost comical.
Like, how does reciting the UCMJ,
how is that, which is the Uniform Code of Military Justice?
We basically repeated the Uniform Code of Military Justice,
and they're saying that's in violation
of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
It's absurd.
And I love that he's not giving up.
He's not backing down. He's fighting back. Mark Kelly also has back up with other senators who have been
defending him. And I loved what Senator Ruben Gallego said here.
Let you go. What would you say directly to Pete Hexsaf, the Secretary of Defense, of course, renamed
the Secretary of War about this issue? Well, I think number one, you will never, ever, ever even
be half the man that Senator Kelly is. You, sir, are a coward. And the fact that you are following this
order from the president shows how big of a coward you are. And I can't wait to you no longer
are the Secretary of Defense. All right. Senator Ruben Gallego. Should have punctuated that with
a bitch or piggy or piggy. Now, Pete HECSeth is in the news and has we reawakened all of this
because he did this early morning tweet where Senator Mark Kelly posted yesterday saying that he's
served 22 years and he kind of listed his history of his time in the military and then he also
showed his medals here. Now, what Pete Hexeth did was he said, so captain in quotes, what a piece
of shit. Kelly, not only did your suggestion video intentionally undercut good order and
discipline, but you can't even display your uniform correctly. Your medals are out of order and
rose reverse. When, if you are recalled to act dirty, I'll start with the uniform inspection.
Okay, only one problem. There's nothing wrong with this. There's nothing wrong with it.
Someone says here, Jesus, you're such a loser. Someone else said, do you know how mirrors work, Mr.
Secretary? Someone else pointed out here that all the medals in the world and Hegg Seth can only
nitpick that Kelly's medals aren't placed correctly correctly. And by the way, he's also wrong on that.
They are correct. They're correct. I don't know what he was thinking.

Pete
Yes, this probably has more to do
the fact that Pete Hackseth is actually not being given any big boy jobs, and so he just has to
tweet and be mad and being his feelings. Someone else, right. Mirror images from cameras or
a reverse, sir. And someone else said, in the world of moronic tweets, this is an impressive
effort to win the genre. Seth Apernison said, I see Pete is, quote, sober again. And then
someone else said, left. Mark Kelly, shirt covered with
medals, right? Pete Hedek-Seth shirt covered with booze. I mean, it is like the smallest of things,
but what they're also trying to do, too, is take away Mark Kelly's pension from all of this.
And as Mark Kelly said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what they posted. They are just
repeating what military and what they have to abide by, which is that they must obey
legal orders, but they cannot obey illegal ones. And really, the right is telling on themselves
when they are showing that even just suggesting that you're not allowed to do something illegal,
to them is an attack on them. So it makes you wonder, what did they got planned? What did they
got planned? That when these six members of Congress said, you cannot follow illegal orders
and it turns into this media cycle of insanity,
where the president of the United States is calling for charges of sedition,
makes it think what do they have in store for us?
And I just want to point this out, too,
that I went from Donald Trump saying,
we're going to hang these people,
we're going to execute them,
we're going to charge them with sedition to,
we're going to lessen Mark Kelly's pension.
So, though they might have like a really,
really loud bark, they don't really have much teeth.
So I think we should keep that all in mind too.
That just because Donald Trump says something insane
doesn't mean Donald Trump's going to follow through with it.
And I think it's going to help us keep our sanity in these next three years.
Almost three years.
We've almost made it through a full year.
That's a really good thing.
So thanks for watching.
We're going to keep watching this.
