Moni Trump is out with a new threat.
Ted Cruz has really dropped a nuke on Trump and his administration.
And if you think Republicans were going to start to moderate after yesterday,
unfortunately, you were wrong.
All that coming right up.
First, let's get to Attorney General of Minnesota, Keith Ellison, who had this to say about Trump,
if you will.
But secondly, yesterday we heard from President Trump twice on social media,
talking about the conversation he had with the mayor of Minneapolis,
and then the governor of Minnesota, Governor Walls.
He deemed both constructive.
He said there was more cooperation.
Have those words turned anything as best you can tell into reality on the ground?
Has there been any increased federal cooperation with local and state officials?
Not that I've seen so far, but I mean, you should understand.
Minnesota is abiding by the law as written.
We, we, we, we, we, under the 10th amendment, the federal government doesn't have the authority to convert us into its deputies.
We have the right as a state as a co-sovereign to make, to do our own business with our own tax money.
And what the federal government has done is said, well, if you don't do it our way, we're going to saturate your state with 4,000 ICE agents until you cry uncle and obey up.
And that's unconstitutional.
illegal. The conversation that you mentioned, yeah, I'm glad they're having the conversation.
It's a good thing. But we need to see some results. And at this point, we're in a situation
where they got a show. I mean, I know they got rid of Greg Bovino and there are reports that
they're going to get rid of Christianome as well. But none of that necessarily matters. What they
need to do is get ice out of Minnesota. They have to either, well, what's what's going to happen?
is we're going to abolish ICE, okay?
But until we get to that point,
until we have a Democrat in power who can make that happen,
we have to at least be like,
stop the operation,
stop terrorizing American citizens.
Now, Jimmy Kimmel had this to say yesterday.
If our leaders are intentionally creating
and encouraging violence and fear,
then I hope you will also agree we need new leaders,
because these are not,
leaders. And to the people of Minneapolis, to the Freddie family and the good family, and these
people who were looking out for their neighbors, we want to know that we are with you and you are
not alone. I'll tell you another thing. We also want to see those Epstein files already.
Period. Period. Ted Cruz, who is definitely running for president, had this to say about the
political consequences of what Trump is doing. And I think we're seeing what the first Fisher
and what's going to be a real divide among Republicans as they seek higher office.
The problem is, particularly for someone not paying attention, if you're being told this is a mom of
three and there's no indication, you know, she's not waving an ISIS flag or doesn't have a suicide
vest around her.
Yeah. Escalating the rhetoric doesn't help and it actually loses credibility.
And so I would encourage the administration to be more measured.
to recognize the tragedy and to say, we don't want anyone, anyone's lives to be lost.
And the politicians who are pouring gasoline onto this fire, they need to stop.
The politicians who are put.
I think the only one who's doing that really is Donald Trump and some MAGA influencers,
but it's merely Donald Trump in his administration.
And they're not stopping because here is Tricia McLaughlin on Fox News just this morning when she was asked,
if Preddy, who was observing ICE with his phone, is a domestic terrorist.
Okay. I do want to play one thing that happened on Saturday. This is at FEMA at a press conference there.
Watch. The White House has labeled the man who was killed in Minnesota as a domestic terrorist. Is that something you agree with?
And have you seen any evidence to back up that plane?
When you perpetuate violence against a government because of ideological reasons and for reasons to resist and perpetuate violence, that is the definition of domestic violence.
terrorism. This individual who came with weapons and ammunition to stop a law enforcement operation
of federal law enforcement officers committed an act of domestic terrorism. That's the facts.
Tricia, is the department and the secretary pulling back that label of domestic terrorist from
the Alex Preti situation?
Data, this situation we have seen on the ground in Minneapolis a highly coordinated campaign
of violence against our law enforcement. Your viewers have seen the images.
And in this case, we saw an individual who he was armed.
He got into a physical altercation with law enforcement.
He was in the course of obstructing a federal operation, which is a federal crime.
The Department of Homeland Security, we work every day to make sure we're giving the American people swift, accurate information.
And so we'll continue to do that as facts are emerging as things are evolving.
Then are you standing by calling him a domestic terrorist?
Well, we'll let this investigation that Homeland Security investigators are leading.
The FBI is supporting and CBP is doing a separate internal investigation as well, Dana.
Okay, so I guess it stands.
Yeah, so they're still standing by that.
I'm going to say this.
Every single person in this administration is via pariah.
None of this is like going to the view, none of this getting a Fox News contract after your time and the White House is over.
We need to make sure these people are unemployable.
that they are always, always reminded of the devastation that they cause of this country.
And we need to make sure we and they never forget what they did to our country.
I mean, it's obvious that it's falling apart of the seams when there's going to be a moment
where people are going to be like, I was never for this stuff.
Bullshit.
Bullshit.
We have it on camera.
Rep. Rich McCormick said that sometimes things just happen.
in a military. Well, unfortunately, I don't think we're at war.
Concern, are you among those of the Republican Party that are concerned about how things are being
handled in Minnesota? I think we have to have total transparency. I think that's the first thing.
When things went wrong in the military, when I was in the Marines, people died sometimes,
and sometimes it was through no fault of anyone's this bad circumstance.
People make decisions that are harassed sometimes when things are happening.
Everybody wants the right thing to be done, but sometimes mistakes happen.
When that happens, the best thing you can do is expose everything to truth, everything to transparency, just like we always say in the Republican Party, that's how you solve problems.
And then we get to the bottom of it and then people feel better.
The worst thing you can do is encourage people to actually get in the way of law enforcement from doing their job, especially if you're on people.
I just don't understand that, I just don't understand that line because holding up a cell phone and documenting what the federal government is doing isn't impeding or getting in the way of it.
of their operation. It's just not. It's not. And what Prady was doing was helping a woman who is
pushed down by ICE. And I can't, I mean, that's something I guess because, I mean, I understand it.
Someone was murdered in front of our eyes, but it's also just unthinkable that federal agents would
push a woman down for no reason. Let's see. We're going to be very skittish. This is going to
review, this is going to be a review from both sides, I think. But the rhetoric needs to be toned
down. I keep on saying that over and over again when you're talking about people, encouraging people
to bring guns and confront police officers, being violent, destroying property. That's never a good
idea that's always going to result in this. But I think in some... Even if it's never a good idea,
it's not something that should result in capital punishment. It shouldn't be something that
results in murder. So, sure, let's say someone is doing that, then they should be detained,
or they should have, they should be given a ticket, or they should be given a misdemeanor.
But it is not something that should result in death, ever, ever.
All right.
And then, of course, meanwhile, Melania Trump living in her own world and it looks as though
her own virtual reality here that filter is impressive.
It's talking, she made a massive threat.
I'm terrified.
I am terrified of this.
Compare that to the first term, because this is the beginning.
of moving back into the house you lived in four years prior.
As I said, I'm very action-oriented, and we had a great success the first year.
So many, as you just mentioned, take a down act, legislation.
It was bipartisan.
It was a big success.
It was written into a law.
I'm working on another legislation right now.
I have fostering the future and so many other points that you mentioned, $25 million to
HUD for fostering the future children, so many different things that people can.
Whenever, whenever there's a Melania clip, it tickles me, it tickles me, it tickles me, I can't explain it.
She's been in this country 30 years, 30 years, you can't learn the language, really?
And so much of MAGA is like, you know, if you live here, learn the light.
Well, hello, hello, calls coming from inside the White House.
All right, well, that's all I got.
Then I'll see you soon.
Bye.
