The White House is in panic mode. I have multiple officials from the administration and interviews
from today trying to do cleanup and it's not working, baby. It's not working. We have Pete
Hexeth right here who is trying to say that they're never going to release a video. I have
I have J.D. Vance who threw his wife under the bus. And of course, I have Caroline Levitt all coming
run up. First, let's get to Pete Hexeth, who said this about those videos where they're blowing
up boats. Apparently, they can show them, but not all of them. Also going to tomorrow,
allow the Hask and Sask to see the unedited video of the September 2nd, alongside with Admiral
Bradley, who has done a fantastic job, has made all the right calls, and we're glad he'll be there
to do it. But in keeping with longstanding Department of War policy,
Department of Defense policy, of course, we're not going to release a top secret, full,
unedited video of that to the general public.
Haskin, Saskin, appropriate committees will see it, but not the general.
Interesting, because they have no problem releasing these.
Why is it totally fine to release these videos, but you can't release the one that actually shows
your war crime, but you can release all of these and unclassify them. But the second that there is
an issue with what you've done that shows the crimes you've committed, can't release those.
Of course, of course not. Now, J.D. Vance, uh, J.D. Vance was giving a speech on affordability
that went completely off the rails. And what I think really funny is the way that Fox News cut to him
as if he was making some sort of grand statement.
And here's what he was actually saying.
I'm going to ask you to stand by.
We have breaking news.
The vice president for the United States, J.D. Vans,
talking about the economy, important points.
Let's watch.
And, you know, like a good gentleman,
I let my wife come down the steps first.
And then I get to the bottom of the steps.
And there's a bunch of firefighters
from the Great Lee Eye Valley who want to take a photo with me.
And obviously, I love our firefighters.
I'm happy to take a photo.
Now, here's the problem.
To the right of me is all these media cameras, probably broadcasting my every moment on national
television. Some of the fake news gathered with...
This guy has absolutely no charisma. It is crazy. Yeah. That's why Donald Trump picked him,
though, because he doesn't want anyone to upshow him. So, I mean, like was Mike Pence,
like oozing charisma? No. No, no, no, no. Donald Trump picked him because he knew he's not a star.
This here today.
And to the left of me, and to the left of me is these great firefighters.
And there before me is a sheet of black ice.
And I think to myself, if I walk over to those guys and take this photo, I am going to bust my,
you know what, I'm not going to say it because we have this very bright young man here.
I don't want to give it, I don't want to teach any bad words.
I don't want your mom and dad to be mad at me.
So I do what any self-respecting man would do in a situation like that.
I send my wife to go and take a photo with him.
firefighters.
I sent my wife to
potentially fall down from black ice.
What the hell kind of story is that?
I, what?
No, I didn't.
I actually didn't. I did it the right
way, but I did do sort of the
Biden's slow shuffle to get over there.
I did not want these
national cameras to catch me
doing anything, you know,
because if I fell, if I
wiped out on that runway, you all
know that would be national news for the next week.
No, I actually don't think anyone would care if you fell down.
I don't think anyone would care.
No one cares about you.
No one cares about you.
Not even the president.
Okay.
And then he was also asked about creating the economy.
Now, let's listen to it.
And then I got some thoughts about how Democrats should use this.
Thank you, Mr. Vice President.
This is Iriesentner from Politico.
President Trump last week gave his economy a grade of A plus plus plus plus plus what grade would you give the economy today?
A plus plus plus plus.
Look, here's the simple fact of the matter.
Again, you have to understand all of this stuff in context.
You have to ask yourself, what has the Trump economy been able to build over the past 10 or 11 months given what we inherited from the Biden administration?
No, I mean, you've destroyed.
You haven't built.
You've destroyed.
And I mean, that's great.
Cut it up.
A plus plus plus.
That is it going to be a great sound bite when you have people who can't afford anything.
And they're saying, well, you got to keep it in context.
Actually, no.
The context is people can't pay for things.
Things cost more.
That's all you need to say.
that's all that's all anyone knows is that things cost more and this administration wants to
pretend like that's not happening is literally the same thing it's the same trap Donald Trump got in
with COVID because it's like when your grandpa is dying you kind of know that things aren't
okay like there's a way in which reality eventually makes itself known to you because it becomes
personal the same thing happening with the economy
Now, Caroline Levitt was on Fox doing cleanup, and here's what she said.
We do expect that number to continue to decline as President Trump's energy policies continue to kick in.
And he made up the slogan, drill baby drill.
And that's what our Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, has been focused on since day one.
God blessed our country with amazing...
Did he make a drill?
drill baby drill origin.
Yeah.
Drill baby drill.
I actually didn't know this.
Wow.
Originated from former Maryland
Lieutenant Governor.
I think he's on MSNBC,
now known as MS Now,
Michael Steele.
I didn't know he invented that.
Meant to promote domestic oil drilling
from energy independence,
but it was popularized by Sarah Palin.
I had no idea.
He came up with that.
Well, certainly, it wasn't Donald Trump, you idiot liar.
All right.
And then we have one more.
All right.
And then we have the Louisiana Queen himself, Mike Johnson.
Trying to bat away questions about health care.
Thank you, Mr. Leader.
This morning, Congressman Mike Lawler said that it was political malpractice to not
allow a vote on ACA
I'm going to
read you that question because that was
okay
Michael Lawler said it was political malpractice
to not allow a vote on ACA
subsidy extension what's a reaction
ironically
weekend before last I was in
New York in his district on Long Island
and we were campaigning together
ensuring that he gets reelected
Mike Lawler fights hard for New York
as every Republican in this conference
does for their districts the districts are different
they have different priorities and ideas, but we do have, there's about a dozen members in the conference that are in these swing districts who are fighting hard to make sure that they reduce costs for all of their constituents.
And many of them did want to vote on this Obamacare, you know, COVID-era subsidy the Democrats created.
We looked for a way to try to allow for that pressure release valve, and it just was not to be.
We worked on it all the way through the weekend, in fact, and in the end, there was not, an agreement wasn't made.
Now, everybody was at the table in good faith, and I certainly appreciate the views and the opinions of every member of this country.
This is why people hate D.C. What the hell did he just say? What the hell did he just say? He said nothing.
That is actually a stout of the talent. How could you speak for a minute and 19 seconds and not say one thing that makes sense?
Could it just couldn't answer the question directly? Insane. Well, this is a White House in total chaos.
the American people are waking up.
I like that this is proof that they actually have to answer for shit still.
It shows that we are still in a democracy,
that they feel the need to have to answer tough questions,
even though they're not giving us great answers.
It is a good sign that they do feel that they have to respond.
So that's my hope for the day.
There it is.
Talk to later.
Bye.
