Man, when I saw this earlier today, I was very happy.
This woman, this woman, she wasn't made for this.
She wasn't made for this.
This is my favorite mess up, and it's also the one that happens to be, it's like a Freudian slip.
Y'all see this?
Zechariah, she goes, my president, excuse me, my husband.
The idea of not spending evenings with my kid is kids are,
completely unacceptable. So my president, excuse me, my husband, that's a good one. My husband is out
here. Oh, girl. Oh, girl. You're not going to live that one down. Now, what she was saying
was that she's like that she hasn't moved to D.C. yet. I think we should all be like, Katie,
Katie, Katie, just maybe put a pause on the move, keep a rental.
You know what I mean?
Like, it might not be smart to move your life to D.C.
Because something tells me you're not going to be there.
You're not going to be in this job very long.
Apparently, apparently she's also a lawyer who passed the bar exam in China.
I thought she was very good.
She passed the bar exam in.
She said she's in attorney.
Where did she pass the bar exam?
Which date?
What did she tell him?
She passed the bar exam.
I couldn't hear a goddamn thing.
Apparently she said, China.
I'm going to believe the reporters who actually were able to understand that.
Ron Philikowski said,
this is not an answer
China is not oh god he's so smart
you know who we should have on the show
Ron Filipkowski
we should invite him on
he's a smart guy
I think he's a former Republican
also he lives in Maine
he says um
this is not and this is not an answer
China is not an answer
has she passed a bar exam and been licensed
to practice law by jurisdiction somewhere
as she has claimed in the past repeatedly
if so what bar specifically
the fact that she won't answer this is telling.
She also said this here, he was replying to Dasha Burns,
who said, I practiced international transactional law with all the appropriate credentials.
All right.
So she, I guess it hasn't passed a bar exam.
Ted Liu said,
one cannot take an American state bar exam in China.
You know, do you ever feel like you're just getting punked?
You ever feel like, like, is this a simulation?
Is this a simulation?
Bar exams are administered at designated testing locations in each state of the union.
Are Katie Zachariah and Trump lying when they say she is an attorney?
Yes.
Yes, I'm going to answer that without knowing all the facts.
If the question is, is Donald Trump lying?
Yeah, of course he's lying.
Donald Trump lying?
Yeah.
If not, then she needs to disclose in what's this.
They're not going to do that.
These people are lawless.
Matt Ryan.
says this follows Jud Legumes, great reporting that there's no evidence that Zachara.
I had no idea this was the thing.
First off, I didn't know any, did you know anything about Katie Zachariah?
Other than the fact that she's a blonde who worked on a right-wing propaganda news network,
news network.
I knew nothing about her.
I didn't know that she apparently has been saying that she's an attorney who passed the bar exam.
And I truly did not know then that she also.
has been lying.
Interesting.
Zachariah passed the Chinese equivalent, the N-U-L-P-Q-E.
That would be quite something.
Only has a 10-15% pass rate and exclusively tests in Chinese law.
Something tells me Katie Zachariah is lying.
Hannah Brent underscore TV.
New White House Press Secretary Katie Zechariah.
I like saying her last name.
Katie Zechariah.
I thought it was Zakaria.
That's probably too, that's probably too ethnic.
Zachariah.
Katie Zechariah.
It sounds Amish.
It tells me, News Nation tells me at News Nation,
I practiced international transaction law with all the appropriate credentials
after questions had been raised about her background as an attorney,
where she passed the bar exam.
LinkedIn shows Katie has her JD from Pepperdine
and worked as an associate at the Zong Lung Law Fair
in Beijing, China from 2011 to 2013.
I believe we actually have her linked in here.
Let me see if I can pull this up.
Let's get some jubbies in the chat for producer Kelly
who organized all of this very beautifully.
This woman has had a lot of jobs.
I'm not even going to go through all this.
I guess like, is there something wrong with me?
It's an Italian last name.
It's Italian?
Interesting.
That doesn't change my opinion of her one way or the other.
but it is fun to say
Zechariah
I don't know
are you allowed to like work in China
and then work for the U.S. government?
Is that allowed?
I don't know.
Doesn't that feel like
that should be like
maybe not good?
Something we should avoid.
Anyway, she's had a lot of jobs
as you can see here.
Apparently she's still like she had a job with Trump.
I saw reporting that said she had a job with Trump
and the job was too overwhelming
so she quit.
But apparently she still works there.
Adam Mockler actually debated her a couple weeks ago, or like maybe over the summer, and it did not go well for her.
Can we find that?
Stephen Chung, a tremendous start from the White House press secretary.
She commanded the room.
She commanded the room and effectively reminded the American people of all the great work President Trump and his administration has done thus far.
Okay.
Alexander, someone said I have speaking to a former high-level Trump.
in the moments before we came out here,
this person said, I think she is going to be a train wreck.
To you hear, I should say, Vaughn, as I was speaking,
to a former high-level Trump aide in the moments
before we came out here, this person said,
I think she is going to be a train wreck.
It's not just open season for people to be critical on this woman.
She has a tough job.
This is going to be a tough gig for anybody who does it.
But it is also a very high-level job, as Peter noted,
with real critical responsibilities.
And it matters to hear those statements
because that tells you what the press.
is certain to be thinking about it as well right now.
Can you just...
Caitlin Collins was like, that was bizarre.
I think that's what she said or she was odd.
Let me see.
What did she say, girl?
It was kind of bizarre because it was a press briefing,
but there was only two questions that were taken by the new press secretary.
She came out.
She read very lengthy remarks, which is not unusual.
That's typically what Caroline Levitt would do as well.
She would take a, come out and talk about what the administration wanted to tout that day,
any announcements, anything that was going on.
and then she turned to questions.
Actually, let me adjust my count.
She took three questions.
They took one from the new media seat,
and then they took two others from reporters in the room,
and then she pointed to the fact that the president is leaving the White House in 45 minutes
and that he would answer questions there.
And so I'm not really sure, Wolf, that I've ever been to a press briefing
where there were only three questions in the briefing.
It was quite unusual, especially for the first press briefing,
which was widely touted by the White House and announced by the president,
They did make some news during that where Katie Zachariah announced that the president has asked the ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, to resign from her job following that damning Walshie Journal report with those allegations that she was basically trying to get Trump donors to fund her in exchange for giving access to administration officials, something that Kimberly Gilfoy, all note, has denied through her attorneys.
But regardless, the White House seems to feel that she should resign from that position, and the president has asked her to do so.
But yeah, Wolf, I'm just, I'm a little surprised.
I've never really seen a briefing where there weren't.
I mean, I've seen a few where there's only a couple of questions,
but I've never seen where there was only three questions taken during an entire press briefing.
So that was unusual.
So I'm not really sure.
I'm sure.
I mean, it started 15 minutes ago, so I don't really know what to say.
It's so bad.
CNN also reported that I spoke with one White House official.
who said a lot of them are missing Caroline today.
I will say as well, I spoke with one White House official
who said that a lot of them missing Caroline today.
But look, it was her first day.
I'm sure we'll be hearing more from her soon
and we'll see if it's the same message
from the people who are surrounding her in the president's orbit.
Ooh, girl.
Listen, the knives were out for Katie Zachariah.
Quote from a White House official just now
following Katie Zachariah's first press briefing,
Getting behind the podium is tough, but she got off on the wrong foot.
She needs to get much better fast.
Otherwise, she'll break Skaramucci's record.
I think that's it.
I think that's all we'll go through for this.
Let's do a poll.
How long do you think Katie Zachariah is going to last?
Let's say one month, two months, six months a week.
