A little bit later of a show, but I just saw this
clip on X, Elon Musk X, and I had to bring it to this DSA candidate running for Congress
named Oliver Larkin in I believe Florida 12. And Sean Hannity literally, like I felt like he was
going to have like, I thought a blood vessel in his neck was going to pop. He was screaming
so loudly. This man did not waver once. It was so good. And, you know, just,
Sean Hannity is worried that Democratic socialists are going to bring the following to the country.
Let me know if you think this is good or bad.
If Oliver Larkin had his way, well, there would be Medicare for all, no more electoral college, automatic same day, voter registration, an immediate shift away from fossil fuels.
In other words, just like every other DSA candidate, he would radically transform our country until, I would argue, it's not recognizable.
Here to try and defend his, well, agenda.
Florida Democratic congressional candidate, Oliver Larkin.
All right.
Yeah, that sounds normal.
That sounds well and good to me.
Medicare for all.
Taxpayer funded.
Taxpayer funded, let's just say,
women's reproductive health, universal access to,
this is just all health care.
Health care.
Health care.
Same day voter registration,
automatic voter registration, $25 minimum wage,
one year of paid family leave for new parents, yes.
I mean, this all sounds great.
Sounds great.
Now, that wasn't even the crux of it.
Florida Democratic.
Then, Sean Hannity literally had a temper tantrum
because Oliver Larkin dogwalked this man.
Watch this.
The congressional candidate, Oliver Larkin.
I do appreciate you coming on.
I do.
Let's pick up where we left off on my radio show.
So I ask you, two each according to their need.
from each American according to their ability.
And I ask you, well, who said that?
You did not know that it was Karl Marx.
Have you had time to think about that?
I've been focusing on meeting the people of our district,
and I'm not coming at this from a theoretical point of view.
I'm coming at this race from a pragmatic point of view
of what the American people and the people of South Florida need,
and that is Medicare for All, that is universal childcare.
That is the policy proposals that you just articulated on your show.
This is what people, working class people, Democrats,
Republicans and independents want to see reflected in our government's priorities.
Well, what gives you such confidence? Medicare for all, taxpayer-funded abortions, federal
government, you know, prescription drugs, no more electoral college, automatic same-day voter
registration, et cetera, which I think is ridiculous because you need time to check it out,
$25 minimum wage. You know, let me ask you the question this way. Out of every dollar these
so-called evil rich people make, how much should you?
they be able to keep in their pocket after they pay all the taxes you and your fellow socialist
slash Marxists would like to take? How much should they be able to keep?
I think if we went back to the mid-20th century, top marginal tax rates that we saw under
the FDR, Truman and Eisenhower administrations, that would be a fine place to start,
because that was the golden age of the American middle class when we were expanding the share
of wealth and equity in the country.
You want, well, give me a number. What percent?
of every dollar, should every American be able to keep after they pay the government,
local, state, federal?
It depends on the range of income that someone is making.
For billionaires, I think that billionaires should be taxed out of existence.
There's far too much money that is concentrated among the wealthy few.
You want to empower the government to take from the most creative providers,
the most brilliant people in our country.
Now, I don't know many.
Can we just fact check that?
Are billionaires, the most creative, most smartest people in our country?
I mean, they are the wealthiest, that's for sure.
But the most smart people, most creative?
I'm trying to think of, like, in most billionaires, you actually haven't even heard of their names.
Sure, we think of Jeff Bezos.
Sure, we think of Elon Musk, who, by the way, Elon Musk, as you're going to hear here,
hasn't really done a lot to create his wealth. He just got lucky and had a lot of wealth and
created more. But by and large, most billionaires become billionaires off of the labor
of other people. If not for everyone who did the work for that one person, billionaires would have
no money.
Any billionaires that are self-made that are stupid, do you?
I don't know any.
Well, I think that in the case of someone like Elon Musk, he's taken billions of dollars
in government subsidies and government handouts to enrich his further wealth.
And he then uses that wealth to borrow against us.
He also rescued astronauts that were abandoned by Joe Biden.
I'm sure you're grateful for Elon's contribution there, right?
I'm grateful for that.
Well, I mean, Elon Musk didn't even start his own company.
He just bought it out.
And this is, you know, someone who, you are grateful that he rescued astronauts and Joe Biden abandoned in space 200 and some odd days.
Sean, I'm not really sure what you're speaking to, the international space station.
I think that, you know, why.
I'm talking about the guys that needed to be rescued and Joe Biden did nothing.
And Elon Musk rescued them.
I'm sure you're grateful.
All right.
I think that we should have a national.
Elon Musk didn't do it.
It's the people who worked for SpaceX that did it.
And to his point that it is just about to make, I don't think we should have to rely on billionaires and billionaire-owned companies to advance in space.
I think that's, again, like, that's something we should all have skin in the game on.
That's why we have a government.
That's why we pay taxes.
So we can fund programs that advance our culture, our beliefs that can advance progress.
but one person shouldn't own all of it.
It should be, I don't know, am I crazy?
It should be the country.
Not for everything, but for the big things, yeah.
Billionaire should be taxed out of existence.
Having Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk making their own rockets.
Somebody making $100 grand a year.
How much of every dollar should they be able to keep?
I think that the tax rate on most middle class,
American.
Oliver, give me a number.
It's not that easy.
How much out of every dollar should they be able to keep?
But 100 grand, no, 100 grand.
I don't think that we should be,
how much of every dollar should they be able to keep?
It's a simple question.
How much are you willing to let the government take?
How much?
Give us a number.
I want to see a return on our taxpayer investment.
Give us a number.
Somebody works hard, makes 100 grand a year,
how much of every dollar should they keep?
The I'm not interested in changing the tax rate on middle class Americans on people making a hundred grand I want to raise taxes
somebody that makes 500 grand a year 500,000 a year how much out of every dollar should they be able to keep
It is it is in proportional to the top marginal tax the music is killing me. They're trying so hard to end it because he's they're not getting what they want
Give me a number where if you're making Oliver give me a number
It's not that easy. It's not that simple.
It's not that simple.
You're the one that wants, you know, cradle to grave, wound to the tomb.
They should be getting out what they put into the system.
Okay, so how much in your head, we should have public ownership of utilities.
The DSA people talk a lot about fairness.
What is fair for a guy that makes a half a million dollars a year?
Out of every dollar, how much should the government get?
Answer the question.
Why don't you stop playing games?
The person making half a million dollars a million dollars a year, they should pay the
same rate in Social Security tax as the rest of the working class because there's a Social Security income cap.
With the Social Security income cap, how much can they keep?
$184,500 a year.
Oliver, this is my last shot and I'm going to say goodbye.
I'm not talking.
I asked you 500 grand a year how much should go to the government out of every dollar.
How much should they be able to keep?
Answer the question.
Be honest for crying out loud.
What's fair?
They should pay the same Social Security tax rate as working class Americans.
We need to raise the taxable income cap on Social Security.
You don't want to tell your real opinion because you know you will look stupid.
Yeah, that's why.
They're like, give us a simple answer for a complex question.
God damn it.
You know, that's not the only time Oliver was on Fox.
Here he is saying what we've all been saying for a long time.
They cut this early.
when he went beast mode.
What is the number that is fine with you?
Is there a benchmark?
Is it fine?
How many children can be raped and it's fine if you're in relation to the immigration community?
If we're going to talk about children being raped, then we need to hold this pedophile president, Donald Trump, accountable,
and all those that have been implicated by the Epstein files that the Department of Justice is still not leaking.
And they've sent APEC after Thomas Massey for half.
having the temerity to hold accountable, the pedophiles that are in control of our government.
Thank you.
We appreciate your time.
Very much.
Oh, my God.
I like this guy.
I like this guy a lot.
