Maybe Scott Jennings talked
to Mitch McConnell.
I don't know if Mitch McConnell talked back.
Andrew this year is out
with some news around Mitch McConnell,
and we have now officially hit
50 days since
the dying tortoise has been seen.
And it's catching up to everyone because Scott Jennings was actually on CNN the other day
where Karen Finney, who is a Democratic strategist,
asked Scott Jennings the following, live on CNN.
Scott, can I ask you because you actually were invoked the other night on the show
about your former boss, Senator Mitch McConnell.
Have you spoken to him recently on the phone?
No, I haven't spoken to him
I haven't talked to him early on
and I'm in touch with his office but I haven't spoken to him
recently. We could, should we, do we want to
FaceTime him? No? Okay.
Okay, on that notes. Scott Jennings, Karen Penny, thank you both
for being here. Scott
Scott's got caught in a lie. I guarantee you
that man never
talk to Mitch McConnell.
Oh, no, no, no, let me put a different way.
because I'm not sure actually.
Maybe Scott Jennings talked to Mitch McConnell.
I don't know if Mitch McConnell talked back.
There's been no sign that Mitch McConnell is aware of what's going on.
And those photos, baby, they're just like, Mitch, Mitch, look over there.
And he's like a toddler.
Just looking at the camera.
Not sure what's going on.
Now, we also have senators repeatedly being asked about this,
and they are getting more and more frustrated from reporters.
Sir, you were saying that you know someone who visited McConnell in the hospital?
Can you reveal who visited him and what they thought about his condition?
Won't answer anything.
Also, Johnny Ernst.
Would you like to see Mitch McConnell put out a video to show his condition to the public?
What do you think he needs to put out more information?
He put out a letter the other day with the...
the Senate's physician. And I think that suffices. If the people of Kentucky want more,
they'll ask him for more. Thank you. We've gone through that letter. And it does not suffice whatsoever.
Here's actually that update. And it's from an unnamed physician. Senator McConnell continues his
recovery from a fall at home in June. OAP physicians visit with the senator every day discussing
all aspects of his rehabilitation. Who are they talking to? Isn't McConnell? Since his discharge,
from hospital care. He has maintained a strenuous course of physical therapy and rehabilitation,
including multiple sessions a day designed to rebuild strength and reduce the risk of future falls.
Okay. Interestingly, Desiree Townsend talked about, I'm going to play this for you,
but she asked, like, what is he being rehabilitated for? Because he walks in a wheelchair
and he supposedly talked to multiple members of Congress and Scott Jennings.
for an hour in total.
What's he being really rehabilitated for?
Desiree Townsend here again outside of George Washington University Hospital for day 50 of the medical miracle that continues to be Senator Mitch McConnell.
He has now been here for seven weeks plus one day.
Receiving what his office will lead us all to believe is rehabilitation.
Now the question is, what is he being rehabilitated for?
Because he had nearly 60 minutes worth of conversations with Jennings Barrasso and Thune over the phone a few weeks back.
He is also wheelchair bound, which would basically render the need for being able to learn to walk again unnecessary since he was already wheelchair bound at Capitol Hill.
And most importantly, he's already signing his name to congressional documents as of July 28th.
So I have an interesting alternative hypothesis to put forward to you for this rehabilitation.
So a former ICU nurse reached out to me and gave me this type of rehabilitation.
that's typically done on profoundly, profoundly incapacitated patients.
These would be patients that had a stroke were incapacitated in a coma or in a vegetative state.
Now, what this therapy is called is called passive range of motion therapy.
So when the office of the attending physician basically told us all that he's in rehabilitation
could technically have still been true, but it means that if this other alternative
If rehabilitation is correct, the rehabilitation he's receiving is therapist, basically moving the patient's limbs around and essentially to prevent muscle wasting and also to reduce muscle shortening and keep the joints mobile.
So as well as circulation, help with the circulation of the incapacitated patient.
So it's a very interesting hypothesis, but I think it would fit with the EMS dispatch audio.
So if we actually go back and look at those facts, someone at his address was found unconscious.
They went into cardiac arrest and they needed CPR.
It's very, very plausible that they knew when they were loading him into that, into that paramedic,
into the ambulance vehicle that he may already have been brain dead.
And that could be why there wasn't the need to rush him to the hospital.
But the fact that he's been here, 50 days for rehabilitation, he couldn't even make a videotaped statement
for Kentuckians, for those participating in Fancy Farm today, like he did back in 2022,
is starting to lead me to believe that this rehabilitation might actually be what is called
passive therapy used for severely incapacitated patients.
Interesting.
And yeah, let's get to that point real fast because there's a thing that happened over the weekend
called Fancy Farms.
And I think I knew about it only because.
because of my following of this.
And Mitch McConnell did not send a video into Fancy Farms.
Now, typically, that's what he's done in the past, but not this time.
Sorry, I thought I had the tab up, I don't have the tab.
But Mitch McConnell in the past has sent videos into this party called Fancy Farms.
We had one as soon as 2022, where he couldn't make it.
and he talks via teleprompter and gives a message to the people of Kentucky.
That didn't happen this year.
Instead, we just got that statement from Mitch McConnell here that I read to earlier,
saying that he's not going to be able to make it.
So there's obviously something different here where he can't even go on camera to make a statement
about his absence.
I really do think that this man is incapacitated.
I don't think he's aware of what's going on.
And I think it's likely that he is alive, but he's not really living.
Now, here is that video from Fancy Farm here.
Oh, Fancy Farm.
I'm sorry I can't join you all in person.
Fancy Farm is one of my favorite traditions.
But my day job is fighting for Kentucky's here on Capitol Hill.
And with Democrats threatening to height taxes in the middle of recession,
I simply had to be there to vote.
How simple is it to do something like that from the hospital?
And yet he can't.
Now, that's what brings us to this very awesome update.
One thing about Andrew Bashir, when he's ready to blow, he blows.
Is that a good expression?
You know what I mean?
Blows up.
And he said this here, he said, sorry to miss Fancy Farm today.
He wrote a statement, sorry to Miss Fancy Farm Day, but let me,
get in on the fun. Rand Paul apparently said I've been neutered by my legislator,
Rich coming from a guy who's never had a pair of balls, and if he did, they'd be held by Trump.
Wow. You know, Andy Bashir coming caused a very nice, sensible man, but that's kind of out of left
field. I love it. I love it. He goes on to say here, I'm told Andy Barr also spoke. We aren't
the same. Yes, same first name, hometown in high school, but I don't run racist ads. Yes,
Steve's my dad, but Trump's his daddy. Whoa. Funny how the Republicans are all mad. I miss one
political event to watch my son plays baseball, but no outrage that Mitch McConnell has been nowhere to be
seen for 50 days. Fancy Farm is a great Kentucky tradition, and it's all in good fun. I can take it.
I hope they can, too. I don't even, I don't, Andy Bashar, Andy Bashar, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
I was unfamiliar with your game.
I had no idea you were capable of doing that.
This is what we need.
This is the energy.
Right here.
This is the energy.
God damn it.
That's very satisfying.
Now, he said this today.
He said, I know there are a lot of folks wondering about the significance of August
3rd regarding a potential Senate vacancy.
I want everyone to know that this date has no legal impact on my options.
Should there be a vacancy this year worth a reminder right now,
there's one last vote for the Save Act
Trump's war on or the potential
replacement of a SCOTUS justice.
So we are
going to see, I mean, I don't know, you think
August 4th or August 5th when that special
election date passes,
Mitch McConnell is going to mysteriously die?
I don't know, maybe.
But even if you were, the second
there's a vacancy, Andy Beshear, is he going to be able to
nominate a Democrat and fight it in court?
And I look forward to that moment.
