Starting point is 00:00:00 If you don't know, Donald Trump is planning a big party next week. We're actually going to be live streaming it here. On the Keith Edwards show, it's on Wednesday and Thursday at next week, the 8th, and the 9th, and we will be streaming in the evening. I'm not sure exactly when. We're going to figure it out. I don't want to do it the whole thing. All right, it's five hours long each day.
Starting point is 00:00:19 We're not doing the whole thing. But we're going to watch it. We're going to watch it. We're going to make fun of it. And so please stay tuned. What we're going to be looking for is the fact that it looks as though no one is showing up. No one wants to go. this thing in June, and I have clips of many prominent Republicans saying they're not going to Donald
Starting point is 00:00:35 Trump's big party next week. And I think we know why. The tides have turned on MAGA. In fact, MAGA is making their own memes about the MAGA lemmings who no matter what defend and do whatever Donald Trump wants and here's that. You're scared of flock cameras? You carry a cell phone with GPS all day. What's the difference. It's not a war. We're just bombing Iran. We need the data centers. We have to win the AI race. Oh my God, shut the hell up about Epstein already. Gas costs more. So what? It's worth it if Iran doesn't get a nuke. If you've got nothing to hide, why do you care if they track you? America's finally great again. That honestly is so good. I want to make my own. I enjoy this character. literally, it's perfect.
Starting point is 00:01:42 It's perfect. Maga, you suck, but you can still meme. And listen, they know that they're cooked because many MAGA influencers are leaning into it saying Patriot. Someone else said, I look like this and say this man is absolutely hammered down a whole 12 pack of Budweiser and still dunking on lip charts. They're just like, no, no, no, I think this is funny. This is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:02:01 I love this. I love this. No. The MAGA movement is dying. It's dying. And another piece of evidence that this thing has junked. Trump the shark, GOP nominee for Colorado of Governor Victor Marks said that he met Satan and that he's performed an exorcism.
Starting point is 00:02:19 By the way, I'm pretty sure he'll be speaking next week. Here's that. Today, we need to tell you more about the Republican nominee for Governor of Colorado, Victor Marks. You might remember him as the candidate who claims to have called in deadly military strikes against ISIS as a civilian. He claims his organization has rescued 43,000 women and children, but has not seen. said where that is happening.
Starting point is 00:02:41 And when asked, he famously wouldn't tell a journalist how many people he's allegedly killed. Now, there is more. Talking Points Memo first reported an audio recording of Marks claiming, get ready for this, that he has met Satan during an encounter in a Texas prison with a potentially possessed teenage inmate. Hey, I've met the devil. I've met Satan in person, through a person. I said, hey, you know, this devil, man, I said, I was like, all right, in the authority of Jesus Christ, I can, man, you tell me your name. And all of a sudden, things got born looking, I am Satan.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Right. He has openly talked about this kind of work, including releasing people from demonic holds over the phone. MS now has reached out to the Marx campaign for comment. Before the primary election, a local news station asked him directly about it all. If you're elected governor, would you continue to perform exorcisms while governor? Well, let's make sure we get the semantics right. It's not casting demons out of people. It's breaking strongholds, which are evil-pressive. I mean, I think there are people out there that suffer tremendously because of evil.
Starting point is 00:04:04 And I would never stop praying for people. Now, I want to be clear, this isn't about his faith. This is about a pattern of statements Marx has made that he can't or won't back up. And a decision Colorado voters are going to have to make this November. Now, they put out a release in June saying that the Republican midterm convention marks their first in American political history, a primetime showcase for President Trump's success. What success? A ballroom renaming lakes and, I don't know, putting us in more debt, putting us in an illegal war. He made a lot of money. That's about it.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And says that it's going to create a vision of the bold plan of the world. they continue to do on behalf of the hardworking patriotic Americans after they achieve victory in November. The message is simple. This is crazy. Americans want strong borders and sound immigration policies, not sanctuary cities, and the unspeakable crimes that comes with them. They want to continue to reap the profound benefits from the one big, beautiful bill, no tax them tips,
Starting point is 00:04:59 new pathways to retirement savings and a vibrant economy that lifts all boats. Okay. Well, Donald Trump is desperate, apparently. He's desperate to make this thing a success. Says here, Donald Trump will now speak on, oh my God, he's speaking on both nights. Amazing, as he desperately tries to drum up enthusiasm. He was only supposed to speak for one night, and now he's speaking for two.
Starting point is 00:05:19 The president was originally supposed to headline only the second night, and now he's going to speak in both. The event was organized. You try to give the GOP a much-needed election boost and mobilize Trump's MAGA base, even though his name will not be on the ballot. Dozens of Republican lawmakers have confirmed that they have no intention of attending. I'm going to show you that in just a moment. Others have decided it is better to distance himself.
Starting point is 00:05:38 from Donald Trump, who is the most unpopular president in modern history, who is facing dire approval ratings over the war in Iran, voter backlash over his handling of the economy in order to improve their election chances. What's really interesting about this is that typically, when you have a very unpopular president, you try to be like, we don't, we don't, hey, that's not me. I'm an independent Republican.
Starting point is 00:06:01 I vote the way I want, not the way they tell me to and blah, blah, blah, maybe you do a little bit of critiquing to try to distance yourself in property. What Donald Trump is trying to like wrap them around his shittiness. They're like, he's like, remember me. It's me. You're voting for me. You don't want to do that when you're the most unpopular president in American history.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Buters are like, all right, I don't like you. You're connecting to her? No, we're voting her out. Susan Collins, I'm sorry, Susan Collins is not long for this world. She's not long for this world. It's so bad that Max Miller, who has been accused of domestic abuse, is not going to the convention. How bad is something when even Max Miller is like, guys,
Starting point is 00:06:38 This is not even something I want to do. We do have other Republicans just saying straight up, no, they're not going. Here's MSN out reporting on that. The only downside to this event is that a surprising number of Republicans may not be able to attend at all. Are you one of the midterm convention? No, I'm going to be in my district.
Starting point is 00:06:55 We're going to win. Yeah. Still TVD. We actually are trying to work out our schedule right now. No. No, I'm not going to go to the convention. Yeah, thank you. Do you want to go?
Starting point is 00:07:05 I want to be in my district. Yeah. So we'll see. Okay. Why would you rather be in your district just to talk to the I always want to be in my district? It's very rare that I go outside of my district. Are you planning to go to the midterm convention next week? I'm not. Tell me why. My son's getting married in Greece. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:07:20 Destination Williams. I have a good excuse, right? I want to get there, but I've got a few things that my son's playing high school football. I promised him I would not miss any of his games. I really wanted to go to the big party you're charging me $100,000 for, but I'm busy getting a tooth bolt. CNN also has some reporting of Republicans being like, midterm convention, not for me. Are you planning to go to the Republican convention next week? I'm planning to be in my district.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Are you going to the Republican convention next week? Are you going to the Republican convention next week? I have to be in the district because I have events. I would love to go. I was thinking about it. I'm going to miss out on something important, but I cannot be into places at the same time. Even James Comer said he's not going to Trump a political.
Starting point is 00:08:06 In next week, Congressman, the midterm convention in Dallas is being called Trump a Palooza. But it comes as President Trump's approval rating is underwater, and at least 45 Republican lawmakers have told Politico they're going to skip it. Will you be there? I had stuff already planned in my congressional district or I would be there, but got a lot going on back in Kentucky. So my time's needed there. It seems kind of like a no-brainer that you would move your schedule around for. No, the first ever of its kind where the president is talking both nights in a row. What do you make of that and your 45 other colleagues who aren't going?
Starting point is 00:08:48 It's quite a number. Well, I mean, I don't know how many go to a regular Republican National Convention. I mean, I go one time and then I'll skip one time. I mean, I don't think that most members of Congress are on a regular schedule to go to party conventions. That's just the way it is with the Republicans. The Democrats may be different, but I certainly support the cause. There are several people from my district who are going to be in attendance there, but I already had stuff planned back home in Kentucky, and I feel like that's where I need to be.
Starting point is 00:09:21 But a lot of members are going to be there. There are going to be a lot of donors there, and the ones that I think are going to be in most of the tough races, I think we're going to be there because they're going to be different events and media opportunities for them there. So it just depends on where you are in your congressional race, I guess, and what you have planned in your district. For me, I have a lot planned back in Kentucky next week. And as I mentioned at the top, this thing was announced in June. He had stuff planned. What do you have planned?
Starting point is 00:09:49 What did you have planned since June? I'd love to know that. Now, as I said, Donald Trump, he is going to bring the party down with him because he is reminding everyone that he's, that he's on the ballot. That's what, that's the Democrats' message. Democrats are like Trump's on the ballot. Trump's like, yeah, I am. You know, you don't, you can't do it.
Starting point is 00:10:08 And I'm going to take a lot of time and I'm going to help people get elected if I can. There's a theory that I get the vote. You know, I see it all the time that when Trump's on the ballot, they win. When he's out of the ballot, the people don't go to vote. And I'm asking the people through your brilliant show, number one show.
Starting point is 00:10:26 I'm asking the people to get out and vote. pretend them on the ballot, they tend not to vote. You know, it's not an insult. It's sort of the opposite of an insult. When I'm on the ballot, oh, if I was on the ballot, everybody was saying it would be a slaughter. But like 35% of the people don't vote. That would have voted.
Starting point is 00:10:44 And I got to get them to vote. And if we do that, we're going to have a great victory. And as one Territ County voter told GOP officials, nothing you can do is going to stop us this November. Here's this. I want to reiterate with the nice lady before me said. You're fired. Mr. Tim O'Hare, Matt Krause, I guess maybe you're safe.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Manny Ramirez, wherever he is. You guys are out. What could possibly be so important? Mr. O'Hare, can you listen to me, please? Hello? Hello? Can you look at my eyes, please? I can hear every word you're saying.
Starting point is 00:11:22 I want you to look me in the eyes. I want you to look me in the eyes. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, look down. because down is what you're going in November. So keep looking where you're going. Okay?
Starting point is 00:11:35 Because this is what we're doing after this from now until November, whether you cut these places or not. We're going and we're knocking on doors and we're bringing people out. And we're telling them where the voter locations are and we're helping them get there. And nothing you can do can step us from removing you in November. So come November, you better find yourself a new job.
Starting point is 00:11:52 And to Mani Ramirez, who is not here me. You can hear me in the restroom. Vote for Nidia in November. All right, and Zeta. So as I said, we are going to watch this thing. We are going to laugh at it. We are going to, if you want to commiserate, watch with us, we have a link. I don't know if there are links to be below, but you can go to the live stream section on the page here.
Starting point is 00:12:12 And you can click notify and you'll be notified when we go live. So we're going to be going live next week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You ready for that? I am. I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be so bad. It's going to be hilarious. I cannot wait.
Starting point is 00:12:26 I cannot wait. I wish Democrats are doing it too. It would be, it'd be nice to see Democrats. Do it, but I understand whether or not. We'll see them.
