A man named John Barron just called into C-SPAN complaining about the Supreme Court sounds very much like the President of the United States. A person was shot and killed at Mar-a-Lago, and Donald Trump's own administration officials are admitting the worst of the worst when it comes to our money. Our money. Let's start first with this very, very strange phone call that happened today on C-SPAN. Now, I do need to give you some background because John Barron refers to a pseudonym used by Donald Trump in the 1980s in 1990s to act as an own spokesperson with the media. Trump used as alias to plant stories, promote himself, or threatened journalists while

pretending to be a representative from the Trump administration. The name was frequently used during the 1980s, including during the demolition of buildings for Trump Tower. And Trump himself confirmed under oath in 1990 that he had used the pseudonym John Barron. That leads us to today. where a caller named John Barron called in to C-SPAN. John in Virginia, Republican. Let's hear from you.

Well, this is John Barron. And you have, look, this is the worst decision you've ever had in your life practically. Jack, and Jack's going to agree with me, right? But this is a terrible decision. And you have Hakeem Jeffries, who, he's a dope, and you have Chuck Schumer who can't cook a cheeseburger. Of course these people are happy. Of course these people are happy.

But true Americans will not be happy. And you have the woman earlier. I assume she's a woman. She's a Democrat. But she said she's disgraced. She's devastated. All right, John. We'll go to Chester, who's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Democratic caller.

Now, that was an impersonator, right? Right? Many Hassan asked that. He said, surely, that's an impersonator. I think we're listening to a woman. I think it's an impersonator. John in Virginia, Republican. Let's hear from you.

Well, this is John Barron. And you have, look, this is the worst decision you've ever happened in your life, practically. Jack. I think it's an impersonator only because it sounds too coherent. He doesn't sound as old as he does today. going to agree with me, right? But this is a terrible decision. And you have Hakeem Jeffries, who, he's

a dope, and you have Chuck Schumer who can't cook a cheeseburger. Of course, these people are happy. Of course. Yeah. Like, I know Trump is incoherent, but Chuck Chimmer can't cook a cheeseburger. I don't know. Someone said, the call actually took place, but I suspect

the caller was a Trump impersonator. It's a hilarious prank. I do think it's actually very funny. And these are all the different pseudonyms that Donald Trump has used in the past. John Miller, John Barron, David Denison. Speaking of Hakeem Jeffries, Hakeem Jeffries was on Fox earlier today, saying that he wants to reform ICE.

Why take away funding from FEMA, from TSA, the Coast Guard, and others, when ICE is fully funded, why not reopen the government? Well, let's remember. Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the presidency to the extent there is ever a shutdown,

as was the case with the 43-day Trump-Republicans shutdown in the fall. We cannot move forward out of a shutdown without Democrat votes. They can't do it. You guys have got to vote with them. So let's talk. Okay, so let's talk about that. Our basic value proposition is that taxpayer dollars should be used to make life more affordable for the American people not to brutalize or kill them, as was done with an ICU VA nurse, Alex Freddie. And so our view.

And those are tragic cases that are being investigated and must be. We need answers on that. But that, that, I'm happy to respond. I'm happy to respond if you give me the opportunity to respond. So we believe that this moment should be used to make dramatic changes to ice. I don't think we want dramatic changes to ice. I think we just want to get rid of it. I don't think you can reform.

Could you reform the Gestapo? No, there's a culture within ice that the only way we can get rid of it is by actually deleting it and building something different. will say that I am proud, I will say I am proud of Hakeem Jeffreys for at least going on Fox News. That's something that not a lot of Democrats do. Democrats only like to stay in their lane going MS now or CNN or friendly podcasts or friendly YouTube channels such as this one. It's important that we fight the fight on the enemy turf. So I'm at least happy he's over there fighting.

I wish you were fighting for the things that I think most Americans want. that are transformational and that are meaningful. That include lifting up the Fourth Amendment and ensuring that judicial warrants are actually required before ICE agents can break into the homes of the American people. We believe there should be independent investigations so that if ICE breaks the law, state and local authorities can investigate and prosecute them, as is the case with every other law enforcement agency.

I don't know. That's very frustrating to watch, but I'm glad he's over there and I do think, I think, you'd let me know. I think most Americans want to just get rid of ice. And that's how I think. Now, as I said, there was a man who was shot and killed at Mar-a-Lago, and here's a little bit of that. At 1.30 this morning, the security detail detected that a individual had made his way into the inner perimeter of Mar-Lago. A deputy and two Secret Service agents on the detail went to that area to investigate. They confronted a white male that was carried a gas can and a shotgun.

He was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with them, at which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position. At that point in time, the deputy and the two secret service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat. He is deceased at the scene. I'll give you a picture of the shotgun and the gas can to have with you. So that's what we know now. At 1.30 this morning. I mean, I guess we're so cooked because I just don't believe anything anymore.

I don't believe anything anymore. Like, sure. Okay. That is your telling of the events that happened, but I just know that everyone lies. Everyone lies now. Like, I don't, like, what actually happened? Who knows? Who knows?

but with Cashertile's FBI and with Donald Trump's administration, it's just hard to know exactly what's the truth anymore. It's just hard to know as the truth. And I suppose we will get more information as it comes out. But I do not trust the police. I do not trust law enforcement right now to give us the full story. I think they always want to shape events as they best see fit to help their narrative. So I don't trust them.

But that is the update for that. And then here is Scott Bassett admitting. that the administration stole your money, and they're not going to give it back. Question. Will you refund the roughly $134 billion in revenue taken by these emergency tariffs? Well, Dana, that's not the big question. Let's just level set here. What the Supreme Court did, by the way, Scott percent billionaire. It was a very narrow reading of the presence authority under the IEPA tariffs. We have other tariff authorities, which have been functioning, Section 232 tariffs, Section 301 tariffs.

And, Dana, when you say it's a big question, that's bad framing, because the Supreme Court didn't even address that. The Supreme Court remanded it down to a lower court, and, you know, we will follow what they say, but that could be weeks or months when we hear them. So the Supreme Court did not address refunds. Sure, they didn't address refunds. That is clearly going to be up to to you, which is why it is. No, no, no, no, Dana, it is not up to me. It is up to the administration. It is up to the lower court. Let's just be clear on that. Okay. Well, the Justice Department told a federal appeals court in this very case last year, if tariffs imposed on plaintiffs during these appeals are ultimately held unlawful, then the government will issue refunds to plaintiffs.

Again, I'm not going to get out ahead of the court. We will follow the court's direction. but as I said, that could be weeks or months away. That decision was not rendered. My thing is, like, I just want my money. I want my money back. I think Congress needs to run on this. You fund checks for all Americans from these illegal tariffs. I think it's something that we could run on right now for 2026.

And it's something we must run on because the American people were stolen from. Donald Trump stole our money. And I want it back. And you know what? The corporations and everyone else, they can all sue. They want to sue. But the American government should take care of us. They should give us back the money that was stolen from us illegally.

I don't like this billionaire telling me what I can and can't have. Okay? We deserve to have our money back. It was taken from us illegally. The least they can do is give it back. Thanks. Oh, and hit like and subscribe. Bye.
