Starting point is 00:00:00 Donald Trump is in his feelings. He's in his feelings because the Supreme Court that he thought he had control over, turns out they're still independent. Today is probably the most hopeful day I felt in a long time. And Donald Trump is now threatening acts of war because he can't place taxes on foreign countries. It's really a tax on ourselves. And here he is talking about the Supreme Court. They're so happy. And they're dancing in the streets, but they won't be dancing.
Starting point is 00:00:31 for long, that I can assure you. The Democrats on the court are thrilled, but they will automatically vote no. They're an automatic no, just like in Congress. They're an automatic no. They're against anything that makes America strong, healthy, and great again. They also are a, frankly, disgrace to our nation, those justices. Those justices are disgraced to our nation. The justices, he put...
Starting point is 00:01:01 up for nomination on our disgrace. Let me know if he seems defeated as you watch the rest of these clips. What's his name? Howard Nutlick was there, and he looks like, as Midas Touch says, it looks like a hostage victim. And Donald Trump threatened to pack the court. He is just totally falling apart. That the Democrats who oppose this only because they want to go the opposite way. They'd like to pack the court.
Starting point is 00:01:25 They want to put on 21 people. They want to pack the court, pack the Supreme Court. Maybe they should do it. Maybe it would be better off if they did it. They want to pack the court. They want to do anything to hurt our country. I think we should pack the court for what it's worth. Donald Trump also said this.
Starting point is 00:01:43 And might justify most, if not all, of the tariffs issued in this case. Even more tariffs, actually. Those statutes include, think of that. Those statutes include, for example, the Trade Expansion Act, of 1962, section 232, all of these things I know so well, the Trade Act of 1974, sections 122-201-3-01. So he's saying here, like, there's other things they can do to try to enforce tariffs, to place taxes on countries, but clearly, I mean, if you read the ruling, and I'm in
Starting point is 00:02:23 no lawyer, but they wrote it in plain English, that the Trump, Trump and any other president does not have the power to tax. The only branch in our government has the power to taxes, Congress. And so anything that Donald Trump tries to do at this point forward, that is levying a tax on either foreign nations or us is going to be ruled as illegal. Now, Donald Trump, I thought this was very like eerie. He said that he has the right to destroy countries. What license has ever been issued without the right to charge a fee?
Starting point is 00:02:58 You get a license, you charge your fee. It's automatic, but not with this court. But now the court has given me the unquestioned right to ban all sorts of things from coming into our country, to destroy foreign countries, but a much more powerful right than many people ever thought we even had, but not the right to charge a fee. How crazy is that?
Starting point is 00:03:21 I mean, he's actually not wrong. That is pretty crazy, that Donald Trump has the right to destroy a country, but he can't. I mean, I think he shouldn't be able to do either without Congress. I don't know how we've gotten to a point where Congress is just a side show when it comes to acts of war. But Donald Trump is not wrong that the president has way too much power when it comes to acts of war. And that's something we should probably maybe work on as a country. And he kept going saying that he is allowed to destroy countries.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Can't charge a dollar. I would have used one penny, but we don't make the pennies anymore. We save money. can't charge one dollar to any country under AEPA. Not one dollar, I assume, to protect other countries. This must have been done to protect those other countries. Certainly not the United States of America, which they should be interested in protecting. That's what they're supposed to be protecting. But I am allowed to cut off any and all trade or business with that same country. In other words, I can destroy the trade. I can destroy the country. I'm even,
Starting point is 00:04:26 allowed to impose a foreign country destroying embargo. I can embargo. I can do anything I want, but I can't charge $1 because that's not what it says. And that's not the way it even reads. I can do anything I want to do to them, but I can't charge any money. So I'm allowed to destroy the country, but I can't charge them a little fee. I could give them a little two cent fee, but I cannot charge under any circumstances. I cannot charge them anything. It's like watching a three-year-old that you've punished and the three-year-old just can't accept the fact that they've done something wrong
Starting point is 00:05:10 that they have to go into timeout. And they're trying to negotiate their way out of being in trouble and having to have some consequences. This is like the first, I mean, really, think about it. This is pretty remarkable because it is one of the first times where Donald Trump actually has faced some. sort of consequence or at least our government trying to temper his power, our government saying no to Donald Trump, when's the last time that happened? Doesn't happen very much. So Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:05:39 and Donald Trump really has lived a life where people just never say no to him. He can't handle a no, so he's really manufactured a life in which where people pretty much always say yes to him. And this is probably impossible for his 81-year-old pea brain, 80-year-old pea brain to process, that he doesn't get everything he wants. It's very satisfying. This is a very satisfying experience. Let's keep going. Donald Trump said there's going to be alternatives.
Starting point is 00:06:07 But other alternatives will now be used to replace the ones that the court incorrectly rejected. We have alternatives. Great alternatives. Could be more money. We'll take in more money. and will be a lot stronger for it. We're taking in hundreds of billions of dollars. We'll continue to do so.
Starting point is 00:06:26 To show you how ridiculous the opinion is, however, the court said that I'm not allowed to charge even $1. I can't charge $1. He just can't get over it. He can't get over it. And this is what I mean. Like, he really is, like, he's regressing to childhood. I was very modest in my ask of other countries and businesses
Starting point is 00:06:47 because I wanted to do, and it's very important. I want to be very well-behaved because I wanted to do anything. I didn't want to do anything that would affect the decision of the court because I understand the court. I understand how they are very easily swayed. I want to be a good boy. I want to be a good boy. I want to be a good boy. Donstrup also refused to take questions from CNN.
Starting point is 00:07:16 He's in such a. He's in such a furor, furor? Because he's in such a panic. No, you, you, please, please. I'm not, I'm not talking to you, I'm talking. I don't talk to CNN. It's fake news. Go ahead. Mr. President. Let's see what else there is. Donald Trump was asked about whether or not he's going to refund the money.
Starting point is 00:07:39 And here's what he said. Since Liberation Day, there's about $175 billion in tariff revenue that is now in limbo. Do you have to refund? $175 billion? Thank you, Peter. Very fair question. They take months and months to write an opinion,
Starting point is 00:07:55 and they don't even discuss that point. We've taken in hundreds of billions of dollars, not millions, hundreds of billions of dollars. And so I said, well, what happens to all the money that we took in? It wasn't discussed. Wouldn't you think they would have put one sentence
Starting point is 00:08:11 in there saying that, keep the money or don't keep the money, right? I guess it has to get litigated for the next two years. So they write this terrible defective decision, totally defective. It's almost like not written by smart people. And what they do, they don't even talk about that. Your question is very basic. That was the first question I asked also to make you feel good. And say, what about all the money that we've taken in? Sir, they don't discuss that. How crazy is that? I think what's going to happen is people are going to sue. I want to sue. Is there going to be a
Starting point is 00:08:45 loss? Is it going to be a civil suit? I'd like to. get in on that. I want my money back, bitch. Happy liberation day.
