All right, some big breaking news. The Trump administration alongside Israel have bombed Iran. We're told it's been a very devastating bombing. And I have a lot of news and updates to take you through. It is currently 2.30 in the morning here on the East Coast in New York City. And wherever you are, I hope you're safe. And I hope you are okay. But before we get into everything,

that's happened, let us just remember that Donald Trump ran on being the pro-peace president, the pro-peace ticket. They said that if Kamala Harris were to win, she's send your children a war. Donald Trump said, remember that I projected a long ago that President Obama will attack Iran just because of his inability to negotiate properly not skilled. Not skilled. Well, we know that Donald Trump likes to project. And let's just go through this content. Let's go through this content, shall we? Okay, I have a lot of tips for you. Okay. Lots of goodies. Lots of goodies. Okay. So, drop-site news first reported

this, at least they're the first ones I saw. Say it, say, breaking Israel launches three air strikes on Iran. Iran state affiliated FAR News Agency reports three explosions in downtown Tehran. Israel's defense minister, Israel Kat, says Israel has launched a preemptive attack on Iran. According to the times of Israel, Iran has repeatedly said diplomacy is the answer, has not threatened an attack on Israel. And there's some of the smoke plume. I have more that for you. I also want to just, like, read this for you from Tom Nichols. There's a difference between preventative attacks and preemptive. Preemptive attacks in both international law and historical traditions of war

are spoiling attacks meant to thwart an imminent attack in both tradition and law. This form of self-defense is perfectly defensible, similar to the principle and domestic law that when a person cocks a fist or pulls a gun, the intended victim does not need to stand there and wait to get punched or shot. to tax, which is what we're seeing here, have long been viewed in the international community as both illegal and immoral. History is full of ill-advised, preventative actions, including the Spartan invasion of Athens in the 5th century BC, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and the American War on Iraq, Iraq, in 2003. Sometimes such wars are the product of hubris, miscalculation,

or plain fear, but they all share the commentate that a choice was made to go to war based on a threat that was real, but not imminent. Let's keep that in mind as we go through more of this. Here's just the breaking news from CNN. We have major breaking news here into CNN. Israel has launched what it calls a preemptive strike on Iran. That news, just in from the defense minister of Israel, as a state of emergency was declared across the country of Israel. The government declared the state of emergency because of the

expectation of Iranian retaliation with drones and ballistic missiles. There's still a lot we do not yet know about this attack, but it comes as President Donald Trump has been considering a U.S. military action against Iran. Well, what we learned is that U.S. that U.S. engagement actually happened in this attack. Here's this. Actually, I believe that clip. That was the clip. Back to Jeremy Diamond now.

We've got new reporting here at CNN. We were wondering whether the U.S. and Israel coordinated on this attack, a source now telling CNN that, in fact, the U.S. and Israel coordinated on this attack. And so we have to wonder whether the U.S. will now be attacking next. Next, back to Germany. And in reply to this, Hassan Piker said, there's no shasing as a preemptive strike.

Israel is striking Iran in spite of the negotiations that Oman mediators try to publicize in the U.S. to avoid this exact outcome. Little do they know, Israel gets what it desires, even if it collapses the West. Someone else said, the war started Israel has pushed us into this asinine war. everything that goes wrong is on them.

America has had absolutely no interest in this war. Eight out of ten Americans are against it. No matter who we vote for, we get Israel in war. This is going to end in disaster. And Medi Hassan, actually, I thought, had a really good point here. He said, it's an illegal attack. There is no evidence Iran was about to strike Israel or about to acquire nukes. There is zero justification under international law for Israel bombing.

He actually won a step further. I believe this is on blue sky where he said, CNN reporting that strikes on Iran tonight are joint U.S. and Israeli strikes, which means Donald Trump should be impeached for a third time, which he is, what he has done tonight is illegal under the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. charter. Thomas Massey said something very similar

where he said something like this. Thomas Massey... Okay, I don't have that one. But Thomas Massey also said that there is no justification for this and that Donald Trump illegally did this. Congress is the only one who can declare war and act out acts of war. So let's keep going here. Dropsite news also had some video footage of the blast. And you can see here, the plumes rising out from the blast zone.

And there are some rumors that this was, that Israel targeted government buildings. I've got a couple of other pieces of information. This is now verified information that we can carry. The Israel Defense Minister, Katz announced that Israel launched a preemptive strike on Iran, and I quote, to remove threats to the state of Israel. He's declared a nationwide state of emergency. There have been explosions, as you can see over there in Tehran. sirens have sounded across Israel at this stage.

There is a full anticipation of a retaliation. That's what Iran does. They will likely respond with drones and missiles, ballistic missiles, because the ranges are considerable. Now, all of this has been confirmed by international sources, including Reuters, CNN, etc., etc., the Times of Israel, also reporting this. So, I don't know, we'll keep following this.

I do wonder what you think about it. Do you think that we should be going to war with Iran? Here's that Thomas Massey quote saying acts of war and authorized by Congress. The U.S. is attacking Iran according to AP. I mean, I guess my question to you is, what do you think about this? I kind of feel like regardless of the regime in Iran which is awful

there's a few things that happen one there was already a nuclear deal that Obama put in place and Iran agreed to and was following they were following it Donald Trump ripped it up

when he got into office the first time mainly because Donald Trump couldn't stand the fact that Obama had an accomplishment. And if Donald Trump could remove the accomplishment, he did even though if it made us all safer, or even though removing it made us less safe,

having it there made us safer. And we also know that Donald Trump ran on being America first. In what world is this America first? We want health care. We want the price of goods to go down. We want to be safer, better educated. We want consistent employment. We don't want to go into another war, another pointless war.

The only reason this war is happening is that BB Netanyahu knows the moment he's no longer a wartime president, he's going to go under trial. So there's absolutely no support for this. Donald Trump is an unpopular president doing a very unpopular thing. And I guess my question for you is, why? Why would he be doing this? And I guess one thing I can think about is the Epstein files. This might be a situation where Donald Trump is truly just trying to pull every trick of the he can out of the hat to make sure that the media is distracted. But we won't be distracted.
