Obama is back and Kamala Harris is pissed and they're both fighting for what you should probably know about by now, which is that it is election day on Tuesday. It's election day on Tuesday. If you're in California, you're voting whether or not they can redistrict to help fight against the what is really, really authoritarian takeover of Congress. So vote on election day if you're in California. And if you're in Virginia and Pennsylvania, you have really big elections coming up to. Obama is going to say more about all of this.

probably the most viral moment from Obama, where he said this to a crowdgoer. I love you, but hold on, I heard you, girl. Just, just settle down. I'm here to talk to everybody, not just you. I mean, you look cute, but I am married. Michelle's fine, too. I don't know, man, he still got his fastball. Obama was on it. He was on it. And I wanted to, You know, one thing we don't do enough. I mean, listen, there's not a lot of good news. We do like to laugh at the absurdity, but this is actually pretty good stuff. It gave me a sense of what is that old feeling?

What is that old feeling I used to know and love hope? Could it be hope? Could it be optimism? Here's some more. Obama kind of making a parody of what Republicans try to say is DEI. enriching their friends, silencing their critics, they put on a big show of deporting people and targeting transgender folks. They never miss a chance to scapegoat minorities and blame DEI for every problem under the sun. You got a flat tire? Must be DEI.

Your wife kicked you out? Dei. Who knew? All right. And then here is, now I, this is a little bit of a longer clip. I think it's worth playing it all. This gave me great comfort. This gave me great comfort because here is Obama saying what is happening in this country right now.

And I feel like, I feel like we suffer from a lack of leadership. We do have leaders, but I do think there aren't enough serious people actually defining what is happening in America. And here is Obama doing. doing just that. He's deploying the National Guard in American cities, claiming to stop crime waves that don't actually exist. We've got masked ice agents pulling up in unmarked vans and grabbing people, including U.S. citizens off the streets on the suspicion that they don't look like real Americans. We've got an HHS secretary who opposes proven science.

and promotes quack medicine, a top White House aide who calls Democrats, the whole party, domestic extremists. We've got some poor labor economists who got fired for accurately reporting bad jobs numbers that the president didn't like. I mean, it's like every day is Halloween, except it's all tricks and no treats. And it's good. What I like about that, too, is that Obama is telling us what's happening here. But the thing is, is he's not, he's not making us suffer by the weight of how serious it all is. He is allowing us to poke at the absurdity, which I think is so important.

It makes it feel more manageable. And here is another example of Donald Trump showing the absurdity and what's going on in our country right now. The fabricated conspiracies, the weird videos of a U.S. president with a crown on his head flying a fighter jet and dumping poop on American citizens, that's not even worth booing about. Because all of that is a distraction. All of it is designed to distract you from the fact that your situation. your life has not gotten better. They do it so you won't notice. At the same time that they're helping the wealthiest, most powerful people in the country,

consolidate more wealth and more power. Your bills are still going up. You're waiting longer at airports because there aren't enough air traffic controllers. The program that helps your kid with special needs, just got gutted. They are hoping you don't notice that. But the good news, the good news, good news, is there something you can do about in New Jersey? Right here, right now. You've got a candidate for governor who's a proven fighter, who's got a track record of getting stuff done, somebody who sees you

and knows your struggles and will work for you every single day. New Jersey is time to point America in a better direction by electing. Mikey Sherrill as your next governor. That was awesome. That was kind of awesome. I like that. That made me emotional. It just was like, all right, yeah.

Like, we can do this. We can vote. It's nice to see Obama not scared to be political because I think, I don't know how you're feeling. I've been feeling like, God, can we even have elections again? It looks like we're going to have one. It looks like it's going to be free and fair. Very exciting stuff.

All right, I'm going to end with this. Kamala Harris was in California, where she warned about what Donald Trump is doing to the Constitution and what we can do about it. I'll leave you with that.
