Starting point is 00:00:00 Donald Trump moments ago held a press conference where he announced something he really wasn't supposed to, the clear sign of dementia from the President of the United States. And he won't stop talking about, he's talking about anything but this war. And I think it's frankly offensive to things that he's deciding to spend his time talking to the public about. And before we get to that, I want to first just check in on Benny Johnson. Benny Johnson, how's it going? Yo, Brandon, what up, G? I don't think that you... Yo, Brandon, what up, G? Yo, Brandon, what up, G?
Starting point is 00:00:38 Perfect. All right. And speaking of Benny Johnson at the press conference, Donald Trump said this. You really are. You did a great job. He was a little rough with a couple of the people, but that's okay. They've survived. Some of the artistic artists, they took a pounding from Rick.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Perfect. Now, as I said, Donald Trump is throwing us into war. prices are rising. The Epstein files are being hidden. And here's what the president is focused on. I said, let's run it for a year just to see how it works. It's better than you can't just go into something, try and figure it out. And we figured it out over the year. And you have to close it, putting new marbles in, beautiful, beautiful marbles. When you do marbles, you can't have people walking over the marble every night as it's drying and setting and going to a play. So we focused on marble. The President of the States is focused on marble when members of our military are dying because of an illegal war that he started. He's focused on marble. He didn't stop there. Donald Trump went on a minute and a half rant about his ballroom.
Starting point is 00:01:50 For specific reasons we have uh look at mark johnson he's like what the fuck is this old man talking about a magnificent ballroom being built because this is the biggest room and it holds like 98 people for dinner, but behind me, you're going to have a ballroom that's going to, that this building and the people occupying it in particular, every president for 150 years, has clamored for a ballroom, a large, beautiful room. Just watch him. Watch him. It's literally like, it's like he is the son of the parent who is at the old home and he's doing his visit.
Starting point is 00:02:31 This is a cocktail room. And this will actually be. This whole floor will end up being a cocktail room for the cocktail area or pre-area for the ballroom before dinners. So we'll have heads of state. We can't even do a heads of state dinner. Usually what they do is they would do them on the lawn with a tent. But when it rains, the lawn is very low. And you know the 25th Amendment, anyone?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Anyone? I think it's time. He didn't. I mean, he kept going on. Talking about buildings. Those little theaters, nobody's going to use them. They want the big halls. The halls are going to be incredible.
Starting point is 00:03:11 They're in bad shape. But when they're completed, the bones are potentially something that could be unbelievable. So I want to, before we begin, I want to thank Rick. Really, really, really great stuff. Do you mind if I keep going because he did? He also talked about paint. And the color is white, shiny white, and it looks. A lot of people have commented it looks so much better.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Before they had the steel painted gold, and the gold was very cheap. There's actually never been a paint that's made that will look like gold. Steve will tell you that. You can't, you either gold leaf it or use real gold bullion or you use a different color, Steve. Nobody's ever been able to make a gold paint that looks real. Little minor thing for the media, I'm sure you're thrilled with hearing that. but there's never been a paint. I said someday I'm going to discover a paint
Starting point is 00:04:08 where you don't have to actually use gold leaf. Gold leaf is a very, very big and expensive process, but it's a beautiful thing, but not when you use paint. So we got rid of the gold columns, which looked always terrible. I just don't even... The president also confused the daily wire with CNN. Trump Kennedy Center. Okay, yes, please. CNN.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Hey, yeah, yeah. Thank you, Mr. President. I'm not CNN. I'm Daily Wire, but thank you. Great. Again, any one of these things, just anyone, would have been grounds for impeachment, according to the Republicans, if it were Democrat in power. But it's Donald Trump, so for whatever reason, it's fine. Now, Donald Trump also, now, this is actually truly a sign of dementia when you say things you know you're not supposed to say, but you flirt them out anyways.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Donald Trump made public something that wasn't meant to be, that a member of Congress is actively dying. We had one man who was very ill that looked like he wasn't going to make it. I don't know. I won't mention his name. Should I? Do other people know his name? Do you want to mention it? He'll be proud.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Go ahead. Tell him this. Sorry. Okay. Well, thank you, Mr. President. Congressman Neil Dunn of Florida had had some real health challenges, and it was very serious and had had a pretty grim diagnosis. And I mentioned it to the president. And I said, Congressman Donne is a real champion and a patriot because he's still coming to work. And if
Starting point is 00:05:45 others got this diagnosis, they would be apt to go home and retire. What was the diagnosis? It was, I mean, I think it was a terminal diagnosis. He would be dead by June. Okay, that wasn't public. But yeah, okay. It was grim. Announcing someone's dying when you're not supposed to. All right. Now, Donald Trump also said this about Iran. Our powerful military campaign to end the threats posed by the Iranian regime continued in full force over the past few days.
Starting point is 00:06:19 They have been literally obliterated. Now, again, like, I guess, like, shouldn't words matter? Because literally obliterated would mean there's no more Iran or that the regime is no longer in power. That's not the case. In fact, the regime is very much so fighting back. They put into power someone who the United States wasn't a fan of and is no fan of the United States.
Starting point is 00:06:48 And it is a sign that this war is going to be going on much longer than they anticipated. They were hoping it was going to be a one and done, kind of like Venezuela that hasn't been the case. Iran is fighting back. Now, what they weren't expecting was they were going to fight back. They thought they were going to fight back. fire with fire, they're actually fighting back economically with a straight of moose. So I don't know how we get out of this, but I'm telling you what, the way you get out of it is not through the President of United States, who clearly has some sort of mental problem.
Starting point is 00:07:21 We didn't need them before we started dig we must. That's the Trump policy of lots of oil. Dig we must, dig me must. That's the Trump policy slurring. We didn't need him before. Before we started, a dig we must. A dig me was, that's the Trump policy of lots of oil. And with this, this is a disaster. It's a disaster for multiple reasons. One, we're less safe than we are today. And two, things just cost more.
Starting point is 00:07:49 When the President of the States was put into office to help make life cheaper for Americans, that's just not what happened. In fact, it's been the total opposite. So I'll leave you with that. Thank you for watching. And I'll see you next time. Bye. And this means higher gas prices for Americans.
Starting point is 00:08:07 As you mentioned, the national average today, 372. Well, if I remember speaking to you from a gas station in New Jersey just on Friday, when the national average was 363. And just look at where it's come from a month ago, up over 72 cents. If you look at diesel, though, diesel fuel, that's seeing an even higher spike and a faster spike in prices. Up $1.24 from when the war started just a few weeks ago, diesel price is reaching almost $5 a gallon.
Starting point is 00:08:36 And that is critical for actually a lot of drivers that I spoke to in New Jersey who say they use their trucks for their personal work vehicles. And think about all the major trucking lines that use diesel fuel. That is going to have a trickle down effect to everyday items for Americans. Think about all the food, the perishable food that comes in on truck. You're talking about dairy, meat, produce, things that have to come in regularly. shipping for everyday products from Amazon, from Macy's, Barnes & Noble, wherever you may be ordering something, that's coming in on a truck. So those costs going up, of course, fuel at the pump and jet fuel, which is why some economists are suggesting that airfares could rise in the next couple weeks to months.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Also worth noting, where are things going right now? How high could this go? Well, according to Patrick DeHan at GasBuddy this morning telling me that gas prices, This week alone could rise up to another 10 cents. And there's that diesel critical for shipping companies rising maybe five to 10 cents this week alone. Of course, why?
