The Keith Edwards Show - Trump STRUGGLES TO SPEAK... Then PASSES OUT

Episode Date: July 5, 2026

Keith Edwards reacts to the absolute humiliation capping off the nation's 250th anniversary, breaking down the historic visual of Donald Trump fast asleep while 850,000 fireworks exploded directly... overhead. Keith exposes the pure irony of a commander-in-chief who just delivered an unhinged political lecture, only to slump forward in total physical exhaustion while the Secret Service frantically tries to block the cameras from catching the commander-in-chief completely checked out.Help us flip the House at: https://keithscheatsheet.comListen to the show on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1chmgsT4aUJPmFlyGXIDGNBecome a Member: https://www.youtube.com/@keithedwards/joinSubscribe to my Substack: http://keithedwards.substack.comHelp Save Democracy, Buy a Hat: https://keithsdebateclub.com/products/democracy-hatCall me and ask a question or leave a comment: ‪(202) 810-4379‬Follow me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thekeithedwardsshow/Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/keithedwards/Follow me on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@keithedwardsFollow me on X: http://twitter.com/keithedwardsFollow me on Threads: https://www.threads.net/@keithedwardsFollow me on BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/keithedwards.bsky.social

Starting point is 00:01:01 Well, Donald Trump gave a speech. It was, as you could imagine, terrible, sweaty. frantic, a lot of glitching out. This man obviously should not be doing a lot past, let's say, 6 p.m. And he really could not string two sentences together. And the mother, mother effort fell asleep. He fell asleep. Grandpa couldn't even stay up for the 250th birthday of our nation. Here's Donald Trump doing some of his greatest hits talking about Venezuela and wiping out. I mean. You look at Venezuela, you look at Iran, we wiped it out, wiped out their military. Happy 250th birthday. Wow, really putting things into perspective.
Starting point is 00:01:47 This certainly will go down on the history book. Donald Trump also glitching out heavily, talked about the need for voter ID. What the hell does this have to do with our birthday? You hear that? All of Motors? I mean, obviously there's something there that's no longer clicking. Perhaps there was something there. Perhaps there was never something there before.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Perhaps there was something there, but whatever was there is no longer there anymore. I'm tired to, can you tell? It's been a long day. It's been a long day. And Donald Trump here, seeing, meaning to say immortal, says immortal. We also have the flag that was given to that immortal, just a fantastic, immortal, rough rider. Come on, everyone. Come on.
Starting point is 00:03:02 With us tonight to celebrate this forward march of freedom is another Medal of Honor recipient. Colonel Paris Davis, whose courage won eternal glory in Vietnam. He helped lead a surprise attack on 100 enemy combatants. They said he was finished. His whole group was finished. And despite multiple... So I want to say, like, during his speech, he brought out a lot of veterans. some of whom were quite old.
Starting point is 00:03:33 And someone pointed out that all of the parents of these people who were heroes in wars that we fought were foreign-born. So Donald Trump, the nationalist, brought up folks who would not be here, if not for immigration, who were American heroes, our American heroes. And here is Donald Trump, again, glitching out. And he became the first African American to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor. He got the Congressional Medal of Honor. What's really interesting about these is each time I show you a glitch, you can tell that Donald Trump knows that he misspoke.
Starting point is 00:04:20 And so then he corrects it. So you can tell that he's not meaning to misspeak. He can't control it. There's something there. He became the first African American to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor. He got the Congressional Medal of Honor. His own mind is betraying him. This is a nasty ice glitch here.
Starting point is 00:04:42 You're very special people. And we have a very special country. Thank you very much. Tonight we come together for one of the most joyous and glorious bile zones of all time. And you know what that is, 250th anniversary. and I do have to sit zones of all time, and you know what that is, 250, the 200 miles zones of all time,
Starting point is 00:05:09 the toll, and you know what that is. It's like, well, that didn't keep Donald Trump awake because here was one image of Trump barely hanging on. Barely hanging on. Melania knows. Melania looking more and more
Starting point is 00:05:29 like herself. I'll say. Okay. Donald Trump literally doing his best he can to hang on. His eyes barely open as we celebrated our 250th year. And then of course,
Starting point is 00:05:46 he couldn't stay on for much longer. And he literally did. I'm going to show you here right now. Fell asleep. Visit BetMGM Casino and check out the newest exclusive. The price. This is right fortune pick.

Starting point is 00:07:11 That is sleeping. And I don't blame him. He's 80. He's 80. But that plus, all of this glitching out to me is a sign that there's something super wrong with the president. Now, I didn't expect a lot. It's sad that we don't even have high expectations for our president anymore, but this is so much worse than even I expect it. The glorious bile zones of all time, detour.
Starting point is 00:07:35 And you know what that. He vanquished fascism, Americans stood against the evil of communism in the Cold War. And as I said last night at the beautiful Mount Rushmore, what a beautiful place, where Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt loomed over my shoulder, as I spoke. America will never be a communist country. Won't happen. Communism is a loser, and it always will be the communist system. is the opposite of the American system
Starting point is 00:08:13 and the communist system has never worked? I just feel like when... I mean, I just... I guess because it just wasn't that good of a speech that when were historians ever call back on this? I kind of think, like, if I were president for moments like this,
Starting point is 00:08:33 you'd be trying to like... You might fail at it, but you'd be trying to create the speech. The thing that's... stands the test of time. And yet we get this like rally slop that he always does. There's just nothing profound about it. There's nothing forward looking. There's nothing about it that is trying to contextualize what it might mean 250 years today, what we could look like in 250 years from now. Nothing like that.
Starting point is 00:09:09 It's just, it's just rally slop. Our warriors did not fight communism on battlefields across the world, only to have that menace rear its ugly head. The stars and stripes cast the hammer and sickle into oblivion before, and we will do it again if necessary. I don't think it's going to be necessary. I think people have learned. they've learned what to do and how to handle it and we've learned what to do and how to handle it really
Starting point is 00:09:43 really calling upon our better angels right down the Trump also lied about the size of his the size of his crowd of course and they estimated they had 375,000 people before everybody had to leave and they now have 150,000 people it's the craziest thing anyone's ever seen That is, of course, a lie. Donald Trump also glitched out when bringing up Artemis, calling it NASA. So tonight we're joined by that crew of NASA. Artemis, you know, you know the crew, everybody. Come on, everyone. Come on.
Starting point is 00:10:38 We rebuilt our military in my first term. We used it a little bit in our... Actually, I should say third term, but I won't... don't do that because I don't want any controversy. But we use it and we've had tremendous success. You look at Venezuela. Man, it's just like the desecration. The desecration of this country.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Happy 250th birthday. I hope you actually did something to celebrate and if you didn't, that's okay too. I wore my little outfit. That's all I did. And I feel like I celebrated it with you. This has been a fun day. This is one of those days. you know, I wasn't expecting, you know, wasn't sure what it be. But I'm glad we got to spend it
Starting point is 00:11:25 together. It's been fun. It could have been boring. And at least it wasn't boring. And I suppose maybe that's the best we can hope for. And at least it wasn't totally awful. For us, we didn't go to that stupid fireworks display. So we didn't have to deal with all that chaos. Well, anyways, thank you. I'm going to go to bed. And I'll see you soon. Thank you.
