Starting point is 00:00:00 There's a pretty big breaking news. Tucker Carlson has come out against Donald Trump in a really big way. Kind of using Christianity against Trump in a way that I don't think many other people can in a way that's actually believable. And Alex Jones has called for the 25th Amendment against Donald Trump. And this is all happening when we are supposedly less than 24 hours away from Donald Trump doing something in Iran unless he tacos out and moves the goalposts again. But Tucker Carlson here is alleging that Donald Trump is going to use an atomic weapon in Iran. Let's just say that one more time. Tucker Carlson, who knows Donald Trump very well, is alleging that the president of the United States is going to use an atomic weapon.
Starting point is 00:01:00 in the Middle East. That's why Alex Jones is calling for the 25th Amendment. Here is Tucker Carlson, again, I think weaponizing Christianity against Trump in a way that is actually very effective. Maybe some did, but certainly the leaders of the American Christian churches, by and large, said absolutely nothing.
Starting point is 00:01:24 And maybe because they said nothing, this accelerated. these are the same people sort of didn't notice somehow that on inauguration day, the president did not take his oath of office with his hand on the Bible. His wife stood next to him holding it. I was about 15 feet away and saw it, but he did not put his hand on the Bible. And that should have been maybe a clue that we need to pause and think about what is this. Why wouldn't you put your hand on the Bible?
Starting point is 00:01:57 If you don't believe in the Bible, you think, it's just a book. There's no cost to you to putting your hand on it, just kind of following the protocol, going along with the tradition. All presidents do it. Why aren't you doing it? And you're not doing it intentionally.
Starting point is 00:02:12 You're choosing not to put your hand on the Bible when you take that oath. That suggests not that you don't believe it's real, because if you didn't believe it was real, why would you care? You'd put on the costume and take it off. It doesn't matter. That suggests you know it is real,
Starting point is 00:02:28 and you're rejecting it. intentionally, you know what you're doing, and you're doing it anyway. But nobody asked questions about that either. It seemed kind of inappropriate, given the celebration that in progress, to ask, why wouldn't you put your hand on the Bible when you take... For the record, we pointed that out multiple times. I actually have a video that alleges that Donald Trump is more like what the Bible describes as the Antichrist than anyone else.
Starting point is 00:02:57 So we very much so focused on that. but I'm glad Tucker Carlson's catching up. You take the oath of office to lead our nation. But pretty much nobody did. I didn't. I'll admit that. I saw it and didn't say one word. Bothered me ever since.
Starting point is 00:03:13 But right around January 4th, it became clear that maybe he didn't put his hand on the Bible because he affirmatively rejects what's inside that book and what's inside that book are limits on human behavior. Because if there's one theme, that spans all 66 books in the Christian Bible, it's that you are not God. And you cannot assume his powers.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Because you don't have them. You may convince yourself if you have them. You may want them. You may have been promised them. But in the end, they're not yours, and you'll never have them. And you can only destroy yourself and the people around you by pretending that you do.
Starting point is 00:03:51 That is the consistent message that spans from Genesis to Revelation. And people who ignore that law are punished, just like people who ignore gravity or freezing temperatures are punished because these are laws that are not created by people. They supersede people. Compelling. Am I the only one thinking that's compelling?
Starting point is 00:04:16 I don't know why Democrats don't talk like this. I'm glad someone is. I hate that it's Tucker Carlson. But I do think that this kind of rhetoric used against Donald Trump pierces through something that is hard to puncture. Maga really does think that Donald Trump is infallible. They do think that he is a Christ-like figure, who is some sort of Messiah,
Starting point is 00:04:50 who has avoided death multiple times, who has risen up, not from death, but through the ashes of his own destruction. And Maga, for some reason, sees something, as Godlike. And I do think that level or that kind of line of questioning and looking at him objectively from someone like Tucker Carlson is very effective. It's going super viral right now.
Starting point is 00:05:20 He also warned about in the same video about the use of nuclear weapons. Conventional airstrikes will not. open the straight for very obvious reasons. You can close it with mines. So if you reach the end of your conventional power, where does that leave you? Oh, with non-conventional power. What's that a euphemism for? Nuclear weapons. And the effects of that hardly need to be explained. Well, they can't be fully known because modern nuclear weapons have never been used. But you can just draw obvious conclusions like life in Iran not possible so you wipe out a country of 92 million people what about directly across the Persian Gulf what about the seven other countries all of them allies of the
Starting point is 00:06:16 United States the biggest oil producing countries in the world could you live there or with a hundred odd million people live in those countries maybe not possible for them either would a nuclear strike be followed by peace probably not the U.S. isn't the only country in the world with nuclear weapons. You could have a global nuclear war. That's why we haven't used nuclear weapons in 80 years. No one has. Because you don't know where it goes from there.
Starting point is 00:06:41 This is insane. Okay? This is insane. Tucker Carlson also in that same video just tried reaching the folks who are near Donald Trump saying that what he's about to do could change the course of history and couldn't endanger all of us. I can't believe we're at this point. I guess I can believe that we're at this point in one way because we knew this is going to happen. We knew that a Trump 2.0 would be unhinged, untethered, and feel unbound by any restrictions that any normal person would feel
Starting point is 00:07:28 because he's not mentally sound. He's a narcissist, he's a sociopath, and by the the way his brain is dementing. So I hope this appeal from Tucker Carlson is heard from someone in the Trump White House that understands the severity of what Donald Trump is alleging he'll do. Because there's no going back after you do that. And anyone who works or helps to make something like that happen should really think about what they're doing and should really question whether or not they want to go along with it. Everyone has a choice. People in the military can say no to unlawful orders. I would say dropping a nuke on Iran would be an unlawful order. It would be a war crime. And you could say, hey, make someone else do it. I'm not doing it.
Starting point is 00:08:31 that's why Alex Jones is out here making MAGA mad because everyone knows we don't anyone with any sense knows that there's a reason why we've never used atomic weapons but once
Starting point is 00:08:53 because it's an ultimate destruction you don't know where it leads and the fact that Donald Trump is even playing a wrong with that alleging it toying with the idea, dangling in front of the entire world, isn't itself destructive. And that's why the 25th Amendment, I agree with Alex Jones, should absolutely be invoked.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Perit to existential threat. How do we 25th Amendment is asked? The problem is to get the 25th Amendment, it's harder than impeachment. You have to get two-thirds of the House and two-thirds of the Senate to the Senate to the government. Tackle Trump and pretend, let him pretend he's president and publicly report that he's going through a health issue and Vance takeover. It literally needs to be something like that. It's that bad.
Starting point is 00:09:37 I've known in a long time. You've never called for an internal coup before. Ever, ever, ever. But that's how dangerous this is. That's how risky it is for the whole world. If I was the Democrats, I'd stop poking Trump and messing with. That only makes it worse. You guys need to watch out.
Starting point is 00:09:51 This isn't a guy acting like he's crazy. This is real. Well, what's there going to be to take over in 2026 or 2028 if this hits the fan? If we get to the, he's threatening. an extinction level event for the people of Iran tomorrow. Do nobody think there'll be any blowback from that? If he follows through on that, the whole world is screwed. You were saying during the break.
Starting point is 00:10:11 There's other ways to do this. People need to just, not just telling the truth, like Susie Wals said, it's time to just not, I mean, say what you just said. Yeah, well, legally and constitutionally, the vice president is an independent elected official. The same is legally and constitutionally, the only oath any member of the military takes, any member the State Department takes, any member of the intelligence community.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Okay. So, there you go. That's how bad things are, that Alex Jones is making sense. Tucker Carlson is talking with moral authority. I'm hoping someone in this Trump White House is listening and paying attention. It feels as though, however, that Donald Trump is not listening to anyone, but himself. Donald Trump has very often said
Starting point is 00:11:05 he doesn't understand why we have nukes if we don't use them. Donald Trump has done many things. He's broken norms. He loves to break norms. He showed up at the Supreme Court this past week. It's never happened before, the sitting president listening to the Supreme Court in person. So I would not put it past him to do it.
Starting point is 00:11:29 one, because he's curious about it. Two, makes him feel powerful. And three, I think he doesn't mind that he'd be the first one to do it in 80 years. Terrifying. Terrifying. I wish I had a solution for you. There is no solution. We just have to pray.
Starting point is 00:11:47 You have to pray. That's it. And hope that Donald Trump is doing what he has quite often done, which is dangling a stick in front of us, dangling a carrot in front of us, leading us to nowhere. And hopefully, cooler heads will prevail. But this is truly upsetting. It's terrifying. And yeah, if you're feeling that way too, I totally understand how you're feeling.
Starting point is 00:12:19 But we will know. We will know. And I hope, I mean, I know no one from the White House is watching this. but I hope they are paying attention to this stuff because there's no world in which doing what Donald Trump wants to do is going to make us any safer. In fact, it will automatically change.
Starting point is 00:12:42 It'll destroy the economy. It'll make us less safe. It'll kill millions of people, make millions more sick. I can't believe we're talking about it. I actually can't believe this is something we're actively discussing. and
Starting point is 00:13:00 I say it could potential that's going to happen. Terrifying. Terrifying. See you soon.
