The top GOP official has literally just resigned posting his resignation on X. And it wasn't over Donald Trump's lie about lowering prices when he actually raised them through tariffs and through this war. It wasn't through Donald Trump's protection of pedophiles as he does everything he can to stop the Epstein files from coming out. No? It was over the Iran war. And we're seeing that this fissure happening with MAGA, Donald Trump's base, and which, the Republicans are heading is not going away anytime soon. This is the latest disruption. Let's go right into what this man is saying. His name is Joe Kent, and he is in the

Counterterrorism Department of the White House. And he said this. He said, I cannot. He said, after much reflection, I have decided to resign for my position as Director of National Counterterrorism center effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed, this is crazy. He's literally saying the thing. Iran posed no imminent

threat and he also says that it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from the Israel and its powerful American lobby. It's been an honor serving under Donald Trump and Tulsi Gabbard. That probably is a

lie. He also says, and may God bless America. Okay. Now, let's go into a bit of this statement here, where he says this. He says, I support the values and the foreign policies that you campaigned on in 2016 and 2020 and 2024, which you enacted in your first term, until June of 2025, you understood that wars in the Middle East were a trap that robbed America of the precious lives or of our patriots. and depleted the wealth and prosperity of our nation. In your first administration, you understood better than any modern president

how to decisively apply military power without getting us drawn into never-ending wars. You demonstrated this by killing Qasem Soleimani and by defeating ISIS. Earlier in this administration, higher-ranking Israeli officials and influential members of the American media deployed a misinformation campaign that wholly undermined your America first platform and sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran. This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States and that you should strike now.

There was a clearer path to swift victory that was a lie in this, and it is the same tactic that Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq war that cost us our nation, the lives of thousands of our best men and women. We cannot make that mistake again. As a veteran who deployed to combat 11 times, and as a gold star husband who lost my beloved wife, in a war manufactured by Israel, I cannot support sending the next generation off to fight and die in a war that serves to benefit the American people, nor justifies the cost of American lives.

I pray that you will reflect upon what we are doing in Iran and who we are doing it for. The time for bold action is now you can reverse course, you hold the cards. It was an honor to serve you. Okay. So this is, by the way, this is a very, I mean, maybe goes without saying, but this is a very big deal. this is a very big deal. The fact that Donald Trump's own top official is leaving over this war and he's doing it in such a provocative way is going to definitely send some shivers up the back of MAG officials and

certainly through Donald Trump and his administration. I mean, I've got to wonder, what is J.D. Vance thinking right now? J.D. Vance has, for better or for worst, he has been on his knees with his mouth open, taking whatever slop Donald Trump will hand him. And this is just the latest sign that there is definitely going to be a fight over the future

of what it means to be MAGA. And we are seeing it playing out right now. Let's go to Mark Caputo here who has some reporting on Trump World. This is a text. Note, not a peep from former NSC officials who were dismissed last year, stayed loyal to POTUS admission.

When the isolationist right officials leave, they bitch and whine publicly. Okay. So they're being a little bit, I guess you wouldn't be surprised to know that they don't like this. All right. And this is a top Trump advisor and former White House Chief of SEPA. Taylor Bodewich. Buttawitch. Joe Kent.

Oh, my God. Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who is often at the center of national security leagues while rarely never producing any actual work. He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the president in the United States. This isn't some principled resignation. He just wanted to make a splash before getting canned with a loser. Okay, I think we're seeing.

That actually is a pretty good narrative that probably threw out here is like, Joe Kent was already going to get fired. He's just quitting before we could fire him. That is compelling. I think the MAGA people will eat that up. Now, there have been, the responses on the right have been all over the place. Patrick Webb said, huge respect to you, Joe, for coming to this realization, the history books will be kind to you. Another MAGA commentator, Cheryl Ann, said, Gold Star wife here. My husband didn't die for Israel.

he died because this war has been targeting Americans for decades long before most people ever started paying attention we didn't suddenly stumble into this because of Israel our service members have been in the crosshairs of rainian back terror networks for years that's reality families like my name have lived with so spare me the talking point this is israel's war some of us have already paid for an American blood okay so you can see on the other side here that someone else totally disagrees with his POV Rep Don Bacon. There's your face in your name. Good riddance.

Iran has murdered more than a thousand Americans. Their EFP landmines were the deadliest in Iraq. Anti-Semitism is an evil, I detest, and we surely don't want it in our government. Is this anti-Semitism? I didn't see any. He's just saying Israel has been forcing our hand. I mean, Marco Rubio literally admitted that, that we're doing this. because Israel told us to.

And that brings us to the fact that, oh, actually, Tim Kast, Tim Poole said this. The MAGA Coalition is shattered. Trump can say, I am MAGA all he wants, and it may be true, but law support means MAGA is meaningless. That's what I'm saying. I like that. I like, oh my God, I'm not reading all that. I'm not reading all that.

This is Laura Lumer. basically she's saying that basically she's just saying that she always knew that Joe Kent was a leaker and she's been right all along very Trumpian let us go to

this there's a lot of people who are just mad but let's go to this because this is I think the prevail like this is what Megan Kelly we talked about this other day Megyn Kelly is finally starting to push back on Trump. And we're seeing the Fisher now.

I think Iran war is going to be a big one, perhaps not in the midterms. Maybe, maybe in the midterms, but definitely the presidential election on the Republican side and on the left. And we're seeing that bubble up here on the right where folks are starting to point fingers about who is and isn't MAGA, who does and doesn't support Trump. Let's just listen to a bit of this. Too damn obvious what you're doing. Yes, it's Mark Levin's war. Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro work together to trick Donald Trump. It's just, it's grotesque and boring and dumb.

Say Donald Trump's name. If you've officially turned on Donald Trump, go ahead and say it. I trust Donald Trump. You don't and you think he's been bamboozled into this war, and that means J.D. has been bamboozled and Marco Rubio and Pete Hagseth and everybody by Mark Levine and fast-talking Ben Shapiro. But this was interesting. This is from Zeneb Rubuah, who's a researcher at the Hudson Institute, and it's from a paper in 1988.

Trump, I'd be very harsh on Iran. They've been beating us psychologically, making us look like a bunch of fools. One bullet shot at one of our menorships, and I'd do a number on Karg Island. I'd go in and take it. Iran can't even beat Iraq, yet they push the United States around. It'd be good for the world to take them on. Can you guys quickly check the headlines on Karg Island? Because it looks like we are making some move there, and that is where a huge amount of the oil is exported.

But the point is, Donald Trump has been ridiculously consistent on all of this stuff. So, Megan, have the balls to say you don't support Donald Trump or that you think he's a puppet. Like, go ahead and fully say what you're... I mean, he hasn't been consistent on this at all. He has said that he wants no new wars, period. That's what he said. Sure, maybe he's always had a P.O.B on Iran. I don't think Donald Trump is very knowledgeable any of this.

I think he's a very ignorant individual, but he did win on saying no new wars in the Middle East. And he's not doing that. I think MAGA has the right to be very upset. And I say, let them fight. I am team, let them fight. If they are going to fight each other, good. Let them do it.

Let them duke it out. May the worst person win. Wait, maybe not. But let them all lose. Let them all lose. I'm team. Let them lose. And I'll see you.
