Donald Trump is going to try to take control of our elections.
We're seeing that now through what activists are proposing to him.
We're seeing it in the way that he talks about our elections and let us remember that not just a month ago, Tulsi Gabbard, along with the FBI, raided the Fulton County election offices and took the ballots.
Okay? So here is just a bit of background in that case you didn't know.
Tulsi Gabbard was recently present when the FBI searched a warehouse in Fulton County, Georgia to seize ballots.
This is America.
From the 2020 election there, the affidavit submitted to obtain the search warrant.
However, did not allege foreign interference.
Her office also examined voting machines used in Puerto Rico looking for cybersecurity vulnerabilities
and coordination with the FBI and Department of Justice and Homeland Security,
according to a spokesperson for the office of the Director of National Intelligence.
That inquiry was first reported by Reuters.
All right.
So the FBI and Tulsi Gabbard, which, by the way,
Tulsi Gabbard is supposed to be spying on other countries.
It's actually against the law for her to be doing that in our country, spying on us.
But the FBI and Tulsi Gabbard, looking and meddling in previous elections,
it looks like could be to create the pretext for what Trump is going to do,
which is declare a national emergency so he can take over our elections.
Here's a little bit about that.
Now, why I'm bringing this up is because Donald Trump was actually asked about this.
But before we get to that, I want to tell you what the plan is.
Pro-Trump activists who say they are in coordination with the White House
are circulating a 17-page draft executive order that claims China interfered
with the 2020 election as a basis to declare a national emergency
that would unlock extraordinary presidential power over voting.
quote, under the Constitution, it's the legislatures and states that really control how the state conduct
elections, and the president doesn't have any power. This is according to the draft order.
But here we have a situation where the president is aware that there are foreign interests that are
interfering in our election processes. That causes a national emergency where the president has to be
able to deal with it. Okay. So, that's all a lie. The Constitution does not have an asterisk.
Okay? This is all made-up junk what they're talking about here. Donald Trump could say the sky is
Pink, write that executive order. Doesn't matter. That's not true. It's the same thing with this.
It's like Donald Trump could write this executive order. It doesn't matter. It's going to be challenged.
And then like most of his illegal orders and most of the illegal things he does, it'll get thrown out of court.
Goes on to say that Trump is pressuring Republicans to pass legislation to require proof of citizenship for voter registration and ID to cast ballots.
The measure called the Save America Act passed the House but faces obstacles in the Senate where Republican
leaders have rejected Trump's demand to change the chamber's rules to move the legislature.
forward because you need 60 votes in order for that legislation to pass that
legislation as it says here has really stalled in the Senate all right so
Donald Trump was actually asked about this and here's what he had to say
are you looking at that are you considering are you
are you considering declaring a national emergency around the military
elections who told you that there's been reporting that there's an
executive order are you looking at that he's
He says no. Okay, well, I trust the Washington Post over Donald Trump all day, every day,
even though the Washington Post is owned by a billionaire oligarch. I still trust it over Donald Trump.
Donald Trump was also asked about the fact that Governor Pritzker said on social media that
Donald Trump is planning to steal the midterm elections. And here's what he had to say.
You're planning to steal the 2026 midterm elections. In fact, he says the plan is already underway.
How does he sound the governor Pristaker? Well, he's got to focus.
crime in his state. The crime imminent state's doing very badly. If we went and took care of it,
what we do just like Washington, D.C., we have no crime. Memphis. We just...
I guess, like, what I want to point out here is he's asked a very serious question.
He doesn't say no. He doesn't say no. I kind of think if you're asked, are you planning to steal the
election? You say, no, of course not. That's a ridiculous question. He can't do that.
Now, that's why it's very strange to me or worrying that in a rally moments ago, Donald Trump said this.
From voting in our sacred American elections.
We don't want people that aren't citizens of our country voting.
We don't want people that aren't studied and we don't want people that can't love our country voting in our election.
So it's very simple.
We don't want people who can't love our country voting in elections.
That's like, like, I know, I know we're so used to everything.
thing, but that's not normal. Who can and can't vote in our elections is crystal clear in our
Constitution. One of the things it doesn't say is, if you don't love our country, you can't vote.
And that's not the only thing he said today. With all this swirling around, he also threw
out throughout the idea of another term.
Line flies. Line flies. Maybe we should, maybe we do one more term. Should we do one more
term? One more term. Well, we're entitled to it.
because they cheated like hell in the second.
We would actually be entitled to it.
So these are all small building blocks, in my opinion,
where you can kind of see it starting to form.
Donald Trump is going to say that a foreign country meddled in our election.
He is then going to say, because of that,
he needs vast powers to control statewide elections.
This might happen in the midterms.
It might happen in normal terms.
November of 2028. Then I do believe that there is going to be a moment two years from now where Donald
Trump is going to try to persuade the American public why the 2020 election was stolen and how
because it was stolen, he's actually owed one more term. To me, like I'm saying it out loud,
it sounds insane, but I actually think the insane thing right now would be to not take this seriously.
I've made this analogy before. I'm going to say it one more time.
I'm going to keep saying because I think it's actually, I think with all this stuff, it's too big.
When you minimize it, when you shrink it down to everyday life, it's easier to understand and to process.
Let's say you're in a relationship and you decide you want to break up when your partner hears that you want to break up, it gets physical.
But thank God you got out of it and that's it.
Three, four years later, when you know what you're dating again?
things you feel like things are different a year in two years two years and you're seeing oh actually this
is the exact same guy he's lying he's kind of asshole i got to get out of this would you say to yourself
he's not going to hit me again no i think you i think you'd i think you'd be ready for it actually
i think you'd be worried that it's going to get physical again i kind of think it's the same way
with donald trump in this and with our democracy is he's actually already hit it once he's hit
at once. The only thing we can look at is what he's done before. We know what he's done before.
The one time that he was told to abide by the election results, he refused to. And he actually
tried to stop the free and fair counting of electoral votes. So I'm going to take it seriously.
I don't want to freak you out. Don't get worried. We're going to fight it. Let's take it seriously.
