Starting point is 00:00:00 Calls are growing for Pete Hegseth to resign as Donald Trump starts to blame him on the main stage for the disaster our country is in in this Middle Eastern war that no one wanted other than I guess what Trump is saying is Pete Hegseth and Israel. Now, we have some original reporting from Tara Palmyri who lays into this, as well as other additional color that shows that this is not a good situation for our old drinking buddy, Pete. But first, here is Tara Palmerry explaining what's going on. There's zero confidence in Pete Heggsath. That's what my source is on the Hill, in the White House, and on K Street are telling me.
Starting point is 00:00:42 In fact, one source put it this way. Everyone regrets voting for him. He's an even bigger regret than RFK. That's really saying something. It's because how the war is playing out. I mean, it's expanding from the Gulf to Lebanon. And Pete's pugnacious style is just not reassuring during this time. They also want President Trump to step it up.
Starting point is 00:01:02 And so the war. Some are even suggesting an Oval Office address. After all, he is asking them to pass a $200 billion supplemental bill. So for all of my latest in my exclusive reporting, go to... All right, now we got some more info about this, too. But I want to first show you that Donald Trump literally earlier today blamed Pete HECSeth for all of this. And then unfortunately, I called Pete, I called General Kane. I called a lot of our great people. We have great people. And I said, let's talk. We got a problem in the Middle East. We have a country known as Iran that for 47 years has been just a purveyor of terror. And they're very close to having a nuclear weapon. We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60 is no end. Or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem.
Starting point is 00:02:01 And Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up. And you said, let's do it because you can't let them have a nuclear weapon. So the president is now starting to shift blame away from himself and onto his advisors because he sees that this is not going anywhere good, that the political backslash from this is too much for even him to handle. And this is what he does, folks. this is what Donald Trump does, he will eventually turn on you. The second things go bad or you become unuseful, Donald Trump is going to throw you to the
Starting point is 00:02:40 wolves. And that's what we're seeing here in real time. Pete Heggseth, if he were smart, he would resign yesterday because I'm telling you, no one wants this war. No one but the craziest of the crazies, like Lindsey Graham. Who wants to be on the same side as Lindsay Graham besides maybe an escort? but seriously who else wants to be on the same side with Lindsay Graham on anything I'm trying to think like not even
Starting point is 00:03:06 Maga respects Lindsay Graham but you think Lindsay Graham is who you want to have on your same position as this war no I think I think Mag is really waking up to this and Pete Hegg Seth
Starting point is 00:03:20 either is going to wake up to it with the job and resign or wake up and realize that he got cut before he could ever say anything to clear his own name. Now, we're also learning, too, that Pete Hexeth is under enormous pressure to resign as the U.S. is losing the Iran war. And this is one of the reason why Donald Trump is doing this, because, you know, people aren't dumb.
Starting point is 00:03:52 And folks like Nick Fuentes don't agree with him on anything. but he has a far right extreme viewership that he's telling the truth to. Listen and listen well. Don't blame it on Israeli intelligence. Don't blame it on the bad advisors. This is Trump's fault. Trump did this.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Trump is the president of the United States. If the Israelis were threatening to kill him, that is actually you have to be a martyr then. If the implication is Trump couldn't keep us out of the war because then they would kill him. Well, that's actually what's involved when you run the country, when you're the president of the United States. Time to nut up.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Okay, that's your obligation. You're not okay with that. Don't run for president. Trump did this. Trump did this. Trump did do this. Now, Glenn Greenwald points out that Trump also is completely outsourcing U.S. foreign policy and then it will leave to Jared Kushner and Steve Whitkoff to lifelong,
Starting point is 00:05:02 hardcore Israel loyalists and explain so much of our current predicament. That's why it's absolutely insane that as a U.S. diplomat confirmed that the Trump administration has zero experts handling this. In contrast to the Trump administration where you had no experts with any relevant expertise. And again, the whole mission was entrusted to Mr. Whitkoff, Mr. Kushner, and I don't know, maybe one or two others. And, you know, these people are doubtless very good in their own fields, but you need expertise. As for how I feel about the collapse, the unnecessary collapse of the JCPOA and the result in chaos that led to this war, yeah, I feel horrible. But then again, as an American citizen, looking at the footprint and the,
Starting point is 00:05:56 the track record so far of the Trump administration. This war is just one item on a whole long list of consequences of lack of expertise and lack of foregrounding U.S. national interest when you're making political decisions. Says this bot here. A few things. Christian Whitkoff have pulled off from the greatest diplomacy in the last 50 years. The Abraham Accords. experts are unneeded for Iran.
Starting point is 00:06:27 They don't keep their word and bargain in bad faith. Three, this is not a catastrophic war. This is a reckoning for 57 years of a murderous terror. You're taking your eye off the ball for Khan. Gosh. Yeah, I mean, I've talked to some people about this, and they're like, the way some people feel about this war is that because Iran has done many bad things in the past,
Starting point is 00:06:52 even like up until the 70s, I guess they've done things that have hurt American citizens by killing them that this has somehow come up. It's like it's bound to happen. And I don't know, man. I just kind of feel like if we just shrink it down, like, if you punched me in the face 30 years ago, does that give me the right to blow up your house today? I would say no.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Probably not. But is that not literally what we've done here? Is that not literally the best excuse our government could give us? Well, they've done some pretty bad things to us in the past. And by the way, we were going to destroy. By the way, they were building nuclear weapons that we destroyed, but totally obliterated it. But you never know.
Starting point is 00:07:52 They could make more. So let's just get in there now. Like, none of it makes sense. And I guess it makes sense that none of them makes sense because, according to Trump, this is all because of Pete Hexeth. So perhaps this is by design. But folks, I'm telling you, they, it's just incredible to me that they were like, let's, I've got a brilliant idea. Let's create a war to stop the media talking about the Epstein. files worked. It worked. Only thing we got to sacrifice is our base, any sort of political power we may
Starting point is 00:08:38 have, and all of our legitimacy. But at least people will no longer be talking about the fact that the president might be a petto. So, I guess, would you take that bargain? I don't know. Is it worth doing? I guess they thought it was. It was. worked, but at what cost? At what cost? The cost of some schoolchildren, that's for sure. When you're paying more for gas and when food gets more expensive and energy costs go through the roof, your trip back home costs 30% more than it did, just understand the reason why it costs more because the president doesn't want you to talk about the fact that he he's a pedophile. So it's a pedophile text, I guess. I'll see you soon.
