Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm so excited to introduce to you, Kevin Trudeau. Rebecca, thanks for having me. Yeah. Well, thank you for being here. You started from humble beginnings, I would say, Lynn, Massachusetts. Tell me about, I want to know everything from the beginning. You were in prison. You've been like, this has been a very interesting.
Starting point is 00:00:24 And you said nothing's off limits. Right, right. So I want to dive in. to, let's start with your beginning back in Massachusetts. Like, tell me about your childhood. Well, a lot of people, you know, we're talking about your best life, right? Yeah. My newest book is called Your Wishes Your Command, how to manifest your desires.
Starting point is 00:00:45 And one of the things I talk about in there is, who do you listen to? It's one of the first key elements. Yeah. And with the Internet today and with YouTube and all the things that are out there, there's all these success gurus talking about how to achieve success, how to manifest your goals, dreams, and desires. how to use the law of attraction. Okay, so who do you listen to?
Starting point is 00:01:03 You listen to someone who has what you want and has been where you are. Right. And ideally somebody who's gone through adversity, because that's really the determining factor of whether or not they're living what they're teaching. Yeah. So if you look at myself, I started off with nothing and I went to college. I was told I had a learning disability. I had no connections.
Starting point is 00:01:24 My dad was a welder. Okay. Grew up in a normal house. Actually, we had one bathroom in a house, 1,200. square feet. Okay. No money and generated over $25 billion in international business. Yeah. My book, Natural Cures, they don't want you to know about was number one in the New York Times list, 26 weeks in a row, sold 50 million copies. Yeah. I had three TV networks in Europe. Yeah. So I've achieved a lot. Yeah. And then I got held in contempt of court because I was
Starting point is 00:01:50 exposing the drug companies and spent eight years in a federal prison without being charged with a crime. Okay. So this is what I want to dive into. Yeah. Okay. Because, Because a couple of years ago, I'm going to tell you, a friend of mine told me, no, I think it was maybe a year, no, maybe two years ago. Yes, it was two years ago. A friend of mine said, you got to listen to this series, your wishes, your command. And she's like, it's kind of, you know, controversial because this guy spent time in prison. So, you know, you may not want to tell people you're listening to this series. like because you know it's sort of controversial but she goes nobody really breaks down the law of attraction as simply as this guy it's like it's actually it's a really great step-by-step guide on on it and
Starting point is 00:02:45 and so she goes take a listen to it and so I started listening to your series I found it on YouTube, I think initially, and then I found it on Spotify. And I was like, this is actually really good. So I started listening to it. And so from that, I started doing some things in my life and it actually was really working. So I was listening to it over and over. And another friend of mine was listening to it. It was really working for her and her life. This was actually pretty cool. And so it was really funny to me when a friend introduced us and said, hey, do you want to interview this guy on your show? I was like, that's so crazy that you were to ask me that
Starting point is 00:03:29 because I was listening to him. And but to me, and I'm going to be very pointed with you, how did somebody like you who obviously really understands the law of attraction and really, you know, made it work for you in your life, generated a lot of money, had a lot of success, end up in prison. You know, the real question is, why do bad things seem to happen to good people?
Starting point is 00:04:01 And if the law of attraction really works, people say, Kevin, how did you manifest going away? Yeah. Clearly you didn't want that. And the answer is you didn't know what I was asking the universe for. So you think that was a bad thing. It wasn't.
Starting point is 00:04:15 What I manifested by going to prison without being charged with a crime, being held in contempt of court, spending the longest sentence in federal prison, in the history of America, without being charged with the crime, contempt of court. That is bizarre. That's exactly what I was asking for. It gave me an opportunity to, number one, clear the decks.
Starting point is 00:04:34 So all my businesses, I had a chance to liquidate and absolutely clear the decks and come out with a clean slate to do exactly what my mission and purpose was. But when I was away, it gave me the time for the first time in my life to dive deep, via meditation and, yoga over those eight years and write the science of personal mastery course, which was all of the training that I got through when I was in a group called the Brotherhood. I would never have written that course if I didn't spend that time away. I would also never have written the guru Kev lessons, which is a book about that thick with over 330 lessons revealing the secrets of how to live a successful life. I would have never have done that. So I got what I was asking for.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I had a friend of mine who came to me and he said, I want to quit smoking. I want to use the law of attraction to manifest being smoke-free. Great. So we use the manifesting method or formula. There's actually a recipe. There's a series of steps that you go through to manifest what you want.
Starting point is 00:05:41 So we did that together. A week later, he doesn't come into the office. So I called his wife and said, what's going on with Richard? He goes, he's in the hospital. What happened? He had a heart attack. he may not survive. So I rushed down to the hospital.
Starting point is 00:05:56 He was on the ventilator. He was there for a week. He came out. And he said to me, Kevin, I'm quitting smoking. My doctor just told me, he had five young girls, that if I didn't quit smoking, I would never live. I'd have another heart attack and die. He says, the universe gave me exactly what I needed to quit smoking. I didn't want to have a heart attack.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I didn't want to go into the hospital, but the universe understood. I was asking to be smoke-free. I was asking the universe, help me quit smoking. And the universe actually, via the law of attraction, manifested for me the exact thing that I needed, even though it wasn't what I necessarily wanted, or the method or the how. But it was what I needed to actually achieve and attain what I truly desired, which was living smoke-free. And that was the catalyst.
Starting point is 00:06:46 If he didn't have that heart attack, nothing good would have happened to him. So when a bad thing seems to happen to a good person, it's actually an opportunity for you to take the next level. The universe doesn't do things to us. The universe does things for us. We just have to find what's good in the adversity. John D. Rockefeller said it best, and also Napoleon Hill in the book, Think and Grow Rich, in all adversity are the seeds of a greater benefit. You just have to find it.
Starting point is 00:07:17 I agree that obviously adversity. ends up being for us. I 100% agree with that. But are you saying at that time that you really manifested going to prison? That is what you wanted? I didn't ask, please
Starting point is 00:07:34 universe send me to prison for eight years. I asked the universe free me of all these companies so I can focus on my mission and give me the opportunity to write the works that I need to write. And the universe manifested this crazy,
Starting point is 00:07:50 bizarre set of circumstances which you couldn't write in a Hollywood movie that got me put away for contempt of court just because I was exercising my First Amendment constitutional rights. So you manifest exactly what you need, not necessarily the method in which you think is appropriate. There are things off our radar screen that we have to trust the universe for and we have to say this is happening to me, but it's not happening to me, it's happening for me. everything in your life you created you created it it didn't happen to you you manifested it as within so without life is a reflection of your vibration and frequency that you're putting out i agree so when i manifested that i was absolutely befuddled i don't want i didn't want this but i said but clearly there's
Starting point is 00:08:42 something good here but you did manifest it exactly and i said but clearly there's something good here so i have to embrace it. There's a seed in that adversity of a greater benefit. Yeah. And I remember going away and I was walking down the middle of the compound and the warden comes by and he says, you know, Kevin, he called me Trudeau. You know Trudeau? I've been in the Bureau of Prisons for 35 years. Yeah. I've seen tens of thousands of inmates and I've never seen one who's actually happy to be here. He goes, you're actually happy you're here. Yeah. I go, yes. I don't know why this is good for me, but I know it is. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:18 And this is the idea of reframing. This is really the millionaire mindset. Okay. For example, there was a, the show, the blacklist. I don't have you seen the blacklist is on Netflix. And in the show, Raymond Reddington is broke. And he's tried to negotiate a deal. And the guy says, Raymond, you're broke.
Starting point is 00:09:36 And he said, I prefer to say illiquid. It's a way of reframing it, right? I like that. It's kind of like, have you heard this one? You have a glass and it's got, half filled with water. Yeah. And you say, let's see if you're a pessimist or an optimist.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Is the glass half full or is the glass half empty? Right. The answer is neither. It doesn't matter if it's half full or half empty because a true millionaire mindset says it doesn't matter because I can always fill up the glass. Oh, I like that. So it really is a way of reframing things. And this is evidence that you're not just giving sound good advice, but you're
Starting point is 00:10:16 you're actually living and have become that person, which understands that you're connected to the universe and what you desire can and will manifest. Not necessarily in the way that you think, but that's where you have to trust the universe. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I love that.
Starting point is 00:10:35 So talk about, I always teach my people that you have to be before you can have, or and then do and then have, right? It's always the being first. Can you talk about that? You're exactly correct. There's a statement you can be, do, and have whatever you want. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:57 And people just kind of fluff that off, but it's really in that order. B, then do, and then you will have. Yes. So the beingness is really another way of saying what vibrational frequency you're putting out. Yeah. There's really three reasons why a person fails at achieving. their goals or manifesting their dreams is three. The first one is they're not following the manifesting formula properly.
Starting point is 00:11:25 They may read the book The Secret and learn the law of attraction or read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill or read Askin and is given by Esther Hicks and they're all great books. And they try to follow the recipe but they do it a little bit wrong. So the first reason is they're not following the recipe. The second reason is they have counterintention subconsciously. They have negative programming. They self-sabotage themselves. And a lot of these counterintensions are actually in your DNA from your ancestors. Research has now proven this to be
Starting point is 00:11:56 true by saying if there's a trauma in your ancestors, you went through a Holocaust or something, that trauma actually can be found in your DNA. And you have that vibrating as a counterintention preventing you or stopping you or making you do things to self-sabotize your success. And the third reason is when a person is putting out that frequency or vibration, you know, they're using the law of attraction and they're trying to manifest what they want by thinking. I see a picture of myself in attainment of what I desire and I'm feeling now as if I was actually achieving it. You're broadcasting that frequency. But if you're broadcasting it on the beta brainwave, it's not going to manifest. Beta is what most people broadcast on. And it's called the slave wave or the poverty wave.
Starting point is 00:12:41 researchers have found. When I said this, my team was like, is that really true? I go, find the research. I know it's true. And they said, we have a dozen studies from major universities, double-blind, peer-reviewed, published studies which show rich people broadcast on the alpha-theta brainwave and their hippocampus, just like you said, Kevin, is bigger and more active than poor people. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:08 So they're actually capable of using their brain. as a broadcaster and receiver frequency so they can put out what they want, that desire, on that frequency, affect matter, and then via the law of attraction, the universe starts to create circumstances, events, conditions, people, situations so that you actually start manifesting
Starting point is 00:13:32 or creating in your life as a reality what you want. Yeah, I talk about that all the time. Like, if you are broadcasting, at 87.3, like the radio, right? And then you want to tune into 107.3. You can't do it because you're still at 87.3. You can't tune into 107.3. You're exactly correct. I use that analogy as well. If you want to listen to rock and roll music and you're dialing into classical, and you're thinking, how come I'm not hearing rock and roll? Because you're on the frequency that broadcast classical. You have to dial in the correct frequency. So you're 100% correct.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Right. So we teach people how to get into that correct frequency band so you can broadcast what you want and then manifest us. And this is not foo-foo. There was an ad that I saw published in 1970. Full-page ad in a magazine. And it was about Liberace. Had a big picture of Liberace. And there was a book there called The Magic of Believing, which was published in the 60s. And he said, this is the book that took me from being one of the lowest paid performers in the world to being one of the highest paid performers in the world because I used that book to get my brain to have the confidence or belief or knowingness that I can have what I want in life if I change my vibration. And it was the word that he used is belief. And it made all the difference.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Arnold Schwarzenegger was on Netflix doing a documentary. And he said, when I became the number one bodybuilder in the world, I had pictures of bodybuilders, the world champions that I would look at. And then he said, but I close my eyes and I saw myself on stage winning Mr. Olympia. And the crowd was cheering. And I would feel as if I will feel when I actually am there winning the award. And I would do that every single night. That's exactly one of the steps in the manifesting point. And he's saying this is exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:34 exactly what he did. Jim Carrey said that he would put a picture of a big check on the ceiling of made out to him for $10 million. And every morning when he woke up, he would look at that check. And he envisioned himself getting that to be a movie star as a check, a starting payment to appear in a movie. And he did that when he didn't have a job when he was living in a studio apartment that he couldn't pay the rent on. But he would picture himself. That's one of the techniques, but that's just one of the ingredients. You have to follow the entire recipe in order to get the results. But we see that people actually do it because it absolutely does work.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I remember seeing Stevie Nix in Masterclass. You remember that interview series that Oprah had years ago. And she said that when she was 17 years old, she would go to Goodwill and buy the clothes that we all know now that Stevie Nix wears the lacy, big skirts and the hat and everything. And she would walk through the middle of San Jose State University when she first started there, and she would walk through the middle of campus, and she would think, why isn't everybody looking at me? Because don't you people know who I am? I am a rock star. And she would just, she already knew that she was Stevie Nix. I am a rock star.
Starting point is 00:17:03 So she already was embodying that she was that. You be first, then do, and then have. You're exactly correct. Earl Nightingale was one of the greatest motivational teachers. He wasn't a motivational speaker, but he was a teacher. And he started back in the 60s. He made a record album, an old LP, vinyl record. And it was called The Strangest Secret.
Starting point is 00:17:30 And on that, he said, the strangest secret is you, become what you think about most of the time. Thoughts are things. It was a movie about the founder of McDonald's, Ray Kroc. They showed a true scene where he was struggling, selling milkshake mixers, door to door, trying to sell these milkshers. So he was staying in a lot of motels as a traveling salesman. And he had a record.
Starting point is 00:18:01 And the record that he would put on every morning, We talk about you can do it. Perseverance is the most important attribute to success. Never give up, give up. And the scene is he was programming him, programming himself with positivity, with I will never quit. I can do it. I will do it.
Starting point is 00:18:22 I become what I think about. Whatever my mind can conceive and I can bring myself to believe, I can achieve. And he listened to that every morning. And he listened to those records every day. night before he went to bed. Later, he said the reason of my success was I programmed myself by listening to audio recordings that were positive and motivational inspirational to get my thinking straight. And if I didn't get my thinking right, I wouldn't have been able to manifest the success that I have in McDonald's. So really thinking is the most important first step
Starting point is 00:18:57 to creating the life you want. So I say in the opening of my show, negotiate your best, life that sometimes, and I think maybe a lot of the time, the very first negotiation that we have to do is with ourselves in the morning for our own self-worths, our own thoughts. I think that, you know, we are, our mind is not wired for success. We are wired for safety. We are wired for taking care of ourselves. 90% of the thoughts that we have today are the same thoughts that we had yesterday we are wired from the beginning for you know by our parents by our the bullies on the playground by the people that shaped us you know I think that we are people that you know we're sort of wound up being in a lot of ways right that's correct yeah and so we have to kind of undo a lot
Starting point is 00:19:55 you have to basically Zig Ziglar who's a motivational speaker and he was a good friend of mine we travel together. He said everyone was born to win, but they're conditioned to lose. So we've got negative programming from the time we're a little kid. You can't do that. Stop. Don't do that. What makes you think you can do that? You're not smart enough. You don't have enough education. You don't have the right friends. What makes you think you can become successful? And we get programmed. Who do you think you are? Exactly. We get programmed or conditioned to lose. We're born to win, but we're conditioned to lose. So we have to get rid of that programming
Starting point is 00:20:30 and replace it with positive programming. And that's why listening to audios on a regular basis is important. And there's another way to do that. You've heard of affirmations, you know, positive self-talk. Shad Helmstetter wrote the book, What do you say when you talk to yourself?
Starting point is 00:20:45 Talks about this a lot. This actually goes back in history and it's talked about in many, many esoteric books that the words you speak are actually creative. The tongue is a creative force. What you say is actually what you get. There's a word called abracadabra that magicians use. You know, we're in California, the magic castles up the street here.
Starting point is 00:21:07 When a magician would perform, he would say, Abricadabra, I now pull a rabbit out of my hat. And then he pulls the rabbit out of the hat. Or abracadabra, I now make the woman levitate rise. Abrakadabra comes back from the ancient Persian. It's an ancient Persian word, which basically is translated, I now create with my words. And so what the magician was doing, which goes back to the gin,
Starting point is 00:21:35 which is the magic mystics of ancient Persia, they would say the Persian word, I now create with my words, open sesame or whatever. So the key is words are powerful. Most people use the wrong words. They say the wrong words, and they're programming themselves with their words, words because when you speak out loud, the words don't just come in through your ear. Do you ever listen
Starting point is 00:22:02 to yourself on audio and you think, that's not how I sound? But it is how everybody else hears you. The reason why the voice you hear on a recording is not the same voice that you hear yourself when you speak is when you talk, the sound comes out, vibrates and goes into the ear, but only 20%. 80% of the sound transmutes through the bone in your head into your brain. So the way you perceive that voice is different than when you just hear it on an audio where 100% of the vibration that's coming through the air or the ether into your ear. So therefore, when you say something, I can do this. I'm a winner. When you make that statement, it goes through bone and actually vibrates every cell in your body, not just your brain. The
Starting point is 00:22:53 easiest and fastest way to program yourself for success is with your own words. We used to call this in sports or in sales giving yourself a pep talk. Now, how about though when you're in a relationship or you're with people who put you down a lot, you're in a relationship with a narcissist, you have a boss who's a narcissist, you're with a person who's toxic, or you are seeking out that type of a person because maybe your parents were that way. And so you're subconsciously finding a person who's like that. Right. Or you're attracting that into your life. You're attracting that into your life. Out of habit. We have neuro pathways in our brain to get established based on our habits or habit patterns. So what we have to do is we have to, number one,
Starting point is 00:23:44 acknowledge and not deny the reality. Most people try to deny what's true. If there is a person that you don't like or you think is negative to you, whether it's a boss, a lover, a friend, relative, neighbor, whatever, you have to acknowledge that, not deny it. Number two, you can't resist it. You actually have to welcome it and saying this is the reality. That's the only way you can allow yourself to transmute it and change it. If you resist it, there's an old saying. What you resist persists and you actually give it more power. You can't change any person. You can only change yourself. So when people are always trying to change their environment, no, work on changing yourself
Starting point is 00:24:29 and your environment will change. That person will change. I talked to a person one time on my radio show and I was telling them this. They said, everybody in my office is a jerk. I mean, they're negative. They're toxic. I hate going to work, but I can't quit because I love my job. I just hate all the people and I need the money.
Starting point is 00:24:48 And I said, change your own vibration first and let's see what happened. And so we went through a series of steps to change their own vibration and look at themselves first. A month later, she called me back on my radio show. This is what I was doing my radio show before. We had 100 million listeners on my radio show back 15 years ago. And she called up and she goes, you're not going to believe what happens. I goes, believe me, I do believe whatever you're going to say.
Starting point is 00:25:11 I already know what's going to happen, what you're going to tell me. She goes, I change myself. She goes, one person quit, two people ask for. a relocation. One guy got promoted, so he's out of my area, and I got transferred into another department in my company all in the last month where all the people are wonderful and happy and sweet and kind. I go, see, you didn't change anybody, did you?
Starting point is 00:25:38 You changed yourself, your own vibration, and the universe changed your environment. The universe changed the conditions. You didn't have to change anybody. you didn't have to confront anybody. It changed because you changed. And now you're in a better job. You're in a better location. It's closer to your house.
Starting point is 00:25:58 You're in with wonderful, happy, positive people. She goes, yeah, Kevin, you wouldn't believe it. One person walked in with a Zig Ziglar book. See you at the top. They were reading this positive thinking book. And they're like happy. And another guy's reading by Dale Carnegie, how to win friends and influence people.
Starting point is 00:26:16 And they're saying, we should all do this with one another and treat everybody with respect. and nice and be nice and kind. And she's like, this is heaven. I said, yeah, you didn't change anybody. You changed yourself and the environment then changed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:30 It's easier said than Todd. It is easier said than none. But it's not impossible. And it really is probably the easier route than trying to change someone else. I remember my mother. I had a girlfriend and we went to her house. And my girlfriend at the time said, my mother is insane.
Starting point is 00:26:51 She drives me crazy. She's going to drive you crazy. We really have a hard time and you're not going to like her. So I went to the house and I'm chatting with her mother and she was fantastic. And afterwards I said, your mother's wonderful. And my girlfriend's like, I don't understand that. She's terrible. And I go, no, she was great.
Starting point is 00:27:07 So then I took my girlfriend to my house a month later. I says, look, my mother is insane. My mother is crazy. You're going to hate her. She drives me crazy. We went to the house and her and my mother got along like peas and carrots and I'm thinking, how is that possible? It wasn't my mother, it wasn't her mother. It was the relationship between my mother and me and the relationship between her and her mother. And so I said,
Starting point is 00:27:29 let's work on ourselves and change ourselves. And let's look with compassion. Rather than try to change my mom, let me look at my mom as a cartoon character. Let me look at my mom as somebody who is who she is and she can't be changed. And let me accept her for who she is and know that she can't be Let me have compassion. Let me feel like she has a right to be happy and she has a right to be who she is. But she's not going to affect me. It's like me watching a movie. I don't have to be affected by the movie.
Starting point is 00:27:59 I don't have to cry. You don't have to get cringy. I'm just watching a movie. I did that and I went home and my mother first started acting as crazy as always, you know, criticizing me and so forth. And I just laughed and I'm like going, she's, mom, you're who you are. It was like she was putting on an act. She looked at me because I didn't react and she just smiled.
Starting point is 00:28:24 And all of a sudden, she appeared to change. And I thought, did she change? So what would you say to the person who's dealing with a super toxic person right now? They feel like they're in a very stuck situation. They have no money maybe or whatever. Where would they start? It's a good question. I think every situation is different.
Starting point is 00:28:47 I've been in situations. I've had a business partner where he was just incredibly difficult to deal with. And I made a decision. I said, this is not something I want to continue with. What are my options? All right. So my option is if I leave the business partnership, I'm out of money. I got nothing. Okay. Well, guess what? That's what I did. And everything worked out fine. Now that a lot of people can't do that, especially if they're in a marriage situation. It's like, this is going to be very difficult. So it is challenging. You It is something that's easier said than done. There's no question. But if you look at it as the universe doesn't do things to me, it does things for me. And this person is pushing my buttons, getting me so bad, that means I have a button that they can push. Rather than try to change them, let me take this as an opportunity and look at as a blessing. Let me look at this person like their personal trainer, really pushing me. Because every time I'm with them, they push my button.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Well, I don't want to have a button. I don't want to be triggered. So let me look at myself and saying, what in me is being triggered that I can work on in transmute. And now that person can do anything or say anything and they have no effect on me. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best. You know the, you know the quote. Yeah. She says nobody can upset you if you don't let them.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Right. Without your permission. That's exactly right. Yeah. Exactly. So really that's what it is. And it's easier said than done. Right.
Starting point is 00:30:27 It is a work in progress. But I can tell you, just like going to the gym with a trainer, it's hard, especially in the beginning, you're going to be sore the next day. But six months later, you're going to look in the mirror and you're going to be very happy with the results you get. So a person, I think, is going to be very happy with the results they get if they work on themselves first and try to transmute and clear the energy in their field that is being triggered and eliminate the buttons that are being pushed. It makes you free. I always say put an
Starting point is 00:30:58 invisible shield down around you. Start with that. Yeah, that's perfect. Like looking at them as if they're a third party. Like observe. Observe, don't absorb. Respond, don't react. That's brilliant. And we look at ourselves the same way. Many people look at ourselves as ourselves instead of as a spiritual master would say detach from yourself, from your body and your mind and be an observer or a witness to your life. And if you're in a situation, if you are, as you pointed out, being an observer or a witness to your situation, as if you're watching it play out on a movie screen. Yeah. I always say like you're a reporter. Oh, there's go. Yes. Yes. Yes. You can be detached, you can be objective, and you don't have to have that person trigger or push your buttons.
Starting point is 00:31:52 You can be more objective and watch yourself react. It really comes down to do you react? And if you react, it's an uncontrollable, many times a rational reaction. Yeah. Or do you have control over your emotions and thoughts and therefore respond? Right. If you are in control of your mind, you can then respond as opposed to having an uncontrollable and many times irrational reaction.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Yeah. Because otherwise you're giving them your power. You're exactly correct. Right. Yeah. Because otherwise you're saying, okay, here you go. Here's my power. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Yeah. And I'll give you another tip I find that's true. Years ago, a fellow told me that your income is going to be the average of your five best friends. Yes. And success rubs off. people's energy or vibration is different. Some people have, we'll call it a negative or toxic frequency or vibration. Other people have a positive uplifting vibration.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Scientists now have proven that this is true. Yeah. So if you associate with winners, if you associate with like-minded, positive, upbeat people, that's going to rub off and help change you, probably more so than anything else. And again, if we go back to change your frequency or vibration, which is, an attractive force first and allow that and allow the universe to change your conditions. That's pretty impressive. So I think when I always talk about your income is the average of your five best friends,
Starting point is 00:33:19 people look at me and go, I think I need to get some new friends. But hang around with winners, hang around with positive, motivated people, join. There used to be something called the Optimist Club. I don't even think it's around anymore, but it was people that were optimistic. You know, and you used to go and everybody would smile and pat everybody on the back and say, You look great today. And it was just a whole wonderful. You bathe yourself in positivity.
Starting point is 00:33:43 And people would go home and they would just feel different. And they would report, my kids treat me different. I go to an optimist club meeting and we're all basically shaking hands, smiling at each other. We're praising each other. We're complimenting each other. Two hours later, I go home. I'm like beaming. And all of a sudden, my kids come running up to me and hug me for the first time in a month.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Oh, dad or mom, I missed you. And I'm like, you did? Who are you? Where are my kids? Right, right, right. Okay, so you have a new book coming out soon. Tell us about that. Yeah, I have the audio still, which you listen to. I did.

Starting point is 00:36:50 All that stuff, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. So for somebody out there who's really feeling low and I mean, you've been high, you've been low, you've sat in prison, all the good stuff, bad stuff, what would you say to them? If a person is feeling low right now, I would suggest ask yourself, what is the cause of that? And there's two causes that a person is feeling depressed, sad, angry, anxious, stressed, low, the case of the blues. Two reasons.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Either one, something is keying in. Something is activating. Something has been triggered. In the east, they call it a samskarah, which is an energetic imprint. Something from the past, a memory that is being activated. And it's giving you an uncontrollable negative emotion. And in many cases, it's irrational. You have to clear that out.
Starting point is 00:37:41 And I think the fastest way to do that in all of my research for over 40 years of study are the Callahan techniques, which is a tapping technique, and it clears out or blows that out. There are others as well, bio-enadjetic synchronization technique. There's a whole bunch of things that you can do. There's a lot of them. The Callahan techniques are fast and simple, and it blows that out. But I'll give you something a person can do right now. And it's what grandma said.
Starting point is 00:38:06 Get outside and go for a walk and look at things far away. This is magical. Why? Because when you're feeling low, where are you really looking? You're looking like this, right? You're caving in. You're looking in and you're caving in. Your shoulders round.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Your head goes down. Your physiology changes. So one of the quickest ways to start feeling better is by changing your physiology, shoulders back, smile, and I want you to say, I feel depressed. If you can't feel depressed if you change your physiology, go for a walk outside and look at things far away, the top of the building, that building, the lamp post, the tree. And when you do that, now you're externalizing. and your energy field, and again, scientists have proven this is true, starts to expand and you feel
Starting point is 00:39:10 better. We know this because scientists have proven that when you do those two things I just mentioned, endorphins get released. Serotonin levels go up, which means these are the feel good hormones in your body that actually make you feel better. That's why when somebody goes for a run, they usually have some improved feeling or any type of exercise because you're releasing endorphins. So if you change your posture and change your physiology, smile, shoulders back, and then go for a walk outside and look at things far away, that I think is one of the quickest ways to change your emotional state.
Starting point is 00:39:43 That combined with and or the Callahan technique, which will blow out the Sam Schauer permanently, say it doesn't return, it doesn't get keyed in.
