Starting point is 00:00:01 Maybe it's a fear of going up to a girl and asking her on a date. That's a phobia. It's a fear. And you get panicky. She couldn't see water. She couldn't drive in a car near a lake or a river or the ocean because she would have a panic attack. So glad, glad to be here. The five-minute phobia cure. Now, first off, what is a phobia? If you're listening or if you're watching the show, are you afraid of public speaking? That's a fear.
Starting point is 00:01:18 That's a phobia. Maybe some of you have a phobia, claustrophobia of small spaces. Some people are a phobic of water. My mom, for example, couldn't go near the beach. She couldn't go near a swimming pool. She had a phobia of water. She had a hard time taking a shower. She could never take a bath. She had a phobia of water. Some people have phobia of spiders or they have a phobia of snakes or they have a phobia of heights. That was a big one. I had a huge fear of heights. I couldn't get on a roller coaster, couldn't walk up a ladder, big fear of heights. So people have different phobias. What phobia do you think you have? Maybe it's a fear of going up to a girl and asking her on a date. That's a phobia. It's a fear. And you get panicky. Fear of public speaking, actually surprisingly enough, is the number one phobia out there. Fear of heights is also in the top like five or top ten lists for sure. Spiders and snakes, that's up there. Klosher phobia,
Starting point is 00:02:21 small spaces. That's kind of up there. What kind of fears or phobias do you have? in addition to phobias, what I'm going to tell you today is the cure, the cure for stress and anxiety, the cure for fear, the cure for depression. If you are stressed, if you have anxiety, if you have panic attacks, any fears, phobias, if you have depression or sadness, or if you have any addiction, cigarette, Maybe some of you are addicted to potato chips and maybe some of you addicted to ice cream. You have an uncontrollable urge to eat food, a particular kind of food. I had a guy who was addicted to M&Ms.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Phobias, addictions, fears, they can be cured in five minutes. How do I know this? Number one, I've seen it. Thousands of times in real life. and the success rate, you can never say 100% because I haven't seen every single person, but let's say 90 plus percent. I think it's closer to 99%, but let's say 90% success rate of curing permanently any fear, phobia, stress, anxiety, depression, or addictive urge.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Imagine if you had an addictive urge to eat some potato chips or ice cream and you were fighting that urge. And in five minutes, the urge went away 100%. You had no interest. How would that make you feel? Well, that's what today shows about. And first off, let me tell you how I discovered this, because I didn't discover it. I discovered a guy who discovered it. Dr. Roger Callahan was a close dear friend of mine, clinical psychologist in Beverly Hills, world famous, and he treated half of Hollywood. He told me the story of how he discovered the five-minute phobia cure, the cure for addictions, the cure for anxiety and stress and depression, the cure for fear. He said, Kevin, I was working with patients in Beverly Hills, celebrities, people that were very rich. They would
Starting point is 00:04:50 come and they would pay a crazy hourly rate. And I was a clinical psychologist and a damn good one and very well known, and I got a lot of people to come. And I noticed that in clinical psychology and even psychiatry where drugs are prescribed, patients never really seem to get better. He said, our business was to treat patients. If we cured them, they wouldn't come to us anymore. We would lose business. So that's why someone says, oh, I've been seeing my shrink for 15 years.
Starting point is 00:05:25 And I go, and you're still going? It clearly isn't working. Why are you still going if it isn't working? It's like the guy's on the golf course and he slices the golf ball. I says, have you ever gotten any lessons? Oh, I've been seeing an instructor for 10 years. I go once a week. I go, why?
Starting point is 00:05:48 It ain't working. You've been going to see the guy for 10 years and you're still slicing the golf ball? I mean, are you stupid? Why are you going to see the guy? So Roger Callahan, Dr. Callahan, said, Kevin, it was a great business because if we cured the person, we lost the client. So we just treated the person. They used to come in, right?
Starting point is 00:06:07 So they used to come in. He said all the time, and they would just like, you know, say, hey, treat me, right? Treat me. So I had a client. This is Dr. Roger Callahan speaking. He says, Kevin had a client who was phobic of water. And in my office, which was at my house, I had these big huge glass doors that walked out to the back patio where there was an in-ground swimming pool. And I couldn't have the blinds open because if she walked in and saw through the glass the pool, if she saw the swimming pool, she would have a panic attack.
Starting point is 00:06:53 I mean, a severe one. She was that phobic of water. She couldn't see water. She couldn't drive in a car near a lake or a river or the ocean because she would have a panic attack. Sometimes she closed her eyes. I mean, this was severe because Kevin, I was treating her for years. She'd come in every week.
Starting point is 00:07:14 And I would use all these different techniques, rapid eye desensitation. I would use different types of hypnotherapy. I sent her to a psychiatrist who tried some drug therapy. That got worse. I used all this cognitive therapy, gestalt therapy. He said, Kevin, as a clinical psychiatrist or a psychologist, we have dozens of different therapies that we can try on patients. And he goes, quite frankly, none of them work.
Starting point is 00:07:44 But they're in the book. We can do them. And again, if you go to a psychiatrist, you get drugs. So I said for years, I worked with her, and she got to the point where I could open the blinds and she could look at the water, but she was still panicky. It was, we thought, a huge breakthrough. Oh, you can actually look at water now without throwing up or passing out. But she was still panicky.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Didn't know what to do. Kevin, I then went to China for a conference dealing with psychosis. I went to this conference in China. And while in China, I met some people who were experts in acupuncture. He said, I really wasn't familiar with acupuncture. So I was curious and it was one of the side workshops. So I took this workshop on acupuncture and I learned that there were certain points in the body that relate to certain organs in the body.
Starting point is 00:08:53 So like the side of the hand, for example, goes to the small intestine. In the feet, on the hand, on the face, there are certain points, according to acupuncture, that have a meridian, which is a channel, that goes from that point to that particular organ. Acupuncture uses needles to release. least blockages so that the energy can flow then to that particular organ and it'll improve
Starting point is 00:09:24 health. But what he also found, Roger Callahan said, was that these organs also allegedly, according to the Chinese, it's 5,000 years old information, that these organs also stored specific kinds of emotions. And I found this very curious and fascinating. And I remember learning particularly that the point right under the eye, right here, under the eye, went to the stomach. I thought it was curious and interesting. I went back to my practice, and I had the gal come in, who had the phobic of the water. She comes in, and I said, can I open up the blinds? And she says, well, I think so, but I'm having a bad day.
Starting point is 00:10:11 I don't know. So Kevin, he says, I open up the blind. She looks at the water, and she goes, oh, no. it's, please shut the blinds. It's terrible. I feel so. And she's holding her stomach. And Roger shuts the blinds.
Starting point is 00:10:24 And he says, well, where do you feel the discomfort? She goes, it's in my stomach. It's in my stomach. I almost want to throw up. I look at the water in my stomach. It's my stomach. And Roger said, hmm, I remember the acupuncture meridian that goes under the eye. So he said, tell you what, why don't you just tap right here under the eye?
Starting point is 00:10:46 So he had the woman tap under the eye like this. And he said, just tap, just tap, just tap. And he said, stop. He said, how do you feel now? And she says, doctor, doctor, it's gone. It's gone. He said, what's gone? In my stomach, whatever was there is gone.
Starting point is 00:11:16 He says, can I open up the blind? She says, yes, of course. He opens up the blind. She looks up. She goes, there's nothing near, doctor. She jumps up out of the chair. She walks over to the window. She looks out the window at the pool.
Starting point is 00:11:32 She says, doctor, it's gone. She opens up the glass doors and she runs toward the pool. And Callahan says to me, Kevin, I yelled at her, stop. You can't swim. Stop. And she smiled. She turned around. And she goes, I know I can't swim.
Starting point is 00:11:47 She goes, but it's gone. And she sat down and she put her, she took her shoes off and she put her toes in the water. She goes, oh, my God, it's gone. It's gone. So Callahan thinks, oh, I think I may be on to something. He said, well, you need to come back. You need to come back. I want to make sure this is, you know, I don't know if it's permanent or temporary.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Well, to make a long story showed, it was permanent. She never had the issue again. And he said, and I said, and I don't know. I lost a client. But not really. I gained 50 clients because she told everybody and everybody started calling me. They said, I want to be cured. I want to be cured.
Starting point is 00:12:26 So people would come in with these different fears and phobias and I had them tap here and it didn't work on 50% of the people or more. And I had to think what emotion is being handled. So Roger went into major research mode and he discovered that there are points in the body that done in particular sequences can blow out what he called perturbations in the field. So let's talk about why you have a fear or a phobia. Some people think, oh, it's because you had a trauma. This particular woman, if she was afraid of water, she must have had a trauma when she was younger.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Maybe she almost drowned as an infant in a bathtub. Or maybe she went into a swimming pool and almost drowned. Or some kid was playing around and held her under the water and she was frightened. or maybe she went to the beach and she had a traumatic experience and, you know, maybe a big wave hit her and she was frightened and there's some trauma. The answer is no. Yeah, sometimes that happens. But in most cases, a fear or a phobia like of spiders, of heights, of snakes, of fear of public speaking, a fear of asking a girl out on a date, any type of phobia, any stress and anxiety, it's not in this lifetime. it comes from a past life because you come into this world with that phobia.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Callahan calls it a perturbation. Other people call it an Ngram or a Sam Skara or an energetic imprint. The bottom line is it's in your field, in your energetic field. And when it comes into the body, it's contracted energy and it stops the flow of chi or energy through the meridians. That's why tapping will break up or help dissipate this energy. and once it's gone, you're cured. It never comes back.
Starting point is 00:14:18 So Roger figured out how to do this, and I was traveling with Roger. We would go, and he was on the Oprah Winfrey show, I think. He was on CNN. He was on all these talk shows live. They would bring out people who had phobias of spiders and snakes and fear of heights. And he had to cure them in just a minute or two because it's live TV. and 100% of the time he would cure them. It was the coolest thing you've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:14:47 A person would come up and said, I have a phobia of snakes. And Roger would say, I have a plastic snake here. And the person would almost faint. Like, ah, or start screaming, take it away. It's a plastic snake. Take it away. Take it away. He'd say, okay, tap here, tap here.
Starting point is 00:15:05 And you go through this sequence within a minute, two minutes. And then he'd say, here's the plastic snake, and the person says, that's fine. Roger would say, can I bring out a real snake? Yes. They'd bring out a real snake, wrap it around the person's head and take a photo. And the person's like, I don't get it. I get no fear of the snake. I got a python around my neck and I'm like happy.
Starting point is 00:15:25 I can't disemble it. Another person, they bring in a ladder. I'll forget this one. The person looks at the ladder. It's like, oh, yeah, it's fine. He's afraid of heights. Well, step on the ladder. He steps on the first rung.
Starting point is 00:15:41 I swear to God, the first rung, and the guy's like, ah, ah, I step off. And one person on either side of him holding his arm because the guy was panicking so much. He steps off one rung. And this is not fake. I mean, this is all real because Callahan just shows up, and it's the studio producers to bring out these people, these poor individuals who are suffering from these traumas and phobias. And then Roger says, tap here, tap here, tap here, tap here, tap. here, do this, two minutes, and then the person says, oh, they walk right up, right up the stairs,
Starting point is 00:16:14 and they're like, this is unbelievable, I can't believe it. It happened to me. I told you I was fear of heights. And I didn't really think a bunch about it, but when I was a kid, I never went on roller coasters because I was afraid of heights. So I'm with my girlfriend at the time. She was, she's from Norway, very athletic gal, and we're in Mexico. So we decide to go up one of these Mexican pyramids or temples. And back then, you could walk up them. Now you can't because it's too dangerous, because it's very steep.
Starting point is 00:16:45 And the stairs are like really tiny, really small. So we walk up this very steep, very tall temple. We get to the top, and we're looking around. And I'm getting a little nervous now. Because going up, you're just staring at the wall. you don't think about that you're going up high. And I'm with the girl and I don't want to, you know, be like, you know, I'm a wimp. I can't go up because she's like, let's go up.
Starting point is 00:17:14 You know, she's very athletic and, yeah, no problem. And I'm like, breathe, breathe. And I'm going up. I get to the top and now it's like, I can't even get close to the edge. I want to sit down. I'm afraid of standing up. And it's a huge big platform. It's not like I'm on a tiny little platform.
Starting point is 00:17:34 I mean, there's a hundred people up there. I have to go in the middle and I sit down. I am so afraid of just being on top of this thing. I can't even stand up in the middle. I'm afraid. I'm afraid. I'm petrified. And I'm thinking, they're going to have to send a helicopter for me because I can't even
Starting point is 00:17:52 get close to the edge. The thought of walking down those steps, I am freaking out. I'll never forget this. And I'm sitting there going, wait a minute. I know Dr. Roger Callahan. This is before cell phones. So I couldn't call him and say, give me a treatment. But luckily, I knew the sequence.
Starting point is 00:18:11 So I'm thinking, okay, so let me do this. Okay, on a scale of 1 to 10, because this is the procedure, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion of feeling? 100. Okay, totally, I'm almost going to cry. I'm so afraid. Okay, good. See, I want to get over this.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I want to get over this. Okay, now tap here. Okay, good. Now tap here. Good, now tap here under your armpits. Okay, good. Now tap the gamut spot. Close your eyes, open your eyes.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Look down to the right, down to the left. Roll your eyes on a circle, roll in the other way. Hum a little bit out loud. Mm-hmm, count the five. One, two, three again. Mm-hmm. Okay, breathe in and out through your nose three times. Put your attention two inches below your belly button, relax your face.
Starting point is 00:18:51 Relax your stomach. Breathe in through the nose. Stomack goes out. Out through the nose, stomach goes in. Do it three times. Okay, good. Now tap here again, tap here again. Tap under the armpits again.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Okay, at least one. Okay, on a scale of 1 to 10, where's the intensity of the negative emotion now? I'm thinking, it's gone. I stood up? It's gone. I've seen it happen a thousand times, but now it happened to me. And I'm thinking, I feel like Superman. So I get the girl, she's like, are you ready to go?
Starting point is 00:19:32 I said, yeah, let's go. everybody else is turning around facing the pyramid and walking down because it's so scary. There's some guides and they walk straight down, you know, looking straight ahead. So me and my gal, we walk just like the guides. And I'm like, I can't believe this, man. I am, I'm Superman. I mean, that was, I mean, I've seen it happen, but when it happens to yourself, it was unbelievable. I did this with my friend Archie.
Starting point is 00:20:06 We're going fishing in Canada. And Archie, I says, Archie, me in Chicago, we're taking a private jet and we're going up to Red Lake and then from there we go to the lodge. He goes, no, I'll just meet you in Red Lake. I go, Archie, you're in Florida. Red Lake is in Canada. How are you going to get there? He goes, I'm going to drive.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I go, are you insane? Just take a plane from Florida to Chicago. I cover all the expenses from there forward because I'm taking a private jet to Red Lake and then we go to the lodge. No, I will drive. I love driving, he says. I go, Archie, it's going to take you like three days. I love driving. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:49 So he meets us in Red Lake. He goes, where's the lodge? I goes, we're going to take a float plane to get dropped off on another lake where the lodge is. He goes, why do we have to leave here? There's a lake right here. Why don't we just fish in this lake? I go, no, but the lodge is on another lake. It's a private lake.
Starting point is 00:21:07 I mean, it's like in secluded. It's in the middle of nowhere. He says, why do we have to leave? I bet this fish in this lake. I go, Archie, the lodge is not on this lake. The lodge that we're going to is world-class walleye fishing. It's that way. Well, I don't realize he is petrified of flying.
Starting point is 00:21:28 That's why he drove from Florida to Canada. And I finally realized this. I go, are you afraid of flying? Yes, I've never flown on a plane, you said. I'm petrified. I said, okay, well, before we get going, let's just test this out. I go, follow me. So I go, look, the float plane is tied to the dock.
Starting point is 00:21:50 There's no pilot in it. The engines are not running. Can you get on the plane? I don't know. He says, I really don't know. I'm really feeling terrible. I said, well, let's just get on the plane together. and let's try something.
Starting point is 00:22:02 So we get on the plane, the guy is freaking out. Now, the plane is on the ground. It's tied to the dock. There's no pilot in it, and the engines are not running. But he is freaking out. Just the thought of this thing leaving. So I said, okay, Archie, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion you're feeling right now?
Starting point is 00:22:24 He doesn't even give me a number. He's just, ah, oh, oh, and he's holding on to the, you know, to the armrest. Okay, Archie, can you release one of your hands? He couldn't. I said, okay, I'm going to touch your face. Is that okay? So I touch over here.
Starting point is 00:22:40 I touch here. I touch under his armpit. I touch his hand. He won't let go. And I says, close your eyes. And he closed it. So I have him do the eye movements. And all of a sudden, when we finish, he releases his hand.
Starting point is 00:22:53 The color comes back in his face. And he goes, what did you just do to me? You're like a wizard. you're like some type of, did you put a spell on me or did you take a curse or a spell off me? What the hell did you do? I never felt so good in my life. He's going out of his mind. I said, you feel all right?
Starting point is 00:23:17 Yeah. Do you think you can leave the point? Yes. So we load up. He sits next to me and he says, you want to sit by the window? You want to sit by the aisle? I want to sit by the window, he says. He's looking out the window as we're flying away.
Starting point is 00:23:29 He goes, man, I miss flying. in my whole life. I can't believe it. This is the coolest thing I've ever done. This is great. I'm going to fly everywhere now. Oh my God, Kevin. You're just amazing. It was cured. Never came back 100% cured. I'll tell you another story. I'm at a place called Green Valley Spa in St. George, Utah. It was what we call the fat farm. So people who were overweight would go there. And some people would go because just they wanted spa treatments and other people because they wanted to go beautiful high and all the canyon country of St. George, Utah, and also drive up to Zion National Park and do hiking there or go to Bryce Canyon and do hiking.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Or you're a couple, two, three hours away from the Grand Canyon. You can go there and do hiking or sightseeing. But generally, people go there to lose weight. Alan Combs and his wife, Carol, with the owners, friends of mine, beautiful, beautiful place. So I'm there, and I'm there for two weeks to go hiking and eat some good quality food and get some beautiful spa treatments and exercise. and relax and enjoy nature. And there's a bunch of people there that are, you know, very obese that want to lose weight.
Starting point is 00:24:38 In the dining room, I'm having a cup of tea. And there's a woman there. And she's been there about a week, very overweight, beautiful, beautiful gal. And I can't tell you her name, but she was a world famous. She's a world famous, and is a world famous celebrity singer. She was on Broadway. way, large woman. And we were chatting, and I really enjoyed her company.
Starting point is 00:25:07 And I said, you know, you're here to lose weight. Yeah, I'm trying to lose weight. And I said, well, what's the major cause of your weight, you know, challenge? She goes, I'm addicted to Hagenas ice cream, butter pecan. I'm addicted. She goes, Kevin, I'm addicted. It's like I'm an addict, like I'm a crack addict. I can't stop it.
Starting point is 00:25:29 she goes and I've been here a week and that's all I think about. So it's all I'm thinking about it. It's like I dream about it. I think about it. It's like it's unbelievable. And it's not any kind of ice cream. It's butta pecan harkandest ice cream. I'm just, it's like, I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 00:25:47 I'm addicted. I can't have a bite. I have to have a whole pint. And if there's, if I, if I, if, and sometimes I'll just go and get another pint. I mean, it's like a major attic. It's like I'm doing crack cocaine. Okay. I said, you know, I work with this guy named Dr. Roger Callahan who allegedly gets rid of all these type of addictions and phobias and fears and post-traumatic stress disorders and all these type of things.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Maybe if you like, we can try it if you're interested. Because anything, anything, Kevin. And I trust you. So whatever you want to do to me, let's go. I said, all right, well, we have to really get the intent to the up. So I says, you stay right here. have a cup of tea. I'll be back in about 15 minutes. So I walk out and I happened to have rented a car. So I hop in my car and I knew that there was a 7-Eleven right down, right down at the bottom of the hill from where we were, like virtually two minutes away. And I was hoping they had Hagen-Daz ice cream. And usually at that particular time, they did. They did. So I went down, went into the 7-Eleven, and they had the Hagen-East ice cream and they had Balapacan because that was one of the most popular flavors. So I brought it, I brought it back to the, to the place, and I'm thinking,
Starting point is 00:27:00 I'm taking a big risk here. I hope this, hope this Callahan thing works, this thought field therapy. That's what Dr. Callahan called it, thought field therapy. So I walked back in, I open it up, there's a little film that you have to pull off the ice cream. I get a spoon and I get a bowl and I scoop it out into the bowl, but I wanted her to see that it's Hagen-Daz. So I take the bowl, and half of the ice cream's in the bowl, the rest of the half is in the pint. I walk out, she's sitting there at the table, I put it down in front of her. So she's got the pint of Hagen-Dess ice cream, it's half empty, the other half, the half of the ice cream is in the bowl and a spoon.
Starting point is 00:27:43 And I said, on a scale of 1 to 10, how bad do you want this ice cream? And she said, I may actually stab you to eat this ice cream. And if you don't take it away, I'm going to start eating it any second. I said, hold on, tap here. And I have her go through this sequence. Takes virtually 30 seconds. And she looked at me and she said, I don't want it. I go, no, on a scale of one to ten, what's the intensity of the emotion of wanting that
Starting point is 00:28:20 ice cream? She goes, Kevin, it's zero. I don't want it. I go, look, pick up the bowl of ice cream. Smell it. Imagine how delicious it's going to taste. How much you love it. How much you're going to enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Every smooth taste in your mouth. And she goes, I don't want it. I don't want it. What did you do to me? What did you do to me? I don't want it. And I goes, are you using any willpower? She goes, no, I don't want the damn.
Starting point is 00:28:54 thing. Get rid. I don't want it. I said, let's see how long this lasts. So I took it away. I was there for the next two weeks. So was she. And it never came back. She called me six months later. She had lost like 50 pounds. She goes, Kevin, do you realize that that urge never came back? You cured me of the addiction. Now, it was very interesting because Callahan told me that he would work with heroin addicts, people who spoke cigarettes, people who were addicted to crack. cocaine and he would get rid of it and I said how is that possible when those things are physiological addictions he goes most of these the physical addiction is really small heroin's a little bit different because you do have a physical withdrawal but like
Starting point is 00:29:40 cigarettes the nicotine addiction is very mild it's the psychological addiction that is the big one because you know you go to sleep or you get on an airplane you don't have any withdrawal symptoms from nicotine so the nicotine addiction is a mild one and is completely gone within 24 hours. Same thing with crack cocaine or cocaine or marijuana or any of these things. The physiological addictive properties are very mild. It's the psychological ones that you have to get rid of. So he would cure all these people of all these addictions using this technique.
Starting point is 00:30:13 It was just spectacular and mind-blowing. Now, over the years, by the way, he had brought people in to learn the technique and he taught it. One was a guy named Gary Craig, who went off and started his own little offshoot called the emotional freedom technique. EFT. Rogers is called TFT, thought field therapy. What's the difference between the two? Basically, they're both tapping on acupressure meridians.
Starting point is 00:30:47 The real difference is Rogers thought field therapy. When you do it with another person who knows the sequences and can be. work with determining what the exact precise sequences, which there are billions of potential sequences. The effectiveness is infinitely greater than using just one sequence. So I'm going to teach you the sequence right now to get rid of phobias, the five-minute phobia cure, but also get rid of stress, get rid of addiction, get rid of depression. Oh, one other story. You know, Roger went down to, I believe, it was the University of Miami. I remember him telling me historian. So I may have some of the facts a little bit off here, but generally, generally this is
Starting point is 00:31:31 what happened. There's the psychology, psychiatry or psychology department of this university in Florida, I think it was University in Miami, was doing a study. And because I said, look, there's a lot of different therapies out there. There's hypnotherapy. There's psychiatry using drugs. There's rapid eye desensitation, there's, you know, Freud used analysis, right? Past life regression, there's, analysis, cognitive therapy, gestalt therapy, all these different things. So the research department at this major university said, I wonder which one, if any, is better than another, because we've never done any real testing to see the effect. They've never done any testing to see the effectiveness of psychologists or psychiatrists.
Starting point is 00:32:27 That's a whole different story. There's a great book called Psychiatry, the Ultimate Betrayal by Bruce Weissman, who I've interviewed. Phenomenal book, it'll blow the lid off psychiatry and psychology, which is a big scam. But anyway, a quick side note. I think it was Harvard. They did the study. They took a bunch of people that have major psychological problems.
Starting point is 00:32:48 They put them into three categories. One person used psychiatrists, which was drug therapy. The other one went to psychologists, and the third did nothing. At the end of a year, everybody was questioned very intently with this very sophisticated testing. And they found that the people that went to the psychiatrist, 25% said they felt better. Those who went to the psychologist, only 20% said they felt better. but those who did nothing, 80% said they felt a lot better. Think about that study.
Starting point is 00:33:30 That was buried. So back to this University of Florida or wherever it was. So Callahan is brought in because he is now like was in the news. This is 40, 50 years ago, 30 years ago. With this thought-filled therapy thing, you know, he's on CNN curing people. As a matter of fact, when he was on CNN, He was being interviewed by the woman who is the anchor, and he says to her, do you have any addictive or jesophobia?
Starting point is 00:34:05 She goes, I'm an addict. I'm a chocolate addict. I have to have chocolate in my purse. And if I don't have chocolate with me, in my physical possession, I have a panic attack. I'm addicted to chocolate, but not only that, if I don't have it or don't have quick and easy access to it, when I need it, I have panic attacks. And he says, do you have chocolate right now in your purse? Of course, she said, they're live on the air.
Starting point is 00:34:28 And he says, on a scale of one to ten, how bad do you want the chocolate? She goes, as soon as we go to break, I'm having some, it's way past a 10. He goes, well, let's go to break and I'll treat you and see what happens. She goes, all right, let's go to break. So he treats her. Nobody sees what's happening. They come back after the break. And he says, okay, I treated you.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Tell everybody what happened. She says, I don't want the chocolate anymore. As a matter of fact, I took it out of my purse. I threw it away, and it's like the even thought of eating chocolate disgust me now. I don't even want the chocolate. And then she said, if you have any questions for Roger call up, the first caller said, I don't know what he did to you, but you look 15 years younger. She says, I do, I do.
Starting point is 00:35:13 And Roger said, well, the reason is you are under so much stress with the addictive verge and the need to eat the chocolate, whether you have a, phobia. This is causing stress and causing wrinkles and causing you look old. So when we release the energy using the technique, you're going to look 15 years younger. Most people do. Your breathing improves and your health potentially can improve too if your breathing is improving because it's deeper, goes through the diaphragm. You look younger. Energy flows to the body. Color comes back because now the meridians aren't blocked because you broke up the energy and the energy flows through. So let's go back to, I've diverted already three times, right?
Starting point is 00:36:01 So let's go back, let's go back to Roger in Florida. So Rogers in Florida, he's brought down, they have all these, I think it was like 15 or 20 different therapies that were brought in. From thought-filled therapy, which was Roger's technique, to Gestalt. therapy to hypnotherapy, to drug therapy, to electroshock therapy, to psychological cognitive therapy, gestalt therapy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They were all given 20, I think it was, patients who had been confirmed with post-traumatic stress disorder. And these people were having major, major problems in life.
Starting point is 00:36:46 So sometimes they'd feel okay and then sometimes something would happen and they would get triggered and they'd either cry or get angry or feel incredibly depressed and almost suicidal. It was nonstop and it was terrible. So the study was that these people are going to be treated for six months by each of the therapies and then there would be a follow-up study to see if there's any improvement. This way they could determine similar to the Harvard study, which only did two, psychiatrists and psychologists. This was a much more intensive, to see which one, if any of these was producing better results, at least with post-traumatic stress disorder. So Roger went down and said, okay, I'm going to go to Florida, and I'll meet all the patients, and I'll treat them. So he treated all the patients in one day. He gets on a plane, and he leaves. And before he leaves, he tells the dean, I don't need to treat them anymore.
Starting point is 00:37:44 They're all cured. and the dean of the psychology department says, Dr. Callahan, this is a six-month study. You're supposed to work with these patients every week for six months, and then we do a follow-up. I go, Roger says, I don't need to work with them every week for six weeks. They're cured. I use thought-filled therapy. They're cured. And you'll see when you do the six-month follow-up, they're all 100% cured.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Six months later, 100% of Rogers people said that during those six months, they've had no bouts of post-traumatic stress disorder, no, nothing triggered them with a feeling of depression or anxiety or stress or any type of negative emotion. They felt happier and more at bliss and more at peace and calmer than ever before. No stress, no anxiety. They said they were 100% cured. everybody else everybody else it was like 25 to 30 percent of the people said they felt better but nobody said they felt cured everybody was still dealing with and struggling with the post-traumatic stress disorder
Starting point is 00:38:56 the dean said it pains me to say this because it goes against everything that i've been taught and everything that we teach but it seems that thoughtfield therapy the doctor roger callahan technique is the cure for post-traumatic stress disorder. I don't know what else to say. He says, but this turns the whole psychiatry and psychology upside down and inside out. And I don't know what it, he was befuddled. The point being is no one addresses how the mind works. No one knows how the mind works.
Starting point is 00:39:41 And even Roger really didn't know. He just kind of stumbled across this. And I'm not going to get into exactly the mechanics of the mind, but I can tell you, because I can see the energy and I can see the bank and I can see how the mind works. And I know how the mechanics of the mind work, not through theory, but by actually seeing it at that level when you go into that dimension. When you use the Callahan technique, you see the results. I see what's happening in the bank and in the field.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I see the energy dissipating. I see the energy transmuting. I see the energy leaving. I see what's keying in or activating or being stimulated gone permanently. Therefore, you don't have any more issue. I see the brain, neuro pathways change. You just see the results. Oprah saw the results.
Starting point is 00:40:33 All the celebrities on CNN and every place that Roger did this saw the results. Real results. I experienced the results when I was on the pyramid in south of Cancun. I saw the results permanent. And listen, my friends will tell you now, when I go to those amusement parks, I'm the first guy on the highest, scariest, you name it, zero. It was a permanent cure. My friend Archie, God rest his soul, he passed away now, was a permanent cure for fear
Starting point is 00:41:06 of Heights. And I had a guy backstage. I was doing a presentation. There was, I think it was 15,000 people in the audience. And I was going to be speaking. There was a guy backstage who was going to be speaking after me. And he was, I mean, crapping his pants. And I said, have you spoken before in front of people? He says, yeah, but never a crowd this big. And I, I am just, I don't know if I can do it, man. I just don't know if I can do it. And he was rocking back and forth, you know. I said, look, I'm speaking here in about a minute and a half.
Starting point is 00:41:46 On a scale of 1 to 10, where's the intensity of the negative emotion your feeling? Go, stop the charge. I can't even give you a number. Is the higher than 10? Yes. I goes, tap here, tap it. I give him the technique. Boom.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Completely gone. I go and do my speech. I come back. Gives me a high five as he gets introduced, goes out, nails it. He said, I've never felt so good on stage in my life. I says, you're going to feel that way for the rest of your life. That guy, that guy told me later that on that day, he was ready to give up speaking. He had made the decision that he was quitting speaking.
Starting point is 00:42:24 And he wasn't sure if he was actually going to even do that speech, but he already paid. He was already paid. He made a commitment. He was going to do it and never speak ever again. I treated him. and he went out and spoke. And because of that, his speech was so good, he got so many speaking opportunities. Over the next few years, he made over $10 million in speaking.
Starting point is 00:42:46 And he told me, Kevin, if it wasn't for you giving me that little treatment backstage, I don't know where I'd be today. I won't tell you his name, but he's one of the best greatest motivational speakers that you listen to, a dynamic, wonderful, spectacular gentleman that was cured permanently. of that fear and phobia of public speaking. So here is the five-minute phobia cure. And it's very simple to do. But let me give you a couple little parameters here. You can do this on your own and it will be effective. However, if you have somebody work with you, it will work infinitely better. The reason is you have a mind and that mind gets keyed in or activated.
Starting point is 00:43:35 You need to blow out the charge from that samscarer or that contractor energy. It needs to dissipate. So when you are in a state of feeling bad, depressed, anxious, stressed out, if you have a phobia or fear, it's difficult for you to overcome that, even if you do the technique yourself. If you have another person either on the phone, on a Zoom, or in person saying, do this, do this, do this, do this. Their mind is not keyed in. So the formula is one mind plus another mind is always bigger than your bank.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Another way I'm saying it is one mind plus another mind is always bigger than the problem you have. So when you have another person there, it works infinitely better. Secondly, if you have a person who's trained, they can then find out where the issue is and give you a specific customized sequence, that will work 10 times faster and better. Then if you have somebody like me who can see the energy,
Starting point is 00:44:46 I can do it faster and way better because I know exactly what to hit and I know exactly when it blows because I can see it. And people who've done one-on-ones with me, for example, I mean, and you heard me on this show. I got a stack of thousands of letters who say miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle in less than an hour. Because I can see the energy.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Okay. But let's start with what you can do right now. And this will be very helpful. So the points are, and here's the sequence, and here's the procedure. And this is all for free. Phibinophobia, cure, stress, anxiety, fears, okay. This will work. It'll work better if you have somebody.
Starting point is 00:45:33 with you and giving you the sequence based on their training and it'll work infinitely better if I was doing it with you on a Zoom. And I'd say, okay, on a scale of 1 to 10, where's the intensity? And I'd go through the whole system. So here's the sequence. The first thing you do if you do it by yourself is you ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now? But you have to ask that question.
Starting point is 00:45:58 because you have to put your attention on your feeling. If you don't put the intention on your feeling, it's not going to blow. The charge is not going to blow. You have to put attention on your feeling. That's why you have to ask yourself that question. On a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now? You have to acknowledge it. You can't deny it.
Starting point is 00:46:22 You have to acknowledge it. You have to focus in. You have to concentrate. and you have to really narrow in your focus on the issue that you're dealing with. So that's the first thing you do. You have to ask the question. On a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intention to be of the negative emotion of feeling right now? That's number one.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Then number two, whatever that number is, you want it to be, it should be eight, nine, or 10, or higher. The higher it is, the better it'll be in terms of blowing out the charge permanently. It's kind of like if you're trying to kill the dragon, you need to get the dragon out of the cave. If just as tail comes out and you chop it off, the dragon's still alive. Another example is the roots. If you're trying to get rid of weeds, if you just pull the top of the weed out, the roots are still there. The weeds are going to come back. So you need to get all of the root out.
Starting point is 00:47:15 So when you ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now? And if it's a 5, that's okay. If it's a seven or an eight, that's better. If it's a 10 plus, now when you do the technique, you're blowing out the whole thing and you're getting the root out. It's not going to come back. Okay. So the first thing you do is ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10,
Starting point is 00:47:38 what's the intentionally of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now? Boom. Then number two, you say, I want to get over this. That's important that you say those words out loud. I want to get over this. Then you go through the sequence and here's the sequence. It's a side of hand, the other side of hand. here, here, middle finger, right at the nail, the inside part of the nail, other hand, middle finger,
Starting point is 00:48:02 outside of eye, collar bones. Okay? That's the first sequence. Then the second one is between your eye, outside edge of eye, under your eye, here, here, collar bones, and then under the armpit, which is, if you look at, if you go to the nipple and you just go straight under the armpit, It's right under the armpit. You can do both sides like this or this way or one side is fine. I'd like to hit both because there's two hemispheres. Then on your hand, your right hand, little finger on the inside, right here by the nail, inside. Next finger, next finger, next finger, next finger.
Starting point is 00:48:42 And then the thumb on the inside. Okay. Then there's a spot right here. Roger called it the gamut spot. It's right there. So you tap there. It's between in the V. See it's right there, right there in the V.
Starting point is 00:48:57 So you tap here, and then the eye sequences, close your eyes. Open your eyes. Look down to the right, down to the left. Roll your eyes on a circle. Roll them the other way. Hum a little bit out loud. Any notes, but it should be a few notes. Then count the five out loud.
Starting point is 00:49:11 One, two, three, for five. Hum again. Now, relax your face, relax your stomach. Put your attention two inches below your belly button. Inhale through the nose, the stomach goes out a little bit. Exhale through the nose, the stomach goes in a little bit. You do that three times. Breathing normally.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Not just breathing normally. Now you go through the sequence one more time here. Here, here, here, here, here. Under your armpit, either one arm or both. Little finger, next, next, next, next, thumb. Stop. Relax your face. Relax your stomach.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Breathe normally out through your nose. then ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intention of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any? It's gone. You're done. If you still have some, then you say, I want to get over this. And now you say, I can get over this. And you do the sequence again, everything I just taught you. Then ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any? If it's gone, you're done. If there's still some, then you say, I want to get over this, I can get over this, I will get over this, and you do the sequence again. At the end, you ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the
Starting point is 00:50:35 negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any? If the answer is zero, you're done. If there's still some, then you say, I want to get over this, I can get over this, I will get over this, I am getting over this, and you do the sequence again. Then you ask yourself on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any. If the answer is zero, you're done. If not, then you do the next sequence while you say, I want to get over this, I can't get over this, I will get over this, I am over this. And you do the sequence one more time. At the end, you ask yourself on a scale of one to ten, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any, if the answer is zero, you're done. If it's still some, then you say,
Starting point is 00:51:18 I have resistance. Then say, I'm ready to let go of resistance. then you go through the sequence again. Then ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any? If it's zero, you're done. If it's not, then you do the last sequence, which is right above your heart, take two fingers, push and look for a spot that's a little bit tender.
Starting point is 00:51:44 And when you find it, rub it and say out loud three times, I deeply and profoundly accept myself, even if I never get over this problem. I deeply and profoundly accept myself, even if I never get over this problem. I deeply and profoundly accept myself and if I never over this problem, then go through the sequence one more time
Starting point is 00:52:00 and then at that point you say on a scale of 1 to 10 was the intensity of the negative emotion I'm feeling right now, if any, if it's zero, you're done. If it's not, you're still done. And that's all you can do for that day. But if you still have any residual there,
Starting point is 00:52:15 then you absolutely 100% have stuff that's keyed in that's much bigger than your ability to handle it alone. You need to have somebody else with you. There's not a single person, and I've treated thousands over the decades, not a single person who's ever gone that far with me because the energy just blows so fast. When you're dealing with another person, okay, you can't afford me, okay, but you go and deal with somebody else.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Somebody else, just another person who knows the sequence, even your friend, they know the sequence, all they have to do is tell you and just say, do the sequence. They're not even doing a customized version. it's going to be infinitely better. I lost my pockets, look. There we go. See, it matches the time. Okay, so that's the five-minute phobia cure.
Starting point is 00:53:02 But remember, it's not just for phobias. It gets rid of fears, anxiety, stress, depression, sadness. It is fantastic for addictions. And I'm going to give you one last thing here in terms of an addiction. If anybody, let's say you're a cigarette smoker. If you think, I want to quit cigarettes, no, you don't. You say you want to quit, but you don't really want to quit. You want to quit tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:53:32 So here's what I would recommend for cigarette smokers if you do really want to quit. Here's the great, if you came to me and said, Kevin, I kind of want to quit smoking cigarettes, but not today. Can you help me? Yeah, yeah, no problem. So here's the deal. I'm going to give you the quick one. I'll do a whole show on this tray, but I'll give you the quick one for cigarette smoking. If you want to quit cigarettes, here's the good news.
Starting point is 00:53:58 You can smoke as much as you want anytime you want. You make a commitment and it's one simple commitment. It's not to stop smoking. The commitment is every time before you smoke a cigarette, you do that sequence that I just told you. All the way through. So what you do is you start off and saying, on a scale of 1 to 10, how badly do I want this cigarette? 10. Good.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Go through the sequence. And if it gets down to zero, then put the cigarette away and don't smoke it. But if you go through the whole sequence and you still want to smoke the cigarette, smoke it and enjoy it. But the next time you want to smoke a cigarette, just say, look, before I say, I'm not, I'm not quitting. I'm just committing to do the technique before I smoke. I've done this so many times with smokers. They got a cigarette. I was in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at Value Vision.
Starting point is 00:55:01 It was a shopping channel. It was with Blaine Athorn, as a matter of fact. And I get there, they didn't have smoking in the building anymore, so they had smoking outside. And I was doing, I was actually talking about this Dr. Callahan on the show. And the woman says, does that work for cigarettes? And I said, yeah, she goes, well, I'm going outside right now to smoke. can you give me a treatment?
Starting point is 00:55:26 And I said, sure, let's go. I says, the good news is you can still smoke the cigarette after the treatment if you want to. She goes, okay, good. So we walk out and I said, hold up the cigarette to your nose, smell it, imagine how delicious is going to taste. She's like rolling her eyes. Oh, yeah. I said, on a scale of 1 to 10, how badly you want that cigarette, she goes, a thousand, I want it. So go ahead.
Starting point is 00:55:51 You're going to get the smoke, don't worry. I go, so tap here, tap here, and I go through the whole sequence. I said, on a scale of 1 to 10, how bad do you want the cigarette now? She goes, what did you do to me? I don't want it now. I goes, no, hold that cigarette, smell it. Imagine how delicious it's going to taste. I swear to God this happened.
Starting point is 00:56:11 She picks up the cigarette, ugh, because it does stink. She's like, I don't want it. I go, no, no, it's a cigarette. You love cigarettes. it the thought of smoking it disgusts me okay I said well the next time you want one because I know you will I says just call me I'll give you treatment on the phone she goes okay I never heard from her for like three months I went back to value vision I walk in I said hey you never called me she goes I haven't smoked a cigarette since I saw you she goes the thought of it disgusts me the
Starting point is 00:56:43 smell disgusts me you you're like a magician you cured me I go I'm glad it worked that's happened so many many many times. So it also works for that as well.
