Hi, I'm Candice Reeves. My guest today is a marketing legend. He's been called by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today, America's marketing guru, a true marketing genius and the master of modern day marketing. He's known as one of the most successful copywriters and mass communicators of all time. His businesses have generated billions of dollars in worldwide sales, and he's just released his newest course, three keys to internet millions. Kevin, thank you so much for being my guest.
My pleasure. Glad to be here.
So can people really make millions off the internet today?
Right now, Candace, it's easier to make money than ever before in history.
And if you look at 20, 30 years ago, if a person wanted to make money, what were their options?
I can buy a franchise, but I don't have any money.
I can try to start my own business, but I don't have any money.
And in both cases, they don't know what to do.
Where are they going to learn how to run their own business, start their own business?
Where are they going to get that knowledge?
It wasn't available.
So it was really difficult for anybody to really make a fortune, get rich, achieve financial independence.
But today, because of YouTube, there are virtually tens of thousands of videos that teach you,
probably hundreds of thousands, probably millions, that teach you everything you need to know about
running or starting any business or making any type of money.
So the information is out there.
Because of the internet, a person can virtually start their own marketing business online for under 100,
bucks and they can learn exactly how to do it and make money. And we know that because there are
millions of people around the world that are 20 years old or 17 years old or 22 years old
that never went to college, that just sit there in front of the computer and are making
$100,000 a month in income. So it's really easy today. But you still need some guidance. You
still need to know where to go to get the information and you need to know exactly what to do
and you need to know the exact steps.
Otherwise, you're going to be trying to learn by trial and error,
and you could lose a lot of money and lose a lot of time as well.
Oh, absolutely.
But, you know, there's a ton of courses out there on how to make money already, right?
Do any of them really work?
And if they do or if they don't, how is your course different?
Well, there are a lot of people out there that teach how to make money on the Internet.
And it falls into two categories.
The first group are the people that have never made any money,
but they actually teach courses on how to make money,
and that's where they make their money.
So they really don't know.
They know about, but they really don't know.
Then the second group of people is somebody who actually made a lot of money on the internet
marketing, but they really don't know what they did.
Maybe they just kind of caught lightning in a bottle.
You know, they kind of got lucky, if you will, kind of was at the right place at the right
time, everything lined up and they happened to make some money.
So they think they know what the formula was and then they start teaching it.
And then they find out, ooh, I can make a lot of money teaching people how to make money.
So it's really hit and miss.
And this is one of the reasons why I put this together.
There were a bunch of guys that called me and they did a conference call.
All of them were making tens of millions of dollars and had made tens of millions of dollars on the internet.
And they said, Kevin, you're the guy that we studied back in the 70s and 80s with your direct mail and your print advertising.
and we studied all of your infomercials back in the 90s because I was known as the infomercial king.
I did billions of dollars on TV infomercials actually produced more winning infomercials
than anybody in history and the highest percentage of winning infomercials.
They said we transcribed and dissected everything to try to find out what the heck you were doing.
And we came up with, oh, this is what he does.
Oh, this is what he does.
And we started to apply it on the internet and we made all this money.
So why aren't you teaching the stuff that you know and have proven to work?
They're the ones who encourage me to put together a course on Internet Million.
So I actually did two courses.
I did one TV infomercial secrets revealed.
I sold that for $50,000.
It was a five-day video course.
And then I put together the three keys to Internet millions because with the Internet
today, it's really easier than ever because you don't need a lot of money to get started.
If you just know the basic steps, it's easier than making money in real estate.
Remember the real estate courses on TV?
How to buy real estate with no money down?
Then there are all these courses on selling or investing in stocks, trading Forex.
That's an easy way to lose a lot of money.
And now today there's a lot of courses on trading cryptocurrencies.
That's also a lot of way easy to lose a lot of money.
More people lose money than make money.
But the internet is really probably one of the safest and easiest ways.
can keep their job, their full-time job, they don't have to give that up. They can do this nights and
weekends, invest two to three, four, five hours a week and start turning a profit. And then later,
when they build up enough income from their part-time internet business, then they can choose whether
they want to keep their job or not. And it's really a way, I believe, to become financially free
and financially independent. And that would be the goal ultimately, right, kind of building a business,
launching something to kind of let you escape the nine to five. And it's a lot of fun, too.
One of the things that people tell me with internet businesses, and there are several people that I taught these techniques to, one fellow lives in Florida.
He was saying from Tampa.
He lives in that area.
He makes over $100,000 a month with an internet business.
He was in prison when he learned my techniques.
So he came out of prison.
He obviously had a prison record, convicted felon.
That means it's hard to get a job.
It's hard to even rent an apartment.
Unfortunately, you don't pay your, you know, you don't finish your sentence when you get convicted.
of a crime, you have a life-long sentence when you get convicted of a crime.
So he had to start his own business because that way he didn't have anybody telling him no.
So he started his own business with no money, with no education, no experience, but I taught him,
it's easy, just do this, this, this.
He was a good student.
He actually was very teachable, and he did what he was told.
He was excellent at following instructions.
And now he's making over $100,000 a month with an online business.
And one of the things he tells me is I love it because I can travel the world.
I can be on a cruise ship for a month.
And with my laptop or even my phone, I can run my business.
It only takes a couple hours a week.
It's complete financial freedom, but it's also time freedom.
That makes a lot of sense.
So what are the three keys to successfully making money with an online business then?
There are three secrets or three keys that very few people know.
about. The three keys to making money on the internet is learning communication skills. Today,
specifically because of social media, people don't know how to communicate. That's true.
So you must know how to communicate because all money that you earn on the internet is based on
your ability to communicate with a potential customer. You can call it sales copy or advertising,
but it really is communication skills first and foremost.
So the first thing we teach that I teach is communication secrets.
I've been called one of the greatest mass communicators of all time,
and there are very specific secrets of how to get your point across in 60 seconds or less.
There are communication skills.
When you learn them, not only can you apply them,
and I teach you how to apply them on the internet,
it actually is outstanding.
One of the things I get is hundreds of letters from people who say,
I went through the course to make money,
but my gosh, my communication skills now are better,
my relationship with my spouse is better, with my kids, with my coworkers, with my neighbors.
They hear me.
Do you ever feel like I'm not being heard?
Yes.
Well, when you learn the communication secrets, you're always heard.
And none of it does it make you feel good, but the other person then gets what you're saying
and the affinity between you and that other person goes up dramatically because you don't
have a break in communication.
So the first one is communication.
The second one is copywriting.
You have to be able to write ad copy that sells.
Now, whether that's a script for a video sales letter or a direct mail piece, nobody does
that anymore, or ad copy for a full page ad in a newspaper magazine, nobody does that
anymore.
But if you're producing a website or what's called a product landing page on the internet,
you have written copy.
You need to know the secrets of copywriting.
Back in the 70s, I started doing copywriting.
I learned this from some of the masters of copyrightists.
Most of them are dead.
Ted Nichols, Gary Halbert, Frank Zarkona.
These were guys who made billions in today's dollars,
billions and billions of dollars writing ad copy for direct mail pieces and print ads
that were in magazines and newspapers.
So I learned the secrets.
When I combine the secrets of communication with the secrets of copywriting,
I then started getting hired by people to write ad copy.
I produced so many direct mail pieces for other people.
It generated billions of dollars in sales for them.
Now, I got a little piece of the pie.
I got a little percentage.
It was the most amazing thing for me to get royalties sometimes for 10, 20 years later on ads that I wrote.
And people always ask me, how did you become financially free and independent so early?
And the magic was it's called royalties, knowing how to write ads.
ad copy and get royalties paid for sometimes decades on ads that I wrote. And when you added it all up,
it was awesome. But the problem with copywriting is very few people can actually learn how to be a good
copywriter. And I've trained people and I've talked to people and I've given them the techniques
and said, write some copy. And I'm thinking, they're just not getting it. It's kind of like
teaching somebody how to golf.
You know, I'm a great golfer and I'm a pretty good teacher.
And if I teach you how to golf, sometimes you're just not going to get it, right?
But when it comes to copywriting, most people fail.
So what are you going to do?
There was a guy named John Benson who actually wrote the first VSL, video sales letter.
And he was somebody who was a big Kevin Trudeau fan because he learned a lot of, you know,
my stuff and from others.
And he's a genius.
He built an AI program, which uses all of our secret knowledge of how to write compelling ad copy,
which includes something called hypnotic language patterns and embedded commands.
And this is kind of the secret sauce that makes good ad copy, which is impossible to teach.
It really is an innate.
It's more of an art than a skill or science.
But he basically trained AI with all that stuff.
So now anyone can sit in front of a computer and in virtually five minutes get ad copy as good as what I would write.
Now, how do I know that?
I said to John, I said, nah, it can't write as good as me or you.
And he said, well, why don't you test it out?
Okay.
So I wrote ad copy for a guy's product that he was going to use in an email.
So he was going to send out an email to his list with this letter selling a product.
I wrote ad copy and I knew it would work.
So he sent it out.
He hit a home run.
I got a nice percentage on that.
I made a couple hundred thousand dollars for virtually an hour's worth of work.
Perfect.
Then I used the AI program and I had the AI program write the ad copy and I sent it to him and said, try this one.
He goes, oh, this works as good as the other one.
You're kidding.
Well, quite frankly, I was a little bit.
I can imagine.
But at the same time, thrilled because now I thought I can finally genuinely tell someone you can now make money on the internet.
Because before, I really couldn't say that because I knew that it would be difficult for you to write the correct ad copy.
But because of this, and by the way, you can't use chat GPT because it doesn't know the secrets of proper ad copy.
It'll write an ad, but it won't work.
Got it.
or to work average and some of these other AI programs.
But this is the only one.
So that's the second one, the art of copywriting.
Now, that AI program works better when you know what I teach you,
because I teach you how to put into the AI system the correct stuff
so you get even better results.
So the second one is being able to write compelling ad copy.
The third key to success on Internet millions is knowing what and how to market on the
internet. How to build a landing page and what platform to use. How do you do upsells? It's called
an upsell. So when a person buys the first product, you sell them the second product. What happens
if a person goes to the landing page decides not to buy and wants to leave the landing page? Do you have
what's called a rescue page? Which means, wait, before you leave and then gives the person another
chance to buy. There are dozens of little techniques that I teach and I show you the
platforms that have those built in and how to use them.
It basically is plug and play.
So now a person can say, okay, I want to make money on the internet.
And I give you in this third section the other methods of making money where even if you
don't have a product, you can use other platforms and make money as well through something
called affiliate programs, which means you have a product, you have a winning landing page.
And all I do is use Kevin's techniques and get people to go to your landing page.
You make the sale and you pay me a commission.
So now I don't have to do anything except a simple technique to drive people via social media
and things using the methods that I teach to go to your landing page, which you've already
produced and you have a great product and a great sales pitch and you offer a good service
to the customer.
And when you make the sale, you ship the product, you handle customer service.
I don't have to get involved in anything.
I just get a commission.
That's one of the simplest ways where people can virtually make tens of thousands of dollars a month without ever leaving their house.
They can make 10 grand a month in their underwear.
Oh, my God.
That's the dream, right?
Yeah.
Okay, but a lot of people are always asking, isn't the Internet already saturated?
I feel like everyone is already doing everything.
But can a beginner really break through right now?
Yes, it's busy.
I wouldn't call it saturated.
But that doesn't matter because most of the people out there on the internet, just like in my day on TV infomercials or even before me with short form commercials on TV and radio, most of them produce crappy ads.
So somebody came out to me and said, Kevin, you can't make money on the internet anymore because nobody's making money on the internet.
They're producing ads.
They're producing landing pages.
They're producing websites.
They're producing ad campaigns.
they're buying commercials or advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and YouTube,
and they're not making any money.
It's saturated.
I said, that's pretty interesting.
I heard the exact same thing in 1989 when I went into the TV infomercial business.
They said, nobody can make any money.
And I looked at the ads that were running.
You know what I said?
The ads suck.
The reason no one's selling anything is because the ads are terrible.
So I'll give you an example.
I said, it's not the product.
It's not the pitch person.
It's the ad itself.
They're not selling it right.
There was a company called Guthey Rinker Corporation.
Do you remember a proactive solution on TV?
Yes.
Okay.
Remember Tony Robbins?
Okay.
Both of those products were sold via a company called Guthy Rinker Corporation.
It was called that because Bill Guthey and Greg Rinker were the owners.
And I know both of them.
They're great guys and they're a great company.
There was a fellow by the name of Howard Burr.
the world's fastest reader.
He was in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Oh, cool.
So I went to Howard Berg and said,
I want to do a TV infomercial with you
and sell your mega speed reading program on TV.
He says, well, I'm talking to some other infomercial companies
and I'll let you know.
So he called me back and he said,
I decided to go with Guthey Ranker Corporation.
I think they're going to do a good job.
I says, well, okay, good luck.
Fantastic.
I hope you do well.
Then there was another guy who reached out
to called Scott Flansberg,
who was the human calculator.
He had a program called Mega Math, how to do math calculations in your head.
He was on all the major talk shows like Larry King on CNN and Today Show.
And he would actually add, subtract, multiply, and divide in his head faster than you could do it on a calculator.
Oh, that's awesome.
And he said, I can teach anyone how to do this.
And I said, that course is right up my alley.
I want to sell it on TV and commercial.
He goes, I decided to go with Guthey Ranker instead of you.
Then it was a woman named Ellen Kreidman.
She authored a relationship course called Light Her Fire.
It was designed for men to light the fire in their partner, woman partner, to get a better
relationship.
And she had another one called Light His Fire, which was for women to, we're going to teach you
how to light the fire in your guy to have a better relationship.
I said, I want to do an infomercial with you.
She goes, well, I'm talking to Guthranker.
So she called me back.
She said, I went with Guthranker.
I said, well, good luck.
All three of those people who went with Guthey.
Guthey spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on market research, writing scripts, writing ads,
getting the teleprompter for the infomercials, getting testimonials, doing all the things they do for
infomercials.
They spent hundreds of thousands of dollars producing the product and testing the infomercials,
and all of them failed.
Oh gosh.
So they canceled their contract.
Because they failed, nobody in the infomercial business would touch those three people,
because if Guthranker can't make it work, nobody.
could. So I called them up and said, I saw the got the Wrenka commercial. It was terrible. I know how to
sell it. Come with me. So they all came with me. We all sat down and I shot an infomercial with
Howard Berg, the world's fastest reader, Scott Flansberg, the human calculator, and Ellen Kreibund.
I did it in one day before noon. In fact, John, it was right over here. He was the producer of that show.
Oh, that's awesome. One take, one show, but I knew how to sell it. I put them all on the
air, they all were screaming home runs. The mega speed reading, I think, did 30 or 40 million in sales.
Oh my gosh. The human calculator did about 50 million in sales. And Ellen Kreibn's did around 80 million
in sales, all making super profits. It wasn't the product and it wasn't the spokesperson. It was
the sales presentation. Today is exactly the same. If you know how to get your product correct,
which is I teach you how to do that.
And if you know how to put and structure the ad
and use all the techniques, the recipe, it'll work.
And most people I see on the internet today,
I can see they don't know what they're doing.
Some of them are making money by accident, quite frankly,
but they don't know how to duplicate it.
They get the genie in the bottle once, make some money,
but then they don't know what they're doing,
and then they fail and fail and fail.
And they go, oh, you can't make money on the internet today.
No, you can make so much money.
It's ridiculous.
Okay, I'm not a natural salesman or a marketer like you are.
Can I still make money marketing online without having that kind of natural skill set?
Two years ago, I would say, yes, you can, as long as you're not actually doing a video or being the front person.
Because as long as you're the back person, you don't have to be a salesman.
You don't have to be a marketing guy.
I mean, I'm a pretty good communicator.
Okay.
And if somebody isn't, oh, I can't do what Kevin does.
No kidding, but you can sit behind the scenes.
There's a lot of people in this room that are sitting behind the steins.
They're not on camera.
So the great thing about it is anybody here can make money on the internet.
They don't have to be even known.
That's true.
You don't have to be a good copywriter like me because with AI now, and there's only one,
there's only one that works.
All of the other ones don't.
And I tell you which one.
So with that and with the skills I teach, anybody can.
And I'll tell you a story.
There was a fellow who was in prison, who was in prison for like nine years or something.
No marketing skills, no sales presentation skills, convicted felon.
This is the second guy that the first guy told the story earlier.
This is the second guy.
I taught him copywriting technique.
He happened to be pretty good at it because he liked to write.
So he learned the copywriting and I told him,
you can now sell your copywriting services to others and get a,
royalty. That's what I did in the beginning. He came out of prison, started doing that, and within two
years made over $2 million in royalties and commissions from his copywriting work, and all he did
was never left the house. He couldn't because he was on home confinement. He had a bracelet on his ankle.
He didn't have sales techniques or marketing techniques. He was a behind-the-scenes guy.
Now, with AI, anyone could do it. But then he used
the techniques I taught him about internet marketing, teamed up with another fellow, got into
the golf promotional business where he sells golf instructional videos and things, and now has a
company that's doing over $100 million a year in sales.
Wow.
So it can really work for anyone regardless of whether they have sales or marketing experience or
not.
You can be the shyest guy in the world.
You can be somebody who can't even say hello to somebody.
You can be somebody who never wants to leave the basement of your grandmother's house.
And I'm saying this to be funny, but at the end of the end, you know, it's a lot.
end of the day, you don't have to be a charismatic sales and marketing person to make money on the
internet. All you need to do is know the simple steps and then you can. This is making me feel a lot
better, by the way. But what if I don't have like a physical product to sell? You know what I mean?
Here's an error that people make and I'm going to give people a little bit of free advice here.
What most people do is if they, this is what they think. And I'm going to tell you the answer. So they think, I want to make money
on the internet, so I must have a product to sell. So they find a product. And maybe it's a physical
product. And they go, I want to sell this product. And then they try to figure out how to sell
that product. That's 100% wrong. That's a guarantee for failure. That's not how you do it.
A guy years ago by the name of Ben Choiras, who's one of the greatest marketers of all time,
I think he's passed away now, back in the 70s. He wrote a book called Seven Steps to Freedom
how to escape the American rat race, which taught people how to make money on direct mail.
He taught me, he said, Kevin, there's three M's in marketing.
The first one is market.
It's not product.
It's market.
You have to ask yourself, what is there a market for?
What is there a market for?
I have a product they want to sell.
That's not the first thing you do.
You ask, what is there a market for?
Is there a market for soup, canned soup?
That's how Campbell started.
He said people love soup, but they don't want to spend all the time it takes to make soup.
This is back back in the 20s.
So he said there's a market for quick and easy soup.
I can put it in a can, but it costs too much money to ship the water, so I'll condense it.
So they take their can and now they add water and then I can save money on the shipping and it'll be cost effective.
So he found a market and then filled it.
It's called Find a Need and Fill It.
So the first M is market.
Now, the second part of that is, you ever hear this phrase, make a better mouse trap?
Uh-uh.
Ah.
See, I'm teaching things there that people are, I'm too old.
See, I know these stuff.
Now, you didn't hear it.
If you want to get rich, make a better mouse trap.
And the answer was, there's a market for mouse traps.
Everyone's buying mouse traps.
And if you want to get rich, make a better one.
I see.
So you make a better mouse trap.
because if there's already a market for a product, then you can say, I can make that better.
You're going to get rich.
So it's not, I have a product.
You have to find the market.
Second, you have to decide what media are you going to use to sell that product?
Is it TV infomercials?
Is it short form 60-second commercials on television?
Is it commercials on radio?
Is it a print ad in a magazine?
Probably not these days.
Is it running ads on Facebook or Instagram or TikTok or YouTube?
Maybe. That doesn't cost any money. Is it sending out some emails or SMS text messages to a list that you acquire? People don't even know you can acquire those lists of potential customers. So you find out your market, and I teach you that. And then the third one is based on your market that you're trying to solve and based on the media that you've chosen, then what is the message? And that is the sales presentation. And that's where the magic is. If you hit the first two buttons,
I got the market figured out and I got my media decided upon.
Now, how do I present the message?
That's the most critical.
That's why the world's fastest reader, the human calculator, and Ellen Kreidman,
they had the market covered, speed reading.
People wanted to do that, you know, read more and less time and remember more new math calculations.
And you had parents wanted their kids to do better at math because they had math phobias.
math anxiety, Ellen Kreiman, everybody wants a better relationship.
So there was a market for those products.
They decided the media, the media, which was TV infomercials, but their message sucked.
They had a terrible message.
And that's where I came in.
I just made a better message, and it was a screaming home run.
So those are the three Ms.
And I teach that in the video course, three keys to internet millions, which takes only a few hours to go through.
and then people know exactly what to do, and after they do it, they can start making as much money as they want.
Have these three keys worked for you so far and for others that you've taught?
Well, I got involved in direct marketing back in the 70s.
I wrote direct mail.
I did short form commercials on television for products that you wouldn't even know,
Ginsu Knife, Armacococor.
These were the legendary ones that everybody knew at the time.
There's a few old.
There's nobody old here, except John.
Do you remember the Ginsu Knife or the Armacocococco?
Yeah. Everybody else is like, what is he talking about?
But these were commercials that actually gave out for the first time in history an 800 number.
Called the 800 number on your screen to order the Visa or MasterCard.
And this was only 20% of the people in America had a Visa or MasterCard.
So this was back in the 70s and 80s, actually in the 70s.
So I did that. But then I took all these techniques, TV infomercials, direct mail, print ads,
short form TV and radio. And then I applied it with the internet. And I,
I looked at it and I said, you've got to be kidding me.
It is easier today to make money than ever before.
I mean, we had hundreds of employees back in my day when I had companies doing billions of dollars
of sales around the world.
Now you don't need anybody.
It's a one-man show.
You can have a company doing $10 million a month in sales.
And I have a friend of mine in the Cayman Island who told me he was doing $10 million a month
in business.
Oh, wow.
And guess how many people he has working for him full time?
Two. That's it?
Himself and an accountant.
Because to count the money, to count the money.
The other people are all what's called outsourced.
So he uses people around the world as needed, but no one's even on salary.
He doesn't have an office.
Oh, wow.
Works out of his house.
I'll give you an example.
I get a stack of comments from people that have gone through both the three keys to internet

I feel like people today need more of like a mindset shift.

Well, you know, a lot of people who are successful in life talk about the importance of having a dream.
So I would always encourage people to ask yourself, what do I want?
Don't think small.
There's a great book called The Magic of Thinking Big.
And the first two chapters actually hit the nail on the head.
Chapter one says, believe you can succeed and you will.
And the second one says, cure yourself of excuseitis, the failure disease.
You see, broke people are always good at one thing, making excuses.
So I would just suggest that anybody watching, if you want to make more money saying, get out of debt,
achieve some level of financial security or financial freedom.
Maybe you don't want to become a multimillionaire.
Maybe you just want to make a few extra $100 a month to help out.
Yeah.
You don't have to say, I want to make $100,000 a month or a million dollars a year.
Maybe you say, hey, an extra $1,000 a month part time.
You know, I like my job.
I don't want to quit my job.
I just want a little extra.
You can do it.
But dream big.
Ask yourself, what do you want?
And whatever you want, you can achieve.
And if you get the course and go through it, I can guarantee you will be inspired, you will be motivated,
and you'll start actually believing in yourself to a level that you've never thought possible.
You'll actually start thinking, you know, I can do this.
Henry Ford said it best, I think.

I mean, I go to see people all the time and they go, Kevin, how do I sell this product?
I want to sell this product and get risk.
This is the product.
You're a marketing genius.
How do you do?
I'll pay you $50,000 for some consultation to sell this product.
And I go, don't waste your money.
That ain't going to sell.
Yeah.
And they go, they get so mad.
I go, why are you trying to make a pig sing?
You waste your time and annoy the pig.
I mean, look, stop trying to sell that product.
What's the market?
What do you try?
Did you make a better mouse trap?
No.
Are you trying?
What's the need?
Where's the band?
Okay, here's another phrase that you've probably never heard of because you're too young.
But it was, it was find a need and fill it.
Do you ever hear that?
No, I knew you.
You got me.
I knew you.
But in my day, this was basic business.
You want to succeed in business?
Find a need and fill it or make a better mousetrap.
And so the biggest thing that people today, because they don't know those two phrases, like you do,
and that's okay, but now you do.
The biggest problem people today have in terms of not making money on the internet is they don't
find the need and fill it or they don't make a better mousetrap.
They focus on trying to sell some product.
that they're passionate about and four other people are in the world.
It's never going to sell.
So what are my last questions or pretty much last question I think that's the weighing heaviest
in my mind?
Why did you make this course overall?
Like what was your why?
My biggest why is I see people struggling when they shouldn't and they don't have to.
I've been, people say you've been blessed and lucky.
No.
I worked my ass off.
I made lots of mistakes.
I've lost used amounts of money.
What I've learned.
In life, you either win or you learn.
And when I didn't win, which was a lot, especially early on in my career, I made sure that I learned.
So from every failure, I learned something.
John D. Rockefeller, one of the richest men of all time, in today's money, he was worth $700 billion,
which is bigger than anybody.
He said in every adversity are the seeds of a greater benefit.
You have to find them.
So every adversity or every failure is a blessing.
Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times trying to create the incandescent light bulb.
They asked him, a journalist said, you were a journalist.
The journalist said, how did it feel failing 10,000 times on your quest to create the
incandescent light bulb?
Edison said, I didn't fail 10,000 times.
I successfully found 10,000 ways it didn't work.
And he said, and every time I failed, I learned something and it got me closer to the
answer. This is a mindset. It's called, you can call it the millionaire mindset. Instead of
having broke mentality, you have millionaire mindset mentality. So the point is there are people
out there struggling. In today's economy, people don't have money. In America specifically, but all over
the world, we have a lower standard of living and lower quality of life than we did back in the
50s and 60s. Nobody wants to admit that, but that's the fact. People don't have money to buy nice
clothes. People are buying used homes. I think that's funny. But back in the 50s, over 60% of all the
homes purchased were brand new homes. You actually bought land and built your own home. People bought
new cars. Now the majority of cars are old cars. You're buying used cars. So we don't have the same
standard of living in quality of life. People can't afford to buy nice clothes. I'm doing a podcast
and I'm dressed up in a suit and tie. We were talking about this before. I had my fedora hat on.
I'm sitting outside, smoking a cigar.
A woman comes out to me.
She looks at me all dressed up and she says, are you filming a movie?
And I said, no.
She goes, well, you go into a funeral or something or a wedding?
I go, no, I'm going to dinner.
And she's looking at me like, why are you dressed up?
I go, because I like nice clothes and I can afford it.
So people out there don't know what's available to them.
They don't know what they have in their hands.
And today is the greatest opportunity they've ever had to make money
and achieve financial freedom and independence.
for themselves and their family. I feel, since I know how to do it and it's so easy today,
I have an obligation to share that with others. And I'm not forcing it on any money. If somebody
doesn't want to try this course, good. Good luck. I have no problem. It doesn't affect my lifestyle.
Everybody knows their situation better than I do. But if they don't do this or at least check it out,
what are they going to do? Exactly. Stop pitching, whining and complaining.
Take action today. That's correct.
I mean, you've got to do something. And today is, it's today. You know, Bill Gates, one of the richest guys in the world, was on Larry King Live on CNN. A lot of people don't remember that show, but it was a live show on CNN. And Larry asked Bill Gates, you're one of the richest men in the world. What's your secret to success? He says, Larry, I was at the right place at the right time. And I think luck has a lot to do with that. Well, you kind of create your own luck with your own thoughts. So, anybody,
watching, you're at the right place at the right time. And you're not watching this by accident.
But Bill Gates said, but Larry, there were a lot of people at the same place I was. The difference was
I had vision. I saw the potential in the computer business. Most people didn't. You have to have
depth of vision. A lot of people watching this and they don't have vision. They don't see the
potential of the internet and for themselves. I was in Denver, Colorado. I was sitting at a bar
There was this guy next to me.
And we started chatting.
He was the past president of Tandy Corporation, which at the time was one of the largest companies in America.
So I said, what's the secret to your success?
And he said, vision, seeing the potential on things.
And he goes, explain that to me.
So there was some matches when you could smoke inside because people were smoking at the bar.
So there were matches there in Astros.
He grabbed the pack of matches.
And he says, imagine this pack of matches is an acorn.
With depth of vision, what do you really see?
And I looked at it, I said, if I say food for squirrels, I know I flunked the test.
So I said, I see a tree.
And he goes, good.
You know what I see?
I see a forest.
He goes, that's the difference between you and I, the size of our vision and time.
He goes, you don't see the true potential yet, figuring that out.
And I'll never forget that.
So Bill Gates said being at the right place at the right time, but number two, having depth
of being seeing the potential in things. And if a person doesn't see the potential in the internet
and their own potential, they're never going to achieve success. And then the third thing,
Bill said, but Larry, there were a lot of people at the same place I was. And there were some
people that had the same vision. We talked about it. The difference was I took massive and
immediate action. They talked about it. Successful people are always too busy doing what the other
guys are still talking about. That's the difference.
So there are people today watching this right now, thinking, oh, I'm at the right place at the right time.
I see the provision.
I'll maybe check this out tomorrow.
Excuseitis and they don't take massive and immediate action.
Unless they take massive and immediate action, they're never going to achieve their dreams.
A.L. Williams, who started the A.L. Williams company, which was a multi-level marketing company for insurance, which became prime America, became a billionaire, wrote a great book, simple title, Do It Now.
which is take massive and immediate action.
And that's what I would encourage people to do.
At least check it out and inquire.
It's not that expensive.
But unless you do this, what are you going to do
to achieve financial freedom and independence
for yourself and your family?
This is not for everybody.
Making money on the internet and doing this
is going to appeal to some people.
It's going to resonate.
And with others, it's not their thing.
They want to open up a florist shop.
Okay, I get that.
Do something.
So that's why I offered this.
There's not a person on the planet that knows the marketing data that I know because all the young guys today, they all studied my stuff.
I talk to them.
I mean, they call them.
Oh, you're a legend.
You're a legend.
You're around during the 70s.
I wasn't even born then.
And you were making millions of dollars.
I go, yeah, well, yeah.
So I know things that I can teach them, and I am, but I know things that I can teach a beginner so that they don't have to make all the same mistakes I,
did. Think about this way. Experience is the best teacher. Do you ever hear that? Okay. Well, it's not true.
Oh, it's not. Experience is the best teacher as long as it's somebody else's experience.
Oh. Why should you have to make all the, why should you have to make all the same mistakes that I did?
Good call. So I can give a person all the shortcuts. Yep. I got to the top of the mountain. I know all
the road blocks. I know all the disaster areas. I know where the roads washed out. And I know all the
shortcuts. Follow this plan and you can achieve all of your dreams. Absolutely incredible. Kevin Trillo,
