Hello, everyone. This is Chris Kerner here, your host of startup gems, or should I say what was formerly known as startup gems. And I have a confession I make today. My confession is that every episode you've been listening to has been an AI generated version of my voice. It has not actually been my voice. I was very public about this on Twitter, but you might have found us from some other means and didn't know that. So, yep, that's what's been going on. This has been a test. We were testing to see if we could have a successful podcast with an AI generated clone of my voice. And the test was a failure because not a lot of people listen to this thing, at least not nearly as many as we would have liked. And so we're pivoting the podcast as of today. This is going to be

a 10-week test. And we are one week into it. So we've got nine more episodes. And it's going to be called Kerners Corner. And what Kerners Corner is is it's basically a live call-in show for entrepreneurs or people that want to be entrepreneurs to ask for my advice. Think Dave Ramsey for entrepreneurs slash entrepreneurs because that is one thing that I do know very well is starting businesses and growing businesses. I've been doing it since I was nine years old, which that makes for 28 years now. And I love it. It is absolutely my passion.

It's my only hobby. It's what I live, eat, sleep, and breathe. So I'm pretty good at it. I currently own six companies right now that do tens of millions in revenue. and I'm always starting more. So I'm living business, I'm living startups, and I love talking about it and talking to people. And so Kerner's Corner will be a live unscripted call-in show hosted on Twitter spaces. My handle on Twitter is MHP underscore Guy, MHP as in Mobile Home Park.

And so if you want to call in live, then follow me on Twitter. And I will tweet about it every Friday at noon Central Standard Time up until, April 26th because that's the last day of this 10-week test. And you can call in. I say call in. You just connect to spaces and then raise your hand. And then Heath, my moderator, will let you in if you are the first in line because there's usually quite a few people requesting to be in. And you can ask any question. Maybe you ask, how do I grow up my business? Or I have a business idea. What do you think about it? Or I feel like my business partner is screwing me. What should I do about it? Or I feel like my employee is not pulling their weight. What should I do about it?

or can I just tell you about my business? Can I just brag to you about how good my business is doing? And that's great too. So whether you need advice or you just want to brag or tell us about your cool idea, call in to Turner's Corner. And then we will publish it on YouTube and on all the podcast platforms. And then it will be live on Twitter only. So we'd love to have you.

In 10 weeks, if this is growing and I'm enjoying it and you guys are loving it and the feedback is great, then it will be a permanent thing. If it's not, if I don't really like it, it's not really giving me energy or if the feedback is just okay or the growth is pretty flat or non-existent, then I'm just going to ax this whole thing. I'm not going to do it. So this is a test. It's a public startup test, if you will. And the episodes will last one to two hours. And the first one we did was a lot of fun. It's on YouTube. But last week, we had someone call in about their street sweeping business in Southern California or a guy making real estate websites or a guy that owned two RV parks in Northern Alabama. It was really fun. And then one guy called in with a moving company in Northern Virginia, and I told him to quit his job because he's crushing it.

And he needs to quit his job so he can grow his business even more. It just made sense. And I think you'd agree with the advice when you hear it for yourself. So everything is live, improv, impromptu. There's no submitted questions beforehand. There's no audience plants. And so come watch me, if nothing else, fall on my face and look like an idiot.
