The Kristian Harloff Show - $226 Million?! Star Wars: Starfighter's Real Budget & What It Must Make to Break Even

Episode Date: October 23, 2026

Is Disney spending WAY too much money on Star Wars: Starfighter? New financial reports reveal that Star Wars: Starfighter, the upcoming Lucasfilm movie starring Ryan Gosling and directed by Shawn Levy..., has already accumulated approximately $226.5 MILLION in production costs! On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we're breaking down the massive reported Star Wars: Starfighter budget, how it compares to previous Star Wars movies, and whether Disney and Lucasfilm are taking an enormous financial gamble on the next chapter of the franchise. According to newly reported production filings, the film accumulated $226.5 million in costs through January 2026, although UK tax credits reduced the net spending to approximately $175 million at that point. With additional post-production expenses still to come, what will the final cost look like? Set approximately five years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Starfighter introduces a new adventure with an ensemble cast including Ryan Gosling, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Amy Adams, and Aaron Pierre. With Shawn Levy coming off the enormous success of Deadpool & Wolverine, could Starfighter become the massive theatrical hit Lucasfilm needs? Or does spending this much money on a Star Wars movie featuring largely new characters create unnecessary financial risk? We're also discussing another HUGE budget story involving Harry Potter! HBO's upcoming Harry Potter television reboot is reportedly becoming one of the most expensive television productions ever made. With massive sets, visual effects, an ambitious adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books, and a long-term commitment to the Wizarding World, HBO is making an enormous investment. Can the Harry Potter series justify its massive production costs? Will a more faithful television adaptation deliver something the original movies couldn't? And could Harry Potter become HBO's next major franchise television event? #StarWars #StarWarsStarfighter #RyanGosling #ShawnLevy #Lucasfilm #Disney #HarryPotter #HBO #WizardingWorld #JamesBond #007 #DenisVilleneuve #PoisonIvy #ThePenguin #LaurenLeFranc #DCStudios #Batman #Carrie #MikeFlanagan #StephenKing #MovieNews #KristianHarloffShow 00:00 The Show Starts 02:40 Star Wars: Starfighter's Budget $226 Million? 07:13 Carrie Renewed For Season 2 14:17 Warby Parker & Rugiet 17:52 HBO's Harry Potter TV Series Too Expensive? 23:11 Kristian's Thanks His Audience  25:45 Q&A 🚀 Our Show Is Trending HAS launched on Kickstarter! Starting point is 00:00:00 Starfighter is getting, has a big, big fucking budget. And then you got other shit going on. So you got, what else is happening? Carrie TV show renewed for season two. Harry Potter reboot, reportedly one of the most expensive shows ever made. So that's the show today. Me and Winston, let's do it. It's the show.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Winston's here. And we got some stories to talk about today. The first story is Starfighter. And Starfighter is, what the hell is it? So it's got a big budget, Winston. They said it's got, we can't, oh, yeah, by the way, can't do stream labs. StreamLiv sucks my fucking balls, so we can't do it.
Starting point is 00:00:50 So now we have Starfighter. And Starfighter is Luke, PLD, somebody bring up the story because you can't find it here either. So if you guys can bring it up. I got it here. Just added myself. Now, now, what is that? that is the stream labs on its but how did he do that through super chat okay so it's it's hooked up through
Starting point is 00:01:18 super chat so how if he's if he's doing that through super chat then how do we get that to go through it's connected through super chat right but it's not connected through the i can't because nobody on the team can can can't can't everybody was just staring and i can't no we can't we can't we can't We can't figure it out. Give me a second. So here's what we're going to do. Full disclosure, I'm really tired from yesterday. It was a long day.
Starting point is 00:01:51 And so we're going to, we'll talk real quick about the Starfighter story. And I'll get to if there's maybe Q&A or something. And then we're going to call it a day this weekend. Yeah, because we can't, I was trying to do the, today's supposed to be the it's because the last day of the campaign so we're trying to get the Schmobot so we can try to get to that
Starting point is 00:02:16 Deerrengi I know people want to do a live event and I like to do also but there's only so much that we can do you know obviously with the budgets and stuff so I think that's it I think that's it so let's nobody knows nobody can figure it out I'm trying to work on it right now all right so where is the
Starting point is 00:02:37 Starfighter has 226 million. I don't know, dude. You know what? It was a bad choice to try to do this today. I think that. PLD, what do you think about this story? How are you feeling about it? Well, I think it's pretty okay to me, 175 with the tax credit of $51 million. I think that's a fine budget for this kind of adventure. I think it's Sean Levy, Ryan Gosling in there. I think it's good enough. It's not like a Mandalorian grub type film. So I think this should be a decent or enough size budget, but not too extravagant. It's not like it's way over. So with the tax credit, I think we should be okay.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Sounds good. Winston? I mean, the tax credit, I think, will definitely help, but I think that the one issue, by having the budget still be as high as it is, you've backed yourself a little bit into a corner of the movie needs to be successful. I think that was always the case, but I think that they really can't miss now,
Starting point is 00:03:32 just knowing that the budget is that high. Right. I hear that. It does seem. I mean, it's not exactly, it's not the episode X budget. So that makes me curious about what the episode X budget, well, episode 10 budget will be if this is the case from the smaller, the smaller so far adventure.
Starting point is 00:03:51 But does have some name actors and does have some name budget. I mean, it's going to be interesting to say how they can do it. But definitely does, definitely does need to hit at this point with that kind of a, hopefully it will. I agree. I mean, it's one of those things that, like, I'm not, I will still have faith that Star Wars will figure itself out. and I feel like it is too big to just completely implode,
Starting point is 00:04:15 but it doesn't mean that they don't need to, like, really focus in and do what they plan on doing. And I think the plan, you know, hearing so far what they're going to do, like I'm having faith here. And Starfighter, I still feel excited about it. I just, again, anytime budgets get this big, I get nervous. I get really nervous. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I mean, Sean Lovie has done this big budget before. He's been a hit before. This has got more, obviously, a lot more hype than Mando and Grogu ever had. at this point. So I think if they connected to episode 10, which I think will get a little more exciting because it's an episodic series, that seems to be the big thing. It's like if it's Star Wars and an episode that's going to bring even the casuals back. So we're going to connect that to that any kind of way, which I think we will. I think you're going to get some kind of connection towards the end. This is the first post-Rise of Skywalker films, this is not a TV show.
Starting point is 00:05:01 So nothing else we've got, like I said, names attached to it. I think it's in good shape to go. It is a little higher than I thought it would be, but 175, if you look at that 175 with the tax credit, That's not overly extravagant for a Star Wars movie. Right. So, let's say. I mean, it's a kind of an norm kind of a film budget for this kind of, like, big spectacle. I mean, I saw the sneak teaser. I mean, it was a leaked teaser, but it looked like it definitely looked epic on the screen from what I saw,
Starting point is 00:05:27 this small amount of screen time I saw. So I think I'll be good. I think it'll be good. I'm trying to do, I think this might potentially work for, the shmobot if we can get it going but let's see I don't know yeah oh wait that might let's see so good we'll try you guys just just if you can just you can maneuver the I just keep going through the stories and I'll let you guys yeah absolutely and also on this one once did you have no I think that's
Starting point is 00:06:12 pretty much, it's pretty much everything. You said it was mainly the credit and just kind of seeing where that's going. I'll just have one thing to it. You guys have mentioned no Christian's before. I always want to throw it out there. This is not, like, this is, it's so weird because if Filoni's taking over, like people are going to judge him on this. It's not Volone's thing.
Starting point is 00:06:28 This is obviously he was even fully on board considering it's an other lone wolf and Cub story. So I think that this is kind of like, it's got to get, we got to get past this at this point. Then episode 10 will be the real determination of where we are. Kind of like Manna Tomorrow from the DCU, episode, 10 will be the real absolute determination. I think this is a big step, though, obviously. This is obviously with a bigger budget.
Starting point is 00:06:47 You've got to bring it back to something, a Clayface situation either. But I do think that if this is not successful, it's a danger with episode 10 is the real, like, litmus sense of where we are with Star Wars at that point. Right. It might. Oh, so still couldn't connect it. Oh, wait, is that right?
Starting point is 00:07:04 Hold on, wait a minute. Hold on. We're holding. Keep going. Keep going. Okay. All right. Go ahead. Let's keep it pushing on to our next story.
Starting point is 00:07:12 man we got to talk about it that carry the carry tv show it was apparently successful enough that it's gotten a season two i haven't had a chance to check it out yet have you uh i did i i'm a huge mike i'm a huge miche leningan fan on uh he's my favorite current director film director and and uh many and actually a steering director as well at this point or serious director i should say i've been looking forward to his dark tower story that he's doing it was even gang that but i guess there's been a lot of issues with the uh getting all the rights disentangled so him doing Kerry. I was not excited about it because I've seen Carrie don't allow it. I'm like, oh, I want to see something new from Flanagan. I want to see something new. I don't want to see
Starting point is 00:07:48 another version of the story. But when you watch it, it's phenomenal. It's updated. It's modernized. There's a story line that's not added to the original book that really kind of leaves it open for a season two and hopefully three like he initially planned. It's really, really well done. The performances are phenomenal. Matthew Lurich's phenomenal. Kee, Sackawks, phenomenal. The actress Summer Howell plays Carrie. Wow, really good. So this is a very, very welcome news in the PLD household for sure. I put the link in the chat.
Starting point is 00:08:20 I don't know if it's going to work, but if somebody wants to try one, I think we're doing the Schmobot at like $20. Basically what it's going to say is if we get it working, I'm not sure if we are, but if it, for $20,000, basically what you can do is you can interrupt the show with a, and we're only doing this for today if we can even get it working. We used to do on S-E-N, and you can say, and you can put stuff in there, you can talk and we'll read it and everything that goes there we'll go to the kickstarter today for the last day so we're trying to get to that we're trying to get to that 300 mark
Starting point is 00:08:54 because there's exclusive tickets for the schmodeown that's still available there's about seven seven or eight of them left you can go over there we're about 25,000 away from that right now so we're about 175 currently right now so let's see um And then, I don't know, PLD, even if you try and I'll just, I'll give it back. That's right. I mean, I'm looking for the link. I was getting, I already planning to do sell my black. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:21 It's issue. Did you see it? I see the link. Yeah. And you can pin that too. That was not me. So I'm going to go. It's super chat again, too.
Starting point is 00:09:32 So I'm trying to see, I'm looking at it here. And if I go. All right. It does say, unfortunately, it says you're offline. can't tip this streamer right now. I can try through Super Chat and see if that works for the $20. It's so weird because
Starting point is 00:09:49 when I say that, no, no, no, the Super Chat. Super Chat's not going to, it's not going to do it. Because if, when I go to try to do this, it's before my, yeah, I'm trying to set it up. Hold on. And I'll let you know.
Starting point is 00:10:08 If you guys want to keep talking about, it's not going to be a normal show today guys we're just trying to figure out if we can do this because like I said it's the very last day I'm and I'll be completely honest the only reason I'm doing this day is I want to make sure that Winston gets a show in because otherwise I would cancel it um but let's see um it says that we're linked to stream labs and ready to take payments in the site so I don't understand fresh again see um says you're offline that's what says to me what does that mean Luke anything? you're offline. I don't get it. Where's Malcolm when you need them? Where's Alex?
Starting point is 00:10:45 You feel you stink at this. This was never my purview. I got to produce S-E-N for about a day and a half. It says you're all set. You're linked to stream labs, ready to take payments on your site. All right, I'll try again. So, connect. Did that already.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Let's see. Do D? Are you actively helping in with this? Nope, you can keep on going. I will say about Carrie. Last time I want to say about Carrie is also that I'm looking forward to the actressist as well from Flanagan, the new Exorcist movie coming out. I think it's all going to be really good. A good Flanna year for us.
Starting point is 00:11:44 That's fair. I don't need to see any more exorcism anything. I'm good on that shit, bro. That's fair. But yeah, this is the Apple Prime video show. It announced that Mike Flanagan's Cary's second season is happening. Flanagan adapted Stephen King's novel and will continue a showrunner, an executive producer for season two in interviews he had previously teased a three-season plan for the show. Pick-up comes just two weeks after the first season debuted on the streamer and generated a bunch of conversation with mixed reactions to the liberties Flanagan had taken with the material, even as King approved the adaptation executive producers.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Peter Freelander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studio says in a statement, Carrie is connecting with both long-term. time Stephen King fans and a new generation altogether, including young adults and international audiences with particular strength among female viewers. It speaks to the enduring power of the story and signals that Mike Flanagan's reimaging of the iconic IP has real breadth. We're excited by where he and Stephen Planned to take the story. Prime Video says that the series was number one on the Amazon-owned streamer in more than 100 territories in the first two weeks. Flandigan directed four of the season's eight episodes. So yeah, I mean, again, it's something that is certainly on my radar to, like, I do like
Starting point is 00:13:01 the story of Carrie. It doesn't hit me the same way that other horror stuff does. So, like, I'm curious about it. So to hear everything that you said, PLD, it sounds like this second season is well-deserved. Yeah. I think you actually, if you take a look at this one, I think you might actually like the story even better. It's got a little bit more meat to the bones, so to speak.
Starting point is 00:13:19 It's more like an X-Men story than anything else. There's some more X-Men. Yeah, definitely some of the way that I was going to go. I will say the performance is like, it's great seeing like more humanistic, humanizing, not humanizing the villains in a way, but like it gives them more of depth of character. And like the person who plays the Chris Arkinson, who's the bully and the carry story, you got to have like a little bit of not empathy for her because she's like still a bitch, you know, but she like really, you see why she's making decisions and why she's making these bad decisions.
Starting point is 00:13:50 you want her to make the right decisions, but it's just a really great humanizing performance for a little show. I love it. Word, man. All right. Well, y'all let us know what you're thinking about it. If you are watching Carrie and how you feel about a second season popping off, because this is happening.
Starting point is 00:14:05 And we want to know what you're thinking. Please send in your comments and your chats and all that kind of stuff. All right. We'll get to, you know, why we look for this, we'll tell you guys about our friends over at Warby Parker and Ruggia. Thank you to Ruggiet and to Warby Parker, of course. All right, what else we got? Okay, so up next, we've got the Harry Potter reboot out of HBO is apparently one of TV's most expensive shows ever made.
Starting point is 00:14:35 This is written by Mike's best friend in the whole entire world, Mr. Josh Wilding. Don't do that anymore, though. We got we got to, we got to end that. I don't want to bring that up anymore. No worries. Please. Unsurprisingly, it appears HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series will like. be the most expensive TV show ever made by the premium cable network.
Starting point is 00:14:55 The first season adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone premieres this Christmas, while season two based on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is currently shooting. According to deadline, a company Plum Jam Productions has been set up to produce Harry Potter, and it recently filed earnings for 2025 under with the U.S.K. Company's house. The accounts reveal that the company's revenue of 130.6 million. pounds or $170 million. Last year, when Harry Potter, the Philosopher's Stone first one in production, in 2024, when development first got earned away, plum jam productions revenue was 18.4 million
Starting point is 00:15:33 pounds or $24 million. As the trade explains, the figure suggests that as much as 150 million pounds or $201 million could have been spent embarking on the Harry Potter television project. Taking Plum Jan productions earnings as a rough guide, Harry Potter's first season could average out at around 18.8 million pounds or 25.2 million dollars per episode. Though an estimate, it would mean that Potter comfortably sits in the same big budget bracket as the final season of Game of Thrones, which was widely reported to have cost $15 million an episode. A source close to the series explained that Harry Potter has a high up front cost
Starting point is 00:16:13 because of the lavish sets that had to be built at Warner Brothers Studios, Levinson. Many of those will be used throughout all seven seasons, helping lower the average budget on future episodes. Remember, most of the story takes place at Hogwarts. Now, there's nothing special about Harry Potter. At least that's what... Oh, that's just basic. This is what Harry Potter is.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Okay, great. Yeah, so, PLD, you hear that, man. I think the set thing kind of instantly calm me down when I started to hear that they outshot the Game of Thrones final season budget by 10 million an episode. But hearing that it's, you know, hey, we have to build Hogwarts and then we're going to be here for the rest of the time so we don't have to do that again.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I feel like it's still an issue, but it's not the worst thing in the world because now this just feels like an investment. Yeah. No, this is definitely, I mean, it's balzy for sure to the, they're committing to the full board, which is probably the way they have to do it if they're going to make it right. But it is such a, I mean, this is kind of property that sells itself to family. and everything else. So I can't I got to feel like this is if they're going to make a big budget decision like this, this is probably one of the properties to do. Um, because we
Starting point is 00:17:26 haven't had much in this world since the, obviously the not so great other ones. I'm good. That sounds good. Uh, not so great. Uh, fantastic piece movie did not hit. It's not good. It's like, now, now I can't even turn this thing off. And it's every time, every time someone puts a, like it does that now. Um, but but this is the big universe, is the big Bane. property here. So that kind of thing, you set that up for a series every year. If they commit to it it goes on, then I think it's actually a pretty solid investment overall. And like you said, that once that is built, all of a sudden you have season two through seven, you got your set
Starting point is 00:18:01 pretty much built for the whole show that's going to put on the budget for the rest of the series. So it feels like it's a lot of money, but it's not a lot of money if you're talking seven seasons. Yeah, I mean, I guess that's my question. Do they already greenlight that we're just doing all of the series or they're just they're in it and they know they've already got one and two going right now. I believe they've only officially like greenlit the first two seasons
Starting point is 00:18:26 I believe but I think it's kind of one of those soft green light situations in a way where that's the plan because I think they expect this to hit. I mean now if this bombs and if this bombs and they're definitely in trouble with that but I don't I have a hard time believing this bombs at least the very first season is going to be
Starting point is 00:18:42 out of curiosity if nothing else I think people will come people who like the movie people who like the books. They're going to come check it out. Now, if they can't maintain it and it's not good, and then season two and three start going down, and we start hitting that rings of power thing, where all of a sudden it's like,
Starting point is 00:18:56 well, we're committed to this, but are we going to be able to make it through? I don't know. But again, if you're going to do it, this is probably one of the properties to take that shot. Yeah, no, I agree with that at the very least
Starting point is 00:19:09 of how popular the IP is. So we will certainly see... It's still coming through. Shit. you hit the uh you hit the i turned the fucking eye off i did the everything now uh what you can do at bare minimum to get rid of that because you can always add it back is you can just click on it and then remove it the alert box and then it shouldn't i did that yeah unfortunately i did that and it did not work all right here's what we're going to do we're going to
Starting point is 00:19:46 read a few of the Super Chat says, well, let me do this first before we do anything else. I want to say, today's obviously a little chaotic of a show because I was trying, I, you know, as I said, didn't really get much sleep and went full 10 hours or straight, so I'm a little loopy for sure. And then
Starting point is 00:20:03 this morning, as we're wrapping up the last day, I had to put out the X-Men stuff. I did that, put that out there. A couple other things that we have going on is the last day of the campaign. It officially ends, it officially ends tonight, but the first thing I wanted to say is thank you guys so much for all of the support
Starting point is 00:20:21 and everything that you guys have done from the beginning of this campaign until last night, and everybody who was there and everybody who watched on the replay and everybody who's been supporting in general. It's really been wonderful to have you all involved and to have all of the just amazing support from everybody. And I mean, and the other thing is from the host, like the host that came in yesterday, they were, they mean, minus the bonus that I mentioned They were just coming in on their own free time. They were coming in to help out and be there to support. And my friends, I came in also to support.
Starting point is 00:20:56 It was, it was nice for people to come in and do that and just to say, okay, let's wrap this thing up. Let's take it home, you know? And at PLD who sat there all day yesterday, Luke sat there for a lot of back and forth trying to help us with it. So it does not go on notice with all the support that you guys have given. And we tried to do some really fun things yesterday. A lot of them we got done.
Starting point is 00:21:20 We're doing that all-lady show with Sam and Chris Carr and Roxy and hopefully Steph as well. We're doing the thing with Mike. But I will tell you this. If we drop past what we had with Mike, that ain't happening either. But right now we're still doing it. And then we have those potential tickets, you know, for the live event. and I think someone was kidding.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Someone in the chat said, I think the whole tournament should be live. Well, that you should be the one that's running this thing. I'll tell you that. And I think that person was kidding, obviously. But anyway, I thank you guys for everything that you did here and everybody who's, and even if you just put in a thank you, or if you put in a word of encouragement, it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:22:11 So here's what we're going to do. we're going to do a couple of um we're going to do a couple of um super chats whatever's in there and then we're going to call it a dick word so let's start with nathan who says i want i want to see clay face and street fighter but i might have to check out wildwood first double toasted call the masterpiece i've heard nothing but amazing things i have not seen a wildwood yet like even the trailer so i need to see that i guess before i but but hey if they think it's that good i mean maybe i need to give this one a shot. People are saying that it's supposed to be great. And between that and the Nathan Fielder thing and the other stuff, I just missed it, but I am going to see, I play Rocky,
Starting point is 00:22:53 which I'm really looking forward to. And then there's that, that new movie that, what's the one, everyone's talking about the Rama, what's it called, PILD, the Ramadana, whatever it's called? Is it called Ramadanya? Pieldi doesn't know. Let's see. What the hell is it called? you know i don't know you guys tell me in the chat uh ramayana thank you so let me give let me give an example between both mave and then pl d okay mav rama yana pl d when i said ramadna he was in the background sounds good he'll throw me right to the wolves as long as he's perfect so rama yon i'm going to see that next week as well um so that one i think that one's
Starting point is 00:23:48 going to do pretty well for the channel um but as far as clayface and street fighter go i mean yeah from what from from qualities wise what everyone else says is that wildwood is supposed to be incredible right so um for sure i mean again like street fighter is it's it's it's can't be fun like If you if you like the game, the characters are there, like it's, it can't be fun. I haven't had a chance to see Clayface yet, but, but if Wildwood is that good, then go see Wildwood first and then circle back. I think it's a waste of money. And you go, you watch the street fighter thing. You go and wait, wait for it to come on TV, unless you're like a hardcore fan.
Starting point is 00:24:26 You just want to, you know. Hardcore fan or like, I mentioned this in, in my out of the theater reaction. I was like, I bought a ticket for somebody, but I have A-LIS. So A-LIS didn't mean anything to me. It was just like, yeah, I'll check. it out but if you're paying top dollar then you can wait until it comes out on streaming um yeah all right let's see let's go to the next one dj coming in tough with the 10 memberships thank you and he also fires this out from support thank you dj appreciate that man uh look forward to hanging with you buddy
Starting point is 00:24:58 Dennis Hoffman, Starlight budget, I mean, Force Awakens cost $250 12 years ago. How would Star Fighter you mean? I guess you mean Starfighter. Starfighter costs less. They need to spend big on this so we get Mandel Plus things that are exponentially more. I don't know. What the budget, 225?
Starting point is 00:25:19 That's a pretty healthy budget. I didn't really get to chime in on that, but I think that's the perfect budget for this movie. You think so? Yeah, I don't know what you guys said, what your opinions were, but I think $225 for this is perfect. because, you know, if you can't, if you're, if you're Starfighter and because Mandelaun and Grogo had no business being, I mean, for what it was, fine, but that it, in hindsight, it should have been significantly less. Because it was pandering to one particular audience, well, two, the audience that will just see everything, Star Wars, and then the audience that knows the show.
Starting point is 00:25:53 But a lot of people bailed after season two or even season three, and they're like, yeah, I'm good. So that wasn't a movie that should have been in the theaters in the first place. This is a traditional kind of Star Wars movie. So by putting in 220, you're going to test the power of the IP. Yeah. Now, so essentially what you need to do here is you got to make close to $600 million or $700 million in the theater. So you take the risk that Star Wars still has the weight because you can't make this movie. this particular movie you can't make this movie for less than 200 you just you
Starting point is 00:26:29 just can't for star wars you got to you got to take that risk and and give it all the the bells and whistles if you will um so i i think you don't go higher regardless as a 2015 or not you can't go higher than than 250 yeah yeah i mean and again the main thing that we kind of talked about with that and pld brought up is they do mention the credit the credit will help a decent amount. It should lower the next month. It's done it in London, right? Yeah, about 175 when it's because of the credit.
Starting point is 00:27:01 So that's smart. Yeah, I think they're, I don't think it's over. And I think it's probably a good budget because you couldn't, I mean, for Star Wars, I mean, look, I'm usually on the, I should have made this thing for like 150, 160, called it a day. But when the cast that they have, they're building some high star power with this thing. They're trying to build out a new, a new fan base again. They're trying to get it restarted.
Starting point is 00:27:27 You got to, you got to aim the financial tanks at it a little bit to really get it going. But if it doesn't work, that's going to be the issue, you know? Pennies, Pegboys. Wouldn't it, would it be an option to a separate showtime next year in order to get the live event and help budget everything? I mean, that might have to happen for the live event. Yeah, for the live event, if we don't do it now, then yes. 100% because live events cost between 30 and $40,000 to do. And so that's why the additional 20 leading to 300 and even that,
Starting point is 00:28:01 pulling stuff and trying to maneuver that was kind of the idea of it. So if we don't hit that, it doesn't mean we won't do the live event. It just means we'll have to find another way to do it. But the actual tournament itself is happening. We're doing it at rendezvous. For people don't know, there are, I think, eight exclusive tickets left on the Kickstarter right now that you can purchase.
Starting point is 00:28:21 It's not a guarantee that that's going to be open to outside of competitors and stuff too, because let's say Winston's going to be there for two days, right? And he's like, I want to get a table. And he's going to be able to eat and drink and have his table. And the restaurant and bar is going to be open for us. And so that's what we can do. That's why we wanted to invite some people other people in there as well. Casey G, 15 months.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Let's go. Congrats on everything, Christian. Thank you, Casey. Watch primetime, Heart of the Beast and your mother, your mother this week. favorite was your mother i've heard great things about heart of the beast and your mother your mother not so much about prime time prime time i haven't i haven't heard anything about but i've heard the same thing with heart of the beast and and your mother um they they both i heard were actually very good yeah i mean it's supposed to be really really really solid yeah i mean the main the main thing that
Starting point is 00:29:12 i've heard from people is that your mother your mother your mother is so good that people have started reslandering like marvel for not figuring that out with that director in rehearsula because they they obviously they were the last uh this director was the last one that was supposed to be working on blade with him and for them to not have figured this out everybody's like that is that was a massive massive mistake um PLT just let me know they're actually they're not eight tickets left there are only seven tickets on so um those will be available until the campaign ends tonight and then they will be off the table so just let everybody know that if you want those you're mo-down person you can grab those that's where they're right um mr ryan crappin she has i preface
Starting point is 00:29:53 by saying it's a joke but i have been attacked on socials for this but with all these fourth quarter comebacks by de sean watson when do we start calling them happy endings he said it was a joke yeah no no i know i just i i went in blind enough to go no i will be whatever's coming is not going to be that yeah i just walked right into it um greenie for Maas last one for now. Wish and best of luck with the show. Awesome to see the hard work and audience building over the years pay off. Uh, audience funded projects seems to be the future. Thank you, Green. I mean, that's, that's the goal of it, right? And the idea of is if you want to do things in a particular way, just do it and get the means to do it. And that's not just with shooting a pilot or shooting
Starting point is 00:30:37 everything else too. It's like seeing people, uh, whether you're, you're doing a comic book or, or, or, or, or, or start in a business or whatever it might. be. It's like it's utilizing social media and people who support you in the first place and saying, hey, and the one thing you have to do is you've got to, well, you've got to believe in it. And you've got to share your passion with those other people. And if they, if they say, listen, yeah, I get it. Then they may support you. They may not support you financially. They may support you with, like, hey, you can do this. We got you. Um, I. And we've had, we've had that and we've had and that's, I mean, you don't understand how
Starting point is 00:31:21 valuable that is. I mean, it is. And so, yeah, it is, it's, it's, it really was the turning point for me, though, when I started really paying attention to what everybody had done, as I mentioned, with Stuckman and Obsession, Felicia Day and, uh, back rooms and, uh, amazing digital circus and all them and using their audience to basically say let's let's who cares what the studio says we'll do it we'll do it our way so um i think that's it for today winston word um go go go go get some rest i you know you had a long day yesterday it's been a long campaign um you know and you
Starting point is 00:32:02 you have busted your ass don't use that one they're going to use it against me you your term Your terminology has been, you were saying a very nice thing right now, but your terminology is lately have with the thing you said on the show yesterday and then that one. I can't say most of your ass no more. No, not for me. I get, I still get that for it. And I didn't, I just just use my words poorly when I, anyway. Well, you have been working exceptionally hard.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Yeah. And to make your dream come true. And I think the main thing that came out of this was the idea to see that, like you've mentioned already in your thank yous and whatnot. You got a lot of people that got your back then. I know. And I appreciate it. And again,
Starting point is 00:32:46 the show is, I was, like I said, I wanted to do it for you because I wanted to make sure that you were getting your time in this week. But like I, I, this,
Starting point is 00:32:54 it just, my head's not. It took a couple days to, to recover last time. But 10 hours is last time, driving home last night. And we'll say this. I'm not going,
Starting point is 00:33:04 I don't want to say to the particular person because people keep pointing out. Now we, we did really good yesterday on, yesterday's stream and then someone keeps pointing it out of the stream yeah but you lost this last night that person who had to um there was a particular thing they wrote me such a nice email and told me in general that they were doing that and that they had to because they thought at one point that they would be able to do this and they had it set and things financially came up and so I thought it was such a wonderful email. I wasn't going to bring it up at all, but people keep putting it in the chat
Starting point is 00:33:44 to let everybody know. So that's what happened. I got a really genuine, sweet email from the person who didn't have to because there are other people who just did, and there were a couple people who did things where I would get to a goal and just after I did my goal, just kind of being dicks. This person was not doing that. This person just wasn't able to stick to the initial pledge that they put in, which I thought was honest. I thought it was fair. And the person person felt miserable about it. And I said, please do not. You, you, like, you didn't need to email me and you did. And that alone shows your character. So, again, I don't want to say the person's name. It's, that's, that's not right to do. But, but to know that I was aware this morning, you know, when I,
Starting point is 00:34:32 when I saw it and people are, are saying that too, but that's, but that's it. So, um, okay let's go to some it's an inside it's an inside joke 28 fast go greenie from us PLD take the reinspray might take Roka spot no these take the reinsprone might take Roka spot I don't know what the hell that means I think he's calling for me to replace Roka I think that's where it is yeah I don't know what he's saying um all right so let's see mr. Ike, thank you greenie Mr. I crap and shit saw Clayface last night it was okay I wish there was more known people from Gotham.
Starting point is 00:35:09 That was the one thing I will say is that. And I've said this with, we were talking afterwards, a few other critics after the screening and I agreed. I wish Gotham was more of a character. It just seems like just kind of like a city. It doesn't, that they happen to call Gotham. And Gotham doesn't have a lot of personality in the movie, which is true. Commissioner Gordon or a mention of other Rose Gallagher,
Starting point is 00:35:31 or even a Bruce Wayne mention, would have been nice. I don't disagree with any of that. Okay. The riches are so stoked for you all wish I could help more that again please people do not feel obligated to to feel that way or say that like and I it's it's one thing if people are just like fuck that I'm not doing that I don't give a shit that's like oh that's not nice but if someone's like I just can't do that's all I can do right now and or like I'm being completely genuine when I say people just showing support and being here and wishing us is like it it it means the world so thank you richard's You inspire so many. It means a lot. Very proud and excited for where you have to come. Love and Aloha. Thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Yeah, I'm trying to know what else. Okay. I mean, I guess I don't know what else to right now. Like I said, we have 12 in there. And I made sure, like I said, I knew that everybody was coming in from the kindness their own heart yesterday. So I wanted to make sure that everybody got the bonus this week too because Chris's spot. but um but you know with with everything going on i was like you know be nice if people are coming in there
Starting point is 00:36:40 for sure so uh thanks for doing that yesterday once and i appreciate it course dude i it was one of those things where it was like i you know i when they i started the when they offered me the thing for the movie you had already told me that that day was there and so i had told them ahead of time i was like if we can move my shoot days around i specifically made sure that i didn't start until after like noon just like to make sure i could be there for your last thing man because you know i wanted to make sure that no you did you did um i don't think there's any is there anything else let's say i see if there's anything else oh yeah i will say just i know you guys were talking about carry um i finished it i finished the last episode last night okay and it's not
Starting point is 00:37:22 it's it's another one like i'm talking about with clayface it's not it's not it's not scary at all it's not it's not it's it's it like i said it's more of like uh especially this version of it might i'll tell you appeal to my daughter would not not a fan of the all the changes she she recognizes it's a good show but but she is not she is not happy with the carey fan
Starting point is 00:37:45 yeah she's just kind of things I mean her points were her points were valid of what she was talking about like the reason why she thought that um they changed so much stuff of what what ultimately happens at the end you know just something different from
Starting point is 00:38:00 right I mean that's definitely been the big one, like not against it is that definitely goes and does its own thing. But Stephen King is behind it. And actually Stephen King pushed out this thing. If like it does well, they're going to do a project together, him and, and Mike Flanagan can do extra project together, some secret project. It was a way to. I'm going to screen.
Starting point is 00:38:19 I'm going to screen shying that, Mel. I'm going to show it to my daughter because she's going to be. I think it also do it building the lore out for the dark tower. I think that's partially what they're doing. So I think that's what, I think if it comes out and the dark tower comes out, it is very successful because of what it does, think they might retroactively go back. Okay, I see what they were doing with the ending of Carrie now for that.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Yeah, I mean, I, look, I enjoyed it a lot, and I actually liked the ending, but I am not a Carrie, like, die hard knowing, like, clearly Mel and my daughter. Right. Like, my daughter said the same thing, where it's like, she's just like, that's not Carrie. That's not the end of that negates the entire point of what Carrie was and this and that. And she was talking about stuff with, with the mom, stuff with, stuff with the all of how the ending was changed. I was like,
Starting point is 00:39:05 but I said, you can't keep doing the same retelling of the same thing over and over again. And plus the fact, if you stick with, if it's done well and you get flanagan on, how are you going to do season two if you stick to the movie? Right. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:39:20 That's the main main thing as well. Yeah. Right. If you're trying to stretch it out. Yeah. I'm telling you, I could have my daughter on here, though,
Starting point is 00:39:29 and she would, she'd go, she'd go on for like, like last night, I'm trying to, I was so, I was in zombie mode like I am now. And I was getting home, you know, did the things I did they do around the house before I went out.
Starting point is 00:39:43 And then I watched the end of it with my daughter and my wife. But my daughter just wanted to talk about it. I was like, it's time of her to go to bed. So she's like, hold on, hold on. She's just like, let me tell you. And then Sue, they pushed Sue Beck Sue. It was like the main character really of the first one outside of Carrie. And they just kind of pushed to this kind of side character.
Starting point is 00:40:02 And the little bit, she's going through this whole thing. I'm like, I'm like, all right, point taking. Good. I'm going to go sleep now. She's like, hold on, no, five more minutes. I'm like, five more minutes. I'm like, I'm like, holy shit. So is like, sure you knew, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:14 She wanted to make sure you knew. I wanted to make sure I knew. And sure did. By the way, so people thank you guys. We're 275, 989 right now, not too far away from, from 276. And then we were, I still haven't gotten
Starting point is 00:40:33 touch with Mike about I think I text them I text them last night as well as to let him know that he's going but um I spoke to Andrew again last night when I was driving home and he's really excited you know and um it was a good do we ever clip out the the juggling thing you said he was going to anything but I don't know what I heard last remember not is it in there let's say I liked it because that was that was hilarious and we had um Yeah, we have, let's see, Luke says, not yet, I'll get it. All right. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:41:07 So we also have, I'm trying to think of the other things that we have in here right now. It's not some of the big Fourth of July one, though. We couldn't find those again, up he'll be. I'll still look through some more. I just kind of grabbed the ones I saw. It's not one that was just like, it was so, it was incredible. But that was really funny with him and Sam. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:34 It was a good portion. and Sarah crushed Sarah crushed it twice, Winston, because, well, he was awesome on the show in general. And people, the audience really showed up because I was like, I was like, I hope that when we get the, the freaking former UFC champion in here, people are, are asking them questions. They were asking questions left and right. They were, they, there was, it was nonstop questions. But then I hadn't really eaten anything. And Sam brought, um, baked Ziti.
Starting point is 00:42:02 And she's still asking me if I've eaten it. I'm going to eat her for lunch today. but I couldn't get to it because she put it over in the microwave and I can't microwave anything right now and Sarah's like I'm going to Talios you want anything to get me two two slices and he brought me back a pie and and it was it was it was it tasted like the best filet mignon I've ever had in my life because it was like it was she was like hadn't hadn't eaten and tallios is general is that good um so when it was I'm so glad I'm so glad I was able to bring some of the I thought I was going to eat the whole damn thing but I I brought three slices home
Starting point is 00:42:35 and I made sure I ate fucking four, no I brought four slices on my bro. I ate four slices here last night. You're a stronger man than me. I know. It was nuts. Yeah, I probably would have ended up being the whole thing, bro. You get brownie, but I guess
Starting point is 00:42:50 it's also because, you know, if you came home and they ever, I remember that one time when you were still here. Yeah. And Sadie could just like, I could smell it on. You had another fucking slice of face. Oh, is it? That was, that was, that was, That was the Joe's pizza. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:04 We went, well, you know, what I did at Joe's was gluttonous. Because this is, this was, it was me and we went, we went out to eat, we went for lunch. Me and Winston and we were going to sushi place first. No, that was our main thing was sushi place. And then I was like, I go, hey, you know what we should do before we go to the sushi place? It was right across the street from the sushi place. It's Joe's pizza. And we, and so we had, we had a.
Starting point is 00:43:32 is Joe's pizza first and then went to the sushi and had a real big meal at the sushi place. I just don't. I had never taken Christian for participating a big back behavior, but like he said it and I was like, I mean, I'm not going to say no. Like, because at that point, I hadn't really
Starting point is 00:43:48 started losing away yet, so I was like, oh, both of us. Oh, the both of us. And that sushi place, that sushi place is the best. Yeah, dude. That's the fish place is the best. I haven't been, that was, you know, since I've been back to L.A. I wanted to hit all my spots. when I went, it's the one spot that I missed when I was there.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And every time I've gone, I keep trying to get back there to go. And I couldn't go. I hit my favorite Italian restaurant. I hit my favorite Mediterranean place. I ate all these places like the sushi place was the one place and what it again. I'm trying to think if there's anything else that we really need to chat it up here today about. Because I almost feel like, I feel like it's anti-climactic, but I don't stay on for a little bit more with the last day because we do have on
Starting point is 00:44:31 look we just passed 276 thank you guys we did that yeah and then we have you know Winston I told you we started doing the the X-Men movies right yeah yeah yeah so we posted X-Men 2000 oh that was the other thing my Lord
Starting point is 00:44:51 like the and this I'm going to give credit and understanding to some people and then I'm going to throw some people under the bus so for for Vision Quest. We started watching him and I started watching Vision Quest. So I thought people were going to be happy that Sam was on because I missed she didn't do the first two.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Every other comment with, well, you should have watched Agatha. And I'm like, and then so, okay, Agatha, first of all,
Starting point is 00:45:17 I never said I wasn't going to watch it. I'm just not watching it in sequence. Okay, so we'll watch, it's not that necessary. Of the four episodes I've seen so far, it's not that necessary. But she's still going to want.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Yeah, but she's still going to watch. And so most people of those things, okay, I get it. You want to stand to watch Agatha? I don't really have a problem with that. I saw two comments and I don't care if they've been here for a long time. I banned them from the channel.
Starting point is 00:45:42 One person was like, one person said, I didn't want to. And first of all, I've watched the series and really liked it, Agatha, watched it. And surprisingly, all I said was that I just didn't think that the show was exactly targeted for me. But I enjoyed watching it.
Starting point is 00:45:58 I like watching it with my wife. So one person said, he doesn't want to show her because there's gay people in it. And I was like, I'm like, you hurt the narrative. You do these things. You say things like that. And that hurts everybody's cause when you just throw shit out there. So that person I can. Then the next person said, oh, the reason he doesn't want to watch Agatha,
Starting point is 00:46:24 the reason he's not doing it now, this feels sexist. You're out. you're no longer part of the channel. It's like I now, everyone else who was showing frustration of me not showing her going, oh, you should have showed her first. It wasn't in sequence.
Starting point is 00:46:41 She's going to miss stuff. Valid and all fair. All of it fair. I'm still going to show her in the same way that people had, I don't like the way you did first class first. I don't like that you showed her and or before this. Valid. I don't agree, but valid.
Starting point is 00:46:59 when you start throwing out the nonsense on Twitter and the things that that hurt actual causes, that's where you fail. And that's why you'll not be part of this channel anymore. It's also one thing if those are things you have actually said, in which case, then it's valid to come. 100%. If I was like, ah, the show's too gay.
Starting point is 00:47:22 I remember when the show was that's not what you said. You were like, I think it's a woman's show. It's not for me, but my wife likes it. So I'm watching with my wife. I said, I enjoyed it. I said, I enjoyed watching and said, I don't think it's target. I never said it wasn't for me. I said, I don't think it's targeted.
Starting point is 00:47:34 That's what I meant. I apologize. Because I was paraphrasing your paraphrase. Right, right, right. Literally that. It's you saying that like, it's not targeted for, because you said that even about Ms. Marvel, you're like, I don't know if this necessarily targeted towards me, but you enjoyed Ms.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Enjoyed it. Yeah. Obviously, until we got to the standard pupew ending. But otherwise, so I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but I guess that's a problem is people can't read through nuance and subtlety anymore. Yeah. I don't feel like you want to attack. All you got to do, hit that rewind button all the way back.
Starting point is 00:48:06 And you'll see all the movie news. All the way back. Just watch the beginning and you'll be good. Anyway. So, but yeah, I just saw that. I was like, I'm like, because that's the thing is that for people in my family, who are gay, you know, and people, people, close friends of mine. I hate people, bigotry.
Starting point is 00:48:38 I hate when people are big. I hate it. But when people do that kind of stuff, in the same way that when people just automatically say, oh, a racism thing or this thing, it hurts people. Now, there are times when those things are very, valid. And as Winston was saying, if you're combating something that someone said, but to throw
Starting point is 00:49:03 stupid accusations like that and stupid things like that, I don't want you part of this channel. And you know, you can do it on Twitter all day long or go to the Reddit threads where filth exists and do that. But but not here. It just feels like people always want to attack, like they want to find
Starting point is 00:49:18 some conspiracy reason for attack and to attack with the worst level. And it's like, no, it just didn't happen. It's like, I didn't say that it wouldn't in this same way that there's other things that we're going to we're going to be watching down the line. We'll be watching stuff. And it just wasn't order. And there was some, I mean, the other thing someone else said, which I didn't throw them out of the channel. I just didn't respond to it. It was pretty stupid. It said, well, you had the time to do it. I did.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I had the time to do it. Oh, okay. Sam had the time to do it. Sam, Sam just, Sam just sent me the invoice for September. She missed like the whole month of September because she was six. She was working. We barely got anything in. There was hardly anything in. There was hardly anything. that we got a chance to do. So by the time we finally started, like, that's why I wasn't even going to have her do vision quest in the first place, but then everyone was complaining about it.
Starting point is 00:50:04 And I was like, oh, you know what? I'll do the right thing here and put her in it. And then it's like, well, you should have shown her Agatha first. I was like, you can't win for losing, man. Yeah. I know. I know. I know, it's true.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Oh, wow. Yeah. Yeah. I was one I was pushing. I pushed you for Agatha as well, but I didn't ever think it was any reason besides anything. No. PLD was like, you know, you guys should probably watch that first.
Starting point is 00:50:29 And I said, I just don't know if I'm going to do it. As far as someone that, like, invincible updates, I think that now that the campaign is crashing down, that we can, we'll probably start scheduling those pretty quick. And I also want to see with, I want to see if the, how the Crystal Lake reactions do. I didn't understand Papers email this morning. they said
Starting point is 00:50:56 we need the we need the files and I look and I and I checked the files are in there so I don't understand but again maybe I'm maybe I'm imagining things at this point any more questions and things that people have they'll do that if people have any questions or anything they want to light out please
Starting point is 00:51:17 let us know maybe so but like you said it's the thing is, I mean, if you guys want, I'll tell you what. I mean, well, but the thing is this isn't fair because the live audience is different from the reaction audience, too. They're not saying there's people who don't
Starting point is 00:51:34 watch reactions, watch the live, but it's going to say you could do a poll of of what we, do we continue watching the X-in-Movies, or do we stop it and then start watching Agatha? Right? And it's like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:50 I'm not sure. No, I don't think. I just do that. The only thing that I will say that will come up, because she watched Wanda Vision. Yeah. Yeah, she's much everything. That's, I think that was the whole thing. I mean, for what I've seen, and I just have to explain to her the Billy stuff.
Starting point is 00:52:11 That's it. That was it. Yeah. Because the other element that I forgot, and I actually reread something and it was like, oh, I should go back and watch that episode again. I forgot that the whole scenario with Tommy was because at the end of Agatha, Billy put Tommy's soul into somebody's body.
Starting point is 00:52:30 I forgot that that happened. Right. And so that was the only thing that I needed to readjust and go, oh, right. And not that they both just magically appeared somewhere, it's that Billy, because he was magical reincarnated,
Starting point is 00:52:44 but he went and put his brother's soul. Okay, see, I forgot that too. Yeah. There's that aspect of it. I think the only other aspect would be is if Agatha shows up at the end because at the end of the episode of Agatha and Billy were going to search for Tommy. So like
Starting point is 00:52:56 if that happens then it's like well what that would be kind of important. That is coming because they did already mention that the kid that played Billy that he is in the series. Like that was announced way back when Vision Quest was in production. So it must be coming at some point. But that was just a little thing that I was like oh right
Starting point is 00:53:14 that did happen. Right. Okay. All right. Let's see. Anything else, PLD that we have? Thank you. How about that? How will we get updates on trending after the campaign? So I guess we're going to wait and see how the meetings go next week, you know, after we do this. So as soon as the meetings go through, we'll probably start being able to update everybody.
Starting point is 00:53:45 You know, that's that's good. I'd be a little bit of a pause, but then we'll get back in there. Yes. So that's. that's what we're saying. Josh is probably right on. The agatha reactions will probably not do very well anyway to be completely honest with you.
Starting point is 00:53:58 That was the thing is while the show was critically received well and the people that watched it liked it, the numbers on the show to my knowledge weren't crazy. So from the standpoint of like doing business, X-Men will do numbers, especially with Spider-Man and Doomsday coming and all that.
Starting point is 00:54:16 There's no guarantee that Agatha would unless you had done it right before Vision Quest started. Yeah. All right, let's see what else? Let's see. Are the Kickstarter funds the entire? No, no, no. That's the whole point of why we were doing.
Starting point is 00:54:31 Rain says are the Kickstarter funds the entire budget or are there other outside funding sources as well? Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah. Sorry. So yes. Currently right now, the Kickstarter funds of the entire budget, yes. And so that's why I was trying to get to the boardwalk version of it.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Right? So we can, because we have to be able to produce the sneakers, the shirts, the stuff that we're doing, the crew and stuff for the Shmode Island. So there's things that got to come out of that, plus the budget for the actual show itself. So right now, that is, that is, that is the entire budget is coming out of that. Yes. I just want to point it out, Sam. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:55:13 100%, Sam. Yeah, it's like, yeah. So there was, there was a couple. There was, that was only, that was like one comment, but then the other woman saying that, it was misogynistic because I didn't I was sexist because I didn't want to show the I didn't want to show her I was like what hell are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:55:29 I just watched practical magic the other day what I was talking about and I wanted to watch part two. So it's like you know it's just just don't even hearing that I was going to say that might be the most pro woman and pro gay thing you could have put up with because I saw practical
Starting point is 00:55:49 magic and I was like this definitely was not, I am not the time. Yeah, and, and no one watched that reaction. No one. And I was like, and I still was, you know, I was excited, but not as excited as this. Wow. Oh, real good. Fail.
Starting point is 00:56:13 He went for a bit, though, too. She was really trying. My favorite was, she's like, wait, is that going to be, is that going to live on? Or is that just, you know, I thought it once you should. stream is that said i'm like that's not how this show works forever yeah forever dude i now i'm upset that you didn't convince her
Starting point is 00:56:30 yesterday to do the thing to do it again she did what she did that's amazing she did it on she did it on the live stream no i know i but when we came in oh she wouldn't oh she wouldn't do it again yeah greening from us there's an Aussie streaming called stan add that to the list probably love
Starting point is 00:56:48 shorter comedy shows streaming service i'm guessing streaming service I mean, yeah, I mean, that's, that's, I think that's the beauty, right? And it's like the, especially the fact when you put the like the whole Kevin Pollock element of it all, which he, so he liked the reel this morning, which is a good thing. I posted the reel of his announcement. He gave it like so that was cool. But having him involved with it and having him performing in it is going to be a significant asset and tool. to say, hey, whatever streaming service it might be, check this out. We got Kevin Pollack in it and take a look. So, yeah. Nice.
Starting point is 00:57:31 All right, let's see. Christian, what, uh, pie cap. Yeah. Okay. And then John Burckhardt. I got in late. Was there a response from Mike about, not yet. No, there wasn't.
Starting point is 00:57:44 I haven't heard from him yet, but maybe we'll, we'll get it on. You know what I realize too next week. Next week's going to be a little rough for me. in general. As I said, those two major out of the theater reactions that I'm doing. But one of the,
Starting point is 00:57:59 I play Rocky one I'm doing on Tuesday. So Mike and Rocks are going to have to host on their own. I might have to take Thursday off. And then, yeah, so I don't know yet what we're doing. So at least for those, at least for those.
Starting point is 00:58:17 And then maybe we get a reaction for Mike on Tuesday about that. I don't know. And then not to put anything more on you, we do got to schedule a member stream at some point and still. What? We still got a schedule of members stream. Oh, yeah, we just do that. Yeah, maybe sometime next week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:30 So we missed, Paige, so we missed your super chat. Yep, got it here. I see it. I see it. Hey, guys, I'm sorry. I haven't been watching all of y'all. I'm out of the country vacation. Please give all you can.
Starting point is 00:58:40 Thank you, Paige. Page. No, I didn't. Winston, did you ever watch it? I said it to you. Watch, which one? You're upset? Not yet. Not yet. Because I've just been locked in on the movie.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Yeah. I, so I haven't, I haven't put that out there yet. Okay. Anything. I see a question. This one about the conjuring. Oh. At what hour day will you see precisely how much is cleared versus what hasn't coming through? All our supporters not going through. You're prepared. I mean, we'll find out. I mean, it's going to be, everything goes through tonight.
Starting point is 00:59:18 This is another reason why I tell people when people were asking, like, oh, I thought you hit your initial goal. I'm like, yeah, but the initial goal is, is what you have to always overshoot the initial goal because you never know what's going to happen. Because let's say I would have gotten that email from that person after we hit that initial goal, then we wouldn't even have hit our goal. So like, that's when people understand is even, and it's, and I had a back and forth with somebody on the community tab. And I, it's, it's very similar to texting. I hate it. You can't have a conversation with somebody. It's like, it comes off when I was trying to explain to the person.
Starting point is 00:59:52 At first, the person thought I was kind of being dismissive. I'm like, no, no, I'm telling you seriously. Like, maybe you haven't watched like me explain why,
Starting point is 00:59:59 but this is why. Like, this is why it's we, we can, if we clear and do this, we can make a version of it at this. But we're trying, as Andrew was saying yesterday,
Starting point is 01:00:08 we're trying to get the most glossy version of this thing. Hence where we're trying to offer so much for people to get motivated to do it, um, as we're winding down here on this last day. So we're at two, 275-944 right now. Now we're at 276, 134. Okay, so that's good. Nice. So did you process on the success of how much you made for pilot? What did your wife say? Well, I mean, it's not over yet, Mike, you know, and that's, that's the thing because anything can happen. So I'm still, it's, it's, it's, it's, um, Craig told me this too. It's like it's, and I, I made this choice. I've told you guys this story where initially when we were doing, the campaign the first time and we were going through a different process outside of Kickstarter and then I had that conversation with Andrew like maybe because I wasn't going to take on the
Starting point is 01:01:00 full responsibility of trying to raise all the money during that time and then when I was at when I was with Andrew at that dinner we were walking and I was just and I almost said and I concede it I guess maybe is a word I don't know that I was going to say okay maybe we just through the traditional package the thing and try to if people like the script and see what happens in a year or two, maybe someone buys it, whatever, great. And then I had that moment that Andrew mentioned in the parking lot,
Starting point is 01:01:31 which was, I yeah, I don't want to, I want to give it a shot. We didn't even try. Like my audience never had a chance. I never had a chance. I don't want to do that. I want to do this. And he's like, well, then let's do this. And I did. And I knew the work that you'd have to put into in order to do it. And it's like, it's it's you know I'm right now I'm in I'm just like my my head's a mess mess like 10 hours screaming twice a lot it's it's it's a lot and I to the point where like you did it in a month
Starting point is 01:02:03 I don't I I I have never done a marathon stream more than once a quarter let alone in a month so yeah props hats off to you man but it's it takes it looks and listen it's it's like I said if you believe in it you go for but it's like it's it's stressful too right because like the first, it's that the highs and lows, like the high of the, and the fact that everybody initially that said, we got you, we got you, we got you, boom, up top and we raised that money so fast up top. And then we did what we did in seven days. And then there was like the lull and then there was the up,
Starting point is 01:02:34 the low. And then, you know, as I mentioned, the person who respectfully and wonderfully wrote me last night, but again, it's a hit. You know, it's like we're back. Oh, shit, we're so close. We're getting closer to the 300 and now we're back a little bit more with now. we're now with only what shit uh 10 hours to go until it's until the campaign's over so you know it's like i hope that people if you if people are on the fence about it that they want to get
Starting point is 01:03:02 involved in it um but um but that's it so um let's let's good i want to still like i said i'm i'm i'll be here i might as well it's the last day so we'll stick around and we'll give Winston and Pildee some time to hang out for a little bit more too. So people want some more questions and other things. And I wish we could have gotten that Schmobot working. It was really frustrating that I couldn't get it working. But let me, maybe for another show, but let me, because I know you were trying to specifically do it for the end of the campaign.
Starting point is 01:03:34 I was going to, anything that we did for Schmobot, I was going to put towards the campaign, but it's all right. Gotcha. I hold it up there, Greenie from out of PLD and Roka members, she would be in Amazing. Greenie, that would be another Kickstarter. I know. That would be a... There was about 200 grand to do that. Just for that.
Starting point is 01:03:53 That's true. I... Honestly, even though I've seen it in real time, I would still pay money for that. That's hilarious. It's really hilarious. Let's see. All right, what's next to do anything? Is Winston still pissed with the white chicken from The Conjuring that shares his name?
Starting point is 01:04:13 That's so good. I was so I was so like y'all gotta be shit in me because somebody before they're like oh man it wasn't anybody from here I told a friend of mine right that I was that's a big horror fan I was like yeah I have to watch a conjuring for work like it was it was like a reward slash punishment thing and he was like oh shit man you in a movie I was like what the fuck you're talking about it's like there's like there you'll love it I said okay I get that it was the white chick I was like all right so fun yeah um that was I mean that's a good one for Halloween And then we have the crystal, I hope the Crystal Lake thing performs because the only problem is that freaking stupid ass, um, this bulk thing that they do appeal. It's like it goes, it's it comes and goes. If it was weekly, that would have been great. Same with Carrie. I wanted them both to be weekly. Yeah. Oh, yeah, PILD did you get, what was it was at 170 for the green makeup, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, went.
Starting point is 01:05:15 and PLD has to dress up as Shrek for a full screen. So I was debating what I was going to be for Halloween. I think I'm going to go as Vichon. I don't know if you remember that from when Wanda Vision was happening. PLD does. Let me find an image real quick, Christian. But essentially what ended up happening is every time Vision would come on to Wanda Vision and a lot of times he would actually have a nice fit on,
Starting point is 01:05:40 like, black people kind of glommed onto it be like, hey, that's not Vision, yo, that's Vichon. They start putting like a D-Wondah on. funny. Shane and she's like, hold on. That's good. Peel do a couple more came in. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:53 I'll throw on in there. What's your opinion on regular pizza size versus Sicilian slice? I love Sicilian slices from Luigi's in Brooklyn. Perfecto, sir. So I do, I like a good Sicilian size. My favorite Sicilian sites that use it. Well, first of all, they're also called Roman
Starting point is 01:06:09 slices, right? And that's where Talios. Talyos started as full Roman and didn't do regular slice and then they then they started doing them but um but my favorite sicilian slice that i ever had and it's it's since changed a little the sicilians i still pretty damn good is vi pizza which i used to talk about all the time and that's in queen's bayside um really solid i'm more of a traditional slice person but every once in a while like and and pizzeria g out here in um garden city has a good um has a good sicilian slice as well so i do like a good sicilian slice but but traditional is
Starting point is 01:06:45 normally what I like better. Okay. So Christian, check out the screen share. That's what I was talking about. This is this is probably what we're to do for Halloween. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 01:06:55 That's great. That's good. And apparently if you look at this, this other guy did it once before. So I was like, okay, this is actually hilarious. It's like the rock, right?
Starting point is 01:07:03 Yeah. A couple more in there. What do you got? Yeah, let's see. That's you, Sean McCabe, buddy.
Starting point is 01:07:10 What's up, Sean? Grats and everything you accomplished with the Kickstarter. Your whole team has done incredible work, you should be very proud. Here's the future. Much luck for the McCabe coming. Freedong.
Starting point is 01:07:22 Did a good fleeting on the on the last stand. You're going to like that one. Peelotley is a good fleeting on. All right. All right. Adam Lance the art. Thank you guys.
Starting point is 01:07:36 You do and entertainment you provide. No doubt in my mind of the past is going to crush. I'll leave the show to get picked up. From your lips to God's ears, my friend. I really, you know, I'm confident in it. I'm excited about it. I like where the story is going to go. And I'm really pumped to work with everybody.
Starting point is 01:07:53 I'm really, really excited to have a lot of these scenes with, I mean, because the pilot is, I was talking about this last night. It's a major, major scene, but why like one scene with Martini in the pilot? That's right. I forgot because it's really, I remember about the story. It's, you've got to establish each other first. Yeah. It's the lead. It's the lead up to, I mean, it's a major scene. And I think it's, it's a long, long scene. But it's, and it is, but then once you get into the season, it's, itself, it's like,
Starting point is 01:08:24 that's all I'm going to have my scenes with, basically. So, I'm looking forward to working with her. Yeah. Absolutely. I'm looking forward to, I'm looking forward to seeing it, man. And, and I, I, especially knowing that, like, you have been excited to get back into acting. Yeah. I'm, I'm, also just curious to see like what like how you feel getting back into it and what challenges you come up against you know what I mean I think it'll be really interesting like as far as that goes too the other thing was hilarious um I um I mean you know so my father-in-law is a uh he was a professor professor right yeah USC for long times I've been
Starting point is 01:09:02 working with him over the last like year whatever and um and as well as some other things too but then I mentioned last week that I'm looking into some other classes now that everything's going. And I do love every once in a while, I do love calling out the turds, right? And like, so this one stupid turd. Right. And he, and he's, let's he say, he's like, oh, just now, just now we're looking to act and go out of us? And it's like, no, fuck wit. It's like, looking into other ones from, from, there was one that I used to take back in
Starting point is 01:09:34 the day that I want to get back into and the other one. It's just like, people are so stupid sometimes. It's like, anyway. It's dude, we've said this before. Social media is the greatest and the worst thing that's probably ever ever. Ever. Because on the one hand, the amount of connection that we've been able to have
Starting point is 01:09:49 and give people a voice and disseminate news and all that kind of stuff has been great. But then there's everything else that. No, what I said about it was the best thing about social media, right, is that everyone has a voice. The worst part about social media is that everyone has a voice. Yeah, that is 100% accurate.
Starting point is 01:10:08 But this guy's name, I realized that once I saw his use. username was salad tits and i was like oh so once uh once salad tits starts chiming in i don't know what his real username was but to me he's only didn't sound yeah hey salad tits coming over again he is all right all right what's uh what's next be gill uh i had some great questions yesterday big gill i applaud you for all you're doing sir especially with that stream yesterday if i did that for my film which comes out next month i'd be a zombie next day proud of man well i am a zombie right i'll tell you that right now it's like i don't know
Starting point is 01:10:41 even know how like it was able to i mean i went to the gym this morning so that helped a little bit um but you know it's like i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna probably eat some food do a couple things here sarah's doing a couple things tonight and then i'm gonna probably call it a day good for you yeah get some rest um it's the doc doc bittersweet day i'm happy for you but a big part of the nation was about seeing smet and kl live i won't pull it because i believe in the project but i'm disappointed bittersweet again it's not a guarantee that it's not gonna happen it just i have to figure out how to make it happen outside of it done because like that's the thing is and and and I'm sorry that you felt that in no world ever ever guarantee I said look I'd like to see them them play and they could play
Starting point is 01:11:19 and we can make it happen and be great but in no world can I I mean can I afford a live and plus effect to be honest that even doing the the Schmodeown tournament is is pushing it into the the trending thing but like you get in a fucking 15 person or or 16 person tournament it's like so I mean I'd like to see that match too and you know in a we can and if those and that's the other thing if the matches do well then the chances of a live event are pretty solid um but that's why i also made it very clear to everybody and inside of that and to you to you as well that that's why we were aiming for that $340,000 kind of overall thing so we could pay for all of it you know um but thank you for your for your honesty um okay
Starting point is 01:12:05 let's say big one arwin thank you armin that's huge thank you armin support for the I'm so excited to see how great the campaign went. Glad I could support the Kickstarter. I'm glad you did too. Thank you, Christian and crew for making my day better. And every day, and I have, I always have lunch while I watch you guys. Thank you, Arwen. That was a very generous super chat in general.
Starting point is 01:12:23 Thank you for that. Appreciate that. Okay, is it weird to use ranch dressing on pizza, says Joseph Ashley. Not on dominoes and, like, certain kind, like barbecue chicken pizza or something along those lines, like a regular slice like a real stuff I was eating yesterday. Yeah, to me that's a little lot. Yeah, I'm not exactly a big fan of that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:51 Joey. Going back on that 276, 84. Right now. Going back and forth on that 276. Joey, is there anything we can do to get the pilot picked up after it's out? I mean, right now I don't know the answer to that, Joey. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:13:04 I mean, we got to shoot at first, right? And then I think that it's a matter of it. I think that the main thing is, depending on just showing that there's an interest in it. The two things above all else are who you got involved to make it and so far everything you've brought in
Starting point is 01:13:22 between casting directors and producers and everything else is a huge thing. And then the other is because you actually had a successful Kickstarter as far as that went, they can turn around and go look at all the people that are actually interested in everything now is a full numbers game. So I think what you just did is the biggest thing that could have been.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Wentz, I told you who, for one of the roles who I was talking to, that I'm hoping we bring on, I think. I'll show you in the private chat. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't say it out loud, obviously. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You, did you tell me that? I don't know. Maybe not.
Starting point is 01:13:59 I don't remember hearing that. I spoke to that person, and they really enjoyed the script. So I hope that that's a potential that we can get them. That would be big, man. Yeah, I know. I'm hoping. All right. What's next?
Starting point is 01:14:15 Anything else? Yeah. There you. It's a Doc. I need to follow with I'd have donated anyway. Thank you, Doc. Doc. I love your showing.
Starting point is 01:14:24 Christian, but I just wanted to share. I hope it still hits 300K. If I had it, I would. No, I know it. And look, like I said, Doc, I want to see that match as much as you do. I want to see Sam Levine competing. I want, like, the live event itself is something that we can just try to figure out how to get other investors to do and other things too.
Starting point is 01:14:41 If, if like, but here's the other thing, though, Doc, and I think you would agree with this. If we do the tournament, the 16 person tournament, and nobody watches it, then I don't know if a live event is, is that, you know, financially smart. If nobody, if nobody cares anymore about the Schmodeon when the tournament comes out and like, you know,
Starting point is 01:15:06 five to eight thousand people, watch them and nobody's going to want to buy tickets and it's not financially responsible to do a live event you know i'm sure i assume you would agree with that uh all right what's next which do you prefer nachos or nike shoes i that's a good question because it depends on the place i know wins is probably going to say Nike shoes but i i would um it depends on the place there's a there's a there's a good there's a good nachos barbecue nachos in Nike shoes I would assume that he's what he's eating right now. I think I like them almost equally.
Starting point is 01:15:44 Yeah. Nacho's just what you get for like the bang in your buck, but I love a goddamn good Jordan one, man. It just depends. It just depends. What's next? Five Jules Tree. Great picture.
Starting point is 01:15:56 Next. Did you wait, wait, wait, wait. Was that a, was that a, was that a, Michael Scott? Did you see someone released the band Halloween episode? I did see that. No. What do you mean to his band?
Starting point is 01:16:10 There was an episode. I guess the network didn't allow them to actually hear like a Halloween episode, and it's because Michael Scott is doing Michael Scott things, including taking it a little too far in a haunted house with children. It's pretty incredible. Hold on if I can find a link for you.
Starting point is 01:16:25 That's really good. That's PLD's phone. We're almost there, Christian. What's a good contact email for you? Same thing, Rob Schmo's contact at gmail.com. And thank you. Thank you for everybody. being here today again 276 084 which 276 109 excuse me thank you very little um that's pretty
Starting point is 01:16:48 awesome thank you guys um next hot take christian screw i get the reactions this bland full steam ahead with the x-movies also are you going to show sam the new mutants movie now we talked about that um that one that one i've never seen that movie and i don't think i i don't think it's the reason i'm watching it is that like the X-Men movies in general, right, is because we've done the MCU already and that leads up to Doomsday. And all the X-Men movies kind of lead up to Doomsday. Right. So, oh, I, this movie, New Mutants doesn't.
Starting point is 01:17:22 No, it was fine in any of it. But it was pretty forget of a whole overall. Yeah, probably not. But, and Agatha, we'll get to Agatha. But screw those gay women, am I right? Stupid. Stupid. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Unbelievable. What a stupid comment that was. 100%. By the way, my wife actually called me out last night. She goes, I was listening to you on the stream last night. You said 100% 100 times. Yeah, that's kind of what I say a lot. What is it?
Starting point is 01:17:59 What I agree with you? Like 100%. Absolutely. I was going to call you out on that. You go absolutely. a big, yeah, so. Lido, later. It should be part of a tag production style opener for trending like Lucasom.
Starting point is 01:18:14 I mean, at the, it's really ship, the Cage production. It should be, that's, that's, that, I'm imagining like a real crude-ass drawing, just later they don't. Yeah, yeah, well, it's just, yeah, you see, you see it as, as it's, as the, it's fading down, and it's super quiet, and there's nothing there, and then you just see. Later later. you might have to do that now yeah i think that's great yeah what's next uh if christian wasn't a marvel or star who would he be and why today is so yeah today definitely so um it's so funny sam sam said uh she watched
Starting point is 01:18:55 the first one don't do that she watched the first act i told i told her we'll watch it oh okay what's next all right uh was martini in hollywood last week i could have swore she played a character on Kimmel, the mosquito sketch, it's clipped online, sent it to me, but she would have told me if she was in that. No way. Yeah. Can you send, can you send me the clip or send it to PLD or something? Yeah, absolutely. Let me ask that. Let's see. Let me see. Let me ask her if, let me ask her if she was on Kimmel. You weren't on Kimmel last week, right? She would have told me that. okay let's um
Starting point is 01:19:46 all right let's see what else we got no chance just say it now no chance we know you're tired for a long day
Starting point is 01:19:57 we've got to ask any shot for maybe an hour live stream are you out of your fucking mind are you out of your mind you're out of your mind you can tell me that my name
Starting point is 01:20:13 is Francois Vienflot right now I believe you I was talking about it. I love you. You're a lunatic. Yeah. No chance now. This is the greatest thing I've ever heard.
Starting point is 01:20:26 My brother randomly writes me and goes, hey, do you know where dad and mom's first date was? And I was like, yeah, it was apartment somewhere, right? They went to like, some party.
Starting point is 01:20:36 And he goes, no, Rodney Dangerfield's stand-up set in the city. I was like, what? How do I even know that? No way. Hey, look, it's the Horloves.
Starting point is 01:20:44 At least the future. Sharloff. You're something of a real asshole. Get to notice. Yeah, right. It's unbelievable. He's going to aim for 300. Some lunatic's going to tell him to live stream at 11 a.m.
Starting point is 01:20:59 at 11 p.m. at night right before he's about to crash out. His name's Ed. I'm so hype for the 16th of person. Thank you. Me too. Next. Walker. Seriously, Christian. I'm glad we achieve this massive goal. Really happy for you.
Starting point is 01:21:15 By the way, are you still going to do an entire show as big balls? And should we expect it? No, that we didn't, we didn't hit that goal that day. It was, there were certain ones that were offered that day. That will be awesome. But not. I'll do it again, though.
Starting point is 01:21:28 I'll do it, I'll do it. You have to set it, 276. If we hit, if we had 278 and it doesn't go below 278, then I'll do a full show as big balls with nobody else on. Right. Yeah. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:21:45 Mike, sorry, sorry if this is talked about, but how did you find Kickstarter? much that helped you make the dream from true. Well, it's definitely been, the opportunity provides people is tremendous, right, and connecting people to it. So as far as how do we, I mean, finding Kickstarter, like, as I mentioned, all the people that I mentioned beforehand, the stuck men and everyone else didn't look at what they did. It, it definitely gave the inspiration to see what those guys did first and give us an opportunity to try to do this. It was a little more daunting for us because a smaller audience than say Chris right um and then be he was doing a movie and i still think and i'd like to see people do the research on it but i think a scripted comedy show
Starting point is 01:22:30 a scripted sitcom i don't know if anybody has raised more in a scripted comedy i know that that mystery science 3 000 did something like in the millions or something too but a scripted independent pilot i I think. That's impressive, I think. That's certainly something to write home about. And again,
Starting point is 01:22:50 I think that that is one of the things when somebody asked how, what can we do to help make sure it gets picked up at that point? That's the kind of stats that you put in your pitch. Right. That they go,
Starting point is 01:23:01 oh, shit, okay, so you do have like a built-in audience and everything else. And by the way, people, there's still seven of those tickets left for Smodown people. Ed, spread the word.
Starting point is 01:23:10 That's where you go, Ed. Tell people, spread the word and tell them that there's seven of those tickets left. They want to come see the Shmode on in person. All right. Who's next? Well, well, well. All right, just because he asked for his birthday,
Starting point is 01:23:24 just for a second. I'll bring you back. Is today's birthday? Yeah. Is that in my calendar? I don't know. How old is he now? The 1,000 and 2? You know, as much as you break his chops for it,
Starting point is 01:23:35 everybody breaks his chops about being older. He looks good. He looks good forever. Because he's like five or six years older than me. He looks good. He genuinely looks fantastic for his day. I can't give, I can't give sure there's some people you look, like, there was this person that I saw not long ago, and I won't call anybody out. It's no one here.
Starting point is 01:23:53 It's just a regular person walking around that I see. And I was, and they said how old they were. And I go, that person is three years younger than me. They look like my dad. That's 80. And so, but yeah. So, yeah. Water.
Starting point is 01:24:10 People just got to take care of themselves. Roka's aging. Roman. Stage and Grayson, yeah, he is. I will say for his birthday, I won't time you out of the chat, John. Yeah, don't do that. What's next?
Starting point is 01:24:24 You guys seen the preview of mass effect universe. Such a shame we got pulled because it looks at easy. I was, I was devastated by BioWare's closure, but that someone on the dev team released the trailer. Oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 01:24:36 I am absolutely fucking heartbroken that we're not getting this game. Because it is everything that fans of the series I've been asking for after the last one didn't do so hot. So, uh, what's next? PLT. Right.
Starting point is 01:24:50 Try pizza with wing top, wing stop ranch, game changer. It depends on the pizza and depends on, you know, what we're, like, just a regular New York slice. No thank you, but those little kind of shit-ass slices, sure. Yeah. Um, some chicken on there or something. Maybe. Josh sticks.
Starting point is 01:25:07 Will the attorney be on this channel? Yes, it will. Um, but it'll also air in sequence. It'll eventually be on. on the vault channel, which reminds me that I have to put some matches up on that vault channel today, which I've been kind of fallen by the wayside because of everything going on. All right, next. Just as you after the Kickstarter is a regular way.
Starting point is 01:25:29 It goes to direct to the account for a show separate from super chats like Blurds do Venmo. Now, I think that what I think that Craig, you know, Pieldi, can you ask Craig this question before we sign off? Can we guarantee that we might, because I know that the Guild was able to do it. I know not everybody can, but are we able to keep the campaign up if people wanted to throw in late? Are we still able to, can we announce that we can do that or are we not able to do that? Because I know that, again, I know the Guild is still doing that. Let me see. Any more questions coming?
Starting point is 01:26:09 There you go. Christian, my cat's Ozzy and tofu with like a slice of apple pie, please. Connor Mollis says. As sooner you can get it to them, the better. I've already fed exed it. Jokes on you, buddy. What's next? Hey, yo, I'm dying laughing. Robes's texting me on the side. It's like, can PLD not read? I said what I wanted for my birthday.
Starting point is 01:26:35 I love you that much, John. No, you know, it's not, it's not him right now, John. That's on me. I need them. I need them, dude. I'm, I'm fading. And I don't have the strength to run the rest of this for myself. So I need it. But it's not to say that I won't just randomly toss them off the side. But what you don't know, I don't know if Roken knows it or not, is that he's going to love this. And if you want, if you want, this is what I can give you for your birthday, even though PILD is not going to love this.
Starting point is 01:27:05 Fieldy has been committed to dressing up a Shrek for the Kickstarter. I'll make sure it's on a Monday. if you want if you want if you want if you're going to do the whole makeup at that point
Starting point is 01:27:21 you may as well go out in the streets and shoot some content bro like but if you don't want him on to do it that way you'll probably be happier
Starting point is 01:27:30 that way but if you do we can have him in full uh strict makeup during a Monday show um
Starting point is 01:27:36 all right let's make Mr. Tors show one Christian how long time watch your first time chatter
Starting point is 01:27:43 well thank you That is a very generous first time. I just wanted to congratulate you on reaching your training goal. Thank you. I know you're passionate you feel about that. That's why I decided to back up at a supporter level. Best luck. Well, thank you for doing that.
Starting point is 01:27:54 And yeah, we are very supportive about it. And that's the type of thing that goes a long way. And thank you. And it's no matter what, anytime someone writes something like that or writes a DM or writes to things, it's like you just never, you never really prepared for the feeling you get from it, right? Because it's just, it's very kind for you to say that. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Um, okay. Let's see. Imagine people's putting up with me. I mean, that would be even better. I'm not to have a beat. Wow. Oh, real good.
Starting point is 01:28:30 Fail. The fact that you guys put music to that is the thing. Like that in the moment while you had it was music, that was fantastic. And it wasn't easy because I was looking for music that we had on the side. And there was nothing that was working. finally found that at the end of, I mean, I desperately wanted, dun, dun, then, dun, dun, then, then.
Starting point is 01:28:49 Desperately. Craig says, yes, by the way. You can give it up. Okay, so we will, so Joseph, to answer your question that even after it closes, if people want to still contribute, they can, it's just a matter of, you know, hitting the goals now and being there by the time we close it out, that that's the initial, that will go to boardwalk and they'll be able to say, okay, let's start putting in torch production. Let's start making sure we make these sneakers.
Starting point is 01:29:15 But then there'll be stuff towards the line that comes down. Yeah. All right, what's next? Bill, this is trick. He's donkey. Well, two ladies. We agreed he's going to be, he's going to be dressing up his Shrek. All right, let's see.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Next one. Hit me. So we got that back. Every time I hear that, that one makes me a good. uncomfortable because I'm like, oh, dude, he missed his pants. That's, yes. Quite a few kickstores make a good chunk of their overall funding after the campaign of the first over.
Starting point is 01:29:55 Thank you, Harvsky. I mean, again, it's all new to me. It's all new to me. Honestly, the whole Shrek deal has become moot, meaning it has zero surprise factor. Not anything I'd want to exhaust value at the time watching. It is a gag of them. Why'd you highlight that stupid? I didn't mean to it.
Starting point is 01:30:10 It was like, it scrolled up and then also you started reading it. So I just kind of like that. I think he did it. because POD is still trying to find a way out of it. That's the only thing I can think of is he's like, well, if nobody wants it, then I don't have to do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:23 Yeah, he said, he's, I don't know, shit with that guy, I think so. Yeah, you're, I'm going to,
Starting point is 01:30:28 I'm going to play that freaking theme music when you, when you, I got a copyright on that. I don't care. All right, what's next? If we hit 300 K by Kickstarter and PILD dressed up as,
Starting point is 01:30:42 as, well, no, what's he going to do both oh dude and then you fucking green screen him next to each I make him have a full conversation don't care I can't believe we actually did this oh shit
Starting point is 01:30:53 just like have him just talk to himself for a day oh god but no you know what no this is one that I will definitely do I will definitely do this but I don't know if you deal with field evil if we hit 300 by the end
Starting point is 01:31:11 PILD will will dress up his donkey and I'll send him to the Aphian Awards but he's got to dress his donkey. I have never wanted a Kickstarter to get the full scope of their stretch goal funding in my entire life.
Starting point is 01:31:29 He's got to be Mike's cameraman but he's dressed as donkey. Wait, does Mike have to be dressed as Shrekman? No, no, no, no, no, can't do that. PLD, if we hit 300 by the end of the night, that's $25,000 to $25,000 by the end of the campaign, which is going to be very hard to do.
Starting point is 01:31:47 Would you dress up as, I'll send you the A-B-N with Mike, but you got to be dressed as dongy all the time. Get me? I want to help so much, and I want that live event, I'll do it. Okay. All right, so there you go. We hit 300 by the end of the night tonight.
Starting point is 01:32:07 If we hit 300 by the end of the night, I will also send PLD to, but he's going to be dressed up as don't, from from uh because roka roka helps kind of make this happen so um dude oh my god be so good nothing would make me laugh harder and i i'm i'm literally imagining there's a dude that's been sitting there he's like ah i've been waiting for this exact thing to spend by 24 000 dollars here that's where your mind goes how about the guy who just won best stagecock who's going why's there guy he dresses a donkey following.
Starting point is 01:32:45 Because he loves ass. Now that's a big ass. A great big ass. And the fact that Mike's got to walk around with them the whole time is even better. Mike's going to be walking around. Oh, man. Mabe.
Starting point is 01:33:04 He'll just quit the job. It's not worth it. So good. Oh, my God. Sam's watching. And Sam says, you should dress as big. balls. That's so good.
Starting point is 01:33:19 I think Shrek will be the ears and the tail walking around. Oh my God. If there's anybody out there that can make this happen, you'll make the live event happen and you'll make some of the best content
Starting point is 01:33:32 ever on this channel happen. Oh, my God. Oh, what I do for the show. That is really good stuff right there. Again, but Pielde, you know, I think you're in good shape because look, we got a healthy number here with 276 109, right? 276, 282. And, but we still need a little less than 24,000 in order to make that happen.
Starting point is 01:34:00 So you would be, dude, you walking around Vegas during the 80s awards as fucking donkey would be the best thing I've ever heard of on my life. That would be absolutely. And literally every time they asked, you just go, hey, man. I love it. Yeah. Yeah. Like, like,
Starting point is 01:34:17 I'm not going to use the donkey voice. I'm not speaking like I do. You do not have to do that. You do not have to do that. But you definitely have to be a Mike's camera. You definitely have to be a Mike's cameraman. You have to be dressed as the donkey. And when I almost want, I almost want like if people ask you why you dress like that,
Starting point is 01:34:35 and you're like, just like what? What? Yeah. What do you mean? It's just like, yeah. All right. And let's get to the next one. Do we think they'll announce
Starting point is 01:34:45 Air to the Empire at Celebration, 2027, would be smart? No, because that's not, I think what's smart actually is that they're, it looks like they actually have a plan. And if it's this trilogy, they're going to focus in on that trilogy.
Starting point is 01:35:01 I think, I think it's like a spinoff Disney Plus movie or something. That's what I'm sorry. Unless that's going to be the next Disney Plus after season two kind of thing. If it's like a Disney plus movie, maybe, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's going to spend his time. It, now that he's the head that this is, this, that to me would be an issue. It's like that, I mean, you're going to, is, he already was show running Asoka season two and he should be making decisions about, you know, what the hell's going on. So I, I, I don't know. I, I think the time, the time is past.
Starting point is 01:35:34 Maybe he steps back and, like, the story gets told. He just writes it or whatever. Maybe. You know what I mean? Maybe. Uh, what's next? uh, Kubrick's daughter did heaps good behind the scenes doc documentary of Shining should do that for your show. Yeah, we will, we're, we're definitely going to be recording some stuff.
Starting point is 01:35:54 Um, and that's what's going to be going out to a lot of the members who backed it or the, the backers. Yeah. What else? Hey, Winston, how do I get in contact with you? Are you on the discord? I'm on the discord. Um, so yeah, if you want to, if you want to shoot me a DM over there.
Starting point is 01:36:08 Yeah. I can, I'll check it up. What's up? Peel de and Roka, YouTube's biggest will-they-will-day relationships is Rob McDonald's. That's great. It's really good. I'm scrolling through now. Thank you guys for giving me my props on that.
Starting point is 01:36:24 I'm willing to do it. All right. No, Martini was not on Camille. Yoshimitsu. Important for Shrek Day. Is there a cover of All-Star played entirely on Hollywood Outfruits that's on YouTube? Speaking of Hollywood, where the hell is Ron H been? Yeah, that's a good question.
Starting point is 01:36:38 You've seen Ron H in a while. And then who was the one that was back and forth that we were sure was also Ron H? Well, that was the dude that was, oh, yeah, yeah, the other guy that was, not that. There's one guy that he said he could leave for a little bit, but then there was one guy. Yeah, it's right. Yeah, yeah, I don't remember. Let's see. That was the other one.
Starting point is 01:36:59 We are getting out and dirty now. PLD dressing as a donkey. Thanks, that. Great. All right. Good to know. Wait a minute. Was that guy dressed as a donkey?
Starting point is 01:37:12 That's a fat ass. Was that the killer with an ass? A great big ass. PLD is donkey. People asking what PLD stands for a pretty long. Apparently, you guys having gangbangs during watchalongs of the snowdown. Or what's next? I think that.
Starting point is 01:37:41 might be at that we're caught up now so yeah has anything else if anybody else wants me still i got if not i'm going to jump and eat some lunch sam's waiting for me to to get to let her know that i've eaten the ziti which i'm about to do um all right anything else i think so all right thank you to winston and uh pldee is kind of fun little show here today i know that we didn't have a uh a normal show that we normally but we'll be back to that next week i'll do my show on monday with roka Mike and Roxy probably on together, I'll be on with Smets on Wednesday. Thursday, it might take off. And Friday, if I do take off, I'll probably just move Chris to Friday so that we shouldn't lose
Starting point is 01:38:22 a show and I'll put her on Winston. And so, yeah, then I got a bunch of other things going on. I mean, it's a flirting with us up. The avians would fit in pretty well, actually. Yes, there's another one here. They'll probably mistake him as a furry. I was thinking the same thing, actually. That's true.
Starting point is 01:38:41 I said go through my mind. Shit. Great picture. Mr. I crap and shits. Roka dresses and same. I try to get Roka to do something like simple yesterday. He was like he was going to charge me like three grand just to do that. God damn.
Starting point is 01:38:54 No, but I'm not sure what he says. I'm not doing that for this. And I was like, whatever I can remember. He was kidding and having fun with it. But he wasn't, but he was joking but serious at the same time. That makes sense. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:39:08 What's next? Anything else? That's it. I think before I lose anything else at this point, they better get out of here. You know, we got to, you know, because I'm not going to ask you to do this, but because you won't do it.
Starting point is 01:39:20 Luke, post on the community of our new goal. Post them community post. How does Lou Skate, by the way? Well, because, I mean, let's, you do a lot for the channel. You do. There's no doubt about it. Luke, Luke does a lot for this channel.
Starting point is 01:39:38 I think Luke has a little more carp launch. So But Luke can put on the on the post to say our new goal If we do hit 300K by the end of it We're not only resending Mike Kalanowski to the AVN PLD will go with him But we're going to address him as donkey from Shrek
Starting point is 01:39:54 Perfect All right thank you Thank you to PLD for being a good sport Thanks for once for being here Thank you to you guys once again Regardless of wherever we land And currently we're at 276 282
Starting point is 01:40:08 and I thank you guys for everything that you've done here for us today. Appreciate it. Everything you've done for the campaign in general. And we're excited to move forward with this project. And yes, Craig confirmed if you guys want to in the future after the campaign ends, and you're like, oh, I can't, I couldn't contribute today, but I can contribute in two weeks. And there you go. It'll be available to do it.
Starting point is 01:40:31 So thanks, everybody. Have a great weekend. Check us out of our Clipsch channel, all this other stuff. stuff. Appreciate you. See you soon. Wow. Oh, really good. Fail.
