Shame, I say.
Starting point is 00:02:06 So we've got some more stuff that we're going to talk about. The One Piece Season 2 trailer dropped the Mandalorian and Grogo. Lucasfilm says that that Super Bowl parody advertisement was the perfect step for their campaign. I'm sure Mike agrees. So we are going to discuss that and, of course, TV time with Roxanne. and strier. So have you guys seen my, my friend the bike? Well, you know what? I'll show Mike and Roxy because there's no way they know what it is. They don't pay attention to my channel when they're not on it. That's fine. So, but maybe I'm wrong. Roxy is the one person that might.
Starting point is 00:02:45 So I shouldn't say that. Roxy always surprises me. Mike is predictable. So let's get into it. Here's the show. It's me, Mike and Roxy. Here we go. What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to the show. thank you on this Tuesday joining me on the show as always uh is roxanne stryer hello roxy how are you oh wait you're muted but that's on me that's my fault how are you that's okay who needs to hear me anyway that's not true and michael kalanowski is here as well uh mike what's going on how are you what do you what do you like i heard you already heard you already heard you bespeach in my good name it's besmirch stupid what's besme That's my own word I make up.
Starting point is 00:03:40 It's fine. So let me ask because go ahead. No, I don't know what's a bike. You don't know about the bike? Yeah, I don't know what it is either. I did see you lifting this morning. Hell yeah. Oh, thanks.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Yeah. A bike like that, like a workout bike? No. So Mike's going to love this because this is such a, this is such a my sense of humor thing. Here we go. I done Wuthering Heights to do the reaction to it. I've been telling everybody about stuff got a chance to see this the next day.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Oh, no. So I did the Wuthering Heights. reaction out of the theater reaction doing the doing you know two minutes whatever it was next day i checked i didn't check the comments for the whole night next day all i see mike on the comments are when did harlis start doing delivery for uber eats what's going on here what's what what's you doing what's happening uh let's say like harloss on tough times this and that's i don't get why that's oh oh my god you did not notice what is that is that toilet paper rep that Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:39 It's like, Mike, what 80s character does that look like? Oh, it's a short circuit. 100%. 95. 100%. That's incredible. It's really good. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:04:51 You probably started seeing the comments and you were like, what the actual I had no idea. And then when I finally saw it, I was crying. Yeah, of course. How the hell did you do that? Absolutely. It's been an ongoing joke for like quite a while. What is that?
Starting point is 00:05:06 Like, why did you steal? toilet paper for the place you're just was handlebars i don't know we were trying to figure it out but it's it's just not wear a helmet and that's a safety thing it's probably it's on the house person who needs toilet paper but that's their transportation so like that's how they bring it around with them i don't know maybe um so not yours um christian i'm so devastated that i couldn't get an invite to this movie was it good um so i can do reaction it's it's look it i didn't really know the story so much the first time I saw it. Their chemistry is really good. I don't like the the characters. I hate them. They're horrible people. Okay. It's a toxic relationship the whole way through. You only,
Starting point is 00:05:46 you know, care because it's them. But like, do you have a hard time with horrible characters? Like, is that not your jam? No. It's, and it's not, it's a gorgeous movie. Like, it looks really, really, but it's just like, you know, because Walter White's not a likable dude, you know, and I love that show. Tony Soprano's not, he means. Yeah, but you didn't love him with Skyler. True. But, you know, there's things. Do you like toxic love ever?
Starting point is 00:06:14 You didn't watch heated rivalries. I mean, Sid Nancy is about as toxic as it gets, right? But it's kind of like that. It's like a toxic relationship the whole way through. They're just horrible to each other. They're horrible to other people, but you're just like, but it is, but it's entertaining. The movie's entertaining. So I think you'd like it.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I think you'll enjoy the movie. I, this is where I feel. like they miss opportunities. Not that I'm some big wig or whatever, but me being invited, more beneficial for them than a lot of the people. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:45 This movie. Right. Better than some asshole who's going to be doing in front of a bike. 100% that. Like I'm certainly your target demo. Why am I getting rejected for this movie? So, so odd.
Starting point is 00:06:56 I don't understand the decision sometimes. I don't know. Who knows? Nonetheless, that one comes out. Then the big one that comes out is goat. The animated film? Oh my God. Everybody was on that carpet.
Starting point is 00:07:08 People's raving for that one. Yeah. So I'd miss the screening for that. It was over the weekend. I was going to take my little one, but we just had so many plans. I couldn't get to it. So I was like,
Starting point is 00:07:17 well, what am I going to do? Am I going to go see it? Or should I just maybe one of these ones that I wait for a reaction now? Because that's the benefit of my channel that if I can do the reaction. Like the Sydney, Sweeney one, I still haven't seen Sadie's coming in tomorrow. I haven't seen it either. Yeah, we're going to react to that one.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Yeah. So we're going to say he's coming in tomorrow. We're going to react to that. all the Game of Thrones stuff and it's kind of why because we were thinking with it was jack shit going on and Mike I know you're probably going to fall asleep during the conversation where we're going to talk about this Gamer Throne show
Starting point is 00:07:44 I know I got a lot to say about that show I didn't see it but I got a lot to say but anytime you talk about goat I don't think of goat I thought it was a movie I thought you remember you'll remember this Harloff the Adam Sandler tape with the goat oh yeah the old man's like Hey goat what you're doing out there
Starting point is 00:08:01 nothing old man go back to sleep 100% of drinking and beating the fuck out of me. Yeah. That album is goat. I'm like, oh, I remember the goat. The story about Jennifer Lawrence, who said
Starting point is 00:08:15 that when she was on set with Merrill Streep, they all were like walking around and they all referred to her as goat because Grace was that who's in the cast? No. This is not on the goat movie. There's nothing to do with it. Nothing to do with it except for the goat thing.
Starting point is 00:08:31 He told the goat story. Then I thought of this goat story. because Jennifer Lawrence was saying when they would walk around, they would all refer to her as goat like, oh, get the goat to this place, whatever. And so one time Meryl Streep was walking around and she was like, it's just me, old goat coming through
Starting point is 00:08:45 and the entire shooting, they thought she thought that they were all referring to her. Oh, that's hilarious. And she's like adopted. She's like, old goat coming to set and they were like, no, my mom wouldn't understand that either. She had no idea what it was done for. Yep. Just me, the old goat.
Starting point is 00:09:01 The old goat. But that Adam Sandler album, Mike, was super underrated. Super underrated. I remember at the time, everybody was talking about that one. But anyway, okay. So we've got that movie coming out, Wuthering Heights coming out. And then the big one that I think is going to win February is clearly going to be scream. That movie's going to be the biggest box office winner of the month, I think.
Starting point is 00:09:28 You don't think that all the backlash against it's going to seriously hurt it. I think what if it's not good yeah but within our circle sure maybe a couple people take a stance and don't go see it but the regular public they're not going to they're not going to give a shit oh no I'm certainly seeing it I'm not saying you I'm not saying you I'm saying like there's people in within our circle that's going to go you know what people aren't going to see this movie and like nobody cares they're going of course they're going to see it they want to see scream if they still the question is is the magic still there for the franchise I don't think controversies have anything to do with Well, I think that the controversy
Starting point is 00:10:01 it completely affects the plot of the movie. Oh, you're not wrong because you have a different cast now and you're shifting back. However, it's not like you're throwing to new characters that no one knows. You're throwing to the old classics and that's, I would agree
Starting point is 00:10:17 that if you were throwing to random characters now that no one knows because of the controversy, then I would agree 100% this might have a problem. But you're throwing to, you're going, it's like you're going back to the legends, you know? Totally. I didn't, I didn't, I think it's because I just rewatch Scream 6.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And it's so good, but also, like, we're clearly in a trilogy there. We were clearly in a trilogy of the new blood. And so I'm kind of curious what they're going to do. But I love the old school people, too. So you're right. Like, if they do it well, then I won't care. I mean that I won't care about the quality of the movie. And look, the trailers did really what Matthew Lillard's coming back.
Starting point is 00:10:54 You know, it's like, is Scream Fanatics? If they cared two and a half, three years ago, in the story, the controversy was most of them are going to go, Aaron, I was mad then, I'm not really mad anymore. I'm going to go see it. I just, I don't think it's going to have any impact at all.
Starting point is 00:11:11 And you don't think that the movie's going to be the first scream movie to not be a good movie. You think it's going to do, be a good movie. That's not fair for me to say because I think I like two of them. Oh, I enjoy watching all of them. It's very similar to me like Jurassic
Starting point is 00:11:27 Park. I'll go and watch Scream in the theater. every single time because it's a fun experience. I shouldn't say two. I think there's more than two that I've liked. I just, that's actually not true at all. I think that I've enjoyed a majority of them. No, I'm not Jesus, but thank you for thinking that. I, more so just like, there's times that I've been like,
Starting point is 00:11:47 your hair is stupid today. So it's like, because I haven't been to the barber. Penny Barber coming in hot. Look, I will say this. Mike's taken off work. Mike's taken off work. Really? Yeah, it's looking like it's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:12:08 I got a couple messages about wanting me to be in that interview. I will say, I will say. I know, I know. And it just this one, got to give it a Mikey for this. I'm not clamoring for it. No, I know. I know you're not. You're really the only other person I'd allow into it. because I know you're quite,
Starting point is 00:12:28 I know how good you are at interviewing. I don't know how good Mike is. He just earned it because he's, because he's been here. I want to know, um, if it's kind of ruined watching for her, even other people,
Starting point is 00:12:39 like, because she knows how the sausage is made or like, is that still enjoyable for her? Shit, man, I might have to fucking invite you into the damn interview. Well, don't you wonder that? Like,
Starting point is 00:12:49 yeah, I know, I'm, I think having your point of view would be good, but it's just four people on the screen. Yeah, no, no,
Starting point is 00:12:54 that's fine. I'm just, that's, That's why I'm telling you. She's going into directing now, so maybe she likes that better. I love that you know that. If this is what you did. She had a picture of her with the giant camera in a bikini.
Starting point is 00:13:07 She's like dream made. It's absolutely amazing that you know that. But do you think, do you think like if this is what you did, that it would no longer be to watch? Do you, I don't know. Being an actress, do you not like watching movies? You know how the sausage is made, but you love watching movies. I was thinking about that, Mike. I don't know if it's the same as being an actress as much as like if you're stunt double,
Starting point is 00:13:30 watching stunts might not be as interesting to, like if you know how they're doing it. I think it's more interesting. I think another, another question is that does it, because it's like I was thinking about this when you go to work, I come home. I don't really want to talk about movies. Right. You know what I mean? So like, and she's married.
Starting point is 00:13:49 But it's like, you know, what did you do today? I think you know what I did. Do you want to do that again? No, I don't. Yeah, but okay, I actually think that that's very different for men and women in general. Like oftentimes women, the more it's happening, the more they want it, not less. Yeah, but also, you know, she's, I don't know. It's fair question.
Starting point is 00:14:07 And I will say as you, as you get older as women, men want it more, women want it less. Older. But is that true? I feel like men want it less when they're older. I thought, I thought women want it more as they get older. What? Women want it more as they get older. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:22 What the fuck do I know? Older women, six drive is insane. At the same point, I think like, because right, like after menopause and sometimes like it can be uncomfortable and there's different things you have to add into your routine. Right. From what I heard. Listen, we're going to find out. But Roxy, don't count it out yet. Don't count it.
Starting point is 00:14:40 I'm just throwing things out there that I'd like you guys to ask about. Like a lot of lifestyle questions. Yeah. No, that's where I'm going with it too. Don't, don't count it out. Maybe I'll kick Mike off and just mean you do it. no Mike my Mike's gonna be good my fans will hate you your fans will hate you and they won't you would hate me I would never I would never be able to live that down with Mike Mike would be
Starting point is 00:15:01 like name two questions you have for her mic no don't don't don't don't I don't want to know until they have so that was one of the things that they asked they asked if we could you know send this questions before and I said I don't really do that I don't I don't like think of the questions that I'm going to ask I said I have a general idea where I want to go but I don't do like the thing I guess we're going to do a pre-tta you tape because I want her to feel comfortable. And I also said, if we ask something that you don't like and you want to cut out, we'll cut it out.
Starting point is 00:15:32 But I don't do the, here's the 10 questions I'm going to ask. I hate when interviewers do that. I hate when it seems scripted. I don't like it. I don't consider myself an interviewer as much as its categories. I like to have a conversation. And that's what I want to have with her. That's what you do very well.
Starting point is 00:15:46 It's always awkward when you know that somebody is angling to get to a certain question. And so like, somebody will answer the question. and then they'll be like, yeah, it was a great day with sunshine. And then the interview will be like, speaking of sunshine, right, and the color yellow. One time when you were, it's just like, I hate the generic interviews, the boring stuff. It's like, what is it like? What is it like? Who cares?
Starting point is 00:16:12 It's like, who are you? That's what the audience really wants to. Who are you? And I think that that's the thing is I don't think she gets that a lot. Let me tell you what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I want to be, it should be different. So people want to come, they want to come back.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Like, hey, I was. I was on these guys show. They're awesome. They don't know who she is. It's a job. They sit there and go, who's the biggest guy you've ever been with? Do you like girth or length?
Starting point is 00:16:31 But that's probably what she assumes because that's kind of, when you see these mutants, sometimes when they interview these people, like they ask the same shit. And he has these faces like, oh, you ever seen a 20 inch asshole? And it's like, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:16:45 It's like, leave her alone. But in all fairness. How many hole? How many can you fit in one time? Right, right. Get the fuck out of here. Christian, I actually think what's your favorite part about being on set would be a very interesting question. To her, yes.
Starting point is 00:16:59 But I'm talking about like to Emma Stone. What is your favorite part of being on set? I'm like to Emma Stone. So who cares? You should ask about crafty. I wonder what it is. And is there someone who's monitoring handwash? Yeah, that for sure.
Starting point is 00:17:14 And like, do you break? Is it, do they have the same rules where like certain hours and you break for lunch or like, what's the crafty? union. There's no sex worker union, this is not fair. This is not fair because I'm going to know the answer here. I don't know if Luke is watching. PLD, I think is sleeping. So let's, I want to do a poll. Should Roxy be part of this interview? I know that it's going to be, I know it's going to be overwhelming, yes. Okay. And, but in terms of the crafty, like, this is my crafty. You have to be careful depending on what things you're being asked of that day of what you're eating. Roxy, no one's eating crafty on a day
Starting point is 00:17:47 when you're doing anal. That's just not. Or is it? Or is it. pizza day that day. Yeah. Or you're not doing crafty on a day when there's anil. Come on now. Come on now. All right. Listen,
Starting point is 00:18:01 you guys got to beat Roka again, obviously. Where do you got? What do you do? 87. He's been putting up big numbers to start the week. Yeah, he beat you guys last week. I really thought he had it last week.
Starting point is 00:18:11 He really did. Steph is now, last week, Seth was on Rocks, and they had a great showing. But that was your week when you did the ridiculous number. But Steph, on the last three times she's been on by herself, she has won. So the question is, will she do that?
Starting point is 00:18:29 It's by herself with you or by herself, self? Well, no, no, with me. I mean, solo, solo. So what have you guys been talking about? I mean, I think it's just, no, it's just a bunch of different. And last week was the bike, Johnny Five. We talked about that for a bit. But we just, you know, we just kind of, we've got a good rapport, two of us, too,
Starting point is 00:18:46 we're doing, like, we're going to do that Muppet special today, actually. We're going to react to that. Hey, how many times are they going to reboot this Muppet show? Didn't they just do it like five, six years ago at ABC? Success is success. You know? So. Sure.
Starting point is 00:19:05 I don't know. Yeah. Anyway. I don't like the Muppets. All right. I want to get into this first topic and then we can move. Well, you know what? Let me tell.
Starting point is 00:19:14 I'm going to, real quick, I want to tell everybody about our friends over at Factor. And then we'll come back and we'll do the story. Here we go. Thank you to our good friends over at Factor. Yeah, to no one's surprise, Roxy has already got like 67% of the vote. They want her on. I got to see she's available. I got to see when she's available. I don't know if we have the date even locked in yet. You know what we're looking at.
Starting point is 00:19:43 So I got to find that out. I know it's like it's the end of the month, but we're looking at. I think it's the kind of thing where you feel more comfortable or less comfortable when there's a woman in the room. Probably. More or less. I think she'd feel more. Especially because she doesn't know us.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Right. Right. You know, and it's like, and so. But sometimes I feel like women can be the judgiest, which I'm not, but she doesn't know that. So I never know if she like would rather be a woman be in the room or rather like not. Because maybe that's who she's gotten most heat from. Maybe. I'm wondering if somebody is, I'm wondering if she comes in.
Starting point is 00:20:21 shut your ass. I wonder if she comes in and she sees three people. She's like, whoa, three people, a lot. But who knows? Well, I don't watch her kind of stuff, but would three people be a lot for her? Intimidatings? And probably not. No.
Starting point is 00:20:37 But she's probably going to, she's probably going to like a specific moment, he could have just read. She probably wanted to just ask us to leave. I don't blame her. No. You know? So you said I didn't know she was married. I didn't know that. That's what she says.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Now I'm doing research on the interviews. You can find interviews on YouTube that is just her talking. Kids or no kids? That I don't know. That I don't know. That's a conversation I guess we could have. So, anyway. All right.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Anyway. Yeah, let's get to this topic because I'm so glad. And I had a chance. I've watched the whole season of 9th. The Seven Kingdoms. I watched a whole season. I've talked about this. I'm so jealous. And when I was watching and I said, look, I don't know what people are going to think about this year. I can tell you what I think. It gets progressively better every episode. You've seen the last episode, rocks? The most recent episode, not the last episode. Well, no, the most recent one that just
Starting point is 00:21:40 aired on Friday. Okay. Yes. So we'll talk a little bit more about that on, you know, I guess on your TV picks as well. But this show is doing very well now, too. And I think that one of the main things that's always the most important, always. And it's going to be something that I'm going to make sure that it's one of the reasons I'm going to give like an inside look to how this is done is the casting. And I'm going to do that for my show. And I think the cast it, they got Dunkin' Egg. I mean, you couldn't get better chemistry.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Have you seen the videos rocks of them when they cast this kid? Perfect. Perfect. And I love him afterwards. but kid takes the role so fucking seriously. Have you, did you get to watch? Because I know you didn't have this at the time when you got your screeners.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Did you get to watch the after talks? Have you on back and watched any of them? No, but I have seen clips on, on Instagram, I think, and that's where I saw like, how they cast this kid when they shaved his head.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Like, is that part of it? It's like the interviews where they're asking him about the specific episode. And so they'll be like, okay, so like for two episodes ago, for example, they'll be like, okay, so there was that training montage where Egg goes out to try to figure out how to deal with the horse and whatever.
Starting point is 00:22:55 And he's like, yeah, it's very important to do a really good job when you're a squire. And I really needed to figure out the height of where to hand him things to hand him for. So, of course, I'm going to go out into the field and I'm going to, he takes it so seriously. So seriously. Like a trained. National, natural instincts. He says natural instincts. but he's not like
Starting point is 00:23:21 I don't know he's not like oh yeah that's what they told me to do so I went and did it it was kind of fun like he's like you know as a squire yeah he's very he's very very locked is this a game of throwing spin off yes it's a it's a prequel it takes place um it takes place
Starting point is 00:23:39 it's ruined it what whatever because she's laughing you're making this up aren't you no no no I swear to god it's after it's after house of the dragon and it's before the what are you laughing What are you laughing at? What happened? He thinks you're making up the biggest show on TV right now. No, no, he's thinking, he's thinking I'm making up when it comes out.
Starting point is 00:24:00 No, no, he thinks you're making up the show. No, he knows the show. I know the show. He knows the show. He knows the show. He was making up. I thought I was making up when it took place. I thought it was a, it wasn't a game of throwing spin-off.
Starting point is 00:24:15 And I thought you were trying to tie it into Game of Thrones and you were going to go, well, it takes place back in this. No, no, no, but no, I know it's a show. What I will tell you is that you could watch this show without ever watching House of the Dragon. Shut your ass or Game of Thrones and really and still enjoy it and not be lost at all. Okay, so now let me say why I said this, because I am aware of some, not controversy with this show, some a lot of people that love this show. And what they're saying is, finally, a show that's not woke, a strong, straight white,
Starting point is 00:24:48 dude leading hero type that they don't try and give him you know he's not an asshole of people he's just a good dude that's white and he's a man and we love it that is a whole corner of the internet that is loving the show for those reasons so it made me that's why i was like is this game of thrones i don't know why but there is a massive not woke they're just so used to they're so used to, and I'm, I'm, because it's what I, you know, if I tweeted, you know, it brings in that algorithm. They're so used to like, oh, here's another guy, straight white guy. What are they going to make him an asshole? Are they going to make him the bad guy? Are they going to make him this? And this guy's like, they're like, they're like a good dude that's just they adapted. They adapted.
Starting point is 00:25:34 He's a hero saving women. It's like. But they adapted from George R. Martin's that story. And it's like, so this is, that's part of the story. You're arguing intelligence with, that has nothing to do with it. The point is it's a really good story and the actors are really are solid. And it is it is a, it's just to me right now, one of the better things on TV
Starting point is 00:25:56 because when I was worried about the first episode because I said, okay, I like it. I can understand. I hope they don't get too goofy with it because there's some goofy stuff in this. It's light. You can stick with it.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Is it going to feel like Game of Thrones? And it does. It just progressively gets better and better. Like I said, in the intro, goofing on this guy, but serious also, he said, well, I don't know, I'm surprised Harlov liked that I bailed after the first episode. That's a mistake because it gets better and better and better. The last episode, you feel like, okay, we're in Game of Thrones right now. Am I wrong, rocks?
Starting point is 00:26:30 You felt that. Well, the reason, I don't think you're wrong. I do think it's gotten better every episode. However, the reason I kind of do think you might be wrong is if I didn't like the first episode, I still don't think I'd like the show. But it gets progressively better. It does. However, if you didn't like the characters in the first episode. Oh, yeah, I like the first episode.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I liked the character. I liked it. So, like, if people are like, I really didn't like the first episode, then, okay, it's not, maybe the show's not for you. But I am with you that every episode's gotten better. This most recent episode, I thought was incredible. It's incredible. All of them. I think the show is amazing.
Starting point is 00:27:04 I actually prefer this to House of the Dragon, which is crazy. A lot of people are saying that. And I love House of the Dragon. And, you know, it's more intense. I'm definitely more fleshed out of the universe show. But this is my kind of story. I like when we go on little side quests. I like finding people like Dunk.
Starting point is 00:27:23 It's small. It's a contained story. Yeah. And as a TV person, this is what television used to be. Like, this is TV for me. This is these six episodes, character focused. It's not an ensemble of 50 where you are not dedicated to any one person. Like, you genuinely love the show.
Starting point is 00:27:41 show because you care about Dunkin' Egg. So, yeah. Well, they have trust in these characters and up because the character has so much history. Even like I mentioned this yesterday, I'm watching season four of Game of Thrones right now and Joffrey brings up, or it might have been season three, Joffrey brings up
Starting point is 00:27:57 Sir Duncan. He brings him up. He talks about him and he talks about how he was so, you know, revered. And that's interesting to me. And I was thinking about this morning because as you get through this first season, they're definitely going to do second season now. It's doing very well. And I guess that's
Starting point is 00:28:14 the other part of the story. So I wanted to read this. Doing pretty well thus far. Good. Thank goodness. You can kind of tell because, as I always say, and I'm sure like Greg would probably say the same thing too. Like when you see the reactions, the reactions on different channels in general, when they either plateau or go down, you're like, I mean, there's not a lot of interest
Starting point is 00:28:35 in this show. They've been consistently, at least for me, going up on each one, and more and more people are getting on board with this one. It's like, oh, there's an interest in this show in general and what people are actually thinking about it because sometimes they're like, I don't really give a shit with this video thinks about the show, but if they're liking it, they want to see what other people are thinking. A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, episode four sets an IMDB score record. The article was public, blah, blah, blah. Viewers are raving about episode four, a night of the seven kingdoms,
Starting point is 00:29:03 seven easily the best episode of the show so far. Oh, I don't want to do spoilers. Uh, hold on, let me sort of it. Don't look, don't look, don't look. Okay, seven, a record is the highest scoring night of seven kingdoms episode to date with a 9.7 out of 10 that's above the 8.1 8.3 9.1 of episodes 1 and 3 however this also places it among the top three highest scoring episodes of the entire game of throne series wow uh game of thrones the reigns of casimir uh game of throids winter uh seven game of thames black water line that's crazy this highest scoring episode of house of the dragon the dragon the red dragon and the gold is a 9.4 Another record, a night of the seven kingdoms held on to his 95% on Rotten Tomatoes
Starting point is 00:29:42 with Game of Thrones at an 88%. I can't see how anyone can give this series under 3 out of 5. I don't understand that. But whatever. A night of the seven kingdoms are shaping up to be a formidable weapon in HBO's roster, given both the praise for it and the fact for its short length will allow it to film and air every year. Season 2 is already filming. There you go.
Starting point is 00:30:02 As an annual release, something HBO is very much into ever since the pit. The showrunners have also discussed they see. seemingly infinite number of seasons to make given the source material. I mean, it goes on forever. I mean, I read some of the stuff. And, you know, Matt Sarah is a massive fan of this graphic novel also. What goes on forever? The story.
Starting point is 00:30:20 Yeah, the story of Sir Duncan and Egg and Egg. And they talk about Egg in Game of Thrones. Like, he goes on to be, like, I don't, I won't spoil it for people, but he goes on to do a lot of stuff as an adult. It's, I will say this about this episode, though. You see how well it's doing in the. ratings and what people are saying about it, I think the next episode's even better. So there's two left, right?
Starting point is 00:30:45 Yeah. If Christian, you heard this wasn't getting a second season, is episode six satisfying enough to wrap out the show? It's enough to where, because you know the history of what happens to them? Like, okay, so they had this adventure, what happens? And then we know that it goes on to do this. If you look into the history books, you can see where they go from here. But it wraps up this story.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I still think that five and six could have been one big episode. I think five is going to be, I think people are going to love five. And then six are going to go, oh, that's the tail end to episode five is episode six. Yeah. But it's still,
Starting point is 00:31:23 I would recommend if people can hold out to watch five and six together, but they won't. And I don't believe them. I'm certainly not going to do that. No, I know. Mike, you should watch this series,
Starting point is 00:31:32 though, because you've never watched Game of Thrones, right? Well, I'm telling you, I'm actually, I've been at that point, it's like, you know what? I think I'm going to start Game of Thrones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I think you dig it. I would watch, I'd start with this series. You could. You could start with this. You honestly could, the way that they set this up is that, you know, you could, you could absolutely start with this series. And then I'd say jump into the original series. Okay. Not to make things awkward, but Mikey doesn't do reactions for you?
Starting point is 00:31:58 Not yet. No. And he knows his system, his system's a lot better now. The originally reason I didn't ask is because it's such a shit system, but it's better now. I feel like his reactions would be. I think they'd be pretty great. I mean, yeah,
Starting point is 00:32:11 I mean, Game of Thrones is already taken at this point. I'm sure there's tons of movies Mike hasn't seen. Probably should have Mike start doing stuff. So he rocks. Roxy's got you got some more, more gigs on this channel. Thanks,
Starting point is 00:32:20 thanks, smart. Real good. It's real good. I don't know that I can get you in Christian's show, but I am in Christian's show. So if I'm going to be in Christian's show, then it's okay for you to be doing the reactions.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Your reactions. Fair. Fair. Fair trade. So with that, Well, let's wrap this up first. I'm very curious to hear what people are thinking about this show in general. Look at this. Mike might even start this show.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Maybe Mike can talk about it next week. Mike, you can probably binge it too, man. It's like 30-minute episodes. So I think they're absolutely will be season two. And because of what they said, if they're doing it every year, 30-minute intervals, it's the smaller of the three series that they have. They can definitely, it's contained. I think that an end I wonder if they're going to do the same thing
Starting point is 00:33:08 as eventually it gets older and they have them as you know an adult and I wonder if they're going to do the same kind of jump but it's an infinite amount of serious they can keep doing it I mean it's like that's the thing wrong is that this show you could do if you if you wanted to like because this that's always the thing with like the kids right just watch and we'll talk about it the one piece trailer and I was wondering I'm like oh no it's been like three four years I'm going to look significantly older, they didn't. But a lot of times, they're stranger things. It looks like they're 75 years old now when at the time they're doing the show and it's jarring. But this is different
Starting point is 00:33:44 because they can plan around that and they can go, all right, we're shooting right now and this kid is now significantly looks older and he's hitting time in his life where he's getting taller, his voice is changing those things. But we're going to write this season around that. We're going to make sure that now it's a time jump. And we're going to cover the part where now they're here doing this and egg is doing this and duncan's doing this they can make that work the question is how long they're going to do it because eventually you know again if you know the lore you follow egg as a as a man um so are they going to jump into that you know or they can do what house of the dragon do which is that's what i mean like a leap right right that's where they're going to jump into it and
Starting point is 00:34:30 and then eventually do it. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. People will be, because that kid who plays him is 11 years old now. Is HBO? Yeah, HBO Max or HBO. And it's a Game of Thrones spin-off. Yes.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Did you know that, Mike? Yes, I know. Okay. Time to get a haircut. No one. Okay. All right, smart asses. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Listen, what do you guys think? You like it? You not like it? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know. Are you excited to see what's coming next? And I guess, Roxy, another question for you. We know House of the Dragon they announced that season four is going to be the end of.
Starting point is 00:35:08 That's it. So we have season three. They're going to wrap with season four. I think that's a good plan. I think season three has to hit big because I am not one of these people, but a lot of, most people were a little disappointed with season two. And I think it's because they didn't end with the big battle. I think season two and three, if done correctly, three,
Starting point is 00:35:29 if you've done correctly, will elevate two to watch back to back. But they've got to deliver on three. And if they do, they can close strong with four. There's so many different rumors of what they're going to do. I still think they should do Agon the Conqueror. I mean, I think that's a series. He absolutely should do. There's all that behind the scenes.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Egg on the Conqueror? No, not-A-G-on. Agon. Okay. But that's what they actually call this kid egg, the one in the series. Not that far off. Yeah. I think that we've been hearing a lot of behind the scenes controversy about what stories they're going with and the showrunner beefing with.
Starting point is 00:36:08 George, yeah. So clearly they had two completely different views on what they should be doing. True. George loves this series, this series, Knight. He's the most accurate out of everything. But not House of the Dragon. Right. So I'm curious, like, which direction George wanted versus which direction the showrunner wanted.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Yeah, well, we'll see. Anyway, put your thoughts in there, please. And if you're not already subscribed to the Clipsch channel, please do that. We're trying to get to 30,000 by the end of the year. And the only thing I really can say is please. Please, please. Please.
Starting point is 00:36:47 All right, let's get to some other stories. He said, please. I did say please, didn't I? Yeah, please, please. Yes, yes. you know, Roxie, I was going to ask you because I feel like you've talked about this person. There's a comedian that I see all the time now. He's in and he was in Tron, Ares.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I have no idea who this person is. What is his name? Oh, Hassan. Manage. Manage. Yeah, I love him so much. Why did it happened? I saw him on the, I was, I was, he made me angry.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Oh, what happened? I watched a Jeremy Lynn special on about, for the Knicks. Okay. And he was there talking about it. And I was watching it with my, my eight-year-old. And I'm like, okay, because I wanted to see this.
Starting point is 00:37:34 This is big, big time in Nick's history. You guys throwing out curses for no reason. No reason in the middle of it. And it's just like, you don't need to do that. It was, it was like the way he was cursing. I'm like, yeah, does he have a fake beard? No. They're a real beard.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Are you sure it was awesome, not? I think so Because Austin has a very like scruffy Not like a big beard Unless he's grown his beard out I don't know
Starting point is 00:38:04 It looked fake to me Um Throwing out curses You don't have to do that You get the dirty language Why? Yeah it was he It was him
Starting point is 00:38:12 I don't know Does he have a big beard? It looked fake to me Is he is he funny? So he had the show called Patriot Act Which is Like I remember you talking about it
Starting point is 00:38:24 in a way that like John Oliver is fine. I didn't find him funny in this special. He's a political comedian. He is a like a very hot topic comedian. So I wouldn't say that Hassan makes me like ha ha ha ha laugh. But he's clever. But he's clever. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:41 I mean, I respect that. He didn't give me enough to judge whether he was funny or not in this. It wasn't really the intent. If he was trying to be funny in this, it didn't work. But I don't think he was trying to be funny. So he's a very, very smart guy who happens to be cleverly funny a lot. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:00 I don't have enough game tape on him to say whether he is or he isn't. But just that I was watching. I had to like earmuff my kid like 20 times. Like you would say about any of the main like political, like even any of the pundits like John Stewart or John Oliver or Bill Maher or whoever, like would you be like are they really funny? Like yes. He's clever. Okay, that's different.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Yeah. Okay. I respect that. All right. So anyway, now we are going to move on over to some other things. We're just some other things to discuss. Let's get into this trailer that dropped. I mentioned it. I forget, Roxie, have you watched One Piece yet? No, no. I'm so curious of what you would feel about that. I feel like you would either love it or you're going to be like, I don't know, it wasn't for me, but I feel like you'd love it. I obviously didn't watch any of the animated version neither did you I'm assuming and so I kind of was like this probably won't be for me and now I do regret that I didn't watch but then I watched the avatar the last Airbender live action the other live action that Netflix did after
Starting point is 00:40:09 it being such a long running animation that was the farts though that series and it wasn't that good so I was like oh maybe this is different this is different because I watched I watched that that first trailer of this first season. And I remember watching it, getting some shit from some people, because I said, I was like, I don't know, maybe I'll watch this because my oldest likes anime. And if I watch it with her, I'll have something to watch, but this is not for me. I didn't watch a single thing, a single one with her. I watched them all myself.
Starting point is 00:40:37 And I loved it. I loved the tone of it. I loved everything about it. I loved how fun it was. And the trailer, the second trailer for, or sorry, second season trailer, just as good. And that came out today, everybody. So where is it? That's it. There we go. Beautiful.
Starting point is 00:40:54 So Netflix's one-piece season, two, full trailer hit today. I put my reaction up. People are asking where my Game of Thrones reaction is that will be up after today's show. So don't fret. We had a brief teaser in August and Ritworks themed teaser last month. Today, Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the season, second season of its live action one-piece series, which returns in one month. Set to come sail away.
Starting point is 00:41:20 The trailer offers a first look at Katie Siegel as Dr. Kirsha, Clive Russell, as Krokus, and more glimpses of McKillowover as the voice of Tony, Tony Chopper. The second season is set to adapt and compress multiple arcs from the anime, including Lojhtown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island into eight episodes. Returning, Straw Hat crew includes Monkey Deluffy, Zorro, Nami, yada, yada, yada, yada. Now, new in the second season are Joe Manganollo. This is a whole bunch of, second season arrives fully on March 10th.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Third season of the series has been production, already been in production, Cape Town for nearly three months. It expects it to arrive in 2027. That is smart. This is going to be a massive hit. This is going to be a massive hit. It already was for Netflix. When you say it already was, like,
Starting point is 00:42:10 based on the people who were talking about it or numbers or what? both. I think the fans, when you can, you got to understand how popular, how popular the enemy was for this thing. I definitely know that. Yeah. So the- That wasn't Netflix, right? That was- That was Netflix. I mean, well, what it would originally air? I don't know. I don't know if they still picked it up or whatnot. But either way, the, you got it. If the fan base is happy, right,
Starting point is 00:42:39 then you're doing something right. But you can't just win on the fan base, if you're doing a i mean look look at the if you watch this trailer the budget on this thing is is astronomical it's got to be so you think you should go back and watch it yeah 100% okay i would like to talk to originally aired i would like to oh no you're going to go back and watch the anime no no no no no no thousand episodes i just i just was curious all the sudden aired in japan on fuji television i would love this is this is one of those things where i would say if you if i could get you to do reactions I would do reactions of those with you. Yeah, they chose other people for reject because I thought I was going to be on that too,
Starting point is 00:43:18 because it just kind of feel up my alley, but I understand why I'm not also because I'm so not an anime girl. Sure. Watch it, the first season so we can talk about season two when it airs because I think. I'm back on my TV game. I watched like, don't tell us. Don't tell us. Don't tell us.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Don't spoil us. No, I'm not about to. I'm going to say I watched close to like 30 hours of television this week. Okay. I watched so much TV this week. Good. I'm looking forward to hearing your picks. Someone.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Soul Style jukebox skills. I'm switching to ha. I love ha ha ha, ha, by the way. I'm a fan of ha ha ha ha. That makes sense. LOL I hate. Always hated it. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:44:00 Do you like when people say lulls? No, because it's not true. Ha, ha, ha. I believe you. You can do a ha ha ha. You can go ha ha. And it's not like, LOL means you're laughing out loud. I don't believe you.
Starting point is 00:44:11 What about R-O-F-L? There's no way you're running. No, because you're not laugh. You're really laughing your ass off because I said that the Mandalorian trailer wasn't that great. You're laughing your ass off for it. No, you're not. Stop. You're not.
Starting point is 00:44:24 You're not, you idiot. R-O-T-F-L. Rolling on the floor laughing, right? You're not rolling on the floor. If so, take video of yourself rolling around like this and laughing. That's what I want to say. Every time you said rolling on the floor laughing, you were on the floor. You're actually doing it like this.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Like, you're actually rolling. like that would be that would be great but no one's really doing that that would be great that would be great you know who would be doing stuff like that if they said it me yeah that that's true me that's true i'm laughing at something hard you know right if you write r o fl whatever the dude it is when you when i told you i was like dude i've been crying about i don't even need a haircut i was every time i said that i was crying to myself roxy i'm so mad remember my video that someone asked like what's the video that made you laugh so hard? Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:14 That was deleted. The girl won. Whoever, who, yeah. The girl lifting the weight. Yeah. That whoever uploaded the girl lifting the weights. You didn't see. Whoever uploaded that deleted it and I can't find it.
Starting point is 00:45:26 I'm dying. Watch it on this show. Yeah. Okay. Go back to this show and clip it out. I got to go back and watch it too. I don't know what it is. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:45:36 You do know, Christian. He described it to you again when you came back and kept back. Oh, I don't remember. I don't do it. I don't do justice. You got to watch it. Yeah, I don't remember. All right. So we, uh, more than justice. But listen, will you watch the show? I don't know about by next week, but no, no, no, not by next week. March, March, like 13th or something.
Starting point is 00:45:57 Yeah, yeah. I'm going to watch it. Right. Is that what is that true? If you guys are going to talk like, March 10th. If the people want it, then the people got it, you know. I want it. Yeah. I want to talk to you about it. Yeah. I'm caught up on almost everything now. except for I didn't put a specific show on the list today because I'm not caught up on Fallout, but I did finally start watching Fallout. Oh, you did?
Starting point is 00:46:21 Yeah. Okay. Not Fallout Season 1. I'd already watch that, but season two. So what happened? Who'd you ban? Someone put LOLZ? There's a member on the channel and I put them in timeout.
Starting point is 00:46:31 It's not LLZ, it's Lolls. I know. I put them in timeout. You can come back later. I like to do that. Michael D, I've got your back. Lalls, laws, lalls. um anyway all right not michael poor guy all right listen just lolling we got some more uh to discuss
Starting point is 00:46:50 but are you guys excited for uh one piece season two put your thoughts in there i want to know let me know please please please please please please please please please please please please and please please please please please please please please please did you shit in there all right so now it's so much better that roka thinks he was talking to me it's is so good. Speaking of Roka, you guys have to get 87 today. You're 30 thus far, pretty good,
Starting point is 00:47:19 considering we haven't even gotten into the questions yet. We're going to do Roxy's TV picks in just a moment, but I haven't really, we talked about this a great length yesterday with myself and Roka. I haven't spoken to
Starting point is 00:47:33 Roxy and Mike about this. I feel, and I could be wrong, but I feel like Roxy's going to be on the other side of this. Oh, no. And I feel like Mike is going to be on the side of Maroka, but I could be wrong. Let's, let's read. The Mandalorian and Grogu, Lucasfilm, calls the Super Bowl parody advertisement,
Starting point is 00:47:53 the perfect next step out for our campaign. Okay. Lucasfilm's marketing head has weighed in on the decision to release a parody advertising featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu. During the Super Bowl as opposed to a new teaser for the movie. as expected. New TV spot for the Mandalorian Grogoot debuted online during last night's big game, but it's fair to say that the 30-second commercial left a lot of Star Wars fans, a disappointealed. Directed by John Favro, narrated by the legendary Sam Elliott, who initially I thought it was,
Starting point is 00:48:25 and then someone told me it was Jeff Bridges, and I went with that, but I knew it was Sam Elliott originally. I hear what happened. So annoying. I was like, that's Sam Elliott. I was like, that's Sam Elliott. Like, no, it's Jeff Bridges. And then I was like, then I took it to the air. And they're like, no, you idiot, Sam Elliott. That's sucked. the teaser didn't actually feature any footage from the movie and as they paid homage to the old school Budweiser Super Bowl advertisements but Tontas taking the place of the client's horses.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Sometimes we choose who I don't care. Though some took the spot for what it was and viewed it as a fun callback, many felt that the Disney Lucasfilm really should have used the opportunity to step up the marketing for the movie with a proper teaser, especially after what was deemed by a lot of fans as lackluster first trailer. Right, he asked Lucasville's marketing brand lead, Ryan Stankovich about the spot and the decision to release an advertisement
Starting point is 00:49:11 instead of some new footage. He says our creative marketing team landed on a unique concept that gave a nod to the classic Big Game Spot of years past. Capture the warmth, humor, and emotional connection between these two beloved characters. It's the perfect set for our campaign as we lead up to their big screen debut this summer. What's he going to say?
Starting point is 00:49:28 Grogo is more than a character. He's a pop culture phenomenon riding alongside the heroic mid-orraine. He brings lightness, humor, joy, and an instant emotional connection that transcends the moment. Big Game Spot celebrates how deeply we love and connect with these characters, reminds us the fun, heart, and spectacle that defines Star Wars and offers a bite-sized promise of the experience audiences will get when they see these two beloved icons. Take it easy. New trailer has been classified, so we shouldn't have to wait too much longer for another look at the next Star Wars movie.
Starting point is 00:49:57 All right. Who do we start with? Who do we start with? Am I right, Roxy? Yeah, you're obviously wrong. Yeah, I thought so. All right. So let's start with Mike, because we'll have the, we'll have the, I won't say contrarian, I'll say the opposite point of view, after Roxy. Because there's no way that you weren't on our side, right, Mike? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you thought it was brilliant.
Starting point is 00:50:18 No. First of all, you get Jeff Bridges, neary than that. Talks more like this. He does. He does. You're right. You're right. An old man.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Here we go. Mangelore and Grogo. It's good. Like, I get the Clydesdell of it all. If you are 2015 Star Wars Disney Ready to release Force
Starting point is 00:50:43 Awakens you do this And the fans go nuts No one is talking about this movie Like this you needed To knock this thing out of the park This was awful And the fact The fact that they had to come on
Starting point is 00:50:57 No studios come on and gone Like this is why we did that trailer Make sure you get our message No one has done that No one is a super rule That spends millions of dollars comes on the next day and goes, well, this is why we did it.
Starting point is 00:51:09 We think it was a great step. It was a turd, a fart in the wind. Like, when in Star Wars, have we ever seen taun tons being used as animals to pull things? Like, they don't. They used to be ridden.
Starting point is 00:51:25 It was like, stupid. It was, like, everyone in the room with me, we're all like, is that a trailer for the movie? What did we watch?
Starting point is 00:51:34 I thought there was a trailer online app. And the fact that Budweiser kicked ass with their commercial just goes to show you how bad this one was. This was like if there was a, yeah, like if there was a lead up like, hey, and now the trailer for Mandor-Lerlaring and Grogu, yeah, but that was the only thing? Get out of here with that nonsense. Rox. Yeah, I obviously really liked this. I think that this is, once again, I'm not telling you this is the right strategy. I'm telling you they've done a very effective job reaching out to the mees of the world.
Starting point is 00:52:10 I don't know that they're grabbing the use of the world. Clearly they've misstepped left, right, and center to get the real Star Wars fans. But for the casuals who love the Super Bowl, I was like, that rocked. That rocked. They're so cute together. I'm so excited for this movie. Way to play off knowing your audience here. These are football fans that you're trying to.
Starting point is 00:52:35 to remind, oh, there's this little Star Wars thing. It's kind of like this Budweiser commercial. But look, little Grogoo. I'm watching it sitting like, that's for me. I am miserable during the Super Bowl. I was begging for life. And for any moment to just be like, that was cute. That's so nice.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Yeah, like, again, I'm not saying my take's the right take. My take's definitely the wrong take. I know that I'm the of all of you guys, I am the least in touch with Star Wars. I'm such a casual fan. I've seen every live action thing, but I don't remember shit. Like, I watch it like you,
Starting point is 00:53:12 I would watch anything else. Like, I'd watch mean girls. Like, it's on and I watch it and it's done. But watching this, I was like, oh, man, I'm so stoked for this movie. See, here's, I understand your take. I do. I understand your take for the way that you approach it in general, right?
Starting point is 00:53:30 But if you're looking at business-wise, what Mike's saying, it was a bad business decision overall. Because the reason why, it's exactly what you said, Mike, I think that if this was 2015, or even in the 80s when they did Burger King commercials. They did Burger King commercials for Star Wars. And then you had a trailer and you had something else and people knew it was coming out. The problem is that nobody really knows what this movie is about.
Starting point is 00:53:52 Nobody really is excited about it. You're coming off. And if it was right after season two, then maybe you could have gotten away with this. But you're coming off a lackluster season that hasn't been on for a while. This is the first movie in seven years. it's it's an issue um and it's just and and people were on me yesterday it's like well it's i said it's a floy decision no it's a marketing decision favor decision it's everybody's decision the guy who's running creative now is going to say yeah you know what that he because he's also
Starting point is 00:54:21 a producer on the movie is also going to say that's a good way for us it incorporates into the super bowl he's a sports fan so he's like it's going to incorporate into the into the the super ball we won't need to show a trailer yet it'd be fine just get interest going and the kids will get excited. Marketing probably says the same thing. Favre probably says the thing. He's not making the decision all on his own, but he's certainly they're helping with Favro and Favro's helping with him and marketing. They all thought this was a good move. And I think that they think that this brand is in the same place, Mike, that it was 10 years ago. And it's not even remotely close. I'm also thinking, but, but Rok's to what you said, like, I look at the smartness of
Starting point is 00:54:56 gun and Super, Supergirl and Superman with the puppy bowl and crypto. You don't need to get, the dudes watching the Super Bowl into Superman. Like, you don't need to get the football guys into Star Wars. Like, enjoying the baby Grogo is not the thing to get your Alpha males that don't watch Star Wars into Star Wars. It's a Super Bowl. It's not a regular football
Starting point is 00:55:17 game. It's not just Alpha males watching the Super Bowl. Okay, Roxy. You know what I'm saying? No, because... Families. Yes, but you can get families with anything. You don't... Like, okay... But it's one of the...
Starting point is 00:55:31 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, hold on. second. I'm going to say this. I watch a Super Bowl with two hosts of Fox Sports ESPN, one of their biggest shows. I watch. You know and Rich. Yeah, Kavino and Rich. And all their people there. And they had all their kids. Everyone's watching the Super Bowl. The kids are running around playing everywhere in the house. They ain't sit and watching the Super Bowl. So kids to say, you're
Starting point is 00:55:52 putting Manuel and Grogo in the Super Bowl because kids are going to watch us. No. They're not kids are not turning into the Super Bowl. We did. I mean, maybe not. Because you grew up in a Patriots household. Like, that's like, am I? I think you're wrong.
Starting point is 00:56:06 I think that there's, there's a lot of kids. Okay. What, at what age are you talking about? The age of kids that go like, baby grogoo, I want a baby grogo mommy.
Starting point is 00:56:16 Okay. So maybe like seven, eight years old. I mean, look, I will tell you in the East Coast. What were your girls doing? What were your girls doing? She was watching with me.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Okay. What did she think? Did she recognize that commercial or no? She, they don't look stupid. There you go. But she doesn't, but she doesn't watch.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Yeah, that could totally be right. Like, I, Again, I can't justify my stance on this, except for telling you guys how I personally felt. All I am saying is that I agree with Mike that they don't need to go after the macho man. I don't think the Super Bowl ad was going after the macho. No, it certainly wasn't.
Starting point is 00:56:50 No, I get the nostalgia of it. I get that. And if this was 10 years ago when Star Wars was coming back, make it, you know, everyone was talking Force Awakens, that would have been the whole, look at that cute and little nod to the Clydesdales. Awesome. up they are in the crapper right now and need every bit firing on all cylinders and you got establish the tone too right we don't even know what's the tone in what's the tone of this movie comes out what in three months we don't know what it's about no and and that's that's the thing rocks
Starting point is 00:57:17 you said oh that looks cute I love them together but what's the tone of this movie is the tone like this or is the tone going to be like what we saw in the boba fed episode when he walked through the butcher and and if it is if it's that kind of tone we remember when he walked in at butcher shop and he's just taking people out. I'm like, where's that movie? Like that movie. Okay. So I'm pretty sure the answer to this is that you guys,
Starting point is 00:57:42 there's nothing in the world that this marketing could do that would make you guys see the movie, right? You're going to see the movie no matter what, right? Of course. Right. Yes. So who are the people that you guys think are on the fence right now? People that, A, don't even know another Star Wars movie is coming out.
Starting point is 00:57:57 And B, people who don't necessarily even watch Mandalorian and Grogo. Or Mandalayas. See, that's a good question because I think the problem is, I think people will watch this movie, but I don't think they're going to watch it in theaters. Right. I don't think they're going to watch it in theaters. I think you're going to wait. They're paying $200 a year for Disney Plus. Let's do a bet, Mike.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Let's do a bet for all three of us. Or not our prediction rather than a bet. Prediction. How much does this movie make worldwide? Oh, God. What's the budget of it? 160. It's one of the cheapest Star Wars movies.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Do you know what comes out around it? What? Yeah. It's early May. I'll tell you right now. I've got my gut instinct. Yeah. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:58:44 And I know what I want to say. All right. So let's say right now. And people can hold us to this. So what this movie is going to make. Notorously, Mike and I stock at this. Terrible. I'm terrible.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Box you're better than me. Let me tell you right now what's coming out. All right. May 1st, Devil Wears Prada 2. Which is huge. Yes. May 8th, Mortal Kombat 2. May 15th, nothing really of note. May 22nd is the Mandalorian Grogue.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Nothing the following week, really. I mean, there's some... Late May. So Devil's Prada will have been in theater for three weeks by them? Yeah, but it's also a very different audience. And they get... So they have the Memorial Day weekend. Yes, they have two weeks before, but June 5th is their first big.
Starting point is 00:59:33 competition with Masters of the Universe. Okay. I think that it's going to, I think they'll be happy and it might hit 500. I mean, if it hits 500, they'll be happy. I mean, they'll be happy. It's crazy that a Star Wars movie would be happy with 500 million, but I think that's a safe. I think that is a safe bet. And I think that's a safe bet.
Starting point is 00:59:55 What do you think, Mike? My top ceiling, I say it's going to hit like 615. Wow. I think 525. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was like $4.75. I think that you're both. Absolutely. No.
Starting point is 01:00:12 I think you're, I think you're going to have better picks than me. I'm going to say, and I think mine is too high. I'm going to say $5.60 is what I'm going to say from mine. If it makes $4.40, it wouldn't be surprised. But I'm going to say $5.60. I think that if you think this, I will tell you this, anybody who does this in, YouTube. If you think this movie is going to make a billion, you need to take a nap for a long time and then come back. Do you think there's any world in which it hits 700?
Starting point is 01:00:43 There's a world. That means that it's got to be really awesome. And that's like, if word of mouth, if word of mouth is awesome, like, oh shit, it's got to be awesome. It's got to be awesome. It's got to be like, holy shit. You got, wow, that movie really that it's got the way that we felt during that Luke Skywalker moment, not necessarily you have nostalgia, we're just saying the way you felt when that Luke Skywalker moment happened. The way you felt during the butcher scene, like, if it's that kind of a cool movie, the bounty hunters is kicking ass and cool shit going on. And you're like, whoa, that felt.
Starting point is 01:01:11 I mean, it's John Favro, you know, so like, it's possible. On the other hand, if you've got the Leia Chase scene from Obi-Wan, you're going to be, yeah. Do you think it's possible that this makes 300? If it makes 300, that's problems. That's what I'm asking. I have a feeling. I have a feeling this is going to be like Thunderbolts where it's actually good
Starting point is 01:01:34 but just audiences just don't want to go to it. Like Thunderbolts was great. It is Star Wars though. I think they made like under 400 million Thunderbolts. Don't count out. I know, I know. Don't count out the kids though.
Starting point is 01:01:46 I think that's what the marketing did would Roxy I think has proven, right? Yeah. In that cuteness factor with, oh, I think that does work towards kids. Whether it was Super Bowl or not, they're going to market heavily. on Grogu.
Starting point is 01:02:01 And the merchandise on Grogu, they didn't even know what they had with Grogu after season one. They had to go into like super production to get all that shit out. And so he's going to sell, he's going to get a lot of asses and seats. And he's going to get a lot of kids' asses and seats. So we're going to be, you know, don't count him out. So I think it is highly unlikely that it doesn't make 300 million.
Starting point is 01:02:25 I think it's got it. It's got it. I mean, internationally alone, international alone. So I think three, definitely makes 300. And I mean, that's,
Starting point is 01:02:34 that's really all it needs to make to get, you know, it's, it's money back is 300. That's, that's the, that's the benefit, maybe like 325 or something.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Yeah, but the other thing that's interesting is like the other studio, like Marvel, DC, all of that, they don't need to make as much of a profit on, on their movies because there's so many of them,
Starting point is 01:02:56 that the studio is still making more money. Like when you only have one, Star Wars movie every several years for it to just break even or make like a few million bucks is not enough. It really needs to pull in a lot more money because to make the franchise worth it if you're going to be having so few movies. Well, yeah, but remember, they're going to start doing more now with the... Totally. I think that they're not going to be stoked unless this goes, if this hits $450 or above, I think they'll be happy. Oh, yeah, because that's, look, and this is what I've said many times over, and we'll reiterate this, because I just saw Super Chat comes in,
Starting point is 01:03:30 that I think that you're going to see a lot of similar comments to this in general. But I've said this million times over. I'll say it again, the intent of this movie is not to make a billion dollars, even though that's usually what Star Wars is all about, right? And that's what Starfighter will be about. But the intent of this is Bob Eiger said, why are we spending $160 million on season four when we could make a two-hour movie? and get that $160 back.
Starting point is 01:04:00 And all you need to do is get that back. And to them, it's a business decision. It deludes the brand a little bit. I agree with that. But it doesn't kill the brand. What you're saying, that to me, I think is the crux of it. Because when Mando came out, was it 2019? Was it resident?
Starting point is 01:04:19 Yeah. 2019. Like we were all just blown away by this thing. You're like, what is? This is incredible. This is what Star Wars should be. And now here we are. I'm so much more
Starting point is 01:04:27 so much more excited for Starfighter that I am for this. I don't know anything about Starfighter. I don't know anything about it, but the fact that it's Star Wars on the big screen, meant for the big screen. I think it's such a mistake to turn this into a Clone Wars episode is what they're doing with.
Starting point is 01:04:41 But watching those, anything I've ever seen, anything I've ever seen is like, oh, that's all the volume. They're on the volume. This movie is essentially going to be like another. The Mando one, not the Starfighter one. No, no. Mandolin and Grover was going to be like an episode of Clone Wars.
Starting point is 01:04:55 It's like you got like, road of the hut and you got all these characters from the Clone Wars and you got all this shit that's going on as to like, it's what I mean. I know that you were just insulting it, but I don't even know enough to know that that was an insult. I needed you to break down like that was a good or a bad thing. I think for you, for you
Starting point is 01:05:10 it won't. Okay, come in a good story. What do I care? Right? But I think that it's going to play cartoonish. I mean, this movie and not because I'm a shill, but just because of where I'm coming in from, this movie would have to suck for me to not like it. Like the movie will have have to be very bad for me to not like it.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Because there's never been an episode of Mandalorian and Grogo of the Mandalorian that I didn't like. Roxy, did you like Rise of Skywalker? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Just like watching Star Wars. And I think that's that's a massive amount of the audience. Right. Totally. But people are like, but what about this, this and this? I'm like, yeah, that makes sense why rocks. You're not locked in and invested like everybody else. You just
Starting point is 01:05:55 you're watching a movie. But I think that's what Disney needs as understanding is like the Roxas of the world. How do we get them back into theaters? What? I saw that. Al-Roxy. I don't get a loss for like, right? I get it.
Starting point is 01:06:12 I get that if you're a diehard fan of something, it's annoying when you love something so much to talk to somebody who just kind of is like sprinkles and charities about it. Like, I just like Star Wars and I like cool shit. I like I think. I like the um i like the obiwan series i like like like the i i dig star wars well let me ask you a question roxy
Starting point is 01:06:33 are you going so let's say that you don't get a screening for mandolin i'm gonna go i'm gonna go you're gonna see you still buy a ticket yeah i would still go definitely because um because like fun to see a big screen okay yeah i and i think that's what they're hoping for yeah i think they're hoping to see like you we haven't seen a star wars movie on the screen since and but that's overall point though that's the point is that there hasn't been a movie since 2019 and you want to get people going like if they would have showed
Starting point is 01:07:02 a scene similar to what you saw with the mandoloreen in that butcher shop that would have gotten people oh shit he's he's kicking ass again he's back to where he is but instead he's got Sam Elliott talking about conda out of it's like get out of here
Starting point is 01:07:18 the last time I saw Rise of Skywalker was when I saw it in theaters that was the last time you saw the movie. That's awesome I saw it once. I liked it when I saw it. That's, but like if you said to me what happens in that movie, I don't know. Nobody's going to agree with me on this. I would rather watch that movie
Starting point is 01:07:37 a thousand times in a row than to have to watch the Last Jedi again. And I'm going to have to watch both of them with Sam. I like that movie too. A lot of people did. Way more people like that movie. But I think I think Lucas film and Disney would want
Starting point is 01:07:53 like, Roxy, there are more people in the world like you movie goer wise than there are the diehard Star Wars fans that people just want to go and have a good time at the movies and see a good movie so it's such a it's like
Starting point is 01:08:08 I don't I mean I don't know I don't understand how you got to appease the fans they're hardcores I want to get a clip Luke can we clip out Luke can we clip out Rayhu who we got to clip that out I like better than I Rayhu
Starting point is 01:08:23 you liked that one I like Roxie's anti-god liberal hack No, because I usually bring that up all the time, the Rehu. Bring it up all the time. Ray, who? Get out of here. What are you doing in front of my house? Get out of your old.
Starting point is 01:08:36 What are you doing, the lady? In the middle of the desert. You're the fucking desert. How'd you get out here? Ray, ho. I don't even remember what you guys are referencing. At the very end of the movie, there's a very end of the horrible moment of like when they need to show that she took the name of Skywalker.
Starting point is 01:08:50 She walks up to the thing she's sitting there. And she's in front of Luke's hut, which is in the middle of, or this place with, in the middle of nowhere in tant and tattooing nowhere and just to get this out she's like who are you she's like some lady it's like i'm telling you so it's like it's like it's like the old lady on the porch in queens who's like who's who's driving at 830 at night turn your lights off i'm trying to sleep it's like it's it's the worst um way who ray skywalker and then she is pointless old lady i want to have her I want to have that woman. Hopefully she's still with us.
Starting point is 01:09:27 I'd like to bring her on just to do. And I'd be like, and now bring it on Mike Kalanowski. Mike Ho. Roxy Stry. Roxy Ho. Christian Ho. What I want.
Starting point is 01:09:38 Penny who. Penny who. Who's a farmer who? Who? Cindy Lou Who? Cindy Lou Who? See, I can say it. Listen to me.
Starting point is 01:09:47 What do you guys think about all of this? Mandalorian, Grogu. excited with the marketing and Roxy's point of view here you're on myself, Mike's. Put your thoughts in there. Let us know.
Starting point is 01:10:01 I got one last thought, Harle. Go ahead, Bill. Go ahead. Bill me up there. Throw me out real quick. Yeah. Perfect example of both of two franchises in need of a win.
Starting point is 01:10:11 The MCU and Disney, Lucas Star Wars. What did what the MCU did with those four teasers, even though they didn't do a Super Bowl, which was surprising for either film, those four things worked.
Starting point is 01:10:24 They did what they needed to do to start building the hype back up. Okay. So they had that plan for, and they didn't spend money at the Super Bowl. So I'm just, you know, just interesting, interesting. But both from a Disney marketing team.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Right. Both, it's Disney's money and Disney marketing. So I'm very curious. All right. Let's move on. It's time for Roxy's TV picks. So. I don't actually know how trailers work.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Oh. Does, because I'm, I am kind of curious about this. When they were putting the trailers ahead of Avatar, because Avatar is a Disney property, did they not have to pay to put their trailers there or a trailer money goes towards the movie theaters? No, it's good. I don't know. I really don't know the answer to that question.
Starting point is 01:11:05 But I think that's one of the reasons, like, when on ABC, where they would choose, when certain things on ABC, you would have the Star Wars trailer and other things too because you don't have to pay, you don't have to pay on Disney. But that's the other point we didn't make on that. Roxy, like, they spent $8 million to make that little cute fart. commercial. And regardless, let's, let's say, that's how much it cost to air it. Right. Right. Right. To air it. So let's, so let's say, so let's say that, you know, you would agree that not everyone loved that spot, right? Of I think the vast majority of people. Right. So the goal,
Starting point is 01:11:43 so you would then agree that the goal of it was that when you're putting stuff out is that your fan base is going. You want you want to go for more would you would you think it's fair to say that it's probably 25 75 75. 25 liked 75 didn't would you say that's a fair assessment? Yeah, I think so. Don't you think the goal should be the opposite? Yeah, of course. You didn't ask me do I think it was a smart move. You asked me if I like it. Do you think it was a smart? Okay. That's fair. No. We're all those same thing. They should not be catering towards me. Yeah. Oh, me and I couldn't I couldn't do it like this see someone did something very smart someone did something very smart in the chat what I normally sometimes when people say things I don't I don't want to hear
Starting point is 01:12:30 I don't like it's my story I don't always throw I don't throw them out but I'll put them in time out someone put a super chat yeah and I can't do it you son of a bitch now but but now you also don't know me and we'll get into Arthur he doesn't know me well enough because the same thing I told Sam, when you tell me to not do something, you guys know me well, when you tell me you don't want me to do something, don't do this, don't do that. Big balls is too much. Don't do. It's going to happen more. Watch pluribus. Watch pluribus. I'm not watching pluribus because they told me not to. I watched episode one, big face. You weren't going to. Yeah, but I did. Baby. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. God.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Roxy and me and you were doing that interview, by the way, not like. your viewership's going to plummet. Just watch. With her on it. You've got to give you what they want with me. I don't think anyone's even going to care if I ask any questions. I could just sit here. If Roxy's talking to Penny Barber, I think it'll be the most viewed episode we ever have.
Starting point is 01:13:29 Hi, Penny. Right. I doubt it. I don't. You know it's true. Okay. Let's get some TV stuff. Because it's time to do just that.
Starting point is 01:13:40 All right. Roxy. Stryor, let's do it. Let's bring up Roxy's shot. That's me. We haven't had some TV in quite a bit, so let's get your insight. Okay, we talked a lot about Night of the Seven Kingdoms today, but just think that the show is excellent, great Game of Thrones spin-off, for those of you don't know. Loving the smaller story and excited for the penultimate next week and the finale after that. Okay. Let's see, we covered it. Quite you guys want to see. rest of our conversation.
Starting point is 01:14:13 You can watch it on the Clips channel. Okay. The pit. Man, oh man, are they nailing season two on the pit? Nice. I love this show. It deserved all of the awards that it got. Sometimes that makes for a really bad sophomore season, though, because they think
Starting point is 01:14:29 their shit doesn't stank. Fortunately, here, they just kind of doubled down on what they were doing. And I am still curious because we know that they're There's going to be some kind of a cyber attack, I think, that they announced, but we don't know exactly what that looks like for the hospital. And, yeah, I love their relationships. I love their friendships. I think that they do a great job.
Starting point is 01:14:56 I heard on my friend Jess Lucero's show this week. One of the actresses went on and said that this is a no side set, which means that they are not allowed to, they don't have their little half sides printed going on to set. They all have to come, like, 100% prepared. It seems like it's a very difficult set to be on, but it's resulting in a really amazing show. So kudos to the pit.
Starting point is 01:15:17 I think this is must watch TV and the Emmys and all the other words proved that. Okay. Next one after that. This one I've been seeing advertised quite often. Yeah, you guys told me to watch this. And so I have been watching this, although I'm not done with it yet. It's six episodes on Netflix.
Starting point is 01:15:32 It's called His and Hers. It is a murder mystery show. and it is very enticing. Like you're watching this. The only reason I haven't finished it is because I'm watching this with my man and he's slower than I am. But this is like one of the only shows I could even get him to watch it
Starting point is 01:15:52 the second episode for because kind of similar to Sadie, like he'll bail quickly on some show if he's not into it. This is like you finish episode one and you're like, oh my God. What's next? What is next? What's going on? So I've heard they stick the landing. I'm excited to go and find out.
Starting point is 01:16:06 But it's definitely. whatever TV's version of a page Turner is, this is that. Did you start watching, what was it, Steele? Did you start watching? Do you talk about that already? No, what's Steele? Steele's the one with Sophie Turner. Oh, no, mm-mm.
Starting point is 01:16:20 We started watching that the other day. It's pretty good so far. Yeah, I have to finish it, but I like that. Sorry, all right, next one. Bridgeton dropped its first four episodes of this season, and I'm kind of interested. I didn't know that I didn't watch any of the marketing, so I don't know if they announced this,
Starting point is 01:16:35 but they're straight up doing Cinderella this story. the woman that you see here, she is essentially like the step sister of these other girls. And she is forced to clean the house and shine their shoes and all that stuff. And I'm like, oh, wow, I did not know that we were doing Cinderella on Bridgeton. This show is sexy. It's fun. It doesn't take itself that seriously. I love the violin aspect.
Starting point is 01:17:02 And it's doing that thing where it's dropping four episodes every couple of weeks. So it gives you a lot of time and space to catch up on it. There's only four right now if you want to pick it up. If you haven't seen any of the other seasons, I still think you'll be fine watching this. There's other characters that you might not know their side stories, but they do a new love story every season. So I'm jumping.
Starting point is 01:17:25 I am watching interview with the vampire for the real rejects. And so I figured I would talk about it a little bit on here because I had heard about the show for a really long time. And they're going to be coming out with the season three. later on this year. And so I started this especially after you guys had been loving heated rivalry so much. And you guys recommended that because I love vampires and because I love queer media. Interview with the vampire kind of perfectly combines those things.
Starting point is 01:17:53 The show is super sexy. It's very intense. It's really well done. AMC Plus has like a great grip on their supernatural dramas. and this is so much better than the movie, it's hard to even express. Like, I just think it's such a better, so, so good, such a better vampire story.
Starting point is 01:18:18 And if you're into kind of like, I was asking Christian earlier about that toxic love, forbidden love, it's definitely covers that. It's really good. Last one. Man, oh man, I would say that this is the best show on TV, shrinking.
Starting point is 01:18:35 I this show is amazing bringing in Michael J. Fox this season. Oh, wow. Really? Yep. So bringing Michael J. Fox's season has been, you know, very emotional. Harrison Ford's character has Parkinson's on the show. Right, right. So they, we knew that they were bringing Michael J. Fox. I think that the way they've incorporated him was very smart. I'm curious to see how much more they end up incorporating him or at what parts. But this show has an all-star cast. it is so so heartwarming and also asks us to face very difficult tackle very difficult things about ourselves in life it's also very funny so i definitely if you are watching one show on tv right now that kind of can be a drama
Starting point is 01:19:23 comedy all of the things it should be shrinking the show is a a plus a plus a plus apple tv i need to uh i need to finish season two um so good i'm i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna one of those things i just binge all the way through. You believe that Michael J. Fox and Harrison Ford are doing, are working together for the first time. I know, it's nuts. It's just wild. It's good, though.
Starting point is 01:19:43 Okay, well, there you go. Make sure you check out, make sure you check out Roxy's picks and, uh, this is a very good. I've been off for a couple weeks guys. Those are like, this is a stacked stack on this. Well, it's also a stack, stack, a bunch of questions right now, Rocks. You got 49. You talked about real quick, Roxie mentioned your TV picks there.
Starting point is 01:20:03 One of your shows was a picture. Page Turner. I thought we were talking about another adult actress, Paige Turner. Oh, there you go. Perfect. Is that her name? Turner, like Turner, but not Turner. Yeah, Paige Turner. I like that. I like that. It's clever. I am in with it. In the know. You know what? We need to send me to the AVN next year, Harlow. Can you imagine me being followed around by a camera? Listen, we have Roxy. Yes, I actually, I kind of love the idea. But listen, 40 minutes we have. I think she thinks anybody's overrated, like she watches and she's like, why do people like? I just am so curious.
Starting point is 01:20:38 What does she did? Maybe she think page Turner sucks. Well, she does suck. Michael D. 81. Support for Mike and Roxy. What are your guys thoughts on the little trailer through Project Hail Mary? Have any of you read the book? I haven't read the book.
Starting point is 01:20:54 Excited for the movie. Haven't read the book. I will say this. The first trailer I was in and then I saw like this. I think it was either at the end of the first or the second where they spoiled kind of the alien in it. But I read this thing where the director and even the author's like, you had to show the,
Starting point is 01:21:11 you couldn't not do that because of what happens in the movie. I am all in on this movie. Lord and Miller, Martin Weir, their author, and Brian Gosling with this alien. I think this movie, this movie, what? Are you looking at that avatar, by the way? That's you in a space suit, I think.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Oh, Jesus Christ. The fuck is that? Anyway, I think this movie's, this movie's going to easily $5,600 million. I think this is going to be like one of the surprise hits of the summer. So you think that this movie is going to do better than Mandalorian and Grogo? I do. 100%. It's possible.
Starting point is 01:21:51 Because it just looks fun. Yeah, it does look good. Everybody looks like that avatar, even better. Jesus Christ, come out. One piece season two looks awesome. What new characters are you excited to? meet. See, that's the thing is I don't know. Like, I don't know the Lord. You don't know what you don't know. No, I don't know. But I like that about it. And I want it. I just want to, I'll tell you after I watch who I enjoy the most. You guys know of Universal Studios. You heard of what's called fan fest, what they do. It's this thing they do now. The last spring they're doing it this spring. It's like four weekends. They're trying to kind of do like a Halloween horror nights, but in spring adding things. The one piece thing, they had last year killed. They're bringing it back this year. It's at nighttime, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:33 It's like from six to two. But one piece out of everything they do last year and now with the they're going to have this year, crushed. Yeah. And just last year, last year was just a meeting group with some characters. Yeah. This year, I can't say what it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:46 When is it? It's every weekend in April, I believe. I want to go. Yeah. It's a, it's a really cool thing. Really cool. Uh, all right. Nathan Drake, does Mike have a favorite bad bunny song?
Starting point is 01:23:00 Let me tell you this. I know his music when the song started coming on. I was like, oh, that one, that one. I didn't understand a word he said. I loved every minute of that show. You got Latin women throwing ass like that. Do you dance around the living room? You were John Howard.
Starting point is 01:23:16 You got that right? What's that from? I think that's from that. You're friends and neighbors. Oh, okay. Armada 8. YT. Does Mike and Roxy know Sean Moroni?
Starting point is 01:23:29 They should, but they don't. I don't. It sounds familiar to me. Yeah. It does familiar because you've watched, you've watched this show before. Show Moroni. It's Ellis's character in grasping his drug.
Starting point is 01:23:47 Oh. Armada. Where's my barber? Fire my last one. Can't stop watching that clip. No. It's pretty good. I got to get him to actually talk.
Starting point is 01:23:58 I got to get Mance on here and actually talk about Penny Barber. Hey, Mr. C.J. sorry Rock's better luck next year. They made it. They made it. Yeah, I'm really proud of my boys. It was a brutal.
Starting point is 01:24:09 I mean, like we got our asses. So I'm not a Super Bowl. I'm not a football guy at all. And I was sitting there watching the game. Now, Rocks, you can answer this. That had to have been one of the most boring games of all time, right? Like, it was awful. It was boring.
Starting point is 01:24:25 It was all defense. Yeah. Yeah. Really, really boring. It didn't end up actually being as low scoring as other Super Bowls have been. But it was so, it was such a boring. Defense, all defense, look, defense is going to win you games, but it's also not incredibly exciting to watch.
Starting point is 01:24:39 Yeah, it was super duper boring and depressing game. Sean McCabe, Sir Duncan makes me want to be a better person. He's the best. Yeah, he's the best. Nathan Drake, if Dungeons and Dragons had a really good movie, it's still bombed, do you think He Man has a chance? Also, Dungeon Dragons arguably a bigger property than Masters. So the answer.
Starting point is 01:24:58 I'm not during pandemic time, though. In general, like, I love that movie. I love that movie. I think that movie theaters were not, like, people were still scared. Yeah. I think Roxy's not wrong. I think that had something to do with it. I also don't think the marketing was as strong as He-Man's marketing.
Starting point is 01:25:18 And I think Amazon's putting a lot into the marketing. So marketing is a lot to do with it. It was 2023. I'll say this. Yeah. They're still coming out. I'll say this, though. You talk about what D.D.'s bigger.
Starting point is 01:25:28 If you ask my mom. what's he man what's dungeons and dragons she knows he man she doesn't know dungeons and dragons again my parents are not the audience for no but right me growing it up right that's what they're a hundred percent but a hundred percent man and i think dungeons and dragons i don't know if the community embraced it the same way but dungeons and dragons is also so vast and it's so about creating your own character whereas he man is he man i know um i think and i think amazon's marketing's better if that that that movie and and and and and Travis Knight recently said that.
Starting point is 01:26:01 He's like, there is an inherent campiness to he, man. And we're not shying away from that. Dude, I think they need to hit, not over the top with it, but a wink nudge to the audience. We'll see. We know what we got. We'll see. Mike Joyce.
Starting point is 01:26:15 The best performance from New England Sunday was the Duncan ad. It was a great ad. That was great. That was great. I thought that the, I thought it was nice to see everybody. I didn't think the writing was particularly that strong. Samuel Cote.
Starting point is 01:26:28 The trailer still. still 11 million it didn't move the needle that's I mean it's even is it even a trailer you know it's just like a commercial yeah uh B-town love everyone on the show each week
Starting point is 01:26:40 man Mike you always have me dying laughing you have a channel or you thought about doing a podcast on the side there you go I give it all for Harloff this man has been my my guy there for so long I love I don't think you guys don't want me having my own channel
Starting point is 01:26:55 I think you get in trouble I think you get in trouble. You get in trouble. If you didn't have somebody to rain you in, you'd be in. I'll say this. If there becomes a time, like, I love my apartment. I absolutely love where I live, so I don't want to move. Shannon does because she wants a bigger place.
Starting point is 01:27:11 If we ever get a bigger place, the second bedroom and I can have a studio, I would absolutely do rocks what you do. Like, once a day, 20 minutes pop on. I can't tell you how nervous that makes me. I know. Armada, 8.YT. RIP. Rip, RIP.
Starting point is 01:27:28 RIP. Rip Torn in Dodgeball movie was crazy. He was great in that movie. You go dodge a dodge of that. What made him just think of that? Were we talking about Rip Torn at any point? Maybe. Johnny Patrice.
Starting point is 01:27:39 Hey, buddy. If you like Rip Torn, go back and watch the Larry Sanders show. Oh, he's great. Oh, my God. This picture is amazing. Look at this avatar. What is this one? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:27:49 It's like you laughing from the side. Jesus. It seems that Mike knows all the ins and outs of Penny. I think that's true. He knows the ins and outs. Lefts and rights, ups and downs and downs. ups and downs. It's like a penny arcade in here.
Starting point is 01:28:01 Armada 8. Do you think they serve... Rolling out of the floor, rolling on the floor. You got to text it. You got to text it. Do you think they serve mozzarella sticks in catering? It's possible. It's possible.
Starting point is 01:28:21 No, I don't think so. No, you don't think so. We should ask, we should ask what's on catering for sure. Foxy, what's your favorite thing? If they got on craft service, you're like, yeah. Oof, it totally depends on. Now, that's not like the hay we were, we were preparing these fresh hot little hors d'urbs. Like just the standard crafty that it's not lunchtime.
Starting point is 01:28:42 It's not, they're not bringing around the snack tray. Okay, okay, because I really do. I like when they do like a rice and a meat and a veggie, but when you're just talking about that, I'm excited when there's fresh fruit. Like I love apples. I love there's bananas. Yeah. They got Diet Coke.
Starting point is 01:28:57 and like some sour patch kids. I'm like done. Yeah, I can't do that during the day because I crash. Oh. All right. Next one. Oh, wait. I missed that one.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Mike. What you got? Armada, A. Y, team. Your best Muppet impression other than Kermit. I can't,
Starting point is 01:29:13 I don't, I don't like the Muppets, man. I'm like, yeah, you know, the Muppet guy. Kermin,
Starting point is 01:29:17 I know because of those TikToks where he was bringing his dong out. I love the Muppet. Oh, that, that's, that's, those, those, do you like those?
Starting point is 01:29:25 They're hilarious. helicopter helicopter it's it's how you know what it is i like when he's subtle when he's oh it's like oh yeah and they're so terrified they're so horrified have you ever seen him have ever seen him rocks no it's like this guy's got kermin he does the impression but he's it's it's on like omigal or something omigal amigal and he like he brings up the green cucumber he's like what do you think and the girls they're so terrified because it's kermit He's got like a whipped cream thing. He's like,
Starting point is 01:29:56 it's absolutely hilarious. I think this is one of those. You got to see it. You got to see it. Michael D. Gotta have Roxy in the chat with Penny. The polls have spoken. What is the poll?
Starting point is 01:30:06 I'm sure it is. Let me find out what is. I'm not going to say no. No, I know. Dingus McNally. Harleff, what if this Penny Barber interview takes off for you? Would you interview other stars? Winston and Sarah J.
Starting point is 01:30:16 Roxy and Johnny Sins? Not Roxy. Roca. Roca. Jonna. No, no. What is Roca. What is Roca and Johnny Sins?
Starting point is 01:30:23 Where's Roque is trying to get into the Penny Barber interview. I'm bringing the adult entertainment to this channel. It's so crazy how few people I know. Like if you said to me like name any porn stars that you can, yeah, I could have done some of the old school ones. But like the last porn star I remember is like Sasha Gray. Oh. Because she was on Ocarriage.
Starting point is 01:30:47 And that's why I was like, oh, who is that? And look drop. You got to stay in the now. You got to know what's going on. Anybody. Mike will be able to educate you in five minutes. Sarah Arabic. You got to watch Sarah Arabic.
Starting point is 01:30:58 She's a new... Mike rattled off so many people that I couldn't even believe. Mike, you should be in the business. That's right. Penny to get in the business. All right. So I don't know. The answer is probably not.
Starting point is 01:31:11 But who knows? All right. J.C. 33. Could Roxy and Mike do the interview from one computer? That way you can keep it a three screen setup. I don't think that's better because... Think about how. It doesn't really matter because, you're still going to have two people on the screen.
Starting point is 01:31:26 It's just four people that I have to do. So, but I understand. I like the outside the box thinking. Nathan Drake, should team box office break down being the Schmodeown Hall of Fame? I mean, for what they did in the, you know. That's JP and Tom. And Tom. I don't think, I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:31:41 I think they both would be in the Hall of Fame, but I don't think as a team. No. We did the Hall of Fame, first ballot Hall of Fame last year, yesterday. Michelle. You did? Yeah, we did. Who made it? So don't get upset, Mike. You made the second, you made the second wave. How many people made the first wave? Five. Okay, let me see if I can name them. Well, what happened, Roxy just broke up. That never happens with Roxy. What? What? Is that my internet, guys? Because Mike and Roxy just froze. I'm not, I don't think I'm frozen. What way are we talking about here? Mike, can you hear me or no?
Starting point is 01:32:19 I hear you fine, Roxy. Okay. I can, I can. here you find too. So I'm just going to say who I think the first wave Hall of Fame for Shmodeau. I need the audience to tell me if first wave hall of fame for Shmodeau. I got I'm I'm I'm going to sign out and come right back in. First wave hall of fame for Shmodeon. Hold on. Roxy. How do this question start? What happened? Okay. So he just said don't get offended Mike, but you didn't make the first way of Hall of Fame because the question is coming from Nathan Drake should box office breakdown be in the Schmodown Hall of Fame. And then Christian just said there's five people who made the first wave.
Starting point is 01:32:54 So I was going to guess who they were. And then Cresby. Well, I wasn't around in the first wave. No, no, not the first wave. So a first wave of hall of fame means you're the first people to get into the hall of it. Like the first year you're eligible, you're into the hall of fame. So Christian, can you hear me now?
Starting point is 01:33:09 Yeah, it's something going on. I guess it's my internet because you guys, apparently to the audience, you guys are fine. Okay. So I'm going to guess. First wave. Yep. Okay. So Roka.
Starting point is 01:33:18 Yeah. Dan. Yes. Sam? No. Wow. I think that's fucked. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:27 See, I don't know whether you're going to... I can't hear. I'm gonna... He might, it might be Rachel. No, she's in second wave with Mike. So is there a woman in it? Yes. Is it Mara?
Starting point is 01:33:39 Clark. Oh, you put Clark in over Rachel, huh? Yeah. You guys are not, now you guys are working. I don't know. What Clark Wolf did, you guys, to remember Clark Wolfe was the first like female superstar in the schmodeown she made it she was the first woman to go underfeited I know I get it I get a title shot against Dan no shade on Clark I think
Starting point is 01:34:06 she's amazing Rachel was this she she also brought wait who's the fifth person that I'm missing uh well that's three right that's three so four and five was um so I had Roka Dan Clark okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay Um, hmm. Are you putting, I would put Alex in there because what do you do for servers? No, he's, he's a, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, but not, but not, but not first. Okay. I'm not first, not first waver. I would even, I would, I would, I wouldn't be mad at that. You'd be in the, you'd be in the second, you'd be in the second way. Do you put Smith?
Starting point is 01:34:46 Second, second or third wave for him. Hmm. When I say it, you'll go, yeah. Hold on, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Snyder? I put a team in there. Oh, you put the Patriots. Oh, Patriots.
Starting point is 01:35:02 Yeah. It's not nice that I didn't guess Snyder, but you never name him as an individual. No, I would put, so the team. I would have no argument against that. That's it. That's five. Oh, so the team. I would agree 100% with that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:19 That's that's for the first way. That's not, but you know, all right, let's see. Going down the line here. Sorry, and I need to stop interrupting you because we got a, we got a barrel. We got a barrel. And it was also, and like my internet, I don't know what my internet was doing there. It was really weird. Okay.
Starting point is 01:35:35 I'm going back, going back, going back. Okay, I got him. I got it. JC 33. Roxy, did you watch Free Bert? I did not. I heard it wasn't good. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:35:46 Wasn't it? I haven't seen it. That's the Bert Krecher show. Yeah, I haven't seen it. It's Raf's Christian. Are you in your show? Hope so. Yeah, I'm, I'm, it's myself and Martini Peritori, who I posted, um, on my story. I posted her, uh, her real. Did you watch it, Rox? Her thing? Okay. I posted. I wanted everybody go and follow her. Um, and so we're the two leads and we're building around it. So, um, but I did post it. Like who? I have you on the top of the list for one of the rules. Um, did you, but Roxy, you, but, you, but, I was going to post, and I always, I didn't get Roxy's approval on today's post. No, I was dead, but you liked it? Yeah, loved. Okay.
Starting point is 01:36:26 Loved. I was so happy. All right, because I was like, I, you saw how many comments were like this is so inspirational to me, did it, uh. You know, that's why I'm glad. I have another one that I went did. There was two from that workout today that I'll probably put another one up tomorrow. Um, all right.
Starting point is 01:36:40 Let's see. Peter Kalenko, night in the set, seven kingdom bucks. And clearly so did Sir Earl and a Pinchot. 100%. Yep. Uh, go pal. Have you seen the Lincoln lawyer? No.
Starting point is 01:36:50 I hear that's good too. I do too. Tim, Sam, there he is. At this point with the 907 Kingdom. I've seen enough to rate season 1 of 4.9 out of 5. Safe to say, I'm pulled back into the GOT world after the disappointing finale of the original Game of Thrones show. Yeah, I mean, people did not like that for now.
Starting point is 01:37:05 I'm so curious because I, again, I'm in the minority of people that enjoyed it, but I haven't watched it since it aired. So now that I'm watching it and now I'm going to watch it with Sam. I'm curious what Sam's going to think for the first time. And I'm curious to see what I'm going to think. So, yeah. Did you guys, I forget rocks, did you like the finale? No.
Starting point is 01:37:21 No, you didn't like it. Okay. Go, pal. I want to see Agon's conquest and Robert's Rebellion. It'd be interesting to get Robert Barathean again and a young Ned Star. That would be pretty pretty sound. I always find it so funny with their names. Agon.
Starting point is 01:37:35 Robert. Agion. Ned. It's like the same. You have different houses. Different houses. Death on, death, Rathreon. Ned.
Starting point is 01:37:47 Yeah. all right let's see jeulavine Phil what is happening I don't know why this is happening Timson no not Tim Sim but it's it's it's the
Starting point is 01:37:58 I don't know what is happening with my I'm trying to close I'm going to close things down I get something on my on my internet because it's like it's I have really good internet and I've never had this problem so I don't know what is happening I'm going to try to close some stuff down
Starting point is 01:38:09 to see if that's maybe one of the things Harle if you got to get a new setup come on Roxy why don't you read some of these oh you know You're not logged in the morning. Go Pal says Hassam Minaj got big on the daily show. You know that that's mostly for Christian to tell him. But yeah, that's like...
Starting point is 01:38:27 Wait, hold on. We missed the Tim Sim one with... Oh, sorry. Knights of the Seven Kingdom season one and two. Do you guys think that there's enough to get people back into the world without being burned? Yeah, 100%. It's already happening. People are already watching. For sure.
Starting point is 01:38:43 Okay, then we had the Hassam Minaj one from Go-Pal. Then we have another Tim Sim one who says, biggest takeaway from hearing many folks discussing a night of the seven, a knight of the seven kingdoms is this. No more questionable deviations like Netflix is The Witcher show and keep the adaptations direct page for page. Hope everyone is doing well. Huh.
Starting point is 01:39:05 I don't think that this is a direct page for page adaptation necessarily. People have said it has taken some liberties, but, okay, because that's your takeaway. I love that, Tim Sim. Mike Joyce, Night of the Seven Kingdom showrunner said the plan is four seasons with egg as kid, four as young adult, four as older adult. Sounds like they did a lot of cool things. Oh, wow. So 12 seasons total. Christian, I don't know if you could be paying time. I can hear you know. I can hear you know. I can hear you know. How do you feel about the showrunner saying four seasons with egg as a kid, four as an adult? Oh, I didn't hear that. I didn't hear that. That's great. It's, it makes a lot of sense when you know 12 seasons. A lot of seasons. You can see it going that way. I mean, it's built out enough. I mean, there's a lot of history.
Starting point is 01:39:51 There's a lot of history. Randy Avnell 1-446 could have sworn Roxy was in the new Muppet show in the audience. It's good, but Kermit's voice was all over the place. I really miss Jim Henson. Yeah, thanks for spotting me. I appreciate that. Were you in there for real? Oh, okay, I was going to say.
Starting point is 01:40:09 Yeah, but I'm going to watch that today, so I'll have my opinion on it. Are you guys can hear me? not usually bright and green you guys can hear me pretty well now i'm a mother yeah okay all right i'm okay peter kalenko rocks did you see the preview for the guy richie young sherlock home show no how's it look did it air during super i haven't seen it no i don't know i didn't see it either yeah i missed that um okay let's see next one after that did you guys oh yeah do you guys watch paradise season two starts next i know roxy watch that my wife loves this show she's excited yeah great show it actually got some awards noms which i was happy for about but yeah i'm
Starting point is 01:40:44 definitely going to be watching season two. Tim Tim, hot take. I love the mandon Grogo Super Bowl ad and thought it was a clever shrug. Then again, I'm already committed to seeing the film so I can understand why it's lacking for others. Yeah, I just we're agreed to disagree on them. Yeah, agreed to disagree at Nileverada. There are too many
Starting point is 01:41:01 Netflix binge shows. I mean, that's kind of there are a lot, but that's why I like what Bridgerton's doing, dropping four, then waiting, four, then waiting, or like a stranger things model. I think it's helpful when you don't drop them all at once. My choice. Watch Kronenberg's crash over the weekend. they really don't make movies like that anymore.
Starting point is 01:41:16 Hashtag make movies NC17 again. Gen Z would hate it. And people still don't think that that movie should have won best picture, though. Why would Gen Z hate it? I don't know. I'm not sure if Mike got to clarify. Go, pal. What if they ran this Mando spot at Christmas?
Starting point is 01:41:34 If they ran this Mandoz spot after an actual trailer came out, then I think going to Mike's earlier point, then people are like, oh, okay, you're playing off of what it was and that's fun. but they didn't. Andy's a Franksy. Roxy, your Super Bowl prediction was wrong. Drake, maybe. Oh, man. rubbing it in. Thanks, Andy. Yeah. Matt Krugman. Piki Blinders movie, The Boys, Invincible, Daredevil, Mall, the bride, Hell Mary, Mario, 2. What banger of a spring this year of entertainment is starting us off with?
Starting point is 01:42:01 Which ones excite you the most? I really got to watch this, uh, the freaking peekie blinders. Everybody loves that. I know who's obsessed with it is Makuga. He's who got me on to it. Bonnie used to love it too. Everyone used to, everyone tells me how much I would love it. Yeah, you would. It's like Sopranos adjacent, but old school. Okay. I mean, it looks like it's got a great cast. Yeah, it's amazing.
Starting point is 01:42:25 Yeah, all right. Peter, I love Star Wars, but this may be the first Star Wars movie. I'm not going to spend money on in theaters. Even if they give out popcorn buckets, a rougeiette. Thank you. And Penny Barber rips my ticket. So that's a big problem for them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:40 It is. It's true because I think Mike made a great point before. Thank you. You're welcome. I think that a lot of people are going to watch this on streaming. I think it's going to do very well on streaming. I think it's going to do great on streaming. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:52 Battery, I'm not paying to see this Mando movie. Star Wars is lost. There is. Aunt Colson. LOL feels more like text code for what I'm saying isn't serious rather than an acronym. 100%. Not using it can make a comment feel passive aggressive. It's all it makes it feel.
Starting point is 01:43:07 Not using it can make a comment feel passive. Oh, I feel like you wouldn't use it. Yeah, I agree that. That's what I'll say. Like if I want people to know my, tone and I'm just like, get your shit together, L.O.L. as opposed to get your shit together. Ha, ha, ha. All right. Ha, ha. I never, you'll never catch. You'll never catch L.O.L. with me. I'm too fly camp. I don't care how you paint it. A Star Wars movie making less than 750 worldwide is
Starting point is 01:43:31 pathetic. This used to be the franchise. Now, it's lucky to hit 500. Sad. Star Wars is fading away. You can't judge. You can, you're not wrong, though. He's a pathetic. Yeah, but the state of movies is different right now, too. 100% rocks you're right you're 100% right i mean but it is to think of a star wars would be making 300 400 million dollars you're like what i know it's crazy i don't know about pathetic i'm curious like i i know because of the backlash you face but solo was probably the one disappointing box office wise of the films but actually it's a good movie but i think it it was an uphill battle that was just not dealing with what mando's dealing with i think it needs to be judged off of star
Starting point is 01:44:13 fighter before you can judge Star Wars is like, you know, on life support. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Mike, just some support for LUL's fair. Andy's a Franksy. Don't sleep on Mortal Kombat 2.
Starting point is 01:44:29 Might surprise people. Mike, are you a brutal combat guy? I'm a huge Mortal Kombat guy. I was, the first one came out in the pandemic. It did well, but it was disappointing on a lot of stuff. And I think hearing all the stories of of the production.
Starting point is 01:44:44 They, the producers, the writer, the directors, they all learn, like, okay, we hear you.
Starting point is 01:44:49 We know the areas that didn't work, and we're fixing them. And everything I'm hearing about this, the second one is it's phenomenal. I mean, it was supposed to come out last October,
Starting point is 01:44:58 and they pushed it to summer because they know that. I mean, that's, that's a view of faith. If you're going to be released in October and they move you to the summer, the start of the summer, that's a massive amount of things. I think it is.
Starting point is 01:45:10 I think that's true. I think the movie will do well. And it didn't cost a lot. Um, no, I, it's, I agree with you that they, they move because they have faith in it. Peter Kalenko, if they want to release solo today as opposed to 2018, I think that would do much better than it did and more people would appreciate it. Um, I don't wait it through today. Well, I think I still, I would have done much better if they released it in December instead of May. Yeah. Yeah. Um, rise of Skywalk around horses attacking a starship, lame AF. Oh, that's right. Oh my God. It was right.
Starting point is 01:45:43 They dropped horses on the starship and they're riding the Calvary. Is this the one where we went to that gambling city for a long time? No, that was last Jedi. Last Jedi. Yeah. I didn't like that part. Yeah, it was bad. Okay, this is the one.
Starting point is 01:45:57 Arthur Rose. Christian, stop writing every joke into the ground man. You know what? You're 100% right. No, no, he's right. I'm not going to do it anymore. I apologize. Who are you?
Starting point is 01:46:08 Ray who? Ray who? Ray who? Ray Ho Ray Ho suck my balls, Arthur But he got to do it, he's smart Yeah, all right, let's see
Starting point is 01:46:24 Peter Klincoe Tweedled Edel, my dude, yes, Tweedle Deedle, Tim L. Sim Also, another PS, The Pit is the best medical drama I have seen since House SimD Roxy, let me ask you this because we both watch the pit, which is
Starting point is 01:46:40 incredible. Do you dread getting an audition or a part on that show? 100%. The dialogue, even I'm looking at the ambulance drivers when they're popping out of the ambulance and I'm just like, I played an ambulance medic in revenge.
Starting point is 01:46:56 And thank God, my lines were not medical jargon. And it's a no side set, Mike. That's crazy. I read that rocks. But I read that. I thought I took that as everyone comes so prepared they don't need them. No, not allowed.
Starting point is 01:47:12 Don't print them. I'm writing too on my hand. The series regular's, I get it. You've got the time. You don't always have the time. But you're a day player and you pop in with those. I'm terrified. My buddy's on the show.
Starting point is 01:47:27 He's a recurring as a helicopter medic. And he tells me, and he's a seasoned actor. Wait, so Shannon? Yeah, Shannon McClung. So is he, is he regular now? Well, he was two episodes last season. I think he's got two this season. For him.
Starting point is 01:47:41 But he, he's a season. actor that knows his shit. He's like, Mike, I'm sweating on set. Because I got this helmet. I can't hear them. And I've got this medical jargon. I'm like, oh, motherfucker. And they're so good, he says, when you show up, they're so good at what they're doing. But watching
Starting point is 01:47:57 them, and there was a scene rocks. It could be any episode. But they're back in, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I'm just like, my God, the talent in that show. I love it. I love talking about. We got it. All right, let's go. All right. Battery, I like your taste, Mike. Are you into A2M?
Starting point is 01:48:14 My favor. A2M. Oh, God. I know it. How did you? I don't know that. Because I know it as ATM. That's fair.
Starting point is 01:48:26 Who wanted to take out some money at the ATM? What is that? That's not what I was. That's not a deposit I was looking for. My credit card won't go in this machine. It's all stinky. All right. Andy's and Franksy.
Starting point is 01:48:38 Roxy, the Burbs. Also, who done it. Hashtag is hers. Thank you for the rack. Peter, have Rouge Yette sponsor Mike's trip to ABN. I'm telling you, Mike might short circuit. You know, let's see. Awesome.
Starting point is 01:48:52 I mean, 100%. All right. Ryan S. Look at the, look at the avatar. What the hell is you taking my glasses for this one? Yeah. Yeah, it's a toilet. Christian, is your pilot more like Abbott Elementary or shrinking and look tone writing?
Starting point is 01:49:07 Both are great, just wondering if more is dromity or not. I think it's more like shrinking, right, Rox? Um, I would definitely say yes. Yeah. It's more like, if you were saying Empire Records, Harlov. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:20 Those are the two. It reminds me of that. My pilot does? Reminds of Empire records. Like that, like I don't say a 90s vibe, but like a real just kind of. There's portraits that are more like Abbott,
Starting point is 01:49:32 but tonally more like shrinking. Those aren't the two that I would compare it to. Uh, yeah. No, I would say more so like the bear meets hacks. Where we're kind of tone we're going for. But I would say,
Starting point is 01:49:42 um, Abbott Elementary. Man. Great show. Great. Great this season. That's something I keep talking about. Peter Kalenko, in the spirit of D&D, HBO announced they're adapting. Boulder's Gate is the show. Yes, you brought this. Someone brought this up yesterday. I trust they will make it epic. Do you know anything about that, Rox?
Starting point is 01:50:00 No. Because Rokko said he was familiar with it. I'm not as familiar. Scott Cross. HBO's killing it. Yeah. Do you think there'll be a crawl, blue text, or cold open Mando and Starfighter? I think hype for most fans will be in the month of it opening. I think it's a major, major error if they don't start bringing back the crawl.
Starting point is 01:50:18 I don't think you need it from Mando and Grogo. But it's a sharp, every single movie, you've got to do the crawl. Every single one. I couldn't agree more. I think it is a staple to Star Wars. It's like the old school, you know, Lucas didn't make that up.
Starting point is 01:50:32 It was from like the old school like 30s and 40s. And they used to do that shit. They should do that again and bring it back. Everybody would be okay. He brought it back. Well, you stopped doing it. Why is you doing it again? No one's going to say that. Bring it back.
Starting point is 01:50:44 No, bring it back. Michael D. throwing support from the chat, let's beat Roka. They got, they got, they have to, they have 55 right now. Facility guy, has Mike owned up to his favorite performer? No, not yet. He's still, he's still going through the list. Space Jesus.
Starting point is 01:50:59 How do box office numbers work with people who have like AMCA lists? That's a good question. How do those tickets get counted? That's a fantastic question that's never been asked before, and I don't know the answer to it. Do you? I would assume they know, like, when I buy a ticket, it counts AMCA list. Like if I click on like, hey, I'm seeing this movie, that would count as, but I don't know.
Starting point is 01:51:20 I think AMC's got to find a way to pay that to the theater. I don't know. I don't know how to work. That's a great question. I don't have the answer. Joey, I just got an IG follow from the Bill Lawrence. That's great. So cool.
Starting point is 01:51:31 Do you have anyone you're a big fan of following you online? Mike's got Penny Barber. I wish. She doesn't follow me yet. She needs to. Yeah. I mean, I got some pretty cool peeps that are following me. I don't want to.
Starting point is 01:51:42 My favorite is actor Mark Valley, who one of my favorite actors from a TV show that I loved. We kind of kind of became online like talking people. Bobble Baggins. I was wondering, can I hear the story where Mike fought that leading a wheelchair? What does he have against the disabled?
Starting point is 01:51:58 He definitely didn't fight her. I don't have anything against the disabled. He wanted nothing to do with her because she was going to mow him right the hell over. So, no, that was not a, that was one of the best things, like ever. Yeah, the story, it's a long story. We only have a couple like eight minutes up, but it's essentially this lady was in this car, did not care who was there, rolled right past
Starting point is 01:52:23 Mike and I'm going to dive into the bushes and Steph and I were on the ground. I did this twirl into the bushes and she didn't even look back. You were rolling on the floor laughing. I was rolling on. We were actually rolling on the floor laughing. We actually were. It was street almost. All right. Let's see. Bobo Baggin 66. Obviously, I'm just kidding. But But maybe I should challenge Mike to a game of murderball. I hope you pick up a comfortable wheelchair. There you go, Mike. Want to battle out Bobo Baggins?
Starting point is 01:52:49 Is it? God, I fucking knocked on my ass. Yeah, should. All right. Mike's going to love this one. Armada, A-Y-T. What's Mientz-thost on the catering on those sets? Make sure you've got sanitizer.
Starting point is 01:53:05 And I like to make sure you've got prunes there. Got to keep it loose and fluid. All right, let's see. Matt Krugman. Idea, Christian and Mikey Peaky Blinders reactions. You never, you never seen those. I just don't know. I don't know if those are performing. I don't know if they play, right, Rocks?
Starting point is 01:53:20 They wouldn't play. Well, it's ever than when the movie's coming out, but. That's tougher. Okay. So I think, let's see. There's a couple more. Hold on. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:53:34 A few more, two more. Justin Bishop from Mike, Daisy Taylor for the win. You know that is, Mike? I don't. Daisy Taylor, let me look that up. You have to look. Go, pal. I was a big fan of Keene Eddy with Mark Valley. There you go. Yeah, Mark Valley, buddy.
Starting point is 01:53:49 All right. Well, right now, guys, 59 Roka takes the win. Beech you guys again. That's crazy. What? What? We suck lately, Iraq. Coming in at 67 right now. Oh, is it 67? And we also have a couple more.
Starting point is 01:54:02 Oh, do I have that because of, because I had to sign off before? Yeah, probably. Luke, can you get me a confirmation on what the actual numbers are? And we've got a couple more coming in right now. All right, hold on then. Then hold on. I don't see this Daisy Keene. Go pal.
Starting point is 01:54:15 I was a big fan of Keeney. No, you did this one. Peter, uh, Klanco, Mike is a savage on Twitter in the best way. It said you. Uh, Go pal.
Starting point is 01:54:23 Also, human target with Valley and Janet Montgomery. That's it, Go pal. That's it. Human Target. Great show. I didn't watch it.
Starting point is 01:54:29 All right. Luke's going to do a, uh, a look at what. Rocky, what are you seeing right now? I see 68 right now. All right.
Starting point is 01:54:37 I see 16. what? What? Luke will tell me what did Roca have? Roca had 78 I think Oh come on guys We do we do have
Starting point is 01:54:50 five minutes We do come on guys That's not how it works You know that No I know but I'm just saying Five minutes to try to do some stuff Yeah we got five minutes So
Starting point is 01:55:00 Oh someone said Roca had 82 Someone said Roca at 82 Oh Rook at 82 yesterday So it's not that far off Rook at 82. All right. Thank you. All right. We're okay at 82. Wow, that's a pretty good start to the week. It's a good week. It is. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:17 That's a good start. All right. So, whether it's 70 or 72 right now, I got my, whatever the hell's going on, my freaking internet screwed that up. But Go pal, last one. I thought Janet Montgomery be a good, Yara Greyjoy. I don't know who that is. I said, it's got to be your game of throwing. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know Yara Grayjoy. I can't believe I was watching the vampire
Starting point is 01:55:44 series. She's in it, right? Not she. He, Greg Joy, is the main guy. Oh, okay, okay. Theon. For Greyworm, sorry, not Great Joy. Oh, yes, yes. Okay, I saw the trail for that. I get for one full episode and then all the time I was like, how do I recognize that guy? I was like, that's fucking gray world. All right, look. Good, good fight.
Starting point is 01:56:03 Oh, Yara's Tion's sister? Yes, yes. Good fight. Nonetheless, we had a good show here, guys. Make sure you go to follow Mike, follow Roxy. Are you doing a show tomorrow? I don't know yet. It's possible. I guess it's a possibility I'm going to do one.
Starting point is 01:56:17 You didn't last week either. If you're not doing Wednesday mornings anymore, then I'm going to do Wednesday mornings. Well, hold on a second. Let's talk about some other time. All right. Thank you guys. Both you guys.
Starting point is 01:56:28 Thank you. Tomorrow, if I do a show. If I do a show, if I do a show... You know what time you want to talk about it? Some other time. We have a Mike and Roxy porn talk. Thank you guys for being here. Appreciate it. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, anywhere, podcasts are found. We appreciate you very much.
Starting point is 01:56:45 Ray Ho. Did you shit in there?
