Starting point is 00:00:00 Superman, is it going to have the big, huge opening that everyone thinks it's going to have? They're projecting it at some massive numbers. The numbers can be so massive that they're saying it could be DC's biggest one so far. True, false. What say you? It's myself, Roxy Stryor on the show here today. Let's do it. It's Christian Arloor show.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Welcome back to the show, everybody, on this Tuesday. Thank you for being here. Joining me on the show, as always, is Roxy Streyer. Hello, Roxy. How are you? I'm good. Are you okay? Yeah, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:00:51 It was two o'clock. Just you are late all of the time. Are you coming? The show has to start. I haven't started today. I was just curious where you were. Yeah, that's all I said. I didn't say you're late.
Starting point is 00:01:02 I said, are you coming in? You know what? You know what? You're like five minutes. on time, like all the time. Usually I am, but I imagine if I said, no, I'm not coming. Well, I don't know. Are you coming? Maybe something happened. It's not unreasonable. It's not unreasonable to ask because maybe something there, something happened. If you think something happened, then I would phrase it differently. Or traffic.
Starting point is 00:01:30 You're right? No, I just said, are you coming in? I said, I'm about to start. You said have to start. Yeah, I have to start because I got a, I got a screening ballerina tonight yeah me too it's weird they screened it for somebody roca saw it last night i saw that coy did too yeah so i don't know who knows um did roca see it in san diega yeah and then in l i don't know it's weird in new york they're screening it tonight and so my friend tina who's been doing reactions of me i found out this is great the other day because i was like you know i want to do because we just finished final destination the first five and um i still haven't seen the six neither she has she when when it turns out
Starting point is 00:02:09 that's on digital, we'll watch that. Now welcome to the world of you don't get to go see the things in movies that you want to say. I know, I know. I think it's same thing. You know, on Final Destination also and then I can't go see bloodlines. It sucks. Well,
Starting point is 00:02:24 I would have seen it. It was screening on the same night as Mission Impossible. It's what I would, as long as one of the other people that doesn't see it, that's fine. Like tomorrow, Kate Mulligan's in town. She's going to come in and watch sinners.
Starting point is 00:02:37 That is awesome that she's in town. What is she there for? She's visiting family. Her husband's from Jersey, so they're in Jersey right now. She's taking the train in and we're going to watch sinners tomorrow. It should be great. She hasn't seen it. I can not get that woman to respond to me.
Starting point is 00:02:55 I'll tell her. I'll give her shit on the air about it. No, I mean, don't give her too much shit, but I love her so much. And I am in her hood all of the time, and I can not get a response. from that woman. She's very busy. But I don't even know how I got a response from her. The fact that she was here. I got lucky. Yeah. I think we're going to see her. Yeah. She's coming in. I'm excited to see her. So she'll be on for the sinner's reaction. But anyway, Tina. I was trying to figure out what to watch with Tina because really just finished final destination. And I was like, well, you know, how to train your dragon. The live action is coming out. And I was like, I wonder if she's ever seen those. I was like, I'm sure she has kids, right? I'm sure she had seen that at some point. And I was like, well, and John, Wick that ballerina i'll float it out there i'm sure she's seen both of them she hadn't seen either she hadn't seen hound on the train of dragon or john wick and i was like hell yeah so we watched john wick one this morning that'll come out sayy and i rewatched Jurassic park both have obviously seen that
Starting point is 00:03:52 we just did that um you're doing a lot of rewatches i'm doing mostly rewatches for me um but most i mean sadie obviously for that one but mostly like sam has never seen any of these The only one that she had seen is like Spider-Man 3, right? That's that, and she didn't even remember it. So the premise of your channel is that only one person, at least one person has to be watching for the first time. And one person can be watching for, had the whatever.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Yeah, I mean, for the most part, I mean, like when it came to Jurassic Park, Sadie and I have both seen it. She hasn't seen it in years and forgot most of it when she was watching. Anyway, she's not a rewatch person in general, so she forgets half the crap that even the classic movies. Um, but like last night, what I wanted to do, and this is take too long with her schedule and everything until I built out a home studio.
Starting point is 00:04:41 We were just like laying in bed and you're building a home studio. Yeah, I think so. Like not not not something elaborate like like this. Like just to have like, you know, a screen and some cameras so we can if, if Casedy's schedule with the kids and everything, it's like, hey, we can just turn on a movie at whatever time at night and do something there like that. That's insane, Christian. Oh my God. I know.
Starting point is 00:05:04 It's something I just think I need to do, especially like the, like the, that's cool. Yeah, I mean, it hasn't happened. Yeah, it's probably not going to happen for it. It's a, it's a mission. Impossible? No, not, not. Mission is possible.
Starting point is 00:05:17 So, anyway, we were watching last night, we were really in bed, and I, I love, they hates one of my favorite movies all time. Like, yeah, love that one. And so Netflix last night, I guess, I don't know, they just put it on there recently. And they do that dumb thing on Netflix where they don't show a trailer to show some random scene from the movie, but I know that movie inside it out. So I knew the scene. I was like, oh, you know what? I'm going to just start it. She's sitting there going through catalogs or whatever she was looking at.
Starting point is 00:05:43 And we're talking, but at the same time, I'm watching heat. And she's like, and I've tried, Rocky, I've tried to get her to watch heat over the last 10 to 15 years so many times to where she's like, it's not my style. It's not that I don't want to watch. Last night, I just turned on I was watching. And she's like, I didn't know she was in it. I didn't know they were in it. I didn't know that person was in it. Oh, I'll watch this with you. And I'm like, you got to be kidding me. um so we're gonna watch heat at some point but not not a reaction to it it'll take it's a three hour movie it'll it'll be like a pain in the ass watching that with her in uh yeah it's a really good one though she's interested now it's fantastic and the other thing we're gonna do is dc movies with tina um because there's tons of dc she never saw me on a steel tons of things that
Starting point is 00:06:22 that's perfect leading up to superman which leads us to our main story okay christian look at you right look at shoes okay so This is the early box office tracking for James Gunn's Superman predicts blockbuster opening weekend. Now, again, I haven't looked at this report. I wonder if it's the same report that Jeff Snyder reported or at least said, or this is something all new. We'll find out in a moment. Box office tracking for Superman's opening weekend predicts that the film could be a huge hit for DC Studios and Warner Brothers at large,
Starting point is 00:06:58 directed by James Gunn, the DC Universe stories, David Corenstwit, Nicholas Holt, Rachel Brosnahan, yoddy, yadi, yoddy, yoddy. Let's see. Superman is tracking to earn domestically 154 to 175 opening weekend based on early forecast. So this isn't just Snyder. This is what Snyder said. It looks like he was right from the other tracking that is now coming in. Now, box office theory says its opening debut will likely fall in the 154 to 175 million range domestically. This would place it among the largest first weekend grosses of 2025.
Starting point is 00:07:27 The budget for the film has not yet been reported. Therefore, its break-even point cannot be calculated. So this is kind of them breaking down what the box office could mean. Superman is the primary major studio release later for July 11, 2025. Notably, Jurassic World Rebirth will come out on July 2nd. There will be another potential blockbuster in theaters when Man of Steel makes his debut. Moreover, two weeks after Superman is released, Fantastic Four First Steps hits theaters,
Starting point is 00:07:53 potentially sets the stage for a DC versus Marvel showdown. Side from the competition, the movie may face, another clarifying figure is the respective opening weekend, earnings of past DC films. While Superman is in a different continuity, these numbers gauge public interest. In the last 15 years, the highest domestic opening weekend
Starting point is 00:08:11 for a movie featuring Superman was Batman B. Superman, Donna Justice, with $166 million. The lowest, excluding those he only cameoed in, was Justice League with $93.8 million. Both of those films featured co-headlining or ensemble cast members, so a more apt comparison would be Man of Steel's opening domestic hall of 116. Giving those early projections, Superman could outpace Man a steel right out of
Starting point is 00:08:37 the gate. They also analyze it a little bit further. They say, though the aforementioned figures are not adjusted for inflation, the projections for Superman's domestic opening set it up to surpass its recent DC predecessors. Granted that these are theoretical, they should not be taken at face value. That said, the buzz surrounding Superman strong, with its first teaser racking up 250 million plus views across all platforms. If that momentum is maintained during its release cycle, the DCU film could wind up being massively successful. Moreover, this competition is not especially steep for the first two weeks,
Starting point is 00:09:12 and word of mouth could set it up for further profitability, provided it is positive. All right, a lot to take in there, Roxy, but I think a lot of stuff that we've been discussing over the last few weeks about this, if you're, if this is the projections coming in from other sites, if you're Warner Brothers and your Zazlov and your gun, you got to feel good going into this knowing that that's what the interest level is and potentially could be for this opening weekend, right?
Starting point is 00:09:36 Totally. Yeah, this movie is going to do really well, which I think is exciting for the future of D.C. And hopefully it is as good as it seems like it is. I'm curious from you, Christian, who do you think is in the better position in terms of dates? Superman or Fantastic Four? Would you rather come out two weeks after a Gangbusters movie or two weeks before? I love that you asked that question because I was actually thinking that. And I think the answer is Superman.
Starting point is 00:10:08 I think I'd rather be Superman because if I'm good, if it's a good movie, I'm happy with what I'm putting out there and I have two weeks doing what they said there to gain momentum and more people want to see it. Plus the fact Marvel has had, you know, their shot, Fantastic Four has not had a great track record in general. Superman is Superman. And so if the first two weekends, if you have 175 and then a, you know, a decent drop in week two, you're going to cut a lot of fantastic force. Even your third week, you're going to cut some of their box office in week one. Now, if that movie is really good, there's not going to be too much competition leading into
Starting point is 00:10:50 August, but you're still, the first two weeks, as you know, are the most important. And so if you get hit, you know, in the knees by Superman in the first two weeks, it's going to be tough. Is it hard to come back from? It's hard to come back from it. It's impossible to come back from. No, but I'd much rather be Superman. You? I'm super.
Starting point is 00:11:10 I'm definitely with you. I'm super with you as what I was going to say. And then it was two on the nose super with you. But also because I think that for for Superman, if the movie is as good as I'm, and believing it's going to be. By comparison, after that, Fantastic Four, can't just be good and get a great reaction. It also has to be great. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Because it's so closely after Superman. Sometimes when we haven't had a superhero movie for a few months and then you go and see something, you're like, oh, this is awesome because it's a superhero movie and you're watching on the big screen. But if we're watching Superman and it's amazing, then Fantastic Four doesn't have that luxury of just being good has also be amazing. On the flip side of that, if for some reason Superman sucks
Starting point is 00:12:03 and everybody's really bummed, that's amazing for a fantastic boy. That works in its favor, crazy way. For the most part, I agree. For the most part, I agree. The only thing is like, you know, for the, let's say if you're the average filmgoer
Starting point is 00:12:19 who choose, because, you know, as you and I know, tickets are pretty damn expensive these days for movies, right? So if you're taking your family and you're going, okay, you know, one movie I can take my family to them. I'm going to either Superman or Fantastic Four and you choose Superman and it stinks. And you don't want to spend the money on Fantastic Four now that Superman came first. You know what I mean? So but I also agree with this. There are some people that are just going to see them regardless and just maybe not do the repeat viewing of Superman and rather go back to Fantastic Four.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Yeah, I don't think that would come back. No, it's a new thing I said. All just different ways to look at it. Have we ever had two superhero movies that are this large, two weeks apart from each other? I don't know the answer to that. I feel like, I don't know why I'm saying this, but I feel like surely the answer is yes.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Well, I don't know why I'm saying that. Chad, read us now. I mean, within two weeks? Hmm. What do you mean? I don't know. Cashew. Cashew.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Yeah. Cashew, is that true? That is such a lie. Why don't I lie to you and say cashews? It's pistachios. Completely different. I don't just a word you say. Completely different.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Completely different. Completely different. But I had to, I finished off my meal at least. I just needed something because I'm going to, it's not, I don't get back in time. But. I feel you. I'm constantly feeling I'm up against a wall and all ends always with you. They said BVS and, and, uh, and, uh, and, uh, and, uh, and, and, uh, and, um, and,
Starting point is 00:13:54 War. We're two weeks apart? I guess. And I said, across the Spiderverse and Flash, some people said Shazam came out a week after Endgame. So. Okay. I don't think that Shazam and Endgame are quite at where a fantastic war in Superman. Right, like this level. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:14:13 but BBS and Civil War. I think Ed says about a month. A month is significantly different. It's significantly different than two weeks. Yeah, I'm asking of any two major like D.C. This is the biggest property that D.C. has and this is
Starting point is 00:14:30 a huge moment in Marvel introducing what could be the future of Marvel. Yeah, everybody's saying BVS and Civil War, but that's still, if it's a month within Were they two weeks or were they a month? Yeah, if it was two weeks, then okay, same thing. If it's a month,
Starting point is 00:14:46 two weeks, two more weeks is significantly different. Like that full month. So they said that March 26th, Civil War was May six. Okay, so over a month. Way over a month, yeah. Y'all didn't understand the assignment on that one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:02 No. I have a very clear question. The answer is no. It doesn't look like they're having. March and May. Come on now, team. They're just giving the examples, I guess, too. I understand.
Starting point is 00:15:15 175, though, by the way, is not just a big number for D.C. That's a big number in general. That's like if you stick with people coming back to see it, that's like billion dollar type numbers. If your drops aren't that bad because you look at Minecraft, you look at what's the way? Leland Stitch, both those movies. I don't, they didn't do 175. And they're both. Lel and Stitch are probably going to do close to a billion and Minecraft is close there.
Starting point is 00:15:49 but the difference is, and I do think, not that I don't think families can see, um, Superman. I think that a lot, well, I think that's kind of the point is that they want to get more families into see it and they have the dog and everything too,
Starting point is 00:16:01 but you, you have a much better shot at getting everybody in the theater, especially families and kids with Minecraft, Zootopia, all these different movies that are coming out. Like those are the chances. The kids' movies are always the ones that have a chance to make a billion dollars. always especially if they're good
Starting point is 00:16:20 general or kids animated movies um kids movies in general if if they're done really well i mean look at Minecraft i mean because if you have the families going in there and they're good and the parents are going and everybody
Starting point is 00:16:35 and people fans of whatever the IP is in general you're getting everybody to mix in and go um that's how you make some kishish and that's why they always take these shots at trying to do these movies, even if they're not great, like the ripoffs. And they can't get people in the theater because either they're not good or it's a clear
Starting point is 00:16:59 ripoff, but sometimes you hit Gold, like Mario Brothers. I mean, it was 1.3 billion. He had all the old school fans of it. You have Mario fans in general. You got the families. You got a kid. I mean, that's how you do it. I know our opinions have changed, which we're allowed to do as we get closer to this and as the
Starting point is 00:17:16 buzz changes and as the reports come in. yes or no is Superman making a billion dollars? I said no. But now, but now I'm asking again. I'm still going to say no. Okay. But if it hits 200 million opening weekend or close to it,
Starting point is 00:17:37 I'm going to be okay to eat crow on that one. Oh, yeah. I don't think you're going to be pissed that you were wrong. No, no, no, but I'm just, I see this problem. Did you see the posters today? Also, are you dying and should I keep going? You're okay? I think somebody have almonds or pistachios.
Starting point is 00:17:58 It's not an almond. It's not a cashew. Or pistachios, I said. I said that's, again, I don't know what happens. Not let me do if I watched you pass out on here from here. Probably to call somebody. Yeah, but who? Probably Sadie.
Starting point is 00:18:18 She got the only one that key to the offer. Yeah, but like she's kind of far from you like I feel like 9-1-1 would be better No, she'd get here before they would like 10 minutes or Anyway, that was some good and I'm not gonna do that not gonna do that anyway, did you see the posters today is what I asked you No, no, I did not You're Superman's Instagram page? Can you send it to me? It's just the first thing on Superman's Instagram page, but yes Yeah, because then I can bring it up up and put it up, let people see it.
Starting point is 00:18:55 There is nothing revolutionary. They just, of all the characters, they dropped all these posters today. Okay. Let me see. And I will, the only reason I was bringing that up was because they have been doing a really good job of the steady flow of being on my timeline. And I think that's for a lot of people. There was that video that came out a few days ago of David Cornsweit and Rachel
Starting point is 00:19:18 Brosnahan coming to set on the golf cart. Did you see that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. So just things like that, little things that just keep this in the front of our minds. I haven't seen Fantastic Four do anything like that so far. Not yet. Not yet.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I'm bringing up the poster. What's up? I don't know. You scared me. You sent me the poster. What are you talking about? When you look that way, it looks scary. And you're going to do that.
Starting point is 00:19:46 But I have to. Those are these? It's just one poster? No, it's all. Go to the swipe. Oh, I see. Yep. All the character posters. That haircut is the worst. It really...
Starting point is 00:19:59 I like the classic bowl cut, but I understand. I hate it. Um, it's cool. I hope she's good in it. I like her a lot too, especially coming with last. She was the best part of Last of Us. I was so funny because I was so, well, we get into that later, we'll talk about Last House there. Um, but no, the posters are great. I mean, I think that as I was saying beforehand, I think, I think that people are going to, everyone's going to get into this movie because they're marketing towards everyone. It's not just, I think kids are going to like. I think they're definitely marketing towards kids with the dog.
Starting point is 00:20:36 I mean, that was the one thing. My little one, the second she saw crypto, she's like, oh, so you want to see that? She goes, just the scenes. She said she wanted to see. So smart in what they're doing there with that. 175 is a big number. Here's the other question. Do you think that I'll give you a two part of Roxy,
Starting point is 00:20:56 do you think A, it's going to hit 175. If so, is it 175 or more or less? And then the second part is, will it make a billion dollars? I'm taking the over on the first question. Do you think over 175? Yeah. Okay. I'm starting to think this is going to hit a billion dollars.
Starting point is 00:21:19 It's certainly, with a 175, that's not a, if you think it's going to go over 175, that's not a crazy thing to say at all. Yeah, I'm starting to think this is going to hit a billion dollars. That would be so, so unbelievable for DC after a very traumatic several years. I know. The biggest, the biggest DC opening ever. Manist deal was what, 2014? 2013, I think.
Starting point is 00:21:47 2013, and I started DC movie news in 2014 then. Yeah. It's been a long road for them. to have a Superman open at a billion dollars would be at 175 and then hit a billion would be the most insane thing ever. So I would say that it's more likely than not that it doesn't do that, but I'm starting to think it might. Yeah. I think it'll be, I mean, I think it'll hit right around that. Someone said you're setting your expectations too high. No, we're just going off what the numbers are saying. And this is a different. And these aren't my expectations. This is just my thoughts.
Starting point is 00:22:20 But it's also math. Yeah. Just listening to. to the reports and just my thoughts based on that. Now, there's another scenario here too. And again, expectations have nothing to do with this. The point is if it makes 175 opening weekend, as Roxy said, it stinks and nobody goes back to see it.
Starting point is 00:22:37 And it has like a, you know, 75% drop in week two. It ain't making a billion dollars and it might not even make it the money back. But if it's good and like internationally is going to be interesting though too, because what we didn't talk about
Starting point is 00:22:52 is it's also two weeks after Jurassic World. Now, domestically, I don't think it's going to hurt it. Internationally, it might. Because internationally is what pushes Jurassic World to a billion dollars every time. I am still holding strong that I think Jurassic World will make a billion dollars over Superman. I think overall Jurassic World will do better than Superman. I know that this isn't even that problem, but Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:24 One week. I thought it was two weeks. It's one week later. Superman's one week after Jurassic. Somebody said, yeah. Do you think that hurts Jurassic or Superman more? Superman. Internationally.
Starting point is 00:23:38 In general. Well, I'm just saying, I mean, well, I think it goes hand in hand. I think that internationally it'll it'll hurt it more. And that's really, that's where Jurassic World's going to make its money. and that's where Superman's going to be able to make the billion dollar prize that we're talking about. But 175, though, if you can do that domestically a week later after Jurassic World, you're still in fantastic shape, no pun intended. It's going to be very interesting.
Starting point is 00:24:06 This is going to be a hot topic on this show for sure, seeing what's coming in that. I mean, July is going to be the month that everyone will be talking about who. That's another question, I guess. right out of that. Clearly, you know my answer. I just gave it. You think it's Jurassic. You do, too. Who's the champion at all of July? Is Jurassic? No, I know that you think it's Jurassic, but
Starting point is 00:24:28 I'm starting to think that it's Superman. I just don't know if internet. I don't know if... I understand completely, but do you just mean from box office? Yeah, overall. I'm saying the full box office. What else do you mean? As far as... Wins the Sun,
Starting point is 00:24:43 wins July as in like... Oh, you're talking, yeah, I'm... You mean... Critically? Critically, box office set up for the franchise. I mean, they're both trying to set up a franchise. There's a lot of different ways. That's a different. Those are different wins because.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Right. So I'm just asking you just meant box office. I meant just box office. Like the winner of the, the winner of July out of those three, I think is Jurassic. You think Fantastic Four is definitely the loser of those three. No, I don't. I thought Jurassic, I still think Fantastic Four. will be more money than Superman.
Starting point is 00:25:21 I thought, I did, I already did. What do you mean you already? No, I already said that. I had already said it in beforehand that it would, but I still, but I'm not as confident now after these numbers. But you think it goes Jurassic, fan for Superman.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Yeah, but I'm, I'm more willing, as you're more willing to put Superman in the top spot, I'm more willing to put Superman in the second spot now. Because that's, like I said, that has nothing to do with expectations. That has to do with numbers that people are crunching. And they're usually close.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Sometimes they're off, but they're usually close. And the trailer, um, interest, you know, all that and more. Could be a big thing. It could be big. Do you think you think Superman was going to win July? A smart person says it's Jurassic. I think it's Superman. Yeah, I just
Starting point is 00:26:18 When it comes to They're phenomena Those movies I mean If it really if we're putting money down I would guess Jurassic If I was putting money down But for some reason
Starting point is 00:26:29 Just something in me is like I don't know Superman is about to blow the door off Of the movie theaters I don't disagree with that I just still don't know if they can defeat Jurassic World because those last two movies Were terrible and had no business
Starting point is 00:26:44 That's true $47, much less of 1.2, 1.3. And they did because internationally, they annihilated. That is true, Christian. Those two movies are terrible. I like the first one. I like the first Jurassic World, but the last two were terrible. Yeah, and I would...
Starting point is 00:27:02 I can't argue with you. I think you very likely are right. I would never bet against them is the thing. That's the whole reason. I just can't bet against. Now, you're asking me who I want to win out of the three now. Right. Superman.
Starting point is 00:27:14 I want to rent from the United States. Yeah, I'm letting it cloud me because I just, I'm believing in hope and justice in the American way. And I think Superman is going to prevail. But I don't, Jurassic is the smartest one to bet on. I'm surprised, though, that you think Fantastic Four will do better than Superman. That's the more interesting argument to me.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Yeah. I don't, I, again, if it hits 175, though, Rocks, I'll probably change my tune real quick. I mean, I'm almost ready to change my tune on, on if it because this is it was standard reported this 175 like last week or the week before whatever it was um and now there's other sites now backing that up and saying that that's what it could be i can't imagine the fantastic four is going to open up that big i think it'll probably do 120 to 140 um like 175 that's like a juggernaut number that's like a big number it's a start of the
Starting point is 00:28:14 franchise. This is an excellent entry point for people. Anybody can jump in. That's the thing that a lot of franchises don't have right now. Anybody can jump in on this. We are starting new. I understand that we have peacemaker, but I'm just saying this is, you can just go to the movies and watch a Superman movie. DC hasn't had that in a long time. Yeah. Do you know why I also think Jurassic World will be the winner? Because it's outside of the comic book genre. It's where people like, superheroes. There's a lot of people that don't want to watch superhero movies and they want to go in the
Starting point is 00:28:49 summer just watch people. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I think you're right. Yeah. I'm not, I'm just saying it's just like I, like I said, I want Superman to be the winner. I really do. And I hope it's, and I, out of the three of them, what I think is going to be the best movie, quality-wise? I think Superman. I think Superman's going to be the best quality-wise.
Starting point is 00:29:06 I hope Jurassic is good. I'm excited for Jurassic to be good based on the trailer we saw that I liked. But I don't know. It's very, it's seemingly very difficult to make a good Jurassic movie anymore. So nervous about that. Yeah, because I think they should have went back to basics. And we do so like I said, Sadie and I just watched the original. They should have went back to a smaller kind of movie like that.
Starting point is 00:29:27 They're doing the monster of the week thing again. And I hate that. Do you think we'll ever see more back to the future? Oh man, the age old debate. I am one of the few that believes that we should. I don't think there should ever be a remake ever. but I think there's a way for someone to find the Delorean in time and space. And I think there's a way to do it.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Robert Zemeckis right now will never let it happen. Who have the rights to it? It's universal. And I think it's Zemeckis. But they also showed inside of, you saw the end of Kobra Kai, right? You saw that whole bit with the, when the writers from Coburkeye are sitting around at the very end and the talking about the reboot of the future was the best. It's great because they've been linked to that for a long time.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Yeah. Just thinking about franchises that I actually think could do a really good job if there was more of them. Yeah, if there is more of them. I agree. But the problem with that, Roxy, that one is so beloved that like you've got you'd have, you'd have to get the right team or people are like, because what people initially would do, I haven't even looked in the, in the comments yet,
Starting point is 00:30:48 but I'm sure there's no need for it. You shouldn't do it. There's no reason to do it. You're going to get that right away. And those people are going to be vindicated. If you just go with like, we'll read a story in a second. Like Michael,
Starting point is 00:31:00 Michael Bay, or you get somebody who's just, you just do it to do it. And it's some shit fest. You should never touched it. It was pure. Leave it alone. But then if you're like,
Starting point is 00:31:07 hey, so-and-so's going to do it. And then so-and-so's going to do it with this writer who did this. And then he actually got, this started to do it. Those same people who were vindicated, who thought they were going to be vindicated, are going to go, all right, sounds interesting. Is it the largest franchise that hasn't come back? It's one of them for sure. So it's one of the biggest IPs that had that they, and they've been approached a billion different times. So. But is it the biggest?
Starting point is 00:31:39 What are the other ones that are like that? I mean, I have to go through. It's like one of those I come in and they'll be a question like that that's asked and I'm not going to be able to think about on the spot somebody ask it yeah speaking which uh we the question you're you're working against one 12 with roca yesterday roka oh wow you got a good day roca had 112 yes what happened is that a good day good job roca no is it all right but before we move on to anything else any other topics um make sure that you guys check out our friends over at Turtle Beach. I'm so excited to be able to give you this opportunity to check them out. I hope that you have already done that.
Starting point is 00:32:19 But I'll tell you a little bit more about them, and I hope that you get them. Check them out. Okay, it is great to have Turtle Beach back. And I've been talking about Turtle Beach. You guys have been raving about Turtle Beach. Why wouldn't you? The Stealth 700 headset that I got, it was so great.
Starting point is 00:32:33 It just stood out to me was the sound, man. Like, just playing that Indiana Jones game, as I've told you guys, you could just hear every little thing. I love it. And it's just, it locks me in. It's better than the other previous headsets I've had. I've just had, I don't like being aware that there's other things going on around me. I like being locked into it and hearing every bit of the sound design and just comfortability, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:33:00 I could wear them for hours. I did. It's almost like, they're so comfortable in my head. I was like, oh, I didn't realize I have these things on. I love how precise the audio is. I just feel like I'm so locked into the game when I'm doing it. And it's like that feeling I get when I'm in the theater. I'm just in the world because of the sound.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I love sound. You guys know that. The other thing that's great about is the 80-hour battery. That's crazy. I mean, you don't even feel like you ever have to even charge it. The worst is you're playing something and it just craps out on you. And you're like, oh, no. The Cell 700, it has the industry's first ever cross-play dual wireless transmitter.
Starting point is 00:33:37 system. What it means is that you can seamlessly switch between your consoles and your PC with just a click of the button. It gets even better. While being connected to your console, the Stealth 700 can connect with your phone for music streaming or taking calls at the same time. Starting point is 00:34:48 about that what are you doing i'm going to kind of go over the full like journey that she had and how we a first got her on collier live and then decided that i told you how i told you when i was in l.a that i was going to start using her before she even knew it you know and i was like i just knew she would, people would fall in love with her and then kind of finding out how she had never seen jack crap and just kind of going through the whole journey about the movies that she liked, the things that she didn't and all that and where we're going afterwards and just the full, the full journey and we're going to do like a Q&A and a meet and greet afterwards. Is she your, like, number one right now?
Starting point is 00:35:29 Amy and as far as reactions go? No, no, just like she's like your right-hand person, like your new Brett. No, not necessarily. She's, I mean, she, on the Marvel stuff, I mean, people, I mean, I literally, as soon as I get off the phone, the show with you, I have to upload our, our Miss Marvel reaction. But she's just, she's my Tuesday and Friday, girl, as you're my, you're my Tuesday, you know, and we're bringing Chris Carr in. Oh, yeah, speaking of which I had on Wednesdays.
Starting point is 00:35:56 On Wednesdays, but tomorrow, we're supposed to debut her tomorrow on the show, but I have, I'm not going to do the show tomorrow at all because I'm taping, like, three different reactions tomorrow. So I have to, and I got Kate coming in. I got other things. What? You want to do the show?
Starting point is 00:36:14 Do you want to host the show with Chris Carr? Do you? You'd have to teach me how. Right. See? I think I could do it. Of course you could do it. But it's like,
Starting point is 00:36:25 but that's my whole point. That day, I didn't have time to teach you how. You could have a day? Do I? You're asking me if I do. Here's what I know how to do. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:35 put up overlays. Yeah. Start and stop. Do you know how to share the screen, like to do, like, you know, doing this thing? Mm-hmm. Okay. I mean, you pretty much got it. He's got to run the ads.
Starting point is 00:36:48 And there's only ones, Turtle Beach. What are they under? Videos? I think it's under reloaded into there. You go to media assets. It's under the video clips. And if I might mess it up. If you mess it up, this is what happens.
Starting point is 00:37:05 All right, I won't help the show. Yeah. If you want to, I got to reach out to Chris and see if she's still available. I won't help the show, but I do want to come on when she's on. Okay. Well, let's wait then. Take the DAF tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:37:17 It's fine. Everybody can do the day up. Anyway, speaking of Superman, we still have said, and this is, I know we talked about it briefly yesterday, but I really want to get Roxy's these thoughts on this.
Starting point is 00:37:28 And that is, there is the budget talk. There's the Michael Bay talk. There's influence talk. all that shit and we're going to talk about it right now there's a lengthy feature piece on james gun superman it was on the rap yesterday the first uh the outlet indicates the films the bosa budget of 225 one studio says it sits anything north of 500 million worldwide box office we considered a profit um they said that there's not a big uh competition like Jurassic world
Starting point is 00:37:59 or fantastic four they said that's not the big competition he said rather it's almost entirely a question of Superman resonates with today's audience. And if Gen Z can identify with the old-fashioned character. So they go over some of the numbers about what it made with Henry Campbell. And then they also said that Michael Bay, where is that? Is it down here?
Starting point is 00:38:20 No, I miss it. Apparently Michael Bay was up for a yeah, Zazlov and DeLuca and Pan Amdi were going to greenlight a Michael Bay Henry Cavill movie. I mean, I would love to see Henry Cabell but further cementing why you know Pam Abdi and the Lucas should be there anymore terrible terrible idea I'm more caught up on the Gen Z part of this yeah I
Starting point is 00:38:45 well clearly the 175 to 200 negates that what I think it's funny is that I understand every generation is different but we talk about Gen Z like they're aliens like could could they have a conversation with them I know I know I know but could this old-fashioned character possibly relate to Gen Z? And it's like, so are we now wondering whether Superman the character stands the test of time? Because that's what that debate is then. If you don't think that Gen Z could possibly understand Superman, it's you saying that you don't know that Superman stands the test of time.
Starting point is 00:39:26 And I feel like if I'm betting on any character in all of Marvel or all of DC, the number one character to stand the test of time, I would say would be Superman. God, I hope you're right. Because this debate came up, rocks 12 years ago with Man of Steel. And it's one of the reasons why I think that they took that darker approach with it, because they didn't know if audiences back then that generation. What, millennials? Millennials were going to, we're into the, and it wasn't just millennials.
Starting point is 00:39:56 It was the idea that society at the time was going to take this, you know, hopeful, colorful Boy Scout because remember when he when he really was popping it was like right after World War II and I know it was earlier in the 30s and when he was created but it was like it was really popping in like the 50s when George Reeve or he was doing it and um George Reeves right and um yeah yeah and with is singular right George is plural Christopher Reeve was um in a time when it was a darker period in movies I mean, it was really Star Wars that set the tone because before that, the big movies were Chinatown and, you know, movies like that that were just more depressing. And Star Wars was the first one to go, hey, let's let's be kids again. Let's have some fun.
Starting point is 00:40:49 And then Superman was part of that and like, was a 78. So they were able to bring that back. It was catching the wave of Star Wars and that kind of hopeful feeling again. And it was it called for it. I hope that. pun intended, I guess, that it is time for a more hopeful, I think people miss it.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I think people miss it. And I don't think it has anything to do with just generational. I think it's just a matter of, you know, what you just said, does it resonate? Do people in general want hope? I think the answer is yes. I can't imagine a world in which we decide the answer to that is no. Right.
Starting point is 00:41:29 You know, that's not a world that I can accept that we live in. And I do think for all the faults, listen, my generation millennials have plenty of flaws and faults. There's so many of them. Every generation does. But for all the flaws and false of Gen Z, I don't think a lack of hope is one of them. I don't think that that's what we're dealing with. People tend to have like work ethic issues with that generation. But I don't think that people have like, oh, that generation has no hope for the future.
Starting point is 00:42:01 That's not what it is. And if anything, I think we see them out there fighting every single day for what they think is right. And that is hope. So I'm not saying that that's what other generations think is right. But it's not like we've got a whole generation of people who are. It doesn't want hope. Yeah. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:42:22 I think it's less about whether or not they accept Superman more about do they want to go to the movies. It's instead of being on their phone and looking at TikTok. That part I completely understand that that's going to be. an issue for every movie. Every movie. I don't think that that's a, but they specifically cited is Superman, a character that this generation will care about. And I have to believe the answer is yes.
Starting point is 00:42:43 In terms of the how people view things, I don't know. Like, do I need to sit here and say that Tom Cruise is single handedly saved movie theaters? Maybe I do. But like, when you have somebody who really gets behind what they're doing and convinces you to get butts in seats. That tends to be what happens. And I feel like the Superman team has done a really good job of convincing people why they need to go to the theaters to see this movie.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Yeah. And I hope that's true. Again, marketing with a dog is probably one of the reasons that they're doing it, trying to get people in there to see it because of the dog. I'm telling you. Yeah, I think that that's smart. I think picking a massive TV star to be Lois Lane, very smart. You know, a lot of people who stay at home.
Starting point is 00:43:32 watching television like myself are diehard fans of Rachel Brosnaham. You've got a huge star in Nicholas Holt, who everybody knows. And then you've got an up-and-coming fresh face in David Cornsweat. Not that he's not been in anything because Twisters and whatnot, but just most people, he's not a household name. So I think that they diversified in the casting. We also have one of the stars of The Last of Us. They're doing a good job making this a well-rounded product to get people into theaters.
Starting point is 00:44:02 Even with things like remember, people didn't like the way that Superman looked when he was flying with his eyes. And they were like, this looks different. And aspect ratio wise, when you see this on the big screen, big screen, big screen, whatever it is. They're really pushing it. They are. Man, I'm so curious. This is clearly not the last conversation we're going to be having about all this.
Starting point is 00:44:25 And the other thing is the budget, right? And that's the main thing with this particular story. let's say it's 250. And this is the conversation Broca and I had yesterday. Is that this movie... Where are you pulling 250 from? What they rumored it at is it's anywhere between like 225 to 275, right? So let's split the difference, say 250.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Let's say it's 250. So essentially, and this is what we said yesterday on the show, anything, if it's 500, they're still going to be able to, if it clocks out at making 500, and that's it. you're still going to be able to make movies for Warner Brothers, but you're going to be against the ropes. And every movie now coming up, it's like you're going to have things cut.
Starting point is 00:45:11 There's going to be other things that you're not going to be able to get greenlit. You're going to be in trouble, and you're going to have to prove yourself on the next one if you're doing 500. You do 600, then you get more comfortable. Anything over 700, you're popping champagne models, and you're moving on to the next one. a billion it's carte blanche time um because that's and if you hit a 200 million dollar opening you're gonna you're obviously going to break even no matter what you're going to break even
Starting point is 00:45:43 but what do you think about if if it's 250 if it's 300 still i still think with a 200 dollar 200 million dollar opening weekend you're still going to break even yeah of course what do you think about the number and i don't think it's more than that yeah yeah i think exactly what you just said that's kind of how math works oh so you feel you feel you feel this same thing. It's like anything, those numbers, if they hit those numbers. You and I talked about this a few weeks ago and I, and I said anything over 700, they're stoked. Yeah, agreed. Okay. Well, the budget, big deal, no deal. What say you put your thoughts in there, let me know. And by the way, the Clips channel, popping guys, we hit 10,000 subscribers on the
Starting point is 00:46:21 Clips channel. And I'm excited for that. I hope that you guys. It's really great. I'm excited. Can't wait to do it. Stop crying, Christian. Stop crying. What a weirdo. Wipe your tears, Christian. I don't think you're commenting on the right channel.
Starting point is 00:46:42 What are the meetings? Am I a Zach Snyder hater or am I a Zach Snyder fan? This is my favorite comment we've ever gotten in the chat. Did you not see me chuckling for the last minute? That has to be something. You commented on the wrong channel or you goofing. There's no way. That's the first time anyone's ever.
Starting point is 00:46:56 said that. You know what's weird though is that I hate this now? Come on. That's a moron. Put it up. Read the comment. Wait. No, I just did. I'm not putting it up. That's not real. That's, I've never heard that before. I'm a so I'm now I'm just, no one has ever called. Stop crying Christian. Admit that this movie looks better than your beloved Zach Snyder. The movie looks good. That's not that's not real. That's not a real person. That's that that is someone goofing around. That's if that's a real person, you need to smash. your head into a wall and go to sleep for about an hour. Stop crying, Christian.
Starting point is 00:47:31 That's not real. That's not real. That's, that's, that's, why are you still crying? It's so funny. It's been so many years, Christian. Gosh, admit it. It's true. It's like you got to go to the meetings. I'm telling you when I, when I liked the, like, I really liked the last
Starting point is 00:47:45 trailer and people were like, oh, of course is that this guy is DC shell, you see you see you show. And then, and then when I didn't like the scene, you get idiots like that guy. we go, oh, in a minute, they're going to be better than a Snyder movie. I'm like, what are you talking about? Go and have a catch with somebody. How many of them are bots? This is what I started to wonder, too.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Like, in my DMs, I get some of the craziest things. And in like nine out of ten times, you click on their profile and they follow zero people, there's zero followers and it's a fake image. It's just weirdo stuff. It's all it is. It's weirdo stuff. It's like when you get that locked into like something like that, It's not even like, it's not passion.
Starting point is 00:48:25 There's passion. That's weirdo stuff. Anyway, what do you guys think about this in general? Do you think that this budget is going to be a big deal, not a big deal? Let me know. Okay. I am going to stay with D.C. here. And I want to see what you guys think about this.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Clayface. I got some four Brits vying for the Clayface. Someone said, stop crying Christian. Michael Bay cut is not happening. Stop crying about it. I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I hope Michael Bay was going to happen. That was, I think there was somebody messing around. That was somebody messing around.
Starting point is 00:49:06 I apologize to that person. I thought you were serious. For, Chris, they haven't apologized, so I think they were serious. No, they were not serious. They were not serious. That was, that was completely a joke. If they were, if it was a joke, why aren't they saying anything? They did. There's no way. There's no way. That was, that was, they were messing around. There's no way that was a real. If that was real, that's the stupidest person that's ever loved. If not, it was hilarious.
Starting point is 00:49:28 Fort Brits vying for Clayface Lee Roll. British actors, George Mackie, Tom Blythe. This is a good, this is a good cast so far. Jack O'Connell, wow, three bangers and Leo Woodall. I don't know Leo Woodall. Oh, he's amazing. Okay, and all reportedly testing for the lead role in Clayface movie at DC Studios and Warner Brothers. My Time to Shine a Lowe revealed the casting contenders list, though it's unclear how accurate is.
Starting point is 00:49:51 The report follows on from comments from Flanagan himself this weekend that he was out promoting his new Stephen King adaptation to Lychard Chuck. Flanagan confirmed the characters acclaimed two-port origin story episodes, Feet of Clay in the 1990s, Batman, the animated series were the big inspiration for the movie. Asked about it by comicbook.com. Flanagan says, explains his love of those episodes in a frame series. I thought he wasn't doing the movie anymore. I thought he wasn't writing it. I mean, that is the perfect story. Feet of Clay, Ron Perlman, to me, that's it.
Starting point is 00:50:21 Two-parter knocked it out. Knocked me out, excuse me. The short answer is that is absolutely what inspired my script. That is the world I want to live in. Batman, the animated series when I was growing up, was my Batman as much as Michael Keaton was my Batman. The animated series really was my Batman. Asked about how development is going.
Starting point is 00:50:37 He confirms the script is going through some revisions. Planning and completed his work on the script a while back. And then since then, James Watkins came aboard to direct while Hossine Amini is reworking the script. As a result, Planning and is not certain how much of his work will remain. He said, I don't know what they're doing with Clayface. I guess he did leave. Okay. I'm not directing it, and that filmmaker will need to make it their own. I know they're doing work on this script.
Starting point is 00:50:58 I'm off doing other things. I really hope it remains true to the spirit of what I wanted it to be, but it's not my movie, so I'll be in the audience with you, anxious to see how it comes out. Fourth and fifth episodes of the first season of Batman the animated series, following actor named Matt Hagan, who was disfigured in a car crash. Businessman, mob boss, Ronald Daggett, offers him a supply of experimental face cream, allowing him to transform his face for short periods into whatever appearance he wants at the cost of doing jobs for Daggett considering expendable after a job gone bad Daggett's goons forced an entire bat of the substance down Hagen's throat and leave him for debt but he mutates into a walking creature of clay who can shape shifts to anyone at will and he sets out for revenge against Daggett that's kind of interesting um I like the four people that they they they any one of those four you got to get on the Leo train man so what's
Starting point is 00:51:48 What's he in? So he was the star of this show that I talked about on here called One Day, which was like the movie. The, I think. Oh, the one, was that Anne Hathaway? Yeah, but this is the TV show. Oh, okay. And it was unbelievable. He was also in one of the seasons of White Lotus.
Starting point is 00:52:02 I don't remember if you watch that show. Mm-mm. He was a big deal in the last season of what, not season three, season two of White Lotus. He was a big deal or that was his name? No, it was the character's name, Big Deal? I said he was a big deal. I said he was big deal. He was a big deal.
Starting point is 00:52:18 Big deal. That's like what they're calling. You're happy with yourself? No. He was a big deal. And he plays this kind of like dirt bag in the Joe. In one day he plays somebody who's not a dirt bag. So he has, he's been one of my favorite actors since White Lotus and watching what he's done. He's so good.
Starting point is 00:52:41 He's about to be a big household name. Like the next big thing, I wouldn't be surprised if he got this. Okay. Well, there you go. And the kid from the Hunger Games was also really good, too. Snow, where's he been? He hasn't done anything. Jack O'Connell was fantastic in Sinners.
Starting point is 00:52:57 He might get a shot to do this because he's getting rave reviews for what he did in sinners. He was fantastic in that. And George McKay. Now, which one was he? Oh, he was from 1917, right? Yeah, yeah. I mean, listen, like you said, I trust your endorsement of the last person.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Yeah. That's for, I like what you're doing there. I like who you're going after. Yeah, if it's real, you know, if these are really who you are going after, I'm really interested in what they're going to do with Clayface. I think that this could be a really, really unique property for them. But not unfortunately,
Starting point is 00:53:34 what we've seen them do with Clayface so far on the Harley Quinn animated series is that he is a big joke. And oftentimes Clayface is portrayed as a, big old joke. Okay. He looks goofy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:51 It's hard to make Clayface not look a little bit goofy. Right. But they're going this horror direction, hence getting Mike Flanagan, they're trying to make it a little more serious. And that's cool to me. That's something that would really excite me because it's horrifying what happens to Clayface. Sure.
Starting point is 00:54:07 But you know what makes me excited at the rocks is that this sets up, this, people don't realize how important this is because this sets up Batman. This sets up the Batman universe. This sets up who, what tone they're going to go with in Batman because this is Batman's got a, the Batman in the DCU has to exist with this Clayface. That's exactly what I'm referencing right now, Christian, is that I'm, I've always been a huge supporter of Harley Quinn, the animated series. I love it. But that's our current version of Clayface. And it works amazing on the show. He is so dumb, so stupid, so silly, like steals the scenes. You love him. And that totally works on that show. And one of the problems that people have had with gun in the past, people thinking, oh, does he understand these characters in the darker world? Is he going to make everything silly and whatever?
Starting point is 00:54:59 And I think that with Clayface, it's going to be so vital to show us that you understand the depth of characters. And I think he will be able to show us that. I would be so, so, so excited. Are you guys excited? Do you think that, you know, Clayface could work? will it work? Do you like this tone they're going with? And what do you think about the actors that are rumored to be in it? Put your thoughts in there. Let me know whether you're watching Lime, whether you're watching in the comments section. Let's get we just, this is what I'm trying
Starting point is 00:55:26 to do each and every time. The Clips channel right now is at 10,000. Next goal, 11,000. We're going to go 1,000 in a time here. So let's get us to 11,000. You want to find that. And you're like, well, what do I need the Clips Channel for? Whether you can't watch the live show every day. If you do, I love that. But if some people can't, and you want to go back and you want to see some of the stories we're talking about, you go to the Clips Channel. Before we get to the questions, because Roxy, you're currently at 32. It's not bad. Not bad at all.
Starting point is 00:55:51 People reminding me that he was in Creature Commanders also. Yeah, he was. But that also was a different tone show. And people also being like, that's not how he was in Batman the animated series. Not saying that it was, that was a very long time ago. Yeah, but you're just saying that's the most recent thing that you have. That he's been on for years now. I mean, it's a current show that he's on.
Starting point is 00:56:10 It's time for you to now get into some movie news that. It's not movie news. It's TV news. Kristen, this is the craziest week yet. Hold on a second. Why can't I get you? I'm trying to move you over.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Well, while you're trying to move me over, I'm just telling you that this is, I'm about to hit you with like 10 shows because we had so many finalies and so many premieres. Well, I'm trying to get you. Sometimes I can't do this.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Can you know how host the show? No. That's a suit for this one. Do you want me to train you? No, it's like, no, I love about Luke will Luke who's on vacation right now and I can't he goes in he makes things
Starting point is 00:56:52 different on the show and he helps things out but he doesn't tell me sometimes when he's doing these things and now I can't I can't I used to be able to move you over and now I can't move you yeah switch me to where you are no and that's what I need you to be and I don't want to start messing with that so try that all right what I'm going to do roxy I'm just going to I'm going to have to like navigate from you're not going to be able to talk to me I'm just going to you'll be able to You'll better do this. Oh, God damn it. I'm going to be able to talk to you.
Starting point is 00:57:22 I'm out of your time myself. Still can't do it. We'll try this. Is that work? Oh, this is the worst. I don't know what he did. I don't know what he did. Oh, that was good.
Starting point is 00:57:39 No, it's the same thing. It's good. Just move me to where you are. Yeah. I can't do it. I can't move. Like, it's not. Bless you.
Starting point is 00:57:46 It's not moving. How about we go back to me in the screen? Go back to me where you are. Hold on. I don't know why I can't move it. And now, let's see. Hold on. I don't like this.
Starting point is 00:58:03 I don't like it. Everybody's sending super chats. I know at this point. Let's see. So, yeah, because the problem is that none of this has happened. It's like, hmm. Hmm. So you'll take it from here.
Starting point is 00:58:15 But now, now it's not even switching. Now I'm not even switching me to you. Let me see. I'm going to try to sign back in a second. Maybe that's it. Hold on. Oh, no, I don't want to do that because then I'll lose all the freaking super chance. All right, we're just going to have to, you're going to have to, it's going to look like shit, but you're going to have to do.
Starting point is 00:58:34 I don't know why it's doing this. Great. Over that. See, look, look what I'm going to do. No, it doesn't matter. You can't say it. You could. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:58:43 This is perfect. It's not even doing this. Just put it back. I made it work. put it back. Yeah. This looks perfect. Okay, fine.
Starting point is 00:58:54 It's me sitting next to Tom. No, it's not. You can't see you. Yes, you can. You're seeing you right now? It's me and Tom Hardy. It's just me and Tom Hardy. What is the audience seeing right?
Starting point is 00:59:08 You are not in the shot. What is the audience seeing right now? Why would I see what's wrong? This is weird because I'm seeing me. Okay, well, that's wrong. So let me ask you a question. If I have, so if I have that, are you, or is it now you? I don't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:59:22 It's that nothing's changed. So bizarre. Like I, I don't know what this is. I'm going to take a picture. I'm going to take a picture of what it looks like right now and send it to you. They say it's, they say it's Roxy with the graphics. So if that's the case, well, it's not a good version of it, but I've made it work.
Starting point is 00:59:36 I'm sitting all the way at the edge of my screen. Go ahead. I don't know how the, I don't know what's happening right now. I'm going to, I'm literally going to do a screenshot of showing you what I am. Okay, but did you see Mobland's finale or no? I've only seen episode one. That's so crazy. Christian, you're going to love this show.
Starting point is 00:59:50 I know. Whenever you catch up, you're going to love it. All right. So Mobland had its finale. The finale was unbelievable. Like the Mobbland finale had no business being this good. This was an epic season one for this show. Helen Mirren should win an Oscar, an Emmy for the show.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Imagine winning an Oscar for a TV show. She should win an Emmy for the show. That's how good her performance is. The show is so phenomenal. I cannot wait to see more of this. Every performance is great. The script, the story for the final season and for the final episode and the way they set up next season, I am so intrigued by this. I know a lot of you guys aren't caught up, so I won't give specifics or spoilers, but phenomenal, phenomenal finale.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Okay, next one. Did you see my picture? Yeah, did you see mine? Yeah. I don't get it. It's still, I'm still looking. Look, if the audience is seeing you, that's great. But right now what I'm seeing, I'm seeing me and I don't see you at all.
Starting point is 01:00:48 But go ahead. Your friends and neighbors had its finale. It also was just announced that's getting a season two, which I think it is earned. I love seeing John Hammond in this role. I love their unique take on rich people. This is a rich people show in the same way that Succession's a rich people show. White Lotus is a rich people's show. There's a lot of nine perfect strangers can be a rich people's show.
Starting point is 01:01:11 There's a lot of rich people shows right now. and this one does it different. And I'm really enjoying what they're doing with their rich people. Okay, next one after that. Hacks finale was, this is one of the best shows of the year. This is to me the best comedy of the year. I am so, so excited to watch this win more Emmys. I think that it will.
Starting point is 01:01:39 These two women are just the most unbelievable performers, and their chemistry is gangbusters. And how they keep it fresh and alive, their relationship is just, it's great. I loved watching them travel and see what that did to Gene Smart's character. Yes, perfect. Hack is perfect. Did I tell you about the finale of Hammeysdale? You didn't tell me about the finale, but you tell me what you wanted from the finale.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Christian, I want to punch a hole in the wall what they did with this show. Bad? It's not even that it's bad. It's that they didn't give us one thing we wanted. Like, so, spoilers on Handmaid's Tale. Spoilers on Handmaid's Tale. The entire premise of the show, Christian, is that in season one, episode one, what happens is this girl right here, June, Elizabeth Moss, thank you for the spoiler alert.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Now, now we don't see the Handmaid's Tale. There we go. Elizabeth Moss's character's daughter is taken from her. She becomes a handmade and her daughter, Hannah, is taken from her. That was eight years ago. Her daughter was taken. The entire show is about her getting her daughter back, and we don't do that. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Fuck you guys. Like, you guys promised us that we would, this season would be about vengeance and joy and, like, getting what we are due. And June ends up with no one. She doesn't, she's not with either of her men. One of them dies. One of them just doesn't want to be with her anymore because they're so different. And they don't get their daughter back. I was like, you're fucking kidding me.
Starting point is 01:03:15 You're kidding me. Like, how did you do this to us? This is, and it wasn't that it was poorly done in terms of it. It wasn't like the finale was bad, like Dexter. We just don't like your decisions. I just am like, why would you make those decisions? Why wouldn't you give us anything that you would feel good? You've ended the show.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Give us one victory. Like, uh, yeah, makes sense. Uh, wow. Man, the Tylenol murders fucked me up, Christian. I love it. Do you know what this is? No. It's a docu series on Netflix.
Starting point is 01:03:51 I don't know if it's called painkiller, but this is called the Tylenol murders. Maybe this is it. This is a real story about eight people who died from taking Tylenol because it was laced with cyanide. Yeah. You know about this? No.
Starting point is 01:04:05 This happened in the 80s. Oh, wow. And they died and they still haven't found the person who did this to them. Wow. This is a true crime. docu series about whether Johnson and Johnson was responsible because they own Tylenol, whether it was this one creeper dude, whether it was the pharmacies, like why. And it also just shows you how scary it is taking something that you don't see what it is.
Starting point is 01:04:33 It is freaking me out. It's really freaking out. I would have been better off never knowing that this is a real thing, but they did a great job with the doc. All right. Murder Bot is a show on Apple TV Plus. Have you heard of this? So they sent this to me a whole series about two months ago, about potentially getting people on the show,
Starting point is 01:04:53 but I just, I just didn't, I couldn't get around to it. So I never got a chance to see it. I think that that's fair. It's not Apple TV Plus's biggest show. You know, we're not dealing with severance or silo or the morning show or any of their massive
Starting point is 01:05:06 Ted Lasso hits. This is a half hour show. And it's cute and it's fun. And I like it. Scars Guard's great. David Delsmoshian's great. It's got funny moments. And the first episode, I was kind of like, okay.
Starting point is 01:05:21 And then as it builds each week, I'm more and more invested. I'm really enjoying this. I'm happy to hear that because I like everybody who's involved. Yeah. And just like that came back. So I wanted to mention that I will be watching this and bringing it up periodically on the show. This is the spinoff of Sex and the City. And this season, we seem to be doing a lot of exploring of Miranda's sexuality.
Starting point is 01:05:44 and a lot of exploring of Carrie's long-distance relationship. And now we've introduced these two other characters, neither of whom are Samantha, that have joined the group. The show is good, but it desperately, desperately misses having Kim Ketral in it. And without Kim Kutral, it will never be the same. That's what everybody says.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Two more. Big week this week. Huge week. A binge sirens is the number one show on Netflix right now. Have you heard of this one, Christian? My wife just finished watching it. Couldn't be better. Couldn't have been more fun.
Starting point is 01:06:15 She liked it, yeah. Loved how it ended. It actually made it more poignant of a show than I thought that it was going there. This is the one with Millie Alcock, right? I want to say, no. Isn't she in it? I thought her and Julian Moore. Yes, Christian.
Starting point is 01:06:32 I thought you were setting me up to say. Oh, no, I wasn't. I was being serious. Because you know that's where we got the clip from. I know. Yeah, this is with them. and also Megan Fahey, who people know from White Lotus and a million other things,
Starting point is 01:06:50 but she's having a big moment right now. This show and Kevin Bacon. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. This is definitely the one that my wife watched. This is excellent. It is very like ethereal almost. It's almost like a cult show, but it's not. You kind of don't know what moments, what's going on.
Starting point is 01:07:08 And I think that the writing was brilliant. This is really good. It's making people's top 10 list of the year. Wow. And I understand why. Okay. Last one right now. You guys have been telling me to jump back on season two of poker face and I love season one.
Starting point is 01:07:24 I don't know why I was dragging my feet on this because season two is excellent. Season two is so good. We have insane guest stars on this show. And it's like a mystery of the week show that you can pick up, put down, leave wherever you want. Natasha is an excellent lead for this. Every episode is super duper unique and fun, and I think poker face is just a plus for what it is. It is a good reason to subscribe to Peacock if you don't have it. There you go.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Now, here's a question I have. What do you see on screen now? Me and you. Oh, okay, great. I see me and you, but it's just like, so how about now? Is it just you? Yes. Ready or not, summer is coming.
Starting point is 01:08:09 And Wayfair's Memorial Day clearance is on now. Right now through May 25th, get up to 70% off everything home at Wayfair. Starting point is 01:08:35 Wayfair, every style, every home. This is so bizarre. Like, you can see what I can't see. say. I am brilliant. Yeah. Nice. Okay. Well, that was great. Thank you, Roxy for your TV picks. I appreciate it. Good stuff there. And now we're going to get into, you're going to see, now we get into the place where Ken Roxy take out John Rocha. She's done it many times before. This is a big 112. 12 or 113. I can't remember. I'll have to look it up.
Starting point is 01:09:07 It's a 113 actually. Man, we've got a long way to go. Yeah, but I mean, you're starting out of 44. That's always good. You start out of 44 when the questions are starting. You're in good shape. And I'm also going to look and see if sometimes, sometimes stream yard misses it. So I'm going to go back and I'm going to look and see because that's what I'm a rookie yesterday. So have you stopped crying yet. I know. No, I'm still about something else. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 01:09:28 First one. By the way, I posted the clip of so we have a new guy who's working on our shorts and you get an excellent job with the fly video. That was great. Great. But every comment was about my glasses. Like, I have, like, I have three pairs of glasses. These people like these ones that I have. But then I had these glasses that people were like, every comment was like, are they going after the poor glasses?
Starting point is 01:09:57 I'm like, hey, I can't see. Leave me alone. Oh, my God. Why did you post it separately instead of a share? She made to share with you. No, yourself. You posted it on big thing and you posted it on your Instagram, but it wasn't one post with a share.
Starting point is 01:10:11 So you split the views. Oh, I probably should have done that. Like done as an ad as a collaborator? A lab, exactly. I'm going to start doing that. Yeah, that's good. Oh, considering I have access to the other account. Should have thought of that.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Thank you, Rox. Yeah, I got you. Makes a lot more sense to do that. I saw it and I commented on yours and I liked it. And then I kept scrolling and I saw it again. Yeah, you're 100% right. Why am I not doing that? Every time with my shorts.
Starting point is 01:10:38 Yeah, every time. What an idiot. Mustafa again. Hey, what did you think of the one piece stuff at Tadum? Did you watch the Tony Chopper footage revealing the next crew member? I did. The next crew member, okay. Listen, if you're going to, that show is so wonderfully bizarre that he showed me who the new character was.
Starting point is 01:10:58 I can't judge you got to see him. I got to see him in action. That was a show. And I say it all the time. I thought it was not going to be for me. That it wasn't meant for me. I had no business watching it. I loved that show.
Starting point is 01:11:12 I told a bold face lie this week that I didn't realize I told the bold face lie until like two days later. We were talking about this news and I was like, yeah, you know, I watched One Piece, but I don't know the original source material as well. So I don't remember. I don't know this character. So it didn't really affect me. You never watched One Piece. I remember you saying that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:36 I feel like you would love it. I was mixing it up with Avatar the Last Airbender, which. I watched and they came out similar times and they both were coming from source material. So for some reason, I thought that that's what it had said. But I just straight up on air on my show. I was just like, yeah, I watched One Piece. I've never seen a frame of One Piece.
Starting point is 01:11:53 You should because I think you would love it. I think I would love it too. I just can't believe I did that. I know. But there's never worse than when you lie on accident. Right. And you're like, wait a minute, I didn't see that. Luke S. Amazon Prime canceled Wheel of Time.
Starting point is 01:12:06 Did you both ever watch it? I watched the beginning of the first episode, liked it, never got back to it. But people who watched it swear by it. And we have a couple of viewers who said, like, the first season was okay, but it didn't. They really picked up. But bummer, because I think there's a lot of people who are probably going to be upset. I watched the first couple episodes of this, and then I stopped watching it. You know who's binging this right now is Steph's a bra.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Is she? She loves it. What I will say about this show is it is so ungodly expensive that, and I don't know, a lot of people watching it. So kind of no shit Sherlock, they're canceling it. Right. This is a really expensive show that for some reason did not catch on. True.
Starting point is 01:12:50 That makes sense. Tim R. Juan Soto contractor Superman's box office. Who makes more? Superman's box office. Juan Soto is eating dog duty. But, you know, he's young. We'll see.
Starting point is 01:13:01 But that, you know, a bust, a big bust. crashing coyote announced after today are we closer to the year 20 after today we are closer to the year 2050 than 2000 that's disturbing as I said I couldn't believe it rocks when I was watching um heat last night the movie's 30 years old crazy that's crazy I remember seeing that movie in the theater there was the movie was 30 years old yeah and yeah it's nuts and it was 1990 95 to me like in comparison like 1960s 65 was in 1995 and that seemed like when in 1995 that seemed like a hundred years ago so nuts um matt crugman i saw friendship last night great funny film overall is that the one with uh with paul rudd but it is strange very misleading do not expect the robin oh yeah robinson rod but but kind it looks strange it looks strange i don't you notice i don't love that guy Rudd? No, no, I love Rudd.
Starting point is 01:14:05 I guess Robinson. I guess he had his own show. Yeah, of course. You don't like him. Oh, well, that makes sense because you don't like Nathan Fielder and he is, they're kind of like. Yeah, I don't dislike him. I just, I don't go to my way to go, okay, I find that guy funny. I've seen clips and stuff on Instagram, but it's, it's that. I like, I think you should leave. I, I, I like it. I like it. But he, I don't love him the way I love Nathan Fielder. Or, or the way that I had loved, um, Sasha Baron Cohen or, uh, Chris Lilly.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Right. Or any of the people of that type. Like I loved Summerite's high. I loved the Allie G show. I love rehearsal. Right. Well, my thing that rocks for both of them is unjust because it's not like I've watched, I don't know if I've watched more than a clip of Nathan Fielder.
Starting point is 01:14:59 And to be honest, the clip that I did see of him, I laughed and I thought it was funny. It was one where like this kid was, I don't know what show it was from this, but he was going in for a job interview, but he was letting the kid give the answers. Oh, Nathan for you. That's Nathan for you. I'm guessing. And I found it funny. I found it funny, but I was like, I don't know. It's just something about him.
Starting point is 01:15:17 You know, there's certain people. You're like, yeah, I don't need to watch anything that person does. And this other guy, maybe this is the same thing. Unjust, completely unjust. Everyone's like, that's not fair. You're not wrong. You're 100% not wrong. It's just one of those.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Mara's also in this movie. I like her. Jack Dylan Grazer is also in this movie. Yeah, I saw the trailer. It looks interesting, but weird. He has been directed and wrote it. I don't know who that is. Eric Thompson says Foxy Roxy.
Starting point is 01:15:43 Come to Wilmywood, Wilmington, New North Carolina. On my way. Are you going to do a show there or what? Yeah. Type 5. Mike Joyce. Wow, Roxy, loving the hair today.
Starting point is 01:15:56 There you go. Is real rejects, are they doing live shows across the country or what? They should. You mean, is that why they send that in? No, I don't think so. I should. I don't think we have any intention on doing, I think that maybe one day,
Starting point is 01:16:11 but I haven't heard of anything. It's a lot of work. I love to. You know, I love live shows. Yeah, it's a lot of work, but it also, like Greg needs another thing to do. That's the problem. We were supposed to plan one for last year,
Starting point is 01:16:22 and then we did do the fire benefit multi-con this year, and even just doing one panel, it was like, it's so much work, and that was in LA. Yeah, it's a lot of time, too. Yeah, it's got to be worth it. That's the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:16:38 Noah S. Hope you guys are having a great day. Thank you, Noah. Have either of you checked out the new FX Hulu comedy adults? Watch it all. 50-50 for me. Half the jokes are good. The other half makes me want to drink.
Starting point is 01:16:50 Sand. I have been recommended this by a few people this week, so I will check it out. However, I've been told that this is a show about Gen Z. And so it makes sense that some of the jokes hit or miss, depending on what generation you're in. Yeah, it will have my daughter watch it. I can't even joke about how. Have I say like, that's the thing with your generation. If you do one of those?
Starting point is 01:17:12 Oh, she gets so up in arms. Is she Gen Z or is she Gen Alpha? She's Z. My little one's alpha. She gets so up in arms. It's like I don't even bring it up. Creshing Coyote. Thoughts on Battlefront 2 resurgence because and or the meme is on June 6th,
Starting point is 01:17:30 RAE.A. So we get Battlefront 3. Fans are calling it order 6 at a 6. Like I said, I was never a big battlefront guy. I respected it. And I liked it, but I was never, like, I like more of the RPG games where you're, I like the, like, what's, nice world public is my favorite Star Wars game. I like when the story is really rich. I like Battlefront too, because there was a story going on with that one.
Starting point is 01:17:53 So if they do a third one with a story, maybe, but I'm not, I'm not part of the movement as, if you will. But we'll see, we'll see if they're able to do anything with it. I don't know. Okay. Robert, it says when counting the number of shows you watch a year, how do you count the normal broadcasted shows, like ones that run the full year? Does law and order count for last year's numbers or this year's?
Starting point is 01:18:18 That's a great question. Both. Anything that has an episode that airs in 2025, I count. So what I don't count is, like, I went and watched, I forget which shows I've watched this year from previous years, but like when I rewatch Friends, that doesn't count as a show I watched. this year. It didn't air in 2025, but anything that airs in 20205, I count as a show from this year.
Starting point is 01:18:43 Okay. Let's see. Next one after that. Be able to have a new member. Oh yeah. Very excited to introduce to everybody to our new member. Initial D's Overdrive. Thank you for that. We have a lot of great stuff. As I say, where PLD is going to probably be hitting me up pretty soon about a new unedited reaction that we put up. We try to put up at least one. a week. So hopefully you guys get one of those this week. I'll see what PLD requests. We've got a lot and backed up. Roman. What's up, Roman? Where you've been? Hey, Christian and
Starting point is 01:19:16 Rocks, on the job. Well, there you go. Can't listen as much as it makes sense. Glad to be here today. Roman, you should definitely be subscribed to the Clips channel then if you have. I clicked it by accident, relax. Since I've been out a bit, favorite movies and shows of the year so far. I'll let Rocks answer the shows. Someone asked me this the other
Starting point is 01:19:34 day as far as my favorite movies go. I would tell you that I think my favorite movies that I've seen so far, my favorite is sinners. Thunderbolts is really good. I missed warfare, which I want to see. And what else? I love. I love sinners also, and I love companion. So good.
Starting point is 01:19:57 I didn't see that. And you loved Mission Impossible, didn't you? Yeah, I loved. But it wasn't my favorite of the year. Okay. So I'm just going to put sinners up there right now. I haven't been blown away by anything outside of sinners. For TV shows,
Starting point is 01:20:14 dying for sex, adolescence, and severance are on the top of my list. When's Dark Matter Season 2 coming at Roxie? Good question, let me look. Mike Joyce. Is that Thor 3? Thor 3 in Jurassic and Justice League
Starting point is 01:20:33 were two weeks apart? Is that true? Is that true? I don't know. He says story three. Second season filming began February 2025 in Chicago. Of what, Gardner? Okay. Yep. So that would mean to me
Starting point is 01:20:50 probably at earliest end of this year, latest top of next year probably. Okay. I'm excited for that one. Tristan Usher became a member. Thank you. Excited for all the new members that we have. Oh, and I got great news, by the way. And Roxy, your first person, the crew to hear about this. So Wicked Art finished the the capes and cows comic book series, the whole series from issue all the issues are done.
Starting point is 01:21:14 He's going to put it in one big thing. And then what I'm going to do is going to reach out to people like I'll reach out to you. And then we'll just book like a session where you and I get all your dialogue for your character. Put it in the end of them. I'm going to make a big two hour, three hour like capes and cows episode with all of the sound effects and music and everything in it. And we're going to bring that comic book to life with voices. and everything else and sound effects yeah it's going to be i'm excited for him for wicked art he works so hard on that and people and all members have access to that too by the way um it's really good
Starting point is 01:21:48 it's a fun story big balls is in it which is exciting um and roxy's the bad guy which is going to be more exciting am i yeah you're the bad guy cool yeah it's great top dog rlg i think the big test is whether Superman has legs or fizzles after week one 100%. Only way it reaches one billion if it's really good. And well, and if it also has a really good second week. Top Dog, I'm obsessed with you. This is the funniest comment. I think the test is if it has legs.
Starting point is 01:22:19 Well, yes. Yeah, it's got to have legs. 100%. It's if it has legs. Basically, you're saying, I think it will do well if it does well. I know what he's trying to say, but yes. 100% I adore you. I don't mean to.
Starting point is 01:22:35 He's probably laughing at that. Joey, what's your over, under on the casuals coming out in Master Superman? Well, at 175, clearly they're going to be coming out because that's not just the hard course.
Starting point is 01:22:46 If it is that, yeah. Yeah, we'll have DC fans, but I think we're underestimating the casual audience coming. I don't think we're underestimating, Joey. I think if you get 175, then the casual audience is 1,000% coming. You're not just getting 175 to 200 on the DC fans. You're getting,
Starting point is 01:23:01 you're getting the casual fans come in. So yeah, I mean, that's going to, and that is also how the next one comes in. I mean, the next week is really going to be so important. So we'll see. If it does well. If it has legs, it's going to do well. Big Busta in the house.
Starting point is 01:23:22 If Superman turns out to be a great film, I'm going to see it in multiple times, see in the theater multiple times. That's it. Legs. That's it. Well, yeah. If people go back,
Starting point is 01:23:31 To see it, it's going to have legs. It's true. And if it has legs. Then it's going to do well. All right. Next one. After that, again, 49 right now, Rocks. 49.
Starting point is 01:23:42 Let's go. With a little more than half an hour to go. I think you're in good shape thus far. 37 minutes left. All right. Thank you for that for Big Buster. Big Buster. Now we get Joey.
Starting point is 01:23:55 He's Buster. Jay. Jay Anderson. There's Jay. China is a huge market. China is a huge market. Wait, China is a huge market does not have the same interest in Superman as the U.S. That is true, though.
Starting point is 01:24:10 My local Toronto theater audience was booing the trailer a week ago. Really? Interesting. Why are they booing it? Because it was so interesting. Jay, and I don't, this is not me implying that I don't believe you, but for real, a whole theater booed in Toronto booed. How many people? How many people were booing?
Starting point is 01:24:29 Was it like, you know, three people in the corner? Or was it like... If that did happen, I'm shocked that that didn't make news. Ed, at the movies. Can we find that guy who never bet you on Thunderbolts for a Fantastic Four? He's been hidden in a cave. I know this. He has been nowhere to be found.
Starting point is 01:24:48 There was a guy who was very loud. I know. He wasn't, he wasn't obnoxious. No, I know. He was wrong. He was super wrong. I mean, it haven't happened yet, but... He hasn't once come in here and said,
Starting point is 01:24:59 all right, all right. I was wrong. He's for people who were wondering, he was trying to bet me. And I told him, I said, we were going to bet $1,000. And I said, let's do it. I said, PayPal, you know, whatever, we'll PayPal, we'll get it in there. And it said, there is no world. There is no world that Thunderbolts will do better in the box office than Fantastic Ford. And he said, well, it's getting really good reviews. I said, it has nothing to do with it. There's no world. And still, there is no world that is going to do better, especially now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:27 Losing money. And so shame because it was a good movie. Paige, I thought you were a member, Paige. She's back. I'm glad. Yeah, who's back? Love Paige. Go again.
Starting point is 01:25:37 Thank you, Paige. Rishi Shukla, great show. Thank you, Rishi, and thank you for that in a very nice donation. The billion talk always depends on international. Always. All three are opening in China, so that helps a great deal. Aquaman remains the highest grossing DC movie of all time because of almost 300 million from China alone. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:25:55 The question is what will China care about more, dinosaurs or Superman? And I think the answer is going to be dinosaurs. Yeah, but I don't know that we know that they're not going to care about this Superman. I know. They might. I think that China will care about Superman. I just don't think they're going to care about them as much as dinosaurs. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:16 Because the thing with dinosaurs in the Jurassic world, movies the reason why they do so well you don't really have to have that transfer in the um subtitles really like matter yeah i hear you you know what i mean it's like as where superman will it might not transfer over the same way because the emotion the character it's just people yelling and screaming and running from dinosaurs and everybody can get behind that that's it so i agree with everything that you said rishi thank you again i was very very, very kind. 52 set in the stage.
Starting point is 01:26:54 Roxy trying to catch John Roca. Can she do it here on Tuesday? Run, run, run. We shall see. Top Dog, what Superman stands for is timeless, in my opinion. What he stands for? Absolutely. I think that's the point Roxy was making before, too.
Starting point is 01:27:08 At least that's the point. That's what I hope is the point. True. Initial D's overdrive, one out of six. Thank you, Anisha. Hey, Christian and Roxy. Christoxy. I have watched at least
Starting point is 01:27:22 100 Superman trailer reactions and once the algorithm got through all the sane, reasonable people, which was about 95%. It devolved into the last 5%, the bros, the Snyder Ball, two but lekers fighting a war that not even the director
Starting point is 01:27:38 they're defending cares about. It was sad to watch and highly entertaining. The nitpicking was like they were reaching into a pocket dimension. Superman is the best trailer I've seen in the last five years or so. I think it got me more hype to see any movie than other trailer in recent memory. I like Manisteele. I even defend it sometimes.
Starting point is 01:27:59 But I can also like the new one that's coming out 12 fulkin years later. Snyder first was messy and niche. Respect on everything you wrote there. And to me, stop crying, Christian. I know. This is a person who, again, this is an intelligent person right now. a comment in the way that it's like okay look there's things i liked about it the things i didn't if i did like something about it doesn't mean i'm a standard bro if i didn't doesn't mean i hate
Starting point is 01:28:24 him there's intelligent people and there's stupid and there's stupid people this is an intelligent person right now realizing because i think that the hate can be so overwhelming but as he said 95% of the people were positive right right um anyway so i agree with you i think that this it's it's up. The second trailer was hyped up big time. The second trailer was story, not the scene, because there was the scene and there was this. Because I didn't love the scene, the beginning of that scene. I didn't, I like the thing with the sun and the robots. I liked. I understand where they were going with that. I didn't love the thing with crypto. I love it. I love it. But I understand why somebody
Starting point is 01:29:05 wouldn't. I'm worried about it. I'm worried about it. But it also, I don't have any context yet. I'm worried that they're going to rely too much on the dog. So we'll see. Anyway, thank you for that. Would you rather Superman be a movie that your daughters love or a movie that you love? Hmm. For this one, it'd probably be me.
Starting point is 01:29:28 I'll be honest. That's why I'm asking, because I think that makes sense. Superman's my favorite coverable character. Right. So, and you know, Christopher, my, and plus the fact, my daughters don't really care. So the thing that they're attached to the dog might be the deterrent for you.
Starting point is 01:29:44 Now, what, what's going to be, what they're going to care about is what happens tomorrow, which is the Wicked 2 trailer. That's what they're going to care about. Yeah. They're going to lose their minds. My choice, could the Celtics have beat the Pacers? Maybe. And the Knicks could have beaten the Pacers if they didn't drop it in the first two games.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Do you mean a healthy Celtics? Or do you mean a without Tatum Celtics? Yeah, but Celtics were healthy for those first two games too, and they blew it. Same way the Knicks blew it. I'm just asking for this question. Is he asking without Tatum or? No, no, with. With Tatum?
Starting point is 01:30:15 Yeah. I thought that the Celtics were going to run through everybody. So it's hard for me to answer that question because we did not show up to the next. I don't know how we would show up. On both teams, Rocks. The way that you guys played in those first two games against us is how we played against the Pacers in those first two games. And you can't win, as you said, you can't win games. You can't win series if you drop two at home.
Starting point is 01:30:36 Yeah. It's horrible. It's over. Max Cragman, Roxie, I finally finished you. My God, amazing ending. You love that. Yeah, the ending was awesome. See, okay, that's the kind of thing I was hoping for from Handmaid's Tale.
Starting point is 01:30:48 We're like, we finally get the thing we've been waiting for. And on you, you finally get that thing you've been waiting for the whole time. Right. But no. I'm so upset about it, Christian. I know. I can hear, go pal. Hey, Roxy, I was just in Boston last week.
Starting point is 01:31:03 My nephew graduated in law school number two in his class. That's incredible. That is incredible. And also, I don't know where he went to school, but Boston has some of the absolute best schools. So it would be number two in your class. there. Yeah, I want to take a weekend with the family and go to Boston. Like, there's so much fun stuff. Christian, have you ever even done a duck tour or like freedom trail walk? Have you done
Starting point is 01:31:25 any of the Boston things? I've, I've been to Boston. I feel like once in my life and I think it was like, I don't even remember it. I think it was there with my dad like briefly. It is so beautiful and so fun. And it's especially if you're with your family and your kids, there's just so much to do there. I really want to go to Cape Cod, though. Yeah, Cod's the best. That's where Kate goes all the time. I know. Go, pal. I finally get to see sinners after work tonight. Oh, dude, enjoy it. It comes out on digital tomorrow, by the way.
Starting point is 01:31:56 Which is what we're going to do. The theater before it comes on. Absolutely should see it. There's A2J became a member. Look at this. We've got a lot of new members here today. Oh, A2J. Go, pal. Still need to catch up on Wednesday's show and the first half of capes and cows from last week. Or you can go to the Clips channel. That too. Mike Joyce
Starting point is 01:32:14 Wicked for Good Trailer Drop Tomorrow. Are you excited? I know Roxy is. This is the best. Yeah. It's the best. I am a little nervous, Christian, because I, you know,
Starting point is 01:32:27 I love the musical. I love the show. And I loved the first movie so much. The songs in the first half of the movie are stronger than the songs in the second half. Sorry, the songs in the second half of the show. Right.
Starting point is 01:32:41 Because we have Defying Gravity and Popular, which are the two biggest hits of the Wicked songs. So I am kind of curious if the trailer is going to hint at like, are they going to do another reprise or are they just sticking to the, I'm very interested, but I'm going to look for this. All right. Let's see. Next one here, making sure you're, are you on the screen by yourself? Yes, I am.
Starting point is 01:33:03 Why? What are you doing? Picking your nose. Christian's Boatoy. Hey, Roxy, you look in lovelies today. please ask Christian to stop keeping me all to himself. I need time to breathe, baby. Nothing on that.
Starting point is 01:33:20 You know, you have some interactions with big balls in the comic book. We'll see if I do. We'll see if I do. You're going to rewrite it? I think he's more, I think he's more obnoxious to Steph in the comic book than he is to you. A2J, as a comic fan who has always gravitated towards the very character's gum seems to change for creativity. I need him to stop at peacemaker. I'm excited for the DCU.
Starting point is 01:33:45 Who do you guys want to see in the DCU? This is more question for Roxy. She's more in that world and knows about it more. For me, the easiest most cliche thing is I want to see who the new Batman is. That's what I want. I think that's such a fair answer. I have been wanting, clamoring for a long time for a Mr. Freeze movie. I think after we saw how they did the first Joker movie,
Starting point is 01:34:07 thinking about what a beautiful story that they could tell with Mr. Freeze. Right. Would be really, really cool. So I don't think that that's necessarily a direction we're going in, but that's something that I would love to see. Who I want to see in this DCU, I want to see how they do like our poison ivy, our Harley, our baddies, our sirens.
Starting point is 01:34:32 There you go. There's a DC answer from the DC girl. Brooklyn, Roxy, how do you like your eggs in the morning? Scramble, right? I love eggs so many different ways. definitely the most basic and easy is scramble, especially like eggs, bacon and toast, I could have five days a week. Turkey bacon or regular?
Starting point is 01:34:51 Regular. Turkey bacon's good and better for you. Yeah. But if I'm just like living on the edge, bacon. Sure. Yeah. Clay Titus. Hey, you fizznoons.
Starting point is 01:35:02 I was looking for the stuff and my clip on big hands. I couldn't find it, but I cracked up laughing at your face in a profile. What's up with? That looks like you found a goal night with what's the what? What's up app. Is that what it is? On the profile, what's up? Looks, hmm, I'm not sure what that is. But I will.
Starting point is 01:35:21 What is Fun's the News? I don't know. But that clip with Mike and Step, I'm actually going to put it up as a separate clip. And because I have a whole playlist of the things that made us laugh. I just haven't been able to put that up yet. That one's so good. But it's great. It's hilarious.
Starting point is 01:35:36 Really, really funny. I examined her hands. They're not, they're normal size. Mike's an imbecile. Uh, gopel. I fell off Hamayn's tail before the end of season two. It was too depressing. Apparently it stayed that way.
Starting point is 01:35:50 Yeah, and I did that for six more years than you did. Yeah, it's too much. And GoPel follows it up and says the Tylenol Sinai thing happened in like 86. Yeah, that's what I thought I said. Yeah, you said he was just reiterated. I mean, that was horrifying. And I did not know about it. And the fact that they never put anybody away for it.
Starting point is 01:36:09 Mm-hmm. And many people died. That's a lot. Mike Joyce, what food reminds you of your childhood? I just bought some nutty buddies. Whenever I eat them, I remember eating them at my grandmas when I was a kid. I'd say Italian Isis. Popcorn shrimp. Popcorn shrimp is a good one too. Yeah. Whenever my mom used to let me pick dinner, I would always say corn and shrimp. And she would make this like frozen popcorn shrimp in the oven and make corn.
Starting point is 01:36:36 That was my favorite meal. Wow. That sounds really good, actually. Go-Cal follows up in Thailand and all things. Apparently that's the reason why there are no capsules anymore. and everything comes in Tampa Evident Packaging now. Yeah, they talk about this in the dock. If you're interested in this, it's so, it is fascinating how these changes were made
Starting point is 01:36:52 and what Big Pharma is able to accomplish and how much Johnson Johnson said that they were the victims of this situation when actually all these years later come to light, they might have been the cause of the situation, not sure, allegedly. Yeah, allegedly. My choice, I like the setup for Roxy's TV picks more. No, you don't. Is her going like this? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:37:17 I can't be true. No. My back hurts. Oh. Uh, go pal. Every time you say Michael Bay, my brain flashes to the Bruchheimer Simpson title card, probably some 90s thing burned deep to my brain, 100%. Like, he was the best.
Starting point is 01:37:33 He was the best in, uh, back like for the 90s. I mean, people are like, wait, you like Michael Bay? No, for the symbol of the 90s, it's a great 90s director. I mean, I love like, I think I love one of his movies, which is The Rock. It's funny. It's a great movie. I never saw it.
Starting point is 01:37:51 And I like Armageddon. You never saw The Rock still? No, I love Armageddon. Oh, you have to do that. You got to let them, you should tell Greg that you've never. I have a whole list of movies like that I've never done that Greg is not tapping into, man. That's a, they do so much stuff. And it's all like algorithmically prepared.
Starting point is 01:38:10 So. Yeah. Okay. Let's see. Here we go. Another one. Go pal. I saw like two episodes of One Piece and I love them.
Starting point is 01:38:18 Some reason never went back and continued. Go back and watch it before the season two. I loved One Piece. He loved it, right? That was like, you're the best. Okay. So right now, Rocks 56 going in with this one, Q, that we haven't seen our QMD, SMD.
Starting point is 01:38:33 Support for Roxy enjoying the show as always. Well, I think he was here last week. Yeah, that's true. We haven't seen, we haven't seen Crystal. Crystal hasn't been a crystal. If Crystal shows up. you might be able to beat Roca, but it doesn't think that's going to happen.
Starting point is 01:38:48 56. We're trucking along for that 22 minutes. Complete agreement about sinners. It's my favorite film so far. The Pit is my favorite show so far. Roxy loves that too. Thank you, Roxy, for the recommendation on that one. I got you.
Starting point is 01:38:58 It makes my heart, like, sing when you guys listen to my TV picks and then you love them. It's so exciting. I think the pit was such an easy one to miss this year because it's a medical drama that most people were like, why would I watch this? But I can't believe. it's going to make my top 10. It might make my top 10 of the year.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Mike loved it too. Tom Hanks. Roxy, I'll ask again, thoughts down on Karen Reed. How crazy was that that I didn't know about that situation? I don't know what's going on. Oh, that wasn't on this show that I found out about this? Karen Reed, oh, this is, okay. Gosh, Chris. This is a huge trial. Yes, probably. This is a huge trial in Boston that's been going on not only for years because she went through the trial and then there was a mistrial. but now she's on the new trial where her boyfriend who was a police officer was killed and she's on trial for his murder. I, when they brought it up when I guess I was with Roka, I had no idea about what this was
Starting point is 01:39:58 since then I've seen it everywhere and all my friends are like, how did you not know this? You're from Boston. This has been the biggest story here for years. My thoughts are that she didn't do it and that the, and again, this is just one person, thoughts, but I think she did not do this. I think that the relationship was very tumultuous. I think there were issues. My thought are that the cops have set her up
Starting point is 01:40:20 and she did not do this. Okay. Initial. Overdrive. Not a new member returning. Last time I chat was with Roxy on and I said, I could explain my name. Roxy said she wanted to know and I never did. So
Starting point is 01:40:35 I guess he was going to explain his name and he never did it. But now he still hasn't? I guess not. I guess he doesn't want to do it. You said that for you guys. Tom Hanks. Sirens was good until the end on four seasons now. It's on four seasons now? Oh, watching four seasons. Four seasons was great. Sirens was good until the end is crazy to me. The end was my favorite part. Oh, wow. My wife really liked it. Most anticipated TV and movies of the summer. Well, for me, summer, there's only really one that's coming up in summer. In summer, that I'm really excited about. Oh, God. There's so much good TV this summer, Christian.
Starting point is 01:41:09 Oh, it's movies, movies. And most anticipated TV. Oh, and movies. So Superman is the most anticipated for me for the summer. Me too. I mean, there's other ones that I'm interested in. Like, I'm going to see ballerina tonight. I'm very curious about that one, right?
Starting point is 01:41:25 There's some other ones that are- Fantastic for you're interested in, no? Yeah, definitely. I'm just not like super, I wouldn't call it my most anticipated. Yeah. As far as TV goes, what's coming out that I should be excited about, Roxy? The Bear, season four, June 25th. 100%.
Starting point is 01:41:40 Squid game, season three, June 27th. Wow, yeah. I got to. This one, you don't care about Christian, but for me, it's a huge one. It's always sunny in Philadelphia, season 17, July 9th. And this one is going to have the crossover,
Starting point is 01:41:52 the second part of the crossover of Abbott Elementary, so I'm so excited about that. Wednesday, coming out August 6th, which is the number one English-speaking show that Netflix has ever done. So that Wednesdays. Oh, oh, Wednesday. It comes out in August?
Starting point is 01:42:07 August 6th, yep. Oh, wow. I thought it was an a very very good. November show. Lady Gaga. No, you're thinking of Stranger Things.
Starting point is 01:42:13 No, I mean, well, Stranger Things I know is coming out November, December and New Year's, but no,
Starting point is 01:42:19 no, I just think thought because it was Oh, Coral. I guess last time it was November. It just feels like
Starting point is 01:42:24 a Halloween slash November release thing. Season 2 of Platonic. I'm so excited for this. I loved this show, and I didn't know
Starting point is 01:42:34 that Apple's going to give it a second season. And Peacemaker is coming out at the end of the summer, August 21st. Latonic, is that the Seth Rogan one? Yes, it is. Roseburn.
Starting point is 01:42:42 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Jay Anderson, full house 9 p.m. show more than half booed. Many said it looked goofy and bad. Even the family in front of me, of me and my girlfriend said it audibly looks dumb. That's so weird. Hey, wait, hold on. Put that back up.
Starting point is 01:42:59 He said it was a full house. More than half boot. Many said it looked goofy or bad. Jay, do you promise your time? telling the truth right now? Maybe. We'll see. I mean, I wouldn't see.
Starting point is 01:43:15 Why would you lie? But why would you lie? I know, but I just, I haven't heard that at all. Like, and especially in Canada, aren't they nice? That's what they say, but I mean, Canada has been a little angry recently, I think. Jay Anderson, also politics aside, anything U.S. and a hard sell in Canada right now. As I just said, sport teams are also getting booed outside the areas of Toronto. That's what I just said.
Starting point is 01:43:40 Totally. Yeah. Wow. That's interesting, though, Jay. And it definitely gives us insights. It's something that I haven't even thought about is how this country is being perceived in other countries right now, which, you know, like, I don't even, I don't know where we're at with the tariff situation. If that will affect Superman's viewing in other countries and people wanting to boycott America in any way, maybe. Maybe.
Starting point is 01:44:06 Hoodwinks. Hoodwinky. Sorry. This Silver Age Superman is a bit problematic. if you know his geopolitical history. I'm sure China knows that history. I don't know enough about the history to say whether it is or it isn't. Do you?
Starting point is 01:44:18 I thought I did, but I don't know what this is referencing. Yeah, so I don't know. Dexter Resurrection trailer thoughts. I didn't watch the trailer. Even in the trailer, you see where they're talking about, he's like he didn't get permission to enter into sort of countries. Right, right, right, right. I like that, though.
Starting point is 01:44:35 And he's like, but I'm not fighting for America. One country, I'm fighting for the war. I'm fighting for good. I love that. Maybe about that, like maybe Savior stuff, I guess, might be what they're referencing. Mr. N.D. fanatic, Dexter Resurrection, trailer thoughts. I had never, I had didn't finish the prequel series yet. And I have to because I love those first three episodes. Did you finish the series? God damn it. I haven't started it, Christian. I don't know what's wrong with me. You got to. But it's the same thing with me.
Starting point is 01:45:01 I don't know what is wrong with me. Roxy, I watched those first three episodes on the plane in when I was going to Florida with my family. And I loved it. And I said, I got to watch this when I get back. And I still haven't watched it. I have to. This is another summer show. And I can't even put it on my list of excited because we don't.
Starting point is 01:45:17 Resurrection is coming out this summer. What's wrong with me? I got to catch up because I do want to say it got me more excited for sure. Got it got to watch. Yeah. All right. So now, 62, by the way. 62, not bad at all.
Starting point is 01:45:32 So you're going to catch Roca? I don't know. Oh, you got 62. And we are now, again, thank you to Mr. Andy now we got Trey Parker thoughts on the Knicks firing fibs um you knew somebody who's going to get canned is you can't do you can't do what you did you just they blew it they blew it top dog rLG i've played both the last of us games and love the show the backlash seems less about quality and more about people only being able to consume media through a narrow political lens thoughts
Starting point is 01:46:03 i don't agree with that i don't i don't well i don't think that that's everyone who doesn't like it I don't think that's fair. I had a great conversation with Steph last week. She didn't like it. We were talking about the things that were going on. You talked to Roxy. She loved it. So it's just, again, difference of opinion.
Starting point is 01:46:19 I don't disagree with you, though, that there are some people who are looking through the political lens of it. And that's usually the people get loud. But there's a lot of times that if you have a show that just isn't hitting for everybody, it's not just allowed people who have those political agendas. there's other people who are going, yeah, just, like, I didn't like it. I didn't think it was a good season. Steph, it's another one, didn't think it was a good season. So other people didn't think it was a good season.
Starting point is 01:46:45 And then you get the other side of it. Well, I talked to Stefan, she did not say she didn't think it was good season. She said she thought it was an awful finale and she won't be watching next year, but that it was, they had great episodes. I think she felt about this kind of how I felt about Andor. Okay, well, it didn't come off that way when I was talking to her last week. But it, but it was, but I also agree there, there was some, there was some episode that I really enjoyed.
Starting point is 01:47:04 I think six was fantastic. Are you not watching season three? I'll watch it. She's not watching season. Yeah, she told me that. She told me that. And I don't blame me. I'm like, but I'm not going to be excited for it the way that I was looking forward to season
Starting point is 01:47:16 two. I'm shocked by this. I'm shocked. I both agreed though. Steph and I both agree that for some reason they made Ellie way more annoying this season than they made her like she was, I didn't find her. Some people disagree with me and said that she was annoying in season one.
Starting point is 01:47:32 I didn't find her annoying. I've had her extremely annoying in season two. I don't think it was Bella Ramsey's fall. I think it was the writer's fall. fault. Yeah, I thought the show was amazing. I mean, I can't believe how much people are disliking it. I thought it was amazing.
Starting point is 01:47:46 Okay. I mean, that's fair. I mean, that's beauty of opinion. Yeah. Go pal. I feel like I saw Real Reject's reaction to the Rock. They must have put another team on it, I guess. Oh, maybe. Well, certainly wasn't me unless it's one of those times where
Starting point is 01:48:01 Greg was bringing up a Greg and John were bringing up a movie the other day. And I was like, oh, I'm dying to see that. And they were like, literally watched it for the channel. I was like, fuck, really, when? I don't remember. How do that work? Are you exclusive to them watching movies?
Starting point is 01:48:16 I don't know. Because if you come into town, we should watch the rock. If they did it already. You know, I haven't been to New York since pre-pandemic. I know, you got to come. You definitely got to come here. It's just so fucking expensive there. It's more expensive there than it is here.
Starting point is 01:48:34 Now where I am. Now where you are, but if I'm going to New York, I'm going to the city, obviously. Yeah, sure. I'm just saying it. You could, you go. The hotels are, I was looking the other day. It's like, it's like $800 a night for a hotel. That's crazy. That's crazy. I don't expect you to remember initial, like initial. Okay. What I keep saying, I don't know if I was saying that right before. That's not. Initial also follows it up. It's not important. Support for Roxy. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:49:00 Initial, okay. I have a friend whose name is spelled like this, that's Annal. at all. Oh, that's probably, that's my, that's what I said. Always Sunny coming back soon. You just made my day, says Mike Chutz. I'm so, it is the greatest long running show ever. Honestly, I might even put this over S&L, like, and I love
Starting point is 01:49:19 SNL, but always sunny. It's going to be the 17th season. Yeah. This show is so it. People love it. People swear by it. It's so good. Yeah, people swear by it. Um, Jay Mobile, I hope soups, Fantastic Four, Jurassic Park are all great. The only thing I worry about for
Starting point is 01:49:35 soups is if Jurassic Park is great, doesn't that second Jurassic Park Friday cut into soup's opening, potentially. Yeah. Potentially. But again, if it's tracking for 175, then it really doesn't matter. You know what I mean? If it's tracking for once you're having to hits 175, then it really doesn't really matter. So right now, 64 rocks.
Starting point is 01:49:53 And then Jay Anderson says, there's no lies, not trying to start shit, just experience, just sharing my experience for the sake of conversation. So I don't know, we didn't feel like you were trying to start. No, Jay, I think you're awesome. I just am shook it. that a theater of Canadians, half of the audibly booed Superman, that is like crazy to me. It makes more sense, though, when you think about why everything going on in the world, that's why. That's all the point of Superman is that he's here for the world, not for, like.
Starting point is 01:50:20 But he wasn't, no, he was about truth, justice in the American way. That was this whole whole thing. So, like, so that's still going to go with you. All right. So, Roxy currently. You're in touching strays out there. Yeah, we're at 64. We're at 64.
Starting point is 01:50:35 So we're going to sign off now unless one of these things happen where we always have like, you know, like a step or even a Roka situation where you're about to sign off and then they keep you on. But if not, we'll be back. What did Roka hit? 113. Yes, right. He had a good one. He had a good one yesterday. But, Roxy, before we do sign off, where can the good people find you?
Starting point is 01:50:59 Find me everywhere at Roxley's Dreyer on Wednesdays and Sundays on my channel. I talk television and Wednesdays. I talk everything else. All right. So there's one more here from Brooklyn. Lease say Spacey is making Paxel 2, retitled Nike. Well, no, I don't think that. Maybe, maybe so. Top Dog is given us encore. Top Dog. Sorry for booking so much fun early. I think he was laughing at it too. Roxy, thank you for being here.
Starting point is 01:51:29 We have legs. If we have legs, we'll do well. If we have legs, we'll be here. But thank you for being here. I'm excited to talk to you next week, but we're not, what are you filming tomorrow that you're not doing the show? Tell you in a second. Rishi Shukla, with all due respect to Always Sunny, which I love. The greatest running show is South Park, which also comes back in July. I like South Park.
Starting point is 01:51:50 I like South Park a lot. And South Park is more of a commentary all the time. Always Sunny is finer to me. Always sunny to me, there's nothing funnier than it's always sunny. I cry laughing those episodes. Isn't The Simpsons still on TV, though? That's the longest running. The Simpsons is what how long has it been running?
Starting point is 01:52:13 I don't think the Simpsons has been long longer than SNL. No, not an SNL, but it's been, but it's, no, no, no, definitely not. The Simpsons was 1990 and, and no, 75. Yeah, so. But as far as, yeah, that's a scripted one. So you mean, oh. Yeah. Buster Bar.
Starting point is 01:52:29 And Grey's Anatomy is up there, man. Crazy Anatomy. Wasn't Superman created by a. I think he was I think he was uh top dog the live stream needs legs people see spoken phone himself exactly where are our legs i don't know where they are we need toes we need feet we need legs yeah uh mike joyce you find out big balls has a play date with the shit rats what do you do is big balls allowed to play with them yeah easily what you remember the shit rats from the cliter Fider days with me and Schnep.
Starting point is 01:53:02 Oh, yeah, yeah, of course. So Big Balls would have a good time with the three shit rats. They'd probably cause chaos. I'm pissed at the rats right now. Shit rats? Why? They went to my sister's car and they bid out all of her, whatever. And now she was like $5,000. Rats got into her car.
Starting point is 01:53:18 I guess this happens a lot in Boston or in cold places when you park your car outside. The rats are cold. So they try to get into your car to buy the heat to warm up. and all of a sudden she was driving her car wasn't working and she took it in and they were like oh the rats ate all the wires she's like a beautiful car oh my god the my wife would literally have a heart my sister had a she like vomited oh unbelievable like a family of rats that eat through the stuff 71 rocks pretty damn that missed one nonetheless no I didn't I got it what did I miss community community the hell you talk about community community I don't have nothing community I don't know what you're talking about I don't have anything Community.
Starting point is 01:53:59 I don't understand what you're asking. Top Dog says, rocks, please tell me you've watched community. Oh, where is that? Oh, that one,
Starting point is 01:54:06 I didn't see that one. Okay, there it is. Which I, of course, have. There is another one here, too.
Starting point is 01:54:12 Top Dog Mets are Dodgers tonight, Christian. Go Mets. For sure. All right. Well, that one. Have I seen community?
Starting point is 01:54:21 Have I seen community? No, I never watched it. Yeah. It's a lot I missed. A lot I miss. All right, but I didn't miss being on the show here today.
Starting point is 01:54:29 with you we did it we made it another one Christian why are you paying attention to the people it's not happening yes it is go pal I went looking and maybe I just rewatched the rock okay yeah I went looking maybe I just rewatched wrong oh he went to look at real rejects and I guess they didn't cover it he just rewatched oh so maybe they didn't cover so that so no then I can't take you for that one you're gonna have to watch that's hysterical RQ support for Roxy there you go 74 rocks Thank you guys again.
