Starting point is 00:00:00 The NBA playoffs are here, and now you can trade every game on Cali. You can also trade on who wins each series, the conference finals, and the championship. San Antonio is currently trading at 22% to win it all, meaning a $100 trade pays out $455 if they take the title. On Calci, you're treating against other people in a live market, no house, no odds makers. And as the odds move, you can buy in or out any time throughout the post season. For a limited time, download the Calci app and use code hoops to get $10 when you trade $10. KLSHI, Calci, trade on anything. Sotomberg was pissed.
Starting point is 00:01:09 A lot of talking about this movie, though. Now with the new regime, could they bring it back? I'll discuss that. Some details on Spider-Man brand new day. Tom Cruise apparently wants Chloe's out for Mission Impossible Nine. Jacob Alluredy could have potentially do something in X-Men. and Mike Kalanowski loves AI. So we will discuss that.
Starting point is 00:01:38 We're supposed to have Mike and Steph. No Steph right now. So maybe it's just the me and Mike show. I might have misunderstood. I thought Steph was coming in today. So maybe she wasn't able to. I don't know. So right now, we'll get into it.
Starting point is 00:01:53 It's myself. And I don't know if there's anyone who loves AI more than Mike Kalinowski. We'll talk to him about that. So the most important question of the day, each and every day is what, guys? Did you shit in there? Welcome back to the show, ladies and gentlemen. It is Thursday. Now, normally on Tuesday, this guy's here.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Where is he? There he is. Perfect. This guy. Now, it's Thursday. No, Steph. I don't know where she is. That's some bullshit.
Starting point is 00:02:39 That's some. Because I have not been with Steph in months. I was looking forward to this. The Sierra all glowing glory. I know. I know. There's good news and bad news with that. What's that?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Bad news is that we don't get the reunion, right? The good news is that usually by yourself, at least for the last two or three times. Yeah. You're pushing into the 200s. I crush. I crush. You do?
Starting point is 00:03:03 Yeah. I want to wait a little bit to see if Steph is coming in. because normally she's pretty good at letting me. No, there she is. Okay, she's good. I don't know what the hell happened there, but she's here. Hold on. Let's get her in there.
Starting point is 00:03:17 This is the problem. What happened? My lighting is super weird today. I cannot figure it out. Well, we got the reunion. I'm so excited. Look at that face. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Look at that face. I just want to squeeze it. I want to squeeze it. Thank you. It's very good to see you, Mike. I've heard you've done some legendary things on the show. Yes. Epic.
Starting point is 00:03:39 kid epic um i will tell you why because i'm a dirt bag you are you're a scorpio that's what i told them yes yeah pretty much it is now mike up until yesterday i would say that mike had the premier appearance on this show out of anybody maybe ever but he's got competition now what happened um so let me ask you guys i'll say who do you think had the best performance i'll ask i'm going to ask the audience the audience is going to say it guys who was the star of the show yesterday watch watch the audience light up you're going to tell you my star of the show i should i be looking at the comments here you can look at the comment here you're going to see the channels for those people who were in on it and got it you're going to see in the in the comments just a little bit wednesday's like the
Starting point is 00:04:27 the the can be a random day right yeah look look see here come the name it'll see sid the squid Sid the squid. Okay, so a made-up character is beating us? It was not a made-up character. There's a real Sid the squid. I'm going to show you guys what happened because I know that the both of you, I know you too well, and I'm going to show your reaction because I, I replayed this showing you guys this clip in my head and could see Steph and Mike laughing at the same time.
Starting point is 00:04:58 All right, let me get my glasses on here. All right. So I'm going to play this clip. This is from yesterday's show. So I was in a bit of a mood yesterday. Okay. And so I was just in one of those moods firing off comments left and right. And then this thing happened.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Now, this is when I realized that people are speaking my love language because they have trolls playing pickleball in their head too. They get it. They understand. They're just embarrassed to talk about it in the same way that we opened up the floodgates when we started talking about adult. Hello? Yeah. I'm on the air right now, brother. Can you shut the door?
Starting point is 00:05:33 What's that? It's just my name, Christian Rolf. I love the door open. See, this is what happens. This is the kind of mood I'm in today, guys. No, not you. I'm talking to the camera. I'm talking to the audience.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Yeah, go ahead. Stick your face in there. Go ahead. Just right there. Just stick your, yeah, lean down. No, you got to put it in front of the camera. Look. Hey, see the one right there?
Starting point is 00:05:53 Look. See the one right there? No, you're not looking at. You're looking at my computer. Right here. Look. Oh, dude, look at my finger. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Look at my finger that way. Right there. Yeah, that's your face. Wait, come here, come here, come here. Hey, you know what? Say a little to the audience. What's your name? Here, come here. How about this?
Starting point is 00:06:09 Here, head. Use that microphone. All right. How's it going, guys? Lean down. How's it going? My name's Sid. Nice.
Starting point is 00:06:14 Just do B2B for Verizon. Nice. I actually do solar before. Hell yeah. I'm in school right now. Just, I love sales. I'm 19. 19?
Starting point is 00:06:21 Yep. Okay. Yeah, but. Yeah, lean down. So that way here. You know what? We're going to do. We're going to do an interview.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Sit out. Let's do it. Yeah, go. Sit on. You sit on my seat. Perfect. Go ahead. See, this is, this is, you weren't expecting this today. Where you?
Starting point is 00:06:34 There you go. How about that? Perfect. Sorry, give me your name again. Sid? I can't, I'm not set up for an interview today. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:06:42 That's good. So this is Sid. He's 19 years old. The brass balls on Sid that he comes in and I asked him to sit down. He doesn't know what the hell is going on. He doesn't know what we're talking about. And you caught me in a fucking mood today, Sid. I'm in a mood.
Starting point is 00:06:53 I am in a, in a, what's your name, brother? TJ. I got TJ. You got Sid. We were going to talk about Verizon and Paramount. We haven't talked about a goddamn thing about any of that stuff. We're just talking about nonsense today. And we got two great guests on Verizon.
Starting point is 00:07:07 And so I have Verizon. You're trying to upsell me? Oh, you guys have Verizon. I have Verizon. Perfect. How about for your phones right now? I got everything. I'm doing my job.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Sid, I'm so set up. I'm going to be set up for the rest of my life. I'm set up. That's cool. I like what you're doing. Sid, you're in school. You're at school. You're at school.
Starting point is 00:07:24 You're at school. I do school. It's full time. but I'm only in school, like one, two days a week. I'm switching fully online next day so I can focus more on work. Can they follow you on Twitter's or Instagram? Instagram is S-I-D-D-D-D. Show, show Sid what we're working with, guys.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Go and just do it again. Give me the-S-I-D-D-B-A-J. All right, perfect. Follow Sid and tell them you found out from the show. All right, Sid, I got to go back to work. I appreciate you so much. DJ, good to see you. All right, I lock my door, will you?
Starting point is 00:07:49 Absolutely. One time I don't lock the fucking door. So one time I don't lock the fucking door. I got two, but I got two important guests here today. it's just my name Christian Harloff K-R-I-S-T-I-N-H-R-A-R-A-S-T you're dead to me Sid K-R-I-ST that's my name see my name right there look at you see
Starting point is 00:08:06 no in the lower third that's my name oh right here yeah so I need two subscribe if I don't see two subscribers now I'm going to cancel Verizon and get your arm out of the way Sid you have great faith thank brother man thank you all right out thank you you you don't have to close that no no you don't have to close that
Starting point is 00:08:21 the main the main door just locked that one perfect and TJ. How about that guys? We have two guests. Crushing. Actually the most insane thing. The best he's like, what? Where?
Starting point is 00:08:40 Hi, guys. I'm like, Sid, what are you doing? No, my favorite part was he's like, yeah, I work for Verizon. I just love sales. Yeah. And that, no, how about, how about the, how about the, the moxie? Like, right away he knows, I go, I already have it. He's, what about for your cell phone? He's like, within
Starting point is 00:08:57 seconds. He's like, what about this? I was like, no, I got everything, Sid. Don't worry about it. But Sid was ready to go. Sid just sat down. Poor TJ was just standing in the hallway all the time. That was really good. I never leave my door open.
Starting point is 00:09:09 And yesterday I did, and we got Sid because of it. You, I don't know if it's that you've always been like this or I'm just seeing it more, but that was like the most New York I've ever seen you. Like you were nice to him, but you're also rude. You're like, get out of fucking, you're in the shot. It was so. It's what I think people love. I was just like, what are you doing, Sid?
Starting point is 00:09:36 I'm like, at first I'm like, I'm like, come on it. It's that kind of show. It's that kind of show. I talked about pickleball and trolls paying pickleball on my head yesterday. Yeah, the way it started. Yeah, other people have players playing pickleball in their head. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Steph, the whole show was like that. Oh, my God. The whole show was a, it was a thing. Wow, Sid's awesome. Did he subscribe? I don't know. I didn't go through it. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:10:02 I'm not sure, but Sid's a star. I like his hustle. He's 19 and got a hustle. 100%. Him and T.J. Good team. Right. So there you go.
Starting point is 00:10:13 So now Sid the squid, major star. I'm going to capitalize off of Sid and I'm going to start selling Sid the squid shirts. That's the problem. That's the problem. That's the problem. That's, that's the problem. You don't know where you're going to get. you should just put a door on the I love I love and say come in come in I'm like this is my
Starting point is 00:10:36 fucking this one not you said not you know the fucking right I'm like 100% I'm like this is what happens and I'm talking to the audience like oh you're live right now I'm like yeah I'm I'm live right now because he's walking in now I'm on the air guys and then he just did it was like because I have like a lobby out there it's not like it's not like you just walk into like you this used to be like a lawyer's office or something so like you know there's a lobby out there so it it would make sense that the door would be open but i never i never always have my door lock so yesterday i decided to keep it over for some reason and maybe it was because of it's i think it was destiny it was destiny yeah i think so to have sid he actually gives me hope in the younger
Starting point is 00:11:19 generation like he's at doing school he's working but he does have that like classic like i have no I can't like figure out what's happening right as it's happening. Right. 100%. And I don't really care if I'm messing up your life. No, no. But I like that he went with it. Same.
Starting point is 00:11:36 He just went with it. No, he's awesome. But I was telling Luke last night or today, I guess, rather, stuff. Like, I know Mike, Mike's read it too. That's pretty much my character. That guy that was interviewing Sid is my character before his ex-wife shows. Oh, yeah. That's pretty.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Pretty much. Totally. You're going to get that guy. All right. Let's, well, first of all, you guys, once again, Mike, now you leave on Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:12:03 Now you've got to go up against, uh, Roxy was so smart on Tuesday. See, you can never count Roxy out when it comes to this game of the questions. Because she always finds ways to, you know, get to be in the, in the conversation about being in the lead. So, because Roca was number one at 78. Okay. So we started talking about the Carano and Ronda Rousey fight. Yeah. For a bit.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And Roka was... You and Roka? Well, no. Roka was on Tuesday, me and Rokka. Not real? Yeah, they're fighting in May on Netflix. It's going to be a massive fight. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I've never watched. I mean, I haven't watched fights in a long time. I used to always watch them. I will absolutely watch that. I hope Ronda's like off the farm and in the stew getting work. Gina Crona, I said, and this is where the conversation on it, I think Gina Crono is going to knock her out in the first round.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Oh, my God. Do you? I will be so upset. I think she's going to knock her on the first run. And Roka was, because we had Sarah calling, Sarah was talking about it, but Roka calling, and he couldn't, we were going back and forth for a bit. But he was in the, he was in the chat.
Starting point is 00:13:23 and just losing his mind. Like, send me a link, send me a link. And Roxy goes, don't you know what? If we reach a certain point, then we'll send him the link. I go, good call. So we had to get, he was at 78, so she needed to get to 75 in order to send him the link. So he got to 80. But then when he was on, they started asking questions.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Right. He broke it to 105. All right, commendable. Okay. That's good. So she's currently sitting at 105, but you guys already have. 15 before we even really started talking about anything. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Which is interesting. But yeah, I think, I think the only reason I say that is because I think that skill-wise, they would have fought about 10 years ago. I think Rhonda would have won and maybe won easy. Right. But I think that once you get knocked out dramatically in the way that you do, I don't think she's mentally the type of fighter that's going to come back from it. I could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:14:18 And I don't. Yeah. And I think, yes, this is a longer conversation. conversation. But there's some things I saw because I pay attention unfortunately to Mike's Twitter because it blasts on my on my screen all the time. I think you said some things that were accurate and I think you said something so you just heard everybody else say and you said it because there's some things that you said on your Twitter that I don't want to get into. That's just not true.
Starting point is 00:14:42 About which topic? About Carrano and Rousey. You said something about Corona. I was like that's that's something you just heard in the in the vacuum and said because it's not it's not true. We'll talk about it off air. But anyway, so let's get into, but, you know, staying on topic that we can segue into it. With Carano, you know, I don't think it was a coincidence. The Manilurian Grogu trailer dropped that day.
Starting point is 00:15:10 Yeah. And then they dropped the announcement that that fight is dropping. I don't think that's coincidence. Plus the fact that Rousey and Carano are going to air a week before the movie comes out, also don't think that's a coincidence. But real quick, did you guys see the trailer for Mando and Grogo? Yes. What did you think, Steph?
Starting point is 00:15:30 I thought it looked really fun. Yeah, I liked a lot of the shots. Keep going. Keep going. I liked a lot of the, I feel like we got like Mando season two shots, like coming through the doorway, getting busy. There's obviously like the cute Grogu moments that are happening. I feel like they, I love them. I feel like they have to do that.
Starting point is 00:15:53 And, yeah, there's a lot of cool characters like Zeb being introduced live action. That's awesome. There was one more bounty hunter. I forget. Zeb was also, he was in, I think he made a brief cameo in, what the hell was it? Was it Assoca? I thought it was Andor. No, it wasn't Andor.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Maybe Asoka. In Mandalorian season three. There was a bar he was in. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was in the bar for a second. It was good to see him. So it looked like, it looked fun. I don't know if they'll get,
Starting point is 00:16:24 they might get like the new audience if they have little kids old enough to like go to the theater and just be like, who cares just stick me in the middle of the story. But I feel it is really for like the people who have watched the three seasons of Mandelor. You know what's so funny. I'm so glad that you said that because clearly,
Starting point is 00:16:40 if anybody watches this show, they know. Steph is probably the most positive person in a, and that's a super compliment. And it's always looking for the good and things, right? So when she says that, she's talking about, I think that this is really geared towards the people who watch that show. So I put a post out this morning on my Instagram and I said, I don't think there's a lot of excitement with this movie. If you're a major fan of the show itself and of Grogu, that I think you are excited about it, right?
Starting point is 00:17:11 So most people on it were pretty, we're, we're, you know, okay, back and for there of certain conversations about it that were, that were agreed, disagreed, kind of, we just had that type of conversation, but it wasn't anything too nuts. But there was one comment. And it's like, this is what I always talk about when it comes to the extreme love and extreme hate. So if you hear my thoughts on the trailer,
Starting point is 00:17:40 I say exactly what I just said. I don't think there's excitement, but I do think that the people who really want to see Mando and really do want to see Grogu will go see this movie. But I think it's really Starfighter. that's going to dictate where the plan goes for Lucasville, which is a fair statement, right? There's no negativity in there.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Would you say, Steph? Yeah. Okay. So here's this comment. Generally, you don't know how you can go on social media and see the amount of people who said the trailer did it for them and go, well, the fans aren't excited, while how you're still trying to push negativity onto Star Wars.
Starting point is 00:18:13 That is a fan who just can't realize that not everybody is going to, I love everything. I love everything. If you love Star Wars and you love Mando and Gros, I literally say in the beginning of that, this is for you. They're gearing this towards you. So you basically just agreed with me. You said that, oh, you see everybody who's excited for it, said they're excited for it. Right. The people who love the movie, I'm saying the general, general excitement,
Starting point is 00:18:42 the way that Star Wars used to get people pumped, not there. Right? Yeah. I mean, it's the. after three seasons of a show, I feel like that's just the logical. Yeah. I don't know what they, like,
Starting point is 00:18:56 do they think every Star Wars fan who's watched the original trilogy watched three seasons of Mandalorian? It's like, not sure. And look, to their credit, they were,
Starting point is 00:19:05 they're like, their whole profile is, I'm obsessed with Star Wars. It's amazing. Yeah. It's amazing and good. And I don't ever shit on anybody for it. What I'm saying is,
Starting point is 00:19:16 you cannot look at this movie and compare it to the fever pitch that was the Force Awakens and say that we're there. We're not. And that's what Star Wars used to do. Yeah. I don't know if the movie's going to be good. I like the trailer. I thought that the trailer,
Starting point is 00:19:32 the trailer established tone, which I thought was important. Mike, we had a big conversation about it. What did you think about the trailer itself? Well, I'll be honest with you. I haven't watched it yet. You have not watched it. I haven't watched it because that goes to show you.
Starting point is 00:19:48 So I was on vacation for a week, so I kind of tried to stay off of social media and everything. But I knew the trailer dropped. And then when I was on social media that day, I didn't see anyone talking about it. No one. I didn't see variety posting. Hey, big new Star Wars trailer dropped. I didn't see. You saw more about the Corona and Rousey fight.
Starting point is 00:20:10 No, it was something else happened that day. Maybe it was the Olympics. I saw more about that. But it was like, it did not. dominate the news cycle like a Star Wars trailer would and so that to me was that that to me was more telling than anything right that's fair point i don't and i didn't see i don't see like the breakdowns of the trailer and people like five you know five hour video of us breaking down the trailer which everyone used to do for every other star wars trailer i mean there certainly are people like yes you're
Starting point is 00:20:39 100% right and there certainly are people that are doing that and god bless them for doing it and it's just but it's not like you're right though but it wasn't like how like when those everybody was like looking for those types of videos we're like oh what does that mean what does that mean the excitement just isn't there for it I think the excitement is more that's why that's why i had such a major prediction for doomsday because i think doomsday is going to get that kind of excitement because someone's in the chat like what movies do that right now and the answer is not a lot um but doomsday might start to do that i think i think doomsday is going to get that mediumsday will not because of i can't wait to see this story it's i can't wait to see these characters that are coming back
Starting point is 00:21:17 Maybe both. Yeah. Maybe both. Depends on the trailers themselves, but I don't disagree with that. But either way, I said I was pushing towards that, the Starfighter was the one, is what I said in this post. It was the starfighter was the one that is really going to determine, okay, our plans working, as a successful, let's move forward. Or, uh-oh, we're in trouble here. But they were going to do a movie with Ben Solo.
Starting point is 00:21:44 that didn't happen. Kathleen Kennedy made it seem like Eiger put the squash on it, right? Well, both Kathleen Kennedy and Eiger are not going to be there anymore. So Steven Soderberg was talking about it because he was the only one we really didn't hear from when this report came out. So he's speaking about it now. Uh-huh. And let me present it. Give me a moment.
Starting point is 00:22:14 It's got to get this story up there. Okay, there it is. All right. So we have Sottenberg. This is the same. Luke, if you're in here, switch my picture. I hate it. I hate it so much.
Starting point is 00:22:36 I hate it so much. Sotterberg on scrap Ben Solo frustration. Last year came news about the Sottenberg rejected the hunt for Ben Solo film, the filmmaker along with actor Adam Driver and Rebecca Blount teamed up to develop a film that would have taken place after the events of Rises Skywalker and followed Ben Solo slash Kylo-Rae Rann. However, it was revealed that Disney's top brass Eiger and Bergman rejected it despite everyone at Lucasfilm being pleased with the project. Now, during a recent interview with BK. Mag, Soderberg spoke out about how he shared
Starting point is 00:23:08 Kennedy's disappointment over the cancellation of the project, which he, Driver, and Blunt spent a long time working. It was no surprise that Kathleen was frustrated. We were all frustrated. You know, that was two and a half years of free work for me and Adam and Rebecca Blunt. When Adam and I discussed him talking about it publicly, I said, look, do not editorialize or speculate about the why. Just say what happened because all we know is what happened. The stated reason was we don't think Ben Solo could be alive.
Starting point is 00:23:34 And that was all we were told. And there's nothing to do about it, you know, except move on. And as I posted, I kind of made the movie in my head, and I just felt bad that nobody else was going to see it. I thought the conversation was strictly going to be a practical one, where they go, what is this going to cost? And I had a really good answer for that, but it never got to that point since saying we're all very disappointed. Since the cancel movie was revealed, fans have been rallying to convince the studio to reconsider moving forward with the project. So far, no movement. So I saw a rumor that one of the things that they're planning on doing
Starting point is 00:24:08 in celebration or whatever is to, this is nothing that I've heard. I'm just saying the rumor that I, that I saw floating around is that they're still going to go with this movie. The solo movie. Yeah. So, Steph, let me ask you two questions here. The first is with Iger stepping down, new dude in charge, with the public kind of rallying behind this. Question one, do you think that this movie could actually get announced? Question two, should it?
Starting point is 00:24:41 I was muted. I do think it could get announced. I think they are trying to change house right now and get a new energy going for Star Wars. Do I think that this is the energy that they need to do? No, and I say that kind of reluctantly because it makes me excited that Sotaberg was excited about it. I like a lot of his films. I black bagged the most recent one I thought was awesome. I think that sort of spin.
Starting point is 00:25:14 And the fact that him and they, and Adam Driver were both really excited about it for two years does make me think that it was probably a very good story and yeah anything with Adam Driver is exciting but I just am why I say no is just because I really feel like they need to move forward and move away from the characters that we've seen before and I know not everyone agrees with that like so I still see comments that are like oh Skywalker's aren't in it I'm not watching it's like
Starting point is 00:25:47 So there is a camp of people that are like, Star Wars should just be Skywalker. Well, and Daisy Ridley's coming back. Right. Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's cool. I think Daisy Ridley makes a little more sense because she progresses the future. But who does she play? Ray.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Ray, who? Ray who? It's the best line in the trilogy. The best line. Yeah. So I think it's just different because I, agree that the character of Ben is interesting and there's probably more to tell there. But I feel like what they gave us, it will do again what they did with like, in a different way with like Palpatine or a different character where it's like you just like made these circumstances.
Starting point is 00:26:32 So this character comes back. And just because they're a really interesting character doesn't mean that we should bring them back. And had this been in the past when they kind of were still in this section of doing this, I'd be like, oh yeah, so do it. But now it's like just I think you guys need to move into a new generation. Yeah. I mean, so I happen to agree with a lot of that, Mike. And I think that one of the arguments against it, which is really not my argument, but just one of the arguments that could be against it was, okay, if you spent two years,
Starting point is 00:27:06 first of all, I don't understand why they spent two years unpaid where, what world do they sign up Sotomberg and go, yeah, you know what, work on this. Let's keep working on it. it's good we're good to go just kidding it's like it's like one of the zooten you never had the keys to the car why'd you tell me we were going to Vegas we didn't have the keys you know and so um i don't understand that but if they spent two years of work on it it's something where he's like he knows the movie so if you already knows the movie and driver is available do you think that maybe because there is a lot of people are seeming to want this that maybe they they because they
Starting point is 00:27:45 listen a lot of the times and go well we should be moving on and trying original things they get nervous and especially if sotaburg and your belt is available what do you think oh i don't know man like so it's the hunt for ben solo who's doing the hunting you know that's another question um because you're not bringing you're not bringing the parents back they're not going to be around so i i mean if they had a story they clearly went in with that story, but this seems to me more like a lot of the time when they were just pitching everybody, director, they had an idea coming and develop stuff,
Starting point is 00:28:21 you know, and do, I don't know, man. Star Wars is, I don't envy the new guy coming in. Because where do you go? And it seems like Starfire, we talk about that being the kind of linchpin of what's going to be the future of Star Wars, but that's an old regime movie now, you know. And when studio heads change,
Starting point is 00:28:43 you know, there could be a change. I mean, the movie's done. It's going to come out. That's not the question. But I think what this guy's got going for him is that he's not in the difference of like him and Chepec, right? Like, Chepec was not a creative, but made bad creative decisions and ideas and forced creators to do certain things. And it's like, that's not what you do.
Starting point is 00:29:05 From what everyone says about the new guy is that he's not a creative, but he lets creative, like, do their thing. Right. And that is, that's okay. That's a good executive, in my opinion, if you can do that. So my opinion on it has not changed from the beginning. I agree with everything Steph said when it comes to Soderberg, right? Like you have Soderberg, give him something to do. If Star Wars, if he wants to do it, if he's not, if he's not tainted by this experience.
Starting point is 00:29:31 But I'm with Iger on this one. He's dead. Let him die. He's dead. We don't need a Ben Sola movie. I couldn't believe how many people want to. this movie just because Adam Driver, the big movie star, and Soderberg, the great director, wanted to do it. I thought it was crazy. I'm like, this is such a lazy idea, but it's Soderberg,
Starting point is 00:29:53 so it's probably a good movie. But then the problem is, when you have that and you look at all that, it's like, well, then wait, I think it becomes more of a problem for Filoni because of, okay, well, he's alive then. Then what does that mean for the future of the Kinberg trilogy, or is he around during the time of Starfighter and it gets so confusing. I think it's incredibly, I couldn't believe how much support there was for the movie. I couldn't believe it. I was like, it literally, first of all, they should, if they were going to, they should have never turned him good.
Starting point is 00:30:27 That would have been a problem then we wouldn't even have this movie. But they did. And now they're like, oh, it's Ben Solo and he should be, because everyone liked him the best. They dropped the ball and how they handled it. That's it. You move on. It is, I couldn't believe that people. really wanted that movie.
Starting point is 00:30:43 That's one of the movies. If you put like five movies up there, it would probably be the number five one that I want to see the most, regardless of who was directing it. Yeah, I think it kind of shows that there's a lot of Star Wars fans that are just like desperate for good Star Wars characters and good Star Wars content and are so willing to kind of be like,
Starting point is 00:31:09 just like roll over the sequel. and do whatever you, I mean, like, we don't care. I don't know. To me, it just kind of seems like people don't care how it ended. They're ready to retcon it if it means like bringing back certain characters. But also it kind of shows me that there's like not a lot of hope in the sense that they can introduce new characters. So they're like, I just want Star Wars content. And if that means bringing back Ben Solo somehow, that's better than nothing.
Starting point is 00:31:38 I do think there's a big group that are like, okay, it's so to. And that's a hundred percent. But like, yeah. Yeah. But for me, I'm like, I still, because of something like Andor, I'm like, there's something, even though that was going back, it's like there are creators that are so talented that are going to be able to tell different stories within this universe. And we should just do that.
Starting point is 00:32:00 It's a great point because Mike, if, if like you bowl was going to do a movie with Adam Driver and as kind of people, please know. But it's because Soderberg wants to do it with driver. people are like, oh my God, what would that be like? What would that be like? Yeah. Now, I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see a Soderberg movie in Star Wars. I mean, it would be great if he's really like, what does his vision look like as far as Star Wars goes?
Starting point is 00:32:27 And I also wouldn't say that it would probably be a really good movie, The Hunt for Vent Solo. It probably really good. But it just causes too many problems. Plus, they're like, like, I think Steph nailed it where it's like, they just want to get people to like that era at one point. We got to figure out a way that they like it. Well, here's the thing. Let it go.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Yeah. And I agree because, like, I think Disney knows that because look at what they did with Galaxy's Edge. Like, that was the sequel trilogy. That's what he was geared towards. And now they've made that, even announced a major overall, like, it's not that anymore.
Starting point is 00:33:06 We are, slowly they started bringing in the old characters. And it was like, well, hears this, but now I hear it's like a whole rebranding and it's going to be... Bringing back the original trilogy, yeah. Yeah, so I think they know it didn't work the way they wanted it to. And again, I know there are millions of millions
Starting point is 00:33:21 people that love that. Sure. And for them, those are going to be their Star Wars movies. But you're not the only people that Disney needs to get to watch these movies. Truth. Yeah. Well, what do you guys make of it?
Starting point is 00:33:35 Do you think they should do this movie? Do you disagree with us? Do you think that it should be something that they really focus on? And will it happen? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know. All right. Before we move on, I got to tell you guys about Square.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Tell you about our friends over at Lisa. And then we'll be right back. Thank you to Square. And thank you to our friends over at Lisa. The link is in the description for both. As I've said, many times over. If you want to support the show and you like this show, get something for yourself. Get our wonderful friends today.
Starting point is 00:34:08 put the links in the description going check it out all right you know there was a um trailer for toy story five that just dropped oh yeah okay then do reaction to it yeah all right whatever you want do thank you baby uh let's go and let's see if i can find this thing i think i have it all right here it is got it nope of course not uh trouble sharing your video let me see if I can do it real quick. I'm going to try. I'm going to delete this. Hey, Steph. Hey. How's your heartburn? It's on and off. It's on and I've, it's like lemon water gives me heartburn now. So you saw your video was. Um, TikTok of me spiraling. Yeah. Like earlier, uh, earlier first trimester. Yeah, that was like the craziest time of my life. And none of you guys could I couldn't even tell you guys.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I know. I know. I wish I'm like, I want to like go back in time. Like, oh, you should talk to Sadie. She can give you some tips. Right. All right. Let me try this. One more. I'm going to try two things. Here's, we're going to try two things. And if it doesn't work, then I'm not doing it. So here we go. Try one more time. Last time here. Let's see. Okay. Cooking with gas. All right. It looks like it's worth. That looks like it worked. So we'll check. But sometimes streamer does dumb things and it won't let you listen to it. And you guys. So if you can't hear it, then we're not going to do it. I don't give a shit. I'm going to the next story.
Starting point is 00:35:48 So, yeah, anyway, right now as we wait for Toy Story, we've got 23 questions. This is pretty damn good. 23? No, it's not bad. Considering, you know, you still got about 20 minutes left before we even get to the questions. I think that's good. How are you doing, Steph? Are you feeling good?
Starting point is 00:36:07 Oh, yeah. The second trimester has been, the only thing is I get mild heartburn, but if I stick to the script, I'm safe. If I try anything new or fun, I'm screwed. Fair. Fair enough. That's it. Now, I think that, unfortunately, when I play this, can I play this without? Do you forky to Karen Bebra? No.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I could hear that. I know, but the problem is that we can't see our faces. Oh, right, right, right. trailer itself. I see. I see. So, unless Luke can figure out a way for us to do this, I mean, I guess that there's a way to do it.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Let me try one last thing. This actually might work. This might work. I'm trying, I'm thinking on my feet. Story of your life. I know. It is true. Okay, let's try this now, too. I'm going to go to the news story. I'm going to bring,
Starting point is 00:37:02 actually, you know, I'll do a free shot. I'll bring all of us here. then I'm going to share it one more time. See if this works. Okay, you guys seeing that? Yeah. All right, all right. Let's see if you can, tell me if you can hear it.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Let's see. Nope. Forget it. No choice 35 today. Sorry, guys. I have no patience. So we'll figure it. Unless Luke can figure out a way to make it work, but otherwise, nope.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Okay. So let's get to this other topic. and this is something that I wanted to discuss with you guys because I don't, Mike's been going, Mike usually just goes after everybody on Twitter, but he's really been going after AI people lately. Let me tell you something. Hold on. Let's, let's read this story first. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:37:57 And then you can, this is, I'm going to give you, I'm going to give you a softball to, to lose your mind. So here, here is the story. Netflix studios, Mike's, probably very happy about this. Netflix studios take aim at C-Dance, and it's not just Netflix. A bunch of studios are going after this. Here we go. Okay, Netflix is the latest to join several studios condemning the Chinese company Bite Dance over its Seedance 2.0 AI service for enabling copyright infringement. Netflix sent a cease and desist letter demanding that the Chinese company removed Netflix's intellectual properties, including the likes of Stranger Things and Bridgeton
Starting point is 00:38:34 from training datasets to establish guardrails to prevent. prevent further infringement. In a statement, Netflix director of litigation, Mindy LeMoyne says Seedance acts as a high-speed piracy engine. It follows on from similar steps by Disney Paramount Warner Brothers, who have each accused the company of stealing its most valuable IP. At least last week, the new AI model came to attention with a short clip of a fight between Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise. Unlike past models, a new one is able to blend video and audio relatively seamlessly. AI was quickly denounced after released by the MPA for copyright infringement with studios quickly following suit and sending cease and desist letters. The Netflix one, however, is the first to explicitly threaten litigation.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Byte-Dan said on Monday that it would impose additional guardrails to prevent unauthorized uses of copyrights and actors like this by CDANs users. Okay, Mike. Go nuts. Yeah. So you really have been like the Punisher going after people who use AI on Twitter. go ahead go for i'm glad you noticed so one thing i've noticed maybe this is going to be the hill i'm going to die on uh i i i now do three things on twitter these like superhero stuff dc specifically politics and now i i get more followers and interactivity with ai than anything else i've ever
Starting point is 00:39:57 talked about on social media i think and again this is it's it's it's People, the whole, it's inevitable thing. I don't, I can't stand that. I think AI, let me start with saying, I think it's useful. I think we should be curing cancer and finding ways to solve the homeless problem, not having Wolverine fuck the Terminator. And the fact that- Thank you for using your clothes that, I meant him.
Starting point is 00:40:25 The fact that people, I get into fights with people, they're like, we can do it. I go, you don't own the rights to Tom Cruise to make him do anything you want to do. I saw a video. It was it was a box cover for a DVD called Cissert Mountain. It was Anna Diarmus and Cindy Sweeney as broke back mountain with the cowboy. And they turned and started making out. Like, fuck you for you thinking you can do that to someone's. Like, think about politicians.
Starting point is 00:40:51 So Mike got mad. He pulled up his pants and then he tweeted out about it. Now, like, think about what's going to happen with politicians and what we're going to be, you know, dealing with. And for me, part of me is like the studios waited too long. This should have been that Will Smith video from eating spaghetti two years ago, the studio should have been going on it back then. Like this is out of control. And in the fact that how much RAM it uses and like I was reading this article,
Starting point is 00:41:20 like the PlayStation 6 is going to be delayed years. And like the cost is going to be ridiculous because the RAM to buy is insane because all this AI has been used for RAM. we need the RAM, the memory card, the memory chips or whatever. Like, I believe that AI has a place. It should be making our lives better. And then these assholes that are like, Hollywood's cooked. Hollywood's cooked.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Because some asshole can make two Jackman and, you know, like an Optimist Prime, have an orgy. Like, who wants to watch that? Like, and again, there are people. It's all the internet. They're clicking on it. I don't click on any of those videos because it's shit. and you didn't create anything.
Starting point is 00:42:03 None of that would exist without the people that actually put the work in. And like, oh, we're going to see generations of new Spielbergs because of this. It's like, you have to have the talent to do it.
Starting point is 00:42:14 And then I got into this with the asshole about like, think of a director. He'd love to do this. He doesn't have to deal with people. This is like, you clearly have never been an actor or creative in any capacity
Starting point is 00:42:24 because being together and creating on set and finding problems and solving them. That's what makes, a movie or a TV show where why people celebrate and love it. It's like not typing on a computer. I think there's going to be a place for both.
Starting point is 00:42:39 I don't disagree that the copyright infringement is like anything. It's like there's a reason why Winter Brothers doesn't put Deadpool fighting Batman. They're not allowed to. But here's the thing. Like
Starting point is 00:42:53 people will make their own. But then you've got, and my everything, these things catch on is because it is Spider-Man. It's like If you've got some Jimmy Chu in his office, someone's like, here's arachnid lad fighting. Great man. No one's in a while. Like, okay, this is a big shit. It would.
Starting point is 00:43:11 It would have great man was then played by, you know, Paul Rudd or something. Right. But yes. But no, I think that that's kind of one of the things. For me, and we talked about this in great length the other days, I think what it allows certain people to do. I think was it, was it me and you, Steph? I think it was.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Yeah. Yeah. It was me and Steph. What it will allow people to do is for those people who want to see their things come a lot and want to see things that they're able to do that aren't able to move to L.A., put in the work, do those things. And they have the tools to say, okay, you know what? I've had this idea for a very long time.
Starting point is 00:43:49 I've wanted to see this. And I can make this, right? That's what it's going to allow some people to do. There's also going to be times, like, because I'll tell you this, and I hate to say this, but I and Luke and I were going over this I feel eventually when they get this program to a place where it's perfect animation is going to be a lot easier to do and sequels and other things are going to be a lot easier to do because anime because when you look right now at the out of the two if you compare the two of them
Starting point is 00:44:20 you put Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise together or Bourne versus you know Ethan Hunt it's cool to watch but it looks like a, like this looks like a really highly elevated video game. Like it looks like a great cutscene in a video game. You can still say that's not exactly real and it sounds, and it sounds a lot better than it used to. But animation stuff,
Starting point is 00:44:44 remember when we said somebody make a five-minute thing for donkeys in space, you couldn't tell that that wasn't real animation. And I think that eventually they're going to do, and people are like, well, why would anyone want that? you're not going to tell the difference. You can tell the difference in AI with live action. You can tell. I don't think you can be able to tell the difference in animated.
Starting point is 00:45:07 And you can also replace the animated voices that they come up with in the AI. And you can replace them with real actors. I think the animation itself is going to be replaced or not replaced, but they're going to use it a lot more, even for certain, even if they make a full animated movie. And then they're like, oh, you know what? We need a whole sequence. Like, well, we can try to do it in.
Starting point is 00:45:29 that program, it's going to happen more and more. I know Steph's head is spinning as we say this, but it'll probably, do you agree that that probably will happen whether it should or shouldn't? Yeah, I do think it probably will happen. I think that what people are, and Mike mentioned it a little bit, like gravely underestimating is the effect on climate that this is going to have. And if there's actually resources to do this for more than, like a few years. Like they're already seeing huge effects in the in the cities that they have
Starting point is 00:46:06 these you know the the networks working on and they're losing their water and it's becoming polluted and and I don't think that's getting talked about obviously because it's not like fun to hear about and people like really seem to like not care about climate change that much until it's actually in your own city. But seemingly all the research is pointing to like we do not have the enough to sustain this. So like let's say like everybody in their homes was like I'm going to create my own movie. Regardless like whatever I don't want to get into like I saw some people were kind of like mad at me for saying like I don't feel like I feel like if you were doing like a storyboard, sure. But if you're like I deserve to make my own movie because this technology exists, so I'm
Starting point is 00:46:51 going to do it. And not even like weighing out the price of what that means for like the creative industry in general, but also the environment. To me, that's like where I morally can draw the line. But I do think that there's going to be, instead of using it to things like health and wellness and like elongating the human life and bettering the human life, we're going to use all the resources on creativity, which like creativity in its essence is a human made product. So I just don't think it's going to exist for long, but I do think it's going to happen. I think it's going to happen also. What do you think, and Mike, do you think that with animation, you could see? I don't know if you, even if you've been scrolling through and I don't click on
Starting point is 00:47:36 them, but you've seen like the animated side of it. It's like it's, that's harder to tell the difference. It is. Like I was talking to someone about this. Like, anytime we'll see an AI actor, we will know it's not real because we know that actor didn't film it. So it takes you out of it instantly. Animation is different. But like, it's, this thing where like, oh, it levels the playing field for something. You know, people will be able to do this in the gatekeeping that the gatekeepers
Starting point is 00:48:02 of Hollywood have kept us back for so long. And I respond with, no, this little thing right here makes movies that people have shown in studios, in theaters. You just haven't done it because you're lazy and you're not creative. You can film, did you see that short of the girl she did like this thing in space, like it's in her apartment.
Starting point is 00:48:22 That's just that. I understand. the road that you're going on with that and for the majority of what I agree with it, but it's not, it's not just the laziness also, it's also, regardless of you're using your phone or not, things cost money. Sure, but here's the thing. That's the route to say that you don't have to do money.
Starting point is 00:48:38 I watch the Winter Olympics. I love Olympics. I love the ski. I'm not an Olympic skier. Now, could I go to a skiing ramp? One of those things that shoot people and go down it? Sure. And I'll kill myself. but I don't have the talent
Starting point is 00:48:55 to make it something that should be done. So these people like Step said, like, I'm going to make a movie. And it's going to be shit. Your friends and family are going to watch it, but you just destroyed how much of water to do it and the environment to do it.
Starting point is 00:49:10 And then you're not going to talk about it ever again. Well, I made a movie once two years ago. Yeah. You know, like, it's fun now because people do these 30-second clips, but like, like, I see, I could see it being, used if a filmmaker wanted to make,
Starting point is 00:49:25 you know how they do, it started it with storyboards, then it became animatics. And now sometimes they'll film, like, very, um, they call it pre-vis. Like, I could see it being used for that, like a director going, this is what I want to see, can you, you know, and then they make it.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Where it's a tool, but just random Joe Schmo, like, the biggest thing to me too is, is like, especially when it comes to writing. People, you know, oh, five years from now, there's going to be these movies I go, well, AI's been able to do text for years now. No AI written book is destroying the New York Times bestseller list.
Starting point is 00:50:01 We haven't had a studio bidding war on the best script that was AI generated yet. And it's been years that they can do text. So it's not, you know, if you want to write a book, you're typing prompts to do it. Write the damn book anyway. Are you just cutting to the lazy part because you don't want to do the actual work? I mean, this is my old man on a hill screaming, but it's the hill I'll probably die on. I don't know if it's an old man on the hill thing as much as I've said many times too, because as I hear you, I agree with 98% of what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:50:34 I think that it's it's a generational thing for sure. I think that I'm, I just feel eventually the generations that are putting up the big, you know, push against it. The loudest push is our generation. That seems to be like I see you. I see Drew McQueenie. I see all these people out there with the loudest voices. And the stat was also that Gen Z is actually pretty against it too. But as I said, with the example of when you grow up with digital music and you didn't even know what a CD was, you don't miss the CD.
Starting point is 00:51:14 I get you. And I think that that's what's going to happen to these kids that are, they're not going to know anything. They're going to be born into AI. I mean, you're 100% right. It's like I see a lot of people nowadays, like, for me as an actor, I can't stand self-tapes. I hate them. Right. But there's an entire generation of actors that are starting acting.
Starting point is 00:51:32 That's what they do. Yeah. So if they had to go into a room, they'd be like, what? No, I don't want to go into a room and meet the person. Yeah. It's just, it's changing. And, you know, it is what it is, man. So.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Yeah. I know. As far as the overall conversation, though, where the stem, from was the copyright side of it. I don't mean there's a single person on this panel or even in the chat. You can't just use whoever's IP that you want because you can make them do these other things. I mean, there's certain things that, you know, characters are just, Muppets aren't able to do.
Starting point is 00:52:06 You can put a Muppet. I remember them being on some, when they were making the movie for Disney, well, you can't have them do this. You can't have a shit. When we're talking about Alf, can't have Alf to do this. You got to treat him like he's a real person. Like all these different things that come with owning the IP. If you want to just do whatever the hell you want to do,
Starting point is 00:52:23 like here's the game of Thrones ending that should have happened. And I saw that floating around on the internet and all these things. That's going to happen. And this is the shit version of it. If you don't regulate what people are allowed to do, like SORO regulated it. But the problem also is this. Disney's a little bit. in a bind, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:52:50 I know. I know you're saying. Disney says, hey, we're doing this whole thing. Fans can use our IPs and submit it. Yeah. You know, and it's like, they messed up. They're advocating for it, but they're like, oh, no, but you use our stuff. And it's like, there's got to be a balance to it.
Starting point is 00:53:07 And eventually others, when there's success behind it, other studios will start doing it too. Well, it's interesting because I saw AI and YouTube. went after and just canceled a guy's channel that I created this and it was like Palpatine playing a saxophone like stupid shit and he was whining because YouTube just just just deleted his channel and I was like good good you didn't have any you didn't create anything because you don't have the right to make me
Starting point is 00:53:35 a McDermid do that you can't let me let me be a devil's advocate on that okay so if you're able to dress someone up in a Palpatine outfit. Yeah. Can't monetize it. Right. You can dress them up in an outfit. Sound just like them. Look just like them.
Starting point is 00:53:57 Shoot. And do it. This is a fan-made film. Right. And they're not pulling your channel then. What's what's the difference? I think because, well, I don't know the answer to it. I'm just, I don't know legally, but you are not the actor. That's what I mean, legally. You're not the actor. You're not making someone do something that they did not want to do. It's more about the rights of the actual actor themselves saying this is not Ian McDermin. Right. It's clearly Ian McDurman.
Starting point is 00:54:22 And again, there's a distinguishing. I think there is that between what's called, you know, parody law is there. And that's a whole other thing. Well, this is a parody. I'm using this actor, but he's a parody. And it's just like, I don't know. I have no idea, but I know, I feel the studios are a little bit late to the thing about it. But Disney is in a bind.
Starting point is 00:54:42 That's going to be a big problem. definitely not hearing the end of this story. There's going to be a lot of AI conversations continue going on as the business continues to change. So what are your thoughts on it? Please put your thoughts in there. Let us know. Okay. So we have a couple more stories that we can discuss here today.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Let's do, hmm, hmm. How about we do an X-Men story? Sure. Why not? We'll do an X-Men story. We'll do one of the now guys, maybe the now guy, the number one movie out there is Jacob Allorty. So Jacob Allorty is now rumored for another X-Men role. Who is it?
Starting point is 00:55:35 I'm going to tell you. So he's rumored for X-Men reboot following the bogus James Bond claims. It looks like, Mike, who's that guy that the other guy that they keep rumoring for Bond? Calib or Calim. But I think that guy's getting it because I had heard this alluredy rumor about Bond for a couple days, but I didn't post on it because I was like, I don't know about this.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Did you see the response from Callum when they asked him about it? The kind of, was it the one where his co-star chimed in then? It was just kind of like a no comment type of thing. Yeah, I kind of feel he's it. I think so too. I think so too. Okay, well, so Lorty is rumored for the X-Men reboot following that bogus James Bond claim the X-Men reboot casting rumor claims that Jacob Lorde is being eyed for a role in the upcoming Marvel Studios movie held by Jake Schreier. In the post-Avanger Secret M.C.U. The X-Men will certainly be Marvel Studios' biggest priority, introducing the team the current
Starting point is 00:56:37 franchise is easier so than done, giving that the rights of the characters only returned home in 2019. We've seen the old mutant like Namor and Ms. Marvel show up, but a softly rebooted MCU will make it much easier to put the X-Men front and center. That's going to give us an MCU with the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Men all existing within the same space. It's an existing prospect. Sorry, it's an exciting prospect. And one, we anticipate being a game charger, changer. I can't say shit for Marvel's Mary Mutants. While the 20th Century Fox era X-Men will return in Doomsday work on the reboot is already underway.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Thunderbolt's director Jake Schreier is set to helm the movie while Michael Leslie known for The Hunger Games, Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, tap to write the screenplay in 2024. There's been a few casting rumors, none of which seem that much merit. The latest comes from My Time to Shine. Hello? Who reports that Jacob Allard is also very high in the Marvel's list for an X-Men role? The actor stars on the rise, yada, yada, yada, occurs.
Starting point is 00:57:38 At 28, he's not necessarily too old to play a member, but Mr. Sinister would be even more intriguing role for the actor. Okay, so I'm going to start with this right away. He's on the top of their list. Yep. No shit. It's on the top of everybody's list. No disrespect to my shine, my time to shine a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:58:02 But when I hear a statement like that, it's on the top of everybody's list. He's the number one guy right now. Of course he's the top of somebody's list. It's not, he's on the list and it's had serious conversations and he's gone in there and they're really considering him for a roll. He's on the top of the list. When you make a list, I have someone's on the top. I have somebody on the top. Jacob Allorty is on the top of my list for my show.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Does he mean he's going to do it? No. He's on my list. Why? This is Jacob Allorty. I'm not going to get him. It's not that X-Men couldn't get him. But I'm just saying, of course he's on.
Starting point is 00:58:36 Don't be negative. Don't be negative. That's right. What do you think, Steph? Do you think he's anywhere close? Or he's just on the list. Like anywhere close to actually this being real? Yes.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Maybe, maybe. But I do think, yeah, of course he's on the list. I mean, he's like 6'4, 6.5 or something. He looks like he could play an X-Men that feels like, I feel like people are trying to put him in anywhere. I think more of the question is like he seems like kind of an actor that is going down this. Timothy Shalameh route where they're like very selective about the movies they're doing and want to do a lot of serious movies and kind of care about being taken seriously as an actor. Not that like you can't as an X-Men. We've obviously seen a lot of great actors come out of Marvel. But since Marvel is in the place that it is in right now, I'm curious like if it needs like a few more movies for that decision or like I don't know where they are with the X-Men and casting new. X-Men, but I feel like, of course, he's on the list.
Starting point is 00:59:43 It's more like, will it make sense for him moving forward whenever it comes? I like the idea of him playing a villain. And I think that, you know, he's, he's done the thing where he's been able to, his name, he's starting to just become the up and up guy. A big franchise like this would be good. Mike, do you think there's any, you think this is something where he lands or I think it depends. I wonder if he'll get the advice that it seems like some of these actors are now getting like,
Starting point is 01:00:16 hey, man, that's not the route you want to go down. Right. You know, Shalmy, I think got that from DeCaprio. Right, right. It just seemed maybe, you know, that time, you know, 10 years ago, every agent was trying to get their new client into a MCU, D.C. film. And now I just feel, especially, it seemed like 2025 had a real good push, for new films,
Starting point is 01:00:41 actor driven, character driven, where the superheroes are kind of taking a backseat now. I don't know that he needs it, you know? No, I don't think he needs it either. But to go off that point of like, yes, when the MCU was hot, everybody wanted their clients in it. I mean, shit, they got Lake Great Robert Redford in there.
Starting point is 01:01:01 They had all these people in there. Remember, though, this town loves a big fall. The town also loves a comeback. So if Spider-Man, Doomsday Secret War is hit and then X-Men follows very possible to start getting the big stars again if you're back on top.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Right now when there's a decline, I don't want to do it anymore because it's on a decline. So we'll see. What about you guys? You think you're Jake, do you think that he's got a shot of being an X-Men or is this just yeah, he's on the top of the list? No S.
Starting point is 01:01:36 So put your thoughts in there, let us know. Okay, we're going to get to the questions because we got some. Before we do, I've got to tell you guys about our buddies over at Cash App. Please check them out. Check them out. Thank you to Cash App. Thanks for joining us here today again.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Make sure you want to join the Patreon today. You want to join any of the great things that we have the membership. Please do it today. Join our Clips channel as well. All right. You got to get to, see you later stuff. You got to get to 105 leading into, the Roxy.
Starting point is 01:02:14 So let's start and see what we got. First one. Johnny Petraza, do you believe in ghosts and any stories to tell? That's a good question. For me, I don't necessarily know about the ghost side of things. I believe there's something. There's an energy. I don't know if it's whatever the definition of ghosts are.
Starting point is 01:02:33 I believe in energy. If that's anything. But, Steph, do you believe in ghosts? Hell yeah. Any stories? No, not yet. Like, I feel like every time I go into a new place, I basically like art. I say, if there's any spirits in here, I come in peace.
Starting point is 01:02:50 This is your place. So I feel like I don't bother them. They don't bother me. But I think that they're definitely around. Okay. Mike? Yeah, I believe something's out there. I haven't had any experiences, but, you know, you know.
Starting point is 01:03:06 It is what it is. Too much strange in this world than not. Fair. Michael D. How was your ski trip, Mike? It looked like a rad time. Wait a second, that's me. Yeah, that's you.
Starting point is 01:03:18 He changed. There's a few icons of you. I'm an Xbox. I'm an Xbox game. Yeah, it says Mike's, I can't see it. Mike's simulation. I can't see what it says. It was awesome.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Thank you for asking. That's great. That was great. Nathan, who wins in a fight? Schneider or Shia LaBoof? It's a great question. That is a good question. I think today, Shia, but I think five to ten years ago, Jeff, Jeff could scrap.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Jeff, Jeff, like, do you guys ever see that boxing match for you bowl? You, I did. You bowl beat the shit out of him, but you, but Jeff was out there throwing punches. And he wasn't, he, he wasn't like, you know, cowering at all. Yeah, because he's got that, like, crazy in him. Yeah, people are wrong. There's someone who's shy a easily. Jeff Jeff's tougher than you think he is.
Starting point is 01:04:11 And he's not one of the, because I think if he didn't know Jeff, you'd think that Jeff would go, oh, he's one of those guys. He talks a big game, but he wouldn't sit there. He wouldn't scrap. He wouldn't, he's a Boston guy. He's, he's an East Coast dude.
Starting point is 01:04:23 He's a scrapper. He's scrapper. All right. So let's see. Next one after that. Armada, 8.2. What was funny? Aroka checking IMPB for Sean Moroni or asking the chat,
Starting point is 01:04:36 what's the right way to spell his name when the chat typed it differently? Now, what is this picture? That's a good one, too. It looks like you in like the North in Game of Thrones. No, it's not awesome. It's the John Hamm. It's really good. I love that trend.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Yeah, I would tell you, I think that the fact that Roca just checked for Sharmorone on IMD is pretty great. You guys know this story? No. No. Sean Moroni is the character. that Ellis played on my on my show back in grasping at straws
Starting point is 01:05:17 but Roka, I usually have the audience like, you know, ask the hot mic, ridiculous questions and we used to do pranks on them. But I wanted to make sure that Roko was in on it this time. So last Monday,
Starting point is 01:05:34 I said to Roka, I was, okay, why don't we do something? And we'll figure out together what we can do. So we came up with the idea that we would have someone from the chat will ask about Sean Moroni and if he was cast in Judd Apatow's new movie. And then he and the last Snyder.
Starting point is 01:05:53 And then Roker was like, oh yeah, I heard that he was in it because he killed Tony and all this other stuff. So they asked Roka on the show and he goes, I don't know who Sean Moroni is. I don't know who that is. Completely forgets. And then he forgets so much so
Starting point is 01:06:07 that he goes and looks it up on IMDB. for the whole entire show. He's trying to figure out who Sean Moroni is, and he couldn't figure it out. So this is my favorite. Hold on. Sean Moroney. Give it up.
Starting point is 01:06:20 Sean Moroni. Ken. So it's pretty good. Armada. Can Mike do a gargamel impression from Smurfs? It's a good question. No, I don't even, I mean, I know who it is, but I haven't heard him. So I'll work on it.
Starting point is 01:06:38 I'll come up with something. Armada, A-Y-T. I'm going to try to pitch a random name for a movie that Penny was in on a FYC show and asked if Mance had seen it. That's pretty great. Say he might have missed a movie at Sundance. That's, but you got to find one.
Starting point is 01:06:51 You got to find one that's like real, like sounds realistic. And the problem is, the problem is, isn't Snyder on that show? If Snyder's on that show, he's going to know what's going. Snyder is aware of who Penny Brumber is. There's no way Penny does. I'm Penny does. Perry does.
Starting point is 01:07:09 and there's no way that that mans does unless who knows what if what if mans is as much of a porn freak as Mike is that'd be hilarious that would be I can tell you who won Best Melf in 2003 I was still 10 years older
Starting point is 01:07:28 funny barber I don't even need a haircut I don't need it I can't wait for the next one save the milk man step hides behind the thermos. I'm so thirsty. If they make a Ben's solo movie, I'm sitting it out.
Starting point is 01:07:52 They ruined that character for me when they killed his father. It's fair. Look, the only reason... The curiosity would kill me, though. I would be like... Sodomberg side of it would absolutely kill me for sure. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:07 Let's see. Someone said I finally watch Grasemang Strass, so I get the show on Moroni bit now. There you go. Watch it. We're up to 22,000 on that one. Look at that. Nathan Drake, when are we getting the new Mike headshots?
Starting point is 01:08:18 I've seen that dumb now pick about 100 times now. It's still great, though. The answer is, I know. I know. Who knows? I'm going to say it again. It's just like, I don't know how to get it done. Like, I guess I should set up a tripod.
Starting point is 01:08:35 I don't, I take a picture of you. Makes eight faces. I literally cannot take a picture in front of Harry. He makes me so shy. Like, I, every. photo he takes in me, I look hideous. I'm like, is that how you see me or is I, am I just, I got to, I got to understand. I understand this because every time I take a picture of my wife, she feels the same way. So I just, I feel his pain. Yeah. But, but Luke has sent,
Starting point is 01:08:57 Luke sent an email to all of these people. I know, I know. And no, and it's, terrible at responding. Luke, it's not you. It's us. No, I told I, when he sent the email within Luke will know this, within seconds, I said, don't expect to hear back from any of them. I said, you'll probably hear back from one, and it'll be Chris Carr. And within minutes, Chris Carr wrote back and sent the shots. Oh, bless her. No one else would. Here's my excuse.
Starting point is 01:09:26 Oh, you know, that's freezing again. That hasn't happened quite a while. Out of time, I'm not freezing. Am I? You were for a bit, but you're okay now. Oh. My excuse is I need to have, like, my hair combed to do these. And I sew very rarely nowadays, because with work, have my hair comb.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Because when I'm doing, you know, certain roles, I'm always a really clean shaving. Like, I just shaved my beard last night. And I had, you know, I just got to get a day when Shannon's around and I have my hair comb. So never. Andy Franksy, 6854. Picky Blinders movie trailer dropped my most anticipated movie this year. No Arthur or Alf is shown, but you can't do this movie without them. The problem is everything that you said just there for me, unfortunately, sounded like
Starting point is 01:10:10 German because I don't know the show. So like I'm not going to watch a trailer because I want to know what the hell is going on. Did you guys watch? I heard it's a great show. No. I've heard it's great for years and I want to be a part of the club, but it's a lot. I just feel like it's a lot to get into it. I'm in Game of Thrones land right now and so many different levels, right? Because like so the I just dropped my trailer reaction for House of the Dragon season three. That just dropped. I just finished all of um, Night of Seven kingdoms. Mike, you should really start that series. I feel like you'd like it. I heard. I heard. And then Game of Thrones, you know, we just finished season four yesterday. Sam and I. She's coming in today. We're going to knock out
Starting point is 01:10:52 season five episode three, four, five, and six today. Okay. So we're really firing through these. Four hours? We've been doing some four hour from four hour stints for some of these. Yeah. That's why how you know you guys have been besties forever. That's a long time. to be seated. Well, she's also going to remember. She's also really loving the, she loves the show. So she like, she wants to come in and see. Plus we missed a couple of days.
Starting point is 01:11:25 The, we were on such a role and we didn't get a chance to finish it. So we finished, we finished three. We yesterday. Okay. And he's Frankie. Tweedle-de-l. Today is the day for members. 3-9. I have terrible news for members.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Terrible new members, because the 3-9, which is the red wedding, which drops tomorrow. And I think, did I play this yesterday, and I'm going to play it again for, if I have it, I think I have it. I got to play this for you guys, because this is just, because Mike, even if you haven't seen the actual show, You'll appreciate the reaction itself of the noises. So this is what's dropping on the edited for tomorrow for the... Luke, can you send it to me again? And I'll play it. Oh, actually, I do have it.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Do I have it? Here, hold on. This is a little bit of a tease for tomorrow. But the problem is couldn't do the unedited in time. time today it's going to release in the same time tomorrow so normally we get it about 24 hours beforehand but tomorrow it's going to drop in the same day I'm sorry I know sorry so the the patron doesn't get it early not not this one not this one I'll get it the we we've got the other ones that are ready to come up because this one this one won't
Starting point is 01:12:59 be dropping early but the other ones the other ones will I'm sorry I just didn't have a chance there's some mishaps and other things but here's here's the it's it's so good. When I say I'm in love with her, I really, I think she's the greatest new person on the show. Well, now she's like a staple, but she is the best. It's, it's so good. I can't wait. That is, it sounds like you guys were going through a haunted mansion. She, she was, Steph, I included all of this in the reaction because, so I started the reaction itself and I say, she's going to the bathroom right now. We just have a bunch of stuff. but I'm I just and I take the tissues and I put them on the thing. And then it happens and she can't, it takes it takes us a while to get set up and go again to the next one.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Oh my God. Yeah. No, right. Yeah. And I and she's a mother. So like that one part, it's like probably like. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Yeah. She was she's just. That's the part my mom was like, oh, I've not watched. She literally took three years off before the next season. She was like that was so, so disturbing for me. Yeah. All right, let's see. Armada.
Starting point is 01:14:29 When Mike starts talking about P, Chad is like, Brick Nation, we up. You get that? I don't get it. Oh, I get it. You do? Like what, like, because you are like your boners are up? Is that what it is? I'm so confused by, I believe it. Look at Mike.
Starting point is 01:14:51 Wiley O.C. Sid the squid. Sid the squid was the best. Sid the Squid was so honestly, I wish you got his contact information. Well, we have his Instagram. Kenya King. Can't say Sid had bad customer service. No, he didn't. No, he didn't.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Gen Z.R. And he wasn't too pushy, which I liked. He got his sale out. He asked to follow up and he left it. And he left. And when I said, it's time to go, he left. Yeah. Tyler Freifer.
Starting point is 01:15:17 You didn't mention this to Sam in the last GOT video, but the Dario actor is Ed Skrine, who was the villain in Ted Poo. Oh, yeah, yeah. I didn't mention the, that's true. That's true. I didn't. Okay. Mark, Jason, Ali.
Starting point is 01:15:32 Who says, I love when Harleaf's in a moot. It's effing epic. Our Kickstarter is in pre-launch, too. Take care, guys. Steph, glowing mic, U.BU. That's right. Mark, and congratulations on the Kickstarter. It's amazing.
Starting point is 01:15:43 Awesome. Christian unpronounceable. Steph, have you watched any more of Banshee? Yes, I did finish season three. I'm on season four. That was crazy. and I don't know where they're going with it, but it's a great show. Yeah, it's really good.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Mr. Jay Anderson, real ones will always love when Harlow if goes off the rails. Thank you. Thank you for a great show yesterday. House of the Dragon Season 3 trailer threats. I posted my reaction today. I liked it. You got to remember, I liked season two. A lot of people didn't.
Starting point is 01:16:14 I liked season two because I knew it's kind of leading up. They're showing a lot of the battle already in this trailer, and that's where I knew they were going. There's four seasons, and I think season two is going to play so much better. So like, speaking of Sam, she's going to watch season three with me when it drops, and we're going to catch up with one and two.
Starting point is 01:16:32 I'm going to watch one and two with her like in May. So by the time we get to June 3, is just going to be like, all right, let's jump into the next season. She won't even know, she won't even have that. I think she's going to enjoy it because she's not going to have that. What? Where's the battle? You got to wait two years for that?
Starting point is 01:16:47 She's not going to have that. Johnny, if aliens have died on this earth, is there ghost aliens? Again, it just depends on what you're, depends on what you're, what you think those are. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I haven't thought about whether I, I don't know like the criteria of a alien soul. Right. That's what I think it keeps humans here is the soul.
Starting point is 01:17:10 But I don't know. I haven't yet come in contact with an alien, unfortunately. So I'm not sure yet. Or fortunately. Yeah. They would like me. I don't know if I think you have, you met Finstock. So maybe you have.
Starting point is 01:17:22 Noah Tyber. The Hanna Montana announcement is that 60 million views on Instagram versus Mando at 10 million. Ouch. Yeah. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah. It's like the excitement. What's, because when Roxy told me, what's the trailer, official trailer now on Star Wars for Mando? It was, it was one, just under one when Roxy told me when it just debuted. And then someone said it got to four. So let's guess. I'm going to guess that it's at. 7.2 million
Starting point is 01:17:55 for Mando Grogu. What do you say, Steph? Maybe 10 million. What do you think, Mike? 8.5. Steph's closest, 9.6. Wait, now can we look up most viewed trailers for Star Wars in general?
Starting point is 01:18:20 I'm so curious to see if, like, OB-1 had, you know what I mean? Like has the... Yeah, let's see. Obie 1 trailer Star Wars. 19 million. 13 million, 19 million for that one.
Starting point is 01:18:36 How about... Let's see what Ackleite has. Right. That to me is interesting. Ackleite trailer, Star Wars. 11 million. I mean, this is a movie.
Starting point is 01:18:51 But it's going to build. a little bit more. 11 million, 7.9 million. Now, here's where it's going to get interesting. You can appear movies now as opposed to TV shows. It says Ackleit had 51.3 million. Is that what you said? I'm going straight off the Star Wars show. Not collectively. Right. Yeah, that's good. That's good. All right. So here's here's comparison. So we just said 10 million for Mandolin and Grogo.
Starting point is 01:19:19 we'll probably get to like 15, maybe 20. What do you think Star Wars, The Force Awakens has? 75 million. Mike? 125 million. 112. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:36 Let's look at Rogue One. Actually, we'll go in order. We'll go in order. We'll go the second one after that. The second one after it was Rogue One. All right. So Rogue One trailer Star Wars. That one, $43 million.
Starting point is 01:19:49 46 million 29 for Rogue one Yeah Rogue one Okay let's see Last Jedi 59 million 45 million
Starting point is 01:20:05 Again this is just directly from the Star Wars channel itself 51 million Oh no 51 million was Star Wars Rise of Skywalker So these just shows you drastic D drastic drop off
Starting point is 01:20:18 You know what Solo trailers will be interesting Yeah that would be good solo trailer is 20 million 13 million so that's that's that's that's that's on par with what we're looking at here 20 million and 13 million that's yeah that's on par okay court emperor how about star war's legacy Darth talon crate and kate it just depends on what he's going to
Starting point is 01:20:46 want to do yeah yeah yeah i can't yeah yeah i mean i don't know what i don't know what the plan They're going to do this. I don't know. B-Town. Had the chance to check out Sarah Arabic yesterday afternoon. We'll say, what is that? What? Can I say it wrong? No, you did. What is? Oh, is that, is that, is that one of our, is that one of our stars? Okay. We'll say when I looked up, the sun was setting, so I can say it's Mike Nose Ball. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Mike Nose Ball. I'm sure. Show does she. Yeah. Is she when she? your favorites, Mike? I wouldn't say that. Well. Yeah. Well.
Starting point is 01:21:33 Well. I don't know. I don't know if I've ever seen it. Shannon, watch the show of your like grand reviews. My grand reviews. Yeah, but does she know, basically
Starting point is 01:21:45 steps one and does she know how much of a porn corner story were? I think she probably does. I don't know. Yeah. Does she know that you're going to, you're going to be interviewing Penny Barber? I don't that I don't know that I don't know what do you mean Mike you should but there's no small talk in the house of this that's when you know that's when you don't bring up over meatballs yeah like hey babe this chicken parma's great I'm gonna interview in a porn star on Wednesday yeah the only the only saving grace with that is Roxie's gonna be there too right is she doing it yeah it's me you and rocks yeah um okay cadver 82 screen jump junkies announced movies fights is returning Dan men mentioned it also and asked followers to keep an eye out, not confirming his participation,
Starting point is 01:22:30 but implying. Awesome. Awesome. I'd like to see what they do with it. Johnny Patrice. Christian, some One Piece fans are calling for Adam Sandler to pay. Cazar, do you think that Stanley would fit in that world? Look, I don't, I'm on the, I'm on the journey for that one, you know, like, I don't, I don't know anything about the actual anime. I don't know the characters who would fit, who wouldn't. I'm just going on the adventure. And if certain people seem to pop in there, that if it's an Adam Sandler, Joe Mangano is showing up. Sure. Steph, you, did you, I know that you watched the show, but do you, did you watch the anime? I didn't watch the anime. So I, I'm seeing all these fan castings and some of them look cool.
Starting point is 01:23:14 Adam Sandler, it's like hard to say because I feel like a few years ago, I would say you would take me out of it. but he has done a lot of serious acting and he's great. So maybe if the role really made sense, but I'm seeing the character right now and I definitely see what you guys are saying, but I feel like I would see Adam Sandler in like a costume. Yes, I want to see him in a costume as well. All right, let's see.
Starting point is 01:23:41 Johnny Petrieza. Mike, Sid wants in on the penny interview. I'll bet you guys. Can you imagine that kid? His head would fucking explode. Steph, you're not Googling Penny Barber right now, right? No, no, but I just want to see what she looks like now that you say that. Yeah, Penny Barber image images, I think you'll be okay.
Starting point is 01:24:04 Okay. Or if you go to Instagram, probably would be okay. My internet's moving slow now. Maybe it doesn't want me here. Corn Emperor. Mike is 100% on AI. There you go. Alexander Wilson, the Toy Story 4 trailer, isn't it 5?
Starting point is 01:24:20 It's 5. Who's story five. Isn't it five? That's five. Yeah. The story is AI tech is replacing the toys. I'm like, this movie's going to make a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:24:31 I got to see. Yeah, you're not wrong. Alexander Wilson, 3724. Steph is right about the environment. I live in an area that contains the data centers and they are causing people's energy bills to shoot up. That's awful. I know.
Starting point is 01:24:44 Steph, what did you find? Oh, yeah, she kind of looks like what I thought she would look like. She's buff. she's fit she's fit so go pal the law on what materials can be used to train the AI models now needs to be worked out and hopefully it rains in the wild west it's going on now that's the other thing that we're not talking about as much we are in the early early early stages of regulation and everything too social media still needs a lot of social regulation but they have some as opposed to when it first started you know yeah yeah yeah it's going to take a while if
Starting point is 01:25:20 ever because as long as it makes people money, they don't really care. Yeah, that's true. Okay. Go pal. I like how Christian pronounced X-Men, like Phil Spider-man. Yep, that's right. Mike Joyce, Reddit said that JTE did a Shmos no show with adult stores sitting on his lap the whole time. Did that really happen?
Starting point is 01:25:43 And so, who was it? No. Yes and no. He did do a show with someone sitting. on his lap the whole time. She was not an adult star and did that really happen? So it was an actress named Kristen DeLuca.
Starting point is 01:25:58 And so Kristen DeLuca who was on a couple different things and I can't remember what the contest was but sometimes she agreed that if JT won she was on his lap all the time to the show and she did. That's awesome. Yeah, that was her name was Kristen DeLuca. She was
Starting point is 01:26:13 not, she was an actress. She was an adult. Dr. Doom 1-1-16. The Toy Story five trailer looks absolutely great. Okay, I might have to do a reaction that one afterwards. Michael D. I liked the storyline. Yeah. With the iPad leap thing. Okay. I don't know anything about it. Hearing all the praise online about Nirvana, the band, the show, the movie, have any of you guys ever seen the show? No, until the other day when someone brought this up, I had no idea what the hell this was. People are saying it's pretty fun.
Starting point is 01:26:39 Yeah. I haven't seen it. Don P. 380. Hey, Christian, were you aware that the usual suspects logo from Schmodeon is a downloadable gif on Google? I randomly see it pop up everywhere. I actually, so tons of the logos. And if you go, if you go to like Twitter and you type in Shmodown, there's, there's hundreds of gifts from Shmodown. Oh, yeah. But the usual suspects one, I have seen.
Starting point is 01:27:05 It was awful like some basketball post. Someone said something like, who's saying this? And they wrote back the usual suspect. And they used, but they use that line. They use that. So I have seen that. I've seen, I, when Shmodon was, was popping, we used to see. A lot of different Shmodeon gifts that were going back and forth.
Starting point is 01:27:24 So, Sun Tzu, Yo Gang, just got around to Predator Badlands. Those FN scores are so hard pause in that movie, particular Badlands. They really are good. And Steph and I did a reaction to that. Hopefully you watched our reaction. I think that's Steph's favorite predator movie. Yeah, I loved it. Oh, so great.
Starting point is 01:27:41 Good. Armada. A2C. Maybe there can be a part of your show, Christian, of Manses, the character interviewing P-Stars, what should his name be in the style of Jiminy Glick? Do you know how much I would, I would, that would be amazing if I could get, if
Starting point is 01:27:57 eventually the show got to a place and season one where I could put, because it does, there's a world where a character like that could exist where he's like, you know what I've been doing for the last 10 years, I've been interviewing adult film actresses, here's a clip for my show. And you could have him doing it. Yeah, I would, I would,
Starting point is 01:28:12 you got to find, if you're going to ask him that question about Penny Barbera, you've got to ask him when Jeff Snyder's not on the show. Okay, yeah. Dr. Doom, 1116. They did ask John C for the thing sequel. Oh, they asked John Carpenter for the thing sequel.
Starting point is 01:28:30 They asked him to do the sequel. Is that what he said? Isn't John Carpenter? I'm confused. He's still around? Yeah, he's still around. They asked him to do a second one. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:28:42 Okay. Michael, Joyce, if Grogo speaks, do you think someone famous voices him? No, you shouldn't have anyone famous voice him. I mean, it should be like a well-established voice actor, sure. Yeah. I guess it depends what age we're trying to portray him as. If he's still, like, a child in his years, then maybe like a famous child voice actor, but.
Starting point is 01:29:08 You think he's going to talk? I don't think they should. He's going to say something at the end. Maybe like a word. I'm going to say something, but, I mean, you know, he's got to start talking soon. That's that species talks. He's, you know, broken English, but he still speaks. Yeah, I guess.
Starting point is 01:29:25 Broken Basic, I guess. Yeah. Beagle Studios. I'm using AI as a tool to help me with concept art from something. I drew organizing my character's bios to look more like a Wikipedia. What do you think about that? My internet's crushing. Again, that's his, is it?
Starting point is 01:29:47 Is it my internet or is it yours? I think it's yours. Is it mine or am I? You know, I think it's like, I don't know, anyway. You know, it's a tool that like, like anything, it's used properly. Not properly, that's a bad word. Like, I think what he's doing is it's his work and he's just needs. Like, I've used AI to like, you know, help me with certain, like, not problems,
Starting point is 01:30:10 but I wanted to see, like, I needed a workout program for a few days where I was going to be. And I listed the equipment that I knew was going to be there in it. Okay. Perfect. Okay. Next one after that, let's see. To stop asking my questions, internet sucks.
Starting point is 01:30:30 Mike, top three favorite winner Olympic sports for you. Are you been watching them, Mike? You're muted. I like snowboarding, skiing, and ice skating.
Starting point is 01:30:44 Hold on. Hold on stuff. Where's stuff? Why can't stuff? Hi. Yeah, my favorites are snowboarding, skiing, and ice skating.
Starting point is 01:30:55 Those are like the ones that I've, look I I miss some of them live so I've gone back and looked it into them. Okay. Those are like the most exciting for me. But I like a lot of them like the bobsledding's cool. I haven't done any. What's the broom one? Do you watch that one at all?
Starting point is 01:31:12 No, I haven't been watching. Amazing I started watching a little bit in beginning. And then we, I don't know how much. She was really interested in and she hasn't brought up since. So we know we've, we've been playing this,
Starting point is 01:31:22 um, we've been playing like this game with bowling game. in our house. That's what we do. We don't watch it a little bit. Joyous Romer. Hey, guys, may the Force be with you. Hey, Christian, love to see you doing Star Wars as a headline. For today, I mean, listen, when the story's out there for it and it's, and it's a conversation to be had, then I think that that makes sense. I still like, I, I just won't do a full Star Wars show anymore because of the same reason of what we were just talking about, right? Like, look at those numbers that I just went through and what Mike said pretty well beforehand, too. Like, the, back
Starting point is 01:31:55 when those big movies would come out or even the shows and we did breakdowns for them, people would be looking for those shows and wanted to get into it and discuss it. It's not in that state right now. Like I just, I say to Roke all the time, I said, God bless him. I don't know why, you know, I don't think he does Jedi weigh as much as he used to anymore. But I was like, I can't imagine. And I don't know. The answer could be yes.
Starting point is 01:32:16 I don't know if that show does well, but it's not like Star Wars shows like back and day. When we started Sith Council, remember stuff? When we did Scyth Council, we did full episodes just on the bad batch. And even those would do okay. Right. It started to fade a little bit, a little bit more. Then we would do Acklite and there are other things.
Starting point is 01:32:34 Then we would do fine. And we probably still will when like Asoka comes out. We'll do, we'll do breakdowns the way that we did, the way that we used to do. And we'll do breakdown episodes of those shows. And hopefully they're, hopefully they're good. They're doing relocations this time, which is good. When is that coming out? I think August.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Okay. I think. What the hell happened? I'm Mike. Go pal. Speaking of Mangonella, have you seen Metal Lords? No, I haven't. He says that he has a cameo in Metal Lords.
Starting point is 01:33:03 I haven't seen it. I don't know where Mike went because we got two. Mike's thoughts on Sasha Gray. I have thoughts. I'll ask. And then did Mike look up Brian Holtzman? I'll ask both those things when he comes back, if he comes back. Yeah, I don't know if he's coming back.
Starting point is 01:33:19 I'm not sure. I don't know. He just bailed. Okay, Arague, I watched Thomas Crown Affair movie yesterday. It was great. I heard the remaking of Michael B. Jordan, possibly thoughts. I heard they were going to remake it. I did hear that.
Starting point is 01:33:33 Crown Affair? Thomas Crown Affair. So the original one was, I think it was in the 60s, and then they did one that I really like. There he goes. There he goes. All right, got you. You guys hear me now?
Starting point is 01:33:48 Yeah. Okay, sorry about that. Two questions for you when you were, gone. One is what are your thoughts on Sasha Gray? Yeah, she's boring. Okay. And then the other one was, did you wind up looking up Brian Holtzman after we talked about it last week? Ryan Holtzman? Brian Holtzman, the comedian.
Starting point is 01:34:07 I did not. You should do that for the next show. Okay. All right. Arago. But no, I didn't, the Thomas Crown was, the first one was, I think it was in the 60s, Mike, the Thomas Crown of here. The first one was Steve McQueen, I think, in Al McGraw. Right. And then there's, President and one is, Awesome. That's my favorite one.
Starting point is 01:34:25 Renee Russo? Yeah, it's really good. Damn, that's good. So apparently they're going to do another one. Arago, new peeky blinders. New Peeky Blinders trailer came out. Are you excited for the comeback? I mean, we talked about it earlier.
Starting point is 01:34:40 We all haven't seen it. Yeah. Andy's a Franxie. Toy Story 6 plot. Andy has returned as a kid and goes to visit Bonnie and finds out toys are gone. He's now in the search for them so his kid can have them by the end. They're reunited at the end. that's okay so that's not the real plot that's his that's his made up plot i guess i don't know
Starting point is 01:34:59 no um okay paul hitchcott did you see the interview where the kid who plays egg revealed a bit about dunk's final fate reportedly from martin himself hashtag mans secret urn um so i have um i don't i don't know no i didn't see that one but dunk i'm not sure i know some of their fates because i know i know a little bit about the lure um but yeah so you you either one of you guys watch that show yet? No, I haven't yet. Oh, you got to watch. You'll love that show. I know. The show's so for you. Yeah, I need to get on that. Yeah. The pent ultimate was last weekend, right? Yes. This week's the finale. Last one's the finale. Okay, cool. Yeah. Go pal. So Grogu not like Liz Taylor from
Starting point is 01:35:42 Maggie Simpson? No. I mean, I want to, you should have a good voice. This is the last one for now. For now. Christian Medard. Mike, if Penny Barber did the interview live in Harle off studio, would you fly to New York for the interview? Possible. I love that raw honesty. Oh, my God. 100%. Of course he would. You got a better chance of me having to fly out there because
Starting point is 01:36:15 I think she's in San Francisco. Go pal. Isn't Thomas Crown Affair, McQueen and Faydonaway? That's what it. done away. Yeah, that's what. All right. So right now, 51.
Starting point is 01:36:29 Roxy got you right now by 104. I mean, 54, 54. Yeah. Roxy likes to play a game. She's like that. She's smart. She's a business woman. Let me see if you guys, look,
Starting point is 01:36:41 we're going to do a sign-off. We still got 20 minutes left. If the audience wants to keep you on, they can ask you a few more. Steph has come back. She's done it before. Mike has had legendary legendary performers in the past
Starting point is 01:36:55 but right now. Legendary, you got that right. True. So let's do a sign off here before. There's one more Armada throwing up a mic. Look at the screenshot there, Mike.
Starting point is 01:37:05 Mike, look at this. Avatar. So good. You know that is? I can't believe it. Yeah. They say, call this the Spocker. Mike said he would fly to New York
Starting point is 01:37:18 if Penny was in the studio. I'm already here. Mike, where can they find you screaming and yell at people on Twitter? Come on down to Twitter. At Mike Kallasi, come on down. It's always fun. Why not? Sure.
Starting point is 01:37:39 I've never seen anybody standing. You're in a virtual parking lot with brass knuckles. It's like, that's every tweet, every tweet that you have, you're looking at like, you always pick and you pick one. one person out that you're just going after for a little bit. And like you're, you really are like a professional wrestler when it comes to your Twitter account. Like I always,
Starting point is 01:38:01 I'll look at, you're going, you mentioned a guy with a YouTube channel. You've been going after him lately. Yeah. And you'll go and then no, do they ever respond to you? Not really.
Starting point is 01:38:14 They learned like to not like, you know, right. Go feed the trolls. And, and then, uh, yeah,
Starting point is 01:38:22 that was the one I saw. You'll go after some famous figures here and there just to throw a couple things in there. Oh, there's one. I'm nuts that I can't stand. Oh, there's one. Hold on. My one, I went, I did a tweet at Kevin Sorbo. And that got picked up by like a big website.
Starting point is 01:38:41 And I get so many people like, dude, look at you're famous. You're on here. It was me because he was talking about. See, that's the thing. You get such a kick out of the shit. I hate it. I hate it so much. All right. So Joyous Romer. Hey, Steph, how close are you to being monetized? It's a great question.
Starting point is 01:38:58 I think I'm right there. I haven't checked the analytics in a little bit. So I need to check that. But I have to be right there. What does that? Like, how does that happen? How does that work? You got to have like a certain amount of subscribers, but then you have to have a certain amount of watch time. It's the watch time that I'm getting at. Yeah. You know you should try to do stuff to do that is shorts. You got to try to find a couple of shorts that pop. Yeah. Someone asked me also, going back to the Penny Barber interview, if audience could ask questions, the thing is we're only going to have like 35 to 45 minutes with her, I think. So what I will suggest to the audience is this, and I'll be up front with everybody. I am going to
Starting point is 01:39:44 have a show whenever, like maybe the show, unless it's like a capes and cows, like right before we'll do it on a Wednesday show before we do our interview and I will ask people to submit questions but we're going to do and it's got to be we're going to do it through superchats and but I'm going to give you the risky thing that A we can choose which ones we want to use just because you submit a super chat I'll read them I'll read them when they're in the live stream here but to her
Starting point is 01:40:17 A, they've got to be something that I feel like we can ask and then I'm not going to make her feel uncomfortable. B, I'm not, if 50 people put in questions, I'm not going to be asking 50 questions. So it's not a guarantee that your question will be asked. That's what I've got to tell. I'll be up front. And that just means, well, I'm not going to submit something. And that's totally fine. But I have to be up front with people.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Okay. Peter. Peter Kalenko. Mike should dress up like James Lipton for the interview. 100%. Because you imagine with the note cards? Oh, by the way, Luke says that shorts won't help with the watch sign. They don't count for...
Starting point is 01:40:57 Oh, okay, thank you. Scrap that. If we could get this to be a thing, Harlov, I would 100% do characters with them. Like, have Michael Kane interview them. Like, if we built it to the point where they know what, like, they would come on and it would be fun for them. It will, we'll, look, we don't know her or her personality. So if we're halfway through it and you know me well enough that if I feel like, oh, I feel like she's, she's here to have some fun and I'll throw a softball and I'll,
Starting point is 01:41:29 I'll give a Michael Kane a question. Yeah. But if it ain't going that route and she's like, she's like, I just want to be here remote, I'm out of here. Yeah. Then we're just going to, we'll ask her questions and then we'll move on. But I feel like she's going to have fun. I feel like she's that type of person, but I don't know.
Starting point is 01:41:44 Z-Rob 8395 Currently at 60, guys you guys are only 400, 45 away, 45 away from tying. Yeah. Come on,
Starting point is 01:41:54 let's get Mike and Steph, let's get that with these guys haven't been together in a while. Z Rob, I did my own independent research on Penny Barber. Based on her meta, Mike is into some stuff.
Starting point is 01:42:05 What the hell is that? I mean, what does that mean? Based on her meta. I mean, I wish I could show her Twitter account here, but I can't. Oh, gosh.
Starting point is 01:42:16 If you go to, Steph, I dare you to go on a Twitter account right now. I don't have Twitter right now, but I think if it's public, I can. You can go look at her. If you go to Instagram, you'll be okay. You go to Twitter? Yeah, Twitter's pretty crazy. Go on over there right now. Go to her Twitter replies.
Starting point is 01:42:33 See, I want to see Steph's face. Are you there right now? Yeah, but I'm not on a reply. Caution, this profile may include, okay. Now go to replies. let's see how that works out for you oh you have to go it won't let me oh it won't let you okay makes sense amata 8y t you know universal i'll be there see it uh 62 paul hitchcock did any of you see the son strict never yeah i thought it was horrible
Starting point is 01:43:03 that was horrible uh shan he's a fighter and he his oh is that the mma guy or yeah horrible horrible no boy no uh don't you're on and rous. It was horrible. Wiley O'C. What's everyone's favorite music artist? Doors. Of all time?
Starting point is 01:43:24 Yeah, the doors. God, I don't know. Billy Joel. Maybe Lauren Hill. Really? Yeah. Did you see her at the Grammys? Yes.
Starting point is 01:43:35 Do you love it? I love her. Yeah. Yes, yeah. Of course, it was amazing. Yeah, I think she, I mean, she doesn't have like the biggest dysography, but between the first.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Fugees and miseducation. Those are like some of my favorite. It's a good one. Mike, you got one? Billy Joel. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:43:55 Mike Joyce. Steph needs a stream labs. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I don't do stream labs anymore, I'm personally, but. Right, because if you're not monetized, you don't, I mean, you could just. Yeah, that's the way you can do it.
Starting point is 01:44:10 Bigger cut, but it's bad, I feel like it's easier for people. Stream labs was very convenient. and it was great. With the intention of this, it was just to bring up the super chats, go, go, that's it. Draw it.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Sorry, Mike, Penny Paxe over Penny Barber. Gotta love them redheads. Hey, teach his own. If I've ever heard of this person. No idea. I don't know how any of these people are. All right, let's see. Next one.
Starting point is 01:44:42 After that. Michael D. can either of you and Mike do a lipton impression? Oh, no. I have to work on it. Yeah, you have to work on it. What kind of curse words do you want to hear when you get to? I don't remember.
Starting point is 01:44:59 Armada 8. See, that's a, that's a great. Do you see, that's a great one? Do you see what that is? Do you don't tell it, Steph. See if Steph knows what that is. Oh, but that's Penny Barber. With who?
Starting point is 01:45:14 with Mike. Holding the freaking championship. That's amazing. That's funny. That's great. That's really good. Okay. Next one.
Starting point is 01:45:25 Corn Emperor. Only 400 away. Let's do this. Favorite Spider-Man. Tom Holland, actually. I think that if Andrew Garfield would have been younger when he played
Starting point is 01:45:41 Spine. I think he was the perfect representation of Spider-Man. Yeah. I like Tom Holland's movies. Yeah. I'm with that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:49 Okay. All right. 65. Peter Kalenko. Steph, are you one of the first of your friends to have kids? Are you playing catch up? I feel like my friends are all my friends are getting pregnant, some for the second time. Um, I'm kind of right in the middle.
Starting point is 01:46:03 Like my L.A. friends, I'm one of the first. But my San Diego friends and my right there, like, they just started like a year or two ago. But L.A. friends. I barely have any mom friends. So I'm actually. Yep. It's, it's true. It was one of the things, honestly, that my wife and I had, it was part of the conversation of leaving is that we didn't have a lot of friends that had kids. Right. All my friends, my work friends, nobody has kids. Right. In L.A. And it was, it was tough. I mean, even, like, even Riley, who just, Riley's got a one-year-old, you know, or she's a little older than that now. But like, so yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:45 This is a question I'm going to be asking, by the way. Justin Bishop, Mike, who would you say is genuinely the best acting adult store? It's a great question. I want to know her opinion on that. Honestly, I fast forward through that stuff. So you have no idea? That's the B-roll. The plot is the B-roll.
Starting point is 01:47:09 But aren't they acting in the scene, too, if it's part of the plot? We'll find out. We mean we'll find out. Are you going to be in one? You're going to be in one? I'm going to ask her. Oh, okay. Go pal, have you seen the McQueen Thomas Crown?
Starting point is 01:47:23 Very different. I actually never did. Did you? I didn't either. No. Yeah. All right. 66?
Starting point is 01:47:31 66? Why does it say Mr. Mike Kalanowski? That's not your Twitter handle, is it? No. Why did Luke make up a, make up a Twitter handle? That's his poor name. Mr. Mike Kalanowski? Why did Luke just decide that he wouldn't have put a Mr. there?
Starting point is 01:47:49 That's hysterical. Mr. Mike Callenowski. Mr. Look, explain yourself. Oh, God. Mr.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Mike Kalanowski. Where did you come up with that? I genuinely want to know. Mr. Mike, he said, I think that was his YouTube. Was that your YouTube?
Starting point is 01:48:08 Maybe. Oh, maybe it's your YouTube. No, let's let's, no, he's got to give him his, he's,
Starting point is 01:48:13 he's more active making chaos on social media. We've got to change this. All right, 66. Any more? Yeah, Ramada. All right.
