Starting point is 00:00:01 So we talked about last week. There's a lot of rumors about who's going to be cast as Professor X. Who's going to be cast as Magneto? It was a new rumor. The apparently non-retired Daniel DeLewis is up for the role. How real is that? We'll talk about that. Box office, Final Destination, crushing at the box office with big reviews and big numbers.
Starting point is 00:00:27 How's Mission Impossible fearing? How do we think it's going to do overall? we've got some other stories when it comes to Jai Courtney said he might be up for doing another boomerang. Is he going to show up again? What's the deal with Jai Courtney? Deltoro says Frankenstein is not a horror, Harry Potter series, House is under construction right now, that more.
Starting point is 00:00:56 And I'll tell you some other stories. How about that? You like that? It's me by myself today. Roco will be here on Wednesday. So it'd be great if I could beat everybody today, but we'll see. Probably not. Anyway, let's get into it.
Starting point is 00:01:11 It's me and you guys on the show here today. You got me for as long as you want me. Let's do it. Here we go. How's it going, everybody? Welcome back to the Christian Harlov show here on Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. A good weekend.
Starting point is 00:01:36 On Saturday, I went to the Yankees' Mets game. my first Yankee game at the new stadium since been back being back in New York. I had never been to the new stadium. I only been to the old stadium a thousand times. It was really nice. Good day at the ballpark. They lost, but it was good.
Starting point is 00:01:50 They won the series overall, so I'll take it. I had a great time there at my buddy, who had got tickets for us. I got there. Met a really nice person on the transfer over where I was going. I wasn't sure. I'd never been to Grand Central before and going through.
Starting point is 00:02:08 It's a big freaking place. I'm like, I think I know where the subway is. But there's a guy, I'm walking there. I'll take you. And we were talking to Yankees, the whole damn time. And it was great. And it was a really, it was a nice conversation and the guy was a nice guy. And then the game itself was amazing, got back, had a couple beers.
Starting point is 00:02:24 I ate like an animal because I've been eating really well lately. But I definitely ate like an actual, an absolute animal with all the stadium treats. And the cops are coming to get me because of it. But it was really, really good. I enjoyed it. Sunday, we tried to take an adventure out to Brooklyn, me and the family. It was kind of a disaster because we went to, we wanted to go this one place when, well, speaking of pizza places, I'm not going to speak it at pizza places.
Starting point is 00:02:50 The first time I brought a pizza place in this whole opening. Well, I wanted to go to this place, Luigi's, because I heard such great things about it, whether it was Portnoy and other people were talking about Luigi's how great it was. So, you know, we go and I do the map out. Let's go there first, get the kids some pizza. and Luigi's closed on Sundays. Stupid. So we get there and we're like,
Starting point is 00:03:10 okay, they're closed. That's great. When we tried this place, it was a Mediterranean place. I was like, okay, this is going to be good.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I love Mediterranean food. It wasn't the best. It was okay. The kids loved it. But I don't like dark chicken. I like white meat. And it was all dark meat. And I wasn't,
Starting point is 00:03:28 you know, I don't send shit back. So it's like, okay, this wasn't satisfied. So we drive on out and we go to a place, Atlantic Boulevard. And that place was nice.
Starting point is 00:03:37 There was a couple things from, but my wife was starving. I was starving. We were looking for a place. Couldn't find a, you can find a pizza, but you can throw a stone and find a pizza place in New York.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Couldn't find it on Atlantic. It was a sit-down restaurant. So then we drive to Williamsburg, and I keep hearing about this place, Best Pizza. Everyone's talking about Best Pizza. The name of the place is called Best Pizza. So Portner gave it like a 9.1.
Starting point is 00:03:59 My brother was raving about it. My friends were raving about it. I thought it was terrible. I thought it was terrible. Now, I don't know if it was just, the bad batch that I got that day. But my wife and I, they burnt the pizza.
Starting point is 00:04:10 It was like black on the bottom. It was too much oregano. It was thin. I was not a fan. My little one loved it. She was pissed off that we were insane. We were talking shit about it. But it was just not good.
Starting point is 00:04:24 I was surprised. I'm usually on the same page with Portnoy's reviews. And I did not like that pizza at all, like at all. So, anyway I hope I hope you guys have a better experience
Starting point is 00:04:40 if you go there we have a lot to discuss today a lot of news so but here's what we're going to do because I'm going to see Lilo and Stitch tonight and I'll be doing my out of the theater reaction
Starting point is 00:04:52 and I'll have that out there I'm going to the city to see that tonight who's texting me so much who's doing this? Oh it's Brett Sheridan that's fine I guess there's another story too Blue Beetle story too
Starting point is 00:05:03 Blue Beetle story too. Luke and Brett are texting me and I'm yelling at them for no reason at all. They're both super helpful. And I'm saying who's texting me? Maybe turn your beep off dummy. Anyway, so what I'm going to be doing is I'm doing the show here. Hopefully, I have three questions so far. Let's get a lot today. Ask me whatever the hell you want to ask me.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Let's talk about some stories or you got me, you got me for as long as you want. So start throwing those questions in there and I'm going to cover these stories. And we'll take it from there. It's a short show. It's a short show. Up to you guys. Fine by me. But let's get to the first topic. And I saw this today.
Starting point is 00:05:40 And we had just gotten this whole conversation discussion about this, about this X-Men. And how X-Men was, I think last week it was going to be Coleman Domingo and Denzel. And now there's a new rumor. And it's Daniel Day Lewis come out of retirement to play Magneto. I don't know where this is coming from, but we'll see. Is it Jeff Snyder again? Could be. The rumor is that three-time Oscar winner, Daniel Day-Lewis,
Starting point is 00:06:11 is being eyed to play Magneto in Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot. Once about a time, casting rumors for the Fantastic Four first steps were endless. Now, it's the turn of the X-Men reboot as we have another wild casting rumor to share, this time for Magneto. Josh Wilding says, with Thunderbolts, director Jake Schreier, set to direct Marvel Studios X-Men reboot, the rumor will, the Moomer Mill continues turning out possibilities for the highly anticipated movie
Starting point is 00:06:37 which for what it's worth we've heard is currently being referred to as uncanny X-Men internally at the studio. We're not putting too much stock into these casting rumors, but the following week Professor X, Jean Grey rumors, there's possible update on the MC's Magneto, according to My Time to Shine Hello.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Marvel Studios is eyeing three-time Oscar winner Sir Daniel Day-Lewis for the role of the Master of Magnetism. Would he ever really consider a superhero movie role? We wouldn't bank on it. Though the same, might have once been said for Sir Ian McKellen. It's worth noting that this comes after the insider said, no new X-Men cast will be introduced in the upcoming Avengers films
Starting point is 00:07:13 because the focus is on giving closure to the original characters. Casting hasn't started yet because director Jake Schreier hasn't officially signed on. That's why Sadie Sink isn't playing Gene Gray. That said, there are three roles that Kevin Fagie has specific actors or at least types in mind for Xavier Magnino and Storm. the names he's considering feel a bit too big to actually land, but you'll see I'll mention him soon. Aside from those three, I haven't heard of any other actors being considered yet. So while the studio would like Daniel Day Lewis to play Magneto,
Starting point is 00:07:45 no offer has gone out yet, and he's likely just indicative of the type of actor Feigey would like to see Phil the role in the MCU. After McKellen and Fastbender, we're not shocked to see that Feigy is aiming high. Daniel DeLewis won the best actor Oscar for his roles in my left foot. There will be Blood and Lincoln. He's also known for in the name of the father, gangs in New York, fandom thread, and the last of the Mohicans. McKellen is confirmed to return his Magneto in Avengers Doomsday alongside Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor X.
Starting point is 00:08:14 They'll be joined by Alan Cumming, like Nightcrawler, Rebecca, Remain, mystique, James Marsden, Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, though this X-Men team feels far from complete. Meanwhile, a lesser-known social media scooper, Maine middleman, has claimed that Kirby Howell Baptiste, the Sandman and Jody Turner Smith from the Ackleine, are contenders to suit up as the MCU Storm Post Avengers. Secretor's hereditary star Alex Wolves also said to be in talks for an unknown role.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I like the Jody Turner Smith pick for Storm a lot. I really like that pick a lot, to be honest with you. She's great in Love the Accolade, but she's she's fantastic she's a really good actress she's perfect for storm perfect um daniel de lewis do i believe that they're aiming for him yeah do i think he's going to sign on probably not do i think it would be incredible hell yeah it'd be incredible i'd be amazing if you got him as magnino i mean you talk about starting out with bang but i mean the guy's been retired for however long he's been retired what you have to have got like an inside tip or something that he's
Starting point is 00:09:24 he's itching to come back and he wants to do something, he wants to do something, you know, big fun, make some money in order for even go out with him. Because otherwise, it's like, hey, let's just go take an outside shot. I'll go sit down with him, have a conversation with him, cross our fingers that he's going to decide he wants to do it. And see, you know, where we go from there. Because I can't imagine in a million years that they would get him. I couldn't imagine a million years. but then I also say what the hell happened to the Denzel idea? Did he pass or was it bullshit in the first place? And was he,
Starting point is 00:09:59 remember, Denzel said, now there's two things here that we could say. Denzel said that he got a role in the Ryan Cougar, Black Panther 3 when he said that and he didn't realize he wasn't supposed to say it. He did. Part one of that. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:10:16 exactly. He said he's in that. And we believe him he's in that. He's not going to be an ex-man. or yeah, he's going to be there, but he's playing Magneto and he's going to debut in Black Panther 3. But if you believe these reports that are just read, they're not going to play with any of the new X-Men casting.
Starting point is 00:10:35 So it would make more sense if he was Denzel in Black Panther 3, does his role, does whatever the role is there, does a one-off, and then brings, you know, the Denzel prowess with him, And now you've got this whole open canvas now for the new X-Men. I don't know, though, if I believe that report totally of not having any of the new X-Men in the second Avengers, because don't you have to tie it in somehow? Because that's going to be the major going forward part is the X-Men. I mean, even if I guess maybe it's a post-credit scene, and that's how you start in Secret Wars.
Starting point is 00:11:18 but maybe they don't get involved totally, but I think you have to have them cast by the time that movie comes around in order to make it work. But if you get Daniel Day Lewis as Magneto, then Coleman Domingo as Professor X, it's a pretty great cast right there. It's a pretty great cast.
Starting point is 00:11:40 But is that going to happen? It's to think it's so unlikely, but I think it's more about who they're going for for Magneto so far, whether it's Denzel, Daniel de Lewis. I mean, aim high, Fagy. I like what you're doing. Aim high. You got to get everybody back on board. Yeah, it is true, though, about the age difference. Some of San Luis said the difference, the age difference between Coleman and Daniel DeLos is pretty big. And it's the same with him and Denzel. But they got to be closer in age. I don't disagree with you. I don't disagree with you. But as they said in that article,
Starting point is 00:12:18 I think that this is just more and more of, we're getting very close to X-Men, you know, like dominating the Marvel and the MCU and taking over. And I, what were they talking to about this recently? I think it might have been Bateman when he was here. I can't remember. But we were talking about,
Starting point is 00:12:36 you just, I mean, he might have been on the show. You guys can tell me if we talked about it. We were talking about Marvel. He just didn't care about it as much. And I said, yeah, but we,
Starting point is 00:12:42 until X-Men, he's like, that's what I'm going to care. I think that was him. But I was talking to somebody. It was like, I'm going to care when it's X-Men. Like, that's when it's all X-Men.
Starting point is 00:12:53 And, I mean, that's when I'm going to care. So I think you got to, you got to nail that cast. You really got to get that cast locked down. But I think that, I don't, I can't imagine. I can't imagine there's anybody in the comments or watching on the clips channel or watching in the, um, on the replay that doesn't think getting Daniel Day Lewis for Magneto is, It's like if you can get them, lock them in. And there's two questions.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Question one is, do you think that they should get them? And I'm pretty sure that if we did a poll, 98% of you, or at least 90% of you would say yes. And I bet you if we did a second poll and said, do you think they're going to get them? I bet you're about 85% of you say, no, you're not going to get them. And I'd be part of that. I think there's no world that you get them.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Because he even said that. He even said on that post. that they're going after them doesn't mean they're going to get them you just got to throw you got to throw the bank at them you got to you got to give them points you do everything you can to lock him down because you're you're not just getting them out of retirement for like one movie it's like you're getting them in to say hey we want you back you and daniel lewis coming back you know to do a big movie five movies like that after his career that he's one of the greatest actors of all time.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Some are the maybe the best actor of all time. He's in the conversation with Brando and other people too, for sure. Is this, you're going to get him back? Wow, I mean, it would be a story. He comes back to play Magneto in X-Men from Marvel. How did they do it? It's like signing a big free agent. And unlike Soto, he would actually deliver.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Sorry, Mets fans, had to do it. So this is something I think is a developing story, but I think it's a unlikely, unlikely event that you get them. But what say you? Put your thoughts in there. Let me know. All right, listen, we got a lot of the stories to talk about today. Before we do, when I was talking to you guys about Turtle Beach a while ago, and I saw so many you said that because of us, you it and got Turtle Beach and you're loving it.
Starting point is 00:15:16 They're back. I'm glad that they're back. And it's smart for you to, especially for gamers. I was playing Indiana Jones. Well, you'll hear this. You'll hear it now. Turtle Beach, everybody. So it's Turtle Beach time.
Starting point is 00:15:28 And I'm excited to talk about them again. Man, that's Stealth 700 headset that I got. Pooey. The sound was playing the Indiana Jones game. The sound is just so it's like, you guys know how I am with sound and movies in general. Playing this game and hearing every little bit of sound because the headset is just so incredible. It just does
Starting point is 00:15:46 leaps and bounds better than previous ones that I've used. But you know, it's funny when you're playing the game and you're so just taking in by all the sounds because the headset is so incredible. I was like, oh, I didn't pay attention on what's going on. I'm going to get popped by one of these bad guys. And the other great thing about it, it's got an 80-hour battery life. I was like, oh, I've got to charge this thing. It's like, no, not yet.
Starting point is 00:16:06 You got time. I mean, you could. You don't have to. And that's the worst. When you're playing a game, you're doing something with the headset, and then just craps out and you're like, oh, I gotta wait forever. It's great. The Stealth 700 has the industry's first ever crossplay dual wireless transmitter system. It means you can seamlessly switch between your consoles and the PC with just a click of a button. Gets even better. While being connected to your console, the Stealth 700 can connect with your phone for music streaming, taking calls at the same time.

Starting point is 00:17:13 with Turtle Beach today. Thank you. Turtle Beach. Again, like I said, links in the description. At least it should be soon. Hopefully, Luke Cappieldy can put it in the description. It should be in there. And if you head on over there and get yourself a pair, please tell them that we send you and you will not regret it.
Starting point is 00:17:32 And currently, guys, we're at 11 questions so far. 11. I'm going to try to, I want Roxy to be on tomorrow's who I got to be. I got to be me. You got to be me. Come on, Roxy. Duke's up. You want to host?
Starting point is 00:17:46 You got to beat me. Okay. So let's get to some other numbers, not the super chat numbers. We're going to get to the numbers. No, we just did that one. That's not, what the hell just happened?
Starting point is 00:18:00 What's stupid is that? Where's the damn thing? I just had it. I need to get my, I want to get these box office numbers. They're here somewhere. Box office over the weekend was pretty crazy. I was not expecting this to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Here it is. Okay, so look at these numbers. Final destination coming in a 51 million. Thunderbolts at 16.5, centers at 15.4. Minecraft still at 5.9 and the accountant two. I'm going to start with Thunderbolts. Thunderbolts brings in now 325. Not the best overall.
Starting point is 00:18:45 I mean, there's significantly less drop than they had last week, better drop than they had in week three. This is their best weekend as far as drop goes. I think last week was 32, so we had like in 15. So there you go. But 325 is going to be hard. It's going to be hard to make a profit.
Starting point is 00:19:00 But I think, again, like I said, I think they win when it comes to quality. And this is the step in the right direction. So sinners, though, makes another 15.4. This movie has made $315 million so far. 240 domestic, 73. Remember, people were shitting on the international number for a while. Now it's climbing up to 100 million overall international.
Starting point is 00:19:23 So it's done 314. Big movie for Ryan Cougar there. Minecraft, another one, 5.9, the total of 921. They're going to keep that thing in the theater to see if it can reach a billion. And it might get damn close. It might get damn close, but I don't know. It's already on digital, right? now so probably not counting two coming in at 90 million overall um i think it was lower budget so
Starting point is 00:19:47 decent for for that film but this movie who the hell saw this coming final destination bloodlines that's pretty crazy it made 51 internationally and domestic 102 overall and it's getting really good reviews and i'm so bummed but i missed it because um it was the same night the screening was the same. So I don't know what happened, to be honest with you. I reached out and they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, there were very nice. It said, here's your screening option. And they, that it was newer people that I hadn't dealt with before. And again, super nice people. And, and, like, okay, it was the same night as mission impossible. But then I saw, like, everybody else was reviewing on a different night. I was like, what the hell happened? I didn't get a
Starting point is 00:20:30 chance to see it. But I also thought to myself, you know what? Tina and I still haven't done the final Destination 5. It can't be my wife. I'm telling you, this is incredible. My wife, every day, every day, every day at two, what did I tell you guys? What did I tell you? Every time I told, the last show on Friday,
Starting point is 00:20:52 I cannot even tell you how many times I said, you know, from 2 to 4 o'clock, out of commission doing the live show. And she's like, okay, okay, calls me every time, every time. So anyway, Mission Impossible. What I said? 240? What do you mean? I said 240?
Starting point is 00:21:11 I don't know what you mean. Mission Impossible. I saw Mission Impossible and I chose that one over Mission over Final Destination 5 for a lot of different reasons. One, I wanted to see that movie over Final Destination to be here. Two, felt it would do better overall with a reaction and review. People would be interested in me seeing it. So I had to choose between the two. I hate when I have to do that, but I had to do it.
Starting point is 00:21:34 And three, I actually. I said, well, you know what, Tina and I really have experienced this entire franchise together. And why don't we just do the fifth one together? Or sixth one, rather. We'll do the fifth together, which will be coming out soon. She's coming in on Friday for us to record, so it'll probably be out next week. And then when it comes out on digital, we'll do that one together. It makes a lot more sense to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Now, the question is when it comes to box office overall, final destination is going to have no problem making some more money, and it's going to be a big head overall because more people are going to want to see it, I get good reviews. And then this, when Lilo and Stitch comes out, though, man, depending how it is, also I'm going to see it tonight. But as I've said, a million times over, there are no movies for families to watch right now. And my little one hasn't even seen the original.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I've never seen any original. I'm probably going to do that also. But she's never seen the original, and she wants to see this in the theater. Families are going to flock to this movie. It's any good. And it's going to wind up. It's right around. There's still,
Starting point is 00:22:35 kids are still in school, but it's still the summer season, and it's the first movie for kids to go and check out. So I think it's going to make a lot of money. And besides just the families, people who grew up with Lilo and Stitch and that want to see the live action version of them and are getting excited about it,
Starting point is 00:22:54 it's going to clean up, especially if it's good. It could be the first big billion dollar movie for, for Disney thus far this year, I think. Again, let's see how it is. I'm going to see it tonight. And it's going to be interesting for me because, like I said, I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to probably do a reaction by myself
Starting point is 00:23:20 to Lilo and Stitch, the animated one after I see this one. And then now I'll be one of the rare people who sees this first. and then goes and sees the anime. So I'll be comparing it afterwards. And I wanted to take that point of view with that. I was originally going to do the opposite. I was going to see the animated first and then go see it. I'm like, no, you know what?
Starting point is 00:23:41 I'll be experiencing this story. And I mean, I'm very aware of the character. Stitch. I mean, he's been around forever. And plus the fact he reminds me of every pug that I've ever had. So I'm curious to see how it's going to, how it's going to compare when I, see it this way. Um, I saw someone last of us, by the way, I didn't get a chance to see it yet.
Starting point is 00:24:06 It's another thing. So I was usually I get a chance to see it a little early. I didn't, couldn't see it this weekend. So I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to wait and I'm going to watch hopefully this episode and next week's episode together and release it as one big video for anybody who's asking. Um, and I'll tell you how many people have asked so far. Nobody. Nobody's asked about Last of Us with my reactions review. So just for anybody, the future that's going to ask you just got your answer for it um that's it okay i think there's some other stuff that i wanted to discuss with you guys today and we will get into all those i didn't watch the predator trailer and see that yet so the new one and i'm probably not going to the
Starting point is 00:24:51 predator killers killer of killers the animated one i'm i'll probably just watch it when it comes out oh let's talk but we'll talk about don't talk jai courtney let's talk jay Courtney, you can do that. We're able to do that, right? Fine, let's do that. It works for me. If it works for me, it works for you, right? Is that true? I don't want to speak for you, but it's fine. Jai Courtney is hoping for a boomerang return. Okay. Let's see, how's that going to work? While people weren't fans of his forays into the Terminator, a diehard franchise, Jai Courtney's work in shows like Spartacus and films like Reacher, Divergent, and the exception fared better. Arguably his most famous role of date, though,
Starting point is 00:25:29 as Captain Boomerang and David Ayers Suicide Squad. The actor often, one of the best parts of the feature, and unfortunately, one who seemed to meet his demise in the opening of the suicide squad. With the recent trailer for the second season, a peacemaker, seemingly teasing pocket dimensions, could Courtney's cap come back in his glory? Appearing Cannes to promote his role as a shark-obsessed serial killer and dangerous animals. He says he's recently had a conversation with DC Studios Chief James Gunnabot returning. Rather, he pleaded for Broomering to return, saying,
Starting point is 00:25:59 I was like, come on, man, boomerang is cool. James is like, you know, those rules don't really apply. Just because he dies here doesn't mean it's gone forever, right? And I was like, yeah, hell yeah. So I have hope. Somewhere in the back of my mind, there's a prayer that will see more of boomerang one day. Several characters from the DC EU have made the jump to the new DC universe, including Amanda Waller, peacemaker, Amelia Harcourt, John, Anamas, Weasel, and Blue Beetle.
Starting point is 00:26:25 It's expected. We'll get more insight when Superman premieres in July 11th. I have such an interesting relationship with Jai Courtney because for, I don't know, for, some of you have just been following me recently, some of you've been following me forever. I was maybe unfairly a harsh critic of Jai Courtney for a bit. I just, I think it was more so that studios shoving people down your throat and
Starting point is 00:26:54 saying, this is your next star, this is it, eat it, that's your star. he said, no, this person hasn't really earned this. And to no fault of their own, they're thrown into this kind of machine with bad writing, whether it's Terminator or whatever it was, and other things, the diehard movie, and you get these beloved franchises and you look at the guy who's in it twice. You know, it must be his fault. And it wasn't. And then he was in something else.
Starting point is 00:27:20 I think it was an Angelina Jolie directed movie that he did. And he was a supporting character. He started doing, and St. Worthington was similar. But then I had the opportunity to interview Jai Courtney twice. Really nice guy. Now that that doesn't mean he comes in. He's like, a nice guy. Oh, you know, nice guy.
Starting point is 00:27:41 So all of his performances got better. It wasn't the case at all. It was that he started getting different roles and he was very good as boomerang. But I was impressed with him as an individual. And then I was really started to get impressed with him with the roles. He made a good switch in his career and how he's taking stuff. Now, as far as Boomerang, I think Boomerang could come back, especially if you watch that trailer on Peacemaker, Season 2,
Starting point is 00:28:11 in the way that they tease it at the end. But you've got to be careful, though, again, with... MCU just really got mud all over their face with all the multiverse stuff. and it takes away, it takes away from emotionally attaching to things like, oh, well, it doesn't matter the person. Like, even James Gunn just said it. He's like, yeah, just because he's gone, doesn't mean he's gone forever.
Starting point is 00:28:37 It kind of sucks, you know, it kind of sucks that is a realistic rule for a lot of these things. You're like, oh, okay, well, just because they died doesn't mean that they're dead forever. And even if you got really sad about that, now you can be happy. They're back. It's like, well, I shouldn't have gotten. sad. So, anyway, I'd be up for him coming back, though, because I want to see him, I don't think he got
Starting point is 00:29:03 his due playing the character, because again, Suicide Squad was not the best, and the Suicide Squad was great, but he's barely in it. So I'd like to see. I'd like to see what he does, but what do you guys think? You think this is something that should happen? Should it not happen? Put your thoughts in there, let me know. And let me know not only in the live chat not only if you're watching on the replay guys i told you last week that we were i think getting close to like um 9 000 subscribers or whatever it was on on the clip
Starting point is 00:29:36 channel we're getting close to 10 000 now so if you didn't know the clips channel exists it's just if you just google or youtube rather christian harlough clips you go there and this show is it's clipped out every single day clipped out so you have all the main stories you're like oh man i missed the show today I didn't get a chance to see it. And then you can, you don't have to put that, that, where are the time codes? And me writing back, I don't have time for time codes. And then you just, they're all clipped out. So if you want to go back and you want to watch the show, you can watch it clipped out on the clips channel.
Starting point is 00:30:09 So head on over there, subscribe. Please let's get to 10,000. That's not a hard thing to do. That's free. There's other things going on. Oh, I wish I could read this comment to you that I wrote. You remember when we were talking about Superman? Let me see if I can find.
Starting point is 00:30:22 I doubt I can find it. Let me see. I'm going to see if I can find it. But remember where I think it was that scene that came out, the Superman scene. And I thought it was a little goofy and people were giving me shit about saying that it was goofy. Don't you have a dog and blah blah on. You're a DC hater. Why do you hate DC so much?
Starting point is 00:30:44 Why do you hate Superman so much? Yada, yada, yada. All that crap. You know, I got that. And then even though I liked the first trailer and then it bounced back and forth. And then it's like, you know, I said there's two extremes. There's the idiots that, um, that if you don't like it, then you're a hater. And if you love it, you're, you feel like a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:03 But I, I was in a mood last night. And where the hell was it? Let me see if I can find it. I don't even know. I was walking around in my kitchen. I saw a stupid comment. Then I realized there was a lot of them. So I didn't respond to all of them.
Starting point is 00:31:14 But I just, there was one I posted a short. And again, I was in one of my really stupid moods. And it was a, it was a, it was a, it was a, where the hell is it? What is that? That's not what I want. And it was one of the Superman ones I put out. And let me see if I can find it now. I have to find the actual thing. But once I do, let's see. I can't. I got a look. It's going to take me a second to find it, but I'll, I'll find it. And I was just, it was, I don't even know what I wrote, except that it was just a bunch of nonsense. And I responded to, and I wasn't, I like responding to nonsense with nonsense. Does that make
Starting point is 00:31:50 sense. I think so. You know, fine, there's a lot of comments on here, which is good. I don't understand how these freaking shorts work, man. Like, some of them, you think, oh, that one's going to, people are going to find that one. And the algorithm goes, nope, we don't want anyone to see that. And then they just throw a bunch of other ones to people. But I guess this is the one they wanted to show people. They wanted people yelling at each other, which is fine. It is funny to see how many, already this movie is so controversy. So controversy? So controversial. The amount of comments is it's hilarious. It's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:32:24 What's going on comments of this thing. And, oh, man, I can't have someone said I hate it so much. I will say, though, there is something of people who actually, like just normal comments who just said,
Starting point is 00:32:37 just doesn't look good, which is fine. That's people's opinions. I think that's totally fair to say. If you want to say that, it's just a matter of you, you know, you get idiot comments.
Starting point is 00:32:48 They're like, how about you're paid? to watch this. How much did you get paid to say you liked it? I was like, well, wait a minute. But I didn't get, you didn't say I got paid when I didn't like the last scene. Why didn't you, why didn't you say that there? You don't, they don't pay you to, to say that it looks goofy.
Starting point is 00:33:04 The, the, the dog jumping around. Man, this is pissing me off. I can't. There's a lot of comments on here. There's a good thing, I guess. Oh, there's another idiot. Tom Sullivan. Paying where you words?
Starting point is 00:33:14 Oh. I wish. Let's see. where's the next one? God, there's some dumb people in the world. Let's see. I can't even find it. Oh, damn it.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I messed up one right past it. How did I get right past this? Well, anyway, I didn't find it, guys. I don't think so. I was hoping that I was going to find it, but I didn't find it. And I didn't. Oh, well.
Starting point is 00:33:42 If I find it, I'll have to take the, I'll have to find it and do the, you know, screenshot to it. But I was excited with myself. I thought that I was going to actually... Is that it? Nope. What the hell with it.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Couldn't find it. Who is? Who is now? I don't know. I can't even. I don't know what's happening. All right. Well, that was a whole lot of nothing.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I was like just me telling... I was basically venting to you guys what happened yesterday. But it was a ridiculous comment that I wrote back with and I had fun. But that's it. All right, here's the next one. What is this? We did that one. Oh, we did that one. What do you guys prefer? Do you prefer me there or do you prefer that? Let's start with that before I get into the next story.
Starting point is 00:34:33 You guys produce the show today. Do you like that or do you like me in the shot or just doing it the way I just did it? What, let's say you? How do you sign up for a channel membership? There's, well, you go into the description. There's a chance that you can do it in description, but you can also just do it. It tells you or just pick, go to my videos and you see one of the member videos and you can try to sign up on it.
Starting point is 00:34:55 You try to watch it and then it'll just tell you to sign up. Which by the way, people are going to be happy about that and I'll tell you even update. Let's see another one. How about which one should we look at? Oh, we'll go back to the final destination thing. I know we just covered it, but I wanted to talk about how it set a record.
Starting point is 00:35:11 There he is. Tony Todd. People want me. Okay, people want me in the shot. All right. I'll do that. It's fine. And I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I don't even know how I did that. Right here. Oh, look at that. You like that one or that one? Is that better? One or two. This will be this is one. This is two. You guys choose. What do you like better? One or two. Camera one. Camera two. Camera one. Camera two. Which one? We'll do that one. Okay. Two. So this is one. This is two. Shit. All right. What? Shit. So one. I'm seeing twos. I'm seeing two twos, two ones. It's tied, guys. Two feels less aggressive. It's fair. Two does feel less aggressive. It's fair. Two. We're going to go with two for today. All right. Let's go to this one. A film once destined for streaming. Really? Warner Brothers must be very happy today. I have no idea why I want to do this. Must be very happy today as a revival of the Final Destination horror franchise has been a smash hit. Final Destination. Bloodline. Is there, you vote seven? I mean, there's a seven?
Starting point is 00:36:28 Oh, Galaxy Geeks made a whole bunch of these. I don't know. Has been debuted to a superb 102 million opening worldwide and even split of 51. Domestically, it's shattered expectations. Good reviews, word of mouth. It's broken a record for biggest opening for an R-rated horror movie this decade, holy moly,
Starting point is 00:36:46 overtaking sinners debut of 48 million. While it's not expected to have the staying power of that film, it is quite certain to become the highest grossing entry in the franchise. That's good for that movie. Warner Brothers is crushing this year. Crushing. So I just wanted to go into that.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Anyway, I just wanted to, the fact that it broke some records. What else? Is there anything in the other big stories that are going on that we really, I'll go into that. Frankenstein is not a horror. That one.
Starting point is 00:37:18 Let's get into that. Is that something? No, That's this one. Hold on. I'm going to go back to it. But we've got, you know,
Starting point is 00:37:29 here he is. We've got Del Toro, who is now doing a Frankenstein movie. He says it's not going to be a horror movie. So what does that mean per se? Let's find out. Del Toro's Frankenstein is not a horror, he says. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:47 I mean, it's Del Toro, so trust whatever he says. Deltoro says his upcoming version of Frankenstein will avoid the horror focus of past adaptations to offer something different. Participation is a conversation at the Cannes Film Festival with Oscar-winning composer, Alexandra Desplot, the celebrated shape of water and hellboy director, says someone asked him the other day of the film has scary scenes, to which he says, it's an emotional story for me. It's as personal as anything.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I'm asking a question about being a father, being a son. I'm not doing a horror movie ever. I'm not trying to do that. What I can say is, for me, it's an incredibly emotional. emotional movie. This plot is collaborating with Del Toro on the film, handling the movie score and says he concurs with that assessment from the director. He said,
Starting point is 00:38:32 Marmos Cinema is very lyrical, and my music is rather lyrical, too. So I think the music of Frankenstein, Frankenstein will be something very lyrical and emotion. I'm not trying to write horrific music. The two have yet to finalize the score for the film, which is set in Eastern Europe in the 19th century. Uh, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:38:54 blah, so it's, but who's it? Look, after, you can tell me that after seeing Pinocchio, and what Del Toro did with that, you can tell me he's going to be a romantic comedy,
Starting point is 00:39:08 and I'm going to be okay with it. Other directors, I'd be like, hey, you make it a horror movie. That's what it's always been. Del Toro, man, I'm always interested to see his take.
Starting point is 00:39:20 and he said, and you know it's going to be emotional. There were two Pinocchio movies out that year. And that Pinocchio movie that Tom Hanks and Robert Zemeckis did was an abomination to the original Disney. It was horrendous. I mean, just horrendous. One of the worst movies, maybe of that year. But that Pinocchio movie was brilliant. And if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
Starting point is 00:39:45 It was so, so good, so solid, so emotional. and it was just amazing. So I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does with Frankenstein. I want to say Frankenstein? I'm saying Frankenstein. Anyway, so I'm excited to see what he's doing in the same way that Robert Eggers, what he did with Nussferat to. I want to see what he's going to do with Frankenstein.
Starting point is 00:40:08 So how about you guys? What do you think? Put your thoughts in there. Let me know. I got to hear about it. My perfect day has sand, saltwater, and friends. But my moderate to severe plaques psoriasis can take me out of the moment. Now I'm all in with clearer skin thanks to Skyrizi.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Risenkizum at Rizza, a prescription-only 150 milligram injection for adults who are candidates for systemic or phototherapy. With Skyrizzi, most people saw 90% clearer skin and many were even 100% plaque-free at four months. Sky-Rizzi is just four doses a year after two starter doses. Don't use if allergic to SkyRizzi. Starting point is 00:41:09 skyrizzi.com or call 1-866 Skyrizzi to learn more. Okay, guys, we're currently at 15. 15. Now, I feel like we can get, we can make Roxy Sweat tomorrow, but it's up to you guys. Put your thoughts in there about Deltoro, put your thoughts in there about good old Frankie. What do you think he's going to, how do you think the movie's going to be? Let's get into it, guys. Let's talk about it. You know, I do have a funny story yesterday. there's a listener who is been an Instagram who has been trying he's very involved with
Starting point is 00:41:50 his students and he talks about YouTube stuff he talks about movies and everything he's very nice guy and we've been communicating back and forth on certain things and helped him out with his class and things and he had sent me this voice known he said look here's something to think about I say I know you haven't watched a skeleton crew and you You know, you said you'd have to watch it with the little one in order. He's like, I watched it with my little one. Really enjoyed it. You watched it.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And she watched it with her eyes kind of wide the same way that your oldest did. She gave it a shot. I think she really like it. So yesterday, you got to understand something, though. I have Joe Pesci in my house for a seven-year-old. So she's watching some bullshit Nickelodeon show, whatever she's watching. I said, all right, you know what? I'm going to try this.
Starting point is 00:42:37 I'll see if I can get into Skeleton Crew with my little one. So I said, Amazing, you want to watch something with me? She said, what is it? He said, why don't you watch something with me? She's like, Dary. So she curls into my arm. We start watching. And she goes, duh, Star Wars.
Starting point is 00:42:52 And I go, let's watch it. And she goes, why don't you watch your original Star Wars? And I go, you've never seen those. She's like, yeah, I don't want to watch this. I go, it's kids. She's like, da. So right away, there you go. So we started.
Starting point is 00:43:06 And I, the Jude Law scene starts off the first thing. and she's already kind of like staring at the ceiling. I go, wait until the kids come in. So she's watching the kids. She's watching the elephant. She's watching all this stuff. And I'm like, okay, maybe she's getting into it. And she,
Starting point is 00:43:19 I don't know how long we were into it. We must have been like 10 or 15 minutes. She goes, this stinks. I want to go back to my show. And I go, let's finish the episode. She goes, stinks. We can't finish it. She's like, I'll call her with you later.
Starting point is 00:43:33 So that was yet. So I will never watch that show probably. Because if she doesn't want to watch it, I will probably never watch that. show ever again. So she, she, uh, she stinks. And I was like, it's not that bad. It's fun. I was like, come on. And she wanted nothing to deal with it. But you know what with her, you never know. Because remember, I told you guys that story with, I asked her, I asked her the other day. And I said, what's your favorite movie? She says, what do you think it is? And I was, and I said to
Starting point is 00:44:01 her, I, I, I can't remember what I, what I guess, whatever was wrong. And she was Minecraft. They go, Minecraft, you give it a big thumbs down when we saw it in the theater. She's like, yeah, I've thought about it since. I mean, well, the internet let you, they'll let you let you live that down. You're not allowed to change your opinion on the internet. And so she, apparently she likes Minecraft now.
Starting point is 00:44:23 I don't know that's because of her sister, or whatever it might be, but she likes Minecraft now and she wants to get. So she gave, I said, remember that. I told you guys that story when I took her to the screening. I took her into the city. So what did you think? Like Joaquin Phoenix and gladiator.
Starting point is 00:44:39 But now she liked it. it so you never know with her she's I mean she is hilarious I tell you guys this one I I'm I don't know if I told you the story or not I think I I'm sure I have but I said to her we like to we goof on each other and I said to her she said something to me and I go your breath stinks and she's you're ugly I go yeah well you look just like me she says yeah I'm the better looking version perfect she's she's she is a riot she's she wants she wants to do a reaction I said no She was trying to sell me on doing a reaction.
Starting point is 00:45:13 And I said, I just, I'm not putting my kids on the internet. So anyway, all right, guys. Like I said, if you want to keep the show going, up to you. If not, you're going to do a short show today. Totally fine. But let's start, let's start off with this one. DG. D.DL method acting, throwing metal junk at folks.
Starting point is 00:45:35 He does throw a lot of stuff, doesn't he? Daniel Day Lewis. Tyler B, saw Thunderbolts again, loved it. I think I'm surprised that it didn't have more repeat viewing, Tyler. But yeah, I dig that one. I'm excited to show Sam that one. Sam and I have the Hawkeye finale coming out tomorrow. And then we're going to have Moon Night episodes 1 and 2 come out on Friday.
Starting point is 00:46:02 We'll finish up Moon Night. And I think Dr. Strange multiverse of madness is after that. Um, so we are going to do, so we're going back and forth on what we're going to do. We are going to do Ms. Marvel, um, because I think it's, I think it's relevant. She's got to, she's going to be too confused if we see, she's not going to have the same emotional attachment. When the Marvels does come out, she's not going to, she's got it. She's got to see, uh, Kamala.
Starting point is 00:46:30 She has to. Come on. Um, so that one. We're not, I'm, I'm, I'm, at one point. I posted said we're going to do she Hulk. We're not doing Shihulk. I can't do it. I can't. I can't do it again. So and it's not relevant to anything right now. And we're not doing secret invasion. But I think we're doing everything else, I think. Anyway, Greenie from Oz, as much I'd love to see it, but Daniel DeLuis has Magneto kind of feels about as likely as the Tarantino directing Star Trek story.
Starting point is 00:47:03 That was close. That was close. The question is, because I think he was sign on and do it, or he was talking about doing it. That was close. This would have to get close in order to be even close to that story. I don't think there's going to get that close. Noah C, happy Monday. The studio looks great. Thank you, Noah.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Thank you to Brett. Brett worked hard. Curious to hear your thoughts regarding the music of Andrews seasons two, given your love of soundtracks. I liked the second season soundtrack. I think it was relevant to what they did. And it worked. And this is the thing.
Starting point is 00:47:36 And I've said this many times over. I'm going to tell you I'll get you a second way. There are certain shows that I think need to infuse the John Williams stuff, right? Anything with Jedi has to, should infuse some themes and make it, make of your own. I think they could have used some infusion in this, but it wasn't as necessary to say, Obi-Wan. They didn't, they mean, the only person that's done it really well is Kevin Kiner, who's the best. but I liked it. I liked what they did. I really liked what they did in this for sure.
Starting point is 00:48:14 So Tim Sim, well, Tim, catching up with the last two episodes of Andor after coming back from Vegas trip, but I'm confident to say this season's 4.85 as one of the best Star Wars shows, no doubt. It'll be interesting to rewatch Rogue One and a new hope. Absolutely, Tim. You and I are not always on the same page when it comes to Star Wars stuff, my friend, but we are on the same page for this one. It is easily one of the best. I mean, not only one of the best Star Wars One of the best Star Wars pieces of content that they've done in a very long time. And I actually think that watching Andor Season 1, Season 2, Rogue 1, 4, 5, and 6 is a very new, interesting, great experience in general for people. Now, when Sam finally watches Star Wars, I don't know if he'll be able to do that because I don't know if I can get her to invest all the way into Andor without really kind of know what's going on and all.
Starting point is 00:49:04 but it'd be hard to try to watch all those again with her but eventually you know i don't know i don't know we'll see um thank you again everybody who's been putting the questions and we're 19 already i'll take it i'll take it fasia bruta grazi for being a channel platform and a that is a positive space thanks man positivity isn't about loving everything it's about being honest gratsy pasam Thank you. And I'm glad you said that. That's what people don't understand. That's what people don't understand.
Starting point is 00:49:40 You can be, you can, you can, where do that go, Fasia? Where did it go? The fact that you can have the conversation, I thought the conversation that me, Winston, and Coy had the other day about when it came to the Magneto and Professor Exting was, to me, what I like to do in this channel. I knew people in the comments section were going to take it the wrong way and they were going to go crazy. I looked, I looked at some of them.
Starting point is 00:50:02 I looked at some of them. And I said, it's just predictable. I just, I can't do that. But the conversation itself was what I was talking about. You can have a conversation about whatever it is and treat people like human beings, right? Like I said, I really wish I could find that comment. I don't mind if you say, if you look at the Superman trailer and you say, hey, I think it looks like shit. I don't like it. It's not anything I want to see. But if you're an absolute moron that comes in and goes, it doesn't, you're not even paying attention because like I said, you go to the second, my second scene, that scene with the dog, I said, oh, that looks goofy.
Starting point is 00:50:36 I don't know, I don't know if this is the whole movie. I don't know. I don't know if I'm going to be on board with this. I said, and then the end picked up so many people. I'm a DC hater, this, this and this. And then you get this, and then you get another moron in this one. It was like, oh, you got to be getting paid to give this one, I go review, huh? And it's like, hey, moron.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Here's the thing. And I said something along the lines. I can't, I don't remember what it was. But I was like, I was like, no, you can't be this stupid. I said, do me a favor. I said, I promise you, you're a good person. Look into the mirror and tell yourself, like Stuart, people like me, and you're good, and then jog, and then go and buy yourself some eggs and make a great omelet.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Make that omit, turn it around, and then you know what, do a little dance. Why don't you do a little dance and make yourself feel better? And then just spin around, jump up and down, eat some jelly beans. Do whatever you need to do, because what you're doing with your life right now sucks. And something along those lines like that. And then he just made this face. That was it. Just like that.
Starting point is 00:51:37 But anyway, I don't know what the hell I was talking about. Pilely came in and messed up the whole thing. Unbelievable. The guy thinks he loses 100 pounds and he can do whatever he wants. Unbelievable. It looks good, though. Tim Sim, that said,
Starting point is 00:51:53 one of the few here who likes the other Star Wars show that others find lacking, I'm not against more mature content, but I don't want to lose the more right, a lighthearted, wonderful, and fun content if they can be done better for more folks. I don't disagree with you, sir. I don't disagree with you that I don't think
Starting point is 00:52:08 everything should be mature, dark, and all that. I agree with you. I just think it needs to be well written. And I think that that's the case is that we haven't had well-written stuff. We need more well-written, detailed stuff. Take these characters, and I use this example all the time until I'm as blue as these walls.
Starting point is 00:52:29 there's a scene that you're like, oh, you freaking had it in, in, uh, Obi-One when he's talking about his brother in that, that's when he's talking, I think he's talking to young lay and he's telling about her brother and like, get more detail. Go into that stuff. Let's let's get more detail and let's build these characters out. Instead, you know, monsters and running around in the forest and all this other nonsense and there's, there's no depth to it. And these 25 minute to 30 minute episodes.
Starting point is 00:52:59 You don't, Andor had time to breathe, 45 minutes to 55 minute episodes. You have time to breathe. If you make this faster, search quicker, this is what George says, and that's it. That's going to be the problem. You've got to have better writing. So, we'll see what happens. Murph or Durf. I understand the love for Andor episodes eight, but to me, nine might be the best single hour of Star Wars ever.
Starting point is 00:53:25 What I love about all of that is that you can make the case for, Eight being incredible. You can make the case for nine being incredible, 10 being incredible, 11 being incredible, 12. It's like a boom, boom, boom, boom. I was talking to my friend, Fred, who went to the Yankee game with, and he was talking about how,
Starting point is 00:53:41 because he didn't like the first three episodes. And I told him, I said, stick in there, dude, I said, stick with it. You're going to be raving about this thing, and he was gushing about it. The whole time where the game, he was gushing about Andor and how great it was. 22, so far, guys, 22.
Starting point is 00:53:57 Let's keep going. whatever again got me whatever you want to ask let's do it so it someone said i didn't love mission impossible um no i didn't love it but i but i didn't dislike it and i and like i said someone said you should have seen that final destination over mission impossible uh-uh i liked watching mission impossible in the theater it's just it's long a little long but it look i mean it's it's a theater experience so i had i had to see that in the theater i wouldn't i would do it i would do it all the same way tim sim finally the only way I can think of more Star Wars shows like Andor to be made is between the original trilogy
Starting point is 00:54:32 films with Rebels in the shadows of war with one of Andor's writers. But Willemann, as showrunner, maybe with Gilroy as executive producer, Willowry said he's done with Star Wars, but we'll, we'll see. But I don't think that's the only way, Tim. I don't agree with you there between the O.T. films, I mean, I think you could do, you could really build out the old republic in that style. Because the problem is, when you now think of Andor, you think of non-Jetai, non-lightsabers, all this is my point with Obi-Wan. You could have done a style of show like and or for Obi-Wan. You could have made that, now, not every show should be as dark and, you know, and serious.
Starting point is 00:55:12 And I agree with you, Tim, you should have that more fun vibe. Like, Mandalorian has that fun vibe. I still, even with Mandalorian, though, season two was pretty phenomenal. And I think that you could have, again, made those a little bit more layered. Season three definitely suffered from them getting more into the act. animated writing side of it and less about like like I always bring up the Katie Sackoff sign was when she she had this speech and she talked she in their interview when I interviewed her she talked about it and it was this speech that she was going to give to all the main audience was cut down
Starting point is 00:55:42 dramatically you got to give the characters time to build and have moments like that and that is what I hope happens and you can do that in the old republic it doesn't have to be in between the OT films 26 questions. All right. You guys are coming in hot now. Mike Joyce, looking forward to your bloodlines reaction.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Some of the kills in it are brutally awesome. CGI is atrocious, though. Which one is? I don't even know. I had such a brain fart, by the way. What is bloodlines? What the hell is? Oh, Bloodlines, Final Destination.
Starting point is 00:56:21 This morning, something happened in my house and I needed to, there was a code I needed. And my brain just went out. I do this code every day. As they just, because it, nope, you're not going to remember the code right now.
Starting point is 00:56:32 And then I remembered it after it. It was too late. I was like, oops. Some of the kills are brutally awesome. CGI's atrocious, so it can't be any worse than that 3D one. That thing was terrible. Really,
Starting point is 00:56:43 really bad. But I'm excited to see the movie. I am, I am especially, and especially excited to see it with Tina. We get to watch the whole franchise together. Tim, to clarify,
Starting point is 00:56:53 I'm not against the lighter, more fun, and adventures content to be made with the stress, or the more, and or like creative execution and or like character development. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I agree with you, Tim. I think that Light and more fun adventure just has to have that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:57:07 We're on the same page here, but absolutely. It's like, please, just treat it, treat every show like you're trying to make, you know, like award winning stuff and you want to get, but you want like really good quality. You can make shows. If you're going to do shorter shows, you can still make it detailed. You don't always have to have a big CG. monster in the middle and they're battling a big CGA monster. It takes up
Starting point is 00:57:31 six minutes of the freaking episode. You don't always have to do that. And I'm so interested to see how Asoka's season two is going to be. That's going to be very telling in general. Okay. Let's see. I've seen a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:57:49 I guess I just put myself in the shot from now on. What does that say? What someone said? Someone, I went, um, okay. Again, we guys were at 29 so far. Okay, I'll take it. I think Roxy's wiped the floor with me tomorrow, but still. Christian unpronounceable.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Have you started watching MurderBot yet? No, you know, I had an opportunity to watch the whole season about a month ago. They reached out to me and potential interviews. I just, my, my schedule is so, it's tough, it's tough to get to this stuff. And is it any good? I'm curious to hear it's got, I was, I was excited about it. excited to see how it is. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Someone's in my, there's a, listen, my little one is a pain in the ass when it comes to movies. We're trying to get her to watch the original, like, Lillian Stitch. I tried to get her to watch so many things. Let me see if I can get her on the phone. Let's see if I can get her on the phone. Let me see. If I can get my, let me see, let me see.
Starting point is 00:58:55 My wife will pick up because, let me see. I'm going to say two things. Let's see if I can get the little one on the phone. I'm going to try. Because she's something sick today, by the way. Oh, yeah. Hey, so I'm still on the air. You called me a two dirty on the air.
Starting point is 00:59:16 I talked about it. So, hey, is Maisie around? Yeah, she's right here. All right. Hi, Maisie, you're right. Guess what? You just talked about how you wanted to be YouTube famous. You're talking to my audience now.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I have a question for you, okay? So what's your favorite movie? What is? Wicked. Oh, Wicked. Okay. All right. Wicked.
Starting point is 00:59:44 So, but what did you tell me the other day when I told you when I asked you? What? Minecraft movie and Wicked. Okay. So what did you think about Skeleton Crew? The Star Wars thing I showed you. It's okay. Oh, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:59:57 I thought you said it stinks. Okay. Oh, okay. What didn't you like about it? It was kind of boring. Oh, okay. Fair enough. Did you like the elephant kid?
Starting point is 01:00:15 What? The one that looks like an elephant? It was weird. Oh, so you like that kid? All right. Apparently not. Apparently not. All right, anyway, so I was telling the audience about,
Starting point is 01:00:31 I tried to get her to watch the Star Wars thing, and she looked at me, she said, this stinks. Anyway. Really, amazing? Okay. All right. Maisie, so how about some of other classics we try to get you to watch? How can we never want to watch anything that we get you to try to watch?
Starting point is 01:00:51 Easy. Hello? I'm going to forget it. Answer daddy. Well, what are you saying? She's really locked into this. I forget it.
Starting point is 01:00:59 All right, I'll talk to you later. Bye. I told you. That's Joe Pesci. R.J. McR. McR.J. McRey, is Andrew the best Star Wars since Empire since Return of the Jedi? Best written? Best written?
Starting point is 01:01:14 I think it's the best written since Empire. Yes. Greenie from Oz. It also has more opportunity to be. There's just more of it. Greeny from Oz. Del Toro and Frankenstein, such a good combo. Agreed.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Tyler Pfeiffer. Sam will love Agatha all along, I think. I think so too, but because I reacted with those with Sadie and it was so recent, I think I'm just going to have Sam watch that on her own. And I don't know if it ties in anything also. So I don't think I'm going to rewatch that. I'll ask her, she really liked Wanda Vision. So I'll probably have her watch that on her own. She said she would watch some of the stuff on her own.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Alex, what's up, man, where you've been? Beyond happy, you decided to do Miss Marvel. Yeah, I just think it's kind of have to. And I like that show, too. Jeremiah Wise, bingeed Moblin this weekend. I catch up. Christian, whenever you get around it, you're going to love it. The cast and writing are awesome.
Starting point is 01:01:58 That one for me, Jeremiah, is just me. I just got to find time to watch it on my own. What I need to do is my next thing I'm going to watch by myself is Squid Game, and I'm going to review it for the channel one and two so I can then do three reactions for sure. I don't agree with you. Someone said civil discussion. It doesn't exist anymore. It does on this channel.
Starting point is 01:02:16 It does with people who want to be human. That I don't agree with. That doesn't exist anymore. No, I think, I think, you know, if you look at majority because social media, is atrocious that you're going to see a lot of trash and people going after each other, but doesn't exist anymore? That is just straight out false. It exists. You just got to find the people who actually are civilized humans to do it. But yes, it does. It absolutely exists. Okay. The real red five. I popped an edible and watched Lord of the Rings War of Rehrim,
Starting point is 01:02:50 and pleasantly were Hiram, whatever, who cares? And was puzzling surprise how good it was i liked it too i think me and you the real red are the only two people in the world that liked it matt sarah gave me so much shit about that that movie i like that movie also what order are you going to show star wars to sam i don't know i'm i'm battling with that but it's going to be quite a while before we even do it because i think i feel like this is what i'm going to do i think that i'm going to do marvel finish it up take a break and show her one or to whether she's never seen the majority of Christopher Nolan movies. So I'm going to show her like Inception or something else.
Starting point is 01:03:30 And then jump in probably to either the X-Men and then maybe Harry Potter and then Lord of the Rings and then Star Wars. She's dreading Star Wars, by the way. But we have, I don't remember who we'll get it to it to it to this year. I think that we probably get to it closer to when Mandelaarine and Grogu come out, you know. So we got to see. Um, okay, Armada. How you doing now, you know, Belle Bift of Do?
Starting point is 01:03:55 Bring on the nonsense. Now you know. Thank you. Armada. You're going to have Dice on the show? Also, warfare reaction. Warfare reaction will probably be me by myself. I realize I'm going to do a couple of reactions by myself.
Starting point is 01:04:09 I'm going to do that by myself. I'll do Leland Stitch by myself. And then, dice. I love that dice on the show. I don't have that kind of relationship with Dice. Greenie from Oz. Just rewatch Rogue One after 10 and 12.
Starting point is 01:04:21 And man, it's so much different a very good way. I hear that from everybody. I'm excited. I've been waiting to rewatch it with Sam. I probably should, I should probably just watch it. You watch it. Noah,
Starting point is 01:04:32 I haven't. All right. Let's see. Any trailer out of Cannes that you enjoyed, I haven't watched any of them. I told you that there's a new rule that I've set for myself. Unless there's something that I'm going to react to that you guys and we're going to talk to or something that I have to watch for the channel so we can discuss it,
Starting point is 01:04:49 I've been avoiding trailers because I know I'm going to see the majority of these movies. So I'm going to walk into the movie, not knowing anything. I like not knowing anything about these movies. 33, with the potential that we're going to get the hell out of here soon, unless you guys want to, there's anything else you want to talk about? Noah C. How would you recommend someone getting into Star Wars that they've never seen it?
Starting point is 01:05:09 Do you start with the OG trilogy and backtrack? I feel that Andor Rogue One hits differently because I knew where it was going. Yeah, I mean, it is interesting. If you can get, because look, Andor is one of these things. if someone who's never seen Star Wars, though, and they can lock in because, and they're not expecting, you know, just pew, pew and lightsabers and all that stuff, if you can get someone to lock in the Andrews season one and season two first,
Starting point is 01:05:34 it might be the way to go. One, two, Rogue one, three, four, five, six, and then potentially jumping back to one, two, three. And then if you want to watch seven, eight, nine. But yeah, that's, that's kind of how I do it, I think. Did that one. That one, okay. Let's see. And now we got Sean McCabe.
Starting point is 01:05:59 You have some rosed into glasses if you think old Republic era works ground like Andor, that you 100% could do that with all of the darkness that is going on in that show, with all of the politics that's happening between both the Sith Army and the Jedi army. I do not have roasted glasses on. I have glasses on that say, oh, yeah, this makes total sense with everything that's going with the politics in that particular era, with trying to make sure, with the Jedi that are trying to balance what's going on with Revin and Malick. Yeah, we disagree, my friend.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Sean McCabe spent the weekend watching Andor to Rogue to a New Hope. And I'm sure it was fantastic, right? I'm excited for that one. Okay. Let's see. Armada. Maybe Tony Gilroy writes and directs the next Bourne. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:50 I mean, anything he does, I'm down. Larry Quirtowitz did you see get to see flight or fight no I was gonna watch it this weekend actually it was like crank put on a plane some some really crazy kills and a decent story but doesn't take itself too seriously no I didn't I didn't get a chance to see it yet but I do want to see it um anything else let's see okay see even kids don't like Star Wars anymore I mean my don't face that my my daughter doesn't like anything Noah Sparks are people still invested in the Mandoverse There's so many months between projects and they hardly ever move forward to any significant plot.
Starting point is 01:07:28 If you ask Dave Filoni, he probably thinks everybody. He probably still thinks it's number one. Yeah. Anyway. Okay, let's see. Yeah, I'm telling you. What do you say? That's my daughter all the time.
Starting point is 01:07:42 The what now? What she says? Simon section. You missed final destination six. Ft, final destination six and a couple of super chats. Well, I know that a couple of supertests. Luke, is there something? Do we miss them? I guess there are some, wait.
Starting point is 01:08:02 No, that's not the comment. That's not the comment, Luke. It was on Facebook. It was a very long comment. Let's see, yeah, they really are found that it was final. Yeah, they really are also found it. It was not sure. So, Luke, he said that there's some super chats that we're missing. Can you see if that is indeed the case?
Starting point is 01:08:23 Because I'm not seeing it. and if so we're at 39 right now okay so randy says he missed one too for some reason stream yards really it's got to get their shit together but luke's going to send them to me and then i'll read the rest of them Ethan leharis VA how do you feel about episode six of last of us so Ethan i didn't watch it because i usually have an opportunity to watch it early and i didn't get the episode until kind of late um so i wasn't able to check it out Um, and I'm basically going to wait.
Starting point is 01:08:58 I'm going to wait to do six and seven together next week. So I'll watch both. So I'm asking about the Knicks. Yeah, I didn't even talk about the Knicks. What a game Friday night was one of the best nights for New York, uh, sports in general. For me, Yankees beat the Mets that night. And then the Knicks, uh, whipped up on the Celtics to go. I think that I think the Knicks, Nixon six or Knicks and seven.
Starting point is 01:09:19 What was hilarious was that being on the train on the way back from the, uh, from the game, the Yankee game that because the Yankees and the Mets you know as we're coming back there's a bunch of Met fans and I've never seen anything like this was hilarious a bunch of drunk people who at one point that I've seen but they there's like a section of Met fans that like started to go let's go Mets let's go Mets and within seconds it went from this little group going let's go Mets within seconds to the whole train saying let's go Nix it was it was bizarre great so bizarre Um, Ethan,
Starting point is 01:09:55 who says, definitely think you show Sam Star Wars in chronological order. Every time people I know watch the release order, they tell me they regret it. I cannot show her episodes one, two, and three first. She'll jump out the window. I can't.
Starting point is 01:10:09 I can't. She's got to know the characters first. She's got to know young Anakin and all that. I mean, maybe one and two. I'm just telling you, if I show her episodes one and two first, she's going to have a really bad and like I said
Starting point is 01:10:25 I've come to I've come to enjoy the prequels for what they are she is if those are the first Star Wars movie she's ever going to see I think it's a mistake to do it that way to be honest I just do Travis H, hey Christian big fan
Starting point is 01:10:40 keep on keeping on thank you Travis very very kind of you let's see so Luke let me know if you've found any other ones Alex I think Wiccan and Agatha will be part of the Avengers films and maybe even Vision Quest. I think the Max Offer Union will be a big part of Secret Wars for a Wiccan Wanda Magneto moment.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Yeah, like I said, I'm going to have Sam check out Wanda Vision on her own. I'm going to say, look, you should, Wanda Vision, sorry, Agatha. I'm going to say, you should watch this show. So she likes, she really loved Agatha in WandaVision. So I said, you should watch it. I've seen it. And then what we could do is maybe just get her review a bit afterwards. But she should, she should check it out.
Starting point is 01:11:16 And you know what I could do? I could do that. No, but now I was going to say I could have her do it on her own. But that's still that time that I would, that's time that we could be doing stuff. So I don't, I don't think it works. Okay. So I guess Luke sent me the email for, I don't know why it does. Look, do we have any idea why it does this?
Starting point is 01:11:38 Why? Because I haven't how many, there's like a whole, there's like a ton of them. It's so bizarre. It's so bizarre. Let me. I'm going to, you know, I'm going to break up. I'm going to make a screenshot of these. Every time it does it.
Starting point is 01:11:52 Thank God for Luke because like he's got to go through like the analytics in order to find it through YouTube in order to do to do this. It's so stupid. I don't know why it like it literally deletes or doesn't you. I mean, I didn't close anything down this time around. So I don't know why I did it. So Google also let me know what the what the total is. Because I don't, I guess I have a different total.
Starting point is 01:12:14 I don't know why it does that. All right. So there's quite a few and I'll make sure. I'm going to load them into the system in that way. Everybody who missed out on their questions, don't worry. This is why Luke is here. He helps us out with this. So let me just,
Starting point is 01:12:27 I'm going to go through all the ones that we have that I have in front of me. And then I have all the ones that we miss. So don't worry. Cool cash, CG. Thoughts on Ironheart, dropping three episodes for its premiere and ending the next week with three episodes of following making a show dead and arrival.
Starting point is 01:12:42 I don't necessarily know what's going to make it dead on arrival, but they're probably going to want it to be, you know, the conversation until Fantastic Four comes out. But yeah, it's not going to be water cooler. It's going to be boom, boom, boom. But maybe they also have seen it. And they're like, okay, there's only so much that people are going to be locked into
Starting point is 01:13:01 this show. But it doesn't, it doesn't fare well for it. It doesn't fare well for it, for sure at all. Okay. Let's see. Noah C. Do you know any writers that could create a story as compelling as Gilroy? I mean, there's tons of writers out there that could, that could, that could do.
Starting point is 01:13:18 it and that could actually but the the difference is this there are a lot of writers and capable writers out there that you put into a system and they get I don't want to say bullied but they get intimidated or they just kind of maybe bend the knee a little bit or they go okay is that's what you want then I'll change it up and and Tony Gilroy ain't that person he's this is the show I'm doing he's not going to back down to anybody and he's done and he's going to he's going to put up a fight and he's been around for a bit you got to find someone like that also um and by the way it's this is not i don't know if i've mentioned this to you guys or not i haven't even i don't even know how far away i am from this i don't even know i have no idea
Starting point is 01:14:00 this could be this could be a month from now this could be a year from now but i'm writing something with a friend of mine when we're doing we've been doing these writing sessions it's an idea that i got for a long time but it's a writing session and basically we're going to try to do it and put people from this show in and everything too. You know, we'll do this. DJ was the one who kind of inspired me to do this. We'll probably do one of the, the Kickstarter, whatever to do to try to,
Starting point is 01:14:24 we want to shoot it like a Netflix pilot. It's going to be like a 30-minute pilot with people that, you know. And we're going to do, and someone you don't know. It's a friend of mine who'll probably be in the co-lead with me. But we're going to try to do something. And just something similar to what I did with grasping and straws all those years ago, but I'll keep you updated on it,
Starting point is 01:14:48 but we're just in the writing stages now. But it's fair, I'd tell you guys about it. We're going to run a campaign on it once we're ready to go. Ethan, Lynn Harris, VA, Disney really needs to lock in and hire more Oscar Emmy level talent for Star Wars like Tony Go Roy. They have the money and just need to be more selective. Yeah, but remember, Ethan, and this is not your fault. Everybody does this. You say Disney really needs to lock in.
Starting point is 01:15:13 Lucasfilm needs to lock it in. Lucasfilm needs to be a Disney needs to sign off on it, obviously, and give them the money. They have to have the money to do it. But it's Lucasville. Lucasville needs to lock in and hire more Oscar Emmy level talent. 100%. They're the ones and you have to go out there and do this and they should continue.
Starting point is 01:15:29 But that's my problem, what they're going to do. They're going to wind up giving the keys to the castle to Faloni. And you're going to get the same stuff that you've been getting. Nathan Drake, final destination six was the best, second best in my opinion, an amazing opening scene. Okay, I've heard nothing but great things. I've heard great things about it. Sunny Times.
Starting point is 01:15:48 How should Disney bring Darth Plagas back? If they, okay, so this is another one, by the way. You could do an and or style show, not after in between the, this is, again, Tim, to go back to combat you a little bit,
Starting point is 01:16:04 but you could adapt the Darth Plagas novel, make it six episodes, just like the tone of, of andor. and you can just adapt the Lucino novel. How they haven't adapted some of their novels is crazy. I've said this a million times over. All right. Ethan Linh Harris.
Starting point is 01:16:22 Zero chance we get Daniel DeLewis. Wish we could, though. Yeah, I'd say, I'd say a 1% chance. I never say 0, but say 1. Okay. Andrew Gavulka. Hey, Christian, what's your prediction for Lilo and Stitch opening weekend? And will you do an out of the theater reaction? Yeah, yeah, I'm doing a out of the theater tonight
Starting point is 01:16:38 for that, for sure. Um, and what's my prediction on it? I got to let me, can I let me answer. Andrew, I'm going to answer that tomorrow. I got to see it first. I got to see it. But like I said, there's no, there's nothing for families to see right now. I think it's going to crush.
Starting point is 01:16:56 I think it's going to crush. Brainy from Oz, Sam on the Harry Potter reactions will be awesome. Yeah, it's going to be great. I'm so curious to see what she's going to like the most. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. I think Harry Potter. Nathan Drake, Magic fan here. I hate the Celtics.
Starting point is 01:17:09 Respect to the Knicks. you and me both. I'm so excited. Man, it was such great. So great. C Black. I think Fantastic Four makes a billion. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:17:22 I don't know what makes a billion. I would put a, I'd probably bet, again, I'd probably say closer to, if it's good, I'd probably say closer to 7,800, but we'll see. Carlton Rutter, London calling. Hey, Christian, just checking in, show you love and support. We'll catch a show tomorrow. Thank you, Carlton.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Loving the crisp new look, Mission Impossible ones. They will thank you on all of that. And I really appreciate that. And Carlton, I hope you're doing well, my man. Okay. Let's see. Next one. And this is Ethan Lynn Harris.
Starting point is 01:17:55 In my personal experience, I think there's this weird generational gap where, I'm hilarious. Luke was trying to find that Superman comment. He's like, it's some of the worst comments every. It's horrible. It's like a, it's like a, it's like, uh, escape from New York.
Starting point is 01:18:14 This is so stupid. It's like it's so it's such weird oh shit. It's so weird. People get that angry about movies. In my personal appearance, I think that there's this weird generational gap where everyone I know my age and younger love the prequel so much despite their horrific flaws. I'm 27.
Starting point is 01:18:34 I get your reasoning. Yeah. No, no, no. It's not. Look, again, I enjoy the prequels now. And I didn't.
Starting point is 01:18:43 I gave him shit for a long time. And I've mentioned it a million times over Ethan. It's because I watch it through my kids' eyes. But if you're showing someone like Sam, who was my age, these movies for the first time, Ethan, when you saw the prequels, you were probably seven years old, eight years old. Those are initially who those movies are really intended for.
Starting point is 01:19:04 So you watch those movies that they, of course you're going to be in love with them and you should be in love with them. You watch them now, first time, you're going to notice some of the flaws. for the first time you're not going to lock into it the same way that you lock into these other movies especially and i just know sam i just really know it um okay let's see there's someone said nonfiction for my for my for my pilot that i'm doing yes it's no it's fiction but it's it's going to be it's going to be a dromedy more in the in the style of like kind of we're going to try to do something
Starting point is 01:19:35 in the style like kind of like the the bear something like that that's what we're trying to do um i'll let more people know yeah we're doing the cooley movie 100%. It's not grasping at straws too, but it's kind of adjacent. It's kind of adjacent. But it's going to be, it's going to be fun. I'm excited. I'm excited to do it. And once we really start putting it together, I'll give more and more updates about it. See Black. I really think Robert Danny Jr. has a major role in Fantastic Four. That's why I say a billion. Shackman said he knew about R. DJ over a year ago. I don't think it's a major rule. I think he's going to show up in the post credit scenes. But you could be right. We'll see.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Joe Hendo TV, will you be seeing the shoemaker cut in L.A. on May 29th? Is that the Batman and Robin? Really? Is that or or Batman forever? I heard but rumblings. I didn't know that actually was happening. But I'm not in L.A. I'm not going to L.A. to go see that.
Starting point is 01:20:33 Yeah. No, I won't be in L.A. Probably for a while. So Noah Sparks, how do you think how to train your dragon will do? I think that will also crush. 100%. Let me see. I'm going to add
Starting point is 01:20:48 let me add some of these. I'm going to add these pictures so I can get you guys. While I set these up, because I just hit, I hit the end of the ones that I can see. And now I'm going to put the ones that I can't see. And I'm going to make sure that you guys,
Starting point is 01:21:07 if you want to keep the show going up to you, can do some more. Just let me know if there's anything you want to talk about. I'm gonna but I missed quite a bunch apparently so let's put these up me get rid of this one okay let's say all right who wants to torture themselves with what I'm not sure what you're talking about okay oh the Batman Robin then okay here's the first mad sinister mccal Daniel is wearing the helmet at the dinner table oh anyway there must be this I have to watch this one first right sure we did that one already Randy Avinel taking the
Starting point is 01:21:42 fam to New York and will be there. The weekend Superman comes out. Where is the best theater to see soups and come out feeling like we're in Metropolis? Also seeing weird out at Madison Square Garden. Thanks for all. Well, that's awesome all the way around. You know, I wouldn't have been the answer that a year ago, but I would tell you that I like the IMAX in Times Square.
Starting point is 01:21:59 I like the Lincoln Center one also. I really, I'll tell you where I saw Wicked was the, what is it? Union Square. What's the Regal? That's a good one too. You can't go wrong with any one of those three theaters. I would say for Superman, one of those three for sure. Okay, let's see.
Starting point is 01:22:20 Where is Austin B? throwing some support since you're flying solo today. Thank you, Austin B. Christian Unpronounceable. Let's get this started. That's very kind to you. Again, you guys are really stepping up today. I really appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Matt Sinnerston McHale, Daniel is wearing the helmet at the dinner table. I think, did we miss one there? The first one? I don't miss something there. Simon's section. I would have preferred Daniel. Daniel DeLuis. Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Oh, I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying. Never mind. Daniel DeLuze. Simon section. I would have preferred Daniel DeLewis to play Dr. Doom back in the day and hear him scream to his fellow lost and stay alive no matter what occurs.
Starting point is 01:22:56 I will find you and drink your milkshake. Yeah, having him scream, he's got just such an intimidating yell. And then Magneto yelling would be him yelling as Magneto would be pretty crazy. And Bill the Butcher man, go pal. It's an amazing performance. But every time he'll and mirror, Helen Mirren comes on. Creamer Mobbley and I say, fucking have one now.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Yeah, she's, she's so good, though, man. She's so good. Is that everything that I've got there so far? I want to make sure, Luke,
Starting point is 01:23:22 that I have everything. Yeah. So, let's see. There's some more. Andrew Kravalka. Do you think it would be Doom who's in the ship
Starting point is 01:23:35 at the end of Thunderbolts, not Fantastic Four? Do you think it would be Doom who's in the ship at the end of Thunderbolts? do you think it would be Doom was in the ship at the end of something? Maybe. Maybe.
Starting point is 01:23:47 That would be interesting. That would be interesting and a good swerve. But I think it's fantastic for it because I think they're going to be recruiting everybody. Ethan Laris, VA, Revenge of the Sith is one of my greatest childhood memories. Right. Dad took me out of school in third grade to take me and my siblings to see it. That's cool. That's fun.
Starting point is 01:24:07 That's pretty crazy, though, too, third grade. I remember seeing that in L.A. when I was there. Mark Jason Ali, are you still writing with Sasha Pearl Raver? No, not on this one. This is not. This is my friend that actually Mark and I started rotten tomatoes with when we're doing our Rotten Tomatoes show and the other stuff that we did together when we started Shmoz.
Starting point is 01:24:31 She was essentially going to start a Shmose. My friend Martini, Martinique, is going to be writing this with me. Ethan Lynn Harris. Are you excited for Fallout season two? I got to finish season one. So, um, okay,
Starting point is 01:24:46 so currently we are at, I think, 58. 58. Pretty damn good. Um, I think that I'll take it. I'll take it.
Starting point is 01:24:58 I mean, Roxy again, we'll kick the piss out of us, for sure. And let's get anything else you guys want to talk about. Let me know. If not, then make sure you head on
Starting point is 01:25:10 over to the clips channel. Christian Harlowff clips are almost at 10,000 over there. And check this out before we do. If you want to throw any more questions, why I show you this. You can. If not, we'll see on the flip side, but let's, let me show you this.
Starting point is 01:25:27 It's me on a clips channel. What's going on, everybody? I've been telling you guys about it, and we always get people saying, hey, where are the time codes? Where are the time codes? And sometimes the time codes just aren't easy to do. Sometimes we have,
Starting point is 01:25:39 You guys are doing the time codes and we're posting them. But what we are able to do is take the channel and clip it out. So if you miss this live, if you miss the show live and you miss the segments and you're not able to catch up, well, now you have a clips channel. You can go over there. You can subscribe to the channel and you can see all the clips. And it's not just a clips from this show. It's clips from interviews that I've done and other things.
Starting point is 01:26:02 We're trying to build it up. We're trying to get to 10,000 soon. I think we can do it. We're closing in online. So hopefully you guys will go on over. there check it out subscribe to the channel and i'll see you over there you go uh two left and andrew gavola i think the avengers might side with doom and fight the x-men i don't know doomsday i think he's going to take everybody out and he's going to wreck a lot of the avengers
Starting point is 01:26:27 i think he's going to kill everybody d men 5 if they can't get lewis to play magnino i think this is he's got to find the problem is he's doing everything right uh as You can't go wrong with him. They just got him for Hunger Games, though. I will say what's funny is my, my oldest is like paying attention to all the Hunger Games update. She's like obsessed with the hungry games right now. And she said the same thing.
Starting point is 01:26:53 She's like, the whole family wants to know why they didn't get Kiefer Seleland to play snow. They should have. They absolutely should have. I love Ray Fines, but not. But Kiefer would have been great and a great way to honor his pops. Simon section. A, the best like dramas, so will they be seen?
Starting point is 01:27:15 I don't know if I got that one, Simon. Best like drama, so I don't, I don't think I understood that one, buddy. Noah Sparks. Studio looks great. Any other changes coming? Yeah, I'm going to probably hang some more stuff on the back wall there. Some of the stuff fell off. I just got a bunch of different strips.
Starting point is 01:27:32 Changes as far as the studio goes. I mean, I got to clean it up, but, you know, I'm going to get the Y shot working again, a little bit more. But Luke's been working on some overlays and other things that we're going to do. I'd love to get some of the crew, some of their cameras and things working a little better, to be honest. We keep trying to work with Roxy's Internet, but it's a computer, rather, Mike's Internet. So I'd love to get there.
Starting point is 01:27:58 I'd love to up their stuff also, but we'll get what we can get. But no, this is, this is the, this is actually, Brett actually texting me before and said you might have a couple more updates. for the lighting. Let's see. The next one. Tyler Fyfer, Hunt for Gallum has a chance to be really special.
Starting point is 01:28:16 It feels like they're taking their time to come up with the best script possible. I certainly hope so. That one you can wait a little bit. It's not like the Batman too, right? You can take your time on that one. I'm excited to see what they do with that,
Starting point is 01:28:26 but they need to take their time with that. I couldn't agree more. So what about the channel content too? As far as channel slash content too, I don't necessarily know what that means. But I think that one of the things for, So what I did today, by the way, because I know the unedited reactions, people really respond to those things and they love them, especially for memberships and patrons.
Starting point is 01:28:46 So today, PLD, I sent him. The problem was that I was editing them, right? And the editing of it doesn't take that long. But what does take is the uploads for them because they're really big files. And so I would get to one and then Luke would have the thumbnail. And then I'm like, oh, I didn't get a chance to get to it in time. So PLD is going to take over. And PLD is going to start putting it.
Starting point is 01:29:08 So you're probably going to start seeing a lot more of them now on. We're going to try to update all the ones that I, that I missed. And then once we catch up, then when we start putting out things in the movies, then we'll put the movies out and the reactions come up like the same day. So it's just trying to catch up in general. Can we do this one already? Yes.
Starting point is 01:29:28 And then Ethan, thank you, Ethan. Major, major support today. I really appreciate it. Great show today. Have a great day, Christian. Thank you, Ethan. Thank you for your support, my friend. I really appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:29:39 That's it. Thank you guys. I really, really appreciate it. Yeah, and anybody else asking, I will give, first of all, thank you for the support on the potential, the project that we're doing. I actually reached out to someone that you know, I'm not going to spoil anything yet about being a DP on the actual shoot itself.
Starting point is 01:29:59 And someone I think they can make it really look good. And we want it to look like a Netflix kind of FX show. That's the, that's the deal. And I want to make it around 26 to 28 minutes. Um, and the goal is to try to get it done within a year if we can do that. And then, you know, after we shoot it, we'll either try to see if we can get anything done with it. If it doesn't happen, then maybe just put it up on the channel and see. But we have, first of all, we got to get the thing funded because it's going to, you know,
Starting point is 01:30:30 it's, that's what's going to have to happen also. Simon section. Remember in the bear. Oh, and a sleep scene. the baseball yes yes yes yes yes yes no asshole yes yes yes 100 and that's kind of that's where we were talking when we're talking about the kind of the tone that we wanted it was the the bear meets kind of californication if you've ever seen that show it's kind of that type of thing um i think that's it thank you guys really appreciate you being here thanks for everyone who contributed
Starting point is 01:31:03 today. Sixty-five is what Luke said we have. So it's good. 65. Pretty damn good. Appreciate y'all being here. Thank you guys. Someone's asking when Hawkeyes, episode five and six comes out, hopefully tomorrow. I've been, I've been actually requesting them a day earlier so we don't run into problems where right now I'm looking at it and there's a, there's a copyright on the thing right now. So hopefully by tomorrow, the copyright will be off of it. Then I can release it. So thanks again, guys. for being here i really appreciate everything that you uh have done for the channel in general the support you gave me here today i had a really fun uh conversation with you all so
Starting point is 01:31:45 all right i'll see you check out my channel tonight for the out of the theater reaction of lelo and stitch we'll see you guys on the flip side bye bye
