Ladies and gentlemen... the weekend! On this Friday show we've got the amazing John Rocha hosting. He's joined by Brett Sheridan, Sabrina Ramirez, Ben Goddard, Winston A. Marshall, Alex Marzoña, and ...Malcolm Switzer. Today, we'll be talking about how Dave Filoni has apparently been the Executive Creative Director at Lucasfilm since last summer. No wonder the content's been so good! If you're fortunate enough, we might also discuss the new Borat content coming next week, Hocus Pocus 2 coming to Disney+ in 2022, and... wait what?! Starting point is 00:00:43 brand new episode S.E.N. Live this morning. I'm the outlaw, John Rook. I hanged out with you today with these awesome people and having a good time. We are going to get it all. We're going to set it off as they said back in the 90s. We're going to set it off and have a little fun today and talk about all kinds of entertainment news. Hey, in the high team, the whole episode is going to be in Spanish, get ready, and all kinds of things happening to the world. It's going to take you so much for joining us. I'm sitting there from Brother Kristen Harlov and joined by these awesome Sabrina Ramirez, how are you? I'm doing great. That intro was amazing, John.
Starting point is 00:01:18 That really set the tone for this Friday. We got Winston on, and the second he hopped on the call, he's just like, Sabrina, we're drinking. And I'm like this. So it's Friday. Young ins, go ahead and get drunk of the day. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Ben Goddard, you're here as well. What's up, Ben? Yeah, the only thing you missed, I was like, this is the story when people stop being fake and start being real. It had like that nice camera movements. I should have done that. It's Friday. Ladies and gentlemen, the weekend.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Ladies and gentlemen. So I'm ready to go. But yeah, it's fun, fun, fun. Some awesome. I were definitely going to get it done. You know, we couldn't do it without Winston. Hey, Marshall. Winston.
Starting point is 00:02:00 How are you, bro? It's Friday, then. It's Saturday, Sunday, what? It's Friday, then. It's Saturday, Sunday, what? It's Friday, then. It's Saturday, Sunday. And the man who always brings it every day he's on the planet.
Starting point is 00:02:22 One of the funniest gentleman on the planet. And I haven't seen him in a bit. I've missed him. Brett Sheridan, how are you, man? 47 years old. And jealous of his daughter who just got two auditions. And then also got book two commercials. We had to be on set with her all day and be chopped liver while she was the talent.
Starting point is 00:02:39 That was kind of weird and kind of made me sad. but also may be proud. Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Do all the working. Wow. She's not 18 yet. You get all the money.
Starting point is 00:02:54 She's on a veil for one more. So she's got, she's shooting one. She shot one last week. She's shooting one this week or next week. And then the following week she's on a bail for another one. Nice. Oh, but then damn, she's good. Yeah, she shot, she was a real trooper.
Starting point is 00:03:09 It was a full day. and I might become a full-time stage parent, and I'm not sad about it. You do the work. And, of course, the baby face, Alex Marzonia is here. What's up, Alex? How are you? Hey, guys.
Starting point is 00:03:23 I'm a little Navi in the corner. I did shave, so I do look like my little Navi avatar in the bottom corner of your screen. So nice to see you all. It's Friday. Roka, I am sad because I was watching the playback, and unfortunately, you're a little, your little vlogger thing
Starting point is 00:03:41 did not work because we didn't cut to it past enough. So you'll have to do that again at some point in the show. Malcolm, you son of a bitch. Malcolm, what the hell? Follow me when I'm doing things for God's sake. You should know that by now. What happened there, Malcolm? I have a process.
Starting point is 00:03:57 It doesn't matter what you think. All right, anyway. Go ahead. Next time. I'll get to make up for it. I swear to go. For it next time. Absolutely. Please, I need this job, Mr. Robb. You know, John, I just got to ask you, please tell me you've been following this Kwame Brown shit. Because I wasn't, I was.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I want us to do a watch alone. The me, you and J doing a watch alone would be stellar. It's an hour of 15 minutes. I watched 30 minutes and I was like, I want to do a watch alone with the guys. I can't finish this out. This is too brilliant. His views are exploding. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:32 From him just like fucking just taking out every, like, for those that don't know, Quarmy Brown was sick and tired of people making fun of the fact that he was a number one draft pick and was a bust. So he is gone at everyone. And he's like his his last three videos, 214,000 views, 94,000 views and the one that just ended 30,000 view. Like, homie is exposing everybody giving everyone the smoke. And it is like the funniest shit in the world. No one is safe. No one.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I saw the one where he just went out in Matt Barnes's throat for like 10 minutes. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he keeps singing about how Matt Barnes' his wife got taken away by Derek Fisher. He keeps so he literally can be like, someone's got the keys to your house and the stairs. Someone's driving your truck, eating your food.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I'm like, bro, you can't do this. Like, what are you doing? Tipping the tea, man. He's pulling out a Costco-sized barrel of tea. He just poured it all over. Oh, my God. That's amazing. Stephen Jackson, Gilbert Arenas,
Starting point is 00:05:36 and Matt Barnes. He went after all of them. And now he's gone after Jamel Hill and talked about... He went up to Jamel Hill. Yeah, he went up to Jamel Hill, some issue there with Jamel Hill. And then talked about women on the side that all these guys have had through the NBA. Like, he spilled it all. And he looks fantastic, too.
Starting point is 00:05:54 He's in great shape. He let himself go. He's sitting there sipping that hookah in a beautiful office. He's doing this thing. Remember, he made $63 billion. Girl, you working with some as, yeah, you bad, Yamakeabee, spend his cash, yeah his last yahos frown when you pass yeah they mad yeah you can ride in the jagia with that head you could smoke or buy a bag yeah grass yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that sounds familiar but
Starting point is 00:06:21 I don't know what it is so I am I'm an hour into the middle of Cruella Sabrina Ramirez I you're gonna fucking love this move you haven't seen it yet Sabrina, you're going to fucking love this. I haven't. So, I am so excited. I need my lady joker in my life. Like, I'm excited for Emma Stone
Starting point is 00:06:42 to just kill it. Check your mic, Sabrina. I don't think it's connected right now. Yeah, I can't say, I can't say too much, but all I can say is Emma Fipe and Sabrina Ramirez came to mind as I was watching the first hour of this movie.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Well, let's watch the other half right now. Yeah. Nope. Do it. My way. Let's watch along on this Friday. Let's go. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:02 So today, today is, I'm going to start doing a new thing like we did a couple weeks ago. Favorite movie Fridays, I got the approval for the boss to do this. Favorite movie Fridays, and that's what we're doing. And it's a stream, I'm sorry,
Starting point is 00:07:16 it's a Schmobot only show today. Schmobot only. So if you want to get your stuff heard, you want to get your comments, you want to talk about your favorite films, send in your Smobots. And at 250, at 500, at 750, and at 1,000,
Starting point is 00:07:29 we'll do a scene. You get to select what scene from your favorite movie you want to see, and the two people who are going to do it and what impressions you want for them or multiple people that are going to do it. We'll find the scripts. We'll get the scenes set up.
Starting point is 00:07:41 So let's get the donations coming in. Tell us on the Schmobots what your favorite movies are, what your top films are, what your favorite scenes for movies are. Let us know and then start suggesting some scenes you want us to do. We had a great time doing it a couple weeks
Starting point is 00:07:55 because that Casabla G thing was a killer. Yeah, Sheridan, you have your handoff? Oh, I have a great idea. Like, let's do one where Sabrina and I pretend like you guys, we know what you're talking about when you're talking about sports, you know, or something like that. Or we have that conversation as characters. That would be a fun one.
Starting point is 00:08:11 And what's funny is that that is NBA, right? Yes. And I collect top shot. And I don't know what it. Oh shit. The drops today, isn't it? 11 a.m. Reserve back.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Fuck. I reserved one, but I got to remember that fucking go and get it. What's like you don't even like basketball? Oh. What the fucking are you talking about, bitch? No, no, me. No, me. Curtis Slope has donated $20.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Girl, you looks good, won't you back that azup? Use a fine motherfucker, won't you back that as up? Call me Big Daddy when you back that as up. Who is you playing with? Back that as up, girl, you looks good, won't you back that as up? Use a fine motherfucker, won't you back that ass up? I was talking to Jay about this in the car the other day. In the chorus, he just escalates and how intently he's trying to holler at the girl.
Starting point is 00:09:03 girls, you look good, won't you back that ass up? Use a fine motherfucker won't you back that ass up? Call me Big Daddy with you back that ass up. Ho, who is you playing with? Back that. Like, he just, like, what the fuck, bro? I don't think this is how you ultimately get the girl to be like, yep, you know what I want to do?
Starting point is 00:09:21 I want to back that ass up now. Yeah, that makes out. Yeah, that reminds me of my favorite ACON layer. She's like, I'm trying to find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful. Dan, who's sexy bitch. I'm like, oh, good job, make fun. No, that works.
Starting point is 00:09:35 That's super respectful and it works. Yeah, yeah. Like I wasn't in when you... Would you kindly back that ass up, please? If I may be so bold. You were sexy bitch. I wasn't in when you said motherfucker, but later when you said that, I got in on that. When you called me a five motherfucker I wasn't there for, but when you called me a hoe,
Starting point is 00:09:58 oh, my God. Now I'm in it. Now I'm in it. Speaking of which, has no one done a little mini video to that kid? If you watch Mayor of East Town, that little kid coming into the room with his butt first, someone needs to do a little video for that and put the song underneath it. Have you seen, there's a scene in Mayor of East Town, and not the last episode of the episode before,
Starting point is 00:10:21 where the little kid comes into the room bouncing ass first. And I just think it's perfect. So I imagine that's how Alex comes into rooms, I imagine. I've seen him do that a few times in the Shmode. Yeah, I'll talk to your mess off camera. I'm coming for you. I'm going to stomp your balls in the dust. All right.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Anyway, send in your favorite movies Friday. Send in your favorite movies. Let's have some fun. Alex, what do we got? What's our first thing? Let's talk about the main topic. Because apparently, yeah, Lucasfilm apparently stealth promoted Dave Volone to executive creative director at Lucasfilm last summer.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Oh, my goodness. They didn't do it without a press release. Wow. Now, he is an executive creative director, along with Doug Chang and ILM's John Knoll. So Roke up, what do you think about Dave Filoni? Being stealth promoted, and have you ever been stealth promoted at anywhere? I don't think it was self-promoted.
Starting point is 00:11:19 I think Lucas stealth promoted. Stealth promoted. Oh, no, I've never been stealth promoted. But, look, this is what happens. I don't know if people know this, but when you work a job long enough, they actually move you up. if you're good enough and it looks like that's what happened. He simply got moved up in the company.
Starting point is 00:11:36 He is now answering to Kathleen Kennedy. He's in charge of certain things. But Doug over at ILM, he's in charge of more. So there's just different situations here. They want Dave Filoni. This is the next step, right? You don't hand him everything right off the bat. Slowly but surely, you see what he's comfortable with,
Starting point is 00:11:53 handing him a little more responsibility. Certainly if he's had it for a year, now we've seen the success of all the stuff that's gone on there under his watch. over the last year. And so you see what you have here and then you move him up again later on down the road. So to me, this is logical. It makes all kinds of sense. People are losing their minds, obviously comparing it to the fact that they think, oh, Captain Kennedy's getting run out of town now and all of that. But this is just a promotion. That's all. Yeah. Dude, that's the funniest part when, God, people are just so special, bro, like in the sense that
Starting point is 00:12:24 like Kathleen Kennedy is the one that promoted the motherfucker. Yeah, exactly. She's straight up as like, you're right. There's some little holes we need to fill. You know who's killing it? Filoni, homie, handle your business. Like, I, people are, I'm just going to say people are people. How about that? That's, I'm going to be as polite about this as I can. Well, said, very, very Depeche mode of you. But Sabrina Ramirez, what do you think about this situation? You, you think people are making a huge deal out of nothing? He just got promoted. Sabrina, who's Depeche mode? My dad would know, so can I call friends?
Starting point is 00:13:00 Get him. You're so cool. Curtis Slope has donated $30. My favorite happens to be the greatest Disney movie and animated movie The Lion King. So can we get Rocha as Trump and Winston as Obama singing at Guna Matata? Sure.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Who's who though? I'm writing that down. Absolutely. At 250 we'll do that at 250. Am I Pumbo and you're Timon? Are you Tammone? I'm obviously the larger of the two of us. so I'll take it.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Judging from my looking at the mirror last night after I got out of the shower. So yeah, I'll take on that. But go ahead, Sirmini, you were saying about being too cool for cool bands. Go ahead. Yeah, sorry, I'm a little too cool for you guys. But I think this is really interesting
Starting point is 00:13:47 because this has been happening for a while and we just didn't know about it. So there's so much stuff working behind the scenes constantly. It's kind of weird because I think when he was promoted, they should have talked about it because fans love him. And fans love his vision. He is literally George Lucas's Padawan.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Like, this is really exciting news if you're a Star Wars fan and if you're just like looking to the future. I know they said that like Rangers of whatever Republic isn't in production anymore. I just think with something like this, they need to announce these types of little wins and these celebrations and then maybe hold off on the things that they're not 100% sure of because I'm so fatigued with hearing studios announced like, oh, this movie, this cast, and they do like each member individually over months. And then the film doesn't even end up happening. Yeah. So, but this
Starting point is 00:14:39 news is exciting. Right. Warner Brothers does that like they eat breakfast every morning. They announce 30 films and only do you see the light of day. Ben, do you think that they didn't announce it a year ago because, you know, there was all that drama about Rise of Skywalker. There was all that drama about Kathleen Kennedy about whether she was going to be reupt, or not, do you think they just felt like, well, let's just do it low key. Let's see how he does. And then we'll go from there. Maybe they didn't know how it was going to turn out. I don't know. I feel like they had so many chances, especially, you know, with with Mandalorian and Clone Wars, you know, final season, especially those last four episodes, everyone was just like championing
Starting point is 00:15:17 Dave Filoni for good reason. And like Sabrina was saying, like, they just announced like, oh, we're going to have a Star Wars movie in 2024, 26 and 28. It's like, okay, like you said that about the Boba Fett movie. You said that about like all of these spinoff movies and none of them happened. And it's like with all the stuff, like, you know, all the Rise of Skywalker stuff with all the Gina Carano stuff. Like you could have used some like good press that everyone were universally agree with. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Like what like whether you agree like that she deserved to be fired or not like, you know, that it was a lot of backlash. And so it's like, oh, just put this out there and like just something, you know, like let there like be some good news to mix with the quote unquote bad and it'll it'll wash out faster and so I'm surprised that they did this so quietly because everyone was championing for this either for stupid reasons or not like to replace Kathleen Kennedy or not like that's dumb but like he deserves this promotion for sure and so it's it's such a strange choice by Disney to not just like just announce this from like the rooftops like it's so weird yeah
Starting point is 00:16:28 Brett, what do you think? What about this? Well, I was on the show yesterday, and we didn't talk about any news stories. And so I didn't bother the read anything today. $20, I'm going to do a little poll. $20 Schmobots, do you think I care? Do you think I could intelligently talk about this? And what impression of Earth a kit do you want me to do today?
Starting point is 00:16:53 It's so ridiculous how little Brett gives a shit, but every. fucking suggestion on the Facebook is like, let's get Christian and Brett back in there shaving their heads. All of us like read the articles, watch the bread shows up. I don't give a fuck. You don't like it.
Starting point is 00:17:12 And he's still the gem of S-E-N. It doesn't matter. I was reading them all the time and then we never got to the story, so I stopped. You were, you're watching the trailers. There'd be the most obscure trailer. Listen, I was ready to talk about the Turn Who tribute. We haven't talked about it once.
Starting point is 00:17:36 All right, Alex, your thoughts on this. Any thoughts? Any thoughts on a man getting promoted? Nope, don't have any thoughts on it. Cool. Good for them. Wow. For Dave, we like him.
Starting point is 00:17:47 I like it. Dwight, sir. What's your feeling? Very excited about what's to come in regards to Star Wars. I've been 100% on board for everything that we've seen in the past decade, and I'm excited for my... Nice closet answer, respect. Is there from the people who are on every day? Oh, yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yeah, that's a fair point. But, I mean... Kweefer underscored Southernland donated $20. Best Ugly Cry Scene Creed where Adonis acknowledges his dad at the end of the fight. Also, Creed is one of the best new movies from... the past 10 years. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:31 That was a good question. Like, um, Fab's post is like, what movie from the last 10 years would be like an all-time classic, you know, comparable to like Godfather and stuff like that. 1917,
Starting point is 00:18:42 without hesitation. That's a classic to me. As soon as I walked out of the theater, and I don't believe in instant classics, but when I walked out of that theater, I was like, that's a fucking classic. That'll be a classic. No problem.
Starting point is 00:18:53 No doubt. I don't, it's a good movie. I don't, I genuinely don't have any to see it again. I say that in the sense that a classic to me is a movie that you can go back to and go, I want to watch this over and over and over. I don't ever need to see 1917 again and not because it was a bad, it was a good movie, but I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:19:13 That was just such a powerful, eh. Yeah. Go back to talking about backing that ass up. Yeah, go ahead. I honestly think, like the same year, Parasite, like the difference between something like in 1917 in Parasite. I saw Parasite in theaters, I think like five or six times, and every single time it just got better. But 1917, I don't know. I'm kind of in the same boat with Winston on that one.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Yeah. I mean, I will give you this, Roca, as some sort of to make you be like, you stupid kids, shut the fuck up and feel okay about it. I don't,
Starting point is 00:19:47 I don't, I say that in the sense that I would never say that. Well, well. Not on camera. Not on camera. Not on camera. As soon as it goes on, bitch, you're going counter,
Starting point is 00:19:57 Country dig me as soon as I said the greatest war film ever made. I don't, I don't, I'm, I'm not a huge period piece person and I'm really sick and tired of, of World War movies personally. But that's, that's, that's just me. And I, and I know that about myself. So if that's something that people like, I just feel like we've heard so many different versions of it already. It just doesn't tickle my pickle anymore. Like we had many one movies, though.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Yeah. Well, I agree. War I is always a little different than two because we do a shit ton of World War II movies and less one. But I just, it's kind of whatever to me one way or the other, but I still sat down and was like, this is a phenomenal film. I just, again, was like,
Starting point is 00:20:40 there's nothing that's going to draw me back to this. Parasite, like the little nuances that were there, that was when I was like, oh shit, like, what else can I dig out of this, etc., etc., like I would, I wouldn't call it an instant classic, but I just haven't yet. I would love to go back to Ford versus Ferrari because I know that came.
Starting point is 00:20:57 came out the same year that that's a good movie. Yeah. That's like that's, that's just like an extremely watchable movie. Like I don't, I don't know what qualifies as a classic or anything like that. I do think 2019 will go down as one of like,
Starting point is 00:21:10 one of the best years in film for sure. Yeah. But just like Ford for Ferrari, I just watched it this last weekend. Man, it's just like, you just get sucked into the characters. And in a year where Thanos was trying to murder the entire universe,
Starting point is 00:21:25 Josh Lucas is the biggest villain. of that year. Leo Bebe is, oh my God, he's so awful. He is so awful in that movie. I know this will probably drive Kate nuts, but some people might consider the Irishman a classic already.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Yikes. Yeah, I could see that. I still haven't seen it yet because the runtime has scared me off. I was willing to sit through the runtime of endgame because for me, that was a culmination of 11 years. So I was like, hell yeah. I was hesitant to do it for for a Snyder Cut, but I did it because I had to for the Inter-Geekdom show. And I appreciated it, but again,
Starting point is 00:22:09 that's another movie. I don't ever need to revisit again. Honestly, like, I'm good. Okay. Like, the one was enough for me. Um, big run times just don't, you have to be, like, above board, like, greatest movies of all time to keep revisiting like that. You know what I'm saying? Like Lord of the Rings. Oh, Jesus Christ. I disagree about Lord of the Rings. I watched all of them in like one day. And I don't, I didn't retain anything.
Starting point is 00:22:39 I don't remember anything about it. There's nothing there. They just kept going to Mordor. And I'm just like, go to Mordor. And then they kept not being able to. Oh, my God. Oh, look, another shot of them running across the field for 30 minutes. Roka, have you been tested for coronavirus?
Starting point is 00:22:57 lately because clearly you have no sense of tape. I've been tested. I've been tested for cool virus, you nerd, and you didn't qualify. I came out positive. John Rook was like the older brother. He's like, yo, nerd. I'm your chat from what's this weird science.
Starting point is 00:23:21 Did you spit in this? The problem is I got bullied and beat up. in high school and I became what I was what I was fighting against though now I'm bullying nerds for a living now I'm just that what happened to Anakin bro this is your story about how you became Darth Vader I love slavery and then he was like fuck it I'm gonna enslave
Starting point is 00:23:39 the entire galaxy benefit $20 what up Friday crew speaking of promotions has anyone on the panel ever said no to a promotion because they knew the cons would outweigh the rewards or they just didn't think they were ready my boss wants me to move up but I don't know Hi, Brett.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Hello. Thank you, Benefer, 2021. Thank you, Benifer. Hope it works out for you guys this time. Turned down a promotion. Oh, like a promotion from work. Yeah. There's any motherfuckers been offered up a promotion?
Starting point is 00:24:17 Yeah, I was working tables at CPK, and then I got moved to the counter, and that was better money, and you didn't have to move as much. Yes. I actually did turn down. When I was at Universal Studios working at Harry Potter, one of the assistant managers moved off to go do another section of the kid.
Starting point is 00:24:36 And the overall manager, Francisco sat me down. He's like, you're older than some of the people we've got here. Do you want to step into the role of assistant manager? And I said, how much do they pay? And the pay is less than what I was making as a full-time employee working 36 hours a week doing my job. And I would take on more responsibility. And I said, okay, so what's the cap?
Starting point is 00:24:58 And he goes, 80 grand's the most anybody makes. I was like, fuck off. I'm not dealing with more shit in middle management, firing people, watching other people shows, all that criticism for less than what I'm making to show up and work three and a half hours a day and get paid for eight.
Starting point is 00:25:14 No, that doesn't make any sense to me at all. So that's the only time we've ever turned a promotion down or possible promotion down. I'm curious, Rocco, your thought on, let's get, let's get into some deep conversation. well, say. All right. Keep sending in money, people, please. Shmoh-Wan-
Starting point is 00:25:29 Keep sending in. Favorite season. And I'm my God, go ahead. Go finish what you're saying. I was just going to say, try to guess what other movies, because Winston I got on the Winston Bingo, I got no more slave movies, no more war movies. So try to guess what his other one is. I want to, I want to. No movies
Starting point is 00:25:46 with a runtime over two hours and 30 minutes. Bingo. And no black and white movies. No black and white movies. No, no. depends. Black and white movies ain't bad. You know what I'm saying? You know, melon and be popping in black and white movies. If I'm not mistaken, everybody here has worked food service at some point or another, correct? Yes. Okay. So all this controversy that's coming out where there's all these basically, nobody, everybody's lazy. Nobody wants to work in
Starting point is 00:26:19 food service anymore. But there was, there was this really interesting Twitter thread going out about, No, I think what it is is that everybody that was in food service, they kind of, like, the pandemic hit, there was no safety net. They just kind of let everybody motherfucking go. And then they were kind of forced to go back to work while so people could have their dining out experience and still got treated like shit. And they were like, yo, the juice just ain't worth the squeeze anymore. So a lot of people have either got the training over the last year to move into better jobs or just said, fuck it. I'll just figure something else out to do. like, do y'all also see that?
Starting point is 00:26:56 Or do you kind of agree with the people that are like they ask back to work? I'm just curious, especially Ben. I know you recently went back to bartending and whatnot and how you feel about this. I'm just very curious on everybody's thoughts on this. Yeah, I'm living that. The honeymoon slash your hero's phase
Starting point is 00:27:14 is definitely over now. And I mean, even my friend who I went to Disneyland with, she's a server at one of the restaurants. Like even at Disneyland, they're like being complaining about masks and, you know, like some like assholes are sneaking in there and stuff like that. So I don't think anybody learned any humility or gratefulness over the last year. And you really see the true side of people like with how they treat their server. Because the minute someone gets the slightest bit of power is how you judge someone. And they think that like having a server. means they have power over somebody, and it's, it's really, really strange. But yeah, people haven't changed at all. That's, that was, that was, that was, that was my concern that, you know, that that's really what's happening right. Because, like, that's the thing. I don't, I don't truly believe that people are out here just being lazy and shit. I do believe that people have learned some self-respect
Starting point is 00:28:14 more so than ever. And like, the juice was worth to squeeze back then because you were just in it. But since you had a chance to come out and take a deep breath and go, wait a minute, fuck this shit. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, so. Yeah, this time last year, I worked at a coffee shop and I was one person and there was a huge line that took like two and a half hours for me to get through. And it just kept going. And like, people were gathering in the, in the coffee shop and I kept telling people like one party at a time, put on your masks, do all that. And that's at the height of everything in Los Angeles. And people still did not care. Right. That's fucking stupid. Well, I put yourself in.
Starting point is 00:28:53 that kind of a situation if you don't have to. If you found a way to get some other job, we have to deal with the bullshit of that, or it's just the game, you know? And sometimes, you know, having a situation happen that removes you from a job kind of wakes you up to the fact that you really fucking hated that job and you want to find something else that brings you any kind of joy.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Yeah. I mean, what about you, Alex? Oh, cool. Thanks. Brett, what have you got, anything you got?
Starting point is 00:29:19 I mean, I know you're editing your fucking video, Alex, but you got a job to do the next two hours. for fucks a day. Go ahead, Brett. I've often thought about going back into the bartending food service thing, you know, and just chilling during the day with the, you know, getting the kids and then going off because I miss, I miss getting that drawer of cash that Ben showed us the other day.
Starting point is 00:29:40 But I definitely, I'm, if Ben saying the tips or shit, there's no way I'm doing it again. Because I, you know, that was hard work, but it's not my, you know, doing the stuff, the handyman stuff is starting to hurt, hurt this old. or maybe I should get in shape. Maybe that would be something. But I think it's ridiculous. You've seen these articles where these, you know, places can't hire people. And it's like, well, because you're not fucking paying them, man.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Like, you know, and then they're offered them, like, appetizers for at the interview. Yeah, Applebee's. But how about just offer to pay them a little bit more? Hey, Rebecca, can I say? Advertis at the interview? What? Yeah. Applebee's was offering appetizers.
Starting point is 00:30:23 at all the interviews that they were having across the country. And they're giving beer out. And their advertisers aren't even that good. That's what, listen. I show that to my girlfriend, of course, who's a former chef and she goes, why are they torturing them before they get interviewed? And I'm like, oh, wait a minute, wait a minute, Roca. You out of pocket, but a fuck.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I tell you what she said. I didn't say I said it. Roca out here. I like a good potato skin. And you were like, if it ain't a bloomin onion, you can suck a dick, I don't fucking want it. That's wild, dude. Anything but paying your employees, right? Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Exactly. Great point. That's the thing at the end of the day. There is this thing, this pandemic, there will be ramifications of this. And we don't get too deep in this, obviously, but there are going to be ramifications for quite some time. And I think very much the workforce situation was affected by this because people got pulled out of these situations and had to figure out how to survive.
Starting point is 00:31:22 And now they're going back, they don't want to deal with the madness of it all anymore. Because you're right, Ben, people haven't changed. No surprise. No surprise. Like three months after 9-11, people were back to be in assholes to each other. So it just doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Human beings are going to be entitled.
Starting point is 00:31:39 That's the game, sadly. I think that's, yeah. Go, go, go, go, go, Sabrina. I feel like we learned so much, like, being put in this position over the last year where, like, we need to do things that make us happy. We need to focus on something that like brings us that joy and working a certain job where you know the energy is just not there. It can be draining and life's way too short for that. I agree.
Starting point is 00:32:01 And that's the thing is that people are learning that like, no, I don't have to do this. Like and people are like, it's like slowly the rise of like all us poor people are just like, no. Like, no, I'm not going to do this. And you're not going to be able to run your like people are starting to realize like they actually have power. And like all these restaurants don't have any chefs, don't have any cooks, don't have any bussers or servers. And it's like, yeah, that sucks, dude. Yeah. And usually when this happens, there's somebody who comes along who understands what that void is and creates something to fill it.
Starting point is 00:32:41 There's usually someone. And it seems so like easy and so like in your face. You're like, an obvious rather, it's like, oh, why did I think of it? and something's going to come along that's going to fill that void of that situation. And these employers, and they can write all the op-eds they want, like that Washingtonian person wrote where they're trying to essentially intimidate people into going back to work in an office so they can feel superior. Yeah, I hate when I see that. COVID's made middle management useless. Yes, you are useless.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Congratulations. Your micromanagement and leaning over my shoulder as I do my job better than you would, fuck off. Exactly. Anyway, favorite movies. Let's get into it. Anybody else? Send in your schmobots here. It's a schmobot only show.
Starting point is 00:33:31 We're laughing way too much. We have to get back on time. I'm sorry. I apologize. I apologize. We'll do impressions of the worst tips we've gotten waiting tables and reactions to those. I saw somebody throw a handful of change at a car one time.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Oh, my God. You suck my table. And they just quit that day. It's like, come on, you throw me 37 cents on a $50. You know, like I felt that rage. I felt that rage. Hell yeah. I quit.
Starting point is 00:34:02 I quit one day. It was a waiter. After three months of being a waiter, when a guy, I walked by a guy, it was at my table. And he didn't even look up from his book. And he took his glass full of ice and he shook it in my face to say like, we filled it. And that was, I think. a year or two out of the middle, I almost took the tray
Starting point is 00:34:21 and sliced his throat with it. I was just like, I almost went to jail because it was so disrespectful, right? I just wanted to take the train. Like, Ha! Ha! Ha!
Starting point is 00:34:30 Like fucking Hannibal Lecter and shit. But yeah, it's like that kind of shit we have to endure when you do the food service. And there should be a hidden video to out all these motherfuckers who do this shit. They should put hidden videos in restaurants and not tell the restaurant or not tell the patrons. And when they pull their shit,
Starting point is 00:34:48 they should put them on TV and put their names out there to fucking get them in trouble, man. Because it's ridiculous. Like that one show, what would you do? Oh, yeah. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait. Did you see the one specifically where they,
Starting point is 00:35:03 it was, because this one tickled me just because I kind of go through this a little bit, being with Kristen. Today. Bro, it's Friday. I'm beginning to tickle. Friday. I just out here just like,
Starting point is 00:35:18 that tickles. There was one where a brother was dating a white girl and he, like, went to a black barbershop and, like, the white girl was sitting there and they were just waiting. They were waiting for black people to snap off and, like, say something to her. And, like, this one, like, older, like, black lesbian woman
Starting point is 00:35:39 was like, you know, y'all need to be nice to her. You know, that's his girl, like, every blah, blah, blah. And they're like, why did you this? Like, because I'm a black gay woman. Do you know how many times I've been judged? We don't need to judge nobody. Love is love, baby. And I was like, that's my shit.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I love this weird ass show that I always see clips on Facebook from that wall. Is it even on TV anymore? We need to bring it back. Well, speaking of some brain something back, Brett Sheridan, you're back doing ads here. What do you got for us today? Well, I want to talk to you all about your smiles. So I was looking for a fix. Candid ended up being the perfect comfort for me. You can't stop me from smiling now.

Starting point is 00:38:08 Thank you, Brett. Absolutely. Good stuff. Good stuff, buddy. Good stuff. Smiling is definitely, the smile is the first thing I always look four-round in an agreeing to girl. Hey, it's me.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Hey, finally I'm on screen today. Smiling's your favorite. I love smile. Oh, I love the angle roca normally gives us, because now we get to see how messy his office normally is. Oh, yeah. No, I'm trying to brighten things up, but I can't seem to find the right setting on the camera
Starting point is 00:38:40 because it got updated, and now I can't find the right setting. That sounded like a setup for an ad. You did, right your camera up, Toka. I should have been the candid leading right there. Ringlight.com slash SCN live. I can't open my curtains. It's been so hot. That's what's been making, I think,
Starting point is 00:38:59 making my computer freeze is the sun coming in, and I never got around to getting a halo light after 100 years of doing this, I guess. Is that word to? I have an extra one, I will drop it off, Brett. Broca, you're making me laugh because you're out here talking about, man, you tickled and all this shit, you got your phrases. You are so busy today. Back scratcher. Lighting don't work. Yeah, man. Like, just, just, you are everywhere, man.
Starting point is 00:39:27 I just scratch my nuts in a minute here, man. Anyway, favorite movies, send them in. Guys, come on, send in your smallbots. Let us know what your favorite movies are. It's just us hanging out with you. No one else is listening. So come on in. Drop in your favorite movie and let us know what, like, what inspires you, what makes you happy?
Starting point is 00:40:12 And then the pandemic will pick up your spirits. Let us know what your favorite movies are. Have no shame. We all love movies, for God's sakes. Yeah! Hold it! The underscore K-Ur-Wolf donated $20. Dearly beloved, we gather here today to witness the demolition of Rushmore by the well-tested danger zone.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Buy your flop-stock exchange T-K-O shirts now because after today they will be obsolete. Dungeon all-day baby hashtag Team Bateman for life. Yep. Team Bateman for a live. Respect. Yeah, that is happening today. Yeah. Look, look, man.
Starting point is 00:40:49 I feel like y'all got to handle your business. I'm excited to see this match because I'm like, look, we almost whooped their ass and deception almost whooped their ass. I feel like y'all got the smoke. Like, like now, now let's take two of the greatest players, a former champion and one of the greatest team champions ever come in and whip these asses real quick, please, because, you know. Wait, you said two of the greatest players.
Starting point is 00:41:12 and a former team champion. No, no, I forgot you're also a team champion. I see, I know you were a team champion. No, I feel like you left Ben Bateman out of your description, because you said two of the greatest players, that's me and Dan, and a former team champion.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I was specifically talking about Rush. I was specifically talking about Rushmore. I was talking about you as a former team as a whole. Yes, yes, no, no, no, no. No, it's going to be a tough match. Go ahead, go ahead. No, I was just saying, obviously we know, we know what Dan's bringing to the table.
Starting point is 00:41:41 And obviously I'll give Bateman his credit also for being a former champ. But I just see you and JTE. I won't lie. I doubt it y'all at first. And then I saw what you did to do to your competition. So I can't wait to see what y'all do to these motherfuckers. Yeah, that's happening today. What time is that match dropping it?
Starting point is 00:41:55 Alex, 2 o'clock. 2 o'clock. So check it out on this YouTube channel. And, you know, we also have another, we have other matches going on. Today we got an Inner Gigdom title match between Mara Konopikovic versus Mike Kalanowski in a versus match. Their third time facing off. and in the undercarve got Marisol McKee versus Janine the machine. So make sure you get your tickets at the Shmodon Live.com.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And that one will be live at 5 p.m.P.T. Check it out. First of all, I mean, the team's final is going to be great. Me and J.T. taking on those two scallywags and Ben B. Now is this a five-rounder, John? No, no, three-rounder, three-rounder because it's not. A little harsh, John. Scallywags? Come on. near new else
Starting point is 00:42:42 all those ruffians you roust about no wait y'all coming at me for tickled and you'd be like this dude just say scallywag like this is like he's like 1920's J-Lo out here get the fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:43:00 like I said 1917 that's a classic film anyway the hull of a little like I live through it yeah it's classic you can't run that far. Come on now. One shot.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Anyway, yeah, that's going to be a great match for sure at 2 p.m. PT. We're going to go at it toe to toe the four of us. But these matches tonight are going to be incredible, I believe. Mara and Kalowski, it's the immovable object versus the irresistible force. It's incredible because Mara came back after a two-year absence. Is that what you say? Two-year absence. And she won that.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Unstop for Morris versus a movable logic. You were close. You were close. I'm going to go back to scratch in my back for fucks a week. Anyway, this is going to happen tonight. And you've got these two. Because I don't know. I mean, my edge is to Kalinowski simply because no one seems to be able to defend this IG belt when they get it.
Starting point is 00:43:57 No one. No. The greats have all kind of lost it the next time. I think Hector or Jason was maybe the last time someone defended it back. Or did Mike Kalinowski different? John did. Chandra was the last one to defend it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Chandra, when he beat Chance, that's right. But it's rare. Yeah, it's rare when it happens. So this is going to be so interesting. And there was a lot of drama between these guys before. That's been settled and squashed. And now they're coming at each other to see who's going to come out on top. It's going to be great.
Starting point is 00:44:26 But in the other match, I mean, this is a historic match. Two women of color fighting each other in the schmodon for the possibility at a number one contender shot to get us to possibly go. go and fight for the title against whoever the champion will be at the time. This is incredible. And Janine has certainly become a better player under Roxy. She's been waiting for the right kind of manager. And not that her previous managers weren't that great,
Starting point is 00:44:49 but it's just that she had to find the right one. And this seems like she's found the right one. And Roxy and Marisol is a star in the making, a star in the making in this league. So this is going to be two great, great matches tonight. And then, of course, we're the appetizer in the afternoon. So don't miss out on this at all. Not an applebee's appetizer. Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Yeah. Blooming onion. He's a blooming onion. There you go. I'd call him an antitizer, but, you know, those are the ones they sell at this grocery store. All right. Sometimes you win. I'm out.
Starting point is 00:45:24 One day being a stage dead, and this is the Brett weekend. Not giving a shit, telling bad jokes. Like, dear God, Brett has officially retired. Ben, that's what I can't wait for. I can't wait for him to be that. stage dad and he's on set and the crew can't fucking keep their focus on his daughter while she's on camera because they're dying from Brett sniping over in their court. They're like, yo, put him in the motherfucking commercial. What the fuck is going on? Yeah, I'm just hoping she helps
Starting point is 00:45:51 daddy out because he hasn't had one in a while. But yeah, it was very odd being like just passed by and not offered waters. You know, like, I'm like, I'm so used to. Anytime I've been on set, it's like, what can we get you? What can I do? And I'm just kind of sitting there and like, Do I have to follow her around or can't it? They had, oh, they had these video games. They had these, like, they had every Atari game on it. So it looked like it was a Pac-Man machine, but it had every Atari game. And I'm playing.
Starting point is 00:46:20 They're like, we're bringing her on set. And I'm like, do I have to come with her? I'm in the middle of a good Pac-Man run here. You can handle it, right, honey? You can handle it, can't you? Just scream if you need anything. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:36 You guys sound like you're a Disney Channel original movie over there. Dad's playing video games, Walt Daughters, being successful, being big on set. On a side note, Benif for 2,021 donated $20. Thanks for going on the workplace tangent before that was great. My honest to goodness favorite film is Midnight Run. It's so goddamn funny both De Niro and Groden are stellar.
Starting point is 00:47:02 It's a classic in my eyes. Sucks we never got a sequel. Yeah. RIP, Charles Grudby. I finally, I just watched that a few like a weekend or two ago. That's a good movie. Glad to see me.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Get over. I love that. Yafet, two people. Yafet Koto, Charles Groson, two people we've lost recently. Shame to think about that, but a great, great film for sure. Yeah, so anyway, at this point, we're at 150 bucks. Ladies and gentlemen, you know where we've got to get to.
Starting point is 00:47:33 That's that 500 mark. We'd love to get to it on a Friday. We'd love to get to 750, to be honest with you. So come on in, send in your donations. $25, $25, send in your Schmobots, and let's march towards that $250 for the duet. And then at 500, you guys, whatever suggests a really good scene for us to do,
Starting point is 00:47:52 we'll do it at 500. And then, of course, the same thing at 750. So start selling donations now on Schmobots. And guys, help me make this happen. Let's go. What impressions have you got there to throw out for these people to suggest for you to do? There were some doozies yesterday, man.
Starting point is 00:48:07 I mean it, oh, and what was it? Steph doing, uh, share. Oh, God. It was like Kermit the Frog singing, If you believe in love, no. Oh, my God. And then we did a seat for Boonstruck. Oh, they had some good ones.
Starting point is 00:48:22 They had some good ones. Come on, you creative people. I'm ready. I'm drinking my water. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, what? I'm ready to watch Brett do all of them.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Yeah. Yeah, there was a point where I'm like, Matt, can you got, maybe, I need a little break, just a little time. Let's exhaust Brett, send in your donations, then in your small box, suggest stuff for Brett to do. Go ahead, go ahead, Winston, sorry. Are we supposed to tell them what we can do? Sure, sure.
Starting point is 00:48:55 I think it would be great if they made it up, but if you've got some new ones you've been working on, suggest them out. I mean, we've got the classics. We got Obama. We got cameras. You guys have seen DMX that's in the mix. We got one, Loiswain's in there. If y'all haven't heard about Tour,
Starting point is 00:49:13 the Jamaican got a Dunder. We got that shit too. Oh, wow. That's a whole thing. That was on Blurts. That shit was hilarious. I think that's all right now. But like shit, I'm sure we'll get a couple requests for tour.
Starting point is 00:49:28 But, you know, just let me know. But, I mean, coming up with Earth a kit, Like that's the kind of stuff. That was fun because these weren't like the regular ones we do. So that was what I was looking forward to again today is like just the weird stuff like, you know, Ben, do an impression of Miss Piggy singing the. Yeah. Yeah, challenge us. That would be great.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Challenge us. We're here for your entertainment for the next hour and some. So send in some smobot, send in some fun stuff. Working on. You guys are such a great audience. You always come up with some really funny stuff. So send in some stuff, creative stuff, and we'll do it for sure. we've been watching Bosch.
Starting point is 00:50:03 We started watching Bosch last week on Hulu. I kind of like this show with Titus Weller. So I've been working on my Lance Redick impression. Trying to work on my Lance Reddick impression. Is that the guy from Gone Baby Gone? Yes, he's in Gone Baby Gone. Yes, he's one of the police. Yeah, he's like a big character actor.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He was in Deadwood and stuff. But Lance Reddick is the guy from the wire and John Wick. So he's got his voice that's back here. Back in the back of my throat. Adriano, donated $50.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Can we get a Russian Ben and Sabrina reenacting the You Complete Me Scene from Jerry Maguire? Have a good weekend. That's what I'm talking about. Right there. I was going to say, I just, uh, we created a new one on my stream because someone meant to type Benoit Blanc from Knives Out and typed Benito Blanc. I'm doing, um, I'm solving the mystery. three is like these. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:51:07 I'm Latino so I can do that. Well, you're a half Latino. You could do a half impression of that. You've got to do, you've got to do a French guy doing a Latino impression. I think that's the one. Uh, yeah, I like that. All right. We're at 200 now.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Let's get it going people. Come on. Let's go. Let's get 500 more. We'll cross that line of 650 and we'll get to 750 and we'll get to 750. hopefully if there's enough time for sure. I like that. What else is good?
Starting point is 00:51:35 Yeah, so anyway, just working on the Lance ready compression is driving her nuts because I'm not 100% there. But I'm trying. What are you doing there, boss? John Wick. Mr. Wick. Mr. Week. I said, so I'm trying, because it's always, it's back here.
Starting point is 00:51:53 It is. Where's the dog? All right, Alex, what else we got for? You guys, there was too much laughter and awkward silences. Oh, you're right. You're right, you're right. So I didn't, I'm trying to keep the show straight. Like, I'm trying to keep it on track.
Starting point is 00:52:07 Because people come here for movie news. You're right, you're right. That's it. What were we even supposed to talk about today? I think we did it all, Rick. Every day. Yeah, Alex, sure. What have you got?
Starting point is 00:52:22 Anything? I mean, now we're talking about favorite movies. I know a lot of people's favorite movie, a lot of my friends, their favorite movie is Hocus Pocus. And we got a sequel coming out in, 2020. Disney Plus is officially announced with the proposal filmmaker and Fletcher, taking over directing duties from Adam Shankman, who will just be executive producing the 1993 sequel to his movie starring Bet Miller, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi as the three witches coming back
Starting point is 00:52:50 for the sequel. Roka, what did you think of Hocus Pocus? And are you excited for a sequel? I get it. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. I've never seen it. It's not my jam. Never was a jam. So have at it. Anybody who's seen it is excited by this Sabrina. Any chance you're a big hocus pocus fan and you're excited for this sequel? Yeah, I'm kind of shocked to hear
Starting point is 00:53:11 that you haven't checked it out. I feel like you'd really enjoy it. I know it's not like 100% your forte, but it's a really enjoyable film holds up super well. I'm just not the biggest fan of like taking these beloved films and then like going off of it unless they
Starting point is 00:53:26 genuinely do it justice. I loved the craft legacy. I loved like the first two thirds of the movie. And then the final act is just where it completely fell apart. And I want to see more like that. But I just don't want them banking on like nostalgia. It's like, oh, you like this, this movie. Like maybe deliver an interesting idea or a new story within this world. It doesn't have to be banking off of everything, seeing specific characters, tying it in that way. Because something like hocus pocus or even the craft or whatever, People celebrate it for what it is and for the story and what it represents not like seeing an Easter egg of an actor like it's Star Wars. You know, so as long as they do the story justice and deliver us something really fun and refreshing, then I'm here for it.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Okay. Ben, have you seen this movie before? I've seen hocus pocus. I'm not like a big nostalgia fan of it. I don't really go back to it like that or like Halloween Town or big, you know, rewatches for like my generation or a younger generation. I hope there's like some genuine horror because there's some scary moments in hocus pocus like they kill a girl
Starting point is 00:54:35 at the beginning of the movie like they like suck the life out of her and you know like in moral comment he's about to get his soul sucked God that fucking movie he's about to get dude it's the best fucking line it's the best line I just love how Cabal is like this New York guy
Starting point is 00:54:50 hey yo he's about to get his soul sucked am I right But yeah, that happens in hocus pocus, so I don't know if they're going to Disney plusify it or anything like that because there's some dark moments in this movie. But I think it's going to, I think it's fun, it's harmless. You know, if they get the original cast back, that's cool. Is Thor Burtch going to come back, though? That's what I want to know.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Oh, yeah. That's all like you. Okay. Sheridan? Well, I liked it. I don't remember. How did it end? What was the... I can't remember...
Starting point is 00:55:29 I think they, like, died, right? That's what I thought. That's why... I have no idea. Aren't they sitting up on a top of a mantle of a fireplace, like as a ghost or something? Am I making this up? Is that a different witch movie?
Starting point is 00:55:43 The sun comes up and they die like vampires. That's how... Yeah, this is what I thought. Like, they get evaporated or... They melt. I think they turned to statues and then they turn to dust. Oh. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:55:57 Yeah. Well, if they were, if they were statues, I could see them coming back, but if they turn to dust, like, I don't know. They'll, some, some ride back, no, like, you know, like, again, like the end of mortal combat, everybody dies, but then Shakespeare's on just goes, death is only the beginning. Cool. Glad I wasted two hours on this shit. Bro, but that's exactly how you know. Like, that's how you, you remember, you can hit continue.
Starting point is 00:56:22 That's what I always thought about movies like this when they die. I'm like, but you can always hit fucking continue. Like, it'll be fine. All right. There you go. Anybody else want to chime in to Malcolm? You're a big hocus, focus person. You tell me, what do you think about this?
Starting point is 00:56:37 I mean, I think it's kind of an overrated movie. Oh. But it's a fun Halloween watch. It's definitely a tradition for a lot of people around my age, and I totally get that. but yeah I'm definitely with Sabrina elf yeah right
Starting point is 00:56:59 it's it's Halloween elf but yeah it's it's weird that they're doing a sequel I don't really see how they can continue the story Cardo donated $20 in behind today
Starting point is 00:57:15 I was the one who mentioned the cutting edge on Monday along with Cluzo thanks for the shout out Rocha other Fav move are adventures in babysitting and big business. Yes, I'm old. I hope you destroy Ben Bateman, John.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Oh, it's a long way off. Kids got a lot to play for it. It's going to be tough. That guy wants to get another belt. So, you know, he's pretty much the favorite in that match, I would imagine. So it's going to be interesting to see how that goes down. So I have my hands full against a hungry Ben Bateman, for sure. That's coming up on June 4th.
Starting point is 00:57:48 But today we've got our... That is a good movie, right? We watched the first hour. the other night. It's on HBO Max, I think. And I've forgotten how much I love that movie and how much of a crush I had on others of the shoe. Holy.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Am I confusing that? Hey, nobody leaving you without singing the movie. Oh, I am. There's not like a stoner brother in this, and they're like, dishes are done, dude. That's a different one, right? Don't tell mom and the babysitter's dead. That's that one. Okay. Yeah, so this one.
Starting point is 00:58:16 This is the one where she confronts Bradley Whitford in the restaurant after he's lied to her that he's sick and can't go out. and he's going out with a way uglier woman, who's rich, apparently. Yeah, it's Bradley Wifford. She is. She is. Watch the movie.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Come at me, bro. She's not attractive. Elizabeth was miles better looking. You're an idiot, Bradford. Also, that's Vincent Donofrio. CBS guy over there donated $25. Hello, Senn, Cruz. I just want to say that even though I haven't seen your face yet, Malcolm, is becoming
Starting point is 00:58:52 my favorite person day by day with your opinions. This is for you, sir. Let's get Ben to do the speech from Team America. World Police as Seth Rogen. As Seth Rogen? What? Yes. I love it.
Starting point is 00:59:11 That's brilliant. Alex, can you find that one for me, bud? I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know what they're referring to, so I'll do my best. Is it the Pussy's Assholes and Dick speech, I'm guessing? It's God. Oh, pussy. Oh, I'm not going to do that for you. Okay, I say we vote as a tribe and make Sabrina do it because that one war
Starting point is 00:59:35 I always shoot for it and I just miss so hard. Like I hiked myself up. I'm like, yeah, you could do a Seth Rogen laugh. Then it just, I don't even know what comes out. Nope. Yeah, I can't do it either. That's a tough one. That's a tough one.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Um, anyway, all right, what else have we got going on? Anything else to talk about? Or have we hit the 250 mark yet? Malcolm, have we at the 250? We're at 245. 245. All right, we're five bucks away. Timon and Pumba or Obama and I'm going to be so I don't miss it.
Starting point is 01:00:15 Anyway, there you goes. There you go. There it goes to P. All right, anyway. What else is going on, Alex? You know, we're talking about a favorite. movies, and I know some people's favorite movie is Borat. So we got the Borat movie. We got some extra content coming out next week for it. Why? Mostly like B-roll, it seems like, from Borat 2.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Rocco, what do you think about? Will you be watching more Borat supplemental reportings coming out May 25th on Prime? Or are you going to skip this? Do you think it's the right timing for this? What's you going to do, buddy? I hand this over to Ben Goddard. Ben, what do you think? I don't have an opinion on this. Go ahead. I think I'll give it a watch.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Like, some, the fact that he's still able to do this specific character and get people, like, I know he did that. What was the show he did America, like, it was the show where he was like a soldier. The Alice, oh, I thought you meant that. No, not Ali G. It was recent. That's the thing. Like, he did Ali G and Borat and Bruno forever. but just like he did this like this soldier or something recently and that was the one where he had the guy like screaming the N-word with a dildo in his hand or something like that it was yeah the shit he gets people to do is so crazy I don't get it I don't understand it like it's so insane so it's like I kind of have it's like a car crash with other people involved where it's like you have to watch uh who is America thank you MK
Starting point is 01:01:52 he gets people to just like let their guard down and like show their true colors so often that like I can't not at least give this to try because the fact that like even you think you know in in 2005 2006 you don't know like whatever like I'm not excusing those people but you know I can be like they just didn't know what they were in for and now you're everyone knows you're racist in 2021 everybody has a cell phone everybody has a camera everybody's got a microphone like like every like your devices are listening to you everyone's got an Alexa or a Siri like every you need to watch what you say what you type what you text what you tweet everything and he still got people to do this it's fucking crazy so I'm at least going to give this a it's a shot all right Sabrina okay thanks Sabrina uh Alex I'm coming back I but yes I agree with Ben 100% um I really enjoy what they did with this film. So I don't know what this extra footage is going to be or whatever they end up piecing together for this. But I loved Borat too so much. Like I thought Maria Bacalova was incredible, bringing someone on to be put in the same position that Ben is just
Starting point is 01:03:07 saying about Sasha Baron Cohen with Borat. Keeping like in character during all of these moments, like the doctor scene makes me cringe. Like it makes me disappear into myself. I hated it so much, but I loved every second of it. So yeah, I'm always down for new footage. Okay. All right. Winston, any thoughts on this one? Did you like this subsequent movie film?
Starting point is 01:03:32 I was concerned that I wasn't, but it was great. So real talk. If they can pull it off and we get another, if we can pull off another Rudy Giuliani situation out of this, fuck, let's go. Yo, just expose them all. Turn the lights on. Let the roaches scramble.
Starting point is 01:03:50 I like it. Good point. I like it. Share it an extra footage. Yes or no? Yeah, no, definitely. And especially, especially if it's the, you know, hidden cameras kind of stuff because I didn't like this one as much as the first one because I'm more a fan of his stuff that where he is getting people. Like this one was too scripted for me. I didn't have enough moments of that. So if it's more of that kind of stuff, the cringe worthy things where you're like, oh my God, how did he sit there and do that? Yes, I'm totally down for more of this. Alex, you've been a victim of pranks before. Are you a fan of this? Do you want to say this? Yeah, I really like the Borat character. Yeah, I mean, I'll check it out. It's coming on next week.
Starting point is 01:04:32 So, yeah, let's do it. That could be a way this one could go next levels if we got somebody to come in and basically be a Borat type character who would like do it really, really well. Like really, really well. It would be hilarious. All right, anyway. Isn't that what your faction mate,
Starting point is 01:04:51 Brother Loomis is doing? Brother Loemus, that is. Oh. Sorry, Lomas, Lomas. Get it right. As captain of the team, I know my team's name's name. I apologize.
Starting point is 01:05:01 That's true. Patricia Mex donated $25. Can I please get Sabrina singing the miss? Piggy's song I'm gonna always love you from Muppets take Manhattan. I hate that Miss Piggy and Kermit don't stay together.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Broke my first. four-year-old heart. Happy Friday, everyone, and much love. Well, thank you. Yeah, I like that. Okay. And I think this speech should be replaced with what the Schmobots change things to, like, unicorns and puppies.
Starting point is 01:05:36 That's a bit much. Let me take a look at this thing. Oh, hello. Yeah. It's rough. What are you looking at? Keep the kids away from this for sure. And we should do our ad before we get into that.
Starting point is 01:05:54 So let's do that, right. Go ahead. Well, John, are you itching to get back to what you love? Well, I did. And I went on a trip. Starting point is 01:08:07 I like it. I appreciate it. All right, so who's going to do the speech? Is it going to be Ben or is it going to be Sabrina as, although that speech is pretty hardcore. Yeah, with delivery, I say Ben. What speech? The one that's in the chat. Oh, Team America
Starting point is 01:08:24 speech. That's from Team America. I remember that speech. I remember that speech. That was Alec Baldwin's speech in the movie. Or whoever played Alec Baldwin in the movie. I would be okay with Ben replacing it with puppies and the unicorn. But I'm just and I don't want Ben to do something that's, this is pretty harsh.
Starting point is 01:08:42 That's a lot. As what character? Who is he's supposed to be. I'm supposed to be Seth Rogen. I think that's good. You should do it that way. I think this is good. Actually, it works if you do, if you keep it. The only thing for you like dicks. Because puppies get fucked my dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes. Assos. They just water shit on it.
Starting point is 01:09:11 My accent's changing. I can't keep it. They think they can deal The assholes their way, but They're laughing Too much, God damn it. Focus. We're laughing too much. We're laughing too much. The problem.
Starting point is 01:09:33 We can say fuck too much or fuck what is appropriate. And it takes a person to show them that But sometimes Mrs. could be so full of shit that they can become assholes because pusses are
Starting point is 01:09:49 away from assholes I don't know much about this crazy world but I do if you don't let us fuck this asshole we're going to have her dicks
Starting point is 01:09:59 and pussy's covered and shit ah incredible incredible incredible that was my spot on Seth Rogan
Starting point is 01:10:12 yes Dude, dude, you broke Brett. I don't think we've ever seen Brett like this before. Oh, genius. Absolute genius. I should have turned off my camera, so I have plausible deniability. You do, you do sound like you were singing the blues, bro. You sound like Louis Armstrong than Seth Rowe.
Starting point is 01:10:43 Regisette's just Louis Armstrong. I see gritty. Hussie Pousies for the Shee. Hold on, hold on. I want to hear Sabrina's. I want to hear Sabrina's Louis Armstrong. Yeah. Let's hear it.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Well, sees don't like, dude. Guys, we focus. Alex, movie news. We're laughing too much. I still got other impressions to do. You want to come out now? Since we get that goal or? Louis back here.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Hello, darling. Hasis guys. Nope, no, no. Ashby is a dance. Oh. Ashty. I'm about to faint. I can't catch my brother.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Oh, my God. Louis is almost good as Roxie's Yoda. It's almost as good as Roxie's Yoda. That's a good impression. That's one guys. That one on the roster. I got like two impressions. It's Jaylo and then Louis R.
Starting point is 01:11:55 We're wrong. Let's go. Also, ladies gentlemen, how can you not donate after that incredible performance from Ben Goddard for God's sake as a thank you.
Starting point is 01:12:05 Send in your small bots is a thank you for what we just did and keep us marching towards that 500 and start suggesting that's how it's done. That's the kind of shit that I'd love, though. Where did somebody come up with that?
Starting point is 01:12:17 Yeah. Richard donated $50. Rochellettes have you do the opening patent speech as the Swedish chef. The opening what speech? Fantastic. Somebody find it for me and I'll do it. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:12:38 Oh, my God. All right, so while we're waiting for that, you and Brett should do a cunamata, Trump and Obama. Oh, sorry, you and Winston. Yeah, yeah. Where's that? All right. Let's see Brett's Obama. How do we do duets?
Starting point is 01:12:54 Yeah, I'm Obama. Nope. Do we have a link for that so that we can both be on it? How does it work when we do a duet? I thought the duets were tough to do on here. Just do it, Acapello. What? All right. Hold on. I mean, I can play like a crappy, like, nests.
Starting point is 01:13:15 I can play like a crappy, like, midi version of Hokkaimatata, but it's not going to match up with what you guys are singing. But that'll be funny anyway, right? Sure. All right. Roque, here is, I'm just put in the chat. Here's the link to the lyrics. Which, who are you going to?
Starting point is 01:13:34 Who's Tuna and who sings? What? Yes, it does. It does. So that's why I'm just trying to see. Oh, perfect. Who do you want to be? You choose, man.
Starting point is 01:13:44 I'm cool either way. I feel like Tumone would be Obama. I do feel, I do feel between the two of them that Trump is definitely. Is Pumba the bigger one? Is that who that is? Yeah, he's the Warthog. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we're doing it at Acapella, right?
Starting point is 01:14:01 I guess so. I'll do a crappy backing track, but you guys can just not pay. It's not going to match up anyway, so do your best. Okay. So when should we go? Just tell me when to go. Yeah. Hurry up, Malcolm.
Starting point is 01:14:14 Yeah, come on. Now on Malcolm. Here it is. Spin it. Spin it. Spin it. It, Malcolm, spin it. Uh, Hakuna Matata. What a wonderful phrase. Acuna Matata ain't no passing craze. It means no worries for the rest of your days.
Starting point is 01:14:33 It's our problem-free philosophy. Hakuna Matata. Now, here's the story. When Trump was a young ward hog. When I was a young wardhog. That was very nice. Thanks. He could find his aroma like the certain appeal.
Starting point is 01:14:57 He could clear the Savannah after every minute. I'm a sensitive soul, though I seem thick-skinned. And it hurt that my friends never stood downwind. And oh, a shame. He wasn't really ashamed. I thought of changing my name, like, you know, Fianzzi-Pelosi changed the name for real. Anyway, yes. I don't feel like you would ever change your name, but what is in a name?
Starting point is 01:15:23 And I got downhearted. Whoa, how did you feel? Every time that I... Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, Trump, not in front of the kids. Oh, sorry, I thought they knew about grabbing him by the pussy anyway. Hukuna. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:15:37 What a wonderful phrase. Hakuna matata. Tata. Ain't no passing grace. It needs no worries for the rest of your days. Oh, sing it, kid. It's our problem break. Philosophy.
Starting point is 01:15:59 Do you understand what philosophy is, Trump? I do, yes. It's exactly what got me elected and got you being persona and ungrada with your own people there, the Democrats, the dirty Democrats. This is pretty terrible. We just Akuna Matata, you motherfucker. It means no worries for the rest of your days, if you vote for me, that's for sure. All right, anyway, get out of you.
Starting point is 01:16:20 Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and go. I just worked with a black guy. Is that okay? He's one of the good ones. I know. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Still got three more in the can.
Starting point is 01:16:37 We got Russian Ben and Sabrina doing you complete. me from Jerry McGuire. Oh, yes. Sabrina singing Miss Piggy's song, I'm always going to love you from Muppets Take Manhattan and Roka as Swedish chef doing the patent speaker. Oh, my God. Where are we at money-wise?
Starting point is 01:16:55 Where are we at right now? What are you at, Malcolm? Where are we at? We are at 320. 320. Come on, people. 180 bucks, and we'll do the other impressions for sure. So let's get to $180 more dollars,
Starting point is 01:17:10 and then we'll do those three. impressions. The Swedish chef, the patent, no. I don't know, but. I'm so excited for that. I am so excited for that one. Oh, Alex, have you found? Oh, you found it.
Starting point is 01:17:22 Okay. It's long, but you can cut it off anything you want. Yeah, sure. All right. Sabrina, you ready for Jerry McGuire? When we get to 300, guys, what are we at? What are we at right now? 320.
Starting point is 01:17:42 All right, when we get to $3.50, me and Sabrina will do it. Okay. Also, I like that that one is just like, it's Russian Ben, but it's just me. Like, he's like, we're not, I'm not even going to make you work for an impression. I might do it as Willie Armstrong now. You have a long line at least. Yeah, you got the big line. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:02 All right. I think I can find, so we've got a chef in there. Everyone wants me. It's a good one. It's another thing about this. do switch hold on on the other camera oh go ahead
Starting point is 01:18:16 keep going oh I don't know what's up y'all hey y'all Ben what's up COVID am I right bitch it's fake right it's fake we'll do this now so the show doesn't die on us all right
Starting point is 01:18:35 searching through the chat here it is uh hello I am looking for male or the bride. All right, if this is where it has to happen, this is where it has to happen. I'm not letting you get rid of me. How about that? This used to be my speciality.
Starting point is 01:19:01 I was good in living room. Send me in there, I'll do it alone. And now I just, I don't know. But on what was supposed to be the happiest night of business, it wasn't complete. It wasn't complete. Wasn't nearly close to being in same vicinity as complete. Because I could not share it with you or the proletariat. I couldn't hear your voice or laugh about it with you or the czar.
Starting point is 01:19:29 I missed my wife. We live in a cynical world and we work in a business of tough competitors. So try not to laugh. I love you. You. Oh, shut up. Oh, my God, this is great. Oh, my Lord.
Starting point is 01:20:01 Holy shit. You guys, you had me a hello. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, shit. All right, that's all right. You have one more line, Sabrina. I think you have one more lie.
Starting point is 01:20:22 The other one. She says you had me a hello twice. So now you've got to say it again. Oh, shut up. You had me out. You had me out. Hey. Hey, shut up.
Starting point is 01:20:44 You're scared. Shut up. They suck. They're so. Oh. Oh, my God. That's great. Oh, so good.
Starting point is 01:20:58 So good. Guys were so weird. We are so weird. weird. Truth. Boom a clock donated $50. I need Jamaican Thor and Mexican slash French Benoit Blanc
Starting point is 01:21:14 interrogating Louis Armstrong on a murder. Sabrina's Louis Armstrong, of course. Oh my God. That's genius. Genius. So what we're interrogating you? There's no movie? We're just, we're just interrogating you? That's it? Yeah, she's a suspect of murder.
Starting point is 01:21:35 Interior interrogation room A light swings above We got No we're not going right now We have all this in front of us Well I mean when they donate 50 bucks I think we have to do it on the spot
Starting point is 01:21:53 When they donate 25 Whatever delays yours John That was shit That was good Sabrina Louis why I catch you with a knife, dog? I didn't do this.
Starting point is 01:22:11 Whatever they say that I did, I did not do. But like... Don't you lie to the mighty tour. I know you don't murder them. Moe Nere saw the whole goddamn thing in my name and the king-ass guard. Yo, you don't know shit. He didn't see anything.
Starting point is 01:22:27 But Joneer is correct, ma'am. Just telling you, dog, like, you're fucking guilty as shit. Clearly you did this shit. Don't she lie to the mighty-a-ha-ha-ha-ha. I swear to God, that's a god of thunder. I'll bring it all down on your motherfucking head. I'm going to have my day in court.
Starting point is 01:22:45 Are you doing okay, man? You sound like shit. You got about three minutes before I unleashed a hammer on your ass. But he got the hammer, dog. I've seen that shit. It's crazy. It's local. I did not hit her.
Starting point is 01:23:00 I did not do it. I did not. Are we still going? Because Benito Blanc used to solve the mystery. Honestly, man, I am not even sure about it. The Mighty Torben smoking a lot of that green, green motherfucking viola, you know what I mean? That's the Dutchie, dog.
Starting point is 01:23:22 She! Don't, hey, don't worry, I'm not going to drop this stunt, Tara. They all got high and forgot about the murn. Yo, this Loki is something fierce. Loki, though, I think she's fucking murdered that guy, though. She definitely murdered him. She definitely murdered him.
Starting point is 01:23:49 You listen to my voice, okay? This is the voice of truth. This is the voice of reason. I'm Louis Armstrong. Oh, my God. Fantastic. Oh, fuck. Fantastic.
Starting point is 01:24:04 Fantastic. Oh, God. Best thing I've ever seen. Best thing you've ever seen. I love it. Oh. All right. Where are we at a 370 still?
Starting point is 01:24:20 Come on, people. We're giving you a great comedy gold here. Send in your Schmobots. You know why they haven't put in an issue? Why have you done patent yet, bitch? That's what they ain't done it because we've done patent yet. All right. This is going to get people donate.
Starting point is 01:24:33 Why are we giving bread a break? Why are we giving bread a break? Oh, yeah. Brett. What's your word? Do you have one lined up? Brett's back has been broken after of carrying our bitch asses. That's why.
Starting point is 01:24:46 How many times does Brett have to do an impression by himself for five minutes straight? You rest, young king, you rest. I appreciate that. Yeah, one time somebody's like, I would have seen with drunk Brett, anaconda Brett. There's a flirt for us. I'm like, fuck you, man. Speech and debate, interpretive.
Starting point is 01:25:11 I love how I do love how the one time I do Benito Blanc it's next to Louis Armstrong so no one's going to focus on me Now you carried that one for sure All right, you ready, Roca, I'm ready for this All right, let's see Appropriate bisexual and you donated $50. What the fuck is this show right now?
Starting point is 01:25:44 seriously whatever I'm here for it can we get drunk Britain drunk Obama doing who's on first yeah hold on
Starting point is 01:25:57 yeah I'm down that's a great old timey bit that's a great old tiny bit I love it I only wish I only I only wish they had asked
Starting point is 01:26:07 for DMX to do this because I feel like that shit would be fucking wide I think you can adjust it I think you can do DMX doing it I think they would love that I don't know I'm interested
Starting point is 01:26:16 Oh god, I don't want to Uh No What about you To remember That no bastard Never wanted to ever More by a dying
Starting point is 01:26:27 For his country I don't know if I can do this bitch Keep going Bitch He'd He'd be in He wanted
Starting point is 01:26:36 Why you're making The Porte Down Bastions And that's what he's Come to Man All this I've heard about
Starting point is 01:26:42 America Not warning To fight Wouldn't stay out of war is a lot of whortong. American, traditionally love to fight. Herding, her to the Americans, nobody's thinking of battle.
Starting point is 01:26:56 Jeremy your boys, go to the water in, whether or not you chicken out under the fire. Don't worry about it. How can't you show you're doing all your duty and that's your enemy, wait into them,
Starting point is 01:27:07 spilled their blood, shooting them in the belly when you put your hand in to do a bunch of the goo that a moment of money was in your best thing. You're not one. Great show everyone.
Starting point is 01:27:17 Employers will do anything but pay more since that implies workers actually have value and thus the power to resist. Anyways, if possible, can I get Louis Armstrong and Hank Hill doing the don't lean on the case scene from uncut gems? Oh, oh, dear. Oh, yes, you know, when he was sitting around a fire side of the ground of the United, and he asks you, Hey, what are you doing, Teddy, in the Great World War II? World War II. You want to happen to say,
Starting point is 01:27:50 well, we shall be in Louisiana. All right now, you son, bitches, you know how I feel. Blue. All right,
Starting point is 01:27:56 there is. Oh, my. That's the worst impression I've ever done in my life. I was going to say,
Starting point is 01:28:06 Malcolm, I think you got to turn up the Schmobot during, but the fact that you picked it up back after that Schmobot wrote,
Starting point is 01:28:11 I gave you all the top. That was God tier. That was S tier, bro. That was, that was, that was,
Starting point is 01:28:17 Holy. Swedish chef to like a Muppet to like Helen Mirren making his speech. Like, I have no idea. I was, oh my God, that's so good. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm gonna call it now. I'm gonna call Kristen to break up with her. I need you to ditch lady, lady outlaw. Please be mine.
Starting point is 01:28:34 That was, you have stolen my heart. Also, I didn't understand a sting. I realized like that is sweet, chef. I didn't understand a fucking word you said. So that was so good. You never know. You can never. That was so fucking fun.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. All right. We're at 440. I'd love for us to get to 750 today, ladies Jim, at least over 500. So we're 60 bucks away. Let's get to $7.50 and get some more impressions rolling. 50 bucks gets an immediate impression and otherwise get added on to what we're doing to try to get to the ultimate one. So I just want to give a heartfelt apology for all the laughter today on S-DN guys. I'm really sorry. Changing the format soon, but I really apologize for all the laughter. So unfortunate.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Oh, man. Oh, that's fucking shit. Damn, we're giving you a comedy gold. Send in to your small bots for God's sakes. Come on. Show some appreciation. Alex Willis do we have? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:38 We still have a Sabrina singing Miss Piggy song. I'm going to always love you from Muppets Take Manhattan. Okay. Got drunk, uh, drunk Brett and drunk Obama, who's on first, and Louis Armstrong and Hank Hill doing the don't lean on the case scene from Uncut Jems, which I'm trying to find, but I'm having trouble. Who's Hank Hill? From, uh, no, no, like, I mean, like, who's playing Hank Hill? I don't know. I imagine Sheridan, Brett, right? I'm okay with Brett doing it.
Starting point is 01:30:06 Unless you want to do it. If you want to do a bed, feel free. I would see not cut jams, but that makes it even better. But, like, the thing about the uncut gem scene is, like, those, like, nine people yelling while it's, like, the, he's leaning on the case. God, that movie's just stress. All right. We're all searching. But, yeah, so, do you have the who's on first ready, or?
Starting point is 01:30:38 Did you find it? Winston or no? I think I found it. Here you go. Oh, man. I have, who. My abs. That was something else.
Starting point is 01:30:54 Oh, this is going to be great. Are we doing this first, or is it Sabrina? I say Sabrina does the Miss Piggy. Yeah. I don't know this song, and I don't know how to do Miss Piggy, so I'm going to have to look up these lyrics. Songs I'm going to always love you. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:14 So why don't you guys go first with the Who's on first, and Sabrina could look up the song and list to it. Okay. Would you want to be Abner or Costello? Is Brett there? I think he had me. Oh, perfect.
Starting point is 01:31:29 You did that are he standing still on purpose? Yeah, that he's standing still on purpose. That's his defense mechanism to get out of impressions. I love it. What was the other one we had? Oh, it was Sabrina and Brent and Ben as well. I can sing. All right.
Starting point is 01:31:54 Oh, she's got. All right. How does Miss Piggy sound? She's like, someone help me out here. It's elevated. It's high-pitched. No matter what life may bring,
Starting point is 01:32:09 no matter what I may do, I'm always going to be loving you. I'm going to be a movie star. I'm not learning how to turn a car. Be careful. We'll get to that way. gonna be a veterinarian too and I'm all you ever saw
Starting point is 01:32:33 and then I think I'll study criminal law I'm gonna scuba dive too I'm always gonna love you Mama Dada Chihuahua Yes What? You sound like
Starting point is 01:32:51 What's your name from Legally, is it Jennifer Coolidge from Legally Blonde? Yeah You are devil That was a spot on Jennifer Coolidge right there Taking the dog
Starting point is 01:33:02 You Bomba clock down $50. Be careful what you ask for Ben. Can I get Tor explaining the comfort hold to Benito? Beto what? Do you remember the comfort hole? Yes, I remember the fucking comfort hole. All right, what's next?
Starting point is 01:33:24 So Brett's not back yet, so what's next? Is it that or is it something else? Yeah, drunk Brett and Trump Obama, who's on first, and Louis Armstrong and Hank Hill don't lean on the case. Okay, who's Hank Hill? Do you have the... Oh, Brett's here. All right, Brett.
Starting point is 01:33:45 All right, you want to be Abbott or Costello, Brett? I don't, yeah, I think it doesn't matter. I mean, Costello's a little more... Yeah, it doesn't matter. Well, one of them is clueless about what's happening and the other one is very aware about what's happening. So then I'll be clueless.
Starting point is 01:34:01 Yeah, of course I'm clueless. Yeah, so that's a... That's Costello, right? Costello is the one, Costello is the one, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's the one that... Hey, Abbott! Yeah. Stello's the one that keeps asking,
Starting point is 01:34:17 well, who's on first, and Ava keeps saying yes. All right, all right. Uh, how do you, um, how do you like my lawn club for St. Lou? All those people are going to be into the game today? Guys, for certainly. Man, this isn't be a warbber game.
Starting point is 01:34:41 Well, well, it should be. I mean, yeah, it's playoffs. Hey, hey, hey, how happened? What, what? What are you what? I understand the manager of the team and the whole, and the whole team. Why not? So you're the manager.
Starting point is 01:35:01 I'm the manager. All right, well, you know, and I like to know some of the guys. names in the team so what I mean I'm on the street or in the ballpark I say hello to those people what you know I can introduce you it's fine I am
Starting point is 01:35:17 but they got the funny names though Lou yeah I know they get a little ballpark an awful funny name well let's see on the team we we have who's on first
Starting point is 01:35:32 what's on second I don't know it's on third. Wait, you're the manager? Yeah. You know the guy's names. Yeah. And just didn't tell me their names. Who's on first?
Starting point is 01:35:53 What's on second? I don't know is on third. Then you, uh... You're the ranger! Yes. You know the guy's name. I'm sorry, tell you the names. Who's that first?
Starting point is 01:36:08 Yes. You're going to tell me. Who? The guy in first? Who? The guy playing for the bank, man. Who? The guy in first.
Starting point is 01:36:27 Who is the first? Why are you asking me? I'm asking me. No, I'm going to ask you. I'm telling you. You tell me nothing. You who's up first? Let me be clear.
Starting point is 01:36:41 Go ahead and tell me. That's it. Who? Let me be clear. Who is he? The guy, okay, the guy at first bay. That's his name. That's whose name.
Starting point is 01:36:53 Yes. Who's go ahead and tell me. That's the man's name. That's his name. Yes. You go ahead and tell me. Who's the first? Why is asking me for a man to you who's up first?
Starting point is 01:37:06 That's it. Go ahead, Shelby. Oh. The guy at first. No, that's it. The guy is on first. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:37:23 What's on second? Who's on first? What are I asking you? Who's up first? Now, wait a minute. Don't change the players. Nobody. And it's a simple question, who's a good name guy in first place?
Starting point is 01:37:42 What's the guy's name on second base? Who's on first? No, no, no. He's on third. Now, we're not talking about him right now. You got first baby, man. Yes. And then he fell on the name playing first.
Starting point is 01:38:01 Who? The guy playing first. That's his name. What's the guy's name on first name? No. What's the guy's name on second base? Who's playing first? No, no, he's on third.
Starting point is 01:38:22 First payment every month. When you do you pay money to? Who do you give? Every dollar of it. Yeah. You got to pay the money to somebody for free, don't you? Yeah. Does he give you a receipt?
Starting point is 01:38:39 Sure. How did he sign the receipt? Who? The guy. Oh. The guy. Money is you. That's how we signed it.
Starting point is 01:39:00 Yes. That is it. Yes. That's a bit. That's fantastic. That's a doubt. How about Brett turned into the assistant coach from Waterboy? That was Stella.
Starting point is 01:39:25 Absolutely. Holy shit. I love it. I would fit. I never get some. You need a show. You just need a show. Like on,
Starting point is 01:39:33 you need a movie. We need to put you on the, you need to be in the pictures, kid. Next time your daughter gets a commercial, just have this playing on your phone while you're playing a Pac-Man. You'll get right.
Starting point is 01:39:45 in, Brett. Right. I'm going to send this to my manager. My manager is Marky Costello. She's the granddaughter of Costello. So I'm going to send this to her. She's going to fucking lose her shit. I didn't know she was related to him.
Starting point is 01:40:03 Holy shit. That's crazy. Wow, that's awesome. That bit still never gets old. I don't care. People are going to make fun a whole time of shit all they want. That shit is from the 19-20s. That was great. It's a fucking great shit.
Starting point is 01:40:18 All right. Where are we at, Alex? What have we got? We're at 490. Come on, ladies gentlemen. Get us to that $6.50. We're so close. $150.
Starting point is 01:40:28 Away. If three, you set out of $50 in right now, we'll do your impressions before we get out of here and we'll get to that goal. Come on. Get us there. Get us there. All right. What do we got, Alex?
Starting point is 01:40:40 You got Louis Armstrong and Hank Hill, given the uncut gem scene. And Tor, explaining. comfort holds to Benito. Benito Blanc. Hank Hill, that's, is this, Hank Hill? Yeah, I think that sounds good. God, God.
Starting point is 01:40:57 Yeah, I think that sounds good. God damn it, Bobby. Bro pain and pro pain and accessories. All right, so, and what, what? Got, man. Is there a scene? I couldn't find the scene. Oh, what? What are you trying to do? I have one job, Alex. One job.
Starting point is 01:41:17 Uncut gems. What's up? Uncut Jen scene. Which one? About don't mean on the case? Don't mean on the case. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:41:29 But. Damn, who we are strong? Don't lean on the date. While we do that, uh, Tor, explaining comfort holds to Benito Blanc. Okay. Okay. All right. Why?
Starting point is 01:41:49 Hey, man, don't be a rude boy. I'm just trying to show you how the way I hold my meal near. That's all, you know, all it is right there. The comfort holding, man. All that is right there is to just make you feel good while you're sitting here doing a lot of nutting. See, like, I know, like, I got a nice churro, but I don't need you to, like, grab it or anything, man. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're nothing to be a nasty boy, okay?
Starting point is 01:42:17 Tor is just doing this because we're just sitting here. And we're trying to, we're just sitting here trying to, you know, just relax. That's all it is, man. See, you ain't never heard of a comfort hold. Better like, I'm looking for clues and stuff. Like, Louis Armstrong definitely murdered somebody and, like, you're fucking, like, grabbing my junk. Of course, because this is how tortinks. Whenever I, look, I normally hold me on there, but me on there are off searching in a different part of the building.
Starting point is 01:42:42 But if I hold you, this is a, it allows me to let my mind just work a little better. I don't need you to make that motion with your hands, sir. I don't need that. Can you not? It just helps me tink a little better. That's all. See, here, hold my meal near. You see that?
Starting point is 01:42:58 Hold my mural near. I'm going to break my storm all over you, dog. Hey, well, wait a minute, man. You ain't got to be, like I said, you I got to be a bamba-clacked rude boy. I'll send your ass way back to Vajala. You keep trying that shit with me, you rude boy. Better like my, my dig is not a piñada.
Starting point is 01:43:20 Can you stop hitting it so much? Oh, thank you for keeping me, I'm warm. I am not comfortable right now. What was the, what was the, that's awesome. What was the characters for this one, for the case one? Is it Howard and, Sadie, or Howard and Mari? Who is it?
Starting point is 01:43:49 And Kevin Garnett? Yeah, I see that Amari one. That's the very first draft. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I mean, you could do that. Could do that one. Kevin Garnett, huh? What does he say?
Starting point is 01:44:03 All right, I can't find it. That's how she's to watch. And there's like 40 people in it. Oh, okay. All right, all right. Sorry, y'all. They put it in the chat if they want a different thing that may, I mean, we could do for the, maybe it's something like that.
Starting point is 01:44:17 Because if it's too difficult, we can still give you something. I like the characters. I just don't like, it's just not a, it's not a good two-person scene. Stanley Gucci. That's from Stanley Gucci. And the Gucci, you're at, Stan. My brother, Guch. My brother, Guch. Alex, do we have any other stream labs while we wait?
Starting point is 01:44:32 My man. We're only doing small bots today. Oh, yeah. That's right. I forgot. I forgot. I forgot. I forgot.
Starting point is 01:44:39 We got 12 minutes left. Come on, people. Send in your Smobots right now. If Malcolm is correct, we're at 490. I feel like we're higher than that, but Malcolm's saying 490. So please send in your smobots. Get us to cross that line. Three of you, sending it $150.50 each.
Starting point is 01:44:56 We'll get there. Come on. Get your impression. Let's go. Let's say three people send it $150. That's my favorite. That's my favorite Roqueism. Easy math, boy.
Starting point is 01:45:08 Don't break it up these monies. If a thousand of you just send in $1,000, like, I mean, we're right there, 100K, it's done. Like, we're good. Come on now. Don't know the deal. send it in show some love for the work we've been doing today and making you laugh for sure maybe we've been having too much fun I mean people hate watching people have fun
Starting point is 01:45:31 let's talk about movie news seriously you're about this foggy thing haven't you seen Day of the Dead yet or the Army of the Dead rather has anybody seen no I've heard good things about it though yeah yeah me too I'm reserving tomorrow to see just watch this thing. I'm so bad that it's not coming to AMC, like I was going to A-List the hell out of it,
Starting point is 01:45:56 but I guess I'm like, it's only in Regal. It's only in Regal cinema. Yeah, it's like Regal and I know like the Cynemark in North Hollywood, I think has it. And it's like I might go there,
Starting point is 01:46:05 but it's like, your boys broke. So I might just wait for Netflix. Which, which, what was I going to say? Yeah, it's on Netflix today. It's on Netflix today. Oh, perfect.
Starting point is 01:46:17 Yeah, I'm going to watch it on Netflix Netflix tonight, though. Yeah. Yeah. The pay-per-view. Sounds perfect. I, like, I want to, like, Dan. Dan, like, when Dan's, like, super excited about a movie, I'm just like, wow, that's something.
Starting point is 01:46:30 Because, like, this doesn't seem like a Dan Merrill movie, but I just, like, I don't want two and a half hours, man. Like, it's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot, guys. Seriously. Cut your movies down. Guys. And especially because, like, I was studying, uh, I was studying.
Starting point is 01:46:49 for the lightning time match and we put DreamWorks on the wheel. And I watched all the DreamWorks movies. They're all the only good thing. One, there's a few hidden gems in there. The Crudes, both Crudes movies underrated. But they're all 90 minutes long. It was so great. I got to do like five a day because you're just going through them.
Starting point is 01:47:11 Like Prince of Egypt, I think is the longest one at an hour of 40. I love Prince of Egypt. And then you didn't even spin it, did you? Or did you spin it? No, it didn't even. spin it. That's always the best. You study for shit that you don't end up getting.
Starting point is 01:47:25 Oh, my God. I remember against Kalinowski last year, I think, I studied James Bond for like five fucking days or a year and a half ago, whatever it was. And he didn't even spin on it. And I'd even land on it. And I'm like, ah! I can't blame me for that because that was the year that Mike
Starting point is 01:47:42 was getting like spinners choice and bond every other match. So I was like, I'm not going to, I know how this works. I better study this. I've seen McQueenie spend 80s eight times in a row. So I didn't want to answer it. Roca, to this day, it's probably one of my greatest accomplishments in the Schmodelown, the fact that, like, we had to multiple choice our way through it, but, like, didn't let Mike steal a single bond.
Starting point is 01:48:03 I was about that shit. Yeah. That was fire. Dude, you guys had, uh, danger zone. You had danger zone that first round. We had them. And certainly deception, deception had that on a plate. I was so shocked they didn't take care.
Starting point is 01:48:19 business because nobody has nobody's had an upset in the team's tournament so i was hoping there would be won and it would be deception they played great i mean they no they really did it's it's one of those situations too which it sucks because like they got they got their strength and movie release dates yeah so it's just like you know what are you going to do when like we went perfect and went multiple choice once and then they were able to just you know come in and do their uh do their thing on that so It's wild that so many matches came down to the first round. Like I feel like rarely in teams or in singles now, like, everyone's like, okay, round one, like they got a perfect round.
Starting point is 01:48:58 You got seven. You're good to go. But like both those matches. Like even matches against you, Rocco, like, uh, I mean, because what was it? Pressroom got 10 points in round two, but by that time, it was too late. Yeah. It was just like, damn, dude. Like, like so many teams have done so well.
Starting point is 01:49:14 And, you know, just like my match, you know, came down to getting one question right or wrong in round one. and the one question we missed in round two, like it's a wild tournament. Yeah, I've adjusted my studying to be focusing on round one more because you're starting to see that people are coming, people are understanding how to study for round two.
Starting point is 01:49:33 And round three is just, you just never know, right? But you can control round one as much as possible, and you'll be aware of things in round two because you'll get that wheel or whatever. But round one is the one where I think now has become more important than ever because it gives you a good foundation to play in round two. In this season, more than any other season,
Starting point is 01:49:55 I've seen it become important. Last season, round two was really important for a lot of people. This season, round one seems to be the one that people are using to kind of intimidate other teams or intimidate other players. Would you guys think of a Taylor's five-pointer yesterday? I don't want to complain about the questions. I don't want to complain about the question because I love PJ, but that was a fucking tough-ass five-pointer
Starting point is 01:50:20 of a random split second something on the screen. What was it? I felt bad. What is the name of the airport Vin Diesel flies into in Bloodshot after he completes his first mission? Oh, I haven't seen Bloodshot. Richard donated $50.
Starting point is 01:50:36 Let's have directed a brave heart speech as Carol Channing. Channing. Yes. Is that the freedom speech, right? Yes. Oh, my God. Malcolm, do the numbers again.
Starting point is 01:50:57 I feel like we're higher than 540. Stop gaslighting Malcolm. Running the numbers. We're stopping the Schmobach. Schmobach confirms. That is correct. Okay, all right. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:51:10 Very much. So we're at 540. We're 110 bucks away from that $6.50 goal. Let's get there. Come on. We got five minutes, six minutes, eight minutes left. maybe send in some stuff here, get us into that goal. But as Brett Sheridan looks up past me.
Starting point is 01:51:23 Do you, wait a minute, Roka, do you know how time works? Did you say we have five minutes, six minutes, eight minutes left? I never know, like, who can drop out, who can't try, who can stay a little bit. I was just confused. I was like, I mean, we can go over, but I don't know if that's how time works, my friend. Once you cross a certain line, time becomes like irrelevant. Well, Brett is looking that up. Okay, so real quick recap, y'all.
Starting point is 01:51:49 So a lot of very gorgeous women have been taking advantage of Twitch's terms of service because they said you can't do lingerie. You can't do any non-applicable clothing. So they're wearing bikinis, but they're actually in hot tub. So there's been like a lot of hot tub streams lately. And dumb people are complaining about it because like they're making so much money. They're like taking viewership and stuff like that. And honestly, I'm all about it.
Starting point is 01:52:17 for all the reasons. But Twitch, like the main, the main woman, her name's Amaranth. She got her ads taken down off Twitch so she can't run ads anymore for no reason. Like didn't give her a warning, nothing. And now Twitch is, usually it would be under a, you know, you have categories on Twitch, what game you're playing or just chatting, fitness, stuff like that. There is now an official hot tub category. So there is literally going to be a tab on your Twitch,
Starting point is 01:52:47 home page that says hot tub. This is groundbreaking stuff over here. Are you going to start your hot tub stream? Hell yes. That's what I'm saying. Look, I just want to be invited to Ben's hot tub. That's it, because I no longer have one in my apartment, so I just need a hot tub to go to.
Starting point is 01:53:06 Ours is closed. I'm waiting to get it open, but, yeah, as soon as it is, your boy is. Ben, do we have the same desk? Is it the black L one? Oh, yours is the L, but we have this, like I'm looking at it's the same color, and we, I wish I could show the drawer, but like the handles and like the design look the same. So I guess it's the same one, but with an L. I could have sworn this came up before.
Starting point is 01:53:31 I need a soldier to say some lines. All right. Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Can you be the soldier? What is it? Yes, certainly.
Starting point is 01:53:44 All right. Here we go then. Sons of Scotland. I am William Wallace. William Wallace is seven feet tall. Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds. And if he were here, he'd consume the English with fireballs from his eyes
Starting point is 01:54:04 and bolts of lightning from his arse. I am William Wallace. And I still, you all me, my countrymen here in defiance of him. tyranny. You've come to fight as free men and free men you are. What would you do with that freedom? Will you fight? Fight against that? No, we will run and we will love. I. Fight and you may die. Run and you live at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, you'll be willing to trade all those days from this day to that for one chance. Just a while. Just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never
Starting point is 01:54:56 Alva Gabbroh. Alva Gabbro! Alva Gabra! God damn. That was very much. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Jesus. Come on, people. You can't donate for that.
Starting point is 01:55:12 Donate for that. Send in your Smobots right now. Give us some love. All right, we got about Two, three, four, five, six. We got about three minutes left. Three minutes. Three minutes.
Starting point is 01:55:31 Do we have any more impressions we need to do, Alex, on the docket? We're just waiting for, what's his name, Stanley Gucci to give us another suggestion for a different one. Oh, oh. Come on, Gouche. He's probably at the go. Otherwise. Brad Kate's played it today, 10-dollar patrons. It's still a show.
Starting point is 01:55:50 One p.m. Tagline. Don't tell Christian. We're still billing for it. Who's your guest today? Do you have a guest today? We're just, we had another one of those mournings of, hey, we're doing a show today. Kate's having issues, her dishwasher exploded practically last night.
Starting point is 01:56:10 We're going to talk a little bit of that. We're going to talk about my trip to Nalans. and my jealousy of my daughter. No, I love her. She's amazing. She's a jealousy? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:25 Oh, no, no. Come on. It's good. She's, I'm proud of her. It was a- Someone else to do the work for a change, brother. Oh, yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:56:33 All right. If we got any more chats coming in, any stream labs coming in, or small bots, rather, any small-bots coming in? What have we got here, Malcolm? Come on, people. All right.
Starting point is 01:56:43 Should we just kill it? I mean, we got as far as we can get. I was so close. I thought we were so close to six. Oh, well. All right. Let's wrap it up there. Just in case, one comes up.
Starting point is 01:56:53 I'm going to take a little bit longer to wrap it up. Thank you so much for joining us here on SCL Live. We appreciate it madly. Thanks for all the stream labs. Super chats and schmobots. It was a smobot-only show, but we appreciate it madly. Thanks to Wednesday, Marshall. Real quick, where can they find you?
Starting point is 01:57:09 You can find me at the Swaggy Blurred. It's right there below my face. Uh, the Inner Geekdom show. We're going to be reviewing the Modoc next week. I'm sorry, Ben. I ask you to do Jupiter's legacy, and now I'm doing the modoc. You look so mad at me. Don't be mad at me.
Starting point is 01:57:24 Don't be a rude boy. Rude boy. Come on. You're muted. Oh, you're muted. Hey, Ben, can you watch eight hours of this piece of shit show? Uh, next week we're going to do this funny cartoon. That's 20 minutes long.
Starting point is 01:57:38 Thanks. I love you. I love you with all my heart. Yeah, yeah. You can do a Loki episode if you want. Oh, thanks. Yeah. Everywhere at the Ben Goddard, y'all, June 7th.
Starting point is 01:57:52 I'm doing a big event on the Twitch stream. I'll have all, like, I'll have graphics. I'll have everything announced. But keep June 7th, circle on your calendar, guys. I just want to announce that now. Nice. All right. Sabina Ramirez, where can they find you and everything that going on, young lady?
Starting point is 01:58:07 Watching Ben's hot tub stream on June 11th. That definitely. But on. Twitter and Instagram at Sabrina X Monica and then also on Twitter at Sabrina on film. There you go. I hope it's a hot tub stream. I think at some point
Starting point is 01:58:24 down the road once we're all back so we give it we should do a Friday hot tub S.E.N. Live. I think that would be awesome. I'm so important. Just need my leg to close and I'm there. What's all this red in the water? God damn it with it.
Starting point is 01:58:40 What have you got? Oh, you'll find me here some of the L.A.U. Unified school district free food my daughter's been getting. And I just on a serious note, I want to say something. It makes me appreciate what I have because they feed these kids absolute dog shit and we should be better to our children. But they throw it away if they don't get rid of it. So we take it home and the stuff she doesn't like, I've been eating. And I ate three different things from there. And I was surprisingly lethargic and worn down because of the 7,000 ingredients. But let's change our school meals, people.
Starting point is 01:59:14 That's my little soapbox for today. It's come from my French bread pizza or for my macaroni and cheese and three sausages. You stay away from that shit. Alex Marzodia, where can they find you? What you got going on, my man? I got it in the Heights video coming on June 1st, delaying it a little bit. But also, Roque, if you want to delay the stream a little bit more, wait for another schmobot. I just got something breaking for you.
Starting point is 01:59:37 Henry Cavill is in talks to star in the Highlander reboot, directed by Chad Stahelsky. So there you go. All right. That's great. That's awesome. I love that idea. That's fantastic. Make sure you don't cast another Scottish guy as the Spaniard.
Starting point is 01:59:53 That would be great. There's a lot of Latino actors now that you can go find them. The great Sean Conner. No offense. I just saw Gerard Butler as cast as a Spaniard. You know what? I wasn't even mad. It's Sean Conner.
Starting point is 02:00:10 I wasn't even mad. Don't worry. The mighty Tor will play the Highlander. But Benito Blanc has got the Spaniard down on log, dog. There can be only one. Louis Armstrong is free. I could do this one. Wait, what if you are with tree Highlanders?
Starting point is 02:00:29 There could be a total of tree. All right. I got to get out of here. We got to go. Thanks everybody for watching for S&A live. Thank you, Malcolm, as well. I always appreciate you, I appreciate you handling things behind the scenes, brother.
