Starting point is 00:00:01 I don't know, a microphone. Now I do. How's it going, everybody? Welcome back to the show. This is a live impromptu episode of the big thing. So normally on Tuesdays, a swig of water, if you will, what I do is I've had for the last year on Tuesdays, UAP Tuesdays. And before that, I didn't even have a show on Tuesday. But then I started my own channel, down Earth with Christian Harlow, where we cover that.
Starting point is 00:00:31 for every day, daily news from Monday through Friday. And it made more sense to move it over there. So we aired the first episode on Down to Earth, which UAP Tuesday is now over there. So then that leaves Tuesday for things like this. I can do impromptu live streams. I think eventually I think what's going to happen is once we build this studio out a little bit more, we're going to add a chair over here.
Starting point is 00:00:59 We're going to add a chair over here. We're going to do a live in studio Tuesday show with the crew that I find for New York. I talk to Steph and Mike. We're doing our Acolyte Spoiler episode for tomorrow. So that'll be up on the channel. Thursday is going to be me, Roxy, and Brett. Friday will be capes and cows. I'm doing out of the theater reactions, all that and more.
Starting point is 00:01:22 So today on the show, there's really going to be two things that I cover, unless there's something in particular that you guys want to hear about, talk about, all that. But the two main things are we had a discussion on Monday, myself and Roka, we talked about a billion-dollar movies. And there was a question that was asked during one of the super chats. And that was, can movies still make a billion dollars if they aren't getting the China releases? Because there's not a lot of U.S. movies that are getting China releases. And we said it's a lot easier to get to that one billion when you do have that release. Well, it adds to the fact that Deadpool might get there because Deadpool does get a release in China.
Starting point is 00:02:07 So does that guarantee that it's going to make a billion dollars? Does it give the odds a little bit more in its favor, if you will? We'll discuss that. We'll talk about some of the stuff going on there. Uncharted was a movie that did well. Now, I really enjoy the video game series. I think it is a completely different thing what they did. The movie itself is just a different thing.
Starting point is 00:02:32 It's not the, I know they went younger and they went to Tom Holland because he's Tom Holland. They had deal with them at Sony. I like Mark Wahlberg, not Sully at all. Doesn't matter what I think. Doesn't matter what you think. It made money and they're going to make a second one. So there's that.
Starting point is 00:02:51 So we'll discuss that that's a good idea, bad idea, video game movies in general of have they started to, make a little bit more of a comeback, just a video game, the way they're approaching it. I still think on Charter would have been a better television series in the same way that last of us turned out to be a pretty good series. So there are things that we're going to discuss here. And as always, I saw already that some people had thrown in super chats, throw in those
Starting point is 00:03:15 super chats. And what I will do is at the end of the topic, I will make sure that I get to all of them. And that's what we're going to be talking about at the end of the show. show. So if there's anything you want to talk about it, if it's something about the studio, something about the crew, something about movies, television, whatever it might be, we will discuss it on the live stream today. So somebody throw in something right now. So let's get into it. It is the big thing. Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. I'm ready and you're ready. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:03:52 It's up one and all. The big thing. It is Monday. Speaking of doing shows live, I'm going to be doing a show live this Friday. Not podcasting, but, well, I guess kind of podcasting, but in-person, live event with the great Dan Merle. I'm going to be in the city. That link is in the description as well.
Starting point is 00:04:24 There's only like now 15 tickets left, maybe 20. But we are doing a show together. We're talking about summer movies and the balance. bouncing back at the box office and all that. So Dan and I are going to talk for about an hour, a little over an hour, and we're doing a meet and greet and do all that on Friday, the show. So hopefully if you're on the East Coast or close to it,
Starting point is 00:04:46 you can come and you can come check us out. I love to have you there. So once again, the link is in the description for mine and Dan Merle. If you want to go to my Twitter account, it's pinned on both the big thing Twitter account, and it's pinned on just my personal Twitter account. So you can go on over there, get tickets for myself, and Dan Merle.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Okay, so what shall we discuss first? Let's get into the whole conversation about, well, we'll do Uncharted. Why? They chose for us, and then we'll do Deadpool. But they chose Uncharted. So we're going to go Uncharted. Fine by me. So Uncharted is going to get a sequel.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Now, I don't know if people are happy about it or I don't know. But this is from Garth Franklin, over at Dark Horizon. Sony Pictures gave the first major studio presentation at the 2024 Senate Europe trade show on Monday with a screening of Greg Berlanti's rom-com, Fly Me to the Moon and a rundown of its upcoming titles. They touted projects already wrapped like Wolves, Craven the Hunter and Venom, the Last Dance, that's part of the Venom thing, all coming out this year. Also mentioned were films in production or Greenlit, like 28 years later, Tycho, Otiti's Clara and the Sun,
Starting point is 00:06:02 Jason Reitman's Saturday Night Live 1975 and Sam Mendes for Beatles films. The surprise, though, were contained with shoutouts to two game to film adaptations on the way. The live action Zelda movie based on Nintendo's hit video game franchise, but that wasn't news. What was a surprise is that Sony Pictures Entertainment Steve O'Dell gave a specific shoutout to the uncharted sequel. The studio finally and officially confirmed they are moving forward with the development of the movie. It follows on six months from the last update of the film, which was from Mark Wahlberg, who said a script was being written. Tom Holland, Wallberg led the 2022 film adaptation of the acclaimed popular PlayStation video game,
Starting point is 00:06:47 and the movie itself got mixed reviews. But it worked well for the studio. The audience polls were very good, and it grossed 400 million worldwide on 120 million budget. So that's what I was, talking about. That's right. That's what I was talking about. It is a movie that did fairly well. It did well. My head is cut off. My head's cut off. My head wasn't cut off. Anyway, anyway, this is to me, Uncharted is a movie that I was very excited about because I love the game. Just like all you. I love that game. And I like Tom Holland. And I like Mark Wahlberg.
Starting point is 00:07:35 But I just, it's one of those movies. It's like it got it. It had a hit. It had a hit on its hand, right? So they said, okay, we did it right here. We made the right moves. We didn't have to make it like the video game. We didn't have to go directly because that's what they do so many different times.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Right. They'll take that. That's what has failed with video games movies so many times is that they have this core. of the story that people love. And they just change it and they retool it and they don't get the characters right. And nine out of ten times, it eats it. And they go, what happened?
Starting point is 00:08:13 Well, this one was the one out of the tent because they maneuvered stuff so. I mean, yeah, they had him kind of. He was a smart ass, sure. And again, I like Tom Holland a lot. It just doesn't fit Nathan Drake to me at all. And Sully is, Mark Wahlberg is the farthest thing from Sully, the farthest thing. And it just didn't fit. It's like Mark Wahlberg being Mark Wahlberg, they did a good comedy, but it seemed like a different movie.
Starting point is 00:08:42 But as I said, it doesn't matter because it made money, the audience had fun watching it. So it makes sense. This is that whole conversation carried over again that Roka and I were having the other day when we were speaking about like Ackle. It's all about business. It's about business. If you're looking at this and you're saying if you're a studio executive and you're like, okay, this makes some sense. We need another uncharted movie.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Same cast who cares with the video game uncharted nerds are saying it's like the same that Percy Jackson, right? The first Percy Jackson movie, I think the decent, right? And most Percy Jackson fans of the books are like, what the hell was that? What was that? And then the people who were making the movies, go, I don't care what you think, made money. And then the farther it got away from it, the less people cared about it. But I wonder if they're actually going to change some things up.
Starting point is 00:09:35 I wonder if they're going to change some things up when it comes to this movie. Because when I saw it in the theater, like I said, I didn't, I didn't mind it. It was fine. It just wasn't an uncharted movie. It was a popcorn movie. And I think it, I think uncharted dessert better. But it wasn't, some people think it was terrible. It depends on how you're looking at it, right?
Starting point is 00:09:58 If you cannot get over the fact that it's not an uncharted movie, then you're going to think it's terrible. I got over it and I said, this is just a different version in general, but it's a second movie. It's a second movie now coming out that will probably wind up doing fairly well. Will they make it more like the book as the book, the game as Tom Holland is getting a little older?
Starting point is 00:10:23 Mark Wahlberg's getting a little older. so maybe they make it a little bit more um I say relatable to the to the uncharted fans I don't know what do you guys think once again throw in those comments
Starting point is 00:10:38 the um because this might be a shorter show today because what I what I planned on doing like I said is I was going to do like two or three stories and then answer any questions that you guys want if you don't give a shit about questions today I don't blame you it's fine we'll do um
Starting point is 00:10:54 we'll do, we'll do, we'll do, we'll do, we'll do my reaction of that. I'm going to do, I'm not doing an immediate reaction for the accolite because I already pre-taped the first four of them, but I will do that my reaction for it will be up. My spoiler review for acolyte will be up. And then I have to start watching some other things. I got to start watching. I got to watch the boys. I saw somebody asking me if I was going to do a, um, dark matter review once it's, done and the answer is yes I will I don't think it's going to do a damn I don't think there's going to be a lot of people who watch it but I've come to the point now I don't care I'm going to start I'm just going to start posting things that I want to do and it's like okay if if you if you want
Starting point is 00:11:39 to if you want to get a recommendation for a good show I recommend watching that one because the the dark matter is really really really good I have to start watching the boys I think I'm going to start doing that pretty soon um and then what am I going to see I'm going to see Quiet Place Day 1 next week. I'm pretty sure I'm going to see Horizon. I am working on some interviews. And as I said, the studio is coming along. So I'm pumped about that.
Starting point is 00:12:11 And that's it. So let's get to the next topic here. And here we go. So the one that I kind of led the whole thumbnail and all that stuff is of course this Deadpool series sees a story rather so here is the story of deadpool it's getting a china release but this is overall dark horizon says Sean Levy's Deadpool and Wolverine is expected to have the year's biggest box office opening and in these few weeks leading up to its release discussion has turned to other Marvel heroes within
Starting point is 00:12:51 their orbit. There's a new feature piece on the movie for Total Film and that has revealed new stills and quotes from those involved. One question asked is who they would like to see Deadpool team up with next following Wolverine in the film. Charlie has an obvious answer to this one. He said, boy, I'd love to see Deadpool and Spider-Man. That's a movie I'd love to make. I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else. With the article came some new stills as well, one of those, Deadpool and Wolverine standing alongside a number of characters in the background, albeit slight blurry, who seemed to be pruned variants from the timeline. It's clear two of them are Toad and Juggernaut from the X-Men films,
Starting point is 00:13:31 but a third one appears to be a deep cut, namely the version of Blade from the 2006 TV series, Blade, the series, starring Sticky Fingers. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, co-starred in Blade Trinity and has on the record spoken about how he didn't get along with current Blade star Wesley Snipes. Thus, this potential appearance, which hasn't been confirmed anyway, has multiple levels of humor to it, especially now considering Marvel's difficulty getting the new Blade going. The talk and photos come as it has been confirmed. The film will get a release in mainland Chinese cinemas on July 26th, the same day
Starting point is 00:14:09 as it hits the U.S. Additionally, and despite being Marvel's most adult franchise, the film will reportedly incur only minimal cuts for its China release. Both stars and the film's director will visit China on July 2nd to promote the film. Those cuts are said to be due to violence, blood and gore, and language, and don't impact the film's storytelling. Okay, so what does this mean overall is what I ask you guys? Because there is only so many people that, sorry, so many movies that can do,
Starting point is 00:14:47 the billion dollar. And you remember, you guys remember back in 2016, 2015, 2016, 2017. I feel like every other movie was hitting a billion dollars. And it's very rare to do it now. It's hard to do it now. Post-COVID, all that. And a point that was brought up the other day is one of the major reasons why is because a lot of these movies aren't getting China releases.
Starting point is 00:15:12 This one is. This one, the trailer has been getting people excited. It's got that buzz. It has that feel to it. You can feel people really getting hyped to see this one. It's one of the most anticipated for most people. If you look at what Inside Out did and you look at the conversation that a movie that is a sequel to a beloved film, people love that first movie.
Starting point is 00:15:38 And if it delivered and it was quality, it was going to hit. And granted, as I said the other day, definitely has to do with the fact that parents need to be able to take their kids to see something. something. Couple that with the idea that this is a movie that is a really good movie, you're going to get a hit on your hands. And you have a very good shot with the money that it's made so far that this movie could make a billion dollars inside out too. And I don't even know if that had a China release. I don't think it did. It might. I'm not sure. I don't believe it did. But Deadpool is going to clean up. And I think that it opens up close to $200 million here. I really do. It's going to open up. really, really big. And it's going to get to a billion dollars for sure. I'm just, I'm, I'm, I'm guarantee. Rook is going to owe me like two stakes. So this is a, this is a really big,
Starting point is 00:16:30 it's a really big story, I think, because it's going to, it, it gives a little bit more of, it's something Marvel needs. It's something the MCU needs. So we'll see. I'm very curious to hear what you guys think about it. Do you think that this is going to be, does this, does this kind of lock it in and i know i saw some people say nothing's guaranteed no nothing is guaranteed but does it give you does it give it give it more of a shot overall and then as far as the variants go i mean that's one of the things too because it is going to be it's going to be a gimmick right that's what now spider man no way home could have just been a gimmick but it was part of the gimmick was get the spide get the get the get all three spider men back together whether it was it was the
Starting point is 00:17:14 worst kept secret out there, right? But the idea of it was intriguing. And to their credit, they didn't promote with it. They wanted it to be a surprise. And you knew that it was going to happen anyway. But once it did, they made it work and it worked for the overall story. So you would assume with what Sean Levy is saying and the way that Ryan Reynolds has put heart into this and knowing what's at stake in general with the multiverse and all those other things and how they're playing and they're watching all the Marvel stuff and making it work for Deadpool, you feel like it's not going to be just a gimmick. It'll be a gimmick, but it's not going to be just a gimmick.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It's also going to have heart. There's also going to be a lot of jokes. And then the idea of the blade thing, I think, that is right away when you have the fact that sticky things, you know, when you do that that 2006 blade. you know there's going to be references. It would be great if they were able to settle, you know, put their differences aside. And Wesley Snipes actually showed up
Starting point is 00:18:19 and they had some kind of a conversation together. I think people would lose their minds if Wesley Snipes showed up as blade. People will lose their minds. Absolutely. It would be great. Now, the other thing that stood out obviously was the idea that, look,
Starting point is 00:18:36 let's take everything that we just said here. And let's say that Sean Levy makes a billion dollars with this movie. He's a billion dollar director. And Deadpool's a billion dollar. You know, there's going to be ads that have a billion dollar Deadpool and stuff. Well, Sean Levy is going to be the golden boy, right, after that. And there's already talk about him doing one of the Avengers movies. There's all that.
Starting point is 00:18:57 So if he decides that he wants to do a Deadpool movie with Spider-Man, and he's probably going to have a shot to do that. That's the kind of stuff that. that Marvel should be doing right now. Because now I know there's going to be people who disagree with it. But the other stuff, the obscure stuff, it ain't working. It's not working right now in the way that it did before. Wolverine and Deadpool.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Yeah. Golden ticket. Do it. Deadpool and Spider-Man. Hell yeah, sign me up. That's what you use it. You got it. You have them in their prime.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Do it. That's what I say. I don't know. What do you say? You agree? Disagree? I don't know. I want to hear your comments. So put them in there. Before I move on and we're going to get some questions. I'm going to also skim, see if there's any more topics to cover. I wanted to tell you guys, as I tell you guys all the time, about we've got some great sponsors here too. I'll tell you about two of them right now. And of course, that's Rocket Money in AG1. Let me tell you about them. Here you go. I've told you about Rocket Money, guys. And the reason why for Rocket Money was so important,
Starting point is 00:20:07 is that I, for a long time, I used to do these things where I'd be on my phone and I'd start searching for these apps. I'm like, oh, okay, yeah, I'll sign up. Oh, for free? Yeah, it's free for now. But then it's going to be $20, $30 a month and you forgot that you're even paying it. And I said, oh, well, this rocket money lets you know about what subscriptions that you have that you're not paying attention to. It can cancel subscriptions for you. It really is amazing. And it just, it just cuts so much time out of my schedule. And I, I love it because you don't even know how much you're paying in subscriptions. You're probably paying way more than you think because over 74% of people have subscriptions they've forgotten about. I definitely did that. I can tell you that right now.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Like there was a couple of, I'm telling some of these apps. I tried some of these apps. I'm like, oh, shoot, I forgot all about it. You think you spent around 62 per month on subscription, something like that, but it's close to about 300. It close about 300 a month. Because Rocket Money is also, it's a personal finance app, and it finds it cancels your unwanted subscriptions it monitors all of your spending and it helps lower your bills so you can grow your savings because i got full control over my subscriptions i have a clear view of my expenses it helped tremendously on this move um and you don't want to waste money so it's got over five million users and they saved they see from what they said the average people i think overall everyone that's using
Starting point is 00:21:25 500 million in cancel subscriptions well it's yeah saves about seven hundred 40 dollars a year it's great money on things that you don't use you just cancel your unwanted subscriptions you go to rocketmoney dot com slash thing rocketmoney.com slash thing very easy rocket money.com and i got to tell you about ag1 you guys know age you one i mean if you've been listening to this show long enough you know that i love age you one and people keep asking me they didn't notice john even said when i started as i look new look 20 pounds i lost one of those reasons ag1 became part of my routine because that for you for a long time, I wasn't paying attention what was going on in my body. It just wasn't. For me, I read labels. I verify that everything is up to the quality I need, and that is why I've stayed with AG1 for as long as I have.
Starting point is 00:22:13 It is a research-backed foundational nutrition supplement, and it delivers daily nutrients, gut health support, and it's backed by multiple research studies so you can trust what you're putting into your body. Because I do. I like coffee. I normally, I used to drink. so much coffee to keep up, but I don't need it anymore, not as much. Because after drinking AG1, I have realized that I have all this energy and I need less coffee to power my day. It turns out I'm not alone because in a research study, 91% of people notice they needed less coffee after 60 days of drinking AG1. 97% of people in a research study felt more energy after 30 days of drinking AG1. That's crazy. 91% of participants notice that they need less coffee after 60 days
Starting point is 00:23:01 of drinking age one that's me energy is a majorly important reason why it comes to i need so much energy for parenting i can tell you that right now age you one contains ingredients sustain energy so you can be the best version of yourself within each day and it really has worked for me and it's helped me on the plane everything it's easy it's satisfying to start your journey with age you one if you go to age you one and you can get a free one year supply of vitamin d3k2 and five free free AG1 travel packs. It's your first purchase. You've got to go to drinkag1.com slash big thing. Drinkag1.com slash big thing. It's the one product I trust to support my whole body health. It is. It's AG1. Can I point something out to you guys? Because I don't necessarily know if a lot of
Starting point is 00:23:54 people know how this works in general. And I got a number that came back to me. And I said, I'll share this with the audience. Because I don't think that they don't think a lot of people do. And maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there are their podcasts that do this and I don't know. But the way that it works, overall with like sponsorships and stuff too is you know and I and I get into conversations with creators all the all the time that don't know how this works because when you do you know you'll have like let's what they're called brand deals and their things that are like the other there's someone that's coming soon to do something that's a brand deal and they're like okay well as long as
Starting point is 00:24:30 as the video can do X amount of views and people like our product and everything too we're happy and that's what it is well it's different with these kind of long-time sponsors because you get people that you want on the show. And the way that they stick around and come back is it's called conversions. And so basically what it is like there's conversion rates. And even like we're numbers are pretty good overall for the full week of what we do as far as our views and everything. But our conversion rate is really good. And that means that the audience is clicking on it, checking it out, clicking on that link,
Starting point is 00:25:04 not even necessarily purchasing it right away, but looking at it. saying, oh, what is this product? So when you guys click on that link and when you look at it, when you get yourself something, it really does boost this channel and boost this show up. And it helps us keep going. So I thank you guys for that because you, because I got the number from somebody today said, the conversions of people listening are really good. So I wanted to thank you.
Starting point is 00:25:26 And I don't know, I don't even necessarily know if everybody knows how that stuff works. So you can give a shit about it. But I just wanted to tell you overall, that's how it works. Speaking of numbers, how is it the dragon? season two. There he is. Now, the numbers, they're a little down, but 22% down from last weeks, last weeks, last years. The second season premiere of HBO's popular House of the Dragon, which is a spinoff, Game of Thrones series, it drew 7.8 million. It's pretty good number still, to the HBO cable channel and Mac streaming service Sunday night. Winterbrose discovery says a 22
Starting point is 00:26:07 percent drop from those who turned into the series premiere in 2022. The first episode of season two, which aired at the same time as the Tony Awards, is more than two million viewers behind the 10 million that tuned into House of Dragon series premiere on its Sunday night debut almost two years ago, to which I say those two million people missed out. When it first premiered, House of the Dragon, became the largest series premiere in HBO history, according to the network, and HBO at the time said day of viewership for Sunday night. It equates to only 20% to 40% of her show's total audience. Within three months of the initial release, HBO reported the first season ended up averaging
Starting point is 00:26:46 29 million viewers to be the most watched show since Game of Thrones at the time. It was beaten by The Last of Us. Despite the fall, the second season still greatly outpaced its predecessor shows initial live viewership. Game of Thrones premiered in 2011 to 4.15 million viewers within 90 days, average viewership had risen to 9.3. All right. So that is a number for sure.
Starting point is 00:27:11 And here's another surprising fact that Sunday gave Max its largest single-day audience to date. According to Warner Brothers Discovery, it broke streaming records in Latin America as the largest launch for Max in the region. And it was the biggest season to launch ever for Warner Brothers Discovery in Europe. There is one million. That's how many people watched the first season of House of the Dragon in the days before season two premiere. according to Wonder Brothers Discovery. House of the Dragon is based on George R.R.R. Martin's books, yada, yada, yada. A third season, HBO announced it had renewed House of the Dragon for a third season days before the season two premiere.
Starting point is 00:27:48 There is nothing to fear here. Nothing to fear at all. At all. This is a two million drop. Isn't that a bad news? That's bad news, right? That's a big, it's a number, but still look at, and the other fair and unfair thing at the same time as well, it had bigger numbers overall than Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Well, nobody knew what Game of Thrones was. And the reason the House of the Dragon does as well as it does is, because everybody knows what Game of Thrones is. But I think that the same thing, I think that the numbers are going to start boosting back up again. And I also think there's a lot of stuff on television right now. There's a lot of things to watch right now. There's a lot of things. There's a lot of entertainment in general to watch. I think the numbers will continue to go up.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I really do. The show is just too damn good. It's, it really is. It's just too good. 20-something drop. You know, of course, you don't love that number if you're HBO, but it's still, it's still a good number. And it still did pretty damn good.
Starting point is 00:28:54 And the show was fantastic. It's such a good show. I love that show so much. My favorite show, I think, overall on TV, although yeah man dark matter's awesome but it's it's i can't i can't compare that too i just house of the dragon to me was just so good it was i loved and or as much as i did and i still put house to the dragon over it just i'm just so locked in so locked in anyway so i'm going to get to one more story here and if there are any i mean i don't think there are a lot of questions today oh
Starting point is 00:29:26 all right three questions today whatevs so we'll do um so here's what we'll do um so here's what we'll do I will do one more story. If you have questions, you want to throw them in. Throw them in. If not, as Longshank says, just as good. But let's get to this last story. And here is the story. Where is it?
Starting point is 00:29:50 No, it's not this guy again. We already saw him. Did that one. Okay, this one. So we've been talking about Peacemaker, and we've been talking about the DCU. in general, right? And the question is, is Peacemaker part of the DCU? Like, is it not? Is it multiverse stuff? Is it going to be a standalone adventure? What the hell is it? Well, Jennifer Holland
Starting point is 00:30:13 confirms that she is part of the DCU with season two behind the scenes photo. Jennifer Holland confirmed she's returning for Peacemaker season two, making her the latest DCEU star to make the lead to the new DCU. And we may also have a new logo for the show. Jennifer Holland has hinted at her planned DCU debut in a few social media posts. The actress and wife of James Gunn has now confirmed she's begun working on Peacemaker's Season 2. Holland made her DC EU debut as Amelia Harcourt in the Suicide Squad and later reprised the role in Peacemaker Black Adam and Shazam Fury of the Gods. She quickly became a fan favorite stealing the show alongside John Sina in his anti-hero spin-off TV series. This makes Holland only a handful of DCEU actors to make the lead from the world to DCU.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Other team peacemaker members are expected to join her. They include Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, and Steve Agee. So far, several actors have gone previously worked with, and Blue Beetle star Sholo Medveduena are the only ones not to be axed for the DC Studios reboot. We're pretty sure there's a new peacemaker logo that was shared by Holland in the Instagram post. I was excited to explore her in every way, the actress says. James had a hard time fitting the stories he wanted to for the Suicide Squad with the main cast because of how big the cast was. So there was a blank page to go with hardcore.
Starting point is 00:31:39 The things about her that I love so much make her incredibly complicated and flawed. She's well-rounded version of this tough girl character that you might see in a lot of projects. James wrote a fleshed out woman who's strong, tough, and cold and has all kind of issues that she's working through. In addition to that, I can't even tell you how excited it was to do all the physicality of the role. I've always dreamt of getting to play a character that I would need to meld the physicality. Sure. And the athleticism of myself with the acting that I love. And this role gave me the opportunity to do that.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Peacemaker Season 2 will also star Frank Grillo, Sasha Bordeaux, Tim Meadows, and David Denman in a mysterious role. There's no word on the premiere date, but production has been going on for a while now with gun directing episodes. So here is, there's two posts here. I'll give this to you guys, give you the actual picture itself as I make this here. There's both her name on the chair, and then there is the actual peacemaker logo.
Starting point is 00:32:36 I'll show you that in a moment. Here it is right there. Let's turn that down. Stop that. Thank you. You're welcome. And there it is. Jennifer Holland,
Starting point is 00:32:44 peacemaker. That's all she wrote. I like her. I like her a lot. I do think she's great. I also think it's a no, duh, that she's going to be in the DCU. Honey, I'm going out to work.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Well, you have the opportunity to make me go to work with you, and why aren't I working with you? Because you were in the last DCU, I'm not doing that anymore. Okay, well, enjoy the couch. But they liked me. I was good in the show. I did a lot.
Starting point is 00:33:21 You wrote a good character. Put me in it. Do something. and figure it out. But I have to figure it out. Okay. She's really good. It's like Kit. She's really, really good. And I, and but she's going to fairly and unfairly get the call. Of course, she's getting it. Your wife. I get it. But she's really good. And I'm glad that, you know, I don't know how they're going to work the peacemaker angle into the DCU. They'll figure it out. But I'm excited for that show. I really like that show a lot. It was hilarious.
Starting point is 00:33:50 John Cena did his best work in that show that Freddie Stroma, crushed it. If you haven't watched the interview I did with Freddie Stroma on this channel, please do. Because he's great. I'd like to get him back on the show. I really like that guy. Thought he was hilarious. The whole show is really, really good. But we'll see what happens. What do you guys think, though? Do you think that they should be in the DCU? Or you think, nah, leave them. Everybody else got tossed out. They should get tossed out as well. Put your comments in here. Tell me what you think. All right. Let's move on. There's a few more questions that came in. we'll ask the questions.
Starting point is 00:34:24 I'll be here until the questions are gone. So if you want to ask another one, cool. If not, we call it a day today. And we do a short show, which is fine. You guys like that too. But the other thing is, I've told you, do you guys see, I don't know if you watch the show, did you, if you saw the ring that I was telling you guys about gentle bands
Starting point is 00:34:50 and then, of course, Joy Mode. Let's do that quick. And then we'll get into the questions. All right, guys, before I move on, I want to tell you guys about gentle bands. Check that out. You see that ring right there? That is gentle bands. And so this company reached out to me a little while ago, and they said, hey, we think that you and your audience would be perfect for us.
Starting point is 00:35:12 I said, yeah, why do you think that? And then I started to take a look. And so what's so special about them is it's what gentle bands does. They kind of reimagine the genre of science fiction and fantasy. And they also, they really, really pay attention to detail. In this particular ring, it's Tungsten and Opal, and you can see a little bit right here. And it has like that balance of the dark side and the light. It reminds me of like Star Wars meets Lord of the Rings.
Starting point is 00:35:38 So Tungsten is very dense, sturdy, and Opal is like the highlight. It represents personality style, all that stuff. And their package, the stuff that comes with is really great. They also offer engraving services at the moment. That's pretty great. They draw inspiration from classic science fiction films and games, and their team has developed this galactic collection, and it captures the essence of the enchanting universe
Starting point is 00:36:01 and the eternal battles between dark and light. So once again, when you're taking a look, look at this website in general, and just some of the things that they have there, and as I show you a few of the pictures here, I thought those were pretty interesting on how they actually kind of crafted this whole thing. Now, if you want to go and get one of them, you go to gentlebands.com, and you can use my code, KH channel, and you get 25% off. It's pretty amazing.
Starting point is 00:36:27 You get 25% all, but you've got to use that code, KH channel. It's around. I really love it, and it's got, yeah, it just, I'm not going to lie to you. It does, I would, I have said my precious a couple times, but here it is. Check it out. Gentle Bands, links in the description. Thanks, guys. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:45 You know as well as I do. You've been standing at that gas station, you look over and you go, oh, sexual pills. I'm going to try one of those. Don't do it. They are not good over there, not healthy. But Joy Mode is. What is Joy Mode? When you go to the gym and you take something to help you with your workout, it's the same thing with JoyMut.
Starting point is 00:37:02 It's a sexual enhancement performer, man. It's amazing, and it works. The issue is that that over-the-counter pill, it contains unregulated chemicals. It suggests unsafe doses, and it includes the risk of several other health problems. That is why we are partnered with our friends over at Joy Mode. I tried it. And man, oh man, it just makes you feel good. It's that extra pep.
Starting point is 00:37:24 It's not necessarily a step, but you get what I'm talking about. Whether you're looking to spice up your intimate moments or increase your confidence in the bedroom, Joy Mode makes all-natural and science-backed supplements dedicated to helping men perform better across their core functions. Their trademark product, the sexual performance booster, it's every man's solution for increased blood flow, firmness, stamina, and performance.

That's 20% off and free shipping with the code, big thing, at usejoymode.com. Ingredients with integrity. Joy mode. Thank you to our friends over at Gentlebands and, of course, Joy Mode. Very excited to have them both on the show. And as I mentioned,
Starting point is 00:38:21 a million times over and just beforehand, if you can, you want to support the show. There you go. Okay, let's get to your questions. And as I told you before, I will be here till the very end. So if you have a lot of questions, if there's anything you've ever wanted to ask me, it's an intimate crew here today, guys. Yesterday we had around 1,600 people. Today, we got about 350. What ebbs? It's one of those days. It's an impromptu show. I don't do live shows on Tuesday. So it's just me and you guys. So ask me whatever the F you want. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:38:53 Shelby. Hello, Shelby. If you think it would work, I'd love to hear your thoughts on dark matter. Spoilers after the finale. The show has me, had me on the edge of my seat. Shelby, did you watch the, I guess tonight they will show the, I guess, I guess is what happened last week. My wife and I were looking for the, for the episode and we found it on, it's like Tuesday night.
Starting point is 00:39:12 It popped in there. I don't know if that all happened tonight. I don't know if it was because I was on West Coast time at the, the time but I will maybe I'll maybe I'll try it shelving because I really want to talk about it in general so maybe I will and at people but I I feel that if I do a spoiler review though less people because I don't think as many people are watching it you know I think it's I think it should be maybe a non-spoiler because if I do a spoiler review I don't know maybe I start with non-spoiler and then tell people in the middle of it that I'll do a spoiler at the end we'll see um
Starting point is 00:39:47 But it's fantastic. It's fantastic. I can't wait to see how it ends. I'm at the very end of it. You know, I'm also rewatching Arcane. It's another one if you haven't seen because season two is coming out at the end of this year. I'm watching it at my 12th row. We're going to finish it up tonight.
Starting point is 00:39:59 We're going to finish the last episode. And it's so good. It's as good. I don't know. And maybe somebody can tell me this in the in the comments. Was there ever talk of doing a live action? I know that it was based off of League of Legends. And then that turned into like just a wall.
Starting point is 00:40:17 well-written animated show. But the show that they did, they could make this show a live action series also. And I'd love to see it. There's so many great characters and so much emotion in it. It would be great science fiction. Really would.
Starting point is 00:40:35 But yes, as far as Dark Matter goes, Shelby, I think I will do a non-spoiler of the whole season once it's over. So it'll probably be soon for the next couple of days because I'll watch the finale to either, today or tomorrow whenever i have an opportunity to do it all right next one coolly hi bro how's the move going and do you miss l a i mean look i miss i mean it was roxy already reached out to me and she um she was already talking about how she missed me and and i was it was very nice and i told her i missed her
Starting point is 00:41:09 and my my pals of course i miss my pals of course of course but um I was talking about it yesterday. It's like, I'm going to be honest with you guys. I was walking around this morning with my dog outside. And I had this breeze. And it's also fairly hot here, but it had this breeze. And it was so peaceful. And my neighbors are really nice.
Starting point is 00:41:36 Food here is really good. I was like, yeah, I made the right call. Kids are super happy. Just, it's the right call. And the other thing is that I was talking, I mean, talk to Roka. I'm going to see Mike and Steph tomorrow. The show with Roka yesterday did very well. And I think people really enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I'm going to do all my theater reactions, I'm going to do all my TV reactions. Nothing's going to change here. Studio looks better than the old one to be completely honest with you. Camera's better. I mean, I could have done that at the old studio too, but I don't have squirrels coming in my freaking place. I don't have, I don't have birds, lawnmower people. It's like a professional building out here.
Starting point is 00:42:24 It's like a nice spot. And this isn't, and we're only at 50% right now. We're only a 50% of what this is. Brett's coming back. He's going to help build out the studio even more. So that's it. So I'm pretty, I'm pretty, I'm pretty psyched about, about it. All right. So I see there's a few more, there's a few more questions coming in now. So I mean, look, I'll be, this is like I always, what I always say. I'm always grateful when people even want to ask anything. So the fact that they do, you're like, well, shoot, what if I, what do I put it in? You've already been here for like an hour. This is, this is on you guys. Whatever you want me to be, I'll be here. Mike Joyce, thoughts on the Chucky series. I just recently watched all the movies and the TV series and I love it. It might be my favorite horror franchise.
Starting point is 00:43:14 So I hear nothing but great things about it. I have that doll. Wait a minute. I just realized something. That doll, where the hell did that doll make it? Should have. The doll was in the car.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Is it still in the car? I don't know what happened. But I did like it a lot. The movie, in the freaking doll itself. But the show I haven't seen yet, but I hear great things, great things.
Starting point is 00:43:38 So I've seen clips. I saw when Chuckie killed Liv Morgan, which was hilarious. when she talked about that. All right. So there's a lot of other comments coming in right now. I see that. I think 15 so far.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Okay. Went from 3 to 15. Thank you guys. So this is mirror domains. Are muggy heat waves worse than L.A. or New York? Well, I'll tell you, like I said this morning, it was fairly hot here when I was walking. I went to get myself some lunch when I was going.
Starting point is 00:44:10 I've been busy, really busy both yesterday and today, because I'm playing catch up on stuff. But I took a walk to get some lunch. And when I did, it was hot, but there was this breeze that you don't get in L.A. It's like dry heat. But when it's humid here, it's really humid and you feel it.
Starting point is 00:44:29 So we'll see, let me get back to you on it. Let me get back to you on it. Because I'm also in the honeymoon phase right now, being back and all that. So not fair. Victor Juretti. Gertie. Geri.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Gerty. Sad mayor or Kingston. I think you mean, and I understood it now. I'm sad that mayor of Kingston is getting lost. It's great. I hear great things about that show also, but yeah, it's not getting a lot of buzz, but people do like that show, those who are watching it, for sure.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Tom Hardy, saying Man Max is less likely. Thoughts, again, from your demands. Yeah, I mean, I think it was a mistake to do Furioso without Charlie Sterron and no Mad Max as the next one. If they would have done another Mad Max movie, I think you would have done better. So I'm not surprised because also from George Miller, I'm like, you know what? I don't know if I want to finish out my career doing Mad Max. I want to do something else.
Starting point is 00:45:35 I want to do a few more things. I got an opportunity. People like no one is saying that George Miller is not a great director. That movie was directed wonderfully. I really like that film. It's really good. But it just didn't do well. And that's, there's no one that sees that and goes,
Starting point is 00:45:49 oh, George Miller doesn't have it anymore. Of course he does. So maybe he wants to do other things. And the studio is just not going to invest in a Mad Max movie right now. Not for, and not unless you can do it for like 50, 60 million bucks. Good luck on that. Random Pat.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Have you seen the sets they are making in Cleveland for James Guns Superman? Looking like they're going for a more retro vibe. a la the Donner films. You're going to win me over like that, if that's the case. You're going to win me over like that. If you go more old school filmmaking, and that's what this movie looks like, and it doesn't look like Flash or anything along those lines.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Nothing against the Flash. But you know what I'm saying? Like, I want to see something like that. So if that's the case, I've not seen the sets, but that's happy news, random Pat. Alan Smithy, Yo, Christian, what's up, Al? Tell us why Happy Harry,
Starting point is 00:46:42 hard on is one of your inspirations in life i love pump up the vine that movie rules trying to get i just had a um patreon call we do if if you haven't joined patreon and you want to please do we had um i have a thing that i do where i offer half an hour sessions where i basically do this with video with people who joined monthly and um i was talking to one of the guys guy darian is a really good guy and he's doing a bunch of stuff on his channel and we were talking and told him the story essentially about and well he and he brought up the idea too about trying to get christian slater on the show and i should um so when i was a kid one of my movies that i just fell in love with was pump up the volume with christian slater and for those people who don't know the movie it's essentially this kid who moves i think he moves from new york to i feel
Starting point is 00:47:33 like i thought it was texas but it might be arizona might be arizona and he goes to this school and his dad's a teacher and he basically at night he's an introvert and at night he does a pirate radio station there's no podcasting back then there's a pirate radio station he finds a way to you know he kind of hijacks the airwaves puts on this show and essentially talks about um the high school and he causes this kind of rebellion throughout the school and he becomes like this like this figure that people look up to and all and he just is and his voice comes out is him and Samantha Mathis who eventually discovers that it's him and has this whole, they have the, you know, it's like this inspirational thing. He's got Lenny Bruce on the back.
Starting point is 00:48:18 And it was, it was him and Howard Stern. Those are the two that really got me into the idea of wanting to do this, the idea of being able. And that's one of the reasons why I remember the first time I did like just me by myself talking on the microphone like this was that for a long period of time was during the far, far away Star Wars show that I did, but way before Jedi Council. I walked into Geek Nation one day, and I don't think Tiffany Smith was available. So I said, I'm going to do it myself. And I was like, okay, can I, can I hold it for an hour and do it and find things to be interested to talk about and the audience wanting to listen? And I found that there's a way to do it. And it's what this character was doing.
Starting point is 00:49:08 It's just you just talk, be yourself. You know, you have, you try to throw some entertainment on it. And so his performance in that movie and that character has always inspired me. So when my wife and I were coming up with some of the days, and I asked you guys too about some of the things that I should put on the wall behind me. And a lot of these were things that I was thinking of and a lot of them that you put out there that should be on the wall. And where people are like, oh, you don't have any Star Wars?
Starting point is 00:49:35 No. And I said I was going to put that on it. eternal sunshine in the spotless mind right there. I got Rocky. Can't see macho man. He's over there too. George Carlin, Robin Williams. And of course, I wanted to make sure that
Starting point is 00:49:49 Happy Harry was the was front and, well, not front and center, but you get a good shot of him right there. So that's the story. Mike Joyce. Snyder just reported Spaceball's 2 is coming. Yes. It's amazing. Should we try to call him?
Starting point is 00:50:05 Let's try to call him. Hey, Siri, call Jeff Snyder. Now, let's try it. I'm going to try to do it. Hey, Siri, call Jeff Snyder. Call in Jeff Snyder mobile. Let's see if we get him. I think we'll get him.
Starting point is 00:50:19 What do you guys think? He's going to pick up. We'll find out. Hello. You are on the air, sir. Oh, okay. All right, first of all, congratulations on your Celtics. Thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Yeah, what a night. Yeah, I'm sure it was. That was fun. So I just got a super chat that said, Jeff Snyder just reported that space balls two. is coming. Is this true? It is. Yes. The film is officially in development at
Starting point is 00:50:45 Amazon NGM Studios from Barb and Star Director Josh Greenbaum. And Josh Gadd is going to star in the film as well as produce alongside Mel Brooks and co-wrote the script with the Detective Pikachu guys. Rick
Starting point is 00:51:01 Moranis? No word on Rick Moranus yet. I have no idea. You can't do that movie. You can't do that movie without Rick Moranis? I had heard that he had pitched a Spaceballs movie. It was called Spaceballs 3, The Search for Spaceballs 2. Perfect. But he's got to be. You can't do that movie. You can't do that movie without him. You can't. And Bill Pullman? And we're on Bill Pullman?
Starting point is 00:51:31 No. I have no idea on the rest of the cast. And I don't know if like, you know, is Josh Gad going to take over the role of barf that Josh, that John can't? played it is he going to play another right member of that species or something i have no idea how it's going to work all right but that's but this is but this is confirmed definitely happening uh it is in development yes i mean josh gandazolls he's attached to a bunch of projects and don't forget he's supposed to direct that um that chris farley movie yes that's right makes sense paul walter hauser attached so but it's like you know andy circus is directing a new lord of the rings movie and he's probably going to pop up in the Batman, right?
Starting point is 00:52:10 Or something? Yeah. The Batman sequel. So it's like, these guys have figured out how to balance directing one thing and acting and another. All right. Well, that's a great scoop, man. Anything else going on?
Starting point is 00:52:21 What's cooking? Anything big coming soon? I got my eye on a few stories here and there. But, you know, I think it might be another week or two. All right. How do they, now, if they want to go, they go to your newsletter. What do they do? Yes, please.
Starting point is 00:52:36 everybody the insnyder.com www www. the insnyder t h h n s n eidr.com and if you guys need a discount if you want like an annual thing but you can't quite afford a hundred bucks a year hit me up on dm and i'll the christian harlop special you know you know what i will do i'll you and i should talk maybe maybe what we'll do is if you if you guarantee me i look we're making deals here on the on the air folks if you come like you give me one big scoop like you know like a big one, then I'll give you a couple of weeks of promotion where we use a code and people will come in and then they can sign up to your newsletter. I'll make you that deal. I don't really know how to do all the code stuff. I wish like B-Hive the plat because it's not sub-sag. It's beehive. So it's maybe a little bit limited in terms of what I can do in that stuff. But we can always figure it out. I like to operate one-on-one. Exactly. All right. Well, good. You're the best in the business. Thank you for having me on, no, Christian. You're the best. Thanks, Jeff Snyder. Confirm. That's cool, man. Space. Well, thanks Mike for telling me that, get him, Jeff on the show. And look at that. And I left and there's 15 questions and now there's 21. So you guys are coming in firing as I'm putting in the work here. And I want to make sure they get some more stuff for you guys. Okay. So Space Paul's too. That's amazing. I love that. And look at that. You got to Gad and which he's perfect for whether he's going to be what species. You got to get Pullman would be great. Even in a cameo. But you got to get Rick Moran.
Starting point is 00:54:06 back you can't do a space balls without Rick Moran. He just can't. Okay. Fabricio wrote us, Hey, Harloff, just wanted to say, I've been watching since the AMC days, I appreciate the work you do. Any chance we see a series review of Dark Matter.
Starting point is 00:54:20 I read the book and I say the TV show is a little better so far. I love that. Well, you're the second person that's asked in the super chat thus far, Fabricio, so I guess the answer is yes, I will be doing a non-spoiler review of the whole season. And I'm looking forward to doing that. I don't think I'm going to do full spoilers, though. But interesting that you said, it's very rare that you hear that the show or movie is better than the book.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Thank you for telling me that. And thank you for the generous super chat, my friend. I really, really appreciate that. Victor Garrity, the MI8 budget is insanity. They're killing the series. What's it like 400 million or something? Is that the rumor? What are they doing?
Starting point is 00:54:59 What are they doing? Who knows if that's honest or not honest, but, who knows? Oh man, but you're not wrong. If they're spending that much money, then they deserve what they get. They really do. And I love those,
Starting point is 00:55:13 and I love those movies, but you deserve what you get. It's like you make $700 million and you lose money. It's stupid. Mirror demand. Street Fighter live action loses director. Bummer. Gonna be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Didn't even know there was a live action street fighter happening, so it's not as much of a bummer for me. Didn't even know what was happening. Okay. So, here's the next one. Mr. Seymour Duck. No questions. Just keep up the great work. Thank you, sir. That's very kind of you. And if, by the way, like I said to you guys, you got me here. There's anything you wanted to ask me ever. Now's the time. Okay. So Victor Garney, now the Joy Mode is back. Here's an endorsement.
Starting point is 00:55:51 Tried for almost a year for kids and nothing. It was a bit stressful. So I tried Joy Mode with your promo last time. You had it. And boom, wife for trial. Is that true? Is that true? That's fantastic. Look at that. I'm going to send this to Joy Mode. I am sending this to Joy Mode. That's fantastic news. And congratulations. Victor, is that true? That's amazing. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:56:16 And they are back. And I am sending this. I'm going to clip this out and I'm sending this to Joy Mode. Because Joy Mode does not fuck around. I guess they do. I guess they do. But this is good news. Very happy to hear that.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Congratulations. that's really good news, man. Okay, let's see. And Victor follows it up and trying to convince the wife to get a pug. Help me out. Give me a pug pitch. Okay. Here's the thing with pugs.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Most lovable little bastards you're ever going to get. Now, I've had two. I've had two pugs. My first one, Taz, if you guys are old school schmose fans and you know Tazzy. Tazzy had a toad, but he was great. He was loyal. He was, you know, he was, he was a, he was a, he was a,
Starting point is 00:57:04 They love to eat those little bastards. And he was, and he was, sometimes he's really chilly. He would sit down, like prop himself up and sit on a thing. And he was, he was the best, a little pig. But he had a little bit of attitude. And we get pissed off sometimes. My new, the dude is very chill. And they're both, I mean, I don't know if Tassie would have been good with kids.
Starting point is 00:57:28 I have no idea. I think he would have been good with people. But the dude is very chill. He's an asshole on the. the walks though when I take him on walks and it's not like he's he just barks a lot at the at you know whoever it is and then I let him go if I let him go to the people he sniffs them he's the most harmless dog you're ever going to meet and he's such a like he and he's he's really gorgeous but they're just they're they're they're lovable little fluffs and they're they're they're really they become
Starting point is 00:57:57 they're like crackheads with food it's true so I don't know that was a good endorsement at all probably the worst endorsement you could probably get, but there you go. Scotty doesn't know. Scotty doesn't know. Do you see a scenario where movies like Deadpool and Blade release are R-rated and PG-13 rated cut at the same time in theaters for people who aren't comfortable taking their kids to hard R-rated movies? It's tough. I mean, they did it. I know that they did it for Deadpool, like afterwards.
Starting point is 00:58:31 they did that PG-13 cut later on. I think you're going to be, it's more, you're more inclined to see that happen because I think at that point, Deadpool had made seven, $800 million. So at that point, you're like,
Starting point is 00:58:46 okay, look, the $800 million dollars that we just made in this movie on budgets that were, I don't even think there were, I think the first one was like $40 million, and the second one was like $60 million or $100 million. I can't remember what it was.
Starting point is 00:58:58 But either way, there were low budgets. So you take, some of that profit and say, all right, let's put some money into that marketing. Let's make a cut. Let's pay some of the editors. Get a PG-13 cut. Let's put it out.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Yes, this movie's going to make money, but you have to see it. Putting it out at the same time, it might be a little too dicey, too pricey. But I understand, but it just, I think that's how it's going to work. Mirror domains. Did you guys watch the inside? Did you watch the inside out post-credit scene? I did, and I liked it. I really, really, really loved it.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Really loved that movie a lot. Haskell, or RTU Snyder breaking news. Is that outside, not outside of the space balls one. I got to call them back again. Let's see. Besides AG1, rock and movies with Tyler. So besides AG1 and Magic Spoon, what else would you recommend for someone to lower high cholesterol? I have that. So as far as recommending the food wise, I mean, look, right now, If you go to Downer Earth, we have, I have Hello Fresh. And Hello Fresh is something I definitely recommend. And there's a code for that. If you go to the Down Earth, Christian Harlow channel on the latest video, even if you don't watch the UAP, you just go for the code itself. But Hello Fresh, they send really good stuff where it's chicken, it's fish. They have really good meals that I love.
Starting point is 01:00:31 and you should head on over there and get in like that if you i think it's something i can't i think that if you sign up now with the code that i have i think it's d teapts double check that hello fresh at d te apps go look at the code itself but you get for this code for as long as you have a subscription you get free appetizers for like life um and those appetizers are healthy and like you can you can make chicken bowls fish bowls like all these different things So that would be my recommendation right now, the thing that I definitely have. But there's tons of them that we've had some pretty good,
Starting point is 01:01:08 healthy options. Okay. Johnny, we'll be reviewing covering the boys season four. I will be. And I would have already done one through three had it not been for the move. I just, I ran out of time.
Starting point is 01:01:21 I was going to watch episode one of the boys, and I was going to have House of the Dragon reaction. I ran out of time. I just, I mean, Winston and Coy came over. on Thursday. I left on Friday. I left on Friday morning. Winston and Coy came over on Thursday morning. We shot the last episode in the old studio together. And then I gave Coy a bunch of lights. I gave Winston a bunch of stuff. And then those and then those guys helped me break down the entire studio.
Starting point is 01:01:53 We dumped a whole bunch of shit on my lawn. And from what I heard, it's all gone now. This is the thing that broke my heart. I had a custom made desk that I just, it was. It was. would have cost me more money to ship that thing than it did to make the damn thing. But it was a custom made thing by John Deresta. And I had to put it on the damn street because nobody bought it on Facebook. Try. And it was someone got a really good deal driving by. Look at this.
Starting point is 01:02:19 But as far as season four goes, yes, I will be, it will be reviewing that. Haskell, do you have the Schnep poster? I don't. I think, look, there was tons of stuff at Collider Live that was sent to me and made for me that other people took that Braveheart sword. I think McCougu took it or somebody else took it was sent to me and someone took the Braveheart sword. But Schnep, I do not have that poster. And I think the person who who made the poster had reached out at one point, I'd like to get another copy of it. But I do not have that poster. It wasn't, it just someone else took it. I'm not sure who has. But that would be great
Starting point is 01:02:55 to put up there also. I'd love to. That old school one from the Clyder Live one, I think is the one you're talking about, right? A few more questions here, and we'll be here until there's, until we're all done. Unheard Sirens Incorporated. Spaceballs 2 is going to be amazing. So much material to draw from baby yogurt, anyone, of course. You can get so, there's so much stuff that you can do now. Mandalorian, like, there's so much stuff that you can do with Spaceball.
Starting point is 01:03:19 I mean, the first one was made in 86. I don't even, they didn't even do, they even have, yeah, they didn't have the prequels. And they have any of that stuff. So yeah. stellar Justin Lopez. Did you see the ending to Raw last night with the Wyatt 6th. It looked like a highly produced horror film. No, yet another thing because right now in my living room,
Starting point is 01:03:40 I'm watching things through a projector that my brother bought me. It's great. It's a great projector. But I'm watching things through a projector. And I watched Arcane through a projector last night. I did not watch. I haven't watched Ron a little bit. But all my stuff hopefully will be set up really soon that I can start getting back to my normal
Starting point is 01:03:57 routines, but not yet. Not yet. All right, here's another one. Simon's section. Simon always, always coming in. Christian, you activated my iPad when you called Siri. It's so funny. I guess you do have superpowers of talking to people to do the right thing and it's not mind control. See, there you go. Go Spaceball 2. That's what I'm saying. I'm never going to let that up with Roxy about that that silly argument that she makes about how that's mind control. It's not. Mike Joyce, have your kids experience ice snow cold cold yeah but i mean because it it got i mean not to the cold of this when it gets when it gets real cold but um you know it's still 35 40 degrees is still pretty cold and it hit hit that a couple times in l a and it's strange enough you don't think that but snow my little ones have not
Starting point is 01:04:43 well my daughter my oldest was one last time she was in new york and we were in snow she she doesn't remember the little one has never experienced snow so they're very excited about it um um Joe Bits, great name. Hey, you listen, you got Joey Bits coming over? Yeah, he's bringing over to pie. Joey Bits. Good afternoon, Christian. By any chance, do you have the latest Deadpool Marvel Legends action finger?
Starting point is 01:05:06 I don't. Just came out. Keep up the great works. Thank you, Joey. I don't have that. And I do, and I don't even have a lot of my gentle giant stuff. Some of the stuff I had to give away. Some of the stuff is coming on a truck.
Starting point is 01:05:20 I will be doing, I will be doing a little bit more of a setup. And I'm going to give a tour of it once it's done because there's some stuff. This is the majority of what you guys are going to see. And then I'm going to do a wide shot and we'll have it over here. And I'm going to decorate this corner of it too. Right now, it's fairly plain. But there's another room over there, which is going to be, there's going to be a lot of great stuff. It's going to be a lot of great stuff over there.
Starting point is 01:05:43 There's going to be some of the old school arcade games. I'm going to put the Sopranos poster up there. We're going to really do that, that room out. And I'm going to give you guys a full on tour. And I think when Sarah starts doing his videos, he'll be doing VR in that room. So a lot of fun questions here, guys. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:06:00 I really appreciate that. There's some really good ones. Ryan Fordham, I love your channel. Thanks, man. I watch every day from Perth, Western Australia. Amazing. You have the perfect mystery of unbiased reviews and negative views. I mean, that's what we tried.
Starting point is 01:06:14 I liked yesterday's reaction because there's only so much you can look, no matter what you do, no matter what you do, you're always going to do something and people are going to either call you. I mean, look, I did a full on thing yesterday on how I think overall, there's some things that are fine, but overall is just not a good show. And I still got people calling me a shill. And then within the next five or 10 minutes later, I had somebody telling me how much of a hater I was.
Starting point is 01:06:44 And this is, you can't let that stuff bothering. You just can't because it's just the nature of the business. It is. People have agendas. And then as we talked about it on the, the show yesterday. There's two, you can't listen to Idiot Side Number One and Idiot Side Number Two. You just can't. You got to listen to the people here. People like yourself who say these, like, let's just have a conversation. And it's like you can, you are, you are in the right to love it.
Starting point is 01:07:10 You're in the right to hate it. But you're not in the right to tell anybody else that they should have your point of view. You can discuss your point of view, but they're not in your right. You're not in the right to tell them. You should feel the same way. I do but we'll see um ccccp big fan of your UFO channel down earth thank you keep up the good work cheers from Ireland all right p.s looking forward to space balls too i love the international viewers as well man you guys are the fact that Australia and Ireland within within two apart it's very kind of you and i assume that you found it from uh found me this channel from the UFO thing. So thank you. Yeah, we got Riley and I put our show up today. I think today
Starting point is 01:07:59 I'm going to put up one more video. I'm probably going to cover the Spielberg thing separately. And I'll put that on the UAP channel. But I'm a fan of that channel also. I like talking about it. And I think that it is the smart move to separate it. And it gives us more time to do. I like these little intimate shows that we're doing here. Like it's like a lot of the hardcore fans will come in here and and we'll talk. And this is why I want to have that opportunity. And I think that until I get someone else in here and I do these live streams on Tuesdays, I think I'm going to limit the amount of stories that I do. I think I did a half an hour of news stories. And then I give you guys an opportunity to talk about whatever the hell you want to talk about. You want to wrestling. You want to talk
Starting point is 01:08:39 about movies, TV, UFOs, whatever you want to talk about. This is your time. So this is what I appreciate. And I still, like I said, there's more comments coming in. Johnny Venner. likelihood that the acolyte gets a second season. The story may not be fully told, but I can't imagine Lucasfilm greenlighting and at this rate, cut your losses. See, here's why I don't agree with you. Because they made this push.
Starting point is 01:09:04 They made this push that it was the highest rated show and however long and however big it did. And the very well might be true. But to me, it seems like they don't learn from the mistakes of, and this is what I said yesterday. And someone totally misread what I was saying. When you say, yeah, I said that I think that when you're, just to reiterate, I don't want to sound like a broken record, but when you're making $180 million show, you have to try to appease the entire fan base. And you have to try to make things that everyone is going to like, even if you don't necessarily like certain parts of your fan base, it's your fan base.
Starting point is 01:09:44 And you have, and if you're going to do $30, $40 million, it doesn't matter. You can make whatever you want to make. And if it doesn't do as well as it would, if it does decent, they made it for $30, $40 million. And that's it. And someone said, oh, you're saying that they can only do stuff that's going to cater to the people that the bigots? No, it's not what I said. There are people who aren't the bigots that are not liking this show and feel like it. Like there are people, by the way, who have different points of view politically, religiously,
Starting point is 01:10:16 that aren't hateful and that aren't bigots that just have a different point of view. And those people might look at things and say, I don't necessarily know if, and not this particular show, but this piece of media is for me. This piece of media is for me. And there are times that when you're casting out $180 million show, that you have to be wary,
Starting point is 01:10:38 if you want to deliver on it, you have to aim towards everyone. That's all I'm saying. And I don't necessarily know that that's not the, the thing I mean for this particular show. But you just have to be wary on what you're making when you're doing budgets for as big as you're making them. All right. So the next one is, is that it?
Starting point is 01:11:03 Maybe that's it. No, that's not it. Speaking bowls, idea, big balls. there's Joseph Astor who does all of the the Big Balls animation, by the way. So what did Big Balls do for Roxy's birthday? I don't think that Big Balls is going to be able to do anything for birthday because Roxy hates his guts.
Starting point is 01:11:27 It hates his guts. Okay, I think there is one more. Is that it? Yes, it is. This is the last one. This is something else that anybody else wants to talk about. Page, Chowdry. Hello, Paige.
Starting point is 01:11:39 How are you? Hey, Christian, how are you doing? Do you still have an Amazon list? I do. It is the New York Amazon list. I believe it might be in the link of this description. It might be. It might be the first thing.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Also, what do you think about Sony buying Alamo draft house? I think all studios should buy movie theaters for the long game. Because I think eventually the chains like Regal and AMC, I don't think they are, I think they're going to go the way the dinosaur. I really do. Not the theaters themselves, but the theater companies. And I think studios are going to be the ones in the way that you go to theme parks and all that stuff.
Starting point is 01:12:21 And you do something where you go, hey, let's, it's a Disney, we're going to the Disney theater and at the Disney theater are playing old movies, something that came out last year. If you go to a Disney movie theater, you can go see Mary Poppins from 1950, whatever it was or 60, whatever it was. You can go see The Lion King from 1994. You can go see Inside Out too. Also, you can see Star Wars at that Disney theater.
Starting point is 01:12:49 If you wanted to, you can go to the Disney theater in the same way that you can do that. Universal buys the theater. Sony buys the Al-a-Ns. You can watch all these movies if you wanted to do it. Here's the new releases from Sony that you can see for X amount of dollars. Plus, if you want to, you can have a discount. You can go see this in the theater. So I think that's what's going to happen down the way.
Starting point is 01:13:12 So the page, thank you. And butt funnel, not only is but funnel come in here, but funnel comes in with a banger of a super chat. Thank you so much. You are very generous, super generous. And you don't even ask a question. You always ask a question and just throw in that super chat. Thank you, sir.
Starting point is 01:13:34 And I thank all of you guys. very much so. Thank you for doing that. I don't think theaters are going away, Anthony. I said, like I said, and big budget movies won't go away if the studios are now getting the money that they have to give to the theaters. If they open it, they have their own theaters and they're making money through it, still selling tickets and all that and making money off some of their old movies. It might be the way that that happens eventually. That's it. So, Guys, we did it. I think we did. I want to make sure that I didn't miss any.
Starting point is 01:14:11 Sometimes I go, yeah, sometimes I just want to start. Yeah, I didn't miss anything. But very nice of all you guys that put in all this stuff today. I am grateful. So I also am going to, I'm not kidding you, that I'm going to send that thing to Joy Mode. That was amazing.
Starting point is 01:14:37 And congratulations. I hope you guys had a good time. I had a good time with you. Make sure that you comment. If you're watching on the replay, make sure you comment, Apple Podcast, Spotify, and remember this Friday, guys,
Starting point is 01:14:48 I'm going to be, if you're in the New York area or anywhere close and you want to come see me live, you want to see me and Dan Merle, we're going to be talking about movies. Let's get to 100 tickets sold. I think we can get there. We're almost there.
Starting point is 01:14:59 So I think we can do it. Someone's asking what time the show is tomorrow. I don't know yet. As far as when it's airing, it's not going to be live. the the live stream it's not a live stream with step and mike it's going to be a pre-tapped episode so the next live episode that we do again is going to be on monday with roca there is a possibility that i will make um capes and cows live i don't know yet i don't know but we'll see and thank
Starting point is 01:15:28 you but phone you're you're a good dude too they lose the hat in the move no i just figured my um One of the, I'm not going to, you know, I'm going to tell you the straight thing, the straight idea. This is it. This is the reason why. Because I said to Brett, I said, I think the days of the pop, the pop figures and the, and the toys in the background and all that stuff that I had for a while. I think that's, again, gone the way of the dinosaur. I think the hat, I'll wear the hat when I want to wear the hat and when my hair's getting ridiculous. but I was like, you know, I want to represent myself in a way, like I feel like everything back here is me.
Starting point is 01:16:10 When you guys, if you watch me long enough and you've been watching me long enough, wouldn't you say that this represents me? Right? Like these movies, those people back there that represents me and the things that I like and those types of things. And there's more and there's other things too. But the feel of it and I wanted to, yeah, I like this jacket too. You know where it's from? Mack Weldon. Anyway, so I wanted to change things up.
Starting point is 01:16:37 I wanted to change things up. And I wanted to be able to say, you know, like this is a new era. This is a new me. And I hope you guys can feel it. I hope you can feel it. That's it. So there you go. Ladies and gentlemen, it was absolutely wonderful to be with you here today.
Starting point is 01:16:57 And I'm glad. And I'm thank you so much for. being with us. Thank you to our sponsors today. Thank you to everybody who put in some, some of those chats, some people who were commenting. Remember again, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, do you like the fact that we're on Tuesdays now? And that's the other thing. Let me ask you that. See, this is what I love about the Tuesday stream. I think that I'm going away and I'm staying right here. Let me ask you guys in the chat. First of all, how are you feeling about the new studio? Secondly, what do you think about
Starting point is 01:17:31 the new era and all that stuff about what we're doing. And what do you think about what I just said as far as the representation back there on the wall? The fact of what I'm doing with this, what I'm doing as far as New York, what do you think? Oh, there's something else. Nerds engage. A small teaser tonight's acolyte. I didn't love it. It's my small tease.
Starting point is 01:17:56 I didn't love it. I'm waiting for that. So we're waiting to get that up there. I know there is a new era number six. It's true. There's changes. You got to pivot, man. Pivot!
Starting point is 01:18:06 You got to pivot. Got to pivot. So, yeah, I see, but I don't miss the toys. Bruce Lee might still make it. Bruce Lee might be over there. People love the Bruce Lee. That's different. I think I'm going to Bruce Lee.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Darth Vader's right there too. Darth Vader's right there. You're not going anywhere. That's what it is. Because it's not being, it's not hidden. on purpose. I can sit, I can look, some, how about this? Sometimes they'll sit like this. Is that good? I'll do that sometimes for you. When I'm talking to somebody, I'll go, hey, look at you. And then I'll go, hey, look at that. I'll go, whoa. But, but, you know, not only is that being
Starting point is 01:18:46 blocked out. It's my favorite movies of all time. That's being blocked out too. I know, I know. Everybody wants to see the Empire Strikes Back photo. Maybe we'll, we'll look around. We'll look around. We'll figure it out. So I think I don't think Christiana Roker crazy about it was far. We weren't. No, I don't think it's going to I think that episode four, it's not as it's not as horrendous as everyone maybe thinks it's going to it's just it's just like it to me it's just predictable and people and I think a lot of people have been saying this is that it's just got that CW view. I enjoy the Tuesday live stream also done. It's a little more free flowing. It's a little more of like, you know, I feel like I'm out of a coffee shop.
Starting point is 01:19:29 you guys and we're just like hanging around and saying what should we talk about everybody and that's it and i should have got off the air 10 minutes ago but i didn't you know why because i like you i like you i like talking he say hey what are you guys doing today i don't know listen to we're talking sounds good to me sounds good to everybody right wrong all right let's do it let's get out of here finally Thanks for joining me. I appreciate you. Do your poetry slams, do what you have to do. You see, you're not letting me go.
Starting point is 01:20:03 You try. And I'm just about to sign off, and I'm sure someone's going to do this again. And that's fine. I'm here for it. I'm here for this. Ah, it didn't work, you fuck. Eh, kind of worked.
Starting point is 01:20:14 Skeleton, I want to be taken seriously. I want to be taken seriously. No hat, no toys, farts in the armpits. That's what I'm talking about. Skeleton Strange New World's number one fan Is that the first Saturday Night Live Carlin? It is. It is indeed. Who's that?
Starting point is 01:20:30 What? Okay, follow me. My Carlin is the black shirt, 1990 jamming in New York, a good one, too. I also like the 1983, Carlin and Carnegie. Or is it 82? I can't remember. It's one of my favorites.
Starting point is 01:20:46 I think that's it. I think we did it. Let's see. I'm going to sign off. But I'm going to try to sign off. appreciate you guys being here today. This was fun. Now, I don't know what time we're going to do the Tuesday streams in general, but we'll do them again because I liked it. Thank you guys so much for being here. I love you. See you later. Stay safe. Okay. Bye everyone. Peace.
