Starting point is 00:00:00 Gary Oldman talking James Bond stuff. That's interesting. There's a rumor that Wonder Woman might be on the back burner now because Supergirl didn't do well. Odyssey is back on top for the global box office. Robert Pattinson talking Batman. A few other things that we got going on here today on the show. It's myself, Roxy Stryor, Mike Kalinowski.
Starting point is 00:00:28 It's the whole crew. Let's get to it, everybody. Here we go. Did you shit in there? Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the show. Joining me on the show, once again, every Tuesday is Roxy Stryor is here. Oh, I think that's Roxy. I think that's Roxy.
Starting point is 00:00:55 I hear I look sickly. Well, you just can't tell. And then we got Mike Kalanowski, Mike Kalinowski, there he is. And the crew is back for now and hopefully, Roxy. I can tell you how good I look. on my end. Oh, well,
Starting point is 00:01:12 at least you have that. I see what you're saying. Yeah, at least you got that. You might see what funny is when Mike came in, he looked like, Mike looks good now. And when,
Starting point is 00:01:18 when he came before, he, he did not. I'm going to send you guys a picture of how I look. Okay. So, you know, it's going to be fun show.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I got some cool. I have one announcement that I can make that I think is pretty awesome. And I haven't told Roxy this yet. So we'll announce that in just a second. But I went to, we found, finally for Sadie's birthday, we went to Ithaca, New York. You guys familiar
Starting point is 00:01:43 with that at all? I had never been to Ethiopia, which, yeah, you went, Mike, right? I know Ithaca, but I don't... Oh, I thought you went. I thought you went with Shannon recently. Buffalo. Oh, Buffalo. Is that where you went? Okay. Close. Similar. Yeah, close.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Yeah, it's far away from where I live. It's about, we took the kids in the car, we took the dog in the car, was about four and a half, you know, five hours. You look a little better, Roxy. It looks like I smear my camera Vaseline. I'm literally it's so weird. Like it looks perfect on my end.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Like perfect 100% perfect. Yeah, I don't know. Like I look more HD than you guys do. Yeah, that's, well, listen, if you have that for yourself, that's, that's all right. I know. And so listen, and that's something I can cuddle with tonight. Like I can keep that in my heart.
Starting point is 00:02:32 It's tough, tough. So we, we went, we took this ride with the kids and the, dog and it was really nice but I wanted the one thing we saw waterfalls we did a whole bunch of stuff I have to give a shout out to the the guy who was kind of run in this other is this we said at the marriott downtown there and next door was this place called patsies the Italian place and the guy who ran the place was awesome like the food was really good right but my wife was having my wife right now was she can't it's for her birthday weekend she
Starting point is 00:03:08 can't eat like tomato sauce and stuff so she had to and then I don't know they gave us a seizure stuff right now I know she feels like it just it just doesn't work for her system um but so she was trying to eat stuff that she could so she's like I'll get a Caesar salad with chicken sometimes in a Caesar salad they'll they'll put um anchovies right like just no not always but but a lot of these dressing at anchovy paste yeah well no no no but in the actual like actual anchovies oh big anchovies in the salad yeah like so there It was like two of them, like one on the side. I love that.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Right. She did not. And so, and so the dressing, she was like, so she, so her and my little ones, like, well, we don't really have anything. We're going to go to, we'll go, we'll go down the block here to go get some. So my, my oldest and I just destroyed. It was like, it was basically like, uh, dressing, like, meaning, like, it just, it was like, it was like, what's like, word.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Like I'm so still from driving. You were like, you could pick it right off. Like it was basically. Yeah. Yeah. It was just, it was just, it was just, yeah, 100%. Thank you, Rox. So we just put them to the side.
Starting point is 00:04:10 We devoured the damn thing. And then my wife's like, you know, I'll come back, sat down. And then she got this other pasta or whatever it was. And it just, the pasta itself, it was almost like not cooked. And I was like, let me see. It was like, it was like hardened. And it was like, oh, that's, I hate. I'm not a send back person.
Starting point is 00:04:27 I don't like doing it. I hate it. I worked at restaurants. I won't do it. But this was in, you just couldn't eat it. So my wife, very nice. It was just like, I just can't. I'm not able to eat this.
Starting point is 00:04:35 It's okay. And I'm just put it back. I'm like, if they take it off, that's fine. The guy comes over, he goes, meals on us. And I'm like, no, you can't do that. The whole meal. We had two pizzas and he's like, the meal's on us. And he comes over and he's just like, you guys, he's like, it's like, we're working.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Like this, the cooks are new. They've only been here for like five days. They're learning and they're putting things up. So this is, this is an experience. I got to, you know, I got to do this. And we're like, we can't let you take off a whole meal. We ate everything. I had a glass of wine.
Starting point is 00:05:03 He's like, not arguing with you guys. I'm taking it off. And I go, I have to. give the waitress. Yeah, a tip. And you don't have cash. And I don't think. So he charged me a cent and I gave her a very nice tip. I gave her like, you know, enough to where she was probably very happy for the day, right?
Starting point is 00:05:21 Because you have a full meal. I'm not going to do that to the guy. Regardless. So then my wife was like, oh, I just wanted this freaking. She was hit. We had a great time. We had, and Roxie, I'll tell you, not even funnier story. I don't know why I'm not sitting there on Roxie and Mike.
Starting point is 00:05:35 I'll tell you the story. Just for me, Mike. I know. I know you don't give a shit about me. I do. I do. Just when you need me. No, I need it. I need it. I'm a potato and you're today.
Starting point is 00:05:46 But I'll tell. Michael actually appreciate the first side of it too. But the first one, but the restaurants and so we're just not having luck with restaurants. And so this one, you know, tonight, she wanted a tiramisu.
Starting point is 00:05:58 We didn't work out. I mean, it was packed for the whole weekend. College kids and everything. We had this dumping place. She was fine. Well, I would think so.
Starting point is 00:06:04 This is their first, like this is Labor Day. Everybody's back. Yeah, everybody it was packed and then so when we went back got the tiramisu and I'm like let me pay for the termassou guys take the tamar sue I'm like I'm like dude he's like happy birthday and her but this guy was just really
Starting point is 00:06:17 wonderful it was great it was great and so she the guy was amazing and I said he's very good at what you so I want to give patsies a shot up now the other one place one went to with the Sedona Grill which we went to and they had go to patis because it sounds like they need another month to figure out their shit
Starting point is 00:06:33 just like wait a little bit of time well I don't know but the I mean, it was only that one thing. The other food was pretty great. I think it was just that one particular thing. It was pretty good. The Caesar or the pasta? Caesar was good.
Starting point is 00:06:45 The pizza was good. The Caesar just wasn't what she liked. The pasta was, yeah, right, right. To me, the Caesar salad was delicious. But anyway, so shout out to them, but they went to the Sedona Grill Place, the first night. And this was hilarious. It was packed. I don't think they were prepared for this rush.
Starting point is 00:07:00 There was this girl working at the front. And she must have been, if she was 19 or 20 years old, I would be shocked, right? And this girl was holding down the entire fort because not only was she hosting and trying to take this line that was going around the block, seating people, we have this, we have this outside,
Starting point is 00:07:17 we have this outside, she's trying to get everything. There is, you know, what, the few servers that were lost, I don't think they were, I don't know what they were doing. The guy we have was horrendous, but, but, but, you know, regardless, this guy, this girl was so, like, she's doing everything, balancing me. We don't know if they were, this tourist couple that came out. We don't know if they were from Sweden.
Starting point is 00:07:36 We don't know where they were. They were from somewhere. And they come over and these poor people, they come over like eight people. And the guy goes, we'd like table for eight. And she goes, and the girl goes, eight. Like it was like the most shocking thing because there was just too many people. She goes, who. Like that she goes in the back.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And she goes, I can, she goes, I can do. She goes, how many free? She has three. And they go eight. And she goes eight. She's like, I can do two booths. I can do four and four. He goes, that is fine.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Okay. Ford and Ford. Okay. So she goes back. She disappears. She comes back 10 minutes later. She goes, manager says he can't do it. Can't do it. And she just kind of like, you know, she's the bear of bad news now. Right. So here she is staring at these people. And the woman, the, I guess the wife Mike goes, I am shocked. It's like, she's frozen. And then she's like, I can't do it. And they just, these poor Finnish people, whatever, they just sadly walk away to look for food. And and and and then as we're sitting there and we were fine, we were getting hungry after a bit, but I just walked up to the girl who was running everything. I was because I had ordered, we had ordered a queso dip and it took like 45 minutes to get it.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Right. Yeah, it was beyond brutal? And I was like, was it? Was it? Was it our guy? And then I saw another table that sat with us. And it was clearly our guy because the other waitress was really good. And she was like getting their stuff out.
Starting point is 00:08:59 So I walked up to the hostess. And I was like, I go, you know, we just, we didn't wait and look. little bit. She goes, it's your server. She threw him right under the bus. Right under the bus. That's amazing. And I'm glad she did that. It was amazing. And she's like, so she goes downstairs. She brings it to the table. She was the best. And I saw her the next night. She's like, I'm so sorry about it. I just
Starting point is 00:09:19 want to let you know. She was, she was, she was, she was, she was, she was hustling. She was the best. She was the best. So anyway, that was, that was my, uh, it was my story there. I'm kind of a fan of throwing people under the bus when you're working at a restaurant and you're not the problem. It does suck. Yeah, especially if you're working on tips or commission, whatever it is. Yeah. Yeah. But that's funny. It was funny. I have a really special announcement to be like there's a there's a couple of things that I was going to announce over the next couple of weeks, but I got a text from Craig or our Kickstarter that runs it. And Roxanne didn't even told you this yet. Mike haven't told you this yet. So our goal, like right now currently we have, I'll tell you right now what
Starting point is 00:10:02 we got on the um on on the kickstarter as you got you got guys gonna have to deal with me too I've been drove all day yesterday I'm still a little loopy but um currently where I think we're about almost 2,200 I think it is I'll tell you right now currently we are at 2,158 right so our goal is to try to get the 5,000 because what we want to do is we want because I guess if when you have enough people backing it the goal is to try like within the first two days I think something like 25 or 30% of your initial goal, Kickstarter will put you on the projects we love page. And that's like a big goal that everybody, you know, Oxy where people try to aim for that.
Starting point is 00:10:44 So I have a happy announcement. We are already on the projects we love page. Oh, that's so great. How did that happen? They have been paying attention to the amount of people that are already paying attention to this and they are, they dove a little bit more deeper into what the project is, about and who is involved and we are now featured on the projects we love page already so that is a that is a big thing for everybody that has helped us accomplish that so far so we're hoping to continue to do that now we
Starting point is 00:11:17 really want to hit that 5,000 um beforehand to you know to push this thing forward and I had to take this weekend and I took a breather you know just to hang out with with Sadie and um but now it's like full steam ahead with this because we're going to have a lot of really cool things kind of coming up, you know. That's awesome. So you guys still have that goal of the number that you want to hit. I don't remember you announce this publicly. The number you want to hit beforehand. About 5,000. Yeah, yeah. We'd like to do about 5,000 leading into it. I think that'll give us a good head start kind of diving into what we want to do. Are you, I know that obviously Greg Alba's been talking about it, but are you making your rounds on other shows? That's my goal this week is to start
Starting point is 00:11:58 putting together a list and reaching out to people to try to get to, you know, once that launches on the 22nd that I have enough places to go and spread the word about. That's the intent, yes. Where are you trying to go? I don't want to say yet because I don't want to say like, oh, I reached out to so-and-so and didn't get on or I reached out. Why, shame them. Let's go. Nah, I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:12:18 But anyway, so that's what we're doing. So thank you for everybody who's been a part of it. And let's, if you can help today, if you haven't already followed it, it is the pin comment, but I would love for you. you guys to follow us now and try to get us to 2300 if you if you can so it is a our show is trending dot com all right let's get into the stuff that we um because we have we have quite a few stories that i don't want to dive into and it's always i feel like anytime we have a bond story we should leave with it with mike here you know yeah but that's as lucky for me because of what the story is i'm the
Starting point is 00:12:57 only one it's the only time that i can be the only one and you can actually talk it's true yeah Yeah, it's true. All right, let's bring it up. Hold on a second. Oh, that's Mike. Oh, that's me. Perfect. All right. Let me get this and bring up the story itself. We'll read the Bond story. I'm a Gary, Gary Oldman. Uh, there we go. Sweet. Okay. Gary Oldman drops. Interesting 007 news is slow horses star Jack Loudon, the new James Bond. These kicks kind of came out of nowhere. As the race for the next James Bond intensifies, Jack Loudon is starting to emerge as the safe bet concerning Daniel Craig's successor. Oldman is stirring the pot on the James Bond front, and it's sending the speculation surrounding the identity of the next James Bond into a frenzy. While doing press for slow horses, the legendary actor dropped a massive hint about the next James Bond, claiming that Amazon and its team of producers
Starting point is 00:13:47 have already secretly cast Daniel Craig's successor. Goldman was specifically asked about the chances of his co-star Jack Loudon and stated, it's been rumored that he's on the short list. We're going to find out pretty soon, aren't we? Because they've picked them. They've made their choice. But they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack. Okay. Let's see. He says, so my fingers are crossed. My fingers are crossed. Richard Osmond jumped, started the Jack Loudoun back in August when he let us slip that the insider chatter pointed straight at Loudoun taking over Her Majesty's Secret Service. Osmond claimed just a month after producer Amy Pascal hinted during the Spider-Man press day that we'd have an official reveal before the end of the
Starting point is 00:14:27 year. As we approached the fall time is running out. Ascal and David Heyman are steering the reboot for Amazon MGM following the end of the Broccoli and Mice, Michael G. Wilson era. All right, Mike, start with you. Yes, yes. Now, obviously Roxy is the only one who has seen this show, this slow horses.
Starting point is 00:14:46 I'm surprised that you haven't seen this show because it seems to be right up your alley of the slow horses show. But what do you make of this particular news? And do you when Gary Oldman says something, maybe it's true. I don't know. I kind of feel Olman's just saying, now, is Olin's on the show
Starting point is 00:15:02 with him. Yeah, Oman's like the man. Yeah, so I think that's one of the ones. He probably works them every day. You know, it'd be like back in the DC movie news with Roxy and us and everyone's like, Mike, you'd be a great hell, Jordan. He'd be a great Greenlander because they know me and know my personality and who I am. So he probably knows
Starting point is 00:15:18 what I think that is no bearing on I think that's a fellow cast member giving him flowers. Hyping him up, hyping him up and saying, I think, I think it's been cast. I think he's a little late in the game to be announced into it. Uh-huh. Yeah. A little bit of the game.
Starting point is 00:15:34 So you don't, so you don't really hold merit to this, you think is just... I don't. I think it's just a cast member that loves him and thinks he'd be great in the role because he probably works them every day, seeing him in a Bond type setting. Yeah. Yeah. All right. That's fair. Roxie, how do you see it? So I've never seen James Bond. So Mike and I are the two different sides of this coin. I can tell you guys about Jack and Gary. Yeah. Jack, the entire slow horse is the premise of the show is that.
Starting point is 00:16:02 that they are not good at their jobs. So they've been put into the slow horses division of like the British version of the CIA. So because they all have fucked up when they do. It's is basically what the show is. And Gary Olman runs that division and the people under him. And one of those people under him is Jack Loudon's character. So he is not great at his job. He's gotten better.
Starting point is 00:16:30 but like in some ways he kind of fumbles the ball so it's kind of interesting because from what I know about James Bond he's like Mr. Swave on the ball and the character we've seen Jack Loudoun play is very like uh sometimes I fuck this up he's got like a his grandfather is very high up in the ranks like a little bit nepoe um and not great with women so that seems very unlike James Bond however I have met him in life, in real life, a few times because he's always at these Apple events. And he's smooth as hell, cool as a cucumber, like very Bond-esque from what I imagine in a room. He is, you guys tell me about this. He's Scottish.
Starting point is 00:17:20 And he's 36. Are those two things Bond arena? Well, Connery was... What's it? Connery Scotsman. Yeah. And, yeah. And 30s, I think they're looking for a guy in their 30s. Yeah. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:36 The age thing, no. I mean, age, it just depends on where they're writing them into it. That, that to me, you know, the Scottish thing, like Mike said, it was. I mean, Connery, Fleming kind of changed the origin of bond to be Scottish with Connery. So it's right. Yeah. I don't know if that was a Scottish bond. I just know.
Starting point is 00:17:55 No, right. Yeah. You can, you can, you know, and that's that maybe they, if he can get around him and sound like he's not Scottish, you know, but I think that it'll probably come up, you know, if that's the case. I don't necessarily really know what to make of it. I think that Mike makes good points about,
Starting point is 00:18:11 and Goldman doing the rooting for our guy thing. Me too, me too. Yeah. They are like this on the show, like, and you see them in best, I think that that's definitely solid. An endorsement from Gary Olman doesn't hurt, you know? And Gary Elman knows the game.
Starting point is 00:18:25 And he's like, he's like, they haven't announced it yet. Routing for my boy. I think the biggest thing that will probably happen to Jack out of this is that his name is in the run. Like, nobody knows his name. I knew his name. When I saw the story, I was like, oh, my God. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:41 People will know his name now. That's probably a good thing that Gary did for him. And that's, yes. And I think that what is working, this is what I like the most about the names that I've heard. And I hate the fact that it makes it seem like I'm rooting against a Lordy because I happen to like him as an actor. I think he's really good. I just do not think he's the right fit for Bond for a lot of different reasons over the point that I've made a million times over about how I just think he's too tall for Bond. Not in life.
Starting point is 00:19:09 The guy can't help, but he's a tall guy. But for Bond, it's because that's going to be difficult to continue to make, you know, first of all, he's got to blend in. But that's irrelevant. The other side is he's the biggest name out of all the people in the same way. And it's a little hypocritical on me because I always said I thought Aaron Taylor Johnson was on. I thought Aaron Taylor Johnson is a bigger name than even a Lordy. And so both of them, I think it's good that they're out of it. And I like these newer names that you're like, well, who is?
Starting point is 00:19:38 Daniel Craig was in stuff, but he wasn't a name. Everybody knew. Everybody knows who is. Yeah. Layer cake and other things. You need a name like that. You need someone that's on the rise, but not a known name. That's why I think Aaron Taylor Johnson was, I thought he was a great choice, but it was, that wasn't going to happen.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Yeah, he's too big of a name. I'm with you. I agree with you. I think that, you know, let the person really hit superstardom through what they do in their interpretation on bond. And I think that that's what these people are doing. So, all right, curious about what you guys think. Put your thoughts in there. Let us know, please and thank you.
Starting point is 00:20:13 We got two wonderful sponsors for you guys today, both Rougiet and Factor. We'll say about both of them. And then we're right back. Thank you to Rujette. Thank you, too. Factor. Really excited to have them both on the show. I hope you guys help support the show.
Starting point is 00:20:27 by getting yourself something great. Links are in the description. All right, you guys have a head start because we didn't do a show yesterday. So currently, even with nine questions. You took Labor Day off, sir. Yeah, you guys are in the lead with nine questions. Pretty good.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Pretty good. We came in second last week, guys. You did. It was Roeke came in first. You guys came in second. And it seems you always chasing Roca one way or another. But this time is the worst second is the best. There is one.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Would you guys say Harry Chester who forgot to get dressed? Neither. Neither. Yeah. What do you say? Nothing. Second is the first loser. That's it.
Starting point is 00:21:09 I say you suck. You never said that? No. But you know what I, you know, do me a favor, Luke. Rain in the chat. Hold on saying.
Starting point is 00:21:18 I forgot about something because I want to show. Harry Chester forgot to get dressed. Well, you know what, Roxy actually pays attention to social media. She's probably seen it. Have you seen the post that I did with Martinez? need a trick that she does? No.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Oh, you didn't see it. Don't look. Don't look. If you haven't looked yet, I'm going to have Luke loaded into the thing. There's no way Mike. It's already in there. I did it.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Oh, it's in there. Oh, you did. Look at Peel thing. What trick does she do? I'm going to show you. Because I had no idea that this could even be a thing. I guess some people that I know who do it. Check this out.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Ready? Do you do any impressions? No, but I have, I do this one thing. Can I do it? Yeah, sure. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, get me out of you. I'm stuck inside. I can't get on.
Starting point is 00:21:57 It's the one thing I can do. I've never seen that before. Yeah. That's fucking crazy. That used to be my bar trick. That's so creepy. I used to do it when I was pregnant and people would be old. That is awesome.
Starting point is 00:22:12 I mean, to me, that's really cool. No, I have to tell you what I, I saw you say, can you do any impressions? And she said,
Starting point is 00:22:20 no, and then I schooled. Oh, then you scrolled once she said, no. You missed it. You missed it. You missed it.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I did it. You got to clip the thing. First thing out first. And then rewind. That's a good trick. I like that. Because I was like, oh, see, that's so funny. I was just telling them women can't do impressions for shit.
Starting point is 00:22:42 It wasn't an impression. No, it was way cooler. I mean, what she just did. I can't have been trilliquist, but I can, have you seen me talk with my mouth closed? But I can't do anything like that. That was crazy. I mean, it's so clear.
Starting point is 00:22:54 It's so clear. Because if she's so tight-lipped, how is she doing that? I don't know. It's so clear. And the fact that she did it when she was pregnant is hilarious. That's so funny. Why is she in the car? She couldn't get good reception where she was.
Starting point is 00:23:06 So we had a really good... She looked better than me. I can't talk. I'm just wondering. The audience really, really liked her. And that's what I was hoping. Is that the first time they've seen her? They had one stream with her too.
Starting point is 00:23:15 But she really, like, we were able to talk a little bit more about everything that we were doing now. We were a little more tight-lipped last time. How many views does that clip have? Right now on Instagram? Yeah. Or on YouTube. I think it's doing better on YouTube than it is on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Let me say, hold on. I'll tell you right now. Kevin Smith's right now is going to get mad at you. No. Right now it's at almost. He's not because he comes to me for advice on that. Okay. It's almost at 9,000 on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:23:46 We should re-edit it, re-put it up. All right. Let's see what it's doing on YouTube. On the YouTube's, it's got almost 20. Yeah. All right. Yeah. No, we read it.
Starting point is 00:23:59 That's really cool trick she can do. Yeah, okay. Can she say other things? Because you should have her promote. I know, I should try it. And we should promote the show, promote Kickstarter like that.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Totally. That's really cool. I've never seen anybody doing it. Not like that. Good, Mike. You what you're saying? So that's the thing now, because I've seen that,
Starting point is 00:24:13 and I didn't understand it. They'll put the thing at the beginning and then the whole. Yeah. So, hey, guys, let's give you the punchline to the fucking joke and then make you sit with a joke. Fuck off. How about we give people an attention span? I love crouchy, Mike.
Starting point is 00:24:30 I love grouch. I love grouch. Here's the joke. Wait, now sit through the punch line. Here's the punchline. Now sit through the setup of the joke. The fact that that's what you decided to get. Is fucking in the shitter.
Starting point is 00:24:46 This fucking generation sucks ass. Fuck off. I wondered what was going on with that. I was like, wait a minute. Did my video skip to the beginning? He was so silent. He was so silent. I only wasn't saying anything.
Starting point is 00:25:00 It was festering. It was like festering. He just had to give a Gen X punch. Right? Right. I never understood it. I never understood it. And I like, fuck.
Starting point is 00:25:10 I have two things to say. Two things to say. Number one and most importantly, as somebody who manages multiple people's social media accounts, here's what I have learned. It is what it is. I can't get annoyed at the things. Because if you don't follow the.
Starting point is 00:25:29 algorithm, it will not perform. So I've stopped judging it because Mike, I was having the same experience you were because there was a long period where it was like seven second clips are all people who watch. Seven seconds are under. And I was like, these fucking troll, these fucking people. Whatever. If that's what it is, then that's what you have to do. The second thing I've realized is that it seems like it's not to me, to me, I agree
Starting point is 00:25:53 with you, it's killing the punchline. Yeah. For that generation, what it seems like is that they like to know. know how to get somewhere more than where you end up. So like, it's about like what the question was that got you to that place. Yeah. How did we get there? How did that happen?
Starting point is 00:26:11 How did that happen? Oh, that's a big moment. How did that moment get there? I'm with Mike, by the way. But I understand. No, but I'm with Mike also. I'm with, but I understand. That's why it does what it does.
Starting point is 00:26:21 It's almost like the thing about the Star Wars prequels. And you know Vader's turning bad. Right. How did it happen? Right. It's about like, wait, so I know that, but how do you get there? It's annoying. But in 30 seconds.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Because the comedian in me is like, what do you mean? You guys are 100% right. I'm just as I've taken this. I remember. Yeah, you're right. I remember this. This was a really good point. I remember, I guess, not as this starts a bunch.
Starting point is 00:26:48 People are saying, you have to hook people within 30 seconds or they, or they'll scroll past your video. That's not anymore. Now it's three seconds. Fuck off. it's just not for me it's just not for me it's just not going to ever be for me i'm at that point my life now i like i i love you for it and i love you for if i was myself if i was myself right now in the 70s i'd look different as a 52 year old man i would be different sure oh you did you have a full on the outfits you'd be wearing what i didn't get i didn't get what you just said okay if you
Starting point is 00:27:21 ever look like look back roxy on tv shows in the 70s well they looked like the people that were like 50 years old. They were 35. Yeah, they looked 80. Right. If you're 50, Wilford Brimley. Wilford Brimley is the best, is the best example. Yeah, Wolframley. I'm older than Wilford Brimley when he died in Coon. I a lot. When Wilford Brimley was in cocoon, I think he was like, I don't even know if it was 40.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Yeah. But so I'm saying like, but physically, I've not caught up to that 80 year old man, but that's where I am with everything in life now. Like, it's the best. I'm out. I'm out. And I like that. I'm out. I can't with social year bullshit anymore. If you looked at your social demos, though, Mike, I have a feeling that you are in, you're attracting the not younger generation,
Starting point is 00:28:04 so you don't have to cater to that. You don't worry about it, right. It's true. But as Chris is trying to, like, get everybody. Yeah. Yeah, no, I understand. Totally. For a show called trending.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Right. Like, you've got a. Yeah, yeah. I get you. It's true. I mean, there is something to be said about that, right? Like, so if I have, like, you look at some of the clips that I have that are out there that are in the hundreds of thousands to millions on Instagram,
Starting point is 00:28:25 as to me, some of the ones aren't even that interesting. Right. As opposed to that, which I would stop immediately. Maybe there's something to that. But I'm part of the problem for sure, because I heard, can you do an impression? She said no. I went, boop. Huh?
Starting point is 00:28:42 She can't do it out of law or less than. Representing. No, if you're wrong, if you take out the word no, can you do impressions? And she said, I have a weirder thing I could do. Like, instead of ever saying, no. I probably would have stayed to watch. I'm the same token. If I'm watching a video
Starting point is 00:29:00 and the person's taken too long to get to what they're trying to fucking do, I'm out. Let's go. I don't want it right away, but I don't need all the bullshit. Don't get me. They do that sometimes too. That's true. Like you'll get like, okay, wait till the end.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And the end is like, what do I wait? Wait three minutes for that? But they don't even say wait sometimes. Like, you ever watch something that's like, how to get rock hard abs? and then it will be like four minutes of things about like completely nothing. Yeah, I'm like, I'm out.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Like, God damn it. Well, listen, I agree with everybody and what they're saying. It all makes sense, but I hate it. All right, let's, let's move on to this. Now, this was, I felt like we had to bring this up. It wasn't in the notes. So I don't expect you guys to watch the trailer. But because of what had happened on this show with Mike and Winston a few months back,
Starting point is 00:29:49 I had to bring it up. And there's a new trailer that came out. out today. And it was Luca's new movie with Andrew Garfield. And it was called Artificial. I watched this trailer. What happened months back? I don't know what you said. I'll tell you in a second.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Neon has premiered the teaser trailer for Challengers and Call Me By Your Name Director Luca Gwagdanino's artificial ahead of the film's awards qualifying run starred on Christmas Day. The film looks into the meteoric rise of OpenAI, the company behind Chat GPT, alongside the personal rivalries, Eagle Clashes, and Ethics. tensions behind the scenes. The cast includes Andrew Garfield and a lot of other people. All right. So back in mid-June, Amazon made headlines for dropping the movie shortly after
Starting point is 00:30:35 the shopping giant committed to a 50 billion investment in Open AI. Multiple distributors passed until neon picked up the film and it underwent reshoots and became markedly darker than the original script plan. Film is set to premiere at the 2026 New York Film Festival in early October before the December 25th limited run. All right. So, Roxy, so just so you're aware. Yeah, because I'm, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:58 So it came up, and I can't remember we were talking, they started talking about Luca. And I know Mike was just misinformed at that particular moment. And he thought that Luca was doing, he's like, I can't watch his movies because he's doing a whole movie in AI. And, and then people started, and it was the funny part is that the chat was screaming at him that he was doing a movie about AI and about chat.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Yeah, yeah, I remember. And I admitted it. 100% it was wrong. 100% you did. You 100% did. And I think there was something right after that too. The whole day was just misinformation. It was hilarious.
Starting point is 00:31:29 But nonetheless, the movie, I just saw the trailer today. It absolutely plays like, what was the Facebook movie? The social network. It plays like that. And it's a darker version. Neon took it. It looks pretty fascinating in how they're doing it, especially now with how open AI is. it does seem like something you would like, Mike, from what I saw inside of the trailer itself.
Starting point is 00:31:54 But it's pretty, it's pretty, and the darker side of it, what they said there, how they shot it for a little more of a darker feeling. You can tell it looks, it almost looks like the beginning of Skynet. Did you, did you see the trailer, P-LD? Doesn't it feel like, doesn't it feel like the origins of Skynet? It really did. Right? It was creepy, it was creepy.
Starting point is 00:32:13 Like, it feels like, it, I mean, it really does. So I loved it. I really love the trail. I'm a Luca guy in general. Are you an Andrew Garfield guy? Oh, I love Andrew Garfield. Yeah. I love Andrew Garfield.
Starting point is 00:32:24 I'm a big Andrew Garfield fan. I like the way he carries himself outside of, uh, me too. And he does seem to make pretty smart choices on what he's been filming. I feel like. So yeah. I thought he's never picked anything bad, but. Yeah, sure. But he's just, he's just one of those guys.
Starting point is 00:32:39 It's hard, hard not to like him. Yeah. And he's a fantastic actor. So I'm looking, I'm looking forward to this one. But Mike, I know you haven't seen the trailer. but any interest in, and did you like the social network, by the way? I forget. I don't know you stance on that.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Yeah. I remember watching it and enjoying it, but it didn't really stick with me afterward. Like, yeah, but this, I like Andrew Garfield. So, and maybe I owe it to everybody for the, for the misunderstanding that I had. So I'll give it a shot, even if I didn't want to give it a shot. That's fair. That's fair. Rock, what do you think about, A, Luca, B, this.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Did you ever watch a wind up watching after the hunt? no i didn't um that's andrew garfield also right yeah he's he's not he's not in it nearly enough he kind of disappears for a good chunk of the movie he they probably look at andrew garfield yeah that that's their third movie together is that true well i'm looking at andrew garfield's filmography right now yeah i loved under the banner of heaven that show i loved we live in time i thought that was amazing i loved tick-tick boom um obviously spider man oh tit-tick boom was great i just the fact that it's the last movie of his I'll ever watch. I love Taxaw Ridge.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Obviously, I'm, I don't mean obviously, I'm a huge social network fan. I thought that that movie was fucking amazing. Huge fan of his. I don't know why after the hunt sounded so mid to me from everybody. Everybody, that's what everyone was saying. I liked it, but, but, you know, I thought it opened up. Yeah, I just thought it opened a lot of great conversation.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I loved challengers. I loved challengers. I liked the ending in challenges, but I like the movie. Oh, I loved the end. I loved Challengers. I loved Call Me by your name. Yeah. I'm missing a few of his movies, though.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Did you see, this is completely off the subject. I'm pulling on you right now. Did you see Practical Magic 2? I haven't seen Practical Magic 1. Okay. So that's probably why you didn't see two. Are you going to want? Then they, I thought that they had me on hold for it.
Starting point is 00:34:44 And then I saw that it just popped up for the channel with Tara and, and John, so I didn't have to do it. I just watched the first one for the first time with Sam. How was it? I liked it. It was a pure 90s movie. I liked the second one. I seemed to be one of the few people that liked the second one. Was it not doing well?
Starting point is 00:35:00 I don't know if it's critically. Critically, I don't think so. Let me see where we are with that. Last I checked the initial ones. I, sorry to pull me, I guess. Sandra Bullock is the hottest person I've ever She has aged so, not that 62 is aged, but she is so hot.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Like I couldn't believe the press run she was on for this. 38% right now on Rotten Tomatoes. Oof. Yeah. I don't think it's going to have any impact whatsoever on the opening at all. Oof. Yeah. And the what's not the opening?
Starting point is 00:35:37 Yeah, no. It's already tracking it like 50 million. Oh, is that even open yet? No, it opens next weekend. Are you going to see it, Mike? Do you care about that? No. Oh.
Starting point is 00:35:47 No. Are you going to see that? She didn't care about it? She saw the original. She was just watching it the other day in the house. So, yeah. I saw onslaught last night. Oh, how was that?
Starting point is 00:36:01 You know, we should probably, maybe that's our next, the next thing we can, we can talk about. Because I watched that clip from Josh Harwood's day because he just had Adria Arona on the, on the show. Do we have that? He got her, well, I don't know if she, she kind of- She kind of screwed herself over on the comment she said on there. If I'm Wonder Woman, I'm going to give your favorite charity $500. Well, that's not how, that's, I watched the whole clip. And to be fair, how she worded it.
Starting point is 00:36:29 It's like, if she's not it, she hates. That's not how she worded it, though, to be fair, I watched the clip this morning. What happened was he was very slick in how he did it. And he was talking about how when he talked to Jason Momoa about, Aquaman all these years ago and said, you're Aquaman. He goes, Josh, if I'm Aquaman, you can punch me in the face, is what he said to Josh Horowitz. So Josh Horwitz, years later, kind of give him a playful, kind of tap on that.
Starting point is 00:36:53 And then so he goes, I'll make, he's like, I'm not going to bet violence with you. He goes, but what he goes, I'm convinced you're playing one or one. He goes, she goes, let's, well, we'll do a bet. And they basically said, okay, well, if you're playing Maxima, I will put $500, Josh said, I will put $500 towards charity of your choice. and if you're playing Wonder Woman, you put a 500 towards Minders. And she thinks about it.
Starting point is 00:37:16 She's like, okay, that's fair, fine. And she was the one that says, so 500, if I'm maximum, you're going to put it towards mine. Because she didn't want to just do straight up cash. Gotcha. So basically they just agreed that if he won 500 towards, she would put 500 towards his charity and vice versa. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:34 There was a slick way to do it. And it's also, but I also very much said, she's going to put $500 towards his favorite chart. It's like she's what. That's upsetting. Yeah. Like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:37:47 this is getting worse than Sadie Sink is Jean Gray at this. Yeah, this would be a complete bust if she's maximum by the way. Like, we've talked about this. She is, of all the actors, actresses out there,
Starting point is 00:37:57 and she is the big rising star that hasn't really gone forward yet. Like, you don't put her as a, a henchman. No. That's going to be probably, one movie. Not at the stage
Starting point is 00:38:10 in her career. But also it was good. I love, do you like Adam Wingard? I love the guest. That's one of my favorite. You like the movie? I love. I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:38:21 It's different than what it kind of is promoting itself. It makes it seem like she's this badass soldier that's going to have a ton of guns and go rambo on these guys. And they really don't do that. And I'm so happy for that. Because it's kind of the way that they build these super soldiers. up you're like how the hell is this girl
Starting point is 00:38:40 gonna even a guy against them but they they really flip expectations and she's not this incredible soldier that's just badass they really she's really she's great she's great and everything she does start I enjoyed it it's not as good as the guest but Wingard has a very distinct
Starting point is 00:39:00 80s style vibe to him and I love that yeah what about you Rocks about what Wingard specifically no no about these comments with Adriah in general. Did you watch a clip? I'm doing a, no, I didn't watch it,
Starting point is 00:39:14 but you just said it. And after Mike said it was, I was like, oh yeah, I did see that on my social. I am making a video about this right now for a real rejects, but I'm super confused on why DC is not announcing her as Wonder Woman right now.
Starting point is 00:39:30 They're waiting too long. Maybe Comic-Con next year, I don't know. I think it's a strange move because because they, because they announced her, there was no need to announce her in general if you weren't going to announce who she was playing unless you were so concerned that she was going to be leaked but even if she had been leaked it's better to have her leaked in the DC than as a specific other character it doesn't the way they've done this and some might call me a James Gunn DC shill which honestly I wouldn't call
Starting point is 00:40:04 myself a shill but it's very rare that I really don't like something or just decision that gun or DC is making. I don't understand this one. I feel like if you know she is Wonder Woman and right now you guys need the good will, say it. Well, the argument against that. I'm with you,
Starting point is 00:40:22 but Roxy, the argument against that, and I'm not saying this is the reason for success, but they could certainly interpret it that way with what Mike just brought up the Gene Gray thing, right? Yeah. Everybody knew that Sadie Sing was Gene Gray.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Everybody knew it. They wanted you to hold that until, you know, you saw the movie after us. Even then, keep it quiet, right? Maybe they're trying to do that. But they didn't announce her as somebody else. I think that's okay. They didn't announce, they didn't announce
Starting point is 00:40:49 as Maxima. Be sure? Yeah, they didn't announce for Maxima. No, he is right that D.C. didn't say that. It was a trade. I don't remember which trade. Yeah, and then they backed away from her. But I do think it is weird. Like, Sadie Sink wasn't announced by anybody or wasn't claimed to be somebody else.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Like, and also CDC. Well, no, that's not true. That's not true. I mean, Gwen Stacy, I'm guilty of that. There was. No, those were theories. That was, like the maxima thing was published. By, by a trade.
Starting point is 00:41:22 Right. Yeah, I don't remember who, but then everybody ran with it. And that's not necessarily their fault. But once that happens, you pivot. Like, she is out there that she's in the D.C. Why? I don't know. I just think it's strange.
Starting point is 00:41:37 And I don't think it worked with Sadie Sick. I think it was the wrong thing. I think you're probably right there too. But you know what I will say is that where I'm with you is, Mike. Yeah. And we're going to get into the next story here about Wonder Woman and the movie in general, how it regards to Supergirl. The thing is everyone's been talking about, listen,
Starting point is 00:41:58 you got all these side characters. Where are the big characters? Where is Superman? We get it. Where's the big characters? If you know she's in the movie, then maybe Roxy's right. It's like, say, look, you might be pretty exciting because Wonder Woman's going to debut and it's Adri Arona, right? Because the problem is now with this buildup, here's the other side of it.
Starting point is 00:42:16 If the buildup is getting that strong that she's going to be one of herment, and she turns out to be Maxima, and it's just kind of like this side character, they try to make cool. That's going to hurt. That's going to hurt. That's going to hurt. So, yeah, I don't know. Where do you stand on it? Mike, do you think they should be quiet about it?
Starting point is 00:42:32 Well, okay, so think of what you're saying there. So let's say, let's play devil's advocate and say she is maximum. out. Yeah. When it comes out and the internet goes nuts and sucks, the gun sucks and this and it's like, hey, we never said she's wondering woman. That's you guys. And he will come out and say that. You know he will. He's like, hey, man, we never said this. You guys did this. I know, but you should that's always my, that's always my thing. I thought they should have done this for stranger things. I thought they should have done with other things when these things start to happen in order to get people to stop going after you. You're like, you, it's great theories, guys, but let's just squash it.
Starting point is 00:43:04 Here's the deal. And you just let it know. And like, Or if Maxima, like Wonder Woman, I can see them. Even though I'm with Roxy as far as I can, if you know, she's in there, let it lose. If it is Wonder Woman, I get keeping it quiet. If it's Maxima, I don't understand keeping it. Well, here's the thing, too. I think personally, I think Maximo was a red herring. I think she was probably on the call sheets as Maxima.
Starting point is 00:43:28 I think, but they're almost done, they're wrapped filming on that movie. We've not seen a single leak from that of her. anywhere. Right. It's not so maybe maybe there was talk that her scenes were going to be outdoors and they were worried about leaks, you know, leaks, but then they realized like, well, we can shoot this
Starting point is 00:43:49 all indoors, we don't need to. And maybe and this is again a shock because we know Wonder Woman and it's going to lead into this story is kind of being fast-track. Maybe they said, you know what, let's wait till we've got the announcement of the director when we're going with this movie and we'll announce it all in one package. Instead of like,
Starting point is 00:44:07 She's Wonder Woman and Superman. And then we've got the movie coming out. Five months later, we're announcing the movie. Let's do it as a package deal. Well, wait. And we're going to put her out there on the world stage as a package. There's a good segue into that because the question is if she is Wonder Woman, well, there might, there's a new rumor that says that Wonder Woman solo movie might not even be a thing.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Because, depending on what you believe her, check this out. Rumors. Go ahead. Oh, my. No, I've got, once you tell the story, I'm going to have a set, a set, a, uh, sidebar to this story that I'm going to get you want to your guys opinion on. Yeah, go nuts.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Okay. This fucking generation sucks ass. That's fair. That is such a good clip. Especially he doesn't name or what generation. It's just super open. It's a super end.
Starting point is 00:44:58 I just, we probably have to put some beeps in that. I'm going to put it on social, but it's pretty good. It's pretty good. I'll play the rest of it. That's a great one. Rumor, Wonder Woman movie on the backburner following Supergirl's poor performance.
Starting point is 00:45:12 A rumor's swirl about A.J. Arjana playing Diana Prince and Mano Tomorrow. It appears at DC Studios. Wonder Woman movie has fallen by the way sign after the summer's Supergirl bombed by Josh Wilden. There's a huge excitement to see A.J.R. Hona suit up as Wonder Woman in next summer's Manna Tomorrow, assuming that she's been cast as, but Diana Princess Solo outing may not be headed our way anytime soon, despite reports that DC Studios is fast-tracking, the movie, a new rumor suggests that Supergirl's performance, 53% of Rotten Tomatoes, grossed only 126.4 million worldwide,
Starting point is 00:45:44 bad news for the Amazon. I think that is complete and utter nonsense, and I'll bring that up in a second. According to Night Edge Media Caleb Williams, the Wonderwin movie, while not canceled, is on the backburner because of Supergirl. Williams added that on hold or paused also apply, confirming that the project is not in pre-production.
Starting point is 00:46:00 This is a disappointing update, but perhaps expected. Anna Nogero wrote Supergirl and has been hired by DC Studios to pen the scripts for Teen Titans and Wonder Woman. James Gunn has waxed lyrical about only moving forward with scripts the studio is happy with. However, he still has to answer to Warner Bros. Discovery, which is likely to be nervous about a Wonder Woman movie from the writer of Supergirl. As of now, DC Studios hasn't announced anything for 2028. Clayface arrives next month and Man at Tomorrow is next summer, but that's it. Beyond Creature Commandos season two, no TV shows have been confirmed. Gunn has previously described Wonder Woman as a priority,
Starting point is 00:46:34 but said I wouldn't call that fast track. Nothing's going to be shot unless we're as sure as we can that the script is good. That begs the question of how cameras started rolling on Supergirl, but Negra Express excitement to be working on Wonder Woman while promoting that movie in June. Okay, let's just jump from there. All right, Mike, you wanted to talk about this first? So I saw this story pop up yesterday. Yes.
Starting point is 00:46:54 And I'm going to say, I'm going to preface this by saying, I do not know this Caleb Williams. I'm looking at him right now online. who I saw of this guy. He's got 6,000 followers from Knights Edge Media. And he did this story. So I just went sources. And then a giff of, I'll wait.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Of course, didn't respond. And then Josh Wilding, who comic movies has a much bigger following, takes this. So tell me, how does Caleb Williams with his 6,000 followers have the insider track that no one else has had? Like, I can't stand this bullshit in this world. And again, has he ever done any other? the story that's gotten traction. He's not a Grace Randolph. He's not like, so you know what I'm going to fucking start doing. I'm going to sit there. I live next to Warner Brothers. I'm going to go on the lot because I know some friends that work there. I'm going to take my little camera and point
Starting point is 00:47:41 at the W. Towers. Hey guys, and the WB lot just got passed by DC Studios. So I had heard this. And let's fucking blow that up into a story. And every other news network fucking takes it. We give too much bullshit to these people that talk out their fucking asses. And you ask, You asked their sources. I can't tell my sources. I'll lose them. I can't tell my sources. That's fucking bullshit, man.
Starting point is 00:48:03 It's all bullshit. This fucking generation sucks ass. Exactly. Exactly. So. I'm just going to go around. Roxy, I remember we talked about this,
Starting point is 00:48:13 Roxy, many years ago. Remember when you and I got invited to DC studios a couple times? Yeah. Like to the, here in Burbank, I was going to, I was going to have a stack of comics in my hand
Starting point is 00:48:24 with Blue Beetle on them and take a picture with you and just drop in and let the internet go fucking wild with it. I remember you said, yeah, you better not do that. And I was like, yeah, I probably shouldn't. But I was going to to see like, oh, Mike Kulanooski DC guy, he's studying Blue Beetle at D.C. headquarters.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Like, it's bullshit, man. Like, if Grace Randolph was saying that, and you guys know I can't stand Grace Randolph, but if she was saying this, I'd go, you know what? She's got a good track, Rick, and she knows what she's doing. Like, you know what I will. 6,000. I mean, and I'm no offense to this guy, Caleb, he could be a good dude, but what is this?
Starting point is 00:49:00 What are we doing here? All right. Well, listen, Roxie, go ahead. You were going to say. Just talking about it for a second, though, like, let's just say that they're not doing a Wonder Woman standalone movie for the purposes of this conversation, okay? Sure. That would be strange.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Yeah. Because of a few things. Number one, that would be them saying out loud, we don't think Supergirl was successful because it was a woman. Right. Which I don't think that anybody, I mean, maybe some. some people, but the people who think that Supergirl wasn't successful because it centered around a girl are not looking at the rest of what happened there.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Like that that would be a lame deduction of what took place. So for James Gunn to be like, all right, well, and Peter Saford to be like, well, one girl movie didn't work. So we can't do any girl movie. That would be crazy. And not how that works, especially considering what the first Wonder was. woman movie made. So that wouldn't really make sense. And if it wasn't a financial decision, it wouldn't be a decision. The second thing is, Wonder Woman's a bigger character than Supergirl is. 100%. And I don't know that Wonder Woman is going to be the next movie they do, but to take a solo
Starting point is 00:50:17 Wonder Woman movie off the table in the next five years would be really detrimental to your big three. Now, no, Roxanne with you, 100%. The only thing, that I could say out of this, and I think would have given, I think Mike would even said, well, that has a little bit more merit. If they said, well, after looking at what Supergirl did and looking at the money that it made and looking at both critics and fans' perception, they're moving past Ann and Aguera. That would be like, that makes sense. Because that's happened before. Even looking like Colin Chavaro, who was on, he went from Jurassic World. He did the book of Henry.
Starting point is 00:50:57 or whatever it was, and then people didn't like that movie, and then you get removed from the thing. I'm just saying out of the two scenarios, what's more likely. What's more likely to me is saying, okay, if she's not on it, that's probably because they, and even if Gunn was advocating for her,
Starting point is 00:51:12 you can get enough pushback from the higher-ups there, as opposed to where I agree with Roxy, and what you're saying is to saying, we got to scrap the whole movie. Women in these roles, they don't want to see them, get rid of it. even Wonder Woman who is, even with Gal Godot in her own, did pretty well in the first one.
Starting point is 00:51:30 We still want to go? No, they don't want to see women. Get rid of it. I'm with Roxy. Because Wonder Woman is, the difference is that Wonder Woman is Wonder Woman. She's one of those big IPs. And Adri Arana is going to be a, she's just already getting up there with people.
Starting point is 00:51:45 People want to see her and people who are wherever want to see her. Once she's in that role, it's going to go huge, especially if you're going to debut her in Woman of Tomorrow and then not do the movie, What if she's super popular in the movie? That would make no sense. So this, I don't buy at all that they're scrapping the Wonder Woman movie, but I do think there might be merit that Annan Aguirre is not going to be doing the script. Mike, what do you think?
Starting point is 00:52:09 Well, I'm torn because I don't blame Anna Nagora for Supergirl. And you guys know this, and I don't know if our audience does. A movie's made three times when it's written, when it's shot, and when it's edited. Totally. And Jim's Gunn, it said, we're not going to greenlight a movie unless this. script is great and ready to go. So I would love to see, and we never will, the original script that they greenlit to what ended up on this screen. And if the script was great, you know, I mean, I look at people like Akiva Goldsmith who did Batman and Robin, but then did a beautiful
Starting point is 00:52:43 mind. Like, you know, I don't blame her because something greenlit that script. And that's fine to look at it that way. But the difference between Akiva and her is she never written anything before as far as um okay that's fair enough fair enough and so so so the problem is with the kiva you can go yeah but he's done this this isn't this he had one clunker i give him another shot two in a row yeah i get it and the yeah and the problem is if you're going to give her this movie right after supergirl right does turn out bad first of all her careers is going to be completely done second is that you're putting you're putting at risk you need to get somebody who's polished to make sure that one of your biggest stars
Starting point is 00:53:27 and Wonder Woman shines. Do you think it's possible though? Do you think it's possible? Like, okay, long enough that I can give spoilers on Supergirl. Obviously, one of the most controversial parts about Supergirl was how it ended. And then deviating from the comics with the decision that Supergirl makes with Kram. Right? Everybody's with me so far.
Starting point is 00:53:49 I must say, does, did she make that? choice? Or did the studio make that choice? If she didn't make that choice, did they say to her, this is what you have to do? Her instinct was, no, this will be really bad. And now they want to trust her instincts. Like, I'm just curious what the conversation were in the room that we weren't there. But maybe the things that she wanted in there that they cut out could have been the good stuff. And maybe she now can say, not in public, but behind closed doors, see how you guys made the wrong choices and my instincts were correct. Now, I have no idea if that's the case.
Starting point is 00:54:28 No, it's a good point to me. But also, possibly. Yeah. Everyone talks about the beauty of that book, Woman of Tomorrow, which it is. That has nothing to do with what's written on the page. The way it looks and the color of the planets and all this incredible, like,
Starting point is 00:54:42 that was of choice that a lot of people complained about. Look how gray it looks. It's all blah. You took the comic and you turned it into slop. That has nothing to do with her. Right. And there were some moments that I really enjoyed. in that film. I don't like the, I mean,
Starting point is 00:54:56 the dialogue was not great. But again, like, we know that this went through so many different iterations. Like, until she goes, hey, guys, here is my script dated here. Compare this to the finished movie. Well, you know, you know, I'll give it a comparison to, and Roke and I talk about this often is, so Gavin Hood was a guy, I remember when I was working at Silver,
Starting point is 00:55:15 there was this movie called Sotsie, that Gavin. Sossi? Sotsie, which is a, yeah, which is a, it was an independent. It's really, powerful. It's a really good movie and it's very well written. Gavin Hood did this thing. But then Gavin Hood was brought on by the studio to do, I think it was in origins, origins, right? Well, we're in origins, yeah. And that movie's terrible. And he got, and he was, and from people that I know and other people do, he was basically just bullied into doing what they wanted him to do.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Now, this is the director as opposed to the writer, right? Just writing. But it happens. It happens. And then they're the ones that the scapegoat of going, well, it was, it was, it's that, that, that, they didn't direct the movie well enough. It was like, yeah. But then when you really go, he's Kevin, who's, he's a good director. And that was just not the movie he wanted to make. And it happens all the time. Who knows what really happened? Look, Roxy, you and I, we saw, we sat next to each other for the last 28 days when whatever it was bone, what the hell was a bone temple order? And we both said the same thing. We just haven't really been blown away by Nia da Costa. And we both looked at each other after and said, that was great. That was great. great. That was her best movie. And you can't blame the marvels on her though. That's what I'm saying. That's my point. Not a Marvel film. You don't blame the director. No, no, no, but that's my point. I liked the
Starting point is 00:56:36 marvels better than I liked Candyman. Okay, so I didn't see Candyman, but I saw that that movie that was getting all the Oscar praise last year with Tessa Thompson. I couldn't stand. I thought that movie was so pretentious. I couldn't take that movie. I was sick. I got sick or watching it. I couldn't. I don't blame it on Nia da Costa.
Starting point is 00:56:53 Mike. I don't really blame anything any movie i see on any one person because we just don't fucking know that's that's the that's the bottom line there is you just don't really know what it is i'm with you though mike i don't after the behind the scene stuff of what you heard about the marvel it's kind of my point is what i'm saying um but anyway we'll see what happens i think if as roxy was saying if they do decide if this report is true which not only anyone one of us thinks that it is that they're not going to do a wonder woman movie that would be a massive error so a huge mistake i mean i don't mistake. I don't think that there's merit to this, but if there is for the purposes of discussion
Starting point is 00:57:25 sake, I think that would be a really, really dumb choice that they will really live to regret. Yes, I agree with you. All right. So what do you guys make of it? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know. We're going to jump to the questions today because right now they're doing pretty good, 37 right now. And we're going to see if they can set the bar because tomorrow Smets comes back on Wednesdays. Thursday is Chris Carr. Friday is Winston. So, So who is going to win? We shall see. Now, one of the things, once again, I'm going to check.
Starting point is 00:57:58 I want to do a little update and see how we're doing on, as I mentioned to you guys, we are on the Projects I Love page. We have almost 2160. How many projects are there, Christian? There's a bunch, but most of them, most of them on the project we love have been going for a little bit. I don't know how rare it is before you even launched that are on there. So a lot of them on the projects we already launched.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Yeah. So we haven't even launched that. That's really cool. So that's cool because what is, sorry, what is your tag our show, right? Yep. And they did that. That's so cool. Just this was done by the way by one of our fans.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Yeah, that looks sick. That was awesome. It looks really good. We're going to use that. That looks really cool. Yeah. And so we're going to use that a little bit more. It was very kind.
Starting point is 00:58:48 And again, the support you guys have been doing. It's been amazing. So we're going to post that. today, but if you can, and you haven't already supported. Pictures in color, Christian. I know you love it. I love the color.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Yeah, because you guys are handsome and beautiful gents and women and just pops more. I like the color. So we hope that you guys will support it. Again, Martini and I. That's a great picture, too. And so make sure you guys go and check that out. Our show is trending.com.
Starting point is 00:59:15 All right, let's get to these questions. We got some, and we're going to do it. Noah Lawson. I missed the best and worst series that you did with Ellis for Shmo's. No, will it ever become available on YouTube again? Certainly possible, maybe more so for Patreon and members. What was it? It was just we did this thing with best and worst where we would take an actor or an actress
Starting point is 00:59:33 and we'd say what Ellis's best was, what my best was, what his worst. Yeah, we used to do that. We did that every week. It was pretty good. It was fun. We had fun with him. Mike Joyce, Mike, who do you play at Hollywood Horror Nights this year? I'm in the purge dangerous waters
Starting point is 00:59:52 Oh nice okay All right so I see this one And this is the thing This is why I don't do Shmowdown anymore Honestly I don't do this stuff anymore I was trying to the whole thing I'm not I'm not This is why you don't do Shmowdown anymore
Starting point is 01:00:05 Yeah this is why No not you don't know what I'm about to say I do we do It's one of the reasons right I for sure know what you're about it's one of the many reasons So let let me let me do this You guys want to be a part of this. I will talk about this real quick.
Starting point is 01:00:20 And then I'm not going to talk about it anymore because as nothing to do with it. There you go. Yeah, there's nothing to do with me. I'm going to bring it up. And let's bring it up here. All right, Jaybert, did you guys see the Indy Snyder situation? Respectfully to you, Christian, I hope Jeff isn't going to be anishment on term. So here's what I'm going to say about it overall.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Okay. And then we're going to move on. So I thought that the overall tweets, I thought they were shitty. I thought they were irresponsible. I thought they were unprofessional. I thought honestly they were beneath him as a journalist in general. I think that they crossed the line. I think that he should have apologized immediately to Indy and her team
Starting point is 01:00:52 instead of doubling down and then just stayed the fuck off social media. That's my thoughts on it. All right, moving on. W for Geek Loadstars, 10 Jules, win. I don't feel like you answered the question. Mike Joyce, YouTuber Leah Shukteva ate a whole burrito in 30.75 seconds, beat previous role record of 31.47. What food do you feel like you eat faster?
Starting point is 01:01:17 I saw that chick. I saw she was gobbling. She was like, what qualifies as a burrito? Because don't you feel like, like if you just did beans, rice and cheese in a whatever, you could eat that pretty fucking fat.
Starting point is 01:01:31 It was a, Roxy, go like this. Roxy, put your both your hands together and go like this, Roxy, and then go to eat it like this, but wider. Make it thicker.
Starting point is 01:01:44 I don't get exactly what it is. So you show me. So I had it like this, Rox. And she was going like this. So now you try that, Roxy. Let me, and I'll tell you if it was as big as the one she had. But do you get what I'm saying? Like, how can this go?
Starting point is 01:01:59 You didn't yes and me. Wow, Roxy. I did. I did. You didn't yes and bullshit. I gave the people what they wanted. No, you didn't. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:08 I saw this chick take this thing. I'll tell you, I'll tell you what. I, um, I destroyed. I don't ever. really eat McDonald's anymore, right? We were on the road, and I ate three of those regular cheeseburgers within seconds.
Starting point is 01:02:28 McDonald's? Yeah, fired those down. Okay, tough guy. You want to a fucking round of applause for three McDonald's cheeseburgers? No dick bag and balls and nuts. What they asked right now was what food do you feel like you eat faster than the most people? I ate those three things. Did you see Mike suck? a burrito on air because you were so involved in the chat you missed the conversation no i saw what he's talking about no no no no no no no no right no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no
Starting point is 01:02:59 no no all right what like what okay what food can i eat okay so you ate three cheeseburgers you want okay what about you rock what can eat faster than most people vodka that eat eat yeah all right listen let's finish Hold on. Let me answer this. I'm going to answer this question. Hold on. Go away. Did you know. Did you know? I'm going to answer the question. Did you know Harloff that I was a contest and I got like third place in the Coney Island Nathan's hot dog eating contest? I did not know that. Is that true? 37 of them. 37. Is that true? 37 of them, man. I don't know. What do you mean? I was, I did the Nathan's Coney Island hot dog contest. Is there footage? Is there footage of that?
Starting point is 01:03:45 How old were you? You haven't seen the, you haven't seen the, you haven't seen the last week where I almost. joke on it? No. How old were you? PLD, what are you doing? 28. PLD is PLD is just rapidly in a sweat looking for it. He's like it's like the scene in airplane when the
Starting point is 01:04:03 sweats is coming down. He's just typing, looking for the footage now. Oh, my answer is oysters. I can suck back oysters. Like, I mean, it's so, I could do a dozen in a minute. I don't know if there's anything I could really eat. What year is that from? I don't remember.
Starting point is 01:04:25 He said he was 28 years old. It was in the 30s. 40s in the 2000s. I don't know. Can I eat faster than anyone? Grapes. I can eat grapes so fast, too. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:42 I don't know. I don't get much thought. I don't like to enjoy my food. All right, fair enough. All right, let's see. Next, next one. And let's go to Jalen Turner. Just started shrinking.
Starting point is 01:04:57 Wow, I'm loving it. Harrison Ford's amazing. Season one is the best. Fuck yeah, I'll have some pancakes. My favorite lines ever. I know you love that line. I love that line. Do you think season one is the best?
Starting point is 01:05:06 I think every season is. I have not watched season two. So I don't, so I can't. I want to, I'm just going to binge it one day. That's what I did for season one. I'm just going to binge it. Yeah. Mike,
Starting point is 01:05:16 you haven't watched that? No, I haven't. Oh, man, I feel like that's, especially season one. Sure. Okay. Let's see. Next one after that. Advit Sharma 1.
Starting point is 01:05:30 Marvel, great movies, DC, great shows. What is it? Great movies. Marvel is great movies. Marvel had some great TV shows, too. Marvel had some great TV shows and DC's got some. It's, you know, it's. You only has one show right now, though.
Starting point is 01:05:45 You can't really. I mean, if you've got to combine, like, I know what you're saying. I know what you're saying. I know you're saying. Yeah. I don't know, man. I just...
Starting point is 01:05:52 Maybe they mean in general, like, Watchmen, Lantern. Yeah, I think, you know what is, Rocks? I think that, I think the fact that there's just so many different regimes have held the DC ones, as opposed to Marvel has been the same regime holding it. Minus, I guess, ProMutter at one point, it's switched over. But for the most part, it's been the same regime running all the Marvel stuff. It's been different regimes running the DC ones. Yeah, I think, okay, name the best Marvel TV show of all time.
Starting point is 01:06:15 What is it to you, Daredevil? Best, the best... I'd say Netflix one? Yeah. No, no, I didn't. Netflix. It's a Marvel show of all time. Oh.
Starting point is 01:06:25 I mean. I like the Netflix, Marvel, the Daredevil from Netflix. Okay. That was the best. And what do you think is the best DC show of all time? Penguins up there. Do I? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:36 I'm going to say, I know it's recency bias, but lanterns is over penguins. Unless they drop, unless they drop the ball and the last four, it's going to be lanterns. I would go penguin so far, but I mean, I. And would you say penguin over Daredeon? that like I just am curious if you guys think the best and best I yes that's so hard to say because Ron I didn't care for penguin wow I liked it I liked it but again I you guys know me I'm not like the bad guys aren't my thing like I like my superhero shows to be about super like and I get it I get it I love I love penguin that was great um yeah you're big mom to save it's better yeah
Starting point is 01:07:14 I mean but this is a mob element to Daredevil as well I just Daredevil has more seasons to compare it to and has a longer narrative. So it's harder to answer it. Because it's always hard for me to answer that question when people say like, what do you like better? This series only have one season to this season that have three to four. People have asked me that before. I don't have to do that.
Starting point is 01:07:37 All right, let's see. Roxy has an orange ring light. Thank you, Nathan, Tray. I actually don't. No, just not. Go pal. I do get why you think that. Source you run it has been campaigning to be a bond Dylan. Maybe she already knows her husband is the next 007. Isn't that her husband, the one that we were talking about? He's married to Sir Sharonan.
Starting point is 01:07:57 She's married to somebody. Really? I thought so once you, you, let's do. Excellent, excellent, excellent reporting. Right? She married to somebody. Married to somebody. That's right.
Starting point is 01:08:10 That's right. They got married two years ago. Wow, I had no idea they were together. It was right. You have offended me for the very last time, Mr. Cook. that's very cool i had no i had quite literally no idea all right let's see um next one patrick sweeney as a bond girl
Starting point is 01:08:30 no probably not and michael that's that's that's right up to jesus richards she's not the that's my favorite answer you're given so far I don't know like who the bond girls are what makes like bond girls there's there's an exoticness.
Starting point is 01:08:51 There's a, there's a mystery to them. She's very, you know, I'd see her out there with me eating hot dogs at a hot dog eating contest and, you know, got her knockers out there. Like, like Issa Gonzalez. What an answer. Oh, Isa Gonzalez? Oh, yeah. Chef's kiss.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Of course, that's a Bond girl. Are you kidding me? Oh, my God. Who are the, like, famous Bond girls? Ursula Andrews. I'll tell you, one that came a little bit late. later, but she would have been great earlier. It was Monica Balucci.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Like, that is a blonde girl to me. Monica Balucci. But she was much older. I'm not told. It's 50s, but still, beautiful, beautiful. Next one. Ron H. Chasing Rocha, Kevin Smith's next film. Yep.
Starting point is 01:09:38 Listen, 47 so far. Nathan Drake. Are you going on? I don't think they're doing it right now. Bobby. Christian, since Sam likes Pedro Bascall, will you be doing a last of us? reaction with her. I mean, look, for the next season, um,
Starting point is 01:09:55 the next season when it comes out, I'll probably watch one and two with her. Yeah, whenever the next season comes out, whenever that is. I don't know, which, Roxy, you know when the next season that's coming out? No, I haven't started to look. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I'll watch that with Sam. Let's see. Screenbytes. Thank you, screen bites. So, in 2027. Okay. Ray Damagis, what did y'all think of the Lanners episode? I enjoyed it. So Sam's coming in today. We're going to watch it.
Starting point is 01:10:20 I didn't see it yet. I didn't see it yet. Don't spoil it. Oh, God. He's, that show is so damn good. Like, said curiosity, when you said he's, who were you talking about?
Starting point is 01:10:31 Me? What? You just go, he's, who were you talking about? Me? Yeah. Harlov. No, no, Mike, I'm talking.
Starting point is 01:10:39 You just said that show, he is so, oh, Cal Chandler. Like, he is, his, like, and again,
Starting point is 01:10:48 And like, here's the thing. Locking both of them. Oh, no, there, I knew Pierre when, after seeing Rebel Ridge, and I hate doing fancasting, but when I saw Rebel Ridge, I was like, wow, man, he's, he was John Stewart, this guy. But like, like, watching them in interviews together. Here's my couple thoughts. I don't know how the series ends. I have a thought.
Starting point is 01:11:08 If- The season or the series? The season. I don't know how it ends. So if Kyle Chandler is, in fact, dead, I think, this is such a disservice and they need to do some kind of, I have some ideas where I want the show to go if he is dead. Their chemistry.
Starting point is 01:11:27 And again, this is not something they would have known until they got on set. Like they couldn't cast these two guys and go, they're going to be great together. They found that out when they were working together. They're so good. And Kyle Chandler, here's a lot of people, and I'll just say this real quick, they're like, oh, he's not held Jordan, he's not held Jordan. Because he's, you know, different. And I say to people, it's like, give me a story from the comics where Hal Jordan is 60 years old, been a lantern for 40 years, never was parallax.
Starting point is 01:11:57 And I'll go, okay, I agree. This is not the Hal Jordan from the comics. This version of him later in his life has never been told yet. So to say it's not Hal Jordan is a falsity because it's not, we're just seeing a version of him we haven't seen before. And I think he is knocking it out of the park. And I think if he is dead and they go with another. season of lanterns. I think I want John to be the lantern in the current DCU and have him in the movies and stuff. And then for the series, go back and tell Sinestro and Jordan's story together
Starting point is 01:12:31 and kind of do set it in the past. I think that would be that would be great for the fans. I think. Yeah. Well, I'm going, we're going to watch it today. The third one. I'm, I'm, uh, third. Why are you so behind? Fourth. Fourth, sorry, fourth. Oh, fourth one. I saw, we watched the third one last last, last week, because, uh, well, I did have the screener for it. We just couldn't record it. And then I went out of town. So I just couldn't do it. Do you like a Roxy?
Starting point is 01:12:55 I'm obsessed with the show. I think it's perfect. It's really good. The actor who plays Sinestro. Oh, sorry, leave it, leave it be,
Starting point is 01:13:02 leave it be. Oh, because he was only in it for two seconds, the episode I saw, so he clearly had more to do this. Oh, yeah,
Starting point is 01:13:07 yeah, don't spoil it for him. He's got it. I'm not spoiling. I said that after the episode that you saw. I just think he's so, like, he's such a presence.
Starting point is 01:13:15 All right. He did have a presence in that scene. Johnny Petrie's, Don't edit it. Leave it as it is. I'm with Mike. That's for the, well, Kevin already to Roxy. But let me tell you what. That's the wrong advice. This is what happens when people are like, I don't like change. This is Christian's entire argument with AI. You know, like you either adapt and evolve, even if you get passed by or you get passed by. And unfortunately, like, social media is a numbers game. You don't just want to put out the content you like.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Yeah, Roxy wasn't advocating for it. She was just, just telling you how it works. Yeah, no, I got it. I got it. Totally. I fucking can't stand it. I got what you were saying. Oh, Rox, I understand you and the reason to do that. I 100% do. I'm not saying, I get it. And I think that's why I, luckily, I don't need, I don't chase the need. I'm not into that thing. Yeah, that's not my thing. But for Christian, who is about to be fundraising an entire show based on getting more eyes and ears, that's how. That's a way to do it. No, it's 100%. And by the way, Kevin, just for the audience to know, because Smets and I have an amazing, I love him.
Starting point is 01:14:25 He loves me. He loves everybody on the show, but we have a great relationship. He hates me. He does. During the show, texted, I'm not mad at that, making edit right now. Thanks for rocks or whatever. So I knew. He would never care.
Starting point is 01:14:37 No, no, no. He, Kevin can edit circles around me. He's, he can edit a movie. Smets can ever be a show. I can only do one thing. And it's get views on social media. It's true. All right. Let's see. Moving on to the next one. Again, we've got 50 so far. Pretty good. Billy Yankee, support for grouchy Mike. Yeah, there you go. Thank you. Thank you. And Nathan Drake,
Starting point is 01:15:01 Hal is my favorite part of lanterns right now. You see his avatar, by the way, right? It's amazing. Oh, yeah, of course I see it. Oh, good. Bobby. Have any of you watched Eden Lake with Kelly Riley? Raleke would have a new appreciation for acting and also make for a good reaction. I don't know what that is. Rossi, you know what that is? I don't know what that is. You know who Kelly Riley is with the me and Roke of debate. Yes, that's from, yeah, that's from, uh, there's,
Starting point is 01:15:24 I've never heard that. I wonder if it's not a US show just because Kelly Riley. Let me look it up. All right. So PLD says he's got something for us, but he's not, he's not confident. He wants us to know that going into this.
Starting point is 01:15:37 Oh, he doesn't like some movie. Hold on a second. I want to make sure that this, is it in there or it's not in there yet, PILD. Oh, no, no, no. you're just saying you have something. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:15:45 Never mind. You tell me when you, when you have it. It's Michael Fastbender. It's Kelly Riley. It's a movie. Oh, Jack O'Connell. Is it new? No, 2008.
Starting point is 01:15:53 Oh, okay. So, all right. So maybe it'll make him appreciate it. Ray, pro tip for up and coming music producers. Modern cars are pretty soundproof and are a great place to record vocals if you're on a tight budget. That's a really cool tip. Yeah. Bill tip.
Starting point is 01:16:08 Thank you so much. You know, Ray, more and more people are producing their podcasts in their cars. Is that true? Reason. Yeah. Wow. Interesting. Why?
Starting point is 01:16:18 Because what do you just said? Because they're soundproof? Yeah. Maddie B. I've always said hairy chest, Roxy. There you go. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:16:25 I think I went from Harry Chess when I was younger to forgot to get dressed when I was older. You know, as a clipout, though, no one would know what that means. Gee,
Starting point is 01:16:36 can I old man rant here for a second? Yeah. Can I old man rant here for a second? In a moment. I'll tell you when you can go. Go ahead. Why? Rox, you probably can answer this better than Harlov, Ken.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Oh, thank you. At what point did we as a society reach this point where every single person, no matter what they do, wants everybody to see their lives? Shut up, man. I ain't going no will. Like, hey guys, I'm a scarecter with Universal Studios Hollywood, and I'm going to show you my day getting ready. Got to pack my long johns because it's going to be rainy out here.
Starting point is 01:17:14 And I've got my protein bars because I won't have time for break. Here I am zipping up my suitcase. Follow me into work now, everybody. Hey, guys, look at me. I just tried Chick-fil-A's new waffle sandwich. I'm in my car. This thing looks delicious. Let me eat this. Oh, God, I'm getting syrup all over me. That thing is spicy. What are we fucking doing? What are we doing in life? I have an answer. Fuck. Here's the thing, people. Not everyone is exciting in life. Some people in this life are meant to be charismatic and out there and on camera. lot of times people just because you got a phone you're not fucking charismatic we don't need to see your life i think it started when it became a financially viable career path that's 100% right
Starting point is 01:18:00 and it's it's the it's the need that people people always wanted to be celebrities or the camera on them they never knew the access how can i get the camera on me then they created these and then they there's a reason that my charisma but you're right mike that not everybody can do that and now people think they can because they have access to it. But that is when it started when people saw, maybe I don't need to dig ditches. Maybe I could go and eat a sandwich and people would, and I would make money off of that. And that aspiration, that dream, I understand why 80% of Gen Z believes that they'll one day be famous. Like, that's a real stat that they, that that's the percentage of people in the generation below me.
Starting point is 01:18:47 I think that they could be famous because they've seen it happen. And also, as you know with actors, Mike, like sometimes and obviously so do you, Christian, you ever see an actor on camera who's the most charismatic person ever? And then you go to interview them and they're like done. Like you couldn't grab a- Do you ever see noises off, Mike? The play? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:08 Yeah. Remember the blonde that when she's on, she's on, she's on. And then once it goes off, she's like just dead in the eyes. It's like that's like that's like that. It's, it's, okay, I know, and I'm just going to say this real quick, because we're on the topic. I'm just in the chat. Someone who put in, has Mike thought that people may feel the same way about him too? I don't care because I don't do these videos.
Starting point is 01:19:27 I'm an actor. I audition as a character and I show up on a show as a character. I'm not out there trying to do this shit. Like, it's not, it's, it is so, like, I'm trying to. I'm too over this shit. Roxy, you can answer this. So here, Roxy, this will be to. you and I see this a lot nowadays.
Starting point is 01:19:48 And I want to get your opinion on this because it's tying into what we're doing here. How is your thoughts on actors where they're like, here's my audition, here's the booking. I just did that. So obviously I feel okay about it. All right. Hold on. Let's see this. Roxy.
Starting point is 01:20:04 Be able to rest back the dog stuffing title swallowed up. That's not, I am. Why don't you like that? That's not him. It looks like. Roxy, we as actors. I love that you just like shooing off as these. It's like brushing past like cobwebs to get to your point.
Starting point is 01:20:20 The one thing, Rocks, I do understand is like, hey, I didn't book the role. I'm really proud of this audition. I think this was great. But we're actors. We are creating an illusion. That is breaking the illusion. We're like, when people see us on screen, that's not who us. We are working as part of a whole thing to create this illusion.
Starting point is 01:20:39 But you're like, here's my audition. Here's my scene. And this is me booking it. So there's no illusion anymore. So you don't like it. I totally see what you're saying. However, for me, I love watching people who do that because I like take notes. Oh, okay, that's what they were looking for.
Starting point is 01:20:53 First of all, a lot of times when I'm looking at those, I've auditioned for that role. So I'm like, okay, who booked that? Like, and how did they? And then I'll see it. I'm like, because my algorithm, I guess, knows what things I'm just. So I think that's cool. And I do think it's really cool to also see how things change and like what gets tweaked on set. To me, it's like watching BTS footage of like,
Starting point is 01:21:16 why you would get the blue ray extras because I want to see what's going on. I love, I watch every one of those. So I understand what you're saying, but I'll watch the episode and go, okay, what did that actor do that got him the role? When the finished product is on the screen, what did they do?
Starting point is 01:21:32 Britt Lowries for Severance audition? No. Oh, I think I actually saw that for it. It's unbelievable. Oh, yeah, yeah, we just walked through the front door, right? Like, no, yeah, yeah. No, he's calling down the door. DC,
Starting point is 01:21:45 DC put out Cornswett's Superman audition. Cornswit didn't put it out. Like, it's a different thing. And again, this is a generation thing probably. I just, I'm, we're actors creating an illusion for people. I hear what you're saying. The one that I did it for, I asked permission from the producer
Starting point is 01:22:03 if I could put it out. And again, this could be a generation thing. I do think it is weird to put something out if, if you're not like, because we're not allowed to go sides or auditions or anything like that. Yeah, it's like, I'll point I'm sure we'll get another rant soon and I appreciate it. So, next one. I hear what you're saying, though, Mike.
Starting point is 01:22:22 Gas posts 89, 250, you'll sex. Well, thank you. Scott B. 236, who's been on for a while. Roxy isn't in trending. She should be. She definitely needs to manage your socials. It seems insanely valuable to say.
Starting point is 01:22:35 Roxy and I have been, we're having conversations. We're talking about things. A lot of different things. I wrote this. I'm sure you did. I wrote this. I am Scott. That's your soon.
Starting point is 01:22:44 That's your soon. him. Scott, Scotty, I'm going to start calling you, Scott. He's taking away furiously during a mic rant. How do I do it? How do I catfish him into this? The Lil Yankee support to for Roxy's masterclass on social media. Yeah. Are you doing that one too? Are you doing one? No, no. I think he's just saying. Oh, because I'm doing one for the Kickstarter. I'm going to do one afterwards, too. You're doing a master class on social media? For YouTube. Oh, for YouTube. We're going to offer it on. I was going to say, I think you need a little. I think you need a little. I think you need a
Starting point is 01:23:15 Social media, probably, yeah, it'll help. Ron H. You've gotten, like, really good, though, Christian. I mean, you've changed completely on social media from, like the way you were posting. You have to. You have to. Otherwise, you just, like you said, you get passed by. Ron H. Godzilla minus zero trailer, Fook and Fire.
Starting point is 01:23:28 Let's go. I, you know, I saw Ed send it to me. I'm not watching it because I'm just going to go see it in the theater when it comes out. Luca is my favorite director. It says, Fasia Bruta. That makes sense. He's really good. He's really good.
Starting point is 01:23:41 Dilda Pickle. I can't catch the show live, but I wanted to pop in support Roxy and Mike. I love seeing the followers grow on the Kickstarter. If you haven't followed yet, what are you doing? Come on, man. It's free, trending. Come on, man. I mean, I would like to see for everybody who's in, I'm probably do the same thing that I've been doing.
Starting point is 01:23:53 I have time to do it today. Again, we've had like these super long shows after we let Mike and Roxy go. I'll stick around and you guys have questions about the Kickstarter, about the campaign in general. One of the things that I mentioned in the beginning of the show, if you did not see this already, we have been aiming for, you know, once you get to, I think I can't remember what the number is, like 25 to, 30% normally when you launch. If you hit that number on day one or day two, Kickstarter will feature you on the projects that we love page.
Starting point is 01:24:22 And that's kind of what people will strive for. We've been blessed. Oh, there it is, but we have been blessed that we're already on the projects we love page because you guys have been hitting that button. Please keep hitting it. We want to try to get to at least 5,000.
Starting point is 01:24:35 We're going to start doing more of these reveals. We have other things coming out. But I really hope that you guys click that button. And I currently, We are at 2,161. I would love to hit 2,200 before the time that we end the show today. If that is possible, please consider it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:57 Next one. Jacob, Matthew Casey, has Christian heard fake Arnie singing a thousand miles? No, is that something? Is that like, there's so many different fake Arnie things too much. It's funny that, he's not buddy of mine, my and buddy Fred, who I go to the Yankee games with often. He wrote me and he goes, Well, Saso has the best
Starting point is 01:25:18 Arnold of all time. I said he's at the best Jesse Ventory. He doesn't have the best Arnold. He's a lot of best Will Sassel. He's one of the great out there. Which one is his? Will Sassau? Oh, Will Sassau, yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:30 Who's the guy he does the host with these other guys? He's got to the sounds like arms of the giant. Oh, that's a, that you just seen the clips from Chris Van Blyte's thing. That's, oh my God. Help me out, Pieldy, the comedian, who I really like. He's got my voice to talk. Dan Motor? What's the hell is his name?
Starting point is 01:25:48 He's great too. That guy's good too. Oh my God. He's driving me nuts. The hell's his name? Talks like this. Oh, my God. He does the Andre.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Oh, yeah. He sounds like Andre the giant real life. He sounds like I'm, it's, I can't remember. They're going to tell me in a second. Dan Soder. I'm close. Okay.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Yeah, that guy. He's really funny. That guy's funny. He's really, really good. But no, the best Arnold. No one touches him. He's called into this show. He is the best.
Starting point is 01:26:14 is Joe Goddette. There's no one that beats him. It was Joe what? Goddette. I don't know how that's... Joe Goddette is the best. And so I had him call in one day. People can even believe it. Come on. Sos's good.
Starting point is 01:26:28 But Goddette's... And Sassau's really good, by the way. Have you seen Sassos Arnold Schwarzenegger driving in parking garages as Schwarzenegger? No. Oh, my God. He's in his car. Oh, my God. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:40 Oh, God. Let's see, Nathan. Paul Rudd is seven years older now than Brimley and Cacoon. That's crazy. Crazy. Scottie B. He's Roxy again. Mike, I'm 100% with you.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Punchline up front is crazy to me. Between AI and three second attention span, future generation's brain development is completely effed. Yeah, this was to throw you guys off the scent. That's right. Go against your take. Yeah, exactly. This fucking generation sucks ass.
Starting point is 01:27:07 The thing at the beginning and then the whole... Yeah. The whole... Yeah. So, hey, guys. let's give you the punchline to the fucking joke and then make you sit through the joke fuck off
Starting point is 01:27:17 how about we give people an attention span fuck off you Mike I love grouch you Mike I love grots on the here's the joke wait now sit through the punch line here's the punch line now sit through the setup of the joke the fact the fact that that's what you decided
Starting point is 01:27:34 is fucking in the shitter this fucking this fucking generation sucks ass I love that he put it twice Put it in the beginning and put it at the end. And that's what you're supposed to do. So now here's the thing. You got to change grudge to grouchy.
Starting point is 01:27:49 And then you've got to use asterix and bleep out some of the swears. He did, he did an edited version. Why grudge to grouchy, rocks? Because you said, he said grouchy and it says grudge. And people won't know what it said. But that was a very fast edit. That was Luke. That was Luke.
Starting point is 01:28:06 Oh. It was Luke. Luke did an edited one with beeps. Oh, yeah, brother. I can do macho man. Those two guys, they're machin man. The two of them together, oh, my God. He can, he can, he can, it's like, you do it long.
Starting point is 01:28:24 He gets it down here. Oh, yeah, you got to get just about deeper right here. And I, and you do that too long, it'll crush your voice. He does it, no problem at all. I can only do it for a little bit. So, embarrassingly enough when that super chat came in before, I was like, what's cocoon? So I've been, so I looked it up. I looked it up.
Starting point is 01:28:46 I don't, I've never heard of this. This is a Ron Howard movie. Yeah, 85. Yeah, it's, you, you would actually really like you. You like old people stuff. Yeah, I do. Yeah, it's, it's good. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:57 Next one is foam finger. Thank you, Dawn. Really appreciate that. Johnny Patrice, RIP to X AEW star, Andy the Butcher Williams. You know, I heard about this over the weekend. I wasn't as familiar with Annie Williams, but I saw that a lot of people were tweeting out about it and really sad to see. I saw Cody.
Starting point is 01:29:12 What happened? I don't know. I don't know. I know that he kind of collapsed at an event or something. I don't know what it was. Yeah. Okay. Chris Jones.
Starting point is 01:29:20 What's up? Chris? Assume you like the new promo poster I did for trending, which I tagged you on, IG. I think Roxy would approve from the social point. Yeah. The one you pulled up.
Starting point is 01:29:30 That was the one. There it is great. That's the one again. There it is. So it's the one that you put up that I said is great. That's the one right now. You know what I like about that? What do you like about it, Mike?
Starting point is 01:29:39 No way I. And I can tell. Oh, It looks great. It looks like a guy did it with his fucking hands. Yeah. Digitally, of course, but still. Yeah, it was great, Chris.
Starting point is 01:29:49 Thank you so much. A.K. Dardy, if you watched One Piece yet after winning last time. Good point. You did win last time. Oh, I didn't know. Good point. I didn't know it on the table, but I'd be happy to. You did say, you did say every time you win, you'll do it.
Starting point is 01:30:05 Yeah, yeah. I just didn't know. When did I win? Yeah, just remind me when I win. It was a while ago. Well, two weeks ago, yeah. Two weeks ago. Okay, I'll watch another episode. And then if we win this week, I'll watch two.
Starting point is 01:30:17 Yep. Well, 62 so far, you're doing pretty good. He says no comment. If Mickey heard the word lesbian water sports, he knows it's not polo. He knows it's not Marco Polo. It's all over my face, granny style of fancy that you hit rocks bottom and still weren't being. What the fuck? This has got a raw age, right?
Starting point is 01:30:32 You can stroke? Jesus Christ. This seems like a Ron Age thing to me. Do we have a new guy? We have a new guy in here? Who is this? Ron H is fucking us over. We have a lot, we have a lot of Gary Bucci's in here.
Starting point is 01:30:46 And Ron H is like the king of him. But he says no comment is looking to take the title. Yellow is 20 or above. No, not 10 or above, 10 or above. Oh, it's 10 or above? Yeah. Because the nine is a euro. What is the euro to the dollar right now?
Starting point is 01:31:00 Okay. No, that's good, Colin. What's up, Colin? Colin Crowden. Could the costumes comment, what's that? Could the costumes comment mean she's playing a maxima alien, Alas that reveals herself as Diana later in the movie. Alias!
Starting point is 01:31:13 Alias! Alas! Alas! Alas! Alas! Alas! Alas! I said Alas! I said Alas! I said Alas! I'm in it. I told you. Give me a break today. I'm looping. Mike loved that one. He didn't. She's playing Maxima Alien, alias. Could the costumes comment be, she's playing Maxima, Alien? Alas! Alas! Alas! I said alas! I said alas! I said alas! You said alas! Oh, fuck off.
Starting point is 01:31:40 Alas. All right, dick and balls. Hey, how's what movie's a Harry Militone starring in lately? You've seen him in anything lately? That was a really good one. That was my favorite one. That was a good one. That was good.
Starting point is 01:31:51 All right. So anyway, hey, shit face. You know this better. Is it possible that she's playing Maxima as an alien? Can you read it again to me? Sure. Roxy, what do you think? Yeah, I definitely think that this is possible.
Starting point is 01:32:07 It wouldn't make it better to me, though, that that's like the way they're playing it off. I do think that this might be why they think of not announcing, but like, uh, kind of like you, when you're watching Spider-Man and they haven't said it's Gene Gray, but you know it's going to be Gene Gray because you know it's Gene Gray.
Starting point is 01:32:29 Right. Yeah. Yeah. All right. What do you think, Mike? I don't know. It's, it's a, it's muddy waters right now. Muddy waters. Rodney.
Starting point is 01:32:38 Uh, Labor 1550. Just want to suggest that when you reach out to people to promote the show, maybe contact Eric Striffler. I like Eric a lot. We'd love to see you do a reaction on this channel. I think he'd be more happy to help promote it. I should reach out to Eric.
Starting point is 01:32:49 I like Eric a lot. He's a really good guy. I like Eric a lot, too. The best when you. That's an old school collider live fit. You should watch it. Lonnie. Later, Bonin at the Temple.
Starting point is 01:33:02 Gonna watch. I'm sure they've done a, an adult version of that. Right. Question, who is the best actor to never play James Bond? I always thought a younger Clybe Owen should have done it. Everyone always says Idris, right? Yeah, Idris is a good choice.
Starting point is 01:33:20 Clive Owen back in the day, though, was like right after his like closer days. I'll say he missed out, he auditioned for it, but missed out with Sam Neal, I think would have been a really good bond. That's interesting. Yeah, he got pretty far. Did he? At one point, yeah. Oh, wow. His screen test is out there.
Starting point is 01:33:35 Oh, wow. You could see him and he'd be really good. Yeah, I heard that he'd be really good. Yeah, I heard that he Instagrammed it out. That's really cool. Jab Kee, I'm behind like a week on the show, but I love you guys. Thanks, Jab Kee. Can't wait to donate to our show.
Starting point is 01:33:46 Christian, we're going to make you cry like a little. Watch your mouth with how much support you're going to give. That's really kind. I mean, listen, man, we're trying. We're trying really, that's very nice to you to say. And we're hoping, like, Roxy and I were on the phone about this the other day, right? And she was asking me, and I will say, Roxy has been someone who's just been so supportive of this project and so encouraging,
Starting point is 01:34:06 just as a friend, right? And certain things like, she'll make sure to correct me. If I go, you know, if we do, she's like when you do it. Yeah. Manifesting, you know. 100%. And it's one of these things where, like, I'm talking about our goal of what we want to do in day one. And look, it's a scenario in the best case scenario.
Starting point is 01:34:30 Let's say we go, hey, we raise them. We can actually shoot a freaking series. Great. If not, we aim for the pilot. Let's say worst case scenario. We hit our goal of the goal. Well, it's not the worst case scenario, but the lowest goal is that,
Starting point is 01:34:44 let's say we just hit what we're asking for and we have to like put together a pilot with tape and straws and everything else too. Then we figure our way to do that, right? Grasping out straws. Yeah, that has almost 40,000 already when I posted that. I can't believe it. I thought those were going to do like 5,000 views.
Starting point is 01:35:01 So anyway, that's very kind of you, Jab Kay. We're going to, I can't. We have so many great things. I don't know, Roxy, if I told you one of the things that we're offering, I don't know if I mentioned it on the phone with you. I'm going to text it to you. Actually, I'll put it in the chat and we're going to announce it soon. And I think it's- People you've announced that have signed on. The person that you and I talked about the other day, you haven't announced.
Starting point is 01:35:22 I've not announced that, yeah. But just me, Freed and Martini and Craig, obviously, who's doing this. Those are ones. But I am going to write this down once you and Mike are in a conversation. so that way you can look at it. But Jabkins, very kind to you to say. I can't wait. I hope everybody's excited for it.
Starting point is 01:35:42 If everybody's not following the campaign right now, I'm going to do a refresh and see. We were at 2161. Could be the same. Let's see. 2162 right now, so we gained one since then. Hopefully we'll get to 2,200. And then we're going to star all your questions
Starting point is 01:35:57 when it comes to the pilot afterwards when we're done with these with the super chat questions. So I'll be in here and I'll do a super show like I've been doing. So let's keep going. Thank you, Jeffkin. Ray, Dominguez, Idriselba, the correct answer we're looking for is Idriselba. Fair enough. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:12 Ron H. Roxy. Mike, I'm hereby directly making you part of my Odyssey. You have to watch Hollywood. 30 minutes free on YouTube. Come on. Please, please, Freddie, please. There you go.
Starting point is 01:36:24 Are you going to do it? Ronnie, is this your show or something, buddy? Did you do this? Do you make this? Maybe. Star Wars Guide. That's Kev. The new version has been sent to PLD.
Starting point is 01:36:35 Thank you, Rock. Did you post this already? Is it already in there? Okay, it is. Play it and see if Mike hates it. I love you guys. Hopefully you'll do some Smet's games, y'all, sometimes soon. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:36:44 Here is the new version that Kevin did off of Roxy. Let's see who Roxy gets approval. Here it is. Put it. You any impressions? I do do this one thing. Can I do it? Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 01:36:57 Mommy, Daddy, get me out of you. I'm stuck inside. I can't get on. It's the one thing I can do. I've never seen that before. That's fucking crazy. It's so creepy. I used to do it when I was pregnant and people would be old.
Starting point is 01:37:09 That is awesome. Yeah, I mean, that's pretty awesome. Okay. The things that you want my little feedback or you want me to just let it ride. Kevin right now, it's like I'm not doing it anymore, so go ahead and give me. No, no, no. What else would you say? So to differentiate the end from the beginning, like instead of having you guys top and bottom,
Starting point is 01:37:30 I would just have her big at the beginning doing the thing. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, without me, without me, there. And then some kind of a title, like, you've never seen this before. Oh, right. Kevin's shaking fist, but yes, but he doesn't. Listen, these are all just like tiny things. Sure. A little thing. May or may not work. Sometimes we do, sometimes they don't. Peter Kalenko, 52-year-old Mike would be great how Jordan in lanterns, if not for Kyle Chandler.
Starting point is 01:37:54 Mike would have been awesome. I'll be a cry. You got, I got that. That's why I love him. That crotch of your old fucking man. Yeah, you would have imperfect this. Go, my God. Are you kidding me? You have a perfect. Sydney would be Dr. Christmas Jones reincarnated. Yeah. Good. Good call on that one, bud. 100%. He follows up. Was the very end of the lanterns episode was supposed to be surprised?
Starting point is 01:38:11 Don't spoil it, guys. I thought they gave it away right before the big, I don't know. It was supposed to be a surprise. I don't know. Don't know. Don't spoil it. I'm not spoiling.
Starting point is 01:38:20 I'm trying to think of what he was referencing. All right. The end of the episode is supposed to be a surprise. I thought they were to live. Just keep it going because I don't know. Yeah. I think I know what it is. Rocks.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Hayden Wilson. The gentleman season two is phenomenal. Oh, is it out. So good. Okay. So good. People like, Look, I had just recently, I think like two years ago,
Starting point is 01:38:39 watched the movie for the first time and loved it. Right now, I'm watching Lioness and the gentleman, like, back to back. Those two shows are like, Lioness. You love it, Mike? It's so great. I was on that board, that show from season one. You were on board before I was. Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 01:38:57 Yeah, that is show is. Nicole Kim is on it in that, is she? Yes, she is. Oh, is she? You want to know who else is in the show? I know that Zoe Saldana, right? Do you want to know who else is in the show? the show. Morgan Freeman. My name Morgan Freeman. I'm on the show. I just think that that's unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:39:12 Like, and so little talk about. It's Taylor Sheridan. Like he gets everybody. He can. And he can pay them all out of his back pocket and still have billions of dollars. Crazy. GX. Paula. I'm happy. Also one of the stars of the show this season. Oh, is you really? Yeah. GX. Pala. I'm happy that Lantern's Clayface is following Supergirl. Yeah. It's a good one-two punch. Yeah. Could be. Dunder Milfin. Thank you. I see Smet's in the chat. just said he loves Mike for anyone thinks that they have real life heat he always says nice things regarding Mike roxy you look radiant very nice thank you i don't look like a potato no no you it has gotten better since the beginning by the way uh my choice roxy how do you think the patriots are going to do this year wednesday night that's tomorrow i'll see you there um listen i am hopeful i'm hopeful yeah that's what i always say when people ask you for the giants yeah yeah what am i going to do we can you say yeah
Starting point is 01:40:06 Fingers crossed. Armada. Ray Gun Dancer is the next Spawn Girl. I still haven't watched that. Me neither. I want it to. I want it to. Go pal.
Starting point is 01:40:17 Eden Lake is pre-skinned Jack O'Connell. Must be one of his first roles. Jack O'Connell's great. I never watch skins. That's one of the shows that everybody tells me I need to watch. Peter Kalenko. Mike is giving Bill Burr one for his money today. Yeah, he kind of is.
Starting point is 01:40:33 Listen, Bill Burr is like top five comedian. ever for me. So I'm not mad at that. Nope. Go Mike. Mr. James Bond Tube. Mike, that's an old man rant, all right. It sure was. Good ones today. Ron H. Roxy, I went from Harry Chess when I was younger to forget to get dressed when I was older. What the F is his show? This is pure gold. That's what this is.
Starting point is 01:40:51 I don't feel like enough people are weighing in on that. I think it's because people don't know what it is. I've never heard that before my life. No. Come on. Peeljee just wrote me and said that, hold on, don't go away. PLD just wrote me and said that Smets is actually shaking his fists and not happy with the notes that he was given.
Starting point is 01:41:10 Let me tell you what? Do you think PLD knows Smet's better than I do? Apparently, apparently he's... Here's one thing that Smets and I have very much in common. Always want to be the best version of ourselves. Well, apparently Smets is pretty pissed off from that last note. Let me tell you what. I know for a fact that's not true. Okay. Maybe I made all that up.
Starting point is 01:41:30 All right, let's see. Armada. All a bunch of haters. And Smets and I just out. out here trying to do the Lord's work. I was... Armada 8.1. Back and rocks the up saying.
Starting point is 01:41:38 I used to say... The uprising Garfield movie this week. You know, I really want to see that Robin Hood movie. Because my dad the other day was talking to me about... He was watching the old Arrow Flynn one. And I saw him about this one, too. So, yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:56 I want to check that one out. Have you guys... Do you want to see... Has anybody... The uprising? I've been seeing a lot of press for this with him, but that's all. I'll see it. I like a good Robin Hood tale. Johnny, 700 are watching. We're all following a Kickstarter.
Starting point is 01:42:09 That's all we need to do. Everybody who's watching right now, hopefully you've hit that button. And again, for following it right now, you're not monetarily signing up for anything. You're just following it. And then when the tears come out, you can look at it and say, oh, well, that is, that's pretty good. I like that. I can do that. But right now, it's just following it. So please go ahead and do that. Okay.
Starting point is 01:42:36 Let's see next one. And that is Fasia Brut. What do you preferred hot dog toppings? I only get one thing each and every time. I feel like you're a ketchup only guy. No, you're a fucking mustard guy. Spicy mustard would relish. Oh.
Starting point is 01:42:51 You said you only put one thing on it. That's two. That is what you said. One particular. Oh, my. Are you stupid? I love ketchup and mustard. thin, thin.
Starting point is 01:43:03 It's better than shoving them down your goat like an imbecile with water. Relish. I can't tell you. You put water and mush it like a moron and come in last place, you stupid dick. No, it's because I had Diet Coke and that fucked me up. Oh, right. Peter Kalenko. Christian, when the pilot gets picked up, thank you.
Starting point is 01:43:19 Are you hoping for streaming YouTube or network TV? To, Roxy, when can we find your movie with Kate? The question of where, but yes. That's what I said. You said when? where we went Christian and Roxy do you think Mike spits on his burritos maybe you ever have someone spit on your burrito that's disgusting Jesus it depends on how he's eating them it's the fucking best you know like he showed us before then yeah I think he spits on him okay that's gross they get a good question you first okay
Starting point is 01:43:48 so uh listen it I've said this before Peter it it it's all about who gets it the best right like when you're if you say okay hey listen we really like what you did with let's say we let's say we get blessed we raise enough to do the series and we take the series out and a streaming network says hey we love what you do with this but we want you to change just this and this person in for season two can't do this can't do that can't do that and really the whole premises are like uh i don't know but then youtube says hey we'll do this do that give you guys money to do this three seasons and you can do it this way it just depends on what the deal is it depends on who understands it. That's the best.
Starting point is 01:44:31 If you watch that stream with Martini, it really is about making the show the way that we want to tell this story. And we have the whole thing kind of mapped out. We can't wait to tell it. We can't wait to introduce these people to you guys. And so it just depends on who gets it the best. Roxy, how about you? Where can they find the movie? If you're talking about Wildcat, the one that came out a little bit ago,
Starting point is 01:44:57 I think that it depends on what country you're in, but it's Amazon. So it's an Amazon Prime and MGM Plus release or you can rent it anywhere. And if you're talking about the shark movie I filmed with her called White, it's not, I think they just wrap production. I'll let you know where you can watch it when it comes out. Roxanne, just put in the chat. Looking. Some of the offerings, in private chat.
Starting point is 01:45:25 some of the the two two offerings that are going to be why is that your name in the chat? What? Yeah. Gur. Oh, don't worry about that. Just to just read, don't read it out loud, please.
Starting point is 01:45:38 I won't, but why is that your name? Don't worry about it. Just read what we're going to be offering to those are limited, very limited. Oh, that's really cool. Right. Both of those. Do you think that second one is real? Oh, I know it is.
Starting point is 01:45:53 I was on, I was on a, I was on a call when it was suggested. And what did he say about that? He was the one who brought it up. And were you like, why? Couldn't believe it. Ron H. My Arnold is horrible.
Starting point is 01:46:08 That's what she said. Mike is the ultimate clip machine. May you spout your nonsense. He-haw! Mike, Joyce, thank you, Ron. Mike, I'm sure you'd be interested this day in the life content, this day in the life content, if you knew Penny Barber or other stars,
Starting point is 01:46:24 like we're doing it. It's probably true, right? Would you follow her day in life? Well, you didn't read that very well. So let me say I could read it again. You want to start reading this? Mike, I'm sure you'd be interested this day in the life type content. If you knew Penny Barber or other stars, you like, we're doing it. Yeah. You know, I don't mean to know. Mike said you would never watch anybody do that. He just said most people aren't interesting. Yeah. I wouldn't do. I probably wouldn't watch anybody, Roxy, to be honest with you. I think that's a, I think that's a lie. I think I think I think she was mapping out her entire day from that LA thing that you DM'd her about.
Starting point is 01:46:56 You would watch it. I don't, but what, I don't get anything out of that. I don't need to buy yourself some socks, motion you would be. All right. Jacob.
Starting point is 01:47:04 You never liked a vlog before. Vlogs are not for you. Where would I watch the vlog? You could watch it anywhere. But if it's like, if it's like behind the scenes on set or like, no? No,
Starting point is 01:47:16 no, it's not my thing. Have you ever liked a reality show? I don't know. I hate reality television. I hate it. Like the competition show? That's different.
Starting point is 01:47:27 That's frozen. That's great. Oh, damn it. It was a good thing. You've been frozen in months. It was good, though. Like, what's it called? Like, Hell's Kitchen?
Starting point is 01:47:34 Like, I like those. But that's different. So maybe if it was like recipe, like somebody's showing you their day and like. Oh, no, Roxy. Roxy. Hold on a second. You brought up recipes.
Starting point is 01:47:44 Oh, God. Here we go. I'm making, here we go. Creamsicle cookies for summer. That's like click on. Okay. So ladies gentlemen, these creamsicle cookies, I first found my love of creamicle back. It was a summer camp I went to.
Starting point is 01:48:02 And the counselors brought out creamsicles. It was like ice cream with Sprite and some orange slices. And I just fell in love with it. So when I make these creamcicle cookies, it brings me back to the summer of 1984 during my youth. It misses Groger's School for Girls summer camp. Thanks. Fuck off. If you do a recipe, get to the goddamn recipe.
Starting point is 01:48:27 I don't give a shit about anything about your life that brought you to make those cookies. I want the fucking recipe. How dare I bring up recipes? How dare I? I want creams of cookies. Fuck no. All right. Listen.
Starting point is 01:48:41 I made Christian my protein cookies and he didn't say anything. I did. So they were really good. But you didn't send them to me. No, I made them pretty much. I know that day. When, when you came to the office? The office.
Starting point is 01:48:53 No, and you gave them to me at the pool. They were delicious. Macy liked it better than you did. I liked it a lot. I said, I don't think you're going to like it. It's like an adult. I loved it. I thought they were delicious.
Starting point is 01:49:03 She is hilarious, by the way. She was, yeah. Anyway, she's on my good side right now. My dog is on the shits. Jacob, Matthew, I'm late, but Ted Lassow is a beautiful show. Almost done with season three. Roy Kent is the best. I still have to watch that show.
Starting point is 01:49:20 Roy Kent. I don't even know who that is. Ron H. Christian cannot read. Maybe I can remind you, I.E. It's true. Fostia Brute. I'm a big Anthony Bourdain fan.
Starting point is 01:49:30 I love Tony. Everyone's running this time. Did you see it? I heard it was great. I heard it's great. Yeah. GX. Paula. Just me or does Mom Donnie look like Daredevil?
Starting point is 01:49:40 Daredevil? Do you charge of us? Wow. I don't think so, buddy. I don't think so. Ron H. Shillow Shcherbinski's orange. If you know, you know.
Starting point is 01:49:48 I don't know. Not that one. Lord Munkeh. Hollyweed, and I love Kevin. So don't get Ron pissed. Armada. Can you all do a Peter Falk impression?
Starting point is 01:49:59 If anyone's going to be able to do it, it's Mike. It's me, of course. Oh, right. Hold on, okay. I bet you you could do it. I knew it. Excuse me, there's just one more thing. You said that,
Starting point is 01:50:14 that, hold on, I'm confused. So wait a second. I'm confused here. You said that you got the car at the dealership, but if I see the car outside, that means that you didn't get the dealer.
Starting point is 01:50:27 I'm confused here. That could be me. Hold on with Ali. It's really good. You can see Michael Kane wanting to move his way in there. No. Excuse me. There's just one more thing. I actually think it's very solid. It was good.
Starting point is 01:50:43 It was really good. I like Columbo. I'd like doing good. It does always sound like you're going to say I do declare. I do declare. Yes. That's true. I wish. Michael Fastbender would have been an amazing bond. I think so. Yeah, he would have been a good one. Ray, Dominguez, you guys can start putting in the questions now about the pilot.
Starting point is 01:51:00 You don't have to be super chats and I can, and, you know, like we have been doing for the last like two weeks and I'll answer them. And then once we hit the end, you know, and Mike and Roxy needs a skedaddle again. Shout out to Roxy for doing the Lord's work. Thank you, Ray. I appreciate that. And this one is from Hector Pena. Hey, y'all. I hope you guys are having a great day. Any of you guys remember McCug,
Starting point is 01:51:21 McCugas 8-9 bit from the glider days i mean sure that was so funny i mean that was i mean that was a staple of the show it wasn't it was it was yeah it was eight nine eight nine nine that was seven eight i don't remember anymore this was that's so weird because now i'm only thinking of six seven right i know it was it was yeah it was yeah yeah nine nine that's what it was that's what it was it was nine yeah nine uh go pal thank you for that support by the way uh hector The Garfield movie has nothing to do with Robin Hood. It's a real live instant about 200 years after Robin Hood stories are set. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:51:57 I thought, wait, aren't they using Robin Hood though in the marketing now? Yeah, I thought it was Robin Hood. Oh, okay. That's going to be a kerfuffle. Never mind. Never mind. Abernathy. Roxy, would you do a 420 hangout for our show's Kickstarter?
Starting point is 01:52:13 What's a 420 hangout? A weed. Smoking grass. I know, but just doing that. I mean, I don't think we'd do it. I don't think we need to do that. It's the doc, Doc. Mike says that Kevin hates him.
Starting point is 01:52:24 Smet says he loves Mike in the chat. Mike sees when that is mentioned. Let's be honest. We all agree that Mike hates Smets. I do. I fucking hate him. Nathan Drake. Denise Richards in her prime or Sweeney?
Starting point is 01:52:39 Sweeney, because she's got those fucking knockers. Are you guys nuts? What would you say, box? I mean, are you kidding? Neither one of them are my time? Are you making? a joke. I'm sorry. What?
Starting point is 01:52:54 Do you guys forget Denise Richards? She's gorgeous. Oh, she's beautiful. She's gorgeous. They're both attractive. I'm just like, Roxy, I'll put it this way. I'll put it this way, Roxy. In the test of all tests, Starship Troopers, we got Denise Richards or Dina Meyer. I'm going Dina Meyer. Even though Denise Richards is beautiful in that movie. Huh. Okay.
Starting point is 01:53:16 All right, we got a couple. I think that's totally fair. Yeah. There's just something about Citi, there's just something about her. You love her. I just think Denise Richards is like... I probably would go Denise Richards over,
Starting point is 01:53:28 Sweeney. So beautiful. Yeah, but I'm just, I'm not trying to throw shade at Ciney Sweney. Wild things, though? I mean, come on.
Starting point is 01:53:34 Wild things. Hoof. Go pal. He's like one of the most beautiful people that's ever walked the face of the earth. Like she... I wouldn't go there. I would go there for you.
Starting point is 01:53:42 Right. Okay. Go pal. I can kind of see them in Donnie Charlie Cox thing. Really? Okay. Peter Colenko.
Starting point is 01:53:48 If they ever rebooted Columbo, Charlie Day is the only option I watch. That'd be pretty funny, actually. That'd be good. Charlie Day would be great. Johnny Petriez. Last one for now. Roxy for old.
Starting point is 01:53:58 Oh, we caught that screenshot. Nice job, Johnny. Roxy, for old time's sake, Yoda impression? Yoda impression, I do. It's better than it was. It's still bad.
Starting point is 01:54:09 Do or do not? There is no charge. Old man, Mike, Ranti will. Yeah. Stop him, I must. You're not blocked. Clearly not blocked.
Starting point is 01:54:20 You guys watch Oh, it's always sunny in Philadelphia? Obviously, except I'm two episodes behind. I don't. What's not Charlie Day? What's the other, Glenn Moorshauer or Glenn? No, Glenn Howard. Howerton?
Starting point is 01:54:36 Have you heard his CCH pounder impression? Glenn Moorshauer. I don't know. I'm just that's why I asked his name. He was on Katie show. He came into the old house. But did you hear his CCH pounder impression? It was on the show.
Starting point is 01:54:49 Yeah, I think so. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Fucking brilliant. I think it is the hands down the best show. You love it. Michael D. Mike ain't nothing about a hot dog.
Starting point is 01:55:01 Omn-nomin all the time. There you go. Okay, here you go. Ain't nothing about a hot dog. Mike, here's a question about our show. What made the director be attached to the project? And what did the producers think about it? Well, he's one of the producers, sure.
Starting point is 01:55:17 and as far as Andrew was one of the first people on board you know there was me and martini first and then he talked about it I think a little bit on his interview but he you know on because he really just responded to the script and wanted to bring it he's wanted to direct scripted and he wanted to find something in comedy that he could do and he really responded to the characters so um all right let's see is that it for now okay so that's it for now What up? Kevin's.
Starting point is 01:55:48 Which one? Kevin. Sorry, sorry, relax. You're trying to screw Kevin. Stop doing that, P-L-L-D. His Harlef hates Smith. I think it was Luke. Chat, Mike doesn't hate me, and he's my Hal Jordan.
Starting point is 01:56:01 There you go. So it's Kevin. It's so funny because Kevin's such a, like, he's such a good human being, and he's, like, so sensitive about the certain things. So he wants to make sure, like, he's telling me, man. I don't want it. It's like, you don't hate.
Starting point is 01:56:14 You're on this chat, but he's sending me, and you screen. shots of when he said, I am not, I'm an editor, I can take criticism all day. I am not shaking my fist. I appreciate the feedback. Text from Kevin. Why is Mike, why does Mike not want to hang out?
Starting point is 01:56:28 Why does Mike not want to go have coffee with me? I'll buy him a Diet Coke if he doesn't want to have coffee. I don't know. What do you say to that? That's that fucking text. John Burkhardt. I just submitted my final film. I submitted my final film today. That's sad it, Christian.
Starting point is 01:56:45 the second Saturday I knew you were fucked. Do you know, Roxy, let me tell you that I have been, like last night when I was driving back, I was, I had to do everything to make sure that my wife, like I wanted to make sure she had a good birthday, you know. That's nice. And so we drove, it's about five hours to drive there. It's two of about five and a half back with traffic. Then I wanted, there was, when we got back here, she was a place that she wanted to go. She's like, we don't have to go.
Starting point is 01:57:12 I know you're tired. I'm like, no, let's do it. I'm like, we'll go because we got home. say it over about an hour or so i was already in walking dead zombie land at this point yeah but i got back in the car and drove another half an hour to go to this place make sure we had dinner with the kids it was really nice she had a good time but i like i had mentally shut down and i went to bed last night like eight o'clock and i still woke up like and i'm still in this how does it feel then to make like a small mistake like some i did and have mike and that jump on every single single thing
Starting point is 01:57:41 he did that's that's why that's why he's in purgatory right now um because he's an Some minded. Yeah, he just wants, he just wants to. And meanwhile, I had him do, I had him do this once read it and he fucked up every word with the articles and everything. To be honest, I feel like I'm the strongest of the on-air readers, but I. Probably, yeah. But I fuck up all the time too. It's hard.
Starting point is 01:58:03 Like when you get ahead of your, yeah. Yeah. Sam. Will Andrew Freed be on a live stream again? 100%. He'll probably, I mean, during the actual stream, it's, you know, the, the, I can't do 24. hours, but I'll probably do, I think when it probably started like 9 o'clock on the 22nd. He'll, he's going to pop into that.
Starting point is 01:58:21 He'll be popping into other things. I'd like to have him on here when we do another announcements that we have. And something that you wrote to me in the private chat. Yes, that's one of the main things for sure. So yes, 100% he will be. Mr. I crap and shits. Mike likes his hot dogs like he likes his Snickers. Vaney.
Starting point is 01:58:38 I'm just kidding. Well, that's why I ate my Snickers upside down because I like to feel a big old vein. Thank you, Kevin. No. How do you eat a Snickers bar, Roxy? So funny. Am I all right? No, none.
Starting point is 01:58:54 You know what? Oh my God. It's the best. They're like, Roxy, you get the snickers like this, but then you take the wrapper from the bottom, so you're just getting the wrapper like this.
Starting point is 01:59:02 It's a boast. It's not fair, actually. It's not that I hate them as I don't like them. Oof, I love frozen ones. They used to have the peanut butter ones I really like, too. Slide them out of your fucking gag. Gollet. All right, Roxy.
Starting point is 01:59:13 Thank you. Oh, no, we have one more. Okay. Passi Bruta. I'm not a knockers guy, but I'm not against knockers. Okay. I'm not really either, to be honest. I think it's very difficult to.
Starting point is 01:59:25 Look at these knockers. I love fucking knockers. Hi. All right, bye, Roxy. Where do you find you? Can tell us? Yeah. First of all, fall two's in theaters right now.
Starting point is 01:59:41 And I'm in it. And you guys have been tweeting at me and Instagram messaging me. all that that's been very cool. So go check out Fall 2, fall to Deadpoint. And then you find me on social media at Roxie Stryor. Okay, you see you.
Starting point is 01:59:55 All right. Thank you, Roxie's got to go clearly. She's busy. She's busy. I gave you, I gave you seven extra minutes. Bonnie, Tuesday episodes needs to be
Starting point is 02:00:04 heart fukin with media feet. Mike, the clip machine. Christian and Roxy, TBD. I'm going to try and manifest this to it. Rossi, you're going to leave.
Starting point is 02:00:10 I'm busting your chops. You know, I was just looking at the, I like for the super chats. Why don't we have a show called Hardfukin? We really should. Mike, where about you? Where can I find you?
Starting point is 02:00:21 I don't fucking know. I probably not social media anymore because I'm done with it. Did you get rid of your Twitter? No. Oh, I was almost Christmas. No, I can't get rid of Twitter. It's the only social media I'm on. Oh, all right.
Starting point is 02:00:36 I like it. You know, I'm trying to be better, but it doesn't always help. All right, yeah, we'll see you next week. I'm out. And you can stick around if you want, but you don't really help. helpful on the side of it. Maybe I just need to be here to fucking watch.
Starting point is 02:00:48 All right. Thank you guys. All right. Thank you to Mike. Thank you to Roxy. We are going to continue to. We'll do a super show if you want a super show. So let's start with this. And the way I'm going to do, I'm just going to highlight.
Starting point is 02:01:02 Anything that you want to know about it as we do the push and PILD you can come in me in. I like having you on here for this portion of the show. 2166 is what we have. Try it. We'd love to hit $2,200 by the time we signed off here. today. If you're not following it, please consider it. And it would be great. Um, so let me see. Uh, okay. Oh, shitty text. Um, yeah, all right. Okay. Well, let's see. Any info in the shows, you'll be on to promote our show. One of the things I'm going to do today, Johnny, is I'm going to
Starting point is 02:01:36 make a list of the things of what I'm going to do. And then I'm going to start to kind of reach out to people and see. Um, and I got to start booking times at the things. do. I mean, I'll probably, you know, some of the, some of the old faithfuls, I'll probably go back on, and I know Matt Nost and I have been talking. I'm going to go jump on. I'll jump on their show. I like their show for sure. But there's some other things that I'm going to be looking at and seeing what I can do. So, yeah, I'll be, I'll be reaching out to some people. And if you guys have any ideas and things too, please let me know. Let's see. Please join the Discord, by the way. I've been talking, I try to give a couple of, even I gave them 10 minutes to before the show. I gave them the information first about the, the fact that we're, We're on the page for Kickstarter already. Where is that? I'm going to make sure that I have it. Again, there it is. It's right here.
Starting point is 02:02:22 We are on the projects we love because you guys are following the page. And when I did that screenshot, again, we were at 2155, and right now we're at 2166. So we jumped up, you know. So let's keep jumping up and keep hitting that button. And if you're watching on the replay, hit it. So it'll literally be the pinned comment on it. So Soul Style Jukebox. What day of the week is this 22nd of September?
Starting point is 02:02:43 Pretty sure it's Tuesday, right? Tuesday, yes. Yeah. So that'll be the day where that'll be that big live stream. We'll start with the first show on Monday, kind of like the first show before. Everything kind of gets into Crazy Town, and then Tuesday will be the first Crazy Town thing.
Starting point is 02:02:58 So, okay. And Piccolo, 96. I know music is always a topic for our show. Can I send you my Spotify playlist in case there's any songs you use of us over 700 600 licks? Whoa, 700 songs. I mean, look, here's the thing that what I would love for, you to send it. You can send it at Shmose Contact at gmail.com if you like to.
Starting point is 02:03:19 My thing is I always kind of browse through anything, and I can also, maybe I even have a few of them on there, right? But I also think it's going to be something what I've been trying to offer at one point is I'm going to offer my playlist that I've been listening to, you know. Why is your camera so clear when you're in the bubble in this, when you look like dog shit, when you're just popping in on the bottom. Maybe it looks pretty good right now. I think what happens is like it's the coming in to the stream. Yeah, it looks better. And then it comes out.
Starting point is 02:03:47 But once I'm in, I stick around. It looks better. Okay, let's see. Ioshe is the stream on launch a 12-hour stream for sure, but will you stop under the 12 hours and start another? I'm pretty sure we're probably going to do about 10, I think, close to that, you know? And then, and what I will most likely do, I mean, look, guys, I've been doing three-hour streams just talking to you guys about this.
Starting point is 02:04:10 I will probably be doing longer streams. I'll let everybody go if they're on the regular show. They want to stick around and help while they're on. They're more than happy to do it. But I'll probably just be doing longer streams in general, like throughout the weeks when we're doing this thing. So my goal is to really make this for all of us. You know, my goal is to really make sure that we can do this show together.
Starting point is 02:04:32 And that the idea that like I've been telling everybody, if we do 13,000 people put in 25 bucks out of the subscribers, that we have, we make the show. And the thing is that if I've ever made you laugh, if I've ever got you to have a conversation and if ever, any of that, that's, that's all it asks. And the beauty is Peel Day at one point, we're going to, on October 1st, my birthday, we're going to do it, we'll do a birthday stream too. There you go. Right in the middle of it. Even if you're like, ah, you know what? I don't really care about the project, but here's $25 for your birthday, you stupid asshole, no, shut up. That's fine, too. That's fine, too. It works.
Starting point is 02:05:06 Everything okay. No, I'm exhausted. People are checking up on me, see if I had a stroke. But no, I just, I can't, my, my brain is mush right now. The fact I was able, I woke, I knew that when I woke up, I woke up this morning early. It was like, because I went to bed at like eight, just crashed. Right. Eight, eight, 30, maybe. And I woke up, I said that still wasn't enough to refuel.
Starting point is 02:05:29 I'm still in a haze. I can't sleep that long anymore anyway, but when I do get that sleep is still, like, nowhere near enough. It's like, I got to catch up. I never sleep that long, but this was like, this was like, This was crucial because, like, that drive just, I was the only one driving. It takes you out of it. Yeah. It takes you out of it.
Starting point is 02:05:47 Ron H. I tried to follow the page, but gave me some weird message, but it's only going to donate when the page goes live. Maybe it's because I'm Canadian. Did you try, I mean, I don't, you know, Roxie was having a problem with it on her phone. That's right. That's right. I forgot about that. I don't know what that was, though.
Starting point is 02:06:01 Oh. Wow. So I'm not sure what just happened there, but Christian just like left, left the screen. I think he just pitched a rock. button so I'm going to hold it on the fort until he gets back on there you know why that happened hold on wait let's do there we go I don't even not cut it up I don't know how it happened also he disappeared like I guess I'm gonna have to take over anything anything anything anything uh okay smith is getting back at it at a era
Starting point is 02:06:31 yeah right I don't blame I don't blame Iosha's also saying is we did that one already okay hold on keep going so Princess also says following the Kickstarter, it's free, it helps boost the show. I'm telling you, like, if every single person here followed it, um, here's one thing that I will say, if somebody's in here, this is, this is what they don't understand. And not a lot of people are doing this, but I'm just letting you know that if you do, if you are one of these people that does this, if I post it and I say, hey guys, we have our show come in. Here's what we're excited. We have this, this, this and this. You don't have to follow. You don't have to back it, whatever it might be.
Starting point is 02:07:07 But if you write even something like, pass, I am kicking you out of this channel and you will never be back again. Why? I can, I'm not interested in it. Well, fuck yourself. It'd be not interested in somewhere else. What do I care? It's like, don't tell me, though. Pass.
Starting point is 02:07:23 You're a cool. You figured it out. He's fucking imbecile. I don't drop a juice on your porch and then I. Right. What's wrong? You can't clean up a shit? No, dick and balls.
Starting point is 02:07:34 I can't. Pass. good one you got us what an imbecile all right let's see what would it mean to you of our show is a huge success and one of the projects you like to do thank you Mike Mike's been asking some great questions by the way
Starting point is 02:07:48 I guess a lot of really good questions during these streams I mean of course this would be this would be a dream this would be the this would probably be look the Schmo's know was a major major achievement in what was going on at that time with Mark and I were able to do and be able to work with someone like Mark Ellis for as long as I did
Starting point is 02:08:06 is a very special achievement of mine, right? Shmodown also came from that, which is another one. Obviously, the biggest thing is my wife and my kids, right? That's the number one achievement of my life that I was able to do. But as far as career goes, being a regular at the comedy store and getting my name on that wall was something I remember vividly walking in. I don't know I told you this story, Pieldy. I'm sure I've told it before on air, but it was like when I first moved to L.A., I went to the comedy store and the door was open.
Starting point is 02:08:41 And I walked on to the, so there's three rooms. There's the OR, which is the room that you can see from Sunset Boulevard. There's the main room, which is the bigger room. And then there's upstairs room, which is the belly room. And then the OR was open. So no one was there. I don't know where the workers were. I know. I shouldn't have been in there.
Starting point is 02:09:00 And I stood up on that stage. And I just, I think not to remember the E True Hollywood stories? Yeah. So they did this whole thing on the comedy store and everything too. And I remember watching and more into the history of how much comedy store was what it was. And I was seeing to myself badly. I wanted to be part of the comedy store. And I got into that OR and I got on the stage.
Starting point is 02:09:21 I don't know what the hell I was thinking. But I got on the stage and I stood there. I don't know how long. It was a while. Nobody came in and told me to get out. I don't know where the hell anybody was. I mean, this is also, you know, before it kind of had the, it was way more Mickey's stinky gym back then.
Starting point is 02:09:34 And I was like, I'm standing on that stage looking at the names going, George Carlin, Robin Williams, prior. They all stood exactly where I'm standing right here. And I go, I am going to get my name on that wall. And I told myself that I just sat there and I envisioned it. And I said, going to get my name on that wall. And I guess three years later, I did. And this is similar to me where I always felt like there was a missing piece.
Starting point is 02:09:58 Right. And when it came, when it comes to this story and knowing how it just wouldn't go away. I mean, it's been, it's been, you know, evolving for 12, 13 years now. And then finally, when Martini came on board, it just flowing. So the idea that the response of what the audience has been with this and knowing, and from that one comment of that, and again, do we get a screenshot? I know we have it somewhere. Hopefully you saved it about whoever came up with our show.
Starting point is 02:10:28 I don't have ever got the screenshot, but. I think that Princess or somebody said that who actually came up with it. we can put that person's name in again because that that's what made a click in my head going right in this community like everything we built on with this community from the the movie trivia shmodown community to whatever it is it's like it's it's it's that of us going who cares what everyone says we can't do let's hold each other's arms and walk through the crowd and going let's do it because oh you only have you know 230,000 subscribers you can't do what stuckman did you can't do what someone else did you can't you won't be able to do it they won't
Starting point is 02:11:03 it's just, mathematically, it just won't work. I think, I don't want to believe you. Right. I don't want to believe you. I want to believe my, my, I want to believe that comment that came in a little while ago.
Starting point is 02:11:15 We're going to make you cry, motherfucker. We're going to do that. You know, we're going to do this. Like, I want people to also feel like they're in the room with me going, yeah,
Starting point is 02:11:24 they don't get to choose. We get to choose. And so that's, yeah, so that, that's what, that's what this success would mean to me. Because it's like,
Starting point is 02:11:33 we, it together. And look, ideally in a dream world, we wake up on day two and and everybody's going, holy shit, we're going to make this series. Right. But I'm going to, I'm going to be through the moon if we make the pilot. You know, of course. That's what we're aiming for. We're aiming to make the pilot. It's a, it's a dream scenario if we make the series. But the pilot is attainable. The pilot is what we can really all do together. So, um, okay, by the way, less than 10 away from 400 members on Discord. They've been pushing over there. join that today.
Starting point is 02:12:07 Fasia Bruta. I'm going to contribute to the Kickstarter. Dude, that's so kind. Listen, man, and I tell you what, Fossiabruta, for that number on a donation, you're going to get, I think, something you're going to be pretty happy with, because we're offering stuff that, like,
Starting point is 02:12:21 I just don't think it's been offered before. And access to things that have never, like, even when I wrote, you know, what's in there right now, right? Did you see that? Was it the first time you saw that today? No, you text them here. Oh, I texted you that. Isn't that crazy? That's phenomenal. That is. Like, that's not going to be offered anywhere.
Starting point is 02:12:35 Anywhere else. You're not going to get that kind of access. And that's going to go, that's going to go day one. That's going to go day one. Very long as. Yeah. Okay, let's see. Christian's awesome about sharing info and Discord if you find,
Starting point is 02:12:47 and you'll find lots of other channels to chat with your friends. Yeah, there's so many different things that they do there. I mean, it's really, it's really humbling, honestly, with all the different things that they have, like, you can go to, like, I go to, for me, if I go to the Discord, if you're going in there, chat with me, the two places you can find me, usually in the general or in the pilot threads. But there's tons of other threads.
Starting point is 02:13:07 There's tons of other things that's for everybody. The EV made an Ed Harris one just for me. Yeah, that's amazing. Yeah, try to get to 400. That would be great. Do it. Oh, my God, it happened again. I'm the captain now.
Starting point is 02:13:24 It's my show now. I'm going to try to have Amazon until he gets there. Okay, he's back. I don't know how this keeps happening. I don't know how it keeps happening. Like, what was that I push it? Oh, you know what was like the back arrow? I think it was like the back arrow.
Starting point is 02:13:38 Is that what it was? I don't know. It's crazy. It's kind of keep happening today. All right, I'm going to go back. I'm no longer with the captain. It's back to him. But yeah, no.
Starting point is 02:13:47 Let's see. I'm going back up. Oh, but baby. Do Luke did that? I think that might have been living. It wasn't me. Fuck off, Luke. Luke's laughing his ass off right now.
Starting point is 02:14:02 Let's see. There is it. Uh-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. I'm going more. Start a bunch. I missed a lot of this because I jumped out of the damn thing. Hold on. Let me make sure. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 02:14:16 All the way back up. The Discord is now at 391. Let's get the Discord of 400. We can do that. And let's check with the Kickstarter is at currently. And we are at 2167. Three of you guys, if you haven't done it already, come on. right let's do it
Starting point is 02:14:36 we want three you guys right now to hit this i'm going to put it in there right now our show is trending dot com three you guys can hit that button you can do that all right let's see Joe what is a perfect time to shoot the show in Los Angeles I mean ideally as Andrew mentioned
Starting point is 02:14:56 he had mentioned the end of December January I'm crossing my fingers that it would be January to me that would be a lot it'd be easier for me. I don't really want to be away from my family at the end of the year during the holidays and right before either right before the holidays or right after the holiday, like, you know, or leading up to New Year's. Ideally, I'd like to do it in January.
Starting point is 02:15:18 So, well, thank you. So Ming's son, Val, came in here and did all this when I was in L.A. And he set up the new camera. Well, Luke helped him out tremendously. looks it looks so much better it is so much better so much better right yeah um okay well let's see next one johnny petreth what did the girls think of this kick starter uh i mean they're you know they're supportive of it and they're they're they're they're hoping they've been involved in the whole my oldest read the script on very early drafts and she was the one there's a character named uh david in the
Starting point is 02:16:01 script and David, David got cut in the second, in one of these, in one of these, uh, drafts. And she's like, why did you get rid of David? And now, um, but David is back. David is bad. Yeah. Uh, okay, let's say. If there was an actor you want to cast for the pilot, but couldn't because of budget, would you recast for the series? Well, that's not really something that I think I'd be. I mean, I mean, okay. So if you had, if you, if you have somebody and they crush it, you didn't want that person, but they crush you like, ah, you know what? So-and-so is available now. I wouldn't be able to do that. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like if someone came in, like, well, we just couldn't get so-and-so.
Starting point is 02:16:36 And plus the fact, it takes away the narrative from to the audience. Like if you, if you fall in love with so-and-so in the pilot and they hit that role and then you're like, well, I got someone bigger. It's like, well, tough shit. You should have found a way to get them in the first in the first place. Absolutely. Now, I hope that I don't eat my words that that happens down the line. Someone does that. But that's not something I would love to do. Yeah. No, you know, oh, I forgot to give the news here. I had I I on the on the day that I was having a great day PLD remember with all the stuff and all the announcements I was telling you about and one of those announcements being the fact that we're getting um featured on Kickstarter or that we couldn't and now we obviously are uh at the end of the day I got the coffee machine too it was just one of those days it's like so I have a JTE when I left got me this picture of um is a I'm sure you've seen it's a Richard Dreyfus called let it ride oh yeah and and I love that movie so much and at the end of that day I went I'm having a good day it was one of those things so he actually did uh soul style jutebox so stylish chutebox excuse me really silly question from a very old man can a Kickstarter donation be made more than once this is a question that is not silly and was
Starting point is 02:17:46 asked uh to Craig and Craig will be on again to ask more of these questions when he comes in can someone possibly return a few days later to leave more money you can up your pledge So if you sign, let's say you sign on for the 25 and you're like, oh, you know what? I want to up it. You can up your pledge. So yes, you can up it. You just can't donate twice from the same again. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:18:10 Okay. All right, let's see. Keep going, keep going, keep going. Let's see. This is Princess. I have an original song premiereing right now. I thought the show would be done by now. Whoops.
Starting point is 02:18:21 Oh, no, no. I'm going to be, I'm doing super. I'm doing super shows, Princess. Yeah. That's it. Um, okay, let's say. Oh yeah, this is going to Haskell. It's true.
Starting point is 02:18:29 Thank you. If it wasn't for Ed, I wouldn't be able to promote my own stuff. Speaking of Mark, one month away from Christian Mark and Jen's live comedy show in Belmore Long Island. Limited tickets are available. I hope to see me any of you there. Yeah, Ed will be there. And if you guys are able to be there, uh, where is the picture?
Starting point is 02:18:45 There it is. So that is going to be on October 8th. The link should be in the description. Yes. All right. So go and check that out. I love to see you guys there for all my, um, New York. We got some old school shmown people coming out to that.
Starting point is 02:18:58 I got to text a few shmown people are going to be stopping. Yeah, I got it. I don't want to give it away because there's like, there's like two or three that reached out and said, they're going to try to make it to the show, which is really cool. All right. Joe, if July through October is fire season, Elliot, it's still the best time to shoot a show takes place in the summer.
Starting point is 02:19:15 Well, we're not shooting it during that time, but yes, it is for usually fire season for sure, 100%. Okay. Fasia Brute. We have to support this Kickstarter. Christian is better than everyone else. Well, that's very nice. Christian else influenced a generation of movie YouTubers.
Starting point is 02:19:28 It's very, very nice and very, very kind. And look, I hope, like I said, I hope that you want to, not only, like, that is a very kind sentiment in why you want to do that. But I hope that what Craig is building out and that what we'll be doing on storytelling and the people that we're going to have associated with it,
Starting point is 02:19:48 you guys feel like, well, this is going to be, this is going to be legit. We want to like make, we're all doing it. We're making a real show. Like, let's, let's do it. It's not like a, I love grasping. I love it. It was something that I was very happy with.
Starting point is 02:20:00 But it's a $20,000 little thing back in 2007. Right. That I didn't have the kind of team that I have now. I didn't have the kind of access that I could potentially have now with this. And I didn't have the audience that, that I have now, right? I would have loved to continue to do more stories in that world. And in a certain aspect, it's kind of a soft spinoff. But not really, but kind.
Starting point is 02:20:25 It's adjacent. It's the altairus. Yeah. Right. Mike, if you could choose, there's no choose there at all. On the bottom it is. Okay, see, I'm not too crazy.
Starting point is 02:20:36 If you could have one or a few big movie comedians to be part of our show, who would you choose and how would you approach some on our show? That's a tougher question, Mike, because like I said, when it comes to cast and everything, right, it's like, I want to be careful with, well, you know, I think it would be great as so-and-so for this role. And so-and-so says, I can't do it. And then we get someone else. I'm always the first choice.
Starting point is 02:20:57 You know what I mean? So I want to be careful. Like now, there are people that I would be honored if we were like, hey, you could get so-and-so and so-and-this, so-and-so in this, so-and-so in this. I mean, yeah. Perfect. So let's see, what else? Keep going. Okay.
Starting point is 02:21:17 Jay Morgan. Christian, I'm someone who hopes for the best plans, but plans are worse. What's the plan if the goal is in met and you don't get to self-finance? I'm going to cry in a question. corner for about a week. You know, I'll probably have somebody host the show for a week and take it's like it's it, you know, it'll be, it'll be shitty. It'll be shitty.
Starting point is 02:21:35 And, you know, I'll have to like, I'll have to get, I'll have to get inspired to get back up, but I will. But yeah, I'll have to take over the show. You don't want that guy. You don't want that. You don't want that. I mean, but it's a fair question. I mean, obviously, it's like, look, we'll know quick enough.
Starting point is 02:21:49 If it's like, okay, we're, we're people really want to see this, people want to have, I'm going to be. everywhere and I'll be on this channel a lot trying to make it happen. And I would think at this point from people where we're talking about it as much, you'd at least want to see the pilot. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, let's see what you do.
Starting point is 02:22:08 Let's see what you do. Okay, good. Put up or shut up. So this dude makes sneakers. And I want to do, see, look at that. I want to do like exclusive sneakers for the Kickstarter. So he's talking to Craig right now. Look at his Instagram page.
Starting point is 02:22:27 He makes some cool shit. He makes some cool shit. And so he reached out to me and I said, dude, talk to Craig. I would love that. Trending sneakers? Are you kidding me? I would love that.
Starting point is 02:22:37 Yoshi is one of the tears on the Kickstarter for you to make pump up volume reaction. If you want it, why not? Yeah, stop being a poser. Come on. Yeah. Look at Ed. I might be forced to sell my house earlier so I don't miss out. Hey, Ed, like I said, man, I've seen you.
Starting point is 02:22:51 I've seen you over the last couple of weeks put in like $5, $10 super jet. Save those and just put like $25. If you can, if you can't, you can't. Don't sell your house, put in $25 bucks and put it if you can't. But if you can't, you can't. I just want to be very clear. I don't want to be like, come on. You can put it in $25.
Starting point is 02:23:08 Like, I can't. I can't even eat Doritos if you do that. So fine, they don't do that. Right. Yeah. Still follow up. You can still. You can still apps.
Starting point is 02:23:15 And you do a lot, Ed, with what you do already. But if you know, but what I tell you is, oh, no, I'm not going to say that. I was going to say, but, you know, yeah, because in Jen and Elson, I was going to say, don't come to the comedy show, but don't do that. Don't do that. Star Wars Squad, that time it was me. Did you really get rid of me? I don't know what you said.
Starting point is 02:23:34 I don't think you can't. No, I did that myself. I did that myself. You done that yourself. Yeah, show a little. Show a little. Let's say, can, well, he's not, he's not in, Luke could help. Roxy's just got to take the help, but Luke can help.
Starting point is 02:23:50 Yeah. Let's see. Okay, Princess, 2167. Let's say I'm going to double check right now and see. 2167. Did we get to that 2170? 2169. One more to get to 2170. One of you guys out there right now has been holding back and saying, if you're watching this stream right now, it's all I'm talking about. Come on there, guys. Yeah, if you're not, if you're watching this and not signed up, it doesn't make sense to me. I understand the first two hours.
Starting point is 02:24:21 Okay. But this, come on. All right, Mr. I Kravagans. I wish I could contribute. But these injuries I suffer to work has me on a 1,900-month budget. But, Kristen, I'm 100% behind you and hope you have much success with the show. That is, like I said, and I'm going to tell everybody this, too, the matter what it is.
Starting point is 02:24:38 Thank you, Mr. Iker. I really appreciate it. For people, even if you're going to throw in a super chat, what I would tell people down the line, this isn't directed at you, cravengers, just for people, and just something I just wanted that I just reminded myself of. when we're doing it, it's like, okay, well, you know, I was only, I was going to put in a $5 super chat to do, to ask a question. That option will be there to put a $5 donation.
Starting point is 02:25:01 I said, don't do that. Don't, because I'm going to highlight a bunch of comments for people like, you know what? I'm going to donate here. I'm going to highlight comments. Normally what we do for the second half is because it's just hard for me to get to. I'm going to be on the air a lot. I don't have more time to get to. This is why I'm able to do this right now because two hours, you got so much time.
Starting point is 02:25:16 You got to do the news and the topics. and then an hour you get to the questions, let's highlight the Super Chess. When I'm on a little longer, it's like I can do this and have these conversations and talk to you more. So the Tuesday stream, trending is going to win the bonus that week, not anybody else. On the Tuesday stream, the 10-hour stream, trending is going to win the bonus that week, not real-cut. I mean, no, on Tuesday, I mean, well, yeah, it's going to be tough on how to do that because everybody's going to be involved on that day. I don't know how I'm going to do the bonuses that whole week because it's going to be, I'm going to have people jumping in and out. I don't know how I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 02:25:49 But that's a good, good point. I have to figure that out. I'll be here. Yes, you will. You will. Fasia Bruta, Bonaventure. You're very kind, Fasia. You're very kind.
Starting point is 02:25:59 Okay. Let's see. 2170 is, did we hit 2170? That's what they said. That's what he said. It was 2170, but I never saw it 2170. Let's see. 2169 still.
Starting point is 02:26:11 Come on, you sloppy tips. Almost. Oh, yeah, that's from today. That's from today. That one made you laugh. That would make me laugh. Is that from Mandalorian? No.
Starting point is 02:26:20 Or is that practical magic? The new, oh yeah, that's a good, that's a good announcement. Let It Ride, Required Viewing. It's a really, really good movie. Do you know, by the way, you probably don't know this. You've watched Johnny Dangerously, obviously. Of course. So you know the Fargan Ice Hole guy is actually in that movie?
Starting point is 02:26:39 Is that right? Yeah. One of the bar drunks. That's right. He really is. What was I going to say? Oh, as far as posting. this week. Because of my vacation and everything else too and shooting with Sam, things got a little
Starting point is 02:26:53 back that we did put practical magic out yesterday. Tomorrow will be lanterns. Wednesday will continue on Mandelor. Or Thursday will continue on Mandalorian, probably back to back Thursday and Friday Mandalorian episodes. And then we're going to probably finish out the week, hopefully, with Mandalorian next week and then hit Mandelorian and Grogu that by the time we get to Tuesday when we launched the live stream, we launched with the Zach Snyder Justice League. That's my goal. Okay. I'm wondering, we're going to do Justice League part one and part two. Right. So we'll probably drop part one on Tuesday, probably part two, part one on Tuesday, excuse me, part two on Wednesday or maybe vice or maybe wait till Thursday and I got to talk to
Starting point is 02:27:35 Luke about it, what he thinks the best kind of strategy is on that. But, but yeah, so there's, so there's a lot. Um, for Mandelarian probably that Monday instead. It'll be like the mandolin guru. Yeah, I don't know. That might, it could come beforehand. I don't know yet. I don't know yet but that's that's the goal Mike how did you get Greg to be part of the show well he talked about it in in when I did the stream with him and you talked about it in his video um I met him for drinks it was that whole thing when Roxy was giving me playful shit um he he gave me play roxy gave me playful shit about oh you met you met you met that whole thing when you and I was supposed to meet roxy's like oh but you met with Greg remember well Greg came out to have we just had drinks
Starting point is 02:28:12 there was no pitch or anything else too or anything we were just had plans to hang out and we're bullshitting and and then we were talking about the script and I said he has out here for this and he's like, I'd like to read it. I'm like, I didn't want to press it. He said, no, I heard it's good. I like to read it. And I was like, sure, I'll give it you. And he got back to me within like a day or two. And he's like, I'd love to be involved in this somehow.
Starting point is 02:28:33 And I was like, well, you know, we can, I think that there'd be great. I'd love to have you involved in it. And we started talking about it. Genuine dude. So like, well, he's a genuine dude. And he's really smart. And he's really funny. And he, and like, what, and this is goes to the,
Starting point is 02:28:46 question that was asked beforehand, he got, he said the right thing, which is, oh, I can see where the show goes. Right. And that to me, it's more so than just like, I mean, it's great. You get the characters and the jokes and everything too, but if you see the vision, he's like, I want to see where it goes moving forward. Right. Like, oh, you could do this. You could do that. He's like, am I overstepping by saying, I'm like, no, I love that. I want to talk about the world all day long, you know? Um, all right, let's see. Jacob. Will the pilot be posted on? line. Well, no. So this is what we said. So, Jacob, let's say that you backed the project. What the process would be after we shoot it, right? What are we going to do with it?
Starting point is 02:29:27 Like, we shoot the series. Great. What are we going to do with the series? We got to figure that out, right? We shoot the pilot. Great. What are we going to do? Where are going to go? But you backed in you're like, well, where is it? You're going to be able to see. Now, whether that's a hard copy of a Blu-ray or DVD, whatever it is, whether it's a Vemio link or whatever, you'll be able to see it. As far as you've been posted online yet, no, because we don't know the future of the show yet. We don't know the future of where it goes. What we don't want to do is post it online.
Starting point is 02:29:54 And then a streamer goes, well, we want to, we don't want to do that yet. We want to shoot the series first and then post the pilot. So, but it won't be one of those. Well, I just back this thing and I can't see it. That's not going to happen. Yeah. All right. Sal L. Great name.
Starting point is 02:30:11 Why has there never been a Sal L before? Wow. A guy from Brooklyn. Tell me this guy's from Brooklyn. You've got to be from Brooklyn. Sal Lely shows up. He shows up. He shows up on Saturdays.
Starting point is 02:30:21 Everyone, it's just overrun. It's the most, it's the most popular pizzeria in there, but they're out, but they can't, they can't figure it out. They're trying to get the special sauce. Everyone is messing around.
Starting point is 02:30:31 And then the John Williams tune just kicks in and Sal L busts open the door and just start spinning pizzas at like a, and just throwing it on the tables and stuff, 100%. If possible, I hope you'll be able to film behind the scenes content from the pilot. We'd love to see that. So, Sal, that is the whole premise of the Kickstarter,
Starting point is 02:30:49 is that when you join, you're going to be in the room with Andrew Fried. You're going to be in the room with other people involved. You're going to be able to see certain things with the evolution of the show, the behind the scenes. You're going to see the inner, from the start to the finish of how the pilot is made. That's the beauty. Like, that's what we're offering. Yeah. Mike, how did you get access? Yeah, behind the scenes kind of in-depth access, 100% people think. Mike Moodra, how did you get Craig to be part of the show, what drew him to be involved in our show? That's another one I would absolutely recommend watching his episode that he was on recently,
Starting point is 02:31:27 because we dove into that, but just to kind of rehash it a little bit. So Attack Peter is a mutual friend of ours. And so when I was going through, I went through one particular, we were trying to run this campaign in one way, it just wasn't it was getting too complicated it wasn't working the right way we just it just wasn't vibe it and i was like i just want to go back to the kickstarter aspect idea is kind of what i always envisioned it to be and we said all right let's let's do that i said well we need somebody to run and i can't run a kick starter i don't know i really how i really had to do that i've never done it before i
Starting point is 02:31:59 don't really know and so i talked to quite a few people um but um peter had said you got to talk to my guy and he ran his own campaign to this and And similar with Greg, he just got it. And he understood. And he knew, he was familiar with me. And he knew, but he told me what he did and how he was able to do it. And he's just, every person on our team says the same thing. I love Craig.
Starting point is 02:32:26 Craig's the best. Craig is the best. He's the best. And every time I get a text from Craig, I get excited because there's always good news. I love it. I love it. I haven't talked to him very much, obviously. But like just watching him, he's just so like low peak.
Starting point is 02:32:39 He could say like, the house is burned down. He's like, all right. Well, that's what you hear, do you hear what I said to him when he was on the show? I said he's like the Game of Thrones guy. Like when you go, you're like, hey, you're ready for battle. He's like, yeah, I'm ready for battle. He's like, is he ready for battle? And then when he's on battle, he's cutting heads off within seconds.
Starting point is 02:32:55 And you're like, yeah, he's ready for battle. Yeah, he's the best because he told me because we had, we had a really big piece of news that came in. And he and I were on the, and he told me about it. So I called him. Whoa. he's like hey man i go what do you mean hey man i go and and and he's he's great he's great he just he's very he's but he's very cool and yeah and chill you know um okay let's see okay let's see next one Seattle chaos what's up man I only recently started working again so I've been sending in some
Starting point is 02:33:33 super chat but waiting for the kickstart thank you man so much Seattle that's really really kind of yeah that's I want I mean that's what I want it to be to be too to I don't want it to just feel like, because I think Kickstarter has come a long way. And I was talking about this recently and I might have said it on the ear and I definitely was talking about it with a friend of mine. I don't think that Zach Braff would have caught the same shit today that he did back in 2008 or something when he ran a Kickstarter or maybe it's a little later. It might have been later.
Starting point is 02:34:00 Yeah, because it's like, because people didn't really assume because big companies run Kickstarter now. Like Skybound runs them all the time. Right? And, and like, you know. You know, it's a different way of thinking. But the reason I bring that up is that I think what I want people to realize, because back in the day it was like, oh, give me money, don't even have you.
Starting point is 02:34:20 There's still morons on Twitter that will reach out and go, oh, now you're asking for money. And it's like, I'm asking people to be a part of something and getting something in return. In the same way that when we ran the Patreon for Schmodeown, right, we want to make sure that we're providing services and things that you get out of it as well. So it's not just, well, I gave this guy $10 to make a, or $25 to make a part of his pilot, never heard anything about it, don't know what it was, just gave it to him. He took my money and ran. I said, no, I want you to be involved.
Starting point is 02:34:49 So if Seattle chaos says something like the fact that he's been working and waiting to help us with the Kickstarter, I want to make sure that he feels rewarded when he comes in. You know what I mean? Absolutely. It's like, I want him to make sure that like, so he's like, I've been waiting. I've been saving up. Okay, good. And this is what I get access to. I'm fucking down as opposed to.
Starting point is 02:35:09 All right. I've been working so hard. Here's $25. What do you got for me? And you don't hear a fucking peep from me. Just thanks for your money. That's not going to happen. Obviously,
Starting point is 02:35:18 I don't know. I don't know why I went like Bill Berther. Thanks for your money. I also give everybody permission, by the way, especially on Mondays. Definitely don't super chat then. Definitely put them. Stop it.
Starting point is 02:35:29 Stop. Okay, let's say. Especially on the day of the launch, I would think for everyone to avoid sending super chats and you use the money for 100%. That's what I will tell everybody. If anybody's going to ask, I mean, I'll, for what I'm doing, when I'm doing that stream, I'm going to highlight everybody's comments and I'll be there all day.
Starting point is 02:35:50 And I'll say, if you're going to put in a super chat, put it and put it towards the freaking kickstart for that, for that day, for the first two days, just put it there. It's like, well, you know, even people who are like, well, you know, I really don't have anything, but I put you a super chat. just you can there's going to be an option of just whatever you give two dollars throw it there if that's going to be i'm going to highlight questions all day long we actually even could do that and just like just disable them and like boom there you go put it towards kickstarter yeah maybe because i i just don't know if because it maybe somebody's like well you know i you know i can't
Starting point is 02:36:26 it's not it's not a bad idea but it's also what the problem is i don't know i got i that's not it was it would spin and like a conversation about it like why can't i super chat oh because we No, no, it's not a bad idea. Let me, let me, I'll think about it. All right, let's see. Mega, Vidman, one, two, three. If our show goes to series, would you be open to the opportunity
Starting point is 02:36:48 to be part of the writer's room to people from the community? Well, I mean, listen, one of the things that I will say, that I don't know how that works overall. I think it'll be easier to have access to try to submit. I would assume, right? I would assume that. That is a good question that again, now that when Andrew comes on again,
Starting point is 02:37:10 because the first time Andrew, well, last time Andrew was on, the majority of it was an interview to then say, hey, by the way, he's also involved in this. The next time he comes on, it's the director of trending coming on. So it'll be open for everybody to ask. You should ask questions like this. But there's also something that I posted in the chat that you guys haven't seen that we're going to offer that I think will be pretty interesting for you guys as well. When does the Howard deduct reaction drop? I know it's probably a great question. I wish I think it's going to drop during the campaign. As someone who works for Greg. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:37:46 Or we actually is scheduled to drop that day. Oh, on the 22nd. As right now, it's state of changes a lot, but that's what it is right now. Perfect. That would be great. Okay. Let's see. Next one. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. I'm looking. I'm looking. Oh, there it is. Okay. Begill Studios. Christian, your inspiration to all of us, including me. I may have been on YouTube for a while, but I just said 270 subs. It's awesome. It's not much, but what you're doing is re-insuring. That is, look, dude, tomorrow you could have 270,000 depending on what you're doing. You know, it's like, it's just about finding and not, I mean, this is so cliche to say. It really is, but it's just about not,
Starting point is 02:38:34 quitting. Do you know how many times people have told me. Even back in the Schmo's days, I used this as a good friend, a good friend told my wife, why is he doing this YouTube thing? I can't go anywhere, right? But it wasn't because she was not believing in me is because of the quote that I said that my dad said, human nature is we just doubt. We just doubt. But I've been told Schmodeau won't work as a weekly show. No one will come watch that live. No one will watch that live. Schmo down live. That fans won't care about that. You can't do that. Two comedians talking about movies will never work. You just can't people will get annoyed with the jokes. You can't do that. I've heard it a million times over. Ah, you, you're too old to try to start acting now. You can't do that.
Starting point is 02:39:21 You can't do that. You don't know what you're doing. You can't do. You can't listen to the noise. You've just got to tell yourself, do you believe in yourself? Because it's cliche, but you have to believe in yourself because if you don't believe in yourself ain't nobody else going to believe in yourself. That's really what it is. Okay. Let's see. Richard. What's not, Richard?
Starting point is 02:39:42 Looking forward to the Kickstarter. Excited to contribute. Thank you, Richard. Doctor, appreciate that. We're excited to have you part of it. And I'm excited for people to really, what I want to do is I think when we, I don't know for, I don't know how that works with Craig. I got to ask him, but I don't know if we're going to debut the tiers on the Monday before.
Starting point is 02:40:02 or Tuesday. I can't remember. I can't remember. But either way, I just want to see people's reactions when we do it. Yeah. Let's see.
Starting point is 02:40:12 Johnny, maybe Perry and Emeroff might be a good option to promote our show. I'd love to have Perry on. Perry's been, Perry knows about, as I told Perry the New York Comic Con last year,
Starting point is 02:40:20 about some of the people that are involved. So, Mike, you asked this one already, about how do we get an intro part of the show? What actors would you dream to interview? That's the second portion of it. I mean, you know,
Starting point is 02:40:31 PLD who's my number one interview? Julia Roberts. Thank you. Okay. All right, let's see. Mr. I crap and shits, an episode of trending written directed by Ron Howard can be a fever dream episode. Totally. You know who I'd actually want to do, you know who I'd love to do an episode of the series?
Starting point is 02:40:47 Eventually, you know, Gavin O'Connor. Oh, Gavin O'Connor would be great. But you just had Ron Howard. You realize you meant Ron H? I said, R. Ron Howard is where I went. Ron H. Ron H is a very different, very different episode. Very different episode.
Starting point is 02:41:03 Yeah. Gavin O'Connor would be awesome. I love that, Connor, man. Johnny, oh, sorry, I'm going to go right back to that one, Dennis. Johnny Petriza. Was Mark and Radalfold and Schmoe down? No. No. Mark was, Mark and I, we came up with the concept of the tournament together at this pizza place in Anaheim sitting together and having a talk about going over the, you know, we went very kind of March Madness with it.
Starting point is 02:41:31 And then it was popular. I remember saying, dude, I think we need to do teams this year. And he was like, that's great. Definitely do teams. And then when I said, we're going to do it weekly, he never fought me on it. And I said, I want to put a wrestling element to it and this. That's why I never understand. I still get this sometimes.
Starting point is 02:41:46 Like, oh, you know, I stopped. I start tuning out after they induced wrestling. I was like, so you stopped watching after the first few matches of season one? It's been there since season one. And season three, when it was the most popular, I mean, you had like all these, there were all the cut scenes and the managers. and the JTE, you know, behind the scenes 30 for 30. It was watching all this stuff on the press conference that we just released today.
Starting point is 02:42:07 It was all there. Yeah. Mike, movie madness. Is merch going to be available for every tier of the Kickstarter like shirts? I don't know if it's every tier, but I know it's at a starting at a particular tier going up. I'm pretty sure. Don't quote me on that, but I think. We're going over the finalized tiers tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:42:30 So now, Dennis F. So pumped for our show. What's something you've recently that surprised you? Would I've learned recently? Oh, recently watched. That surprised you. Season two of Chad Powers blew me away.
Starting point is 02:42:42 I heard that's really good. From Goofy Season 1, that was fun to a deep season 2. Maybe I should check that out. I don't know. I saw an early screener for Crystal Lake, and I was actually surprised in how cool it was.
Starting point is 02:42:54 It was cool? It was pretty cool. Linna Carlynees really well. Okay. I saw, I mean, I'll say hacks. right because not that you know really what he's talking about everybody it's like emmy award winning i just didn't know if i would respond to it right and it's really good i really like it a lot yeah uh joseph ashley
Starting point is 02:43:14 are you getting nervous the closer it gets yeah of course of course i mean that's part it almost feels like the way i would before like a big show with stand up you know it's like you get you get that thing and it's just but it's like but then it's like let's go because i want my nervousness and my excitement when you're going through it, I want you guys to do that too. I want you guys to be constantly checking and seeing where we're at. And then I want to get updates from you guys. Like we're all like, I'm not bullshit. You know what I'm saying we're all doing this together.
Starting point is 02:43:48 So it's like if I kept in tweets, guy, dude, did you just hit this? Do you know you just did that? Do you know we just did that? Holy shit, we did it. Like can you tell me it. It's going to be like the end, the special edition of Return of the Jedi when the fucking fireworks are going off in the air when we hit it in day one. And, you know, and then again, 16 person tournament comes back.
Starting point is 02:44:08 This happens. All this other shit happens. We keep. And then what do we do if we hit in day one? Then it's like, oh, shit. Look what we did on day two. Right. Day five, we just did this.
Starting point is 02:44:17 That would be great. That would be great. That's right. So, um, watch out, Guild. Here we can. Listen, that'd be amazing to be able to do that. TV, because that's movies.
Starting point is 02:44:27 But if we, if a TV show beat the movie. Yeah. Can you imagine that? What kind of story would that be? What kind of story would it be? At the very least, this is what I'm going to tell you guys. Even if you've been on the fence and saying, I don't know. Think about the story of the idea of modest following of 230,000 or whatever we have now, as opposed to like what the guild did, which I love everyone involved in the guild. I mean, Brett Sheridan is going to be in the move. Right. I love everybody involved in. I think what they did is extraordinary. and what they were able to pull off is legendary and should be, you know, admired and followed.
Starting point is 02:45:02 But imagine the story if we all decided that we beat their record. And we beat their record, a TV show. Now, again, that's overshooting. I understand that. And that's how I get. But I'm just imagine the story. It'd be pretty good. It never hurts to imagine.
Starting point is 02:45:22 No, Mike's movie madness. Have you thought about reaching out to other YouTube channels doing similar projects? Dead Meat is doing an anthology film with submitted short films. You know, the only funny thing is I've never directly responded with Dead Meat, although he did something for us for Schmodeau during the pandemic. But I think that that was set up through Skybound, I think. He did the horror match.
Starting point is 02:45:43 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Exhibition horror match. Yeah, he did something, yeah. Beagle Studios, thank you for that, Christian. I had so many of my ex-actors say, are you doing this just for a hobby? And now I say that to them. So you're right, Northern A-Series. You have to.
Starting point is 02:45:56 You have to, and you can't take it personally. That's, I mean, because look, some people will say it to dig it. That's a given, but most people aren't saying it to be dicks. It's just built in our system to go, oh, maybe you should try to do something else. Think about all the actors that did make it. And how many times, like, people were probably telling them, you can't do this, you can't do that. You're not going to know, you should try to be a doctor, try to do this. And I just use the actors as an example.
Starting point is 02:46:25 There's tons of other places. other people that try, think about it when Steve Jobs was doing what he was doing. Yeah. Right? What if you're doing? What are you doing? You're building in a garage with it. Why don't you guys go take a bath?
Starting point is 02:46:36 What are you doing? And it's like, and, you know, what if they would have, what if they would have listened? 100%. So, uh, Mike Moor's. I mean, besides Julie Roberts, who would you like to interview? Would you interviewing any MCU stars, any big movie comedians? I mean, I've interviewed quite a few comedians and MCU. If you go to my playlist, Mike on the, on the, on the,
Starting point is 02:46:56 a few means more also about the in the show oh the character oh you mean the character interviewing i mean yeah there's going to be opportunities for him to interview a lot of big stars and everything too is a great aspect of the show if the series keeps going yeah it starts from them their podcast being in the shits yeah so um okay jose would you promote the show on fat man beyond with kevin would i yeah i got to reach out to both kevin and um and mark you definitely understand oh you would for sure i'd probably reach out to I mean, well, I can reach out of both of them. I love those guys. I love those guys.
Starting point is 02:47:28 I'm a big Mark Bernardan fan. Kevin and I obviously get along very well. Yeah, I'd love to. Ryan S. Have you reached out about an interview with Dan Aykroy when he is in New York City promoting his book at the end of October? It could be a great way to connect with an OG SNL legend also for trending. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:47:43 We have any news on that yet? Not yet. I wanted to talk to you about something off air about it to say. Oh, okay. Potentially. All right. Let's see, Mike. Can you do a close friends option for Instagram for exclusive behind-the-scenes content?
Starting point is 02:47:54 certain tiers. What's that? I have no idea. That's a Roxy question. I don't know. I know that I will be going live a lot more on both Instagram and Facebook. Right. During that time. I'm assuming you can probably do something. Just the title, you can do something like just for your specifically a smoke tier of people on Instagram or something maybe. ZB. And put Brett in the two. If we, I will make a promise here right now. I'll make a promise here in general.
Starting point is 02:48:23 but if we break the record and we make the series, whether we break the record or not, like I said, if we make the series, I'm going to get Brett something to do. It just, there's nothing for him to do yet in the pilot, at least I don't think. But yeah,
Starting point is 02:48:40 100%. Absolutely. Okay. So Mike, movie madness, just want to drop this and say, our show has inspired me to get back into writing. Say,
Starting point is 02:48:48 how cool is that? That's awesome. Any tips for powering through writing, even when burnt out from work? I always, people do it differently. I say listen to music. I say listen to music and listen to things that can relate to your project, and maybe that
Starting point is 02:49:03 sparks an idea. But that's how I do it. I'm very like music kind of runs in my brain at all times. So, uh, yeah. Uh, Blaine. How old is your sister in the show? I'm going to bring up, uh, Angela Gerantana again, early 30s.
Starting point is 02:49:17 Her uncle Johnny short is only 12 minutes. This will become my Hollywood. So I don't know if she'd be able to. to do the sister part because the sister is going to be probably late 30s maybe early 40s late 30s early 40s yeah late 30s early 40s um but
Starting point is 02:49:36 that doesn't mean that people keep bringing her up and Sam brought her up too oh and thank you to Sam and MK for doing the time codes by the way I didn't give them a shout out before uh Joseph Ashley shouldn't it be a tear for you to watch Hollywood it's half a lantern show and I'm sure better than Munsters it's hilarious I would do I really started watching some of it already I just got to finish it. Last one for now. Red carpet, talk.
Starting point is 02:49:57 That's Sam. Close friends means people who are designated close friends can see content that people in your public Instagram account can't see. Got it. It's almost like what they did for Myspace back in the day. Well, I don't know if close, if I do that necessarily for Instagram,
Starting point is 02:50:10 because you're going to have a tier for certain things at a higher tier that you'll be able to do that through Kickstarter. Right. Right. All right. Oh yeah. Joseph. Hope to see on double toasted.
Starting point is 02:50:21 I'm definitely going to reach out to them. 100%. I love them. And this is the same thing, Mike. I'm proud of ourselves as far. Yeah. I mean, as you should be. Like, I'm going to refresh this right now.
Starting point is 02:50:31 And you guys have gotten us to 2,172. All right. We didn't hit 2,200 yet, but we will. And the fact that you guys have gotten us that far, that alone should show you that we're doing something right here. We got to try to get, I mean, ideally we'd get the 3,000 by the end of the week. I know that me not being on yesterday probably, probably set us back a little bit, but I had to take the break.
Starting point is 02:50:57 I had to take the break because I also know when, you know, it's time for me to, I don't know, taking the break and making sure that we are ready to go. You know. When you go, go, you're going to stop. Yeah. I just know that I need a little break because it's just I just need the calm before the storm. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 02:51:17 Let's see. Do we have some more? We do a couple more. Hold on. Mike, if you can get a full series order, how soon will you offer Clancy Brown to roll your dad? You know, that's a great question, though, too, right? If we can, if we are able to shoot a whole series, I mean, in my mind, I feel like the dad would appear in the first season, but that's a martini question for the both of us, too. We know where we're going with the series and what episodes have to weave in, but her and I would then have to say, okay, it's go time.
Starting point is 02:51:46 And now let's lock ourselves away and do the episodes and write the episodes and write the episodes and get everything ready and probably have to shoot the pilot and be writing shit while we're shooting the pilot and get everything ready to go and start shooting stuff. That would be great. A great problem to have. It would be an amazing problem to have. So yeah, let's see. Mike, when our show does great, how much of an impact would the success of our show mean to you
Starting point is 02:52:12 and what down the road would you do if our show gets a complete series? What would I do if our show gets a complete series? I mean, and make it. You know, and make it and make it the best possible thing that you got. I want you guys be proud of it. I want, I want those shirts, our show is trending shirts,
Starting point is 02:52:25 to be worn like a badge of honor. You know, that's what I want. And I want, I mean, I want PLD sitting there and one. You know, I want it to,
Starting point is 02:52:33 that, that's what I want. Now, that, and that kind of goes similar to what I was saying, Mike, with the success of the show from before. Ed,
Starting point is 02:52:40 all that does is let you know when the Kickstarter goes live. That's right. Just, that's all. So for people who are wondering, oh, do I make a charge if I get,
Starting point is 02:52:46 if I click the notify button? No. It just tells you when we're live so you know of what we are offering. So you can see. And that's it. Okay. Cooley.
Starting point is 02:53:01 My book is doing great. I can't wait for your show and I'll support you. And I love that your book is doing great. Everybody should support his book. Do we have a link for his book? I don't have one yet. I never got one yet. And I'm worried if he posted, it's just going to go to spam.
Starting point is 02:53:13 But Cooley, can you try to post the link for your book in the chat? You have for spaces or something like that, I can then I can always like. Yeah, try to try to do that and see if you can because I'd like to promote him. I love that guy. Yeah. Yeah. With 3,000 backers, how much each gets us to the goal? If you did three, I mean, we got to, let's, what is, let's see.
Starting point is 02:53:34 Or 85, some of our thing, 805 and 110, maybe somewhere on there. 110? Let's see. What is 3,000 times 110? That's all top my head. Yeah. So if everybody, so with 3,000. So with 3,000 backers, everybody put $110 and then we make the show at the level that, you know, Boardwalk can make it at.
Starting point is 02:53:57 So, yeah. Okay. Mike, could Sam and Ming do some reactions together when you're off filming our show? I mean, potentially, the actual answer is yes, because Val is now kind of my, Val Ming's son has could serve as like the engineer to do all that stuff. So yes. I'm only going to be gone if it's, well, if it's the pilot, right, I'm only going to be gone for like a little over a week. So I probably have stuff in the can with Sam at that point too. But if it's the series, you know, then it'll probably be a little longer.
Starting point is 02:54:34 So we'll, so we'll see. Joe, do you write down your ideas immediately? My memory's getting bad if I wait later. I've been writing. I try to do that for every single. And I still do this. and I shouldn't. I come up with an idea for stand-up or something else, too,
Starting point is 02:54:49 and I'll get to it later, and I always forget it. And I still, and I tell myself a million times, don't do that. And I still, yeah. This is a great question. When it's up coming back, I got to check in with her and see, she's in Mama land right now. So I got to check with her. I got to see.
Starting point is 02:55:02 That's a galaxy far, far away, my friend. I know. Yeah, it's true. Beagle Studios. Another thing I learned is having people in your corner and taking the project they're a part of two and through their following cloud, get your project more eyes. It's great to see.
Starting point is 02:55:13 Yeah, 100%. Exactly what it is. Mike, how do you come up with ideas writing the script to our show and do you ask others for advice to improve the script? Well, I mean, yeah, that's what we did. You know, we come, the ideas we bounce back and forth with Martini and I have the things that were where we wanted to the pilot and the story to go. And then we hand it to some friends that we want to get their opinions on. And then we say, okay, let me some good points here. Do we do this? Do we do that?
Starting point is 02:55:37 Do we this? And then we just kind of, you know, sometimes you'll leave you like 50 minute voice notes for. Yeah. Collaborate, true. Nah, I don't want to do that. What I do want to do, though, as far as Talios goes, I do want to say, I think I said, I brought this up before you. I want to reach out to Rob, who's the owner of Talios and basically just say, well, I don't know if I want to do this because I feel like he'll say yes.
Starting point is 02:55:59 And I feel like I've been in such, I've been, I've been pretty good shape lately, PLD. This is my favorite pizza place is this place Talios. And I feel like I, if I would promote his pizza on every show, which I pretty much do already. But if I was going to do that, I said, look, I'll make you a day. I don't have to pay me anything. I'll promote you once a day on my show. But I just want free pizza for the year. Dangerous. Way dangerous. I don't need to even try that.
Starting point is 02:56:26 Okay. Let's see. Where is it? And Ed said, here's an idea. If you create a flyer with the trending logo and a description of it and the Kickstarter. Kickstarter info with a tier weight tabs on the bottom, flyers of Brumminolage. Yeah, but I don't know. That's a little too old school. at that much. I don't know if that What are we, 1970 here? I know. I just, I just don't know if that carries over the same way.
Starting point is 02:56:46 People are going to be looking like, what the hell is this? And they go, it might be just a waste of some, you know, paper. Fosci Abruza, can you bring back the old MTS shirts? For my favorite, bring them back and I'll buy 10 of them. I have to look at the designs. You know, people have been asking about that. I got to look at the designs that I have and see what I still have.
Starting point is 02:57:05 Okay, so he said that he put the link in the child. It's not coming up. If you want to like DM me out on Twitter. you know what so you know clearly do um like he said space it out a little bit instead of putting the full link because they might just put it straight to spam like i know what htp you don't mean i know what that yeah don't do that just like space it out and then he can and then pld can actually take it and put it out there because i just don't want it to be yeah um let's see okay here we go where is the next one everyone else actually everyone could do that as well
Starting point is 02:57:38 put your flyers yeah i know i just don't know when we get to be able to do flyers ed no okay let's say next one i think that's it for now right uh looks like it let me see i'm so looking for movie is to film the move is to film the pilot first and then approach the pizza place that's the move for advertising yeah that's the truth yeah okay um okay i'm trying to do some more Okay, there you go. My choice is the YouTube will let regular people post links in the chat. So that's why break it up a little bit. Yeah. Please. Yeah. All right. People still do flyers, but I see graffiti and stickers as well. It's fair. I'm going to start writing with a sharpie bathroom. Do it on, do it on landposts.
Starting point is 02:58:23 Don't do it on landpost. I'm in trouble for saying that. But that's what people used to do. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. You'll support our voice. Show your love from the show. Thank you, man. Yeah. Okay. I think, I think that's it. So guys, I can't thank you enough. Good first show back. I'm excited to have everybody back in town, everybody doing this. And yeah, you know, Cooley, why don't you just do me a favor? Just DM, PLD, your link.
Starting point is 02:58:50 And he'll post it on the show tomorrow with me and me and Smets. Okay, this is hilarious. What if you make big ball stickers, the barcoded training? That'd be pretty funny. You like if you scan his balls? Yeah, right? It's really great. All right.
Starting point is 02:59:04 you guys rule uh i'll be back hopefully maybe another super show tomorrow maybe most likely but you got definitely have uh smetzy on tomorrow thank you to roxy uh and thank you to mike thanks to pld luke jonathan and of course to mk and sam for doing the time codes and that's it guys really appreciate it if you haven't supported or i'm sorry sorry if you haven't started following the Kickstarter already and get notified today please and we're excited to do it again there it is trending it's going to launch on the 22nd let's make this show together i appreciate you and we'll see you on the flip side all right bye everybody appreciate you see you see you later did you shit in there
