Starting point is 00:00:39 It's called The Big Things Show. And we have a lot of things to talk about. Dune, two. Yeah, you've seen my review at this point. You've seen my ad of the theater at this point, and you've seen the reviews at this point. They are out of control. Now, by the time of this taping, they're at something like 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. So I'm going to ask the same question that I did with the same crew that was here last time when we were talking about Top Gun Maverick.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Is it really that good? We're going to talk about that today on the show. Also, other things we talked about, there was Marvel has been talking about how they're going to change the whole creative. There's a little bit more detail now exactly what that creative is. So we'll get into that. So we'll be doing that. We'll also have Roxy's take on some of the TV shows and also, I knew it.
Starting point is 00:01:29 There were some other things we were going to talk about and that was the date itself. Roxy drops something and so she is right now that looks so bad. That looked so bad. That looked so bad.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Anyway, we'll do that and more on the show. She was struggling to find it too. That's bad on my part. She was really having a hard time finding it. I cannot wait. I'm even, I want to show this what I'm going to do. I'm going to actually even stop it to show it before we even go.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Where is it? Where is it? All right. Anyway, hit that subscribe button. Get us to 200,000. Roxy will be happy to know that currently at the moment we are 1209,218. So we're moving, groving, we're shaking, bacon. So, all right, let's get to.
Starting point is 00:02:28 it everybody it's the big thing here we go i have to show you that i have to i have to show you welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the big thing show it's myself christian harlough roxy strier i can't brett sheridan us that was hilarious apparently the show is now called the small thing yeah when brett host i was afraid she was going to hit her head I kept like, be careful. But then the hand, I'm like, oh, that's that. That was one of the best. I was like, what's going on over there?
Starting point is 00:03:16 And I didn't even realize that. When I switched, I was like, oh, that doesn't look good. Oh, that's hilarious. My mic cord. It got stuck in the wheel. That's going to be the one. We've been trying to go viral on this show for a long time. This is going to be the one.
Starting point is 00:03:30 The way you like, like, I was legit scared. You were going to tell you. Donk your head. I'm going to get canceled. He's like, no, no, stop. Really? Really? He's the one that gets stuck.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Really? After all the Instagram posts, the people telling me not to show up and not to do this and not to that. And I stay back for a second. And Brett's the one. Real nice, Roxy. Real nice.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Yeah, I just was trying to get as canceled as humanly possible. So I went for him. The best was him going like. Yeah. Also, am I that repuls? I was like, Jesus. No, I seriously.
Starting point is 00:04:08 I was afraid you were going to hit your hat on the table. No! The dad and me kicked him. So good. So good. Well, Roxy did, I guess that's a good transition from that moment. How was the date? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I hadn't seen him in a while, Christian. The date was, you know what? I thought the date was awesome. No phone call? Man, okay, this was a good one. Because I texted you, like you asked me to. You did? I think I said like a 4.1 or something.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Right. And I was, I did say out of five, but I was confused at the time. I was like, out of 10? Yeah, no, out of five. I thought this guy was awesome. He was so sweet, so charismatic, really cool. The conversation just flowed. We went to two different spots.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Like, we were at one place. Then we went to a second location. And at the end of the night, I was positive. I was like, oh, I'm definitely seeing this guy again. Like, he was just awesome. Yeah, and then nothing? Not nothing. So that was Thursday.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Okay. It was his birthday on Saturday, and he was going out of town with his family to celebrate. Okay. So I texted him for his birth. I didn't hear from him Friday, which I do like a text the next day. It's not necessary. We liked this guy because he was so quick. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:28 So on Saturday, I texted him because it was his 30th birthday. Okay. So he's younger than me, too, which sometimes is like, you know. But it was his 30th. So I was like, I'm not going to not text him for his birthday. We just had this great night. We spent like five hours together. And so I texted him this, I thought, really thoughtful text message for his birthday.
Starting point is 00:05:44 And he responded and was like, thank you so much. And then now it's Thursday. So it's been a week since our date. So maybe it didn't vibe? Well, I don't know because it was so, like, there's no way. I'm not a moron with this stuff, despite popular belief. I know if I'm viving with somebody. I know that we vibed.
Starting point is 00:06:05 He actually stopped in the middle of the date and gave this really beautiful cheers about how he was like, you don't meet that many genuine people out here. And I'm just so unbelievably grateful to have met you. You are so great. And then his best friend is the one who set us up. She texted me the next day, Friday. And said, how did it go? So I know she must have talked to him because they're way closer.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Otherwise, she wouldn't have texted me. And I wrote back like a glowing review. And she was like, oh, my God, that's amazing. wait, like, but then I, I don't know, maybe he's just been busy for his birthday out of town with his family. Reading into it too much? I don't think so, though, because it's been a week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:43 And that's a long time to not say anything to somebody after a first date. Well, as is the new man in the picture, how do you feel? You know, I think, you know, if your skills were as good as they were earlier, no, that's, a week is a lot. A week is a lot. You guys think, right? Like, that's a long time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Yeah, I don't know. And then to be so vague on or so just, oh, thank you. No, no, he wrote something. I can read it to you guys, but it was like, essentially, he went to go see you two at the sphere. So I, but beforehand, he was like, I don't even know if I know that many of their songs. And I was like, what? They have every hit. So I was singing all these hits.
Starting point is 00:07:22 So when I texted him, I was like, when I texted him, I was like, hope you recognize more songs than you thought, whatever. And he was like, you two, I've been listening to them all day. They're amazing, super. underrated like you said, thank you for the text. So, like, he did write a little more. He was underrated to the younger generation. Yeah, I was going to say. No, super, um, I underrated them is what he said.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Yeah, they're not, not to me. I've seen them in concert before. I'm at diehard YouTube fan. Really? I really need to. I said, I know the Rose Bowl. Sick. I'm supposed to go.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Sick. Well, I'm sorry that didn't work out for you. Do you think, no? You know, it's, waiting for that long. It's probably not the best sign. Just being honest, but we'll see. Well, look. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Well, it is what is. At least it was a good date. We had so much fun. I haven't had a good first date in a while. So, like, all's well that ends well. It's not like he owes me anything after our first date, but I was super happy to have a normal person. Yeah. Good for you.
Starting point is 00:08:14 This is really lovely. So, like you said, you took the positives out of it. For sure. He was nice. All right. Well, there you go, guys. Good start already to the show. We got a date story.
Starting point is 00:08:23 And that was my favorite. You know what? You can tell who new listeners of the show are. And older listeners started the way that the new listeners' comments come in. now when they go, well, do we want to hear about a dating story? And then I had so many people that said it had said to me, you know, first when you guys started doing the dating stories, I didn't know if I was into it. I know.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Now I look forward to it all the time. So I saw somebody recently going, what am I listened to this girl's dating stories for? And I'm like, new person. I'm like, you know, new person. You don't know what you want to hear. Yeah. We know what you want to hear. And that's the whole point with Thursday.
Starting point is 00:08:58 This is the beauty of Thursdays now is that we have so many different shows this week. The Thursdays can be a little bit more loose, but we do have quite a few different topics to talk about here today, and here's the first one. All right. Dune 2, as we were talking about, as you saw in the topic, people raving about it, including yours truly. Dune Part 2, the reviews came in yesterday. The review embargo dropped. Response is superb, with some calling it the first awards caliber major film of the year. 90 reviews thus far.
Starting point is 00:09:30 This is, again, recording this on Wednesday. So who knows by Thursday what it's at. But it's at currently 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. A rather incredible number and considerably higher than its multiple Oscar nominated predecessor, which was at 83% of those 90%. Only three were negative. Sampling of the reviews, a sci-fi epic of the ages. Villanou has outdone himself.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Alonzo Duraldi, after somewhat peop. placing those chess pieces on the board in the first June, Villanuve and co-screenwriter John Spate send them into strategic alliances and conflicts, and the results are often breathtaking. Just as a reminder, I love Alonzo. He just doesn't know who I am. That's right. Yes, he does not.
Starting point is 00:10:19 So it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on as it should. Now, Brad, I forget. Did you see the first one? I have not, and my wife keeps asked me to watch it, And here's my issue. Is this going to, do you think they'll put it in theaters again so I can see it? Just put it in theaters last month. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:10:43 So it's possible. I mean, we have a 48-inch television, and I feel like that's not going to really give this. You're not wrong. But yeah, but he's not going to bring Lonnie over here. Why? I mean, you can. You want to rent out the studio? What's doing?
Starting point is 00:11:01 Rent it out. I didn't mean that fish you right now How much you're going to make off of them Exactly You can if you want to come over here and watch it But it's I don't want to lie to you and tell you Nah, you fine watching the laptop or something
Starting point is 00:11:16 It needs to be watching something awesome Yeah I mean it's a nice It's the same brand as this one It's an O-L-ED You should get a projector Oh I have a projector you can borrow
Starting point is 00:11:28 Well our living room Is very short That's why the television is so small. Maybe we just sit really close to it. You could do that, too. I don't know. I mean... I mean, I've got a great sound system.
Starting point is 00:11:39 I've got to... I mean, like, it will probably end up doing that, but I was hoping for, like, it coming out again, but I guess I missed that boat. But it's definitely something that I want to see. But this is what I would tell you, though. If the choice is either, there's a possibility that they're going to release it again
Starting point is 00:11:58 to couple, you know, the second one. That's a possibility. When? It would probably be like select theaters would be playing it, whether it's an AMC. You know, sometimes they do like those fathom events and everything too. So that's possible. You mean in the next like week? Essentially, one or two weeks, possible.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Yeah. But what I would tell you is what you're going to run into is if you don't watch it, then you're going to run into the same problem with number two. Number two, you definitely need to see the theater. Like if you're going to sacrifice one to see on the small screen. Yeah. You know what I'm getting so annoyed about, though? All the people, and I get it, I've said this before, but all the people are like, you have to have, you have to see this in IMAX.
Starting point is 00:12:39 And it's like, yes, would I prefer to? Yes, but like, there's not that many of the IMAX theaters. To tell audiences everywhere. Real IMAX, too. Yeah, to say, like, you have to see it in real IMAX. Like, no shit, Sherlock, it's better in real IMAX. But, like, it's got to be good enough to just go to the movie theater. That has to be good enough.
Starting point is 00:12:56 It 100% is. And that's, so that's, I did not see it in IMAX. And again, beggars can't be choosers. I saw it. They screened this on the Warner Brothers lot, and they screened it, like, not like they're, they have, like, smaller theaters that they screen a lot of these things for. But then they had, like, the big, massive, like, movie theater, which I, last time I saw a movie theater there was when I worked at Silver Pictures.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Oh, wow. And we went to the, they had a premiere there. I think it was like V for Vendetta or something. And we watched there. So they must have filled every single seat. That's why I wasn't invited, right? That's exactly right. In the massive theater, every seat was up to show.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Way. That was like really early of opening things up too, right? June, or no? June 2021. I was talking about two, but no, no, 2021 I watched, I watched here. Yeah, because that's the... It was in theaters and people were telling me, and I was being pretty stubborn about it. I can admit that.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I was saying, I don't need to see it in the theater. I regretted not seeing in the theater, especially after the second I knew it was coming out. And I went, Winston and I saw it at the Burbank IMAX, and it was worth it. Yeah, that was our plan. Our plan was to see it in the theater. I don't think we were ready to go out at the time. Wait. You went the first one.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Yeah, the first one. You know what it just happened, right? You would have walked out. I actually would have been so upset. No, no, they didn't give me a plus one. I swear. I swear, they didn't give me a plus one. Because I'm like.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Yeah, I know. So there were. I love you, Warner, brothers. Pick me, choose me, love me. I sat next to Snyder. God damn it. Why? I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:14:34 What a fall from grace I've had. Yeah, maybe. Maybe so. Be the bad date and then no dude. Yeah. I pissed in somebody's cereal. Did you? I guess.
Starting point is 00:14:43 I don't know. I've come on too strong. Yeah. You've got to play harder to get. Exactly. Don't start off shows the way you did. Nope. That's what I did to Warren.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Yes. Maybe it should have. Never called you back. Yeah. I want to see this so bad. The reviews are insane, Christian. So that's that poised. That's this question.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Yeah. Is it that good? Yes. I really was going, I was actually mad because Roxy wrote me and said, she goes, no, you don't know what I'm about to say. You're going to dislike me for this. Roxy writes me and says, what the hell on? I said, yeah, I had the screening.
Starting point is 00:15:16 And I was like, don't worry. There's another one at seven. And I was like, because in my head, I go, yeah, I definitely there is a one at seven because I was going to stay. It was, what time was it was, it was one when I saw it. It's a three-hour movie. No, 10 when I saw it. So I was out by one.
Starting point is 00:15:32 And I was like, oh, I'd have to stay from one o'clock until seven in one around Burbank. I can't do that. I was going to try to stick around for this, just watch it again. And then when you wrote me and said, oh, there's another one at seven. I checked the email. And the other one was at three. So I could have stayed. I could have.
Starting point is 00:15:49 Oh, yeah. That's so hard for you. I know. It was so hard for you. You're going to hate me. But I want, it shows the answer to the question is it that I go, yes. I was legit. I wanted.
Starting point is 00:15:58 to stay again. You're blown away. That's great. I haven't, it was almost like, people said in the reaction, like you could tell, did you watch a reaction? No, no. You could tell like the, my, like the emotion just kind of, it was like a wave that hit me and I, audibly was like in the theater.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I went, wow. Nice. Best movie of the year by far? Of the year, yeah. Best movie of the, any of the big, best sequel, best what? Like, I mean, so I don't, I can't, I don't, I don't, I won't call this movie a sequel. It, it is a part too. It's not a sequel.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Like it's, it is a, it is a second half of a movie. Okay, but don't be pretentious like that. No, no, no, no, but I'm saying,
Starting point is 00:16:35 but I mean, but I mean, it's, I mean, if I call it a sequel that's, it's a movie. No, you're not wrong.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Was it shot on film? Or was it right? But what I mean is that when people are like, well, what's better? The first one or the second one? It's like, it's really like asking
Starting point is 00:16:48 what part of the movie is better. Is the first part of the movie? Because it's a full movie. This is a full movie. Right, But you could say what episode is better, the penultimate or the finale? Yeah, I mean, sure. Not that this is a finale, but.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Yeah, but when you, if it's structured out for season one, sure. And this, it's like, it's three hours. It's like both of them together almost like a six-hour movie. And it is absolutely incredible. It's just incredible. And Zendaya, I always pronounce it wrong. Zendaya. It was pronounced, but you're yelling at me yesterday from announcing it wrong.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Zendaya. She's the moment of the day. She's incredible. Yeah, she's incredible in this movie. She's so good. Timothy Shalameh is... You don't care about this, but her fashion tour of this.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Did you guys see the robot outfit? No. Oh, my God. I don't care about that. I just think that she is like... She's the it girl. She's great. And now that she has this new movie
Starting point is 00:17:39 coming out, this Challenger's movie, that's probably going to definitely benefit from Dune. I don't know if everybody knows, but I saw that there's a big star in this that people didn't know was in the movie. Kind of, but it's so... brief. Oh. I think that's so if that's oh
Starting point is 00:17:55 which Kevin Spacey? Yeah. Who are you talking about? Can I say it? Well I'll if it's a big spoiler I don't think it's I read it Yes it's it's it's it's in the IMDB and it's so it's
Starting point is 00:18:10 Oh okay it's very brief. Oh Why was there somebody else? But I was going to say Christopher Woking but he's He's been billed yeah Christopher Wocken I said there's Christopher Wocken Florence Pugh, Austin Butler is terrifying in this movie. He's good?
Starting point is 00:18:25 Yeah. Why would you have in just a blip of a film? Is it for another? Maybe. So that is the also... Yeah, maybe. That's also the... We needed sand preparation.
Starting point is 00:18:39 The question was, are they going to do... Because this is, as I just mentioned, part one, part two, is one book. I mean, it's the Dune book. Dune Legacy is a whole other book. It's a whole of the book. Different characters, you mean? No, I think it's the same characters. A lot of different characters, but it's just not the same book. It's, I guess, that that would be, to me, like, that's another movie. It's a sequel inside of the franchise.
Starting point is 00:19:02 And I think I have something to do there for sure. But it is like... You haven't read either of these books, right? No, I have, I have, I keep wanting to... My daughter actually started watching, or started reading the first one. She bailed on it. But she read a lot of it. But I'm just telling you, like the, the music, Hans Zimmer's score, it is shot wonderfully. It's probably going to be, I mean, it's, Mike was asking me and my brother asked me this, and I'm sure you would eventually get this question too. Well, Oscar's, the conversation we had yesterday on the show about it was, my, because
Starting point is 00:19:39 it was supposed to come out in November of last year, that would have opened it up for a chance to get a lot of stuff. It comes out, it's March 1st, which is tough, because. there's so many other things that come out. It's too close to my birthday. It's too close to your birthday. That's exactly what they thought. I overshadowed. I know.
Starting point is 00:19:56 But they, so I think cinematography should be nominated. I think Zendaya could be nominated. Timothy Shalmay could be nominated. Best picture? I think so. Best Adapted screenplay?
Starting point is 00:20:10 I think so. Oh, is it adapted screenplay? It's from a book, right? Yeah. So you know adapted screenplay? Yeah. It's a brilliantly written script. brilliantly written script.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Sting? Sting didn't show up in this one. He's not in this one? No. Which character did he play in the Lynch version? I can't remember. Anyway, you think he's one of the Harkening's. But it's like
Starting point is 00:20:29 it's just so good. It's just like this kind of science fiction that I've been hoping for and I think that the question I was Top Gun Maverick, right? Like Top Gun Maver was the other movie that was like, wow, this is an awesome movie. But they're so different movies in scale.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Like this is a way more dense film. and it's like when you leave Top Gun, you're kind of like, you know, yeah. This one has considerably less high-fiving. Yes. Less high-fiving. But are there men, less beach volleyball? Volleyball, yeah. No, but, well, I think there's parkinans half-naked for sure.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Yeah. Yeah, but do you have any particular questions about it that's not spoiling it as far as... Is it three hours? It's about 2.45. How's it feel? Incredible. Like, it needed to be that long. Like, it needed to be.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Because there's like, at one point I was like, this has to be a longer movie. And I was saying it like, please be a longer movie because they're setting things up. And if it ends now, there's going to be so much, so many questions I have. So you don't think this should have been one movie? No. No way. There's no way. I mean, they could have cut it down.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Yeah, you would have missed out of so much. There's not many things that I would have kind of cut out. There's something sometimes you're like, oh, trim that back a little bit. But like the big scenes, the big action scenes, when they're, work, they're earned. What are the three people who didn't like it? What did they say? Is there any criticism of it?
Starting point is 00:21:53 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's see. All right, so here are the negative reviews of June part two. And I'll see if I agree with any where they're coming from here. This is three. Now, again, tomorrow, as of this filming, there's only three. Nick Newman from the film stage, takes a good stretch of precious screen time for part two to place anything other than a thorough going
Starting point is 00:22:16 checklist meeting obligation bolstered by obvious craft. What do you think about that? I think it's absolutely ludicrous. Oh, this one's coming from a Hollywood reporter. Ludicrous. Let's see. Lovia Grigark, never heard of him. Or her, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Plague by a nagging shallowness. Ugh, what? When it comes to portraying the Fremen, the film has difficulty fully embracing the nuance of her worst anti-imperial and ecologically dystopian text. No way. No way! Again, your opinion, fine.
Starting point is 00:22:46 No way. I thought that was done masterfully. It was done masterfully in how that whole thing, the politics behind in everything. What about Indy Wire one? So there's one more from Indy Wire one, and that is... David Hurley. Friend of the show?
Starting point is 00:23:01 No. No? No. No. No. Not a friend of the show. I just know of this. David Ehrlich,
Starting point is 00:23:06 not only does this movie pick up exactly where the last one left off. It carries over the strengths and weaknesses that made the previous chapter so astonishing to look at, but stultifying to watch. Ooh, sick burn. Yeah, his, his, I mean. That one didn't seem to like, he just seemed to not love them. Yeah, but what I don't get there, the first two, so again, for people who don't know how rotten tomatoes works, is that means that that last guy, even with that review, had to go under three out of five? Give it a C, it said, so.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Right. So, but wouldn't that be three out of five would be a C? Just, maybe just around that. But, like, so he's got to just be over that three. The other, I just strongly disagree with, with all of those reviews. I just, it was to me one of my favorite theater-going experiences in a very long time. Oh, God, damn it, Christian. Are you going to go, you're going to see it?
Starting point is 00:23:55 What the, I don't know what I'm going to do? What would you see it? What am I, yeah, I'm going to, I guess, but like when, how, what? If I'm not reviewing a movie now, if I'm not talking about it. I know, I know how it goes. It's like. But I only do it when I really. It was time to spend four hours between getting there, more than that, five hours, getting the,
Starting point is 00:24:12 this movie I would do that for. I will. I will. I'm going to. see you all it's in theaters. See Central City. I'm going to. I'm going to.
Starting point is 00:24:18 But when do I have a four and a half hour block in my schedule to go do that? I don't know. Midnight to 4 a.m. That's right. What were you going to ask? I was going to say, compared to Oppenheimer, what were you? Oppenheimer is a very, is it. Why is that the comparison?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Well, because we walked out of the theater like, wow, that was a great movie. And that was an epic one. And I was thinking of the IMAX thing, I was going to say, if I would have seen that on a regular screen, I still would have been blown away. I don't think the IMAX was, you know, it was cool for me, but it wasn't, I don't think that's like, you have to see it. It adds to it more than you think. Yeah. But I agree. I understand what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:24:55 Yeah, I loved, I still remember, Oppenheimer, I think last year was the best film of the year, the best film. My favorite film of the year was Godzilla minus one. So so far, young 2024, I think this is both my favorite film and the best of the year. I think that Denisville-Leneuve is right up there with Nolan. I enjoyed this one more than Oppenheimer but it's also because you're playing in my
Starting point is 00:25:23 sandbox with science fiction. Yeah, quite literally. Yeah, I didn't really, yes, pun intended. So if you hit, because this is the other thing I brought up on yesterday's show is that we don't have enough science fiction out there right now and that's why we did our whole show on this yesterday of the state of
Starting point is 00:25:41 Star Wars and where that is. And it's just like, I'm just kind of disappointed with Star Wars right now. And this kind of scratched that itch of like, this is what you're looking for. And I want to see more of that. I thought Rebel Moon was going to be something like that. Yeah, that's what. See, we saw that and we were super excited about, you know, like a sci-fi fantasy like that. And that was a letdown.
Starting point is 00:26:02 So I think I'm definitely going to watch this at home so I can see this one. Check first. Check first and see if they're playing Dune One. I mean, what you don't want to do is see them back-to-back. you'll be in the theater for two days. But it's, it's just... That would be fun, though. Yeah, it could be.
Starting point is 00:26:17 You can make a whole day of it. You can make a whole day of it. I mean, I... Go get lunch. I might do it. I mean, I would do it. It sounds like an alamo draft house kind of a thing where you get some beers in there. They deliver you the food.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Boom. Anyway, so the answer is yes, it's that good. Nice. It really is that good. It is, to me, one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. and I'm probably going to see it again very, very soon. Dune. Sneak it out.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Maybe that's something. Maybe that's something. Maybe I'll go see it with you. Let me see it with you very dune. We're going to go to that. Are you getting a pun that I'm trying to make? It's not a pun. It's obvious what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:26:58 You're saying Dune instead of soon. Ponds are obvious. Oh. Okay. So let me get back to that question. Yeah, I'd like to go. So if I went with you, would that open that up a little more? Maybe.
Starting point is 00:27:07 I think that would be fun. I think today, is when it's over, but did you see Real Rejects is doing a whole Dune 2 screening on Sunday? Which is sick. I cannot make it on Sunday. We have a, we have a
Starting point is 00:27:22 church. We have a thing. Yeah. A oh, yeah. I know where you're going with that. All right. Anyway. We have a friend. I have a thing. Call the guy. Just ask the questions. As vague as it gets. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Little A little, little deedle. Got to see about a girl. A little. Little Shiedl-Deedle. All right. Don Sheetle? I knew you were going to go that way.
Starting point is 00:27:45 You did? Yeah, I knew. Fletal, Deel, Don, Cheedle. You know. You know me. Noodle, noodle. The fifth, beetle. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:52 How about that? Four movies the Beatles are doing. Yeah. Did you hear that? Wait, I thought it was a series. They're doing a movie. They're doing four movies. They're calling it a series of the...
Starting point is 00:28:03 No, they're doing a Ringo movie. They're doing a... Wait, are you not talking about? Sam Mendus. Yeah. They're doing a movie. Oh, they're calling it a series. Series?
Starting point is 00:28:11 That's what I, the headline. Double check. I'm pretty sure it's movies. I'm sure it's four separate films. You check that and I'm going to tell you guys before we do that. I'm going to tell you both about our buddies over at Fume and Nutrafall. I'll tell you both about them right now. Let's talk about some habits because you guys know you got some habits and there's nothing better than beating a bad habit with a good habit.

And Mark Riley is the one who's really been talking this thing up. And I can't wait for him to talk about it even more so on the show when he's on for UAP. And he's just talking about how flavorful it was better than he thought.
Starting point is 00:28:57 It feels very fresh. And it's like refreshing herbal tea, but if it was vapor, it was, you can look at like sticky soda. It's got none. It's really good. It's well-weighted. It's perfectly balanced. It's extremely fun to fidget with. And it really, look at the wood itself.

And there's no, this is the reason why I decided people are, well, why would you, why would you get involved with someone like this? Why? Because they don't use harmful chemicals. Same thing with Nutrafall.
Starting point is 00:31:40 We've had NutraFarl for a little bit. People have been checking out. I've been doing it for three weeks now. Yeah, yeah. You need more? Oh, yeah, definitely. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so Nutrafall, Fume.

It keeps us going. It's the reason why we've been able to do the show for the last two years. Okay. Let's get to this next topic, which is very interesting.
Starting point is 00:32:10 This is that Marvel stuff. All right. New details on Marvel's creative retooling. Marvel Studios, man. There's a new feature piece up at THR, Holly Reporter. It's gone into the details about the creative retooling of various projects at Marvel Studios following the failure of several of the company's works like Ant Man and the Wask, Quantum Mania, Secret Invasion, the Marvel's. Studios riding high on the huge numbers for the trailer.
Starting point is 00:32:36 of Deadpool and Wolverine, which saw 365 million watching it, and X-Men 97, which had the biggest trailer launch for an animated series on Disney Plus ever. Several new details have emerged from the article. First up, the planned reshoots for Agatha Dark Hole Diaries were reportedly completed in just a single day, rather than the five days of reshoets normally scheduled as standard MCU works. Next, Eric Pearson, the Reignorock Black Window, has quietly been hired to polish the script for the new Fantastic Four, which aims to shoot this summer. Marvel has also hired the bear showrunner,
Starting point is 00:33:11 Joanna Kahlo, to work on the script for Thunderbolts, which will begin shooting in March in Atlanta. One thing not so clear is if Kang the Conqueror will be minimized or dropped entirely. What is happening, though, is that the Avengers Kang Dynasty title has been ditched and Marvel was already making movies to minimize the character after Quantum Media underreformed.
Starting point is 00:33:34 The TV side will give greater control to showrunners, citing the way executive producers Kyle Bradstreet was signline on secret invasion as part of the reason. One person who has commented on the changes is Mark Rufflow. Speaking with GQ, the Hulk star understands the fan exhaustion with Marvel pumping out too much. He said, I think the explanation into streaming was exciting, but the thing about Marvel movies is you had to wait three years, and that created a mystique. Three years. Talking about it. When there's one a year.
Starting point is 00:33:58 These corrections could be really positive things. Will it be what it was? I don't know. So much to talk about. Well, first of all, the dark hole diaries, the Roxy Stryor's story. You were thinking the same thing. She laughed to herself. I did laugh, but not because I was thinking it was my diaries.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Is it my diaries? I think that the way that you think about, Mandalorian and Grogut, I think about dark old diaries. I mean, sorry, it's not fun to slate your head. It's so teenage angsty. Agatha, dark cold diaries. Like, I'm telling mom, that's a brutal title. It's not great.
Starting point is 00:34:45 That's a brutal, brutal title. I prefer Agatha all along or whatever the other one they had. Yeah, wasn't that what it was? But either way, I still understand the reasoning for that series. I just don't understand it. I don't understand it either. I love Catherine Hahn. Me too.
Starting point is 00:34:57 But I don't need to know about her dark old diaries. I don't have to know. No, I mean. One day of reshoot. What are you doing a day of reshoot? Who knows? The only thing with this is that it's still, they've got to get past. And it's the same thing.
Starting point is 00:35:10 All the different changes that they're making, cut budgets, do everything you have to do. But what they need to do is get past this multiverse saga thing. They got to get past this freaking thing. They got to get to X-Men. They've got to get the Fantastic Four. And then to answer Mark Ruffalo's, you know, statement of, will it ever come back? It can if you really just focus on X-Men or Fantastic Four. I can get rid of everything else.
Starting point is 00:35:33 And then people will be excited for things to come back. But yeah, just right now. Who's excited for Agatha? For real, nothing against Agatha. If it's not me, then who? Right. Who's excited for that show? And that's what Mark Ruffalo was talking about.
Starting point is 00:35:45 There used to be a time of, like, it wasn't every three years. There was a movie literally for Marvel every year. But even so, you're waiting for it. And you're like, what's the next big movie? What is? Oh, man, I can't wait. It's like an event. And then these characters that they're coming out with, like, who cares?
Starting point is 00:36:00 Like, it's just like, Secret Invasion. You know we care about that show. I did watch it. You watched it, but you didn't care about it. You were, like, looking forward to it. But the reason I didn't care about it was, it wasn't good. Right. Well, that's true also.
Starting point is 00:36:12 That's like, they had me. Right. Like, I got me to watch, but it was not great. Right. And the X-Men 97, immediately to me, I'm like, that seems odd. Like, that's not too long. Oh, God, that was 30 years. That was a long, I mean.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Trailer was pretty good. That would be like in 97, doing the X-Men. Men 67. Yeah, I'm like, oh, my God, I'm so old. You start going down that path. You lose your mind. I've done that a couple different times recently. Talking to some of my interns this past week, and they were pitching things, and I was
Starting point is 00:36:44 talking about, oh, okay, he said I'm a big, big classics fan, one of the interns. I'm a really big classics fan. And I was like, oh, like, what are the classics? And it was like the friends and things that. I was like, oh, whoa, whoa, what is that happening here? Dupalipa crowd? Yeah. The next level.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Oh, did you hear this? No, what? This is the best. She was on a call with her interns and she said, she went to bring up Julepa. And she said, Dupilipa. I had the same reaction. They thought I was so unful. Oh, man, that's rough.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I sent you that Wendy Williams video. I don't know when that was from, but one of them had sent that to me as something. And I was like, oh, my God. So good. I love that. We call her dupes. But anyway, the Marvel calls her Dula Peep. Dula peeps.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Dupa Leaps. I think ours is better. Anyway, I think that the Marvel thing, it's just, Deadpool, as they mentioned, Deadpool's going to be, did you see that trailer? No, I'm just going to go into it blind. I already like Deadpool. I want to, I want to. That trailer is really good.
Starting point is 00:37:52 It's really good. That one is going to be the one that, if they got to carry that momentum, though. Do you think it's going to make a billion dollars? because I feel like it's going to. That's good question. I think it's going to do really well. I think that the trailer was awesome. A billion.
Starting point is 00:38:10 They're having a hard time pulling those kind of numbers recently. So, I mean, I would be shocked if it's under 800. I have a bet with Roka that it'll go at least $750. I think $750. I would take the over on that for sure. He took the under? He took the under. Well, he was originally said $6.50, and I gave him $750.
Starting point is 00:38:29 I mean, $650, I think there's no way. How much do you think the movie cost $250? Movie costs probably between $200 and $220. Yeah, probably $200. Yeah, I see this definitely hitting over $750. I would put it right at maybe like $8.50, but I don't know about a billion. I wouldn't fight you on it, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:49 It's only because I think that the excitement behind it and the fact that Guardians almost got there, right? And I think that... Three? Guardians three got to like $750, $800, I think. Did you see that one yet? Yeah. Oh, you did see that one.
Starting point is 00:39:02 Yeah. I was just thinking about something else. Now when you called on me, I was thinking about it, and then I had to respond to that. How did the Hull 2 do? Sorry. They both did pretty good. Hold on. Let me bring up both numbers.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Well, this is going back in that article, but Ant Man, the Wasst, was considered a huge failure? Big disappointment, and I think that it barely broke even or lost, like, lost money. You're talking about quantum mania? Quantumania. Yeah. Did you like that or no? So my stance on quantum media is the same as it was when I came out of the theater. And I said, people are not going to like this movie.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Going back to our earlier conversation, I had a feel. No, no, I was with my daughter. But it was a science fiction feel, and they switched it up, and I was happy to see that. The ending is really bad. It's sloppy. It makes no, it's just so chaotic that I'm like, but I liked the swing that they took. But I knew immediately a lot of people were not going to like that swing. And I still like that swing.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I still like the fact that they went into this different realm. I thought it was cool. I really liked that movie. The ending is enough for me to understand why it was so disappointing. Like the ending is bad. And the main villain gets taken away by ants. It's ridiculous. Oh, that is an ant-man movie.
Starting point is 00:40:19 But this is supposed to be the next Thanos. And he was beating like that. I get it. I get the criticism. I just liked it. That's fair. All right. So let's let me say, Roxy's.
Starting point is 00:40:28 question. All right, the first Deadpool. First Deadpool was a smash hit. Cost 58 million to make. Made $782 million. That is a smash head. You think they made their money back? And then some. The second doubled its budget and got to about $110 million. And it made $7.85. So both of these movies have made in the seven range. Why would Roka think that this would do worse than one and two adding Wolverine? Just because of the state of Marvel. And it was different times. I'm kind of, you know, without seeing the trailer, I'm kind of with them that I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:06 I mean, the first one, you know, that nobody wanted to make it, right? And then it just became a huge hit. The second one, again, they added some more money still made. But this could not be great. I mean, like, they could. The trailer is awesome. And they know so much as writing on this. And I think that they're in.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Does it give away a lot of jokes? That's the only thing I don't want to. There's a lot of jokes in it. No, I found the trailer to be pretty serious, actually. There's, okay, but I mean, they're, but I mean, but I mean, but I mean, there's just your opinion. There's a serious tone, but the beginning of it is, it's, but I actually did a great job of making it pretty vague. Yeah. Like, so it's, in this one.
Starting point is 00:41:45 In this one. The next one, they're probably one of giving away a lot of stuff. What was the budget of this one? Sorry to make you keep doing research, but I'm curious because they have a chance of. I'll see if we find out. Yeah. So there's no, there's no. figure yet on how much it costs what the rumor is.
Starting point is 00:41:59 But I'm probably, you know, if you, if the first one was 50 something and the second one doubled it. 58 to 110, probably 220, probably 220. Yeah. Probably double it again. Because, I mean, you got that Wolverine Power now. But here's the conversation that we had yesterday. When there are certain movies that earn that kind of budget, right?
Starting point is 00:42:19 I think this movie has earned it. If you're going to give it a $200 million budget, I still think they should have went for $150 because I think. Maybe they did. Maybe they did. Hey, Christian, were those numbers, though, based on, didn't Deadpool get released like three times? Mm-mm. Oh, oh, oh.
Starting point is 00:42:33 You know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about? As like a Valentine's Day cut, right, right, right? When they had like Fred Savage doing that thing. Yeah, but it didn't make like so much more that it was like another hundred million. Yeah, I'm sure it did. In the same way that Avatar had all three releases.
Starting point is 00:42:47 That was a PG-13 version, right? Yeah. But it still counts for sure. But it's going to, Marvel's going to need Deadpool to perform. Okay. I'm so nosy. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:43:00 What? I just read a text of years. Of mine? Yeah. What was it? Who was it from? It was from somebody awesome. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Oh, he's gonna be, yeah, he's mad at me. Not mad at me, but he wasn't, he didn't see mad, but that could be cool. Yeah, he's trying to get me to do something. I got to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:43:14 That could be cool. Yeah. All right, listen. We got... Read it out loud. No, we got more TV. We got more TV coming up. And we might have,
Starting point is 00:43:23 now, I was going to talk about Beatles, but we can talk about some other show. We're going to talk about TV coming up. Starting point is 00:45:22 And I will tell you that magic spoon has helped because when I get hungry and I'm like, what am I going to eat something at 8 o'clock at night? I hate my magic spoon. Have you been? I love magic spoon. And I've legit the ends of all of them that the kids that always leave out, I've mixed all three of them together and eat it before. That's what I have to stop doing though.
Starting point is 00:45:45 I got to stop mixing the series of running out of them so fast because I mixed in peanut butter and the chocolate. Yeah, yeah. And then I'm like, oh, I don't have anything left. Animal, you've been eating everything at the same time. It's tough because it's almost a two-bowler. Yeah, it's true.
Starting point is 00:46:00 But it's all protein. It's all protein, which is so good. And that's all right here. So it's really good. People keep asking me on a line if I'm pregnant. Can I have some of this, please? No, it didn't happen once.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Oh, it happened? I've gotten it like 10 times in the last month. Yeah. Pregnant? What? I don't know. I don't feel like I've gained that much weight. At all.
Starting point is 00:46:17 But apparently I need Maddox spoon, so hook it up. Okay. No problem. Yes. So that Instagram feed was hilarious is that she had, you know, she was talking about all this, these comments that people coming in. And then one guy was talking about, he's like, I really like you on, on Christian's show. I like you on that show.
Starting point is 00:46:34 He's like, the only thing I don't like is when that, that chipmunk comes in. And, and Roxy's like, you know, it's not me doing the voice, right? And he goes, he goes, yeah, I know, but it's weird when he does it. I don't like it. He needs to stop. But I wrote back, no. It's my favorite To his credit
Starting point is 00:46:52 He tagged you He tagged you in the post He tagged me But he also wrote back with a laugh After I wrote back to him too I have no I have no beef with the guy whatsoever But I'm like no
Starting point is 00:47:01 If you don't get the comedy of it I'm not telling you to need to like it But it's like it's weird Don't do it No it's my show My name's on it Hey Roxy I heard there's someone on Instagram

Starting point is 00:47:25 I'm not lying. I had my nuts on Steph. On her? Yeah, on her head. Right on her head. She said, in the comic, she said, can you jet your nuts off my head? For real, yeah. I ain't kidding. This motherfucker knows. Is it only fans gone? Big Balls, you are not the father of Roxy's baby.
Starting point is 00:47:45 Oh, shit. Yeah, okay, now I can go to Vegas. Perfect. Stints. Stints. What's that? Big boss said once if we had Brett going, he said. He was going to hook up with a hippo, right?
Starting point is 00:48:02 Rinosaurus. Wait, you want to ask him a question? You want to ask him a question? Hey, Brett, I heard you liked my last adventure. Last story. I got a new one for you. Oh, yeah. What's that?
Starting point is 00:48:13 I fucked a kangaroo. Kangaroo? Oh, yeah. How you do that? Stints. Stints. This time I used a pogo stick. And I said, jump with me, Mama, jump on me.
Starting point is 00:48:23 And she would jump in. And I said, oh, look at that. Target practice. And then I kept aiming. Sometimes I hit, sometimes I hit a tree. I bounce back off. I shake myself off. And then I got to fucking.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Jesus. Big balls, come on. Hey, come on. This guy asked. He asked me a question. I have questions about kangaroos anatomy. Oh, please tell me. What's you want to know?
Starting point is 00:48:47 I'm genuinely curious about, like, do they have penises and vaginas? Not the one I was with, Mama. Where's the hole that's under the... No, he just... He did the pouch. Yeah, he's in the pouch. He's the whole under the pouch or in the pouch? No, I'm pretty sure...
Starting point is 00:49:02 I think the anatomy is the same as ours. But where's the pouch? The pouch is like... You've got to get out of here since we need to do this TV stuff. All right, let's get to some TV stuff. Roxy's got TV shows for us. Roxy, here we go. Let's start with this one.
Starting point is 00:49:15 We had the finale of Trudita... Night Country. Are you caught up on this? No, I'm still, I'm still four episodes. Okay, so I won't tell you what happened. I'll just tell you that this really worked for me. I heard the creator of the show loved it. Loved. Did you hear this whole controversy? No, he hated it?
Starting point is 00:49:32 Oh, yeah, I thought you would know. How do I know about this thing? I'm not surprised because it's not a true detective finale. Well, so he, fans were like tag I think it was pretty petty what he did, but the fans were tagging him. This is like an Alan Moore Moore situation? I don't know, I guess, but the fans were tagging him about how he was missed and he shouldn't, they shouldn't have done the show without him. And he was like reposting it on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:49:54 And it was just like, it was just petty. Yeah, that is. This is a, this show has a lot of supernatural elements to it this season. And that makes it not fully in line with the other true detective seasons. I thought it was an excellent series. And I thought the finale stuck the landing for the show that they were doing, which was not a true detective show, really. It was a show about detectives. Right.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Just with the name. Yeah. Fair enough. Yeah, but it worked for me. Okay. Next one. Oh, I just love Master of the Air so much. And I have Grammy and Papa watching this.
Starting point is 00:50:24 And it is just so cool to be able to watch them. And I'm stopping every little bit. I'm like, Papa, did they get that right? Like about partying and about different aerial shots and whatever. And even yesterday, Grammy was like, I can't believe that you did this every day. You know, like you're watching how they get in the planes and everything they do. And it's just kind of unbelievable. This show is really heartbreaking, though, which.
Starting point is 00:50:46 which I'm kind of curious after this most recent episode where they're going to go from here. I'm going to, yeah, I'm going to revisit that one. I will, I promise. I let you do this one. I'll let you slip this one. Are you not watching it? No, I can't. I can't.
Starting point is 00:50:58 The Dynasty, it's on Apple TV Plus. This network doesn't miss, and obviously the show is made for me, but I really do feel like it is made for sports fans. It is so good. We're two episodes in. What I will say is my favorite part is watching Drew Bledso talk about Tom Brady and from Drew Bloodsoe's perspective, what happened when he got injured
Starting point is 00:51:19 and he thought he was coming back to the team and the decision was made by Belichick that he was starting Brady? I am like just, I am completely in love with the show. I think it does give its flowers to everybody that deserves flowers, but also you think about just like
Starting point is 00:51:40 there's so many things that happened over 20 years. There's so many moments. I probably will. check it out. I'm sure they're going to cover the giant stuff, so I'd that. Absolutely. So I'll watch it for that. No, I will watch it. I absolutely will. You know what I won watching Sportswise last night?
Starting point is 00:51:55 The 30 for 30 Rick Flair documentary on the SPN? Holy shit. I was like in tears by the end of it. Yeah, 30 for 30 do a great job, obviously. That was not so anyway, but yeah, but you're right. I think I'm going to check out this, the Patriots. They're doing a really interesting job and I, and Tom Brady,
Starting point is 00:52:11 I will say from people, Tom Brady's not on the screen the entire time. So it's not like it's just him talking about his thing and it's talking about the whole Patriots dynasty. All right. Who's this? Taylor Tomlinson is one of my favorite comedians. This is her third stand-up on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:52:27 Have it all. And it is, I think she's super, super, super- engaging and good. She is DPC Dead Parents Club like me. She talks about that often. She's single like me. So I do think that I have a unique. Like I really relate to her.
Starting point is 00:52:43 So she's definitely my type of comedian. She's in her 30s now. And the same way that Pratt relates to like George Clooney. Yes, exactly. And a big through line of this is like, can you have it all? And she's like, well, I have my career and I'm, but I'm single. And I'm like, a girlie, I feel you. Except for the fact that I'm not as famous as she is.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Well, she's already got a late night network show. Oh, does she? Yeah, yeah. She's on after, who is it? I don't even know that. Yeah, maybe. No, she's got this show. And it looks funny.
Starting point is 00:53:15 It's like, uh, what is it? Fill in the blank kind of comedian, you know, like kind of a, yeah, it looks good.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Wow. She's really good. Yeah. And that's, that's big for me because she's, I mean, I just started watching her stuff. It's been like two,
Starting point is 00:53:27 three years, right? Yeah, yeah. She's relative. I mean, she did, midlife, so I think at 25 was her first and now she's 30.
Starting point is 00:53:33 She's very funny. Oh, the show absolutely gutted me. This is based off that movie, right? I don't know. One with Ann Hathaway? Books.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Yeah, Anne Hathaway and... There's a movie? Yeah, and Jim Sturgis? No, Jim Sturgis and Ann Hathway were in the... I know it's a series of books or a book. Let me make sure that's true. Yeah, it was a movie with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgis.
Starting point is 00:53:54 No, it wasn't. I didn't see that. Did you see the movie? I remember the movie, yeah, it was pretty depressing. This... I think that this... This show blew me away. It's 14 episodes.
Starting point is 00:54:08 They're like 35 minutes each, yeah. Wow. I watched the whole thing in two days. Wow. It was because this is, it's like a, every episode is a different year. Okay. So it follows the relationship of Dex and Emma, who are best friends. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:25 And starts with them when they're teens and ends up with them in their 30s. And it is like watching the evolution of them. Mm-hmm. I just thought they nailed it. This could have gone cheesy, corny, could have felt like a gossip girl 90210. but it didn't. It felt like a link later movie or something. I thought that it was a really,
Starting point is 00:54:47 they did a beautiful job. The performances? The performances were wildly good. This guy is the guy from White Lotus. So he's got some heat on him right now. I thought she was phenomenal too. I was really, really taken back with how much I love this one.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Okay. Yeah, I remember the thing of the movie was decent too. Next one. Vince Stable Show is a show that Netflix recommended to me and I was like, oh, maybe I'll come back to this. And then I saw a couple critics that I like saying that it was really funny and kind of in the vein of like a Dave or a Atlanta or Louis or Curb or any of the stars that are already stars that kind of have their own shows around them.
Starting point is 00:55:52 And so I watched the first two episodes. They're short. They're like 25 minutes. Yeah, I'm definitely into it so far. I'm trying to figure out what the tone is in the same way that took me a minute to kind of figure out what the tone of Atlanta is or what the tone of Rami is or Dave. It's kind of like, huh, we start in jail. And then the second episode's like a comedy about a bank robbery. So we're kind of all over the place.
Starting point is 00:56:18 But he's really engaging and endearing. And I think that I would kind of just follow him through all different exacerbated situations. So or exaggerated. Yeah. Exaggerated? Whatever you want. I like it so far. Okay. Will you be, one of these things you have to do, you've got to, because you have Peacock, right?
Starting point is 00:56:36 Yeah. You got a one of these days, especially now with the way the ratings are and how much they're in the pop culture, you got to watch one of the wrestling events. You got it? I would love to. Elimination Chamber is this Saturday. Can you cover it for next week? How long is it? I think Elimation Chamber is, you could always skim through some of it, too.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Are you going to watch? I'm watching it, yeah. I'm watching it with my little one. Why do you refuse to watch the new Perry Mason? Oh, yeah. I don't refuse. I've suggested one show to you. Here's my, you guys know.
Starting point is 00:57:08 So I have watched 24 shows this year so far. Week. This week. No, he said week. Week sauce. Oh, like, I thought you meant W-E-E-E-K. That would have been very, very... Apropos.
Starting point is 00:57:24 Christian's offer is more engaging to me because, or is more likely because I'm trying to watch shows from this year. Parmesan is not this year. Right. And it's also in the pop culture zeitgeist right now. The one I want to watch so bad is dark because of you. But that's the one that I have to figure out when I'm going to do that. Dark's like, I mean, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:46 And it's if you try to catch up to shows from this year, I know. I haven't started expats yet, which is next on my list. So I'm for next week going to try to do expats. No, dark had another one, right? Well, they had another, the creators had another one that came out that didn't stick around for that long. on the boat. I can't remember what it was. But people were saying it was pretty good, but it got canceled. Bill on the island? No, that's tempting.
Starting point is 00:58:08 I'm on a boat. Oh, it was like, yeah, it was all on a, like a sinking boat. I can't remember exactly what it was. Titanic. Stop this. It was called My Dark Hole. Yeah. The Agatha story. The Agatha story. Anyway, that's the show. That's what we're doing today. Thank you for joining us here today. And thank you for being part of the conversation.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Roxy Stryorier. Where can I find you? Everywhere at Roxy Stryor. I am going to be... Thank you, Brad. Someday, one of the sketches I have will go up on aboveboard TV. I got some stuff from New York. They haven't dropped yet because they're dropping all the Iceland things. But...
Starting point is 00:58:42 And then I'll be on, hopefully, coming out pretty soon. We started a aboveboard podcast. Oh, okay. Just working, working. Well, there you go. So speaking of work, and we're working towards 200,000, guys. We're at 129,000, 26 as the type of this recording. So, if you can hit that button, it helps us tremendously.
Starting point is 00:59:02 I have my Dune review up right now. I'm going to have the spoiler review up, probably, you know, obviously the week of release. And Roke and I are going to be doing a spoiler discussion live. So make sure you join us on March 3rd, Monday, March 3rd for that. So, Brett's birthday. So thanks for joining us. Appreciate you guys.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Oh, yeah. See you later.
