The Kristian Harloff Show - Elle Fanning As MYSTIQUE?! Marvel's X-Men Reboot Eyes Its Next Major Star!

Episode Date: September 25, 2026

Could Elle Fanning become the MCU's new Mystique? Marvel Studios is reportedly looking at several actresses to play Raven Darkhölme/Mystique in the upcoming X-Men reboot, with Elle Fanning among the ...names reportedly being considered. On today's Kristian Harloff Show, we discuss the latest X-Men casting rumors, whether Elle Fanning would be a good choice for Mystique, and how Marvel Studios' new mutant roster is beginning to come together. After years of Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn playing the character, what should Marvel do differently with its version of Mystique? The MCU's X-Men continues to be one of Marvel's most anticipated upcoming projects, and every new casting report gives us another potential clue about the direction Marvel is taking with the reboot. How important will Mystique be to the first movie, and could she become a major recurring character throughout Marvel's mutant saga? Then we turn to The Batman. Robert Pattinson says his version of Batman wouldn't fit into James Gunn's DCU. Fans have debated for years whether Pattinson's Dark Knight should eventually become the DCU Batman, but Pattinson himself seems to think the universes simply don't belong together. Is he right? Should Matt Reeves' Batman remain completely separate, and what does this mean for The Brave and the Bold and the search for the DCU's Bruce Wayne? We're also discussing a fascinating new television project from Terence Winter, who is adapting Jay Stratton's memoir Out of the Shadows into a series centered on investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). The biggest discussion today is the continuing development of Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot. If Elle Fanning really is being considered for Mystique, could she follow Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence and put her own stamp on one of the franchise's most recognizable mutants? We're also tackling the continuing Robert Pattinson/DCU Batman debate. Pattinson doesn't believe his Batman belongs in James Gunn's universe — and he may have a point. Does keeping the ReevesVerse separate give both versions of Batman a better chance to succeed? Starting point is 00:00:00 Robert Pattinson says, my Batman wouldn't fit into the DCU anyway, so stop asking me about it. New X-Men potential casting. Looks like something's going to happen soon with some more words on who the hell is going to be in this movie. Sopranos writer, Tulsa King writer, Terrence Winter,
Starting point is 00:00:19 is going to team up with Dan Farah from Ready Player 1 and also the most recent UFO document documentary age of disclosure and they're going to be adapting Jay Stratton's out of the Shadows memoir, which could be pretty interesting. It's like the first one was biopic about somebody who worked in the UFO system. And then we're going to just discuss a whole bunch of other things. I had an opportunity to talk to Brad Bird yesterday and an interview with him, which was pretty cool. We can't talk a little bit about that. I can't talk about all of Ray Gunn yet.
Starting point is 00:01:00 I did see it. But that and more with Winston A. Marshall today on the show. So let's get into it. It's me and Winston. Here we go. Did you shit in there? Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. It's Christian Arnold Show here today on this Friday.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Joining me on Friday, as always. Winston A. Marshall is here. Hello, Winston. I'm trying to show this. This one picture that I have is not showing up. So let me see if I can get those lower thirds back up there. But I'm going to show you guys this picture from yesterday. I posted on my Instagram, but it was cool.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I'll kind of give you a little bit more of the breakdown of everything that went down yesterday. And it was pretty awesome because I did see, like as I mentioned, have you seen the trailer for Raygun yet? No, I'm going to a screening for it next week. Oh, good. Oh, good. Okay. So, yeah, so you do the same thing I did. You don't watch it. be good until you just kind of fly in blood yeah if i if i get invited to something like this and it was
Starting point is 00:02:11 something that was like under my radar for a minute i just yeah same so i had an opportunity yesterday was uh and he came in and we we sat down for about an hour and we talked i love this dude i love him i love him he's just a fucking cool dude he's just a cool dude and i at the movie i can say that is that you know without really spoilted ray gun is just essentially the definition of like cool it's just like it and and and meant for that. It's like this whole, I'm not giving anything away or breaking embargo by saying, because they talked about this, it's like a classic noir and this, you know, retro science fiction put together. And it's, but Brad Birch is, you know, he's, he's who he is. He's, and he's, he's just a
Starting point is 00:02:59 creative. He is someone that likes to do his own thing. And we talked about, and we talked about pretty everything we talked a lot about Raygon we talked about Incredibles we talked about Iron Giant we talked about um mission impossible we talked about Tomorrowland um talked a little bit the only we didn't really dive into as much as I maybe would have liked to although it was mentioned was Rat Tatui okay uh we talked a little bit that I still haven't seen that one yeah man you ever never seen Ratatatoui oh that'd be a good one too um that you probably would have liked that goal a lot better than the one that we hit yesterday yeah we'll talk about that in a little bit But yeah, we talked about, you know, live action stuff.
Starting point is 00:03:40 We talked about the stuff that he, you know, he was, he was offered Star Wars before J.J. Abrams was and he turned it down. Talked about that. I talked about the future project. I mean, we talked for a bit. It was we have a lot of like, really, there's a really funny moment. I don't want to ruin. I want people to watch it.
Starting point is 00:04:00 But it was, and I, and Fatimator, if you're out there, I gave you a shout out in the interview. give him a shout out because Brad Bird is famous for saying that animation is not just for children. It's not just for kids that it certainly can be, but it's not just for kids. And I said, I have a guy in my chat that talks about that all the time. And I gave you a shout fan amator. So if or Paw Patrol fan, I guess your name is now. So, but yeah. So it was it was good. I'm excited for people to see
Starting point is 00:04:34 we'll probably put the interview up on Monday or Tuesday, but he's he was always someone that I really respected and loved his work, but now he's just one of my favorite people because he's just, he's just like that, you know, he's just walking in with the cool, the, I mean, look at a jacket, jacket alone. He's got that vibe, man. Yeah. Like, you don't, you don't, you don't make as many, like, classic films as he has without having some level of aura, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:05:03 You know, you have to. He's just got it. Yeah, and he cares about his animators and he cares about things in general, like just like the people around him. And he's not afraid to like, you know, tell people, well, I don't necessarily know if I agree with that. And it's like, you have to be at that level, you know. So anyway, so that will drop hopefully on Monday or Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:05:22 I'll let people know. The other things as far as Schmowdown goes and we'll get into where we are as far as the 16-person tournament. And on the Schmodown vault, we just ran because yesterday, It's just people's like, and I like that people are asking this, but like, where's yesterday's match? And I'm like, I can only do so much. You know, it's like, so I just missed the upload. So I put it up there this morning.
Starting point is 00:05:44 But the other thing that I'm going to put up there was our first, it was really the precursor. Like the first ever real live event that we ever did for Shmodown was at LA Comic Con in 2016. Now, there was no matches, but it was a full panel. It was, and allowed me to see like the full energy of the crowd, like, react. to people and it was the first time as the stars were being built throughout the Shmodown and see what kind of reaction that they got and it was also interesting because there's two things that were interesting and I'm going to play I'm going to send this as a time code to some people sometimes out of a particular comment but the the first thing was hearing Campia who starts
Starting point is 00:06:22 off the panel talking about how I went into his office and I pitched him the idea and all these things to get it on as a weekly show and Collider and then the other thing when I'm up there talking about how I pitched it because we still get we still get comments I got one recently he's like it's from from a guy he's like you know I was watching Schmodeon and I got into Schmode I was into watching it for a long time but then once the WWE stuff started coming into it that's when I bailed and I'm like you hear me in this this is literally when I said when I pitched it to John I said I wanted to be like a WWE show starting the part where the guy said he watched it was like that from the beginning
Starting point is 00:07:00 from the start I was like yeah I wanted to be the WWE meets, meet UFC, meets this with storylines and all that, with big characters and that, and it was there from the start. So I thought that would be interesting. We're going to air that a little later on the wall channel.
Starting point is 00:07:14 It's one of those things, not necessarily to match, but I think it's a good way to see the kind of the precursor of the live events. Then that leads me to the fact that now we are, we're approaching, I up the deadline now, or I pushed the deadline, rather,
Starting point is 00:07:29 because initially it was after one day if we get funded, But we had such a poor, their first day was so monumental. And we've been doing pretty good over the last couple of days. And we're getting too close that I was like, ah, it's not fair to everybody who really wants to see that 16-person tournament. And the idea that, you know, we also, look at that. Luke put the ticker up before I even get to where I was going. So we basically got, now we got to a place.
Starting point is 00:07:59 You saw the number. It's 175. We're only, we're less than 25,000 away from hitting the goal. And I said, there's somebody with boardwalk involved in doing a shmowdown thing. And we're sending it now to September 29th. So we basically have now, including today, about four and a half days to get to the goal. And if we get it, then we make the show. And then we got to hit stretch goals because we still have to afford to do this mode.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And make sure that we can get good cast, we can get a, really good DP, but we just know that we'll have something to do. If we hit 200, we know we're doing something. But then we'll have to hit stretch goals. But so just to let people know, we're going to probably come up with some idea on what I will say is this. And as we did not hit the goal of 195 yesterday that would potentially have sent Winston and Chris Carr to Universal, but it didn't really matter anyway because Winston said, I'll get back to you and he never did. So I literally said I would think on it and I it was one of those things that if we had actually hit it
Starting point is 00:09:03 I would have had another discussion with you but yeah so that's okay trust me I didn't want to do it yeah so like it would but I would have had another discussion if we what's up you and me dressing up a Shrek I also oh yes that bullet you know that's right Pieldy had to dress up as Shrek however you didn't dodge you didn't dodge it yet because I'm going to throw another one out there but this is going to be to do, but I'm going to put a deadline up tonight. 11.59 p.m. again, if that we hit now, if we hit
Starting point is 00:09:35 200, PLT would be back in the Shrek outfit again. That's another one. We're putting that back on the table. As I mentioned yesterday, it was going to be a stretch goal. This will be the first time I offer it, and that it might be a stretch goal down the line, but, and Winston didn't hear this yesterday, if
Starting point is 00:09:51 we hit the 200K by 1159 p.m. tonight, I will, at some point it gets probably either this january or the following january whenever it is i will send mike hellenowski to cover the avian awards for us see i don't get off for this type of i get offered to go shit myself you're getting a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute you said yesterday you said yesterday when chris car told you about the conjuring you said oh this shows christian doesn't like me by not sending you to the avian awards it shows that
Starting point is 00:10:28 that I do like you and want you to get married. Bro, you don't think my fiance would be there getting interviews for damn self. Maybe. I know. Maybe. Maybe so. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:10:43 So that is something that we're going to do. And let me show you guys currently where we're at. Again, I'm going to show the, I know we showed the ticker, but I'm going to give you guys a, just a little peek where we are. And we're also going to do something else. outside of the 200, obviously, for today's goals, because I'm going to do the same thing that I did. I don't know if I told Winston this yet,
Starting point is 00:11:06 but because everybody would kind of showed up for me on Tuesday and just kind of came in at the kind of stern-hearted hearts to support and everything on Tuesday. So it wasn't fair that, you know, Roxy and Mike had the show, and obviously because we had a long stream, they would have won. So everybody's going to get a bonus for this week. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:25 So that being said, what we're going to do is the same thing yesterday. want to throw in a super chat today you can but i would rather you guys for the question portions of the show just put it towards the um the the the kickstarter and you can do that and even if you want to you want to like hey you know what i put stuff in there but i was going to throw in a ten dollar super chat i'm going to highlight your comment put an extra 10 towards the thing if you're going to do that if you're going to so here's here's where we stand right now we're at 175 374 uh we had a pretty good day yesterday raised over 10K yesterday, which is amazing. So I thank you guys there for that.
Starting point is 00:12:03 And if we can do, like I said, if we can, Mike doesn't even know that we're doing this. Oh, he doesn't? No, I didn't even tell him. But I know. You think he's going to say no to that? You do realize that that will probably be the end of him. We'll never see him again.
Starting point is 00:12:21 He'll get lost. Yeah. Yeah. He'll get in a candy store. But he'll know everybody. He'll know everybody. So that's where we stand right now. So at one, but we want to rely on the, on the audience here today before we get into our stories of what do you think a good goal would be at 178 today?
Starting point is 00:12:44 PLD, I want the audience to chime in with that. And then if you can highlight those as they come in, because yesterday we got, I mean, I believe that the suggestion for The Conjuring came from the audience. I believe that there were other really good ideas that came in. I mean, hell, Sam's going to be a manager now because of the audience. So the audience has been really, did you, oh, did you not know that? Oh, yeah, Sam's coming in as a manager of the Shmowdown as well. So that people are wondering who's, you know, who shall manage and whatnot. You mean I get to, I get to manager against manager against Sam?
Starting point is 00:13:20 Yeah, potentially. If you have people, people mentioned, you know, potentially having Sam manage Chris Carr, which I thought was interesting. What did someone mention to have her manage yesterday that I thought was really interesting? Honestly, Sam managing Saul would be hilarious. Well, Saul's not in the tournament. Oh, okay. I don't know. I don't know everybody who's in there.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I thought you haven't announced everybody yet. So, how's an IG guy. That's also true. Yeah, that's true. So, oh, Makuga was the one. It was Makuga. Yeah. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. that was a good one um all right so and and the last thing for that is that Winston and Chris we already sent the emails out you guys got to respond to um PLD he's setting it up Luke will help with the movie itself and I'd like that that's cool that's why he said it he said that as an invite no he said it at midnight oh midnight so we need to um we need to get that locked in because I want to get that recorded ASAP I'd like to run that reaction within the next two weeks, if possible, if you guys are able to do it,
Starting point is 00:14:30 because I think the audience will respond to that as well. So, all right, let's get to, I'm actually going to start, not with that, I mean, to me, this I think we're going to change our topic anyway on, and our thumbnail, so this will be our main story. We said that the X-Men casting was going to overtake this show every time a big story came in, right? So now they may have found Mystique.
Starting point is 00:14:53 And the rumor is that Elf, Fanning. Oh. Could potentially play the MCSys Mystique. They're looking at her and a few others, I think. So according to a new rumor, Marvel Studios is a short list of actresses in mind to play mystique in the upcoming X-Men reboot with El Fanning as a contender. Marvel Studios appears eager to put a fresh spin on the X-Men franchise with his upcoming reboot.
Starting point is 00:15:17 And Magneto has been sidelined to focus on Mr. Sinister. The master of magnetism was front and center in every 20th century Fox movie. Featuring the mutant team, so that's no bad thing. It's not the only big change. Wolverine, who had a significant presence throughout the franchise, seemingly won't factor into its first chapter, allowing mutants like Cyclaps, Emma Frost, and Angel to shine. There have been rumors for a while that Mystique might factor into X-Men. However, her prominent role throughout the original and prequel movies has led to many fans,
Starting point is 00:15:46 assuming that Raven Dark Home will similarly sideline for the time being. Unverified rumors on social media claim that Elfanning is being eyed to play MCU's Mystique, while she appears to be the frontrunner, Hunter Schaefer, and Melissa Barrera may also be in contention. We'd suggest taking these claims of the pinch of salt for now, though several X-Men casting announcements were simply revealed on social media before the official announcement. There's much more to mystique than we've previously seen on screen, so filmmaker Jake Shrier could still have a fresh approach in mind to the character. Let's say, I think that's pretty much it.
Starting point is 00:16:19 So, Winston, you hear these reports, you hear these rumors, with Elf Vanden kind of being the frontrunner, in their opinion, what do you think if Elf Manning is Mystique? I am not, I pulled up her filmography. I obviously know the name. I'm not really familiar with her world. Oh, really? Like, I'm familiar with Dakota's, obviously.
Starting point is 00:16:43 I mean, Elle's popped out more of as a star over the last five years. She's been in a lot of time. Margot's got money troubles. Yes, and she also was just in that movie that got all the Oscar nomination. last year that was with a skeleton scars guard and um she's she's everywhere now and she was just in predator badlands
Starting point is 00:17:02 yeah and did you see predator badlands yeah so she's she's she's she's she's like a bunch of stuff that like I've heard plenty about but haven't seen um because I didn't see I didn't see the Dylan thing I feel like I remember with a complete unknown that they said that
Starting point is 00:17:19 Timmy was good but people were like the movie was me so I just which one a complete unknown? Movies great. I heard that he was good, but the movie overall was great. I felt that way about that. Maybe it was Springsteen you heard that about?
Starting point is 00:17:35 Oh, maybe. Yeah, Springsteen definitely was that was the case. Okay. Because clearly it was nominated for a bunch of stuff. I thought it was just, to me, that was. I didn't understand. Anyway, the point is, I'm not,
Starting point is 00:17:48 I'm not entirely, entirely familiar with, like, her performance. She's obviously been acting since she was three. so you know she's got the chops as far as like experience goes i think my favorite uh of the casting rumors was hunter schaefer i just think that hunter is a very very good actress um you know everything that she did in euphoria and whatnot so i thought that that was a good fit but but again you know the pedigree um and whatnot i think that that would crush it if if you know based on on the fact that she's been blowing up everywhere.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Oh, yeah. Yeah, she's ever... Hunter Schaefer and Elfany have a very similar, like, look. Right, when I look at Hunter Schaeber, they have a very similar look. Melissa Barrera has a very different look than the three of them. Now, they're all going to be blue anyway, so whoever gets cast. But when they're in human form, Melissa Barger, I don't necessarily know...
Starting point is 00:18:45 The only thing that I've really seen of her are the screen movies, and you don't really have to define your acting chops too much in those movies. I think she was okay. I thought she was okay. I thought she was solid for those movies, you know. Could she carry the whole role as Mystique? Let's see where the audition goes. If they think that she nails it in the audition and that's, you know, where they're going to go, well, then so be it. But to me, I have game tape on Al Fanning and Hunter Schaefer, I've heard from you and Roxy on Euphoria and the things that she's done. So, um, Are there other things?
Starting point is 00:19:25 So Sam says that Melissa Brera is, is amazing. I just, well, what else has she been in, Sam? Because I haven't seen anything outside of the screen. So that very well could be, could be the truth. I just have not seen. And she was in the Heights. I never saw that either. Oh, that was, that was good.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Yeah. So like I said, I'm just going off the game tape I saw on the screen movies, but then we can see what she does on, you know, the audition. and it's like, and then nails it. In the Heights is what people say, okay. People say she's great in the Heights. So, and that had had amazing reviews from performance totally around. So, so then, you know, I've many times, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:07 She did, I just pulled her up right now. It looks like she did a Broadway, she had a Broadway debut of Titanica, which is, I guess, like a, it looks like it potentially a Latin spin on Titanic that's that's was originally off Broadway but I guess it's on Broadway now and she's
Starting point is 00:20:33 playing Rose she's apparently crushing it okay well there you go so maybe she's a perfect cast for this then I don't know like I said there's been look let's go back to our conversation that we had on Collider where I was raving about Robert Pattinson you didn't and I said this guy I saw Rover.
Starting point is 00:20:50 I saw this. I had the game tape. You didn't, right? So you were like, ah, the guy from Twilight, how's he going to now? And now we know where we stand with that. And that's the same,
Starting point is 00:20:59 and that could be the same thing here. So it's not like, oh, come on. It's, okay. Well, they saw her for a reason. Let's see how she does. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I said Titanic, I good, because I can't speak. Titanic, I guess. Oh, okay. Yeah, it's just kind of, okay. Yeah, no,
Starting point is 00:21:16 I think any of the three of them would work well, My favorite would be Hunter. And then, yeah, I would just kind of see how it goes. All right. So what do you guys think about the cast here? Do you like this? Do you think that El Fannie or any of these actresses could potentially be a good mystique?
Starting point is 00:21:34 Or is it just rumor mill? And that's all we should look at it is rumor mill. So put your thoughts in there. Let us know exactly what you think. I want to hear your thoughts. Okay. The other thing that I wanted to show you was that. And this is another thing that,
Starting point is 00:21:49 Maybe people, you know, as we're going to look, we got to come up with that 178 and see what we can get at 178. Really, any good ideas so far at 178? Nothing. Audience isn't fucking doing shit. I'm just kidding. So one of the things that I do want to show you guys and Winston, how about this? That's a brand, look at that brand new one in the bottom there. Oh, oh, is that for the for the, the UAP channel?
Starting point is 00:22:12 Yeah, down to earth. Those are official down to earth sneakers that are up there now, too. Those are fire. Right? Those are awesome. So those I think are actually available as add-ons now. For that, I'm looking. You gotta be at least $1,000.
Starting point is 00:22:26 No, no, they're not. I'm looking down here now, too. Where are the add-ons? All the add-ons are right here. I'm going to them. Give me a second. I'll tell you right now. Where are there?
Starting point is 00:22:37 There's it, though. Yeah, the designs are there right now. So you can do that. I'm trying to think where the hell. With the glow in the dark laces. Yeah, you see them? Yeah, the glow in the dark laces. So I'm trying to try to see where the hell you can do the
Starting point is 00:22:50 And do the add-ons Where I can try and click on the button. Why isn't it working? Oh, I've got it right here. It's under the add-ons section. It has its own one with the way. Yeah, but you got to glow into dark places. Yeah, but you got to no, no, I have that but you know,
Starting point is 00:23:06 it doesn't give the price on it. So if I want to, if I'm going to change my, you got to change your pledge and let me see if we can go down the add-ons on. The add-ons I think they're down here. to find out how much you're like to do because i want to get them myself um where the hell options can't find them pldee let me know because this is it's uh difficult for me right now i'm trying to do this and i can't find it so there's the add-ons right at rewards add-ons can't find the damn the damn sneakers uh 400 oh okay i mean for those yeah those are those are pretty awesome yeah they're the same
Starting point is 00:23:46 they're the same prices there's a trending ones right yeah okay so those are those are up there right now and they're pretty great i'll probably tell people about those on the uh and there's only how many how many are there like there's just five total only five total and the and the the trending sneakers went fast the trending ones so i think that those are those yeah those will go quick um so you know if people want the d tt i know there are some people who found us from dTE um if you want to get those check them out i'll talk about them on the on the uap video in a little bit uh we actually have a uap kind of related story that we'll get to but before we do it i want to tell people about um what we've got going on with warby parker and everybody's been reaching out to me about
Starting point is 00:24:33 warby parker now uh i got to bring my i'm gonna bring my my sunglasses in on on monday to show you everybody but yeah let me tell you about war i did nice dude did you did you uh because you know i sent you that glasses stand thing did you did you did you did Getting anything like that for your... No, yeah. No. Dude, you should... I know. I feel like you should get it, man.
Starting point is 00:24:52 I think I need to get it for these new sunglasses, so I don't lose them. Because if I lose these, I'm going to be very upset. Yes, because reading glasses, I'm assuming you're just getting them from Walgreens or whatever. Yeah, I just... Well, I get them on Amazon, actually. Oh, okay. They're like, because I know I lose them and break them all the time. So it's like...
Starting point is 00:25:08 But, you know, the funny thing is... I don't know if I told you this, but, you know, I did that 10-hour stream, obviously, the other night. And then I was on the phone call with Andrew and Martini. and Craig and we were going over everything and um they're like well answer's like are you going to do any more like streams and I said well I do my my normal one but I'm planning on doing two more 10-hour streams I was like but one in the middle of the campaign and one at the end and I don't know what I well I know what it was I was delirious from the from the Tuesday stream and I'm like yeah that's not
Starting point is 00:25:38 until the 15th and then the 30th and I'm like nope the first day was the 22nd So the second one, it'll be closer to my birthday. My birthday is October 1st, but I'm not going to be doing on the first. I'll probably wind up doing the live stream on either the 5th or the 6th. I got to see, because I know I have a screening for like the social reckoning during one of those times. So I might do the either the 6th or maybe even the 7. I don't know. But then the last live stream will be on the 23rd, which will be the last day of the campaign Friday the 23rd.
Starting point is 00:26:15 So we'll do a total of three of them for sure. Okay. I mean, you told me that and good on you, man. I typically can only stomach like a marathon stream like a quarter at most. I can't do three essentially at a month is nuts. It's going to be tough. It's going to be hard to do. I'm still not really, I'm not really recovered from Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:26:41 No, because it takes it out of you because like you said, like when I came in at one point, like can you hold the fort i have to be well it was that and it's just it was still trying to kind of catch up overall and i did um i get an opportunity was at like i had it was at a dinner last night and it felt like it was the first time i was able to just kind of chill out and relax for a second at some uh you know there's good food a couple of drinks that's just started out there you're going to do a stream on the seventh and then do a comedy show on the eighth oh shit right oh your shows on the eighth yeah maybe maybe maybe i have to wait until after that i can't i can't I can't have this, I can't have this kind of headset, mindset going into a comedy show.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I'll forget my, well, I'll just forget my stuff. So maybe I'll probably have to do it after. After or before, you know, I don't know yet. We'll see where we're at. You know the other thing. I don't know how you, right, because I didn't watch the whole thing. I was popping in and out every now and again. I mean, especially knowing that you're doing more than one,
Starting point is 00:27:43 I think one of the things that may help, the same way that you're offering a behind the scenes like perks for trending it may not be a bad idea to like i'm sure people would be interested in seeing a little bit of the behind the scenes of you trying to do the other stuff that you do so if there is kind of production stuff like yeah it's just a matter of how to record that you know it's like no no but but i mean you still you would still be like i mean i don't know how much streaming you watch people do outside of this type but there's there's plenty of times where people are on like you still want to put on a per like a show as you normally do, but like if one of the hours is literally you have your lunch and you're talking
Starting point is 00:28:20 with PLD and Luke and you're just doing the like production stuff that you do. I'm sure people would be interested in that. Yeah, it could be. Like I said, there's a few, there's a few different options of things. I just have to figure out how, I mean, I know for a fact the last day is the definitely the streaming day, right? It's just a matter of finding that second one. Even if it's like maybe it's a longer live show, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:28:40 We'll have to figure the second one out. The third one we know for sure. And then I got a, I got a call. I got to call out the chat for a second. I know I'm not supposed to be in there, but a lot of them are saying Sidney, Sweeney, for Mystique, and I'm sorry, until you can show me. You're like a fucking cat with a string.
Starting point is 00:28:56 I am. It's like, it's like, we're in the middle of the conversation. I'm still in the conversation. Look, it's one of those things. It's like, huh. Okay, I'm back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:10 That's how Fernandez was in the middle collider meetings. You'd be like talking about some of the pictures of something. Well, then where are my millions? That's what I want to know. Good businessman. He's a good businessman. So anyway, so we got a lot coming up to, but I will say, again, we hit 176. We got to figure out of that 178 goal. Me and you will figure that.
Starting point is 00:29:30 I'll see what we can do. It's 178. We're getting close already for that one. So let's get into this. We talked about it beforehand. Projects for 178 goal or another goal, a movie reaction with a former Shmonaunuchat or a champion. It's a pretty good. Like, who would that be?
Starting point is 00:29:47 See, the thing is, I, the one of the reasons that was intriguing to me to do the conjuring with Winston and Chris was that they could be in the same room together. So I would, I really like when people are in the same room together. So something along that, you know what I could do is maybe what we could do is I'll make, you know what I'll do? I'll tell you what. I will, I will call, how about this? And this could be interesting. Maybe people want this. So people don't want this, but I can put it on the table.
Starting point is 00:30:18 At 178, I will call a competitor that I have not asked to be part of the tournament, live on the air, to be part of the 16-person tournament, and I'll bring up four people that I've been thinking about asking, and the chat can vote on which one I call. That's interesting. So at 178, that's what I'll do. And Ed or everybody else, let the showdown group know this. So basically what I'll do, again, to reiterate, at 178, if we hit that today, I will give you guys an option of four competitors that I've been thinking of to potentially be in the tournament.
Starting point is 00:31:01 And then you guys will vote. And I will call that person and ask them live on air if they will be part of the tournament. Wow. I mean, that sounds like a pretty good deal with me. I like that. So that's one thing, and we can think of some other stuff too. And then again, 200K, if we hit it today by 1159 p.m., I will send Mike Kalanowski to the Avian awards to cover for the town.
Starting point is 00:31:27 That is genuinely hilarious. Yeah. And it's funny story about that. So one of my buddies that I met playing dodgeball like a decade ago was just, was like out of work for the longest time in the industry. And then ended up PAing for, for. adult films and like now as a producer and has like been crushing it so like he actually got he got nominated for a non non adult performer acting role uh last year oh yeah yeah he was he's he's been he's been crushing it man so it's so that being said if you send mike i can he'll probably be there so i can
Starting point is 00:32:06 try and like have mike he might be able to get some extra interviews via via my buddy so what's this do we get most of what no actually no we got so a lot of because we we did like the first the first 24 hours was like 1 45 when close to it and then we did another I think it was another 15 or 13 day two and then 10 yesterday so I don't know if that was supposed to be like a jab with the l-ol but no usually that's usually how you might be new to how things work um in Kickstarter but normally it's the first 24 hours is the most second and third but is that way Eric actually yeah follow that up in the in the in the comments I'm not sure what I'm not sure what you mean it typically is the first 24 then you see kind of like this yeah and that's what happens last minute at the last couple days it
Starting point is 00:33:01 tends to shoot again because there's a big push and people that have done it if they found more money and things like that so yeah that's how it's how it usually always goes so it's like the first like 24 hours and then yeah so let me I'm gonna double chance I'm gonna see see what he said because you might have been actually legit question or he might have been being a ball bag either way
Starting point is 00:33:20 I'd like to find out yeah I don't know if it was I'd like to let him follow it up he might he might say no no no I was I was generally curious but he threw an LOL in there and you know how I feel about LOLs but I'm not gonna but I don't I told myself I'm not doing that thing anymore that I'm doing where I'm gonna start
Starting point is 00:33:37 saying the guy's ball bag and then I go, oh, I'm just kidding. He's not because he just said something else. Yeah, exactly. See? Look, look. Exactly. No balls here.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Okay, that's what, see? And that's why I didn't go after it. He's just asking a legit question. It's normally how it works, Eric, is that you go, goes big on day one. And again, because think about this. This is the other side of it, is that for the ask of what we're asking on day one and for day one or the overall, right?
Starting point is 00:34:06 imagine if we would imagine if we if our initial goal was 80,000 and we would have doubled that in day one right and it's just it was it's a it's a bigger ask in the audience size that we have and where but we also I don't want to I don't want to do a low budget version of the show I want to do the actual streaming kind of looks like it's been on television for a long time version of the show and that's the boardwalk version of that is around 350 so we're working on it um And that's it. So, yeah, exactly. This is the, see, and he follows it up with a nice thing.
Starting point is 00:34:43 See, I'm so glad, Winston. I'm so glad, see, I did good, me, thanks. I, so, for the thing, if you're not calling everybody a ballback, I'm trying to pull, I know you look, that you also play memes on the show. I'm trying to pull one for you that I think is perfect, where literally you take the second to just go, what do you mean by that? And just give it a second. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:04 I know, yeah. No, it's 100%. That's why I make sure that I've been caught. I mean, Thanos pants and a bunch of other people who have been caught in that crossfire. And I don't want Eric to be caught in that crossfire. What's up, Dillard? I have a goal idea for you. If you hit a certain goal, you recreate the bastard and host the show to as host the show as the bastard.
Starting point is 00:35:23 I don't know. There's no world that I would be able to do that. There's no way. I don't, dude, I was 21 years old, 22 years old when I did that. I can't, there's no, there's no world I can, for, I can barely, those were cuts I wasn't doing that I wasn't doing that for 13 minutes doing that at 22 years old I was doing that with cuts I could do a whole show like that I'm about a segment I have a segment of the show I guess that's that's that's what about what about what
Starting point is 00:35:49 about what about a story like not even just a full segment just read the story is the best no the bass is retired the bass is retired and plus if I's not really and I would I would want to I would want to collaborate that with it's not even my character it's my it's it's Michael Taylor's character. He created it. I was just an actor in it. But, you know, I had my ideas and thoughts of how, and I added my flavor to it, but like he, it was
Starting point is 00:36:15 his character. So, um, all right, let's get to this is hilarious. Kick track is showing a potential final 1.8 with only three days a day that is a lot of margin forever. I think that's definitely. Yeah. And it's like I said, but they're also taking consideration that first day. Which is fair. I also
Starting point is 00:36:33 based on how trending it's trending, that makes sense. But at the same time, that's a crazy thing to be like, yeah, it's going to make $1.8 million. Yeah, I mean, that's, I mean, that's going to be, you know, Schmodown's going to, would benefit from that. We could probably do a couple episodes, probably get some pretty big actors in that. We probably get exactly the director of photographer we want. We got all the locations.
Starting point is 00:37:00 My character back in the pilot. She did everything. get everything well i'm gonna do there's and i tell you the same thing i told everybody else too that things are going to be reworked and retooled for things it was the series anyway so maybe the character that you even were gonna be could be somebody else sure sure sure sure sure it's like there's there's tons of other things that we could do like we let's got to get the thing on we gotta get the thing to series first no no yeah obviously i know you are i know you i know i know but it's it's funny though man i got i have to give you a lot of credit i was already in a mode right now
Starting point is 00:37:31 of really just retooling and focusing on my acting career independently instead of just like because I've had a lot of really good auditions. I've done a couple features this year. I did that big World Cup commercial. So like I've had good stuff. But you you really kind of were inspiring me as far as stuff goes. So like even yesterday, I penned like three sketches that I'm shooting this weekend and just kind of the same thing, just having an added focus.
Starting point is 00:38:01 that, you know, my cat brain, that it allowed me to kind of bring it back in. So, like, again, I just, you know, I said it when we were on the marathon stream. You're not just a good friend. You have a way of pulling hustle out of people. Oh, thank you. And it's because I worry that you don't sleep is.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Sleep is actually not a problem. Sleeping, I'll get enough. there it's just a matter of once I start the day it's just I don't it's it's it's being able to relax during the day that isn't isn't often um but there is uh thank you for saying that very nice of you um i was thinking the other thing to to put myself out there as well and you're gonna say well you're only doing that because it's a very hard goal and you would be correct um but i'll tell you if we hit 180 today because i've said i've never watched this movie and i would be i'd go kick and screaming. I'll watch the first terror, terrifier at, at 180. That's no, no budge. And I'll,
Starting point is 00:39:09 I'll, I'll do it with Sam. So, okay, what, what is it with the terrifier? Is it that it's like really, it's, it's, it's like, real, it's more really gross and disgusting. It is disgusting. It's just, like, disgusting more so than scary. And that's what I hate. I don't like that. It's like, it's, not, not because I'm like, oh, I just, it just, I don't feel the, I don't, I don't, I don't, see the need for it in movies and even there was one recently that was like i remember what was going on and i was the mummy i and i literally went like this this side i'm like is it over okay great i get it for the most part most most stuff like that doesn't necessarily like i can occasionally get that way but that that kind of stuff i tend to laugh because it's not it feels fake as like no even oh i don't know
Starting point is 00:39:55 i don't know from what this is really so so but this is the only time ever going to offer because i thoroughly have said many times over, I will never watch that fucking move. Never. And nothing against the fact that I applaud them for what they did. And it very well might be a great movie and the audience loves it. I have nothing as a movie. I just know that it's supposed to be really gore heavy. That's not my thing. So that's why I will put that on the table because I put you guys out there and you're uncomfortable zone with conjuring and you're guys going to be watching that and you do that. So that's what I have at the at the time. See like people, this is, this is what I'm saying. So like, right. So. So. Oh, wow. Yeah. So that's what's all I've heard about it.
Starting point is 00:40:33 So they are saying see, the second one, not the first one. The first one's like a rough student film. The second one was really the first like real big terrifier movie. But it's don't you have to make. Don't you have to know the first one for the lore? I don't think you'd probably figure out the lore by it pretty quickly. All right. Well, the audience can decide. Yo, so what is the conjuring even about? Um, well, you know, let's let's do this story first. And then during our question segments, we'll bring that up and we'll talk about the conjuring because the conjuring is a great movie by this only it's one of the only horror movies I've ever given five out of five wow you have a five out of five um yeah
Starting point is 00:41:08 I love that movie it's scary though but I love it yeah I'm not looking forward to it I just I'm but it's a good movie but that see but I didn't put you guys in a position of like watching a movie that you're like oh that was terrible and I'm gross and scared it's a good movie it's a really good movie um all right so let's get into this because we were talking about we as I showed and I don't know if we can Peelty can you double check and see if we already sold one of these the shoe that's out there now
Starting point is 00:41:40 I know that we I know that the trending shoe is gone but the the down-to-earth alien shoe is up there now too and there's there's limited left so they're up there now but the reason I also bring that up is because this story broke yesterday this and I actually did it on my down-to-earth channel I did a a segment about this. This to me is a major story, um,
Starting point is 00:42:03 not only in the UAP community, but it could potentially be something that opens up people's eyes in general to this topic, but it depends on how it's done. So Terrence Winter is going to adapt Jay Stratton's out of the shadows memoir about investigating unidentified UAPs. Oh, it was a TV series. I thought it was a movie. Okay, it's a TV series. That's interesting. That's really interesting. Okay, I thought yesterday when I reported it on, I thought it was a movie, which is even more so, even more interesting now. So let me get back to this. Terence Winter, boardwalk empire, Tulsa King, Sopranos,
Starting point is 00:42:41 set to develop a TV series based on the upcoming memoir by former senior U.S. intelligence official Jay Stratton, the central figure in the U.S. government's modern investigation of unidentified anomalous phenomena and non-human intelligent life. Winter has partnered on the project with Dan Farrah, who is a director, producer of the recent UAP documentary Age of Disclosure, who acquired the film and TV rights to the book. As the chief of air and space warfare in the Defense Warning Office of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Stratton specialized in emerging and disruptive aerospace technologies, ultimately focusing on investigating UAP.
Starting point is 00:43:13 In the early days of my investigation into UAP and non-human intelligent life, my work was also classified. I couldn't even tell my wife and my kids that I learned we are not alone in the universe or about any of the paradigm shift information I was learning, Stratton said. I had to live a double life where the front door to my house served as a boundary between two distinct identities, but that all changed when we started having UAP activity and encounters with non-human intelligent life at our house and my wife and kids saw it with their own eyes. Winter, who executive produces via his cold front productions, noted that Stratton's story has elements of some of his favorite shows, Homeland, the Americans, Hunt for Red October, all the President's Men's Spotlight and the Big Short for all of human history.
Starting point is 00:43:51 mankind has wondered whether we're not whether or whether we are the only intelligent life in the universe winter said j straton shocking true story answers that question as it more more as it dives into the world of u.s government's investigation of uap and non-human intelligent life it's a riveting journey into a public world that no one knows that people know little about stratton's memoir out of the shadows we published on october 13th um and that out of the shadows has the propulsive storytelling of high-stakes political thriller it brings you behind the scenes of the U.S. government's investigation of the biggest mystery of all time. At the center of the story is the deeply personal harrowing told Jay's pursuit of the truth had on him, his family,
Starting point is 00:44:29 and we tend to fully explore that in our show. Winter is an Oscar nominee for the local Wall Street, won four Emmys for The Sopranos. He created an executive produced boardwalk empire, and most recently served as executive producer, showrunner, on Tulsa King. Okay, so here's why I believe this is important, right? And one of the things is, it really depends, they say they're based on the memoir right so are they is it essentially like a biopic of the memoir that's what i was going to ask is this supposed to be like in that kind of vein that's the question right the question is is someone are they going to get an actor to play j stratton or are they getting or is is terence winter essentially taking this memoir and making his own kind of political
Starting point is 00:45:15 idea based off the things that have happened right so i hope that it is the um I hope that it's the former, right? I would like to see the, them really take Jay Stratton's story, make it a bike, have somebody play them and play him and then get attention that way because this is the, I yesterday on my video, I essentially said the reason why it's important is Steven Spielberg's disclosure day,
Starting point is 00:45:46 and there's a lot of people in the audience that didn't like that movie, right? Didn't dig it. I liked the movie. I don't think it did a damn thing for furthering the conversation for someone who went in to see it, who had no idea what was going on with UAPs or even he just, oh, I just wanted to a Spielberg movie, another Spielberg movie about aliens. That's all they're going to take from that. I don't care how many times Spielberg's walking around talking about, well, I think that we're probably not alone, right?
Starting point is 00:46:11 And the other thing, I don't think it's feel, and I say that the first thing I will say, to preface this is that I am not talking about myself because I'm not really doing interviews on that channel but i think that spielberg made a mistake or his publicity team made a mistake about not having him be on all of the kind of uap channels that cover this thing whether it's um you know uh george nap and jeremy corbell and there's a there's a lot of things out there the people who cover this particular topic that would have been interesting to do that will happen here because dan farrah who is the producers did age of disclosure and that was one of the most at least most recent one that got a lot of mainstream coverage and people talking about it i have
Starting point is 00:46:53 friends that were like didn't even know what they're like i i don't know this top what this top is crazy and then you're watching my friend john is like now he's all in because the age of disclosure right um dan farrah because he got the rights to this thing i think we'll get more coverage more people talking about it and depending on who you get to star in it if people find out that this stuff the j strat and say you need you don't have to believe what he's saying but the fact that he's even saying it. They should, Jay Stratton has not testified though at these public
Starting point is 00:47:24 hearings. Um, yet. And the reason for that is because there's no whistleblower protection for these guys. Um, that is the thing that has benefits and other things and NDAs and things that, there's just things that they say they're working on them to clear them, but they haven't.
Starting point is 00:47:42 And so he is one of the, there's rules that you can, you know, you can talk about it at certain things, but under oath I don't know the full extent of it. But this to me, with this team, could be very interesting to get the conversation of, oh, that's interesting. This is really based on a real guy's life.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Like, as someone who's not really in the topic that much, Winston, if this TV show was out there and it was started, people started talking about it and like, oh, have you watched that show, whatever the hell it's called, in the shadows, or have you watched that show yet? And it's about this UAP thing. It's supposed to so-and-so was in. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Have you seen it yet? And you found out it was real, or at least like I said all this stuff, was real. Would it peak your interest a little bit more than maybe it would have previously? Yeah. I personally would, one of my favorite movies in recent memory is the big short. So if you go that route, if you kind of make it an edutainment kind of like film in that regard, I would, because I found myself after the big short going and researching even more. so yeah if you did something similar you've got a solid cast in there and you really kind of had been i i would
Starting point is 00:48:55 instantly be like okay what's what's because i think that's the thing i think we have gotten there has been a spike in people's interests in documentaries um but this is outside of documentaries oh wins i'm talking about the topic in general the fact that this guy is saying that he has not only you know seen recovered craft and been around recovered crap this is a guy who said he's he has seen as proof of other of of you know extraterrestrial um bodies and this isn't just somebody this is a guy who ran he was a top level executive government guy this wasn't just some there david grush there was a guy that was a top um he was a top guy but was really doing work j stratin was his boss so like this is the guy he was in charge of all this stuff right but but i but i guess that's
Starting point is 00:49:48 whole thing. If you're talking about a means to get people as an avenue in, right. That's because it's the same thing. If you go like the big short obviously talking about like the financial and housing crisis and all that kind of stuff and, and you know, all those predatory loans, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's one of those things where like for most people, it was like, yeah, man, things were horrible. I don't know what all was going on. It was horrible. But then you gave me an easy explainable avenue and you put drama in it, it was one of those things where it just became an interesting subject. I think about like during the pandemic, we all love Michael Jordan, but think about how much the last dance blew up. And again, I know that's a documentary and not
Starting point is 00:50:32 like an actual dramatization, but the idea of like knowledge as far as that goes, if you presented it in a way that that is just going to grip people, they'll be, they will show up. And I think this is a solid way to get people to genuinely be like, I want to know more about this. Yeah. I'm curious what you guys think. Is this, I don't know where you stand on the topic. I don't know if you've ever paid attention to the topic at all,
Starting point is 00:50:58 but the same question that I asked Winston goes to you guys. If you were, if you were on the fence about this or just skeptical about it, but they were making a television show about a guy who claims to do the, had done the things that Jay Stratton did, and they were going to make that a full season with the writer of Sopranos and producer of Sopranos and Tulsa King and Borough Empire, would that intrigue? Or would you need to hear more about it? Put your thoughts in there. Let us know. All right, Winston, we're going to do, we're going to do, we're going to do some stuff. We're going to talk with the audience here today.
Starting point is 00:51:37 And yeah, go ahead. The shoes. There's two of five available, as far as I can say. Two of five. So people wiped out three of them already. Correct. There's only tight. So there's only, there are only two more. From what I can tell.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Right now, there are only two more of those shoes left. So if you guys want them, you should get them now because they're going, they're going pretty quick. Yeah, and this is a reminder. We're currently, and the things that are on the table,
Starting point is 00:52:04 we had 200 by 11.59 p.m. tonight. I'll send Mike Kalinowski eventually to the Avian Awards to cover those. if we get to 1 what I say 170 no we are at 170 180 so we get to 180 so we get to 180 today then I will watch Terrifier
Starting point is 00:52:26 but not the end of the day by the end of the stream 180 and then if we get to 178 I will I would call a competitor invite them on to participate into the Shmodeown tournament for sure I want to see if there's anybody else that I could.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Should we prank call somebody? Oh, that's always fun. Prank call and somebody's always fun. We were going to do that to you. I was hoping that's all yesterday was and then y'all were talking. No, we were going to, well, initially, initially that's what it was. It was a prank call to you and then someone suggested conjuring. So that's a better one.
Starting point is 00:53:02 But the problem that's going to come from that, Winston, that if it does really well in the channel, then number two is going to be offered. You know? what's number two conjuring two yeah the whole conjuring universe there's like night of those films oh well the actual conjuring series itself though i mean yeah because you get like the nun and everything else too the yeah um all right armada do a deer conjuring reaction at gregg's studio well we wouldn't be able to do that i'm not that's not that's not hey gregg can we use your studio to shoot uh i mean it need an EP on your show I mean, yeah, I mean, that's true.
Starting point is 00:53:43 I mean, I guess we could ask him, but I don't know, I don't know if it's busy or not. Like, you know what we'll do first. We'll see if, because it's also a little bit of a drive for you guys. Well, I don't necessarily. You're in the valley. You're in the valley. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:56 So, um, but let's, let's see if Chris Carr has a capability to do it from her place. And if she doesn't, then maybe we can make that phone call. Yeah. It's not a bad idea. In theory, I could set, something up in my living room. It would just have to cut. You'd have to cut, the sound of the movie would have to not be picked up.
Starting point is 00:54:17 You got to remember that. Well, that's, I mean, that I feel like could be an easy solution in two ways. The first being, we can figure it. We're going to figure it out with Luke. We'll figure it with Luke. The second question is Armada. Can Mike bring the IG belt to the Avians? Well, he's not the champ.
Starting point is 00:54:35 He's not the champ. But that would be hilarious if we've sent it to Mike and he's taking that, that around. and absolutely hilarious. Hawaii, 1927. Christian for the conjuring reaction, Winston and Chris should show their heart rates on the screen. Not sure if it can be done with an Apple Watch, but streamers do it and it can be hilarious. Luke, can we look into that? I mean, I have an Apple Watch and I now have this ringcon thing.
Starting point is 00:55:01 So if there's a way to do that, sure. But yeah, the other thing I was just going to say as far as if we do the setup here or whatever, just since we're trying to figure this out, I do. remember i got those like lobs those wireless lobs too so if we need to just have that audio on us right here it shouldn't pick up the movie right um yeah again lu luke will will he'll be able to figure out how the best way to do it and then once and then once you do we'll just send the the the footage off to the editors and we'll we'll take we'll get the movie so it's not a bit go uh josh rock have you hit up santino no one of the things that i'm trying to do today is um i'm because when i mean uh mings coming
Starting point is 00:55:40 in and then Matt Sarah's coming in. I'm going to do something for his show. And then Ming and I are going to finish up Invincible season three. So my goal, I love it so far. It's just a matter of getting, doing the finale finally. So I am, my goal is to try to reach out to podcasts and then shoot a DTE video. That's what I'm trying to do. It's just my time.
Starting point is 00:56:06 I just don't have enough time. I did shoot, I did shoot episode seven. lanterns with um with sam today fieldy so um that's that's uh that's already in the in the fold how are you liking that because we haven't talked about that when we so i really like i didn't love the last episode um it was okay this is kind of dull um but it but i think it's set up things right pretty well and i think i think that this episode made that one better seven makes six better oh duh we just did we just saw six so you're ahead i just finished seven yeah to this morning Because I didn't realize that they had put,
Starting point is 00:56:41 I thought they only did like the first couple episodes for the press. Did they send you the whole thing? Not the whole thing, no. Okay. So I've seen seven. I just haven't seen eight yet. I don't even know if I'm, but this one will air Sunday right after the episode.
Starting point is 00:56:58 And we wanted to make sure he did that because next week, Sam's coming in and we're just going to try to knock out a bunch of stuff. Okay. That's the goal anyway. is just to have like a, because we miss so many freaking, um, we were supposed to have Justice League out already, so Amanda and Grogo out already during the Kickstarter campaign and it just didn't work.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Um, so the answer to that, Josh is I'm going to be reaching out to Andrew and a bunch of other people soon as as soon as I can get my, my schedule up to, to, you know, uh,
Starting point is 00:57:30 to make those calls and, and emails. Rob McDonald is Chris and Winston, a Halloween hard and it's a no go. It's a no go currently. It's no-go currently. It might be another, because it didn't hit $1.95 last night. So my question to Winston and Chris will be like, all right, now that we have hit 200,
Starting point is 00:57:49 can we do a stretch goal of $250 that you guys will go there? And it's the same conversation again that Winston ought to be like, well, let's just say. And that's it. Okay. Let me see. I mean, I don't know. Send to me, please. okay all right now next one is rob we did that one okay mike here's an idea maybe have ming be a
Starting point is 00:58:15 manager uh ming wouldn't be the best manager as far as trying out goes but he my goal is that if you know we can he'll be able to get out there eventually at the series goes because i think he could be training people you know what i was going to say would be really funny if you wanted to include him in the schmodeown is having if i don't know if zepert and fowse is making an appearance but if that's Sir Rutan Flaus was being trained by Ming as a bit. I felt like that would be hilarious. That would be hilarious. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:45 I don't know. Yeah. I'm not going to once again, flying people out. Sure. That was a, that was a perk of getting to where we got is a Sam, you know,
Starting point is 00:58:55 so. All right, let's see. Now, currently, we're going to look and let's, let's bring that up again. Let's see. Currently,
Starting point is 00:59:03 we are at 176-0-44. or let's see if we can, like I said, there's no, I haven't taken any super chats. Unless you want to open it up and we do super chats instead, that's totally fine. You want to do that, but I was just to say if you guys want to throw, if you're not going to do super chats, you want to throw them towards the goal, then let's do that. We will bring back the chats on Monday, obviously, too, so we can bring back the competition for everybody.
Starting point is 00:59:32 Paw Patrol, can't wait for the Brad Bird interview. Thank you for doing a shout out. You're welcome. Hawaii. Oh, we did that one already. Yeah, we did that. Dill de Pickle figured out how to update it. For instance, there's an option at the end before you confirm.
Starting point is 00:59:44 It says bonus support and that's where you can add more. No, thank you. Have you given any thoughts to promote on Facebook? There are several Kickstarter Facebook pages devoted to Kickstarter campaigns with Facebook largely GenX there, your target audience. So Luke or PLD or somebody can you look into that? I'm doing fucking everything by myself here right now with this, with the promotions. stuff. I'm not blaming that on PLD and Luke. I'm saying in general with the, with the promotion side of what I'm doing with, you know, the YouTube and Instagram and those things. I would love,
Starting point is 01:00:14 I love these types of ideas. I would push out just since we have it. So it's Michael Timmons 4508. If you have anyone in particular, like if there's a Facebook page that you like are, can you throw that link in the chat just at like obviously Luke and PLD can do some research, but, but it would help if there's something in particular. Yeah, like what in particular, Yeah, exactly. If you can send that over to Luke and PLD or put that information out here so we know what to do next, that'd be great because that's super helpful. Sam, make Dan watch something funny like a bad movie. Well, Dan's not part of the overall crew, you know? Like, Dan's my friend, but like the overall, the crew has, it's like, by the way, like Winston and Chris are going to be paid to watch The Conjuring.
Starting point is 01:01:00 They're not just doing it for the kindness of their hearts, even though they're being nice. still doing it to get paid, which they should. Brad, I'm late to the party. Have you seen the rescue trailer yet? No, I don't, I'm telling you, unless there's something in particular, I don't really try, I try to not watch a lot of trailers. I just saw it, like, Raygun, and I did not watch a trailer. I just went in blind, so that's it. It's great, dude, going in blind.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Yeah, it's the best. Because you, obviously, because of press screenings, you don't ever, you, are you a member of AMCA list? No. Okay. So they do. I'm a subst member, though. Okay, okay. So, they do their whole screen unseen and typically it tends to be like mid to smaller or indie movies that they will put in there you occasionally get a big one here and there but it's you go in fully blind you have no idea what the movie is and it actually has been pretty great because if i haven't heard anything about a movie it like i knew nothing about the nirvana the the
Starting point is 01:01:59 movie the band oh yeah i heard that was really good it was really really good i would have never taken the time to go see that. And because it was in screen and seen, I was like, this was actually really great. Yeah, it was really solid. People were raving about that one. Christian, give grief. Oh, give grace,
Starting point is 01:02:16 Winston, if you're looking at the chat, they immediately follows up himself. Love it. Well, I mean, there's a difference, though. There's a difference when it's, you know, it's, I don't really respond or go into other people's chats when I'm a guest on the show. I just, it's a role that I have for myself.
Starting point is 01:02:32 Because I don't want to get to distract. on it and I don't know I just don't I just have I try not to do it I would say sometimes you know well but most most times and I never I don't I won't address it but like that's why if I was to rank who on the show it's the best and you know who the best and worst at the same time is Chris yes she's the best and worse that she's always in the chat and always responding but she's able to always be present in the conversation and you and if I didn't see her chatting in the conversation i wouldn't know that she's in the chat um mike actually isn't that bad every once in a while is you and roxie are the worst um rock roca roca roca is roca is near you guys
Starting point is 01:03:21 and and kevin's pretty good and i and i and i understand and that part of part of the reason why my brain does that beyond the ADHD is based on the shows that i host so like i am on Twitch streaming and interacting with the chat or I'm on blurds and we're interacting with the chat so like my I have to rewire my brain and I know I need to do better about that but but that's
Starting point is 01:03:44 it's an instinct happens I know I get it is it's it's it's it's super tempting I mean that's why I miss the studio I'm gonna be honest with you but I understand that obviously we right right yeah it was a lot well and also we didn't we never did live we were pre-taped back then we went back and forth we did we did we did we did lie like once or twice on the
Starting point is 01:04:04 the big thing stream but never never on a on a separate channel it was a separate channel um and then the we didn't start doing full on live i started doing live with rocca for the big thing show itself and then i made the show live with all of us when i moved here we did you and i did like a full like live a couple live stream q and a thing's but it was never a full on show um am i maybe i'm just i guess so because we would take the photos afterwards yeah that was that was pre-tape yeah yeah That was pretty tape. Yeah. All right, let's see.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Iosha. If we hit the 178K goal, Mike should read Josh Wilding articles with a smile on his face and praise his journalism. That's the type of stuff that we have to come up with goals while he's on the show on Tuesday
Starting point is 01:04:47 because I can't commit him to that without, because he can tell me no. So he's got to be able to, he's got to be able to want to say yes or no on that. So let's think of that on Tuesday when he's on. Gunther, hey Christian, you're shared history and his praise for crowdfunding on 2B1C episode 335, around 3330,
Starting point is 01:05:07 might persuade Bert to promote the show Kickstarter, and perhaps as a guest. Greetings from Austria. Thank you. Yeah, he's one of the guys I'm going to reach out to. We'll see if, you know, I got a response. I've got to do that soon. Saul, what if we hit a certain goal, T.J.3 Bastard walks,
Starting point is 01:05:23 oh, the Bastard walks by me in a wrestling match. I don't have that jacket anymore. I'm telling you. Bastard. And I don't run the character. Harris Palms. the show would do better on YouTube than a regular streaming service. I don't necessarily know that's true.
Starting point is 01:05:38 Yeah. Are you asking a question? I don't like definitive statements. Yeah, that's fair. That's a definitive statement. And that's with everybody that's involved in it right now and the casting director and the thing that we have around it, I don't, I just, I don't agree with that. Do you plan a film all over at NYC?
Starting point is 01:05:56 No, Eric, it's going to be in L.A. Tracy Ann. Campaign question. hope at all for a big balls add-on that would make a great holiday gift no seriously you're not the only person to ask this um oh so many people have been asking for like big balls pins and stickers and other things you need if you're going to do it i almost feel like you have to do like a big balls uh either elf on the shelf or like a like an ornament for the holidays that actually would be hilarious um that it's just i think that craig i don't know if craig said there's
Starting point is 01:06:25 something with legality or something i we'd have we'd have to we'd have to look into it yeah uh uh Paige, Winston, how's the wedding planning going? Love seeing pretty people in love. That's very nice. Oh, thank you. It's going really well. As a matter of fact, I shouldn't be gone during a show next month. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:45 For those that don't know, we're getting married in Mexico. So next month, we're going to the actual resort for a couple of days to do, like, the food tasting and to see the venue and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, that's awesome. Kasuki, Harako Shinji. why not add Penny Barber to the tournament? To the tournament? I don't know about the tournament, but she already said she'd make an appearance at the live event.
Starting point is 01:07:09 I mean, didn't you suggest that both Shannon and Penny, like walk Mike out? I just, it would also be interested to have like one of Mike's rivals. That would be hilarious. Yeah, like, you know, send Smets. Well, Smith, Smith, yeah, you know, so I was thinking that too, with Kaiser, they had to kick out Kaiser. John,
Starting point is 01:07:28 Kaiser introduces her. Kaiser goes, I'm not managing a love. Yeah, and he brings her in. John Holridge, what's your inner geekdom Rushmore? If Smets were to beat Mike, would you move him into your goat status? I matched his $5 on my pledge to. Winston Managed Chris. That's very nice of you to do both of those things.
Starting point is 01:07:46 So my IG, I think, would have to go right now. Mike Smets, Rachel. Mike Smet's, Rachel. Chandra Either Chandra or Mara Mara was a multiple champion and she won the tournament I might give a slight edge to Mara
Starting point is 01:08:13 because she did kind of the unthinkable when she started. But didn't I know I'm caping because he was in my stable but I was going to say didn't change. Chandra was the first person ever defend the IG belt I think
Starting point is 01:08:31 was the first person maybe to ever defend it was that true maybe and then and then mike did three defenses um but and and and it might be a bias also because you know the the change it was i i've raved about chandra and how much i love chandra he it's it's a very close pick for me but i would put i'd give mar the slight edge and again because she'd delivered at live events um and yeah that was just that was just an unfortunate thing for Chandrew that he came in. I know. Totally. During the digital age. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:09 Character-wise, if you're going to put, if you're adding, if you're adding character to it, if you're adding, like, overall Schmodan player and not just competitors, then I would probably put Chandrew in there. I would, actually, my list would change as far as character goes, and she wouldn't argue with me on this either. It would be, I would go Kalinowski, Smets, Chandrew, Rachel. as far as overall, because character-wise.
Starting point is 01:09:39 But, yeah, that's kind of how, that's why I would look. Skywalker, Sean, Patents and Batman wouldn't survive in a comic book world. Oh, we didn't even talk about that. We didn't even talk about that story. You didn't even bring that story up. It was one of the main things. He said it wouldn't fit into DCU. So I guess we can talk about it now.
Starting point is 01:09:58 I mean, that's why we ultimately led with the other, with the mystique thing. But like, it's just the same conversation. It's like whether or not it's people say the same thing. It's like Matt Reeves is playing in a very David Fincher kind of world. And the DCU is not. They're playing in a more lighter kind of comic booky tone. So I, I understand that. I do understand that.
Starting point is 01:10:19 It's just a matter of, you know, can you do both things? That was, that was always my concern. As I was like, like you said, it's, it's, it's very grounded. So it's just you have not given us elements of any sort of supernatural or or otherworldly at all. It's just Batman fighting mobsters. So like until you have established that that's something otherworldly can happen in his universe, it just doesn't feel like it fits. Right. So if they're really going court of vows and knowing that the court of vows at times have been, would use, you know, like essentially reanimated corpses for their soldiers,
Starting point is 01:10:57 if that's what we're talking about, then you've started to introduce something other than just a mob boss. Right. And sure, but until you do that, you know. Again, currently at 176-044, great hit 177 before we signed off today. Because we're getting closer. Like, this is the torturing part of it, right?
Starting point is 01:11:20 Are you that close to the actual knowing if you're going to make anything? Like, that's the torturing part of this part. process in general. Okay. Eric Z. Do you plan to hold screening or premiere in New York City? That's a definite possibility, Eric, for sure. Once it debuts, are you shopping and around NYC or planning to? Is that what you're shopping? Shurking around. You shirking around anyways? I don't know what that last part means, but or shooting around New York City. I assume that's what that means. So, yes. No, we're not. not once in the season or the series should it should we be lucky enough that it makes it that we do a
Starting point is 01:12:04 series eventually there will be new york episodes for sure there's a sneaker designer himself doped on designs christian i've been inspired by this process i've started putting a team together to possibly hold a sneaker competition in la or Vegas i love that thank you for the spark yeah thanks for doing you're going to be busy man busy a lot of a lot of these these sneakers are i mean they're almost they're almost all Gonsky. So, let's say, next one,
Starting point is 01:12:32 Kisuke, will your character talk about aliens in the trending TV show? Nah, he doesn't, I don't, there's no world I think but he would,
Starting point is 01:12:38 he would believe in it at all. I think he'd be kind of, uh, more skeptic about it. I didn't really pay attention to it. Zeke, when Christian talks about ball bags in the chat, it's definitely the bastard roots coming out.
Starting point is 01:12:50 Maybe so, maybe so. They really want the bastard bag, bro. I know. Transformer dude. Hey, Christian, when can we expect invincible to be posted? Probably tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:12:59 I think tomorrow we'll get invincible season finale, and then tomorrow, PLD, you just went, what? I have to do it, though, because otherwise I just, A, I need some material. Yeah, I know, I know, I need material. And Sunday, we're doing the lanterns reaction. Then I hope all next week, Sam and I can start doing some stuff. For members, I'll get the end of it out as soon as I can.
Starting point is 01:13:21 Yes, yeah, yeah, you always got to understand that. So if, you know, if there's like an impromptu reaction that comes out, give PLD a little, little breathing room. I never break his traps on. I don't think he's ever gotten an email from the book, where's he on edited? And he gets it up when he can do it. Prank call Roka and tell him he's going on a trip with PLD,
Starting point is 01:13:38 Asel says, uh, and he's not like a big, he's not like one guy you really want a prank call. You know, it's like, real rage will come out. Right. Christian Aralano saw movie reactions. You know, I've never seen any of them either.
Starting point is 01:13:53 No, you haven't. Really? Have you seen them? Yeah. Oh, I've never seen. I actually F with the Saw movies. Oh, okay. Well, they are, they are, like, I haven't seen every single one. It was something that this girl that I was super into, like, 2012-ish, she was big into body.
Starting point is 01:14:11 She's actually one of the biggest, like, special effects makeup YouTubers at this point. Okay. She was super, super into horror, and she was like, you've never seen Saw. It's like, I hate horror movies. I was like, I guess I'll watch it for you, girl. And then the next thing you know, I was like, oh, the saw movies are actually pretty good. So, yeah, I want to, I want to do it. I mean, I've never, I've never seen them.
Starting point is 01:14:37 And I don't necessarily know if I want to. They're gory. Like, obviously, you know the premise enough of, you know, cut off your arm or die. Like, but there's more to it than that. Yeah. I do saw them the work, so you may want to say that, maybe do something later on on the line as a reaction, potentially reaction series or somebody.
Starting point is 01:14:59 Yeah, I mean, it could be. It's just, it's one of these things. Well, first of all, I mean, nobody gives a shit about terror fire, obviously. So good. Okay. So I just sent this one, Haskell, Christian, one other applies to my post today in the Facebook today regarding the Kickstarter. Someone said they want to contribute, but they can't with their current credit cards.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Is there another way they can donate? I'm asking, um, uh, Craig. let's see um isoki who had the best speeches between captain america or optimist prime probably captain america because michael bay was involved in the speeches if you're talking live action yeah but didn't
Starting point is 01:15:34 didn't optimist i mean the did the og didn't have a big ass speech yeah and in the if we're talking animated then maybe but i still think i thought that they were just saying peter in general like since he was optimist forever hmm i don't know i'd still say captain America. I'm trying to think of any Captain America speeches. They're not, they're not hitting me at all. Craig said there's really not, unfortunately, debit, debit, well, I guess debit card. Debate or credit card only, unless we figure out some creatively. Yeah. So, no. Ed, just tell them debit or credit card. It's really, unfortunately, the only way that you can do it right now. Okay, let's see, Soul Style. Can you confirm that episode seven is Hal Jordan Backstory episode? I can't say nothing. Greenie from Oz. Matt, Sarah, and the Schmodown. Oh, Matt wouldn't, we, we,
Starting point is 01:16:22 he would it's funny because when i when we didn't know each other well enough and first of all if we do a live event in new york he'll definitely come um but if we did the live event in l a probably go he he doesn't like to leave his his comfortable uh boat um but if uh when we weren't when we were friendly now we're like really good friends but we were friendly and i had asked them i wanted him to walk to the uh down the ring with one of the schmodan competitors in new york event and he he was i don't he didn't really know what he was walking into so he was like I was like, can I do the stand-up comedy show instead? And I was like, yeah, I can do that.
Starting point is 01:16:55 And he just, he didn't know what it was. And he wasn't, I think he would really dug the vibe of it. But he's also not a wrestling guy, like at all. Like we, I went, I went to W Monday Night Raw with him. And he left like midway through the thing. He's like, I get it. I'm leaving. It just, it just wasn't, he was there to see carrying cross.
Starting point is 01:17:15 And, and then he was, and then he was out. Yeah, he was not rude about it. He's like, I get it. He's like, it's just not for me. coheed 2-099 prank call smet and tell him the belt who was stolen no i can't do eric zee pl day if you're interested christian would you be interested in going on the film junkies friday show and talk movies and um promote the kickstarter what on this friday like today um we definitely coordinate something with pld but um yeah i'd love to talk about it but i couldn't do
Starting point is 01:17:46 it today shack Juan bird what are your thoughts on ray burghs regan i can't say i can't say i can't say it's still an under embargo red carpet i only brought up dan based on the schmode on computer coming from someone else we hit a goal yeah it's it's just a matter of it's hard for me to commit dan anything you know probably next time he's on you probably talk the shame rkel i've really been joining those schmodan episodes yeah if they're it's it's a good nostalgia thing you should watch that that um that video that we do i'll actually make it you know i'll make it public as well.
Starting point is 01:18:21 I'm going to do the I'll make it public right now. The Comic Con live event I just made it public. So people can watch that later. Okay. Is this valid question? Why aren't superheroes?
Starting point is 01:18:37 Why aren't superheroes heroes anymore? Everything is morally great. Well, I mean, Spider-Man, I guess, was a hero. Superman, too? What? Superman too was pretty yeah yeah I think there are I think they're for sure I also but I guess that's the thing I feel like there's still heroes but they they've always kind of lived a little bit in the gray if you if you look at a lot of those movies there's a man should I be doing this or how do I handle this like even Spider-Man too which everybody will clearly it's the greatest it's the same thing what I'm what do I do here so
Starting point is 01:19:11 I'm so mad that I forgot this because I had it written down yesterday I wonder if they consider changing name of Reagan to avoid confusion with the Australian brave dancer. I was so mad of myself that I forgot to ask that question yesterday. I was curious because when, because Marshall hit me up about this thing next week and I was like is this is this another documentary about the
Starting point is 01:19:31 dancer? No, I know. I said the same thing when someone else said to me. Can we get some crackhead commentary as a goal? Well, that's for Winston's channel. Winston does that on his time. But I initially did it over here. So if you guys, if you want that, if that'll help sure. Why not?
Starting point is 01:19:46 Let me see where we're standing right now. 176, still 044, we haven't moved. So hopefully you guys will, if there's something else in there, yet you can be, 177 would be great today. But, all right, let's get to the next one. Will Bateman or Guy be a part of the tournament? Like I said, anybody could be. Anybody could be.
Starting point is 01:20:16 Okay. Blaine, was Ellis able to reach out to Soter? pod could be a good point i did and he's he's not he's not friendly with him we talk question on the state of star wars do you think with driver backstory at disney phling will bring back the hunt for ben solo i hope not i that let that let that story go but wouldn't be surprised that they try to incorporate it somewhere or another uh dennis hoffman christian how worn our out are you with the kickstar i've supported a ton of comic ones and it seems like 30 a trillion it's not it's no i'm not there's no fear of burnout for me
Starting point is 01:20:51 it's you know exhaustion maybe but not burnout because i want this project to come to life you know i want it's it's just the range it's the range of emotions the ups and downs of it too you know it's like you start out like said big day one big eight two it's like and then you get to now you're right you're right right there and the fact is like oh it's it's it's staring at you you might be able to make this but you still might not be able to make this like it's it's uh it sucks uh pars s 80 any chance of possibly bringing the schmode um back in a yearly short season format similar to the NFL or alma MV. Well, we got to see how if we,
Starting point is 01:21:27 if we wind up, you know, funding this thing and we do a 16 person tournament, we have to hit that by the 29th in order to do it. If we're able to do that, then if this Smodown that we record and that 16 does well, then it's something to be discussed later. How many actors have played Batman?
Starting point is 01:21:49 We're not doing Smodown questions right now, Mike. I love you, but that's something down the line. Ben Bamboo should be an option for PayPal. I know, but I don't run Kickstarter, unfortunately. Cullen Prime. Peter Cullen was the best optimist Prime. Well, that's 100. Was there anybody other than him?
Starting point is 01:22:06 What? Was there anybody other than Peter? I don't think so. I don't think. I know that there's a Megatron. That's a small-down question. I used to pay for Patreon. Will matches be on Vault YouTube? Used to pick.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Oh, the Patreon matches? Is it, I think, is what you're asking for? for? Yes. Eventually those will make their way. Yes. I think this is just talking about it. So once we get to that portion of of the actual vault when Patreon matches started to happen,
Starting point is 01:22:33 we'll run the Patreon matches there. We're going to put the FCL on there? I don't know about on the Vault channel. That has to be something. I don't know. Maybe after the entire run of it, it's just, I don't know. It's just, it's so dramatically different in production and everything too that it just does it it maybe not on that channel maybe like a
Starting point is 01:22:55 a fcel vault channel or something yeah um coheed how many days do you plan out taking the shoot the pilot i think the answers hit around seven days call christen tell her that winston are doing a double feature the conjuring terror fire you mean you can prank that's actually a good prank that's actually a great prank we'll do that okay i'll tell you what currently right now are 176 054 if we 177, then Winston will call Chris Carr and lie and say that he committed both of them to Conjuring 2 back to back. That would be a horrible at an incredibly long day. No, but that's not, it's not true.
Starting point is 01:23:41 No, no, I know. I'm just saying you even thinking about it. Yeah, we're going to, we're going to say Winston will put on his acting chops and we'll call Chris Carr at 177, which we're currently at 176, 104, so we have a little bit to go. But if we hit that, and the other thing I've been telling people to, and let's say it again, is that with about now we're just about little under 24,000 to go before we actually hit our initial goal. And that is just around 1,300 people or maybe less, putting in 25 bucks. and if everybody who watches this show right now on the replay or watching in the chat
Starting point is 01:24:20 and if you haven't done it yet, if you've asked any questions in here today and you wanted to ask them to something, we highlighted it and you're like, you know what? They highlight it. Even if it's five bucks, ten bucks, whatever it might be. Throw it in it in it. That would be helpful if you can do it. So yeah, we have it. That's my favorite goal so far because I think that that will, I think that her reaction alone
Starting point is 01:24:40 will be worth it. So 176, 104, if we get to one. 77, Winston will prank call Chris and tell them that they have to do a double feature. It's a great suggestion. Okay. All right, next one. This is Christiana Pennyby a ring girl for the IG match.
Starting point is 01:24:56 Comes out with a round with a number card. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I'll find something for her for sure. Arago. Can't wait for endgame tonight. Very excited. You guys seeing it also. I'm not going to see. I'm going to wait for to be on Disney Plus. Yeah, I'm I'll be there at one. So I will do an out-of-the-the-the-reaction for it when that happens.
Starting point is 01:25:18 So if you want to keep an eye out, I was going to plug that later. But, yeah, keeping out on my channel and I'll, I won't spoil the scenes, but I'll talk about them. Because obviously, that's the main thing that people are curious about. This is going to comics, reals, both actors. I have a question to ask, how do actors and actresses play on-screen couples and do scenes and go back to their partners with their partner? So it's with no drama.
Starting point is 01:25:37 You've got to make sure that your partner knows that it's, It's not real. And it's like my, there was, there's no world where I'd be able to do this series or attempt this series without my wife being on board with that. And even, yeah, even, but even the promos, like even the promos where, you know, martini and are playing, um, talking about playing ex couple and all that stuff too and whatever. And my wife's like, it's got to look real.
Starting point is 01:26:07 It's got to be real. And it's also a matter of, you got to find. the right person that you know, like, I've, that you just know, my wife knows me. I know my wife. Like, you know, and we just, there's that, that trustably, we know we're, we're, we're each other's each other, you know, so it's like, that's, that's it. So, and when it comes to you got to, you've got to be able to really lock in to say, I, what I, my goal is to make sure that when my wife is watching it, she's not thinking about me or somebody else, she's thinking, she's watching Danny. She's on completely different. She's watching Dan. That's the goal. That's, I have to,
Starting point is 01:26:41 I got to trick her as much as everybody else. So yeah. Yeah. The first thing is I've never gone into a relationship where that wasn't a conversation of, hey, this is what I do for a living. So X, Y, and Z. And then just with my fiance, it's just she fully understands that. So anything that I've had where I did have to interact with someone,
Starting point is 01:27:02 she either knew them already because it was like, oh, we're homies doing a part like with like you a martini or if it got that serious, then it would just be a, okay, yeah, this is so-and-so, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. And then that's it. But it's just a conversation that you have to have with a partner that trusts you and everything.
Starting point is 01:27:19 Yep. Okay. Ed, Christian, since you heard from Craig regarding the optional payment methods, did you ask him if it's better if we share the Kickstarter from the actual Kickstarter page links or for X, Facebook, and Bluski? I know it's Blue Sky, but I call it Blusky. I always call it Blusky. I don't think I've ever called it Blue Sky, and I never will.
Starting point is 01:27:40 I always call it bluesky. That's fair. I don't call it. I don't think ever. I don't ever heard you say it at all, but it's my new favorite thing. Oh, I've always, I've been saying bluesky for years. Oh, yeah. I always call it bluesky.
Starting point is 01:27:52 Cullen Prime. There are several Transformer series that had different actors as Optimus Prime. But none like Peter. None like Peter. Anthony Mizano. Chris and Winston, this is crazy predictions I think it is. I honestly, the MCU is going to introduce Sabretooth before we get Wolverine. I think that's probably, I think that's accurate.
Starting point is 01:28:14 And I think they should. I actually think they should. Yeah. Okay, where is the next one? Did they already talk about the Batman? We talked about it briefly. We talked about it briefly. It's not the main title anymore, I don't think.
Starting point is 01:28:30 Hell, 10% of the channel members donated just $1. We'd cross the current goal and get closer to the boardwalk picker. Pix pilot version. I mean, yes, it's 100%. 10% of the channel members donate. We just, it's all true. People can do that too, by the way. Oh, just donated a dollar. Yeah, I donated seven the other day just so you could hit the, whatever the round little number was. So, yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:56 That's the thing. That's why I'm telling me for the super chat side of it. Jack H, very proud to back the Kickstarter. Thank you, Jack. I have so much belief that this show is going to rock. That's super kind to you, and I really appreciate that more than you can, more than you can know. Mike, if we hit 200K would you have Martini and Freed, be managers to compete? No, no. Neither one of them would compete
Starting point is 01:29:16 at all. I'm Mike, I don't know how much you've, I don't know if you watched this remote on in the past, if you were Smodon guy or just know about it from this show, but you've got to really be locked into Freed's going to be producing the tournament. He's going to be with me. So, we're hoarding and that type of thing and making sure we have the right
Starting point is 01:29:34 people. He's not going to have time to do either one of those things. And Martine will be in the crowd. She won't be a, she'll probably for the live event she'll be at the crowd. Can you say the dice Do Ray line? It's, it's, what is it? Give me the beginning of it again PLDA? Do. A deer. Doe. Doe. Deer. A female deer. Ray, the guy who fucked their ass. Huadi, 1927. Christian, how about a
Starting point is 01:30:04 $500 donation for you to commit to a reaction with Sam? with with with with with with terrifier for terrifier is that what you're asking for or which movie you know tell me which movie but that's um let's say paup patrol christian saw forgotten island yesterday it was good dream work movie i'm still hoping wild with tops it i didn't see that while that i did say i'm actually about i'm going to put my review out for forgotten island i thought it was a really good movie i you know what it was the opposite of of um not in tone or style i mean but how i felt about resident evil right where when i saw resonant evil i really enjoyed it and i was loving it and then the ending made me go
Starting point is 01:30:49 oh i really liked it but i liked it but i could have loved it if i loved the ending this was the opposite this was like i was like okay this is this is fine and then i loved the ending and i said oh well i really enjoyed that um but i didn't love it you know i think that some of the jokes were missed on me, but I thought the emotional core was there. So there was a lot there. It was a really good. It's a really good movement, for sure. Give it a fairly high score. Mitch Mack. Hey, Christian, I fell asleep when I asked you on 922.
Starting point is 01:31:15 Do you think the comedy store is haunted? Well, I did definitely answer it. And I said that I'm not going to tell you no, because I've had a lot of people, I know a lot of people who had experiences there. So it's certainly possible. Yeah. Okay, let's see. Scott, do you still plan on doing Braveheart?
Starting point is 01:31:33 Winston as a way to promote the Kickstarter. That's a three-hour movie and it'll be hard. And if you notice, I've been trying to stay away from the virtual reactions because we've had the amount of wasted time, Winston and I have had with setups or audio and things of that nature. And then it's just not worth it. And none of them have really performed. So it's just not worth it.
Starting point is 01:31:56 And that's why I want to have the two of them together in studio. I think it'll, people like to see when you're actually in a room together. It's a slightly different energy. Yeah. Cosmic Reels. Question, did you see the rumor that Colkin and Columbus are coming back to Disney for a new home loan movie? I did see that a while ago. Real quick, Craig did answer your question.
Starting point is 01:32:18 He said any of those shares work, it all goes to the same page. That's what he said. I did see that, and the question is, how will they do it? You know, that's always the answer is how will they do it? and I'm not one of these people that says, oh, you'll leave that well enough alone. At the, you could do a movie and go, okay, well, let's see what you're going to do. And then after I see it, I know, well, they definitely shouldn't have done that version.
Starting point is 01:32:46 Zoolander 2 is an example. You waited that long and that's what you did. That's what you're dumb and dumber 2. That's what you did. Yeah. It's not that I didn't want to see dumb and dumb and dumb or two. It's just that's not the dumb and dumber two I wanted to say. It's, it's, there, there's definitely a window and anything that does well 20, 30 years later.
Starting point is 01:33:06 Yeah. In my opinion, that is more luck than anything. Just, just in that there, you hit a perfect storm of people were kind of hunkering for that IP to come back. You wrote the right script. You put the right kind of like new, because you have to put new additions at 20 years because people have started to age out. So like, it's, in my opinion, doing that kind of stuff is like, a little too risky, but... It just depends. It just depends on what...
Starting point is 01:33:30 I mean, for Disney Plus, it might be interesting. Luke just sent me a thumbnail that... I'm not going to send it back. There's wrong titles on those. Okay, let's see. Next one. Did you see that... Oh, yeah, we did that one. Sorry. Mike, PLD you should dress up a Shrek when Roker's on the show.
Starting point is 01:33:50 Ooh. let me see hold on a second what what what what what's the goal we're at right now where is that we're currently at 176 104 so our what was that last goal the last goal was what did I say at 177 we would go the Winston will prank call Chris and we're 176 129 PLD would you commit would you commit would you commit to the Shrek thing at 177 if we're almost done with the show. On a Roka show. How much do you like me?
Starting point is 01:34:36 I will commit to it, but I can't guarantee exactly what day that's going to happen. We'll do it on a Monday and we won't tell Rokka. So you'll commit to dressing up as Shrek and full makeup of Shrek for the whole... At some time in the next month there's so... Before Halloween. Before Halloween. Okay. All right. All right. All right. So now with this two things on the table now. PLD will dress up in Shrek makeup in a whole Shrek cosplay.
Starting point is 01:35:00 What did this come from? Somebody brought it up yesterday on the stream and I thought it was brilliant. So 177 will get you PLD and he's got it and it has to be on a show with Roka. And then Winston will prank call Chris Carr and tell her that they have to watch Conjuring two back to back.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Oh, I thought it was conjuring and terrify a conjure or two. No, Conchering and Conchering, too. Okay. So, she knows that she won't do terrifying. 176, 129. So we basically need about 870, just around 871 in order to, to do that. All right, let's see. Well, that's all the questions we have for day, folks.
Starting point is 01:35:46 Yeah. Yep. Well, there we go. This is, oh, let's see. Thank you so much. Thank you. Future guy. See, that's perfect. That helps.
Starting point is 01:35:58 Thank you so much. Blaine. Christian, do you know the RU Garbage Guys, Folling Kevin Ryan, another good comedy podcast, and you would kill on that? I don't know them. I don't know them.
Starting point is 01:36:08 More people I have to check into. One of the things I didn't do because of budget changes, I didn't go out and get a publicist for this, which I probably could have, but I just didn't have it. Harle Fun, we might be drunk with Samaril, and Mark Norman would be cool.
Starting point is 01:36:20 They should have the same studio I do. I was actually in their studio yesterday. Haskell, I don't know how easy this to do, Winston would know, but how about streaming on here and the MTS Twitch channel with the deal? I mean, I just haven't gone live on that channel so long, especially the next 10-hour stream. It's not a bad idea.
Starting point is 01:36:36 Winston would have to manage it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's possible. We got a big, we got someone firing out some big stuff here. Got a shot. Two of two, those are ones you can just post on, where there are dozens of others that you can probably we can just content directly and get them to promote it for you. I would make a Facebook page in a boost post.
Starting point is 01:37:01 Yeah, to see how that's going to work. Grace, PLD should also wear a hat that says, I hate Star Wars. Ooh. I draw the line there. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, yeah. I don't think you with Shrek. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 01:37:15 Yeah, but you wouldn't be able to do that one. That's probably, this one we probably can get it. You can probably get four Schmets, would they play? Probably. I don't know. Okay, here's another. Peleys stop starring these. So Ken Dogg, if you get to do the whole series, would the plan be to do a season each year or too early to tell? Too early to tell right now because we don't know who's, who's going to do it. And it's one of those things too. I mean, look, in an ideal world, like I said, we get some, somebody goes, you know what? Go ahead and make that whole thing. And I go ahead and promote some stuff
Starting point is 01:37:49 and we're able to make a whole season. Or then, you know, we can, you know, we can, could kind of do things our way. But we'll see, we'll see what happens on how we do it. So, um, I think that's, is that it for now? There's more. Soundway Chronicles. Love the Peele of my escape the Shrek thing again today. Love the Shrek idea. These creative goals during largely will help you chip away at the initial goal, excited for future stretch goals that will help us smash through the boardwalk goal. Yeah, that's going to be the major thing. We've got to get to the 200 first. You know, the 200 is the main goal. We just got to get there.
Starting point is 01:38:26 And like I said, I'm just telling every single person I got, I'm assuming, like, if people are able to, is anyone who's in this chat right now? Has everyone been able to put a dollar, $5 in there? If you were able to, let me know if you were able to. And then, you know, then what we have to do is just keep telling the other audience who's not watching the live streams, the video side of it. You know, that when I do, and I do Invincible today, when I put up the first, Got an Island review. I got to let people know of what we're working with. And that they, hopefully we can get just around 1,000 people, but 25 bucks.
Starting point is 01:39:03 And then we should be in pretty good shape. We'll see. Creshing and App, Pled, bring this link up on New York, Josh, the article, I want to get your take on the most. Oh, I can't do that right now. That's, that's, that's a lot of, it's a lot of work. Let's say, Greenie from Oz. Question got any cast locked in.
Starting point is 01:39:26 Well, that's, that's, people have asked and just to reiterate it again, too, we can't announce any cash yet until we know the budget we're working with because we want to commit people around us, you know, so it's like if we know, if we smash past that goal of the boardwalk pictures won, that's when we know, okay, we can afford to go have, Wendy says, okay, I think so-and-so would be great for this role, so-and-so, and then we go, we actually can make an offer to that person because we know that we blew past the boardwalk thing. Right now, we don't have any cast locked in outside of, we have people that in mind, we have, we have lists, but you can't do anything until you have a budget.
Starting point is 01:40:09 All right, let's say. But PLD should start wearing, should start off wearing the guy Fox mask, Roka wears as the outlaw. He'd never do it. He would never do it. Future guy, Zikeis, just back trending. Christian Autivvy Pite 25. Thank you. Oh, we did that one. That one we brought up. Thank you so much. What a bastard made a return at the Shmodeon live event. I'm just, I just I don't know if I can get back there. Like, that's when people were asking me like, you know, are you going to be able to act? We'll do this. I'm like this character I'm going to play. Yeah. I can I I I know that character. I know how to do that character. When I was in my early 20s, I knew how to conjure up Blaine Johnson. You know, like, um, doing it now. It just like, like it would be a different version of it would be like a broken down it wouldn't be the same one it wouldn't be the same guy because it you know if he was if he was and i said yesterday if he was still trying to do
Starting point is 01:41:04 he would have died a long time ago you know you've been shot in the streets um sorry i've already answered how do you feel about rumors of dorothy nolan movie what what that's that that's not a that's not that's not a real rumor what the weird where did that come from that would have been all over the place. No chance in hell. There's no world that that's that's a thing. Where did that come from? It's just an online rumor. It looks like it's spawning from Facebook. Jackwin. So we did that one right. Mike, here's an idea of prank call Roka telling me he's going to be on the show with Mike Myers. That's really that's Shrek. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, okay. And then and then we deliver what we can't yet because right now let's see where we're at. 176-129 and I'm about to sign us off so Pelely it looks like you escaped
Starting point is 01:41:58 shrek again and Chris Carr escaped a prank call so yeah currently we're you know we're we're still not too far away we got 28 days to go we have we had just around 29th in order to make the shmowdown tournament come to life but you know I guess I got to start making some phone calls as far as podcasts and things go too and I got to shoot those reactions and Sam, I'm just, I'm just doing a lot, guys. It's a lot going on right now. I'm just trying to do everything that I can. And it's like, you know, it is what it is.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Okay, so let's see. What else have anything else? No. All right. The Super Chats will be back on Monday. We'll bring those back on Monday. And we'll bring the competition back. And that's it.
Starting point is 01:42:49 So have a great weekend, everybody. Thank you for being here. I really appreciate it. it and thanks to Winston, thanks to PLD. Thanks to everybody who's been here today. Check out my stuff since Christian was to drive. Oh, sorry. Yeah, go ahead. Check out the swaggy blurr on all platforms and whatnot.
Starting point is 01:43:04 And like I mentioned, I am going to see Endgame Encore at 1 p.m. Pacific. So I should, what, three plus hour movies? So around like 435, it was called 5.30. I'll have my reaction to the scenes. Again, I won't spoil it, but I'll let you kind of know what's going on. All right. So thank you guys. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:43:22 See you later. Did you shit in there?
