Alex is going to give us an Oscars Corner for this Sunday, but I can't do this by myself. have such an incredible crew ready to party with y'all because it is Friday and I hope that you are
Starting point is 00:02:06 ready to party with us. We have The Woman who gives really great film reviews and is also just a star in her own right. Sabrina Ramirez in the house. Hi guys. Happy Friday. Happy to be here with Steph again and of course David and everybody here. I'm excited. Hell yes. Speaking of David more, we have David. We've only hosted one show together but I will tell you he's an absolute delight and I can't wait to have this show with him today. What's up, David? What's good? What's good? Glad to be here. Nerding out hard. Loving all this good chocolatey goodness happening in the world of Marvel. Makes me happy. Oh, yes. And the funniest man on the internet with the coolest kids also that I found out
Starting point is 00:02:49 and you will find out later today why I'm saying that. We have Brett Sheridan. O-Die! That's today's new one. How? We have a couple of Brett the house. Drone Cowboy Brett. And then we have the musical genius himself. Also Paddington sometimes. Alex Marzonia. Paddington is just a friend.
Starting point is 00:03:11 He's just a friend. He hangs out in my room and he comes in when his name is called. But hello. What's up? It's a Friday. I'm happy that the weekend is here. Your hair is looking swab. Let me tell you that much.
Starting point is 00:03:26 I didn't do it. I literally woke up. It was good. You look good. And we all want the man behind the curtain, Oz himself, Malcolm. What's up, Malcolm? Pay no attention to the man behind the car. I love how coy you are.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Wow, I'm really excited. Everyone, Brett obviously, was the first one to watch, the Falcon and Winter Soldier finale. So I just can't wait to get his thoughts. But today, like I said in the beginning, is a flashback Friday. So we're going to be doing a really fun thing today where I had everyone on the panel
Starting point is 00:04:03 send in flashback photos to Malcolm. And these are, I've seen some of them. So fucking funny, random, hilarious, awkward, especially of me. There's a photo of me that I like never wanted to hit the internet, but I want to bring it to the S&N community today. So that will be every $200. One of us will be revealing a flashback Friday photo
Starting point is 00:04:25 and giving a story as to why, it is the way it is. So that's $200. And then at $800, our big goal for the day, Christian teased it yesterday. We will be doing a prank on Bonnie by the hands of Kate Mulligan. It will involve chocolate, guys does shit. It will involve twerking and it will involve a lot of madness. So that's at 800. But most of all, just join the conversation with us. Send in any super chat stream lives, but we really prefer stream labs of your thoughts on the episode or anything we're talking about, or just your any Friday thoughts, give it to us. But let's get into it.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Alex, you want to start us off? Yeah, well, let's talk about the main topic. We're doing a spoiler discussion today, and we'll only do it for a few minutes, so we'll make sure to let you know in the chat. If you do want to tune out, Timson donated $20. Koi said in the episode one discussion of the IG show
Starting point is 00:05:19 that this show could focus on injustice and broken systems. I think they've looked into them mostly well. MCU's been amazing, with its two shows so far and I look forward to Loki. POC represent with our new camp. Hey! Spoiler! Oh, wait, never mind. I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:42 I can take this hammer and throw this shit away today. We're talking spoilers. So, Steph, you watched the episode last night, Slavis this morning. What did you think of the season finale of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier? I thought it was so good and just really wrapped up the season. season in such a good way. I tweeted about this, but as soon as we got cap and just came out in the new fit, I yelled. I was like, that's my cap. Like, I started to feel it probably in two episodes ago, really last episode, the Pent Ultimate episode, where I'm like, this was a character that I
Starting point is 00:06:18 always liked, but I wasn't that familiar with. And I thought they did the best job of not forcing you to fall in love with him, but just slowly falling in love with him. And then by the finale, you're like, holy shit, I love this dude. He is Captain America. And I think that the way that they handled the themes, the deep themes of race in America, systemic issues in America, class issues in America, while also being funny and having like this friendship form in between it was really, really well done. And then I thought the Isaiah Bradley character arc was one of my favorites in Marvel history. I thought it was so well done and powerful. And this is why, like, it's never too late to reckon with the past. We can't fix everything.
Starting point is 00:07:05 We can't change everything, but we can make people feel like they belong and that they're deserved and appreciated. So I thought that was wonderfully done. And then I thought it just opened up the whole, like, I'm just excited to see what comes up next. The teaser at the end really made me excited with the power broker. And I did like that little twist. I know some people were guessing it. But Sabrina, what did you think overall of the finale? Were you happy with it?
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah, I really enjoyed it. I mean, I was, like, hesitant going into this show because I loved Sam, and I was never a huge person on, like, Bucky. So I thought where the show's shine was, like, really going into Sam's backstory and fleshing all of that out. And his home life, like, I would have loved to see a film just with him center at it. But overall, I still really enjoyed it. I feel like there's some things that were supposedly taken out of the series and it kind of
Starting point is 00:07:59 makes sense because there's some holes and there was a lot of threads to kind of weave together at the end of this episode. I think they mostly did a really great job of that. Again, I think they did Sam like such a service in this one genuinely fleshing out his character making you really, really attached to this and understand. This is so great for anyone who can't like understand these ideas of like racial bias and discrimination and what it is to be a person of color in America, I think they really do a great job introducing you to that concept. But with Bucky again, I just thought he kind of was like a B character
Starting point is 00:08:38 to Sam, which like I'm here for. I just still haven't gotten attached to Bucky, but I'm excited to see so much more of Sam, our Captain America going forward. That moment in this episode was freaking incredible. I had chills the entire time. And again, Again, just like you said, the way they wrapped up Isaiah Bradley and Sam at the end of this episode, crying. Like, literally just so, so much tears. It was absolutely beautiful. It reminded me of this moment from this Doctor Who episode from years ago. And I just absolutely loved every moment of that.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Wait, I'm curious, what did you want? Did you just want more time with Bucky that you didn't get? Because the way Bucky was flirting, especially with Black women, I was so here for. I was like, ooh, Bucky, and the Asian, the Japanese, actually, she's a Japanese actress in the beginning. I was like, Bucky, I like your style. But I feel like I personally got to know him a lot better. And he, even the last line that we, it wasn't necessarily his last line, but when he was listening to Sam talk and then he said, all I heard was stars and stripes and I'm black Captain America. Like, those things make me fall in love with him and think he's just so funny and constantly getting better.
Starting point is 00:09:52 What were you looking for? I like that. I just kind of wanted like more stakes with him maybe, like what he's kind of tormented with besides his past because we've already dived into that a bunch like throughout the other films. So I just kind of wanted another layer to him going forward, something to really get us attached because now that we're missing a lot of our A heroes after Infinity War and Endgame, these are the ones that are going to carry it. And I have so much faith that Sam can now. But I don't know about Bucky. Like I'm not at. as interested to see what he does going forward.
Starting point is 00:10:26 But again, everything that they did with Sam, like the fact that they're able to highlight these issues in a not superficial way, a lot of the times people pat themselves on the back because they're like, oh, we talked about it, we mentioned it, look, here you go. But instead they really did dive you in and put you into the perspective that you wouldn't normally see in a superhero film.
Starting point is 00:10:49 That's fair. That is really fair. Dave, I know that you were pumped when you saw the new Captain America. So you talked to me about the introduction of our new Captain America and what you thought. Look, I mean, right now, sorry, I'm all. Choked up? I know. So choked up. I'm not crying.
Starting point is 00:11:08 You're crying. Not like real talk, though, especially with even like last week's episode. It's so relevant and so necessary. And then just. Man was all in my feelings this episode. Sam's speech in the street as caption America was so real. The Isaiah Bradley part of the end tears like waterfalls, Dot, and was deep and meaningful. That was from Black Hawk.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Thank you very much, Black Hawk. I'm so glad that that resonated with you. Hell yeah, that's what TV and film is for. Continued. 100%. Yeah, like I'm piggybacking right off of that, man. Like, it, with everything that's been happening, you know, in America and And, you know, I just, I literally was almost moved to tears.
Starting point is 00:11:58 And it's, it's so powerful. It's so necessary. And you hit something on the head, Sabrina, when you said how it's now presented in a way that everyone can understand now, you know? And that is so incredibly necessary. And, you know, even just a moment where the older black guy sees Falcon go by and he's like, there's black falcon right there. Young Buck's like, nah, that's Captain America. I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:26 You know, but just like seeing like, you know, even just the idea of different generations and their perspectives on things and seeing change and, you know, the experience of one passing to the experience of another and then hoping that, you know, a true 100% change happens. And, you know, you talked about things being systemic
Starting point is 00:12:46 and how that takes time, but just, you know, they're just, they're taking such good care with this material, you know, and not making it overly political, but again, making it enough so it's digestible for everyone. And I'm all in. I'm loving it. I'm reping today. Let's go. I want more of this. I want more of this. I have a question also for you, Dave. I was curious because I thought one of the most powerful conversations of dialogue in the show was, I believe it was last episode when Isaiah was said, no respectable black man would be Captain America. And then the twist of him, you know, taking that and respecting what he said, not saying it was necessarily wrong,
Starting point is 00:13:30 but just creating his own path. Did you like that conversation and what Sam took with it? Absolutely, because that's the reality of a lot of black people is, you know, there's a generation, you know, whether it's, you know, even just your parents or especially your grandparents, because, like, people forget that this was not long ago, you know? My grandmother was literally part of, like, protest and things like that back in the day and, like, you know, saw Martin Luther King and all that. So, you know, this wasn't that long ago. And so, you know, the really, really strong family dynamics in a lot of, like, black households.
Starting point is 00:14:06 So, you know, you get stories and taught things, and it's all passed down. And so, you know, that was just a really powerful moment to, you've said it perfectly, where he took in everything that was said and respected everything that was said but knew he needed to be true to who he was and his life, you know, and the reality that he lives in and still sort of took that and made it his own.
Starting point is 00:14:32 So, yeah, that was, I mean, everything. See, again, I'm not crying, you're crying. No, yeah, yeah, it was great. And, again, so real and very true to, you know, what many of us experience. It's great. Alex, I know you did your Whisper Review. I was so pissed. I missed. I missed it. Don't tell. What did you, did you think that the season wrapped up well? Was there enough episodes in time? And how did you feel overall? I thought this last episode was kind of clunky, just in terms of the
Starting point is 00:15:09 shortcuts they did with some of the characters, especially with Walker and Sharon. I think, and also Carly as well. Basically everybody except Sam got the short shift this episode. But other than that, the stuff that we did get, the peaks were so high that, like, I still can't help but love this episode. John Walker is one of my favorite characters in Marvel just because of how Wyatt Russell makes him so compelling and how well-written he is. even though I don't agree with everything he does,
Starting point is 00:15:45 at least he was interesting and you could see the changes in his character, psyche and everything and why he's doing the things he does. I felt like he didn't get his full, like transformational moments. Like he got one moment of saving that van, but then like it just felt like a shortcut that wasn't earned.
Starting point is 00:16:07 That was the biggest problem I had overall with all these characters. they're not getting, it didn't feel like a tidy wrap-up. But of course, you know, you have Sam's speech, the incredible speech that I think there's probably somewhere on the internet has someone has written it down already and it's so beautiful. I'm probably going to read it 10,000 times later today. But it was so well written. And I believe, and yeah, the last, I think the last dialogue of this episode, barring the mid-credit scene, was in the museum when he says,
Starting point is 00:16:40 now no one will ever forget you. No one will ever forget what you did. And I think that's powerful. That's the last dialogue that is said in the episode. I think that's a great way to wrap up the season as well. But overall, love the season. The peaks were amazing. A few clunky episodes, but I, I, freaking Marvel TV and just Marvel in general. It's crazy what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:17:04 And I'm glad they're able to tackle these topics. I think those were really fair criticism. It's hard because all I cared about this season was Bucky and Sam, but mostly I just needed to, I really just wanted Sam to have a character arc that was deserving and respectful because so oftentimes POC characters are just not fully flushed out. And I think they spent a lot of time on that. But I am curious, what is any of your opinions on Sharon Carter being revealed as power broker? I know a lot of people had guessed that. I read some reviews that were a little bit upset. Like, why would she be helping Sam and Bucking?
Starting point is 00:17:42 And it was like to get pardoned, right? That's what I gathered from that. Did any of you feel a certain type of way like that shouldn't, that you didn't like her as that, and it doesn't make sense for her character? I've seen theories of what they could do with her character, including that she is one of the scrolls, like because her character transformation was way too fast, in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:18:04 And so I don't, I think that's, one reason they could one way that Carlyse character arc. Right. But then I think at the same time, I don't want Marvel to do that in like, oh, the audience isn't receiving
Starting point is 00:18:21 this story decision well. They're a scroll. We'll handle it later. That's a dangerous path that I think that Marvel should be smart enough to not do, but anyways, I don't, I'm not big fan of the Sharon Carter review. Yeah, I agree with that too, because that
Starting point is 00:18:37 easily be like the biggest like cop out that could ever use is like oh scroll scroll yeah that's not so yeah i i agree that and i think though that maybe like she teamed up because she had she needed help she needed the resources you know i don't think she ever wanted to like get back into the u.s or anything like that they they were a means to an end you know so like they could do the dirty work and do things that clearly her team wasn't able to do you know so i think that That was all that was, was just manipulation. Brat, are you auditioning to be Captain America's number two? Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:19:18 I just actually wanted to point out that I'm doing what white people should do when something they know nothing about comes up and it pertains to people of color. They should just listen quietly and then not add their opinions. So that's, I want to thank you. seen and see how easy that was. I didn't have to throw anything in there and give my opinion of what I think, you know, people should do. But I am super excited to binge this. And I'm glad I think I'm glad I waited because, again, Rokka's mentioned it and that this is a binger and not a week to week.
Starting point is 00:20:03 I think everybody was like, come on, I want to get this all in. So super, excited to start this with my wife soon. Heck yes. Let us know how you like it. Malcolm, did you get a chance to watch it? No, no, I haven't yet. I'm going to do what Brett's doing, and I'm going to watch it all at once. I'm actually in the middle of a full rewatch of MCU movies. So I haven't watched Wanda Vision either yet. Starting point is 00:23:55 Sabrina just did it. She just got off-screen and signed up for Claire. Everybody else, go do it too. Wow, look at that. Just so simple. Me, me, me, me, me, me, me. Got to do a little more. Lips are a little.
Starting point is 00:24:12 The human porch was denied up ankle. Does anyone have any, like, before you get on screen, I don't know if Brett's an actor, but, like, things you do to get your vocal cords ready? Well, before shows. On TV. Before shows, or live performances, I always go on a run in the morning to like get the lungs open and everything. I always like eat a bunch of vitamin C like the week before just to make sure I don't get sick. And then drink lots of whiskey during the show.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Really? Is whiskey your, wow. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Risky whiskey. You know it. I love that. And also everyone, we are done with our spoiler. review so feel free to come back. Don't be scared. We will no longer be spoiling the finale of Falcon and Winter Soldier. Alex, what we got next? Also, I won't be doing any band hammering in the chat. I just don't want to focus on that. So you guys can talk spoilers on the chat, but we won't be talking spoilers here. Does that sound fair to you stuff? Yes. Cool. All right. So, let's talk some stories, yeah? Russell Crow has revealed that he will be playing Zeus, the
Starting point is 00:25:26 ruler of the Olympian gods in Thor, Love and Thunder. He was confirmed to be in the movie after he was seen in Australia hanging out with Chris. Hemsworth, that is, not just any random Chris. But now he's revealed that he'll be playing Zeus, who is the Olympian god, Olympian, like, big god. So it's interesting that they'll be tying in Greek and German mythology here with Thor. but what do you think of Russell Crow playing Zeus in The War I'm I think Alex I would love to hear your opinion since you have a Russell Crow photo behind you I want to know what's getting so jazzed yeah I think this is pretty
Starting point is 00:26:13 cool I wonder if they'll I think this just means that they'll be bringing like Hercules in I know Hercules is a big Marvel character I know Somebody had to do it. Somebody had to do it. If we're going to say Hercules, circulees, you got to say the Herculees, Herculees. Absolutely. What's the beauties to come. But yeah, this is, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:26:35 It's like they're opening a whole new mythology here. So I'm excited for it. It just means a lot more cosmic, mystic things will be happening in the Marvel universe. And they're just really expanding. And that means more people of color, a more Greek people can be in the movies too. They'll be cast. Let's get Jason Manzoukis as Hercules.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Oh, my gosh. Yes. It's amazing. Yeah, I think this is exciting. I'm really excited about this movie in general. I like Russell Crow, but it doesn't make me flip shit because he's getting cast. I just need Thor and Natalie Portman, and I think I'm okay with the casting list. Everyone else will be a good delight.
Starting point is 00:27:21 but I think it's cool that he got to announce because I know there had been rumors about this for a while and then he got to break it. I like that actors are now being able to do that now because I just feel like that makes more sense with Simu when he released the Shung Chi photo. I was like, yes, I love when the studios are giving actors their power back.
Starting point is 00:27:43 But, Brett, are you excited? Are you a Russell Crow fan? Yeah, I mean, that's all right. I mean, he's done a couple movies. right? Yeah. I'm with you, Steph. It's not like a deal breaker. I'm excited about this already. I think, you know, it's, it's, yeah, it's just kind of like, oh, okay. It's, it's, it's a meh story, I guess if you will. But, uh, go, Russell Crowe, yes. Yeah. Dave, I know you're a big comic book fan. Are you excited for this movie in general? And does the introduction of this character make sense?
Starting point is 00:28:19 In general, hell yeah. Very, very excited for the movie. Russell Crow, I do love what he does. Look, as long as he's not singing, I'm good. I don't need to hear this in my movie. I don't need any of that. I don't know that. In the moon.
Starting point is 00:28:40 There's open love to. None of that. So we're good. And I'm very happy that it seems like we're now at a point where it's like, well, he was, he was in the other movie in D.C. Like, no one seems to be tripping on that either, you know? So I'm happy that we're beyond that. Do what you do, Mr. Crow, just not sing.
Starting point is 00:29:03 And I'm a happy nerd. Happy blurred. Blurred. Sabrina, how are you feeling about this casting in the movie in general? I'm pretty neutral on it. It gets me excited. It would get me more excited if he actually was singing. That would be the silent.
Starting point is 00:29:19 for me. I'm like Tyka Watiti directing Russell Crow singing. That's something that I didn't think I need to see in my life and now, now I do. Actually, the stuff that gets me the most excited about this film really is Tyca, Chris, and then of course Natalie Portman coming back as Jane Foster and her kind of taking on this mantle. That's what gets me excited. So this is pretty neutral on it. I'm already sold on the film. Yeah. I feel like ever since the announcement, from the title to the that we know that we're getting Natalie Portman back. I love and thunder is a sick title. I think when that was revealed during Comic-Con,
Starting point is 00:29:53 everyone's like, fuck yes, what is that? I'm into that. And then everyone loves her character and has been wondering what they're going to do with her storyline because obviously she did, and we know in the comic book, where she goes with that. So I agree with you, Sabrina. It's more, this is just like extra, I guess, for Russell Crow fans out there, go off today.
Starting point is 00:30:14 I hope you're celebrating. But I'm excited about this. Yeah, okay. No more meh stories for Brit. I don't know. You know, it's like, I would have liked it. You know, it's always more exciting when it's an up-and-comer or something like that. You know, it's just, you know, I mean, he's Russell Crow.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Yeah, of course he got through. Shadow Dragon Productions donated $20. Truth. Is elusive. It's nowhere to be found. Yay, the truth can never be written down. It's not in any magazine. You can't see it.
Starting point is 00:30:44 on your TV screen. Truth. Is evasive, though, you might have the facts got it straight you think, but then it all cracks wide open. Yeah, dig it, man. I'm vibing on that. Let's go. Let's put a beat behind that.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah. Let's go, SoundCloud, TikTok, make it happen. Those are some lyrics. Those are some lyrics. You keep sending in your stream labs, even if they're poems, we love that. Whatever you have to say on any of the topics that we're talking about, or just funny,
Starting point is 00:31:17 comments, questions, concerns, hit us up. Steph, did you mention that one of the photos I sent you was me in the bathtub? I mean, I don't know if people are, I don't think they realize the photos that are available. I'm not, you're right, I'm not teasing this enough. Photos that you sent from each and every person on this panel are ones that I don't think any of us really want out there for the open. But like in life, I think we're all the type of people that we do shit for the story. until we're going to tell you the past movie
Starting point is 00:31:47 every $200 that we reached. So keep getting in those stream labs in Super Chats. It's fucking Friday, y'all. Let's get it. Alex, what do we got next? All right, I got a story that'll make Brett shit his pants. Yes! Lawrence Gorsese and John Carney are teaming up to make a musical
Starting point is 00:32:05 using the music of George Gershwin as the inspiration for a musical drama. It'll be an original musical called Fascinating Rhythm and it'll draw a creative influence from the life and music of George Gershwin, but it's not expected to be a biopic. Instead, the story is centering on a young woman's magical journey through past and present New York City. The Gershwin estate is on board, so the movie will be able to feature his music throughout, as well as take inspiration from it.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Steph, what do you think of Scorsese delving into musicals again, and have you seen John Carney's other movies like Once and Sing Street? No, I haven't. What musicals have Scorsesey done? Do you know? I think only New York, New York, I believe. Okay, because, yeah, I thought he hadn't done any. I wasn't familiar with any, so that's kind of exciting.
Starting point is 00:32:58 I tried to listen to some of the songs from the composer or the musician that they're focusing on. Some bangers, for sure, no lyrics, but still bangers, music is music. So I think it could be a cool take on it. I think musicals, when they're adapted for film, or I guess this is, adapted to film purposefully can be a little bit tricky. They're not always done right for me. I really didn't like La La Land. I don't. It's hard for me to like musicals except when you're in live theater. Sorry, Alex. Oh, you just broke his heart. Oh my gosh. I felt that I saw those eyes. Yeah. I'm sorry, Alex. Oh, he's going into the Russell void. No, get back.
Starting point is 00:33:40 I'm falling in the beard follicles and you're never going to come back. He's going to the sunken place. This is my favorite image of ever. You are burying yourself in a man's beard. Relatable. Hey, oh, okay. That's the energy that I needed today. That's the energy.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Now I'm here, I'm back. Guys, $100, we will start drinking. This is why Sabrina's my girl. I need to be all. more shows with Sabrina, so can we get it going, y'all? And we're trying to have a good Friday with you, so let's keep it going. Alex, are you excited about this? You are our resident musician. Hell yeah. I mean, I also love John Carney. Sing Street is a freaking amazing movie. I haven't seen Begin Again, his other movie, one of his other movies, but also, again, once is amazing.
Starting point is 00:34:37 I've listened to the soundtrack a bunch of times. That was one of the, like, very influential movies growing up in the high school, at least. But great pedigree behind everybody involved here. George Gershwin, freaking Rhapsie and Blue. Love that piece. And, yeah, I love jazz. Give me some more jazz. It needs to be saved by it.
Starting point is 00:35:07 by Ryan Gosling stuff. I can't believe you don't love love. Yeah. I like the actors in Lola and I just, I actually can finish the film, but, I know. Oh my God, the Lala and Slander today. How did you really feel about it stuff? I can't, I can't. Yeah, I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:35:28 I'm really keeping it hush because I don't like to talk too much of it, but Sabrina, our film or viewer extraordinaire. Are you a Scorsese fan? I am. I'm actually a bigger John Carney fan, if I'm being honest. Um, just overall, I feel like once, begin again, and Sing Street are all fantastic. I feel like he, he nailed it completely all those three times. So to see him team up with Scorsese, that's what gets me excited here is John Carney. Um, yeah, I mean, it sounds cool. Uh, you know, get Russell Crowe singing in there doing that thing. So, But I know Alex guessed that you'd be super jazzed about this on a scale of one to jazz hands.
Starting point is 00:36:11 I'm just really kind of like taking a back step at your lack of joy for the, for representation of, you know, of beautiful white women struggling in Hollywood. Right, right. Wow. I mean, what a, what a, you know, class. I can't even. I can't even. Yeah, this sounds, I was just looking up, I'm like, what is George Gershwin? Like, summertime and the living is easy.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Beautiful song. Yeah, I don't know. I still don't quite understand the storyline. It's about him, but it's not about him. I mean, it's kind of confusing a bit to me. Or maybe I'm old. Mm-mm. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:36:57 So I was thinking, I was chewing on that, too. And I'm feeling it's getting, like, do you all see that? What was it? Danny Boyle yesterday. I'm getting vibes that it's going to be something like that where like the music heavily affects the story and is going to definitely be prominent in where we go. But it's going to, of course, have its own separate story of its own. So like, it's going to be like perfectly intertwined with, you know, how it pushes along the narrative
Starting point is 00:37:27 and stuff like that. That's where I'm going. I like it. I love that because actually John Carney's other films, the one that I just named, Steph, you haven't seen any of those? I don't think so. I would recommend to watch them because they're not like the Lala Land types of musicals where it's like, oh, we're breaking out into song and dance.
Starting point is 00:37:45 It feels organic. Like I made my sister watch Sing Street and review it on my Patreon because she hates musicals and she loved Sing Street. So, yeah, Jessica hates musicals. Sorry, Alex. Wait, okay, okay. So which one do you suggest Sing Street the most out of the ones you just lusted? Or all of them are just worth the watch.
Starting point is 00:38:06 They're all good. I would say maybe start off with Sing Street, but I would say check out all three. Sing Street is amazing. Yeah, that one I really love. They're just so feel good. Like there's nothing wrong with those films at all. You just come out of it with like a lust for life. Like I want to start singing.
Starting point is 00:38:22 I can't even sing and I want to start singing after these films. I get. Any other thoughts on? that y'all okay well I'm trying to see the photo Alex told me that he's trying to put up this flashback photo so can we please hit the 200 and you have no idea the photos Dave sent me he was definitely in a like a band era moment with his friends you have no idea the fashion he was serving Sabrina sent me one where I was like oh my god and then Brett Brett sent multiple age groups of Brett's life and all of them are like, it's so crazy because
Starting point is 00:39:03 none of us really look, well, this is life. No one looks like how they did when they were younger. I have a photo from seventh grade, you guys, if we get to 200, that I never wanted to show I look. I showed it to my roommate yesterday and she said, I'm not going to lie, like you have a massive glow up. I'm like, bro, I know I was like actually not fucking cute. I'm not fucking cute. No, I have a photo from a Jason Derulo concert from seventh grade. I don't know why I was at a Jason Derulo concert. I think my mom dragged me there,
Starting point is 00:39:33 but I had like a broken wrist from cheerleading. I was like super like emo. So I had like the emo hair, but my mom tried to like do it up where it wasn't like that. It's bad. So I'm going to dig through and see if I could find that one. I couldn't find it last night, but that one's bad too.
Starting point is 00:39:48 So I feel you stuff. Sabrina. Sabrina, you broke. He broke the rules, Sabrina. Every time you say his name, you got to go, Jason DeRulo. You can't just say his name. It's the law.
Starting point is 00:40:00 So right. And then at 800, y'all, we cannot miss this goal. We get to prank Bonnie. Kate will be pranking Bonnie on air next week with Christian. So let's get to 800. And Alex had said that Brett would shit himself of the last news. And then paired with this prank, I am curious if anyone in the chat or us has funny shit yourself stories, those always
Starting point is 00:40:25 we deserve those on a Friday. We deserve to know when you'll shit yourself or dig shit yourself. Bring on the poop. Bring on the poop. Let's go. Let's go. It's becoming like a weird only fans. Bring on the poop.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Yeah. Give us money and push. What FN is, it's like a live only fans every single day. Only fans for film lovers. and comedy lovers. There you go. Only films. Let's make it happen. Only films. Let's go. I saw you go,
Starting point is 00:40:57 do you have a story already that comes to mine or no? I was just thinking I have, I think I have more shitting my pants stories than regular stories. I think there's no, I've got some doozies.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I don't know. The title of your memoirs. I've got some dozes. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, never miss an opportunity to go to the bathroom. That's all I'll say, you know, if you... It's concerning that it's happened so many times.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Sugar the best donated $20. Loving this panel, beautiful faces everywhere. No question but big shout out to my Aries Queen for leading the charge on a Friday. Let's get it. P.S. vitamin C and whiskey Alex, that is the cure to longevity. Boom. Hey, appreciate the love. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Every single stream labs means a lot to us, whatever you have. Please send them in 5, 10, 20. But at 100, Sabrina and I will be taking drinks at 200. And that's collective, the 200. We will be disclosing a flashback Friday. We need to get to those, y'all. Once we get one, you'll see that we need to keep getting more. So let's keep sending those in, streamlabs.com.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Alex, what do we got next? All right, let's see what we got next. Let's do that. We have Justin Simeon, the director of Dear White People and Bad Hair, is in negotiations to direct the new adaptation of the Haunted Mansion theme park attraction for Disney. Shadow Dragon Productions donated $20. If in what they say, how cruel is God that gave me life, believe me, him just a poor woman that desires his love. No, even if no one believes me, if my love stays near me, I will gladly receive me. receive any punishment, please God listen to the prayers of this poor woman.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Yo. Is that Bars? Is that Lain Miss? Is that Russell Crow? I don't know. I was wondering. I was trying to hear my voice. If I could go like this, do those words.
Starting point is 00:43:07 I could tell them. I was feeling it, though. I was feeling it. Hey, when I close my eyes and you do that, all I see is Russell Crow and Le May Mizz. I can just look at my screen. There you go. There we go. There we go.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Yes. Oh, breaking news, y'all. Malcolm, the Oz himself said at 1,200, he would show a photo of himself. I would not see this man's face. If you can do one thing for all of us, please do this. I really mean that. Let me get emotional about that because I need to see his face. No one has.
Starting point is 00:43:45 No one. No one. No one has. Maybe Christian. I don't know. Earth. On Earth. Has ever seen Mal.
Starting point is 00:43:51 No. Christian's never seen me. Wow. Whoa. 1,200. Oh, so good. Where were we on that story, Alex? Yes, Justin Simeon will be directing the Haunted Mansion movie.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Obviously, it was made back in 2003 with Eddie Murphy, but this one is now, this new one is said to be a completely different in tone and approach. Steph, are you excited about Justin? Simmyin directing the Hansi Mansion movie. Hell yeah. Justin Simi, I'm a total fan. I love Dear White People. I thought it was an excellent show, completely underrated, underwatched. I suppose by the title, it scares a lot of people if there's black in the title in America, I guess, throughout the world.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Or shows you're in your own identity. I can't watch this. No, no. Yeah, Fred's like, Dear White People, oh, that's not me. They're like, I do not see. I will just continue on with my life. Did you see the Azadale's sketch? Did you see the sketch where they could take five-hour empathy?
Starting point is 00:44:59 And it was, you'd get to feel what it feels like to be a person of color in America. And he's, and he's like, sitting on a day, he's like, no, I'll take it later. They're like, go, no, go ahead, try it out. He's, I'm good, I'm good, man, we'll do it. Honey, we've got some to go to, you know, like, it's this whole thing that he will fruises to. So that's, I think that's what people are like, no, dear white people. Yeah. At 2000, Brett, we'll take an empathy shot to watch dear white people.
Starting point is 00:45:31 No, but seriously, I love dear white people. I think I didn't get to watch the film Bad Hair Day, right? Or what was it called? It's bad hair. Bad hair. But I heard, I heard good things. Yeah. Oh, you liked it, Malcolm?
Starting point is 00:45:45 Yeah, it's so good. It's so funny. Highly recommend. It's on Hulu. right? Right. Yes. Okay, cool. I'm going to definitely check that out. But yeah, big fan of him and then I think that a haunted house could be a really cool, a different direction than we've seen before, especially with dear white people. Dave, I saw you getting excited, fist pumping.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Yeah, yeah. Are you a fan? I'm a fan. I'm definitely a fan. And fun fact, it was during quarantine that I finally watched the Eddie Murphy Haunted Mansion because I I heard it was just garbage. And, you know, so I just was like, eh, I'll pass. Whatever. So, you know, like. And did you think it was garbage? You know what?
Starting point is 00:46:31 Let me, what had happened was. So now, like, when you're a fan of the ride, right? And you're fan of the ride, the movie is great. Because you're seeing all those things come back to life and, like, you're getting, like, even a little bit of more depth and backstory into certain aspects. But if you're just, you know, the average person
Starting point is 00:46:57 coming through and checking out this movie, you're just kind of like, the hell? The what? The what? Why? Who is that? What's the orb lady? What is?
Starting point is 00:47:05 It just didn't make any kind of sense. So I'm very excited to see what we do here. You know, I'm hype. I'm hype. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. I love that. That was a really skilled note that you did.
Starting point is 00:47:24 Very impressive. We see Alex and I, we tour from time to time with our musical prowess, you see. I try to keep it on the DL, but, you know, you might see a musical popping off with me and Alice come here soon. Oh, my gosh. Say less. We all have a ticket to that. It's called Reese's Peanut Butter, and we're going on tour. you know, we're going to make this happen.
Starting point is 00:47:49 A little chocolate, little brown, it's a beautiful thing. You know it. Yes. Sabrina, are you, are you familiar with haunted house, and does this pairing excite you? Yeah, I think the pair is cool. Oh,
Starting point is 00:48:04 Hey, Brett, you know what? Don't correct women. I never want to be corrected in any other way than the way Brett missed. Excuse me, Stefan. But you are. are right, Sabrina. I should have known that after 18 years. Very much. You just got to let it slide. Like, we know what she meant. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:48:26 So just keep it going. Um, no, this is really cool. I love the movie back in the day. Like I saw it when I was like, I don't know, like five or seven or something like that. Um, so it's cool that we're going to get like a refreshed version of it. That film to me is like in the same place as like Scooby-Doo two like Monsters Unleashed. Those are the ones that I would like revisit around Halloween that are like cheesy, ridiculous, fun to make fun of, but like you can also really enjoy it. So it's going to be cool to see what he brings to the table with this one, because I do feel like it's going to be of better quality. Brett, did you ever watch Haunted Mansion?
Starting point is 00:49:03 I did. And I don't, I think it was like, like Sabrina said, it was fun. It was like, I don't think I hated. I don't think I loved it. It was what I expected. I'm interesting to see what kind of a different. take if this is going to get really dark, I would love that. If it wasn't as playful as the other one and it's like really a scary kind of film,
Starting point is 00:49:26 I think I'd like to see that. But again, it's always weird when they do something off of a ride that, you know, what do you, why? That's sometimes what I said. Yeah, they should do coll-off. What's the crazy fucking ride at Six Flags? X or the one where they like take you backwards. Have you been on that one?
Starting point is 00:49:50 Oh, yeah, it was an excess or something like that when like you push me and all that stuff while you're doing the split. See, that's a little too much. That's a tenant adapted that roller coaster into a film and that's why it doesn't make sense because you're like, oh, I'm backwards the entire time and you're not giving me any explanation. I will say Brett, though, just to piggyback real quick off of what Brett was saying. And, like, I do think of the Disney rides. It's probably one of the rides that has the most actual story to it.
Starting point is 00:50:22 And so that's the thing why maybe now, like, when I watched it as an adult, I was disappointed because it's like, yes, such rich source material here. You know, like, I was impressed with how they did it with, like, even, like, the first pirates because that, to me, was just like a hodgepodge of, look at this. Look at that. Look at this. But there's actual, like, stories within, like, each sort of, like, vignette that you go through on the ride. So, you know, in the right hands, this could be really dope. So I'm,
Starting point is 00:50:49 I'm super excited for this. The, um, to see who they cast, like, who's cast it and what the story is, because it doesn't have to be kind of like the Eddie Murphy one. You could center and around something else, so. Mm-hmm. So true. Malcolm, what were you saying? Oh, I was just going to say that the, like, Paris Disneyland version of the ride. Well, okay, let me preface this by saying I'm not an adult obsessed with Disneyland
Starting point is 00:51:18 but there are some very interesting YouTube channels out there that I may have watched a few videos from but the the Paris version of the ride has this whole story around it and like the
Starting point is 00:51:34 land, the like fantasy land or Wild Westland or whatever around it is also involved in this whole like made up history that they've made. So there's a lot that they can draw on that's already there. Yeah. I love that you just disclose that with us.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Thank you so much for giving us insight to your YouTube. Yeah, they should put it in French. They black and white French. I love that, that version. Laumette de majean. John Le Cajon. I've never seen Scary House. But I know I've also never seen
Starting point is 00:52:13 Justin Simeon's other two movies, but the way you guys are talking about it, I'm very interested in seeing those. I also just saw that he's actually show-running the Landau series that that was announced back in December. I totally forgot about that. So this guy is on the up and up. I think we should totally support him and go watch his movies. Yes. Brett, you know what we don't want to look haunted? Our teeth. Yeah. Oh, man. You don't want haunted teeth. No, you don't. You really don't. It smells like a corpse in there. Anyway, so if you don't want your breath to stank, you know, you got to get yourself some quip.

Starting point is 00:57:23 Mm-hmm. Yo, I'm never going to drink another drink again. It's like purple, and then if you put lemon in it, stuff your face. Uh-uh. Yeah, that was disgusting. Oh. Wait. Sabrina, I'm coming over.

Starting point is 00:57:53 I don't even know what hotel it is. But if you mix lemon juice, oh, the Empress Hotel. It's called Empress Gin. If you mix lemon juice, it changes color. Literally let me get a lemon. You guys are about to be sure. Whoa. Yeah, it's infused with delicate butterfly pea blossoms to create a signature jewel tone.

Starting point is 00:58:33 But I like the taste of it. I like the taste of it. I just don't like what it does to my stump, my, my tongue. Aw. Oh, here it goes. This is science. Mr. Wizard. Bill, God, the science god.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Pecto and toxico. Hey! Oh, yeah, she's come. Do you see it's like turning like light purple? Yeah, look at that. Science! Yeah, and it can go over like a light pink. It is so cute.
Starting point is 00:59:02 So I just keep drinking it because it's cute. Yeah, purely because it's no other reason. She'll keep drinking that for $100. And I'm trying to, now that Dave has a cannabis infused, Let's get him to the When the Edible Hits moment on this show. I'm a Star Wars Cup. Let's go. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:59:22 That's go. Hey, Tina. You know it. You know it. Keep sending in those stream labs, y'all. Alex, I know that we did have some stream labs backlogged from yesterday. Do we want to get into those now, or do we have another story? Let's get into those right.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Now, we did hit 223. Step, though. Was that one of our? Yes. Hell yes. We hit 223, which means one of us will be revealing a flashback photo. I really want to volunteer Brett as tribute because when I say he came in with heat, I mean he came in with heat. Brett, I think you can do one or two right now or if you want to do multiple, but at least one from you, do you have one that you want to share first? I'd let you, I'll let Malcolm pick. Okay. Malcolm has to bring him up, right? Yeah. Yeah, Malcolm has all the photos. Let's get to rumble.
Starting point is 01:00:16 Let's see which ones were actually Brett. It'd be hard to guess. Yeah, yeah, that's, ooh, how do you decipher those photos? All right, give me just once in. All right. We'll wait quietly.
Starting point is 01:00:32 I'm confused as to why your drink didn't turn green. Doesn't yellow and blue make green? I've learned this from peeing in toilets. I don't know. It's something, you know, it's science. I could ask Brandon Hanna about it, and maybe he could send you a little demonstration video as to why. Oh, for 3,000, Brandon Hanna will be doing an engineer exclusive. I'm talking guap coat and all. I'll do a screen shirt so you guys can see it too. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:01:13 We are starting off with the category of nudity, the category of nudity. We went to talk to a photo. Well, we all know I've talked about before I love myself a bath. And yeah, I mean, who doesn't wear a Santa Claus hat in the bath and try to become Santa Claus. Yeah, luckily there was enough bubbles in the bath to cover when I was hiding that age. But yeah, no, that's little me. I don't know how you could tell that wasn't anyone else on the panel, Malcolm. Oh, my gosh, Brett.
Starting point is 01:01:55 I mean, what was this taken during Christmas time, or were you one of those kids that just used anything in the costume box whenever you felt it worked? I probably asked my mom to get me the hat because I was doing the, like, the beard thing I was trying to do. Like, what probably fell on the rest of my body was unintentional. I probably had a nice big beard and wanted to get, you know, get the shot, actually. So, yeah, yeah, that's just, man, I still have the same, I still have the same belly.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Oh, my God. Can we pull up one more photo of Brett, the one where he has chopsticks, please? I'm telling you, this one is, like, Brett, you would have been my obsession if, we went to high school together or college. Like this was, I love this look. I guess when we pull it up, we'll get to say what year it was. It's coming right now. Oh, here it goes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:02:55 Oh, my God. What was this taken? What's happening? Yeah, right there. And it says on the little corner, when they stamped them, 94, 94. I asked Steph that no one else on the panel say how old they were or if they were even born in this year. but I was a sophomore in college.
Starting point is 01:03:16 That's my buddy Hide. And Hide always had some flowers. That is off-campus apartment. But yeah, that was, that was, oh, those were some fun times. And that's, my son has that exact same haircut right now. Yeah, oh boy. It's the hair, the chopsticks, and the Asian friend for me. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:42 I had a lot of friends from Japan in college. They had a lot of Japanese foreign exchange students. And we all hung out. And he actually, I probably made a bad decision. But at the time, his, my OG Jordans fit him. And he was, I said, oh, you can have these. And I think they're worth a little bit of money now. But I let him, I let him take original Jordans that I had.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Sounds like that. He probably could buy a house now. Maybe he bought a house with him. Oh, yes. Brett, that is so good. Thank you so much for sharing those photos. We have two more of Brett that we could throw up to later in the segment. But that's a little tease.
Starting point is 01:04:30 Everyone has brought photos like that from different stages in their life. All awkward, all funny. So every 200 we hit, that's what we'll be disclosing a story in a photo. so keep them coming in and at 100. Now Dave has joined the party with Sabrina and I of taking a drink. Brett is taking one out of his little canteena canister, which is, yeah, hell yeah. Whatever you're drinking, that's cool with us. We don't judge at all.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Alex, do we want to get into some stream labs? Oh, you're muted. Oh. Oh, no. Hi. Inappropriated, this is from yesterday. No, Propheagated says, based on the sound of his voice, Malcolm, one, has three siblings, two, was sorted into Slytherin, three, loves old school hip-hop, four, is a pacifist, but is a good shot with a rifle. Five, once worked at a pizza parlor, six, is terrified of Christian.
Starting point is 01:05:29 Malcolm, how many out of those are anywhere near accurate? it? One of them might be right. And I'll tell you... He's afraid of Christian. Yeah, that's it. Welcome to the club. That's it.
Starting point is 01:05:48 No, they're all wrong. All wrong. Oh. God, who is this? I wouldn't catch you as a Slytheran. I wouldn't, I don't think you're a Slytherin. I think Sabrina and I are Slytherans. I think Dave is a great.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Gryffindor. I think Brett is a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. And I think Alex is a Ravenclaw. Did my right? Yeah. I don't even want to see, like, if they ever do any like Harry Potter stuff in the future, I don't want to see the sorting hat. I want to see Steph on that little like stage on that podium, just going like, I think you're a Ravenclaw. Here, yeah, I'll be like Rupol meets the sorting hat. I'm like, listen. Your attitude screams slithering, and we're sick of me. You just give me some Hufflepub vibes. You're a Gryffindore, and don't fuck it up.
Starting point is 01:06:46 Be brave or get the fuck out. We should do a sketch video of that, where we're all, like, all, like, students, and we can have the storying hat. That would be hell of funny. Oh, did I get it? Sabrina, you're a, you're a slither. right? I guess I'm a Ravenclaw. I would say I'm a Slytherin. Like I did the test. I don't know how accurate it is. You know, those were some whack questions. I trust your sorting better than the website. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Brett, am I accurate on you? I've never done it either. But I will say they are 100% accurate. There's the science behind it. I mean, it's probably just been tested for years and years. But no. I don't know. I don't think. And technically my kids, oh no, my son can, but my daughter,
Starting point is 01:07:37 you have to be like 13 to do the test. Is that right? It might be. Oh, yeah, because I guess that's when you can enter Hogwarts. Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, my daughter still does not know. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh, one more year. One more year. Yeah. Get in the coolest daughter in the world. Alex, what are we next in the street? I'm a helpful help, by the way. D-Train says, I think it's officially time we start talking about the New York Knicks. I like to start off by saying, remember the Pixar film, Soul, which came out last year? They had a brief scene where they made fun of the Nix.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Since then, the Nix are currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, winning eight straight games and are six games above 500. It's fun how my life works. Harlov, I'm sorry, I remember you saying that the last time you watched the Nix was when Carmelo Anthony was playing with them. Does anybody have... Oh, also he says, I think it's time to start paying attention. Start getting to know the name Julius Randall. Anybody have any opinions on the Nix? Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:08:40 I'll tell you what. Julius Randall, hasn't he been in the NBA for like 10 years? Wait, where did Brett go? Probably the bathroom. He loves NBA talk. Oh, that's what he left us. Okay. Yeah, Dave, is anyone else a Knicks fan?
Starting point is 01:08:59 I got a I got a I got a I got a Star Wars Cup I got a Mickey Mouse poster in the back I'm a nerd y'all I don't really follow sports like that yeah yeah I'll watch the championships and I like respect it but I feel like Sabrina and I fall under the category of like we're hot girls and meg the Stallions battalion but we are nerds first and so like and then at in the sports it's like far down on the totem pole. And it was funny because, like, I grew up, like, playing sports all the time. I played basketball. I always conditioned with, like, the football teams.
Starting point is 01:09:37 And, like, I was always, like, I liked to play. But I would never, like, follow it and have all the stats and so-and-so-and-so-got, and so-and-trade to this, blah, blah, blah. It was always for me, you know, talking about, you know, the new movie or, you know, this new series or, like, it was, it's in my blood. Yeah. That's exactly how I was. Like, I was doing sports in high school.
Starting point is 01:09:58 school. I did like track. I did cheerleading, all this other stuff. In cheerleading, we're watching a game happening and we're like cheering them on. I had no idea what was ever happening. Like I was always just watching it and I'm just like, all right, cool. And I did it for like eight years. Like so yeah, it's just all about the movie stuff. I'd pay attention to that like any day. The people that can keep up with like stats and keep up with the amount of games that come out. Because like Brandon talks about it all the time. I have a, I have a Mets. I think this is Mets cup. Uh, And he's just like, oh, the Cubs beat them. And then the next day he's like, oh, the Cubs beat them again.
Starting point is 01:10:35 And I'm just like, how do you even keep up with that? I don't know. Yeah, yeah, I know. I know it's fun to watch like the championships, the playoffs, but I can't keep up with all the. I do know Randall, though, and I know that he's been in the NBA for a long fucking time. So I think a lot of people do know his name for the call. Yeah, I think about six, seven years now.
Starting point is 01:10:54 He was on the Lakers and then on the Pelicans, believe, and then now on the Knicks, and he's doing really well there. So good for him. I wish he was still on the Lakers, but oh well. Yeah. Thanks. All right. Oh, yeah. Also, by the way, I saw that there are some interesting things. So ESPN is doing a Marvel cast. They're, they are using Marvel characters within a game. So Golden State Warriors versus the New Orleans Pelicans. They're doing a game on May 3rd, and they're planning to air a special edition of it where it will weave elements from an original Marvel story in characters including Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, America, Black Widow and Doctor Strange into the live action. The broadcast will use
Starting point is 01:11:41 3D virtual characters, animation packages, and customized graphics to tell the tale of the Avengers watching the match in hopes of finding new heroes to help them fight an invading alien army. Okay. It sounds like a wild idea. I hope they do well. So does anybody, would you, would you, would that make you want to watch an NBA game, I guess? If I microdose before, yeah. But I can't picture like, Tachala being like, that man has an impressive bit.
Starting point is 01:12:18 Like, I can't. Like, I can't. Like, I hear. A-O on the court and she'll literally sweep everyone. Everyone. Everyone. That was, I actually think Ayo kicking ass was my favorite part of the entire season of I was.
Starting point is 01:12:38 I mean, literally just seeing her there when he's like, come out. I know you're here. I was like, oh, yes. Oh, yes. Oh, man. Surgasm. It's great. I shipped them.
Starting point is 01:12:49 so I shipped them so hard. I know Ayo and Bucky had a pass in Wakanda when she was, she was, you don't think? Look, no, I am with you 1,000 percent. As far as I'm concerned, that's why
Starting point is 01:13:04 he's, is the way he is when he came back. He's like, once he went to Wakanda, went black, never went back, and like, that's what it is. You know, that's why they gave him his nickname. Like, they, he's had some time in Wakanda. And now that's what he wants.
Starting point is 01:13:21 That's what he wants. Yeah, I know. I don't blame him. If I, if I had the opportunity to get with AEO, I'm in there. I'm in there. I'm not coming back. Talking about smiling, Brett, there's a lot to smile about with A.O. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Definitely. Also, yeah, I mean, I think some people are unhappy with their smiles. I think mine's all right. I got this little choir formation on the bottom. that I kind of stand like this. I kind of might want to take care of that. But you don't have to be unhappy with your smile. Thousands of people have used candid.
Starting point is 01:13:58 It's the clear, comfortable, removable, and practically invisible aligners to straighten your teeth. And now they love their smiles, just like Sharon H from Pittsburgh, PA. I wore braces as a teenager. Flasked forward to 30 years. I had crowding on the bottom, and one of my teeth actually stuck out.
Starting point is 01:14:17 That's when I made the decision to move forward with Candid and I can finally and I finally got my confidence back and don't we all want that? So Candid is here to help you straighten your teeth so you can fall in love with your smile too. Your treatment is prescribed and closely monitored remotely by
Starting point is 01:14:33 licensed orthodontas who's an expert in tooth movement and you have the same quality of care you get in an in-office orthodontas from the comfort and convenience of your own home. And while other companies use general dentists, Candid only works with orthodontas. With Candid,
Starting point is 01:14:49 The same orthodontas who created your plan is with you from start to finish, so you never have to wonder how you're doing. The average candid treatment is about six months, and you'll start seeing results way before then, and it costs, listen to this, thousands less than traditional braces. Starting point is 01:15:53 Oh no, I may have knock on wood. We're good. We're in the clear. It's Friday. It's good luck, though. You got it. Reminder. At the next 200, how far we are away from 400, we will be releasing another throwback focus. Are we closer to the next goal?
Starting point is 01:16:14 Let's keep the drinks flowing, especially since I called off for the rest of the day. glad to see he's back. What do you feel about the Nick Spret? L'all J.K. Yes, I honestly believe Ayo and Bucky had something. Definitely. I like that. I wish we saw a little bit more of that.
Starting point is 01:16:35 Yeah. Yeah. I agree. We're at 273, which means we're about 127 away from our next goal of 400, which will be releasing another set of flashback. Friday photos, which are all fucking awesome. So make sure that you send in any stream lab donation amount
Starting point is 01:16:54 that you can, we appreciate. But $100 we will be taking a drink because it's Friday and we hope that you're drinking along with us or doing whatever you do to make you happy and celebrate that we've made it through another week in a fucking Panda Express pandemic. So there's a lot of reasons to celebrate today. Keep them coming in.
Starting point is 01:17:10 All right, Alex, what's next? All right, April rings. Just Russell Crow photo. We got a new crow. Oh, no crow. New Crow. Who is? New Crow unlocked. All right, next one from April rain.
Starting point is 01:17:25 This is going to sound very backhanded, and for that, I apologize. Oh, well. What are Christian slash Kate and Brett's skincare routine? You all look amazing, like barely are no wrinkles. I'm 35 and look insane. Huh. I've never done anything. I think with me is that I was a really late bloomer.
Starting point is 01:17:46 So, like, I had zits up until I was in my mid-30s. and then I think finally I've gotten through puberty. And so, no, I think it's just genetics. I never wash my face at night, but I did have pretty nasty, nasty, you know. But it was, I had zits for a very long time. It wasn't just like high school bunch of zits over it. It just was like, you know, and I still do. But no, I don't do face-washing or any sort of under eye care or anything.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Genetics. and this amazing filter I have on this camera. Direct sunlight every morning for two hours. Natural light. Being born black helps a lot with one skin. Just throw that out there too. Pro tip, pro tip. Oh, black don't crack.
Starting point is 01:18:41 I know that's right. You see Angela Bassett, tell me, what. Oh, my God. It's unbelievable. Yeah, Brett, good advice. Sorry, I can't give you advice. And speak it, we were watching the voice, Brandy. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:19:02 It hasn't aged a day. Yeah. Moesha. She looks the same for Moesha that she does now. Unbelievable. So beautiful. I would say in general, though, with skin, drink a lot of water, moisturize and wash your face whenever you can.
Starting point is 01:19:20 When you work out, if you have sensitive skin, wipe it off right after. But mostly moisturizing is going to be the key to making sure that you're not, like, getting premature wrinkles. Sunsgreen. Yeah, 100% sunscreen, too. Yeah. Everything.
Starting point is 01:19:36 Chapstick underneath your eyes, all over your face, all over your entire body. Got to do it. Especially, yeah. Hands. Hands are the first place for people to age. think about it. Every time you see an older person, you're looking at their hands, it instantly tells their age, sunscreen the tops of your hand. And especially right now, because we're
Starting point is 01:19:56 like using hand sanitizer and stuff like that, our skin barriers are so bad. So, moisturized. I hate the feel of lotion. And even the other day when I had my sunburn and I was peeling on the show, my wife's like, you didn't throw any lotion on? I'm like, you know, I had to feel of that. I don't like it, vibe. I hate lotion. I get it on my hands and then it's like, I don't know what to do with my hands until it completely soaks in. Just like this.
Starting point is 01:20:26 I don't want to touch anything. Ruel, get what sketch, what stand-up comedy it was. It was on Netflix. I think he's British. And he was like, I don't know what happens in the time between a woman is getting ready for bed.
Starting point is 01:20:40 And when she comes out to bed, but every single woman I've ever been with walks out of the bathroom, why putting their hands like this? You see what your final move. I'm like, it's exactly what we do. I want to go to bed like slimy. You know, that's how moisturized I want to be. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:21:02 I'm not biting that. All right. Wop is not just for the poose. It's for the entire body, you guys. Moistri. I got a wop. I'm going on. I'm like sliding like a friggin snail into bed.
Starting point is 01:21:16 Like it's just. Just like, everything is moisturized, head to toe, baby. I don't care. Okay, Brandon. She's slipping in the bed every night, like, oh, I'm a snake. I'm a snack. Oh, my God. We're only one drinking.
Starting point is 01:21:39 Imagine what we could do with more $100 drink donations, y'all. Keep sending those in. Alex, what's the next stream last? Imagine all the things we can accomplish with more drinks in us. Right? It was never-ending slime talk. All right. Next one from Haskell 420. Hey, gang, part one, so excited for the free-for-all three plus hours or more. Of edge of your seat, excitement and fun, and who knows what surprises are in store for everyone.
Starting point is 01:22:07 Order your food, drinks, snacks, because Saturday is going to be epic. Order your tickets, people. Part two, Christian, now you can watch the Rad 4K Director and Actor Commentaries. Lastly, I saw YouTube is no longer. is now taking an even bigger chunk of everyone's super chats and preventing the posting of the stream lab links in many chats. So everyone, use the stream labs link. We have that pinned in our chat right now,
Starting point is 01:22:32 and it's also in the description of this video. So thank you for that, Ed. And also, yes, we have the free for all tomorrow. That's going to be live at 12 p.m. p.t. So make sure you get your tickets on the Shmodown Live.com. Or if you're a patron at $10 and above, you can get access to that included with your patronage. And you'll be able to get all the other pay-per-view events for free as well. Hell yes. It's going to be crazy, y'all. So check it out. Make sure that you're a patron.
Starting point is 01:23:07 And then you can get all the access first. Free for all is my favorite event. That's the one that is just so all over the place. There's no guessing what's going to happen. There's always twists and turns. and I said it yesterday and Roko said, it is live. I meant, I want to see these again where we all can be around each other and have drinks and like, I want to do the free from. I know.
Starting point is 01:23:30 An incredible experience. An incredible experience. It felt like being like a rock concert or anything. It was so sick. I absolutely loved it. And I'm definitely looking forward to getting back like in person with folks for that. That's really good.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Also, how far are we away from? We only have like 25 minutes left. So any, all of y'all send in your stream labs right now. Get them in so that we can hear what you have to say, comments, questions, concerns. And then also so we can keep sharing flashback Friday photos with y'all and drinking and having a good time. Alex, what's next?
Starting point is 01:24:06 All right, little, little piss boy says Netflix nears deal for the Kiss biopic. Shout it out loud. Paul and Gene will be producing. Do you think it is a good idea to have the band numbers, producing their own story. Shouldn't they just be consulting? Thoughts? I think the same thing happened with Dr. Dre with stray dot of Compton, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, it's interesting because also if you're making a biopic, you don't want anybody to focus on any negative stuff about people typically. So obviously having somebody involved
Starting point is 01:24:41 that's also producing definitely won't have that happen. You know, they take away certain parts of history. So I don't think it's necessarily a, like, a bad thing. But who knows? Yeah, that is what Dre and Snoop and Ice Cube all did. You left that movie being like, damn, good guys.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Which, they're not bad. J. If I've donated $50. What are Elmo's thoughts on moisturizing or lubricant of any kind? Goddard better get the winter day. I've got to bet with some peeps. Well, I know, I know that
Starting point is 01:25:18 I know that the Hollywood Cabal uses baby blood to help their skin. But the baby has to, you notice the baby has to be scared when they kill it, because it makes it more powerful. So, you know, that's what they do. And that's how Anderson Cooper says, looking so young. Elmo, God damn it, stop watching the Qaeda on documentary. I love that skincare regime. Wow.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Dave threw up his drink because we do need more $100 donation so that we can get drinking as we have 20 minutes left in this episode. So send in whatever you have. But on the Straight Outta Compton, it's, yeah, I think that when you have creative control of your image, you can do a lot of good things with it. I think that was actually really, it was an excellent film. I love Straight Out of Compton and I love what they did with it.
Starting point is 01:26:16 but talk about good publicity for all three of those rappers that could easily be misconstrued in the midst. Anyone else have thoughts on that? I mean, I agree with the idea of maybe limiting their creative input and letting them be consultants. Like similarly to like, I mean, obviously it's not quite a biopic, but like with The Conjuring films, you know, having the two of them consult.
Starting point is 01:26:46 you know, over the events that happened. And then you craft a really fun story around it. You know, I get this is a little different because it's an actual biopic. But like, I don't like the idea of things being withheld because it's like, well, I don't want to look bad. It's like, homie, you did it. You know, so I think, again, consulting, I think, is a more appropriate place. I can't speak for the rest of the band, but I did watch, you know, like Gene Simmons family, Jules when that was out.
Starting point is 01:27:19 And Gene Simmons doesn't seem like anybody that's, like, afraid to speak about the things that he's done and, and the scandals and all that, you know, so I think with Gene Simmons, perhaps it might be the other band members that don't want to talk about stuff, but he seems like an open book as far as the crazy lifestyle went. And, yeah, you guys all remember watching that show, right? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:43 I watched it. Every morning. His kids were actually, like, super funny. Yes, yes. It was a pretty funny show. But, yeah, I think, yeah, there's got to be some great stories here and a lot of just insanity. And, yeah, I hope they don't hold it back because it would be interesting. That was one crazy band.
Starting point is 01:28:08 Just hit me up. Hit me up when they have the Flavafelav biopic. Oh, my God. Yeah, boy. Like, I'm ready. Saw every season of flavor of love. Same. Right there.
Starting point is 01:28:23 I'm with you. New York, New York, you open the eyes, baby. New York, New York. That one's, oh, my God. I'm like, you're not even looking at it. You're looking at it. Yes, Alex, yes.
Starting point is 01:28:39 You put up the picture. You did put up the picture. I love it. I love it. New pro. Yay. Good pro. I can't, no, if I stay center within the shot, within the frame, I'll be blocking him.
Starting point is 01:28:55 Oh. Like this. Sexual. Right. Yes. Yes. Absolutely gorgeous performance. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:29:08 We have 20 minutes left. If we want to reach the 800 goal to get Bonnie pranked, which will be fucking hilarious. We need to do a lot of work in these 20 minutes, which I believe in us. Whatever you have, send in right now, $100, we're taking a drink. We're getting this party started on this Friday. And then every, we're only, I believe, let's see, like 60, no, 80 away from our next flashback Friday reveal. So whatever you all have to send in, send them in now. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 01:29:42 And thanks for watching, everyone. Alex. All right, next one from... This is from today. Fugless in the Bronx says, Hello, People. I saw that you guys were about to talk about Scorsese in the description of this bid,
Starting point is 01:29:53 so right off the top of your heads, what are your top two or three Scorsese films? I know Alex will go with the black and white art piece, Raging Bull. L.O.L. Thanks, have a good weekend. Is that true, Alex? No, I'll say... I'll say, ooh, Goodfellas,
Starting point is 01:30:09 and maybe after hours. I watched that recently. Pretty damn good movie. My type of, it's like a early, it's like a Saptie Brothers movie. Loved it. Yeah, that's kind of how I am. I'm a king of comedy, after hours. Silence for my boy Andrew Garfield, maybe.
Starting point is 01:30:29 I loved it. I love Andrew Garfield. King of comedy. He's my number one ever. Really? Yeah, like for real. Something about it. I don't, I have no idea.
Starting point is 01:30:40 But yeah, he's like my number one hall pass. Wait, that. Well, honestly, Brandon kind of, they have like a similar look going on, I would say. Well, sure. I don't think so, but like, I'll take your word for it. Maybe it's just like the brown hair, like similar jawline. I don't know. But so we're cheesy films, yeah, I like, I'm not, Hugo.
Starting point is 01:31:09 I loved Hugo. I thought that was such like a fun little kid movie. Dave, do you have any that come to mine? Oh, definitely. Um, casino? What? Yes. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 01:31:19 Come on. We just talked about that yesterday. Oh, yeah. Um, a g- Shutter Island. Oh. I dug Shutter Island. Oh, you did.
Starting point is 01:31:31 I mean, I did see it when it came out and I was younger, so like, I couldn't tell what was going on. And, like, but I know a lot of people, like, they knew out the gate what was going on. Um, but I enjoyed the ride. Um, the departed is fire. Yeah. Good fellas. Good fellas. Definitely.
Starting point is 01:31:52 I know Brad Ex-Iri-Irish man. I enjoy aviator. And Wolf of Wall Street. Wolf of Wall Street, bro. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:03 Yeah. Let's go. That movie is a lot. That movie is the definition of hitting all five sensory. Like, smell, taste, feel, whatever the fuck they are. I'm like, holy shit, this movie is intense. It's like good times, or I'm like, I can't even breathe right now.
Starting point is 01:32:24 Yeah. Yeah, they need to make an umami genre of film. Yeah. We can put that in there. That's funny. Right, what about you? I think you listed them all. I didn't have to look up because I'm really good at movie trivia.
Starting point is 01:32:41 I'm like, I know Scorsese and I know, yeah, I'm like, But yeah, I think you mentioned all the other ones except for boxcar Bertha. No, never seen it. But sounds like a doozy. There's that word doozy again. Bing-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne-ne. Another $100 for the winner. Taxi driver?
Starting point is 01:33:01 I thought that was odd and kind of creepy, but I don't know if I would say I'd love it. I just know it's iconic, but it's it's. I don't love it either, but. Yeah, it's. Yeah, yeah, meh, meh, meh, ma'am. You take taxi driver and the king of comedy and, like, mix it together. You have 29th's Joker. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:33:24 That's it. Yeah. Seriously. Yeah, well, that's so true. Wow. That's an incredible point. We're about 200 away from 500. We actually would love to make, what was guys?
Starting point is 01:33:39 No, I'm just saying you are working so hard and you had such a great idea. and show staff some love. She's, I mean, keeping her composed. I'd be actually curled up in a ball shaking violently and crying right now. You know, just show her a little love. I know things are tough, but if you have any dimes to give, send them to stuff. She's doing a bang-up job, and she deserves a good show.
Starting point is 01:34:02 So, which we are giving you, but we would like to hit our goal. Hell, yes, we would like to hit our goal. Keep sending in those stream labs. We have about 15 minutes left, so keep sending them in. Alex? I love that face. Soup! Soup says. No spoilers, obviously, but left the finale with mixed feelings. For show that episodes don't have a time cap,
Starting point is 01:34:26 I feel like they needed more time for this finale. The editing really did a disservice to the show. Some moments felt like they were cut too short and needed a few more seconds to breathe. It really made the episode feel rushed. Shadow Dragon Productions donated $20. What's your favorite Leonardo DiCaprio film in where his character did not? die. Oh. Oh.
Starting point is 01:34:47 The basketball diaries. Oh. Catch me if you can. Yes. Yes. Oh, I was going to say that. That's definitely, I think that might be, that's like at least top three Leo movies for me. Yeah. Such a good film.
Starting point is 01:35:07 Right. I like it. Yeah. That one. I have it on digital video disc. Yeah. Digital video. Shout out. Shout out Shadow Dragon for that.
Starting point is 01:35:20 Thank you so much for sitting that in. Alex. Wolf of Wall Street, I guess. Does he die in that? He doesn't die in that. No. No, Jordan Belfort's on, like, TikTok. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:35 He's still kicking. He's still going. A TikTok. All right. Soup was saying. It really made the episode fuel rush and messy like a clip show. It definitely had amazing moments, but the editing and direction did the episode of disservice. I agree for the most part.
Starting point is 01:35:55 If you want to listen to more spoiler reactions, listen to Falcon and the Whisper Soldier on Alex sterio.com slash Alex Marzona. Oh, yes. All right. Lloyd Nance says, Team Steeze. Hey, I love you, Lloyd. Thank you. All right, James McDonald's.
Starting point is 01:36:15 A shout out to Alex and our Spanish-speaking friends and those of Latin Next descent. Google Home Screen is a tribute to the Enye character. Love the crew and love Captain America and the Winter Soldier. Enye. If you go to Google.com, just the homepage, they'll have a tribute to the Enye. So this is pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:36:33 Thank you for doing that. I think they're also promoting my music there. So, yeah, be cool. And I really should do a post about that. Anyways. Let's see. Let's see. Our last one for now is Joe H, who just donates and didn't say anything. So thank you very much, Joe H.
Starting point is 01:36:51 Let me jump up. Thank you. Yeah. Sugar bus donated $20. Vitamin C. That's needed for the face. Also, here's more love, only because payday hit. But I'm curious about what MCU team up, you guys want to see?
Starting point is 01:37:08 I got my Lizzie and Vision, so I'm kind of good on a straight due. U-O-T mop. Thanks, Sugar, but this. Yeah, thanks, sugar. I also see in the chat, some of those can't believe the lack of
Starting point is 01:37:22 Mortal Kombat Talk today. It's dropping tonight. We haven't seen it. We've talked about everything that we could talk about, the trailers, the news. We're waiting to give it a review,
Starting point is 01:37:31 but I think everyone's pretty excited to watch it. So excited to watch this movie. That is my guilty pleasure film. The first one, come on. And the fact that the trailer
Starting point is 01:37:44 The first trailer subtly had this, like, more epic symphony-style version of the Technosindrum theme song. It was, like, more like a ch-j-j-j-j-ch-ch-ch-they, like, subtly put it, like, it looks like the game. It gives me all the vibes I want from the OG. I'm in, 110% let's go. I'm ready. HBO Max. Do you have a favorite Mortal Kombat character? I do love Scorpion
Starting point is 01:38:15 But something about Raiden I really like Raiden I love just God of lightning All that jazz So yeah But I think Scorpion is definitely Second Because you just for the sake of being able to go
Starting point is 01:38:30 Get over here Just like you know Come on When he's got that skeleton head Man it's awesome Breathing fire and shit It's cool lives in hell.
Starting point is 01:38:41 Like he's like the most metal character ever. Yeah, it's so bad. It's cool. It's dope. It's good times. Malina's like the baddest be, you know? Yeah. Love her.
Starting point is 01:38:51 Absolutely love her. I cannot wait to see her in this film. Yes. Okay, we have 10 minutes left. We have to at least break 500. It is, we've been notified that it's payday. So whatever you have sent in, we have 10 minutes left. Let's break 500, y'all, for real.
Starting point is 01:39:07 We got to do this. I think that maybe we should reveal one more flashback Friday photo to like start teasing what we have because I really want to be able to show y'all each of what we brought in because it's so damn funny and I do think that you deserve it and I understand times are tough so sometimes people can't send in stuff but if you do have anything that you want to send very much appreciated Dave since we don't always get to see you I would love to throw up a photo one of your photos I don't know which one. Oh.
Starting point is 01:39:38 Which one out of those ones? I think maybe the... I love the first one. Oh. Yes. All right, y'all. This is an for you.
Starting point is 01:39:51 Even though we didn't break, we didn't get to 400 yet. Please keep sending in stream labs, but this is Dave. And I need explanation. I mean, so what had happened was I was on
Starting point is 01:40:04 I was on a production. I don't remember what the shoot was. But these were just props in the background. And I saw them and I was just like in instant like run DMC and like, you know, LL Cool J vibes. I'm like David Moore. And I'm here to say. Like I'm like, I was right there like in those vibes.
Starting point is 01:40:25 So I'm like, I have to show this. I have to like show that I got some kind of swag because I'm like hardcore nerd. So this was me flexing just kind of rating the props. table behind the scenes being like, check me out, y'all. I'm cool. I swear. I'm going to guess those aren't prescription lenses.
Starting point is 01:40:45 No. Okay. No. So just fashion. It's all fashion. Yes, fashion. The bucket hat. Oh, it's so fucking good.
Starting point is 01:40:56 It's so fucking good. And while we're on, Dave, I would love to take the second group shot because I just need to know what's happening there. Was this a boy band of yours? Were you filming something? Malcolm, if you can throw up that one, that would be awesome. As it's coming up, I will sort of like lead in with, I'm a child of the 90s.
Starting point is 01:41:23 I was born in 88, and so boy bands were a big part of my come-up. Nice. And so my fellow crew members were like, you know what, this is our moment. This is our cover. Let's do this. And so we're literally at work. But we had some friends, another crew member who was like, yo, I'm taking a picture of this. And so he got down, got, you know, the knees.
Starting point is 01:41:51 He's rocking his walkie. And, of course, like every production needs, you got to rock the La Croy. So. Yeah. This was our backstreet's back moment, onset, and I got the, you know, you're killing me small shirt going on. It's just all the right things,
Starting point is 01:42:11 all the right ingredients for this rest of this. And you're leaking off into the distance. Yeah. Suns out, guns out. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 01:42:24 Love that. Speaking of boy bands, should I just show mine, Malcolm? or yes yeah let's let's throw in Alex's right now
Starting point is 01:42:34 and then let's get into your Oscars corner to Alex as we hopefully get in more soon oh back my god
Starting point is 01:42:44 that is wonderful that is wonderful there it is boy realness adorable yeah first of all I'm a puzzle boy don't ever get it
Starting point is 01:42:57 don't ever get it wrong. That's me. And a back street boy. And a backstreet boy. I know. I know I said in sync is my favorite, but I still love the backstreet boys, you know? We just became best friends, Alex. We just became best friends. I said it's exactly. Yeah, those are, that's my brother on the left and my cousin on the right. And that's me in the middle. Wow, you're talking adorable. It me. You look the same. Honestly, you still have that same. energy and glow to you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:30 You try to match it. Alex, can you give us your Oscars corner right now? All right, yeah, let's jump into the corner real quick. The Oscars are going to be this Sunday, and it's going to be wild. I think Nomad Land will win the best picture. I think Chadwick, Daniel Kaluya, Kerry Mulligan, and Yu Jong-Yun will win the acting categories. Soul will win animated, and that's, and Chloe Jat will win directing. If you want to see every single one of my predictions, you can go to my website,
Starting point is 01:44:05 Alex Marizona.com, check it out there. But yeah, I think it's going to be a crazy Oscar weekend. Who do you think is going to win Best Original script? Best Original, I think, let me see. I have Minarie. Yes, yeah. Isaac Chung. If not, I can see promising young women getting it
Starting point is 01:44:24 too, because either way, like, the Oscars like to give it to, like, the up-and-comer. And both of them are up-and-comin and kind of like a christening, like, hey, you guys are new Hollywood. You guys are going to be here. Like, that's why Tyca and Jordan Peel got it in the past few years. So I can see either of them taking it, but I hope Lee Isaac Chung takes it. But yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:45 Me too. Thanks for coming to my corner. Is that where Sorkins nominated in original? It is, yeah. Sorkin's going to take it. Sorkin 100%. I don't want to. I am loving these picks. Yes, thank you.
Starting point is 01:45:02 I believe we're still 100 away, or yeah, about 100 away from 500. We got to break 500. So whatever you have right now is the time to fucking send this shit in, y'all. Please send it in and we will disclose another photo. Sabrina, I would love to see one of your photos or both. Let's do both of your photos because they're both so good. in different time periods. I know you, one of them, you were like a baby, baby.
Starting point is 01:45:28 And then one of them, how old was it? Oh, the other one, I was 12. And I, one sweet. Okay, so that's me and Emmett from Twilight. I waited in line. I was the biggest Twilight fan when I was in like fourth, fifth, sixth grade. And I think this was in sixth grade. and I waited in line for so long to freaking meet him.
Starting point is 01:45:54 And he told me my shirt was cute and I got so excited. And it was just like the best memory. And I think I saw a new moon like right after that. So this was like right before going to see it. Made my life. I fell in love with like books. And I had already read a lot. But like Twilight is what cemented me to loving like books and movies and adaptations in general
Starting point is 01:46:17 because that's a huge part of what I love with film. Yeah, so this was a crazy moment for Little Sabrina. This changed it all. Dude, I don't blame, I just, I just, um, on World Girls did like a 420 best stoner movies. More school has donated $20.
Starting point is 01:46:34 David's first pick, Lando meets William. Yes! Yes, Will I am, baby. Will I am? No, Prince William. None. I'm feeling.
Starting point is 01:46:49 Hell yeah. We're 50 away from 500. Let's fucking get it. I want to be able to disclose my photos to Sabrina. But yes, I think the Twilight movies are the funniest movies ever now in hindsight. Like if you have an edible or like a drink and you're with your friends, watch these movies.
Starting point is 01:47:09 You will laugh your ass off, I promise you. We just did one like two seconds ago. Me, RB3 and Andres, we did a watch along. Oh, that was probably a, Amazing. Then we have baby Sabrina in making her appearance. Oh, my God. Baby Sabrina. That's me and my dad. We were going to see, I believe it was the first X-Men movie or the second
Starting point is 01:47:34 X-Men movie. This is one of my like, oldest, like, theater experiences, something that I remember forever. And I just fell in love with Marvel, with superhero films. And I went off into this, like, deep end of watching like daredevil and all the ones that came out around that time. So I still have the most like loving place for all of them, especially X-Men. So that's why Logan is still my favorite comic book movie. And fun fact, my dad was literally, I think like 23, which is my age right now, in this photo. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:11 He's blocked right now, but he literally just got up and left. Wow, thanks for sharing those photos, Sabrina. We're almost broke 500 when I'm going to put up my photos just because I need to show you all this. And while we do this, let's break 500. Who's going to save the world today? We're almost there. We're about 50 away. Send them in right now.
Starting point is 01:48:36 Oh, my God. Here we go. Oh, wow. The flashback of the flashbacks. No one ever gets to see this fucking photo. This is Steph. I went by Cassie at this time. This is seventh grade Steph.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Why I had my hair like that? I don't know. Was it a coincidence that this was the day that I was dumped by my eighth grade boyfriend? Aw. Oh, my God. Probably just a coincidence. Not anything to do with this hideous fucking hairstyle
Starting point is 01:49:05 that I decided to wear to school. But yeah, you see the braces, you see the baby fat. It was... Why do you look like if Boo grew up in Monstersink? I can know who I am like as a child I've always been Mowgli I'm Mowgli grown up and like trying to find a girl identity and not really sure how to deal with hair that is what it is it was so it's so bad yeah this is I'm showing my roommate yesterday she's like you actually had like a massive glow up I'm like fuck I we all had that the braces makes it so awkward and then I have one more photo from college and This was a real my roommates and I were obsessed with S&L.
Starting point is 01:49:51 So we had quarterly S&L dinners. We all dressed up as a character and would come to the house. I don't know if you've ever seen this Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wig sketch. They're like, I don't know, Carl, but beef sounds right. And it's just such a sketch. And then we have Stefan. And then Kristen Wig when she does the Wilkins show, this was, yeah. But I was, I was, yeah, this was.
Starting point is 01:50:16 Yeah, this was a good time. Oh, my God. That's college steis. Yeah. Thank you for throwing those up. Malcolm. I appreciate it. Okay, we are getting out of here. I think we're 50 away as we get out.
Starting point is 01:50:31 If someone wants to save the day as we start closing out this show right now, send in your stream labs. I would love to break 500. That's always the goal as we enter each and every day of Sien Live. But thank you all so much for watching with us this episode on this Friday. I hope you have a great rest of you. view day.
