Starting point is 00:00:16 What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to S-E-N live. It is the Schmodown Entertainment Network. I'm Raul Kramer. Nice to see everybody here on this wonderful, wonderful Thursday. We are just less than a little over, a little over 24 hours away from the second movie trivia Shmodown draft, the 2021 draft.
Starting point is 00:00:39 It is the most hype the league has ever had. That's right, Ryan. Pump it up because we are excited for this draft. It is nuts, the things that are going on behind the scenes. Anxiety levels are at an all-time high. People are wondering what's going to happen, who they're going to get, is their pick going to be available? The war rooms are already, they're already starting.
Starting point is 00:01:02 And all these managers and players that are on the team are trying to figure out what they are going to do. That happens tomorrow 5 p.m. We got a lot to talk about today on the show. Joining me, Kate Mulligan is here. Hello, Kay. Nice to see you. Hello, hello.
Starting point is 00:01:19 I'm, am I muted, okay. No, but you're, I like the, I like the beetle juice stuff you got going on. I like that a lot. It's you more than once called me. I like it. I like it a lot. It's good. And then we have Alex Marzonia, the one and only.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Alex Marzoni. He's going into the draft. He'll be into the draft. Mr. the artist formerly known as the flouse. Brett Sheridan is here. People better keep their hands out of my cookie jar. That's right. That's right. That's absolutely right. Ryan.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Yeah, and Ryan. And Ryan's here. Ryan, Ryan, Ilson's here. Look, there's a lot to talk about today. We are going to talk about the draft. We're going to talk about these stories. And if you, I had gotten so many messages over the, I mean, everybody obviously was glad that the crew came back. And besides, the reason why we were able to do that was not only because of you guys and your generous donations, but Ryan coming on and us to really discovering him, if you will. Roxy had recommended him. He's fit in wonderful bringing Alex back has been a great thing.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Having all the crew together has been a great thing. But I have gotten a lot of messages. I'm like, oh, man, when you and Brett were doing those shows alone, some of the greatest moments kind of came out of that, whether it's some of those songs and animations, the flouse, you don't know shit, all that. So yesterday, Brett and I went on the stereo app. And we were on stereo for almost like an hour.
Starting point is 00:02:45 I mean, I went to get my groceries and I was on and I was talking to him. And we had, I mean, it was, it was pretty outrageous. Alex, did you listen to any of it? I didn't listen to any of it yesterday, unfortunately. You're fired. You're fired. Well, you should have because it was one of the funnier things that we had done because someone, we had done a 10 o'clock, or excuse me, yeah, 10 o'clock show yesterday with myself and
Starting point is 00:03:08 staff talking Star Wars. And the whole thing was about Star Wars and talking about all these things. when Brett and I were on, we made it a, we made it an absolute mandate that any movie news that came in, we would treat it with absolutely no respect whatsoever. So I think someone said, so the question, Kate, you are going to love this. The question was the guy, the poor guy, he's like, so guys, I was just wondering, like, because people are thinking that Grogu might wind up not making it because of the Force Awakens, is there going to be a conversation with him and Lou?
Starting point is 00:03:41 you know at some point how do you think that's going to go i go well if it was up to me i'd like to see grogoo getting very upset uh he's getting older in his teenage years and he goes screw this jedi shit i want to get some pussy and we we just we just went off on that and i think cocaine off a jawa's behind came into a a couple of the conversations and we laughed and laughed and laughed and those people who were on the stereo app they really uh they got it And if you guys, I'm already, I'm, I'm zeroing in to a thousand followers already. And that's a, that's a big, that's a big thing on, uh, right now because we're getting ahead of everybody. And all of Sien is getting involved in everybody. And the big thing is for you guys, like, you guys can podcast on this thing. This is the, with, with your friends. And you don't need the, the big setup. A lot of people are like, I don't have a microphone. You don't need it. Just get earpods and just talk to your friends. Get it stereo.com slash Christian Harloff or any of the, uh, you don't need. Uh, members here i am desperately trying to get kate on i don't think kate realizes how this is probably going to be the easiest thing for her yeah i actually you too i did download it i just didn't set up my
Starting point is 00:04:50 account yet okay set it up because it is so easy kate it is it's all it is is is we can talk to each other and we can make a show when we're trying to balance family life with actual business and and and the kids screaming in our ears is part of the show money donated 20 dollars amc stock is going to go up redd it is going to crush wall street and we're going to need to need to need to Adam McCoy to direct this movie right away, please. I need to. We got to get into, thank you.
Starting point is 00:05:20 We got to get into this story. I'm not going to pretend I know anything what's going on. This is when we're glad we have Brett. Does? Okay, Brett's going to have to tell me everything. And we'll get into that conversation because this is the conversation I have with Roka this morning because he was talking about some, you know, potential thing we could do for this modem.
Starting point is 00:05:37 But then he goes, by the way, I can't wrap my head around this game stop shit. I keep reading and reading and I just can't understand. what happened here and I'm a smart motherfucker and I wrote I wrote to him I said look same I said to myself I'm going to read about what all what's happening and then I said no so I'm going to listen to Brett or other people to tell me and maybe maybe the rest of the uh you you just did my internal monologue when I see those emails with the stories for the day come through I'm gonna yeah no no no I'll figure it out I'll let Alex tell me what's happening I'll figure it on but but anyway going back to Stereo. Yeah, Kate's going to set up her account and it is so, Kate, you're going to
Starting point is 00:06:16 fall in love with it because it's the most connected to the audience I've ever been and I've been connected to my audience for a very long time. They can send in voice notes. Right now, I believe I'm close to, I think I'm at 800. I think something like that. I believe that's what I'm at. I'd like to try to get, let me double check and I because I want to see when you set a goal right now. I'm at, oh, I'm at 867. So I'd like to get to 900 by the end of today's show. So it's very simple. you go to stereo.com slash Christian Harlow sign up and it's so easy to sign up. You get so easy for you guys to actually podcast and do all that. But the way that you also can do it is you can set up the show.
Starting point is 00:06:50 And I'm going to do that momentarily because Brett and I are going to do a show at 12 o'clock today. We're going to do another comedy, stupid show. And that'll be right after this show. And I'm going to schedule that show. So you'll be able to see it. You can schedule your shows. You invite the person that you're going to be and you have to follow that person. That person will accept it.
Starting point is 00:07:08 And then that's it. It's as simple as that. You just hit the go live button. You start talking and you're in. You're done. And there's a prize right now for people I think is going on for the next like four or five days. But I don't plan to do that. There are people right now that I think that the top person has like 5,000 subscribers or followers.
Starting point is 00:07:23 I believe we can hit that pretty quick. But it's a matter of getting people familiar with the app. Everybody who's using it, all of the audience who's using it right now is falling in love with it. It's just it is, it's that initial push up. I don't want to try another app. I don't want to do another thing. If you like podcast, this was this morning from somebody at Skybound
Starting point is 00:07:44 who was listening to it. And he wrote me and he said, oh, it's done a different thing. But basically what he told me, he's like, I was listening to your stream yesterday on stereo and I really enjoy it.
Starting point is 00:07:56 He was, because he's a big morning radio guy. And he said to me, I feel like I'm listening to Kevin and Bean or big boy Howard Stern again with all the calls and the questions, especially for yours and Brett's show. And that's what it feels like.
Starting point is 00:08:09 It feels like a morning radio show. It feels like you can, like we were missing the call-ins so much from like Collider Live and all of that. And this is, it's the most connected. You get, you get so many questions in. We don't get to get to all of them because there's so many. I think we had something like 40, 40 plus calls yesterday, Brett, when we were doing it. But are you interviewing? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Well, you get to, you know, put a voice to faces that you've, you've been seeing for years, you know, and they come in. And I, you know, yeah, they just, I. you don't realize, I'm like, wait, this guy's Scottish? This one's, you know, oh, it was fun. Big, big, big, it was a lot of time. And I had to do a, or not had to. Somebody, somebody said, do your best Scottish impression of, Oh, that was hysterical.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Oh, that was hysterical. Oh, that was so funny. We actually, and we actually talked about that in the beginning of it. We said, we like, because everyone's like, can I get blah, blah, blah, and blah, we're not doing impressions right now. We'll save that, we'll save that for the main show. but it's like, but it is. It's a very, it's a more intimate show.
Starting point is 00:09:11 If you haven't tried it, you should definitely join us today, um, Brett and myself because you'll, you'll see what it's all about. So I'm going to look, I'm hoping that we can get me to 900 by the end of today's show. Once again, you just go to stereo.com
Starting point is 00:09:27 slash Christian Harloff, sign up for the account. Get the account. It is worth it. It is amazing. You're going to see a lot of people, Sutherland donated $20. Folks, please.
Starting point is 00:09:37 sign up for stereo i means a filter in flouse came in for an appearance even kids are screaming out his name kate would love for you to be on a show with christian also heard a bit of ryan and alex show a go sixers hi brett awesome um we could do a show kate with like when we talk about how racist uh Alex is and stuff like yes oh yeah you know you know those phone calls we have to try to get him cancel yes you got you you you and kate doing a show together would be incredible. Maybe even, maybe you guys can even do the, we are doing an S-E-N after show for, for the up until April, for sure, we may carry it on, but right now we're definitely doing up until April. So maybe we can switch it out at some point. If I'm not doing it, Kate and Brett will do it,
Starting point is 00:10:22 and they can just, it's, once Kate gets a hang of it, I feel like she's going to be on it a lot. It's very, it's very addicting. It is very easy. That was, I tried to get Matt Sarah to do it yesterday. I told him, say, hey, Matt, I want to go, I want a podcast. My exchange with Matt Sarah yesterday was something of legend. Yeah, it was amazing. So are you a UFC fan, Ryan? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:44 No, I'm not. Listen to the conversation. But everybody knows Matt, Sarah. Everyone wants that. Here's the conversation that I, that I have with them. I said, what's up, champ? I've been podcasting a lot on this app. Would you want to do something with me this week or next?
Starting point is 00:10:58 It's super easy. He said, he's like, I'm doing a podcast right now. I'll hit you up after. I was, okay, cool. And then he goes, hey, man, listen. You want me back. He's like, sure, let me know when you want me on. let's do it. And I asked them if you sign up for the app. We can literally do it whenever you're
Starting point is 00:11:10 available tomorrow. Friday. Just let me know. It's like a phone call with you and I that's broadcasted out to our followers. And I see that a few fighters are doing it already. He said, a few fighters are doing what? I said to sign up for this app. I said it's a new app. It's really easy. I love it. And he goes, why do I need an app? It's a podcast app. Basically, once you sign up and follow me, I can follow you and we can talk. We can talk. We're talking now. He goes, he's like, listen, I'm on the mat. I'll later uh i thought you met in your show i said i do me my show that's where i'm and he goes talk to you later and i said i was like you know how fucking badass like i'm on the mat and he's choking somebody out while he's texting me he is he is the best i love that sarah if i was living in new york i would
Starting point is 00:11:53 try to i i would absolutely sign up for his to go to i would want him to train me i absolutely would want him to train me i i would he's the he's the one guy i feel like would absolutely get my lazy ass into shape. However, however, for the first time in months, I used that damn treadmill. Not for a knuck. No, not for a nung. I used it. I must have used it for over an hour and a half, two hours yesterday because I did a long stream with Brett. And then I did a Q&A on the Shmodown with with Bateman on stereo. And all I was doing is on my, my ear pods just doing the treadmill. That's it. That's it. And it was it was that easy because I'm just having a conversation about everything. Podcasting. I would like to be doing that now.
Starting point is 00:12:34 but I have my whole setup here. I got all this stuff. Have you noticed my angle has been better, Kate? Have you noticed that? You know what? If it took me shaming you, I feel great at. It didn't. It didn't take you shaming me.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It took that piece of piss chair that I have over there that sucks. The wheels are falling off of it. Like all this shit. It's like my kids get 87 new pairs of sneakers and I had the same piece of shit chair for like the last like, you know, six years. I know, but their feet grow. It's true. It's true. It's true.
Starting point is 00:13:03 And their feet grow. No, I get it. That's why, that's why, but it's not like I've ever thrown that chair, right, Brett? No, not at all. Hey, hey, you want to, you want, you were sold down a little bit of that party? It was my favorite. It was my favorite. We couldn't get the Zoom. That chair, and I complained about the wheel falling off.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Meanwhile, I threw it like Goldberg across the, across the room. I'm like a kid just kind of sweeping up the glass of a broken room. Yeah, that's, that's. putting the wheel back on. Here it's all fixed, Papa. But this, not one of those, not one of those type. The chair's been in, everything's been fine since I don't have to do any of the tech stuff. I turned into my, I turn to my dad when it comes to tech stuff.
Starting point is 00:13:46 If I'm, if there's certain things, it is, it is, it is not for me. The tech stuff is not. It's not. It's like I can, if, if Ryan sends me a link and all I got to do is hit the Zoom thing, I'm in. When it comes to, I need to set it up. No, we're in trouble. We're in trouble.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Can I also say, Christian, how many times a week do you find yourself saying just about anything. Nothing can be easy. I find myself using that curse. Absolutely. And it's like, you know, it's like, oh, something fell out of the dishwasher. And then it's like, oh, then it got burned. It got in the heated thing. And then I've got to peel it off. But then I have to unscrew it. And I'm like, nothing can be easy. I mean, it's like my new mantra. It's a horrible victim mentality. It's either nothing can be easier. Of course that's what happens. Of course. That's right. Because it's our great. We have everything set up. We got the big interview with so-and-so coming in. And all the.
Starting point is 00:14:32 the camera's just dropped out. Nothing's working. Great. Perfect. That sounds that sounds stereo because it's a two clicks and you're live. Dude, it's so easy. It's so easy. And I have to be on Wi-Fi or can you do it on data? You can do it on data? Yeah. It's style up Kate. Yeah. Exactly. So at a point, so let me, this is my favorite here to to Revena Black who is obviously new to this show says, and I quote, at what point are you guys going to start talking about the title of your video. Well, let me give you, I'm going to give you the answer to that, Ravina. I was going to do it in about five minutes, but because you asked, probably 20. So it won't, it won't happen anytime soon. So either come back, but don't.
Starting point is 00:15:13 All right. So we lost Ravina. No, we lost Ravina. Sorry, Ravina. So this is, so going into this, this app when you go and you can, I was talking to Brett. And I realized it was funny because I'm, again, used to doing it like this. And I said, okay, we have it for half an hour. but we're really moving and we're getting some comedy going here. I was like, shit, I got to end this early. And I said, wait a minute. No, I don't because I had to go get my groceries. I did that Ralph's pickup.
Starting point is 00:15:39 And I go, Kate, and I go, and I just, in the whole time, and Brett, like, killed me. I didn't realize, I didn't tell Brett this. The woman comes out and she goes and she's delivering, she's putting the stuff in the, in the trunk. And she's like, oh, there were a few substitutions. And Brett is commentating it to the audience. And I didn't realize what he was doing. He's like, oh, she said. that you got to replace this with that and that with this.
Starting point is 00:16:03 And we started going in on it. And it's like they always tell you, hey, you know, we didn't have eggs. So instead, you know, we gave you a block of wood. Yeah. Yeah. I tuned into this part. Exactly. I just don't give it to me.
Starting point is 00:16:20 I don't want a substitution. Yes. I'm almost up to 500. Hey. Hey. Oh, look at you. And somebody must have written my profile. It says probably the most famous.
Starting point is 00:16:30 person in the world. That was, that was really good. So now, poor Ravina, poor Ravina. Now that, now that chat, the chat who is aware of our show is answering her. And somebody said, Ravina, probably tomorrow afternoon. And someone says, now, never. They're not going to, they're not going to talk about it until they go live on stereo. Oh, so good.
Starting point is 00:16:57 And so funny. And so funny. Somebody even knew it. So someone said, uh-oh, Ravina is going to get lit up. If Christian sees that comment. Oh, man. Or Revena. She just wanted to know. So, Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:17:07 It's a good show. Okay, moving on. So we have the... It's a good show. It's a good show. No, but we should get into that topic absolutely right now. So, Brett, tell me about the GameStop stuff. What was going on? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Man, they're putting a squeeze on the hedge funds, boy. Yeah, what is that? What's happening? What's happening? It's like a Reddit thread or whatever that's all the... The stonks, if you will, with the new word I learned. What's stocks? It's like Alex needs to know what stonks is.
Starting point is 00:17:42 It's like when you, when you watch a movie, you go, this stongs. It's like little guys. You think that was a racist term? Because you said I would know it. No, I just, I did that thing that Brad always does when he doesn't know something. He says someone else doesn't know it. Yeah. I did that thing.
Starting point is 00:17:57 That is my new favorite. Yeah, right? Right. Like the nicest person in the world. But Brett, talk to me like, uh, uh, uh, I'm an idiot. So basically talk to me like you're talking to me. And tell me what is happening with this GameStop stuff, please. Well, GameStop, you know, of course is worth, you know, nothing, I guess the stock and AMC. And there's a bunch of other ones that are doing bed, bath, and beyond. And they're driving these up because they're heavily shorted, which means people are big guys, people with lots of money are relying on them going down. So as they go up, these people will lose money and they're trying to stick it to the big guys, I guess.
Starting point is 00:18:40 That's the dumb down version. I don't quite understand the whole shorting thing. Yeah, I actually, so I read the big short, which is the book that that movie was based off of. Now that had to do with like credit default swaps. And I mean, that was that was the whole thing where basically in that case, they took all of these. Merge-Bridge-back security. Oh. Through Super Chat.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Thank you. Hey, Stinkers. Thank you. For those that weren't on a show yesterday, can we get your fancast movie with actors slash artists that were born the same year as you? Three actors and artists for the soundtrack slash score. Looking forward to the stereo after show.
Starting point is 00:19:18 I saw that. Okay, Alex, hold that one when we go back to the streamlaps in the super chats later, and we'll make sure that we do that. It was basically just you that needs to answer. Yeah, because we all answered. Everybody else did it. Did it. Anyway, but basically where these hedge,
Starting point is 00:19:31 and that was the guy that the Christian Bale character played this he was basically saw that the that wall street was was putting these these worthless mortgage back securities bundling them in a thing and that guy's like i'm going to bet against that and basically you when you short something it's just betting against it so basically all like i don't know how they figured out that all these hedge funds had been shorting these stocks but meaning betting against them and basically they see money when the stocks go down whereas everybody else sees money when the stock goes up. I see. So, so then, so they all ended on Reddit. So everybody on so basically they saw it. So somebody put in a lot of money on GameStop because the, because the,
Starting point is 00:20:12 because the stock was going down. Somebody with a lot of money put it said, okay, I'm going to make more money as more as it goes down. And somebody on Reddit said, hey, this is one of those ones. Let's put a lot of money into it. So they put shit tons of money into the stock. It went up. And then the hedge fund money lost a lot. And then they, everybody who put money into it, it went up because it kept going up. Is that the distance? Not quite yet. I think Friday is when the shorts you get, you're at the end of the week.
Starting point is 00:20:37 So, but basically, if you would have put money in it when it was $40 a week ago. Yeah. And it shot up to like $450 at the morning today, but now it's back down to $2.29. But you're still, you know, but the whole thing is I think that they're supposed to all hold it. You're not supposed to sell it off because, but I think a lot of the stonks, if you will, Like if I bought a bunch at 40 bucks and it went up to 450, yeah, I'm sorry. I'm not part of the cause anymore. I'm not, I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 00:21:09 I still don't get it all the way, but it's just I, but we'll, we'll see how they figure out. Maybe they'll dress it in the Game of Thrones animated series. I don't know, but seriously. But talking about let's let's let's shift. Now, let's be fair. Let's get to, so Game of Thrones is very much like my house. Inside of my house, I say the kid, my kid is one of the dragons, for sure. craziness happening in my house all the time.
Starting point is 00:21:31 It is nuttiness. And your wife's your sister. The dogs are like big wolves. So there you go. That's my comparison again of wolves. Well, we'll get into the animation in about an hour or so. So if we move on to some other things. Oh, so sorry.
Starting point is 00:21:48 So sorry. Oh, very God, believe. That's a wholeness. Oh, it's such a good song. Oh. Hombonga. Some boom fans on holy.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Stokes. Stonkum. Ha, I've been animation from gung gung gong gum gum
Starting point is 00:22:14 bumba Zonto Harping pa fumbas in blood Horio I was I've been screaming out in my house
Starting point is 00:22:26 I've been pissing off my wife I've been doing this for no reason, right? Well, there is a reason to it. I've told the stories of of Barnaby before my my friend from school that the one who clipped the,
Starting point is 00:22:38 uh, the, uh, the mortal combat law. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes,
Starting point is 00:22:41 my favorite thing that he ever did, ever. And I don't know why is this, this might be only funny to me because I'm a, you know, I'm a lunatic, but he used to, we,
Starting point is 00:22:53 we'd go to when I, anytime I go back to New York and Manhattan, we walk on the streets and he would have on this like little, you know, the, the, the, the, the, warm as years and everything to,
Starting point is 00:23:04 and we'd be walking at his long, coat on and he would he would go to the other side of the street. Remember, this is Manhattan and it's about a busy as possible, super busy. And he would go to the other side of the street or he'd be on the same side of the street as me and he would
Starting point is 00:23:19 look out and he'd go and scream out and he'd go, wave his hand. And people would be looking like, is he is he yelling at me and he'd be yelling at no one. Right? And so he just scream, hey, and I have it somewhere on video where it's from my, my, my, my wedding. He came to California and he's up on the balcony, I'm getting ready, I'm putting my tucks on,
Starting point is 00:23:49 and there's people walking downstairs, and he screams out, hey, like they like scatter like, like, rats. They're like looking up like this, because it's like this big booming voice. And it's just, and so for some reason I've had it stuck in my head. And my wife was like, why are you doing that? And then I hear my three-year-old go, ah! It's so good. It's between that and, uh, put on the heat.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Put on the heat. Well, Fauci, hey, listen, I got to be honest, sweet cheat. You know, I figured we were going to keep him in the basement forever, but, you know, and he kept screaming on, put on the heat, put on the heat. And Biden came in and said a load of the guy. So what are you saying? I don't say hello. You don't say hello to him.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You don't say hello to him. And then he said a load of him. He opened the door. They got scattered out. I mean, can't scream. No, there's no more heat anymore. It's really disturbing. Christian, this is triggered for me.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I want to know who in the Shmodown, S-E-N community was at your wedding. Who was at my wedding. Yeah. All right, let's see. I mean, you and I weren't, you and I weren't friends at the time. I mean, not that we weren't friends. No, but not as close. We've gotten closer since you came up.
Starting point is 00:25:01 It's not like I'm like, why wasn't I invited? Right, right. No, no. Well, let's see. Was Brett there? You can guess. You can guess who was there, and I'll say, I'll say yes. I think Gucci was there.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Yes. I know Alice had to have been there, obviously. I think Brett was there, maybe? What year was it, Grashe, 2004? My wedding? Are you out of your mind? I'm sorry, no, no, no, no. Sorry, stop, stop, stop, stop.
Starting point is 00:25:26 That was my wedding. 2007. Nope, definitely not. Well, because we had a fresh. baby at home is our first date. It must have been 2008, no? It was 2000. If you've seen the sound of metal is the music really loud.
Starting point is 00:25:40 I really want to see it, but I also have a sensitivity to loud sounds and some heavy metal music is overwhelming. I don't want to bail out and always wonder. Excited for draft. Me too. Who is this that said that? Pishman. She's asking if you've seen the sound of metal is the music really loud. I think we missed that part.
Starting point is 00:26:01 I have it. I want to see it. seen it. It's got a really cool sound design. I mean, Alex, you could probably talk about it, too. I don't think it's as effective if you don't have the volume up, but if you're sensitive to sounds like that, it might not be for you. Yeah, it's mainly more in the beginning, I'd say, well, the metal music, but yeah, I mean, the sound design is amazing. I think it's definitely worth to watch. Okay, well, yeah, I had that. I think it got married in 2009 or 2010, is what I I would guess.
Starting point is 00:26:28 2010 is accurate. Okay, so that's what it was. It was our first, no, it was our first outing after Lydia was born. I knew it was one of our baby,
Starting point is 00:26:36 like it was the first date and we had to leave early and like we're leaving and everybody's like, wedding. And we're just like, okay, bye guys.
Starting point is 00:26:45 We don't get a party because we got a babysitter. It was 2000, it was 2010 for sure. Okay, so I think then probably Kenny. Ken was there. Yeah. Um, uh, uh, Macuga, maybe.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Did you know, not, I, I didn't know him yet. I didn't know macuga yet. Um, trying to think of other good people that I know. Brett was there. Riley was there. Um, yeah, there's, there's people, there's people in the comedy world that were there,
Starting point is 00:27:12 but not part, not necessarily. I mean, and I know you're not a fan of, uh, we don't have to get into it, but like, uh, Steven Azisi, so I'm close with, he's, he was there. Um, Eliza. Eliza Slesinger was there, yes. Um, a little known comedian named, Jim Carrey.
Starting point is 00:27:28 That is not true. Brett Ernst there? Brett Ernst was not there. No. Let's see. I'm trying to think. Oh, DJ, obviously. DJ was there.
Starting point is 00:27:37 RB3. I didn't know RB3 yet. No. Adam Winkleman. Yeah. Try to think he was there. Wait, Bonnie. Bonnie was there.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Bonnie was there. Bonnie was one of the bridesmaids. Yeah. Bonnie was there. Was she with Winkleman at the time or no? What's that? Never mind. No, it was, no, it's okay. I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:27:53 No, that was actually a, that was actually a, year or two afterwards he had just start he that that night he went on his I think the day after he went on a date with his now wife yeah yeah it's just crazy so um but yeah I'm sure there's
Starting point is 00:28:10 some more people there you're big into love connections because the day after your barbecue Bonnie or that night of your barbecue Bonnie went to the guy that's now going to be your husband it has nothing to do with me it's the places I've set up yeah or the places we set up I guess but it has not yeah has nothing to do with that
Starting point is 00:28:26 so somebody said rb3 was six at the time he was the ring bearer he was not he was not there um anyway oh kaiser was johnny kaiser there kaiser no it's funny is i probably know kaiser out of the entire crew longer than anyone even brett even brett like brett's probably the brett and then riley but um but kaiser i met so i don't know
Starting point is 00:28:56 know people realized this i don't know how much i talked about it but i was at florida state and for the summer i took the summer off of florida state i didn't go to the the summer program there i went to the ucLA and new york film academy at the time which i think a lot of people know about it now but it was just they decided to put it in at ucLA and instead of i was like you know new york i lived all my life i didn't want to do it in new york because i've i go back i went back for the summers there anyways but then they when they moved and they did it at ucLA i said i want to do this so i was supposed to room with adam winkleman who's you know one of my best friends who's actually just moving it just left to move out of california two days ago he's moving back to
Starting point is 00:29:35 florida now but uh but anyway um he he and i was supposed to live together he wound up going to miami so i was like crap so i went up living with my with this or rooming with this guy i named um dan but either way i go out to this program and i'm out there and i wanted to make this movie called my final project was this movie called Burke and it was a mixture of people I knew from college my friend Jay my friend Jeff and it was it was this kind of this
Starting point is 00:30:02 crazy comedy that about this this ridiculous character Kaiser was one of the people in the film school and I said I wanted him to play this character Burke which I have on it's online somewhere I should play a little I'm going to find it and play a little
Starting point is 00:30:20 of it but but and I found and I and I and John was in it and um and we became buddies but he went back to Rochester and then he showed up for a schmowdown in like 2014 and was there to watch because he were just buddies and then it turned out he was friends with smet and I didn't start hanging out with John again until probably you know the shmowdown like heavily like hanging out with him I was in contact with him and we text each other but he started hanging out again in in like 2019 so no so he wasn't there but uh but yeah so anyway um I'm gonna I'm gonna look for that Let's talk about this topic that everybody wants.
Starting point is 00:30:55 So here we go. So stereo is an app. You go to the app. It's great. I'm close to 900. You go over to the stereo app and you go stereo.com slash Christian Harlov and you follow me. Get me over to 900. If you want to hear me talk about animated Game of Thrones and you want to go to stereo,
Starting point is 00:31:17 I probably won't talk about it there. It's not guaranteed we'll talk about it here. If you go, you can hear us talk about a lot of very important things. Like, will I ever get sleep is something that we'll talk about for sure. Even years later, we'll talk about, you know, falling asleep on the couch. There's tons of stuff that we'll be talking about that's very hot in the topics today. Ooh, that trill. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:31:53 I'm just kidding. Let's talk about this. Patreon. It is the it happens movie trivia showdown the Patreon. It is all there's a lot. It's a lot of great tiers. There's three pay-per-views and exhibition match. If you join the $10 tier for the page for the Patreon,
Starting point is 00:32:10 you have three pay-per-views, one commentary match. You get, if you join the pay-per-views for a post-match Q&A, it's a $20 tiers, a live Q&A stream with a personality once a month and merch discounts on new items once we start getting into the individual merch in a little bit. But that being said, that being said, let's talk about it, Alex. Go ahead. Bring it up. All right. So there's a coin called Dodge coin.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I think the pronunciation is different, but that one, because of Carol Baskins, went up a cent today. And I bought $38 worth of it at a one cent. And then I made $20 today. So that's kind of a fun thing. Thanks to Carol Baskins, a murderer. Thank you. A murderer. Hey, Alex, I've changed my mind because I found Burke, so we'll talk about that story.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Let me share it. I'm going to play this. I want people to watch this. I don't think anybody has seen this before. This is Burke. I want to play this. I'm going to play this whole movie for you guys because it's worth it. It's worth it.
Starting point is 00:33:15 And you guys have never seen it. And I want to see the comments from the, from the audience as we as we play this here. It's a watch along. We can, we can comment on it and stuff. We'll have the audio. Love the audio. All right. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Here's the, let me, let me share this. We should do a commentary on stereo though right now. Yeah, we should. We should. All right,
Starting point is 00:33:36 where is, where is, there it is. Is this available in the Oculus? Can I watch it on the Oculus? Yes, you can actually. Can you, can you see it right now? Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Left Right productions. Yeah, left right productions. All right, here we get something with them. Oh, this is double of that. I came out with left right productions
Starting point is 00:33:49 before left right was a thing and I just never copyrighted it. So they have it now. So here, here it is. Oh, yeah, that's me. Name's Burke. And let me guess, you're wondering.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Why is this guy all alone? What's wrong with this guy? He's all alone? Who's he waiting for? The truth is, I ain't waiting for no one. Reality is that people don't respond to me too well. I think that I have this problem with popularity. Now, here's a perfect example.
Starting point is 00:34:39 This guy here, Jerry, Jerry Andrews. Probably the most known man on campus. Captain of the track team, dropped dead gorgeous girlfriend, and still manage to keep a three eight his entire cow coming to my own. Now take this fucking guy, Dumber than shit. He's passed out underneath a tree.
Starting point is 00:34:57 No class whatsoever. It's amazing how much freedom people think they got. And that's when Burke has to introduce himself. No one gets special favors. Women? I interact with women. How I do it is with sheer class. My mother always told me that I needed to be more patient with people.
Starting point is 00:35:26 For what? People are idiots. You have no reason to deal with them. People who ask directions, morons. Now, this guy can afford a viper, but he can't afford a map. Hey, pal, you don't know where you're going. Sit down, map it out, and then get in your fucking car. Don't depend on me. Now, that's why I'm sending this silly son of a bitch to Compton.
Starting point is 00:35:44 And I'm sure you're all wondering if people ever confront me. I'm sure. I've had my fair share of confrontations. Most harassment of mine is either mental or physical. Both are fun. No matter to me. Now this is a day I'd like to talk about. The most ironic experience that has ever occurred in my life. In the 22 years I've been on this earth, I've never done a nice thing for anyone.
Starting point is 00:36:22 A little bit I know that by doing something me, I'd actually wind up doing something good for someone. So, I'm on my way to get cigarettes when. I found myself in a great situation. And there stood Alan Deverman. By far, the biggest douchebag on the planet. I mean, look at that guy's fucking shirt. No old class. He was just calling for reality check.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Burke style. That's when I met him. This lump of shit. He just stood there, hunched over, mumbling the stupidest crap I'd ever heard. I mean, look at this fucking guy. He was drunk out of his skull, glabbering about. He finally just passed out. And that's when it all happened.
Starting point is 00:37:50 So I dove into the suitcase. And right before I was going to handcuff this prick to the fence for the rest of his life, I felt something real familiar. It was that same feeling I got before I pushed someone down a flight of stairs. But instead of fucking this guy up, I cleaned him up. And it felt good. I'd finally done something good for someone. I thought, this could be the day I changed my life around and actually tried liking people. If I enjoyed helping people, as much as I did fucking with them,
Starting point is 00:38:46 Maybe I could give it a world. I see skies of blue, blessed day, the dark saving night. And I think to myself, what a wonderful word. That was Louis Armstrong, with a wonderful world.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Well, now are not so wonderful news, and a parent prank as the folks of Guinness World Records up in arms. Yesterday, the man with the record for world's longest beard was attacked and shaven entirely clean. Before 30s figured out, who he was he had been arrested for stealing college student Ellen Bieberman's
Starting point is 00:39:33 suitcase earlier in the day more news at 11 a scorpion and a frog on the side of the road the scorpion says of the frog take me on your back we both can make it frog says no way if I carry you on my back you'll sting me before we get to the sidewalk scorpion says no I won't I promise so the frog gives in lets the scorpion get on his back halfway through the journey the scorpion stings the frog Why'd you do that? Now we're both going to die. Right before they both got hit by a car,
Starting point is 00:40:07 the scorpion said, I'm a scorpion. That's my nature. Oh, by the way, names Burt. So, Kaiser got a standing ovation. I didn't want to miss anything. Just to stick with the show's theme here, I'm going to go to the bathroom now if you're going to talk about Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Yes, yes, yes. So if anybody wants to, wants, if anybody wants to actually see that whole movie again, you can go to, you just type in Christian Harloff, Burke, and it'll, it'll, it'll pop in there. But it was, but that's what, but yeah, so that was pretty great. I can't believe you got the Ramones and Louis Armstrong's permission for that one. I'm surprised they signed the release. They signed in. They signed in. I should actually upload that to this channel, even though, you know, it's going to not be, uh, it's not going to be approved. on something different level.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Donated $20. Hello, horny cunts. Are we do songs in the end? If so, can I suggest Alex singing Wonderwall by Oasis for a goal? Are we doing impressions? If so, can I get Jesse arguing with Wotto that M.J. is the goat not LeBron.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Thanks God bless and keep eating pussy. Oh, thank you so much. Today gonna be the day, Alex? Yeah, you know, that's actually a great idea, by the way. Keep eating pussy? If you want to stay married. $20. Good day, Christian and crew.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Really enjoyed the stereo sessions yesterday. Lots of fun. Kate, you look beautiful today. Can't wait till you get on stereo too. Have a great day, guys. Thank you. Thank you. By the way, so someone actually suggested this.
Starting point is 00:41:52 I'm nine away from 900. And if I hit 900, then we'll talk about the Game of Thrones. Oh, nice. It's Travis. Thank you so much. I took a piss during our show. That's what's great about Stero. Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:05 And you and you and you broadcasted it. Oh, so then it is like Brett and I talking on the phone. Yeah. Well, do me a favor, by the way, because I know Kaiser is going to probably text me within seconds. Can everybody tweet it Kaiser and give him,
Starting point is 00:42:19 give him your favorite moments from Burke and also whether it shows some class or, you know, did I tell you that I tried to pitch him to play Burke as this character before he came into the league? And he said, absolutely not. You did say. but for the record
Starting point is 00:42:31 he is playing Burke I know you pretty much there's a lot yeah there's there's he takes a lot he does say show some if it's always for me but now it will be for the audience when you hear it he says show some class every once in a while and that is a throwback to Burke
Starting point is 00:42:47 and if you go back and you watch old scenes of him in the shmowdown he says it and that's always been between him and I now the audience will get it. It's show some class yeah someone says the Kaiser still have that shirt that shirt was actually given to one of the people that the uh that the uh character was based off of and i wouldn't be surprised that person still has it um why'd you sting me it's in my nature
Starting point is 00:43:11 you could right someone said it seems like more like a documentary about kaiser's actual like it's absolutely and some i'm glad people people seem to enjoy it so um uh anyway so you can you can i should probably go put that up on the channel and but go go to uh just everyone tweeted Kaiser. Everyone tweeted him and tell him that Burke was his career achievement. Let him know. All right. What's that?
Starting point is 00:43:39 He's going to be like, why everyone? Why is everyone Twitter? He's like, how did everybody discover Burke all of a sudden? Someone said he predicted the world girls. Yeah, it's true. All right, let's get into this thing. Oh shit, guys, we hit our goal of not making any money today.
Starting point is 00:43:55 It's true. It's true. I gave up on it. I probably should. I'll put all, I'll put all the weight on Roka's shoulders tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah. Because Skybund and everybody. Sorry, Roka. We tried. We tried. We really tried.
Starting point is 00:44:10 We should just, we just should call the, this, the title of this episode, Burke review. A slight echo on your end. Yeah. I don't know. It's better. It's fine. All right. Good. Okay. Let's, let's get into topic.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Wanda Vision, this third episode is coming in I think four of that episodes coming in tomorrow. So make sure you check out the Inner Geekdom show. That'll happen. And yeah, that's it. No, no, no. Someone said 900, Angel Elvis says, ha ha, $900 is
Starting point is 00:44:46 a fear deal. Not $900. So it was a 900 on stereo. I got to get to 900 on stereo. In order for us to talk about Game of Thrones, you want to put a price on it. $2,000 is fine. All right, let's get to the next topic what do we do is game with throes do an animated series is that what i hear yeah i'm very sorry all right well the cast list for netflix's the sandman has expanded and made
Starting point is 00:45:11 official with tom sturge on board to play the lead role of dream and gwendoline christie joining is lucifer the show is based on neil gammon's dc vertigo comics and with the 11 episode first season expected to adapt the first arc of the comics christian does his cast list make you excited for the sandman series Geez. Yeah, you don't want to get into the Game of Thrones? Yeah, Alex is like, we're just skipping it. You're just skipping it? Listen, how do we know when the bits up?
Starting point is 00:45:38 Because I'm with Alex, I thought we were supposed to keep avoiding it. Yeah. Wait. Is the bit up? But did we decide in the pre-shel meeting? Wait, did he get 900? Did you get 900 followers? Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Let me see. Sorry, I should probably state of my word. Alex, honey, I'm with you. I'm not going to let them come for you. No, I didn't. Even though you called me a cunt yesterday. Oh, that's not all right, guys. Really, Alex.
Starting point is 00:46:01 It's really out of line. Yeah, I was out of character, out of line. I think we're finding it. I think we're finding it wasn't out of character is what we're finding. Oh, yeah. Correct. Anyway, there's five followers. I just need five followers on stereo.
Starting point is 00:46:17 And then we'll go to stereo.com. Brett's not kidding. Brett's kidding, but not kidding the same time. The reason why we're able to actually keep people on the show is because of your donation. So if you're able to go on over to streamlabs.com slash the schmowdown and just shmobot the hell out of us today, please, if you're able to hit us up with whatever you want to talk about. What did you think of the movie? What did you think of the movie? What did you think of Kaiser in the movie? Anything else that you want to talk about?
Starting point is 00:46:41 Anything you want to talk about with the draft? Head on over to streamlabs.com slash the schmodeown. So, all right, let's get into the actual. It's fine. I'm sure we'll hit 900 by the end of it. Let's get into it. We're not doing the bit anymore. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:46:54 The bits over. Got it's done. You still want to talk about Stanman? Yes, but let's do, but let's do this one first. Okay, an animated adult drama set in the Game of Thrones universe is an early development at HBO Max, joining a previously announced House of the Dragon and Tales of Dunk and Egg series. No writers of talent have been attached yet, but Christian and Revina in the chat, do you think an animated series could work, or do you think this could be another throne's prequel that falls by the wayside?
Starting point is 00:47:22 I mean, well, that's two different questions, I think, because I think the first part of it is, could it fall by the wayside? Potentially. But I think it's actually a brilliant idea, especially if they do it for HBO. I think my favorite HBO animation that I had ever seen actually was the spawn animation that came out years ago.
Starting point is 00:47:41 And I would love to see, I'd love to see this. I think they can do some more stuff with that. I think it would be fun. So yeah, I'm all for it. I think it works. Yeah, I think when you have like a quote-unquote adult animation being very popular,
Starting point is 00:47:56 right now. I think this is a symptom of COVID really, because in all actuality, animation's cheaper to do now. The price hasn't changed. All live action stuff is actively more expensive to do. There's more roles on set. It's longer to film things. So animation's naturally cheaper. I think
Starting point is 00:48:12 this is a really smart thing to do. I'm expecting this is going to happen with a lot more studios. I'm really shocked. The only Star Wars animated one is like visions and bad batch. I bet we're going to get way more announced because it's just easier to make right now. Yeah, I think, well, Well, not for Star Wars is a little easier to make live action also because of the new,
Starting point is 00:48:31 because of the new technology that they have in that, in that studio. You know, that's, that's the only reason that they're able to pump out all these live action series because it's not, I mean, there are, obviously the rubber Rodriguez stuff was on location, but there, but for the most part, get more audience. I don't need to see an R-rated animated. I would like to see something that I could maybe watch with my kids. And I know that that seems counterintuitive with Game of Thrones, but I think you could tell stories in that world
Starting point is 00:48:56 that could straddle that and maybe I shouldn't be letting my five year old watch Clone Wars with me but he does and it doesn't seem to terrify him and there doesn't see it there's no swears in it but it's still like really complicated plots and it's violent yeah so I wouldn't mind
Starting point is 00:49:13 that with this too so I guess I'm kind of confused why they would go adult animation instead of getting a little bit more audience and have some original kid content too I know that's Again, I know it sounds like I'm pitching Game of Thrones is a kid show. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:49:29 What I'm saying is, is there a way to make it kid friendly and tell intriguing stories still? I don't think they're going to do that for Game of Thrones. No, I don't think so either. So that's why it does feel like a confusing choice. 50 Shades of Geek donated $20. Kaiser actually looks better today than he did us back. Loved talking to you guys on stereo. Can we get more people on stereo with you, Harloff?
Starting point is 00:49:53 Alex and Jamal, it was great talking to you too. Also, do you take regular stream labs or just shmibots today? Taking all of them. So anybody that, once again, if you're able to, I mean, we only have about an hour. So it would be great to hit, we're trying to hit a goal of 500 today. If we're able to do that, that would be incredible. If you were able to put in the Schmobots today, it does allow us to do, to have the crew in here, as we said. And if you aren't already listening to us on the Apple Podcasts or Spotify or any of that,
Starting point is 00:50:28 also that also helps. It allows us to get sponsors, whether it's stereo or native or anything, it allows us. And that's, and that was the other thing is that I'm very excited that we actually keep getting sponsors that I enjoy. Like native, like I said it on. I don't know if I said it on here on my stereo thing. I could eat those things. Oh, they're so good. They're incredible.
Starting point is 00:50:49 And now with stereo, stereo is like, I'm like, I'm having a really fun show here today talking with everybody, but I'm really looking forward to doing the show at 12 o'clock today with Brett. I've hit 900. Once he gets rid of three of us. Got it.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Yes. Once I get rid of you guys. But we're at 9. I'm at 902 followers. I think it's definitely maybe a little, maybe ambitious, but I would love to get at least 100 more people here. If I could hit 1,000 by the end of the week already,
Starting point is 00:51:16 that would be big. That would be huge. I would be spreading the word. I want the S-E-N crew. I want the S-E-N audience to take over that app. I want all of you guys who've ever wanted a podcast before. Like, if you ever wanted a podcast, you're like, oh, man, I wanted to do a podcast, but I just not sure.
Starting point is 00:51:31 This is so easy to do for you guys. This is the way to do it. So sign up today and go to Stereo.com slash Christian Harloff. Find Brett Sheridan, find Alex. When Kate signs up finally, find her, find Ryan, find Roxy. Jay Washington's on there. Winston's on there. Finstock signed up last night as, I think, as Bobby Gucci.
Starting point is 00:51:49 So that's, he's on there too. So, all right, let's, uh, let's get, I want to clarify one point I was making about the Game of Throne things. I think the thing that's, I'm, I'm not against adult animation for the record. What I'm saying is when you have a live action show coming out and an adult animation show, that's, it seems like it's the same audience, I guess is what I'm trying to figure out is why do both. Well, that's why I was challenging that, I think, where I think the final season of Quim Wars proved that there's such like an established fan base they're going to come, whereas Mandalorian, I
Starting point is 00:52:19 think touches a way bigger audience. So I think that's the same with Game of Thrones. There's such a cult following with this that you're going to get the die-hard fans no matter what you do, even if it's animation. And it's just because it's cheaper. Gotcha. Okay. Yeah. After Kate, who didn't read the article,
Starting point is 00:52:34 is this the same storyline as the live-action one? Or is this a... Yeah. It's a prequel, right? It's still in early development, and there's no official word on... It's a different one. It's different from the other two.
Starting point is 00:52:46 All right, so that clears that up for you, Kate. Thank you. All right, Alex, hit us with the next one. All right, next story we got is, sadly, Oscar winner, Cloris Leachman passed away yesterday at the age of 94. She started her on-screen career in 1955 and went on to star in classics like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, the last picture show in Young Frankenstein,
Starting point is 00:53:09 while lending her voice to many animated films throughout her many years. Leachman also had a prominent television career appearing in the Mary Tyler Moore show, Malcolm in the middle, The Office, and Moore. Christian, which of Chloris Leachman's rules stood out to you the most? I'm sorry, because
Starting point is 00:53:26 before you asked me that, you had said, did you say how she passed away? I will look that up right now. I think it was natural causes at 94. Yeah, 94. She doesn't say in the article, unfortunately. We can research it, though.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Brian, did you pull up a neighing horse sound effect? because then I can tell what my favorite role is. I'll find one right away. Okay. So yeah, I liked her on Malcolm in the middle. She was very funny. That was, wasn't she like the grandma that was drunk all the time and stuff?
Starting point is 00:54:06 She was. You know what? We're going to all say no, Jeremy Piven wasn't in that. No. He was. Oh, yes. She was definitely in Malcolm in the middle. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:15 I'm sure. No, because Alex said it too. Oh, okay. Okay, great. Yeah, it's funny because I obviously, I remember, I mean, she was, she was in a lot of things that I remember. She's one of those actresses that obviously, you know who Cloris Leachman is. There are so many, I have to go, as I'm going through her IMD, I'm looking at some of these. I know exactly what her favorite role is for me.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Facts like. Same as Brett. No, it's the same as Brett's. What? Fro. Probe. Yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Young Frankenstein. Yeah. Yeah. I would say I'm going to go. I'll go with that one as well. but it's always sad obviously when a legend because she had a pretty full life so I also
Starting point is 00:54:54 I was sorry no you go she had such a great one episode in the office I think she plays Pam's mom and like Michael spends the night with her and like explains how like it's not old in times anymore it's like I think on their wedding episode she had just like one bit roll and she still has like the chops like she was still Oh like Pam's grandma though
Starting point is 00:55:13 Not the mom yeah Sleeps with the mom She sleeps with the mom. It was the grandmother. Yeah. That I loved. So she still was killing it in the later years. I just,
Starting point is 00:55:23 I also find it hard, like, especially with the sort of tragedies we've dealt with in the past year. Like, when I hear somebody made it to 94, I feel like it's such a celebration of life as opposed to like, I mean, I'm sorry. She's, I'm sorry for her family. It's not losing anybody is never easy, even if they're 94. But I feel like this is less heavy news than like. Yeah. anything we had to we had to lose we lost and and someone points out in the chat uh larry king as well which we i don't believe we we have talked about maybe you guys did when i wasn't on but um larry king
Starting point is 00:55:55 obviously one of the greatest interviewers uh of all time and and had some of the biggest guests of all time and and was uh was beloved by by many so we we lost two legends two legends in in a very short time so um okay well trying to shift from the sand to the to more of the movie news and or TV news and what we were you we were talking about uh talking about game of thrones michael renting is donated $30 hey guys loved bear what's on the agenda for the brett and kate's play date tomorrow kate how far are you in clone wars and how are you liking it and ryan still can't be live you messed up all in the hips yes tet day yeah someone threw out a carweather's reference all in the hips and i was like oh yeah rocky three when no that's all that's on the toes
Starting point is 00:56:45 That's what I was mixing up with. Happy Gilmore. I'm an idiot. That's right. Tomorrow, because I'm obsessed with her and I need to know everything about her and why she improvised so well
Starting point is 00:56:56 when Zaflert and Flouse was on, we got Steph's a bra that's going to come on to Brent and Kay's plate it. Oh, that's great. So Bibbs posted out on Twitter just saying. He said, I started an account on stereo, and now people are following me on stereo, and I have no idea what to do on stereo. And I said, I'll follow him.
Starting point is 00:57:12 He goes, maybe I could call Christian Harloff. And I was like, oh, I'll do a show. and he said and lobby to add an ewalk movie slice in the star wars wheel and i then said i will never do a show with william bibioni so he just does this he just does this stuff sometimes where it's just like if you if you love a particular thing he'll tell you why you shouldn't love it and then if he and then the most the craziest thing in the world that no one likes he makes a stamp that he loves it and and i'm not saying that this isn't that it's not accurate that he doesn't he absolutely does he just he and i couldn't be on farther planets when it comes to taste in things.
Starting point is 00:57:47 But he, and I like those Ewok movies. I just, he's like, they need to be in. Like, first of all, they're not canon. They weren't they actually. Yes, they weren't. Six theaters in London. It's like, oh, come on. So, so like that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:57:59 But he does it, he does it because he knows it, it, it, I don't like it. All right. What's, what's next? I love, I love Clone Wars. I love Clone Wars. It's great. Sorry, just to answer. It's great.
Starting point is 00:58:10 And you watch, and where are you? You're still in season one? So we're, yeah, so, but also we're doing it in the order. So it was like, you had to watch Attack of the Clones first. Then you have to watch the, like, two episodes. Then you watch the movie. Then you go into season one. So we're like more than halfway through season one.
Starting point is 00:58:29 And I got to tell you, it's some of the, sometimes I'm like, wait, where? Like, it can be a little confusing about like, has this already happened? But now that I know that I am watching an order, like I know things. It's a very interesting show to me because it's not. not um what's the word it's it's not anthology but it's also not serial it's not like one thing does not immediately it's not like there's a cliffhanger from the show that then gets resolved at the beginning of the next show it's sort of like isolated story isolated story and it is chronological but i kind of love that that it's not like only a couple episodes so far i've been like and now
Starting point is 00:59:05 ventriss is like has has gone on to the ship and like the next episode ventriss is like Right. attacking Assook. I mean, it's, it's incredible. You're going to have to, I'm going to, you're actually, because there's one book you're going to have to read, though. Okay. That you will like because after you, it's after you get through the series.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Okay. I got to, you got to read Dark Disciple. Okay. Yeah. So, and you'll enjoy it. It's a great, it's by Christy Golden. It's a great novel. It was actually.
Starting point is 00:59:36 So before, after Lucas film was sold to Disney. they halted production on Clone Wars and they had just kind of they never really had a clear cut end to it this was before you know the seventh season had come out and they'd filmed some episodes and they released it as the sixth season but in between that there was a there was a script that George Lucas's daughter wrote and they had these plans and ideas of what they were going to do with this episode and they turned it into a novel that Christy Golden wrote so yeah
Starting point is 01:00:09 fantastic There's so many amazing, well, like, how did it take the animated? I'm not saying that Leah's not an amazing character, but like Ventris, Asoka, all of these amazing women. Like, I haven't gotten to Bocatan yet, but like, they're just, I don't know. It's just amazing to me. And also, now I understand why everybody is so into Boba, like, Jesus Christ, there's a billion Django Fetz running around. His dad's like a billion of his dad running around. Like, it's incredible to me.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Anyway, I just, I just. I'm amazed by it. It's great. Well, that's why if you watch, so now, Kate, you probably get that reference in season two when the Bill Burr episode. And he said, and Boba says, I can't go in there. They'll recognize me. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah, the finale season one is awesome. If you've seen Harrison Ford Air Force One, it's very akin to that. Really? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:10 It's all I love the show so much. I could talk about for hours. Oh, it's so good. Okay, let's go. Let's move on. Let's get to, let's talk about the Gwendolyn Christie thing. Marzanne, you just, he's taking a dump or he just turned out to. Quit.
Starting point is 01:01:23 That makes sense. I mean, I don't play, well, hey, what's going? I said nice things about you when you were going. Thank you. You're welcome. I'll make sure to watch the playback. Please, too. All right, what do you got?
Starting point is 01:01:35 Let's talk about the squandling Christy thing. Yes, let's do it. What do you think of the casting? And are you excited for the Sandman? show. I'm curious about it. I'm not going to pretend that I know enough about it. I just know that people, there was a lot of hype about it. I know that the late great John Schnep would talk about it often and about how cool it could be. So, and Gwenlyn Christie makes, she makes things better. I like her a lot. I think she's a great actress. I think she's a lot of fun. So there you go.
Starting point is 01:02:02 What do you guys think? Do you think this is a good, this is good? I was going to say I might answer in six months once I've watched the rest of Comores that I'm excited for Bad Batch. I'm not she's getting past though. She's someone I thought was going to pop off very quickly after like boom, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and now there's been like a five year period of like
Starting point is 01:02:22 she's popped up very briefly in things. So it's awesome to see she's going to be in this for the entire show. True. Is that did you see this by the way? I'm sorry Ryan but did you see that someone said that Wanda Vision's first season budget was $225 million?
Starting point is 01:02:38 Good Lord. How is I don't believe that though. Well, I mean, not from the first three episodes of what we've seen so far. Oh, yeah, that's a good point. Maybe the last half is sad. It has to be. It has to be. It has to be.
Starting point is 01:02:51 It has to be. It has to be. It has to be. It has to be because it is because I mean, right, right now. By the way, so I watched, so last night. Holy cow. My wife and I went back to the, like, to the thing that we had avoided for months. and that's scrolling through programming for hours to try to find one thing
Starting point is 01:03:12 because my daughter comes out and she's laying on the couch. She says, it's not for bed. She says, mom said, I can stay out here until she decides what movie she's going to watch. You're going to be out here until midnight. And so she's going to be out here until midnight. And I said, well, let's, I said, why don't we watch Wanda Vision? Give you a show, because we watched all this stuff. So we watched her, we put on the first episode.
Starting point is 01:03:29 So I'm going to give you guys, how long do you think she watched the episode? Or do you think she watched the full episode and wanted to watch the second one? Do you think she watched 15 minutes of it and said I'll watch the rest of it tomorrow? Do you think she bailed on it in the first 45 seconds? Or do you think she just said, no, I don't want to watch this. Never mind. We have to write our answer to write in five seconds. What do you say, Brian?
Starting point is 01:03:55 I think she watched the entire first two minutes. You think you say two minutes and that was it? Two minutes she was out. Okay. What do you say, Kate? I would say she gave it. I think she gave it seven. Seven minutes.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Yeah. Okay. Brett? Didn't want to watch it. Alex. I'm going to be optimistic and say the whole thing. I think we got through maybe 90 seconds. And then she wanted to turn it off.
Starting point is 01:04:28 She was done after 90 seconds. Maybe more. Maybe let's say you guys tell me if somebody wants to time it out. I can tell you exactly when it was. She got through the opening Maybe it was two minutes Maybe it was two minutes Because she got through the opening
Starting point is 01:04:42 When they're doing the little opening The music intro And he drops her on the front of the door And then it's the starring Vision and blah blah And then we got through this There's a scene where the opening scene She drops the plate
Starting point is 01:04:57 She fixes it And it's right when vision starts to look at the calendar And saying like hey is there something We're missing? That's when she bailed on it So that's probably I would say that's probably
Starting point is 01:05:05 around two minutes or so I really, by the way, I really liked her in Burke where she came in, you told her not to come in, and then she came in past you anyway. Oh, yeah, you saw that. Yeah, that was cool. I liked that part of the movie, Burke. Yeah, that was the best part. And she does this thing.
Starting point is 01:05:24 You have to see my desk right now because she does this thing. If it's like, if she doesn't want something in the house, it's in here. It is in here. I can tell you that right now. She'll just, and I lead, and you get conflicting things. It's leave the door open for air, but let me know when you're recording. And if you are recording, it doesn't matter because if I need to put books on the table, I'm going to put them on the table.
Starting point is 01:05:47 So that's what happens. You even told her like, it's not. I said, not a good time. And she went and she thought by moving quicker that she would become invisible. So it was pretty good. Really, I like that part of Burke. Yeah, so that was the best part. Are you going to do an animated version of Burke?
Starting point is 01:06:05 So Travis Gilbert, yeah, I am. Travis Gilbert just did a, so my wife lasted two minutes and 15 seconds into Wanda Vision before she was done. So two minutes and 15 seconds is how long. So that was it. That was it. I tried to tell her. I said, as Pleasantville meets lost, she was like, she don't watch your shit. I was like, okay, fine.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Okay, what's the, I just time marked it. The calendar is two minutes, 24 seconds. Two minutes of 24 seconds. Okay. Well, there you go. All right. Well, then that's, that's it. Wow.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Let's uh once again guys um unless you want us to go off the air we are trying to get donations here by uh streamlabs.com slash the shmodun if you're able to put a schmobot in please do so anything you want to talk about anything you want to ask us about go ahead and do that and let's get to uh it doesn't matter if there's any more stories Alex who gives a shit let's get to the streamabs.com slash the shmodown and please please just yeah let's do it so Joe okay says if a Tesla is stolen is it then called an Edison? Sure. absolutely. Okay. I love that. Yeah, that works. Well, it's a science joke. I love it. That's right. What, House Heisenberg says, what was the funniest pre- or post-interview moment of Shmode on season 7? Mine was after the Bonnie Marisol match when Bonnie kept rambling, and Ken was getting annoyed, and he finally said, this is going about as well as a funeral I just attended over Zoom. Wow. Oh, God. That's pretty good. Ken has some of those that are really good. That's my favorite thing that I've seen so far, poor Bonnie,
Starting point is 01:07:38 but my favorite thing that I've seen so far was I can't, and I don't remember the guy's name who did it, but he did this great breakdown of the draft and put all these players like where they're going to go and he did three parts and he said the weaknesses and the strengths. And he got to Bonnie and he said weaknesses. Her gameplay is abysmal. Oh, that's a weakness.
Starting point is 01:08:02 I said that's a pretty big weakness in a game show. But he said her gameplay is abysmal. She still, he said, she's been playing since season one and she still does not know the rules. And I said, fact. It drives me nuts. It drives me nuts. I told her, I was going into it. I was like, you just got to know the rules going into it.
Starting point is 01:08:22 And you're going to do good because she's got a much better knowledge of movies than people understand. And she just doesn't pay attention to the rules. So, I. Reminder, Kevin Smith. This is the round where you write your answers. down. Yeah, but he's only, but he's two and all of these. I know I'm too much.
Starting point is 01:08:41 And he's only even, and he's only been playing for four months. She's been playing for six years. He still beat that little bit. That's right. That's right. Okay. I'm trying to look, by the way,
Starting point is 01:08:52 I'm at, I'm over, I'm over 900. Before we get into some more of these in stereo, one more thing to, apparently right now already. You guys, thank you so much.

Starting point is 01:10:41 Recaps plus our topic of the day, the super supernatural in wrestling. Check it out. Stereo.com slash daguenessb. Thanks. Brad, I think I already did schedule our show. You did.

Let's get that show. Let's get everybody to jump from here over to there right afterwards too let's see if we can get everybody who's in here

Starting point is 01:11:25 oh that was just off the it was it was a random thing that just kind of popped up I got to find it though it was really stupid I'll be right back I just want to make sure Dickie just got his COVID results and so did I. Oh, okay. I'll come back to tell you what they are. Please, please, please. Well, if she comes back crying, we know the answer.
Starting point is 01:11:42 Yeah. All right. All right. We're going to find out live on air. We're going to find out live on air right now. You're getting two watch alongs, folks. This is dramatic. What's more dramatic?
Starting point is 01:11:51 This is Burke? I don't know. I'm not sure. Well, she should have at least taken the camera in. We should just say, if she's going to tell us the results, she should have shown us. Are you able to mute her? What's that?
Starting point is 01:12:02 Is you able to mute her? Oh, yeah, yeah, we can mute her. Sorry. Well, her husband asked that question a lot, too. Oh, I'm just kidding. All right. All right. Let's get you a nice question.
Starting point is 01:12:11 Okay, from our favorite person, Pussy O'Connell. Hey, Christian. If you have the power to go back in time and change the prequels, what would you pick? Lucas getting Spielberg direct episode two and three, or Lucas hiring other good screenwriters to write a screenplay for his treatment slash stories. Option B. Option B. Really? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Spielberg is a great director, but it's the Star Wars stuff now. Indiana Jones 4 proved that that combination didn't work. If you go different screenwriters does work and it has worked. Lucas is one of the best storytellers all time, but not a great dialogue writer and there's certain things. You know, whether he uses the, I don't want to say excuse, but the reasoning of, well, I wanted to do old serial stuff and I have that kind of cheesy dialogue.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yeah, but that doesn't really pop to everybody, you know, so the, I think you could have had, I would absolutely choose the screenwriter. Okay, next. Thank you, pussy. This isn't James Bond, man. Like, can't just... Can you please, please,
Starting point is 01:13:21 uh, sound clip that out, Ryan? You got it. Please, please, absolutely. Anytime someone says something nice, thank you, pussy. Um, glad Kate was here for that. Thank you, pussy. All right, MVP for Kevin Durant.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Hey, crew, I've heard rumors that the first trailer for season, of the movie trivia Shmodown will air during the Super Bowl. Could this be true? Um, I hope so, but no. It would be great. Thank you, Pussy. I'm gonna try and get it right now. People are hashtagging thank you pussy right now. Please stop watching the show, mom, please. It's so subtle. I love that. It's so good.
Starting point is 01:14:19 Oh, God. Okay, here we go. Um, next one from Justin Square. Happy Almost Friday, S.E.N. crew. Okay, take three. Maybe this is a sign. Maybe the stream labs I sent last Thursday. We were never meant to see the light of day.
Starting point is 01:14:32 But here I am taking my shot again, hoping that you all get to hear the terrible poetry that I sent in. I'm so sorry, Justin Square. I actually have that pulled up right now. So do you want me to do that right now, Christian? Go ahead. All right. Uh, well, I feel like embarrassing my... This is from last Thursday.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Thank you, Justin Square. Well, I feel like embarrassing myself. So here's a poem that I wrote to some girl during my poetry phase in my year. in my first year of college. Alex have fun with it, and I'm sorry in advance. It's titled, sexy Cubana. Sexy Cubana, muilante. I look at you.
Starting point is 01:15:02 I look at you, and I'm filled with an indescribable sensation. A fire. A sizzling fire. A burning red passion. Heeded desire. Since the moment I laid eyes on you, I thought you were just a stunning sight. A sexy Cubana with an amazing smile. Sexy Cubana.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Alex, Alex, it wrote a poem about you, Kate. But real quick, not to cut out. Kate, Kate, what is the, Kate, what's the... We're both negative. We can get on the plane. Oh, thank you, thank you, pussy. What did I miss? Play it again, Ryan.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Thank you, pussy. What you missed was one of the best moments, maybe in the FN history. So I think Pussy O'Connell at a question, and then he did this whole thing, and Alex, as he's about to move on, goes, well, thank you, pussy. Now, moving on. Thank you, pussy. Thank you, pussy. All right, well, it's next.
Starting point is 01:15:58 You want me to keep going with this? Oh, it goes on. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, moi caliente. When I see you, my heart becomes heavy, full of thoughts and feelings of you. How you can easily make me smile. How special and how beautiful you truly are. I see you gliding on the dance floor, covered in red, dancing the salsa. I try to keep up, but I can't. I start to sweat. You dance around me in circles. I feel a drop. A scorching drop slowly runs down the back of my neck. I hear the drop and then finally connects to the ground.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Michael Retting this donated $20. Everyone hit the like button. What's your favorite Clone Wars arc? And most underrated, mine is mortis for both. Oh, God. If that isn't the epitome of what this show is about, in the middle of trying to talk about serious, serious something or someone to expel me and the guts out,
Starting point is 01:16:44 what do you think about the Clone Wars? That's right. They've been trying to get this in for four days now. This was been missed. This was missed. Poor Justin Square. Well, I don't care. I want to talk about Camino.
Starting point is 01:17:02 You want Cubant dancing? I want lightsabers. By the way, there's no way Camino makes it through the series, not getting completely blown up. Don't worry about it. I'll figure it out. I don't want to talk about dancing or COVID tests. I want to talk about Twylex. And, you know,
Starting point is 01:17:26 Spice trading But no No, you know, no biology Serious biology Oh, you are serious to me, of course I'm talking I'm talking starships You know
Starting point is 01:17:43 And uh And walkies But you don't You don't bring up You don't bring up hospitals And you know dance There's none of here Shut up James
Starting point is 01:17:54 Nice to try Christine, introducing yourself as Raoul. We all know that we don't donate when you're hosting. What's the new Hot Shmodeon gossip? Who's going to who? What new teams are we going to see? And how do you all keep getting me on to new apps? Thank you, pussy.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Thank you, pussy. Thank you so much. Thank you, poopsie. Thank you, poopsie. This is my, this might be my second favorite comment of the day. But G-Quaz says 22 angry Game of Thrones fans tuned into today's show because we have 22 dislikes. Thank you, pussy. We did tag it a lot.
Starting point is 01:18:36 Yeah, that's so good. Oh, that's really good. Yeah, you know, whatever. It doesn't matter. That's what we're going to talk about on stereo today. It was just going to be all the Game of Thrones. We'll be talking about how we avoided it all day. So, all right, let's go to what's next?
Starting point is 01:18:52 Did you want to answer James' question about the, new hot shmodeon gossip who's going to be working. Oh, yes, yes, yes, thank you. Yeah. Look, man, this is the thing we've been talking about a lot with a lot of people. There is, it's, it's exciting for the managers. It's stressful for the managers. It is, there's a lot to it.
Starting point is 01:19:10 And there's, I mean, I can tell you last night, people who, who are sleeping on Dagnino are pretty dumb because they think he's not paying attention. He is. He's, he's paying attention. And I think they're going to have, I think, the exchange is going to have a good draft. I think, uh, I think, uh, Kate's going to have a good draft. I am very curious. I am very, very curious of Sam and what Sam's going to do at that number two pick. That's going to shift. That's, it really, it really matters to me
Starting point is 01:19:41 what he does. It matters to all of you. $20. So how long before we can all get a thank you PooCi t-shirt? I, I, I probably will have to call it, thank you PooCity, as opposed to actually I don't know if that one's going to fly with Skybound. But, but, um, but um, but, Sam, Sam is, Sam's the magical pick it too. Because if Sam picks, um, in my opinion, he's either going to go with a team player. Wow. He's going to go to that. Why do you do that, Christian?
Starting point is 01:20:17 Did you wash your hands? That's the first time I've heard that. It's not, no, it sounded like that noise. It sounds like when you go, hey, that's what you say. Bless you. Your sneeze just sounded like that. Yeah, no. But anyway, yeah, Sam is he either going to play a team player?
Starting point is 01:20:33 He's going to pick a team player for, it's either going to be Drew and Ethan are going to be a team, and then Liz needs a partner, or then Liz and Ethan is a team, and Drew needs a partner or vice versa. So if he waits too long, then he's going to have, you know, he might lose a partner for that person.
Starting point is 01:20:50 But if he doesn't pick an IG, a Star Wars player, he's going to lose one of the pros that have. So he's in a tricky spot. He's in a tricky spot. Okay. What's next? All right. We're going to the next one.
Starting point is 01:21:05 And it's from 50 Shades of Geek. He's got a long message here. So let me get through this. Sent this earlier this week but didn't get answered. Christian, I have a great suggestion for you to say no to. Hear me out first. A one-time four-way exhibition match with just Pokemon questions. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:21 Featuring the Pokemon YouTubers in the world. They all do Pokemon trivia with each other all the time, and they're incredibly competitive with each of them have hundreds of thousands of followers, so it could bring a lot of attention to the Shmodown. And since they're also huge movie fans, maybe they'll decide to join the league next season. I've already reached out to one of them,
Starting point is 01:21:38 and he said he'll love to do it. I also volunteer to write some of the questions. I promise to make them challenging. There, I set my piece. Now you can say no. No. All right, moving on. Phidichades of Geek says, When Groku is old enough to speak,
Starting point is 01:21:49 will he say his second word first? Also, thanks to Christian, we all know what that word will be. That's right. Thank you, pussy. Right, that's nice. Byer. What happened to Justin Square sweat when it hit the ground in the dance one?
Starting point is 01:22:02 Oh, yeah, yeah. He says, okay, so I hear the drop one and finally connects to the ground. All I can do is stare and observe your grace as you, as your feet never touched the ground. Sexy Cubana, Moe Caliente. I hope that went over well since I can't watch live. Again, sorry, Alex. Looking forward to the free agency special last week and the draft tomorrow. And I hope that went over well in real life.
Starting point is 01:22:25 No shit. That's true. All right, what's next? All right. Fire Howie Roseman says, every time I see a Jen Pisaki press conference, I think it is Kate. The Eagles new head coach,
Starting point is 01:22:37 and they're talking about the manager being fired, which, yeah, that's what I want to. We'll see how he does. It's a guy he's never coached before coaching the team. What the hell are you talking about? She just said Jen Pisaki looks like Kate Mulligan. What are you talking about, Ryan? He said Fire Howie Roseman in the team.
Starting point is 01:22:53 title that's why oh oh okay i was so confused i understand i was this is who i look like this is what he says you look like jenn pesaki a new eagle said coach i i think that jenn no she's from the she's the press she's the new white house press secretary yeah yeah i i i thought i's not a nixir guy my bad my bad yeah it's all right i think that you could be related but i don't think you guys look like each other that makes sense we yeah that does make sense She looks like it, she looks like an Irish cracker also. Aisha Kenya says she's on stereo, does know what to do.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Just go, start following us. So if you go, so for example, if you go to Christian Harloff and start following over there, when Brett and I go live at 12 o'clock, you'll be alerted to it. And you can also see on my profile that the show is supposed to is scheduled for 12 o'clock, so you'll be all signed up. What the one part of the app that you have to get used to is when you sign up to it, just mute it right away because they start playing like show. that are on.
Starting point is 01:23:55 But like if you look, by the way, like I'm looking at this 48 people on this one stream, 16 people on this one, 33, 8. Like we're going to have at least, when Brett and I are on there, we're going to have at least 100 people, if not more. I want to break, the most we've ever had is 125. That's a big, that's a big number now for Serio's. It's kind of growing. But I want to get more and more.
Starting point is 01:24:14 I'd love to get the 752 that are watching right now over there at 12 o'clock to watch. And all you got to do is sign up to stereo.com slash Christian. Harloff. Okay, what's next? Yeah, me and Ryan topped 30 last night. Nice. That's a big, but that's a bad. That's it. That is actually, but the thing is as this is starting out, this app is starting out and people are starting to catch onto it. That is a good number. That's a good number as you as you start. People are still saying right now, what the hell is stereo? Like the word is getting out there and we're going to be before everybody else. People are going to start getting on this thing and using it and everyone's going to, you know, everyone will know. So
Starting point is 01:24:48 here we go. What's next? Okay, moving on to stupid chats. Nerdy bridge guy asked, earlier. Christian, let's get your fan cast movie with actors and artists that were born the same year
Starting point is 01:24:59 as you. Actors and artists. Yeah, you had to look it up yesterday. Yeah. So look that up while we share
Starting point is 01:25:05 hours from yesterday. Mine was a music, the Bring It On musical with Olivia Cook, Pete Davidson, Ariana Grande.
Starting point is 01:25:15 I know they're exes, but they don't have to the same time. I was thought I was still Leonardo DiCaprio and I were
Starting point is 01:25:20 the same age. He's older than I am. Oh, wow. Yes, he is. He's my age. Kate Winslet, maybe. Oh, Kate Winslet, Kate Winslet is four days younger than me. Oh.
Starting point is 01:25:33 So. Look at that. What you're looking that up. Kate, did you take offense to people saying you look like or got a gin? No, I've looked at her since. She's actually, she's lovely. Okay. Well, no, because Lonnie said she gave Kate vibe.
Starting point is 01:25:49 Not that, like, you look, but like even the way she talks and stuff. Yeah, I'll take it. Are you kidding me? I'll take it. All right. So here's, but now I'm like, no, she didn't say that when you went to. So what am I supposed to do here? I'm supposed to do it. Ask your movie and if you have a plot or anything. So I can make it my own movie. Yeah, who's the artist? Who's the musician that would do the theme song for it? And I got to put, they got to be born in the same year too. That can be, that's fine.
Starting point is 01:26:17 Same year as you. Shoot. Well, Pedro Pascal would apparently be in my movie. Let's see. Linda Carter, would be in my movie. Tycho Watiti would direct it. Oh. Charlie Sterron would be in my movie, as well Kate Winslet. Angelina Jolie.
Starting point is 01:26:32 Man, I got a powerhouse. I got a powerhouse cast, to tell you that. Paula Patton? Really? Wow. I'll tell you what. I interviewed Paula Patton, and she looked significantly younger than I did. I'll tell you that much.
Starting point is 01:26:44 She is, wow, she is my age. She does not look. She is one of the... Eye opening. You have no idea. She's so attractive. What is that? The rural Tannenbaum's,
Starting point is 01:26:58 one of my favorite lines of all time, when they're at the funeral, and he goes, your mother was a terribly attractive woman. Yes, yes. So I don't know what the movie's about. They'll steal a jewel out of a hotel. There you go.
Starting point is 01:27:14 Lockdown, yeah. I thought you had the diamond. No, I thought you had the diamond. Angelina Jolie had it the whole time. All right. Isn't that the, isn't that snatch? Is that snitch? Snage.
Starting point is 01:27:27 But I thought you had to dime. No, I'm for you at a dime. That's my impression. That's my review. A little snachy. Little snachy LaRooke, sweet life. Thank you, Snatch. Thank you, Snatch.
Starting point is 01:27:36 Thank you, Snatch. All right. All right. Jamon, John says, do you want to see one final diehard with McLean reuniting with Zeus, Al and Holly in his retirement? Gruber needs to somehow be involved. Well, wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:27:50 Hold on. I got a pink sweet says something. And Kate's been giving me this. Kate's, Pink Sweet says, well, Christian's definitely got a type. Yes, speaking of a snatch. Pink Sweet says Christian's got a type. Nothing wrong with it. But yeah, Kate has been saying that, and we talked about that.
Starting point is 01:28:06 But does Paula Patton fall in there? I got to, I got a look. I got a look. Because it's so funny, my, my, my mother had sent me this picture. I just saw what though. Yeah. And Kate was like, it says, does that, does that picture that I sent you? Does that fall into my type?
Starting point is 01:28:22 100% Paula Patton Paula Patton actually Outside the realm a little bit A little outside But the correct hair color There you go Thank you Ryan Thank you what's next
Starting point is 01:28:40 Did you want to do you want to final die hard Oh The Clayne reuniting with everybody The way that I always wanted to see it was based off band Trabble Cucks his script that he did Trouble Cook did a a script years ago
Starting point is 01:28:56 and it I don't understand why they don't make this movie it's the anniversary of the Nakatomi everything that happened back but it happens in Japan so the headquarters of Nakatomi and there's a takeover of Nakatomi headquarters in Japan and and McLean is there because they're celebrating
Starting point is 01:29:16 what he did and and he's got to do it one last time. The problem is that Bruce Willis has been in the last few diehard movies and John McLean hasn't. Um, it's Bruce Willis is just a yeah, you know, give me my check. I'll do what I have to do. Like that you watch that last movie. He's not, he's not, he's not John McLean. That first, the first three movies he was and I got to rewatch the fourth one, but the first three, he's, he's, he's McLean. The, this, this last couple is he's just been tuned out. I don't think he's got that drive anymore. I think success and money is. kind of I mean, you know, you see these little privileged if you, if you see him walking around in that convenience store with the mask down and he's a guy had a bandana on his face and he still refused to do it.
Starting point is 01:30:00 From everything you hear about the guy, he's just, I don't know, anyway. Hashtag not my job, McLean him around. That's right. So I don't know. I mean, I, if it was done right, then yes, I'd be interested for it. But I, and at this point, you can't make it any worse because that last movie was terrible. Just terrible. Is Megan Markle right in your sweet spot, Christian?
Starting point is 01:30:23 Megan, you know what's tough about that? Is that she was my friend's ex-wife, so I never looked at her that way. You know what? Never mind. Shipsy Jandahusi donated $20. Just showing support today since I got my stimulus check the other day. I am excited about the draft tomorrow. Thank you for all you do.
Starting point is 01:30:42 Much love. Thank you so much. I woke up this morning to a dream about the draft, Christian. Did you really? Oh, it's all of us are just like, I know. I'm so ready to be over. So, Brad, I'm going to give you an impression of Sam Levine, but he reminded me of someone else with his, with his impression,
Starting point is 01:31:02 with his comments, and it's someone that you and I know. And I want to see if you can guess who it is, okay? So I said to you, I said to Sam was talking to him, and you're like, Christian, I just want this to be over. It is consuming me. I need it to be done. Who is he? remind you of with that it's it's so is it somebody on the crew uh it's it's it's a friend of ours he's been on
Starting point is 01:31:25 this show before but uh you'll know it immediately when i say taco Andrew free oh oh yes yes and he's been he's been on he's been on this show and he's like and and they happen to play they happen to play poker together and then i spoke to andrew the other day and he's like sam told me we had a conversation and he said that you had mentioned he reminded you of me when he simply said I'm done with us absolutely
Starting point is 01:31:56 that's it that's it it's just consuming they want to and you know same thing Shannon they love it you know they want to put together their team but it's it's stressful you know because you have the idea of what you want
Starting point is 01:32:07 by the way did you guys see and I tweeted this out last night and I'm gonna and I butchered her name when I mentioned her on Twitter and I don't want to do it again certain point of view had on Lacey from Star Wars Newsnet. And I say, I think it's
Starting point is 01:32:22 Giller, Gilleron? Gillarine? Because I said Gelerin last time and that was wrong. But I am a massive fan of this woman. Her attitude is right. She understands, she wrote, I don't know if she wrote, but she worked for
Starting point is 01:32:38 the WWE for like a year. She gets it. And I didn't know a lot about her just that she came highly recommended from Star Wars Newsnet. And I started, had listened into her interview last night, and she, someone needs to pick her up. I don't know, I don't know who's going to do it,
Starting point is 01:32:55 but someone needs to pick her up. She has, she's competitive. She has the attitude. She's got, she has the understanding of the game. She knows, she, she's got a really good knowledge of Star Wars in general. So I hope someone picks her up. I really do. Okay, what's next?
Starting point is 01:33:10 All right, Gailen Shumway says, Christian, did you see Carlos Mencia on Tiger Valley with Bobby Lee, talking about the Comedy Store incident and other things that happened? very interesting. I'll probably listen to it. I don't know if I'm going to believe it. But that's that's not to say that, you know, he maybe, maybe he apologizes for, for it. I was there the night before talking about Kate, actually funny, with an ex who was not my type, as you will say. But the night before, the night before I was there. And then I was going to go. I had a spot the next night. And I didn't go. I think I switched spots. I think I had a spot one night and I asked to the Booker if I had.
Starting point is 01:33:47 I didn't go and then all that shit went down. I had just heard so much. I have to listen to it and see what happened on Bobby's thing and see how it all, what he says. But yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I would love your story about that.
Starting point is 01:34:03 I love your thoughts on it. I would love to. I mean, you know, somebody can actually send me, send me the link. And I'll listen to some of it because I want to see it be defensive. That's the thing that I want to see.
Starting point is 01:34:15 I don't think that would go over well. Well, did you hear you, you, you listened to it. Tiger Valley's my, it's probably my favorite podcast. Oh, wait, so you heard it. Oh, yeah, I heard the whole thing. So what happened? So what did he say? Did he was, was he defending it?
Starting point is 01:34:27 I mean, it's a lot of, uh, I'm going to give you a ton of context about how like this world is. And then how I, and yes, I did some of this, but like everyone does this, but also no. Like he kind of compares it to how, you know, like SMU got the death penalty because they were paying their players. He kind of compares it to something like that. We're like, just say, dude, just. just say I fucked up I was stealing jokes I learned my lesson I got called out on my shit and you know and I shouldn't I shouldn't have done it shouldn't have done it and I fucked up and I'm and I'm trying to move past it at this point and I'm and I'm doing my thing you know and and at that point you
Starting point is 01:35:05 probably have still people would be cautious around you especially comedians are cautious in general but at least they'd respect like I would respect it a lot more if he came out he's like yeah fucked up like you see the video tape I can't defend that Like you put Ari's joke next to my joke and I clearly took it and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done it. I mean, I ripped off Cosby, by the way, too, and I shouldn't have done that. But here's my thoughts on it. The reason why I did it at the time, I maybe didn't realize at the point I was putting
Starting point is 01:35:34 together a joke and then once I should have stopped doing it. Even that was a defense because sometimes you put together a bit that maybe you've been around comedy for so long and you kept hearing something and you think that you came up with it and someone says to you immediately you can't do that. That's so-and-so's joke. And how long have they been doing it? There's a rule. How long have they been doing that joke?
Starting point is 01:35:51 He did someone, the most, I don't want to take too much on this, but the most uncomfortable thing on that specific podcast is he kind of compares it to, like, to rape in that. If he confesses to it, that's what he compared it to. And I was like such a ridiculous comparison. So that's his like reasoning for not admitting it, because that's to him equivalent to that, which is crazy. But you did it.
Starting point is 01:36:14 Right. But you did it. Like guess, guess what? if you did any crime and someone has that's not a crime that necessarily it's a comedian crime but you know but if you did but if you did something and you were caught on video you say I did it right I did it and it's like look like I don't respect that you did it but I would respect if you owned up to it like I don't respect that at all like I was all those people that were all my friends people that he ripped off were my friends like and I saw and I saw it happen so no I don't like that that is stupid. I also, I mean, there is, I do think there's something such as there is, there's truth to group mind, right? Like, that if an event happens, then a bunch of people might write the same joke. That's not what happened here. No.
Starting point is 01:37:00 Like there have been so many times that Dickies, like, come up with a script idea and we'll be like, let's look up that title. Let's see what, and then it's like, in production, and we're like, oh. That happened. But that's not what this is. No. So one night at the at the comedy store in the OR, a comedian who's right now very famous. I went up to this comedian afterwards because I just heard them do one of my jokes. Okay.
Starting point is 01:37:22 And it, but it was a joke that the premise could be taken from, you could figure out the premise, right? But the wording was similar. So I went up to this comedian and I said to him, hey, just let you know, I've been doing this one for a bit because myself and this comedian were friendly. And, and I said, I've been doing this for quite a while. A comedian never did it ever again. Or at least I never heard it in their set, looked at some of their specials, never saw it. respected it, walked away from it, didn't do it. Had a lot of respect for that comedian afterwards,
Starting point is 01:37:53 who probably didn't even realize it. Maybe was walking around and said and heard it or came up with the same bit. But respected the fact that I've been doing the joke for about two years. So said, not going to do it and walked away. That's what you do. Because who wants to also who, even if it's a joke that you came up with, I remember people saying to me like, that joke you do about rappers is very similar to Nick Swordsons.
Starting point is 01:38:15 And I was like, what? Yeah, right. I had never heard Nick Schwartz, and my whole thing was that, like, my parents never know what song is playing, and I said that's not going to be a problem with rap, because they always tell you who it is within the first. All you have to do is, da-da-da-da-da-da, it's the mother fucking D-O-D-O-D. Hello from your deaf friend from Scotland. I understand it's difficult to remember all the time, but Christy, and I think you very much for trying to remember not to block the view of your mouth with the microphone. I can't use it, but good luck with stereo app.
Starting point is 01:38:45 Thank you. Anyway, and then I remember hearing that like Nick Swordson, then he had like he had a joke about like that we were going to when we were old when we were old We were going to be like oh we'd got to put on some and it was a very similar thing and it had nothing to so I ended up not doing that joke anymore Right I do I didn't want people to think I stole from next words You know what's funny though is funny about that is I saw Nick Swartz and do that joke in 2000 in at this place called the martini lounge Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Do you remember the martini last break? Yeah. Yeah, so it was on mailroads right near Paramount. And that's the first. So I did steal it. I'm sorry. You definitely didn't steal it. There's no way you didn't steal.
Starting point is 01:39:28 He's just, yeah, man. He's just, he's just out of his mind. That's just, come on. What do you, what do you? You stole jokes. He stole the hole so deep. It's not like Amy Schumer where she kind of like, boom, and now it's like recover, but yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:44 Yeah, he's still, he's still jokes. If you want to get forgiven, just compare whatever you did to rape. It's the best policy. Just use that, Alex, if you want to get out of all this canceling, the case to do with you. But you know what, though, so I don't feel bad for this guy, though, because he used to walk around the comedy store like king shit. And like, that's the thing is that you can, like, when you, people don't understand in this business, it goes away like that. It goes away like that. as like you know and and and i don't mean like your career in general but the the once you get to that
Starting point is 01:40:19 point it is hard to stay there and that's anybody right um even even people like eddie murphy and uh and people like that they they shifted into movies and they got away from it right look at dink cook was on the top of the world and then he he's he's still doing very well with comedy but he's not in that spotlight the way he was during like that that big wave right and he's someone by the way that i've changed my opinion on 100%. Like I've changed my opinion on Dane Cook from where I used to feel very similar about Dane Cook, the way that I did about Carlos Mincea. But Dane, even when I interviewed him, he changed his philosophy on how he looked at himself, the way he looked at people, the way he admitted things, the way he talked about things. And I respect that. I respect that when somebody comes down
Starting point is 01:41:01 and goes, yeah, I didn't like the way I carried myself. I didn't like the way that when, how fame got to me and I, and I pivoted and I went right. Like, we're human beings. So you're all right to be you can't you could be and should be forgiven but when you don't nah nah i didn't do it there's tape of you doing it like you compare it on a side by side you did it and it's so that it it pisses me off it pisses me off because he was because he was he was he was a douche he was a douche and it seems like he hasn't learned so um anyway all right what's uh what's next all right michael rat dinga says i apologize for interrupting the beautiful poem i'm five minutes behind because my internet sucks but thank you
Starting point is 01:41:40 Michael. Thank you, Pusty. Michael Raddingez also says, Christian. Why won't anybody donate when I host Shmobot? Hey guys, would love to know, et cetera. Christian, I'm so sorry, Lex. Why would you say that year, et cetera? J.K., can I get Deep State Elmo explaining why Brett didn't win player of the year? If not cool, thank you, pussy.
Starting point is 01:42:00 Of course, that was not a Shmobot, but thank you, Michael Rattingis. That's right. That's right. Yeah, people, it's true. I think I have to stop hosting the show because when I, like, When I, I look at, like, yesterday, when I, when I, when I host the show, it seems like everybody's jobs are in risk. When I, when I'm not, when I'm not hosting the show, it's like, it's like, okay, it's a good day to day. So, we would, I'd love to be able to get to, I mean, this is one of the lowest shows of all times.
Starting point is 01:42:23 So I'm, I'm going to, I'm going to jump off the show probably for the next two months. If you're able to, streamlabs.com slash the shmode. Go ahead. That's, that's what people say. It's what some, some guys said the other day. It was like, because I went, I went to make sure we could just go back. forth in bullshit today and not push for the Schmobot or try to do anything too because like oh when you when the Schmohen interrupts it just ruins the show you can still do as much you know and do fine with
Starting point is 01:42:51 the superchats and Sheen Labs without the Schmobit. No you can't and this is proof here today so just to let you know we would have listened to you the show would be off the air. Thank you. All right. What's uh what's next? D train says congrats Kate on your negative results. Yes. I finally saw the first Rocky movie in full. Here's a couple of thoughts of mine. Do I think it's a great movie? Yes. Do I think it's a classic? Yes. Do I think it deserved to win best picture over a taxi driver that year? No. You're right. Two of those three things you were right about. You lost me on the last. Yeah. All right. What's the next? All right. Michael Reddingis says which Star Wars player will be
Starting point is 01:43:30 drafted first? Demalanta or Kelly? Mark Kelly? R Kelly. Kelly? I don't think he should. I don't think he should. I don't think he should. I don't think Wait, what was the question? Twitch, Twitch Star Wars. Drafted first. Laura Kelly or Laura Kelly.
Starting point is 01:43:48 All right. So if Kate does not have to answer this, this is, this is the mock draft of what I think could happen. I think first pick is Kaiser. Kaiser could either go Dimalanta or Laura Kelly or Mara Knappik for those three. One of those three I think will go to Kaiser. If then Sam goes, Sam's either going to take Alonzo Doralde, Riley, or Laura Kelly, maybe Molly Damon. Kate will take either Laura Kelly, Molly Damon, or DeMalanta, whoever's involved. Then after that would be Koi.
Starting point is 01:44:25 Coy will probably take either Laura Kelly, Demalanta, Molly. Then Gucci, if one of those are available, probably goes there or maybe does some kind of shocking thing. I have no idea. Don't know what Roxy's going to do. I really don't know what Roxy's going to do where she's going to go. She might have to go after an IG player, maybe Brandon Hanna. And then who's after, and then Winston. Winston, you'd have to assume is going after Andres Cabrera.
Starting point is 01:44:52 You'd have to assume that. And then that goes back to Kate, who has got two more picks and I have no idea what the hell she's done. I mean, also other people could take Ace before it got to. That's true. I just, I mean, if I'm ace, I'm pretty pissed off because everyone has him lower. and I think that they're just only basing it off of the Damon match and not the tournament that he won. So I could see him getting upset for sure. All right, what's a...
Starting point is 01:45:13 What's next? Just letting you know Art Kelly is not in the draft. Oh, shit. No, no, no, no, Rakelly in the draft. Michael Reddingis also asks, I'm also super interested to see Brother Loomis play to see if his skills will match his character work. Have you got any idea of his trivia skills? Will that hurt his drafting?
Starting point is 01:45:31 It may or may not because just because, so he hasn't been on the after-shunders. shows, but that doesn't mean that managers haven't been in contact with him. Like I was, I wanted to make it like, and, and he's, he hasn't been in the after shows. Him and Rick Ra, even Rick Radis turned down his, um, his appearances a little bit more towards the end because I think those characters got out there quick. And I, I don't really, I didn't want to see Brother Lomas on different after shows, speaking out the gospel and, and before we had a chance to debut him. So I, I don't think that's going to hurt him.
Starting point is 01:46:00 I think that because the managers have, have had an opportunity to speak with all these players. They had the contact information. So I know there are a bunch of managers who have been testing these rookies and doing little combines with them. So I think that, I think that Lomas, I hope Lomas is great. I hope Lomas is one of the next champions. I, I get excited. Every time he submits a promo to the Facebook group, I get excited. So he's, there's so many, there's just imagine. Alice, give me, give me a faction. Give me any faction. The dead. imagine Kate having to do
Starting point is 01:46:36 a confessional with Brother Lomas you know what I mean? Like there's there's there's so much and something else there's other things that we can do for sure and it's just you can see it
Starting point is 01:46:53 and I've already I'm already writing I've already written I'm hoping that someone picks up Rick Radis also because I've already written three models for him I'm super We're excited. So anyway, all right, what's, we got, we got to, we got to get to this stereo show between me and Brett.
Starting point is 01:47:11 Like Greg Dinkas also asks, when will Ace go? And which Dragon Khan player goes first? What's that? What Dragon Con player will go first and Ace? When will Ace go? I think Ace will go earlier than my again. I'm just saying that. And I think maybe Marie Wilson.
Starting point is 01:47:26 Yeah. I think, yeah, Marie Wilson is one for sure. What's the, the other side of the other side? Thomas Harper, Murray Wilson, and then Zach are those three are ones. And I think that Marie, Marie is actually the last active player to beat to win DragonCon. Thomas Harper hasn't won it in like two or three years. And maybe even before Alex started his channel. So, yeah, I think DragonCon players are going to get, are going to get snatched up, I think.
Starting point is 01:47:53 But the Star Wars Newsnet players, they should not be ignored. John Howie, Lacey. Yeah, James. All of them. They're really good. They're really good. It's just a matter of will they be available. All right, what's next? All right, Popcorn asks. Alex, I can't believe you're just starting the before series.
Starting point is 01:48:12 So, so good. Are you and Jamal doing Sundance? What movies do you have today? Also, Christian, you don't have the link for Streamlabs in the description. Maybe not, may not be the reason, but heads up. I do have it in there. Sorry. No, it's not in there. Yes, I am just starting the before series.
Starting point is 01:48:27 I watched the first one on Tuesday, sunset last night, and I'm going to finish with midnight tonight, and I am freaking loving it. My stereo is in there twice. That's what it is. I am also doing Sundance. I will be doing it next. I will be doing the only awards movies next Thursday, I believe.
Starting point is 01:48:49 Well, let's hope. So if we're able to get one more Schmobot before the show is over, that would at least make me somewhat less sad. All right. Let's get. We do have one impression. Okay, what is it? It is Jesse arguing with Wado that MJ is the goat and not LeBron.
Starting point is 01:49:07 Okay, go ahead. Jesse the Cowboy. Oh, sorry. Oh, sorry. I was just looking at this thing. Okay, never mind. Sorry, sorry. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:49:16 Okay. Jesse the Cowgirl, what is she arguing with Waddo about saying again? That MJ is the goat. Oh. Easy. Oh, I mean, it's a no-brainer. MJ, bye, bye. He's the goatest goat of the goadies.
Starting point is 01:49:37 I don't know. I mean, LeBron carried a team on his back the whole way there. Some would argue that MJ needed the rest of his brethren to even get a few of those rings. Oh, guess who Michael Jordan carried on his back? Who? Baby LeBron. He's the whole reason why. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:50:00 LeBron's LeBron because MJ was MJ. fact check that we'll see how space jam two does because I think it's gonna be lazy little bit of the money a little more credit than is I'll tell you what if it's like Toy Story 2 it's gonna have a lot more of me
Starting point is 01:50:17 MJ only has more crying memes than LeBron that's the only thing okay so I rest my case goat let's hopefully Matt Link makes us side by side of just Waddo and Jesse because you don't need our mugs in there. All right.
Starting point is 01:50:34 Any more? Anything else in there, Alex? That was all for today, Christian. All right. Hit me with that music. Once again, guys, stereo.com slash Christian Harloff. Get on over there right now.
Starting point is 01:50:44 Right now. Brett and I are going to be over there. I'm going to probably smoke a little bit. Head on over. We're going to have a fun show. We're going to bullshit about whatever it might be. Send in your voice messages over here. Thank you to Ryan and Alex.
