All right, everybody, a little bit of a delay on this video, but I think it was worth it. We had a trailer reaction for Black Panther Wakanda Forever this morning. I got an interview with Sholomeh Deguña from not only Cobra Kai, star of Blue Beetle. He was in studio. We talked for about an hour, man. That's coming out a little later today.

I don't like him. He's cursing too much. I don't know what to tell you. That's how it goes. And if you're watching this and you watch Game of Thrones, then you're a hypocrite. Because they curse. A little kid saw a dragon, got scared and said, fuck.

Yesterday on the episode. So, that's what I got for you. Anyway, let's get into this episode, man. Easily the best. And that's also because of how good the show has been in general of why it was the best, because of all the lead up. What they're able to do and how they're able to jump back and forth and or excuse me, time jump, if you will, and still keep you invested because everybody was so worried about it, myself included of, oh man, everything that, uh, Amelia Adcock was doing is Emma Darcy can be able to handle the pressure? Boy, did they ever. Holy mackerel. The older version of Renera is fantastic. Well, Renara is fantastic. Well,

as a character has been fantastic. Darcy is a powerhouse, powerhouse. Had no idea who they were before, no idea. And I will never forget now. Olivia Cook was familiar with her. She's awesome as Allison as well. But man, this episode just did everything. It had that, what they do so well

and why I think it just relates to the Game of Thrones, if you will, is everything kind of in general, of how this show is working, right? You just look at how it starts, and we're right after Damon's wife's gone. She wants to get the hell out of there. She wanted to be out of there. He makes, you know, he has her stay. And her dad even says it, lucky.

We had the same type of doctors that were good, whether or not you're just trying to place blame here to his wife. And she's like, eh, Damon just cares about Damon. And our daughter could be alive. the hell knows that that's true or not. Nonetheless, brings everybody together for a big old shit show. Because that's what this was.

This is about as dynasty. Dynasty is a reference. Soap opera as you can get, but in the best way possible. Holy. So everybody here is going through stuff. Everybody. You got creepy Wolf Finhard.

On the, Wolf Finhard? Let's call him that because he's not Finn Wolf-Fard. He's jerking off on pigeons. That guy, look at him. Gets hammered. Better that he was hammered. I'll tell you that.

Better that he was hammered because he'd probably start jerking off on some squirrels or something. So that creepy weirdos off passing out and they throw him, they say, come on, jerk off. Get out of there. His brother, though, we'll get to him in a second. This is his coming out party, man. That kid, Egon. Not Aegon. What the hell is his name? Not Aragorn. Amund.

So anyway, this whole thing, that's what I love about the show, is the fact that you can be here in this, you can be here in this funeral for whatever it was, 10, 15 minutes, and sometimes you're just like, all right, let's move to the next scene. Not once did I think that. With Laris basically going to the ocean, he's battling all this stuff internally, and what they do with him in this episode is great.

Renair, I know she's on the defense. She's always on the defense right now, and her and Allison are just at ends, man, at odds ends. And the king, how he has lasted this long is good for him. Because we all thought he was going to be, he wasn't going to last the time jump. He's so good. Oh, he's so good.

I don't mind the king. Kids are bastards. we all know that. She knows that. Everybody knows that. But you can't say that because shit will go down. And shit goes down because of it, obviously. But there's just so much, there's so much going on. Everybody between the Valerians and the Targaryans and everybody's trying to get control. And I love that. I love the dynamic of it all because it's, again, it's this setup. The way that they're able to set things up and put these little pieces together going, okay. And it doesn't feel repetitive. It's like, oh, we get it. So-and-so wants the throne. She's not ready. She doesn't know she's going to be the queen.

I never feel like that ever. And a lot of other shows do that. It's just they rehash the same shit. They continue to tell you that story, but it's like, but it is a reason for it and there's a piecing of it together. And now not only are our players involved, and now the kids are really getting involved.

And so someone wrote this on my reaction to the episode last night. And I don't know how true it is or not. I asked the person if they had a link for it, but they said that HBO apparently wanted them to start it. episode eight. And the showrunners were adamant that one through seven had to be that setup to get as to what eight and the entire show is about. Now, again, I don't know. I've heard, the only reason I mentioned it also is because I've, I've heard similar things to that before, that they weren't sure how much of set up they wanted to do. And because I think in

the books, there's just, just kind of mentions here and there. And it's really about the civil war. And boy, are we getting to that civil war. But man, just a lead-up in the idea of everything kind of, you know, what's happening and the fact that you get creepy Agon who's talking about his sister and, and it's, and it's Aiman who's, you can just tell this is,

this is the kid that's supposed to be the leader. Agon ain't going to last man. He's just, he's going to, he's going to wind up jerking off on the wrong person, a bear, and then the bear's going to kill him. He can't, he's not going to last.

There's no chance. I think the battle, Amon to me is starting to try. What this show also does very well is it puts you in a position to root for somebody and then you're rooting against them instantly and vice versa. And they do that dramatically in this episode.

Because Amund is now afterwards, this kid has been picked on, bullied by his brothers, by everybody, that he can't get this dragon. He can't get a dragon. is he only fucker without a dragon. And what does he do? He goes after the biggest one. I mean, and what a ballsy move to do it at the lady's funeral.

She's dead. She don't got a dragon no more. Kids need him. Tough shit. Should have made the move. I'm making the move. And this is like straight up succession shit. He's going right out of the dragon.

He's like, who's this little turd? And he said, screaming out the Targary and Adam. He's like, all right. you know the words, you know the language. I'm going to fly up, see if you can hold on. And he does. And he's flying up on the thing, and he's flying around out there. And I'm like, all right, good for this kid.

Yes. And he's on his adventure and he's screaming. He's yelling. He's almost falling off. There were times, I was like, it'd be hilarious that the dragon just set him on fire. But then again, you knew that wasn't going to happen. He was going to do it. And he did it.

And I was like, this is great. Look at this. And everyone's like, oh, someone stole the big, the big, fuck. Dragon. Who did it? and I should and I should also I don't want to jump over one of the biggest moments here, obviously,

is that, look, Laris and Rennara have a relationship. She's not, in his eyes, she's not doing anything wrong. She can bang whoever she wants. He doesn't care. He doesn't care. They have an arrangement.

It's everybody else that has a problem with it. They talked about it 10 years ago. They're both cool with it. They understand. They're not sneaking around on each other. She knows he's got his dude. He knows she's got whoever she wants. and they're cool with it.

And one of the things that happens here is, we know that this has been going on forever. Her and Damon finally, it happens. And there's a great moment in the beginning that I also don't want to skip over of the fact that the king is just trying, the king's been consistent, and he's just like, all right, look, I kicked you out 10 years ago, come on back.

And Damon's like, no way, dude, screw you, I don't need you. It's not him that gets him back. It's Renera. And Renera, and they finally, they consummate. And man, it's like, okay, that goes down. And it's so weird. The music that they're playing, it's like a romantic music.

This is weird. She's banging her uncle. I mean, granted, she was married to her cousin, but she wasn't really banging him. And so now she is bad. She, her and her uncle, continuing that creepy targary. They wonder why these kids are all messed up.

With the white hair and the beating the piss out of each other. other and blowing loads on pigeons? What do you expect? Anyway, so here's this kid, Amon, and he comes back. He's all right. Look, his cousins come to greet him, so I think. Because Damon and when they realized that someone stole the dragon, they're like, who was it? That tips them all. And then the cousins go down there. The cousins are like, hey, man, you stole my mom's dragon. And I thought the kid's going to go, well, yeah, listen, I had to do it. He goes, fuck off.

And he's just a dick. He turns into Joffrey all of a sudden, like that. Confidence. Ten foot dick, this kid. Out of nowhere. I mean, I guess you conquer the biggest dragon. But I mean, this kid, he's coming in going, yeah, your mother's dead deal with it. I got her dragon now.

Fuck off. You're like, whoa, kid. He's picking up rocks trying to smash. heads. They're all trying to kill each other. The cousins, now they're going to be brothers and sisters pretty soon. Right? Yeah.

It's a Brady bunch over in that house now. Ficked up Brady bunch. Anyway, so they're all fighting, and this kid's fighting them all off, this Aymann kid. But the little guy who they keep, that kid, he's like the John Snow, I feel, that kid, her, Reneer's oldest, right? Because the little guy, when the little guy got punched in the nose, I was like, oh, I felt bad. I felt really bad.

Because it was the little yelp that he gave out. I got two kids. So I've heard that yelp before. And they hurt themselves like, oh, man, I feel terrible for that kid. I thought one of them was going to eat it. And he didn't, didn't eat it. He got his eye slashed out. He's a tough little fucker that kid.

He really is. I didn't know what was going to be with that kid. I really didn't know. But man, well, this guy went through it too. This poor guy. Not only does he lose his daughter. He thinks he loses his son, but we'll get into that in a minute. But here's this kid.

Creepy eye Magoo, he's gone. He's got one eye. Patch. I'm going to call him. He's like, he's like, if Draco Malfoy was a badass, it'd be this kid. Because this kid's sitting down on the throne. Look at him. Look at him.

Everybody else is sitting around, and he just throws, he just throws Amon. under the bus doesn't give two shits about it. Who told you that? Who told you that lie? Who told you? Ah, Amon. He's a dick bag.

I don't care if he gets in trouble. He's not going to ride his mom out. It's Amon's. But I liked Amon's answer during this whole thing. Everybody knows. What do you mean? Everybody knows. It's the richard gyrible thing.

Everybody knows. Everybody knows. Grand Pops. That whole thing. Man, that all. That. That was so intense. It was like that when we were watching that wedding

and everybody's on the edge of the seat like, oh, what's going to happen? What's going to happen? This, you leave from the kids trying to kill each other. And the actor I played Amon was talking about it too. He's like, it's like, they're all trying to kill each other. They're all trying to kill each other, those kids. And you come back, and it's like, they took my kid's eye.

What are you going to do about it? He's like, what's happening? He's trying to find out. And then he said, well, they call them bastards. And the kids protected himself. So there's this inherent, this is like the whole setup for that Civil War. I mean, we've already gotten to the setup, but you know, like the, this is it. This is like one of the first real big battles as they're sitting there.

The greens and the blacks and they're talking. And I loved what happened with Sir Kristen here. I loved it because Allison's like, do me favor. Go get the eye. Do it. You're sworn to me. He's like, I'm sworn as your protector. He didn't do it.

All right. I'm doing it. He said, I'm not an asshole and I don't, and I'm not stupid. I go try to take this kid's eye out. I'm not going to make it very far. And he doesn't. He reacts when it's time to react, which I loved. This kid's just sitting on the sitting there and Damon just watching, watching them all just go after each other.

And he goes in action when it's time, right? Because this moment, man, these two lifelong friends, friends are now bitter enemies, and Allison just loses it. She's like, my kid, I'm playing by all the rules. And by the way, we didn't mention their dad is back as the hand of the king. We'll talk about that in the second. And there's this moment of them. She's like, now they see you.

Reneira says, now they see you as you are. Go ahead. Do what you're going to do. Kill me. They're going to see it. She's turned into Circe because it's like it's watching like the, the dark side just completely take over because that's what's happening here. It's like everything that is, all the right that she tried to do, she feels like it's not,

it's not how it's, it's, she's trying to do right and by doing right, her husband just will always protect his daughter no matter what. I happen to think in this one, he was doing the right thing. I think he was doing the right thing. The kid was defending himself, a little asshole with the dragon. Look, he took the dragon. I think he had the right to the dragon. he made his move, that's them the rules.

Was it, was it a creepy move? Was it a shit move to do it at the funeral? Yeah, but them the rules. I'm okay with that. But then to start smashing heads with rocks, he should just said, take it up with my lawyers, walked out, no fight, take it up with them.

It doesn't matter what you say. I don't give a shit, I got the dragon. Eat shit, but getting yourself into that fight. But what an answer by this kid. Eh, you know what, it's cool. I lost an eye, but I got a dragon out of it. And Hightower says the same thing. He's like, yeah, kids right.

It was worth the price. And man, all of it, the way the whole thing leads. And then when Sir Kristen does go into action after, you know, this whole thing, after the cuts and all that, and Damon then sets up, like this, this shot here, if you're listening on audio, then I'm looking at Damon and Renera standing next to each other. He's protecting his, I guess, soon to be stepson's. and then his former father-in-law just kind of standing around and looking, but it's, it's, it's that they're standing off.

It's like, this is where the battle really begins. And that whole thing just worked. And then Allison has to have this conversation with the father and she's, and I loved it. Oh, my God, I love that scene. She's like, it reminds me of, um, of Eminem in eight mile. When he's like, okay, here, here's what you're going to say. Boom, this is what, this is everything that I, that I've done wrong.

boom what he got next but a father's waiting for it father goes yeah he did all that all that was true every single thing he said i didn't know you had it in you and that's what it's going to take to win this thing kids right lost and i got a dragon we're in a good spot here and i think he's thinking because he picked up pigeon boy and was like this kid's a fucking asshole um i think i think all the chips are going to go into, whether it's the daughter or, or Egon, or, excuse me, Aymond now. That's where all the chips are going to go in. Because nobody is, now we're getting to the Game of Thrones where nobody is safe. Shit's going down.

And speaking of shit going down, as we, as Allison, she, she apologizes to the king, they just not talk about it anymore. King is the king is not going to see too many days. And then this happens. Now, how do these two get married? these two get married well before we we got to get to laris man because i became a i was a fan of his became a massive fan of us and they did it so well the way that they did it they made you a massive fan even if you liked him before they made you a massive fan where he's like look

i've been going through all this stuff my sister's gone i 10 years ago i lost the love of my life all this and i'm and i'm i'm a great warrior and i've done all this these things and I've done the things I'm supposed to do, but I have not been there for you. I made you an oath. I told you I was going to be your husband. Like, you know, and I tried, and I tried to do it. I tried to give you kids. And I just, I was not made that way. And she says, you're an honorable man. You're a good dude. And you've done right by me. He's like, now, but I got to be there more for you. So I'm going to be. And you're like, this guy, unbelievable. Hands clenched. All right. Way to go, Laris. And then there's this conversation between

Damon and Renera. And they're like, well, we got to bomb the house finally. We got to do this because if we do that, we're going to be very powerful. And Allison's going to be in some deep shit. And he's like, but Laris has to die. And you're like, wait, what? No, you can't do that. You just made me really care about this guy.

Don't do that. Don't do that. And then they do the move where then Damon goes, approaches his lover and says, look, I'm going to pay you some cash. It's got to be a quick death. Kill him. And you're like, wow, that was a, that sucks. This sucks.

This really sucks. And then I saw a whole article last week about how nobody's likable on this damn show, and that everybody's a dick. And I'm like, Renara, you had me. And now you lost me. You're going to kill him? And there's this fight. He's in the fire.

The father comes in. His mother loses it because he's dead. I'm like, this sucks. Oh, everybody's. a dick and then he's alive. I wish I would have the reaction for this one because I probably said yes, that's awesome, like 17 times. Yes, that's awesome. He's on the boat, shaved head with his buddy, his lover. And they're out of there. Out. He freed him. They freed him from his chains. Because it made more sense when that happened. Because Damon's always talked about how he had respect for him.

Always had respect for him. Always thought he was a good warrior. And Damon's not just a maniacal lunatic. He's a lunatic, but he's not just a maniacal lunatic to the sake to be, like Joffrey, just the sake to be one, just to kill someone because. And even though there was a reason behind it, if he could, if he could free, he liked him, he liked him. And clearly they let him, they let him go. I loved it. I thought it was so great. I hope it doesn't come back to bite him in the asshole. It might. But anyway, the music was playing with those two, how romantic it was supposed to be. I'm like, you realize it's a cousin and the uncle, right?

Or the niece and the uncle, right? That's what this show is. Either way, that whole setup. And it just takes you through this adventure. It's craziness. It's crazy. So much. And then, oh, yeah, I don't want to leave this guy out.

Because now Allison now is going full Searcy. She's getting Searcy's time. And I think she's got to. And now she's dealing with this creep of the week. This guy is just. People are talking about how this guy is not Littlefinger. This guy's full on Ramsey, so whatever his name was. I think High Tower is more Littlefinger.

Otto is playing those. Otto is playing the politics well, and he's playing the long game. This guy, he says, look, I know he said, you want to take off the kid's eye. I'm free this Thursday. What do you got? Do you want me do it? She's like, no.

Don't take the kid's eye out because I just cleared it up and made it seem like everything was good. But I am going to reward you, like I already did, and I made you the new head of the castle now, but I'm going to need you. And I'm not going to need you to keep your mouth shut, but I am going to use you as my pit bull. They're both building up.

Oh, this show is so good. It's so rich. It's rich. Someone also mentioned in the comments, I wonder what you guys think about this. I want to hear your comments. Someone said that they think that this could be an anthology series, that because it takes place, whatever it is, 200 years before DeNaris,

that this season's all about this range of Tigarians. And the next season will be in the new crop, the legacy after that. What do you guys think? I think that's a risk because you're so attached to these. these characters and it's, but I don't know, the casting, but it's so good, this show. Emmett Darcy is awesome. Olivia Cook is awesome. Everybody in the show is awesome.
