Huge DC updates from James Gunn.
There's some stuff going on.
Do we believe it?
Do we not believe it?
We'll see.
Originally,
we're going to talk about the main topic on this show.
It's going to be how is Deadpool in trouble of all this Baldoni and Blake
lively stuff is the MCU future of the mouth of the Merck?
Is that in jeopardy?
Andor, season two.
That trailer dropped.
And I haven't seen it yet.
So I'm going to do a live trailer reaction for you guys today on the show.
And then we'll talk about it with myself and John.
So there's tons of other things that we're going to discuss.
We're also going to talk about what the hell was the rock talking about,
taking people's souls and whatever it was, a very strange promo, in my opinion.
Maybe you guys loved that.
I don't know.
Maybe John loved it.
I have no idea.
But John turned on the rock a long time ago, so he probably hated it too.
So that and more on today's show.
it is the Christian Harlov show with myself, John Stephen Roker.
Let's get into it, everybody.
Paul Giamati is Batman.
My motherfucking Batman.
Let's do it.
Welcome back to the Christian Harlow show, Newtime, 11 a.m. PST for you guys, 2 p.m. E. Est, John, Roca, what's up, Mayor.
What's going on, everybody.
What a morning.
A lot of stuff going on.
It's true.
Of course, the day that I, that I, I,
I was here.
I got here in the morning.
I put videos up.
I didn't need to do.
There's no news that was breaking or anything.
And I left for about an hour and a half or so from the office.
And then all hull breaks loose.
Tons of stuff went down.
Yeah.
So we'll discuss all that stuff.
The box office,
we even talk about the big drop on Captain America,
bigger drop than I think that you and I were expecting it to have.
Yes.
I guess.
I don't even want to talk about it.
So we'll talk about that.
Yeah, man, a bunch of other things.
I went and I saw we went into the city yesterday.
I saw Aladdin on Broadway,
took the family in the seat.
It was,
it was nice, man.
It was a nice little experience.
Do you think of the genie?
Do you like the genie?
He was great.
Okay.
He was great.
That's the linchpin of the show.
You got to get the genie.
He was the best part of the show.
And it was the energy,
the energy of that guy was great.
And it's just a Broadway thing.
It's nothing against the actors.
They got rid of Abu.
I love Abu.
Oh, no.
Instead of the monkey,
it's three friends.
which is fine, I guess.
But like the ones that stole the show was Jeannie, obviously.
The actor that played Yago, because it wasn't a bird, just a little sidekick.
And Jafar was really good.
Jasmine was good.
It was good.
The kids loved it.
And the magic carpet looked fantastic.
I got to say, that's good.
It was really good.
So we had a good time.
It was a nice thing to take the family in and they had a good time.
So anyway, lots of stuff going down here, John.
Like I said, there's the trailer for Andor that we'll talk about that I haven't seen that you have seen.
So we'll discuss that.
We've already started the questions as, look, I thought you guys are a lot last week.
Listen, clearly we need to get to 400 questions.
So.
I couldn't believe that when that happened.
I've done it.
I couldn't believe it.
I was like, I thought, you know what?
I'm tired.
I'm tired of setting the bar and then everyone else because they hate Roka so much.
It goes and donates on all the other stream.
I never win.
I think you might be honest.
Yeah, I think so.
You know, and before we jump into the big story of the James Gunn stuff and all
in the updates and all that, the other thing was nice, did you watch any of the SAG Award
stuff?
I did, yeah, last night.
You know, I used to work the SAG Awards.
I've got a friend who's one of the producers on there.
So it's always fun to watch it.
Pretty brisk ceremony, but not without it stumbles, but overall, I thought to,
It was a good presentation, very classy, but some audio issues kept it from being like, I don't, I don't watch.
I don't watch a lot of stuff.
But I pay attention to winners and stuff.
And I saw a few of the moments, some other moments with Jessica Williams and, and Harrison Ford, which is great.
With his bread.
Hilarious.
But I think that the thing that stood out the most with Timothy Shalamey winning.
Yes.
Yes.
That was big.
I don't know if that's going to really say much because you don't really know.
It's all over the place.
all over the place this year. It's crazy.
So what yeah, do you think that his winning?
That's going to that's going to do anything?
I think it brings stuff into question now about Adrian Brody.
And I think the brutalist, I think we're not going to really know until the dust settles
after the Oscars, how much that AI controversy messed with the brutalist votes.
Messed with other votes.
But I mean, Salome winning with said, that's huge.
But is that enough to get them across the line?
I don't know because obviously it's not just actors who vote for the,
the best actor
the Oscar. So I think
it's a good win for him
and I think it shows that there is
it's seriously a two-man race, him and Adrian
fully now, but I do
think Adrian is going to eke it across
I do too. Now I think still the best
picture is all over the map. It could be anybody.
I mean, yeah, it could be that a complete unknown
out of nowhere does a little sweet thing.
Real area. People are just like, you know, they want to go
with something really safe, a biopaque man gold.
Yeah.
This points.
Or do they want to go with something like Anora,
the subject matter of Anora,
or our voter is going to be into that.
So there's a lot of questions here going into the Oscars.
And watching,
I tweeted,
I don't know if I tweeted this out,
but I wrote the tweet out,
but watching all these Oscar pundits
jump from movie to movie,
like Goldilocks and the Three Bears,
just that they can say,
oh, I called it on December or on January 4th.
And it's like, no, you picked every movie in the fucking category,
every nominee in the category.
So no,
these self-discrust.
described Oscar punants, by the way, you don't have to get certified for that.
You can just say you're an Oscar pundit.
You know, it's, it's nonsense.
It's utter, utter nonsense.
You know, it's like, it's like Michael Jackson calling himself the king of pop.
Nobody called you that.
You called yourself that.
So it just stuck, though.
It's stuck with him.
Sorry about that.
It's all right.
Listen, it happens.
Okay, let's get to this topic before you lose your world.
Oscar pundits.
We all watch it.
So anyway, go ahead, go ahead.
I don't ever call me that again.
All right.
So let's get to.
this, which is
James Gunn.
He is giving status update.
What is that?
Stop that.
Who asked you to do that?
I didn't know.
Are you putting balls on there again?
Don't just jump.
Just jumped down here.
We want to get all of this.
And then what I wanted to do was this.
There it is.
Okay.
James Gunn gives a status update on DCU projects,
Batman, Clayface,
and three movies a year plan.
Uh-oh.
Gunn and DC Studio.
Co-Chief Peter Saffron hold court with reporters on all things DC Studios.
Okay.
This happened last week or whatever.
They had that little private event.
Superman filmmaker, DC Studios co-chief James Gunn sat down with reporters last week to offer
status updates on all things DC alongside his co-chief Peter Saffron and one golden rule emerged.
They're not rushing into anything.
Gun said he's bringing key lessons in franchise building from his time at Marvel to DC.
with a strong focus on script quality over release dates and building a connected universe
that still allows for standalone stories.
Gun directed directly referenced his experience making the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise,
noting how his initial skepticism on the first film turned to success.
Guardians came in, suddenly everyone's like this movie is going to be Marvel's first bomb.
This can't work.
No one cares.
What's a raccoon?
I was a raccoon ever going to talk to Thor.
And then it went the way that it did.
he had it addressing chatter over DC's revamp.
So I learned to see that just see this noise and it gets louder and more extreme,
but it's just a bunch of noise.
This experience appears to have shaped DC's current approach under his and Peter Saffron's
leadership as it has been my experience working in Hollywood.
The worst thing about the quality of Hollywood movies is that so many scripts get greenlit
based on a date or based on this as an IP that we want to make, but not doing it properly.
Gun set.
Gun Superman will hard launch the new DCU this summer, but several other
films and shows are in the works and in various stages of production and development.
Gunn noted that the company's focus is on making each project work independently
while building out a larger universe. We remain steadfast in making sure that each of these
projects works a standalone project so that you can go see Superman, you can watch
lanterns without having to see both of them, Gunn said, while also adding there's going to be
special things in there for people who have seen both. Safran emphasized the company's
flexible approach to universe building. We've laid out in
internally a plan for ourselves, but we're happy to pivot as things emerge as we discover things in the
makings of Superman or in the making of Supergirl or scripts being written when there's a flexibility
built in, even though we know what the larger story is headed. In terms of output, DC Studios is aiming
to produce two live action films and one animated film per year, according to Saffron, who also
added a targeting two live action and two animated series for the Mac streaming service per year.
That's interesting, two live action series. So four series for the year?
They're talking about seven projects a year.
Holy moly.
Their strategy also extends to how they select projects with some unexpected editions coming from
strong creative pitches on the upcoming Clayface movie.
Gunn said Clayface is the crazy one because we had no plans on making a Clayface movie.
Mike Flanagan came in.
He pitched a Clayface movie.
It was great.
So he turned in the script and it's one of the best scripts that we've read from the whole time.
It's fit nicely within the DCU and it takes us into the world of Gotham, Safran added.
So the opportunity to make a horror film for DC.
was kind of like a gift. Gunn's also taking a different approach to fan engagement.
Gunn recalled his positive fan experience as a kid,
meaning the Clash lead singer, Joe Strummer,
at Colony Records in New York and hanging out with the musician.
That kindness to me meant so much that if someone,
that if I can give some semblance to that to a kid who comes up and talks to me in public or online,
which is the way it mostly happens today,
then I would want to do that, Gunn said.
I would say that James has always, for 20 years,
really brought an authenticity to his interaction online, Saffron added.
That's something.
that actually help.
On the marketing front, Gunn and Safran are maintaining close creative control,
working alongside the creative advertising and worldwide marketing teams at Warner Bros. Discovery.
We work incredibly close with Christian Davin and Dana Newsbaum and John Stanford.
Saffron said, John is the one who basically cut the trailer, Gunn said,
but it was with me being creatively involved with the trailer,
and that's just the way it's going to continue to be with me being involved with creative
and Peter being involved with the overall structure of everything.
The overall DC studio strategy appears to have studio support from the very top.
As Safran noted, we have the full support of David Zoloft on all fronts.
He loves what we're doing, loves the movie, and really rallied the entire company behind Superman for this summer.
It's incredibly gratifying, frankly, that everything that DZ has promised us two years ago when we took the job, it has been in reality since we've been in the job.
So the status updates on the upcoming project, Superman, currently in editing, with gun calling the cast, maybe the best cast I've ever worked with, including Cornswet,
Brosnanhan, Nicholas Holt, Ed Gathie, and Nathan Phileon.
Somewhere Dave Batista is screaming.
Supergirl, we're now halfway through the production on Supergirl, Gunn Set, of the Greg
Gillespie directed film based on the woman of Tomorrow Comics with a script from Anna Nguera.
For that, the studio loved immediately.
Peacemaker Season 2, recently wrapped filming, according to Saffron.
It's going to debut in late August.
Clayface.
Cameras are going to roll this summer with James Watkins currently in negotiations to direct.
Saffron described it as an amazing body horror film that reveals a compelling origin of classic Batman villain.
He added, Clayface is not as widely known as Penguin or Joker, but we think his storyline is equally resonant and thrilling and frankly, even more terrifying.
The Brave and the Bold, here we go.
There we go.
In active development, with the script currently being written, while Gunn didn't name the writer, he said, I'm working very closely with the writer on the Brave and the Bold.
The script is really good so far.
It's quiet.
The Batman Part 2.
Matt Reeves hasn't turned in a full script yet, but what they've read is in.
incredibly encouraging, according to Saffron, he also added, it is very unlikely that Patinson
will become the DCU Batman, shooting down the numbers once and for all.
The D.T.U. Batman, the plan is still to introduce him in the Brave and the Bowl, but he could
make an appearance in another DC Studios project.
What's a Clayface? I wouldn't rule anything out, Gunn said. He could show up in something else.
Swamp Thing. Obviously, James Mangle went off to make a wonderful other film, and so the ball is really
in his court now. Ooh, that's interesting. Wow. What an interesting,
and yeah so don't count on swamp thing anytime soon with that answer dynamic duo in pre-production
described by saffron as a coming of age crowd pleaser being produced with Warner Brothers animation
written by Matt Alridge and the authority development on the project has slowed as other
projects to priority done set out of all the projects we had everything is still 100% fully on
track that one the one that the one that kind of got messed up with all the other good things that
happened as the authority and the script has also had a harder time coming along so that's been
part of it as well.
Okay, so that's pretty much everything that's in there.
I think you said there was a couple other things.
What did you say he said about machete?
So what they say is that, well, we're still an active development on the script.
And once we finish the script, then we'll show that to Andy and then we'll see who's going
to direct this thing.
I've been telling you guys for months that he's been off this thing.
He's off this thing.
And they are doing the Hollywood thing of like slowly weaning the public off the idea.
that Andy Mushyady is going to do this movie.
He's not going to do this movie.
So people have been going nuts at me,
people in their mom's basements yelling at me on YouTube,
like, ah, you don't know what you're talking about.
I know from here in my mom's basement,
what's really going on.
And so it's just been ridiculous,
but it seems pretty clear that he is not going to do Brave in the Bolt.
And I think they're doing all the things that they're going to do
to kind of move it.
Oh, Andy didn't like the script.
They're going to give him like an out.
So it doesn't look like they walked away from him right after.
flash because they totally did you know yeah i'm i'm curious i'm curious about what how they're going to
wind up doing that because i don't think i don't think he's on it either i don't think he's going to do it
in the same way that i don't think uh chenoy is going to do that ray movie right there i just don't
i it's just yeah yeah it's the fact they didn't seem like they're even on the same page
when he's like oh we haven't talked it doesn't look it's going to happen anytime soon or this
and then there was so much disinformation kind of going back and forth between the two of them
and then he's like, I haven't spoken to James since he did Superman.
It's like, okay, that that is so telling in general.
So, so I don't, as far as that goes, I don't know.
However, I will say I liked a lot of the, I liked a lot of that stuff.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I like, yeah, like what they were saying.
I like how they approach it.
And I like what he said about the fan stuff.
I like what he said about, um, in general, how they, what they're looking to do with
this and how they're, they want to go quality over anything else, which is what you
want to hear people saying.
for sure. I like the idea
that they said, look, we didn't even have an idea to do
Clayface, but there was a good pitch that
came in for it. It fit in what we were doing.
So we said, yeah, Flanagan knows what he's
doing, let's do it. I love that.
I love that approach. I think that's pretty great.
Yeah, I do too. And it shows that you're
able to think on the fly and see
that there's a avenue that opens
up and the possibility of going down that
avenue. Again, Christian, we
haven't seen one thing officially live action
from DC under James Gunn yet.
Creature Commandos is fun and they're working on season two.
Great.
That was a blast.
But live action.
So we got to see what this is,
what this universe is all about.
And certainly a lot of things are in motion.
So we'll see if they all work.
But I do like the idea that,
hey, something opens up.
They're willing to explore more of it.
And they find the right people to get on top of it like Mike Flanagan.
So it's an interesting situation.
No mention of Sergeant Rock, though, is really interesting after Daniel Craig left the project.
So that's a curious thing to leave out.
but I like that they confirmed that Pattinson will not be their Batman so we can apparently put that to rest, much to Jeff Shagrin on the hot mic, so we will see.
Yeah, it's funny because now does this play into it?
Because I know that on your show with Jeff, he said that the directors were kind of pushing back already a lot of the gun stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Jeff says that Jeff's hearing that the directors are not doing well, taking notes from James Gunn, that they don't.
don't feel like that's a situation and that it might be keeping some directors away from getting on board with DC.
So I'm not sure 100% how much of that is accurate, how much of that isn't.
But he said that's what he's hearing in essence, that it's not going as smoothly as people were hoped for.
And he's like, look at the directors that are in contention now to take on these projects.
These are not directors with huge resumes.
Other than Luke, obviously, they're directors with some middling projects, some good projects.
So it seems to me that he's getting directors that will listen to him to do these projects.
So does that mean they're going to, is it going to yield good projects?
I don't know.
But it's very clear from this whole thing that James Gunn is the person that is the point person.
He's made very clear numerous comments as you're reading it, Christian, I'm involved with this.
I'm involved with this.
I'm involved with this.
I'm involved with this.
So this is all hinging on James Gunn.
And more so than ever, he is making sure people understand that.
and reiterates that, in essence, you know.
Well, I do like the updates.
I mean, look, seven, seven projects.
That's a lot.
Yeah.
I mean, again, Marvel worked up to that.
Marvel didn't start with seven projects.
It was like two movies with Hulk and Iron Man,
then step by step to take in chances.
I don't understand the desire to run out of the gate.
I just, this is what ruined D.C. last time.
Let's do all these movies and do a Justice League.
You know, it's like, well, no, wait.
Let's lay the groundwork.
then we'll get to Justice League.
So I don't know.
What do you think?
Seven seems like a lot.
With animation and everything,
too,
I mean,
it's a lot.
It's,
and especially where you,
it just doesn't give yourself enough time to get ready and let people know that all,
all of stuff is quality.
If you can put out seven projects and get it all to be quality,
then good on you.
But I mean,
that's,
that's hard.
Yeah.
How about the James Mangled stuff too?
That's,
that's interesting where he's like,
it's in James court now.
It means that James like,
yeah,
I'm going to do Star Wars.
I'll talk to you as well.
And that's fine.
I mean,
and they said as much,
like,
okay,
fine.
And we don't need to do swamp thing.
It's like one of the main things we don't need to do that right now.
But I think that the,
the Batman stuff is telling and,
and then look,
they give you a definitive.
It doesn't look like Pattinson's going to be the DC Batman now.
They're saying it very clearly.
It's not.
Yes.
That's what it looks like.
Now,
another question,
what they didn't bring up was Sergeant Rock.
But this is,
but this is,
but this is from superhero hype.
It says Sergeant Rock gets filming window.
Daniel Craig was never attached to the DC movie.
Sports with Daniel Craig exiting,
Sergeant Rock has been exaggerated,
revealing DC Studios,
revealed DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn and Safran
during a recent media event.
Last week,
it was reported that Craig had dropped out of
starring in Sergeant Rock as the title character.
Now,
while speaking to journalists, Gunn and Safran shared
that Craig was never attached to the role.
In fact, Safran revealed they had never met with Daniel,
adding that he was just an idea.
Sergeant Rock was first announced in September,
November of 2024, Luca Guadaino,
is set to direct the World War II movie from a screenplay
from Justin Perkitts, who scripted...
How do you pronounce that?
Which one?
Lucas' last name.
Is it?
Guadonino.
Guadonino.
Okay.
Well, what we loved about Sergeant Rock
is the opportunity to tell a full story
about heroism and conflict in compelling and unique way.
Justin really wrote a wonderful screenplay, and that's what captured that project at the forefront.
When could it start filming?
If the right actor can be found, Sergeant Rock could begin shooting this summer.
The Clayfay's movies is expected to begin filming around that time, meaning the DC's universe third and fourth movies could be in production when the franchise first movie Superman hits in late July.
Gunn and Saffron didn't discuss who else was being eyed for Sergeant Rock.
And the insider, Jeff Schneider, shared last week that the bear star Jeremy Allen White,
currently holds the offer for Sergeant Rock.
However, while this schedule will seemingly be open to shoot Sergeant Rock,
Snyder noted that White is asking for too much money to star in the DCU movie,
which could lead DCU to start someone else in the role.
Sergeant Rock will poorly have a budget around 40,
making one of the studios cheaper productions.
I'll tell you, this is the second time I heard this,
because Clayface is the same thing,
that where Clayface is also on that 40 million thing, right?
Like that's, that's how you got to do it.
So if he's asking for too much and then your budget's 40, good on them for saying no.
I mean, good on them.
Was Snyder invited to this thing?
No, of course not.
I'm sure he wasn't.
I'm telling you, if I'm James Gunn and I'm Peter Safran,
I see that this guy is breaking all these stories, all the damn time.
Yeah.
I pull my balls out and I invite him to the thing.
Yeah.
But he doesn't invite him to it.
Yeah.
I mean, like he got invited to the last one because I told him it was happening.
He didn't know what was happening.
He reached out to the publicists that he knows at Warner Brothers and he got thrown in not with the journalists, but with the YouTube people.
And so he wasn't, he wasn't happy about that.
But that's the situation there.
But he, I don't think he has the best relationship with Warner Brothers.
And the truth is because he breaks stuff and they're mad that he breaks stuff, probably.
And I agree with you.
I'd rather bring the person in and be like, okay, look, here's the deal.
You know, it's always an issue with him.
Yeah.
But I do think that there's going to be, there's a lot here.
There's a lot.
And they're giving details, which is, which is good.
And they're being up front with everything that's going on.
I think we're going to get a lot more information about it.
I think there is also a matter of what Superman's going to do because that is so much more.
It's not paying attention.
You know, if you really ask them behind closed doors, how important.
Superman is he's gonna get over if it bombs he knows it's over like because in so look maybe saffron says
all right try another one but the confidence within the fans will be lost yes if it's if it stinks
you know yeah especially because you're going to supergirl and if if you do Superman and it's great like
i don't just like no offense to anybody i don't want well fuck it it's it's it's a we talk we're talking
to honesty right so i don't understand going from Superman down to supergirl down to
Clayface, down to Sargent Rock.
This doesn't make sense to me. I don't know why
you're not going. Superman,
Batman, Wonder Woman,
Greenland, like, I don't
understand this. But like you've got to establish
your pillars and then you can
go where you want to go.
Wait, but you're basing that
off of what Marvel did in the past, kind of, right?
No, because Iron Man wasn't a big name.
Like Iron Man's philosophy from the beginning was we're
going to focus on the smaller name.
Yeah.
I'm not saying Iron Man wasn't like unknown, but certainly he's not
the biggest didn't start with spider man or start with these other bigger things like they started
small and and established themselves right but dc doesn't necessarily have that so to me i think it's a
different approach you see very clearly has their big dogs in the yard right and certainly yeah if i
if i had the rights to everybody i think he would have started with spider man i think he would
have started with x-man and fantastic for all of that had to be negotiated with other studios so he went
with what he had but I think I understand that but I also I think that that's been tried to be done in the
past right where they were throwing everything like let's do Superman and then didn't even give
Batman and then they were going too fast right yeah but I think that there's something to be
said about look I have confidence in what our characters can do and the difference is what what you're
saying is and where I would be on your same page yeah is if Clayface and um this sergeant rock movie had
budgets of over $150 million movies and they're big movies that they're taking these big
shots at to try to be the ones that like you said like you go from Superman and you go this
Superman's going to be a hundred dollar two hundred million dollar movie these movies at 40
million dollar genre movies which is ballsy and it's a different type of strategy and if the
next big movie supergirl and the next big movie after that is brave in the bowl the next big one
then they are essentially are doing that you know but if they're going through like but
there are also going to be genre stuff that and both Clayface and Sergeant Rock don't go through
the the same connected narrative I guess that Superman will now Batman might right or the other big
movies it might so maybe that's where the strategy is if that makes sense you know I hear you and
I think but I would have preferred big then smaller big then smaller big than smaller
that way you're laying the groundwork for the less known characters,
but you're still establishing the strong, more well-known characters,
and you're building confidence of the audience that you're succeeding on both levels.
Putting three, because I do throw Supergirl in the same pile as Clayface and Sergeant Rock,
those are smaller stories, smaller heroes, like lesser known.
Right.
And so I think there's a danger there where if you don't come back with a big one for a while,
people are because how many people are going to go see clay base how many people are going to
see sergeant rock supergirl might do well but how many of the people are going to see that stuff
so i don't know it's an interesting strategy you know see if it pays are yeah yeah yeah we'll see
things a year though click that makes me nervous it's a lot especially when you haven't really
proven that it's working and people are really um into it yet i mean he said quality
right but it looks like there's going to be a lot of quantity that comes with it so maybe
it's a mixture of both. That's what they're trying to do. So we'll see. What say you guys,
put your thoughts in there. Let us know what you're thinking. Is this a good move? Is this a bad
moon? Do you like the announcement in general? What say you put your thoughts in there? Let me know.
All right. Before we move on to our next topic, because we've got a bunch of them. Let's get to our

John, you know what I'm going to do here is I know you've already seen the Andor.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
trailer I'm going to do a full reaction to this now a live reaction I haven't uh I haven't done that yet on the channel so I'm going to do that I'm going to do a full reaction of and I step it out I'll put you I'll put you I'll put you over here for now and then I'll do this let's see if I have uh right you know we'll do that that works all right let's get to the trailer for and or this is season two the highly anticipated second season of and or
Diego Luna is back.
Watch this, and then we'll talk about it afterwards.
Here it is.
Nice rock music.
We're in a war.
You want to fight?
Who you want to win?
Oh, shit.
Nice moves.
Oh, saw coming back in hot.
Let the world to turn around.
He's the best.
It's interesting music.
I don't know if I like it.
I don't think I like the music.
I want to throw out in this.
Yes.
I had to bring him back.
Wonderful.
They're really building up the award stuff here, huh?
That was wow.
I don't like the music.
At all.
I hate the music.
Oh, shit.
There he is.
Christopher Glover Light.
Holy shit.
This is epic.
You're here, you're ready to fight.
Damn.
That looks.
Great heritage.
Amazing.
All right.
Let's see.
Let me get that out of there.
I bring you down back.
That was great.
That was great.
I didn't love the music.
Yeah, I've seen some people criticize in the music.
And I did the reaction.
They put a copyright thing on because of the music.
Oh, really?
I hate the music even more now.
But yeah.
Great.
Well, yeah.
I mean, that's probably probably,
something that happens with this channel now um i don't even know if we put the monetization on for that i
like that look to do that uh but we um yeah dude i mean minus the music the the epicness of that
it's looking a movie we're a full-on movie it looks it's got a swagger to it not just from
diego walking into those scenes from behind yeah the overall confidence coming off of the screen
as you're watching this trailer is amazing like gilroy's like i'm glad we set things up for season
one now let me cook effort so i i'm i'm looking forward to seeing this one looks
it looks great and it looks like it matches up there's here's you know here's krenick
there's saw here's everybody that's going to lead up to rogue one it's going to all place together
and here you go enjoy it because it looks because it's going to be the bridge between
season one into rogue one and it's going to tie it all together and it looks
it looks epic it looks absolutely incredible i love the way it looks and i'm sure there'll be
somebody out there probably Kevin Smets who edits it and puts
different music to it makes it look a thousand times better.
Yeah.
But that's that is not I mean the music itself has nothing to do with the
series. They're not going to that that song is not going to play during the show.
That's just sometimes they do that. They take modern music and they put it to these
things and they they did it with gladiator two and it looks it was terrible.
And that that trailer didn't I like I like that either to the movie more than most people do.
But I didn't like the I didn't like the trailer.
the music on the trail.
The, this, everything minus the music was absolutely incredible.
And you know what they also did?
I noticed, John, is that they really were going heavy on how critically acclaimed
it was.
Yes, yes.
I mean, and I think that's on purpose, obviously, because they're like, well, we know
the accolite wasn't your jam.
Not a lot of you watch Skeleton crew, but remember, people love this series.
So come on, this is going to be great.
Come back to Star Wars.
Sign up again for Disney Plus.
We got you taken care of.
So they're reminding people how great this show was and how great it can be again.
Looking from that season two trailer looks like it is.
Yeah, I really, really enjoyed that trailer.
And it's like it was one of the most, I guess just because I like the first one so much that I'm,
it's the most excited I've been for a Star Wars thing in quite a while, I think.
Yeah.
So interesting questions too.
Saul looks like he's going to be a bigger part of the season or at least, I mean, there's a block,
probably where he's a block of the episodes where he's a really big part.
the mon mothma dancing around what is all of that like what is that ritual that they're doing
there so questions abound about her role of this yeah i'm uh i'm like you want to see when is it when
does that come out april 22nd april to wow it's that close huh what i mean they've got they've got
quite a few i mean you've got daredevil that's yeah which is right around the corner right
um and then you once that finishes up then you go right into and or yeah they're looking like
they're hitting, they're hitting pretty hard.
Yeah.
With two darker type series for their two IPs.
Right. Exactly. And then right after that is,
I think Thunderbolts, right, in May?
So it's like boom, boom, boom. And then
then you get Fantastic Four.
They're taking a break in some of the shows.
They canceled some of the other ones, which I think was a very
smart idea, with the Nova and the other stuff.
And very smart idea to pull back on that stuff.
And then you get into, yeah, Fantastic Four
after Thunderbolts.
and but as far as Disney Plus goes,
I think these are the two big series
and they're coming up within a month of each other.
What else comes out this year that is?
Ironheart.
Ironheart's another one too.
Right, right.
I mean, look, I like Ryan Coogler.
I'm hoping that's a good show.
But anything, dude.
They showed a like preview of it at D23 like two years ago.
Yeah.
And what they showed was fine.
But I mean, in comparison to both,
Daredevil and Andor.
And then you're going to follow up with this.
Maybe it's not a subpar show, but it could be.
And if it is a subpar show, then you know, it's like,
all that goodwill, you know, that.
However, maybe, maybe it's absolutely fantastic.
Yeah.
Oh, I think it will be.
Yeah.
Ironheart.
Yeah, Ironheart, I think will be okay.
I think we'll be good.
I don't think it'll be great, but I think it'll be good.
We'll see.
And then I don't know if there's anything else big, but I'm not sure.
As compared to, like last year, though, I mean,
they've got so much stuff coming out this year.
Last year, the only big one they had was Deadpool and Wolverine.
And that was kind of going to be my big topic.
I had a, you know, so Bonnie Somerville text would DM me over the like last week or whatever, too.
And she's like, what do you think about all this, uh, Brian Reynolds and, uh, and or Baldoni and Blake Lively stuff?
And I said, who cares?
I said, I'm so over.
I said, I don't want to deal with it anymore.
I'm so tired of it.
But then because I guess maybe the algorithm picked up on me just saying that.
Yeah.
Every other reel that popped up on my damn freaking Instagram was all about this stuff.
And I got to tell you maybe, and like I feel like you're going to be on this, you would have been on this page anyway.
But do you feel like public opinion has swayed dramatically towards Baldoni?
Oh yeah, I shifted big time.
Yeah, I've been covering it on my live shows, which I'll do tonight as well because the Hollywood reporter dropped a massive article on it over the weekend, bringing in the faith.
their the uh just of baldoni's faith like his religious faith in the i had no idea that was an
element of what was going on there so it's fascinating but that it has absolutely shifted because initially
when the reports came people were noticing this stuff why is baldoni not at the prom why is she
promoting this stuff so there's a bit of a backlash and she sensed okay people are turning on me because
people been waiting to turn on blake for quite some time there've been little things overall but then
and eventually it all came together here.
And so she put out the thing of the accusations, right?
Then everyone, like all these people did one 80s and were like,
oh my God, she's been harassed.
And then the texts came out, the Baldoni put out,
and people were like, well, this is insane.
Like they saw that there's much more going on here.
There's a much more rounder picture you got from those text messages.
So now you're seeing that they're fighting a little dirty.
They're trying to silence Baldoni's lawyer.
And so I think all of that has changed.
Plus, I also think, dude, there's been,
there's been rumors about Ryan for quite some time,
regardless of what our Emmanuel,
Emmanuel said recently.
There have been quite some,
there have been rumors behind the scenes about Ryan's asshole nature.
And so I think this all is just coming together.
Plus, they're two pretty white, blonde, very rich people.
And I think Hollywood has to do with anything.
I just think that is an element of things.
I don't say it, but I think it's an element of it.
They radiate the high school quarterback and the prom queen.
They radiate that thing.
And I think a lot of people have a natural, like, negative energy towards that.
And so it's become that.
So it's an interesting situation.
And look, I'm not really a saint, by the way.
No, I know.
But it does, it is crazy how much it shifted because like when a first time,
and like there doesn't seem like a lot of people that are coming out to their defense.
And like the Saturday and Alifton didn't do any justice for it.
It doesn't, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of people saying, oh, you know what?
I never, I had a pretty great experience of Blake.
You just see the opposite.
You see out from from all the stuff that she did, the late and meister thing I saw.
I never, you ever see them?
I think about apparently like late in meister.
I didn't realize that she was,
her mom was,
was in prison,
I guess when she was born,
born in,
in a jail prison,
in a,
in a hospital,
in prison hospital.
Yeah.
And Blake lively,
there was some question about the,
I don't know,
a reunion or something.
So like,
as if someone said something about a cage,
she said,
well,
only one of us has never been born in a cage or something like that.
Something like that.
And it's just like so crazy.
But the reason I bring this up in general.
Yes.
is that Ryan Reynolds has gotten his hands a little dirty in this situation because whether
nobody really knows what the situation is right did he was he jealous did he get involved that
way in defense of his wife there's too much out there that I don't we don't know the real
answers to right however what we do know is that again public persona their public opinion has
kind of shifted and now if you're Disney and you're looking you're going oh god we just got out of
this scandal that we had
with Jonathan Majors
and now here's this other scandal
with now guy just made us
his movie just made $1.4 billion
he was supposed to be in the
Avengers movie which was supposed to we're going to
we're considering doing a Deadpool 4
do you say
let's see how this pans out before
we go forward or do you say look
this movie made $1.4 billion
let's let's roll the dice
and see what happens. I think you
I think financially have to because we
in the bubble are all up on this story
and certainly TikTok and all of that, but that's not
the casuals, it's not the regulars.
And so I don't think is a big deal
to bring him back as Deadpool.
But if I'm Kevin Feigey,
because this is an element you haven't mentioned yet,
Christian, I'm making sure I pour
over this script and I'm
putting Ryan in a chair
and I'm strapping him to a
tooth-telling machine
so I can say, hey, is any
petty bullshit in this script
that's going to mess us up? Like,
nice pool.
because you got some axes to grind
about somebody who's working with your wife.
Just make sure I don't want any of that in a Marvel movie.
So don't ever do that again.
And I want to make sure you clear.
So I want to look at all the scripts.
I want to pour over all the scripts.
I want to have other people looking at scripts
and make sure you're not using us
to settle some petty scores.
Exactly.
I'm not confused.
Someone just asked,
can we go back to talking about DC and Marvel?
We just talked about Marvel.
We're literally talking of Marvel right now
about whether or not to use one of their stars.
That makes no sense.
Can we go back?
Hold on, yeah. I'll go back to what I'm just going to say the last sentence we said.
Is Marvel, which would go into keep talking about, can you talk about DC or Marvel again?
Is Marvel going to say that they're going to be able to use this star that are they going to continue on to do it?
So that is talking about it and it's part of it.
Jose, go do your own channel.
See how good it is.
Well, but he isn't.
Like people telling you what to do with your channel, Jose.
He might be.
He might have missed out on, on me, I'm aware of saying.
But he might have missed out on that we were talking.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Well, the whole situation is Marvel related.
So I don't know what he's complaining about.
Because it's going to affect things because I think it will.
And Ryan even said like, we'll see what Marvel does with Deadpool.
I like the idea of like him not being in everything.
I like that there's scarcity with him because it keeps him fresh.
And that's a smart move.
So I don't think we're going to see him all over everything.
And maybe this is a thing that they'll use to keep.
him limited in his appearances right we'll be in secret wars for god's
all right next thing we got to talk about is this thing that happened on Monday
night raw because I don't I don't understand what happened um so I don't
understand what is um there's this promo that comes out he brings the rock
brings out Cody and he tells him hey listen I want you to be my champion and he
I feel like he repeated the same bits, like 15 times in a row.
Yeah.
And we finally got to it.
And by the end of it, he's like, but you have to make your decision, not now, some other time.
And I was like, I don't even know what he asked.
What he asked?
He said, I want your soul.
Are you asking to be a bad guy?
Like, because that was the other thing.
The entire Rock's promo for the most of it was a baby face promo.
And then he's like, oh, I need to show that I'm a bad guy.
So he insulted New Orleans, you know, he insulted them and called them, whatever he called them,
and they booed him for a second.
And then it was weird.
It was a weird promo, isn't it?
Yes, it was 18 minutes.
So that's the first start.
That's way unnecessary.
I see people going, it says, Vince and Stone Cold,
Vince and Stokel didn't take 18 minutes to do their stuff.
All right.
This is ridiculous.
And he was, as you said, repeating himself, stumbling.
He's rambling.
To me, this is what happens when you try to be both.
You can't be a wrestler and the CEO.
Like, I mean, on the board.
I think there's a distance that develops.
and it just doesn't quite work, right?
And we saw Vince do it,
but Vince is like,
Vince was one of the boys from the beginning, right?
The Rock being a director and also doing movies
and animated stuff and producing things with seven bucks.
Oh, and I'm going to come back and be a rest.
And I get it.
Look, hardest working man to showbiz,
I love the Rockies and inspiration.
But none of these promos since he came back
have been that strong.
And he seems lost half the time.
And to me, this felt like a prison promo.
And by that, I mean, he's basically telling Cody Rhodes that he wants him to be as prison B.
And I think that's what he essentially said, I want to, I want your soul.
Give me, I don't want the belt.
I want your soul.
Where is that coming from?
There's been no buildup at all.
The rumor is also that, you know, it's like they, WWE wasn't even planning on the rock at all.
And they decided you wanted to come back.
So that's part one.
Part one is that.
The other thing is, if you notice, like, they're having a problem selling out
WrestleMania.
Do you notice to tell that report?
And they were started to point it towards, look, everyone was like, yeah, good for Jay Uso.
Good for Jay Uso, he got his push.
Good, I mean, good, great.
But who the hell wants to see Jay Uso versus Gunther again for the title?
It's like, it's not, the guy's not a main, he's not a star.
I'm telling you, he's not a main eventer, I should say.
Star is not fair, but he's not a main eventer.
And a lot of these matches that they had.
And then what are they going to do with,
please don't have a triple threat between Seth Rollins,
Roman Raines and CM Punk.
Please don't do that.
It sounds like where they're headed.
P.U.
P.U.
Do you want Rock versus Cody?
Like that?
I don't.
I want Sam Punk versus Cody.
Rock versus Roman.
That's a much better thing.
Yeah.
I don't know where it's going.
It seems odd.
I agree with you.
He's inserting himself yet again.
It's like they learned none of the lessons from last year.
when he tried to insert himself and messed up the whole program,
he's doing it again and it's ego.
And because people who depend on the rock so much
and make so much money off the rock,
they're in his ears going,
you're amazing, you're the greatest,
you should be doing this.
Total, that was a great promo champ.
Great promo champ.
You totally got there.
No one's telling the rock no now because he's so rich.
He's not listening to anybody who's telling him
not to do certain things.
And it just is frustrating because you see
that these promos just do not work.
man. It's true.
Because Cody becomes almost an
afterthought and he's the chance. Look, the
only thing that you could do also, if you want to do
John Sina versus Cody
with
Cody being, you know, maybe
that's when he becomes the corporate champion
or something. You turn Cody heel
that way against John Sina
with the ride. But how about is
a rock going to be like for the next year?
He's got 75 movies that he's working on.
So nobody hates
the rock like they hated Vince. The rock doesn't
represent anybody's boss.
Like it's not the same.
He can call us up the final boss all he wants.
It's not the same energy as if they're trying to repeat the same beats.
Plus, Cody should turn heel on his own.
Yeah.
Why do they need to turn heel for the rock?
You know, that's ridiculous.
Cody should turn heel on his own.
I saw the card that they were potentially doing, and it doesn't look great so far.
But who know?
We'll see.
All right.
The other thing we're going to do is we have talking about this box office.
Let's do it.
All right.
So here is the box office.
from over the weekend.
And I didn't think the numbers would drop as much as they did.
And they dropped pretty big.
We got Captain America Brave New World, 28.2.
It's a big drop.
Monkey is at 14.2, Padding to Peru, 6.5, Dogman at 5.9.
He's at 2 at 4.4.
But you look at Captain America right now, Brave New World,
coming in at 289 so far worldwide, that's not great.
Even if you believe the 180 box office, okay,
so you still need to make about close to 400 million to break even.
That's kind of, that's a trek.
Even 180 production cost, not box office.
180 production cost.
If the 180 production cost is accurate, which we don't believe it is,
but let's give benefit of the doubt,
you're probably going to need close to 400 to break even with marketing and everything.
So that's really bad.
And then if you don't believe that number and you say it's closer to 300, 400,
that's a terrible, terrible number.
So what do you think about this big drop on?
It's 68%, which is right around where Love and Thunder and Multiverse of Madness were at there at 67%.
but they came out of the gate much stronger.
Stronger, right.
This is more on par with Amman of the Wask, Quantumania,
because that dropped it 70% after $106 million to debut,
and the word of mouth, poor reviews,
and I think it barely crossed,
it didn't cross 500 million.
So I said last week on the show with Jeff,
that judging from the negative word of mouth
with so many people and the criticisms,
I would be surprised if it broke 500.
I really would, and I'm even more in that camp,
that it won't break 500,
it because seeing these numbers because a 68% drop is going to lead us to an 82% drop next week
and then it's just going to be swallowed up.
I thought with no competition, people would go back multiple times.
People would go see it for the first time.
But it's clear that this is a film that's not catching on.
And it's not as bad as those other films.
I just think it's a product of this.
The people that wanted to see it saw it.
Yeah, exactly.
And then the, like, Marvel has been so inconsistent with their movies lately that it's,
Once the fans go, I don't want to see it, they don't go.
They don't feel a force to go or that they have to go.
They feel an autonomy to be like, you know what?
I'm not.
I didn't see Love and Thunder.
I didn't see quantum mania.
I didn't miss a damn thing.
And I'm not going to go see this.
Yeah, you're not.
That's the thing is that you're not making people feel like they're missing anything.
Exactly.
Yeah.
That is the big thing.
And I think that it's going to come to Deer Devil will be, I think people will be like,
oh yeah, I like that show.
And when it was on, I'll go check that out.
and see and then maybe that because people are excited again but i don't know we'll we'll see because
there's a lot of things that are coming out within the next couple of months that should reshape or
put it in more peril i don't know let me ask you a follow question do you think sam stays there's a lot
there's a lot of conversations now online about whether sam should stay as captain america
and should be the leader of the avengers after a bomb like this which which seems like it's
going to bomb. Do you think they make
a course correction here and
find, bring back Evans or
make someone else the leader of the
adventures? No, because I don't think it's an Anthony
Mackey problem. I think it was
directed terribly,
or not well, I should
say. It was edited, sloppy.
There was a lot of, there was a lot of things
going on with that movie, but I don't think Anthony Mackey
was one of them, and I don't think the character of Sam
was one of them. I do think that you give him the damn
super soul, the serum, though. I do.
I do I'm not even kidding I think that like I get it with the whole movie's the best with him being able to do without it but it's like you're fighting aliens and other things and people with superpowers and it's like and and I said this about the serum the point of the serum wasn't like oh you needed it to be in order to be good no remember what the what Stanley tochi told Steve it makes a good man great yeah right it makes a bad man worse Sam is a good man it'll make him great given him so
That's what I kind of hope that they would do, but they're not going to do that.
They're not going to give them any heels.
So, you know what I did watch, though, and I binged it over the course of like two days with my daughter, I finished up, Cobur guy.
Nice.
Did you finish?
No, please.
I haven't even know.
I haven't even.
It was great, dude.
Yeah?
Yeah.
I sent a message.
I sent a message to the guys last night after I finished watching it.
And it's just such a great ending to, they knew exactly what it was.
they lean into. You talk about wrestling. I mean, it's got a lot of wrestling moments. There's some
great arcs. It stays as ridiculous as it's been going. You know, there's some ridiculous things and things
that people should either be arrested for.
They should all be in jail. Everyone. The fact that karate is like bigger than football and
but they lean into it, you know, and it just, it, the last two episodes are fantastic. They're
fantastic. Okay.
Um, so I really enjoyed it a lot.
And I thought the ending was spectacular.
The last episode was spectacular.
And really the, you could just tell it.
It, I said to my wife afterwards, I was like, it just, the reason I had to reach out and I wanted to DM the guys is because it was like, it's just such an accomplishment to pull off six seasons of television.
Um, and to do it in a way that you can tell you're still passionate about it.
And that you care about the characters and where there was a little bit, as you said, like the first couple of seasons.
everyone couldn't miss it and then when you get to that many seasons it's like okay i get it i get it but then
you hope that they deliver big because if i'm sitting to you going it was fine they should just ended it
years ago you you probably wouldn't be inclined to watch it right right but the reason why i
jump back on it is because from what i was i was worried about midway through the last this season
but i was kind of dragging my feet not because they didn't like it just because like okay you know
get to it and it's going to end and whatever but then everyone's like you got mccuga at
to me. He's like, he's like, you saw the ending, right?
I'm like, no, I'm watching. He's like, what? You got to see it.
And then all these people tell me how great it was.
And I was like, I was so glad that I watched it because I really, really enjoyed
watch it. I, and I chose that instead of watching the most recent episode of Severance.
So, but I, but I dug. I dug.
All right, I'll get on it. All right. I'll get on it. You should check it out.
I think you'll enjoy it. Okay. So I think that's the majority of everything here.
Is there anything that's coming out?
No, I think those are the big, the big stories right now.
So we'll get into the questions because John's trying to get himself to the number this week to beat everybody else.
But before we get to that, I will tell you real quick, I don't know if you guys know, but if you don't, you should.
And that, of course, is our friends over at NordVPN.
If you don't know NordVPN, NordVPN is a great, great experience for me.
What I've been using it now for quite a bit.
And the best part about it is if you're watching sports, if you're watching TV shows,
if you're watching films that aren't available in your region by switching your virtual location
to a country which is showing the event.
You can protect your private data like bank details, passwords, online identity.
NordVPN, it switches your virtual.
location allowing you to save money by purchasing flights, hotels,
subscriptions from other countries at a cheaper price.
So it is the fastest VPN in the world.
There's no buffering.
There's no lagging while streaming.
It stops your ISP bandwidth, throttling.
It's really great.
The good part about NordVPN is it can be used.
The account can be used up the 10 devices, which is great.
Now, if you want to get the best discount off your NordVPN plan,
you go to NordVPN.com slash KH show.
And our link will also give you four extra months on the
two-year plan. There's no risk with Nord's 30-day money-back guarantee. The link is in the podcast
episode description. So that's it. So make sure you check out NordVPN.
All right, John, you ready to do this? Yeah, I love it. I'm a big fan. I have NordVPN.
Just to underline it, we love to watch stuff from the UK, from Australia, from other places.
NordVPN. So smooth. It updates quickly to get you on board. And then you're watching stuff.
literally it takes a couple of minutes and you're locked in.
They lock into wherever, whatever country you want to watch stuff from,
like within seconds.
And as long as you've got everything set up for yourself to watch that content,
you are good to go.
So highly, highly recommend NordVPN.
It's the best.
Simon section.
Right.
Oh, you know, before I even do that, John.
Yes.
Tell us what you got going on in your channel, my friend.
Hey, you know, it's the outlaw nation.
Thank you all so much for who have subscribed to the last few weeks.
really appreciate it. Great to see the numbers going up here. Please head on over there. I'm going to be
live tonight. Probably on five or six for a couple of hours talking about the Blake stuff,
a little bit of the DC stuff, a little bit of Star Wars stuff, whatever else is going to break here.
Probably a tribute to Roberta Flack, who we sadly lost today. And then we got geek buddy stuff
coming again. Two shows this week on Wednesday and Friday. We got the hot mic.
Certainly going with me and Jeff. Certainly we got ourselves a situation going on with Jedi
now with this and or trailer drop. So we'll probably have an episode of that. And my old,
my regular stuff going on there as well.
So head on over there, YouTube.com slash John Roka says.
Thank you.
All right.
So let's now start.
Yeah.
We can start with Simon's section.
Christian,
correct me if I'm wrong.
But didn't you say you and Sam's reaction to Sam Ramey's Spider-Man?
It was premiering last Saturday.
I had my single guy taco breakfast ready to digest and watch a long,
but you burst my bubble.
No, no,
no.
I said Sam needed a little bit of a break because we put out the Nosephratu thing on Friday.
Saturday I put a squid game episode three out.
today I put episode four out for Squid Game.
And then tomorrow is the reaction for Sam Ramey's Spider-Man.
And then Friday will be Spider-Man 2.
So that, yeah, we're back to Tuesdays and Fridays right now
while we get our schedules locked up.
So no, we didn't, we didn't do Saturday because I just knew that she wasn't going to be
able to be in there in time because we only had gotten that one,
they only got end game in there when she came in the last session.
So, yeah, so yeah, we had to put that out there.
but I'm glad that you're looking forward to it that way, Simon.
I appreciate it.
Derek, if R2D2 was there the whole time and his memory was intact,
how comes he never laid out the whole story to Luke?
Easy.
Plot holes.
There's tons of those.
Derek Johnson.
Feels like Ryan is at the mercy.
Is at mercy his wife is on this?
He's got to know this still damage her brand in MCU Disney movies.
Doesn't like, Disney money doesn't like controversy.
They should have settled this and would have been forgotten about a few months.
Apparently, again, I don't know how much of it is true of what you hear, but they wanted to settle.
And at this point, Justin's like, no, no, no, we ain't settled.
Neither one of them wants to settle.
Neither one of them wants to say they think they're right.
They both issue, they both went to the judge and said, we do not want to mediate.
Oh, that would it is?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, it's going to be ugly.
It is because they're going to reveal text messages, emails.
I don't think this goes.
It's supposed to go to trial next year.
I don't think it's going to happen.
I think eventually they're going to settle, but they want to all posture and puff their
chest out for a bit so that's what we got yeah it's kind of good ugly all right let's see support there from
derrick thank you derr those ideas how's it going gents what do you guys think of rock wanting cody's
soul i'm hoping cm punk takes the offer and we get corporate punk as a heel turn the rock punk is a
look, I love that idea of the rock and punk together.
It was the two old vets,
but the question can, you know,
can they get it out of each other's way?
And to be fight,
look,
to fight,
to be on the same page together,
talking shit together would be great.
And then you set up for them eventually to fight one another
in like an old man match would be great.
But I,
I'd prefer that.
But I also,
I just don't understand.
Rock made such a big deal last year.
And he was,
he wanted to hijack,
all of WrestleMania last year to do him versus Roman.
And now everybody wants him versus Roman and they're not doing him versus Roman.
I don't get it.
It's because it won't mean anything.
They haven't built anything up about being in control of the.
You've got two months to do it.
You got two months to build up an angle with him and Roman.
Start now.
I guess, but he's focusing on Cody because Cody has the bell because you know why?
Because the rock loves the main spotlight, baby.
It's all ego.
This is all ego.
The rock shouldn't have come nowhere near this.
Let it go.
Go to your board meetings, handle your stuff, make your billions.
You don't need to be down here anymore.
Stop coming down to hang out with the workers.
Stop it.
Stay up and you are corporate.
Be corporate.
You come down the workers, you mess everything up,
and you leave bad feelings all over the place,
which is not good for morale in your business.
Yeah, it's.
Just Chris, Chris, try to play in the Smodown.
After a few seasons, he was done.
I didn't want to.
I knew.
I only did I kept playing this.
The only complaint is because I got I I kept wanting to lose.
You watch my face when I play Snyder and they asked me a question I knew.
And I was like, come on.
I was hoping I was that was a one time.
Remember that's so clear.
I remember sitting at that table going,
to ask me something.
I don't know.
And because it was because it was scores and soundtracks.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thank you, Jose.
Hank Pimp,
Yeat, heading to the Raw show tonight in Cincinnati.
What the heck was that promo with the rock?
I want your soul.
the Rockney's promo classes.
Who would have said that about him, though?
How dare you?
But, you know, after who, he, he doesn't.
He's one of the best of all time.
Yeah.
Like, that was, it was, I didn't understand what was going on.
The narrative was so weird.
He kept repeating the same thing going back and forth.
And like, I want your soul.
Is it was like, it was?
No one knew what it was.
It wasn't built from anything.
It's like, think about it.
Think about what?
Nobody knows, Cody doesn't know what the hell you're talking about.
Yeah.
And Cody trying to think on the fly.
deal with whatever the rock was i mean i felt so bad for him man he was just like i don't what you want
my soul what is that right and he's got to do it because this is his boss um thoughts on what punk's
favor is from haman um i think um you think that you think that punk you think that haman will wind
up um managing him during uh ressleman if they do the triple threat it'll be hayman sabotaging roman
to help punk. I think that would be what it would be.
Okay. Yeah.
I mean, then you take that angle further with, but I mean,
it's just my, my problem with, if punk was 38 years old,
yeah, I'd say, sure, then do this all day long. Who cares? Right.
I mean, knock on wood, he came back from his injury and hasn't been hurt since.
Right. But that could change tomorrow.
Mm-hmm. And if he loses out on the main event,
and WrestleMania again on the main event.
I don't know.
I think him and Cody could be a great program.
I really do.
If you had a thing on the fly,
what if it's Roman who surrenders his soul,
goes heel,
goes with the rock.
Roman again,
though,
heal again.
You know,
he's just punk versus,
punk versus Rollins again.
Is that boring?
Rollins you're saying,
not Roman.
No,
no,
I'm saying punk and Rollins
now would set up a match
between the two of them
because that's he's been going on for months.
It just seems to a lot of appealing matches.
we've seen a million times over.
I don't know.
There's nothing really too exciting right now.
Nathan Drake,
and our season two trailer looks great,
but that music took me out of it completely.
Just a horrible choice.
I thought it was a joke trailer at first.
Yeah, it didn't fit.
In the beginning,
I was like,
oh, that's interesting.
And then with the,
I just,
when lyrics and stuff of this,
someone said it didn't seem like a Star Wars trailer,
I don't agree with that
because there was a lot of Star Wars in there for sure.
But I can't disagree that you can start to kind of look around
going,
what am I watching?
Because this music is so modern,
that it doesn't really feel
Starvedo. Yeah.
Yeah. Good point. Sure.
Cahed Okay, has both your personal
views of Ryan turned negative. I think John
always had a negative one of him.
It's not, no, because I don't have all the facts
yet. And I don't know, because you can
look at it in two ways. You could say there's
one scenario that here's a guy that
was jealous that his wife was maybe
catching feelings towards this dude
and wanted to get involved
and you control freak and wanted to do this
and sabotage all it. You can say
that we don't know if that's true the other thing you could say is hey here's a guy who was trying
to protect his wife as trying to make a joke out of it gotten caught up in all this stuff doesn't want
to be involved in it and it's trying to do everything he can to help yeah i don't know i don't know
i don't know what it is so it hasn't heard my i mean it because that's the thing is what i don't
want to do is that you see all the i i still think public opinion has swayed in just in beldoni's
favor. But that doesn't mean that because the public feels like, oh, he's the one that's in the
right. It doesn't mean he's in the right. Just means it's a public favor. Yeah, I don't think there's a good
person on either side of these things. And I throw Colleen Hoover in that mix as well, who's apparently
I'll tell you what she did that I don't. She moved all references to Blake and Ryan in her
Instagram. Here's here's the here's the, here's the, thing that I heard about. That, you know, he had the rights to
the property.
Hold on it.
Yes. Now the only thing
that would take out
the rights is if there was
sexual misconduct
on set.
100%.
That is filed.
And when that's filed, she doesn't
say anything and stand up for him who she was
standing up for in general.
I'm just saying again,
just, mm-hmm.
And my other thing is the guy seems
you know,
smart enough. Yeah.
That you're like,
he dummy.
what are you doing?
You just,
you knew that was a clause and he acted like a like a like a dirt bag.
You did that.
Yeah,
willingly.
I'm not saying that maybe he absolutely did do that.
But that would make him one of the stupidest humans on the planet.
100%.
100% of the stupid.
And even the people that have come out to defend like the Jenny,
the Jenny slate now is getting wrapped up into this.
She's getting exposed because people are like,
oh, you got mad because they got you $15,000 deposit for a New York department.
How privileged are you?
So this is not going to make no one is looking good coming out of any of this.
And it's just I don't understand the logic of not just settling,
taking a little bit of money,
and then moving on from this because it's going to blow everybody up.
It already is.
It's becoming exhausting.
And I think that again, like to here's where you don't have to do it because you don't do this.
I'm going to throw an apology to Jose from before here and two because when he,
when he threw in the conversation as far as like,
can we go back to talking about Marvel and DC?
You know, we were talking about Marvel.
I think what he really meant there, too, was,
this is exhausting.
And that's what he meant through.
You through the thing, I don't disagree with you,
Jose. It's exhausting.
You don't think DC or Marvel is exhausting and talk about either?
No, but I'm, but I'm just saying, though, this is exhausting.
And I can't imagine the people involved in it.
I don't, I don't want to see this anymore.
I don't want to see this anymore. I don't care anymore,
but yet it's everywhere.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
It's like, it's just a little good thing.
story. So, Jamie Rel. Cap 4 isn't a disaster. People keep saying it is. Do you mean monetarily?
Or do you mean the movie itself, quality-wise? Quality-wise, I don't disagree with you. Monetarily,
it's starting to look like a disaster. Yes. Yeah. Seattle CAO. Yeah, the revolution starts
now. Is that the music? Is that the music? That was, okay. Derek Johnson, the Rocks,
Mike skills are very clearly rusty. He just makes no sense. Everybody tries to DaVinci code his
promos instead of saying they're bad. This was a bad promo. Yes, it was. It was a bad promo because I think
that he knows, you know, because he just knows the audience loves him and that he can have some fun with them.
I don't, and maybe it's a dad in me, I think just because he's the boss doesn't mean that he should
just curse if it has no, it's like a comedian. It's like a comedian that like if you, if it works and you throw an
F-bomb in there and it elevates the joke from how you used it.
But if you just throwing F-bombs out there because you can,
why? There was a kid in the front row when he was doing it.
And I was like, are you doing attitude error type?
I thought you guys going back to PG style, make up your mind,
or just because you can do it.
Nobody else can do it.
And you're just throwing F-bombs out there because it's like, why are you doing that?
He never needed it before.
He was always great and never needed it before.
It adds nothing to what he's doing, literally nothing to what he's doing.
and you're right to call him Rusty, Derek.
I feel the same way. Yeah, and all these people are like,
oh, you don't get the promo. This is what he was really saying.
We all get it, but you just don't want to admit that your hero is making mistakes
because you just can't admit any of your heroes can make mistakes.
And this is bad. This is bad.
Moving good.
Jamie Rell, guys, tell me more, tell me more.
Mike, are you going to fix it? Tell me more.
Do we do, we do.
I love it.
Okay, next one.
Doug Developer, looking forward to Conan.
no one can rebound from a failed joke as well as he can.
That's true.
Surprisingly, another comedian who rebounds well as Carrotop.
Tarotop is a lot better than people give him credit for he.
I make Carrotop references all the time.
He's rich.
Carrotop is,
carotop did very well for himself,
let's say that.
But yeah, Conan doing the Oscar should be,
I mean, the guys,
he's epitome of what a host should be.
I agree.
Yeah.
Doug DeVolver, favorite C.C. Roaster.
No one tops Greg Geraldo.
He's pretty good, but I'm going to, I'm going to also, I mean, Jeff Ross.
Jeff Ross is the guy.
I like Zalnik.
Jazellnick.
Is brutal.
Oh, yeah, he is.
I don't know.
I don't, I don't, yeah, I don't, I, he's just a little too cold for me.
Yeah.
Okay.
He's a little too cold.
Like, Jeff Ross is, is like, can be savage, but he still feels like you want to, like,
you want to laugh with him when he's doing.
Yes.
Yes.
You know, you never really want to punch Jeff Ross.
Ewalk.
Which UFO is.
Are you more excited for?
Well, I don't necessarily know anything about them yet.
I like that David Grush is a consultant on,
on the second one.
Brookheimer one, yeah.
On the Brookheimer,
Kaczynski one, he's a consultant on it.
And I think what I hope happens is that there are a lot of people who are just
misinformed on this topic in general and think that it's still about people who
were, you know, drinking moonshine behind the thing going,
oh, I think I saw something in the sky.
There's so much more to that if you actually,
if people were educated and paid
attention to what was actually happening,
it's not just cuckoo stuff.
It's like there's, these are military people.
David Grush and what he did and what,
and you go and you look at his credentials
and the stuff that he did.
It's pretty,
it's pretty phenomenal.
And especially when you learn his story.
So we'll see,
David Grush being involved probably,
but then it's Spielberg.
on the other one, so I don't know.
I got breaking news for you.
I want to hear what you think of this.
You got.
According to Variety, this was about a few minutes ago.
Carla Sophia Gascon will be attending the Oscars.
Okay.
With Netflix paying for her to be there.
Paying for her travel, paying her expenses.
Now, details are still being finalized about whether she'll walk the carpet or do
interviews or sit near her co-stars, but she is going to be there.
Your reaction.
After all those tweets.
Well, I'm interesting.
I'm interesting.
I am interesting.
I'm interested because it's like there's one part of it where the fact that Netflix is paying is interesting.
That's just almost co-signing her tweets in a way.
Going to the award ceremony is you nominated for an award.
And they didn't kick Will Smith out after he slapped somebody in the face.
That's a good point.
So, you know, there's been a precedent set.
You can punch somebody in the face, but you can't tweet, even though it's bad tweets.
Yeah.
Can't tweet, but you can, you can slap somebody in the face.
And not only will we let you stay, we're going to give you a award and let you do a speech.
Yeah.
So, you know, if that's the case, that's the argument.
Now, Netflix paying afterwards, maybe they didn't want a lawsuit on their hands.
I don't know.
Maybe.
I'd rather pay the lawsuit than indirectly confirm that's okay.
that she put those tweets out. I don't know. There's no way that she's winning. No. Oh my god.
No way she's way. Um, so yeah, I don't want to show her on camera when they say her name. I know.
It's, it's going to be interesting. It's going to be more drama. There you go. EWalk, at this point,
I think lively's best option is to apologize to Baldoni, admit she misjudged the situation and
take a break, short break from acting. Yeah, you got it, you got a better shot of Mike
Kalinowski saying that Kevin Smith was a better inner geekdom player than you then you have that
happening or chandra there's no world there's no world she she mean she's like you know I will say this
for that previous question my opinion has definitely soured on her more oh yeah too many just too
many stories that have come out since too many this idea of it being some kind of planted
thing and an army of too nah man people grab suburb suburb
on social media and they love to be detectives yeah and discover all this stuff it is nothing to do with some kind of concentrated campaign against her there's been a lot of ill will torture over the years and it just all kind of coalesced here yeah
matt sinister mccall some ideas for movies and video games biopics for maryland manson oh no uh cobane and slipnott cobbin i'd like to say for sure games a new celebrity death match and new mortal combat racing
I'm racing would be crazy.
Someone's in the middle of driving.
He just pulled their larynx out.
Finish him.
Yeah.
Go pal.
I saw Strange Darling.
I like the unconventional approach and the leads,
even if Gowler will always be Beaver from Veronica Mars.
Did you see Strange Journal?
I hear good things about that movie.
Yeah, I heard some good things.
Why I did not get a chance to watch that one.
Yeah, but I hear good things, Go, pal.
He follows it up.
I like Willa Fitzgerald in Reacher season one and a tiny series called
Dear Me and the Scream TV adaptation,
in which she was lead.
I like her in season one as well.
You finished season three.
You loved it, right, John?
Yeah, absolutely, 100%.
I thought it was quite.
So much love for that one.
So I am, I do like her a lot.
I like to see her on more stuff.
I thought she was great in that season.
Nathan Drake,
Christian,
do you think a UFO film in the style you want,
like the Post would even make any money at the box office
or should it go to streaming?
Well, that's a great question.
And the answer to that is two things.
One, when it comes to
Steve and Spielberg's
movie, Spielberg movie, right?
So that's going to be a one up to where you
have a potential to get it in the theater, like a
post, like those other movies.
Who are your stars?
You know, Emily Blunt and other people, too, right?
How much is your budget?
That's the big question, right?
How much is your budget? And
if you can get, and the same thing goes for the
Kaczynski, I wonder
if that movie
with Grush, because
It's Kaczynski and Ruckheimer.
Tom Cruise getting a phone call?
Yeah, yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like,
and that doesn't,
and as I said before,
people just did not understand what I was saying the day.
I was talking about Tom Cruise.
Like,
I'll preface it with this.
Tom Cruise is maybe the biggest movie star in the history of the planet.
And he still is a movie star.
The,
the moniker of movie star is Tom Cruise.
No one's taking that away.
Right.
What I'm saying is the movie star itself alone,
does not sell tickets anymore.
Yep. Used to. Back in the day,
Tom Cruise is doing a movie. What is it? Who cares? It's Tom Cruise movie. Let's go see it.
That's what used to happen. Now, a movie store with a big IP or something interesting sells it, right?
Mission Impossible, Top Gun, those types of things that sells.
You can't just put, like Christopher Nolan is more of a movie store.
They sells tickets now than anybody else because it's the Nolan movie. What is it?
I don't know.
They're doing something with the Greeks.
All right, fine.
Sign me up.
I'm in.
But so I don't, I don't know yet how they would make the UFO film, you know,
what, if they're going to combine both things and how big they're going to make it.
So I do think you have a possibility depending on what you make.
I don't know.
What do you think?
It depends on, yeah, I think there's the, there is, as you said, a bit of a pushback
and stereotype on the people who, but that is changing.
So I think there's, if you do a really good movie, people,
are open to exploring it and giving it a chance. And more and more people are open to this possibility.
And look, we're about to have, which was announced today, which makes no damn sense to me,
but we're about to have a special congressional investigation into the assassination of JFK,
who died in 1963. And we're apparently going to open the doors, open the file. So you can't tell
me that that isn't full of a lot of cooks who think what happened here, a conspiracy. So if we're going to have
that, then I think the UFO stuff is going to be interesting to explore, and I'm down to see a...
But wait, let me challenge you on that for a little bit.
Okay, what do you want to challenge me?
If I can.
Sure.
So let's say that there was a way that this particular hearing is going to expose secrets
that have been out forever or have been hidden forever.
Okay, from people who are long dead, but yes, go ahead, yes.
Whatever, but it still continued, but it still continued down a program of CIA or whoever you think was involved in it that followed the same types of rules and followed these types of things in that the people who are long dead trained people who are not dead who and that mindset of what continues to happen.
You don't think you don't think it should be exposed.
You think that you should just let it let it let it let it lie.
I don't think it matters anymore.
And I don't think what am I going to find out?
The CIA was corrupt.
Did the CIA engage in possibly taking out a leader of a country?
Our country, not a country, our country.
Yes, and I know the CIA could do that at any time.
What do you think is happening?
You know, you don't want me to get down this road because we start.
I mean, because I mean, the two idiots they just put in charge of the FBI,
they're absolutely going to be doing the same kind of stuff.
So to me, I don't know that there's anything that's going to be solved beyond people who are going to be like,
oh, see, the government can do this, but we always knew the government can do this.
What are you going to do with the information now?
I mean, do you think this government is somehow unbiased and impartial now with these people in charge
of our intelligence agencies?
They're not.
And it's going to be even worse the other way, you know?
So I'm not sure what you're going to get out of opening the door to this because anybody
who did it is already long dead.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's my—
You get dissatisfaction, but no one's going to be punished.
But I think there's more to it.
I think there's more two with the net, but that's a longer conversation.
This is another one, I think.
I'd even charge.
Castro's dead, you know?
This is another one, I think, is just for your channel, but you can just say,
stay tuned or something.
My choice, Roka mentioned taking legal action against a certain until YouTube that's
been harassing him the other day.
Any luck with that?
No, no update on that yet.
I've met with two lawyers over the weekends.
Everything's still in motion.
We'll see what happens.
So that's it.
Beto power.
Whoever made the Andor trailer treated like a Michael Bay
movie in early 2000s horrible song choice but the images look amazing i couldn't agree
i totally agree i totally agree um all right next one carlton rudder london cullen
christian i sadly won't be able to join you for the patreon q and a my dad is very unwell i'm
sorry my head's somewhere else right now i you don't have to apologize at all yeah um that is uh
please please i completely understand that i'm sorry that your dad isn't doing well and
thoughts and in prayers with you carlton so yeah but we are if you guys we are
going to be doing the Q and A later, so we'll be, we'll be thinking about you. Nice. Yeah.
Raneh. Hi, fellas. What's up, Rona? Okay, just saw the Andar trailer and I loved it.
Was not loving the music. Why, why? They better kill it with the score like season one that I did not enjoy the music. What the hell. Yeah, it was a bad. It's, it's, it's a bad. It's, it's just, for me, what shows,
things are not going well with music is when I'm when I notice it yeah I really notice it and I'm
like wait why am I why am I so like when I was reacted to this just now when we were wrong it was jarring
I was I was I was I was like wait a minute why am I not just locked in because this music is blasting
in my ear with this guy screaming whatever the hell he's yelling and I'm like wait I should be
focused in on these images and it should have been a beautiful like a score which I see notice and it's
part of the actual experience that he i don't know why they do this and it's not just them and
and what people don't realize to sometimes sometimes it's true sometimes the director picks this
stuff but most times it's the trailer companies that they hire to do these trailers that do this
and stop this do you wonder who approved it you know what i'm saying you have to wonder who
approved it yeah um matt i'm sorry but the batman was three years ago now that's nuts
to hear reeves still hasn't turned in a full script is probably disappointing i don't know
I don't know when we're getting that movie.
What do you think?
2027?
Five years, yeah.
I mean, Gunn said that the other day.
Well, we waited five years for this and waited five years for that.
Why is everybody so upset?
And it's like, yeah, because you guys are dragging your feet.
I don't know.
But then again, there's stuff going on behind the scenes with Matt Reeves' personal stuff.
So you have to factor that into the equation.
So it's just timing.
Unfortunately, timing.
Andre, helping Roke out.
Also, Christian, why don't you see ad blockers when checking out articles riddle with so many ads?
When don't I use ad blockers?
It's too old.
I use it's expensive yeah I use it glad ex devastator just for roca just as for roca hashtag
i can't wait for the geek buddies to discuss the and our trailer i read that they are releasing
three episodes at a time is this wise this is what pl d had written me said right sure it written me
he wrote me and said uh anders being dropped in four blocks yep three episodes per week for four
weeks yep so that's kind of then that then that makes sense of how they're going to then we've
We've known that for months, PLD.
Try bringing in a news item that's special and fresh that people don't know about.
He's letting me know.
Thanks for showing up at him for last week.
He's like, by the way, news just in, the sun is hot.
Water is wet.
Mike Joyce, I visited the Shmodown, Reddit recently.
People talk fondly about it.
Did you ever get any weird fan mail when it was in his prime?
I mean, I'm sure.
But I mean, a lot of people who actually, you know, were very, a lot of love came from
weird never weird but certainly like wow you wrote a poem about the outlaw like
things like that they just they humble you in a way because you're like I would have never even
I love the rap song that law rap song oh yeah yeah that was great that was I used that for years
on my own that's great yeah no they were and it's funny but i spent a little bit of time this we can
watch in some matches so do you know what's time to get i'm glad that mike brought it up
because i would have forgot to bring this up over the weekend I got a
text do you know that collider wiped out like a great majority of content that we did there it's
it's not it's not on that channel anymore yeah um so schmodown is one of those things you can't find any
shmodown you can only find it on the schmodown archives channel like the original like 400,000 views
that you and uh dan merle did on that first match you can't find that match anymore but you can't
be you can find it you can find it on the archives channel all the archive but why do you guys take certain why do you guys
take out certain audio because like when i celebrated i watched the match when i beat dan again
and i when i celebrated there's like a whole 30 seconds copyright your answer oh okay okay
when we used to do it back in the day we yeah and collider i don't know how it just
those old songs never got copyrighted now once now they do so um but it doesn't matter anyway
because most that channel that channel just literally just sits there for people who for smote-down fans
I want to know who's making these decisions because people we know who are in the schmodown
or people we know who we worked with are still part of Collider.
So who is making these decisions to eliminate.
A lot of movie talk are gone.
A lot of Jedi councils are gone.
Like a lot of like there's tons of stuff that's gone.
They're more respectable now.
Is that what we're going for?
I don't know.
I think, oh, shoot.
I think all the one-on-one with Christian Harleves are gone too.
That's, they should have taken those out.
Dude, I sat there and downloaded all my stuff a few months ago because I started seeing where they were eradicating it.
They changed the name of the channel to something that doesn't reflect.
Let me see if I can reach out and try to get, if I can get those five.
They're not going to, I'm going to say upload them on my clips channel them.
Same here.
I'm going to start putting it my interviews and be like, yeah, they just blow out collider because it's ridiculous.
Dancing Dog 60.
Roka is correct.
Andy's going to get producer credit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That'll probably happen.
That's what they're going to do.
They're going to say, all right, take a walk, and then you're going to produce.
Andy Mochetti. Yeah, yeah. Al Paterson, after saving Marvel Studios 4, M,
Disney would be stupid to do, what is it? After saving Marvel Studios for them, Disney would be
to do two Ryan Reynolds, what they did to Johnny Taylor. Got it. Ryan never, yeah, I mean, I, I agree,
but it's just, you know, but the difference is this. There's no contract signed for Deadpool 4 right now,
is the thing. So, like, it would be one of these things where, like,
okay let's just not make a new deal about it's not like we're going to get rid of it we're just not
going to continue to go forward um okay next one now i already have issues with robert diane junior
coming back to the mccc for the next two avengers film but is doom if ryannezzles deadpool ain't in
him i won't see him that's fair okay that's you're right yeah that's right if that's if that's your
character that's your guy and you know and not in it and you have every right al i don't believe
you but yeah that's your right that's it day nap her gun
probably waiting to establish this DCU first but where is an elseworlds project what's the next
yeah well i mean doesn't you know i guess it's not else worlds because it's technically tied in but
both um both clay face and sergeant rock they're not really going to tie into the narrative they're
going to be in part of the DCU but not really that means sergeant rock you could argue could be an else
world even though there are connections to creature right those yeah
But I mean Clayface is going to be Batman so I don't know how that works.
I don't know how they're going to make that work.
Dancing Dog 60, the earlier MCU had weed in all over it and it worked.
I think hiring him to tighten up scripts would be a good idea for Marvel.
Possible or not.
Same thing we're just talking about before Ryan,
there's too much, there's too much dirt on him, right?
There's too many, he's got too much, too many problems right now.
Also, it's insulting that you think he's, that people think he's the only writer out there who could do that.
There's plenty of great writers that you can bring in to take a look at stuff and give it a bass.
Josh isn't some kind of miracle.
maker no and he didn't know it and he didn't do any you didn't do any justice for justice
yeah exactly yeah uh dixon cider how far is james guns contract it seems big how long you mean
does it go for yeah i think i feel like we had the answer to that wasn't it like was it three or
four years i thought yeah yeah the first four i thought it was 10 isn't it no i think it's like
four years unless unless they uh unless they resigned but it was like four years um
Um, okay. Next one after that again, thank you right now, John, you're at 70.
It's pretty.
I mean, that's a, that's, that's, that's, that's the, no, a really good day.
Uh, Ewa.
Kieran Culkin's SAG award speech was hilarious.
I bet it was.
Here's my problem.
I was having a conversation with my wife on the train about and I like Karen Kalkin.
I really do.
And I think you and I already had this conversation too, John.
It's that he's going to win the Oscar.
And I really don't think that he should.
I think that it should go to Edward Norton because I think Ed Norton did a very different
performance in a different person.
Karen Colkin was great in that movie, but he does what Kieran
Culkin does. He did the sarcastic. He did the same thing he did in the TV
show. He didn't do anything that to me was a better performance
than Ed Norton. I think Ed Norton should win for that one, but he won't.
Yeah, no. I think Ed Norton or Guy Pearce
did better. Guy Pearce too, yes, yes. Yeah. Yeah, people
just like Kieran. That's why they're going to give him the idea. They just
like him and they like his energy because, yeah, nothing he did in that film.
was nothing and i saw some people push back on that and i go you guys must be non-actors because you
have no idea what you're talking about because i will gladly go through succession and i will
give you similar scenes similar inflection similar facial uh similar delivery to certain lines
that are the mirror exactly what he did in that movie there is nothing just like just like uh
izenberg there's nothing izenberg didn't that boom of the end in other films so same to everything
danapper joel edgerton on for sergeant ron he's got he's got that been through some shit face
I love, look, you can, you can suggest Joel Edgerton for everything, and I'm probably going to say, yeah.
I agree.
He's great.
Mike Joyce, watching her highlight reel and excellent speech at the SAG Awards made me realize I should watch more Jane Fonda movies.
What's your favorite of hers?
Is that a Schmodeon thing?
It ain't paint your wagon, that's for sure.
Chibresh.
I still said I got it.
Yeah, her speech was great last night.
as she was,
I think she was given like the honorary thing that they do for actors.
But it was a beautiful speech,
very strong speech.
And typical Jane Fonda.
There's a lot of Jane Fonda,
Clute,
Barbarella.
I think they shoot horses,
don't they?
And then of course,
paint your wagon.
There's a lot of great stuff from Jane Fonda.
If you had nine to five,
I mean,
watch your stuff there.
She's great.
You know,
she's always been a strong,
strong actress.
This is,
this is going to be a fun conversation.
Hank Pim,
who is this PLD jerk?
Why is he hate Roca?
PLD is a producer on the show.
And he is.
He's a producer on the show.
He does.
And him and Roca have had Schmodeon beef
since the old school days.
There's always the fan who never did anything,
who wants to ride the coattails
of the person who is much more successful
and famous and good at what he does.
And they can't do it being a nice guy.
They have to do it being an A-hole.
And that's who PLD is.
And so what can you do?
He's a little man.
He's an angry little man.
He wrote terrible questions for a wrestling back and forth with me and Aaron.
And so I just, I feel bad for him.
You know, I just feel bad for him.
But I do like to ride him a little bit because he can take it.
I would love to see him written a few times in life.
Go ahead.
Yeah, what's going to do me a favor.
This is the time that if you're ever going to throw a super chat in,
you've got to defend yourself.
Yeah, defend yourself.
Take a big one.
The revolution starts now, Steve Earl,
in 2004.
Oh, that was a song?
All right on.
Okay.
Hank Pim.
Brighter future, Margaret Qualley or Mikey Madison?
Wow.
Margaret Qualley.
They both have good careers.
They're both kind of good careers.
I think Quiley screams a little bit more, has a little bit more star power.
Here's what I'll say.
Mikey got nominated.
Margaret didn't.
So, yeah, but we both agree that she should have.
Well, fair.
but like you did.
True. Mike Joyce, loved
music slash hope. It's
last we see the best star though.
Yeah, I hope it's the last
we see the best star though. Yeah.
Keep dreaming. I know,
I know. Uh, Day Knapper.
Star Wars is back, baby. We'll see.
We'll see. I mean,
you know, it's one, it's one show.
Hopefully then, but this is, look at
if Daredevil hits and
end of our season two hits,
will the powers it be that are
up at both of these companies say,
this is what people want to see right now.
They want to see a little bit more darker,
you know,
locked in,
well-written shows and movies.
Or are they going to keep going to the same kind of dribble that they've been,
well,
you know,
George says that we had to do it for,
it's got to be for kids.
And it's what it always was.
It was for kids.
So let's do it.
And it's like,
no, Dave,
you don't have to do it like that all the time.
That's why I don't blame what's her face
who did an acolyte because I think they all went in there.
She wanted to do a dark film,
a dark series told from the Sith,
point of view that would have really messed some people up, essentially
Cobra Kai, showing you the other side of it.
And I think they went in there and changed it all around and made it this touchy-feeling
young adult nonsense that it became.
That's a read about that in the book.
Yeah.
EWalk.
Interesting to read that the original cast of The Brutelist was Joel Edgerton,
Marion Cotard, and Mark Rylent in place of Brody, Jones, and Pierce.
Really?
Wow.
I didn't know that.
Oh.
Still a damn good cast.
I agree.
Great cast.
I'd like to see both of those versions.
By the way,
speaking of both these versions,
I didn't,
I guess it's because I just were doing,
we just did the endgame reaction.
So now it's popping up on my algorithm,
certain things.
But like the,
I never saw the deleted scene where,
right before the Black Widow and,
and Clint's scene when like Thanos and his thugs come.
I've never seen that before.
Never knew that exactly.
Yeah.
When they,
I'm glad that they cut it out.
It completely takes away from the moment.
But I didn't even know that exists.
I thought it was a AI thing at first.
I'm like, oh, this is really.
Yeah.
It overwhelms the scene.
You're right.
It's really does.
Derek says, Roka doesn't set the bar.
He is the bar.
Hey, Derek.
Derek, respect.
Thank you, Derek.
Snyder, DCU source wrong on Battenson for the DCU.
Well, he never said that a source told him that
Battenson was going to be, or Patenson was going to be the
Batman he said that his feeling his energy his vibe from what he is hearing was that it and it
didn't make sense to him that patinson would not be Batman why would you have two Batman's why
confuse the audience this has always been Jeff's point of view that it's it's his portion of
view that he thinks two Batman's make no sense in the DC universe so I don't necessarily
disagree with I think it's a lot it's pretty confusing a casual audience Shane Joel I don't
love the and our music but it shows this is clearly different than the other shows
and how confident they are in it. Sure.
It did. I mean, the stuff that they did in between with the,
with the critic stuff and all that, great.
I love that. It just, like I said, I just,
I wanted to be locked into the story and the images and I was too concerned about
how much I didn't like the music.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay. Let's see. Next one.
And we are going to get to Laitya yada.
Did SNL have another, a new episode?
No, I don't think so.
I didn't see anything new.
Um, no, I didn't.
Okay.
They've been a lot of specials, right?
Yeah, there's been a lot.
Yeah.
Okay.
Next one here, too, John, 73.
73 today, not bad at all.
Good. Roxy coming on the morning.
I don't know how long rocks are going to be on the show tomorrow because the shows now,
we started at, you know, 11 a.m. PST now.
That's the new time for the show.
Yeah.
And so we'll see.
Hopefully she can be on for more than an hour, but that's,
oh, okay.
We're going to find out.
Maybe she can be.
Maybe she can't.
We'll find out.
She might have to go to another day or something?
No,
she just,
her schedule is limited.
And she can't,
she couldn't move it.
So Matt,
without spoilers,
I'm glad the Cobra Kai finale
stayed true to it,
really being Johnny's show and not Daniels.
Agreed.
Agreed.
They really,
I mean,
especially when you see where it goes,
it kind of needed to be.
And there's some stuff that happens with Daniel
that I was like,
oh,
I never thought I'd see that.
And it was amazing.
So,
it was good.
I came out.
A lot of people saying Zapka.
could get a nomination for an Emmy.
That's kind of surprising.
Homer Rectus, what are your thoughts on censorship?
It depends on what do you mean?
You censorship, like, how?
It's kind of a vague question.
I'm a fan of it.
If I don't like what you're saying, I want to censor you.
Well, it depends.
I mean, it depends on what?
Like, if you're talking about it when it comes to,
if you're on Twitter, if it's your Twitter,
you know, and it's like, in you're censoring people saying,
hey, you tell, like, look, I don't like,
look, I don't like John and Mike tweeting all the damn time.
I can't tell them not to.
It's not me.
And it's like,
I can choose not to look at their Twitter,
but it's his Twitter.
It's their Twitter.
They can do whatever the hell they want.
So censoring that way is,
is one thing,
right?
The other thing is like,
I always talk about like this here.
Like this is our store.
And it's like if you come in here and you're just like arguing or being like
difficult to be difficult and just being a dick to people and just
trying to stir. I like positivity being here. Like if there's positivity in here and that doesn't
take away from actual, you know, like criticism and stuff, but if you're just being a jerk to be a
jerk, then then if you feel censoring is, hey, it's time for you to take a time out or maybe
enough is enough. It's time for you to go away now. Then sure. I like the self-censoring.
Yeah. Have you noticed there's no PLD comments for the last five minutes.
He has censored himself. Jake asks, for MS.
you shows you could just have
Sam React review to one of the longer
recap videos on YouTube.
There are some good ones. You could fill in gaps
questions. She would get the gist so you
can keep doing movies.
I mean, that's not a bad idea.
The ones I would do that for is probably like
Hawkeye
and
Ms. Marvel and
She-Hulk and those
those are probably the ones I would do the recaps for it.
They have those. Bruce.
Sorry for not always donating. I broke.
Don't apologize at all.
I have no close friends and really see you feeling about your YouTube channel.
Keep me going.
Thank you, Bruce.
I listen to daily and I wouldn't be here without you.
Much love and thank you for having.
Thank you.
It was very kind of you, Bruce.
I really appreciate it.
I'm glad that you're able to be here,
and I'm glad that we can bring that kind of happiness.
And hang in there, Bruce.
I've been broke many times in my life, brother.
You just never know what can happen if you just keep, you know,
kind of plugging away.
100%.
Yeah, you see the doors open up.
So don't be down on yourself, father.
And thank you very kindly for this.
G from space.
Thoughts on the end of our season to release schedule.
Three episodes a week for four weeks.
So I'll tell you why I like it.
They said this at celebration.
Why is this news?
I'm so confused.
All right, go ahead.
I'll tell you why I like it.
Even if there is,
even if they did say it.
Because he didn't,
look,
this person didn't say when they said it.
He's asking in general.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I like it because last season,
they did three.
episode blocks of like a storyline.
So essentially what they're going to be doing is the same thing,
I assume, and say like, okay, three episodes a week.
You're going to go boom, boom, boom, here's angle, here's angle one,
here's angle two, here's angle three, here's angle four.
Now, it means that you're going to binge, you're basically going to be watching,
you're watching a movie every week.
You're watching a full movie.
So I like it.
I still like week to week personally, but
we're going to get the angles for those episodes for a week to week to week.
It's just, to me, the only reason I don't 100% like is I don't like the idea that the show will be done in a month.
I think the show should be a pop culture of zeitgeist.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
We're like figuring out what the clues are.
Now everything's going to be something.
And by the way, every one of those weeks is one year.
Because remember, we're four years away from Rogue One.
And Gilroy made it very clear that the second season was going to lead us right up to that the beginning of Rogue One.
So each of those blocks is one year.
So we're going to be jumping in time one year every week.
So that's going to be an interesting thing to experience.
I hope they get it right.
I hope they get it right.
Me too.
Armana,
hope that Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 and 3 picks up.
Oh, it does.
It does.
Trust me.
Also, love the new episode of Severance.
I'm here for the squid game reactions.
Thank you.
Well, Armada, you and seven other people are here for the squid game reactions,
and I appreciate it.
But we put up a new one today.
And then season three does pick up for Cobra Kai.
And I'll be finishing severance for sure.
Kenya King.
Have you seen the first official image of He-Man?
Which one?
There's the one that came out, I guess, today.
The sword looks great.
That's the first thing I would have seen.
I would have been excited.
But instead, I saw him on standing next to two cops on Earth.
And I was like, oof, terrible.
Yeah.
Terrible.
RQMDSMD.
The great show, enjoying the topics and conversation.
Thank you.
That is very kind of you.
I appreciate that.
I'm glad that you are.
I am to fly cam.
There's a lot of DC news.
Will you guys be going live over it today, Roka?
Miss Miliotti looked amazing at SAG.
Wow, Penguin is still getting awards as it should.
Yes.
You guys good for which?
We'll talk about it on Wednesday morning, the geek buddies,
but I will probably go live later today to dive into more of it.
So come and find me on my channel, the El Al Nation there to talk about it.
Joey Pedrus.
It ends with us seems like way too mediocre movie to ruin your career for.
The whole thing is bonkers.
Yeah, also remember, though,
Regardless of mediocre or not, the movie made a lot of money for what it was.
And so when there's a lot of money involved in it, plus the fact that the guy had the rights to the movie, there's a lot, there's a lot of monetary reasons for them going after each other.
And because Justin is more of like a no name compared to Blake lively and Ryan Reynolds, the fact that he's not being paying for any lawyer fees, by the way.
No, the billionaire guys behind him 100%.
Right.
And I think it's like a kind of a stance against Hollywood, too, is what this one of is.
these things too. So, uh,
Jacob Tizano went to see Cap again.
When the Superman trailer came on, everyone went
silent and clapped at the end. This movie's going to be a
cultural phenomenon.
I think so.
I think it's got a good shot to make a billion.
It's got a good shot. I think of all the movies,
it has the best shot to make a billion.
I'm going to come out this year in terms
of superhero stuff. Superhero stuff?
Yes.
I agree. And James
they're working on a second trailer, so I'm looking forward to seeing that.
Me too.
Tronan I know this is an unpopular opinion but I haven't enjoying AEW more than
WWE even the death writer stuff is starting to get better with Copeland I
I don't have enough of an opinion on it because I haven't seen stuff I have what I
will say is I've seen less botches from AEW on social media lately yeah I
agree with that I think that Moriah Mae Tony Storm stuff is just it's it's run
its course I don't know why they turned her crazy to attack Tony just so exhausting
I didn't know which was worse the Rocks promo or that that that
whole sequence because Mariah should be more of the frustrated person who can't get the
belt back for months, then go crazy. I don't understand turning you crazy in one week. It's kind of
dumb. Yeah. Um, okay. NLSFC 96. I have no interest in the Oscars this year. With
Amelia Perez and June getting snubbed. I just feel the academy is out of touch. Agreed.
Wait, Emilio Perez got 13 nominations.
He's saying, with Amelia Perez in general and Dune getting snubbed.
Oh, okay.
I just feel like that at a touch.
Careful.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I feel like that it is absolutely, yeah, yeah.
I told you.
I've said it many times over.
I think that the Critics' Choice Awards is the only one that should really count.
Yeah.
Hank Pam, in honor of the monkey,
what is your favorite possessed item in a movie show?
Also, really enjoyed the monkey.
Bonkers movie, better than long legs.
I know I missed that screen.
Did you see it?
No, no.
Jeff said it wasn't good, so I don't know.
Oh, really?
Yeah, but I'll probably go see it sometime this week.
A possessed item?
Oh, what's your favorite possessed item in a movie TV?
Where was that?
Is that the last one?
The first question.
Oh, thank you.
Oh, thank you.
Possessed item, I don't even know.
I wouldn't even know.
I guess Chuckie wouldn't Chuck to be?
Oh, Chuckies are great.
That's great.
That's great.
Okay, I'm going to steal Rokers.
That's a great one.
I have Chuck.
He's up there.
Mogero, keep being a heel, Roka.
With all these supertops, maybe Christian can hire me as a clip editor.
I do need a clip editor eventually, but not right now.
Let's have that here.
Shorts and stuff.
Oh,
I'll take somebody who wants to do shorts.
Yeah.
Tom Gunn.
Spielberg always wanted to direct a bond film.
This might be his chance to check it off his bucket list, which, which, oh, if he's going
to do it, I mean, maybe.
Amazon.
Yeah.
You could see that potentially happening.
But again, then you're, what kind of budgets are you going to start working with there?
What did you think about Amazon taking full control, John?
What was your, what was your lesson?
I felt like it was coming already.
So I wasn't 100% surprised.
That being said.
I'm sad about it
because it's pretty clear that they just
browbeat these two older people
into eventually giving in and they finally
hit a number that it was like enough for them
to go, you know what, fine, we'll take a billion dollars
between the two of us
and we'll just take EP credits
so we'll still be making some residual income
on the franchise but we're going to go off
and do other things because one of them I think Michael's 83
Barbara 63. They just want to
probably just go off and do other things and not deal with the
Amazon brass. So
it's a shame. I think they are going to
to dilute the product. I don't really trust Amazon
to be on top of quality with some of this
stuff. And yeah, we're going to
see like young James Bond Chronicles or
the Tumbo-O, so we'll see. But
hopefully Jeff mentioned like maybe
Christopher Nolan, they waived Christopher Nolan and they had
him the franchise, so he's essentially
the fighting of James Bond.
No way. No chance.
Dancing Dog 60. Agree with Roca,
Bongholio is a menace.
Yes.
You know what that is.
Josh Needle.
No idea how.
anyone still cares about the Baldoni lovely Hollywood drama I watch actors for what they bring to screen not their personal life yes well that's but that's
essentially the problem here though Josh is that I don't disagree with you like I'm tired of it I see it everywhere but then it is bleeding into
the stuff like you look at it where it's the power structure of it and it does in in maybe hurt the quality of it like if you're if you are a fan of that particular book now maybe you're not Josh right of the the book this lives was those calls this lies
with us is that what it was called this ends with us this ends with us um so this ends with us the book comes
out you're a big fan of it and they want to go a particular way Justin gets a hold of it wants to do it
has his way to do it hires Blake lively to do it Blake lively then decides that she she really wants
to get involved more and she starts throwing her star power around and starts to get involved more
and even said on the carpet at one point he's like they asked him are you going to come back for
for number two he's like yeah I don't think I'm the right guy for it he's like I think
Blake is ready to direct.
And this is when they were completely not getting along at all and all these different things.
And that does start to affect the quality of the things that you like and the stuff that you are bringing to the screen.
Because if she would have focused potentially on just doing the role that she was hired for and not strong arming people to get the, because she wanted the, you know, the, she essentially did what Ryan, Ryan did on Deadpool.
Right?
Yeah.
Where Tim Miller go?
Tim Miller was the director and then just disappeared.
She tried to do what Ryan did.
And look, that's not a question.
She brought in Ryan and Ryan's Deadpool and Wolverine editors to edit a new version of the film without Baldoni's permission to try to take control of.
This is what I mean?
This is this all boils down to the fact that she wanted control this franchise because she probably feels inadequate because Ryan is definitely the bigger star.
She's jealous about it.
None of her lines have blown up like Jessica Alba's lines or, you know,
you know, other brands, Jessica Simpson's lines.
So she was jealous that she's lesser than with all of these people.
And so here was an opportunity to see thought that she could turn this into a franchise for herself.
But she had to get rid of Justin.
How do you get rid of Justin?
You possibly trump up a sexual harassment charge in order to violate the part of that contract so that you can remove him.
You're good friends with Colleen.
You and Ryan have money.
You'll buy the rights from Colleen.
And then you'll take over and you'll sell.
Again, that's that and that's you.
That's what I think would happen.
That's what I think happened.
You think that did happen.
I won't go, I won't go that far because I don't know, I don't, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know that.
We don't have all the details yet to say that.
I mean, I don't know what's that.
It's the ego.
It's all about Hollywood.
I know, but I still think you need more.
That's a strong, that's a strong claim.
Yeah.
I know.
I would, I would say you need to hear some more stuff before that claim comes.
That's fair.
Can I, can I read something real quick?
Sure.
So in 2023, in Entertainment Weekly, as they were covering.
as they were covering Star Wars celebration in June,
here's what they said.
And or season two will also spend several years.
And Gilroy said there will be four time skips,
each covering about a year,
and that it will be broken into multiple,
into multi-episode blocks with a first time jump
comes between season one finale, season two.
Right, that's different.
But that's different from what they're saying.
There's a difference.
Yeah, but how you're shooting it and four-time blocks,
but how you're releasing it.
That's what they're talking about.
That's what he said.
We're releasing it four episode blocks.
Read what you just wrote back.
No word does he say we're releasing it that way.
There will be four time skips, each covering about a year.
The second season will be split into multi-episode blocks every week with the first
jump coming between season one and the season two for now.
Right.
But it doesn't necessarily say where he said it will be released there.
It kind of insinuated attitude, but like it's Disney saying this is how it's being released.
But yes, they did talk about how that's being shot.
for sure uh go pal the way rock curses and fast and furious was odd to me too yeah i don't know he
likes the curse i know it means uh he doesn't it's not natural it doesn't need uh n lfc 96
i agree with christian we need to uncover to see really what happened and the true history is
in the history books crazy but the c a was involved i know what i'm saying like i that
was shocking that you said that john because i don't trust these people to want to find the truth
because i don't trust them i don't trust anna paulina luna of all people
Reggie Brown. I wouldn't trust the JFK files coming from this government.
Exactly. I don't trust. They're going to, they're going to redact all kinds of things to say.
I will say this about Luna, outside of, outside of everything else that you're talking about with their politics.
When it comes to the UFO topic, right, she is handling it very well.
I'm going to give her flowers on that. She is.
What do you mean you disagree? You don't even know what you know. How do you just watch the clips, buddy?
What did she do with the last hearing that was better than what any other senator did?
There's always an end goal here of trying to destroy trust in the government.
Their angle is, let's go with this thing and claim that the government has been lying to the American people.
And what's the ultimate point is because they want to destroy the pillars of government so that an autocrat can come in and take control, like he's taking control now, of all the departments of the government,
because we all need our orange daddy to walk us by our hand that's what the end goal is here christian that's
why i don't buy it and i get your point before he was in before he was back in power but before he was
back in power she was still handling the subject very very well yeah he was complaining the whole time
that he wanted back in power this has been a plan for for years we can we'll talk about some of the
time yeah we'll again john ashford hi all thoughts on the just announced marvel slash dc comic crossover
coming again. Are they prepping for
movie crossovers? It'd be a great deal
if they've able to somehow, if you had
Kevin Feigy and James Gunn sit down together
and then, because who's
holding that back right now? Because
if they were able to get, you got some
kind of deal, right? Because if
Sony and Marvel was able to do it,
imagine if you could get
a freaking, after
about 10 years. Yes.
You do like an X-Men and Batman thing? It'll never
happen. But Marvel needs to come back
and DC needs to establish
itself and that way they're both on equal footing and then you do the crossovers because you can't
have one trying to help the other that's going to look bad fans will be pissed if you have them
equal crossing over i mean the avengers versus the justice league or the x-men versus the
justice league that's exciting so yeah you i would love to see it you know batman or superman
crossing over with uh with spider man or something so yeah a hundred percent i think they want to do it
and fagie and gun who know each other well can make it happen if they're still in charge
It's curious.
Julius Wyatt finally watched anore yesterday.
Hope it wins best picture.
Easily my second film,
favorite film of the year behind June.
Can't wait for the Cinefiles Oscars, John.
When are you doing that one?
Saturday.
We're doing our live award show Saturday at 1 p.m.
on the Cinefiles YouTube channel,
PT, and we will be breaking down the award show.
We will be telling people,
because you can vote by joining the Cinefiles Patreon.
You can join for free and still get to vote,
and your vote will be counted.
And we do the award show there on Saturday.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
Space Jesus.
So,
Space,
you want a Rock to be the one
to give the Ula follow to solo
after WrestleMania.
Rock messes,
Rock mess up reigns,
Royal Rumble Chance and reveal he had been running
Bloodline in his absent,
cast him out,
main event,
WrestleMania for full control.
It would be great.
It would have been great.
I don't know why they didn't do something along those lines.
This Cody's storyline is bizarre so far.
But maybe they change it on you.
Maybe it gets better.
I don't know.
We will see.
next one and this is from jambi roka please resurrect enterprise incidents with manz what the hell is that
that isn't mine that's step and scots i don't have anything to do with that brother so it's hard
and nothing to do with that man's supposed to come on the show soon i talked to him the other day
uh pl d roca is unlikely i didn't crap in his cowboy hat if he is the bar it's a low one for the
other co-hosts to clear.
That's the best he's got, though.
I mean, who would, I do?
I know that PLD has crapped in people's hats before.
He seems like the kind of high school bully that would do that.
And certainly he's a large male, so you're going to allow him out of him.
Be nice.
And I am the bar.
Dancing Dog 60.
I think Roka rocks, smart and insightful always.
I almost said sucks, but that's not what you're up.
Suck it, PLD.
Yeah.
Um, okay.
We got some more.
we are at 75 John
as we're moving to line on our first
show at the new time and
let's see where is the next one

so now we have just
done um
oops
uh
so we just here you
I love you Karen
PLD said a
Hey, I lost 70 pounds.
65% of it was in your hat.
He would get near my head.
All right.
Would be shaken too much.
Do me favor.
Tell them where to find you.
