If you've ever wondered what combat actually feels like, not the headlines, not the movies,
but what it was like to be there. This is combat story. I'm A.J. Peschuti, a retired force recon
marine and scout sniper, and this show is for anyone who wants to understand the human side of war,
through the people that lived it. I sit down with veterans from across generations and
special operators, pilots, infantry, law enforcement, and everyone in between. And we talk about
the moments that stayed with them, the missions that went right, and the ones that didn't,
and what it costs during and after. There's no script and no agenda, just real conversations
between two people who've walked similar paths. We're not here to create content, we're here
to provide context. So whether you've worn the uniform or just want to understand those who have,
watch, listen, and follow us wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to Combat Story. Hello everybody.
welcome back to the show.
We got something going on here today.
Johnny Depp, and you got some talks about coming back to Pirates.
Interesting.
Don Boyega talks about Star Wars.
Again, Wednesday, season two, having some really big numbers in general.
And will there be a weapons prequel film?
That and so much more on the show here today with myself and the wonderful Chris Carr.
Let's get into it, everybody.
It's a Christian Harlow show.
It is Wednesday.
Ready? Oh, you see what I did there?
Neither. Welcome back to the show here, everybody.
Welcoming back again on this Wednesday, Chris Carr.
Hello, Chris.
Hey, how's it going?
Good. How are you doing?
Doing well. I'm super pumped.
I'm going to my first Emmy party ever tonight.
That's nice.
This is how out of touch I am.
So I guess the Emmys are coming up?
Emmys are coming up.
When are they? Sunday?
Oh, I don't know if they're this Sunday.
They might be. I also clearly don't know what's going on.
I was just, I was just excited to be invited somewhere.
Me too.
I'm glad that you got invited as well.
I just, it's so funny.
Like the, I was having a conversation.
I've been pretty vocal on this show about it.
So I, for me, the only show that really counts.
I mean, these aren't too bad, though.
I mean, these aren't too bad.
But Oscars, I tend to find it to be an absolute joke.
But I find the Critics Choice Awards and whether or not I'm part of it or not,
I think that they are the most legitimate because it's like actual critics who are going to see it and they're supposed to see it.
And they're not like, it's not a comfort.
of interest, they're not working on the films or work with people who've been on the film.
So to me, it's the most legitimate. The people who win, like the, I always pretty well have John
M. Chu wasn't even nominated for, uh, for an Oscar for Wicked yet he won for Critic Choice.
Now, I don't know if he necessarily, I didn't, I thought he was great. I didn't vote for him
to win, but I'd have a problem that he did because of what he accomplished, but the fact
that he wasn't even nominated the Oscars and the fact that they, and then they came out and
they said all these things that that, that people weren't even watching the movies.
And there's a joke.
Yeah.
It gets really weird political.
Emmys are September 14th.
This is,
and this is part of all of that where it's the,
this is the schmoozing of like Emmy voters.
You need to vote for all this stuff,
which I'm not mad about being part of that, though.
No, that's cool.
That's really cool.
So some people are asking,
I say it in the comments where as far as Brett goes.
So Brett is going to be doing,
we're bringing back the goofball show,
which 2021, I was going through the graphics
and everything today.
That show was created even before.
They might have been created on the other channel.
I thought it was here,
but we were essentially rebooting the whole thing,
and it's going to be episode one today.
And we're talking about the do's and don'ts of YouTube.
I could just show,
I can tell it because, you know,
Luke who sends the stories out,
he really gets,
he really gets who Brett and I are.
He really does understand because I told them,
we're, you know,
we're going to do a show.
It's going to be a little goofy.
not movie news and stuff too.
We'll probably put it on Thursdays after the live show, like, you know, a couple hours later.
And we're looking for, you know, we'll be doing videos and stories and things of that nature.
And he goes, you want to talk about people throwing dildos on the court at the WNBA?
I said 1,000 percent.
1,000 percent.
We will be talking about that.
We also have other videos that we're going to be showing.
So it's going to be that that'll debut.
The first episode of the goofball show will debut on Thursday.
on this channel we're gonna start it's one of those shows if it does 2,000 views an episode.
I don't care. I just want to be able to goof around with Brett and do some there you go.
But on this show, we talk about some movie news, Chris Carr, we got some today.
So let's start with this one.
Johnny Depp has had some talks over his pirates return.
This is the new news.
Yet again, talk is now stirring that Johnny Depp is possibly eyeing a return as Jack Sparrow for a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean.
be a movie in a new interview with Jerry Bruckheimer.
He's confirmed that he has spoken to depth about a new film and that Jack Sparrow could be back.
If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it.
It's all about what's on the page, as we all know.
We are still working on a screenplay.
We want to make it.
We just got to get the right screenplay.
We haven't quite gotten there yet, but we're closed.
Depp top line, the five Pirates movies from 2003 to 2017.
Wow.
All of them grossing over 650 million.
at the worldwide box office and two of them passing one billion.
The actor is now mounting a Hollywood comeback.
At last year, last report a year ago,
screenwriter Jeff Nathanson apparently cracked the script with Brockheimer,
talking up the film's amazing third act,
but added that the first and second still needed work.
Prior pirates scribe, Ted Elliott,
and the last of a showrunner, Craig.
Amazing penned a script a few years back that also got people excited.
It's not clear if Nathanson script is working of that,
Or, excuse me, off that or it's on its own thing.
So, Chris, you hear this news that Depp is coming back.
Two questions.
A, should he?
B.
Will he?
Well, to me, the Pirates franchise worked best when it was about Captain Sparrow.
But he also was not particularly well received in that last one.
I thought it made sense for him to be the most drunk and bumble.
he'd ever been because that's what happens with alcoholism kids you become pretty pretty dumb
over time your your functioning deteriorates so i thought it worked um but i don't know if he should come
back or if they should do a completely new kind of reboot here and do something else with this IP
um i also still i'm not sure how just the court of public opinion feels about him between him and
all the amber heard drama that all came out people watching that trial on youtube it's still hard to say if he
really is mounting a comeback and if people are ready for him.
Personally, I love that character and I'd love to see it and more stuff.
I just don't know how effective it's going to be and it really does depend on how great
that script is.
My opinion is that if you don't, if you do another Pirates movie without him, you're in trouble
right now.
I think that I think that the IP for a lot of different reasons.
I don't disagree with you that I think there is a sect of people that we're like, well,
I don't want to see him.
I'm not going to support him.
I think that on the opposite side of that, I think there are a lot of people who do support him.
And I think there are a lot of people who, I think there's more people who wouldn't see it if he's not in it, then wouldn't see it if he is in it.
And I feel like if they put him in this movie, it does another thing where it's like it feels like, as you said, it feels like a Pirates movie.
If you put him in the next one, it does well.
And then they do another spinoff, knowing that he's back on board still and that he could.
could appear after you build it, but I think you've got to rebuild it again.
And I think that you have to rebuild it with him.
You can change some things up.
You don't have to go as big.
I think a lot of these movies, Disney is now finding that the big budget movie can still
exist, but it shouldn't be so astronomical that it's too hard.
The days of a Pirates movie making a billion dollars is over.
It just will not happen.
And I wouldn't even have guessed that two of them had done that before.
It doesn't surprise me for the time that it came out.
I just don't think it'll happen, but he should come back.
And the other thing, I know at one point when all the stuff was going down for the trial and all that,
he had mentioned, I think that he didn't want to or he wasn't, or he wouldn't or something.
I think he said something along those lines.
I might be misquoting it, but that's what way I read.
The other thing is, look, he's, I think he has gotten some gigs after trial, but he's not in the spotlight the way that he was beforehand.
So a big budget, big blockbuster thing that kind of made his big blockbuster, you know, star.
Of course, he's going to take that check.
You know, if he can get back on and it also opened the doors to the other studios,
okay, well, that's how Hollywood works.
Well, if one studio forgives him, even though it is the studio that kind of needed them to come back to see.
We'll hire him too.
The audience is okay with it.
We just don't want to be the first ones to do it, but we'll be the second ones to do it.
Exactly.
People love to see someone prove their track record.
I mean, this is a different comparison, but you had what I thought would have been Robert Downey Jr's comeback was Kiss Kiss, Kiss Bang Bang.
And that was a really incredible film where he showed up and did a really wonderful job.
And John Favreau has talked about how part of that, like him being cast as Iron Man was, look, he came back.
He's doing the work.
He's clean and sober and working as someone professional should.
And then we got him with Disney.
So I feel like, yeah, you have to have somebody else sometimes light that tort.
for the other studios to go, well, I guess that proves it for him. I guess that works.
Right. And that's the thing. It's like, well, if somebody, that's how this town always has been.
It's like, oh, well, we don't want to be the, we'll do it. We just don't want to be the first to do it.
I'm so glad you brought up the budget too, because yeah, this needs to really hone it in.
Yeah. And so we brought it up in the, in the comments, you know, people forget he was nominated for it.
Yeah.
So it's just crazy. Like, you wouldn't.
You wouldn't expect him to be nominated or anybody to be nominated for that particular role in a big Disney kind of movie like that.
There's a couple different times that people kind of crack that code and are able to do it.
So I think he should come back.
But I would also like to see them do something where maybe be a little bit more layered to the character.
Maybe that's what he's looking for too.
Maybe that's where he wants to come back.
So nonetheless, we both think he's coming back, right?
I think so.
I think so, too.
What do you guys think he's going to come back?
But do you guys think he's going to come back?
Do you not think he's going to come back?
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know.
All right, Chris Carr, we got to get you win today.
We're going to try to get your win.
Right now, you got Roxy and Mike to contend with again.
But this time, it's not in the hundreds.
It's at 83.
It's doable.
I think you got, you were in like, you were close to 60 last week.
So we're getting there.
You're getting there.
So I think we can get to, yeah, 83, I think is what they had yesterday.
So we can get to 83 to tie, 84 for Chris Carr to be.
the lead let's see if we can get chris car that win everybody's time out trying to get it to the win
of each one of you put in uh put in one question right now she went that's it um so we have other
things to discuss in the room realm of movie news and there was something else that i saw with john boyega
has been talking some star war stuff so we'll talk some star war stuff too chris car let's do it
his early Star Wars expectations.
This is March, every time,
this is the one thing about poor Boyega is that,
you know,
he didn't even have a great experience on these three films.
And it's really kind of all he's asked about on a lot of his projects now.
But in the wake of the release of Star Wars,
The Rise of Skywalker in 2019,
the last theatrical movie that they've done, by the way.
That's insanity.
John Boyega has given interviews about his time with Star Wars
and the misgivings that he had.
Part of that stem from the obvious sidelining of his character.
Effectively, the male lead alongside Daisy Ridley's Ray in The Forest Awakens.
His character was reduced to a supporting role in the subsequent two films.
Part of that seemed to stem from the lack of a real plan for the sequel trilogy,
which saw three films with quite different storytelling goals and tone.
During an appearance, excuse me, a fan Expo Boston last weekend, Boyega revealed that one
potential reason for his frustration was the different expectations for his arc than what made
it to the screen. So I think I assumed he was force sensitive from the force awakened script,
or at least by the time I got to the end of the force awakened script, I thought they were
planning dual jeddyes. I also thought they would Obi-Wan and Darth Vader us a bit.
They would turn each other turn each other, I can't read today, that we would turn against
each other or something along those lines. Despite his criticisms, Boyega has reaffirmed in recent years
that he remains a massive, massive fan of Star Wars.
The actor has multiple films in post-production right now,
including the freshening, Otis, and Zelma,
and a sequel to the first film he started in 2011's Attack the Block.
I did not know that they were doing a sequel to attack the block.
Oh, hell yeah.
I'm so excited about it.
Yeah, that's great.
So this is another year.
You were talking about Johnny Depp and how his stance is kind of softened
on doing another Pirates thing.
And it seems that Boyega is the same.
I think that with the return of Daisy Ridley,
which will ultimately see.
And I think that as they're going to start putting movies,
the next block of movies after Mandalorian and Grogu was Starfighter,
and they seem to be placing it in the tone five, ten years plus after Rise of Skywalker,
and then Ray's going to start showing up and they're going to start setting,
setting the tone of what the galaxy looks like there, right?
It would make sense for Po to show up again,
and it certainly would make sense for Finn to show up again.
And because of the relationship that I think Daisy Ridley, if you're at Lucasfilm and you're Disney and you know that you've done this guy wrong and you know you have Daisy Ridley on board and she's like, I can talk to John, you have her talk to John.
And I think that's what's happened.
I think that's why he's softened on his stance.
I think we see him back.
I don't know if it's going to necessarily be in Starfighter, probably not.
But if they ever do that Ray movie or anything with her, whether it's the Simon Kinberg trilogy or whatever might be, he'll show up.
again. Do you feel the same way? Do you think he's toast? Oh, I think you nailed it. I think that's
absolutely it because he was so excited as you would be to be a part of Star Wars. Oh my gosh, the video of
him seeing the trailer for this time, first time and reacting with his friends is so wonderful.
If y'all haven't seen it, go check it out. But they did do him dirty. The stuff they did
with his character was just, they could have had so much fun. And that was such an interesting
throughline too that I wish they tugged at more of that hole. Anyone can be four sense.
Anyone can have this. It's not that you're part of some lineage like the Skywalker's, like the Palpatines. It can be just anyone is force sensitive, much like Anakin, just being this miracle of a being. Right? And I think that's something they really missed with playing around with his character, and especially because of the chemistry he has with Daisy Ridley, you know, with Isaac as well. I mean, he's wonderful and he's such a tremendous actor and he's really proven himself. And the last few films, he's
chosen as well. I think it was wise of him to kind of back away from big blockbuster
franchises and just hone in on on showing us those chops. You know, Woman King, he's excellent
in. And I do think that there's a place for him still in Star Wars, especially if they give him
the kind of role he deserves and the kind of role that that character deserves to because Finn was
really interesting. He was super interesting after the, I was with him. I remember being on Jedi
Council going, no, this guy's definitely going to be four sensitive. You can see that happening.
and eventually he was, but in such a bizarre way,
and he still hasn't told Ray's secret.
Does he ever tell the secret?
No.
And we don't even know.
I have a secret.
What is it?
Oh, don't worry about it.
I'll tell you when.
Off air.
And it's one of those things where they had this set up and then they just completely
took him from episode seven in the beginning episode eight and like, oh, let's pretend
seven really didn't happen with this character and put him exactly the same exact way he
was in the beginning of episode seven. Let's take away everything that he learned in seven and
just make him this side character. He's going to run around in this casino planet and he'll be he'll
put the comic relief. It's like he had the arc in him and ray had the arcs in episode seven and that
was kind of pooped on. So I can understand A being frustrated there and then by the time it gets a
nine, they didn't know what to do with them anymore. And it's like JJ's like well I had this thing
set up for him. Let's kind of forget that eight really happened and then we'll kind of piece this
together but but we still
Ray's got this other thing going on and it was a mess
so if he's able to do it and he's
able to he was the only one that
and you could see him during the press for episode
nine starting to get frustrated with
the way that Star Wars fans were
getting frustrated he was
he watched the Clone Wars
he watched these shows he was a Star Wars fan
so he saw when it came to
like when the Stormtrovers are flying
and JJ put that stupid
line in there when Oscar is like oh they fly
now and he is they fly now and he is
they fly now
that dumb thing.
And he said in the press, he's like, wow, they've been flying.
The clone troopers flew in the thing and other, they've been flying forever.
He knew that people flew.
I want more actors to speak up in the process about that stuff too when they know it.
Like that's what I loved about Boyega.
That's what I love about Henry Cavill about almost any nerdy kind of property.
Like the Witcher, he'd be like, this isn't what happens in the books.
This is not how that goes.
I think that if you are a fan, that's what we.
fans want to is to see ourselves represented in the media of oh my gosh isn't it so cool that one of us
gets to be in one of these movies one of us nerds gets to be in here and so use that knowledge also
why don't why doesn't star wars have like a dramaturg you know like why isn't there somebody on set
who does a no canonically that's not what happens i just that always confuses me if if community
theater has that i feel it was the lookist film but they said that Pablo hadago was supposed to be the guy
that did that and Leland Chee was supposed to be the guy that did that and then Dave
Faloni was supposed to be the guy they don't ever do that they changed things up left
and right and even and even when I've talked about this with uh and I think this was the right move by
the way but when Tony Gilroy came in for and our season two we knew K2SO was coming and I and I said this
on the get go I said there is no world where Tony Gilroy is going to follow the actual canon
of how K2SO and Andor met because Lucasfilm
made this announcement back in 2020,
I think they shouldn't have,
where they said all of our comics,
all of our games,
all of our anime,
everything that we have moving forward,
it's all canon.
It all is part of it.
So basically lying to the comics and books fans
that if you read this,
if you read this,
then if you read something from a book,
that's what happened.
And they'll mention it in movies
and everything else too,
and you'll be rewarded that way, right?
If you're in through the canon.
Well, they wrote a comic and this is one of many instances where they just, you know, said, no, I'm not going to do that.
And they had many.
And in this particular thing, they had K2 or so and how him and and or met was significantly different than what happened in our season two.
My opinion is it was way better in how they met in and or season two than in the comic.
But Tony Gill was like, I'm not following the comic.
I'm not doing this.
And then they were like, okay.
And it's like, yeah, they have someone who's on there to say, hey, well, this is what happened.
But they don't follow it.
So it doesn't matter.
I think they need to change that moving forward,
not necessarily with the books and the comics and stuff,
but they need to all be on the same page,
put things together,
and then maybe you can get some justice for an actor like John Boyega
with his character moving forward.
I agree.
So I don't know, man.
What do you guys think?
Do you think that Boyega is going to return?
Not going to return?
Is he think he's just being nice during these,
you know, panels because that's what he's there for.
And people are going to ask him and he knows how to play the game.
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know whether it's on the Clips channel.
Please go and check out that Clips channel.
You got this Christian Harleff clips.

I don't have the time to do it.
So yesterday, someone very kindly in the chat did time codes.
I cut, pasted it, put it in the chat.
You want to do that?
I'm more than happy to just cut, paste it, put it in there.

Chris Carr right now currently at 16. Not too bad. Not too bad going into it. Uh,
and we still would we had 25 minutes left of stories. So you still got some time to build. Can we
get Chris Carr first win? Let's do it guys. Um, you know, you and I were talking about
Wednesday off air. And so I figured let's talk about Wednesday on air and Wednesday. And Wednesday's
Season two, to no one's surprise, debuts to really big numbers.
The first half of the second season of Wednesday debuted on Netflix last week and has
managed to pull in very big numbers. The series returned to the streamer's second season,
debuted on August 4th, and within its first five days, managed to pull in 50 million views.
The first season pulled in 341.1 million in five days,
and divided over runtime equals roughly 50.1 million views.
One key difference is that the first season premiered with all eight episodes at
once, whereas season two premiered with only four episodes of its run, the remaining four
premiering on September 3rd. The split is expected to yield a second major viewership spike
next month, and thus increase the numbers for the run overall over the full 90-day period
that Netflix measures for its all-time list. The first season ranks as Netflix's number one
most popular English-language TV title ever, and its number two TV title overall behind
only the first season of Squid Game. First part of the second season has also
set a new record for the highest number of countries in which an English language TV title has reached number one of the week.
91 total series creators Alfred Go and Miles Millar recently confirmed that they are involved in a new animation film adaptation of the Adams family property and it's in the works at Amazon MGM,
one that won't be connected to Wednesday or the previous animated movies.
Okay, so that last part, I mean, I don't really understand why they would do that to be if it's not connected to it.
Who cares?
The whole point is the reason that this thing popped is because of the matches that they found with these characters and everybody too.
But that's notwithstanding.
Even though the reviews have not been as solid as the first season, it seems like the fans are really enjoying it.
I've watched the first three now.
I've seen the first three.
I've got one more left to go.
I dig it.
I think she's fantastic.
She's really good.
I don't like, I'm not going to spoil anything.
I don't like either this season.
I like her as an actress.
I like her as an actress.
I like her in general,
but I don't like,
she's kind of a dick in this season.
There's something in particular that she's,
that,
that she's doing.
It's kind of a dick and selfish.
But that doesn't mean she can't turn herself around.
I'm just,
for that point,
I was like,
oh, man.
But I thought,
but I,
but I love when she interacts with Wednesday.
I love that the,
the investigation,
the only problem I've got with the show so far,
because I don't have a problem
with Enid be a dick. I just feel like she's a dick so far.
I mean, that's the character choice.
The Pugsy and the B kid, get rid of this storyline.
Bored to tears.
Yeah.
You'll, in episode four, you will see some more like connections and things like that.
But it could have been done in a different way because, yeah, I'm also very bored with that storyline.
Every time they came on, it was just a, oh, this again.
Okay, good.
My theory here kind of with Enid being a dick is you, you don't.
don't really have Wednesday growing a lot in the way that traditional characters do on television
shows. She is coming into a new power and things like that, but personality-wise, her like an
enjoyment of people and participation, those kinds of things. That all is staying the same. She is still
just opting out at every social aspect whatsoever. You know, she still doesn't like people. She
still doesn't like her mom. So I think then you have Enid kind of go through more of those high
school growing pains because she can. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I understand why they're doing it. I just,
but also, yeah, she's being a really mean sophomore girl. She's being a little bit of a bitch.
Yeah. So I get that. I just, I read a really great article from IGN that kind of explained how I was
feeling about this season where it was this does kind of feel like it's becoming more and more like
an ECW show that went, hey, I'm going to take this preexisting stuff and,
and make it a murder mystery.
And I feel like we're starting to enter that territory more and more.
And it's a little less.
Like a CW show?
Yeah.
And I'm hoping that the next part of the season makes me go, nope, this is, this is Wednesday.
This is what I enjoy.
This is the show I know and love.
But I had a little inkling of that in the back of my mind of just like, I don't know if this is, if this is the trajectory I thought this was going to go.
Do you like that it's going darker.
Hated the eyeball stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
Um, I, I like, yeah, darker, darker is fine.
I don't mind that.
I see there's a couple.
And I, and I, and I wonder though, because I bring up the, you know, the Pugsy and the B thing, I just, when I'm locked, I'm locked into the storyline of her doing the investigation.
And then it goes to that and I'm like, oh.
And then I got to get back into it again.
And that, that, that, I didn't feel that in season one.
Um, yeah.
Yeah.
So, and I love Steve Bussami.
Yeah.
I mean, and, and there's a lot more of, um, Gomez and, um, um,
There's a Mortisha, right?
Morticia, yeah.
There's more of them.
Which is really great.
Yeah, and the back and forth between Catherine Zeta Jones and Jenna Ortega really works.
So I dig the show.
It's fun.
I don't think the season two is as good as one, but.
No.
I guess I just keep waiting for some more gleeful Adams family things to happen.
You know, like Wednesday and Pugsy loved torture.
Right.
Like that was how they played.
And so there's just been a couple little opportunities where it,
it's, I think Wednesday can enjoy some of this weird shit she gets to do.
And maybe, maybe that then makes it a little less palpable for your audience.
But like, if you're, if you're dealing with a serial killer, I want you to really deal with a serial killer.
You know what I mean?
Sure.
And I didn't see episode four.
So I would assume he comes back.
But like, Haley Joel Osman is in the beginning of this show.
Right.
So you don't want to tell me.
I would assume he comes back.
I mean, you don't hire Haley Joel Osman to be in 33 seconds of the, of the show.
the show and then the other one that showed up was anthony michael hall he shows up for
second two which is which is fun um he's great but yeah it's a little it looks a little
predictor but it's fun but i understand exactly why the show is doing what it's doing um so what
do you guys think about wednesday season two are you surprised that it's crushing the way it is
is it not surprising at all do you watch the show do you not want to watch your show do you not
care put your thoughts in there let us know uh i'll tell you what people talk about horror and other
things I asked Chris Carr off air. It's like, so did you see weapons yet? She's like, nope. Friends told me that I would not be able to handle it.
And so she does not go see it. So she will this story will mean nothing to her. But there are talks under way for a weapons prequel.
And this is starting to I saw this and there you go. This is she's that's creepy as you get Warner Brothers pictures and new line cinema are poorly already in talks with filmmakers Zach Craigar about making a prequel of the current box office champion weapons.
Hollywood reporter broke the news indicating the film would explore the origin of
of Aunt Gladys, the mysterious, one-haired, massive eyeglass wearing and doused and makeup
elderly woman who suddenly arrives in town.
I'm going to be careful.
There's no spoilers in here.
Weapons is built on a chapter structure, which each chapter focusing on the perspective
of different characters that intersect.
There are around six across the film of various lengths, focusing on Justine, Archer,
Paul, James, Marcus, and finally Alex.
The trade sources indicate that Kragher actually had a chapter focused on Gladys and some
of her backstory.
However, he ultimately pulled that section from the script.
for length purposes. Now it appears the lost chapter could have expanded into a full length story.
However, no deals have been made.
Currently, there is no timeline for the project.
Craigor is presently in pre-production in Prague for his Resident Evil reboot at Sony Pictures.
That project is slated to hit cinemas next September.
I'll tell you why I don't like this.
It has nothing to do with the character.
I thought Emmy Madigan was excellent, excellent in the role.
and creepy as hell
that the character was creepy as hell
I thought that it made sense in how they
set her up, brought her up, everything
about it. What I don't
like about it is
it's that studio mentality
which understand the way they want to do it
of hell, this is our hit, this is a hit,
just take this director and get them
to do as many movies inside
of this world that we can get them
to get because it's an IP that we have now.
I understand it. I get it.
But I want Craigers to go, no thanks.
I'm good. I did that one.
I'm off. I'm going to go, you know, right now I'm two for two.
I want to see if I can get Resident Evil back on track and make it, make it like a huge thing that the game was as big and basically do what Last of Us did in season one.
That's what I want to do. And then I'm going to make my own new original thing because everyone's going to be knocking on the door.
I don't want to stay in this world right now. Maybe I'll come back to it in five years. We'll see. But right now, I'm good.
he's I and maybe it's just because I'm such a I'm such a big fan I knew I knew nothing about
this guy three weeks ago knew nothing about him I watched barbarian yeah watched barbarian and I
said whoa this is a special filmmaker because I especially I don't like that kind of stuff normally
but you could tell it was done on a smaller thing and I got why they got the buzz and then I saw
weapons like oh this is the guy this is like the new guy that everybody's going to be just
lining up to see his movies I'm going to like I've been saying this he's
He's like the R-rated Shama La.
To me.
And I don't want to see him just stay in this world.
And even Shaman.
He didn't go back to the unbreakable world until, what, 10, 15 years later.
Yeah.
So if I'm Gregor's agent, even though the money is right in front of your face,
Warner Brothers wants to knock down the doors to do it, we got options.
Let's move forward.
Yeah, I like that too.
I like that integrity move, you know, because he could.
He could just do that.
That's an easy paycheck, but that could absolutely.
diminish the work that he's built up here,
especially if there's no real why for the prequel,
aside from, well,
people liked this first one.
I love that you knew nothing about him before this,
though, because how I know him,
since I'm not a horror movie person,
is from whitest kids you know,
from him doing sketch comedy.
And I love that pipeline of sketch comedy folks
who then go into horror.
And I think it's because they just,
they understand formula so well.
They understand, like, arc structures,
how to do a comeback to,
how to set something up and then spike it in a moment.
And so I think it's a really interesting trajectory he's been on.
And I've seen the little clip in Barbarian too of Justin Long, right, having like the tape measure
out.
I love that he's got these really dark comedic beats to him too.
I'm eventually going to watch these movies.
Maybe not Barbarian because that's been completely like beat for me.
Yeah.
I would say I don't think that one's for me.
No, I would say the two of them weapons.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think weapons is one that I would like.
like and then those moments that you've told me about are just kind of when I'll do a is it done.
But I just don't need to ruin everyone's experience at the theater.
But he seems like such a cool and interesting writer-director.
And I'm really glad that he's just following his own bliss, you know, and doing what he's
excited about.
Because when we make stuff just because a studio wants us to, that's like the chat pointed it out.
That's when you get Joker 2.
A hundred percent.
And I think, well, you know, that's a, that's a harder one, though.
That's a harder one because Joker 2, they wanted, you.
Yes, they wanted another sequel because it made money and absolutely valid to say that.
But Todd Phillips also said, well, I'm going to really do something really ridiculous.
It's not going to be anything to do with what I ultimately made the first one successful.
And then I'm going to throw a new thing in there.
But the other thing I'm going to do, guys, is, you know, we made that movie for nothing?
I'm going to make this one for three times that budget.
So much money.
So much money.
And put a musical aspect to it.
And Todd Phillips is as much, if not the major factor, why that.
movie and I like Todd Phillips. So he was he was the reason that failed not because they wanted to do a
sequel. It it came it came up of like okay we made money should we just left it well enough alone
and maybe the answer is yes to that. Well I think that's the case with his other films too. Hangover
let it be hangover one. Let's that alone. That's fine. Hangover two was okay. Hangover three.
It certainly happens it. It certainly happens all the time. Yeah right. It's like leave it alone but
you know it's there's that there's that there's the carrot. It's right there. I mean we were just
talking about pirates. A hundred percent. But you understand what the studios want to do it.
Now, the question also for Craggers is that this is another reason why I could go back and
say, look, I'm so glad that he went back and he and he did that. I'm so glad that he did because
as they say in the article, he had a story. He knows her backstory. Now, can you stretch that
10 or 15 minutes into two hours? And you would, I would assume you would cast. I would assume you would
cast a younger version of her and you would do that. But I don't know, we'll see.
For you, is it is the unknown scarier when you don't have someone's backstory, is that more
enticing to you? Or do you watch something go, gosh, I want to know more about her?
It's a case by case. Okay. Yeah, it's case by case. Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes like,
oh, I don't think I need to know anything about that person. Now that person, the mystery is
kind of gone from what I liked about. And there's other times going, oh, that was so intriguing.
now I get why that person ticks.
Okay.
So yeah, just case by case.
To you?
Usually I kind of like the tell me less.
Tell me less and don't tell me everything.
Kind of with some of the idea of like the Disney villain movies of I really don't need to know why they're like this.
I just kind of want to see it.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's all Maleficent for me.
Yeah.
Okay.
So weapons.
Should it get a prequel?
should it or should he move on to something else or just depends what's your thoughts on it let us know uh all right
let's shift to some comic book stuff because we covered other things that's not common book movies today
you guys ask for that all the time and i love talking about this stuff so what do we do now let's talk
about comic movies um dr strange the franchise confirms that they're gonna return in avengers
doomsday and it could be a game changer mother uh what is it exactly we shall see
Well, many noteworthy names are missing from Avengers Doomsday cast,
but it appears now we can add a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Maddenstar to the list
after they tease their powerful return.
As where it continues on Avengers Doomstay in the UK,
another actor has been seemingly confirmed as part of the already impressive ensemble.
E.T. Online caught up with Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Star.
How do you pronounce? Do you know this? Is it Jietil?
Oh, is it Shoddy?
Shoddy.
Oh, gosh. She was on Dancing with the Stars. I know I know.
know how to say it. I'm going to say it. I'm going to I'm going to trust you because my
pronunciation is crap. So I'm going to say Jody Gomez and quizzed her about
starring in the next Avengers movie. She wasn't part of that splashy cast reveal. She didn't
deny being involved with the project and instead talked about what she was excited to bring
the table as America Chavez when she crosses paths with more of Earth 616 as mightiest heroes.
I mean, I'm excited to see her future she started. I think most importantly, what do you guys
want to see? What are you hoping for America's future? I would love to see that. Hopefully we'll
click up something with what y'all put out there manifest it.
Asked to describe what America brings to the tables in Avengers Doomsday,
three words, Gomez said bravery, courage, and let's say it's powerful.
Dr. Strange in the multiverse of madness established that America can travel through the
multiverse, essentially punching her way into New World,
a power that Scarlet Witch hoped to use to track down variants of her children,
Billy and Tommy.
We last saw the teenager training at Comitosh,
so she might have mastered those powers by now.
America is likely to pay a key role in Avengers Doomsday and her presence
in the movie will be a game changer versus Sam Wilson
and Yelena, respective teams they'd look to stop
whatever Dr. Doom is up to.
However, the Fantastic Four travel from Earth 828, Earth 616,
it's still a mystery to us on how,
though we still don't know whether they were on that ship.
We also bet on America joining whatever form
the MCU's Young Avengers takes.
Finally, Gomez was asked on who she's most looking forward to
sharing the screen with, and she said, oh, wow, well, I hope not to say anything,
this is just vibes. I would love to work with Elizabeth Olson,
again, that was my favorite experience ever.
Olson is rumored to return in Doomsday,
while Benedict Comabash appeared confused about whether he's in a movie.
Benedict Guang's status also isn't clear,
and neither is Charlie Steron after she made her the MCU debut as Clea
in the Doctor Strange's sequel post-credit scene.
Okay, lots here.
So when it comes to America Chavez,
it would be stupid not to have her in a multiverse movie.
Yeah, she opens multiverse portals.
That's her whole thing.
Right, and where she's been.
You know, it's like you have this power,
and especially the fact that you have probably this one person that's going to be able to counter or at least help with what Doom is doing and help people travel to confront him and get that she's going to be the portal for them to be able to do it.
Dr. Strange,
you would assume would make the introduction or maybe she's already been introduced to everybody.
So you would have to use her.
It would make sense because she's the one person who has that power.
And, you know, as far as the other things, her saying she wants to work with Elizabeth Olson,
A, does it mean that Elizabeth Olson is definitely going to be in it?
No, B, do I think Elizabeth Olson's going to be in it?
Yes.
Because everybody's in this movie, Chris Gore, everybody.
Yeah.
If James Marsden's in this movie, I think Elizabeth Holman's going to be in this movie.
Everybody's in this movie.
So what do you think about her being in this and the comments in general?
I really think that she needs to be in this movie.
She should be in this movie.
And I think that would be the quote-unquote game changer here of actually utilizing this
multiverse power and making it make sense, especially if this is going to be the end of our sort of
multiverse saga, then we need to have her in here. And she needs to be a key player in all of this.
I will say, though, I've been burned before. I trust and love no one. Dr. Strange in the
multiverse of madness was promoted as a game changer. And I think that's kind of been Marvel's
problem. And one of the reasons why we have seen this kind of peter off is because, oh, every single
movie is going to be this huge,
big revelation.
Everything is going to be it.
And then you watch it and you go,
oh,
this is a fun movie and I like it at face value.
But did it make this huge difference?
Was there big,
this big connecting thing that's happening?
And maybe now when we go into this movie,
we're going to see all these little puzzle pieces,
all these little strings come together.
But I just kind of need Marvel to stop telling me that this is like,
this is the big one.
This is where things changing get real.
They're just trying to get people in the theater.
Yeah.
Yeah. And it's like, you know, that that's really not the way to do it, in my opinion.
But they've been, I guess, doing that less, but as I'm trying to just figure out their strategy in general.
But like this is going to, we had this whole conversation yesterday on the show where there was one comment or which I understand where they said.
I just don't think it's a guarantee.
But the next three Marvel movies that are coming out have the potential to get them to the billion dollar mark.
you've got the next Spider-Man movie and the next two Avengers.
Now, they need to at least get, you know,
at least 50 million to 100 million past profit is what I think in order for them to keep really moving forward here.
That's what they have to do.
So whether or not they're going to do that, I don't know.
But I am getting intrigued about how epic and what the story.
I don't know.
We know nothing about what this movie is going to be, Doomsday and Secretary.
I said it the other day that Doom is going to be from the Fantastic Force universe that I found out.
And there's also, he's also going to have two separate masks, which will be interesting too.
But that's all I know.
That's all I know.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, we can go look to the comics and see if they're going to take things from those from the namesakes.
But Kevin Fifey has constantly just kind of, you know, zigged and zagged through those,
taking kind of what he likes from a story, but then really making the MCU its own animal.
So it's really hard to say what the story is going to be about.
Yeah, I don't know.
I remember reading Secret Invasion as, I was saying that,
Secret Wars as a kid.
And I just remember the shot that I always remember is that when Doom revealed his face,
he was like this like, good looking dude.
And I don't know.
It was so long ago, I don't remember the full aspect of what it was all about.
I probably would love to go back and revisit it.
But who knows what they're going to incorporate and what they're not?
Because they incorporated so many different elements of what happened from the comic
into the Infinity War saga and all that and they change things up.
So we'll see.
What do you guys make of the comments?
You think that they're going to have America show up.
Should she show up?
Will she be a big point in the story?
What say you guys?
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know.
Okay.
We're going to do a couple more here,
but this one,
staying in the MCU and Dear Devil,
Born Again, Season 2.
Did you watch Season 1, Chris?
Yes, I did.
I loved it.
Two.
Underrated show.
Really liked it a lot.
Well, season two is not going to be the final season.
Confirms Vincent Danofrio.
Despite comments from Daredevil Born Against star Charlie Cox,
indicating that season two might be the show's last.
Kingpin actor Vincent Danfrio has now confirmed that's not the intention for the revival.
Update.
Vincent Navajo has now further elaborated on the confusion surrounding whether
Daredevil Born Again season two is the show's last,
confirming that he and co-star Charlie Cox.
have discussed that there's a very good chance for a third season.
He said, I believe Charlie meant the last season we actually shot, meaning the second season,
yet he used the term final season, so it's a bit confusing.
But Charlie and I have discussed, we both agree there's a very good chance for the third season.
So continuing on.
Yesterday, a clip of Charlie Cox referring to Dear Devil Born Again season two as the show's final season when viral on social media
caused quite a panic among fans, though the offhanded manner in which Cox
said that suggests he misspoke.
Deer Devil Born Again was announced as an 18 episode series
and involved into two seasons comprised of nine and eight episodes,
respectively.
While a third season has not been publicly greenlit,
Marvel television's boss, Brand Winterbaum,
has revealed that the intention is to continue the series.
Now, Vincent D'Nafrio has confirmed that Dear Double Born Again season two
is not being planned as the show's last,
responding to fans on X saying they were not true,
and there's a good chance we will have a third season.
So Chris Carr, we both agree that we like this season.
we don't know where two is going to go.
They have said, and I think smartly,
that they're really not going to have a lot of connection to the movies.
They've mentioned things in the same way that they mentioned Spider-Man in the first one.
And we'll obviously see Punisher in the new Spider-Man movie,
but this is going to kind of stand on its own.
What do you think?
Do you think three seasons should happen?
Do you think two seasons is fine?
Where do you stand on both comments?
I mean, obviously it comes down to what story they're telling. To me, this seems like three seasons. So we get that nice kind of three-act structure, especially since we've just ended season one with, no, I need to assemble my own team. And so that's what we're going to have in season two, figuring out that dynamic, if we're going to do that defenders kind of thing and redo that as well. And then see how that team works together and then come to our conclusion in a third season is what I think would happen. And that way you don't have to rush everything to, especially if we're going to keep doing.
you know, eight episodes or so, I would love to have a longer season of Daredevil and I would
love for it to be three seasons so we can really, really get into all the minutia with all these
different characters because they're so interesting and so plagued by guilt and so Catholic
and I just love it as somebody who grew up that way. And so I really love like the deep dives they
do into how Matt feels about his religion and how that burns goes into his relationships
and, you know, how he's still dealing with the foggy situation, which we have that huge
cliffhanger to figure out too, that whole mystery. So there's a lot to unpack, and I definitely don't
see Marvel wrapping this up quickly, since this is one of the things people are really gravitating to,
not only critically, but people are actually tuning in to see it. Yeah. And yeah, Daredevil was
damn good. The show was really, really solid. I'm hoping that they continue it, because especially
all the other crap that had come out previously that Marvel was putting out to finally get
something like more quality.
Oh, yeah.
It worked out.
Plus,
you're going to see more.
Hey, Luke Cage and other people are going to start showing up and next and they're going to
tie it together.
So we'll see.
Seasons of Deer Devil, did you like the show?
What do you think?
Are they going to continue it on?
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know.
Our last topic here before we get into the questions.
Chris, I forget.
Are you a fan of the boys?
I love the boys.
We've gotten to a point where I do have to kind of.
of like, ugh. But because it's so stylized and ridiculous, I usually am pretty cool with how insane
things get. So, have there been four seasons? Four seasons, right? I think we're, yeah, I think
this is the fifth and final. Fifth and final. So I still not watch the fourth season and I love the show.
Oh, yeah. Season four is where things get pretty gnarly. I don't know why. I just had like,
I was like, yeah, I can't wait to watch it. I never got to it. And I just had didn't have the,
I don't know why I didn't I said oh it's been five seasons I guess so far has there been five oh
and then this is this next and this is five I could be very wrong though I don't know either way
Anthony Star is now bidding farewell to the show and his complicated character with a heartfelt
post and this is what he said uh the fifth and final no the fifth and final season no this is
oh he's so the commenter was just saying five in general uh the fifth and final season so you're right
of the boys recently wrapped production and Anthony Starr has now taken to social media to thank the show's fans while bidding farewell to the monster he helped create filming officially wrapped on the fifth and final season of the boys last month with shorerunner Eric Kripke taking the social media to share the news along with a photo from the bot tower set several cast members followed suit with social media post bidding farewell to the show but Anthony Starr wasn't among them now the homelander actor has finally shared a lengthy response of his own with some previously unseen behind the scenes photos to his instagram page star
Thanks everyone involved with bringing the boys to screen and helping him put his stamp on what he describes as a complicated character.
Finally, he gives a heartfelt thank you to fans.
He said, you are the lifeblood without you.
We don't get to do this.
And our fans are second to none.
Mad love to you and deepest respect for your taste.
The first teaser for the boy season five screened at San Diego Comic-Con but was not released online.
We've heard that a different promo might not be too far away.
So keep an eye out.
And the final season.
I don't want to see the season finale for it.
Sorry.
and there will be probably lots of deaths,
says Eric Kripke is no guarantee who's going to survive.
And there's more and more comments here.
But Anthony start bidding farewell,
and I think this will be highly,
I think five seasons,
but I know there was,
I think four out of the three seasons
was the least liked by fans,
but it doesn't mean that they're not going to tune in.
I think five seasons is a perfect amount to say,
okay, look,
even if you're going to finish off with five,
come join us,
be a part of this.
I don't think they lost,
enough people to say like, oh, man, we have this, we're not, this is going to be a kind of a bummer of
a season five. We're not enough people are going to watch. I think enough people are going to watch
this. I think it's going to be solid. So I'm excited to see it. But what do you think about the fact
we're saying about should they had more seasons or this is a good run? I think this is a good run because
otherwise the boy starts to become a parody of, of what it's parodying. You know, we already have a
spin off. We already have another show and all of this. And the whole point is that it not only lampooned
superheroes, but how superheroes are in our culture now from when this comic first initially came out.
And so we make fun of the phases and the releases and all of this.
In addition to having all this political satire and commentary written in there as well.
So I think five is a solid ending point.
I do think a lot of it, too, it was really fun to see how this last season, season four,
a lot of people started doing the, well, hey, wait a second.
Are you trying to make a parallel to real life?
Yeah, that's what this whole thing is about.
You've been there from the beginning.
That's from day one.
This is why I get really worried about media literacy of just, oh, no, that's been the third line this whole time.
This comic also, it's deviated quite a bit from its source material.
And it's one of those ones where I think it's really kind of grown and evolved and become something better, in my opinion, than the original comics.
And these people do not get happy endings, really.
They don't get a good ending to it at all.
Oh.
Is that an ad start?
That's okay.
So I definitely think we are going to see a lot of deaths.
A lot of your favorite characters are going to go.
And that's just the nature of this show.
And that's the nature of how these characters kind of need to exist and cease to exist.
Yeah, it is one of those shows where nobody's safe, right?
It's always kind of been like that.
And I don't know if, I guess, I don't know if I'm supposed to say it.
Well, I knew.
So Matt Sarah had two people in here, one that was on air,
and the other one who was here to support.
But the person who came in was, is actually just shot Gen V and season two.
And it has like a pretty role, but they told me part of the role.
And I was like, I don't want to, I don't want to say, A, who it is or B, what they told me.
Because I don't know if it's out there and I don't want to get the person in trouble.
So it sounds fun.
It sounds fun from what they're doing because I like Gen B a lot.
I really like Gen B a lot.
So I need to give it another go.
I watched like three episodes and went,
I don't know if this one's for me.
Oh, I dug it.
I dug it a lot, yeah, especially the way it ended up.
It's tragic what happened to that poor kid, but in real life.
Yeah, but yeah.
Yeah, so anyway, the boys, where do you guys stand on the boys?
Are you gonna, if you weren't a fan of season 40,
coming back to see how it all ends, or are you done?
Vice, the opposite side of that.
If you've been locked in since the beginning, gonna be there or what?
Do you want to think it should stay longer?
Put your thoughts in there.
Let us know.
All right, Chris Carr, moment of truth.
You're ready for this?
Let's go.
Listen, I think you got a good start here.
You have 36 going into the 38 going into the questions.
That's nothing to sneeze about.
Nothing to sneeze at all.
You got to do 83 to tie.
83 to tie.
I mean, to be safe with the capes and cows guys, I think you want to get to at least 100.
But if you can get to 83, you beat Roxy and Mike today, I think it's possible, Chris Car.
But before we even get to that, let's talk about what's going on.
Two filthy casuals.
Tell us. So Two for the Casuals, you can go check us out on YouTube, just YouTube.com slash at Two Feelth The Casuals Pod. Or you can find us wherever you get your podcast. This is me and Amy Newman. She's a ridiculously funny comedian. We talk about fandoms. We have people come on who talk about things that we haven't checked out before so that they can answer questions about why they love this without any judgment. Because sometimes all of us fans can be a little gatekeeping. So it's just kind of a nice space to get your dumb questions answered because there are no dumb questions.
ultimately. So check that out. We've got some fun stuff out there. I recently made Amy watch
some peacemaker and I explained how that character exists in the world and how that's going to
kind of come into the movies and everything to moving forward. So go check those out.
All right. So thank you, Chris. Make sure you guys go and check that out. Ready to start this?
Yeah. Let's go.
All right. Tom Hanks. Did you see the Doge Big Balls, the fake got beat up in D.C.?
Did the real Big Balls have something to do with that after he stole his name? All right,
We're gonna you wanna do you want to interview him and see if if he let me see if I can get him.
Can you join us?
Let me see if I can get him Chris.
Sometimes he's a little, uh, he's shy.
I don't believe that for a second.
Yeah, you're right.
I'm not sure.
Yeah, you're not.
How you doing, lady?
I'm good.
How are you, bud?
I'm good.
Were you?
Were you, did you happen to be in D.C. recently?
Um, I'll see the fifth.
Smart.
Yes.
If you happened to be in the D.C. area and somebody happened to be stealing your name, how would you feel about that? What would you do?
Okay, look, this is how I'm going to do this. So, you know, you remember when O.J. said, I'm not saying I did, then.
If I did it, now would I do it? Well, I'd sneak up behind the mother of it. And I say, hey, stop stealing.
my nuts and my name.
And now I'll beat your ass.
Except I'm going to use some
strange Professor X magic
and make other mothers to it.
And that's might have what I would have done.
Maybe.
Allegedly.
He left.
Smart. Get out of here.
Work on your alibi, buddy.
That's it. I think you already did that.
Okay. So, yeah, I think he's guilty.
Tim, thoughts on Anadarmus,
potentially join the MCU.
She can join anything she wants.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A great actress, B, obvious reasons.
Yeah.
Tom Hanks.
Will Wicked 2 get sing-alongs that cost more,
improve its chance at $1 billion?
Also, you caught up on the bear.
I just watched Wedding Up and Love that.
I am caught up on the bear.
I finished it, but it was excellent.
Did you watch last season?
I have one episode left.
It was excellent.
I don't know what people are talking about.
The first few episodes were a little slow for me,
but then it really picked up
me. I just love that there's, oh, it's not, there's not enough in the kitchen. It's,
the last episode is essentially, the whole episode is in a, is in an alley, the whole episode.
And it's like, it's, it's, it's great because it's just, it, it showcases acting and
writing. I loved it. I, I, I thought the season was excellent. I disagree with people about
that one. Um, really liked it a lot. But as far as the sing-alongs, yeah, I think it'll, I don't
know how much it'll help, but will it help get to a billion? It'll certainly help. That's all I can
say. Listen, as a former insufferable musical theater kid who is one of those assholes who would sing
rent in a Denny's, those theater kids are going to come out and buy so many sing-along tickets.
Yes, I think so, too. They're going to add to it. How much that really adds to the billion
dollar total? I don't know. I'm not sure. Darien, is this my friend Darian? Chris, what accents have you
worked on throughout your voice acting career? Also, do you find it challenging to find some of your
known voices with those accents? Example, Russian 8-year-old in English. Oh, yeah, it's really hard.
I had an audition recently that I almost turned down, and luckily I didn't, because my agent ended up
really loving it, where I had to be a little British boy in a superhero genre. And that
kind of throws everything off because my boy voice usually for cartoons is kind of
ash catch on me and it's in like the side of my face where it's it's kind of just tucked up here
and that way I can have this little raspy thing going on for like doing Pokemon stuff um
my perfect day at sand saltwater and friends but my moderate to severe plaques psoriasis can take me

Dialect-wise, I've done some RP, so that's received British, received pronunciation, the way
we all assume most British people talk. Scottish is one that I do a lot. And then Russian,
I get a lot. And living in the valley, too. Everyone always assumes I'm Russian and speaks it
to me. So I'm trying to learn a little bit of it as well. All I hear with that is skills.
Thank you.
All right.
We got some members.
Good time to be a member.
We got some exclusive streams coming up.
We just put a whole bunch of the non-edited reactions.
We're doing it.
We just put up the non-edited reaction of Thunderbolts.
But this Friday, you're getting both the, well, the edited on the channel.
You're going to get Lord of the Rings and then not, Sam, Sam watched the first Lord of the Rings.
Fellowship of the Ring.
Chris, it airs this Friday.
I'm so excited.
I'm so excited.
Yep.
Cardi's also a new member.
again 40 this is this is a good time a good time to be a member for sure um okay joshua gonzalez alien earth
is crazy good a must watch i am gonna i'm considering doing a reaction to it is it a show that that is that
that is uh warrants a reaction let me know because i'm going to check it out chris hasn't hasn't
seen a lot of the alien movies right just just uh prometheus an alien right and it's right you said you never saw
in.
Oh,
speaking of which,
we're in pretty good shape
with the virtual reactions.
I did a test with Luke today
who showed me how to do
some of the stuff.
He and I are going to do our first test.
The way we were going to look at it
is that he and I are going to react to a movie.
We'll put it on this channel.
See how the editors do with it.
See if there's any issues with it.
And once we get the clear and say,
okay, that looks like it's working because it looked good.
sound you could the way that you recorded on river side looks pretty good so um once we get that
down uh we should have more news and we'll probably do i mean those movies aliens probably
have have to be for you for sure that be super fun yeah yeah uh boom or bust writing has been
the biggest way wait on my movie grades great writing will pump up a letter grade and vice
versa what impacts your grade the most go chris um i i mean writing in characters and development
is my biggest thing. So yeah. It's development of characters, investment in characters. That's my,
I mean, you can be a visual, if it's a visual, you know, just explosion, cool, fun, but is it going to be a
forgettable movie or am I actually going to be locked into it? Yeah, I got to be invested. And I need those
characters to make choices that make sense for their character, which might mean they do something
really stupid that's passion-fueled or a dumb idea, but they really need to do it. But I need those,
those characters to think for themselves. Yes. Okay, Goppa. Just got back from the doctor of my
illus-old deliberated, but I can kind of see. I was sad to miss yesterday's live show. We're
sad to not have you, but I'm glad you're okay. That's not fun to do. I've been there,
but I'm glad that you're okay now. And you have just contributed to Chris Carr having 41 right now,
41 Chris Carr. Thank you.
Brandon, hey, let's get Chris that win.
Yay. Can she do it?
Again, everybody who's in here, throw in a question, Chris Carr wins by a landslide.
Mariana Barbera, I had the pleasure of meeting John Boyega at the Florida Super
County. He was very nice down to earth. He really got screwed over by Lucasfilm, Disney,
Kathleen Kennedy and Ryan Johnson. I hope to bring him back for future movies.
Yeah, I hope, I mean, I think that they're, it's, I don't think it's a matter of them asking him.
I think it's a matter of him saying yes, for sure.
This is Buck's basement.
Hey, Karri, I miss you on the John Camp of your show.
I need to know your opinion on One Piece Season 2.
Aretha as Vivi, how Chopper looks.
Did you see the new trailer?
Oh, I have seen the new trailer.
And, okay, the whole backlash on the VV character.
Even the creator, Oda, has come out and said, this is who he picked.
What's the backlash?
People are upset because they don't feel that this actress looks like the anime character.
Okay.
And, okay, sure, she's going to have blue hair probably.
Like, she's going to be made to look like this.
The town that she is from is supposed to have tremendous Asian Indian influence.
And so I don't really understand to, like your South Asian influence, excuse me.
So I don't understand why people are so upset about it aside from, it just feels vaguely racist.
Like, sorry she doesn't look like this white anime cartoon character.
she's an excellent actress she was in bridgerton she's fabulous and again the creator of one piece
selected her to play this role so i think all of us as fans need to go hey the guy who created the thing
we all love this is his pick well i'm gonna trust him and see what happens on the show
um this is all those like guys who cares like it's good yeah and there's sometimes
i was just saying she's not real she's not a real character it's like a real person
There are sometimes, though, when I feel like, you know, it's like, oh, they did, they're doing that because they want to make sure that a certain audience is, is happy.
They probably shouldn't have done that for this one.
They're, they're doing it because they feel like that's what they're supposed to do.
I don't feel like that's the case here.
I feel like this is like you said, the creator goes, no, this is who is going to be able to fit this role.
But nonetheless, one piece was such a shock to me because I.
It's so good.
Did you read, were you a fan of the, the, the, sort of.
material so I read a few of the manga it's mostly the anime that I'm familiar
right okay so you so you're familiar with it see for me yeah I mean nothing about it
and I remember when the trailer came out I was like and I watched it and I said oh my
daughter I probably watched this and I'll watch it with my daughter I don't watch one episode
with my daughter I watched the whole thing reacted to the whole season by myself and I loved it and
I can't wait for season two so I'm excited for it we'll see um have you seen the little
Tony Tony chopper guy that they mentioned too no I didn't watch the trailer
I miss it out well the thing is if I'm the way that I look at it now for
any trailer, whether it's movies or TV, if I catch it when it comes out, I'll usually do a reaction
to it, right? If I miss it, then I just wait and go, because I don't want to see it anyway. I don't want to,
I don't want to learn anything. Yes, like weapons I didn't see a single thing. Well, I got spoiled
with a stupid scene that they showed on Instagram, which I didn't mean to. But I try to avoid,
if it's movies that I don't want to see, uh, movies that I, that I don't want to know anything
about, or not going to react to it. I don't watch the trailer. Um, I've been doing that more and more
to really, really enjoy it that way.
I've gotten so much more benefit out of the movies that way.
Harvey Spencer became a YouTube member.
Thank you, Harvey.
A lot of new members today.
That's the smarts.
I like that.
Harves K.
Hello to the both of you.
Are either of you going to check out the sing-long version of K-pop demon hunters in the theaters?
Christian might be if I want to take the girls.
One step ahead of you.
I've been, I talked to both the girls about it.
They both want to see it.
So we're excited to go and say, do you not know about this?
No, I think it's so cute. You're going. Netflix actually invited me and three friends.
So I have to pick out which three friends are going to go. Okay. They did the same with me,
but I have to go back and look at the email because I don't know. I think it's just,
I think it's just LA. I think it might be. I think so. Let me,
you know what, Chris, let's do this together. Let's find out. Let's find out right now. I'm going to
look and sing-along, which is coming to, I don't know, let me see.
I only see it in, I don't see it in New York here, but we'll see.
If I can, then I will.
How about that?
Reminds me of my drunk friend in college.
I don't know.
It has nothing to do with it, just the way that I said that.
I remember my buddy was so, we actually used to call him silent Bob.
And he was hammered.
And as I said, Chris, you got to get up.
You can't lay, you can't, what, well, you said a sign of the body.
His real name was Chris.
Um, and he's laying on the floor because you got to get up.
You got to get up.
And he looks up and he goes, if I would, you know, if I could, then I would, but I can't.
And he put his head down to the floor.
And they put in.
And they stuck in me.
You know, those big Bhutan chairs that they had like the big question was like a circular thing.
You could spin it around.
You know those things?
Oh, yeah.
I just remember they, right after that moment, people knew, like, people,
just walking over him because he wasn't because he wasn't moving and they put it put the chair
over him and sat on him he just slept there ridiculous um oh college DJ case gifted 10
memberships look at this DJ case coming back and you know DJ case is back because that's what
DJ case does gifts memberships like a madman thank you Isaiah Smith became a member getting members
here loving this David D Chris give me your best sports ball cliche oh
Um, uh, uh, I don't know enough about sports. Oh, God. I don't, I, we played like trash
with that first inning, but you know, it's about the, I've got nothing, you guys.
Oh, you got there. It was so good. I was going to try to do like the, the like, it's not how you play
the game. It's not, it's not whether you want to lose. It's for how you play the game. Yeah.
That's right. Uh, Nathan Drake, if it's true, you love the canto bite scenes. I would rather
have a unicorn
hit in my face
and watch those scenes again.
Wow.
And so many
different ways, too.
No, I hate that.
I hate that stupid scene. It's the worst.
Kate. I love Kate.
Chris, and the goofball show is back?
Hell yeah. Yeah, I'm excited for the goofball show.
It's going to be, it's going to be fun.
We're shooting an episode today, and I'm going to edit it
and we'll put it out tomorrow.
is going to be some i don't know what the hell we're going to i know a couple of things we're going to talk
about and then we'll see uh more topics
47 47 as we are approaching uh the 110 mark right now and now
germain king first chris is an amazing addition to the show this is true second have you
all watched katie sighing was amazing steve gutenberg interview i cut those damn things you got to
forget jermaine i was a producer on that on the actual the full show now i'm a producer on the clip
channel so um i those thumbnails you see on the clips channel that's this guy that's what i do on
on unless right now we're working on a different interview but last week roxy so roxy helps me
with those and she goes through and she watches down she comes up with the ideas of what things
could be the clips and so we were going through the gutenberg clips and she um and she sent one
she's like this paramount story he has is crazy and i was like okay so i put that one out last thing
has over 400 000 views now it's crazy
I didn't check that out.
I love to see you,
watch it. It was a great interview.
So, so yes, I, I, we actually didn't get a chance.
I saw that.
Jermaine, I saw it probably about a week before you did, my friend.
But yes, it's, it's really good.
Okay, next one after that, James Kirby,
Ms. Carr for the win today.
She got a shot.
She got a shot.
This is going to be a special day,
the day that she's, at least, at least gets in the lead.
railroad tie in the golden jukebox broke right now but wanted to show some love thank you you're doing that
very kind 49 49 looks like the support's coming out chris harves k alien earth is pretty gnarly so far but warning for
chris there is no direct eye violence so far but there is gross eye creature okay okay i should be able to deal
with that that's fine derrick santiago let's win this thing chris car okay thank you derrick okay so so chie so chile
So chill. So chill. Thank you. I had a feeling I butchered. She's so chill. There you go. That's easy. There you go.
So chill. Easy way to remember it. James Kirby, I hope they make America count this time. Agreed. They really need to make her account. She was not utilizing the way that she could have been. James Kirby, maybe even a blue Marvel nod. I, if you know, you know. I don't know. Some Dr. Brashear in there? Oh, oh, that's an interesting character to bring up.
DJ K story. Get some more support there. Thank you, DJ.
case. Okay, next one after that, James Kirby. I love the Daredevil show, but we're going
to keep us keeping us on a cliffhanger. Samir, what's your favorite color and it better be blue?
Dark blue, dark blue.
Orange, I'm a monster.
Go, pal. I love Born Again and the Netflix version, but there was definitely some filler episodes
when they were making 13 at a time. I agree that you can see that there were a few episodes
where they were like, okay, okay, and then once they really kicked into, they knew what
the show was going to be.
Moving.
Samir, Chris Carr, make you want to jump, jump.
Oh, thanks.
A little crisscross.
Yeah.
Yeah, I like that.
Go, pal, there are only six seasons of the boys if you count Gen B as one.
That's fair.
I believe Gen B season two comes out next month and Soldier Boy is a prequel coming too.
It's true.
That is true.
Samir, hey, Chris, did you see Alien Earth and the cat scene?
No, you haven't seen Alien Earth, right?
No, apparently I need to, though.
So this makes it seem like there should be reaction.
to the show. I think everyone has been talking about the show. So I was going to watch the last night, but it was an out yet. Um, but it would probably be out today. So I got to see if the audience would care. Hey, Luke, are you watching? If you're watching, we do a poll on the community post and see if people would want to see a reaction to the alien show. Isaiah Smith, I wouldn't want a weapons prequel. Not everything needs to be explained and better left the mystery. Finally become a member for the Lord of the Rings watch. I love that. I guess you know what's funny is that man, I'm so curious to see how those Lord of the Rings, uh,
reactions do because when I announced that Sam had watched it because we know we did a live show Chris in in New York together on Saturday of the and when I announced that she did Lord of the Rings it was like the Rock showed up at a wrestling match like they people the whole place thunderous applause and I was like okay I guess I think people are excited for the Lord of the Rings reactions I'm not sure I mean Thunderbolts did pretty well so I'm wondering how that's going to do we'll see I hope just everyone needs to be really nice because I know when Roxy's was a
watching them over on real rejects.
Some Tolkien fans were little butholes.
And I need you all to be real sweet little angels.
So Roxy made a great point yesterday.
She said two things.
One, when she watched it, it was two people who hadn't seen it.
Yeah.
And it was two women who hadn't seen it, right?
Sam is watching with me and I've seen it.
And I've seen them many times over.
So there are things that she didn't understand or other things I was there.
Plus, yeah, I wonder.
I wonder how it's going to go.
we'll see. Plus, Sam doesn't look at the comments anyway, so it really doesn't.
That's true. I trust this community.
Yeah. Go, pal. My feeling is a lot of this boys' season four criticism would have accidentally
match U.S. current events too closely and once I wasn't happy, how they look. My feeling
is a lot of this boy's season four criticism was that it accidentally matched U.S.
current events too closely and one side I wasn't happy. But I think that's the way that they
have been doing it since the beginning, though. Yeah. Well, I think people just finally
kind of put the pieces together because it was such a
clear parallel this time.
Yeah.
James Kirby.
Chris,
you're a manager girl or anime?
A yes.
A manga girl or an anime?
So typically,
so you can't really see right now.
I have a whole bunch of my manga backup here.
But usually,
usually these days I'm more anime
because Crunchyroll is incredible.
Oh my gosh.
I freaking love Crunchyroll.
There's everything on there.
But I do love a good manga.
And if I can,
if I really fall in love with a show,
I like to go back and read that and kind of compare and contrast and see what the differences are.
Why don't you roll to me, the reason why I like it so much is because I don't think I've ever even visited.
But every time I hear it, I think a sushi and it gets hungry.
Yeah, it's great.
Yeah.
James Kirby.
Let's go chat.
Let's get her to 150.
You get to 150.
She's got a-
50.
She's got to win.
Damn.
So that's what I think.
Okay.
Let's see.
The next one.
After that, again, thank you to James Kirby.
Currently at 54, James Kirby follows it up.
I'm pretty sure Big Balls has black squirrel friends.
Oh, easily.
Easily.
Big Balls is invited to the cookout, I would assume.
Yeah.
And he should be.
Yeah, he's, I mean, come on.
He's, uh, he's the best.
And he's, he's been on kind of sparingly.
I think he'll probably, um, show up on the goofballs also, you know?
That makes sense.
Yeah.
It makes sense.
because him and him and brett have a good rapport for sure uh james kirby next time coy is away we've got to get
chris on caves yeah i mean chris is great like she's been on gays before yeah when i have so much
fun with them too coy's great love winston oh my gosh they're so sweet james kirby harlowe favorite
food spot in the bronx i i can't pretend that i've been to the bronx enough to know the food spot
minus yankee stadium um i don't have a a favorite food spot in the bronx because i don't i don't
know enough about it.
But I would say
that the food at Yankee Stadium
was surprisingly a lot better than I thought it would be.
For sure.
Have you seen, you've seen the original
Satopia, of course you have.
Yeah.
James Kirby.
Rest day or workout day?
What'd you work? Today was a rest day.
Today was a rest day.
So my days have been Monday is legs.
Tuesday is chest and back.
Wednesday is off. Thursday is
buys and tries and then Friday's.
his shoulders.
But I've been doing my walking pad.
Well, I've been just so what I've been doing since February.
And so, and abs now, I was supposed to do.
They're not supposed to do, but it was recommended to do two days a week.
I've been doing four.
So James Kirby, favorite protein meal.
Got a love grilled salmon.
I do like grilled salmon.
I want to do more grilled salmon, but I've been doing a lot of the thin kind of chicken
breast and some pepper and some lemon.
James Kirby, running low on material.
someone else tag in thank you james thanks james it's fine cody erickson have you watched twisted metal i
played i heard it's really good but i haven't watched it i played the game as a kid love the show
dexter new seasons also peak much love yankees yankees suck go blue jays um i'm going to take that you said
much love yankees and suck go blue jays yeah suck go blue jays and this is why punctuation's important
look what you did that's right so much love to the yankees and suck go blue jays how about that
suck go right now. I will say that.
James Kirby,
who says, live action
my hero, actually, as, as
Tamara Shikari.
No.
I don't know enough about what is.
This sounds like this to me.
My hero is a really great,
wonderful little anime that is
about essentially a world where everyone has
quirks, so everyone has superpowers.
Some are powerful than others, and it's a school
for becoming a superhero that's very prestigious.
to get into.
Timmy Chalame is too cool.
Oh, I see.
He's too cool.
Oh, wait, wait, for tomorrow, Shigakari.
No.
That could be weird.
That could be cool.
Okay.
Don H.
Looking forward to the Jared Pellicki and Jensen Eckles
reunion of season five than the boys,
I'm looking forward to that too.
That would be fun.
And I'm sure that that Jensen Eklis made that happen.
I know they had kind of like a,
I don't say falling out,
but there was a rift between the tour,
but at one point.
And I'm glad that they,
it looks like they have put that to rest.
Harvest K, fun fact, James Gunn, Mainsday, Michaela Hoover, who is Cat Grant and Superman is the voice of Chopper in One Piece Season 2. That's cool.
And she sounds so cute.
That's cool.
Tim Simp.
Great Tim Simp.
Even though we are in the last few weeks of the summer season, is it safe to say that the biggest summer movie by box office is Jurassic World Rebirth?
Summer movies?
I think summer movies, yes.
And Best Summer Movie by Critics is Weapons.
If so, it's something of comic book films.
I would say both of those.
I see both of that is accurate.
I think if you look at Rotten Tomatoes, I say the score probably backs up what you're saying there.
And I think if you look at box office, what you're saying there worldwide.
Domestically, though, Tim, domestically, I think Superman is, if you look at the States,
I think Superman is the number one movie of the summer domestically.
But if you look at overall, then yes, then your points are valid.
But I would say that I'm with you, but I think the argument can be made that in the States,
Superman is still the champion of the summer for, you know,
comic for films.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Mr.
Penguin with Captain Planet and the Planet Tears supposedly being made,
old each he had old archers could work as a movie today?
What old E had?
Yeah, E had.
What old cartoons could work as a movie today?
I'll tell you which one that would want to see.
There's an animated show.
Do you know this?
It's called Black Star.
Yes.
I would love to see Black Star become a movie.
That'd be cool.
Yeah, it'd be great.
Yeah.
Do you have any that you think?
The stuff I watched as a kid was so weird.
Like, Cowboys of Mo Mesa should not be a live action show.
That'd be trash.
But I loved it with all my heart.
Well, it's funny because, you know, I was saying this yesterday.
There's some, there's just like, there's certain things in animation just doesn't transfer over.
I mean, I look at, I was using rebels as an example.
Like you can write certain things.
And I thought Rebels was great.
I loved Rebels.
And there are certain things that you can write in an animation and make visually look that comes off goofy when you do it in live action.
I think Asoka is an example of that.
Like there's the way that they put some of the stuff they do in Asoka, like you could tell.
I was like, oh, this was on, this is one of Filoni's animated show.
This would be a great scene.
Like the stupid zombie stormtroopers that they had.
I was like, if that was animated, that would be a great scene.
But because it was live action, it was borderline morrow.
ironic. Sean McCabe. Oh, yeah. Gargoyles. That's a great one. I remember that one too.
Sean McCabe. What's up, Sean? Hey, guys, taking my daughter to see the re-release of Inception for her
birthday. When is, when is that happening? When is there a re-release of Inception? I didn't even know.
I thought, I knew there was a re-release. I didn't know. When is that? Any Nolan movie you want
to see again in theater. That one. He watched him. That's my favorite Nolan movie.
is inception.
So yeah. Oh my goodness.
I'm not finding when it's coming out.
Oh my goodness.
Brandon Summers.
Story time. My dad showed me the thing
an alien in the same summer when I was 10 years old.
Oh my goodness.
Ruin body horror,
body snatching movies forever. Yeah,
that's probably pretty scary and creepy at 10 years old.
So now I just read the plots of movies shows like Alien Earth on Wikipedia.
She's like you.
That's what I do.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, because I saw, and I know people don't think it's even scary, but I saw the It
miniseries when I was way too young.
Yeah.
Because it was on TV.
And it scared the but Jesus out of me.
And you know, it's funny.
I think that it's just the Stephen King thing because in both the movies and the miniseries,
the first half is significantly scarier than the second half.
Yeah.
That's why I keep being told about these latest ones.
James Kirby, a live events, a question you don't get that that you want?
I don't know that.
I don't understand that one, James.
DJK support.
Oh,
he said random nonsense to boost numbers.
Fair.
Julius Wyatt.
I hope Sam likes my favorite movies of all time Friday.
What are you going to find out?
You are going to find out the Lil Yankee.
No, Chris.
Stay away from that cat scene in Alien Earth.
Uh-oh.
Oh,
thanks for watching out.
I'm probably still going to watch it, but thank you.
James Kirby trying to get you to that win.
66.
Chris,
you are only less than 20 away.
Guys, thank you so much.
Yes.
Okay, Harvest Cake.
Christian, you've been to Flushing for the Chinese food.
I need to go.
Look, I went to school in Flushing high school.
So I haven't been back in quite a bit.
But give me some recommendations.
I'm some good Chinese places.
And my wife has been craving some good Chinese food.
Laland doesn't have the best Chinese foot.
I'll be honest with it.
Joshua Miller, longtime watcher, first time super chair.
Thank you, Joshua.
Gotta support Chris.
Look at that.
With everything going on in Doomsday,
do you think they'll fit Dr. Strange,
they'll fit the Dr. Strange Clia story.
Not in Doomsday.
No,
but I think if they do another Dr. Strange movie,
which they discussed,
then that's where it'll happen,
but no.
Yeah,
it's already so stuffed.
Agreed.
All right,
let's see.
James Kirby,
bacon and cheese must go on burgers.
It must.
I'll tell you,
like a good cheat for me is barbecue sauce
with some ranch
out of bacon and cheese burger.
Oh, my goodness.
And some jalapinos too.
Yeah, that's what I got to do.
James Kirby, really,
James Kirby is trying to push you over the line here.
James Kirby, you're the best.
Thank you.
James Kirby again.
Chris, where do you stand on the UAPs?
Any stories?
Oh, how about that?
I am open to them,
but I do not have any stories or anything of that.
I think it's very, very short-sighted
to think that we are the only things existing in this universe,
that our planet is the only one that's inhibited.
But yeah, I don't have any, I don't have any stories with, with noting phenomena.
Well, did you, I mean, so I just posted this on my, on my, my channel, my UFO channel yesterday.
But so they, right now, the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, basically was on, was on a podcast and essentially kind of confirmed,
said that there's enough evidence that she believes
that there's alien life up there. This is
from national security.
So what does that mean? Does that mean anything
kind of moving forward? Does that mean that they're trying to divert attention?
I don't know what it means. But there's a lot of other things going on that people are,
I'm surprised more people, that that story wasn't covered.
More was crazy.
Sean McCabe says, Inception, weekend of August 22nd.
That's pretty great. Oh, nice.
Yeah. That's great.
Um, okay, Christopher Brickner.
There's a chance that audiences have little interest in moving forward on the Star Wars timeline after episode nine.
So Lucasum should just do the one film right now that test the water and I plan for 10 films.
I totally agree with you on that.
I totally agree with you on that.
I think that the way you test the waters is you throw Starfighter in there and Starfighter is set in that era.
But it would be a mistake not to set up the world or the galaxy of how it's shaped in during it to see
if there's interest like oh i want to know more about that um that's what they should try to do
and don't say well we're doing this movie then we're doing a ray movie and then we're doing this
i couldn't agree with you more but that's not what they're going to do they're going to announce
75 different movies and one of them will will be made yeah um James Kirby do you think to ever
remake the movie species i'm surprised they haven't done it already do you remember that movie
Natasha Hendridge they made like four they mean i think there's a couple of them
But yeah, that seems like something they do.
Yeah. There was no beef between Jared and Jensen.
The dust up. And in 2021, no big deal.
They've been back to being best to these for years now.
I've seen the McCons all as well. I love that.
That's great.
It's great.
I guess I can reveal this now.
I don't know if I ever talked about this on the air.
I had a, it must have been an hour long phone call with Jensen Eccles.
It was a Skype meeting with him and his wife.
This is during the height of a, well, the pandemic for sure.
shmowdown digital and we were very close in doing a supernatural schmodeown event with them and doing a big thing like it was it was
getting closer close and close and we had a very long meeting and talk he they were they were great
big fans them but but i never talked about it because it was like i was so excited to almost we almost
got it and i was like i bet fans are going to lose their minds and then it fell through but i don't know
i ever talked about that there you go um james kirby watch along with the show the boondocks
I mean, it's, it's old.
That's, that's, that's, that's, that I mean?
Yeah, it's an animated series from years ago with Virginia King.
It was so funny.
Oh, okay.
No, I don't, I don't know enough about it.
Sam, I think Sam will love it, James Kirby.
Sam's so tied up right now.
This is why I'm trying to get these virtual things going because I want to get Chris involved.
I want to get Winston involved.
I want to get everybody else involved too.
I want to get some more stuff.
Yeah, I want this, there's so many, there's so much more I want to be able to
do and you know animated shows i want to watch anime with with step so this will be a lot
simon texon black star you mean that tour where you can light up his chest by clicking on his
back like a lighter i broke mine thought thoughts on three eye atlas heading here i three eye alice that's
that's that's the thing that avie lobe is talking about the three eye atlas i think so that's what
he's talking about um let me double check three eye atlas that's that yeah that's the um
cell object seen in the stunning new Hubble that's huddling towards Earth is what they said.
And so Avi Loeb saying that it could be,
um,
this is a Harvard guy who said that could actually be extraterrestrial and not,
not friendly, but who the hell knows that that's,
who knows? Um, but as my thoughts are, I, I don't know anything.
Um, but as far as Black Star, I don't know, I think that you can click
that has got a chance. I'm not sure, but it was like, it was really where the,
the animation of the, the animation of like, He-Man,
before Heeman was a thing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Ryan Jones, the way some people talk about BV casting,
how do they read over 1,100 chapters and I realize that they would be bad guys in the story?
I'm telling you, media literacy.
This is the same thing when people like come after Star Wars and you do that.
You realize that you're the empire, right?
You realize that you'd be a Sith.
Yeah, there's so much One Piece.
How can you get it so wrong of going?
off that way
Jogito. Support. I miss seeing Chris. I stopped flying camp a while ago
because reasons. Got to get Chris a win. She's getting close.
81. Thanks. 81, guys. She is
two away from tying.
Two away from tying Mike and Roxy.
And if you want her to secure, in order to beat capes
coming in Friday, she's got to get to that Hyundai spot. But again, it's 131.
James Kirby, I want to see Chris Pratt as Batman,
stretches him as an actor and puts him in a new light,
not just a goof.
Ooh.
I just think he's too far removed.
I think it's going to be very hard to see him as Batman, though.
Yeah.
Yeah, someone a little bit more unknown.
Yeah, I'm not sure.
Callie Kid, what do you think about combination pizza?
I love it.
It depends on the combinations.
Like pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom?
Sure, why not?
Yeah.
Do you think pineapple is offensive?
The answer is yes.
But it also depends.
Like if it was like a, like when they go to like California pizza kitchen, right?
And it's like specialty pizzas where they throw everything on the pizzas and say someone's eating pineapple on it.
Fine.
If you go into a if you go into like a authentic like pizza area and they throw pineapples on it, you should be thrown out of the country.
That's very fair.
Yeah.
Joshua Gonzalez.
Chris watching boondocks would be epic.
You've seen it.
before though yeah yeah j case with some support j case with some support jim one i find it fascinating that
some americans change her accent when they changed states dan faced out his arkansas accent how common
is this i think that he faced face it out you mean he faced out when he moved from arkansas to
uh to l i don't even i didn't even know he had an accent like for me mine goes in and out my wife
says i'm getting mine back now i don't think well and i don't think it's a totally american thing too
because if you go to, you know, UK and London, the dialect changes every few miles and everything, too.
I know mine has. And if I'm around other Southerners or if I've talked to my family recently,
my Southern really comes out. Or if I've had like two bourbons, then then I'm full swamp donkey.
All right. Let's see. It's good James Kirby. Okay, she's winning. I can go shower now. She's in the league.
Thank you for your service. Yes. She's in the lead at 92. She has taken past.
Mike and Roxy. So now it's just now it's just giving her safety net. Ryan S. I watched Chris for
years time for a win. Support for Chris. Callie Kidd. Have you ever been to new Beverly or
Bista theater? New Beverly. Yes. So good. Um, okay. 92 that's far Chris. Chris,
crushing more support. Okay. Really. Gee. Thank you. John Burckhart. Hey, Chris, have you
read the comic curse words? It's weird and I'm loving it. Seems like something you would enjoy.
I haven't even heard of this.
Oh my gosh.
I will definitely check this out.
Let me know who writes this.
I'm going to Google this real quick so I won't forget it.
Jim 1.
I was in Raw at Quebec City on Monday.
Great crowd.
Yeah, I heard it was pretty solid.
Oh, cool.
Joshua Miller.
Gotta get Chris.
What's, get that win?
What's for lunch today?
For me, I had some shredded chicken, some rice and some greens.
How about you?
I'm doing chicken and broccoli.
I got, I, I, I, I,
all the COVID weight that I put on, man, I got to figure it out.
I'm yeah, it's it's funny. I'm just been like, I go to my, I do my cheat meals. I do those,
but Callie kid, do you believe in ghosts? I think that what I say now more so,
and I've been saying, especially since doing the DTE show, I don't definitively say yes or no
what I think is real and what isn't because I don't believe, I think that human beings in general
really believe that they have a lock on what is and what isn't. And I think,
think we don't know anything, especially when it comes to like time and space and other things
of what people could perceive as potential ghosts, who knows what quantum physics might say about that
and what actual consciousness is and all those other things. So the answer is I don't know. I don't
know about you, Chris. I'm more in the camp of no, but that's just also because I hope that when I
die, that's it. I hope there's nothing else. You want nothing else? I don't think that's the case.
I hope there's nothing.
You just want to go sleep and that's up.
Yeah.
All right.
James Kirby, I'm in Illinois, I guess, and I only sound like a New York kid when I'm pissed.
That's fair.
Yeah, I get it.
Scott B.
became a member.
That's great.
Philly G.
Sport for Chris.
James Kirby, get Chris to over 100.
Johnny Bravo.
Does it bother you when big names stars get cast for voice roles and they make no
adjustments to adapt their voice to the character?
That's a question for Chris.
Yeah, sometimes it does.
Mostly just because it's, you can tell when it's phoned in.
You can tell when it's bad.
You can also tell when it's being augmented with technology.
That said, though, you look at the cast of like 2018's Ducktails.
Yeah.
Those guys do a great job.
They're wonderful.
They're so well cast.
They do excellent work.
But then you even see like when some of the regular actors come back to do what if,
they don't do a good job because it's a different medium of acting.
And sometimes you can just really tell, especially in interviews where it's, oh, I love voiceover.
I just have to read and wear my pajamas.
Yeah, we know.
We know that's how you're doing it.
Right.
But that's not how you're supposed to do it.
Callie Kid, have you ever had a Philly cheese steak pizza?
Yes.
And they're pretty good.
They're pretty good.
I'll be honest.
Yeah.
DJ Case, 10 more membership from DJ Case.
Oh, holy moly.
Dang.
This is the last one for now.
Last one for now.
Again, like I said, I think that there's a possibility that, you know, with the
Capes, guys, you never know.
103 is a nice number, though.
So yeah, 103.
It's a great number.
Pierre.
What's up, Pierre?
Does the bear ever evolve past two dudes yelling at each other?
Couldn't get that episode two.
Hashtack, bad news, Chris, hashtag Superman kills.
That's hilarious.
He did that.
He did that conversation.
So there's, look, the last, if you, if you're not, if that's the way you perceive
the show, then you're going to hate the season finale, because there's a lot of
yelling.
I feel a lot of it was improv.
So no, it doesn't.
And I don't mind that.
Jim one, Dan shared an old video with the Southern accent.
I'd love to see that.
Oh, okay.
See Michael T.
Will you watch DCU with Sam, Superman,
Peacemaker Season 1 and 2?
What's he see?
And maybe a suicide squad?
Creature Commandos.
No, probably not Christian Commandos.
And so I think she would really dig it.
Also, Chris Carr, for the win.
The show is the best.
you see Michael Tia. It's very kind. You know what's funny is that, so I'm bringing in a new friend,
my friend we refer to him as Ming. And so he hasn't seen any of the DCU. The problem was the big change
that James Gunn did this week. I was going to have Sam do the DCU and we were going to start with
Superman and peacemaker and everything too, because she's going to be back next week. James Gunn announced
instead of the 26th for Superman comes out this Friday. So I might have, I might,
started with me not sure it's a good one to get him introduced to the audience uh so yeah
james kirby indiana not illinois um too offended i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry
tellby support for chris they're pushing you pushing you you're gonna get it to break the record
here see probably not but uh because the records in like the 300 i was gonna say probably probably
not but we're breaking my record yeah you're crushing your record but uh but we were when we did the um
We did that the Marvel stream with the chairs.
I think we hit like anywhere between three or four hundred,
something crazy.
We were on the air for like five hours.
Oh,
yeah,
Christopher Bruckner,
after decades of legend stories about it,
fans wanted to be well past the point of rebuilding the Jedi and Republic
by the time the sequels came out.
That's true also, yeah.
Yeah.
Let's see,
Ms. Tax D.
I hope Chris wins this week.
114 is a good thing.
Look,
the more she gets,
the bigger cushion she gets.
So James Kirby,
and we still have 20 minutes to play with.
Pierre putting in support.
There you know.
Harves, one more bit of support.
Go, Chris.
Thank you, Harves.
James Kirby, congratulations, Chris, love and blessing to all.
There you go.
James Kirby, you're a legend.
Pierre again.
I love Pierre.
Best and worst movie you've watched this summer.
Worst is easy.
Worst is easy.
Smurfs.
I was not going to look about it.
It was terrible.
It was absolutely terrible.
Smurfs was the worst. The best, the summer.
Man, I don't know. It's a tie between weapons and F1.
Ooh. I think, I mean, I keep watching it. So the best to me has been K-pop demon hunters.
I keep watching that movie over and over again. And worst, worst,
honestly, I think is Jurassic just because I was just so, uh, about it. I rather would come out indignant, you know?
That's fair. Point Emperor, support for Chris. First win.
Here's to many more.
Okay.
They're really trying here.
Billy G.
Support for Chris.
The audience supporting and then some to the beloved Chris Carr.
Joshua Mosca,
I checked out weapons this week and I loved it.
But it's the last movie I go to scene theaters.
The audience had people not even trying to whisper and others who recorded themselves
every other scene.
We need ushers.
That's the problem.
That is the problem.
This is what we've been talking about.
It ruined.
So, let's say Joshua.
And he goes,
you know what?
Everybody keeps talking about this movie.
I haven't been in the movies in a while.
I'm going to go check out the movies. It's be fun to go back to the movies. And he goes and
enjoys the movie, but his experience is completely destroyed by people who can't behave themselves.
And the theater goes, how can people are going to theaters? Because you're not policing anybody.
People act like absolute animals in theaters now. It's the work. It's horrible. That's why I usually
go to the ridiculous, like, if I can see a show around 10 a.m. in the morning, I'm going to.
Because it's going to be just me and other people who want silence.
100% or you go to freaking
or you go to
press screenings.
That's it.
James Kirby,
okay,
I'm going to watch my butt for now.
Okay,
go ahead, James.
Later guys.
Yeah,
thank you.
James helping you get
really far today.
Ryan, Chris,
do you have a favorite character
that you voice?
Of characters that I do
that people would know.
In true noir,
where I'm with Michael Rosenbaum,
I get to kind of use my natural voice
but with a little bit of like
transatlantic in there, which is cool, because it's set in Prohibition Era, but probably
just getting to do like badass villains. I'm in the game Bladen Soul. And so it's a lower register.
So the entire time she kind of talks down here. She's a leather-clad woman. She kicks a lot of ass and
is super hot. She's fun. And I'd never play her on camera. So I always love those kind of parts.
When you did that voice kind of reminds me of Vi from Arcane.
Oh, hell yeah. Thank you.
Armada. Remember that episode on John Campi's show, Chris, when Ray said he only goes to the mall for a corn dog talking about moonfall?
That should have me in tears. What happened? I love that.
We were just talking about like something at the mall. And Ray was just like, you only go to a mall for a corn dog. That's why I go. He's the best. Right? Or is the funniest person in the world. I love him so much. And he's so sweet and thoughtful. I love him. Yeah, Ray is a good, a good dude.
Christopher Bickner.
Biggest summer box office film was Lilo and Stitch.
Yeah.
Did anybody say it wasn't?
Oh, I guess maybe that, who won?
Question, would it be Jurassic?
He was asking.
Oh, oh, oh, okay.
I hear he's saying.
Yeah, was that, was Lilo and Stitch summer, though?
Maybe you're right.
Maybe you're right.
Maybe you're right.
It could be.
and Stitch, it all blends together.
Yeah, you're right.
It was May 23rd.
You're 100% right.
It was the biggest movie of the summer.
Yeah.
So there you go.
And why I still,
I've said this a million times over, Chris Carr,
that animated films,
like the,
whether it's Zootopia coming out,
Lilo and Stitch,
how to train your dragon, not animated, but still more family-oriented
films. If you hit the family kids films,
if you need,
nail those and you get that right, you are going to get a close, you had a shot to make a
billion dollars because there's, there's, I'm telling you as a dad, there's not a lot for kids
to see in the theater. There's just not a lot for them to see. So you can get them into the theater
and make it enjoyable for everybody to watch, then you're going to hit it. So yes, Christopher,
you're right. It is. Drew, 94, love for Chris will be in New York and September. Chris,
any recommendations on good events? I'll tell you what. I don't know when Dave Portnoisse's
pizza fest is happening, but I would look for that.
I'm going to try to go to that too.
Yeah, that's it.
But I mean, I would look at Madison Square Garden, UBS Arena,
look at those things, see what's on when you're in town.
And then just explore Manhattan.
Shuddering Fro, Christian, long time listener,
first time caller, thank you, Suttering Fro.
Is that my buddy, Fro?
The goofball song got me hype for the show.
I have a plethora of things to say, but, but, but.
Well, let's, if you're happy to be hyped, let's hype you up again.
I get hyped about us seeing it too.
I can't wait.
That is my buddy.
It's going to be fun.
It's going to be fun.
James Kirby,
I lied.
I need Peter and Johnny to become best friends in the MCU.
That would be peak comic book movie gold.
It would be pretty good.
Peter and Johnny together on screen is going to be a lot of fun.
Yeah.
Unknown D.
Christian, if you do watch anime,
I believe, Attack on Titan, that would be the one that I would start.
Would turn you into a fan your reality.
actions would be golden. It's like Game of Thrones is that's peak.
That's the one that I would do that I would do.
Because everyone's told me that unknown.
Yeah. So I think that that's the one probably I'd either watch that with Steph
or Chris. I don't know if Steph's ever seen it, but I'm assuming you've seen it.
I've seen season one. Okay. And then I was like, I don't know if this one's for me.
The animation is a little. All right. So maybe other people love it.
We'll see. Josh Miller, favorite K-pop demon hunter song, Chris.
Oh, this is what it sounds like. It's the best one. The
big song in the arena at the end when they deal with chemo.
Yeah, yeah.
The Cali kid.
I lived in a house with many strange occurrences.
I was a skeptic, but multiple appliances got cracked with no apparent reason.
And I found out one of the previous residences died here of a stroke.
I mean, that kind of stuff does happen all the time.
Pretty crazy.
Wait, did they die in the place that you rented?
Did they not disclose that to you?
I know.
If you didn't disclose it, you can get a discount on rent.
DJ Case, you remember the first R-rated movie, your parents let you see in theaters.
Mine was T2.
I have a debate with my,
mom on this all of the time because I remember two rated our movies that I saw at a very,
very young age, both I shouldn't have seen.
One was Beverly Hills cop and one was Vision Quest.
Now, my mom swears that she didn't take me to see Beverly Hills Cop, but I remember because she
didn't know what it was like when we saw it.
She wasn't sure, but my mom does not spend money on a movie then leaves.
She said we spent money on it and we're watching her.
And that movie came out before Vision Quest.
So I would say it was very host come.
I can't think of what mine was in theaters.
Because at home, we've talked about this.
I watched all the Mel Brooks movies and stuff.
That's that.
I shouldn't have seen.
But my dad was like, yeah, who cares?
So just a real, an update with 13 minutes to spare.
13 minutes spare, you're at 1337.
So you've got a very nice cushion.
But the audience is taking you a place where you could blow this thing out of the water.
And it's, it's now, now,
now you're getting to a place that it could be hard for capes to catch you.
And you're in the early hundreds.
I'm like,
those guys can get there.
But 138,
you get past,
you keep building like this.
And you,
you're,
you're looking good here,
Chris Carr.
Zombie Rattle with a very donor,
a generous one.
Love the show,
Christian,
watched you for years.
Thank you,
Zombie Rattle.
Hi,
Chris.
She's the best.
This is a great addition to the show.
Amazing V-O coach,
go take the classes,
you'll.
So I assume that you said,
this is my student,
Joe,
and this is,
yeah,
he's the best.
Oh man, he's so, so good and talented.
He does this Charles Xavier voice that is so good.
Yeah.
It's incredible.
That is pretty great.
Very, very generous, very kind.
And look at that.
Now, John has helped you get to 138 starting fro, but, but will take forever.
That was good.
Continuing on to his previous one that took forever to get there.
I like that joke, fro.
Haskell 420.
Hey, guys, Christian, you haven't seen Primes War of the Worlds yet.
Smurfs may look like an honest.
Oscar contender. It's so bad it needs your reaction.
Maybe, maybe, maybe so.
Maybe I just do that one by myself of anything to.
Busy B.
Missed today's show, but support for Chris.
Busy Breesie,
miss the good show today, but good news on the,
look, you have the Eclipse channel.
You've got the replay.
So, and you got Spotify.
Jim one. After Zelda,
Nintendo should adapt classic 90s games,
golden eye into a movie.
Pierce Brasden would be perfect for the role if he was 30 years younger.
I mean, yeah.
There's going to be AI movies soon, I'm sure, with Pierce Bros.
Nasda.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
Sean McCabe loved the Thunderbolt's reaction last year's good time.
That was a lot of fun.
That was a good one.
Yeah, it was a really good.
I think you're going to dig the Lord of the Rings one, too.
Good ones.
James Kirby, I think they'll, do you think they'll try live action,
Dragon Ball Z again?
They've tried it a couple of times, huh?
I'm sure they'll try it.
Yeah.
I just don't know if they'll be able to have that one piece magic.
I remember, I worked at, I'm pretty sure the guy that he was a friend of mine.
He was an intern at the time at Silver and he was a big Dragon Ball guy.
Big.
And he made a bet with me that Dragon Ball and that movie came out back in 2005 or whatever it was
that it was going to make like at the time like an insane amount of money.
He might even set a billion dollars back then.
And I said there was no world with that.
movie even makes a hundred million dollar or whatever it was and we had this that he never paid me up
on the bet but whatever um but i beat him and it was like because the movie was terrible and he
he said they ruined he said they ruined it because he's like if they would have captured the
essence of what it was that it would have said it's such a massive audience i don't know if they're
going to do it because of the fact that if there's so many attempts what the studios always do
And I think wrongfully, so it's like, well, nobody else can crack this so we can't.
And then you find that one creator that has the balls to try to do it, and then they make it happen.
Simon section, this three eye atlas, whatever does or doesn't get reported, do you think it will rewrite upcoming UFO film projects like Spielberg, Nolan, or J.C.'s avatar.
I don't know if it's going to rewrite any of that stuff because I don't necessarily know.
So there's a documentary, Chris, that's that debuted at South by Southwest called the agent.
of disclosure. And Dan Farrah, who was one of the producers on Ready Player 1 and worked kind of,
I assume, closely with Spielberg. He directed this project. And it was a lot of military personnel,
politicians, people who were very close to the subject. And it, and it's essentially kind of
showing about the reverse engineering program that the government has been, or that people have
been covering up. And a lot of inside of the government that wants to get to the truth of it.
Now this thing debuted at South by and it had rave reviews and it was like,
okay, well, there's a no brain is going to be picked up and it's been kind of, well,
where is it?
People are still waiting.
Where is it?
Where is it?
It's going to be picked up by Netflix.
It's getting picked up by Amazon.
Where is it?
My theory is that it's going to get picked up and it's going to come out closer to when
Steven Spielberg's movie is going to come out to get the topic talked about even more.
And then, because still in Spielberg's movie is supposed to be about,
disclosure from what the reports say. So I don't think that this asteroid will have anything to do with that. I don't know.
We'll see. Smart timing though. Yeah, it would be. It'd be great if it lines up. Chris here at 150 with eight minutes to go.
150. That is a tough number for anybody to beat on any given day. Joyous Romer made the force be with you guys. Hey, Chris, why is the Star Wars news so slow this month?
It's for both of us, I guess. Yeah. Why is it so slow? Because there's nothing to report, really?
it's also, I mean, it's been, and I think the excitement is, we always talked about how if you look at it in sports terms where back in the day, baseball was America's pastime and football overtook it, right?
Star Wars was like the major franchise. There was nothing that could beat Star Wars. It was the major franchise. Marvel has surpassed it.
Lord of the Rings has surpassed it. D.C. has surpassed it. Many things have have surpassed it. It needs to get back.
and it needs to get the audience back
and it needs one big one movie
can get people excited again.
I don't know if it can revitalize the whole franchise
but it can and you got to show an actual plan.
Deacon some support for the woodlands, Chris.
Shut up. Are you from the woodlands too?
There you go.
Okay, that's my little town in Texas.
I love it.
James Kirby.
Chris's favorite pillar and demon slayer.
Are you going to see that?
I'm going to see it soon.
Oh, hell yeah.
I'm so excited about it.
Okay, so pillar, that's the Hashira.
because it's one of the few things that didn't get localized in the translation because Hashira is such a cool phrase.
So they kept that instead of making it pillar in English.
Oh, gosh, I really love Rangoku, who was the flame pillar.
He's really rad.
And then the love pillar.
I think she's just precious.
I love her.
She's really cute with her pink and green hair.
Ken Roji, I think is her name?
You guys correct me if I'm wrong.
All right.
Shea Markell, Chris,
Christian, it was a pleasure meeting you and Sam.
It was awesome meeting you, Shea.
We got to meet some peeps.
I met Shea at the end.
And we met a lot of the people who had just been supporting the channel.
And it was absolutely amazing, amazing to meet everybody in the support that you guys brought.
Thank you, Shea.
She's one of the biggest supporters on their channel.
Mistax-D, whose channel's goop balls?
On this one, MF?
Tomorrow, probably around, I'm shooting around like between three.
three or four o'clock tomorrow.
Busy B, support for the pups.
Hell yeah. There you go.
Thank you.
Oh, look at that. James Kirby.
Chris, favorite swordsman in anime?
I like Zorro and O.P.
Ooh.
I mean, I really do love Demon Slayer so much.
So I probably, Ten G.
Yeah.
I love him.
Philly G.
First R-rated movie for me was War the Roses.
Wow.
When I was 12.
My brother worked at the theater.
I got me in. That's a, that's a memory you're always going to have. Dang. Yeah. So,
Shea, I'm glad that you brought this up. I asked. She was like, I'm on my way to see weapons when I
saw it when I met him. Uh, I enjoyed it. What a fun ride. He was like, he was literally, where'd you go to
empire? Is that where you went? I think he went to the empire. Uh, joyous Romer. Hey, Christian,
is Chris beating Roxie? She beat the piss out of Roxy and, uh, and Mike this week.
By like 70. Yeah, but like 70. Um, now she really has, now Steph and, uh, she beat the
And capes and cows.
I keep saying, I did this to you yesterday and I did this to Steph today.
And I apologize to both of you yesterday and wrong.
I was clearly wrong.
I said to and I caught myself immediately when I said it.
Because after, after Roxy and my kid 83, I said, okay, well, now it's up to the
capes and cows guys to to win.
And I completely just disregarded you and Steph wrongfully so.
I apologize clearly.
Typically fair though.
Maybe not.
Historically fair.
Maybe there's a new standard here.
I don't know.
The audience has said enough is enough with Chris Car being in the basement here.
Ryan S. Chris is the queen this week.
She's certainly in the leader position.
She's in the leader position.
Sean McCabe, Christian, working on something special for you.
You don't need to do any more special for me.
You did enough.
You've done enough for me, my friend.
Darien, Chris, Mary Elizabeth Winston,
had nothing on you.
Oh, that is so nice.
As someone who is always referred to as Kirkland, Mary Elizabeth Winston, I appreciate you.
Busy beat.
Chris, what is the scariest movie you've ever seen?
Oh, God.
I couldn't tell you.
And it's probably not even that scary to the rest of you.
I genuinely have got nothing.
I don't know what off the top of my head.
I've seen some scarier than that.
I don't know.
Most recently, Woman in Black, but that's not even that scary.
didn't scare me that much.
That's creepy.
That's creepy.
I'm with Daniel Wackle?
I think of something.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's creepy.
Callie Kid,
do you hold your remote control on the left or right hand, right hand?
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
Unknown.
I usually only catch a live show, but I'd watch all your reactions on attack on Titan.
Okay.
I mean, I've heard that.
I've heard that.
Michael D.
For the cushion, hashtag first win for Chris.
You're getting close.
It's going to, I can't wait to see, at least Winston and Coy's face when they hear what the number is going to be.
uh james kirby i called 150 my job here is done it's it's it's a 159 she's she's approaching 200
billy g i love sam just make sure she doesn't drop in earlier for the next couple of shows
that's the truth do you so do you know what happened last week no on capes and cowles roxy and
mike were um were poised to win and they they they were Winston and coy were down by like 13 or 14
were like five or ten minutes left to go in the show we're about to shoot lord of the rings and sam
came in so sam came in for the last 10 minutes and the second she sat down the questions were
they started coming in like crazy so she had the assist um unknown d you're seeing the demon
slayer movie christian i am i'm seeing it next week see uh press screening for it btown support
k mark l not brother i ended up working over to regal regal's pretty good reagle's pretty good that would
that movie would have been the talk of my childhood if it would have came out 20 years ago um what um
weapons? Oh, so you dug it, you just didn't love it. Is that what you mean by that?
Shai? Dingus McNally, support to make sure capes and cows doesn't have a chance to catch Chris Carr.
Thank you.
Okay. Simon Sexton, Christian, I appreciate you and Steph's advice on how to drink poor man's trade coffee, but you might as well be speaking Java on Han Solo.
So the way that I basically said on, so for trade, trade's my favorite this morning. I mean, the bags of coffee they send are just amazing.
But what I said, the way you can do it, because people are asking about the curing, like, you know, things.
And like, well, can they do that?
Like, I'm like, this is what you do.
It's what I used to do.
You cut open the thing if you want and you just pour in the coffee.
You just wash it out and do it.
If you want to do it that way and that way, you don't have to keep, you just clean it out.
Make sure you not, you know, you just make sure it's well washed.
But that's how you do the poor version of it.
Shea Markell.
Support for Chris.
Hell yeah.
Jake.
Love the weapons.
But during the first 10 minutes, a couple of,
right in front me, we were massaging each other's necks, ugh, and their watches were both on bright
and shining and right in her faces. I hate people. I say things. I say things. I say, can you please
lower you? And I say, can you please lower your watch, please? And I can't tell you to stop
massaging your partner's neck. That's that I don't have anything to say about it. But you're
watching in my face. Can you know, can you can you, can you lower that down? Please, thanks.
But one time, and I probably shouldn't have done this. But one time, there was a guy sitting next to me
and his leg, he's shaking his leg, shaking it like, I mean, so, and I go, but I, nice, I look at my,
I look at his leg, come on.
He stopped.
But it was, but, you know, that, I can't.
I have, I have, I have, I have nervous things that I kids can't handle.
Legend M-600, I love dog goes.
I got a German shepherd cop dog name Rocky.
He's right here if you want to say his name.
Let's hear.
Rocky.
Rocky.
See if he jumped.
Okay.
Chris, and now we're getting to a point
we're past two hours.
We haven't even got, we haven't.
Look at this. Eric Kirby.
Chris, what's your favorite studio Ghibli film
and which one do you think Christian might like?
Eric, you know what?
My studio Ghibli knowledge is actually really lacking.
I have so many movies I need to see.
A really cute thing my husband does for me
is he does what's called an eat-along.
And so he'll pick out the Ghibli movie
that we're going to watch and he makes the food
that is in that movie and brings it out
when it has that scene.
It's a really cute, cheap date night.
people should totally steal it.
But my favorite one right now is Ponyo.
I think it's really cute and precious.
Princess Mononoki, though, is like fucking rad.
And that's probably the one you would really like Christian.
Okay.
Let's see.
Harvest K.
May have to watch a Demon Center series recap before watching the movie Christian.
Do you think so?
Or should I go in blind and see if I can enjoy it?
I mean, let me know if you want one.
Okay.
I can just write you up a recap.
Oh, all right.
Maybe so. Mr. Dave. Universal has acquired born franchise rights and perpetuity. So newborn soon, that'd be good.
I like to see that. I'd like to say that. I didn't like the last one. So we should see.
Oh, I love that. I was saying I think I could have haunted my childhood like the ring. Ah, I see what you're saying.
Oh, the ring is probably the scariest thing I've seen. That's creepy. It's creepy. Yeah.
Like kid, what's your favorite ice cream? Mine's, uh, appologian. I tell you, um, chocolate and peanut butter. My wife last night, she knows I've been eating better.
I opened the fridge and she's got this chocolate peanut,
pretzel ice cream that Hagenots makes.
And I'm like, what is this magic stuff?
And yeah, there you go.
Man, that sounds so good.
So good.
You have a favorite ice cream?
Oh, I really like chocolate chip cookie dough.
It's good, too.
DJ Case, I don't know how big Japan's movie market is,
but her demon slayers taking up 90% of the screens when Fantastic Four came out.
That's crazy.
Yeah, I'm going to, I don't know, maybe can I go into it blind or will I be lost?
Yeah, might be a little lost.
you might need to watch just a quick little recap just because of where they left off okay good to know kelby
hell yeah chris would they win favorite movie of the year i would normally i would say hey don't you know
don't don't count your chickens before they hatch but you're at 173 right now it's going to be tough
for them to catch um what favorite movie of the year i mean again i'm probably i'm it's between
f1 and um and weapons i think and men sinners those three are fighting for the fightners yeah
Sanders is the best thing.
I think that's come out this year.
Josh Miller,
Sam and Chris Carr Show would be iconic.
They would really get along well.
I think so too.
Yeah.
Jake,
whoa,
you're seeing a demon slayer,
Christian,
aren't you going to be confused
in what happened in the first four seasons?
I guess so,
hoping it stands on its own.
I guess I got to do a recap.
Can somebody send me a recap?
Because now I'm scared.
Gen X Nerd 37.
Chris for the win.
Jim 1.
Have you ever visited Quebec?
Chris,
you would love it.
I've never been to Canada at all,
and I really want to go.
Same.
Shea, yes, Princess Monochi.
Is it Mononoki?
Yeah.
Monanochi was my first,
Mononoki was my first kidby film.
Christian, maybe your kids might enjoy it.
Kiki's delivery service is a cute coming of age,
which story?
Yeah.
Okay.
They're all on HBO too.
Interesting.
They're on HBO and then they do these summer movie events through Fathom
where you can go see them on screen.
Well, Chris Carr,
174.
Hell yeah.
Biggest numbers we've had on this channel.
Who did you go?
in quite a while.
So who?
Thanks, guys.
Steph is going to have something to fight tomorrow and then the Cape Skies are going to give
it a shot to see.
But 174, that is a cushion and a half.
You did a hundred more, 101 more than Roxy and Mike.
Holy moly.
Look at that.
So Chris, plug away as you are in the driver's seat here.
Wonderful.

Speakfriendstudio.com.
We got one more.
Jake, the marketing for, actually, two more.
Marketing for Demon Slayer has been insane in Japanese theaters.
Ashira C covers, rotating pitcher popcorn buckets.
It's huge there.
I mean, I guess it's going to be one of the biggest movies there for them, huh?
Seems like it.
Callie Kid.
What's your favorite Alfred Hitchcock?
Mine's Psycho.
Oh, birds.
Oh, birds is messed up.
Rear window.
Your window's mind.
Okay.
All right, Chris, thank you guys so much for being here.
Thank you, everybody, for being here today.
You guys got Krista 176.
Holy moly, what a struggle it's going to be for the rest.
I'm just kidding.
177.
What kind of coffee roast do you get?
I'm trying to think the one that the cold one that they just sent.
Oh, I've ever said a picture of it.
Scott, oh, you asked me right at the end of the show,
but I can research it.
Please, I mean, you know, I'll have the answer for you tomorrow.
I have like four different ones that I have at the house that I've been using a lot from trading.
They're not even, they're not even the sponsor in the show today, and I love them so much.
So, again, thank you guys for being here.
