Starting point is 00:01:44 What's up, buddy? You get it. We get super chats about that. So I'll wait on that one, but we got that. Yeah, you'll be the only person that's going to care about that main event. Come on 70,000 of us in that auditorium. Yeah, I don't know who's made. It's like, Sam Worthington's a movie star.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I swear, he's a movie star. He's a movie star. Listen, I don't know if you know. but I've already won the week. There's a hundred super people. You ruined the surprise. You ruined. People can't see.
Starting point is 00:02:15 No, they can't see. It's between me and you and I said that. You know me. Now, what's so funny is that someone sent me, I think a gentleman's name, but I don't want to mess it up because he over,
Starting point is 00:02:25 I guess he was a schmowdown guy too. Corey Ross. Hey, Corey. So Corey checked all of the stats for everybody who has won so far over the last, however many weeks it was and everything too. Interesting. Okay. So Winston has won eight. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Coy has one seven. Winston and Coy, right? They're not separated. But Winston won when Coy wasn't there. So Winston has eight. Coy has seven. I believe Steph has seven. He might have been wrong in that when he has her at six.
Starting point is 00:02:56 You're at four. Oh, four. Mike's at three. And Roxy is currently at two. Wow. That's a shame. So that's at the moment. But I want to hear any more of your
Starting point is 00:03:07 talk about how nobody can beat the guys on Friday because they haven't won in two weeks Roxy beat them last week. Whole weeks? Yep. That's right. And you said nobody, you can't be done. Well, guess what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:18 You have 116 questions before we even got started. And that's, you know why that is? Why? Because Derek Johnson. Yeah, Derek. Thank you, Derek. I think Derek Johnson single-handedly pushed you over the line. Unless he comes in for other shows this week, he got you, he got you at 116 before even.
Starting point is 00:03:35 You made, the record, by the way, the record. record is um he has that also where is it shoot top five all time you and you and step at two oh three yeah yeah so there you go um we have so much to discuss dude we're a winning combo me and stuff i know i know yes we have we have so much to talk about though because not only that over the weekend uh the rumble but this particular story i know you covered it on your channel so we get down before you get into the stories i'm sorry chris but listen to me
Starting point is 00:04:07 everybody who was watching right now. Just because Derek has become the MVP of the team doesn't mean you all don't have to throw in buckets into the basket as well. There's no, no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no 200 today. Can I rephrase that for you? Can I rephrase that for you, please? Just because Derek Johnson put in questions, don't let, don't let that mean that you guys can't put in questions if you desire to.
Starting point is 00:04:32 If you want to put in a question there, please, please do. We'd like to answer everybody's questions here today. You don't have to do anything. What you think he raised you? Oh, here we go. Big Coney's is coming in. We got to, I do have a, I do, someone animated him. I just haven't had a chance to upload him yet, but he is animated.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I hear it. That's what I heard. Anyway, he is. All right, anyway, listen. Because this story is a big one. Jam, I ain't begging for money. You're begging for money. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:04:58 Sorry, I'm getting out of the chat. I'm got out of the chat. Go ahead, go ahead. Stop with the chat. I know, it's a lot of great stream here. It's Monday morning. I'm all hyped up. I had a good night of sleep.
Starting point is 00:05:06 It was a good weekend. Let's go. All right, here we go. So this is the story. I know that this story, you know pretty well at this point. Yes. So this is particular, this is I think,
Starting point is 00:05:19 what the hell? I don't know, Us Weekly or something. Why is Amelia Perez controversial? Come on Hallmark, beat it. This is the game sometimes. Why is Amelia the biggest criticism
Starting point is 00:05:30 of the Oscar nominated film? Here's all this stuff. Amelia Perez leads the pack of 2025 Oscar hopefuls with a whopping 13 nominations, but the movie has faced several different controversies. Carla Sophia Gascone is the center of the musical drama as a powerful Mexican mom boss who hires a lawyer to help fake her death that undergoes gender affirming surgery. Gascon became the first openly transgender woman who scored nominations for best actress at both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards, directed by French director Jacques Aldard. Amelia Perez premiered in May 24 at Francis Canne Film.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Festival where it immediately received a warm reception. Escon, Saldana, Gomez, and Adriana Paz were honored with best actress while Emilie Perez was given the jury prize. However, a criticism came once the movie hit Netflix. The cast and crew are aware of the controversies and the director has encouraged people to see the film before forming opinions. I would like to tell the people who are participating in this controversy that the film has not even released in Mexico. They've not seen. Also told CNN at January 15th interview, why discuss in the backlash. So please, If you want to criticize the film, criticize it after having seen it, then we'll discuss it.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Here are some of the controversies. There's the Mexican representation. Milla Perez is set in Mexico and tackle sensitive topics like drug trafficking, gang violence, missing persons. Critics note that someone who has lived in Mexico under such threats might not be the best person to tell such a story and even some accused the movie of perpetuating stereotypes. If there are things that Mexicans find scandalous in Amelia, I apologize, director told CNN. It isn't just the subject matter that has sparked backlash. Gascon is from Spain, not Mexico. Paz is the only Mexican-born actor among the leads.
Starting point is 00:07:10 The film is also set in Mexico, but Ariard largely filmed Amelia Perez in France. Yeah. Locations at that time, I had every intention of filming the movie here. All of it, its entirety, it's natural locations, but in the end, I couldn't. I even thought that when I couldn't do it in natural locations,
Starting point is 00:07:26 I could do it at Turbo Boscow Studios, he said. However, there were more financial facilities in France. Yad, yada, yada, yada. Next one. Questionable. Many Spanish-speaking viewers raised the eyebrows while watching Emilio Perez. Adiard wrote the script and French singer Camille wrote the songs and both had to work with the translator since neither spoke Spanish. Songs and dialogue have been criticized as stilted and awkward in several social media.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Users have noted that the English subtitles aren't exact translations. C. Gomez got criticized also. Trans representation, Glad called Emilio Perez a step backward. Trans representation. One article, the film was noticedly missing from the nominations for the Glad Media Awards on Wednesday, January 22. Honoraries are commended for meaningful representation of the LGBT community. Many trans critics have cited various issues with the fans from the unrealistic portrayal of gender affirming surgery to the way Amelia's transition seems to be equated to morality. Use of AI, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Sound designer Cyril Holt said in an artificial intelligence company, a speecher was used to alter Gascon's voice or song taking place before Amelia's gender affirming surgery the director of Juan Amelia's voice to sound different. Now, the social media activity is the one that's really taken off. The film star received widespread backlash in January 2025. After past social media posts were surfaced online and have been translated by multiple outlets, some of the posts, which went as far back as 2016, were written about Muslim people in her native Spain, along with criticism of George Floyd.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It was killed by a police officer in 2020. Other messages that took aim at several religions. Gascon also slammed the 2021-1. Oscars in a separate post as someone in a marginalized community. I know this suffering all too well. I'm deep to sorry to have caused the pain. Gascon shared in a statement via Netflix, according to the Associated Press. All my life fought for a better world, I believe. Light will always triumph over darkness. There's a lot more there too because I didn't mention that she took shots at her co-star, Selena Gomez. So, John, this is a mess. It's a big old mess.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Yeah. What do you want to talk? I mean, so, I mean, look, The first thing I think that we can address is that last week, we had this big talk about the brutalist. Yes. The brutalist. This is child's play. I know. 100%. And it's the same AI program, Christian.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Right. So you've now, right. Didn't we say this that if this came out, you're going to find that other people did it also. It's the first person to actually say it. I just started the brutalist, by the way. It's excellent. It's excellent. So my wife and I've been watching.
Starting point is 00:10:06 We started, we got, you know, first hour out of 17 hours of the film. But we're going to, we're going to watch it. We're going to finish it. She said to me today, she said, that's a really good movie. So yeah, it is. So we're going to, we'll finish that one. Amelia Perez right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:21 He's on the ropes. Oh, yeah. I mean, it might even be, it might already be knocked out. Like honestly. Yeah. There's so much drama with this because you didn't even mention what happened yesterday, which is yesterday. And by the way, great job breaking all, like laying the groundwork for all this.
Starting point is 00:10:36 So people maybe aren't that aware of all the stuff that's been happening. This is massive news because if it was just a film with one or two nominations, it's not that big a video. 13 nominations puts a spotlight on it and the backlash that's been happening for quite some time towards this movie. Now she shut down her Twitter on Saturday after they found a tweet where she was, that's Carlos Sophia Gascon, where she was saying positive things about Hitler in essence. And saying like, you know, he had a, point of view on the Jews is basically what she tweeted.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Oh, no. And then she shut the whole thing down. She put that statement out to Hollywood reporter and on her Instagram saying that there's a nefarious campaign against her. And that no one's going to stop her from being a voice for the underrepresented. And then yesterday, without Netflix's approval, without Netflix's knowledge, without anyone's knowledge, but her team, she went on CNN and Español, and for an hour talked in an interview with one of their anchors there and she basically steamrolled him
Starting point is 00:11:36 through the entire interview trying to get out her narrative on everything he could barely get a word in edgewise again not approved by Netflix according to THR and variety and deadline and said all this stuff to try to defend herself and save her brand and again claimed that there's a nefarious
Starting point is 00:11:53 campaign against her and then she claimed the Selena Gomez tweet was fabricated and someone hacked her account and put that up there so she's like creating all these false narratives or soundingly false narratives to try to defend herself and she's just a flat out idiot man just a flat out idiot in the way she's doing all of this so so bad because it's like it is one of those things it's like it just it hurts it hurts the um the mission right where it's like you know what
Starting point is 00:12:20 the reason that this is happening is because you guys don't like whoever right right 100% that's what you're saying no that that's not to say that that that that's not to say that that That doesn't happen because it clearly does. Of course. But that ain't the case here. Yeah, no. You are doing some stuff that flat out sucks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:43 And you're getting called out for it. We just had an editor talking about AI and like, hey, wait a minute, it shouldn't be nominated. It 100%. They also did the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. Plus, Aegee and Brody wasn't tweeting out about Guy Pearce calling him a dirty rap. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:13:06 So it's like I think and the other thing is even when before all the controversy, I mean, there was already controversy attached to this movie. Yes. I remember like when you guys were talking about it with RB3 and everything, the things that he was bringing up and the kind of the earlier stuff that I read in that, in that Us Weekly thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:21 That was already out there. But that wasn't taking away from it getting nominated. It got tons of nominations. However, now with all of this attached, I think that voters are going to hesitate to vote for this movie when there was probably a back and forth for a lot of voters between this and Brutelist.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Yes. Right? I think the Bruteless is going to, this is more of a shoe-in for the Brutelist now. As far as best picture goes, I still think Zoe Saldon, and we'll get it. I don't think they're going to punish her.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Unless, because is she up against, against Demi? No, that's best actresses, Demi. she's best supporting actress. So she's up against Cynthia Revo. She's up against Felicity Jones in The Brutalist. She's up against Isabella Rosalini and Conclave. And there's one other actress she's up against.
Starting point is 00:14:13 But yes, that's the situation. I think she'll win and that will be. You think Zoe will still win? Yeah. I don't think they're going to punish Zoe for it. I think they're going to, I think that they'll still vote for her. I think that there's no world where Carly wins, no world. world at all. No. Oh, no. The thing is she said in the interview yesterday, and I said this on my
Starting point is 00:14:36 live show over the last week, and I was like, she should rescind the nomination. They should either take away the nomination from her. Has that ever happened? It's never happened before. And, you know, Jeff and I were talking about the hot mic. I think the shit is in the night. He doesn't think so. It was so funny because when we were talking about it on Thursday, the hit her tweet had not come out. And he had said like, oh, well, look, just because she says these things, she's being recognized for her work. And I said to him, so you're saying to me that if, because he's Jewish, Jeff is Jewish. I said if she had said anti-Semitic stuff or praised Hitler, you would still be okay with her nomination. He was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:10 And then the next day it came out that Hitler tweet. So I haven't heard from Jeff what his response to all of that is yet. But like this is the situation when you look at it is that she has sank herself with her own words. The question is what should bring it up, Christian? How many other people is she going to bring under with her because of the connection? I think she definitely brought the film down. If you were already ready to vote against it, that's why.
Starting point is 00:15:33 No reason now. They give them it out. They give them out to basically, yeah, because now it's like, oh, they just can't. They can't. They can't have because here's the thing. If you're a voter and you're like, okay, I'm torn between, like, let's say you're appalled by the tweets and everything else too, and there's no world where you're going to vote for her.
Starting point is 00:15:52 And then you go, well, wait a minute. I'm so appalled by what this person wrote. And I have a chance now to vote. And I was on the fence between Amelia Perez. and the Brutalist, both which I was torn on. Yeah. Who do I want to see on that stage? Um, because she'll still be there.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I assume. Right. Although I think the Oscars like started, stopped following her. Yes. They, they, yeah, they, uh, stopped following her on her Instagram account. And then she, as I said, she shut down her Twitter. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:21 So it's like, you just want to stay away from this. Like, if, if I'm the Oscars, I'm like, you know, can we have the Brutalist controversy back please? Yeah. Right. It's like, it's like, who can. cares. I think this paves the way for Wicked. I think there's a very good chance
Starting point is 00:16:34 now that Cynthia Revo. Maybe on the actress, maybe on the best supporting, maybe. I just can't see. Ariana Grande. That's sorry. I didn't mean Cynthia Revo. Ariana Grande. Why, she's Cynthia Reevo for best actress. Her best actress. Sorry. And Ariana for best supporting. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I just can't see. I just can't see them. Zoe Solana has been clean of all this. Yes. And she's the only one who's come out and made a statement against it. from the entire cast and crew. I would say it's a, I don't, I don't think that Ariana can beat her.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I think that there's a, like, again, people's votes will now go towards the brutalist. I think, I think that this actress has, has sunk the, the chances for best picture, because I think they're already getting pushed back that I got so many nominations in general.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Yes. So people are so bummed about it or just like, what the hell is? This is like, this is not, like, they're not Lord of the Rings. What the hell's going on over here?
Starting point is 00:17:28 So then there's that. And then, know without even showing i guess you know i guess i can show it but the uh let me get into the second controversial topic here today okay and i don't know with this one i think we should you think she should well let's finish my ask you this do you think she should rescind the nomination do you think she should because she said defiantly yesterday in the interview that she was not going to reject the nomination or rescind the nomination do you think the oscar should rescind the nomination or at the very least tell her to not show up uh to the event and you
Starting point is 00:18:00 You know, they were planning to do the, like, talk about 30 seconds about how great these actresses are and walk people out like they did a couple of years ago. Yeah. Maybe that's scrap for the best actress situation. What do you think they should do? I think you got a better chance of not getting pushback for it if you say, hey, we just can't in good conscience have this person at the ceremony. Yeah. So we're going to ask or not to show up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Because if you take away the nomination with the first transactress being nominated, right. It's, it's, it's, it's tough. You know, it's not, it's not that it wouldn't be justified. I happen to think that it would be justified,
Starting point is 00:18:44 but that doesn't matter. We live in a, we live in a society that everyone's like, well, wait a minute, why you doing that? You're doing, that was your chance.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Oh, now I see why you're doing that because, oh, was right. Maybe it is a hit thing. Yeah. And it's and it wouldn't be, but that's what would happen here. Yeah, no, it's fair. Totally fair. Um, but anyway, let's
Starting point is 00:19:06 let's get something less controversial. Blake lively. And, and Justin Baldoni amends it ends with us lawsuit with new allegations about Dead Pole Wolverine's nice pool. What a ridiculous story that says. It's hilarious. The legal battle
Starting point is 00:19:22 between Baldoni and lively rolls on with the, it ends with us, director, claiming Ryan Reynolds targeted and bullied him with Deadpole Wolverine inclusion of Nicepool, a.k.a. That movie made $1.4 billion. Can we get any of it? Let's try. After clashing on the set of It Ends with Us After Blake Lively's Feud with co-star and director, Justin Baldoni has led to multiple lawsuits being filed, those features almost, those feature almost, wait, those feature almost endless charges and counter charges,
Starting point is 00:19:50 but boil down to lively accusing Baldoni of harassment, retaliation with Baldoni, saying the Green Lantern Star has defamed him. I think they just defamed him by saying the Green Lantern start. Basically. This weekend, Baldoni has updated his lawsuit against Lively to add various claims, various claims. Full breakdown can be found on a newly launched website, including accusations of bullying from Ryan Reynolds via Deadpool and Wolverines Nice Pool.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Baldoni and his lawyer argue that Nice Pool was created by Reynolds to mock and bully him. Reynolds portrayed Nice Pull as a vicious caricature of a woke feminist before concluding the character's arc with his violent shooting death, at the hands of Ladypool character voiced by Blake lively. It goes on to claim that Nice Pool was intended to be a transparent and mocking portrayal of Reynolds' warped perception of Baldoni. Suit also alleges the Nice Pool scenes were shot in January 2024, not long after an ambush at Lively in Reynolds' apartment, which saw Reynolds allegedly berate Baldoni and demand he apologize
Starting point is 00:20:47 for the things he asserts he never did. Much has been said on TikTok about Gordon Reynolds receiving a thank you and it ends with us credits as Ryan's fictional brother was later accredited with portraying nice pool in Deadpool and Wolverine. Trial isn't expected to begin until early next year, so this situation isn't likely to be resolved anytime soon. Insiders believe that this only decisive victory for either side was savage their respective reputations.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Sean Levy directs Deadpool and Wolverine, which all that more. All right. So here's the tough thing with this. Okay. Question one. Sure. Do I believe that nice pool was. a mock at Justin Beldon. My answer? Yes. Yes. Question two. Okay. Why I think that this is
Starting point is 00:21:34 provable? No, I do not. I do not think it is provable. You can point and say as much as you want. No, look at this. Look at this. Look at this. I have friends that do that also. I have things that we created this to do that. There's no you can't plus the fact. Here's the other thing. Who brought this to the attention of the public. Justin Baldoni and his lawyer. Nobody was putting that together. Nobody. And they did. And they put it out there.
Starting point is 00:22:04 So I don't know. What do you guys think? Roca, what do you think about it? Well, first of all, the lawsuit is insane. 270 page. I just started looking at it last night and going like, geez, my eyes are like crossing. There's so much in here.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Because there's new text messages as well between him and Ryan Reynolds, about the fat-shaming situation. And apparently he, like, went off on him, Ryan did there and there, in the house and the ambush that you're talking about. Taylor Swift's been dragged into this because she was at that meeting.
Starting point is 00:22:35 She claims that she was just shown up to hang out with her friend. Justin paints it that she was brought in as extra muscle, in essence, to try to intimidate Justin Baldoni. And so there's a lot of ugliness here in the behavior of Ryan and Blake. It feels like the high school cheerleader
Starting point is 00:22:52 and the high school quarterback got together to browbeat the nerd, except the nerd is kind of a jerk off himself in ways. There's nobody clean in this. But you asked the second question, which is like, well, how's this approval? Well, Baldoni and Brian Friedman, by the way, who's a lawyer you don't want to mess with in Hollywood, they have asked both Disney and Marvel there to save all their text messages and emails with Ryan over the nice pool character. and they've even reached out to Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool,
Starting point is 00:23:24 the original director of Deadpool, to get communications from him and Ryan about how Ryan treated him through the process and got him kicked off a deadpillar. Well, they tried to do that with T.J. Miller, bring all this stuff in. They try to do it with T.J. Miller also because he's got the bad relationship with him.
Starting point is 00:23:39 But the problem is that T.J. Miller's got enough problems on his own. Yeah. It's not a clean one to go. No, so that's the problem. So this is stating Ryan and Blake. At some point, Ryan's got to be like, you know what? This is done.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Honey, I love you. I stand by you, but this is done because this is now ruling both our brands. And I'm the millionaire maker in the house. And this needs to be done and over with. Let's settle this thing. Let's pay him a certain amount. And maybe he'll surrender the rights to the franchise. And then you can go forward to the franchise.
Starting point is 00:24:08 Because even Colleen Hoover has, I think, turned off her comments, who's the author of the book in the series on her Instagram. So, like, everyone's getting affected by this. And Taylor had to put out a statement saying that she was, for people through her sources is pulling herself away from Blake. So I just think Ryan needs to step forward and be like, look, let's settle this thing, pay him off and be done with it and move on. Letting this thing drag out until March is going to affect everybody involved.
Starting point is 00:24:32 PM off. Paying off. It's dirty at this point. And it's not so clean. So there you go. All right. So we have other things to discuss. We have way more to talk about.
Starting point is 00:24:45 We have a lot of questions to get to today. So before we do, you know I'm excited you know why oh yeah via is back everybody and I knew people were excited about that oh they're coming back when they coming back hell yeah they're coming back and they are back ladies and gentlemen via if you didn't know you do now um all right so I don't know if you've already tried it and if you haven't it's time to try it VIA now has been with us for a little bit.

So time passes and it passes kind of fast. So for me, it's like, I remember hell, man, I remember meeting John in college. That was 20 years ago, something like that. It just flies by. And no matter how fast time flies by, it's never too late to make progress.

Starting point is 00:28:02 I want to make sure that I have good credit, paying off everything. And I found them because they're like, hey, this is something you'd be interested in? Yeah, that one, John, I was excited about that we have an opportunity to be with them. So anyway, yeah. It's important. a fixture credit. My credit was pretty bad four or five years ago. Barely could get apartments approved for apartments. Think of any you know, evictions.
Starting point is 00:29:19 But slowly but surely over the last four years, just consistently paying, getting approved for certain things, starting out small. Now my credit's in a really good place. So it can be daunting. It can be overwhelming. But kickoff seems like it's ready to help you. So take
Starting point is 00:29:34 like you said, 2025, take control of this stuff. Face your fears. Get over this stuff it'll help you in the long run yes and do it and make sure you sign up to them today links in the description if they're not in there both uh pld or luke will put it in there soon um anyway so let's get to the next put something in during one of my shows what happened what did you do at least pld will do something put something oh yeah he's gonna be he's gonna be furious because it's going to be hard for people to beat you this week i already told winston um and coy that they're in trouble this week. Don't show up. Just don't show up. I'm going to co-host the rest of the week.
Starting point is 00:30:10 That's probably a good way to do it. All right. So the other thing that we have here that I want to bring up is the we got the box office this week. Oh yeah. And here is the box office mojo. Top five. Dogman coming in at number one, 36 million. Companion at 9.5. Which one's companion? That's the one with Jack Quaid and so we that. Right, right, right. Robot? Yeah. Did you see it? I've not seen to know. I'm going tomorrow. Okay. Some spot tomorrow. Do a review. Mufasa, number three again. And one of them days, uh, number four and flight risk coming in at number five, but man, Mufasa. What's Mufasa now? Mufasa is at 653 million. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:56 I'm telling you that. Oh. Oh. Oh, am I on? Is this on? Hey guys, uh, Christian just left. So, uh, stupid button. Oh, there we're I'll hit the wrong button. Signed out to them. I'm just signed out of the freaking stream. But either way. So that's the box office, man. That's what we got.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Hit the back arrow. I killed him, you sons of bitches. It's the John Roker show. That will be, yeah, so for people don't know, there's two things. There will be three days where John's going to be taken over the show for me in February. You'll have Roxy on, I think, on that one Monday, actually. probably get some win in on that Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:31:39 But John will take over for three days. And then I think starting on the 20th, we're going to move the show to 11 a.m. PST, 2 p.m. EST, starting in late February, so everybody knows. Yeah. I don't know. Let's say some of these other,
Starting point is 00:31:54 oh, there was a couple trailers. Well, let's, you know, let's talk about this Super Bowl thing. Because, what do you want to talk about? Fantastic Four is coming out. The trailer is coming out tomorrow. And then there's no, are you waking up for that one? Oh, yeah. The geek buddies will be going, we're not going live, but we're going to record at 7 a.m.
Starting point is 00:32:10 tomorrow, which we've never done. Right. So you're not waking up. You're not waking up when it comes. Not for a 4 a.m. trailer drop. I'm coming in my office early, and that's early for me. 7 a.m. coming in here. Don't put it past me.
Starting point is 00:32:24 I get up early now. Maybe I'll do a reaction at 5 a.m. I don't know. 4 a.m. I know, I know, but I'm saying I won't get out until. That's what I mean. So it's like, so that one comes out. And then they announced that Jurassic World.
Starting point is 00:32:35 is going to come out on Wednesday, the new one. And then they dropped the final destination trailer today. What's left to debut, if anything, at the Super Bowl? Mission Impossible, right? Mission Impossible 8. That was so the rumors. A new Thunderbolt. Oh, debut, debut.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Debut. So Mission Impossible 8, I think is the only thing I can think of. And I would not be surprised if that drops on like Thursday or Friday. right before the Super Bowl. Well, because they're only going to be 30 second snippets, right? So then why even pay the $7 to $8 million? It's just to drive, I guess. It's just to drive awareness, man.
Starting point is 00:33:16 It's like it's that conversation that I had about, you know, the Oscars in general. There's not enough awareness. I mean, it is the ultimate advertising thing. You know, it's like you, you will drive awareness to your, to your product. That's, like, as I saw, you know, longtime viewer Ed Harold talking about it. I missed the days when they would debut it at Super Bowl. I don't at all. I don't, I don't, I don't, I hate pausing it and then running back to the freaking,
Starting point is 00:33:39 I just want to watch the game, running back and to do it because it's, and still because the same, and even for people, because they never show the whole trailer during the thing. It's always like, okay, well, you can go watch it online now. So even if you're watching the game, you've got to pause it. It's like, yeah, you know what? Like, that's fine. Like, bring awareness to your product.
Starting point is 00:33:55 I love that they're debuting this, this fantastic for tomorrow, because the other thing is, you know, you've got more of time to actually talk about it this week, but what you think about it too, because on Sunday, you were talking about the, oh, what about that game? And then it's jumbled in with all of the other trailers. Yeah. Yeah. So I, I really think it's, I like it so much better that it's the week beforehand, or the couple of days beforehand. I think it's very smart. They tease the Megan 2.0 one as well over the weekend. There was a quick like 30. Yeah, easier. Right. Right. So there'll be more this week. But yeah, it looks like probably just Smurfs and, uh, but although we've seen a Lilo and Stitch.
Starting point is 00:34:32 one. Right. Nothing. The big one, the big one, the two that everyone was talking about. Well, three, three of the ones we just mentioned. Fantastic Four, Jurassic World and Mission Impossible. Yeah. Right. Mission Impossible right now looks like the only one that might actually debut on Sunday, but maybe not. I don't know. I mean, Tom seems like the guy to gather to be like, no, we're debuting on the Super Bowl, cut at the airf out. We're not going to drop it early. You're going to debut with 120 million people watching. But they never, but that's the thing though. They never, you said it yourself. They don't debut the trailer.
Starting point is 00:35:06 The whole trailer. They just tell you, now online is what they do. It's like they just, you get like, you know, a 30 second spot. And then you go, oh, I can find that online. So we do every year when we react to these things. It's like, oh, there it is. I never watched the trailer on the thing. I was, like last year, remember running back to the office.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Yeah. Oh, okay. Well, they're showing that one now. So I got to go find it online. I love that. This actually. means that I might because I was trying to figure out what I was going to do for Super Bowl because I got those two big trailers with Jurassic World and Fantastic Four.
Starting point is 00:35:38 So does that mean I got to set something up in my office at home and have like the lesser quality and there? And these are like these are our problems that we have not ever been able to the problem. But I'm just saying for me. So what it means I can actually enjoy the game. Yeah. Because even Mission, even if Mission Impossible drops,
Starting point is 00:35:55 it's Fantastic Four and Jurassic World are the ones that are really going to perform. You can always do that afterwards. if you wanted to do you want it to and you know he's talking about it so it's like so i um i i i love this i love this okay yeah yeah i think it works good um yeah yeah i mean i i like it does make it like for me personally because i am a big NFL fan to be able to sit at home like because the tvs right here literally in my office right here i can watch the super bowl now without having to you know stop and recall react and then catch up on the game or whatever so it is very convenient to have these trailers drop ahead of time and i think it lets people just relaxed you know what i'm saying and start the
Starting point is 00:36:33 conversation online when those things go so yeah it just makes sense on so many levels for us i guess um but i think it does say something about the super bowl and the way they approach trailers now and the 30 seconds and all of that so maybe that's the new because i mean superman skipped so maybe this is the new way forward almost like comic on right christian like less and less studios are debuting Dave doing their stuff there. But they didn't skip, though. They didn't skip, they skipped the game itself. They didn't skip the day.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Right. They're going to be doing something at that doggy thing, which makes sense in general. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they'll, and they'll, that'll be the conversation in general. Right. And then people will be talking about that trailer leading into the game itself. Right. Or whatever it might be.
Starting point is 00:37:19 And that's, that's the one that shit. I probably will have to come to the office for it. I forgot about that. But yeah, so that is a bigger, that's a bigger, that's a bigger thing in general. But they're not doing it at the game itself because I don't think, I just think we're past that point where it's like, oh,
Starting point is 00:37:35 everything's going to debut that day. They want to get the word of mouth out there earlier and they should. It's the lead up to it. And then it's like when you drop a trailer in general online and then that weekend, you see that trailer on the big movie releases. You know, it's like the same thing.
Starting point is 00:37:53 It's like, the big movie is essentially the super. Bowl, right? I refuse to call it the big game. So stupid. It's no sense. It makes no sense. What? It's like, hey, wait a minute. We want you to talk about our game. We want you to talk about it, but don't call it what it is. I have a movie calling out. I have a movie coming out. Don't call it. Don't call it the Fantastic Four though. Call it the family with superpowers. When you, when you refer to it, just call it superpower family. Don't call it by its name. Why? Why wouldn't you want to promote your own thing you stupid idiots it's not world war one it's the world to end all wars right it is not world war
Starting point is 00:38:33 one stupid all it idiots i hate i always hated that dumb thing call it the big game and everybody got so scared let's my balls big game it's a dumb the the fixed game we'll call it oh there it is yeah uh stupid i'll still be watching it because i want wings of course anyway yeah um so uh just shows you that when your family doesn't really support what you do my brother's calling me right now does he really yeah i know i my co-hosts on the center philes have been texting me through the whole show is it clearly there's no concept that i go live every monday at this time but right no no no why would they even don't care what we do jesus nobody in our families cares what the hell no one cares uh this because there's it's hilarious my brother my brother is having a
Starting point is 00:39:17 blast right now because there was a there was a mistaken text politically in the uh within a family text there was someone in the family texted this big long diatribe to which the response on the chain text a group text within the family to which someone else said what the hell is this get lost or something i can't remember what was it was what was the response the response was was hilarious um where the hell is it that's funny as hell man i'm trying i'm trying to find because now there's like a whole big drama going on, which I'm doing nothing of the sort. Of course,
Starting point is 00:39:56 you don't want anything to do with this. What the hell is this? Go away is what the response was. Wrong text chain. I'm Yon-Yana, and no, I'm not going away. These are all facts.
Starting point is 00:40:07 I'm like, get me that hell out of there. I want nothing to you. My brother sends the Michael Jackson popcorn thing. I'm like, no. I'm like, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:40:18 And I wrote, I wrote to, because it's happy. Yeah, and I wrote to my wife. And I says, hilarious. She goes, not funny. So I'm staying out of that. Completely.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Keep the politics out of family, everybody. That's my advice to you. Nothing good comes of it. Nothing. You've never changed the mind. No. Much issues. No.
Starting point is 00:40:45 All right. Let's see. There's any. Absolutely hilarious. It's hilarious. It's hilarious. now reflects on the role now we hear the same thing um and eff those tariffs son of us right i don't know if there's anything else really too big um going on i think there's a super chat about the rumble
Starting point is 00:41:06 rumble so i figure we would get into that what about the trade do you care about the trade at all you can talk about that also when we go into yeah so i mean i think i'm trying to think i don't really think i mean did you get your screening for uh captain america i did for the 11 Yeah, same. Same. So I'm going to see it on, on the 11th as well, but the embargo doesn't drop until the night. I'm going to see it in the morning. Oh, nice. Yeah, that'll be interesting to see. Yeah, let's see. Megan, Megan, I didn't watch that. Oh, yeah, you know what? Here's the other story we can cover. Sholo Medveduena is talking about Blue Beetle. And we don't really know what was going on with him, right? So here's the, here's this story.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Joel Medveduania teases 2026 debut for animated series and addresses DCU Future Blue Beetle star Sholo Medveduania has shared a huge update on DC Studios upcoming animated series featuring Jaime Reyes and is it Jaime or Jamie? I always forget. It's Jaime, right? I was right the first time. It addresses his live action, future as the hero beyond that.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Last summer, the news broke that DC is moving forward with an animated Blue Beetle TV series. The show was already in development with the announcement was made with Miguel Pugha, said to have started working on the project months before. He'll serve as a showrunner while Christian Martinez is writing the series. Angel Manuel Soto and Garrett Denele Alciere, director and screenwriter of the 2023 movie,
Starting point is 00:42:37 respectively executive producing alongside John Ricard. Let's see. Jaime Reyes, actor Sholo Medellanozeguja, is reprising his role alongside unnamed other actors who also starred in the Blue Vito movie a movie. however, there have been conflicting reports about whether it's a continuation or a soft reboot, meaning to bring high means of the DCU. Talking to the direct at the Saturn Awards,
Starting point is 00:42:58 Medaduania expressed his enthusiasm to play the Blue Beetle again. He said, I'm ready to come back. We're hitting hard in this animated project, hoping to get this settled out this year to show everybody next year. Possible 26 release is good news, and if Creature Commandos was any indication, DC Studios, James Gunn, has a good handle on which stories to tell an animation and which should be live action. Most fans are eager to see more of Blue Beetle in the latter realm,
Starting point is 00:43:23 particularly as the 2020 movie was easily the best project we got during what proved to be a disastrous final year for the DC EU. Asked if he spoke in a gun about suiting up for real, he said, look, he's got his hands in the kitchen. I don't want to walk in while the chef is doing his thing, but I can say that once they're finished with this three-course meal, I'm ready. And look, I have no reason to believe that he's lying. Like whatever, we're adults, say whatever you want to say. I'm just happy to have done this one first and continue to spread the word about that while we get the second one drafted up. Okay. What do you make of these comments, John?
Starting point is 00:43:59 I think Hizolo delivered some really smart political comments, which is basically, and I don't mean political in the way you just presented. I mean political in terms of like, he knows how to play the game. He's very clear now about how to play this game and the situation. He knows he's in service of the piece. He doesn't have to speak out of turn. He doesn't have to say at a con, well, I'm best friends with the producer, so I hope they continue me in the new DCU.
Starting point is 00:44:26 He doesn't have say any of that. He says, you know, I'm happy to have done it. I'm happy to have played it. I haven't heard any different. So that's what I'm going with. Looking forward to doing this one thing. And hopefully when that's all said and done, they'll look at me to do the live action thing.
Starting point is 00:44:39 So he's very clear about what is going on here. And he's not speaking out of turn. I like the chef. It's all very smart from Jolo, which speaks well of his future in Hollywood that he understands how to navigate a tricky situation where people are looking to get that headline or that gotcha quote. And he is not giving them anything to eat on except that he's happy to be here, ready to go if James gives him the go ahead.
Starting point is 00:45:05 But he hasn't heard that. He hasn't heard differently. So for right now, he's operating under that belief. That is good. Yeah, I think so. And I don't think that, like, I think that James, realizes how popular the kid is,
Starting point is 00:45:19 was as far as this, every single person who saw that movie. Whether you loved that movie, thought it was just okay, or he thought it stunk. Every single person said, but he was great. Yes,
Starting point is 00:45:30 agreed. He's just a likable. He's a likable kid. And, well, he's not a kid. He's a kid to me. He's a kid to me.
Starting point is 00:45:39 And we're going to remember, I started interviewing him when he was 16. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So this is a smart move in general. I think it should be a soft reboot. I don't think I don't know. I don't care because a lot of people saw the movie in the first place. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:53 You know what I mean? The nerds are holding on to it being like, is this a reboot or not a reboot? Like, nobody's going to care. No one cares. Because they love them bring him in, however you're going to bring them in. If you're going to do it, we want to see it.
Starting point is 00:46:03 And you make it, you do it essentially what they did with Spider-Man in Civil War. He's already established as the movie. Yes. Yeah. Because then it's like, okay, look, if you want to believe that that movie is his origin story, you got it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:20 But we're not definitely telling you that it is. We're not telling you that it isn't. But nonetheless you keep him involved. I also think it fits what James Gunn has been saying, right? Christian, the idea that this is a world where superheroes are already around and have been around for quite some time, right? So the way that the Lubido movie ends, it alludes to Ted Cord still being a lot. And so that means a blue beetle has already been in this world that James Gunn is profiling. And so a new blue beetle being in it makes sense because the old blue beetle can come back in some way and could be very interesting.
Starting point is 00:46:56 So it fits the aesthetic that James Gunn has been saying and promoting the whole time talking about his version of the DC universe. So that's it. Man, that's what we got here today thus far. We have a lot of questions. There's so many questions. We'll talk about the Royal Rumble. We'll talk about all these different things you guys have coming in. And if you want to throw more questions in there, you can.
Starting point is 00:47:17 But before we even do that, I want to, again, we're blessed this week because we got great sponsors, John, like really, really good ones this week. And I know you're going to be excited about this one. Okay. Let's do it. Draft Kings, baby. Hey. That is right.

Starting point is 00:50:56 128. Okay, you're going to have to keep the. Yeah, because, because, yeah, when I, when I did that stupid thing when I signed out. Oh, yeah, restart all over again. It restarted. Do you want me to read them? Is that what you're saying? No, no, no, I can read them.
Starting point is 00:51:11 I hope I can read. Can I read them? I don't know. The first one I have is Mr. 101. Oh, my goodness. I think that I'm, is this from 11. No,
Starting point is 00:51:19 actually, I think a lot of these are starred from 11. So I'll see. You might, yeah, you might have to, you might have to go through some of these. What's the first one that you have on?
Starting point is 00:51:29 And Derek, No, I'm a Mr. 101. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, you, you know what?
Starting point is 00:51:33 Can you take over here today? Yeah. So basically, all you got to do is you scroll through the beginning of the, of the, of the chat. itself all the way to the top of it right and it should be the first one if you if you see it oh man that that that really messed me up when i signed out all the all that you know i could yeah
Starting point is 00:51:52 so you're going to have to uh okay uh yeah uh yeah i guess when it comes to when it comes to derrick's ones yeah you can you can literally just uh okay he knows you just highlighted and you don't have you don't have to address it every time i can't bring them up on the screen though oh son of a bitch this is going to get up right oh no which hosts i don't I don't lose all these things now. Let me see if I can go.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Let me see if I can bring them up to, see if I can go back to the beginning here and see if that's the case either. The other thing you can do is possibly share the screen and go all the way up to the just go into our live show. That's what I'm looking to do.
Starting point is 00:52:28 But I think that the problem with that also is it cuts off at a certain time. Oh, I really, all the questions are, I don't have the questions. I don't have all. Oh, right, because you came back in. that came back in. So, you know what you can do.
Starting point is 00:52:43 I do have from 11.06 a.m. I have some of these. So I'm going to try to do as many as I can. If I'm missing some, John, that you see that I missed. Yes. Then we'll do that. But like, oh, what a bummer that was. Yeah, so Derek put it in a ton.
Starting point is 00:52:58 And he knows he put in a whole bunch of them. So this is the first one is Al Rensha, who says, I still don't know how Sam stands up to Red Hulk. I think that'll be explained, obviously. That's probably going to have a movie. What would be talking about? Yeah, I think, well, I mean, you have to explain that. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Can't just be the shield. Carlton Runner, London calling Christian, a complete unknown was great. Couldn't get to Saturday night, but Companion was also a great surprise. Tonight, September 5th, that's a great one, too. Yeah. September 5th was a good one. Saturday night's on Netflix. Y'all should watch it.
Starting point is 00:53:32 Speaking of which, I was watching the doc on the music. By the way, the whole, the four-episode SNL doc series on Peacock is great. And the music one that just dropped a few days ago from Quest Love is fantastic. So if you're an S&L person, watch those documentaries, are a lot of fun. This one is JMC 1121, not movie news, but Luca to the Lakers, hell yeah. So are you, you know it's funny, John, I went out, I met my friends at a bar, New York, and we were actually watching the Knicks versus Lakers. My buddy had placed a bet on the, because I guess because the injuries, he thought the Nix would win.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Yeah. the next had like a 10 points and he he he definitely he did not win um but we that trade it broke like after we got back or something or two yeah so um yeah what'd you think about that trade i was shocking like i was i tweeted it out it was i was watching uh i got the new season of reacher i got the screen as little early as watching it really enjoying it and then uh i got this alert because i follow shams on um on twitter and i got the alert and i was like what and then went in there and people like, oh, you've been hacked, you've been hacked, you've been hacked shams. And then he retweeted it and said, this is real.
Starting point is 00:54:44 I've not been hacked. This is actually the trade. And then ESPN tweeted it. And that's when I was like, oh, my God, this is real. And man, a lot of people are very upset about this that are not L.A. Lakers fans. Yeah. Our brother, Winston A. Marshall, was very emotional about this, been tweeting about it for the last couple days. Why is he emotional?
Starting point is 00:55:03 He's a Mavericks fan. And he really loved Luca. and Luca going to the Lakers, although now Winston will be able to see Luca much more than he would in Dallas. No, if it's anything like the Dodgers, he'll be a Lakers fan overnight. No, a lot of it. But it was just because the way it all came together
Starting point is 00:55:20 and there's a lot of suspicions about stuff going on, backroom deals, and so there's a lot of dark cloud over this trade in many ways, but the Lakers have set themselves up again and LeBraw now is kind of like the odd man out. Luca's the new superstar coming up. So we'll see what happens. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:40 So let's see. Next one here. What's more shocking, the fact that this is happening or that family political text is blowing up and I don't want anything to do with it? All right. Shea Markell, anyone surprised to hear that Sandman was canceled?
Starting point is 00:55:54 Was it canceled? I'm not surprised. And I hadn't heard that until just now. But I'm not surprised because of all the Neil Gaiman stuff. Yeah, we talked about it Friday on the Geek Buddies. Yeah, they had planned to only be two seasons, but there was the possibility of more.
Starting point is 00:56:08 So in essence, what Gaman did was give them the out to cancel it after two seasons and we're done with it. There's still the second season. It is going to come out. They're going to put it on Netflix. But yeah, they're pretty much done. And those gaming allegations were. Yeah, it's too much.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Yeah, it's like you cut and run at that point. Yeah. Shane Arkell. You guys see the fantastic four pre-teaser trailer. Yeah. Yeah. I like the way it was filmed. I right away felt like I was in that time period.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Yeah, 100%. Yeah. percent d ui champ brother roka have you had the time yet to peer into your toilet bowl and see star trek section 31 floating around still unfush is that bad this is so tough for me because i don't want to watch a bad star trek movie but then it's only 90 minutes but our brother jason inman was involved with it so there's a lot there's a lot of feelings for me because it's getting destroyed but i i will watch it. I just got to find those 90 minutes to sit down and watch it. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:57:05 and also I don't want to see Michelle Yo in a bad movie. So, oh, that's the one. Okay. I know what it is. Yeah. Yeah. EWalk. James Norton just cast as Ormond High Tower in House of the Dragon. Yeah. Interesting. I like James. Good, good actor. Interviewed him once.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Very good guy. James, what was he? What was he? I don't know. There's a lot of shows. Yeah, I don't know. He looks familiar. I don't know the show. Okay. Well, there you go. So they cast well over there.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Derek Johnson, who put in so much today and pushed John to, like, whatever it might be. Derek Johnson is saying, for anyone complaining about my donations, you must be new to this community. Here's 10 bucks for your tears. I'll donate more. I love that. Derek has been missing in action. He's back and he came back in an absolute whirlwind. Derek is my Captain America.
Starting point is 00:58:00 That's right. I'm a super soldier. Shea Markell, I got to be honest. I was sure that Jonathan Majors' magazine dreams would never see the light of day, but I guess he's on his climb back. I told you, this is a business where, you know, there's an opportunity to be forgiven with certain things, and it just, it'll take some time. He'll, he will, he's got the talent. He will be back. He won't be in big, huge movies yet, but he will eventually.
Starting point is 00:58:27 The trailer looks fantastic. He looks great. unsettling in the trailer and the people put look there's there's people who provide an avenue now like you saw this the same people did sound of freedom that are putting out this trailer putting out this movie so there's avenues for people who've been quote unquote canceled for whatever reasons for them to find an avenue in Hollywood to put their stuff out there so this is the path that jonathan is walking now and the trailer looks super unsettling Jake asked votes should always go to best regardless of the offset actions. That said, I don't like the movie. I mean, I understand that.
Starting point is 00:59:07 It's, but it is something else, you know, as much as Oscars as anything else to it is also a brand, right? Yes. Like, you know, what were they going to do? Like, if Will Smith would have smacked Chris Rock a week before, he probably wouldn't have won. If he had smacked him during the voting, he might not have won. Right. Right. So it's, um, Yeah, it's, it's tricky. It's tricky. I think it's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I think it's a say it should, because Christian, obviously, you feel differently than I do, but I think the offset actions absolutely matter, and they matter in every arena of life. I don't. I don't feel that. I don't matter. Yeah, I don't feel that.
Starting point is 00:59:45 You don't take HGH. You don't beat up your wife and beat up your kids and expect to get into all of fame. You just don't do that while the voting process is going. Yeah, I don't necessarily disagree with you at all, actually. um shay markel shout out to derrick brinkstruck johnson uh mad sinister mccall best snider amelia prez nominated for noble peepy the brutalist has an intermission because people were peeing their pants and test screenings that's what i loved about watching it last night you just take pause it i gotta go pay yes the best uh go pal what's up buddy outside of the carla drama it was already weird that it's a movie in spanish written by a guy
Starting point is 01:00:23 who doesn't speak spanish about mexican people in mexico with no mixing cast filmed in France. Yeah, I know. I mean, that's, that, that's what it already had going against it. Although, I will tell you this. Yeah. I, on that, that is where the, where's where the previous question about, well, what does it matter if it's off, offset, right? Here's, here's, here's where I might be on a different page and other people. Okay. I do understand everything that GoPow wrote, and I understand where, A, Mexican people would be upset about that. I understand people, uh, in general, all of the criticisms, I understand completely. There have been tons of movies that were supposed to take place in New York that were shot in Canada.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Yes. It doesn't mean that because I'm a New Yorker. I don't think that it shouldn't be nominated because they were shooting in Canada. Which is like, well, it's a different country. Yeah, it's a different country. It's a different country. They were shooting in a different thing. They weren't speaking their right language or what.
Starting point is 01:01:24 The same thing of someone written by a guy who doesn't speak. Spanish. If, if, and I haven't seen the movie, so I can't speak on it. If it's a good story and it's a good movie and it's fitting in the same way that like, you know, um, Stephen Spielberg directed the color purple. I was just going to bring that out. Did a great job. Um, it doesn't have to be beholden to just whoever, every single time.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Well, it's about women. So a woman has to direct it. It's, it's about, you know, or it's about a bunch of dudes. And woman has, a woman can't direct that. What are you talking about? So that one doesn't, I understand the criticisms. I get it. I get it.
Starting point is 01:02:02 But that one doesn't get it. It's more so of what's going on with the, with all those tweets and everything too and the feedback. And it's also about respecting the culture. And a lot of Mexican people and the gay culture with the trans community. Right. Both these things that you profiled in the movie are saying very loudly that you have insulted them with broad generalizations that actually said.
Starting point is 01:02:24 That I can't speak of because I haven't seen the movie. That's what I'm saying. Well, I have it. That's what I'm saying. And I understand that. But I agree with you, Christian. Like if you respect the culture and you make a good movie, no one would say anything, right? Like Color Purple, like you said, that's an incredible film. What's a white Jewish kid know about Black's culture in the early days of America? He was able to capture it so well in Color Purple. So yeah, it's about good. Let's see. Next one. Matt B. And thank you, Goel, for that one.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Matt B, the only issue I have with rescinding the nomination is, once you open their door, there's no closing it and could set a bad precedent. I kind of agree. I think more so of the like, hey, listen, we just can't have you at the ceremony this, this year. Like, we stopped following you for a reason. We don't think it makes sense in the same way that I thought they should have escorted Wolf Smith right out the door when that happened.
Starting point is 01:03:14 They shouldn't let him. We're accepting on his behalf because he just smacked the guy in the face. I think that was a shock. People just didn't know what to do because they'd never experienced that. But you're right. Cooler head should have been like, get it. I'm out of here. And I'm out of here.
Starting point is 01:03:29 He's going to win. And it's like, yay. We just watched him. Assault the guy on stage and we won and you won. It was the worst showing of what Hollywood is. We don't care about morals. We just pretend we do. Compartmentalize you.
Starting point is 01:03:42 You go, that's between the comics or that's between them. I don't have nothing to do with. I'm not afraid like Matt B is here. You can't live in future fear all the time. You've got to do what's right. And rescinding the nomination is not a negative thing to do. It opens the door to it and it lets the other actors know, hey, if you're going to go for these big parts, make sure you've handled your social media because you could get in trouble. It's a lesson.
Starting point is 01:04:06 And I don't think it sets a bad precedent. I think it says a good precedent that we character matters. Yeah. It doesn't matter. This is from Clip Chip. Clipchamp Razor. What's that man? Valdoni's proposal video to his now wife is a 20-minute exercise in cringe narcissism and it tells you everything you need to know about the guy.
Starting point is 01:04:25 Did you see this? I have not seen this, but something tells me there might be some cringe videos of Clipchamp Razor rolling around somewhere. So, you know, because it's in the eye of the beholder. Cringes in the eye. What may be... Wait a minute, but you haven't seen the video. You haven't seen the video. I'm saying, but what may be cringe to you may not be cringed to someone else. But it's also not fair to say that you could come back after watching it and go, Clipchamp Razor was accurate. That was horrible to watch.
Starting point is 01:04:50 He could. I could. I could. I could also say he was so wrong. Let's see Climpchamp Razor's proposal of it. video but let's see uh johnny venerable sophy thatcher teased the return to star wars no best began she's not she was good sophy thatcher was good was good in that you didn't think she was good in solo the jolly ranch no she's not in solo she was in the um she was part of the jolly rancher game oh wait i'm thinking of two different people i thought she was fine though she was the stormtrooper the one who was a storm trooper that fell with fell for bea boyega right oh that's that's a Gwendolyn Christy.
Starting point is 01:05:25 No, no, no, no. The Factor was the former Stormtro. Who the hell is Sophie Thatcher? That girl. Sophie Thatcher is the one in companion. Oh, my God. She was the one. She was in the,
Starting point is 01:05:36 in the Bobafetz. Yeah, the colored motorbike again. Oh, God, no. Yeah. Get that out of there. I love so. Oh, my God. No, yeah, she's fine.
Starting point is 01:05:47 But the spy kids, odds Mando movie features Boba Fett. Well, he said no. He said he wasn't going to be in that. Bob Vance, Sanson film needs more juice. Oh, I don't know. Oh, I hope not. That's terrible news.
Starting point is 01:06:03 Karen, Volder Mahedden. Hi. Hi, Karen. How do you think your new terrorists will affect Hollywood? I think that it'll just force people to not shoot outside of, it'll make more people shoot in the sound stages in, in, in the States. I think it'll happen.
Starting point is 01:06:22 what do you think yeah i think we don't know yet because i don't i don't know how much we get from mexico i don't know how much we get from canada that affects the supply chain for the things and both of those are on hold right or one of them's on hold right now me goes on hold he's going to talk to trudeau later and have a conversation i you know this is all show in my opinion it's all the ringmaster leading the circus um but i don't think in the end where the tariffs are going to be anywhere near what he's projecting. And I think they're just trying to do something to please their base. But in the end, there'll be something smaller.
Starting point is 01:06:57 Everything will go back to normal or somewhat normal. And we go forward. So I don't expect it to affect Hollywood too much. That fire, those fires, I do expect to affect Hollywood quite a lot. Yeah. Cupcake Bliss. I don't think the academy will rescind their vote on Amelia Perez because people will cry free speech, strands, et cetera.
Starting point is 01:07:17 I think her comments are disgusting and shouldn't be at the Oscars. I'm with you Cupcake Bliss. I just think it's too sticky to rescind it right now. I just think it's because of all that of whether, now look, whether they're in their right to do that, different conversation. Because I think they were both on the page that,
Starting point is 01:07:35 yeah, if they did it, we'd be like, I get why they did it. I just think it opens up too many doors that are just hard to close. Yeah. Mike Joyce,
Starting point is 01:07:45 I saw Silence of Lambs in the theaters over the weekend. That's cool. But love it. But how did that win, best pick because it's damn good. It came out a year before the Oscars. Did it stick with people the whole year or was 92
Starting point is 01:07:57 poor Oscar movie year? No, it's what I've been talking about. She's a different time, man. Like, it you know, you got to, first of all, there's not as many movies that come out in that year, like as that there are with all the streaming stuff and all the different platforms and the
Starting point is 01:08:13 barrage of movies that just come out. It's like if a movie hits, you remembered it. in the beginning of the year it's like okay it hits sounds like people were talking about it was quotable there were big huge moments it then came out on uh you know hbill a year later whatever it was and so yeah it was it was in it was in the conversation so it never really went away so that's if you mean how did it go sticking here because it was early it's a different time back now what i was gonna say mike joyce 2025 81991 we were movies stayed in the theater
Starting point is 01:08:43 much longer at 1991 especially really good dramatic adult r-rated fair and the Hopkins thing became a pop culture character that everyone was imitating for months afterwards. So it stayed in the pop culture zeitgeist all the year. And 91 is a strong year for movies. So, you know, it definitely earned its nomination in victory. Danny Dank. What's up, Danny? Thoughts in Baldoni putting up that website.
Starting point is 01:09:15 I don't know. I don't know enough about it. He's got to defend himself. I think there's nothing wrong with him putting up. the website outing all the text messages videos outing all the footage outing all the back and forths and emails yeah nothing wrong with that and if you want to go and take a look at his defense of himself it's right there laid out so nothing's out in the nothing's being held back and he's providing proper context for the accusations he's also trying to go up against you know two powerhouse people
Starting point is 01:09:40 exactly you up getting accused of sexual harassment by a strong woman who's got a super successful husband who wants to crush you that's a tough situation in hollywood when you think you're innocent and so i think he's got a right to prove to prove his innocence to that website uh all right here's the next one and yeah and john i'm gonna i'm gonna rely on you to see if i missed any okay um Hank pym thoughts on companion sophy thacher is a store um i didn't see it and my and uh john's gonna see it soon so we haven't had a chance you what's your favorite super bowl commercial i use i mean wasn't the rocky um that's brisk baby was that a wasn't that a super bowl commercial was right risk i t i think it was
Starting point is 01:10:20 I love that and I used to love the the celebrity the death fights that they used to do oh yeah those clay fights celebrity death match I love those things let's get on that was the best yeah you have any ones in general probably the Duncan Donut one that Ben just did and they teased a new one where they have Casey Affleck coming in now and now they've got Jerry so I saw the turn I saw the Ben Affleck and and up in afflick the Casey Affleck and the Damon one it was that was a good one It's been a long day, guys. We got some.
Starting point is 01:10:53 Matt B. What will wind up being more rigged? The Super Bowl or the Grammys? I didn't even watch the Grammys. How are the Grammys rigged? I don't even watch the Grammys. I mean, did you say, I'm sure you did. I watched the last hour and a half last night.
Starting point is 01:11:06 The only thing anyone's talking about with the Grammys is that whole Kanye Westing that happened. Oh, my. What the hell was going on? Everything about that from the second. Here they are. They're posing on the carpet. Yeah. And then he just looks and he's like, yep, now is the time.
Starting point is 01:11:22 She dropped. She's wearing nothing. You can see everything. She's standing there like a Stefford wife. She's just like, am I supposed to be posing? Am I supposed to be looking to the right? Am I supposed to be? He's just standing there awkwardly to the side.
Starting point is 01:11:35 There's a kid peering out from the side looking. Yeah, and then they just get in the car and leave. That's the only thing I knew about the Grammys. These are the things that when the right wing and Maga and Trump people talk about how much they hate Hollywood and celebrity culture. I agree with them with things like this because Jaden was it Willow Smith showing up with a damn house on his head. Who was that? All that stupid attention needing crap. It's so frustrating. And then those two AP young children hosts, they were like 21 years old, those girls.
Starting point is 01:12:11 And they, oh, I saw that. I saw that. Chapel Rowan on there, Mike. I was like, you guys are disgraceful. You should never host another red carpet. That is the problem with young media in general right now, especially in, I, dude, I can't tell you how many times I've been, whether it's one of those premieres or whatever it was and watching those people on the purpose and,
Starting point is 01:12:32 or even in junkets, and they're so bad at what they do. Like, they don't even listen to the person they're talking to. They just are looking to either the next thing that's supposed to ask, but they just go, right, right, okay, yeah,
Starting point is 01:12:47 right, you didn't hear anything they said follow up i never remember there was like a star wars question to um it was to favro it was talking about like some it was i can't remember what show it was or was it man i can't remember what it was it was something along the lines of a project he was working on and and everybody knew was out there and this person like why ain't you ask him about there it's right there asking about it and favro brought it up himself yeah he had to himself because he's like oh you know i am working on this and then the person followed up and i'm like dude it's like these certain things just like just listen to people and like yeah that that was embarrassing like you're in the middle of an interview somebody then you miss chapel row then you miss you miss her i call i call her um uh chapel row chapel row yeah and my daughter hates that i do that um all right let's see so
Starting point is 01:13:37 so matt b thank you matt b um so yeah there'll probably be the super bowl yeah josh needle i get where you you're coming from with the Super Bowl trailers, but I hate this new trend. Half the fun of the game to me is the excitement of seeing footage of big movies for the first time. Lame move, my opinion. I mean, I understand it. I get it, but I didn't remember. I don't remember big trailers dropping for a while.
Starting point is 01:14:04 It was always about the actual commercials. This is a recent trend, what he's talking about. It was no way. It was commercials, really, the big thing. That's where the movies were. The commercials themselves were mini movies, which were incredible. incredible like you brought up the rocky one which was great the good one go pal hey stand and deliver was a great movie it's crazy that uh commander adama was playing i'm ascalante what's what's calculus what's calculus yeah that you know it's funny is that you know some i'm a producer now on katie sackoff's clips channel yeah and um they did we just had on lou diamond phillips and they were talking about he talked about how he talked about him and how he was instrumental in lou getting that role because he worked with him on, what was it?
Starting point is 01:14:50 He said he worked with them on a show. It might have been Miami. Was it Miami, Vice? I think it was Miami Vice. And he said that he was, he asked him, he asked Lou,
Starting point is 01:15:00 he's like, what are you doing next month? I'm not doing anything. He's like, all right, he said, call this number and he got him a roll and stand and deliver. Pretty great. He's the main kid in Santa.
Starting point is 01:15:08 Yeah, I know, I know. I know. All right, next one. Randall W. Should the Oscars be about celebrating the business or the art? feels like it used to celebrate the business more.
Starting point is 01:15:19 I love the art as well, but if you want young people as movie fans, does it help your big event, celebrities niche? Well, I've talked, this is the big thing everyone was arguing me about. I don't think that this show,
Starting point is 01:15:32 these awards are made for anybody, except people in the industry, and people who follow movies like they, like most people follow just news in general. It's like people who watch this show, the Oscars are for you. Because you know, those movies that they're talking about,
Starting point is 01:15:46 you know, everything else too. But it's just not meant for the mainstream person anymore. It used to be, but it's not mean for the main. I just think we've changed our tastes. As I've said last week, you know, the idea of this art versus business. I think it's a false argument because in the past, the art was the business. And that's what people were gravitating to. Now, the art is much more tent pole pictures and sequels and all this other stuff.
Starting point is 01:16:13 So it's not anymore what it used to be, which is mainstream. adult contemporary fair about challenging subjects. That's now gone to the niche, but that used to be the mainstream. You don't forget. Disclosure was a film about sexual harassment, false accusation of sexual harassment
Starting point is 01:16:31 based on a Michael Crichton book with Demi Moore and Michael Douglas was incredible film. That would totally be an independent small film today. And so it's just that the public's tastes have changed. There weren't as many 10-pull pictures back then. Now it's the law of the land. I'm going to address a comment. M. who says my argument doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 01:16:50 Well, guess what? M. Your argument doesn't make sense. How about that? How do you like that counter, John? Like them apples. I like that counter. Your argument doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 01:16:59 M. Eat it. Go, pal. Jaime Reyes reminded me of Hamascalante. How? I would like to know. I would like to hear how Jaime Reyes, who was a bright-eyed bushy-tailed kid,
Starting point is 01:17:12 reminded you of Jaime Ascalante, who was this grizzled old man trying to make sure his kids learn the language. He might remind you of Lou Diamond Phillips. Riley, here for big balls and big cohenies. I don't know. For $2? I don't know. Hey, man.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Listen. Listen here. Focus. Oh, no. Okay. You want some shit? I'll tell you what. Yeah. Hey, I got an idea. Bring in pink Gahones. You got them? It looks at it.
Starting point is 01:17:45 It's factor time. Eat. Hey. Hey, big cahones, you see those balls up there? That's the size of my balls. I'm gonna put them in your mouth. Nope. What did we say? Hey.
Starting point is 01:17:58 They weren't gonna do that. Well, you can't, you don't even have an image yet. Not yet. No image. Oh, there we get. And now I'm cool. Yeah, baby. Two-40-0.
Starting point is 01:18:11 That's all you get for two dollars. you get for $2. Get out. That's all you get for $2. All right. We're not street magicians, mother. ND fanatic. Great to watch the rumble on Saturday with you, Rogen. Did you do a watch long?
Starting point is 01:18:27 I did it. I did a live watch a long. Four and a half hours, Christian. I couldn't believe it. Well, all right. Well, we can get to that real quick. I talked to you about it.
Starting point is 01:18:35 You know, the match between Cody and Kea was incredible. Yes. It was really good. They really, they sacrificed their bodies and did, you know, Cody went old school E.W. who Kio just what KO does. And that was really the highlight because there's a lot of, I was watching the rumble with my,
Starting point is 01:18:50 with my little one. She was excited to watch it. She likes to count down and see who comes in. She goes, the best is there was someone, she goes, who the heck is this? The best. There are a few of those. I think Alexa Bliss had the best moment, for sure.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Biggest Bobbitton. Yeah, and there were some good moments for sure. I mean, you and I understand, I do understand the blowback from Charlotte Flair winning. I really do. But I also think that it is probably the best thing that they could do if they want to have her go up against Tiff, Straton. You got to have Stratton win that, though. You can't. Now, I will be totally against it if Flair wins.
Starting point is 01:19:28 Yes. But as far as the main event goes, I think they completely dropped the ball. I think the men's war. The men's world. The men's world. They completely dropped the ball. I get it. Look, merch and people and kids love this, and you can get the whole,
Starting point is 01:19:42 audience dancing in the audience but what does that mean can you are you good in the mic no you're not he's that guy is not good in the mic he says the same thing and he refers to and he says he he doesn't he's terrible in the mic he had one of the worst matches ever at russomani against his brother and you can't just blame it on his brother he's he was part of it too um he he just fought for the heavyweight title recently he held the inner kind of down title for like a month. The guy, he's not, he's not, he is, like I said, with Sam Worthington, good actor,
Starting point is 01:20:19 but stop trying to make him a movie star. He wasn't a movie star. Same thing with Jay's not a movie. He's not a, he's not a main event guy. And that is a, that's a waste of a main event spot. I disagree with you. I think he earned it. I think he's worked as well. But I agree, though, with your comments on the booking.
Starting point is 01:20:36 The booking has not been good for him consistently over the last few weeks to make this make sense, to choose him to be the guy. is what are we going to get him and Gunther for a third time and this one he's finally going to get him? Like it doesn't make sense. You're not going to put him in the Cody Road situation for damn sure. Some people said this screams of the rock because it's his family. A hundred percent.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Very possible. A hundred percent. I didn't want Tina in there because Sina can't wrestle anymore. Again, more obvious. It should have been punked. You're wasting your opportunities with this guy. You only got, he's 44 years old or whatever he is. He only is his body is holding up right now.
Starting point is 01:21:12 should have been punk when they when they when they dumped out rains and uh and set at that time that should have opened it up and punk should have been in it and then you have punk fight for the heavyweight title he wins it and there you go and you've got a guy like punk who's going to carry a program where he's not going to make up his mind to the last possible second so he will cut great promos on both gunther and cody yeah as opposed to j who might not be able to do that the only thing the only thing that i think that you could really the question is that i always said i was talking to Chris Van Fleet about this for a texting back and forth to which he was he was way more he's just he's just a way more positive person in general um but my thing is this
Starting point is 01:21:50 it's like not every person and it's very hard to do yeah will cross over to mainstream awareness correct with stars i mean the rock did it stone cold steve austin holtogne there are people there are people who did it right but even though it it is not likely to happen You've got to put someone in the position that it could happen. Yeah. Jay Uso is not a transfer over mainstream person. Roman Reins is. Sam Punk is.
Starting point is 01:22:22 John Cena clearly was. Yeah. J. Uso is not that guy. He is not the guy that you're going to put the title on and say, well, that's the, again, someone that could potentially be a movie star, potentially could be a huge actor. It's just not, it's, he's just not the guy. Anyway, next one is Renetta W.
Starting point is 01:22:43 Hey guys, Roker, did you see how Kendrick swept the Grammys with his disc track? Wow, he's had the year, five out of five. They need to leave the Pulitzer Prize winner alone. Happy to Jean-Ate as well. Yeah, he did. It was great. Saw it last night. I couldn't believe he swept the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:22:59 And you saw Billy Island. She was like, all right, fine. Same thing with Beyonce. She wasn't necessarily the happiest on that. But yeah, a disc track winning the Grammys. That's an incredible situation. Shout out to Kendrick Lamar. and my man my man is still trolling someone point this out on twitter he wore a canadian
Starting point is 01:23:15 tuxedo last night the denim on denim as another shot at drake so this is not over and we've still got the super bowl halftime show he is going to demolish that's what i said so you said they're going to show up and hash it out i still think that's possible i got i got to dress this one too so too bad he is you don't watch the product enough that is the point the whole point First of all, I was watching it relentlessly for a bit. The point is, is this person someone that can take the casual viewer and you go, oh, that's your champion, that's the person. And he's not.
Starting point is 01:23:50 I'm glad, dude, that you like him. That's the best. Good. That's awesome. And I'm glad that there's so much support. I'm glad that his merch sells as well as he does. I'm talking outside, looking at again, business side. Is this a star, a main star?
Starting point is 01:24:04 He's not. He's not the guy. I think that's a fair opinion and analysis to have, Christian. Because, yeah, this guy clearly watches the product all the time. And so he has an opinion on it. But he's still in common. You don't watch the product enough. Well, then they should only make the thing for hardcore wrestling fans.
Starting point is 01:24:19 It's not WrestleMania. What we just say, art versus business, right? If you're trying to get the casual viewer to watch WrestleMania, that's their, there's like the Super Bowl. That's their big thing, which is why they do the commercials and the trailers. It's to get the casual people to watch the game. Same thing with WrestleMania. You want the casual viewer to turn it on.
Starting point is 01:24:38 And so that's the game that's way in there. Yeah. And they didn't, like, and someone's, well, Jay's so over right now. So was L.A. night. What did they do to him? buried L.A. Yeah. Damn it.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Mr. Inde Fanatic, if I sprints to your contract could have had random ducks out. I'm like, I don't know what this means. Probably would have gone. Well to see. You okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:25:00 I don't really understand it, but I appreciate the donation. Add it, Muhammad. Did Dallas cost Luca 100? million on his contract yes yes because lucca could have resigned with dallas next year in twenty two twenty six for three hundred and forty five million dollars now being traded to the lakers he can only sign the supermax for i think 265 but in l a l a they'll make it up to you with endorsements and yeah exactly crime me a river ralph thought's on the opening of the brutalest epic score it's it's a really really good it's i can't i'm actually very excited to finish it um i'm very
Starting point is 01:25:38 excited to finish. Wait you get to that second bar, bro. I know, I'm sure. I'm sure. Ash Trefoam, I love Bayes Transformers for Shia alone. The way he gets actors like him and Jillon Hall an ambulance to go balls and the wall's amazing, ridiculousness. Sure. By the way, shout out to Ash's avatar. That's
Starting point is 01:25:57 from Cinema Padidisa, one of the great international movies. I agree with you. Yes, everything you said. People love to unwind in Bay's hands, and he lets them, so why not? I am Jack's 12. unfamiliar with the Oscar non-process, but feel like some of this could have been avoided with better due diligence
Starting point is 01:26:14 before nominated announcement, rule changes? Maybe. Maybe there's like, you know, there is because of the, there has to be kind of a thing that you pay attention to or what you, I don't know about, look, if you're going to have a behavior and that type of thing,
Starting point is 01:26:28 these tweets were made years ago, too. 2020. No, there was something like 2016, I thought. Yeah, a couple from 2016, but most of them are from 2020, 2021 during COVID. Yeah. Yeah. But like this is the thing, the Academy should not be the one that has to go through the
Starting point is 01:26:45 nominee's tweets. That has to be the studio's responsibility. And I think THR wrote an article calling out Netflix, Netflix's social media team for not doing their due diligence and vetting these actors and what have you for the situation. So I think it's more a fault of the studio. And I think the Academy has the right to rescind the nomination because they can say in the studio, you didn't do your due diligence, so we're removing the nomination sucking. That's a better route.
Starting point is 01:27:12 John Roe? The Pout law, there you go. I couldn't say this verbally over the air, so I'll just type it out. I'm not wearing any pants, and I'm sitting on a bucket, so no bathroom breaks here, folks. That's a shame. That's a shame. I mean, the Poutlaw, this is tough. He shows up on a lot of shows.
Starting point is 01:27:27 He's a terrible quote of me. It's a shame. Jim 1. Could Captain America 4 underperform in Canada and Mexico? Let's see how this plays first. before we were he's talking about tariffs. Oh, that's really. Yeah. But I, but I got to see. I think John made a good point before how it plays. Go, Paul. I heard the name, uh, Jamie and I brought it Escaloncah
Starting point is 01:27:45 to mine. That's the first Jamie in my head. Fair enough. Um, Michael McKenzie. Hey, Jens. I was at a centers game on Saturday and it was a star Star Wars team night. It made me wonder, would you go to a sporting event? You don't give a F about if it was about Star Wars. Sorry, we'd boo. Um, no, I, I wouldn't, Not these days. Not these days. Yeah. Not really.
Starting point is 01:28:08 Yeah, I don't like to go to public events with a lot of people anymore just for a number of reasons. But yes, the Star Wars thing would have been fun younger. And the boo thing, I think he's referencing some of the Canadian fans booed the U.S. anthem over the weekend in their respective sporting events. Yeah, I see some people who are writing, did they miss my first super chat? The answer is probably yes, because I, like I said, John's going to go through them in a second of the week that we missed. because I missed a bunch because I signed out before and I and I only have so many here. So if give us once I go through all the ones that I do have, John's going to go back and look at the ones that I'm going.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Met Bolt. What's up, James? Well, I didn't like Jay Uso winning either. If he chooses Gunther, it sets up high viewership for the chamber and the real WrestleMania event, whether it's punk, Sina, Seth, Drew, Paul, et cetera. Yeah, I mean, sure, but I did, but when you want. both nights i mean set ralins and and um and what's this and drew was awesome last year yeah that made the heavyweight title so much more valid yeah um i just think it takes it almost makes it
Starting point is 01:29:16 like a step above the intercontinental championship well we'll see what happens at a little nation chamber because i mean certainly w w e recently has shown the ability to uh adapt on the fly and change things like they had the rock facing roman initially but then the reaction was so strong They switched it back to Cody. So there's a very strong possibility that judging from the reactions, they make some changes at Elimination Chamber to set up the two matches for the two separate titles. We'll see. Next one.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Jospos, Amelia Perez should be judged on performance, which isn't great. You need to be Latino to make a film loved by Latinos. I understand that statement. I do understand that statement. There's a difference here. Now, you don't need to be Latino. Oh, no, I said you don't need to be Latino to make a film love by Latinos. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:04 Natural Libre prove that. That was my point earlier. I love Nacho Libre and you're 100% right, Chasphos. I love Nachelina. There's not a Latino bone in Jack Black's body and he's fantastic. Oh, my God. Mr. Inde Fanatic, I was quoting Grasping a Scrauss just saw it. Oh, I got to go back to that now.
Starting point is 01:30:20 Now I got to see. What is Grasman? That's my pilot that I made. Oh. Wise a Slesinger and, nice. There is it. Oh, there it is.
Starting point is 01:30:30 okay. If I knew Sprints two-year contract would have kept random dicks out of my girlfriend. Yes, I probably would have gone with that. Young Harleff is wild to see. Okay, now a lot more stent considering I wrote that. If I knew this
Starting point is 01:30:48 two years, yeah, I was very proud of myself with that joke. I knew the Sprints two-year contract would keep random dicks out of my girlfriend. Yes, thank you very much. I love it. Okay. Brooklyn, breaking. I just read that Henry Cavill is confirmed for Bond. What?
Starting point is 01:31:03 No, that's not true. People haven't pushed that narrative for you. I'm not sure. Luis Soria Ramirez. How about the name Wivotis and not Big Cajonis? I guess we haven't really coined it yet. Jasvo, what movie made you fall in love with the craft? I mean, Star Wars is the easy
Starting point is 01:31:20 answer and the true answer. John? Probably Citizen Kane, which is boring, but then the godfather right afterwards. So, yeah. movie Johns the show off topic is obes running the christian oliver show a lot of it yes some of it know a lot of it yes i used to do um a different program before stream yard got their crap together and and updated a lot of their stuff that's why the show looks pretty it looks like it's still obis and i can still run things through obis i run it through my interviews through obis and i'm doing i john i interviewed uh joe piscopo last week oh how was that i love joe it's great it's a great conversation so that's going to air on wednesday that's Um, okay. So how, let's see. How, let's this one. Real quick. I just saw the Law and Order episode.
Starting point is 01:32:06 Joe P. Poe and Gary Busey in the same. Oh, amazing. Gary Bucy's manager. Amazing. You should have done a watch a long ago. Oh, my God. I would have been great. Nathan Drake, companion was really good, like a funnier ex machina.
Starting point is 01:32:17 Jack Quaid is great. Either of you plan to see it also. I hope love hurts is good. Um, no, I didn't, um, I didn't see it, but I do, I would like to see it, and especially if I hear that is pretty good. Yeah. What number do you have right now? Start 149. 149. Okay, we got 149.
Starting point is 01:32:37 So let's, so why don't you tell me, let's go to some of these. Yeah, what are we got? We're not going to be able to showcase them. You're just kind of a reasonable. Apology. So Mr. 101 says, what are your overall thoughts on Elon Musk? I don't think. Okay.
Starting point is 01:32:50 I mean, look, we'll say that, well, I, thoughts, I think he knows more about UAPs than he leads on. Okay. yeah i'll say i don't need an unelected billionaire going through people's uh uh information and doling out what he thinks people should be getting paid or not getting paid because people would go crazy if the reverse was true uh jim one said could captain america be boycotted canada canada me mike we already answered that one i think oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah and then mike joy says all this oscar drama reminds me of conclave oh yeah way that it plays yeah yeah yeah
Starting point is 01:33:29 totally everyone having their favorites and making their moves and then a bunch of support from derrick two dollars support from derrick for a long time then derrick johnson says john anytime you need some financial conversations hit me up i help a lot of veterans and civilians derrick i will be hitting you up absolutely dming you on that uh and then a bunch of support from derrick thank you derrick a bunch of i don't know how many want are you like 30 40 of these he did a lot of them then we get to hank pym saying yeat seeing royal rumble live was insane three biggest pops were Joe Hendry. Hell yeah. Alexa Bliss and of course, Sina. I love Jay, but very strange choice to win.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Yeah. I understand this is the one thing that I will say to that I understand that the guy's popular. Yeah. I understand that he gets, I mean, he gets, he gets the crowd excited when he comes out and he's got a lot of energy and everything too. I just don't think he's a main event guy in the same way. Look, and where I don't know if you made Gunther a baby face if he would be good. He says he's good as a villain and he's really good technically in the ring. So he's found his niche in the same way that Drew McIntyre. I thought Drew McIntyre was dreadful as a baby face. And I remember Aaron Turner, that's the guy.
Starting point is 01:34:41 That's the next big guy. And I'm like, no way. He's dull. He's boring. Then they turned him like real heel. Yeah. And I'm like,
Starting point is 01:34:48 he's found his thing. Great as well. Yeah. Now, I think that Jay has found his thing. I just don't think Jay is, I mean, very electric on the mic.
Starting point is 01:34:57 I think he's just kind of, just has like seven things that he really can maneuver to before, but you can't be a champion like that. I don't think Cody Rhodes is that great on the mic either. But I don't disagree with you on Cody. I don't disagree with you on Cody. Yeah. But he's bad,
Starting point is 01:35:11 but I understand why he's the guy. Yeah. Like I understand why Cody is the guy. I don't understand why. And they're not even going to make J-U's to the guy. He's going to be fighting. That's the other thing. My friend just texted me and said,
Starting point is 01:35:23 the thing that annoys me about that is if you win the Royal Rumble, Like if, like, if we're saying that, that, let's say that all these characters were real people. Mm-hmm. And you won the Royal Rumble. Why in the hell would you go after that heavyweight title? You'd go after the title that meant the most. If you're, if you're going to, if you're Jay Uso, you would go after Cody. But you and I both know, he's not going after Cody.
Starting point is 01:35:47 Nope. But you would if it was, it doesn't make any sense. But, um, all right, let me, let me go with this one before you. Okay. Monica, hi, Monica. Watching the Brutalist right now, just got to the, intermission. So far, I'm enjoying it. Barely felt the length so far.
Starting point is 01:36:01 I think that's the whole point, though, right? It's like when you're watching it at home, you're watching it at home, you get more of a chance to do that. But unless you're in the theater and you're texting us from the lobby. Monica, brace yourself for that second part. Yeah. You have no idea where it's going. Oh, I don't say it. Speaking of not knowing where it's going, so
Starting point is 01:36:19 we just, you know, our Marvel rewatches have been doing really well for us. And Sam, we just put on Ragnarok on Saturday, Black Panther comes out tomorrow and then Infinity Wars on Friday. We have not recorded that yet. We're supposed to record it tonight, but she can't do it. So we're going to do it tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:36:34 She's going to be a mess. Yeah. I was watching it on T&T last night for about an hour. Dude, it hits even with the commercial breaks. Yeah. And that's a damn good movie. The Spider-Man moment, good night. Monica says she is watching it at the theater.
Starting point is 01:36:49 Well, there you go. What's the next one? Oh, Hank Pam says, was hoping Paul, Logan Paul would dump out Sina to win the rumble. I want to see a heel win the rumble. Thoughts on what's next for Punk, Rollins, and Roman. Probably going to wind up doing like a,
Starting point is 01:37:05 you know, whether the chamber match, whatever, and Punk will wind up winning that, I would assume because you want to see Roman, I would like to see Roman fight the rock. That would be a good one in a one-on-one match if they're going to do it. I don't know if they're going to do it. I think the time they could make that happen,
Starting point is 01:37:21 but like I'd like to see Punk go for the title if he's going to do it, go for it. It'd be great if they gave it. to them. They won't, but it would be good to have them actually have a bunch. But that's the problem. Who is the- You're about to get, you know what? I want to invite you on the fucking show. Screen time, pissing me off. So I don't see enough. I watch, first of all, whether or not, you know, I don't know how much you know. I wrote for the fucking company for a while.
Starting point is 01:37:43 I was, every single day was, was involved in it for when I was Schmowdown and everything as to watching it every single day. And then I took, I took, I've taken a break for like the less since WrestleMania, been watching as much. I know the business probably better than you pal. Probably you do know the business. Right. So give me a break. And for now, because again,
Starting point is 01:38:02 you might be the rest of it, you got to shut your ass. That's all I'm asking you for now. Just shut your ass. All right. Go ahead. Okay. Yeah, I think the Punk Rollins Roman thing
Starting point is 01:38:12 could be a fun WrestleMania match, a triple threat with the three of them if you're not going to give them a shot at the titles. But yes, eventually punk has to get a shot here. Derek Johnson says, last time I came on, I told people to check their finances.
Starting point is 01:38:22 I'm going to say it again. Nothing political, but please make sure you're accounting for all your expenses. please have access to information and make sure someone who shouldn't have access does it doesn't have access so yeah uh and then Derek says what's up bastages glad to be back nice johnny dangerously yeah yeah i brought we talked about johnny dangerously for sure got to keep moving forward love the show and all the fans as always and then a bunch of support from derrick as well we got a couple from tim oh yeah what's him take it yeah because tim i'm glad that you picked that one up
Starting point is 01:38:53 because i missed i missed it there's two of them here from tim thank you tim both uh both uh in 1999 each. Thank you, Tim. Dropping this multi-super chat here at work as I'll watch later. Thoughts on Royal Rumble, especially Charlotte's biased favoritism, still there post-Vince, maybe nepotism, and Jay's Royal Rumble win to face Gunther or Cody. We've talked about that.
Starting point is 01:39:12 Also, there will, where we'll see him, Punks, Seth Rollins, Roman, and Drew McIntyre's storyline could go post-Royer Rombo into elimination chamber in WrestleMania if they're not in the main event. Hope everyone had a good week, have a good, has a good week ahead. So Christian, your thoughts on the Charlotte situation in these four guys.
Starting point is 01:39:29 Yeah, oh, look, the Charlotte situation, like I said, I think that I get it. I understand people all right away because she's, because look, Flair and Triple H are tight. Yes. And you can see that happening, but I do think it's the right choice to have her go for a title. After with the, because you can also get, if you put Stratton over her, because look at what that did for Ria Ripley. where you're Ripley be here. It's a big, you should not have her win though. You should not have
Starting point is 01:40:01 her win. Um, so I would say, um, but I understand, I understand and I understand the pushback, but I also understand why they did it. Yeah, I personally know, I personally hated it. I'm not a fan of Charlotte coming back from injury and immediately winning a shot at the title that screams favoritism. And it also insults a lot of the incredibly talented women who are in their prime right now. And you saw them being showcased throughout the match who can wrestle better than Charlotte. Stephanie Vacour, Julia, Jordan Grace, Alexa Bliss's back. She was way better wrestler than Charlotte. Charlotte can't hit a moonsault for 20 years now.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Still can't hit a Moodsalt. So you've got all these other wrestlers, Bailey, and there's all these great fantastic wrestlers that you got Bianca, and you're putting them in the back seat for Charlotte. It just doesn't make any sense. It does scream a nepotism. And she is, she is a fabricated, concocted thing. And it's super frustrating.
Starting point is 01:40:55 And I think at the end of the day, people are going to say that she was actually the worst of the four horse women in terms of the abilities in the ring. You know, would you put Bailey or Sasha? Would you put her above Bailey, Sasha, or Becky? I should want to see. I would because I'm not, I think, I think Bailey is great for the business. I think Bailey is great. And I understand why she had the success she does.
Starting point is 01:41:14 I'm just not a big Bailey person. To me, to me, I think that I think that Charlotte Flair, to me, does, and granted, it's because of who her pops is and everything too, but I think when I, yeah, the pedigree, when I see her in there, I do see a champion, and I do, but I do think her time is, is, was yesterday. And I think that you should now use that pedigree to get new talent over. Clip, champ, raise, do you see LNA as a future champ or see the new Zach Ryder? I think they missed, they missed the wave on that. I think they blew it with him.
Starting point is 01:41:46 I think they blew it. And the audience will tell you when they want somebody. and then if you don't listen to him, they go, oh, okay. Because the schick, the schick is kind of old now. It is. And he's 42. He's not getting any younger, man. So the idea of pushing him forward with all these other guys, I just don't think he's in the,
Starting point is 01:42:04 I don't think he's in the rock bloodline like brotherhood. And I just don't think that's, I think that's not going to help him. So, yeah, it's a shame for Ali. I think Ellie's great. Nathan Drake, who saw Bianca censor hit the Grammy? So I think everybody did.
Starting point is 01:42:17 I think even big balls and big cohenies couldn't handle all that. No, they exploded together. Yes. It was absolutely. I mean, that was, yeah, I just felt so bad for her. I felt bad for her. Thank him. I had two early super chats that I believe you missed.
Starting point is 01:42:32 Did you get that? We just read them, yeah. Are those all the ones that you got, John? One more, Al Rancho said, Transformers is still dead thanks to Bay. Hashtag truth. That's ridiculous. It's not dead when it made $4.5 billion, Al, for God says. Stupid argument.
Starting point is 01:42:47 uh christian madart fatu is my favorite new wrestler he's exciting oh christian but jacob fat too he was scary yeah is that all the questions i think how many do you have total how many do you have total how many do you have 154 you have 154 okay so one 54 well i think that derrick put in a ton of like to support ones for you yeah yeah yeah yeah i'm scored 154 with 142 if anybody wants to keep us on the air come on You can. So, yes, someone wrote Ria Ripley over Julia Roberts. Get out of my face. Ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:43:23 I mean, now, I would say yes now. Yes. Oh, really? You would take a 20-year-old woman over a 57-year-old woman. No, no. It's out of ages. It's about the way they look now. I still tell you, even with that.
Starting point is 01:43:36 I would still. Stratis over Rio Ripley. People damn crazy anyway. I told you. Julie Roberts over Sydney, Sweeney. That's right, bitches. Today. What?
Starting point is 01:43:44 You would take Julie Robert? 100%. 100%. That's right. That's right. Now everybody can go nuts. Did you like the when Harry Met Sally commercial, they released, the Hulmans? Have you seen this?
Starting point is 01:43:57 Yeah, it was fun. It was fun. It's nice to see that, for sure. All right. I think that's it then. Do we miss? I want to mate. Do we miss anything there or I want to make sure that we got everybody?
Starting point is 01:44:09 Yeah. Has anyone not had their thing read out? I want to make sure. Yeah, because that's that's exactly right. I'm heartbroker rating it to 200 because I mean, that would have been enough. 156 is pretty damn good. I don't think it's, I don't know if you're, I don't know anybody's going to be 156.
Starting point is 01:44:25 I don't know if it is and Coya are going to get double, double whining and they're going to beg people to get them to 175. And I can't compete with that for God's. Yeah. All right. Well, that's it, everybody. All right. Bobby Jackson said he's writing one.
Starting point is 01:44:39 So, all right, we'll wait for Bobby's. And then we'll see if, if, if Rok is able to take out the rest of the crew this week. Roxy had a good performance last week, so we'll see. I love rocks. I'm shocked rocks is only one times. Rocks is the best. Only because,
Starting point is 01:44:54 Jinks, I love you, and I'm not going to, and it's not forever, but it's just right now. I just put jinks in timeout for making a comment about Julia Roberts. You don't do that here. You don't do that here. Just got banned.
Starting point is 01:45:10 Not from the channel. Just for me. five minutes. We'll probably be off the air. We'll probably be off the air. But that's it. Derek throws in another one. Hey, thank you, Derek. I am Jackson. Roxy comes in with the red again. You're in trouble.
Starting point is 01:45:24 That's true. She wore red lipstick last week and everybody lost their minds. Oh, she put the red lip on. Bobby Jackson. Thoughts on Brandon Scunarving. I had to play Nova. Yeah, we talked about that. Yeah, what did you say? We talked about it on Friday. I don't want them to. Okay.
Starting point is 01:45:40 I don't want them to. I don't know what a Nova is. That's him. It's like, give him Batman. Nova. What's a Nova? What's a Nova? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:49 It's a powerful, it's a powerful entity there in the Marvel. You know, so it could be interesting. But Batman, I hear you. I hear you. Maybe the way he's going. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:58 I can't find the Caval thing confirmed anywhere. So I think it's just people trying to do. Okay. So now, what's, what's your final number here? Uh, now 159. 159.
Starting point is 01:46:10 159. 159. So thank you everybody for joining us here today. John, where can the people find you? Who's find me at the Rokas on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok and Blue Sky. Don't forget about blue sky. Trying to build up there. Please come follow me there. My YouTube channel at YouTube.com slash John Roka says might be going live tonight to talk more about the Amelia Perez situation, the Justin Baldoni stuff if I can get through that entire website. But I will, I'm looking at going live tonight.
Starting point is 01:46:37 And then tomorrow, a special spill to tequila with my brother Winston-A Marshall in the afternoon, about that big Luca trade and other things like the Grammys and what have you so look for all that coming up and then tomorrow of course the fantastic four trailer stuff but thank you christ for have me on job free leave to me a favorite give me give me a screenshot of the 160 i believe it is now and just uh and just text that to me so i know what what i'm working with this week 161 right 161 okay so just text that to me so i have it thank you guys for joining us here today as i mentioned thank you to john oh we got more now so it might be oh all right hitchcock became a new member so i guess that's 163. Steph is on this week.
Starting point is 01:47:13 She's Steph's on Thursday. And I think and I don't know when Brett's on. He thinks coming on this week and I've got to figure up between him and Mike. How's he did it? He's good. He's just been, yeah, he's been battling back. Oh, we've got another one. There you go.
Starting point is 01:47:27 Aidan Mujama. I like Jay winning. His, what was his, W.HC match versus Gunther versus WrestleMania, a World Heavyweight Championship. Yeah. Is the culmination of a five-year story when he first became an event J.
Starting point is 01:47:41 Usen, right, but that goes back to what John and I talked about before. Yeah. You were going to do that? They handled the booking terribly. They shouldn't have had him fight gone through recently. They shouldn't build up. They shouldn't like when he was,
Starting point is 01:47:55 the way that they did really well was when he was losing all those close fights because his brother kept getting involved and the build up to that match was great. And how he just couldn't get it done every time he was right there. His brother or somebody else would get involved. That was great.
Starting point is 01:48:09 Yeah. It was great. But now it's just like, they dropped the ball on it. They dropped the ball on it. Derek Johnson's support. Thank you, Derek. Oh, we got to stay on that.
Starting point is 01:48:18 No, I know. Sunsuit. New Spider-Man cartoon is dope. I haven't seen yet. Don't see the problem. So what, Norman is black.
Starting point is 01:48:24 Nobody complained when Scarjo was cast as the major and ghost in the shell. Well, people, people definitely complained. That's not true. But it doesn't mean that they shouldn't, your point's not lost. But,
Starting point is 01:48:38 Yes, they did. Very much so and very loudly. The two were this one and Emma Stone in Aloha playing in Japanese or an Asian character. So please, yeah, no. Did you address, this is from Saul? What's up, Saul? Did you address the wrestling controversy over the weekend about how Roka thinks I'm too skinny? Yeah. Did you see his match?
Starting point is 01:48:58 He sent the, no, I haven't seen his match. You only sent me pictures of himself in his wrestling gear. And he is so trimmed down. He looks like a middleweight. He is the perfect person to be a wrestling. I'll tell you, dude, he is strong as a bull. Really? Dude.
Starting point is 01:49:15 So we did, I don't even know if I've ever told him this. He, I have, you know, been in scraps before. I've, I've handled strong people before. This dude, when we were doing a bit for Schmowdown, when he is like, ultimately when he turned face. And it was the whole Merle Bateman thing. and he came in to protect Peggy. And he, and he,
Starting point is 01:49:40 look, he sold, he sold it, like, so much so that some of the, the crew didn't know if he was really getting, you know, he was,
Starting point is 01:49:47 and he was pushing forward to get to Bateman. Yeah. And I had to hold him back. It was not easy. I couldn't believe it. I said, holy shit, because he's,
Starting point is 01:49:57 because he's a smaller dude, but he is a strong, strong dude. So I could definitely see him being a wrestler. Like, he's, he's like freakish strength kind of, kind of dude.
Starting point is 01:50:06 So I'm excited to see that he's doing that. I hope he did. And he's great on the mic. It's great on the mic. Brooklyn, support for Roka. Thank you. Some more support here. Go pal Roka.
Starting point is 01:50:17 Did you see Josh Harris saying he's not changing commanders because the fan base is embracing it? I'm happy for that because there have been too many people from a certain political bent who want to go back to the old name. And we should never go back to the old name. It's done. Grow up. Get over it. As they love to tell us. Get up and get over it.
Starting point is 01:50:35 We are the commanders now. And I think Jaden Daniels is going to lead us to the Promise Land with that new logo and establish us firmly as the commanders. And they're going to make some tweaks that will evoke the old skins outfits from the back in the day. So I think it's going to be a nice combination of both. I think people have embraced commanders. Yes, absolutely. Except for a loud minority of people are complaining. That might be the one downside of our magic season.
Starting point is 01:51:02 What? That he's embracing the commanders. sorry go pal i like it if you want to go back in time there's plenty of footage of that on youtube this is the way forward and there's no better name that i've heard yet to take that place uh nathan drake didn't christian say julia rober says curse come on man i'm not talking about today fool i'm talking about did you did you see did have you not seen mystic pizza oh shit she's got boots in mystic pizza dude oh i mean i i i always gives that she always says like oh i had a i had a big butt i didn't like it what the fuck you
Starting point is 01:51:34 talking about for Hollywood standards incredible um Derek Johnson thank you Derek let's see next one fatu Brecker for mania book it forced the ring Hank Pim what do you say did you see those the broad the broad breakers uh spears he was delivering it was incredible it's scary as hell when he gets full speed man he's not going to be able to do that for too long though no you're right because he's going yeah it's going to get oh yeah it's going to get oh it's going to hurt himself yeah he's going to get hurt eventually eventually he's going to mean because that's It's terrifying when he does that. It's a great, but he's like the new Goldberg.
Starting point is 01:52:08 Him and Fatu. That's a main event coming at some point down the road. It's going to be great. Derek Johnson, thank you, buddy. Go, pal. Then I'll let you off the air today, John. Oh, wow. Go pal.
Starting point is 01:52:20 I agree. Never go back to the old one, but I'd like something else is what he's saying. That's fair. I can say that. I can see that. Derek. All right. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:52:32 I think that's it. So what are you? I'm just kidding. What do we got now? 184. 184. I think we stay on six more minutes and see what happens. See what happened.
Starting point is 01:52:43 Well, no, it doesn't work that. It's not fair. Winston would have an absolute fit if I did that. Because normally what we do is we'll give people a chance to sign off and what happened with Steph when we're about to sign off. And then if people want to keep us on, we stay on. But I can't, but we got to make sure that we get. There's another one that.
Starting point is 01:53:02 This is Derek, so signing off. Oops, Mike is going to lose his mind, maybe. All right, I'll try again. This is what I do. I try to sign off. And if they don't want me to sign off, then they throw something in it. Which is what they did. So this counts.
Starting point is 01:53:15 It did last. Of course, that's what it counted. That's what happened with Steph. Steph was at like 27 questions or something like that when we were signing off. And then she wound up getting like 120. It was ridiculous. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:53:27 All right. Okay. For now. That's it. That's what you think. So thank you for. being here. Sam and our,
Starting point is 01:53:35 Sam or you can check out the Marvel ones, but let me ask you this. Roque it. J-Lo or Julia Roberts today. You're an idiot. That's tough. That is tough. They both annoy me.
Starting point is 01:53:53 So I don't know. I guess Julia, because then I might meet George Clooney. So I would say, but of course they both have connections. No, I'd say Julia because I might meet George Clooney and get into an ocean spill.
Starting point is 01:54:06 That's what I would say. You disgust me with everything you say. All right. Derek says, you're 205 today. So you said we're going to hit 200. What do we have right now? 188.
Starting point is 01:54:18 188. I don't know. I'm about to sign off. Yeah, we're signing off. So I appreciate everybody who's keep you keep it. See,
Starting point is 01:54:27 you can't ever complain that this doesn't happen to you. One time does not make the rule. Come on. You know that. Come on. You're going to, this is, if you lose this week, then I,
Starting point is 01:54:35 I would absolutely love to see a, a ranting text because I think it'll be deserved but it'll be absolutely hilarious. You're misrepresenting me. I just send one sentence. One angry text. One angry text. All right. Thank you guys for being here.
Starting point is 01:54:51 I appreciate it for everybody once again. We'll be back here tomorrow and I really cannot thank you guys enough. Look at PLD. Yeah. What's the like with someone? It ain't that the truth. Ain't that the truth?
Starting point is 01:55:09 He knows he's in trouble this week. When someone else puts the finger on the scale and when we're cry, cry. But when you do it, it's okay. Ain't that the truth? That is Texas logic if I ever saw it. If I ever saw it. Look at Derek. He's still helping
Starting point is 01:55:25 you out. Thank you, Derek. All right. Thank you guys. And I do, we have a crazy week also coming up because I even said, I got Infinity War reaction, end game reaction coming up. Black Panther reaction coming up. I get out of the theater, non-spoiler and spoiler review for the new Captain America movie.
Starting point is 01:55:43 I'm going to do a few more of the Squid Game episodes. So I'll make sure that's going to be up there. And I think that's it. So, John, give me that screenshot now. And let's get the hell out of here. Thanks for being here, everybody. Appreciate you. And we'll see you on the flip side.
