Starting point is 00:00:00 Matt Money Smith here talking Galpin Ford. Did you know they have employee pricing going on right now from May 26th through the end of the month, May 31st. That's right. Galpin Ford employee pricing. And that's good pricing. Why? Because they've been in business for 80 years since 1946. They have a massive inventory.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Mike Schwartz is the general manager, the number one guy there. You're going to ask for him by name, not to mention the number one volume dealer in the world, 29 years in a row. That's what Galpin Ford has. You can do it all online at Galpinford.com. Find your vehicle. They'll drive it right to you and get employees. pricing the 26 through the 31st. Marketing is hard. But I'll tell you a little secret. It doesn't have to be. Starting point is 00:01:08 That's L-I-B-S-Y-N-AIDS.com today. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the big thing. It is Thursday. And we are going to be doing a list of the most anticipated, not top 10, not top 20, just a bunch of different movies. A bunch of different shows that are coming out. this year,
Starting point is 00:01:34 2004. What will we be talking about? Well, Roxy Stryer is going to be leading the gang here today and telling us about all of the TV shows that are the most anticipated things that we should be looking out for. And I have a funny feeling that Roxy is going to probably pull out some of these shows that we've never even heard of that she's going to, you guys need to take a look because this is going to be the one that's going to hit the shits.
Starting point is 00:01:59 And I'm ready. I'm ready to hit the shits. So welcome back to 2024, you rats. I love you all to death, and it's going to be a good one. So subscribe to the channel. Good pitch. Do it. Please, let's do this.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Apple podcast, Spotify, anywhere that the pod kizis are found. And let's move and groove into. into the new year. Let's do this shit. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the big thing. It's myself. Christian Harloff.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Roxanne Stryer, Brett Sherrodune, and us together again, 2024. Roxy, why can't you tell somebody that they look spelt? I don't know. It just feels like we're not supposed to comment on anybody's bodies at all anymore, right?
Starting point is 00:03:04 That's what Jonah Hill said. Is that what he said? Yeah. But you said, I mean, you said that fat fuck? No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Oh, good. I thought 2024 we would have all had resolutions
Starting point is 00:03:17 that helped us grow and change. I'm so glad to see you still the same breath. I think you can't tell someone there's spelt when there's another dude in the room that you didn't say look spelt. I got a diet for you if you want to use it. Yeah. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:03:32 The same thing I did in 2016. I probably commented on it then. Maybe. Maybe. The reason why I did, I mean, I've lost seven pounds. Nice. And I got on the scale right after like Christmas time. And I looked and I was like, the first time ever was like pushing 220.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Really? Yeah. I was pushing 220. What's a normal weight for somebody your height? Well, it depends. I mean, body structure. What's the weight that you are happy with? So I, when I was, in 2010.
Starting point is 00:04:06 16, the best that I had hit was like 194. And that's where you feel comfortable? Yeah, but I, but my buddy who was a, my friend who was, I talked about it on a Collider, who's a chef, and we talked about it and we promoted his brand at the time, my buddy John. What was the name of his brand, Christian? No, he, it no longer exists, so I don't want to bring it up anymore. But he, but he's a chef and he's bodybuilder and he's all this stuff. So he, he had sent me this, this thing to, like a great diet.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I had for like eight months was on it and it was the best shape I was in my life. I was like, I remember even when I was working a Fandango, I was strict to it. And I was the healthiest I'd been ever. And then I looked like, I go, I got to see if I still have his text. And I went through it from that thing and I just started following it. But then I just reached out to him. And he's like, yeah, that's good from, you know, it was almost 10 years ago. But he's like other things you can do also.
Starting point is 00:04:58 And so I did. And it was just, I dropped like, again, eight pounds in like four days. Are you doing exercise or you're just walking a lot more like with, with the dog. I just take it like longer walks with the dog, but I'm gonna, my goal is eat well, and then once the move happens,
Starting point is 00:05:15 if that does indeed happen. What are you talking about? New York, I talked to you about it already. You know, yeah, people know. I talked about it on the air once. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:21 You told them? Yeah. Why? Because it's more real to you now. Yeah. I say that. Oh. I don't think you're going
Starting point is 00:05:26 because I don't want you to. Well, I appreciate that. No, I think I'm happy for you and also hope you don't go. Like, are really the big thing? We're not the big thing. Yeah. Big thing is every... But is it the three of us are the big thing or everyone's the big thing?
Starting point is 00:05:41 Every show is the big thing. So the three of us are not the big thing? No. I thought so. Did you? The whole thing, aren't you thought... So what did you think that... Capes and Cows is a big thing...
Starting point is 00:05:50 Brand. I thought Caps and Caps and Cows. I thought Sith was Sith. It's just the name... They're all big thing. I thought Yop was yupp. And I thought we were the big thing. Well, they're all the big thing.
Starting point is 00:05:58 No, I thought we were the big thing proper. Yeah. We are kind of... I would say we're big thing proper. You're big thing proper. To be honest, I thought we were the biggest thing. That's fair. And then Roka would be Big Thing Live.
Starting point is 00:06:10 UAP Tuesday on Tuesday. Wednesday is, even though we don't really do Sith Council, really. So that's the thing. But you will. You know, when the shows out. Although, Steph and I talked about yesterday for the whole show was essentially the comments of director Chenoy for the new Star Wars movie. And we discussed that for like 40.
Starting point is 00:06:34 We're thirst trap Thursday. That's right. Yeah. That's right. Because I'm so sveled. You are. You're looking good, man. I like what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I'm not doing shit. I like that hat. I got a, yeah, didn't get a new hat for Christmas. Did you ask for one? No. What did you ask for? Nothing. Good.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Do you guys have focuses for 2024? Um, yeah. I just told you. Did the move? Yeah. Sorry. Hey, you have focuses on like or not? You don't like you now.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Probably not. So the focus It's continue building out the channel and that's what I'm saying I think that there's a way that we can Because we can do what we're doing My thing is I don't want to do a digital show Where it's like again the stream yard
Starting point is 00:07:19 Stuff I want to be able to give you guys your own shots And we're not gonna lose anything What's your sub count goal of the year? For the end of the year Do you have one? I think I mean ideally it would be 200 Yeah But I think that I think
Starting point is 00:07:32 Let's go Realistically, we're probably looking at $150. You don't know. Maybe not. I mean, if you look at the, if we do the same numbers that we did last year, which we're proud of. So, we'll see. I could just come to your place and we could do that. I was thinking of that.
Starting point is 00:07:47 I was thinking of that, too. And then we can set up the lighting at her place. But actually, that would be great if you guys could be. And I almost would want to do the same thing with Winston and Coy and have them be in the same room. But we'll figure all that stuff out. I don't even know if any of this is going to make the show. We'll see. What?
Starting point is 00:08:01 Why? I don't know. I know yet. Because you may not move? Maybe not, we'll see. But before we move on to the TV stuff, which we have a ton of. Yeah, so much. I've never been so excited to talk about TV as when I was looking last night at everything that's coming out.
Starting point is 00:08:18 So much. So what would you rather talk about first? Upcoming TV or dates? Might it? Yeah. Any good ones? Well, I actually. Oh, look at you.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Lightening it up. Who you got? Who you got? The dimples just got dimple here. Somebody good? I don't know. I haven't met him. Oh.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm in my era. I'm honestly, I'm just in my groove. I'm, I'm, I feel like I'm attracting a lot right now and that will give me more options because I kind of was like, actually, let me take a step. And then they all came out of a little bit.
Starting point is 00:09:02 So, yeah, there's two different guys right now that I'm hopefully going to be meeting up with this week. Hopefully they don't watch the show. Yeah. Don't care if they do. Fair enough. Okay, let me ask you guys this. Yes. One of the guys has zero social media.
Starting point is 00:09:15 I thought that was a little bit of red flag. What you think? Maybe I think it's the opposite. Well, it just feels like married with children then. Like, do you actually not have social media? Oh, you mean like, so what? Oh, he's hiding? Like he's off the grid and he's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Yeah, just like, you know, because because you guys know I'm super slow, I'm not going to somebody's house. for a long time. So it's hard for me to know, and there's so... I'm slow? Is it because I'm slow? I know what you're man. Show the people what you're doing to me, right? What I do?
Starting point is 00:09:44 You stayed on me while you died laughing at me. Wasn't making faces. Fine. I'm super slow. Not in all areas of life, but sexually and datingly. And... I'm going. Does that come from your fucking armpit? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Holy shit. What? How are you doing that? I didn't do anything. What are you doing? You're talking about finish. Holy shit. You've never seen that before?
Starting point is 00:10:11 That loud? Just do it. What the fuck are you doing? No one heard anything. Go do you think. Can you teach me that later? Can you finish your story? Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:19 So. This is a new thing you've never seen? I don't want to because my armpits are always kind of stinky. But yeah, I can do that. So like that it would be on your hand or that? Yeah. Can you try? I don't want to touch my armpit.
Starting point is 00:10:34 I hate the coloring. Would you rather smell Christian's hands or touch your own armpit? I don't want to, because then if it's stinky, I'm having stink issues lately that I'm dealing with. And I think it's, I need to eat cleaner. But midday I'll be pretty, pretty ripe. Okay. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:10:56 There, oh, better. Yeah, I was really red. Yeah, that's what we talked about at the start of the show. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. And I'm orange. Umpa, lumpa. Okay, whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:05 He has no social. You guys know I'm slow sexually and datingly. And so it takes me a long time to know somebody's life. And if you're not going to their place and you have no social media and there's no way to track this guy online, it's like, are you married with kids? I asked him straight up. Are you married with kids? And he was like, well, what the fuck? Why would you ask me that?
Starting point is 00:11:23 No. But he doesn't live here. Does he live? Ralph's? No. Where? He lives in the bay. Oh, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:11:31 In the bay? Like Aquaman? Yeah. Don't don't you can't no you can't do that Roxie you thought that was a really good one No that's why I just that's why I just tried to roll over that I tried to just like help him out and just keep talking over it He's just sitting in the bay It's in the ocean
Starting point is 00:11:51 It's straight of Atlanta's yeah I know go ahead Um okay I actually Yeah don't get into a long distance thing No I actually don't mind that because you guys know I really like to see somebody like twice a month. Oh. For starting off.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Like four years? But he's from here. So eventually I think he would be here. His family lives here. Yeah. His kids and his wife. Yeah, they live in Atlanta. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Okay. So that's a good one. And I am excited about him because he's been super, super sweet and seems like a nice guy. Like what? Doesn't send dick pics. Would that be super, super, super sweet? No, I'm saying because he doesn't send him. Don't.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Right. I mean, at this day and age, it is not. Yeah, no, I guess by Super Sweet, I mean the bar is on the floor, so he's just been nice. That's what I mean. He's been like a nice, normal, inquisitive person. We have a lot in common, and he seems really cool. This is the no social media guy. No social media guy.
Starting point is 00:12:46 He's in the cannabis industry, which I like because... Step up. Yeah, and like not in the entertainment industry at all, but from here. Kind of in the entertainment industry. Yeah. It's an entertainment. I guess, but not in a way. Not like, you know, like, when I was with the actor or whatever.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Yeah, yeah. And then there's this other guy who's a lawyer who asked me out for tonight, Thursday, and I said yes, and then I had to cancel because I have work. So I feel bad about that, but I actually think he's really, really sweet, too. And I'm going to hopefully see him by, so by next show. You'll have more stories. Yes, for sure. We'll see who. I'm rooting for cannabis, not because of cannabis.
Starting point is 00:13:29 I just don't trust lawyers. Yeah. What kind of lawyer? Entertainment lawyer. Yeah. Pass. I've met some nice entertainment lawyers. It's actually not true.
Starting point is 00:13:38 I know some good ones too. Yeah. I almost just dead at him. No, with some point, yeah. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. I feel iffy on lawyers too because I also feel like they're always looking for an argument. But so far he seems like a good one.
Starting point is 00:13:55 And I do like somebody's an entertainment lawyer, at least they understand what I do, but they don't do what I do. Right. So we'll see. And he's cute. They're both really cute. Okay. Well, good enough.
Starting point is 00:14:04 I have a dick pick story. Oh, please tell me who you sent it to. I sent it to Roxy and she didn't reply. No, my... Because it smelt so fucking bad. I will say that my... That it was what? What was wrong?
Starting point is 00:14:18 She said it smelled so bad. He said, what was wrong? Yeah. Was it... You said... You said it... No, I will preface this by saying this involves my daughter, but my daughter did not see...
Starting point is 00:14:29 this and it was just something she was a part of but there was a fight at school one gal slapped another gal because they were friends How old was these kids? This is middle school and because the one friend
Starting point is 00:14:45 did a loyalty test against her friend's boyfriend where she like was like hey what's up you know send me a picture and he did and then I guess these girls sent it out to a bunch of other girls.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Again, my daughter said she didn't see it, but... She obviously did, Brett. Yeah. This is a big TikTok trend. Loyalty test thing. It's really, really weird. It's so, but apparently you're supposed to, it's supposed to be,
Starting point is 00:15:17 the girlfriend's supposed to say, would you do this a loyalty test for my boyfriend? Right. Yeah. This was unsolicited loyalty test. Okay, so then it's not. Yeah, so, but I'm just like, am I really dealing with this?
Starting point is 00:15:29 in the seventh grade. Okay, maybe this will make you feel better. Maybe this will make you feel worse, Brett. When I was in eighth grade, flip phones were just starting to be a thing, a camera phone on your thing. So I was dating this guy, and I was super obsessed with him,
Starting point is 00:15:47 just adored him. I've actually told a million stories about him on the other show. Is this the one that had the baby? This is the one with the baby. This is the guy in the jungle room. He's all the stories. This guy was the man. And he was my boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:15:59 and my best friend called him unbeknownst to me and said, well, you come to school early and meet me in the bathroom. I have to show you something. So he did go to school early. He didn't tell me he was doing that. She didn't tell me. And she had done a naked photo shoot on her phone. And was eighth grade.
Starting point is 00:16:19 And just made him sit there while he scrolled through them while she scrolled through them. I'm so sorry to you guys with daughters. But I think it's very very. very, very common at that age, you start kind of like being curious and doing F shit. You're welcome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:39 We broke up after that. It would make sense. That would be it. Okay, well, good. The dick pick thing was post my my dating years or whatever, and I don't want any of this. Yeah, I don't think,
Starting point is 00:16:52 and my sister was in town and said she was like, nobody wants to see that shit. No, it's true. But speaking of which, before we move into the TV, there was a mini series. on Apple called the dick pick, right? Oh, God, that thing was tough. Well, and it's, yeah, that's the, I mean, that's kind of what remind me of it because it's
Starting point is 00:17:08 young kids too. Yeah. And it's like, it's like euphoria. Well, you say young kids, like 26, right? No, well, I mean, they're 26, but they're playing like 18, 19. Oh, yeah, yeah. And, uh, it was the subtitle was one-eyed, when it's monster? One on Jack is back.
Starting point is 00:17:23 One-eyed Jack is back. Yeah, yeah. And, no, it's disturbing. It's like euphoria, but also just worse. like sexually. Scripted? Who's in it? Who's in it?
Starting point is 00:17:33 That's, uh, well, Ben Haggis. Ben Haggis. Uh, Kieran. Nightly. Fartling. And Sidney Sweeney. Sydney Sweeney. Sydney Sweeney.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Great. Good, good. Okay, so look out for that one wherever, uh, Sydney Swinney did an interview this week where she called her boobs, her best friends. I don't know. I thought that was the cutest thing I've heard of my life. All right. Well, there you go.
Starting point is 00:17:55 All right. Listen to me. Before we, uh, before we, uh, before we, move on. Your dad. Listen to me. Listen to me. All right.

Starting point is 00:21:04 All right, Roxy. Yeah. Take us to town. What are we got? Boundown. Well, I am curious. Oh, no. Don't take us to pound town.
Starting point is 00:21:13 I mean, unless you want to. So you're saying you date married, man. What? I really hope not, man. To be the other woman would be actually my biggest nightmare. You guys know I'm super neurotic. If I didn't know and then I was, I would just, You would leave.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Yeah, of course I would, but I would feel horrible. Of course you would. That's what I mean that. That's why, I mean, you would leave. Obviously, you would leave. There are tons of people who don't. These people that pull off- I think it's psychotic.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Pull off the two families? Oh, that's crazy. That's the one that's why would you want to do that? They are so sociopathic and then to decide to stay. It's like, that wasn't a lie they told. That was a whole life. Yeah. I can barely handle one.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Yeah. Okay. Before I get into my list of things to make sure that you guys are attention to do you guys without looking it up or anything are there shows that you're excited about have you guys been seeing ads yeah what do you got so i'll tell you the two the two that popped to mind um are arcane season two did you watch season one yes oh good loved arcane season one so we'll start with that we'll start with arcane season one let's start with that so this is really highly anticipated especially because i believe season one came out in 2021 so yeah but i think i watched in the beginning of
Starting point is 00:22:26 2020 so it's been years i haven't actually seen this but All my, the respected TV fans that I know have this in their top three of their list. One of the best animated shows. If not, one of the best shows I've seen in a very long time. That's what I hear. So this is the top of the list for you. One of the top. It's not, it's not the top.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Is this with your daughter's watch or this is too? No, no. It's more. It's violent? I think she can handle it now. But when it came out, it was a little, it was a little too adult for her. But now she's watching, like, stranger things and she's watching all these together. So I would say.
Starting point is 00:23:00 this is definitely on the top of my list for anticipated. I loved this show. I highly recommend it. I'm actually going to do a reaction series the way I did to One Piece for Season 2, and I'll probably rewatch one the same way. So I'm excited for that. So that's November, right?
Starting point is 00:23:20 I don't... Let's see. I don't know if we actually got a date for it. I think they said November. Pretty sure they said November. I'd be happy for you if that's the case. Yeah. Brett, do you have the most anticipated?
Starting point is 00:23:30 that before Rocks gets into her list I can cover? I honestly don't know if any of the shows I'm anticipating come out this year. Like, is Last of Us coming back? That's next year. Oh, fuck. But there are a couple that, so a lot of them don't have dates. The strike did obviously push a lot of things
Starting point is 00:23:47 back, and so a lot of them don't have dates, but something like Severance is supposed to drop this year, so things like that would get you excited. So in terms of returning shows... I'm sure you're going to hit my number one. Is it House of the Dragon Season 2? House of the Dragon Season two supposed to come out on Max this year.
Starting point is 00:24:03 They weren't affected by the strike. They were able to film on through. We've been waiting a minute for this. There's a teaser trailer for it. Yeah. Yeah. This is exciting. I mean,
Starting point is 00:24:13 I'm super with you. I know that the pilot episode wasn't necessarily for me, but then the season hit the ground running, and it was just one of the best shows of 2022. I love that. It was my number one of that year, and I think right off of, and then Andor was like number two.
Starting point is 00:24:25 So that's like, that's my number one. I'm speaking of Star Wars, very curious about the acolyte. Are you more excited about that than skeleton crew? Yes. So John Watts did the first episode, I think he's producer on The Old Man, which I loved. I don't know if that's coming back on season two or not anytime soon. But I was very curious to hear what he's going to do with this show because when we went to
Starting point is 00:24:51 celebration, we actually had the opportunity. We saw him outside of a hotel that we were staying at. and me, Steph, and Mike, when I'm going to start talking to him, and he said that even though it's stars kids, it's got that feeling of like the Clone Wars could get dark sometimes, and it has like that stranger things, Goonies feel too.
Starting point is 00:25:11 So he said, look out for that. And so that, and because of Jude Law, and Bryce Dallas Howard's directing, so I'm very, very curious and excited about that one, but I think Star Wars needs that push into something outside of that time period. And with the amount of Jedi that they have
Starting point is 00:25:27 and you see them at the height of the High Republic and the rumor of Canna Reeves in that series like there's a rumor I don't know how true it is
Starting point is 00:25:36 but the rumor is that it costs like $200 million to make and it's real locations it's not the it's not the volume and and because of the apparently Leslie Headland
Starting point is 00:25:47 is very much into the lore of Star Wars so that one to me is definitely on my list let's stay in Camp Disney for a second how are you guys feeling
Starting point is 00:25:56 about and Agatha Dark Hole Diaries. That's the previously, what was it? Agatha explains it all. Whatever it was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Agatha all along. So I said this. I don't know who was talking to about this. I think Catherine Hahn is, I think she's incredible. Oh, yeah. She's incredible.
Starting point is 00:26:13 And I'm just not that interested in that show. Way more interested in Echo, which is coming this week. Now, what's funny about that is Echo I couldn't have given two shits about until I saw that trailer.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Mm-hmm. And when I saw that trailer, I went, wait a minute. Are they actually going to play this Netflix daredevil feel with this show? And is that kingpin? That seems like kingpin to me. What I'm hesitant about with that show are a couple different things. But the first thing I'm hesitant about is that they're dropping it all. First of all comes out in January.
Starting point is 00:26:50 It's not always a kiss of death, more so in movies. Dropping it in January, dropping it all on Disney Plus. the same day. That never happens for these Marvel shows. That makes me go, okay, let's just get it. They talk about it now. Maybe they don't talk about it later. And the other thing is that the embargo drops.
Starting point is 00:27:08 You came to the social media embargo drops. They didn't give you a date when it drops. And they're sending you the screeners two days before. And you usually send about two weeks before. So, you know, the word flag. They don't seem to have that much faith in it. You think? Yeah, well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:24 There was a rumor that it was going to be canceled at one point. We do have Daredevil Born again coming. That's obviously... That's not this year. No, it's supposed to be in 2024. No world is that coming out in 2016. You think because of the strike it's going to get pushed? They didn't start filming it yet.
Starting point is 00:27:38 They pushed it back. They had pushed that back a while ago. Yeah, probably. The top of 2025, you think? Maybe, yeah. There's no world that comes out in 2024. I can't imagine. Yeah, I see what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:27:49 But maybe. Maybe. I don't know if they've officially moved it yet, but that definitely would make sense to me. I think that they moved there because I also think that, Whether it's, yeah, I don't know if that comes out. I think that the only ones that they announced for this month, well, this year were Echo and Agatha.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Those are the two that are coming out this year. When previously, okay. Staying with, again, with nerd stuff, this might be of interest to you guys. I obviously don't, I'm not much of a gamer, but the gamers I know this is number one on their list right now. They're hoping it's like the last of us is Fallout. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, that's coming. on April 12th. Jonathan Nolan who produced Westworld is going to be producing this as well. Nolan's brother, right? Yeah. But he has his own? He does. Yeah. I think I've actually met him before. He's tired of being known as Christopher Nolan's brother.
Starting point is 00:28:40 He made Westworld. Yeah. I'm speaking for him. This seems like it does have the potential to be one of the biggest shows of this year. Do you guys play Fall Out? No, but I know tons of people who did and tons of people who absolutely love it and are excited about it. So I mean, it was one of the, I had
Starting point is 00:28:59 all the things that I've said, how can we didn't do a trailer reaction to that? That's the number one. Really? Yeah. Yeah, it just wasn't around when it came out. I don't, I don't, I don't do trailer reactions like, you know, hours or two or five hours or a day later. If I don't catch it when
Starting point is 00:29:15 it comes out, I'm going to get buried by real rejects and other people too, so I don't do it. I've seen my son play it and I'm excited because it's one that he'll watch with me. That's, that's, I'm always stoked about that. Actually, a friend of mine was telling about this last weekend. So, yeah, it's a cool look of a game.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I can't wait to see what they do with the show. You mentioned your One Piece reactions. Another one of the most anticipated shows, especially amongst us nerds of this year is Avatar Last Airbender, which is coming to Netflix, February 22nd. Yeah, the reason why I'm really looking forward to that is because I remember when that shit piece came out
Starting point is 00:29:50 that Shama on did about... That's a nice way of describing it. Sorry, fart piece? What did Shaman do? He did the last Airbender. Oh, the shippiece of the movie? The movie. When that movie came out, everybody, when people, I remember.
Starting point is 00:30:03 I didn't watch it. When it was coming out, Ellis and I saw it. You did see it. We saw it in the theory. Yeah, we did a review to it. Is this one of the ones you said you almost walked out on? Yeah, I think so. We took my buddy Steve Simone with us too, and his line is still so good.
Starting point is 00:30:18 He was in the review. He said, I saw this guy next to me sleeping, and I was jealous. That is the meanest thing you could possibly say about a movie. But it's a bad movie. And I remember people saying because we were talking about Star Wars beforehand, people are like, oh, if they do this right, you're going to love it. It's going to be right up your alley. And the lore itself is really great.
Starting point is 00:30:39 And they're such a hardcore fan base. I mean, Dave Faloni worked on the last Avatar for years. There is such an element to Star Wars and such an element of what I love about fantasy and all these different things in this movie or show. that if they do this right, I think this could really be up my alley, for sure. Okay, being nerdy still, Penguin, the Penguin. Oh, my God, this is the... This is going to be James Guns, you know, this is going to be, I think,
Starting point is 00:31:09 what people really start to judge the James Gun era off of. This is the kickoff of what he's going to be doing for TV, even though it's coming from a character that he was... Not connected to... Prior to his year. Right. This is totally... his official era beginning with this show.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Is it, though? Because he didn't cancel it, and he is, like, ushering this in. Sure. I think so. Obviously, he has nothing to do with Colin Farrell being cast in it. But, like, I don't know. But it's not DCU. No, but he's, he's managing it.
Starting point is 00:31:41 It tells worlds, for sure. And that's part of his thing. No, am I like, is this, does everything hinge on this show? No, and it doesn't come out until the fall. But I'm excited for this. I loved the character. I'm curious what they do. I think that James Gunn got involved quick enough that probably his footprint will be on this a little bit.
Starting point is 00:31:58 And it also has a girl from how I met your father in Palm Springs, Christina Milliotti. I don't know how to say it. And I think she's really talented too. So this is for the DC nerds out there. Definitely the number one to look out for this year. Okay. A couple of things that they're not as nerdy, but I'm just super excited for. Did you guys give a shit about Mr. and Mrs. Smith?
Starting point is 00:32:20 I mean, who is this Donald Glover? Right, okay. And Maya Erskine, who from Penn 15, which if you didn't watch is one of the best TV shows of the last decade. To play on penis, right? Yeah. I get it. Because if you take the one and the five, it's like an I and an S. This is on Amazon this February 2nd.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I think that Donald Glover is one of the best artists of our generation. And I'm excited to see this only because of the cast. Like I don't really care about Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but it seems like it'll be fun. I think initially this was supposed to be Phoebe Waller Bridge. and they recast her. We'll see how this one goes. One that people are talking about mostly because of Nicole Kidman.
Starting point is 00:33:00 It got picked up in 2018, so people have had a long time to look into this one is expats, which is going to be on Amazon, January 26th. So I'm just patting the top of the year. That's patriots. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Yeah, Brett, tell us. It's people that used to be patriots, and then they're not anymore. And they gave it up. Yeah, they gave it up. And they're like, you know what? I don't want to be patriots. Yeah, I don't want to.
Starting point is 00:33:22 They don't, I mean, football fans. Football fans. Right. It is that exactly, starring Nicole Kidman. And it's a look at personal and professional lives of a tight-knit group of ex-patriots living in Hong Kong. It's only because it was picked up in 2018 and people have this absolute obsession with Nicole Kidman. Rightfully so, she's very talented. And because I think this is so early in the year and there is that hole from the strike that people are so excited for a real prestige drama to come on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:33:50 on that's why they're stoked about this. Probably why they're stoked about this next one, too. Masters of the Air. Have you guys heard about this? It's going to be on Apple. This is Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks producing it. It's a follow-up to Band of Brothers. So just for the production company alone and the people behind this.
Starting point is 00:34:05 This is Austin Butler, right? Exactly. Yeah. And people are, this is, I think Apple is making the best TV that there is right now. And this is going to be one of their biggest shows of the year. I want to talk about that one because that is definitely, I would say that is on my list for sure. because you love Austin Butler. I like Austin Butler a lot, but I love Band of Brothers.
Starting point is 00:34:25 I was actually just talking to my brother about this. I think that Band of Brothers is quite possibly the best mini series of all time. You're not alone in that thought. It does make a lot of people's top-top list. I haven't seen it in its entirety, which is crazy. It took what Savin Private Ryan did and then just took it to the moon. It was so, so good and great performances. This is January 26th.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Oh, that's coming up. It's right around the corner. Yeah, it takes place during World War II. Again, it's an Apple show, so we know that they just absolutely are annihilating it right now. Is that week to week? I think that they usually drop things to, and then they go week to week. But I'm not actually sure what they're doing this one. Apple tends to change their mind about some of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Interior, Chinatown, the only reason I'm mentioning this one is because it's, It's a Taika Watiti show, and if you love Taika Watiti and you love all the things that he works on, then I feel like you religiously follow what we do in the shadows and the pirate show that I watched this year. What the hell is this pirate show? And Reservation Dogs, he's killing the TV era right now. It's a crime drama that sounds like a show within a show, so they're kind of pitching it like a jury duty, which I think is super up Taika's alley to do a show like that that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not an easy trick to pull off.
Starting point is 00:35:51 It's not. We'll see how they do with it. Feud. Okay, so Feud is finally coming back. You know Feud? Do you remember when feud came out? This is the Ryan Murphy show. He does these series.
Starting point is 00:36:03 He did Joan Crawford versus Betty a while ago. So this is Capote v. The Swans, which is also coming this month, January 31st. It's with Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Callista Flockhart, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Tom Hollander. Tom Hollander.
Starting point is 00:36:19 Yeah, the feud brand. So if you are a Ryan Murphy stand, this is FX. It will be on Hulu. What's this called officially? Feud Capote versus the swans. Okay, okay. So far out of the ones that you've hit. You care about any of these?
Starting point is 00:36:34 Yeah. Yeah, so Arcane for sure, which we talked about, House of the Dragon. Penguin. Yeah, Penguins. Masters of the Air. Master's of the Air. Fallout. Those are all ones that I'm pretty curious about.
Starting point is 00:36:45 You're going to care about a lot of these coming up, though. Okay. The three body problem. is on every TV person like me, the people who are waiting for the TV three body problem is the show because this is Benny Off and Weiss's show.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So this is going to be Netflix. You know, they have their deal with Netflix now. This is coming March 21st. It is... What is it? It is based on a book, I believe, which they do pretty well when they're doing based on source material.
Starting point is 00:37:15 And it's a series that portrays a fictional past, present, and future where an Earth encounters an alien civilization from a nearby system of three sun-like stars orbiting. I don't know much other than Beniof and Weiss. This is their launch of their Netflix relationship. It's based on source material. This is supposed to be the beast's needs.
Starting point is 00:37:39 This is supposed to be awesome. Yeah, this is the one that everybody is talking about. What about True Detective? Yeah, that's obviously on the list. Okay, take it easy. True Detective, Night Country. that's coming in two weeks. Is it really?
Starting point is 00:37:51 January 14th on Max. This is Jody Foster this season. We're now in Alaska. Why aren't you so smug about this one? I'm not smug at all. I'm very excited about this one. I love the Trudey's. Do you love the Trude of Attic franchise or do you love the season one and season three?
Starting point is 00:38:08 And maybe just season one. I didn't mind too as much as everyone else did. So we'll see how this does with the fans. Yes, because I do, and that Jody Foster performance in Nyad, I think, is being overlooked. guys, I thought she was really good in that movie. I have never heard of that until you just said that right now. Netflix. Oh my God, you love nights. Do you really? I have no idea what you're talking about. Spell it.
Starting point is 00:38:28 NYU. No, I haven't even seen that. You would love this movie. You need to watch this movie. That's kind of nerve-wracking that I don't know what you're talking about. It's about Annette Benning and Jody Foster and Annette Benning was the, it's a true story. The Olympic swimer that wanted to take the swim from Cuba to Florida and and tried it a bunch of different times and tried it when she was younger and then did it and then tried it
Starting point is 00:38:53 a bunch of different times when she was 60. Oh yeah. It's awesome. It's really good. Let me do another one that you guys are going to be excited about. Dune Prophecy. You guys know anything about that. That's this year?
Starting point is 00:39:07 It's supposed to be. I have a friend of mine who writes on that show. Really? One of the main writers on it. Yeah, right now they have said that it's supposed to be late 2024. Again, will things get pushed back? but as of now, they're saying fall
Starting point is 00:39:20 2024. That's max, obviously. So, yeah, that would be max. I mean, look, if that show actually does come out this year, off the back of what will be a pretty successful Dune 2, put that on my list also. Yeah, okay. Because that's like a prequel. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:37 10,000 years beforehand. Jeez, that's a long time. That's like more than 100. Yeah, it is. Okay, you guys aren't going to give a shit about this one, but I care so much about this one. No. Ted. The Ted show is coming out. It's coming on Peacock.
Starting point is 00:39:52 You're going to be mad at me now. Now you're really going to be mad at me. You don't like Ted. No, I do. But you're going to be mad at me about to tell you. Go ahead, finish right. No, just tell me. I got invited to the premiere of this thing. And they said I could bring a guest. And it was a party and everything. I didn't go. I just couldn't do it. Why did you do that to me? I didn't realize how much you wanted to see it. I probably would have taken it.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Yeah, because Christian, just as how long you've known me for it, you wouldn't think I would like. Ted? I don't know. But I just, you know, I was worried that it was going to get repetitive. But it's a peacock, right? Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's going to get repetitive.
Starting point is 00:40:26 I think it's going to be great. I hope so. I hope so, too. Yeah. There is a show coming to, that's coming to Paramount Plus, which is called Firetrucks. Yeah. It's not a show. I usually don't reference too many things on Paramount Plus, but this is Taylor Sheridan's show.
Starting point is 00:40:40 So I always talk about him. It's called Landman. Set in the proverbial boomtown to the West Texas, Landman is modern-day. of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. He kind of has my respect at this point enough to check out anything he does. I love the Sylvester Stallone show that he did. I've loved everything from 1923 to Yellowstone. Did you finish 1923?
Starting point is 00:41:02 Yes. 1886. 1883, I thought it was. 18, whatever, I finished all three of them. Because you hadn't finished it last time we told. Okay. But this must have been a long time ago, and I don't remember how it ended. I love the...
Starting point is 00:41:16 I know you love the 19... 1923 is my second favorite, the 1883 or 1887, whatever year it is. It is confusing that he does me. Loved. I think I finished it. What was the ending? Don't tell me. Oh, I don't want to tell people the ending.
Starting point is 00:41:30 I think I did. You should watch that show. All right. The 1870 or 30. I'm going to say it's 1880. Let's go over some things that are returning. Yeah, I don't know. All right.
Starting point is 00:41:41 You guys want to hear some returning shows that you can be excited about. Bridgeton, season three, they're dropping this in two different parts. Don't you watch Bridgetton? No. I thought this was a thing that you watched with your wife to get her in the mood. No, this was one that I was like, I can't. No, that's a Pirates one. No, the Pirates one.
Starting point is 00:41:59 The Pirates one. The Pirates are not Pirates. Sinbad or something. No, it's Vikings. It was Kazam. No. Vikings, Vikings. It was Vikings.
Starting point is 00:42:09 This is May and June. Netflix is doing this a lot recently. Bridgette. But it's first part, May 16th, second part, June 13th. So they've been doing that all the time recently. They just did it with the Crown. When does Outlander come back? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:42:22 I don't care about that show because I never watched it, but that's the show that you guys watch with your eyes. I don't watch it, but I... But you know when she does. Oh, yeah. No, no. But I am, as I am obsessed with like, you know, whether it's Last of Us, that's my wife with this show.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Okay. My wife is obsessed with Outlander. There is going to be Wednesday season two. Oh, that's this year. That's exciting for... Yeah. Exactly. stoked for this one. You season five, which is not you guys, but this is a show that just
Starting point is 00:42:52 took on such a life of its own coming from Lifetime. Last season, right? Netflix, yes. How does this end? It's like we are so rooting against our main character. I've never gone into a series finale rooting against the main character. You want them to get killed or whatever. I really do. I really do. You know, it's not like Dexter, where by the end you kind of are, like, you feel, you understand where he's coming from kind of, but still realize it. Yeah, this is a true sociopath, so they, They got a handle with care. Abbott Elementary is coming back for season three on February 7th. I think that this is the best workplace comedy.
Starting point is 00:43:23 This is the only show that I'm watching on network TV. This is just, it gives me the best laughs. I think I've got to give that show a shot because I watched two episodes. Yeah, no, you didn't love it. Didn't get me in this. It is, to me,
Starting point is 00:43:36 it is the closest that we have to Parks and Rec, the office, 30 Rock. It is very, very funny. There's going to be a season two to Squid Game, not Squid Game. The Game Show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:45 No, there's going to be a season two to squig game the show. I saw it. You would have thought there. I would have. Oh. No, I know. What? I know.
Starting point is 00:43:54 I know. I know. That was during the height of, A, the pandemic, B, knees deep into the schmow down at that point. I wasn't watching a lot of show. The Boy is season four. I know you're stoked for that. I'm stoked for that.
Starting point is 00:44:09 That's on the top. That's on the top. Yeah, absolutely up there. Halo season two. I didn't see season one. I want to catch up before this comes out, comes out February 8th on Paramount. I heard good things about the show.
Starting point is 00:44:19 You didn't like it? I bailed on it. DJ really likes it. I was such a, I was such a Halo fan. I was so excited for the series, and I really liked episode one, the beginning of episode one.
Starting point is 00:44:30 And then they, A, took it into this lone wolf and cubs shit that they do for everything now. And then it was so off of what the game. Last of Us did it right with the game. Yeah. Based it off the game. It was so off of what. what Halo did.
Starting point is 00:44:46 I thought it was like a real disappointment. I hope they'd change it around. Yeah, I didn't really like the second episode at all. Or the end of the first. You pissed you to even brought it up. We're supposed to have another season of severance and another season of Silo. Those are two of my favorite shows on Apple. I need to watch Simo.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Then this show, I'm calling it another season, but it really is its own thing. The Walking Dead, the ones who live. You guys know I sat through 14 seasons of this show. Finally, we're getting Andrew Lincoln back with Michone with Denai Guerrera. So this is a, this is going to be a six-part miniseries set in that world. And him returning? Yes. And this is, well, actually, I believe this is when they were off venturing together for six parts.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Hmm. I think so. Because at first, we knew we were going to do the movies where he returned, but I don't think that that's what this is. But how did it end? It ended. I know that, not with him. I know, I'm saying, I know that helicopter thing. Did he ever come back?
Starting point is 00:45:38 No. He never, so we don't know if he's dead or not. Well, they had announced that they were doing those movies. We know he's not dead because the hell of him. Oh, is that what I... I bailed. This is AMC February 25th. I'm just going to watch it because I love the two of their chemistry, and I am curious.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Support SkyMemot. Yeah, completely, completely. So those are my most anticipated of 2024. A lot of them coming in January, like I said, things like severance, like silo, like a lot of the shows that we saw this year, we don't have release dates for, so it's hard to know what exactly to get excited about when. but these are more solidified ones that are for sure coming. Yeah, if I can't miss any of those, if there's only one that I have to watch
Starting point is 00:46:22 out of all of them. Oh, man. I think I'm going with the House of the Dragon. I think if I'm out of all those, I mean, there's a lot of great ones. And arcane's up there too. Rings of power coming back too. You liked that show, didn't you?
Starting point is 00:46:33 Because I bailed. Yeah, no, they were... I didn't hate it. It was just kind of there. There was a lot of it that had issues. There was some that worked. This stupid Sauron stuff was... So you're not going acolyte.
Starting point is 00:46:45 Acolyte could wind up being one of my most anticipated and most loved if they do it right to one of my most disappointed if they do it wrong. So I'm hesitant. So you're number one. It's a house of the dragon. House of the Dragon. If it's not House of the Dragon, well, I don't know. Severance, I'm like, I kind of could have been one off on severance. I think, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Even with the finale? Yeah, I just think that, I don't know. What are you on? I loved that show. Oh, I love that show. I loved it. I loved it. I didn't like it at first. Yeah, I know. If Severance does drop this year like it's supposed to, because remember, they had issues with the showrunners. One of them left and then came back. But they were starting to film it again, so it should be back this year.
Starting point is 00:47:29 Then that's my number one for sure. Well, that's the thing, though, even when you were talking about, even though Daredevil will not be this year. But even hearing myself say that, the only reason I know that for short, so I remember when we were doing capes and cowls, they had mentioned, like, Marvel had to announce that they only have, like, two. Three things really coming out this year. I did look it up too, and they're saying now expected top of 2025. So, right. But you can do with television outside of like movies, there are movies that are going to film and you're not, with post-production and everything, too, you're looking at two.
Starting point is 00:48:00 You know, you film it this year. You might be able to get it out at the end of next year, really two years, right? Now, with TV, though, because you're filming them all and you're filming, you can edit an episode, still be shooting, still be filming, having people be post, so you can. you could film something in January and get it out at the end of the year if you wanted to. You really could. But I, so when you, what was the last show that you just mentioned? Oh, Severance.
Starting point is 00:48:24 So Severance is I was on the page. I, the first, it took me a while to watch Severance. I know it did. And then I finally did, and I just fell in love with that show. I loved every bit of it. So I'm, that would be on my list as well. I'm probably going to make a top ten anticipated, I think. I'd say of new shows fallout.
Starting point is 00:48:43 I'll fall out. I'm just again, because that's the family. We can all watch it. And then Wednesday for things that are coming back with, you know, watching with the family, even though my daughter watched it by herself last time. Oh, my God. Same one. This seems to be right now in the news about severance.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Apparently a fan said, give us a sign at Ben Stiller. Yeah. And apparently he replied and said, we're working on it. Season one premiered almost two years ago February 2020, which is crazy. production was disrupted. They actually started filming season two in the fall of that year. Production was disrupted by the WGA
Starting point is 00:49:20 WGRA strike in 2023, and updates had been thin on the ground since until still are confirmed that work is still underway yesterday. Okay. Well, they have scripts, though, and they have everything going. So that... It would be crazy that that came out in 2022 and then not again until 2025.
Starting point is 00:49:36 I know. Well, Arcane, that what about shrinking? That's not, that's obviously not this year. I don't know if that's obviously not this year. I mean, when we talked to, remember, we talked to Christ, she was like, now that's a... Well, she was like Bruden Strike. It was right before the strike, yeah. Let's see, Shrinking Season 2 release day, I would not be surprised if that's out this year.
Starting point is 00:49:56 Bringing Season 2 is anticipated to be released on Apple TV Plus by early 2024. Really? That's what it's saying here. No chance. Everything we know so far. I mean, I would be really surprised if they can't get that out this year. What an absolute travesty that Harrison Ford was not nominated for Golden Globe for that role. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:50:18 The Golden Globes, to me, doesn't do, they don't do movies perfectly, but they do TV even worse. Yeah. I think that the Emmys usually tends to do a much better job. Well, yeah, I hope so. It's like the Oscars doing a better job of film. Wow. Yeah, we still don't know. We still don't know a shrinking.
Starting point is 00:50:34 I'm just looking into this. So what's your number one, then, Rock? Severance, if it comes back? If severance does come back, then it. it is Severance. If not? If not, I almost want to say the penguin.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Penguin, pretty damn good too. I'm excited for that one. There hasn't been a D.C. property that I have been obsessed with, and you know that's my jam. You put me on D.C. movie news to start. It became such an obsession for me. And I used to cover every D.C. TV show,
Starting point is 00:51:03 and I haven't watched a D. I fell off of Titans at the end. I've fallen off of Superman and Lois, even though it's still a good show. is that CW feel to it. I'm really, really hoping that the penguin blows me away. So it
Starting point is 00:51:18 might, if I'm like, okay, what show am I not willing to miss? This year, I'm not willing to miss that one. Fair. I can get that. I think for me, it's like, it's going to be oh man, yeah, House of the Dragon, I think the acolyte is, like I said, I will be tuning in the second it drops. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Then the... Still haven't seen Asoka. Yeah, I feel like the accolite's going to be a better show than Assoca. I just can't believe I haven't seen if I was going to watch any of the shows. I feel like that'd be it. The only one I haven't seen. The only live action Star Wars thing I haven't seen. You still haven't watched you yet. You're going to watch it? Yeah for sure. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:50 So Brett, yours, House of the Dragon, Severance. Severance, fallout, and Wednesday. Yeah, and I definitely put, I think I said Arcane, but Arcane for me, it's like, and that's November. So that'll be, that'll be, I'm sure there's other shows, too. I'm really curious about Avatar, The Last Airbender, too. Right, that one, too. There's a lot of great ones. Oh, did you say Squid Game was yes or no?
Starting point is 00:52:09 It was a possibility. Season two. Season two. Yeah, that one I'm interested. I should watch season one. I mean, it left it open. But like, you're this crazy that you haven't seen that. Well, maybe, maybe that's one that I should do watch alongs for because like watching it for the first time.
Starting point is 00:52:25 I know, I know, I'm sure. I think it's Netflix. I don't know this is a fact, so don't call me on it, even though I'm doing this live on. I think it's Netflix's biggest international show ever. It's certainly one of them, if not the best. Yeah, for sure. I remember the records that are both. No, no, the biggest.
Starting point is 00:52:39 I remember the reports on it and how big it was and everybody talked. And if I had a dollar for every time someone said you need to watch the show, I mean, I would be already moved. Has anything been ruined for? I mean, are there? No, I don't know anything about it. I don't think it's going to be your favorite show ever, but I think you're going to like it. I think you're like, oh, that was a good show. I'm sure that it would.
Starting point is 00:53:00 I mean, it seems to me like something that I would enjoy. Maybe that will be one that I watch because I haven't, I've never seen it before. So maybe I'll do series on it. The game show was really excellent, too. I have to say. As much as I'm watching it, I'm like, this is a problem that our society turned this into this. I was like, this is so effing entertaining. The only thing I've heard about the game show is that like there's some behind the scene stuff that you don't really, like when they're playing certain games that like they had to stand there for longer than you thought.
Starting point is 00:53:27 If you know what I'm talking about. Yeah. So they do the red light green light game in this, which Christian, because you don't know, is a game in which you basically is a school yard game. You have to get from point A to point B. But there's this head turning. and if it sees you and you're moving and you don't freeze when it turns, you get eliminated, okay?
Starting point is 00:53:42 So we're watching it. It's about 10 minutes of an episode, right? But the cast said that they were shooting that, that you would have to freeze for sometimes 45 minutes. Yeah, that's insane. And so, like, they would be, and they would have to freeze, and it was freezing outside. They said it took 14 hours to get across.
Starting point is 00:53:58 We're watching it. You think it takes 10 minutes. So things like that, but also that the woman who won, the person who won. Oh, man, person. You actually should cut that out. people will kill me. Here we'll say this again.
Starting point is 00:54:11 The person who won Squid Game apparently has not been paid yet. So they win $4.56 million. Apparently they haven't been paid. Wow. Well, we'll see. That would be crazy controversial. I mean, first of all, let me ask the audience. Do you give a shit?
Starting point is 00:54:28 Like, if I haven't seen it, should you, should I watch the Squid game, would you check it out? If I did those, would you care? Yes. They won't answer you right now. just so, you know, yeah, they can't. Because we have an area. Yeah, it's not,
Starting point is 00:54:41 this isn't a live show. Wait for the answer. Don't say anything else. Can we talk about how Meh Rebel Moon was, or have you already gone over that? Did you watch it? I watched 91% of it. I need to finish it.
Starting point is 00:54:56 I didn't see it. I didn't see that. I didn't see Aquaman. Yeah, well, here's the thing. Oh, I did see the Sydney movie and it was awesome. Which one? Anyone but you? Glenn Powell's in his way.
Starting point is 00:55:06 It's so funny because I saw your tweet. And I saw it and I was like, I wonder if this is going to be one of those movies. Because I hadn't seen anything on Rotten Tomatoes. I didn't see anything. Yeah. So I said, I wonder if this is one to be one of those things where everybody hates it and Roxy loves it. Is that what happened? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Oh. It is fire. It's got like 35%. Oh my gosh. Christian, it's so good. So good. And you watch Dave. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Gata's in it. Okay. And he's hysterical. Sidney, Dope. Glenn Powell, who we love from. Top Gun. Yes. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:55:37 them. The cast is great. It's such a good rom-com. What a great date night. I was dying laughing out loud. I'm glad you brought it up because the point I wanted to make was I have bad taste. No, but I looked at the movie has made like $25 million or something. And it cost $25? It costs $25. It's going to be a little less than
Starting point is 00:55:55 25. And I, because my point to you was going to be like, well, the problem is like I said, streaming movie. You know, it's like, and it's kind of, I don't know if it's going to continue to make money at all, but it's, it, it, it, It might or might not. Maybe break even.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Maybe break even. If this had come out during Valentine's Day, I think it would have annihilated. Annihilated is a strong word. I think it would have made 40. Probably it would have done better. Well, it probably would have done better. It's so good. Please go see it.
Starting point is 00:56:25 It's so good. I'll see it when it's on streaming. I wasn't talking to you. But you looked at me and said, please go see it. No, I said, you didn't see my arrow. I said, please don't go see it. Please don't go see it. No, I said, please go see it.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Please. What did you do? Please go see it. Please. I didn't look at you. And she was looking at the audience. Yeah, you're looking at the audience. Please go.
Starting point is 00:56:43 I don't think that's true. All right, what do you guys think? The most important question is, was Roxy looking at you? Was she looking at me? Who is she looking at? So hell yeah, to both of you guys. But I don't think we have an intention to replace her. You never know what ends up happening. Down the line. Yeah, but right now. She said the body's still warm. It really is. While we were sitting here, Doreena sent the cutest text to us.
Starting point is 00:57:43 She was like, good luck with World Girls 2.0 tonight, love you guys. It's like, man, wouldn't it be easier if I hated her? Yeah, of course. It sucks when somebody leaves well. On good terms. That being said, bye. Got to leave you. But glad that you joined us today.
