Oh man, so much to talk about, so much to chat about.
Steven Soderberg coming in to help his friend, Matt Reeves, out for the Batman 2.
Matt Reeves makes a statement about that.
We're going to talk about some of the Netflix stuff.
There's a, there's going to be CCO change there.
Some Sony news, DC news, a lot of other stuff to discuss here today on the show with myself and Winston A. Marshall on the Friday.
episode of the Christian Harlov Show.
Thanks for being here today.
Let's get into it.
Here we go.
Did you shit in there?
Welcome back, everybody.
It is the Christian Harlov show here today.
Joining me on the show on this Friday.
Winston A. Marshall is here.
Winston, how are you, man?
What's going on?
I'm good, man.
I am gassed.
What happened?
Well, I think I said it on this show already, but I booked a new.
Oh, no, we didn't.
to have a show last Friday. I built a new,
a new feature. And we started
shooting yesterday. Yeah, it's been great
so far. It's a supporting
lead for this thing. So, you know,
I essentially ended up happening
when I got it is I had to
kind of like drop
everything and start mushing my
schedule together like a kid trying to play with his
G.I. Joe's and his Transformers because
like in order to make it
happen since they came to me so last minute,
um,
I already had a bunch of stuff
scheduled out. Like we do this every Friday
of the other podcast I do. I've got my day job
stuff. So all of a sudden it was like, okay,
these are the days we would need you. And it became
a, oh, all right, great.
So now I was, that was going to be spaced out over
five days. All that shit's happening in
two days. And then like, like
yesterday I was on set for
10 hours and had to race to
the House of Blues. And then today, as soon as we wrap, I got to go over there
and I'll be there until midnight tonight. Again, these are happy
problems. But it is one of those things where all
of a sudden you're like, oh, I live off of caffeine.
and dreams.
Busy, busy, busy, busy.
From, as we're getting to the holiday season,
if you watch the Frosty the Snowman cartoon,
you know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, a lot of stuff to chat about today.
Yesterday I went and saw, what was I doing yesterday?
Was that yesterday?
Oh, so release schedule for the channel,
we have Justice League part two coming out today
after we, Winston and I wrap up with me and Sam.
Then we start our X-Men journey on two.
I made a decision on how I'm going to do it.
People can complain about it or not.
I don't give, I don't give a shit.
It's the way we're going to do it.
Same way we did Star Wars.
But we're doing X-Men First Class as the first movie we're going to watch, right?
Then on Friday, then we start with release order with X-Men 2000 from there.
But we're going to start with X-Men First Class.
And we've already watched, I can tell you, we've already watched First Class and 2000.
and she's uh she's already like she's she's an x-man head over two out of two movies already
okay loves it she loves it so we're excited to put those up on the channel but
i had a busy week man because we did um friday was godzilla
and monday tuesday was whale fall thursday was street fighter um yeah i'm
i don't know if you will but uh oh really it not the best i i you know i did only
stupid answers yesterday with with with with DJ and
Roxy and I didn't love it. They hated it.
Roxy never hates anything. Roxie hated it.
That's wild because the people that I had talked to,
they were like, no, that shit, it was fun.
Like they just, they leaned into the 90s camp of what that movie was and is what I've been
told.
That's not the problem that I had with it.
The problem that I have with it is it's the jokes are really bad and not funny.
And, and I thought the street fighter was about a tournament.
That's what I always thought it was about.
not did they not it's i mean there's a tournament in it but it's not really about what the movie's
about um but it's currently right now i'm looking i want to see what it has on rotten tomatoes
i think it'll definitely be one of those where the the audience score significantly higher
than like right now it's sitting at 45 by critics oh i mean that but that's you by audience
40 yeah right that that makes that makes a lot of sense that makes it this is more of an audience
movie and then it is a critics movie or 100%.
But I just, I wanted to, I went in with a big smile on my face, hoping to love it.
And I just, I just didn't.
But anyway, I saw that movie.
And then yesterday we were shooting in face.
So, Pieldy writes me.
He does this all the time.
And he goes, Soderberg, huh?
I'm like, yeah, I heard of him.
It's a good director.
He's like, ah, Sottenberg.
And I'm like, yeah, okay.
And then I think the great, the text exchange was, was the following, which was hilarious.
I said, because I was cracking up.
I was reading it.
I wanted to make sure I put off,
you know, sometimes you got to put a ha ha in there
because if you don't,
it sounds like you're just being a dick.
So,
so the text I got was Soderberg.
Interesting.
I wrote, huh?
He goes, great gesture.
Fascinated to see how it works.
To which I said, I don't know what the hell you're talking.
But followed with ha ha.
And then he told me what was happening.
I'm like, I'm like, you know,
just because I do this all the time,
means like I'm not constantly getting AI
updated in my head with all the stories
and I'm like and I'm on
and I'm on so I was like react
you know reacting to something
Sodomberg
interesting
I
it's funny because
depend yourself
to be fair like when you said
huh I thought you were going like
huh like it was like that was your response
like huh like you knew about it
and I'm like oh oh interesting kind of
that's what I read I don't know if anyone else
would have read it that way but
That's how your brain works.
I appreciate it.
Yeah.
It was hilarious.
So it was actually really good to see.
PLD came into town for the stand-up show.
It was nice to see him.
And Mark, he sat down where we did the, we did the show.
And it was actually, and we all enjoyed tallios after.
Well, I had text you earlier, man.
Yeah.
You got to send me a video of it.
I will.
I will.
I'm so, I'm always curious about your sets because like you, you like most comedians.
And most people do this.
You have like typically like a solid one.
or two that you kind of anchor yourself in and then everything else is different outside of that.
Yeah.
Curious what I switched off from what I used before. Sure, sure. Let me see. Let me see if I have.
I'm going to see if I had the, I thought I had it, but I had some of, I'll send it to you.
I'll send it you during the break.
Real quick, did you see a screening? You listed off all those movies and I, maybe I just missed it,
but did you see, you can see everything? No, I hear it's great though.
That's, that's the thing. I heard it's fantastic.
And like when you mentioned Rot Tomatoes, I opened it real quick.
I'm seeing that 100% from critics and 99% from the audience, bro.
Like people are out here like, this might be my movie of the year type shit.
Yeah, people, people, it's supposed to be phenomenal.
So I, you know, I shouldn't say that I'm not an Ethan Fielder fan.
I just never really went out of my way to watch anything in his.
Sure.
But I love the rehearsal, I believe, honestly.
Yeah, you know, the only thing I ever saw from him that I have to say I loved was where he was doing a job interview,
but there was like an eight-year-old kid telling him what to say in the answers.
I don't know if I've seen that one.
It was hilarious.
It was really hilarious.
Like whatever the question was that the,
I think one of the questions that the woman asked him,
the eight-year-old had to answer it and he said something.
And the ear goes, I'm uncomfortable.
Can we not do this?
And then he goes, I'm uncomfortable.
Can we not do this?
It's really good.
He really sells the bit, bro.
like that's probably why people love the rehearsal so much.
I really love the first season.
I like the second season a lot.
Not as much as other folks, but like he just fully is like, yeah, I'm just going to do the thing.
I don't give a shit and I'm going to not break character.
I'm just, which is why I, that trailer for this movie, I was like, this is going to be a dumpster fire because he looks uncomfortable.
I haven't even been.
I've seen obviously the viral kind of little snippets, but I haven't watched the trailer.
How would I lie to you?
Yeah, that I saw.
But I have the whole thing.
But anyway, jumping back to what PLD was blindly texting me about with Soderberg.
Then I caught up on the news, and it obviously was the biggest news of the day yesterday.
It's a massive story for a lot of different reasons.
And let's see.
Let's get to said story here in just the moment.
Because the Batman part two has just been going.
through a lot of different things, right?
It was supposed to come out a long time ago.
And Matt Reeves obviously is having,
the recent news was that there's just some stuff going on with Matt Reeves
and he is just not able to do the movie.
So then the question was, well, who are they,
what are they going to do with it?
Are they going to put it on the back burner?
They're going to stop shooting.
What happens?
Well, Stephen Soderberg is going to help finish the Batman 2 filming
after Matt Reeves stepped away for Family Matters.
Steven Soderberg is stepping in to help complete the Batman Part 2 while director Matt Reeves on a hiatus dealing with a personal matter.
Variety has confirmed as Matt Reeves continues to attend on an ongoing family matter.
Steven Soderberg as an admirer of Matt's work approached Matt and will step in with the full support of DC studios to help the writer-director complete the final weeks of principal photography on the Batman Part 2.
Matt and Stephen will work closely together with the actors and crew to fulfill Matt's vision of the film.
Soderberg said in his own statement,
I thought Reeves' work on the Batman was stunning.
It was intentional, specific, and rigorously coherent.
The goal here is to work with Matt and his team to generate footage that will integrate seamlessly with what's already been shot, so Matt can properly finish his film.
Reeves clarified on X that he will still be working on the production, just not on the set while principal photography wraps up.
He just says it here, just to be clear, I'm not leaving the Batman Part 2.
I'm profoundly grateful to this Stephen for coming to my aide during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography.
free. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes.
Warner Brothers in DC announced the Batman Part 2 production pause in early October,
seeing that Reeves temporarily stepped away from the projects and to handle a family matter.
Production on the Batman Part 2 has been temporarily paused while Matt Reeves focused on a family matter.
Rep said is the full support of DC Studios and we look forward to continuing the journey soon.
Soderberg known for traffic Aaron Brockovich, sex lies and videotape, Oceans 11.
His most recent releases are the Christopher's BlackBassie's Blackback
presence and the last interview.
Okay. The highly anticipated Batman sequel has experienced several delays
since was announced to Comic Con 2022. The original release date was set for
October 2nd, 26, before Warren Brothers delayed it to October 1st,
27. In June, the film was pushed again to February,
2008. Reves' first Batman was released in March of 2022. That's crazy.
It would have been almost like six years of a sequel.
Patinson returns as a Cape Cresader in the Batman Part 2.
and yada yada yon.
So this is to me,
and like the story of Matt Reeves leaving in the first place for family matters is obviously concerning.
Your heartbreaks for him and whatever else is going on.
And if we find out whatever, if we don't, just as good, it's not for us.
It's for him to know.
And that's fine.
But whatever, it went from that story to this to me is a, as,
Pildian said in his vague text, a good gesture. I mean, it, it, it is. It's, it's one of these things where this is not, this is not. And I think people would probably immediately say, Jott Sweden, uh, Zach Snarrel over again. This is the farthest thing from that. This is the farthest thing from that because he is not being pushed out. He is not being shut down. He is being assisted and helped by people who want to help him bring forward. That's the other thing. And then not taking a movie that was,
clearly a vision and changing it to something completely different.
This is going to be,
Stephen Soderberg is the kind of director.
He's that good that if he wanted to make it look like a Steven Soderberg movie,
he would and could,
but he won't.
He will make it look like a Matt Reeves movie.
He is beloved by the cast and crews and things that he works for and with.
I think this is a,
I think this shows a testament to,
his character. I think it shows a testament to their friendship. I think this is
something that is good for the film business in general to show this kind of
selfishness as well to to help out a friend to do this. And it's also a job,
I'm sure that Warner Brothers will be taking care of him, but I'm sure it's not,
or break the bank thing. I don't think Soberberg would do that. But I think this is,
I think this is a good story, especially with Matt Reeves coming out going, no, I'm still
working on and I just can't work on. I just can't be on set. Yeah, it's one of those
situations where I wouldn't categorize it that it is completely the opposite because there are too
many things that are similar, but that doesn't. Just because the start of the story feels the same
does not mean that you end up with the same destination, you know, at the end of the journey. So
there are a lot of similarities. Right. A movie that was delayed at the beginning of like a universe
or like, where is this universe going? And then the director that's really helming behind this has
a horrible family emergency go on that they have to fully leave in the studio's like we need to finish
but i'm going to wait for you and so then you bring somebody else in but you are right the big differences
here are stephen and matt working closely together versus Zach is fully gone and joss is doing
whatever he wants like you said that that's Stephen has the respect of the casting crew versus joss
we started to hear all the stuff that came out after the facts and everything and how people
weren't rocking with him like that so you are right there are definitely differences that should in
theory make this different, but I am not surprised by anybody that hears this that feels like
they're in the matrix and all of a sudden deja vu just happened and you're like, oh, oh, here come
the agents.
Like, the worry that there is some sort of, that this might further derail this movie that, like
you said, and then the, you know, the article has been delayed so many times that people
have really wanted this and they've wanted to continue.
Yeah, I think that's why it's so important that Matt Reeves tweeted something out, right?
And I think that it's a matter of him good because if he was signing.
on it and you didn't hear anything about it.
People will be like, well, what's Matt Reeves saying about it?
Are they just saying that?
Because then it goes more into what you were just saying, right?
Then if Matt Reeves doesn't speak up and doesn't say anything and there's no statement by him,
then it's like, well, wait a minute.
Are they just doing this because they need to finish their movie?
Is it going to be, do they want to change it up completely?
Are they going to do different things?
But it's like, no, no, no.
This is clearly to help the movie get made in Matt's vision.
And here's Matt to say, this is a friend who's coming to my aid at this point when I
need it and I'm not stepping off the project. He's basically taken someone that he trusts and in a
fantastic director to say, hey, I was thinking about maybe like I'd like to do it this way and if we
can do it this way. He's he's going to be working to it's almost like it reminds me a little bit of
what was it AI when the movie AI artificial television with Spielberg and Spielberg and Kubrick.
So you know, Kubrick had I think Kubrick died right right right.
around the same time, I think so.
And so half the movie, I think, was directed by Kubrick,
and half of it was directed by Spielberg.
And you definitely feel the Spielberg aspect in there,
but he tried to also make it blend together
that it also felt like a Kubrick movie.
Now, this is a very, you know, this isn't this,
Matt Reeves, I don't know what's going on with Matt Reeves,
but he's still with us.
This is not the same thing.
Right.
This is not the same thing.
But it is one of those things that, like, no,
this is getting across the vision that this guy wants and he values that this is this is not a replacement
situation even even even even close to that for for sure it's funny it you want to talk about how we
our experiences shape who we are and how we respond to that yeah as a cowboys fan and you
look at a season and you go huh this year's our year wow a lot of things look really similar though
And maybe the record's a little better, but then the result ultimately is the same.
I have faith here that, again, they will actually do what's best for everybody in this scenario and it will work out.
But don't.
My small cynicism has slowly developed cancer in my brain.
Yeah, I get it.
I get it.
I have been promised things, not just with the Cowboys, but life.
And then when you don't have the thing that helps do, it is going to fundamentally change.
I understand that.
I think that that that that that's fair but I have I have I have more faith in it just because like I
see and now I don't know and maybe because it is indeed Soderberg and the things that you hear
from cast that have worked with him and people in general studios that have worked with him.
I mean I don't and maybe I'm wrong and the chat can correct me but I I don't remember bad
stories about Soterberg right and he's a hard worker he like knocks he can knock out movies man and
and but not just like lazily like he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's
He's fantastic.
So you want, if you can get him, and this is one of those things, it's just like,
like I said, it just shows who he is.
So he's like, here's a guy that he's, something's going on with him.
And he probably knows what it is, but he knows something's going on with them.
And I'm going to help him out.
And I like, I loved what he did with that first movie.
I get what he's doing.
I see it.
I understand it.
I'll talk to him about what he sees with this.
And I got it made.
No, the fact that we're getting the Batman part two with a Stephen Soderberg.
assist, I think that does nothing but elevate the movie as well too.
You know, as long as it's still, you still got the version of Matt Reeves,
what Matt Reeves wants to do, and he's the one kind of calling the shots and
call on the plays, if you will.
And Soderberg right now is going to be, he's really going to be,
it's like, if you're putting it in a football term, he's just, right now he'll be the,
if the head coach is calling the plays from home, right?
And so he's the, and he's, he's another head coach.
He's not an assistant coach.
He's another head coach that just happens to be filling in and calling the plays that the head coach wants.
Yeah.
And, and, and, and, and, but to that point, to the best of his ability, because the thing that, the thing is, is like, okay, we may have had these conversations, unless you're telling me that Matt Reed, which we don't know, but that Matt Reeves is going to be on a Zoom the whole time.
He's going to have to still make creative choices.
And that's the only, that's the only thing that there is still going to be.
be the minor's bit of apprehension on top of the fact that now that I remember,
I'm pretty sure that even if that's not what happened,
there was a statement put out with Justice League,
if I remember that Zach thumbed up like Whedon and was like working with him
before he was fully out to like try and whatever.
Obviously it went in a completely different direction.
Yeah, this is this, that's such a different.
That's the studio kind of saying, we want this to be more fun.
And I don't think we were biving with his vision in the first place.
which is fair but the statement that was put out was that this was like okayed by Zach and that this was like the stamp of approval and all that kind of stuff as far like at least when they initially announced Joss going obviously on the back end it was like it just took a hold of direction this wasn't my vision but but I just say all that to say that is just where the apprehension comes like you said I think the difference here with Sotomberg is based off of the reputation that he has with his movies and with collaborating with people and everything else there's less of
of fear, but it doesn't mean the fear's not there.
No, I get it. But I think that the other thing to look into is that
comparing the two situations again, when you bring Josh Whedon
into, to do a Snyder movie,
that's not, the styles couldn't be more different.
The styles are very different. So styles are so different.
And the movie itself is extremely, it's a different movie.
You're trying to do the Avengers style type of movie with humor and stuff
based off, that was not designed for that, right?
Matt Reeves in his own kind of admission, right?
That first movie that they did was, and everyone says,
I felt like Matt Reeves telling of like a David Fincher movie.
And so really Soderberg just has to lock into that vibe.
Now, if he starts going and trying to make, you know,
a Joel Schumacher version of Batman, which he won't,
but if he starts doing that, then you're like, what the hell?
What are you doing?
That's not, that isn't close.
Right.
But it's not.
It's like, okay, so you're going on.
I highly doubt that Whedon and Snyder were having any conversations or like any really solid conversations about what do you see this scene going?
What do you do here?
This, you will have that.
You will continuously have that.
So I think this is a great thing if they want to get this thing out.
And I think that Matt Reeves is making sure that this happens as well.
So I'm curious what people think.
what do you make of this whole situation guys do you uh i mean obviously it's unfortunate
that matt ruse can't finish it but sotemberg coming in for the assist
i think this is a i think this is a good thing i think this is a good thing in general for
if you want to get it done in the fact that reeves is still on board so what do you guys say
put your thoughts in there let us know in the comments and and let us know in the in the clips
channel if you haven't subscribed to that clips channel please do it but
I want to tell you about Cash App.
Tell you about Cash App.
Then we'll be right back
with some other stories.
Check it out.
Yeah, he's doing.
Ah.
Let me ask you, son.
You single?
You single or what?
That's so good.
Ah!
Thank you, Kachap.
I appreciate it for them being here, as always.
What was that?
Oh, come on.
How do you not know that?
I don't know that.
killing me um what is that that is the best john bernthol impression ever here that's why i was confused
i didn't know if that was actually him no watch to be just the beginning of it'll show the beginning
it's so it's so good at first i was like what i was actually paying attention but the voices
spot on it's so it's so good first i was like what what movie your interview was
this it's so good um i i absolutely i love it so much anyway so thank you again to our wonderful
sponsors i got to say you know wince i don't know if you've been paying attention to what's going on
we are we're just about literally seven days away from the end of this campaign damn dude um so
yeah the month has flown by seven days away so just to let everybody kind of know where we are
right now we are currently at two 19 five
We're almost at the 220 range.
I'm hoping by end of day will be closer and closer.
When we hit when we hit 220, like I said, we're going to start,
we're going to put on the, we're going to put on the character descriptions and the backstory for the characters.
And then I'll also let people know as we get to our stretch goal.
We have two like real major stretch goals that we need, we want to do that help both the pilot and the Shmow down out, right?
The 300 stretch goal basically ensures it we'll do a live event after the tournament.
And that will have not only Kevin Smets and Kalinowski and the under curve,
but it'll have Sam Levine defending his championship against the winner of the tournament.
That when we hit 300, that guarantees that.
When we get to that 340 stretch goal, that allows us to do the going after the cash.
You'll be able to put, like, now that we have those descriptions out there for the characters,
you'll be able to check that out.
You'll be able to say, oh, the character of so-and-so, this, we'll get updates
on who we're going to go after, go after certain people with,
maybe we didn't have the budget to go after those rates.
So we're moving and we're trying.
So next Thursday is our next 10-hour stream.
And that will start the same time 10 a.m. in the morning and get us all the way through like we did last time.
And I'm putting together all the people to kind of come in to do that one.
So it should be, it's going to be a lot of fun.
I hope if people haven't had a chance to back it, now this is the week to do it.
So fingers crossed.
And we'll see if we can get this all done together.
Let's make our show.
I just opened up the Kickstarter just to take a look.
I'm loving these Schmodeon shirts.
I'm actually surprised that the,
that the We're back one that you didn't go full John Wick and go,
yeah, I'm thinking we're back.
I don't think we're back.
You know, I should, you know, I'll post this because let me,
I'm going to send it to PLD.
PILD, put it in the in the pictures.
and I'll make it live, but you're going to love this.
We actually have photos now of what the Shmowdown shoes or sneakers are going to look like.
Ooh, okay.
And I think that they're the best out of the three, though.
That's my personal opinion.
Okay.
But let me, I'm going to send all three.
Oh, dude.
Did you see him?
No, no, not that I was going to say.
Let me see if I can find it real quick.
I told you what I'm doing for the wedding, right?
What I'm doing for my groomsmen?
Um, no.
So, um, a buddy of mine, a buddy of mine, um, does custom shoes himself.
Okay.
You did.
Yes.
Yes.
And, um, so what I'm doing for my groomsmen and myself as well, but, um, my friend is, I asked them all
who their favorite superhero is and he's actually putting them all on the shoe.
So he sent me, he sent me, um, a photo of the first one.
My sister is in my, my bridal party and she's into, uh, Sailor Moon.
and so she liked Siler Jupiter, and that was the first one he finished.
And these are so cold, bro.
Hold on.
Let me see if I can find this real quick because I, like, one, I just think y'all will think they're cool.
But two, you know, if anybody's interested in like, like you said, with these as well,
like you might even want to use him for another, if you need it for your, for your stretch cold stuff, man,
because he's really talented.
Awesome.
Yeah, it'll take me a second.
Okay, cool.
All right.
Well, PLD, let me know when those are in.
there. But I'm pretty excited for it. I see and you know I and I'm going to be taking some I'm trying
to think what I'm doing today. I have so I have a couple things I have to do after if I can stick
around for a little bit of a super size show so if people want to start putting questions in I
see a couple of people already did that but if people can do that um you just put in any
questions you want regarding the campaign the kickstarted the last six seven days that we have anything
in general you want to know about that shmow down anything along those lines and we'll do that at the end
of the show as always.
Okay, so it is up.
Okay, so let me, let me show you these.
These sneakers are going to be available next week, and they're going to be limited.
So, Winston, check this out.
Yeah, those are pretty fire.
Is that one?
That one.
A nice one that matches all the shirts, nice.
And then this one.
That one's pretty great.
That's pretty dope.
That's pretty great.
So those are, those are the three that's up there.
that it will be up there currently.
That's pretty,
that's pretty fire, dude.
So we'll,
we'll have those,
those will probably be gone by the time we get to the stream,
because the other,
the other sneakers were really fast.
Yeah,
that doesn't surprise me.
The other sneakers were also pretty damn badass.
All right,
let's move on to this,
um,
next thing here,
which is the story,
uh,
we'll stick with some,
let's do some DC stuff here.
And sticking with DC.
And we have this story about this animated show.
that someone we talked about it yesterday but not as an official story so mr miracle the series has
kind of set its leave you heard this story Winston i did but we we've we've uh I'm trying to remember
it was um Josh Josh Hutchinson yeah yeah so I don't know the other girl okay so mr miracle
series sets its leads here it is so I don't know anything about this Winston will have to
educate me on in a second Josh Hutchison and McKenzie Davis oh I like McKenzie Davis
will be taking on the lead role of Scott Frey and Big Barter in Tom King's upcoming Mr. Miracles animated series at DC Studios.
Titles based on the acclaimed 12-issue comic book series of the same name by Tom King and Mitch Gerrids with King, with King,
with King's with showrunner and executive producer.
DC Studios co-chief Peter Safran confirmed the casting with IGN at the recent world premiere of Clayface,
speaking about King.
He discussed how the man's work on HBO Max Landren's help with this animated series.
I think that Tom King really learned a lot in his season of co-creating an executive.
and producing lanterns and he adapted his book mr miracle fully on his own wrote all eight episodes and i think
just dynamite josh hutchinson is scot free and mackenzie davis's big barter and i think it's a book that i've
always loved that remember tom telling us early on uh at every convention he goes to at least a couple
people come up to him and say this book saved my life and i love that we get to tell that story over
eight episodes it's a beautiful story series follows scott free the worldwide celebrity sensation known as
mr miracle who's the greatest escape artist who ever live but can pull
off the ultimate trick and escape death itself.
Something that's gone horribly wrong with a perfect life.
Scott and his warrior wife, Big Bart, have built for themselves on Earth.
With war raging between their home world of apocalypse and new Genesis,
Scott's cruel, adopted father, Darkside, seems to finally have captured the anti-life equation.
The ultimate weapon will give Darkside total dominance over the universe.
As the mountains and bodies on both sides grow even higher, only Mr. Miracle can stop the
slaughter and restore peace, but the serial power of the anti-life equation may have already been at work in his old mind.
Nathan Phillan, he's going to reprise his role as Guy Gardner,
Green Lantern Role, and the eight-episode anime in this series.
So I have so many questions then.
Yeah.
Because my major question with this is that I will say that this actually makes sense to me
to hear the dark side aspect of it, because I just finished watching the Snyder cut, right?
And so he leans pretty heavy into the dark side and going after that.
My question is the same thing that I had when Star Wars announced, like,
everything was canon stuff, right?
So this is clearly a canon DCU show, right?
So all this stuff is going on at this time,
and I don't know when the time period is,
and this is something you can answer.
Darkside is coming to town,
and we're not going to see Superman and anybody else deal with them.
It's going to be these two people I've never heard of
and haircut Magoo?
I mean, that's the thing.
I know a lot of people immediately jump to Darkside
being tied to Superman or Darkside being tied to the Justice League,
which makes sense.
but they're that's the thing is is specifically with Scott and Barta because they were raised on
Apocalypse are directly tied to him as well it's kind of the way that like when you think of the
kingpin the kingpin is tied to oh it takes place off somebody said it's yeah exactly so that makes
sense that makes sense so so in the way that like the kingpin is kind of an overall Marvel villain
but like you know people really associated with daredevil but you can also associate him with
with Spider-Man, the way that Dr. Doom, you could associate him, you mainly would associate him
with the Fantastic Four, which you could associate him with Captain America's same kind of idea.
No, that makes a lot more sense that it's off Earth. I thought if it was on Earth, well, where
the hell's everybody else? If they're not even close to it and it's so far away and maybe that
then sets it up down the line for these characters to appear live action, that makes all the
sense in the world. So okay, then fine. And I can even, and I can even see that kind of situation
is that it said, like it said in here, that they've built a life for themselves on Earth,
that was a thing they escaped their oppression.
They hear that stuff is going on back home,
and if this got too out of hand,
especially the one thing Darkside really is always looking for,
is the anti-life equation,
the quick explanation of what that is.
It is essentially something that Darkside discovers
in order to break people's will.
So they will just do whatever he says,
no matter what they lose all hope,
they don't care about life.
That's why it's anti-life,
because they don't care about their life,
they just do what he says.
So if he gets that, he rules the universe.
And if they hear that he has,
it, I would not be surprised that, you know, we were out of the game.
We didn't want to deal with it.
I guess we got to go to Apocalypse and stop him.
I can 100% see that happening.
So I'm excited about it.
I became a big Mr. Miracle fan watching Justice League Unlimited.
I really didn't know a lot about him before that.
And then I read his stories afterwards.
He's a fun character.
Okay.
Okay.
So that may an interesting way to do this in general.
So I like, I think within
animation, I like them then bringing in characters outside of like the big three, right?
Like that that makes, that to me makes more sense to tell the stories and see of people,
because it's going to be a smaller audience, but it doesn't mean that you can't capture
an audience that starts to get really excited about it and then starts to give you more justice
to maybe eventually turn them into live action characters. But it's the going after the B tier,
or C tier characters and giving them live action movies that it's like, I don't know if that's
the call right now, guys.
And it seems like they're doing exactly
they're doing a good strategy here, right?
And even the strategy yesterday, what we talked about with
Swamp Thing and making, you get mangled now that he's available
and you have him do kind of a smaller movie within Swamp Thing.
I like that strategy still.
I'm going to, so you seeing Clayface on Tuesday?
I do not have a screening too.
I just have to wait until Thursday.
Thursday, yeah.
I'm going to check out Clayface.
on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to it. I mean, it seems so far so good.
And we'll, the two conversations that will be next week are reactions or three stories,
reviews and then box office when it comes out on, I guess Friday will be like, okay,
how did it do on the Thursday previews? But then it really would be the following week on Monday to
see how it really did. So I would like to see where they're going to go with this, what they mean.
then you look at Gorilla Grod, which is a completely different show altogether in different
tone. So, I mean, they really are throwing every kind of tone all over the place. And I wonder
if they're going to stick with one tone eventually or they're just going to keep throwing tones
all over the place. Yeah, it's, it's interesting. I mean, that was that was one of the things
that I think made the MCU strong during like phase two because they really got in a stride of that of,
huh, let's let's really make each one of these like fit into a genre that that really works. So
like, you know, Winter Soldier being like the political spy thriller or the international spy thriller having, you know, like Antman be a heist movie, like things like that.
I thought that that was like a really fun thing that they did.
And it feels like they're trying to do with something pseudo similar here.
So we'll see.
But I love your example of what you said of you, the A-lister should be the ones right now.
The big three should be the ones with the focus in movies.
And then if you think about it like sports, if that's your main offense, let this be special.
teams go go get your kickoff return go do your punt and and if you do well that still helps the
team you don't have to be the main focus but we still need you to go out here and perform yeah create
create some characters in in these animated shows and see how they do and and kind of throw it against
the wall and give it a shot but curious what people think um overall about this what are your thoughts
what are you thinking about the fact that they're doing this animated show are you interested in
seeing it push your thoughts in there let us know another reason why that
works, by the way, as I think about it even more, when you look at like Creature Commandos,
and I'm sure that Creature Command, I don't know what the ratings overall. Peelty, can you do a search
and just see, was, was Creature Commandos considered a hit or miss? I'm going to say it was
considered a hit in, because the numbers are so significantly different of what you have to strive
for when you're a doing TV, B, doing an animated show, right? Because you know right away that you're going to,
the audience is not as,
is going to be as big for a lot of the comic book
fans, there'll be a significant
audience that wants to
see it and check it out.
But you have, you have more room to play
when you're in the animated thing
because you have, okay, as long as we can stick up
to this number, because GorillaGrod
is a live action show and they're still going to want
to make sure that they hit a certain number and
get enough people watching and have people interested.
You have more room to play in the animated
space.
Right. For sure.
You do.
You a thousand percent do.
On top of the fact that you can do more for less money.
I'll say debut to strong reviews landing the low 90s.
It's a critical audience hit, high viewership and early renewal.
So that's that's that is exactly my point.
Because the standard of what they're looking to try to get when you pitch the animated show.
It's like, okay, we like lanterns, you got to make sure.
you hit this.
With Creature Commandos, you've got to make sure you hit this.
And if you exceed that, okay, great.
Let's do it again. Let's do another season.
And so then now they're doing that with this show.
It's a good strategy.
It makes sense.
Yeah.
Okay.
Let's now,
there's two stories here with this Netflix story
because I want to do kind of the follow-up
afterwards.
Oh, real quick, before we do that,
I brought them up.
They're on the screen share.
before putting a screen share
one of the other media.
Oh, nice.
Yeah, so
got like the date and everything on there,
but yeah,
no,
so he's did that full kind of mock-up
and like,
so that's what he's got everybody's name
and like their individual superheroes
and stuff on there.
So yeah,
he's really talented.
That's great.
So,
well, that's awesome.
Yeah, it's amazing
that these guys can do these things.
Okay.
So let's see.
How?
could I watch something that's never going to come out?
You don't think it's going to come out?
The animated show? I think it will.
I don't think that's true. I think I...
He's talking to Lantern season two.
Oh, oh, oh, and season two.
But didn't they, they didn't even say that they're...
That's the conversation in the chat. He thinks it's not to be made.
And you think it's not going to make and everything else, although...
It's an executive saying they're leading towards it, right?
They're excited about it.
I mean, the ratings are pretty good, so...
Yeah, there was a, there was a new story that came out that essentially said
they have the room set up and they're working on it.
But if the execs do not okay, whatever they come up with, it's not happening, even with their good numbers.
So they're, they're waiting to hear what their final kind of idea is for season two before they greenlight anything.
Yeah. Okay.
All right. Let's see.
So this story, this was that there's kind of a two on with this Netflix story because there's a,
larger story about the CCO that left and that of course is um bella Bajara who left and
there's a lot of people are wondering like it's kind of they couldn't believe that it happened
what was going on and then so there was there was the outsting of of Belvisar from her role
as chief content officer at Netflix sparked a furor flurry of speculation as to the reasons why a
report at variety sites sources speculating she could be a scapego for larger business concern
including slower user engagement and layoffs.
At the same time, two separate reports have emerged in the past few days about Netflix's two biggest gamble films in the next six months.
David Fincher's further misadventures of Cliff Booth and Greta Gerwig's Narnia of The Magician's nephew.
First up, page six, Tatiana Siegel reports that Fincher opted to exit his Netflix deal after hitting too many walls with the film chairman Dan Lynn who took over in 2024.
Underlin, Netflix's original film output has been cut.
cut by more than half. A push by Fincher for major costly reshoots on Cliff Booth resulted in
approval for just a few days of additional photography. Even then, the film's budget is said to be
above 200 million. The Insider has reported that friction has also emerged between Lynn and
Greta Gerwig over Narnia, the magician's nephew with Lynn offering plenty of notes on earlier
cuts and promise to fix the movie and post-production after test screening issues. The result is that a buffer
now reportedly exists between Gerwig and Lynn,
but the former still working hard on the film.
Lynn was spared in Netflix's job cuts this week,
which saw the streamer layoff 1,000 staffers on Wednesday.
However, Sharon Waxman at the wrap this morning report
is that with Peter Rice now replacing Majara
in and overseeing all content,
Lynn may no longer fit the model,
especially if at least one of these costly films fails.
It's being speculated that freshly ousted from Warner Brothers Pictures film buses,
Michael Beluka and Pam Abdi could be up for his job.
But if they were to come on board,
then theatrical releases would likely have to be guaranteed.
Some actual hard details are expected to be revealed.
What Netflix does is next quarterly earnings.
I'm glad that they said it because I was going to say the thing.
I think this is a given.
This is the kind of stuff that I saw all the time kind of happened.
Even back when I was working,
it's over like between 2005 and 2007.
Executives were always fighting for their job and the big,
and they were like the big wigs of the thing.
It was like Greg Silverman, and Dan Lynn was actually there at the time.
Greg Silverman, Dan Lynn, Courtney Valenti, I think.
I can't remember.
There were tons of people that were there.
And it was Jeff Robinoff, I think, was the main guy at the time.
And they all just, they maneuver, they shift, they get new jobs, they get the bigger job.
It's just what happens, right?
And it's all about how much money did you make me this year?
And it is, it is a, it is, this is why the executives are the way that they are.
Because it's no different from like saying politics.
off too is that they're they're all fighting to get that that position to be in that position of power
and when you do a big movie you're the hit of the town you go to work the next day and you're you're
the best executive ever lived but then you put out a stinker and he's like uh-oh you can lose your job tomorrow
and when you look at all the stuff that look at abdine deluca now when they were at
warner brothers last year they were they were the two they were the two best executives everything that
they did they were it couldn't miss and this year they stunk up the joint and then they get canned
However, but they're two, but they still have that resume behind them.
So now, and it would be that kind of, that say by Sarando's coming in and going,
now we're going to take the ones that Paramount just got rid of and we're going to bring them in to run it because everyone's having problems with Dan Lynn.
Yeah.
Everyone's having problems with them.
I mean, they're arguing.
And that is always an issue, though.
That's a different type of issue than just losing money.
If your main guy is always fighting with the talent, directors and the actors and, uh,
that's that's a problem and if you can't see eye to eye because and by the way in the
other end for the first woman who got removed whoever's green lighting a 270 million
dollar narnia movie bye bye bye bye I don't care how good it is you're not going to make your money back
on that movie norny it just doesn't not be a net I know they're doing a theatrical
they're doing a long theatrical run for it the longest theatrical run that they've done so far because
they're trying to get their money back but the problem is narnie in general
even the ones that were good didn't do very well in the theater.
Is this not a reboot?
This is the first book.
The first book is not the Lion, The Witch and a Wardrobe,
where everybody thinks that it is.
No, that's the second one.
That I remember.
Yeah, this is, this is the very,
they have never done the very first book before.
There's actually the sixth book in the series,
but it's a prequel.
Chronologically, chronologically.
Time, that's what I meant.
Time wise, it's, it's, so the first,
the first book is Lion Witch.
in a wardrobe. Right. That was a thing that came out.
But it's a sixth book. It's chronologically
timeline the first one.
Sorry. So
that is, that's where they've never
done this before. So
I'm curious to see
what they're going to do here
with this
major, I mean, she may be
very well, maybe be the scapego. I don't know.
I don't know who greenlit
those two movies at that kind of
budget point. The same reason why
how much
did once upon a time in Hollywood
cost? I'm going to guess and say
140. I'm going to say
140 for that movie, which
and that's only because
it's Tarantino, but I'm going to say 140.
What is it, Peelty? The budget for
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Approximately 90 to 96 million.
Right. Not even 140.
And the sequel
without Tarantino is 200 million?
That's kind of crazy. What are you doing?
That's insane.
I don't care. Who's
direct and it's like i look i love fincher is legend but no absolutely not it's it's not because i don't
it yeah that's it's it's it's this overspending stuff and it's like you're if you overspend and
do not deliver your job's going to be in jeopardy now this woman might have been a scapegoed like
they said very well could be but someone's going to pay the price yeah no i i i that's that's
a thousand percent what's going to happen i it's funny man like i know depending on who is
watching our show here
that they don't always
love all the sports analogies, but sports
can be so telling
for everything else in life and the idea
of like you said, if you
got a team that was like, bro, we were
in the Super Bowl last year.
You get some grace to be like,
okay, we went like
8 and 9. We less than 500.
Like, you don't want to throw the whole team out.
But if you, it doesn't matter if you win the Super Bowl,
if you go 0-17 the next season,
you're done. Like, they throw
your ass out on your ass.
Yeah. So it's, I
wouldn't say that Warner Brothers was that bad, but
they definitely
like bumped their head a lot. So I'm not surprised by
that. Like you said with these decisions,
if you go and you as a GM
leverage the farm to go get every
star player and then you
do horribly, that's
kind of what this is right here. You, like you
mentioned, you spent how much
on Cliff Booth? I am not getting my
money back. You ass. So
like you have to get out. No, both
movies and it's like Narnie I could see Narnia doing well it taking a shot of you and I
Max and because Greta Gerwig just did a billion dollar film like 150 160 that makes sense
for for that property but almost a hundred million more it's like what are you doing it's like
that's just dumb but either way and and and it looks like Fincher's like I don't want to deal with
dan lin anymore I'm out of here so it seems like so losing him now they might not feel
that that's that big of a deal if if Cliff Booth
doesn't perform because they're going to do a minor release on that one and we'll see how it does but
i'm curious what people think about this do you think this is going to affect Netflix i mean if
losing a thousand people they're going to bring in the luca and abdi what say you guys
put your thoughts in there and let us know now here's an interesting story Winston like
this is kind of unprecedented i think you know they're doing that that beatles movie
Yeah.
Beals movies.
They're doing like four, like one for each.
They're doing four, four Beatles movies.
So this is a very,
I don't know
how I feel about this strategy.
But I'll read it nonetheless.
Check it out. Here's this.
This is those Beatles movies that are coming out.
The Sony's Beatles films
could do the same day.
They could go on the same day.
So let's see.
You got Sony Pictures has been targeting
in April,
2028 release date for the Sam Mendes directed films about the Beatles, but how they intend to roll out the
four movies project isn't clear. On the weekend, Mendez's producing partner, Pippa Harris, offered a tease
at the BFI London Film Festival Industry forum keynote session. She said, we want people to be able to
experience them in the cinema at the same time during the same period. Now, that doesn't necessarily
mean we're thinking about that people will go and see all four films on the same day. But within the same
month, you might see one a week or you might see one film one weekend and another the next. That
That comment has led to various interpretations with the most common being a weekly rollout of the films throughout the month.
It's not the case according to sources for THR.
They indicate that both Sony and Mendez have been considering multiple approaches with the big one being a potential same day release of all four films.
In addition, they've also been considering that reporting on all four films box office receipts will be lumped together in one total, no individual tally.
The reason to avoid a horse race as to which one of the four films is more popular, each of the film.
is centered around one specific member.
Trade sources also say the plan is to make the films as not having a particular order,
that there will be no right order in which to watch the films.
All plans, all plans remain fluid amid ongoing discussions.
This is like, I've never heard anything like this before.
I kind of love it.
I do and I don't.
I liked the idea of what, like, I think it's fine to have them as one box off.
office thing because then what you're saying is, hey, we really have this epically long movie.
So fine, it was one movie.
Okay.
I don't have a problem with that.
I don't like the idea of dropping all four on the same day.
If you want to do one a week, I actually think that would be really cool.
I actually think that would be really cool.
It's a month-long event of like, here's Paul, here's Ringo, here's John, here's George.
Like that, I think would be cool.
But all in the same day, there's something about that that rubs me the wrong way unless these are all
hour long films.
No, I think that's
assuming they're all like two and a half hours each.
My question is, was this shot
and I assume the answer is yes, because otherwise
they wouldn't be able to put them all out in the same time.
Was it all shot together?
And what was the overall, again,
budget for it, right? Because
if they basically shot
this as four movies
within one shot in their own, that's
hence why they're putting all the box office,
if one movie makes $30 million,
dollars another one makes 100 million dollars it counts as 130 million dollars i think that that because
if you can quantify that and say yeah well that's we shot everything in all the budget we went into and all
four of these things so if we only make two dollars on ringo's movie but we made 200 million on on
john leon's movie then you know then it all counts together and so that's that's what i'm saying like as far as
how that process goes now the same day
is balls in. I saw someone in the comments say, you know, maybe like 10 years ago that could
have. But today, the other big question I have is, what's the competition? Because unless you're
like a hardcore Beatles fan, which there are lots of them going in one day to see four movies
is going to take it out of the only one person I know who has the energy is a Beatles fan.
And you know who that is? You don't know. You should know. I'll be there friends.
row 9 a.m. I know it all. I'll have each one. I'll have them right in my arms every album.
See it. See it. See it. See it. See it. Four times for four movies. Go.
Amazing. That was fantastic. That was fantastic. But like that's the thing. Yes, there are,
the Beatles were the largest act in the world for an extended period of time. Like it's,
they were in the rare air of them, Michael,
Jackson, Beyonce and Taylor, like very rare air.
So there are people that will drop everything to go see this.
But I just don't think it's a smart business plan unless these are actually made.
It's risky.
It's like kind of, again, as short films, unless each entry is 60 minutes, which I don't assume that's what they're doing.
I'm assuming who's going to want to pay for movies?
One, who's going to pay for that?
Two, who's got the energy to do that?
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, you really need to lock in a,
a situation that you give breathing room for people to go and really support.
Now, again, if you were like, like you said, we did all three movies,
excuse me, all four movies for 240 million.
So essentially 60 apiece.
Okay.
If that's the case, and then like you said, you don't give a shit because John Lennon brought
you in half a billion and Ringo brought you in as you said, which is why I started laughing
$2.
I was like, Goddain, why you got a disrespect Ringo.
I'm just giving an example, yeah.
I know, but by you thinking,
I was like, damn.
According to the Google, I will say that they're saying it's $400 million for the four of them.
So, so $100 million.
But they're also doing a combined marketing budget, though.
So each one's not going to get its own marketing, but it's going to be one marketing budget for all of them.
So marketing is what's supposed to be double.
So you're looking at $800 for the whole thing?
I, yeah, they don't give me that, but they're doing something easy.
I'm asking Christian, because isn't the typical thing for marketing is double your budget?
It just depends on how they're going to market it.
They are full length, supposedly.
So they're definitely going to be full length movies, but the question is how much, I don't think that, I mean, yes, each movie will have its own marketing spend, but I don't think they're going to all be like, well, that one gets $100 million, that one gets $100 million, that one gets $100.
I don't think that.
They're going to say, look, we've got X amount to market all four of these films.
How do we want to do it?
but if if it's 400 million plus let's let's let's be generous and say that the marketing is 200 million
right so we'll say 600 million so these movies collectively have to make at least 1.2 to break even
collectively yeah I mean it's the Beatles it's the Beatles I think that that's more than doable
I it certainly it's not it's not crazy it's not great and 100 million dollars for a movie normally
if you said like okay they were doing a john Lennon biopic that was
was 100 million. I think, okay, I mean, shoot. I mean, the Michael Jackson one was like,
was close to 200, I think, right? I believe so. Something like that. Um, which obviously
paid off dividends and made a lot of sense to do that. And I think a John Lennon movie,
or even a full Beatles movie together, you did a Beatles movie for $200 million. Did that make
sense? John Lennon, Paul McCartney, separate movies at both 150. Okay.
when you're doing Harrison and Ringo at $150,200 million or even 100 each, I think it's risky.
I think it's risky.
Yeah.
But we'll see.
Because I think the other thing that sticks out in my brain is...
This is the best comment I've seen all day.
I saw that too.
That is hilarious.
The one I saw instead was it was similar to that.
I think someone said Yoko Ono will return in Beatles doomsday.
Someone just said it now.
Hey, Pildi, do we still have that clip of Yokoano and Chuck Berry?
If you can find it, can you, can you download that again?
I'll take a lot.
Yeah, perfect.
Let's see, we're at.
But yeah.
But yeah, I think it's, I think it's one of those, I think it's one of those situations, though, that, again, the concept of this is cool.
I don't think you're thinking about the audience, though.
Good.
Well, I don't know about that.
Again, well, you mean you mean in day one, putting it all in the same day.
Yes.
Putting it all in the same day.
Like two and a half hour, 100 million all on the same day is not thinking about the late.
I thought you meant making all four in general.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
I think the idea of making one for each of them is actually genius.
I have no problem with that, but the idea of releasing them all in the same day,
you're not thinking about the audience and then you're going to sit around looking confused.
They're like, well, what happened?
Because as big as the Beatles is,
are and they are huge. You just have to think about the state of the economy, are people really going
to the movies like that? And do you think that the Beatles truly have the kind of staying power
to do a release specifically like this? Not the idea of the four movies. I think that again,
that works. But all on the same day, you are asking a lot of the audience to do that.
And I just don't know if they have the draw to pull something like that off.
Well, what do you guys think? You think that this is going to be something that they're going
to be able to pull off one day, weekly, monthly? What say you?
Put your thoughts in there and let us know.
All right now this week, Roka is still running in charge right now.
Roka is in the lead from what I saw.
I'm going to double check this and make sure that as of yesterday,
this is about a period.
We don't know yet.
So we have not registered Chris Carr's numbers from yesterday,
but I don't think she had as much as Roka.
roca roca is currently only about um i think 20 dollars over what roxy no you know what
12 dollars over rocks he's got he's got he's got roxy and mike by 12 dollars right now
damn so um so could wins today marshal take the win he it's been a little bit since you had
the win solo yeah i i i don't think i've i haven't won in the new format oh you haven't no oh was i
I know that was Mike for a little bit, but now.
Chris and I did one time.
Okay.
But that was because that was a day that, um,
you,
you weren't here.
So she got shifted over.
Okay.
Uh,
but I have not won personally in the new format.
Copy that.
Um,
all right,
let's see if you can change that today.
Found Happiness five.
Uh,
Muppets game on Wednesday was great.
It was fun.
It was really good.
favorite that's very nice found happiness i i like build a blockbuster i like the gauntlet um i did like
that muppets game for sure i like the video game ones there's a lot that i like he was he was i don't
think he was was that was that was that was that was that was that one that he did that he didn't
love that his new games but i thought they were pretty good but um oh yeah those are some of the
ones that i like have you played you've played some of them with him right only only the one to
the show that him and i were on two weeks ago okay those are the only ones i've played okay
It's fun.
And here's the genius behind the sneakers.
Dope, Don Designs.
PILD, start this comment, please ask Christian about the new kicks.
Yeah, so just in case you guys didn't see it, this will be going up on Monday.
So as we know that the Shmowdown is coming back for one tournament now.
Here are the...
Ooh, I don't know which ones I like more, the blue or the red.
It's pretty good.
Yeah.
I like the blue, I think...
I don't know.
I like them all, but I don't know.
I think that...
His everything he did so far.
I really like the UIP ones.
I really,
I think that I go back and forth between this one,
the trending one is my,
as my,
as my favorites.
So there you go.
And again,
we're taking some more questions.
Whatever you guys want to do,
start them up.
I did see someone ask about the t-shirts,
and I think it's starred anyway,
but I'll answer the question now.
Someone said, like,
well, I want to up my pledge.
It said, oh, it's from a reader right now.
It is from Vivian McCoy.
This is Christian and PILD,
I want to put up my pledge,
but I don't want the t-shirt.
however I can't remove it is there a way around this thing so much really yeah you can
definitely remove it so basically what you do what Craig said was if you go to update your pledge
you just remove the add-on and then that will be that will then it should be gone um
christian aralana you just i just saw you can see everything last night it was so funny it was engaging
reveals once elizabeth goes to prison and there and that and that reveals once elizabeth goes to prison
crazy five out of five shmos i think that reveal um yeah i hear it's great
I hear it's great.
Damn.
I can't wait, man.
I cannot wait.
You seen it this weekend?
So that was my game plan.
It's funny because the Cowboys play the Packers.
And so my fiance and some friends were like,
oh, we're all going to go see it at this time.
And I was like, that's a three-hour movie.
And I'm very invested in this game.
I might go buy myself at midnight tomorrow.
Wow.
Be in the theater of three in the morning?
I don't care.
Holy moly, all right.
At this point, like I said, I'm running on caffeine in dreams.
Yeah, right.
Mike Rios, David Fincher should direct the rest of the Batman part two because the film was inspired by the movie seven.
Well, I mean, it seems like Soderberg has a clear relationship with Matt Reeves.
And I don't think that that's something that Fincher, you know, maybe, and I think it becomes something different in that way.
And I think that Soderberg's stepping to do it, we'll be able to.
It's one thing to say to Soderberg, hey, we kind of took this inspiration from a Fincher movie.
It's another thing to say, hey, we kind of took this inspiration from you.
And can you do what you think you would do?
And he's like, I'm just going to do what I would do.
And it's not going to be Matt Re's version.
This is going to be my bird.
And then it becomes too tricky.
So I wouldn't have done that.
Frank, B.T. Soderberg is my favorite director.
Do you think this will lead him to doing a whole movie for D.C.?
What character would you like him to tackle?
I mean, I don't know if that's the case because this is a D.C.
straight up kind of out D.C.
I don't know how much he's doing with James Gunn and Safran.
The answer is he might be doing a lot with them.
I don't know.
But maybe he doesn't want to do that.
Maybe he wants to just help him out and then do his own thing afterwards.
Remember, he was in talks to do that particular thing with Star Wars.
So it seems like he's been circling the big, huge budget.
Wasn't at one point, PLD?
Wasn't he one of the guys that says I was retiring at one point?
He was, right?
This is what I always say.
Yeah, Soterberg, at one point he was retiring.
I and you heard me how much I raised about Soderberg.
He's one of my favorites.
Tarantino's one of my favorite directors.
I'm so tired of directors saying,
I'm going to retire after my last thing.
They're like wrestlers or football players.
No, you're not.
Unless you have like,
there's something going on medically,
unless there's maybe age-wise,
you just can't do it anymore.
But Tarantino going,
oh, after my last film,
done. Okay. Daniel Day-Lewis. I'm never acting again and then he comes back for a son's film.
It's different from other, from other professions. It's also from the standpoint of it would be one
thing if you were retiring for a few years. I just have Sotaberg's thing open. He's done something
every single year. So there was never an actual retirement. If you like went away for three or four
years and you're like, I'm convinced somebody got me back in, I'll give you that. But
when you say, I'm probably going to retire.
And then literally six months later,
another project comes out.
What are you talking about?
Yeah.
And they do it.
And it's like,
don't,
it's like,
you can say,
I'm taking a break for a bit.
And that break could be indefinite.
You could say I'm taking a break.
After this movie,
I'm going to take a long break.
And you can decide,
like,
and someone could see you on the thing and they go,
hey,
you know,
you haven't directed a movie in five years.
Yeah,
I'm still on one break.
It's been 10 years.
You're not doing a movie.
Yeah.
And then you're like,
that was the last movie you ever did.
I just don't want to do it.
But to say, I'm retire.
And then you say, I'm just kidding.
I'm back.
Don't see you retire.
I blame Michael Jordan and Jay Z.
Maybe.
Yeah, maybe.
Because they, because they essentially both did the same thing.
Were they like, I mean, obviously we know with Michaels that that was like tragedy because like his dad being murdered.
Right.
Right.
Like I've always wanted to do this for my dad.
I'm going to do that.
And then, you know, he came back.
Right.
Because he did say that.
He was like, I'm out.
And then he just came right back like a year and a half later.
It was like, ah, I'm Jay Z.
See, M Punk.
Another one. I'm retired.
Never wrestling ever again.
Okay.
It's having the best run of his career right now.
All right.
So let's see, next one after that.
I did that one.
Okay.
Nathan Drake, sorry about your Dodgers.
Not his Dodgers.
You don't care.
Do you care?
Be honest.
I mean, the two teams that I support
repeated collectively, so I'm good.
But you don't care.
They got eliminated.
Come on.
You don't care.
Not as much as I care.
about watching what's going on with the WMBA right now.
Right.
Because I have told you that.
I am a Cowboys fan, like, kind of above everything else.
The Babs just have my heartbroken, so I don't really talking about,
but I'm a huge WNBA fan, so I'm more concerned right now
about the WMBA finals than I am about baseball.
But yet, you went to the premiere.
You went to that parade premiere.
Yeah.
You walked around and you celebrate it, but now that they out,
you don't give two big fat bowels, right?
Look, big balls.
I didn't say that I fully didn't give a fuck.
I just said that it's not a priority compared to other things.
Come on, man.
If I gave you a chance to either watch the Dodgers win one of those games or a Sarah J.
Marathon, you know what you're taking.
I would go see the Dodgers World Series game because I told you, if you would said,
if you would say Ellie Clutch, that I might have put you up on that.
Together forever.
And I Thelma Louise, like a six weeks.
I know Big Balls is on the screen, but I don't know if I can say.
Except they didn't drive.
They're driving off no, no, no cliff.
They're going into cliffs.
Yeah, they're going into.
Cavins, cabins and whatnot.
You know, we on the same page, me and you.
We always got along, me and you.
We know, so be truthful, my man.
We do, Big Balls, you brown.
You brown.
You hold down.
You know it.
You know it.
Yeah.
of me i can bounce
all right man
you stay safe
you too
all right there he goes
I don't know
where the hell is you like
you know it is consistently
that he has
where's the two shot
he has always been nice to you
mean everybody
he's always been chill
he's always been
that's because he's always like
look at all these
these fine there's women over here
yeah
yeah always
and that's still
you said my favorite
was that freaking we don't have it anymore though with my birthday video i forgot about that one
poor giraffe still hasn't recovered um all right went through 19 so far we gotta build it up
see if you can take out john roca if not peeled he's gonna have convulsion at the end of the show
um so back that they focused it on the brother who's clearly like chuck berry
is this is chuck berry was not thrilled all right tim so far from all the reactions i'm seeing online
the two films that are must see in my opinion this weekend as you see everything documentary will
fall uh i'll go with the first part well fall you don't need to see in the theater it's it's
unless you know if you're just going for the actual like um the stuff in this if you just literally
just going for the see stuff and a lot of people maybe are going for that like that that stuff's intense
and austin ambr's is great but it's it's one of those movies that just kind of comes and goes
in my opinion um p s lesson to takeaways that money can't buy happiness as we have seen
last night in Dodgers Stadium America one
suck at Dodgers there you go. They still got two chips
what does your team have? I mean he's a
Houston guy so they have a couple so you
cheated your way to a bunch of chips that's fair
I don't give a fuck about your opinion I love you Timson
yeah but as far as like a sports
fan your team is a bunch of cheaters
yeah that's that's totally I'm not gonna
I'm not gonna defend them on that one
I'm wrong Winston talk about the new Martin
fighting game have you seen this
did you watch Martin back of the day I used to watch
there are two times that I can
remember laughing so hard
I was crying during a television
show and they both
well they both sell they both have
a very similar scene
um the first
was married with children
where
Al and
and Kelly are sitting at this theater and she sees her
boyfriend and whatever she goes daddy beat him up
and he just goes okay pumpkin
and he walks up and he just starts
hammering this guy like and the guy's called like this
back and forth and I started
cry and laughing when I saw it. Then
there was a thing,
Martin thought that, what was her name, Regina?
What was it? Gina.
He thought Gina was cheating on him in this hotel.
So he comes bursting through the hotel and he's
beating the shit out of the bellboy.
And he's, but he's, it's the way that he's doing it. He's going,
a,
screaming. I have never found that clip. I can't
find that clip anywhere. It made me laugh
so hard.
when I saw it. So I did watch, I did watch Martin from time and time. So, so somebody took it
upon themselves to make like, uh, almost in like perfect timing for street fighter coming out.
They made like an old school like eight or I guess it'd be like 16 bit side school fighting
game with Martin characters. So it's Martin, it's Gina. It's brumann. It's all of the main
characters that you've seen on the show. And they have special moves and they have like he's put like
eight bit music to it. That's like music from.
the show. It is so fucking fun, man,
especially if you watch Martin, so I highly
recommend people play it. That's great.
Okay, I answered that one.
Alan, morning, Christian Winston, what's up,
Alan? New Narnian trailer melted my face off.
The music choice won me over. Have you guys seen it? What do you think?
So I was on,
only stupid answers yesterday with DJ
and Roxy, and they were talking about the trailer
and I said, I missed the, and this is one of those other things. I missed the
reaction window. So if I don't usually watch the trailer on the reaction window, I wait,
because I'm going to see the movie anyway. So I like to go into it like well fall. I think
I saw like a brief like quick thing. Never saw anything from wellfall. So I never saw the actual in
trailer. They show like the whole apparently they show like the whole thing where he gets taken by
the whale. Yeah. I had never seen that. So then that was kind of new to me. I like going in not knowing it
because as I've said, I have the luxury of being able to do that.
A lot of people have to watch trailers and know what they want to spend their money on it.
I have the luxury of not being able, of not having to do that.
And I'm aware that not all of people can do that.
But I go and I just kind of blindly walk in and I like doing that.
It's why I became a big fan of AMCA A list and going to a screen unseen just because, like,
you don't know what you're walking into.
So a lot of times they will play movies that, like, I had never heard of this.
I get to go in blind and just watch art.
Right.
Instead of, oh, I've been so anticipating this,
oh, this shit is going to be dog water.
Like, it's, it ends up, like, making a much more fun experience, in my opinion.
Because I saw somebody put out the other day.
You watch a trailer, like you said, if you're trying to figure out if you need to go and see this.
So a lot of times when you see them put out, like, a secondary trailer for like, Doomsday,
and you go, that didn't get me more excited.
It's like, well, that wasn't about you.
You already excited.
It's to try and get that other person that, you know,
Maybe they'd have no idea what this is.
That's exactly what it is.
Yeah.
So Vivian McAvoy, there's only, there's only one pair of the original white brown
stinger left.
They're really sweet.
Oh, the trending shoes, there's still one pair left because we know we did extra ones.
Oh, okay.
Oh, so I didn't know there was one pair of left.
I'll probably get those myself.
But right now, guys, we are at 219, 647.
So we are about 753, 700.
That's actually not true at all.
Math is terrible.
$353
$353
from putting up those backstories
and putting up
the character descriptions
for the show
so people can then say,
okay,
because that's one of the things
I want to get the audience on,
especially film fans and stuff too.
Once we have those character descriptions up
and the backstory,
then I want people to start saying,
hey, you know what?
After reading that,
it would be interesting if you guys
made a play to try to get so-and-so.
Oh, you can do you ever think about that?
person from the role. Right now the audience can't do that. They can't really do that yet.
Because the two lead characters are already cast, they know. And so they need to know if you're
reading it. Oh, so that's what happens at the 220 level, which we're almost there.
How do you buy add-ons if you've already donated? Says Simiscape. You should be able to purchase them
at any time unless I'm not understanding how to buy I-ons. You can. So basically what you do,
Sim-escape, is you go and you put, just update your pledge, your pledge, and you don't
have to update it, you keep it as it is, but it'll give you the opportunity when you put update on it,
it gives you the opportunity to do the buy on there. So you don't have to change your,
your, your pledge of what it is already. You just add to the actual, um, add on. So that's how,
that's how you essentially update your pledge by, by getting the ad on. Cool. Um,
go pal, aren't streaming movie budgets inflated on paper because they don't pay proper
residuals? Yes. Yes. Yes. That's a big one. Yes. 100%.
GoPal says, did you see Paul McCartney complaining to Sam Mendez?
Because they catch John much taller than him.
But John, Paul, and George are all about the same size.
No, who's playing Paul McCartney again?
I do not know.
Actor Sam Mendez, let's see.
It is Sam.
So Paul McCartney personally texted director Sam Mendes after seeing a leak to a promotional photo.
He said he noticed that Paul Mascall plays McCartney appeared shorter
than Harris Dickinson, who plays Lenin,
saying, okay, he said,
Sam, small or don't do this.
You said you wouldn't do it.
Sam says he was sure to them that they were all the same size
and the visual height difference
was an illusion caused by their stride pattern.
Okay.
So Apple boxes exist.
What do we talk?
I think they meant when you're standing in that,
in the,
and then you're standing together in that classic photo, you know?
Do you mean the one walking across the street?
Yeah.
They're movie magic, man.
I'm sure it'll be five.
I'm sure.
Badlands, five Jules go team.
Thank you, Badlands.
And then we've got right now, 22 coming in.
We're still trying to take out Roka.
Bitch boy.
How much of those shmode-own shoes?
This same as the other add-ons.
I think they're 400 for the add-on.
And you get all the other perks and stuff too.
One, two, three, four left for now until we bid ad do.
Doug developer, 8850.
Just saw I love you, man, for the first time with my girlfriend.
Do you guys find it harder to make new friends in your late 30s?
Unfortunately, it's that way for me.
Yeah, I think, look, it is sure, because people have their own.
systems and setups and things that nature it 100% and especially when you're we if you move to a new
place or you start a new job whatever people the people have their circles and their other things and
it's i think that's why i don't know if you have kids Doug but it's like it's you meet people during
the school stuff and other things like my wife and i were talking about this when we got here
in new york it was like my wife was probably going to make friends with my younger daughters um like
the kids parents that would probably happen as opposed to making friends with my older daughter who is now
now she's in high school but she started in like 17th grade because those even those dynamics have
already been set and everything to it's it's it's just how it goes but yeah it's it's definitely
tougher as it gets i i think so i think that's like like christian just said school makes it easy
you know if you have an automatic inroad like you you go to the same daycare so our kids
met that's that makes it easy so the biggest thing i could recommend pick pick a hobby or an activity
that sounds fun so like for me how i ended up meeting my fiancee was you know i my homeboy was
like hey there's a league that plays dodgeball do you want to go play dodgeball and i was like sure
i'll give a shot why not and i ended up falling in love with the sport and then i ultimately found
a lot of my friends and my fiancee there so i would say that's the other thing find find something
that interests you and you will meet other people that are in that
that hobby. I agree with what it's not there too. I'm just doing some screenshots here just in case
if people have questions for Craig that I can actually just text him those things. So the way
we're going to do, we're going to read the rest of these super chats for Winston. Let him go
if you'll unless you guys have anything else more for him. And then I will I'll stay gone for a
little bit longer. I'll be that one. Okay, go pal with my eyes. The shirt around Winston's
neck in the dark room looks like long dreads. Yeah. That's what people will be.
I thought a couple of people say that for sure.
Rob McDonald's. Glad to see you on the Ralph report today. Oh, it went up. Good, good, good, good.
Hiked up trending in the comments. Hopefully you got some new contributions. Is Ralph a good fit for a role?
Eventually 100%. Right now, I don't know about right now because there's only so many limited things, but maybe Ralph, so thank you for bringing that up. I went on Ralph Garman's show last night and I definitely brought up Hollyweed. That was true.
and so he um
is the man he's he's such a great guy and we just talked a little bit about it and he was
you can just tell that he was on radio for as long as he was because he's just he was so
prepared and i've been on i've been on certain shows and people even were like you know oh who
your your co-star is martin what's what's her what's her full name he's like martini
paratore he's like i worked with her dad actually and
He did this and I was like, oh, wow.
And he went through, you had all the research, everything.
And we talked about the premise of the show going back.
It was one of my favorite conversations I've had so far in general.
I love talking to Ralph.
He was great.
So I'm glad that I got a chance to do that.
Yeah, that's up today.
So thanks, Rob, for, and thanks for whoever was on X that reconnected us.
Because I'd done many shows with him in the past, but it was good to connect with them.
ZERS, 02, 28.
A big thing in gaming recently is people use AI.
you decompile games together like Minecraft and GTAB or skate three in call
a duty after hearing this how do you feel this affects the show industry to to
do you know I don't necessarily know and I'm not the gamer expert here in
general so I don't I just don't know what he means by decompile I don't I'm not sure
there's do you mean do you any idea of PLD no he doesn't know either so I'm not
that one is a little tougher I don't know zers what you mean there so I mean as far
Like in general, there are going to be certain ways that they're going to add.
And it's the same thing I asked Brad Bird when it comes to like AI.
And I really like this answer.
It's like you can't ask AI to be creative, right?
And be creative.
It's not creative.
It's not what it does.
But you can use it for tools and certain things, right?
I'm so sick and tired.
Like even yesterday, somebody on our reaction was like, oh, you know, I'm a fan of the show.
So I'm not going to stop watching the channel, but you got to stop doing these AI.
I said, he was, he was hire a human.
I go, are you telling me that Luke from the Galaxy Geeks is not, he's not a human?
Because he makes the thumbnails.
He might have a program that touches it up or something to.
He takes my picture and he puts it on a photo and that's it.
And the same thing someone here said it.
It's like it's not generated photos.
And so there are little tools that you use that have put stuff in there.
And I think that that's happening in all industries.
Okay.
I just look this up specifically.
guess what decompiling in games is is essentially reverse engineering it from a compiled version
back to its source code and then once it's decompiled you can practically do anything you want
to that code then recompile it back into an executable game that runs on your computer so i guess
more or less they're talking about reverse engineering the game and then pirating it out so the concern
is is essentially kind of doing the same thing with like the like the shows and films and stuff
like that. Okay. Yeah, I don't have any answers to that. I don't necessarily know. Do you?
I mean, how it's going to affect the film and TV industry? I think in the same way that we've
been concerned about AI as a general whole, if people start using that, if studios start using that
as a means to try and undercut, you know, actors, whether that be the main stars on screen and, like,
doing the Tilly Norwood shit or that you fully wipe out background actors, which you would do
to writers, where the idea of, like, I have an idea right.
me a script like people are trying to push for those protections it really will depend on what
ends up opening but i hate that like AI engineers have been like one day you could just like
put your mom in ocean's 11 and like she could be the start i'm like okay this is whatever people
are already doing that no drinking water like just so you can be an amigos trend like okay sure it's and
it is starting to get scary better though that was the whole thing where where
I said the one.
You can still tell. You can still tell, but
it's getting significantly better where
I've even talked about it
in nauseam where
you can, it looks great,
but you can tell of like,
hey, I'm sitting here with
blah, blah, blah, blah. And you're like, that's AI from the
second that starts. However, I just
saw this thing that popped on my Instagram feed.
It was, it was Axel Foley,
John Matrix, and John Rambo.
driving in a car together
with the Beverly Hills cop team in the background
and there were times
I'm like it didn't seem like AI
because even one was like he's like
and Axel tries to
is like hitting on these women in the car
and says something and drives away and he goes
and Axel says something to
Arnold and he's like
what do you think the problem was he was you
and the delivery on it I was like that
it didn't seem
and maybe it's just because sometimes Arnold
comes off a little robotic anyway, but it just didn't seem, there's another like usual suspects
thing that popped up in my feed that I was like, it's getting better now. And that's the scary
thing is once that starts happening, when you can't tell anymore, because there will be a time
when you're not going to be able to tell him. There's enough where you can barely tell at times
with, like, they'll take a presser from a coach and then make him say, wow. So like I saw one with
Mike Tomlin, like right after he decided to leave the Steelers and all that.
He's like, I just want to say everybody's a bitch.
Air Rodder's a bitch.
The Steelers is a bit.
Like they just like did that.
And at first I was like, is this?
I was like, oh, that's clearly AI.
There's no way Mike Tomlin would say that.
But it for half a second because it was in the proper press room background and everything.
It took.
So I don't know.
All right.
All right.
Let's see.
Next one.
Where is it?
This one?
No, he did that one.
I'm going to go through, let me go through these first.
Actually, let me do Eds because Craig wrote back.
Krishna Pileam, I posted the group.
I posted the steps on how to add the shirt in their pleasure.
Two people are saying they're only seeing 250 up on add-ons.
I replied to them that I'm at the 125.
Did the steps again?
The add-on page still shows all the add-ons.
Can you ask if the add-on page only shows certain add-on tiers?
He said, looking, not seeing anything on my end.
That's what he said.
So, um,
Let's see. What did you say? I didn't upload since it's like a 25 seconds, but nothing really the clip.
Yeah, go ahead. Let's let's let's let's rescue appeal. They put it in there because we'll see if we can, if we can get away with it. If we can't, we just remove it later. Okay. Tuning in late, this, Christov is wild. Care to comment. Basically said that people don't align with him should die. Sorry if you're already. Yeah, you got to watch the same thing. Didn't care for the comments.
But you can go back and watch it on Tuesday.
Mike, Moodra, I have a few questions about our show.
And for the stream, first question is, how was the script process like?
And the other question is, good job, Mance on the stream.
Mance I can double check with, for sure, and ask him as far as the script process.
Like, you asked me that yesterday, Mike.
And that was, it was, you know, it was just Martinez for like a full, I actually talked about on Ralph's show too.
It's like a full year developing it and putting it together.
How excited are you getting that our show is getting full series?
Well, we're not getting full series.
I mean, I, I, I, full series is even a full season.
It would be great.
We're getting a, we're getting a, a, a pilot.
So adding things to the script and any more characters to the seasons.
So, oh, let me, let me, Mike, I'm not sure if, if I understand the question.
Are you saying how excited am I with the chance that we can get a full series?
We had a chance to get a full series.
We really excited.
Yeah.
Chris, how we did that one.
Okay, okay, okay.
Mike, would you rather, would you ever consider directing an episode of our show?
I mean, right now it's the last thing in the world I'd want to try to do.
You've already got a lot on your mind.
Well, but it's also the fact that, like, you know, I'm jumping.
Like, I know this character really well, and I'm excited to bring him on.
But I am not also naive to the fact that it's been a while since I've acted in front of the camera.
So just wanting to.
That's what I got to do first.
Yeah.
I think, I think on top of it, like, you can bring in, you could, you could direct it and have a, like, assistant director on hand that essentially takes over whenever you're in a scene.
because I've seen people do that all the time.
But I think especially knowing that like, like you said,
you haven't acted in a while,
how close you are to this project,
it would be better to not even put that in your hands right now
and save that for, you know,
maybe if you want to do like the season finale,
once you guys get it full season one or something, you know.
Yeah, well, that's what we got to say.
Pildee said he just sent me a gift.
Oh, here it is.
Oh, that wasn't it, though.
That was the same episode, too.
That was the same episode, but he, but he, he, he's, he's, he's beating the crap out of the guy.
Uh, unless that was it, but I can't, I, I, I remember him. I can't, I, I remember him clearly hitting the guy.
Um, anyway, all right.
say let's say we go back to what we're talking about here okay Christopher adding to zero's
comma the games that are working scarily well and put into perspective people were still learning
to decompile Mario 64 before AI came into the picture is for it's too oh there you go so I like
that kind of perspective thank you very much um yeah so that's that's that's that whole industry
fascinates me and how that works genesis is gaming with the hunger game sunrise on the reaping coming
in theaters on the 20th focusing on the young hamage's story would you and sam consider watching the series
They're up to five movies currently.
Yes.
I just don't know.
I think that the beauty of it of Sam not being,
Sam not seeing it in the theaters and stuff is that I could probably get to the Hunger Games movies with her in December and January.
And by the time that movie comes out on digital,
which will probably be January that we can catch up to all of it.
So, yeah, potentially.
Smart.
Yeah.
Okay.
Laura Blade, regarding trending, I have major fomo since I will be on vacation in Japan.
We'll miss the mega stream.
Last one was so fun.
I'll finalize my pledge today though. Best luck. Thank you, Laura. I appreciate that very much. Yeah, we're coming to the stretch. We're hoping that everybody can be there. If you can, great, not. We understand.
Yeah, Winston, currently we're at 219, 647. We can hit 220. We're going to put those character descriptions on there. And then once we start doing these live streams moving forward for the next seven days, I can start asking you guys, hey, give me some your ideas or who you think would be.
right for the role of so-and-so. Who would you think we were right for so-and-so? Who could you
imagine in something like that? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that once we hit the
220, we'll be able to do that. All right. So that's it for now. Winston, I'm going to let you go.
I'm going to stay on the longer stream for everybody. Did you find it, Pieldy found it. Hold on.
Oh, okay. But if you keep running off at the mouth, I'm going to body slam you. Now get it going.
Roll with it.
I love it because it was so improv.
It was clearly.
And the fact that,
the fact that,
like, he was clearly supposed to hit him,
but he was doing all those,
like, random jump kicks.
So he was, like, backing up.
And then he started looking like he was getting hit,
even though he wasn't even close.
It killed me when I saw it.
Anyway,
all right, Winston, where can the good people find you?
You can find me at the Swaggy Blur on all platforms,
especially here on YouTube.
I still have some stuff going up on my channel,
but because this feature is taking a lot of my time,
I'm on like a kind of pseudo hiatus right now.
So the main stuff is to check me out on social media.
I am still on split tequila on Tuesdays.
I still have blurs in the hood on Wednesdays,
and I'm still here on Friday.
So yeah, just stay close to the chess and come say what's up.
And then Winston, I guess you'll be, if you're able to,
you'll pop in on Thursday for a little bit too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, just let me know.
Same thing, that's a shoot day, but I could definitely pop in for a little bit.
So I would love to.
So just let me know.
All right. Thank you, Winston. Being here, make sure you check out Winston. Oh, that's not Winston. That's me. Make sure you check out Winston on all his platforms, as he said. Yeah, so I'm actually doing that today. I'm going to start reaching out to people and asking who's coming on for next week because we're here, man. We're going to find it real soon what the hell we're looking at and what we can start doing and get Wendy O'Brien heavily involved now.
You can start casting soon.
I'm just looking at that number waiting because I want you guys,
I want to see that, um, that 220 because I want,
I want you guys to meet these people.
Okay.
Let me see if the end.
If there's any other questions and let me see if anybody else said,
anything else that they want to talk about.
So make sure you put any questions right now.
It doesn't have to be super chat.
Just anything regarding the upcoming seven days.
What do you like, I asked for guests.
if there's ideas for guests and things that you wanted to see there for sure if there's particular things
we have games that we're going to play if there's certain games you wanted to see certain
maybe in general anybody wanted to play if there's certain things you want to hear about on the show when we do it
are there any particular celebrity guests that I can reach out to in my circle that you guys would want to see
um and and all that so um let's uh let's double check and see what everybody's saying so
unless you just want to everyone wants to go home this weekend, which is also fine.
We can, it's 138 my time.
I'm giving another five minutes.
And then if people, you know what it will show is this.
This is something for not everybody that we, this is one of our higher things that people
have been getting the most of.
And it's the 40 day challenge.
So I'll play this one more time.
How long have you said, I want to start a YouTube channel.
Then you just haven't done it.
Maybe you don't know what the channel is going to be about.
Maybe you're thinking about equipment.
Maybe you're thinking about thumbnails, maybe thinking about titles, or what is your first video even going to be about?
And eventually you spend so much time trying to figure everything out that you actually never even hit that record button.
And that's why I created this 40-day creator challenge.
I spent years building various YouTube channels, making content, hosting shows, doing interviews, and learning what works.
And most importantly, making a lot of mistakes along the way.
So over the course of 40 days, I'm going to help you find your niche, build your channel, figure out your equipment,
get comfortable on camera, create thumbnails and titles, understand analytics, and actually publish your videos.
You know, this isn't something where I want you sitting around to just watch hours and hours of lessons.
You're going to have something to actually do.
You're not going to spend 40 days learning how to become a YouTuber.
You're going to spend 40 days becoming it.
So if you're waiting to finally start your YouTube channel, this is it.
This is the right time.
Join me for the 40-day creator challenge, and let's build the channel together.
Come on.
We'll have a blast.
All right. So hopefully you join.
You know, I got to tell you something.
This is the thing.
This is the problem with the internet.
What the fuck does that have to do with me?
What the fuck does that have to do with me?
Fine.
I don't want you part of it.
I don't want you part of it.
The fuck does that have to do with me?
Hate that shit.
It's like that's a kind of schmow down shit that I would get.
Somebody does something.
It's like,
somebody I don't even talk to anymore does something.
And it's like that.
It's like fucking fine.
I don't want you part of it.
of it. I don't want you part of it. And that's it. Good. Canceled it. Good. Then we don't,
we don't want you. We don't watch you with us. And that was a member. I don't watch you as a
member on this channel anyway. It's like you're, that's, you threaten me with that
kind of stuff. The fuck does that have to do with me? Nothing. Anyway. Um, so, like, we're,
we're, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is, this is a fun thing that
we're doing together. And I'm excited that we're doing this together.
of it.
How do we?
How about their Mets?
I don't start it.
It's the same thing.
I was like,
I don't know what this is even achieving.
No,
but it's like,
for me,
it's like,
look,
I'm,
this is the,
this is the most fun that we're going to have it,
with this thing.
And this is,
this is my,
my total focus.
I want to give this to the audience of everything that they've been doing in
general.
I want this thing to be fun.
I want them to be involved in it.
I want them to,
again,
like,
saying lock arms and do it together.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
So, you know, and we're going to keep, and we're going to keep building.
We're going to keep building and move forward.
So I'm really-
Get the right people together.
That's what we do.
And that's it.
And so I hope that people, you know, that people who have and back that want to back this thing to be part of it.
Like as, and we, I don't want people to get FOMO for not being part of it, right?
Right.
Especially if we do something really special together, which I believe that we are.
Okay.
De Murdoch, 10 Jules, W.
Thank you.
Wiley. What's up, Wiley?
Is the 30-day challenge mainly geared towards new creators?
No, it's not.
I've been making content since I was 12.
Don't know it was for me, but I'm at the $500 to.
No, no, no.
It's definitely not made for, it's, I mean, because it's for people,
even if you have like 200,000 subscribers, I think it's for people.
Yeah.
Because it's a matter of, the game changes all of the time.
I can tell you right now that I was on that channel with Ellis for Shmo's No.
And it was 300,000 followers.
And I didn't, and it was Greg Alba who was like, hey, listen, you actually should be doing this, this, this, this and this.
And I was like, yeah, the game changes.
So I think there's always things to learn for sure.
I can tell you, Luke behind the scenes, he's talking to me all the time about stuff.
I'm always like, oh, wow, I didn't think about that kind of stuff.
He just knows seasons and out and him and you're not together.
It's just great seeing like traversing this kind of labyrinth that is the U2 algorithm and things.
right. All right, let's see. Oh, this is a good question. Right after this show. I'm going to,
when are you dropping Justice League right after this show?
Unedited is already up as members. It's ready up from unedited as up from members, yes.
Sean McCabe, you got this brother, the rest of can pound seeing that. So I'm saying,
look, Sean, you're one of the guys. Sean's one of the guys in the charge in the in the, in the,
front of the line who's kicking down the doors and getting ready for us to all do this. So it's
like, you know, now, now let me also make, make it very clear.
And there's something that I said. And you're like, you know what?
I kind of went back and looked at some things. And I just don't know if we align enough.
I don't know, I really, you know, from where you are and, and I don't necessarily know if I really am a fan anymore.
And I can't support you. I go, well, then clearly I said something that that drove that person away and,
and they don't feel like they want to be part of it anymore. And I would never say to that person that said that to me, I would never say, get out of here.
we don't need you because I'm like okay well you then then we just not you're just not on my
we're not on the same page anymore absolutely right but like oh I was watching this show
with somebody who said something and you know what I'm gonna take it on on that person for what
what do you do with him nothing I'm just gonna make a point it's like that that that that's that's
that's the internet I got a hair in my McDonald's hamburger I'm never going to burger king again right
or you blame it like what does that do with me and nothing to do with me in the same way like
when all the other stuff was going down a couple months ago,
it was like,
what do you think about it?
What do you,
wait,
you know what?
You're responsible to this to me.
No,
I'm not.
And nothing to do with these people.
All right,
let's see.
Barely be responsible for ourselves.
No.
No,
it's not a matter of that,
though,
but it's not a matter of that.
It's just,
it's the overall,
overall idea.
And the thing I say to like my kids and everything,
too,
it's like when it comes to,
it's like,
focus on you,
focus on,
like if there's things that people in general that you you should be and you're allowed to get
upset at things and voice your opinions on other things but to like say I'm going to prove a point
but doing this you're not you're not um my Chris thank you to everyone that has donated over
25 for everyone who donated less than 25 think no absolutely not that's not that's not true
uh if you put in the dollar if you're here supporting you're here supporting you're here supporting
it and said, I've gotten messages that were so kind and said, listen, I'm supporting you
every way. I will be here commenting and doing everything that I can. I just financially
can't do it right now. And that to me alone is, is a lot of support.
Some people who have mentioned that to me too and they couldn't do it, but they're trying to
share it out there and trying to get the word out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it's not,
it's that's, that's, I understand how that, how that goes, 100%. Um, is Snyderly,
Snyder cut is coming for sure. Uh, let's see. Miles Tyson.
I'm looking. So, so Christian, on trending, do you refer to YouTube or did you make a fake version of YouTube called MeTV?
No, I think what YouTube is, we'll be referring to for sure.
The only thing that I think that we're probably, I mean, I would say 95% have to change eventually is probably Saturday Live.
Yeah.
You know, unless Peacock picks it up or who, you know.
Hold off to that at that point.
Yeah, yeah.
Yesterday I saw your brief discussion on Ramayana has like,
40k views on that clips channel.
That's pretty crazy.
I'm going to do the out of the theater reaction when that comes out.
It's probably going to dwarf Godzilla.
Godzilla's at 300.
You know, yeah, that's pretty crazy.
I didn't know that.
Let me look at that right now and see if that's true with.
Maybe you should do your reaction to like RRR and.
Why would he lie?
Let's see.
He probably wouldn't.
You said.
Probably wouldn't.
Probably wouldn't.
He's a real scumbag.
right let's see i'm looking there are no of that kid let's see um got 5 000 on the clay face
confusion first reactions for the top score let's see let's see digital release godzilla review
massive losses other mommy transformers i don't i don't see it see he was lying
he was lying i don't see i don't see ramiano what the hell's he talking about um what the hell
you talking about i don't do we do a clip on romeo i don't know he's talking around i don't even see a clip
on ramiana who is it uh you're talking about ed come about what you know what you're talking about
i'm looking i'm trying to look say because maybe i did no yeah i don't i don't know what the
hell is it's like your text i don't know what the hell he's talking about i'm looking
And which channel?
No, I don't see anything.
I don't think we clip that out.
Okay.
So, next one.
Armiana.
Pimp's name Slick Back versus Big Ball's Cage Match.
Sure.
Why not?
What else?
I'm looking if there's any more.
Mike, if we miss Sunday, just post them again because I don't see him that we miss.
Are you starring anymore?
Trying to star what I see.
Yeah.
Okay, go you.
Star them all.
Let's say, let's do, do, do you.
Will younger actors,
be more of antagonist?
No, no, no.
Not antagonist.
Not at all.
We were actually very clear of that.
We didn't want to make like Gen Z the bad guys because that's not going to win you over
any crew.
We wanted to make sure that every generation was represented and every generation at their
point of view.
And you can decide who you feel you're on board with and who you're not.
You know, I think there's going to be Gen X people who are going to be, yeah, that's the way
I see things in other people.
You're these boomers, right?
And then there's going to be the Gen Z people like, that's exactly how I would handle that.
And be like, I don't know what the hell this kid's talking about.
So that's kind of the idea of what we wanted to do.
I was like when I read that, when I read the script, that was one of my favorite parts of it was that there was definitely a view from all angles.
And you got to see humor from both sides.
You kind of poke someone at yourself and other things.
Like it's kind of we poke fun around everybody.
Right.
Like you poke fun at yourselves and stuff.
Yeah.
I liked it.
100%.
Wiley Oaksin, super excited for trending.
Why?
Even the best.
Like this, this, now here's the perfect example.
There's two people, both Aiden, who's a member and a constant viewer and Wiley.
When Schmoan stuff was going on, right, they got passionate about it.
And I understand when you're running the thing, you're usually the one that people are going to throw tomatoes at when things aren't going ways.
And so Wiley and Aden threw some tomatoes at me, right, here and there.
But they both said during this thing and they're like, you know, it was what it was back then.
And let's move on.
I was like, yeah, let's move on.
And that's the whole part of this community that I love.
And it's like that that's a human thing.
Yes.
That's a human thing.
That happens.
We've done that with people in our lives that we,
that we know and that we are,
all the time.
Yeah.
That shouldn't happen.
Yeah, it's,
grudges don't help anybody out at all.
So,
so,
so I,
Wiley's been so involved and I love Wiley.
Wiley's the best.
So excited that it's all I want to hear you talk about more than,
so excited that it's all I want to hear you talk about.
more than the news love the show love the street fighter soundtrack the soundtrack is really good in
street fighter the problem is that i don't think that they're all i think that there's too many
songs that are not 1983 and came out after 93 and the movie so it's supposed to be placed in 93 um
but i appreciate that way look i'm i would love to do that where that's why i tell people that's why i'll
stay on and talk about it like if there's questions about the plot and things inside of it that i can
talk about that you want to hear about and other things i want to discuss that because ultimately that's what we a lot of us
want to do, right? We want to tell stories. We want to find creative stories that we like.
We like watching TV. We watch like movies. And now this is the idea of what I wanted to give
everybody was the idea of to be like to watch, go back and watch something like this.
Like, and all things go well, we do a season of this thing. And you guys watch and you enjoy it.
Oh, man, I remember when we were on that live stream with him and I asked him about this thing.
And he answered. It's like, I remember when he said that. It's an inside track that a lot of people
don't have to some of these things. And that's kind of what I hope to do with this. So I've been
trying. So put in as many questions as you want right now, guys. I'd love to talk about it and
I'd love to talk to you guys about it because I'd love to get your thoughts.
Johnny Petrieza, you're good people, Christian. Let's make our show. Thank you, Johnny, I'm trying.
Look at the picture of you in there. It's really good. I love that. Thank you, my man.
So, Sean McCabe, Christian, you get a chance to catch Crystal Lake. My cousin was one of the
gaffers on the production. I have, and I hear it's good, though, but my, my,
basically what I do now, Sean, and I actually love doing this because it's time that's
spend with my oldest what I like last night I was the last two nights I was was in the city for one
night to shit what was well fall in the city got home uh street fighter got home and both well at least
last the the street fighter night got home and watched carry episode two with my daughter right
last night got home after shooting with Sam and watched carry episode three right so we're watching
carry that's that's my show I can't and then I'm sleeping and then I'm sleeping and then I'm sleeping
They both drop the same time.
They're all binging.
I know.
Dude, I got, I had an invite to do a podcast.
That's a pretty good podcast, right?
It shoots at 11 o'clock at night, my time.
And I'm like, and I was going to be in the city for the night they wanted me.
I'm like, I can't do it.
There's no way that I can be on the train, get on there and then come back and do it.
And plus to be, and try to like, be quiet around the house.
They can't go to the studio.
Right.
So at 11 o'clock and I just can't do it.
And it's like, I'd love to, I wish, but, but yeah.
I will say I enjoy Crystal Lake.
I got to see all of it.
I haven't heard a negative thing.
It's fun.
Linda Cardnelly is great.
She's always great.
Wonderful in the role.
She's always great.
Okay, so thank you, Sean.
Mike, here's one of the questions.
If you could have picked one ACDC song for one character in our show, which one do you
pick for each character and what would fit PLD these personalities?
Oh my God.
Dude, that's a lot, Mike.
I would tell you, this is not really that question, but I will say this, that
thunderstruck, there was an idea for a show that I had.
that fit that.
And it was an opening,
it was thunderstruck and just because a tour of Godi used to come out to it sometimes, right?
Right.
But I had thought about,
I actually saw a Turugati fight at the Garden.
It was pretty great.
But it was basically this idea that I had put together in college.
And then I wrote it as like an HBO boxing kind of movie with this dominant heavyweight champion that came out.
And he fought to the thunderstruck.
in my head it was that this whole thing that went through
but that's how that's how I think about every time I think of ACD's
what was that one that was a I'm starring something oh
we'll get to it eventually page we got we got this in much respect
and Peeldy you are awesome humans need to evolve and grow keep going that's right
we're all going to do this together that's the whole point is that we're all
going to do it together rock star 100% okay so currently right now Peelda
the we are at 219 still at 647
Haven't haven't moved yet, but we got a week before we're going to do it.
We got to get to that 2.20 to I want to get those character things out there for people.
And people want that last trending shoes. Those are up there too.
Will trending have a PLD-based side character called DLP, if not, why not?
I think the closest one I would say is there is there is an engineer in there.
That's pretty great. I'll take that. Yeah.
De Murdoch, hey, Christian, I've been inactive for a while, but trying to catch up on replays when I can.
I'm 22 and I can't wait for training. I love that. I'm supported as much as I can. Seems fun-relatable.
It's going to be great. Thank you, D. Murdoch. And thank you for your support and thank you for the kind words.
And I'm super excited that you're going to be part of it. Thank you. And I look forward to talking to everybody about that's the other thing that's going to, once the campaign is over, the next stage of it is going to be like, hey, we just made a big announcement on cast.
on the on the Kickstarter thing if you're at that if you were at that tier you're gonna get this and then like holy crap we just announced we showed that today we did that can you believe that we that that happened on set today and this this this is that talking to like a group of like friends it's gonna feel like about what the day was like and you know it's it's gonna be pretty exciting absolutely yeah uh scott element for the marathon stream is there any chance we could catch up with old s en live crew rb3a sierra alex morzonia ryan jemal nielsen and beth may
Oh man, I haven't even thinking about the SNL, the SNL, the S-E-N-L-L-C-N-Live crew.
Have you talked to, how is Alex? I haven't talked to him too.
He's doing well from what I heard.
It's like for the great time, but yeah.
There's a possibility.
Possibly.
Genesis Gaming, another question regarding your Sam schedule.
Would you consider having her react to solo?
It's actually one of my favorite movies in spite of its lower popularity.
I think she'd enjoy seeing the origin.
I don't know.
Maybe eventually.
if we have like nothing going on,
then that might be one to show.
It just doesn't have anything to do with anything that we're watching right now.
Like we're going to watch Asoka.
I'm probably going to go outside of the Patterson
and kind of probably just watch the whole damn series with her.
The season one into season two,
I'll watch that with her.
And then we'll watch the new trilogy when Starfighter comes out.
Right.
But solo and it doesn't really relate in anything.
And maybe eventually, I don't know, maybe eventually.
Johnny Patrice, does your trending character have any likes
hobbies that you don't.
Music taste and movies. Yeah, I mean, I think I think a ton for sure.
I mean, the hobbies that, well, the hobbies he used to have was like heavy,
heavy drinking and other stuff too. And I was never a big, I mean, I wouldn't drink,
but I wouldn't, I didn't need it for certain things. He did.
And, and I think even gotten to the nose sauce every once in a while too back in the day.
He doesn't anymore, but he did. And as far as music taste and other things, similar tastes
in in music for sure but there's other things that he um they'll be they'll be that's kind of
come down into more of a breakdown i think this stuff that he does for sure too but yes i think
what happened to big balls versus ai it was funny you had a i cussing that could be part of the
next week on topic i think that if if joseph actually had his way i would be replaced by big balls
yes the told show you know what i'll tell you what i would do i'll tell you what joseph if we and this is a big
this is a big goal that's why there's no way this is going to have
I'll tell you what.
If we hit 225 by the end of this show, I will host a full show as big balls.
If we hit 225 by the end of this show, I will host an entire show as big balls.
Could you sustain that for the entire show?
Yeah, if I'd have to.
But we'd have 225, we'd have to have 225,000 within, you know, however long it takes us.
But if I hit 2.25, I will do an entire show as big balls.
That just reminds me of when Brett did a flirt and flouse on call to action for the whole interview we did with them.
Oh, yeah.
That, I mean, that was a little, that was he used to do that.
Those episodes, when he first did, if heard of them, plus, me that, that freaking music playing in the background.
I agree that was the first call to action, your wife watched.
I remember still getting your stand-up set.
Do we say members were going to get it?
We didn't.
We kind of hemmed and hot about it.
I think we had a, I think we had a,
a goal again to in order to do that for members.
I'm gonna hit it.
Yeah. Page.
Okay, 290 by Sunday, you have to watch, you have, you have to go have a water balloon fight.
Let's go with who?
My kids?
Like, who am I gonna have it with?
Sam.
You and Sam.
No, couldn't throw anything to get Sam.
Just yell at her.
He was, yeah, right?
No, I don't, I don't know.
I mean, but we'll, we'll see.
I mean, going into this final stretch is going to be interesting pages,
where we're going to go.
Mike D. Just finished 12 Monkeys started as my own show, but quickly became a show I couldn't watch it out my wife. Did you say you were interviewing Todd Stashwick? Well, we're supposed to interview both him and Terry Metallis, and I got to follow back up with Disney. We had Terry Metallis scheduled, by the way. He was going to come in at during why he was here at Comic Con. We were coordinating with Disney. It was kind of a done deal. The problem was that the place that I booked my studio at, you got to give them at least like a week or a week and a half to lock it down. Right. And it was only about a.
a day or two within the time and it was already booked out.
So we had to try to move them again. It didn't work.
So we're going to do a virtual thing, me and him.
And we have to, we should reach out to Todd Stashvix people again, too.
We should probably do that now.
You still have that?
Yeah.
If we can, I don't have that one.
You don't have that one?
I don't have to turn.
I got to forward that to you then.
Because we need, we need to follow up.
I mean, now is the time to do it.
He's great on the show, by the other show and I love him.
Yeah, absolutely great with this paladin.
Iosha Yomatsu, so excited for Sam's run through X-Men.
What's the planned release schedule?
Right now, this Monday, we're going to do, I don't know, just Tuesday.
We'll be first class.
Friday will be X-Men 2000.
And we're going to just go and release for her from there on.
So, yeah.
And then we will do Deadpool and Wolverine, Deadpool, Deadpool, Deadpool, 2, Deadpool,
Wolverine, and Logan again.
We'll be watching now that she's seen those things again.
So that's a fascinating to see after she has all the background.
Yeah, that's kind of the idea behind it.
Was Sam ever interesting like yourself, Christian?
Johnny, no, I don't believe so.
No.
How is Steph doing?
Will she come back on the channel in 2027?
Says Lennox.
I just spoke with Steph the other day.
She's doing well.
And yeah, I think we're going to try to,
she might be the only person I'll do virtual reactions with outside of it
because she's probably going to come back doing reaction side of it
because it's a little harder for her to do the live show.
But we'll be doing stuff with Steph.
D. Murdoch, I'm so happy.
I supported even if I couldn't be there live for the 10-hour stream.
I called Glimbson, it was legendary.
Hitting that 100,000 that fast was so dope,
it felt so cool to be part of something.
Thank you, D.
Yeah, that's kind of the idea, right?
And I think that that's ultimately what will happen
on that live stream for the second time,
is that we're going to say, okay, now this is that second live stream,
and now let's all do it again together.
Let's push us there.
Let's get to that.
Let's get to that cast and let's see what we can do.
All right, so again, 219, 647,
but we're going to have some boosts,
we're going to have some boosts.
You got it.
Let's do it.
Don't look like Big Ball's going to be.
to do a show but that's all right um okay moving on oh wait sorry let's do this one first
nicholas mire uh 10 jewels gold coin yes thank you there you know okay uh haskell
christian will you only do the shows as big balls after the Kickstarter has ended so people don't
pull back the pledges like that ass face the day you will only do the show is he suggests
right right right right right right right right right i see what you're saying i see you're saying yes
I would only do that after for sure.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
And that's kind of the idea.
I mean, that's, that's the problem with, with doing it that way is that, you know,
people can do things like that.
And it's like, all I'm saying is like if, for me, it's like, if you, if you can't
and you're not able to do it, I understand that.
Just we're really building here and we're all working together as a team.
So like it does, it is, it does kind of hurt us when people do that kind of thing.
Yeah.
It's, it just, it just hurts the cause of.
we're trying to do right now and we see you're doing it yeah john abutcheez our matthew
lillard or gary bucci an option for guests um probably not not this i mean gary busey
definitely not but matthewillard uh probably not for now lillard's great in care by the way i love
oh he's great and carey he's great blaine christian do you know sam moral and mark norman
well we had we had sam war on the show there probably might be drunk shoots in new york also
yeah it does it's used to the same place that i'd shoot my podcast um so i but it's like we're
a week away now at this point. Everybody's
booked their guests. Definitely talk
to Todd Sashwick about this Cancel Star Wars
video game. Oh, I will. For sure. I didn't even know
that was the thing. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
Sound very cool. It's like a sound. Yeah, he was not
did she, did Katie talk to him
about that when he was on her show? You know, I didn't
catch that episode. Oh, it's a good episode. You should watch
that one. I should. Yeah. She had him
and Terry Matalison.
That's not, that's ultimately, it's one of the reasons, too,
that I kind of started to almost dive into
12 monkeys because my brother was telling me about it for
so long. And then I saw them talking about it.
I'm like, all right, maybe he'll finally give this thing a shot.
I'm so glad that I did.
And I think it's one of the reasons that I enjoy Wanda Vision so much.
I mean, not Wanda Vision so much.
Yeah, because you can see his style in it, what he does.
Actually, I put that on my cue for sure.
I love the movie and I haven't, I missed the show when it came out.
Oh, you would love it.
It's right up your alley.
Yeah, what was Ed talking about with that clip?
Not a clue.
I still don't know what the hell he was talking about.
It's a lying bastard.
I know.
Seriously.
it's like it but i'm trying i'm gonna look at the clips channel right now again i got to put up i missed
the vault the vault episode yesterday oh boy the problem with it too um vault right now is at
almost 2100 subscribers which is nice like that i'm looking i'm gonna see right now i'm gonna do
this uh palm again if i do popular popular clips going and i'm looking i'm looking now you said
5,000 so i'm gonna go down a 5,000 let's say that's a 5,000 views he said or do you say 5, 5,000
I thought he's like 40,000.
40,000 did he say?
I thought that's what he said.
I could be wrong.
I mean,
I'd scroll up.
What he said.
That's right.
Superman reactions out.
No.
It's full of shit.
Oh, shit.
I don't know he's talking about.
Ed,
what are you talking about?
Anyway,
let's go the next one.
Okay,
is that it?
That the last one?
Still, nothing?
Oh, are Winston Nekers?
It's going to react to conjuring to.
Did the first?
No, it didn't eat shit.
so I just didn't say it,
chip, but it didn't do well. Not enough
for the money I had to spend
on it to do it. Not enough people watch it.
Yeah. Let's see. Next,
is that all?
There's a couple more coming in.
Okay. I figure that one.
All right. Christian, is your
trending character smoke weed? Is there a funny
stoner character in the show? He definitely
does not. Has he ever? Yeah, definitely.
But definitely, he's trying to be as clean as he can
right now. But he doesn't, and is there
a funny stoner character? There's definitely
in the series, yes. And
the show not necessarily in the first episode no uh let's see is that is that everything fielding
there's a few questions how was the filming how was the behind the scenes for our show and since you
mike you know we haven't shot it yet right we got like we have to do the we got to do the pilot
first so we like we haven't shot the show yet the show doesn't the kickstarter isn't even over
yet until next week so um since you saw street fighter how do you rank each video game movie that came out so
Oh, man, that's a tough.
That's a tougher release, Mike.
That's outside of the realm of what we're talking about here today.
But, yeah, I have to, I have to dive into that.
All right.
We got anything else?
I love it.
Paul Walter, Howse will play in PLD.
Yeah.
I'd love it.
Sure.
Yeah, good.
Hasco, look at my history and I see I played a clip from your show from then Campion's
Romano talk, which is now 60.
Then another clip from your show, my, wait.
He confused you.
Oh, oh, okay.
Back to back.
Okay. So, okay.
Ramayon. Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. So I think, I do think that that reaction's going to do well, though. I do. I do too. Yeah, I do too. Let's see. I'm still looking. Nothing else, Pieldy? Not that I saw. Okay. Oh, wait, here go. There's one. There's one. There's one. All right. How many drafts did you do for sure? Oh, man. Probably a lot.
You should send me the most current one. I think I have an older, much older one now.
Well, Martine just sent the newest one to us, and I haven't really sent that one out. I think there's probably,
I mean, there's at least seven, I think, right?
At least.
That sounds about right.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Well, cool.
I'm curious about the stretch goals between now and the 23rd.
Will there being updates?
Only because I think having, yeah, we really need to put those up there.
Yeah.
Thank you.
So let me put this up there.
Let me see.
Hold on, hold on and put this here.
Can we do this today and work on what's work on?
is you know
okay
all right
let's say
I'm going to look right here
again we're at 219
646
52
so thank you for that
619 6552
perfect
hey
$5 is $5
perfect
All right
let's say
what would you laugh at
would you
who would you
put I think
P-L-D, what are you talking about me?
What are you doing?
All right, guys, thank you so much for being here.
And I really appreciate that.
Everything that we did here today with both Winston, PLD,
Luke, and everybody.
So here's another one. Fuzzy Bubbles Part 2.
How much did the first draft?
Change to the final one?
Oh, change the final one?
I'm guessing.
I mean, well, the very first one,
that well there's two two answers to that question because the very first draft means you look at if you go back to the old school what it was when it was sex communication it was like it was a different script that was a 52 minute drama so that that changed them and none of that none of what was in there is is in this and characters are pretty much different to everything about it so i don't so as far as like actual trending um the first one i i wrote this kind of you know word vomit draft just so martini could
then punch up stuff and do things.
And that there's barely anything in there that was,
it's just a matter of, okay, structure, structure,
structure changed things around.
So it changed dramatically, I guess is the answer for sure.
Yeah.
Anything else pop in there or no?
I think that's about another one.
Oh, yeah, we both didn't say.
Starting Monday, I think you should have a graphic that marks the progress
that may encourage people to start donating.
Yeah, I want to do that too.
Keep getting this.
like, let's see, I keep getting on this show, too, doing on this show.
I know.
Okay, let's see next one.
Soundway, it's a great show.
You'll get the odd guvoneer most you want to see.
I know.
Yeah, and it's like that, that's the thing.
I appreciate the majority of it.
People are really, yeah.
So Josh Stix, do you have an actor and actress that you want to play Martinez characters
kid in the show?
I mean, I definitely have my suggestions, right?
Like ideas and that's, that's what I can't wait to do.
Like I want, I'm really looking forward to the home stretch here, getting to that spot that we get to the, the best version of the show that we can get, put in the most and the bells and the whistles on it and really beef it up to go after the people that we want.
And then once we hit that, I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to going over those lists with Wendy and saying, hey, this person, and hearing her.
I mean, there's people I don't even have, she knows everybody.
And I don't even know in my mind
like some of the things.
She's like, well, what about this person?
People I don't even understand.
So yeah, that's, so Craig, we're going to,
we're going to launch Monday with new graphics and stretch goals.
Nice.
So, yeah.
Okay.
That might be it.
Okay.
Okay.
All right, guys, thank you.
Appreciate it.
Make sure you click, like, comment, subscribe, check us on Spotify.
If you haven't gone to the clips channel,
Apparently, Ed hasn't gone to the Clips channel in a while to check out the Clips channel.
And we'll be back on Monday.
Make sure you check out the Snyder Cut part two.
That's about to drop in just a little bit.
Appreciate you guys.
Oh, Bobby Lewis for people to continue donating after the Kickstarter closes.
That'll have to be discussed.
But we'll probably have an announcement on that next week.
We have to see how that works with Kickstarter.
But there's some possibility.
All right.
You guys rule.
appreciate it and we'll see you all on the flip side
bye everybody
bye
did you shit in there
