Starting point is 00:00:00 We are back and another round of the Odyssey. Reactions are out, including yours truly. Oh man, everybody's on the same page of this movie. No discourse at all. It's fucking weird. Anyway, we got that. Spaceballs too, already taking shots to Manilaurean and Grogo. Got Avengers Doomsday News, a lot of other stuff.
Starting point is 00:00:24 But who gives the shit about any of that? Roxy Stryor's back. That's all I care about. so we'll talk about that and more where she's been everybody said oh she's gone no here anymore shouldn't like christian anymore that's wrong with everybody all right here we go did you shit in there what's going on everybody welcome back to the show and it is the tuesday show and the tuesday show it's been fun got mike call here he is there i am michael kalanowski but mike hasn't been the same since the roxinator hasn't been here
Starting point is 00:01:08 What's up? I know. It's just different. Well, she's Hi. Birthday. They said I didn't like you. No, it's your birthday. Yesterday. Yes, I missed it. And so it's. Who didn't miss it, Rocks? Who didn't miss it? You know what? Everybody missed it. I had the worst, except for Mike.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I had such a rough birthday. I'm sorry. It was probably my first rough birthday ever. So that's okay. Here I am. Well, happy belated. Thank you. and yesterday was pretty crazy for me and we'll get into it for a lot of different reasons, but I shouldn't, no, no excuse, it should definitely text you. I'm not, I'm, you know how bad. No, you are, I'm the worst.
Starting point is 00:01:49 You can say, my worries about. Because you know that it has nothing to do with anything except I'm terrible at it. Like, I'm really bad at it. Like, if it wasn't for the fact that, you know, my wife is the one that I really pay attention to the most because I don't want to get in trouble. Yeah. Yeah. And your two knows. Anyway. Yeah, anyway.
Starting point is 00:02:07 So, well, listen, so we are glad to have you back. We missed you. Yesterday was busy, Roxy, for me. Yeah, I went to see The Odyssey also. You went yesterday? Oh, good. Yeah, we'll talk about that. But right before you on, I did an interview.
Starting point is 00:02:22 With who? Well, I didn't say anything yet because I figured, hold on. Okay, everybody. So I've been kind of cryptic about my guest. I said, listen, I'm going to see the Odyssey, and I had to do an interview first. And I wanted to make sure that I referred. that Mike Kalanowski's on the show and right now he's watching it so here's our guest
Starting point is 00:02:42 today and Mike Kalinowski you know you're the first person you're the first person no that's not true the whole audience now and so he's excited that you're coming in Mike was um the first we still have played that moment I don't know if you saw the short that we did where you made him call you mommy and he absolutely it's it's incredible see and like I know you right now you curse me I don't give a shit I'll talk to you about a little bit I got I got work to you motherfucker you motherfucker how did that happen
Starting point is 00:03:16 what the fuck right I was like there you go just for you you son of a bitch it's hilarious I would come out to New York
Starting point is 00:03:26 for that you fuck talk you fucker we talked about you know what's funny is that there's two things that I did that you should be prepared for oh Christ I threw you under the bus
Starting point is 00:03:35 for one moment of course but I also but I also gave you really, I gave you a ton of compliments. All right. I don't know about that, but I did. I promise you. I gave a ton of compliments and I complimented your, your, your woman as well. Um, but I, I gave, uh, you, but I definitely Roxy told her about the AI Sluts moment.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Hmm. How he like, how was the interview? I mean, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's in San Francisco, right? That's her home base, I think. It's all Ed. At Haskell? Yeah. He said, a, she said, a, fan of, she's, she said, a, found out that Penny's in me in New York. So, they had the dates.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And I was like, I'm going into the Odyssey. I wonder if she's even in around at that same time. Yeah. Reached out to the PR. She was. And I said, hey,
Starting point is 00:04:21 you know, love to talk to some movies with her. I said to her, I was like, do you, have you watched the obsession, which at the time she hadn't? She watched it on the,
Starting point is 00:04:29 on the plane. Yeah. And so we talked about that. We talked about another trilogy that she had recommended. We talked about TV. And, you know, Did you not shoot it at your studio? Where were you?
Starting point is 00:04:41 No, it was in the city. You know, it's the one that I did from, um, it's the one that I did from, uh, what is it? Um, the Tokyo pop. We see Tokyo pop. K pop.
Starting point is 00:04:52 And, uh, Jolila White. Yeah. And Renzi, you know, the, the Gotham studios. They're great. Great over there. You know what you need. You need a bunch of clipouts. I'm,
Starting point is 00:05:01 don't worry. I really thought about it. Um, so it's fantastic, man. It was great. It was great. And it was, and she's, she's just cool as fuck. She's, beautiful in the photo.
Starting point is 00:05:11 She's cute girl. Yeah, she's, and she's just, but she's really nice. You know, she's just really nice. And she was just like, we had a good conversation in general.
Starting point is 00:05:21 We talked a little over an hour. I went, go to see, then I rushed over to see the Odyssey after that. And, and now is it yet. I, I'm shocked.
Starting point is 00:05:31 It's such a sad state of the world that we live. The fact, there's like the group now that's going after Nolan. It's so weird. It's so strange. It is. I was kind of, you know, watching, you know, me on social media, whatnot. But I'm just, I was, I wanted to go into this discourse, but I can go into it here with you guys. But like, what the fuck? It's weird with this world. This one's weird. This one's weird. This one's weird because like I, I, I've kind of like not been paying attention. No should you. Nor should you. The only reason I did, it all went to my spam anyway, you know, it's immune. But it's, you know, the, the M&M eight mile thing where you just like, you can, you know before they wrote it. How much is he paying? you paid shill, Shill,
Starting point is 00:06:09 Shill, on a, I didn't know Nolan movie had shills. I guess Nolan movie or shills too. But what are people upset about?
Starting point is 00:06:15 Is it, well, what are they, what they're getting mad about? In general, is something that I'm so curious when they see it if they're going to feel like idiots
Starting point is 00:06:24 because they're like, you know, they're mad at that, that Elliot Pages is playing Achilles. He isn't. Yeah, I know. Oh, I saw that a while ago. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Oh, Ellen and Troy, the whole movie is going to be, she's barely in it. it's it's about Matt dame the whole time it's about a dissis the whole time but then they're like oh there's no Greeks in it there's no fucking Greeks in it you're just like
Starting point is 00:06:49 come on and like but then what I hate is they're comparing it they'll use Troy the original like you know Brad Pitt's movie but like there's no fucking Greeks in that movie either I know fucking Brad Pitt and Brian Cox I know fucking assholes Nolan for the casting that's what's going on that's one of the things you know same thing the woke thing
Starting point is 00:07:05 and it's like look I think I I think that sometimes, a lot of times, I think studios can, can ruin movies with agenda. I think that that is true sometimes. I think it happens. This is not the case. This movie, this movie's awesome. It's awesome. Start to finish.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Epic masterpiece. It is awesome. And there was a part, and I said it in my, I'm going to say to my review is that there was a second that's happening. And Roxy, you know, we could talk offline about it. There's a moment. I'm like, oh, no, am I getting bored? And then within seconds, I was like, no, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:07:38 It makes a lot of sense of what's going on. I can't possibly even know where you're thinking of because that never crossed. Yeah, it was a split second. It was a split second. And I said, I'm not. I'm not. Because it was like there was a, this part that's happening. And another thing I said that someone's like, I don't think it all, I don't learn me.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And I said, it's like, wait, what? I don't think I know, you know what that word means because I said it felt biblical at times, right? Clearly it's not. I said that when I walked out too. I said, clearly it's not biblical. It's a fucking made up story, but I'm saying it felt biblical. It biblical is like larger than life. That's what I thought.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I said that too. It felt like this could have been part. Clearly it's not, but it felt like it was, you know, like those types of stories in the chapters that they told. And it just was like, it was a spectacle. But like, you know, there's just like for some reason. I hate how movies have just been politicized so much. And you're like, it's, it's so, this one, this one's stupid. But there's other things that, like,
Starting point is 00:08:37 and they're, there's, they're not going to win this battle this time. Like with Supergirl, I don't think it was a good movie. You guys disagree. I just don't think it was good. I didn't think you,
Starting point is 00:08:46 no, no, hold on. What? You're saying it's not a good movie. Like, I don't, you don't think, you don't think it's the worst,
Starting point is 00:08:51 I'm not a champion of that movie. But it's not the, but we agree with it's not the worst superhero movie ever made, but it's not, but it was forgetable. It's forgetable at best. And so, but,
Starting point is 00:09:00 but, but, and that's cool. But not like I loved Odyssey. Right. But my point is that with Supergirl, you can look and go, see, nobody really cared to see that movie. And I'm going to go, you're right. You were right before the box office came out and you're right after the box office came out.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Nobody really cared to see that movie. There are other movies you can, you can, you know, say, this is going to bomb. There's agenda. There's this. This will not work for you. This movie is going to make so much money. And this movie is going to continue to like this little, this is this is the, this is the, the definition of the pocket that is going to try hard that they don't realize how loud the
Starting point is 00:09:39 internet can get but it won't reach who you want it to reach because there for example i took my cousin to get people to boycott the movie yeah so stupid i took my i took my cousin to see this movie and um and he's you know he's not in the he he's the most locked in to the movie space and social media out of maybe anyone in my circle but still not enough to know anything what really is going on with not to deter him but my favorite again like I said rocks I saw so many different times where people were saying like the the normal comment like every other one would be like how much you got paid for this one I wrote back I finally wrote back to someone out of Mike Kalinowski's playbook and I said you are you are paying me you imbecile when you click on this because you because that's my
Starting point is 00:10:22 ad sense you are paying me you stupid idiot because like nonetheless there are a lot and why doesn't anybody call me a hater when it comes to evil dead the latest evil dead I didn't like it I thought it stunk everyone else getting 92% I thought it stunk but I'm not what happened there I'm not an evil dead show what happened
Starting point is 00:10:44 I guess it's only selected movies when the agenda when the agenda doesn't fit it right now so do you think they're real 100% they are like who are these people listen I think what happens look I even see people it happens to me every day of my life.
Starting point is 00:11:02 They're real. I'm curious who, who are that? Like, what's their actual? Like, where do they live? What's, what kind of jobs do they work?
Starting point is 00:11:10 What age are they? Like, who are they? They are watching us right now because when I'll do stuff like, I'm fucking hard off show of the shit you say. And I was like, well, thanks for watching the show and support. Yeah, but try to answer my,
Starting point is 00:11:21 I'm curious about my questions. Like, who do we think these people are? Like, obviously they're miserable. They're miserable. They're miserable. But where are that? They're the people that when you're in line at a fast food place
Starting point is 00:11:33 and they've got those freestyle soda machines that don't know which button to push and how to work the machine. That's who they are. And you're behind them like, I just want to fucking Diet Coke. That's who they are. I will say sometimes that it's not bad.
Starting point is 00:11:47 If you're making, if you're like bucking against the system and you're saying, look, I don't like the way things are happening in certain movies or other things. It's okay to express your voice. I think that's fine. But like when it becomes predictable and when it becomes like, okay, look, you've been talking so long about how you don't want to see this movie and you didn't like the casting. Let me guess. A, anyone who sees it is a paid chill or they got paid money for this or they don't.
Starting point is 00:12:14 If you didn't see the movie. Now look, if you go and you see the movie and you still feel like, I don't know, people will come back and say, I don't know what you're talking about. I saw this movie. You know, you're not credible anymore because I thought it was boring. And as much as I'm going to agree with you, that's fine. You saw the movie. you have you now have you've got you can see it but now to just say oh your opinion you did this you do that
Starting point is 00:12:34 because of the fact that it didn't have the opinion that lined up to you and then there's another channel that did line up to the way your political views saw you haven't seen the movie still but you knew it oh you knew that they were going to hate the movie so now you love their channel even more so that's where you should go at your home yeah just don't come here why i think because i've taken the last couple of weeks I mean, I still was filming while I was back east, but I just really haven't been involved much. It's like, what a miserable way to live your life. There's so many beautiful things out there to love. And if you don't like something, maybe just don't watch it.
Starting point is 00:13:12 If you know that something's not going to be for you, like I just, I think it's such a weird energy. Yeah. Even around Supergirl, around the Odyssey, around any of these things. Like, if something isn't for you, okay. Yeah, well, my question is this. And here's the question that I have in general. Whether you're making videos about this or whether you're just someone who's just, you know, commenting and really thinking this movie's going to bomb because the agenda and this
Starting point is 00:13:40 or whatever you might think and you haven't seen it. My question for you is this. If it opens up with a massive weekend and if it winds up being very successful, are you a going to tweet out and say, okay, look, I saw it? And let's say you saw it. And you're, you were wrong about what you thought about the movie. are you actually going to say it if you're making a video about it and you end up really liking it are actually going to say it or you don't want to piss off your audience who's who who knows
Starting point is 00:14:06 that you're supposed to hate it can no what's going to happen harluff yeah what's going to happen is is the narrative am i the narrative the narrative will shift like it did with superman it's going to bomb terrible so they come out like oh that would be inflated the numbers those numbers really weren't true like the narrative shifts to fit whatever they want so this is going to come out and make a billion and a half dollar like, no, well, it didn't even break even because truly with the marketing that, you know, people didn't show up.
Starting point is 00:14:33 And like, the narrative always shifts and the goalposts always move. And then it's on to the next big thing. Like, it's just like, it's like, to your point, like there's those communities and that's what they thrive in. Like, yeah. Like, but this is, but let me show you, let me show you how I wish most people in the world would be on the internet. Like this.
Starting point is 00:14:55 I disagree with what with the last. half of the films he's reviewed. There's two things about this. He's here. He's here having this conversation. And he said, I disagree with Harlov at least at half of the films he's reviewed, but we all enjoy films differently. That's it. That's it. We probably would have a discussion and talk about it. Well, I didn't like that thing. I don't like that. Why? And it's so funny is like my favorite is everyone freaking out about Lapita. She's in the movie. You're like, what, Roxy, 10 minutes? I don't want to say because of what they do. But I thought
Starting point is 00:15:27 I thought Lupita was very impactful in the movie, I'll say. And also happen to think that, and I don't know how anybody can disagree, Lupita's like so stupidly talented. Yeah. And she's gorgeous. And Helen and Troy is supposed to be gorgeous. So she's gorgeous.
Starting point is 00:15:46 I mean, it's weird. She's gorgeous. It's very odd. Unrelated and related, a little inside baseball question for you, Christian. If you were to tell you, text Alonzo D'Liraldi right now and say, who is in your row talking to you at the screening?
Starting point is 00:16:05 Would he or would he not know it was me? And the answer is he would not. Did you talk to him though? Yes, yes, I did. Okay, good. He's a sweetheart. No, he's so nice. He just still doesn't know who I am.
Starting point is 00:16:18 And it is unbelievable. I don't want him to anymore. No, no. And he was lovely to me. So this is, I'm going to tell you our exact interaction. Yeah. So I'm with DJ for the screening. We walk up and DJ happened to be with you and me, Christian, the last time that you introduced me to Alonzo.
Starting point is 00:16:37 I remember. This is my friend, Roxy. We go up to the top row and the seats that DJ likes, you know, the top left. And it's in the row a couple seats down from Alonzo. And I go to sit there. I said, oh, are these taken? in and he said, and he, and some, nobody said anything. And then I was like, can we have these seats?
Starting point is 00:16:59 And a lot of it looks at me and said, sure. And I made a joke. And I said, oh, thank you, keeper of the seats. Yeah. And then he giggled and said, sorry, I have to pee. I really have to pee. And I said, no worries. And then he goes to pee.
Starting point is 00:17:14 And then he comes back. And I was like, still in the seats. Keeper of the seats. He's like, good for you. And I just, and he's funny. and he's witty and he's kind and he has no idea who I am absolutely hilarious he's one he's but remember he told you that he does that all the time everybody he has no idea no nonetheless I want to read who's saying next to me was gray Drake and then um she moved and I was like
Starting point is 00:17:40 maybe I think I'm okay I've never wanted to tell you that but now you know well no one's gonna accuse Alonzo Dorald I have being uh with the Tom Cruise school of charisma then because Tom Cruise would have not forgotten Eeroxie he would have not forgotten Euroxy he would remember everything you talked about and said, hey, can I send you? And he would have sent you a coconut cake for your birthday. It was just like nobody knows who I am. It's my birthday. Not only they not know it's my birthday, nobody can't the fuck about me.
Starting point is 00:18:07 What about, what about your dude? Yeah. Yeah. No, no, he's here. He, we were traveling. So he, but he remembered your birthday, right? Yeah, he, he remembered it. Hopefully we did something this weekend or something.
Starting point is 00:18:19 That's really, that's really all that matters. All right, listen. I want to go to. some of these things here, because the second wave came out. First wave was, you know, as Mike and I talk about it, but it was a little different this time around, even though the influencers did see the movie, contrary to what the report was.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I think they meant, didn't they mean like the people that we make fun, I make fun of on the show, like they didn't get it. It wasn't just them. They brought a whole, the initial wave were people who were interviewing influencers critics. So there was a wave of, of everybody in the first one. Different than...
Starting point is 00:18:55 There were two screenings, right? It was TikTok and YouTube, right? I think so, yeah. But a group of movie critics saw Christopher Nolan's Odyssey last week. They posted impressions of the film. All were unformally positive. Now we are around two, just a few days ahead of the Odyssey's official premiere this weekend. As a new invite-only-only-review-husbanded another host of online takes, which are for the press.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Well, guess what? Like, the first batch, they are glowing. Not just glowing. Some of the over-the-top. The Odyssey is an experience. maybe the experience of 2026. No one has crafted something monumental. It's an impressive spectacle. The performances are fantastic. If you with them are nomination locks, 100%. Stephen Ford, The Odyssey is a kind of movie where you find yourself completely forgetting.
Starting point is 00:19:34 You're watching a movie. In fact, it felt like I was dreaming. Yes, a mythical nightmare that blends elements from all Nolan's films. Very well said. So lucky to see this in theaters. I'm in all this movie exists. Gene Park, I'm absolutely speechless. What an experience. Edward Douglas. Going to struggle to give the Odyssey more than a mixed review because it suffers from many issues, including lighting, didn't see that, pacing, didn't see it. Look, this is his opinion. But lighting. No, I didn't see that at all. And there was one part that I know what he's talking about, but that was, it was intentional. And a muddy sound
Starting point is 00:20:03 mix that made it tough to understand anything or anyone. Best parts were the ones involving the Circe and the Cyclops. That is, those, that was incredible. The Cyclops stuff was incredible. There is, of course, still the-sercy stuff I thought was yes, yes, agreed. This movie plays like a horror film at times. There is, of course, still the frequent skepticism on social media that anyone invited to an early soon will be biased towards liking the screen film this is ignores the countless times it happens with every single movie that is screen for press where those films range in scores from zero percent to 100 percent on tomato scale it doesn't make sense that this is some sort of cabal put in place by universal to artificially boost the film's hype line it's this is crazy it's so crazy anyway I would brace for low review bombed user scores in the odyssey however as with the online discourse that has spawned about its cast a minority actor the let's faithfulness the source source material. Things are obviously heading in that direction. Rotten Tomatoes is probably going to be pretty big for critics. We'll see what the audience does. Next question's box office. It seems like a reach at Nolan can top his Batman movies,
Starting point is 00:21:05 but the media comparison to Oppenheimer, which grossed 975, that of course critics are already seeing Odyssey is a serious contender for a slew of them. And Oppenheimer won Best Picture, Director, Best Actor, Supporting Actor. We'll see how the Odyssey stacks up. You know, we'll go to a couple of those because Roxy and I have seen it. So, Roxy, I mean, you kind of have hinted to it, but you loved this movie, right? Yeah, it was perfect. I mean, like, I, when I'm hearing critiques about the lighting, I'm so baffled because to me this was like visually the most unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:21:33 I do understand the critique about the audio. I went a couple times 70 millimeter IMAX and I don't think I, anything I needed to hear was missable at all. But there was like some choices that were made that might not necessarily be for people with like, like not muddled audio but just kind of like part of the vibe is what people are speaking and sometimes it's just like lost in conversation but I mean with the lighting with the the story the performances I just I think that this is going to be a lot of people's a lot of people I think are going to say this is Christopher Nolan's best movie and I think I think that that's a fair assessment
Starting point is 00:22:12 like yeah I mean look I want to see it again for recency bias I want to see it again am I yeah I think I would put it somewhere I would have to see it again in order to Do you really get what he said there? I've learned to read his lips because he's muted so often. That was good. I'm sorry. Roxy, you could read my lips?
Starting point is 00:22:38 Wow, that was good. I love that. I'm sorry, guys. That's awesome, Roxy. That's awesome, Roxy. That's fucking moxie for you. I know, Harleff, I said, take the Batman trilogy out.
Starting point is 00:22:52 what's Nolan's best? Or without Oppenheimer or don't, I mean, or don't put Odyssey in it yet. Where are you? I much preferred this to Oppenheimer. I know that. Me too. I would rank it.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I would rank it. I love Oppenheimer. I love Oppenheimer, but I would rank it over Oppenheimer. Do you not like a Nolan movie, Christian? Don't like. Not one I don't like. It's not like. This is two that I would put in the bottom tier.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I would put Tenet and, and insomnia. I probably put Tenet at the bottom. I still don't understand Tenant, but I love the movie because when I go to a movie of his... You know, one of the things I've been doing a lot of lately with the gym,

Starting point is 00:25:47 Really happy that Kachava is on the show. matter what the subject matter is, I know I'm going to be engrossed. But what are you ranking it over is my, is the question you just asked. Oh, I don't know. Like, I'm not a fan of Oppenheimer, but I, like, it's like June for me. Completely understand them. I love Oppenheimer. Um, but I still, for me, my, my top tier, it's going to be very hard to beat my top movie.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I don't think. But it is it. It's inception. Inception is my favorite. Inception is so good. I put Tenet down low as well. My least favorite of his popular movies is interstellar, which I struggle with. at time.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Really? There's not a movie of his that I hate. There's just great to good. Like none of his movies are not at one. No bombs yet. No stinker. But this is really, this is definitely a top tier film of his. Technically speaking, like in terms of, if we're not just saying our favorites, if we're saying his best, I do just think it would be very hard to argue that he has a movie that is better than this.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I mean, there's going to be, look, this is the other thing as far as what they were hinting at in that article. I do think we're seeing nominations. I think we're seeing nominations for Best Picture, for sure. I think we're seeing nominations for Matt Damon, 100% as Odysseus. Yeah, so go through the entire list. So best picture, I'm with you. Matt Damon, no shit. What else do you think is getting it on? I'll tell you who's got an outside shot that I had no idea, A, that he was in the movie. Are you going to say John? No, no, no, he was John Bernthal? No, Legosama. John Leguizamo was really good. He was really, really good. But no, I know you're going to say.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Who? Anne Hathaway. No. Really? No, because I knew Ann Hathaway. People are saying her. They're saying she's got a shot to get nominated 100%. Yeah, she was really, she was solid as well.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Should we stop guessing or should we keep guessing? You can keep guessing because I, look, I didn't even know this person was in the movie. And Corey Hawkins. No. Until you just said Corey Hawkins, I didn't even realize that was him until just now. And now it makes sense. Dr. Drey, baby. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Now, Travis Scott. No, who wasn't as terrible as I thought he was going to be. So I think that Hamish Patel was absolutely amazing. And I've always been like, yeah, Hamish is really good. He's fine. This is his best performance, best work he's ever done. He was incredible in this movie. This is Tom Holland's best work that I've seen as well.
Starting point is 00:28:12 I think that he has a good shot at getting nominated. I think so. I don't know. I do think so. Okay. We're supporting? for supporting, I don't know. I think we have to see what other movies come out to see if there's other
Starting point is 00:28:27 strong rules, but I think Anne Hathaway is a possibility, as Mike said, I think Matt Damon is a lock. I think Matt Damon is a lock. You know who I think should be nominated is, I don't know, does everybody know who everybody is playing or does that not? I think that's out there. Is it secret? Don't spoil it.
Starting point is 00:28:45 I'm not going to. I'm going to check. Oh, yeah, it's on IMDB. Samantha Morton, I think for sure. Oh, someone said, Rock, did you guys? I don't know that she's going to, but because she's good. She's not. I thought she was.
Starting point is 00:28:59 She's terrifying. She's phenomenal. Yeah, yeah. Did you hear the article on her? Like they were saying that Nolan said only twice in his career where they stopped filming a scene and the crew applauded was her and then Heath Ledger with the Joker. Like they said they were mesmerized by her on set. I thought that she was so.
Starting point is 00:29:18 fucking good like yeah she put on such a she's a it's a it's her name is her credit listed she she's uh oh i forgot but i think a credits listed it's not a surprise her character you know what not a witch right she's a this this person abh i want you to get in touch with pldd right now and he's going to send you the streamer link come in here and and show your face and let's have a conversation i'm tired of this so pl d send what does this PR mean yeah again it's is someone, again, who's having the conversation about, oh, because my team says I'm not supposed to like it. So here's people who like it. So reach out to PLD or PLD, reach out this person. We're going to send you the streamer or link. And I want you to actually have an on-camera debate right now
Starting point is 00:30:02 and have a conversation about what you're saying and talk about it as a human being. See if you're capable of doing it. Maybe you are. So he's going to send you a link. Come on it. There is, there's not one actor that I felt was miscast in this. Do you, Christian, Do you know who Samantha Morton is? No. This is going to blow your mind right now. In Minority Report, that's the pre-cala. She's the ball girl.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Oh, is it really? Oh, wow. Isn't that amazing? I mean, you've seen her in a million other things, but that's like what I think of her perform. She's just really, yeah, she was so good. Everybody is excellent in this. I think Zendaya was really good in this as well.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Really. Very natural. She's very natural. She did what she was supposed to do. Yep. Everybody did what they were supposed to do. And, you know, the cinematography you were probably getting nominated for sure.
Starting point is 00:30:54 I thought Hans Zimmer's score was incredible. So, um, wait a second. Isn't it? Oh, isn't it? Gorensen? Oh, is it Gorensen? I thought it was, I thought it was Zimmer. Maybe you're right.
Starting point is 00:31:05 I think it's Ludwig. Okay, well, it was, well, Ludwig did great. I think, yeah, that's, that's Nolan's new go-to. No, he hasn't used him before. Has he? Ludwig? What did he use him for him?
Starting point is 00:31:16 what did he use them for? The last couple of things, right? I think he's used one of the last few things. Yeah. I think so. I think 10 is too. You know what's amazing is that Christopher Nolan shares the writer's credit with Homer. Yeah, you're 100% right.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Oh, no, I think so. I want to see something, Rocks. This is going to be crazy. I don't know if it's true, but I need to check something. Okay, check it for me. I'm checking it for you. I think that this movie is a big legitimate contender for best picture. I don't know what else.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Yeah. Like who knows what's coming, but. There's other things that are, look, Tom Cruise's new movie has chance if it's really good. There's a lot of things that are in the pipeline. This is a one, though. I mean, June 3 is a chance. I'm not saying that this is a lot. I'm just saying, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Project Hill Mary will probably get, Project Hill Mary will probably get nominated. And I love Project Tale Mary, but I think that if 2026 ends and we go to the Oscars and what wins best picture is The Odyssey, I will say out loud, that's a great winner for an Oscar movie for the year. Like, it's so good. And I'm not sure for typing it because I think it's really this good. You know how we're all three talking about this film and you guys have seen it and are raving about it. I'm excited for it. And we're, you know, the conversation around whatever it is, none of this was like this with. um,
Starting point is 00:32:44 Oppenheimer. People weren't going shills. PR for Opinheim. Well, it started with, it started with the casting and it started. And is it, but again,
Starting point is 00:32:54 is it, it's like, it's this stupid war. People were like that for Barbie though, Mike. Were they? Yeah. Not as bad as this.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Jill. Not as bad as this. Maybe because I'm a girl. Maybe. Probably. Um, but nonetheless, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Um, the, the movie itself is going to, and look, we're going to find out next week. I'm very curious to see if it has, like, because it's tracking and doing between 120 to, you know, 150 opening weekend domestically. What do you think this makes all things said and done? 850 mil.
Starting point is 00:33:25 You don't think that this is going to make a billion dollars? I think it's got a good shot, but you're asking me what I think it's going to probably want, 850. And people, and that's Mike, that's probably where the narrative will go. Well, didn't make as much as Oppenheimer. Oh, didn't make a billion. Oh, did it make a billion. Nine, nine something. Michael just passed it.
Starting point is 00:33:42 And when you look at it, it's like. It's a book. It's a history book. It's not the latest superhero IP. It's a history book. It's Nolan, though, the power of Nolan. It's the power of Nolan. You know what I'm also curious about. I'm curious about this is something I wish.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Well, if we get this, the link from this guy, too, I'm curious to what is that's something for him. Did he see Oppenheimer? Did he like Oppenheimer? What was his issue with Hopenheimer? Did you find it boring? You know, like that's a sense of thing. Here's something I was found very interesting because I am one of, Roxy and I have access to one of the true
Starting point is 00:34:15 70mm imaxes in our area. It's only, I think like 40 theaters that it's the way you can truly see it in the country or whatever. It's less than that. But the amount of, I can't get into see it in the IMAX for three, four weeks and any screening. But like to know what,
Starting point is 00:34:33 um, Dumes day is upset about because of losing IMAX to Dune. Like that is a massive chunk of money. With that IMAX and being, you know what it has and whatnot so that's a huge thing like now now i understand why theaters get upset when they can't get iMacs and just seeing you know i mean the whole have to invent infinity vision for their screening but like it's crazy the imax in this film and just but again it's the whole movie's all shot it's all dude i saw every movie for imax it's this one it's great
Starting point is 00:35:06 i saw it i saw it the amc lincoln square which is like the best imax theater i've ever been to it's it is the best one. It's better than universal one. It's the best. And it was at the one point, there was a shot. And I'm looking like all the way up on the top. And it was like trees and bushels and the other side. Let me finish my fucking thought.
Starting point is 00:35:24 I am. Fucker. Thanks. And then on the bottom, it's like, it's like you're looking at this big, huge painting with this amazing story going on. And it just, yeah, it really did feel like the jumps and back and forth. And the way he was telling the story. I'm looking forward to seeing it again for sure. Yeah, me too.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Go ahead. No, I was waiting, but go ahead. Go ahead, Mike. He was waiting. I just wanted to ask you guys, have you either seen IMAX at the X at this IMAX headquarters in Santa Monica? You did have, right? That's pretty awesome.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yeah, it's pretty awesome there. It is pretty awesome there. I like the, I like the universal one better, honestly. But I do like just because like more. like more seat bigger. I get you. Yeah. Looks like our request has been denied from the guy.
Starting point is 00:36:17 He doesn't want to do it. So that's fine. Okay. So let's, shocker. So let's move on to some other stuff. But before we do, are we good with Kachava? All right.
Starting point is 00:36:29 So we'll be back in a second for the rest of the stories. And before we do, I want to get your comments and everything else too. And I want to get your honest thoughts about you. you saw the Odyssey, didn't like it? What didn't you like about it when you see it? Or did you love it? Put your thoughts in and let us know.
Starting point is 00:36:44 I'm going to say about Kachava. You're going to click on those links because you're going to help out the show, right? All right. Let's talk about Kachama. I love Chab. I really didn't. You're right. Someone in the comments said it too.
Starting point is 00:36:55 It's a fun word to say. It is. It's really amazing. It's a good energy. Penny wrote me back, Mike, because she said, she wanted to see a picture of your lady and my lady, because we were talking about how I said how. Wrote you back right now? on the show? Yeah, she had
Starting point is 00:37:10 DM me, but I, but I had said that there was, she sliding in your DMs? Well, it was, because I was setting, I was telling her when the interview is dropping, so that people want to know, next Wednesday, by the way, is when the interview is dropping. But, but I was telling her because we were talking about, and gave you props, gave you some props about the Shmowdown
Starting point is 00:37:26 stuff, we talked about how quiet you were. She's like, is he just a really quiet guy? No, not at all. He's the exact opposite. He's, he's an absolute lunatic on the show all the time. And she's like, he didn't say anything. thing when he was on the universe like no he was he was star struck um so we talked about that but we also did and then we talked about shannon and sadie a little bit and then um so i said she she and she said that both of them were stunning which is true um because it's funny because she's like
Starting point is 00:37:53 how do you guys have both so such hot wives and i go what are we a bunch of mutants you like that's funny it's hilarious so much is kind of a good look you never know i know I know. Kristen. Yeah. Did she like me? She did like you, yeah. And I also, and it was because of you that I even was able to do because I went in there going, because I didn't have you this time.
Starting point is 00:38:17 So I was like, I need, I need to do some more research. You did to do research this time around. I think it was smart of you to have her watch obsession, though, because that gave you like a good. We talked about a lot of stuff. And we talked about whether or not, because I don't know if you saw, because I know you've seen the movie. I don't think you saw Sam's take on obsession, but it has been like the, the, the, the, the, the, the, But one time the audience ever came after Sam out of the they came after Tara for her take on obsession as well. Out of 200 movies or whatever we've done together, this is the only time I've seen the audience like be 50-50 with Sam.
Starting point is 00:38:50 And we had the debate about who's the villain, Bear or not Sam, me and Penny about Bear or the or. I can't believe you could possibly think that's a debate. I don't. I don't. I mean, clearly, clearly she had, no, I'm just kidding. Clearly, Bear is the, is the villain. But we had, but Sam's take on the movie. She goes, kill her, scare it over. And I go, what? It's not her fault. She's like, yeah, I know, but at this point, it's like, killer be killed. That was Tara. Tara's take was the same thing. Puerto Rican from Queens, man. And she's just, and so she called in and defended it, too. We had the same, but anyway,
Starting point is 00:39:26 so we talked about that. So, and Penny had had recommended this, um, this series baby assassin. It was like this Chinese movie series. Actually, we talked a lot about action movies. She's never, and we talked about, she had never seen John Wick. So I told her about John Wick, talked about that. And yeah, she's like, she talked to, she, there's a lot of cool stories. What was she doing in New York? Uh, something work related.
Starting point is 00:39:50 We didn't really get into it. I don't know what she's doing. Work well. So you guys didn't talk about work stuff at all? And we talked about, yeah. I mean, you know, we got into, I, I was actually really fascinated with the idea of like because of what we do on this show and talk about the business side of how how deals get made right I'm like how do deals get made I'm someone what you know if we want an actress or an actor in in the
Starting point is 00:40:13 pilot we got to go through the agent we got to go through you know we got to set deals we got to these certain things people and to show up and and I'm just so curious to see how the business side worked they're like if someone wants her in a movie how does that work what do they do you know and so we talked about that type of stuff she definitely got into she She gets to know one topic. And Mike, you'll see my face. I'm just like, I'm just like,
Starting point is 00:40:38 Hey, can you tell us what it is? No, I'm waiting for you guys to watch that Wednesday. I need to do a reaction video to your interview. I actually think that you should do a reaction to the video. I really do. I really do. But it was great. And she was, you know, she's funny.
Starting point is 00:40:54 And she, you know, she clearly loves what she doing. And I told her she should be doing a podcast. I told her that on the air. I don't know why she's not. she's really good on the microphone. So we'll see. Anyway, we got more stuff. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Anyway, we got more stuff to... Did you think it was self-centered that I asked if she liked me? Not at all. Not at all. All right, let's get into the Spaceball's thing because the Spaceball's trailer is going to drop today. Oh, the other thing is going to drop today is Sam and I watch New Hope. Sam's first time watching... Oh, she loved it.
Starting point is 00:41:29 She really, really liked it a lot. Especially after with this this route that I went, I'm I'm 100% confident in the route that I went from Andor into Rogue 1 into episode 4. She is so locked in now to Star Wars where she would not have been. She said at the end of episode 4, she's like, I'm so glad that I watched all that others. First, I would have been so lost. She's like, I wouldn't have gotten it to the same way. So your recommendation of how somebody Sam's age watches Star Wars for the first time is different than your recommendation would be for your children. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't, I would definitely not start like my, my eight-year-old. old on and or you know i would start her on the prequels um but no with sam the opposite and or into rogue one into episode four into episode five into the prequels then episode six then mandolarian and grog or mandolarian seasons one through three then mando and groga okay that's how we're doing it um the new hope reaction is going to be out at uh two 30 p m esths today so what time you go to the dentist dentist. What are you talking about? Oh, Toof, Oxy. It's good. It's good. All right. Let's get into, we missed you. Let's get into the next topic, which is, what the hell is it? Oh, I know what it is. It's the Mandalorian and Grogu, they took a shot at it. By the way, that comes out on digital on Tuesday, apparently.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Oh, really? Yeah. I'm confused on when things come out now. Like obsession got pushed so far after. Backrooms just kept getting pushed back. Mando and Grogu obviously is coming out very quickly because of lack of performance. But like I feel like I don't have understanding of when I can watch things on VOD until literally like a couple days before. Anyway. Sometimes it's 45.
Starting point is 00:43:19 I mean, it depends. Supergirl is going to, I think Supergirl is coming out Tuesday or something or the end of the month. Supergirl is a shorter window than Maloney and Groga. I know it's hard to tell us, but I forgot to ask before we pivot into this. How did Roca do yesterday? Oh, that's a great question. He did, well, he's won two in a row. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Yeah, he's coming. Because I haven't been here. I know. Roxy. That's very well. I'd be true. I need to. You ready, kid.
Starting point is 00:43:44 You ready to say. I do. Roxy, I haven't won at all. Ever in the new system. Since this new thing. Never. I have a five week streak. right before we switch this i am not happy i don't like this yeah well now nothing i can do there's
Starting point is 00:43:59 nothing i can do eroka's been crushing it lately he did good yesterday let me ask you this does roger crush because he does have like he can drop scoops he's got like the snider like drop it in like where you guys i think it's gonna be the monday and tuesday show where i think the advantage is on monday and tuesday are the stories are are significantly better normally on Mondays and Tuesdays. That that is true. Trailers drop on Tuesdays, but the advantage that you guys have on Tuesdays also is because you're dynamic and the two of you guys when you're on together, like for sure. Now, Wednesdays has also been a thing now because Kevin Smets plays the games. People like that. People like Kev, obviously. Chris Carr is beloved and Winston's beloved. So you just
Starting point is 00:44:40 never know. They get the short end of the stick on Thursdays and Fridays with the stories, though, a lot of times. But they've won. Both of them have won. And I haven't. So I'm trying to figure it out. as a competitive person like me driving fucking crazy I think you gotta get a new camera maybe the camera might help you the camera's not helping
Starting point is 00:44:59 but I wonder if it's because you haven't given them the shower at video yet you know that's also true you know you and I think exactly like so I was driving
Starting point is 00:45:09 I knew we got the show and I was like I wonder like because in the past I like I think or I could do but I am coming up
Starting point is 00:45:19 to Comic Con and I When I go in a trip because I want a good shower, I'll do it. I'm a man of my word. What I will say is that you have had for the last 10 weeks up until just today, good internet. Today, whatever this is, sucks. Okay, but luckily, I actually speak Mikey and I know he's saying he's going to Comic-Con. There will be an impressive shower.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Perhaps we get that video then. And then my follow-up question is, Mike, I know with you, I know you go with your boys. Are you going to have one of them film it for you? No, no, no. I'll set up something in the bathroom. Yeah. No, no, no, no. Because that would be insane on.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Not you log out and come back in. This is terrible. Is it bad? Like, I don't seem bad. Yeah, it's terrible. It's all. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:46:11 I log back out, come back in. Okay, thanks a lot. That the fuck's going on. Sorry, guys. I'll go right back. I'll be right back. Max Headroom. Shut your mouth.
Starting point is 00:46:18 well i don't want you why i get put in a circle where is she terrible there you're you um and yeah so i mean it's like that's old school feel they got to change those lower thirds come on um but you know when it comes to old school mike nothing better than how how funny was that though too like i threw him right under the bus with that with the ai slots thing
Starting point is 00:46:44 well what else were you going to do i had to yeah and mike doesn't mind being thrown under the bus actually that's a great part no he does you know it's funny isn't because i just because i and i sent her the video because she because i was supposed to we were walking out i was rushing to odyssey so i was supposed to do all that stuff before i left show you know that she wanted to she wanted the the video she wanted to know all this stuff so and i was like um but i had to send her that video and then she wrote back she's like i can't believe he blame me for the AI slots she's like i didn't post that you knew he was full of shit we both knew he was full of shit 100% He was, well, the thing, the pub.
Starting point is 00:47:21 We still have AI sluts in there. I think we do. I'm sure you do. I think we do. Yeah, there we do. A. I. Sluts.
Starting point is 00:47:28 What was that? What was that? What are you looking at? What are you looking at? You're muted, Mike. You muted yourself. You're looking at right now. That came up.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Don't lie. That said AI. I have my Twitter. And because I follow Penny Barber, the shit that I get on my Twitter. I'll tell you this. With my Twitter and her follow. What was it? What was it?
Starting point is 00:47:49 It was an ad that she re-tosted. So let me tell you this. Because I follow her, I don't want to unfollow her, but some of the stuff that comes on my thread when I'm in public, like I'm in line at Chipotle and I'll be scrolling on Twitter. I follow her too, and that doesn't happen to me. What do you want me to tell you? What do you want?
Starting point is 00:48:07 The most underrated part of that video is that he says some of the stuff that comes up and you say literally. It goes on the radar. Yeah. It goes under the radar. Yeah, it goes under the radar. I was proud of that one. It was on my screen, literally.
Starting point is 00:48:22 And you're not even there. And it's just, yeah, that was good. She said at one point, she's like, is he just masturbating all the time? I said, yes. I went into interview mode there because I, I like really came after. Mike, I was like, what were you? What were you doing? Answer the question.
Starting point is 00:48:36 It's like, what do you want to tell you? Like, what I was there is what I wish people would do when they were interviewing our politicians. Like, don't let them, don't let them dance around it. Listen. Like, I need answers to the question. Everybody. I always, that's one of my most hated things about interviewers where it's just, oh, okay, interesting, interesting. And then just go to the next question that was on their paper.
Starting point is 00:48:58 It's like, no, drop the paper. And what did you say? I saw, I forget who it was that was on, I want to say it was maybe Kerry Washington that was on, holy shit, Amy Polar's show. And she was saying like, no matter what they ask you, Amy, just. answer whatever question you want to answer. Like in any interview, I just answer whatever question I want to answer. It does seem like they all do that. Like they all as an actor, singer, politics. They just answer whatever question they want to answer. And it's like it's like that happens
Starting point is 00:49:32 a lot during debates. Oh my God, all the time. Tell me about your immigration policy. And they're like, so here's what I think about the money that is. You know, I had a great experience in and out. It was really good. I didn't realize that you could. You know, I didn't realize that you could, get the the buns off. And it was, sir, immigration. Oh, well, there were, there were quite a few people who were asking for extra fries with cheese. And then they go, oh, uh-huh, uh-huh. And they don't press, press.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Go back to what you were saying. Answer the question. So, but that was great. We never got down to the bottom of it, right? Like, what was Mike? Oh, you found a website up. Yeah, but what was? Well, when you were beating it before, before you went on the air?
Starting point is 00:50:15 So. you know, listen, nice warning. So Roka did well yesterday and we're doing decently right now. Yeah, you guys are doing good. We haven't started. You're 57 already. It's pretty good. I haven't started.
Starting point is 00:50:29 No, the questions we haven't started. Oh. I didn't send it any TV picks. I haven't been watching that much stuff, but I have been watching some stuff if you want me to ad hoc do TV picks. Yeah, potentially. I mean, this is a baseball story and then we'll see if we can do. Because I did finish 12 months.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Monkeys finally. I really enjoyed it a lot. Someone said, oh, you know, I try to watch and I couldn't get into it because it was a very sci-fi channel-y show. It is. There's no doubt about that. I mean, I love Todd Stashwick, though. I thought he was great.
Starting point is 00:51:02 And season two is, there he is he back. There he is. Actually, I would prefer that with a little head thing there. There we go, Mike. How are you doing? Better? Yeah, well, I reset the rider, so let's try. Let's try.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Let's see what we can get. I think it looks really good, Mikey. Fingers crossed. All right, let's get to this one because I want to discuss this. And that is that Space Balls 2 is already making fun of the Mandalorian and Grugoo. So the first plot description of the upcoming comedy sequel is here. Star Wars is in the crosshairs. One of the main reasons that 2027 is the perfect time to release a new space balls is that Star Wars is in disarray.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Sure, 2027 is the 50th anniversary of the franchise and there are a lot of cool things planned. But the franchise hasn't been itself in a long time. Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker disappointed. Several live action shows were one and done in the most recent movie. The Mandalorian and Grogu is all but assured to be the lowest grossing live action Star Wars film ever. And then comes Spaceballs. We're just a bunch of assholes.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Spaceballs, the new one, won't be in theaters until April 23rd of 2027. About one month before the next Star Wars movie Starfighter. But it's having a coming out party next week at San Diego Comic Con. And in the buildup, the first plot description has been released, which takes a very pointed shot at the latest Star Wars big screen adventure, the official description. Somehow, Dark Helmand has returned. Filarious.
Starting point is 00:52:21 40 years after the events of the first baseball, 50 years after the events of Star Wars A New Hope, and one year for the events of the Defoeuvres product, too, the galaxy is once again under threat. A threat so evil, so unstoppable, so completely lacking, in any original ideas that has vowed to bring back the past, at least every bit of it. With Lone Star and hiding, Queen Vespa on the throne,
Starting point is 00:52:39 and the Schwartz stretched thinner than a franchise releasing TV episodes theatrically, The only hope for the galaxy is Vespersed Sun, Prince Starburst, and a mysterious palace advisor named Destiny. Together, they must find Lodestar, yogurt, and other iconic legacy character fans are demanding before they discover the hard way that while some threats you can fight, the reboot is not one of them. So not only does the Mandelorina Grogue Catch Australia, but the Rise of Skywalker 2, Dark Helmet has returned. This is already going very, very well for Spaceball's fan. The story itself sounds fun and very force awakens in Spain. fire plus the description is also our first confirmation of louis pullman and kiki palmer's character names prince starburst and destiny destiny destiny is also hilarious considering she's surely the ray
Starting point is 00:53:24 type character um you gotta do this right i mean it's baseball you i have to yeah i am so excited but people who are like i kid this is the wrong time the franchise star wars is not doing well right now this is the wrong time to parody something that's already a parody so disagree i i so who's saying that Who'd you say saying that? That's just what I've been seen. Have you seen that? When we did the,
Starting point is 00:53:47 when the first trailer or teaser thing dropped and we launched it for rejects or like, even in the chat here, I saw a couple people. It's like, I so disagree with that. And if that's your take, that's a totally fine take. It's not a disrespectful take.
Starting point is 00:54:02 I just so disagree. I've never wanted a space ball's movie more. Yeah, same. I'm with you. That's like, now would be the perfect time. You remember, you guys remember this,
Starting point is 00:54:10 mystery men. Remember that movie? Of course. Yeah. Now would be the time for this movie, not when it came out. Right. Now would be the time. Sure.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Good point. And I think that, look, space balls, it's coming out. It's going to take shots at it. And then look, it's on Starfighter because Starfighter is going to get the buzz of Star Wars again. And if Starfighter is actually really good, then it's like, hey, look, they, they pressed us.
Starting point is 00:54:41 And we delivered with something a little. it was something different, some new characters, and we got you guys back on board. And it's got people talking about Star Wars again. But if it shits the bed and it's not good, then it's going to be in the third space balls. I also love Jitpomber. I think her comedic timing is like spot on.
Starting point is 00:54:59 She's such great casting for a comedy like this. And I've been loving Lewis Pullman as well. Do you guys have a lot of familiarity with Josh Greenbaum, who's directing this? He did Barb and Star go to Vista Del Mar. and Will and Harper, he directed Strays. Have you seen any of that stuff? I saw Barb and Star.
Starting point is 00:55:19 I saw that too during the pandemic. No, I feel like that. And I like that movie. Maybe I saw Strays. PLD, I see Strays. I don't know. Maybe. Did I see a PLD tell me? I don't remember. Dude, I honestly, I have to ask this now because I don't remember shit.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Someone told me that I saw a scary movie five. I had to go back to look at this old Schmo's review. I did see that movie. That happens to me sometimes. Will and Harper was the Will Ferrell documentary. Oh, yeah. Yes, you're dead. I did see it.
Starting point is 00:55:51 You did. There you go. Perfect. So I saw it. I wonder what I thought. I don't even know what I thought. And you loved it. I don't know if I liked it.
Starting point is 00:55:58 I feel like I didn't. You fucking clown. Yeah, where were you yesterday? Beating off into your bathroom with AI sluts. Probably. Yeah. For exchange. Probably.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Probably. Mike, I missed it because she had one point she says, does he just masturbate a lot? And I go, yeah. Yeah, he does. Oh, like that would offend her. Like she's like a high brow better than that. No, she was asking, she was asking like, you know, because we were talking about AI sluts. Can I ask you really inappropriate question, Mike?
Starting point is 00:56:32 Oh, Christ. What is this now? It's really inappropriate. You don't have to answer. You're going to do this on the air. Why don't you send in the private chat? What is it? What is it deal with, Roxy?
Starting point is 00:56:42 masturbation. Oh, God. What's you asking in the private? Why are you asking the private chat? What are we going to all? We all say that no one does that, right? Okay. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Here we go. Abernathy comes through. Avernathy who comes, who does, sometimes I want to throw into timeout comes to. Well, Roxy, you can. Roxy, you can throw it. Compliment. And said, Avernathy goes, job security for my.
Starting point is 00:57:08 That's true. What do you mean jobs? I don't understand. Because you, you are job security for everything. that you do from what you say and like you've got your comments and like you're there's no one like you on this show there really is right it's true it's right i wrote it in the private chat hold on i think go let me see here hold on here is there ever a time shannon wants to have sexy but you'd rather jerk off no okay we could ask another is there ever a time
Starting point is 00:57:35 with shannon wants have sex and you but you would rather just jerk off you know you read it out loud time. Why have me write it? Because I read it before you said. No, you didn't. We lost Christian. I did. I saw it. I was just like. What was the answer? That was an unbelievable. I'm going to tell you this, Roxy. You want to talk some, you want to talk some
Starting point is 00:58:03 this kind of stuff? How are you overstepping what you just did? No, that's another. That's another burger question. Let me tell you this, Roxy. in all of my escapades with women and life and people and I've dated all types of women
Starting point is 00:58:20 who have sexuality of like their sexual some are very reserved some are very open if a woman doesn't do that 99% of the time they're terrible in bed I want a woman that no masturbate I want a woman who knows what her body loves
Starting point is 00:58:38 and wants and feels good for her because then it's better as a couple they understand what they want me to do what feels good where like if a woman does i don't do that and i don't do that i'm like nope i do this that wasn't my question i answered your question i was like no that's that's no that's that's like it was like man you could ask that on the air what was the answer no i don't i always have sex it sex is like that's that's pro go to that's priority that's that's that's the day we're going there preference jerking off is never your preference no no and i And to tout my girl's horn, there's never been a time where, like, hold on, how am I going to word this?
Starting point is 00:59:19 Toot her horn? Toot her horn. I don't like, I'm going to. Yeah, you ever heard toot your own horn? Of course I have, but I don't think he said to. Yeah, he did. Hold on a second. Let me, let me, you guys keep talking. I'm going to try and think what I was going to just say on how I'm going to word it.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Okay. All right. I just kind of want to see you. Oh, if there was ever like, if there was ever like, I'm feeling a little bit. She, okay, a lot of people that, you. You'll hear this. This is kind of a conversation to what Rock's saying. People are like, well, my wife wasn't in the mood, so I had to take care of business.
Starting point is 00:59:49 Never has that ever happened. She has never, she's always been like anytime. In the middle of the night, you feel it. You feel the need. Roll me over. You know what you disproved? What's that? You don't have kids.
Starting point is 01:00:03 Well, true. That's it. I don't. It's true. I don't have kids. That's right. Is that something you guys are not interested in? fucking?
Starting point is 01:00:12 No, having a case. Oh. Oh, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no kids. I would, I would pay, I would pay, I would pay, I would pay money to watch you as a pops. You want to be in good time. I'm going to tell you this, because people could chime in, not anyone this chat, anyone that
Starting point is 01:00:29 knows me and seen me around kids, they would say I'd be an incredible father. Yeah. Like, I, and how I am with kids, like, I get my dose of kids at work at the theme park, like, being around them and, and, and, and, you know, they're fun and they're laughing and they're not listening to you. A lot more to that though. A lot more than those great moments.
Starting point is 01:00:46 100%. And that's why I can just go, here you go. And I hand them off and I go home to my dogs. Right. And know that the ship has sailed on kids for me. And vice versa, Mike, there's never a time that Shannon wants to hook up that you're like, I'm so tired or blah, blah, blah, never. I'll say
Starting point is 01:01:04 it's more been a my camp than hers. Because I will be like, coming from work and just in a like for me i have to mentally be there i i can't which is absolutely hilarious considering not taking away from how your job is stressful and your job does but she works a very serious yeah it's hilarious but i'm well here's the thing i'm a lot more emotionally immature than she is so there you go what you just said though mike is actually from my understanding of talking to all of my girlfriends what you just said is significantly more common where a man is sometimes because of work or whatever's happening in the day
Starting point is 01:01:48 or stress or finances or whatever. I think that that's very, very common, Mike. I think you're not alone on that one. Anyway, I didn't mean to take the questions and I was just curious. We can return back to the scheduled programming. That's over. That's done. Now we're going to get to the question. What are you eating, Christian? An apple. And, oh, an apple. Mike, Did you go to In-N-Out this morning? No, it was just the ice in the cup that was, like, in my refrigerator. What epiphany did you just have, like? Don't eat that fruit, dude.
Starting point is 01:02:19 You're going to shit yourself. Are you guys here what's going on? It's not apples. It's raspberries. I thought it's produce. No, I think it's berries and salad. Really? Like lettuce.
Starting point is 01:02:32 Salads. That's a big one. Because I love salads and I can't eat. No, no. 30 states so far. Those two. Yeah. What is?
Starting point is 01:02:38 Three states. there's something going on I thought it was mostly berries but maybe it's... I also don't eat the the freaking pesticide stuff it's usually organic but it's a big it's a big
Starting point is 01:02:51 it's like they say the cooking doesn't kill it that's fine I'm bored with it so I'm bored so let's let's get to the questions in general what if they can beat Roca
Starting point is 01:03:06 Roxy's back first show back can she do it 31 states lettuce and salad greens berries diarrhea causing parasite That's all That's all No no it's there's more stuff I'm just naming some of the things So so Mike we're not supposed to order salads right now Well rocks I'll tell you this anyone that
Starting point is 01:03:27 Anyone that I love anyone No fuck that's what I'm saying shithead I love chick-fil-A I love it I know there can't eat them now And now they have I looked on the men you like their app the other day whatever. Yeah. But yeah, salads, man. At least for
Starting point is 01:03:55 I don't know, a couple weeks they say you got to stay away from salads and avocados, berries. What? To be informative and educational, it's raspberries, basil, cilantro, green onion, snow peas, lettuce, musklin, and salad mixes. Yeah, there you go. So apples, you should be good, Christian. Yeah, you're good. Don't shoot yourself, Christian.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Perfect crunch. Perfect crunch. Is that an apple crisp? Oh, frozen or cooked foods, including things like berries and vegetables are in the clear. So if you want berries, get them frozen. Yeah, you're frozen. Damn, I have a whole bunch of berries in there. No, like, this is real Christian. My gamble, though.
Starting point is 01:04:35 It's serious, yeah. No, no, I mean, people are like, it's like persistent diarrhea. It's almost like we had a department of specialists that dealt with this kind of thing that just don't work there anymore. What happened? I listen to me. Christian loves when we do this, Mike. Listen, I don't care. You're the one that's like,
Starting point is 01:04:55 got to go. Got to go. So let's do it. No, I was talking about how he made it political, but okay. Oh, I'm so excited for the Odyssey film, especially after seeing your out of the theater reaction, Christian, thoughts on the score and how it elevates the film. Well, until 20 minutes ago, I thought it was Hans Zimmer.
Starting point is 01:05:13 But I guess it's literally, it does elevate the film. And he's, and it's an excellent score. It's really, really good. So he does, it does elevate the film for sure. Nathan Drake, I'm seeing some critics say that the accents and way of speaking took them out of the movie. Do you see that being a sticking point with some people? I do see it being a sticking point with some people 100%. It wasn't for me because going into it, it's like, you know, Kevin Koster didn't have an English accent in Robin Hood.
Starting point is 01:05:40 I still like that, you know. Same thing, Brad Pitt, as Mike mentioned with Troy, sounded like Brad Pitt in Troy. What was the accents that people wanted? I mean, you know what's so funny is that if you give anybody, even when it's not necessarily, like you could have given everybody English accent and nobody would have complained. You can put an English accent and everything and everybody feels like it's more proper, everything else too.
Starting point is 01:06:04 When it's like it's like an American accent, people are like, it doesn't feel like that's accurate. Yeah, okay. Who gives a shit? Were they alive back then? Did they know what it really sounded like back then? No. That's the thing, though, to me.
Starting point is 01:06:15 First of all, the back then stuff, there's a fucking. Cyclops in this movie. You know what I mean? It's like I get it. I get it like Napoleon. It bothered me. Like Napoleon when he's when he sounds like he's talking from from the South. The Cyclops had a British accent.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Yeah. I don't, I don't care. Like don't care about this. When it's a, when it's a fantasy story, I don't care when it's really like, you know,
Starting point is 01:06:43 you go back in time, you do a Roman movie and people have American accents. It bothers me. It does. But when it's a made-up story, it's a made-up story. Anyway, semi. Happy Tuesday. Hope you guys are doing well in honor of the Odyssey. Keep two, delete two of these sword and sandal movies.
Starting point is 01:07:03 The options are Troy 300, Gladiator, and Spartacus. Great question. Keep two, delete two. Yeah, easy for me. Everybody's keeping Gladiator for sure. Everybody's keeping gladiator. Yeah. Now the question is, what are, what's the other?
Starting point is 01:07:17 the one we're keeping. We're keeping Troy of 300. That's that's the question. I'm a Spartacus. I don't remember. My favorite thing about Spartacus though, I always think about the Sopranos. Mike, you didn't watch, Mike hasn't watched Spanus so he won't get this. Although he would love it.
Starting point is 01:07:33 Broxie, you've seen his Sopranos. Of course. Joey Pants. They didn't wear flat tops in ancient Rome. It's the best line. Yeah, it was a good impression, too. Yeah. I haven't rewatched Troy in a long time, but I think I remember preferring it to 300, but I really like 300 also. I like 300 as well. I want to watch it again.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Yeah, I haven't seen Troy like Roxie so long. I wonder, like I loved it when it came out, but I wonder if I watch it now and I would go, oh, this is a, this is a vanity movie. Yeah, maybe. I've seen that. I like Troy. Troy's gotten better. So someone made, the silly stuff is amazing. Someone made a good point in the chat. I just saw. Is it Spartacus the TV show or Spartacus the movie? No, they're talking about the movie. He's doing movies. Okay, because I'd say I keep Spartacus the movie over, or the TV show over any of those. I'm going to give a slight edge to 300. I'm going to have a slight edge to 300, but I could replace it with Troy tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:08:26 300 is awesome. It's really good. Yeah, it's great. Nathan Drake, Roke got war with people in the comments over his accent and the commercial. That commercial is classic. Roxy would know this because we used to play it on Clare Live all the time, but I don't know if Mike has ever seen it. Have you ever seen this?
Starting point is 01:08:41 What makes El Folio Locos new hand-carved chicken salad so delicious? Our expert grill masters, like Roberto here, skillfully hand-carve our fresh, fire-grilled chicken breast to order for our new Southwest bacon salad and our mango avocado salad with perfectly ripe avocado. Just look at that precision. It's truly amazing with a knife. Like it's dying right now. He is still working on his spoons chicken. Tastin. Now, I have seen that, but it's been like 15, 20 years.
Starting point is 01:09:14 It's been a long time. Yeah, we used to play it on Clare Live. like every other way. A gig's a gig. A hundred percent. He said he said yesterday he made like 40 grand off that day. I think he did a great job. He did a great job. Yeah. Great job. It's just it's he's still working on a spoonmanship. It's like something we used I think we had a sound bite Roxy for that.
Starting point is 01:09:31 He's not working on his spoonmanship. So good. He said he didn't want to do the accent. They made him do the accent. Hey, I have no one. Nobody ever wants it. No. For many, many years, I played Zorro for Universal Studios. So. Oh. And I had, man, I had an accent. So wow. Yeah. All right. Okay, so next one after that is Ron H. 7474. Happy Tuesday, the Unholy Trio, that is Christian, Mike and Roxy has returned. Watch Christian do his best to handle a racist and a stoner. Love you. That's hilarious. That's me and Mike. Yeah. Remember? You don't know rocks? Come on now. Roxy knows. They have it somewhere. Where the hell? Here we go. Well, you know why, Roxy? Because I'm racist. That's why. Why am I a stoner? Because I am.
Starting point is 01:10:19 Because you are. Because you are. Yeah, but yours is, Mike, yours is something you're not. Mine's, so you know what I have another. It's a little weirder that yours is like something you're not and mine is something that. Because I'm everything. I got a little bit of everything. Okay.
Starting point is 01:10:38 All right. Here we go. Here's the next one. Ron H. Gail Daughtry has overtaken stop that train as Mike. economy of 2026. People really like that one. My God, I love Gail and her crew so much. Caleb, the first to join the crew, even supports a Hollywood shirt. Go watch, please. Mike, you got to watch, you have to watch Hollywood for us.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Wait, what, what, what is, I have no idea what he's talking about again. Hollywood? No, Gail Daughtry has taken stop that. Oh, I don't know what Caldaltry is. I don't know. She sees like obscure stuff. That's what I like. Okay. Yeah. Gail Daughtry was very funny. People are saying, I don't know. immediate show comedy show i guess i don't know i don't know what it is all right um all right let's see hold on a second oh before we move on so the schmodeon we're in season three right now mike kellan elsie's about to make his debut not too far away um but before we do that we have our first title match of season three and the second singles title match ever and that is jete
Starting point is 01:11:35 trying to get his first championship against mark yody riley the undefeated champ as we get into you. Yody. Yeah, that's a big match. It's a big, that was a big match. So that's going to be on the Schmodeown channel today.
Starting point is 01:11:50 So go and check that if you haven't done it already. I saw this poster for the first time when I went to see the Odyssey, Gail Daughtry and the celebrity sex. Oh, that's what that is. Yes, yes. I know what that is. It's Leah Thompson's daughter.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Yeah. I know what that is. Zoe Deutsch, John Hamm, Ron Slatery. So that's good. Okay, that's good.
Starting point is 01:12:08 Ron H. Odyssey's on Thursday, April 16th. You're going to wait until next day. to see it in iMacs um you you should see it this this month on i'll send some superchats either before or possibly from the theater i want to get out of size let's eff and go let me tell you what don't do that i never say don't yeah yeah yeah don't send super chat from the theater and ron i says digger looks crazy i mean bang bang bang do you guys see the trailer say mike
Starting point is 01:12:35 did you watch the trailer of course it's really good i did not yeah it's really good uh yeah go ahead really It doesn't seem like that type of movies not like would be my go to, but it's Tom Cruise and yeah. Yeah. Looks for me. A tornado. What, which movie trivia mode on character would you guys pick most likely to survive the journey home a la the Odyssey? I pick Roca or Clark Wolk.
Starting point is 01:12:58 If we're talking about the characters themselves, I'd love to see J.T.E. and Finstock is a duo that would be gold. Oh, God. Yeah. I'm curious A tornado why you would pick Roca or Clark Wolfe. Roka, the characters. The characters, Roka's character was a
Starting point is 01:13:16 Clark's an interesting pick. Clark's a survivor too. I get the outlaw, but I'm curious on Clark. I'd probably say, if you look at, I mean, I mean, Finstock would find a way to survive. That's exactly who I was going to say.
Starting point is 01:13:30 Finstock would be fucking the Cyclops. I mean, something, he'd find a way to survive. He'd be making deals of people. His character was always, he was, he was like the Paul Heyman of, of the showdown. for sure. Commander Colson.
Starting point is 01:13:42 Can't remember. Thank you. Got a live stream coming up next Friday, PLD, is that right? Week from Friday? There we go. Go pal.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Happy trium birthday, return, Roxy. Hell yeah. Thank you. A tornado. Roxy, have you watched from? I think she has.
Starting point is 01:13:57 I watched the show. No, you haven't. I hear, oh, man. The MGM show, and it's the only streamer that I don't have. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:14:02 People love this show. People love it. And they recommend it all the time to me. It's the number one show I'm recommended that I haven't watched, but it's just, I don't have the platform. I watched the first three episodes and it's solid so far.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Definitely my TV pick for everyone. It's up there. Roxy, I can tell you off air and watch. I just watched a full season of a show that I can't talk about yet. Yeah, everybody's saying it's really good. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. I was supposed to cover it, but I was gone.
Starting point is 01:14:29 Yeah. My choice, this anti-the-odd Odyssey discourse has to be the dumbest thing I've seen in years. What movies discourse annoys you the most? This is up there because, you know, What gets me about it is not, is not the people being upset. It's being upset before you've seen the film about what you're being upset about. Like there's certain things you're just like, okay, I don't like the way organizations are being run. And I didn't like that.
Starting point is 01:14:53 I have no interest in this movie. This movie is not marketed to me. Okay, fine, fine. But a movie you haven't seen. I can't believe. They got, uh, Elliot Pages to play, uh, you know, uh, Achilles. Killies isn't in the fucking movie. And it's like, so.
Starting point is 01:15:11 I think Justice League. No, I didn't realize there was a discourse in Justice League. The first one, you mean the first, the, the, the, the Whedon one? Release the Snyder cut. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. That was really a long time of people being really mad. And I like the Snyder cut. I just, the discourse was like, for a man who has built his entire career platform on being,
Starting point is 01:15:38 suit, I can't say the word on YouTube, but prevention of unaliving. Those fans were so vicious and telling so many people to go off themselves. That the discourse was really, like, I thought that that was so upsetting and crazy. There was a lot of that. Yeah. Mike D. Odyssey clip on your Instagram needs more pixels. I don't know what happens there, because it's the same video that I posted it. And then I tried to email it to Kevin because Kevin made the short and it came out like that.
Starting point is 01:16:10 So I just have to probably just drop it. So that's Roca with you. By the way. That's you and Roca. It's absolutely hilarious. It's really funny. Johnny, happy birthday, Roxy. I'm glad you're back.
Starting point is 01:16:23 We're all glad. Thank you. I kind of feel we have to win this week, Mike, because it's my birthday. 75. 75. You're doing pretty good so far. Hey, Mr. CJ, happy birthday. Cancerian.
Starting point is 01:16:33 There you go. Jane Morgan. I just realized that the family and Mary Poppins are the banks and the dad works at a bank. Shut up, don't make fun of me. Yeah, I mean, that makes... That's fine.
Starting point is 01:16:44 Yeah. He said, I also just realized that Obi-Wan Kenobi has Obi-N-Kin-his name twice. Anyway, I, Roxy. To Mike and Christian, show just a little bit of class. Just some class. Hey!
Starting point is 01:16:59 Oh! Hey! I don't think I ever realize that about Obi-Wan Kenobi's name either. Yeah, there you go. I'm not too either. Ron H. I'm here because I'm an honesty to get Christian and the rest of the crew, including Rokka, to watch Holly Wheat.
Starting point is 01:17:17 L.L. 30 minutes free, and it's on YouTube. Come on. That's what everybody says. I can't 30 minutes is a lot, Ron. Did I miss Roxy and Mike's take on Supergirl? I mean, I don't think so. Mike talked about it. Maybe Roxy's, but Roxy's been, she's giving her take on Supergirl.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Yeah, I liked it. I liked it. Yeah. And Mike, Mike gave me this. I thought it was fine. Yeah. Samuel, champion, 96, 89. I just feel like over the past few years,
Starting point is 01:17:41 people on both sides have embraced hate culture, which is way easier to do than get something a shot. I personally cannot wait for the Odyssey. But that's it, Sam. You nailed it. It's like you're allowed to feel frustrated. Like even if you are frustrated with casting or anything else too, or you're frustrated with where you think that is a political message
Starting point is 01:17:58 that's overshadowing what the movie could be, even if you feel that way, which you're every right to feel that way. what you just said is the key go and see the movie first right and then discuss it and have the conversation of look you know i was worried about this thing is exactly what happened but just to say i knew you were going to say that fuck you it doesn't do anything it doesn't do anything so yeah i mean you've got to you've got to just see the movie you can feel the same exact way even in that move of it's like oh what the hell movie did you watch and people will say that they're
Starting point is 01:18:34 going to be some people who like, you know what? All right. You know, I didn't think that I was going to like this movie, but I like, I listen to Christian stuff sometimes. I listen to that in the theater. I'm going to go check it out. And they really dislike it. They're going to come back and it's up to them how they're going to respond. They're going to go, I'm not with you on this one, man. I didn't like it. I was bored. Didn't dig it. Or they're going to scream and yell and then you'll ever hear from Never Again on this channel. Samuel, very dapper picture. Great picture. Um, Ron H. All these movies are their crappy comments. I don't watch
Starting point is 01:19:04 films. Don't watch films ever again. Or if you do, please be quiet. No one wants to hear your crap except others who hear you spoon crap. Well, said, Ron. Lou Yankee. Happy Blade and Roxy. Thank you. Yeah, go ahead, Mike. Ed, just to the discourse. Like, I'm trying to be better on Twitter. I'm trying. You say that every week. Hold on. And I'll tell you why. Can I finish? Yeah, go ahead. Like, I just posted the other day. Like, I was just like, man, saw a master of the
Starting point is 01:19:28 universe for the fourth time. I unabashedly love this movie. blah, blah, blah, this and this. Sure enough, I was like, fucking thing stunk. Fuck yourself. I'm sorry. He means to write that. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:19:39 I'm sorry. Like, fuck you, man. And that's when I go off. And that's when I get pissed off. I know. I'm doing this thread. People are like, yeah, it was awesome. blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 01:19:48 This is like, yeah. And then one asshole. Fuck you. It's so much more fun to just mute those people. Than the screaming yell back to them. Oh. No, because I'm back in the way. I'm glad you said that because neither you or him responded to me.
Starting point is 01:20:04 Instead of screaming and yelling at each other like children, you and Josh Wilding should debate on this show. I could talk to you off air about something. Okay. All right. That's fair. I heard that name before. Who is that?
Starting point is 01:20:19 He writes for Comment Book movie. Oh. Oh, yeah. He's every time he's his name. Yeah, yeah. I can talk to you off air. Okay. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:20:27 All right. Nathan Drake. I'm hyped for Odyssey. I'm a fellow Dune 2 lover, but I know some people say it's boring. Do you think that happens with Odyssey? Yeah, I do think some people are going to think it's boring. Yeah, 100%. I do think that you'll get that from some people.
Starting point is 01:20:39 But it's not like Dune 2 where it's one long story. Odyssey is like chapter, chapter, chapter, chapter. So like even if somebody didn't love one thing, like that we go so many places. I'm with you. I'm with you. I wasn't bored. But I think, you know, some people will say, that. I was bored. Go pal. No man is killing me by fraud. No man is
Starting point is 01:21:03 killing me by force. What's that from? Don't know. Is that from honestly? I don't know. The Lil Yankee. Man. Panyas poured into that dress. It's true. I like how she shakes things up and keeps Mike on his best. She's a little, she's a little
Starting point is 01:21:22 lady. I'm all she's like five, four, five, five, five, something like that. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like an actor and a star, they just come off bigger than larger than life. Oh, by the way. So who can without, if you know, don't say it. Just say I know.
Starting point is 01:21:43 But don't, don't actually guess. Who's that? I know. Okay. I would think that's Smets. That is correct. Really? Took Roko a longer time to get it.
Starting point is 01:21:55 What's that from? It looked like a little baby face. They watch. I didn't I did not know I really guessed amazing it's amazing it's really it's really yeah he's so cute he's the best um we got to get that clip from uh newsies next anyway oh we'll finish that uh i like how she shakes things up and keeps mic on his best behavior have a great tuesday all so she did say she did say afterwards if we want to do like a penny's corner film stuff that she'll come and do on a live show on tuesdays
Starting point is 01:22:27 Oh, hell yeah. We never do that. Go pal. Insomnia is great, but a rough watch. So depressing. It is true. Well,
Starting point is 01:22:36 that's a big one. Oh, Roxy. DJ. That's a big one. Go DJ. That's my DJ. You guys up from DJ coming in hot.
Starting point is 01:22:45 Amazing. Thank you, for a second PLD. Let us know that was a quote from the Odyssey, by the way. Makes sense. Which we didn't remember. I kind of guessed it.
Starting point is 01:22:54 Thank you, DJ. AJ, you're the man. Thank you, Hey, buddy. Ron H. Being unknown is amazing. I can bring my butt any place. I'm Ron H. And these people have no idea. I'm among you with no pants. Yeah, I said eventually we're going to see the guy with no pants and know it's Ron H. Go Pal, gift in five more memberships. Go Pal has been handed out a lot of membership lately. Tell you. Yeah. Go Pal. Making it rain. Yeah. Oh, speaking of which, and again,
Starting point is 01:23:15 bringing back. So I did this thing. Roxy, do you remember on what I used to do the one-on-one with Christian Harleff interviews that I used to do a thing? I think I might even done it with you when you were on. And I said that I, about the end of the interview, I like to let the interview interview the interviewee interview me for five minutes i remember used to do that yeah so i brought that back and i with penny she up for five minutes and i'm going to make it exclusive for the patrons can you give us like what a genre of question she asked you all over the place was any of it sexual in nature it's all over the place so and it'll be it'll be it'll be it for members it'll be on nice nice so there you go um your member
Starting point is 01:23:56 20 hate Baskill. I got lucky and snagged the seat for the Odyssey Dead Center at CityWalk, IMAX Friday at 11. Hell yeah. Oh, you lucky bastard, man. There you go. There you go. How was Travis Scott in the movie?
Starting point is 01:24:10 You know what? Fine. I was, I was, that was one of the castings for me that I said, why did they do that? Why are you laughing so hard? Because he's a panning barber in front of the barbershop. Scott Bans is a barbershop quartet. Have you never seen that one?
Starting point is 01:24:25 Oh, dude, that one's the best. Penny's barbershers. I can't fucking stand barbershop quartets. I can't stand them? Can you get the full photo for that so we can put it in the barbershop quartets? And every one of them does this. It's like,
Starting point is 01:24:40 it's time for our favorite song. Our last one. Every fucking time. Every barbershop quartet does that. Travis Scott was fine in the movie. Didn't bother me. He's barely in it. Barely.
Starting point is 01:24:52 Yeah. Barely. Barely. Derek Johnson. 10 members are from Derek. That's huge. Okay. Derek's pushing,
Starting point is 01:25:00 there you go. Oh, DJ. Mad Dog. Hell yeah, Roxy's back. I missed the TV news. Also got tired of looking at Mike's smug face alone on Tuesday. I was just kidding.
Starting point is 01:25:08 Mike, but House of the Dragon and X-Men thoughts, Roxy? Good questions. I'm loving House of the Dragon, man. I thought that Sunday was good, really solid, but the previous Sunday I thought was like mind-blowing.
Starting point is 01:25:20 I'm with you. Excellent. I don't watch X-Men animated series. sorry I need to watch I watched episode 1 and 2 I need to finish okay
Starting point is 01:25:32 told me to another hell yes Roxy okay so many trailers dropped today what else did we get what trailers did we get I'm not sure
Starting point is 01:25:43 I don't know Mr. Reyes Michael made over a billion dollars and became the highest grossing biopic ever so when do you think they'll make the sequel Is that true it's the highest ever? Yeah
Starting point is 01:25:51 yesterday recorded it on the show Yeah is it It's amazing to me with that movie. Like, and someone made a point, like, and they got kind of destroyed about it. It doesn't really, it's not in the conversation, like everyday conversation, but here it is just quietly making a billion. Like, it's crazy. Like, we don't talk about it on the show.
Starting point is 01:26:12 We don't, you know. Yeah, no, it's true. It came out. It came out that first weekend. It was quiet. We talked about it. But here it is just going crazy. Well, we talked about it a lot with Roque and I had discussed it because it was going up and then.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Roxy and I talked about it a couple of times as well, too. But it definitely was a quiet billion for sure. And it actually got past Bohemian Rhapsody and then it beat Oppenheimer because Oppenheimer is more like a movie based of a real person. That's where they were counting that off of. And that's what this was. And so, yeah, as far as making another one, I mean, if you're Lion's Gate, you're probably pushing forward to get that thing out as soon as possible.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Yeah. Yeah, agreed with that. I still haven't seen the movie. Mad dog. F. shitty service is scurring me out of money. Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. Sorry. Yeah, past, past life POV.
Starting point is 01:27:03 This is kind of aggressive, this one, and I appreciate you put it $10 in there. I'm just going to say, I'm going to summarize it for you, because you put in money, so I'm going to summarize it for you. That's what you do. You don't read them. I do, but I don't want, like, you can't like fight fire with fire at this thing. You're like trying to like also be it's like I want to said as far as people cry if people cry
Starting point is 01:27:28 you're going to get upset you're watching this movie's going to wind up decimating the box office the awards and culture for the next 20 years sad lonely uh losers you call you he's like look again i get it i understand and this and this is also one of those things where you want to make sure that if people are saying oh it's going to eat shit it's going to eat shit it didn't it didn't and it's not going to eat shit it's going to be super successful successful. But we got to try to be better. Everybody's got to try to be better. And the same way I tell Mike, you know, don't scream and yell people on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:27:57 We've got to try and not scream at people. I don't know. Past Life POV put a crying, laughing face after. So I kind of thought they were doing it in jest. It's to me, it's reading is like funny. It's fine. Yeah. And again, I appreciate it very much so. And I read his comment. I just don't, I just want to, you know, sort of yelling at people. Pattery, I, for the digger trailer looked Willie Wonka level ridiculous. It does, it looks insanely crazy.
Starting point is 01:28:21 It does. It absolutely does. I didn't watch it. I got it. It does. It looks nuts, Rox. It looks like the-oh-I'll watch the trailer. Yeah, it looks like a Cohen Brothers movie, you know, with Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder. Wow, damn, okay. Sean McApe, a very happy birthday, Roxie. I celebrate 43 tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Happy birthday, Sean, you the man. Barbecue at my place on Saturday. Who's interested? I'm sure your barbecues are incredible. Yeah. Great. Ron H. I always knew the pest could act.
Starting point is 01:28:52 Can't wait to see John Legerzamo. Does he offer Odysseus a cat after his dog is good. Let's go, baby. He is really solid in this movie and very well cast in this role. It took me a second. I was like, wait. I realized it was like for one second because I was like, wait, what is that? I think he's excellent.
Starting point is 01:29:12 I knew it was him. And I also, when I knew it was cast, what's he doing? He's perfectly cast. He's perfect. He's great. He's really good. Yeah. Poo.
Starting point is 01:29:21 duene welcome back roxy last month me and the lady spent a long weekend and big bear if you talked it up so much fun thank you with the inspiration i'm so happy to hear that that's awesome awesome you spent some time on the lake um so nice there yeah Luke did you put that picture up because mike's gonna lose his mind if he if he if it is up let me see because this is this is one of this is great did you just make this it's not up there yet look you're like it's hard look look will text me and show me the picture. I'm like, I just can't, I can't upload it. So you got upload it for me and tell me when it's up there. Um, okay. So next one here, Alexander Wilson, Tony Gilroy's new movie Bohemoth teaser just dropped and it's going to get a best
Starting point is 01:30:04 picture now. Wow, Lucasum dropped the ball, not locking him down for a future Star Wars project. Agreed. Agreed. I think they should have, uh, they should have had him do more. They should, they should have him do. Very confident in it. It's going to get a best picture now. Well, I mean, I don't know if you saw it or not. No. No, not you, not you, Alexander Wilson. I mean, but. Oh, he just saw the teaser.
Starting point is 01:30:25 I don't think he's seen that. No, I know. I'm saying. So, I mean, look, maybe the movie is, but I think they should have got him to run age. Happy birthday to rocks. You're always less old than this ancient foots. So cherish that.
Starting point is 01:30:36 That and the fact that most days, you're prettier than Mike. I like these at most days. Not all days. Not all days. It's true. Mike, besides the obvious. Besides the obvious, what would you change about yourself? Me?
Starting point is 01:30:48 Yeah. what would I change about myself? What's the obvious? What's the obvious one? That's the joke. All right. Mike Rios, 1065, is Sam aware of the Star Wars new scenes of digital Tarkin?
Starting point is 01:31:04 So what we've seen, Rogue One, and so she was confused when we watched episode four. Harlock, please tell me, you weren't here last week, please tell me you've seen the picture of you as... Oh, the big fat thing. Oh, dude.
Starting point is 01:31:21 It's hilarious. I couldn't breathe when that came up the other day. Yeah, it's, it's old. It's old, but it's good. I don't know what I like better, though. That picture, which is very funny, by the way. Or this one, which I think I want to get Mike's laughing reaction, which we're about to get, which is going to probably screenshot this, Mike.
Starting point is 01:31:41 Look at the mustache. Look at them. That mustache works for man. somebody get manned that mustache stack this is the best thing i've ever seen that's another podcast that her and i could have we could have that but you know welcome to the barbershop barbershop 100% me and penny barber 100% thank you to look for that was amazing really good that was a great shot um great okay so yes you know we watched episode four it was great sam goes um because uh peter Christian shows up and says, wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:32:20 How is he in this movie at the same age than he was in one? Which is great. I didn't say anything. I just let it go. Christian unpronounceable. Happy birthday to, happy belated birthday to Roxy. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:32:35 Ray. Support. Thank you, Ray. Ron H. Christian, thanks for the reminder. Got to get on Baby Assassins 1 and 2. Watch a trailer. She looks bonkers. She told me about all three of them.
Starting point is 01:32:44 And then there's apparently a TV series that goes into it afterwards. I haven't even heard of it until she told me about it. Joey, what other classic story you think would benefit from the Nolan IMAX treatment? Oh, my goodness. You know, it was funny that you said the biblical thing because when I walked out, I was thinking, like, I would watch him do a Bible movie. I would be super curious. Like, as a story and not a religious text, like I get like not a sacred text. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:33:13 Yeah, that wouldn't go over well, though. No, I just, you're asking. I know. I think of benefit. Also, I do think that they're, speaking of Achilles, like I do think that there's a world he could do the Iliad from here. Sure. Yeah, I'm sure there's other ones that I can think of.
Starting point is 01:33:29 Yeah, I mean, look, but this is what he does. That's great, minus the Batman thing. He moves on. He does something else. I want to see him do a full on. I know that, I know Tenet was a time travel movie. Again, it really was. It was, it was a time travel movie.
Starting point is 01:33:44 I like to see kind of a full force time travel movie for sure. so um but he you know but i guess 10 it was close enough to that they won't do it you know it's it's so funny with him and his discourse of what he's going to do next i remember before the odyssey was coming out do you remember the talk that he was going to do a uh a reboot of blue thunder the helicopter movie no i know i know bond i know bond was that thing no there was talk like he was talking it was like a helicopter movie and people like oh it's going to be a remake of blue thunder with tom holland and matt damon like it's just the discourse where people just you never know what his next one's going to be you just have no idea.
Starting point is 01:34:21 That's part of the excitement too, right? He's the best. Yeah, it's true. Tarantino has that too. Shut up your shills. Perfect. All right. Fucking shills.
Starting point is 01:34:31 Next with that, that way we should, we should cut that out. You should definitely cut that out. It's so funny. Why? No, no, as a clip.
Starting point is 01:34:39 Oh, yeah, please. Yeah, yeah. I see what you're saying. I confused, I confused PLD and Luke with that last week, too, when you said, where is it when this clip, which is where the hell is it? It's a good one. I got to find it. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Oh, yeah, I remember. A titty shake from the ladies? I said, clip that out. And then Luke and PLD were confused. Like, well, you want us to get rid of it out of the show? I'm like, no. I don't even know. Titty shake from the ladies. You know what I was talking about. Do you ever? No. All right. 96 questions
Starting point is 01:35:09 so far. Ron H. So Mike is saying he's a loser? No, no, not so. When did you say that? Me? Yeah. Fuzzy bubbles. Coming down with a case of, you know, glaucoma. Oh, okay. I can't see my ass going to work on Friday so I can see Odyssey. Well done. Ron H. 4. Mike to win, he needs to pull a page out of my book. Pull down pants down and shake it all about. Let's go Mike.
Starting point is 01:35:30 That'll get us kick off the air. Do the hokey pokey. Yeah, Michael Zee. Yo, Mike, 24 call. They want their Windows 6 feedback here. He hasn't had any problems with it yet since it happened. Yeah, true. Crashing Coyote. It's back. Sorry, I've been here recently. I just got back from London. And where is that? Ibiza. Oh, Ibiza.
Starting point is 01:35:47 watching England, Mexico World Cup in London Pub was insane with those wankers. I'll be hung over for a week. And when is the Kickstarter starting? It's my birthday, way. Great question. Happy birthday. Roxy doesn't know this yet because she hasn't been here. We signed on the guy who's going to be running the Kickstarter.
Starting point is 01:36:06 And he, I'm actually getting on a phone call with him at 230 today. He's designing the page right now. We launch in the beginning of September. and we will be going on for 30 days. So we'll be ready to go. Yep. Royce. Sherlock.
Starting point is 01:36:25 The problem with team politics now is that it would be one thing if it was just people on the internet. But even now actors like Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem have jumped on that bandagon as well. Yeah, I know. It's like, look, it's one thing. It's like there's, you know how my stance on this. I talked about it's over. It's just like, I think people on their own social media platforms that they want. to talk about politics and do these other things, it's up to them.
Starting point is 01:36:49 But it's like, it just in certain aspects, I think it can hurt people. And like, that's why Will Wheaton, who I like, I think was an imbecile for what he, when he called out the Rock in the way that he did. There's an imbecile. I don't even know what you're talking about. Will Wheaton basically called the Rock out and said that he called the Rock a coward because the Rock doesn't use this platform to speak up about politics. it's not that's not that's not
Starting point is 01:37:16 his right to do it's not his right that's not his right to call the rock out you can be disappointed oh sure is this is his opinion why is it not his right to do that i shouldn't say sorry bad trust awards it's it's not he's you disagree with the rock the rock is not obligated to talk no he's not you can have the opinion that you're disappointed but to call him a coward because he doesn't do so
Starting point is 01:37:40 that's kind of what i meant on it um It's, it's, it's, you can have an opinion on it, but it's, but again, your opinion can also, I can have an opinion about your opinion. I think your opinion is a hundred percent. Uh, Ray, in and out or five guys. What do you, what do you order? Oh, it's in and out all day long. I don't like either of them that much. Oh, man. I love it. Double double style. I honestly, I go five guys. Me too. I just think, but five guys is ridiculously expensive. It is, it is insanely, five guys fries are the. fucking best. At least their in and out fries are not decent. No, they're not at all. And people I think in and out for the bang for your buck with in and out, you get a good deal.
Starting point is 01:38:22 Yeah, see, this is the thing. Fries are incredible. This is the thing that people are, like, always shake their head of me when I say and I get it. I don't really care about fries. Sure. I mean, they get it. Yeah. I just, I'm all about the burger. I'll tell you with we went, we, I took my kids to the, uh, take. I know.
Starting point is 01:38:40 I took my, the Moana. thing. And on the way back at Penn Station, we stopped at Shake Shack. And I don't know if it was just because I was because I was really, man, that Shake Shack burger was good. Shake Shack's fucking great. Oh, shit. That was really. I just learned something. And I know they've got their secret menu, but I had my buddy the other day. It's like, oh, man, you got to go fucking go in and out and you got to get four flying Dutchmen. I'm like, flying Dutchman. I go, you're a grown ass fucking man. You go to the counter and you say, I like a flying Dutchman. I fucking lost it. Like, I know, stupid but it's funny plusy bubbles a l die up it's not a good option anymore mike hey it's been great
Starting point is 01:39:17 shut your house it's been it's been good since it had the problem i don't know what happened here armada christmas did you ask penny if she's doing box lunch pod with mike that's right that's box lunch pod you wouldn't do that yes i would no you wouldn't you and have a relationship afterwards also happy birthday roxy um what's box lunch pod i think it's the relationship you hear about that it's my podcast with with penny we're going to start her and i no no who are calling a box lunch no i think it's an actual isn't that the isn't that the podcast that they do where the two people have people on then they bang them afterwards i don't know i went to you and i joked i i i told you i t i fooled you into thinking i was
Starting point is 01:39:56 getting a podcast with penny calling it box lunch oh did you see i don't remember anything you don't remember shit you old bastard that's fair interesting jake 12 is matt damon a lock for best performance down in your guys opinion yes does anyone steal the move movie. Hamish Fertel was great. Great. And every scene he was in. Love you guys. Can't wait to see this movie. Can't wait to hear you know what? You think he's a lock to win best performance? Uh, no. He just says a lot. He's a lot. I think he did not lock to be nominated. I haven't seen everybody before. I haven't seen everybody. I haven't seen everybody yet. So, but is he locked to get on? Ryan Gosson will be nominated. Um, for sure. Um, so yeah, go pal. Christian literally rolling out. It was hilarious. That was those typical.
Starting point is 01:40:39 Read it out loud. It was classic Mike. Um, comic lover. Hey guys, my girl's mother is a Ryan. Crazy fun that has snow and laughs. She did a five-year bid like a champ. Great prison stories. Anyway, can't stay. Gotta take her to a parole officer. Wish her luck. Are you guys convinced that comic lover and Ron H are the same person? Yes. Me too. I think he has two accounts. Yes. I think he has two accounts. Mr. James Bond tube. Starfighter won't be good. Avengers Doom's Day won't be good. Avengers Secret Wars won't be good. Can't wait for my validation. And masturbation. is perfectly healthy. I have absolutely nothing wrong with this comment whatsoever. I think it's negative. I think it's pessimistic. I have nothing wrong with, because there was nothing else afterwards that came from it where that was insulting or anything else too. And I'll tell you this. Did anybody say masturbation wasn't healthy? He's ends on a high note. So he's got to give credit. He is on a high note, 100%. Yeah. Yeah. True. Iyoshi. Yamatsu petition for a Christian after dark stream, Mike and Roxy. I mean, we might be about
Starting point is 01:41:41 make that happen. Roxy, can you imagine you and I like an after dark podcast? I know. That would be stunning. Why don't we try? I'm going to try to bring you guys on to do some extra shows during the Kickstarter.
Starting point is 01:41:53 Roxy, do you drink? You do, don't you? Have you stopped? What? I haven't, I haven't partied with you in a while.
Starting point is 01:41:59 Are you still a drink? But we just had a drink together when Christian was here. Yeah. I drank. Right. Okay. What if we did it and it was like you and I drinking? Because I don't drink a lot if anyone knows me.
Starting point is 01:42:08 I either go hard in the paint or I don't do anything at all. But if a podcast with you and I'd kick back some. That would be very fun. Woo. That's something. Yeah. Well, listen. Anyway,
Starting point is 01:42:20 if we can do something during the Kickstarter. I have a channel, Mike. Let's talk. Okay. Christian, put us on shore, but.
Starting point is 01:42:29 Fine. You do your own thing. But I'm saying, but I'm saying also during that 30, during that 30 days, we should do something. Yeah. Maybe that's,
Starting point is 01:42:37 those are the pilot episodes. And then you can take it on to your channel afterwards. something to discuss. Smog, howdy, governors. I know it's been said, but RIP to Sam Neal, yeah, terrible. Oh, yeah. You know somebody always dies on my birthday? Is that true?
Starting point is 01:42:53 Yeah. Oh, that's horrible. His performance in possession is underrated. He will be missed. He totally will be 100%. Yeah. Mike Joyce, Roxy, have you been listening to the music from the Vampire Listad? Stained Glass Eyes is my favorite.
Starting point is 01:43:08 It's been stuck in my head since I first heard it. So fucking good. You love that show, right? Love that show. Love the music this season. It's amazing what Sam Reed's doing. All right. Next one. 28 Vosco. Honeycrisp. F yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:23 Oh, it's the best. I have a honey crisp apple tree, actually? But have you gone into sugar bees yet? What's that mean? Okay, so honey crisps were my favorite. I don't know if sugarbees have made their way to the East Coast yet. There's an apple here now called Sugarbees. It tastes like even better than a honey crisp.
Starting point is 01:43:39 I'm obsessed with them. If you see it. Buy it. Okay. Honeybees. No. Oh. Sugar.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Sugar beef. Sugar. Sugar. Sugar. Sugar. Sugar. Right. Red Carver.
Starting point is 01:43:49 Thank you, Sam. Since this stream got derailed, I might as well derail it further. What do we think of the French fries as a euphemism? Yeah. Oxi can hopefully explain it. Yeah, explain that. You guys don't watch Love Island? No.
Starting point is 01:44:04 Never will. Do you guys know anything about the show? Only from what? I know what it is. Only from what I hear from you. So sometimes on the show, if you go into a place called The Hideaway, you, this is all too, insider baseball, but you don't have to, the cameras aren't there. So they don't see if you have sex or whatever you're doing. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:44:27 And so I think, and Sammy, correct me if I'm wrong, the girls, like, use French fry. I don't know whether it's specifically for having sex or, but sometimes when they, like, hook up, they'll be like, yeah, we French fry. Maybe it's like specifically oral or something. Did you French fry? French fry. I don't know exactly what it is that they're referencing, but they have used it all season for a sexual. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:44:51 All right, fair enough. Well, where's the next one? I think it comes from Trinity, right, Sam? You let me know. Okay, let's go back down here now too. Sorry. And we got this. Think about it.
Starting point is 01:45:06 Roxy is the biggest TV consumer of the group. Have you seen the Pendrickon Psycher, of Merlin, a new epic fantasy show retelling Arthurian legend of Merlin. Great production, good writing, and story. I haven't heard of that. Sorry, where is it? Not sure.
Starting point is 01:45:23 Huh. Okay, let's see. Next one after that. Oh, wait, look at this. Cowboy, you missed the joint. What do you say, Tempin? Listen, you got a new guy in here, crutchy. The gimp? I'll get them for you.
Starting point is 01:45:41 good job okay in the chat pld said to french fry intimate hand stimulation specifically fingering or manual foreplay because french fries are good finger foods
Starting point is 01:45:52 of course plde knows that oh no I'm guessing you can't perfect timing fucking goooner yeah perfect
Starting point is 01:46:05 perfect timing for pieldy all right let's see um okay mike roxy those really drunk scotch you post on instant my parents were born
Starting point is 01:46:14 where in Boston a month ago and they said they were everywhere. Those Scots are crazy. Yeah, they have a tradition where on top of, in Scotland, it's on a different statue, but in Boston since they've been there, they put an orange cone on top of Paul Revere's head when they're shit-faced and it's hard to climb up to and they were blackout drunk and climb to the top and I videoed it. It was hysterical. Go, pal.
Starting point is 01:46:37 Gail Daltrey is the new Zoe Deutsche movie. Yes, thank you. Thank you. Mustafa, Egwin. Do you guys use the term cinema? We use it here in Australia more than we do theater. Then, on a separate note, who are your favorite House the Dragon characters?
Starting point is 01:46:51 I don't use cinema too much, but I hear people do it for sure. Yeah, definitely is more so, I think, outside of the country. Like, I'm going to go to the cinema? Yeah. I've heard, I mean, people use it, but it's not as much as like the movies or the movie theater. My favorite House of the Dragon character.
Starting point is 01:47:07 Well, right now, I mean, well, Damon, for sure. But, like, I keep rooting for Renera. she's making some stupid decisions but I really I do like the character very much but she makes some really dumb decisions do you not think Damon makes some stupid decisions of course in a different way in a different way
Starting point is 01:47:27 the decision that he just made recently in the last episode was dumb but I get it she's making dumb decisions that I don't get yeah I hear you on that you know I'm saying yeah for sure she like I'll just say the quote like without and then like the corallus thing i i don't get that you don't get it she's she's my favorite not
Starting point is 01:47:50 as in like i'm aligned with her but i just think her performance and everything oh she's been nominated she should be nominated yesterday oh good ron h oops the weed hit hard i just meant july 16 that's fair uh odi 15 i was worried at first no one was going to be do a realistic take been happy to hear the mythological elements are present it was it was my problem my problem with troyd no yeah it's there it's there and it's it's creepy as hell and it's really well fun there are points of this movie that feel like a horror film there's no doubt it's not just one it's not just the cyclops no no no no there's there's a there's quite a few uh christian unpronounceable support thank you christian mike joy's gail d'artre is a quick as a great fun quirky comedy
Starting point is 01:48:35 basically retelling of the wizard of Oz is a raunchy comedy oh that's interesting definitely worth checking out all right i'll check it out well yeah yeah i want to see it Mustafa. Talk to me about Hollywood high school films and bullying in them. It's hard for us in Australia to relate.
Starting point is 01:48:50 Bullying in America seems more severe. I mean, I mean, depends. In high school? Like in the, like the 80s type movies?
Starting point is 01:48:57 I mean, it depends on what movies, like what area is talking about, you know? Now I feel like it's so online. Mean girls. Yeah. And Rox is right.
Starting point is 01:49:06 Yeah. It's a little more online. Bullying in America is extremely severe, though, for sure. Yeah. Are you talking like, talking about Hollywood
Starting point is 01:49:14 High School films and bullying them like it was more comical and less you know what it is online now it's very different back then it was
Starting point is 01:49:24 a plot device and right it's true very easy to tell who the good guys and the bad guys were yes Roxy do you know
Starting point is 01:49:30 anything about Anya Teller Joy's new show coming out tomorrow it looks interesting um lucky right I think I saw
Starting point is 01:49:39 people were at the premiere of this it's the Apple TV show those are the only things I know about it. I love Anya Taylor Joy. I think that the Apple makes great shows. That's kind of the extent of what I know, though. I haven't heard anything personally. Timbino, how was a little big score? Better than Oppenheimer? I liked it better than Oppenheimer score. The Oppenheimer score was really, really good. But I think it's, it, they both
Starting point is 01:50:00 fit the purpose. Yes. Yeah, they both fit the purpose. James Wheeler. Happy birthday to my fellow Mastole. Roxy. Thank you, James. Very kind. Thanks. Armada. They did a Troy Netflix series that I've heard is more faithful to the Iliad poem. Also, there's a Troy director's cut, too. It's not bad. You know what also is fascinating to me? I didn't realize how many people are diehard fans of the
Starting point is 01:50:25 Elliot poem. It's like, you better be faithful. I mean, look, like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. I get it. That man. Right. How many people were so like, you know what? That I'll be it. That alien, me, that didn't change my life. If they ever make anything, they've never
Starting point is 01:50:43 not change a damn thing. Like how many people are, you know, it's, it's like, people are selective on what they really want to be protective of. Yeah. That's facts. So Brooklyn. Mike, favorite little rascal, spanky, right? Good.
Starting point is 01:50:59 It's good. Who is that? Is that Mike on the, taking pictures of himself? Is that me? No. No. I don't know who that is. Uh, P. Shetty.
Starting point is 01:51:08 I'm getting 80s flashback lives with Mike's internet. Call him Mike Hedroom. Matthew Broder, had better and more games. That's really good. Obi-Wan Canoli. K.O., who did you dread playing most in the IG? Was it Smash, Rachel, Chandra, or someone else?
Starting point is 01:51:23 Oxy, you look beautiful. Thank you. Not for a reason as far as, like, I don't know my knowledge, but Chandrew was a big one because he was. Because he was such a good heel. Yeah. And I knew, like, I knew with Smets or Rachel, if I lost, we would be on camera,
Starting point is 01:51:43 it backstage and be great. Like, Chandrew was a, it was a an overall. He was a method actor. Yeah, he was so good at what he did. He was. So like, it was just like, you just like, you motherfucker. Like to lose that. Also, so above and beyond sweet. I was just going to say, he's such
Starting point is 01:52:01 a sweetheart. Because for a very long time, I want to say, leading up to our thing was all digital. So you didn't have that backstage camaraderie. You just so at i think it was at scum and villainy can'tina like you know and again shannon was my manager but she's also my girlfriend yeah but she fell in love with chandrew and like i did too and i remember we went to barney's beating one day afterwards and we're just like you're such a good good dude
Starting point is 01:52:25 like even after i beat him and i beat him and you know what that meant but he was just like such a good dude so it took a while for us to become friends because it was all digital for a while and that was like this but yeah but yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Okay, let's see. I want to see, I'm trying to see if there's any way. Apparently, I'm still, I'm still looking. Pilding there are a couple here that says that we might have missed. I know, I saw that too.
Starting point is 01:52:52 Mike Joyce, my, oh, oh, go back to that one. Just I can peel you, hold on. Oh, keep that one, fine. Go, pal. Do people pronounce Hamish Patel as Hamish? Himish Patel? Is it Hamish? Is it Hamish Patel?
Starting point is 01:53:09 Is that how you do it? I don't know. I've only heard Hamish, but. I guess maybe it's Hymish. Yeah, I go. HMash, maybe. I don't know. Got it.
Starting point is 01:53:17 All right. Well, I'll say him. All right. Let's see. Next one after that. Where is it? No, I did that. Did that?
Starting point is 01:53:29 Is it? Derek, did you miss my first support? I don't think so. Did we get it PILT? Yeah, we got the first one. We've done three bits of support from you, DJ. Yeah. I think we got the first one, DJ.
Starting point is 01:53:40 And we raved about it. Yeah, we did. It's huge. Thank you. No, we covered it. And thank you very much for throwing on there and may appeal that if you want to find it again in the first one. Michael D. Happy birthday, belated birthday to Roxy.
Starting point is 01:53:56 Thank you. There you go. Armada saw Evil Dead burn and the young person next to me was on IG for the second half of the movie with full brightness. So annoying. I'm scared. I saw some critics post out about that there was a thing that happened at the screening that she was at the fact that that's at a screening i saw someone to post that too like that's insane that's fucking that's a horror movie it's the worst too it's like
Starting point is 01:54:19 takes away all the stakes yeah um yeah it does it sucks i guess i've just been loving oh no that's that's another one right there there there you go thank in my movie watching i have not had any big issues the biggest probably let them let them keep going okay uh um Armada You got a lot. Wait, no Achilles? That's odd. I know. He didn't fight in Troy.
Starting point is 01:54:44 Tony, snark. You played the Polo loco spot. You can play Baywatch. No, it did. One's copyright, one's not. Oh. Yeah. Josh Gonzalez.
Starting point is 01:54:53 Hot take. I don't care about Lepeda, but I don't care about Alec Guinness playing. But I don't care about Alec Guinness playing in Arabian, Lawrence, for Arabia, or Brando playing a Mexican. It works for the movie. Yeah. There you go.
Starting point is 01:55:04 Armada. How was the end credits, Sampraodesty? You know, I don't even think I listened to it. I think he just ran out the theater. I wanted to, anyone get caught in traffic. It wasn't my favorite part of the movie. Okay.
Starting point is 01:55:14 I didn't even know what it was. It wasn't horrible, but it just, it wasn't my favorite part of the movie. Josh Joe Gonzalez, my problem is people tend to be inconsistent with who they allow to play who. If it makes the movie better,
Starting point is 01:55:25 then I'll always be fine with it. I get very frustrated with that, Joshua as well. Yeah, it's intelligent way to look at things. Paul Hitchcock. Digger will either be phenomenal or a bad S&L skit.
Starting point is 01:55:37 It's fair. That's fair. Yeah. Mike Valenzuela. Mike, we'll love to see you crush a role in a franchise like donkeys in space. He-ha.
Starting point is 01:55:47 Yeah, it'll be good to see him do that. You don't think that would be great? Is there a movie called don't know? I don't know. Yeah. Is that a picture of Mike looking down and wanking it? No, no, no, no. I love that that's where your mind goes.
Starting point is 01:56:05 But that's... He's looking down, wanking it. Does that even look like me? Is this thing working? Rochester. We'd love to see Nolan doing Cooper's Long Loss Paradise Lost Project. Me too. I mean, look, look, let's see him do anything.
Starting point is 01:56:18 I can see him do anything. Joe for show, waiting for Spider-Man to come out and going to have a double feature with the Odyssey. But that's going to be a long, great day, fun day. But I mean, I'm excited for Spider-Man. Armada. Mike's Leto Gucci and Mance interview Penny. One million views. Yep.
Starting point is 01:56:35 Yep. Ron H. The Ten Commandments, 1956, is an awesome epic. Can this film be redone or does it risk souring the original? I mean, you always have the original. You always have it. You're never going to sour an original movie for me. It's like, unless they try, you can't sour the original.
Starting point is 01:56:51 Splitting of the C still looks incredible. So let it be written. So let it be done. I mean, that's kind of what Roxy was saying. You know, if you saw like, you know, do like the Ten Commandants. Yeah. Go, pal. This was the big English accent tell from bail on Batman and Dark Night Rises.
Starting point is 01:57:06 they'll correct someone saying it's pronounced ibiza oh got it that's right i remember that i remember that because they have that uh spaniards with the list right ergo 4512 if the oscars were from today through the beginning of the year do you think indy from obsession will be nominated for oscar or even win based on what's out of rate she should definitely be nominated she should definitely be nominated um i don't know if they were from from if it was from today through the beginning of the year. I mean, that's essentially what it is. It's the beginning of the year. I definitely think she's going to be nominated. Me too.
Starting point is 01:57:41 I think so. She should. Andrew Sanchez. Who was, who was better? Spider-Man or Batman in the Odyssey? Wait, who was? Pattinson. Oh, that's right. The Batman. Sorry. I think Spider-Man. I thought Pattinson.
Starting point is 01:57:55 Patinson's amazing in it. He was a great villain. He's amazing in it. I just think that Tom Holland was so I'll say Batman. I love Tom Holland. He was, Tom Holland was good, but I like Patton's performance.
Starting point is 01:58:08 Patton was great. I think he had more, I think he had more to do for sure. Erigo, do you think we're going to see a Doom State trailer soon? Kind of surprised they haven't shown anything yet. I'm not because they're, I think we're going to see.
Starting point is 01:58:20 Comic Con or wait for Spider-Man to be. Let's get Spider-Man out of the way. Put the focus on, you know, on Spider-Man first. Armada, is there a lot of gods? Don't say if you can't. Don't want to say anything. DUI champ
Starting point is 01:58:34 One of the super chatters complaining about Ruffalo and Bordem crying about politics Taylor Sheridan, Gibson, grammar also a lot of it's... Again, I feel the same about everybody who, you know, it's like you make your own path
Starting point is 01:58:45 and you just, you can do it in a certain way and you can do it in a different way. It's up to them. When do tickets go on sale for what, PILD? For what, Spider-Man? I was suggesting that maybe the trailer it came out when the dooms ticket tickets go on sale
Starting point is 01:59:01 before SDCC. Got it, got it. Thank you. Go Pal, I think you missed some. I put one of one Hamish. Did we get the Hamish one? Yeah, we got that one. We're hearing that it's Hamish.
Starting point is 01:59:12 Hamish. Hamish. It's fresh. That's right. Ron H. Comic lover has guns, muscle arms. I wear no pants. Comic loves snow.
Starting point is 01:59:21 I'm all about the weed. We're totally different people. Really, really. I'm not buying it. I think, unless this is kind of like a primal fear type thing. Arago, did you hear for the HBO series test? They're putting in the same universe as Mayor of East Town for season two. colloid. I did hear this. Roxie, did you hear this?
Starting point is 01:59:35 I did. I didn't know, but I only saw it in like a little Instagram square and I didn't look into it further. So I guess one of the cops that was in mayor is going to be in task season two and they're going to cross it over, which is great, which means that hopefully we get a mayor because I really liked task. I mean, I loved the task. I loved it,
Starting point is 01:59:53 but I love mayor. So both, I want to see. I really like both shows as well. Me too. It could be like the new true detective. Armada, favorite creed songs. Oh, man. Um, one that immediately comes to me too. I don't know that I know that many creed songs.
Starting point is 02:00:10 Lincoln West was that little smet with Batman. I sure was. They always even hanging on the side of a, of a building. Yep. I sure was. Comic letter, Ron H.
Starting point is 02:00:20 brother from another mother doing burpees in the parking lot. My girl's mom is meeting for all of a star as hot as balls. Haps, yeah, happy birthday. I'm telling you. He's talking. I know.
Starting point is 02:00:28 Brother from the same mother, same person. Nathan Drake. Mike. Great Penny's dress. from that new Christian clip. Oh, I have to see it again. Well, the picture itself.
Starting point is 02:00:42 Do you? Of course he does. You want to see the picture? Because the video is the same thing. So it is the picture. Okay. All right. I would already that.
Starting point is 02:00:54 Mama Mia. That's it. I give it out of 10 Mamma Mia's. Ten to Mamma Mia's out of ten. I think it's a gym dress. I actually think I own that dress. Yeah. There you go.
Starting point is 02:01:05 Big T. 2495 Mike, I love you, but Christian needs to get on to silo. Silo's on the, Silo's on the thing. I'm going to watch Bear. Do you watch Bear season, the last season, rocks? Of course. I watched it in one day. Oh, wow. And did you love it? Loved. Love. I got to watch. Loved.
Starting point is 02:01:20 I watched episode one. So, um, okay. PLD, projects, prawn, loving, dummy, but he's our dummy. And he's the hero this chat needs. Yeah, true. Brooklyn. Mike, favorite baseball team, Yankees, right? Obi-Won and Canoli. Ha-ha, Smiths gave the same answer, which was Chandra. That's why we need a smash K over Chandry and Parker. Superface for a super heel matchout. You could have back in the day.
Starting point is 02:01:46 Back in the day. Comic lover. I was bullied once, waited until he went to the bathroom and had a three-piece conversation with his face. Spend a few years fighting until landed in Juvie. Oops. Hey, listen, bullying is the shits. And, you know, you fight it back, you fight back. Von H. Mike's favorite phrase.
Starting point is 02:02:03 I like mashurbating, right? Masher reading what? Ayoshi, Yomatsu. Roxy, Felice, Cubrianos, and welcome back. Yeah. Thank you, Ryoshi. Two left. Ron H. Oh, three left.
Starting point is 02:02:18 Excuse me. Found the new place. Sinistars took over some places for the company called Guzo over here near Montreal. My new go-to place for films. I wonder how many movies you see in a week. Michael D. Poor P.D. Always thrown under the bus.
Starting point is 02:02:31 Look at that picture, PLD. That's hilarious. That's really good. That's a good one. That's a really good one. Last one. Smile. Going to see Odyssey on the weekend. Can't wait.
Starting point is 02:02:40 Glad you enjoyed it, Christian. Roxy, love the Hollywood background. Keep killing it. Mike, are you Italian, bro? A half. What's the other half? Polish. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:02:49 Call and Al. All right. You're right. Roxy. It's good to have you. Where can they find? Everywhere at Roxy Stryor, I have some good announcements coming up on the acting side of things.
