Starting point is 00:00:01 Hulk Hogan, wrestling legend, passes at 71 years old, cardiac arrest, talk about the Hulkster, and again, I guess the legacy, at least behind, talk about that, and what a crazy week it's been with the, I guess a lot of my childhood, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, and now Hulk Hogan. So not the lightest of topics, but we're going to discuss that. we'll switch into the normal stuff too Chris Hemsworth apparently is going to be the second lead in Avengers Doomsday. How's that
Starting point is 00:00:36 going to work? James Gunn clarifies his comments on both Shazam and Black Adam. There's a couple new trailers, Five Nights at Freddy's, one battle after another, which I reacted to. So that and more with myself and the great Steph Sabra.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Let's get into it, everybody. It's a Christian Arloff show. It's here. It's today. The hell is today. It's a Thursday. That's right. Welcome back to the show, everybody, today on this Tuesday, Tuesday. I just said, I literally just said Thursday. Now I say Tuesday again. Joining me on the show, Steph Sabraa. Hello, Steph. Hi. I said, looking like a superhero today, Steph.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Oh, I need to work on my pose. Okay, maybe like. What are we got? That's a great superhero. She's so cute. She can't kick my ass. And then it's like, blah, ba, And then she beats the piss. My nails come out. It's true.
Starting point is 00:01:41 So I just watched, the other day I told you I watched your video. Steph has her first video. It's up on her channel. I'll make sure that Luke puts the link for that channel. It's already in the description of the video, but we'll put it in the live chat. So you can see.
Starting point is 00:01:55 It's been very helpful. I'm trying. I'm learning and I told him. I was like the first like few weeks is just like kind of getting stuff out there. Like you see I'm not doing much promoting. I'm just kind of working. on what the looking at YouTube analytics learning it getting Christians advice and then moving forward that's it I told you that it's like stand up your first year you just work on your stuff and you'll
Starting point is 00:02:20 hate your set a year later totally and you just do things and you keep changing it up but like you know you mess around with things and and if I'm getting if I ever get too much you're just like I get it leave me alone don't no no no I love it I actually because maybe I was an athlete who had like the worst coaches ever I'm so good at criticism I love it It was just it was just little things. It's not even criticism. He's giving like pointers, which is so helpful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:45 No, it's amazing. Stuff that I was that I was doing. And I still do wrong all the time that people said, hey, try this, try that, try this, try that. And look, some things you'll try and some things you won't. But nonetheless, you got it launched. You and Brett both have your channels launched. It's great.
Starting point is 00:03:03 So we'll continue to watch the growth. Yes. What a crappy week it is for us, right? You get the passing of the great Ozzy Osbourne, Malcolm Jamal Warner, and then today, The Hulkster gone at 71 years old. Hulk Hogan wrestling icon passes away in his house of Clearwater. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has died at age 71 following a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home earlier this morning. Newsweek has confirmed. Hulk Hogan's manager
Starting point is 00:03:39 Linda Bose told Newsweek Thursday that she was heartbroken over the loss of the star. Unfortunately, we must confirm that Terry Belia, aka Hulk Hogan, passed away this morning. She said, we are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and a friend. Prominent figures have begun to share tributes to the wrestler. What to know, Clearwater Police Department said the emergency crews responded to the 9.51 a.m. 911 call at Hogan's home in Clearwater Beach. the nature of the call was for cardiac arrest. They said in a statement, adding that Hogan has been taken to Morton Plant Hospital
Starting point is 00:04:10 where he's pronounced deceased. His wife, Sky, had recently denied rumors of a coma saying his heart was strong. Hogan and recovering from neck surgery performed in May. Speculation about his health had circulated for weeks, including deathbed rumors. Born, Terry, Jean Balea. Hogan was a central figure in wrestling's rise during the 80s and 90s. Now, the one thing you'd get out of the way up top, right, is that, yeah, Yes, over the last, I'd say 10 years, maybe more,
Starting point is 00:04:38 Hulk Hogan has been a very kind of polarizing controversial figure in not just the political landscape, not just, you know, the things that, stupid things that he said on, and quite frankly racist things that he said on tape and other things of that nature. No one's trying to either whether defend or any of those things at this point. I mean, there's tons of being. And we also talk about the wrestling side of it.
Starting point is 00:05:07 He's controversial outside of that stuff with wrestling and what the things that he did, politics and all. And I don't mean actual backstage politics, things that he's done. Put it, put it aside for now. The man was a wrestling icon. He was a pop culture icon. There is no one that can convince me otherwise that without Hulk Hogan, you do not get Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Starting point is 00:05:34 don't get the rock. You don't get any of these people because the business became worldwide and became massive off the shoulders and the back of Hulk Hogan. It was, do you know, do you know the story of kind of how that all came to be, Steph? No, I actually, you know, I'm not a wrestling person. And so, yeah. Okay. So essentially what it happened. Yeah, tell me about it. So the WWE was the WWF back then. It was run by Vince McMahon's dad. And Hulk Hogan was a heel at the time, and he was fighting other people, too. And then he, I think he might have gone Babyface at one point, but whatever it might be. He wanted to, and this is at the time where wrestling had territories, right?
Starting point is 00:06:17 It was not like today you think of wrestling, you think at WW, you think of WW. But there were territories where each, like, different place had, like, whether it was Tennessee or, you know, New York or, you know, the East Coast. The WWE had a lot of the East Coast territories, right? But there was no massive thing. It was like taboo to even talk about trying to make it a big old, you know, one monopoly type thing. So Hulk Hogan was with the WW. I think it might have still been the WWF at that point.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Either way, while Vince McMahon Sr. was running it. And Hogan wanted to leave to do Rocky 3. and senior is like, no, you can't do that. You work for me. Hokes like, I'm not passing this up. I'm leaving. Movie blows up. He blows up.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Becomes big, big way. I think he went to, I can't remember what, he went, AWA maybe, he went to a different territory, whatever it might be. So fast forward, Vince McMahon, takes, junior, takes over the WWF, brings Hogan back. And this is like 1984. The Iron Sheik was like. heel champion. Hogan comes back into Madison's Secret Garden after the popularity of Rocky 3, comes into the eye of the Tigers thing, wins the title, and takes the WWF into a place
Starting point is 00:07:42 that had never been before. At that point, the territories then became mainstream. Vince McMahon, because of the popularity and the things of Hulk Hogan was starting to do, started to pluck stars from all over these territories and essentially collapse these territories and turn the W.D.F. into it was. It was 1985, WrestleMania that was everything that they kind of put everything. They put everything that they had into WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden with Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, versus Roddy Piper and Cowboy Bob Orden in a main event tag team match with celebrities everywhere.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Like, Muhammad Ali was there, Cindy Lopper. It was like, it was this big, massive pop culture thing. And it turned the WWF into this huge, huge entity. And it was Hogan, who was the star of the show. And he was the star from like 84,
Starting point is 00:08:36 really until like 1990. He was the champion for a very long time. He lost the title like a couple different times, but they kept giving it back to him because nobody really could take his place. And he continued, he really was like the in the difference now wrestling has changed so dramatically that in that era when Hulk Hogan was on top, it was treated almost like a Saturday morning cartoon right and holk hogan was like the vision of like an ultimate good guy the say your prayers eat your vitamins like all that stuff and it was they did cartoons off of it and he was the first real wrestler to cross over into that mainstream more so than bruno sam martino did before him more so like it was just like this he was everybody knew the name of holk hogan so he set he really set it up like everybody
Starting point is 00:09:22 even even people who have talked about him now that aren't fans of him like i i think of like Seth Rollins, who said, look, growing up, how do you not watch Hulk Hogan? How do you know that he was the guy? He comes back even and so many different things of what he did. He leaves the WWF when it looked like his time was done and they were kind of replacing him. This was in the early 90s. And it looked like he was going to retire and just wanted to go into acting. And instead of doing that, Eric Bischoff, who had taken control of the WCW at that point, decided he wanted to try to get Hogan back. and try to get Hogan into and make an arrival thing,
Starting point is 00:10:00 because no one was dethroning the WF at that point, Hogan became their number one attraction piece. And it got WCW back on the map and started to have them compete. And then when they really took off as they made the move of turning Hogan heel when he had been the ultimate good guy for so long, then he became the ultimate bad guy. And WCW then took over and beat the WWF in RACF in RACA, for weeks upon weeks upon weeks in the Monday night wars and Hogan again was the
Starting point is 00:10:32 centerpiece of that eventually WCW went under and a lot of that was a lot of the politics that Hulk Hogan was doing behind the scenes and he got himself involved in a lot of the booking and selfishly stuff and again getting away then you fast forward to and I'm leaving out some of the stuff that had happened in the 80s with steroid trials and all these other things that had happened right too but There's tons of it. There's just so much of it. But Hocke, because of the relationship we had with Vince McMahon, comes
Starting point is 00:11:03 back to the WWF. This is, because I was working there in 2001. He came back after I, I never, I, I, I met him once, but it was in Vegas. It had nothing to do with WWE. So, he comes back again, now much older,
Starting point is 00:11:18 and doesn't headline the WrestleMania where he fights the Rock, but it's the match of the night. Him and him and the Rock, the Rock's on, is in his prime at this point, fights Hogan, who is the icon, and they have this legendary match that was one of the best matches of all time. So he does it again, you know, and he becomes, yet again, what he did for the business in general, you can't argue with it. You certainly, and are allowed to and warrant to have your opinions on things that he's done. There's no argument,
Starting point is 00:11:49 but you cannot argue the impact that this man had on professional wrestling and in pop culture. I don't know how you feel about this stuff yeah i think um it's it's one of those like classic separating the artist from the art and um it i you know i don't know much about wrestling but i do know his name and i do know his face and i do know like the ripping shirts and i've seen kids enact it and like um it's cool to think about the joy that he's brought in that sense um yeah it's uh i feel what I will say is like yeah I can unempathize
Starting point is 00:12:29 with people who were just fans of just his wrestling and kind of that legacy and then also people who were fans and kind of are upset by how the legacy ended and that's a bummer but definitely I feel I send love and
Starting point is 00:12:45 prayers to people who loved him and that's a huge loss for people and that's a bummer like 71 I will say with him and Ozzy I think that's a pretty good life considering the the wear and tear to the body 100% for looking at both it to you know in different ways where Ozzy very very well documented that all the drug and stuff that he had and alcohol and all that there was only so long that his body was going to hold up and this is hogan
Starting point is 00:13:13 with the amount of steroids and everything that he right body is only so long i was talking my buddy about it this morning and really it's amazing that he made it to 71 to be honest with you because he was i mean he was a monster i mean he was an absolute monster like how big how big he was and like he was he was massive the 24 inch pythons and all that it's like and then when you know again you go into when he basically lied and they they asked him on arsino hall if he'd ever done surveys he said no um and then years later that generation was just like i've been you're i because i was growing up you know with the um the maguire like the baseball generation of massive steroids Deroid, like, I remember, you know, like, because in the early 90s in the early 2000s,
Starting point is 00:13:59 those, like big, big, like sports eras were blowing up. You know, the internet was created. Things were, like, really popularized in a whole new way. And then, like, you have these, like, massively strong men. And you're like, we didn't understand. And then it came out later that. And now, I think even more so the research of how bad that is for your body. So, yeah, I will say like 71 is a, it's still short.
Starting point is 00:14:27 There's no time long enough for if you love someone, of course. But it's a pretty long life in terms of like how much he did. Especially for wrestlers. I mean, he outlived a lot of a lot of people that in his generation. I mean, for sure, it's just like it was, and I saw an article, it might have been a week ago, two weeks ago, and they somewhat referenced in this article that I just read about Jimmy Hart saying that Hogan it wasn't looking good and Hogan's not doing well and they were really close. I don't know if they were still close, but they were really close. So he might,
Starting point is 00:14:57 he might have known and we'll probably get more information on it. I will say it probably going to push forward because there was so many rumors and of the, excuse me, the biopic that was supposed to happen with Chris Hemsworth. I don't know if it's still going to be Hemsworth, but I bet you it gets pushed forward a little bit more now. I wouldn't be advised if that happens. Right. That will be interesting. It's so interesting. I always think about this with biopics, what part of their life are they talking about?
Starting point is 00:15:27 Are they talking about a certain year, a certain event that kind of was the precipice of their entire legacy or especially with someone like him who obviously in this latter part has been so clouded with bad stuff, you know, just like really
Starting point is 00:15:43 unlikable characteristics that kind of water down and like do you separate that what do you do there not real i don't know the answer to that um i i i'm the type that's like i you know i cannot like someone but i don't think i i'm just like i don't think death is funny so i i and i you know he has family and people who care about him so i am on that camp of things but i hear people i just don't think it's like the time for like obviously you cannot like someone and you can be like, I don't care, but that's, that's not how I.
Starting point is 00:16:23 I don't think there's any, you're, you're allowed to, his behavior and things that he did. You are one million percent allowed to say he let me down. Yeah. I am not a fan of his. I lost all respect for him, but anyone who roots for somebody's like demise or says like, oh, good riddance. I don't think there, there are some people. There are some people in the world that maybe deserve that.
Starting point is 00:16:47 I don't know if if, if, if Hulk Hogan was one of those. Right. Right. Right. I can think of a few like, yeah, but yeah, but, but for the most part, like when someone just like a caricature, like, and that's kind of what he was like this pop culture caricature. It doesn't. You're allowed to be disappointed with his actions. A hundred percent. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. You're not like him. You're not like him. Yeah. Yeah. A hundred and I saw someone in the comments. I should say he let us down. I think that's fair to say. 100%. But anyway, Hulk Hogan, gone to 71 years old. Put your thoughts in there, guys. What do you think?

Starting point is 00:21:04 All right, Steph, you are chasing Roxy at 103. Seven right now. Okay. You got to get. It was a divisive start. Right. Start. But we'll see.
Starting point is 00:21:20 We'll see what happens. Let's reset, fam. Let's reset. Let's reset. Let's go. All right. I'll give you a quiz before we get into our next topic. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Lunch for me today. Did I cheat and get a Sicilian slice and a mushroom slice? Did I get Buffalo Wild Wings? Did I get? some sausages down the block or did I get sushi? I think because you're asking me, I think you got sushi. All right. What does the audience think?
Starting point is 00:21:53 But if it's Christian cheating, it's probably a slice of pie. If I'm cheating. If you're cheating. Yeah. Because I wouldn't consider sushi necessarily cheap. Me either. So right now, the audience is, so far the audience has sushi. Some people are saying pizza.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I like these topics, sometimes better than the movie topics, to be completely honest with you. Me too. Christian, you and your your fitness journey is very, is, is awesome. I think, like, yeah, we should talk about it more. It's inspiring. I like to. As I said, though, I still got mushy arms though. I did this.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I did this last time. I'm trying, I'm trying. I still got the mush. It's still like, it's getting better, but you can still still. Okay. We'll see it there. It's getting a little bit better. pushy still. We're working. And plus the fact, still arms are hard. Yeah, but it's working. It's
Starting point is 00:22:49 working. Let's see. They say, yep. All right. So I'll give you a reveal and I'll actually eat a piece of what I am about to reveal. So I do the widescreen. Drum roll, please. Oh, that's you. That's a second. Yeah. Okay. Okay, ally. That's my Japanese ally. Okay. Let's see. So sushi, you guys win. Whoever said sushi wins, you win the prize.
Starting point is 00:23:24 All right, moving on. Thor is going to come back, apparently. New rumor. Chris Hemsworth, Thor is reportedly going to be the second lead character in Avengers Doomsday. A Dumbstay. as they say in some parts of France. I don't know if they say that, but they should.
Starting point is 00:23:46 So Chris Hemsworth, apparently it's going to be a second lead. Sounds like the God of Thunder may have a much bigger role in Doomsday than we even realized. Chris Hemsworth is being described as the movie's second lead. Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor for Avengers Doomsday. And the actor recently shared a video title, Thank you, though. The legacy of Thor video prompting speculation that he might be appearing to hang up the hammer for good after the next big MCU event. The video, which is actually four, actually years old, features clips
Starting point is 00:24:15 behind the scenes footage, interview segments from Hemsworth tenure as the MCU's god of thunder, and include shots from the four solo Thor movies as well as Avengers, Avengers Age of Ultron, Infinity War, and Endgame. Playing Thor has been one of my greatest honors of my life. For the last 15 years, I've held Neil Neum and the Stormbreaker and then Stormbreaker as the God of Thunder, but what made it truly special was sharing it all with you, your passion, your cheers and your love for this character have meant everything to me. Thanks for making my journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe unforgettable. Next up, Doomsday.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Certainly sounds like he's bidding farewell to the character here, but if Doomsday is to be Thor's last hurrah, the Mighty Avenger could be prepared to go out with the bang. According to Puck News writer and the ringer host Matt Bologna, Thor has a major role in Doomsday, and Hemsworth is actually considered the second lead in the massive ensemble, who's first, we've heard a number of different actors will take center stage, but don't be surprised if Dr. Doom winds up being the main focus. Hemsworth, as previously suggested, it might be time to kill off the character. I feel like we'd probably have to close the book if I ever did it again.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You know what I mean? Like, I feel like it probably warrants that. I feel like it'd probably be the finale, but that's not based on anything anyone's told me or any sort of plans. You have this birth of a hero, the journey of a hero, the death of a hero. I don't know. Am I at that stage? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:25:31 One man that feels that Hemsworth still has a lot more to offer the MCU is Kevin Feigy, who said he believes. the actor is still in his prime in a recent interview, possibly indicating that he will be welding miller for years to come. We've also heard that a fifth Thor movies in the work, nothing has been confirmed. Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars were recently hit with significant delays. Doomsday coming in December 18, 26, Secret Wars position for December 17th, 2027, both movies directed by the Russo Brothers, who will make their MCU return after re-helling Captain American Winter Soldier, Civil War, Avengers Infinity War, and N-Guble.
Starting point is 00:26:06 game. Okay, Steph, the first question we'll get at. Yep. Him being second lead. A, think that's true. B, should it be true? I
Starting point is 00:26:21 heard that they were saying Pedro Pascal is going to be the first lead. So if that is the true, if it's read, then that makes sense. And that'll be interesting. I'm sure it's one of those things where it's like, who was the lead Captain America or Ironman.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Like it's like kind of the, you know, they're both the big dogs in the group right now. So I'm not really sure him. But yeah, it makes sense that Thor would be main character energy. He's been a leader for a long time. And I think it'll be interesting to see because I know a lot of people were disappointed with kind of the last Thor movie we got. And I loved it, but I can understand them wanting a little more serious of a take. a better balance of comedy within that character. And I feel like it would be really cool to see kind of him taking that more leadership role
Starting point is 00:27:15 in this next movie. And he has probably the biggest star power. I mean, Pedro's like massive right now, but Chris has, you know, been massive for years. So between the two of them, you can't really lose. And massive inside the MCU, obviously. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:27:34 I think that this makes sense. I think what people will say is, well, of course, they're getting nervous and they're putting the old faithful back in. And part of that might be very true, but it's also, I think, smart to do where I think there's an argument to be made that you do kill him off in this movie. I think there's an argument to be made because if Doom is that powerful that he can kill Thor, it really will, and like for good, not like, not like, you know, oh, Thor is dead and then he comes back in a different multiverse. It's like from every different universe. He kills Thor. And there's a way he does that. And he does that the Thanos.
Starting point is 00:28:13 He does that the Thor. You're like, who's going to stop this guy? That would put a mistake behind it. Plus, it would put some emotion in it. They would have been following around him for so long. Plus he gives you a chance to redeem him from that. I know you liked it, but that piss poor movie that he was in. He even says it himself, such a goofy.
Starting point is 00:28:34 they turn him into a goof and if they can get him back and especially more redeeming I think it makes sense but the other side of it is what they said in the second half of that article which is you know maybe they want to have them stick around and do another movie with him
Starting point is 00:28:52 because if they can get that deal I think it's all going to be a matter of if Chris Hemsworth wants to do another movie past Doomsday and Secret Wars whatever then you like they'll probably make that happen if he says i'm i'm done guys this is really like i'll do these movies for you but then i'm done then i think they they pull a force awakens with them and they and they take him out yeah yeah i i do think it's a lot dependent on chris and how he's feeling
Starting point is 00:29:22 with that character and i know that he was you know like focusing on his health and his well-being so i wonder if he's kind of like did that and then now really full on back into acting or where he is and I he has enough star power where he could probably dictate how that goes a little bit. I would be happy with either. I think you make a strong argument that yeah, by killing someone like Thor, a god, you establish your villain really effectively and immediately. But also it's like everyone loves Thor. so you could also just have the poll of having a great character that we know and love,
Starting point is 00:30:06 especially in this time where we're introducing our new main characters. Sam emotionally will not be able to handle it if they kill Thor. Is that her favorite? Yeah, she loses her mind. That's where Pawsit came from every time. But she doesn't like, she hated love and thunder, but she still like seeing Thor, obviously. So did she love Thor in like all the group movies?
Starting point is 00:30:31 Because Thor one and two are three is amazing, but one and two are cool. Like they're not. She liked she liked all. Yeah, she liked all three of them. She just in like the fourth one. But she would, yeah, she's going to be done. I think her favorite is actually Loki. I think it's her favorite character.
Starting point is 00:30:47 She had such a love, she had such a love, hate relationship with them and then went up just absolutely loving. Yeah. Yeah. And we just finished the Loki reaction. She's coming in tomorrow because we're going to start Agatha. Oh, cool. I'm curious to see what she thinks.
Starting point is 00:31:02 I think she'll like it. I think Agatha and then, well, then we only have three movies off. Then we start Lord of the Rings with her. I'll be sat for those. I cannot wait to see her. I'm so confused. I'm not confused, but I wonder, I saw this comment a few times that after we finished the MCU that I should show her the video of the
Starting point is 00:31:26 reveal of Downey's Doom. Oh, okay. And part of me wants to do that, but the other part of me wants to see if I can hold out long enough to see if I... For the movie. And then she doesn't know who it is. That could be interesting, but then again, her reaction to the actual video of the reveal might be pretty solid too.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Cool. Yeah. I'm so, so... That's one of the most... most like curious things I'm waiting for is what to see it and be like I get why they made that choice. I just really want to know why they made that choice. And I hope it's in a really, really good amazing way. Right. Not just because. Yeah. Not just because it's obviously one of everyone's favorite actors and biggest loss is in the MCU. I just want to I want it to make a lot of sense for that
Starting point is 00:32:24 movie. Yeah. same and and he has to be so different than Stark he just like yes in that reveal he reveals him so he got sunglasses on the sneak and like I don't get sneakers on but he might as well it was just like it looked like Stark playing Doctor Doom um so we have to see I'm very curious to um anyway when it comes to Thor should he be the lead should he get another movie should they crap him out what do you think put your thoughts in there let us know currently at seven questions question still seven step what's what's happening right now i don't know like do you guys need me to have another guy on this screen with me like you guys let's i know one one you're you're you're
Starting point is 00:33:11 you're we got get 103 that's high roxy i've had a bad month it's been bouncing back and forth between roxy and rocca right now which is right yeah so roxy hit 103 step's at seven we'll see if we can pick it up. But, you know, there were some trailer reactions or trailer that I did two reactions to today. And I stuck to my word on one of them. And I'll explain that in just a moment. But the first one that dropped was five nights of Freddy's.
Starting point is 00:33:42 This is probably the most, this and Wicked are my oldest daughter's two most anticipated movies the year. Oh, that's such a fun personality split. Yeah, it's true. Universal Pictures in Blumhouse have released. full-length trailer for five nights of Freddie's sequel opening in cinemas on December 5th. One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddie Fassbear's pizza. The stories about what transpired are been twisted into a campy local legend,
Starting point is 00:34:08 inspiring the town's first ever Fazz Fest. Former security guard Mike, played by Josh Hutchison and police officer Vanessa, Elizabeth Lale, have kept the truth from Mike's 11-year-old sister, Abby, played by Piper Rubio, concerning the fate of her animatronic friends. But when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddie, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy will set into motion a terrifying series of events revealing dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy's and unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away from decades. The animatronics out in the real world and causing chaos and this fall-up to the 2023 film adaptation of the famed video game series from Scott Cawthon. Despite poor reviews, the film made 297 million worldwide to become Blumhouse's highest grossing film to date.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Also set streaming records for Peacock when it simultaneously premiered. other returnees include that heus crane Matthew Lillard um I said Michael Afton I kept saying Michael Afton and I'm going to get probably I haven't even looked at the comment section I kept saying Michael Afton and as my Matthew Lillard I'm going to get my wife my daughter is going to is going to give me shit for that anyway who cares um so this movie overall is going to do very well I don't know the answer about whether or not they're doing to this with streaming the way that they did last time. Does anybody know the answer to that?
Starting point is 00:35:31 Oh, yeah, that's a good question. This seems like a movie that would do well on streaming. The last one broke records. The last one it did streaming. It's one of the rare movies that did well at the box office end on streaming the same day. Oh, yeah, that's right. That's right. Yeah, I wonder if they're going to, are they doing that again?
Starting point is 00:35:53 Probably. Oh, okay. Galaxy says only in theaters. So, smart, I think, to not put it on this time. It's like, yes, you got lucky the first time. Don't push it. It's like Dune.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Yeah. Don't push it. Dune and Dune, too. Yep. Yeah. That makes sense. I think this movie's going to do very well. I think that it's very different.
Starting point is 00:36:14 I mean, again, my daughter is not as obsessed as she was with it, but it was all the, I mean, there's five minutes of Freddy's books all over the damn house and posters and everything too i i've heard about michael afton and william afton and all this stuff a million times over um and i know that the lore is different than you know what they do in the games in the books they're changing it up fans are probably but fans still supported it so i think that it's going to do well it looks fun i think they're smart to keep any pg 13 but i don't know stuff what do you think about this yeah this is fun i wasn't i didn't know about the franchise until you're you were talking about how your daughter loved it and then it was it's like a really fun balance for me it's like
Starting point is 00:36:59 hit that perfect balance for me who doesn't love super scary but i don't mind like a fun scary time and i think this is this is fun and it makes sense um why they are going to theater and i think it will do well especially if people you know people responded really well to the first one i am seeing this uptick in interest in going to the theater which is really exciting so hopefully it moved forward in that direction and it will do even better than the first one i agree so what do you guys make of five nights of fridays two are you going to go check it out you're going to go see it are you a hardcore fan you forgive me we're calling william ampton michaelic all right um let's move into this stuff i got great news for you you no longer it's you no longer at
Starting point is 00:37:48 seven you're an hour at eight okay um so i made a promise to the audience i made a promise to myself that one of the things i wanted to do as i mentioned to you i think last week i did a trailer reaction for um the luca julia roberts andrew garfield movie after the hunt and i think it's going to be probably one of the biggest oscar movies uh this year and i wanted to bring attention to it was one of my most anticipated movies um and i was very aware that a lot of people weren't going to watch it because most people just click on the comic book movies or the big IP movies they watch they'll watch moral combat but they won't watch the smaller movies and a lot of times admittedly i'm like well why am i covering that then and i was like well and i saw a couple of people like well if you really like
Starting point is 00:38:34 you should do you shouldn't worry about the algorithm and i said you know you're wrong but i'm going to test you guys and see if you really want to do it the way to do it is i'll put these things out i'll bring attention to them but for the people who are watching it's their their job to comment on it and click like some more people, uh, that the algorithm essentially pushes it to bring attention to these things. And I did that today. And not surprisingly again, it's eating shit on the channel because people keep saying how much they want me to do this and they don't watch it. But it does, I shouldn't say nobody watches. The people who watch it, they left comments. We talked about it. But I said, I'm doing this because I'm excited for this movie. And it is one
Starting point is 00:39:13 battle after another. Did you watch this trailer? Oh, yes. I did. How great does this movie look? Awesome. Awesome. It looks awesome. So good. Paul Thomas Anderson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, Gina Hall, Tiana Taylor, Wood Harris. I mean, it's great. One of those pictures has premiered the second full trailer for There Will Be Blood and Punch, Drugs, Love, filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson's new black comedy action film one battle after another. The new trailer falls hot on the heels of a shorter 90-second one that was posted
Starting point is 00:39:46 the other day, which I didn't see. Yeah, again, there's the cast. Most expensive film to date at 130. That's a problem. But we won't talk about that. People get very upset when I just talk about... Most expensive PTA movie? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Okay. 130. The project is a modern adaptation of Vineland, which is set in Northern California, 84, and dealt with the consequences of the hippie movement in the era of Reaganomics. In the film, a group of washed-up ex-revolutionaries who nights to rescue one of their own.
Starting point is 00:40:16 own daughters when an enemy of their resurfaces after 16 years. Caprio plays the man whose daughter has been taken. I thought his wife was taken. I don't think that's true. I think his wife has been taking because he's he's talking in the audience. He's talking in with his daughter. I don't think he's with his daughter. I think they're wrong now.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Michael Bowman is lensing the film in 35 millimeter VistaVision while radio hedge Johnny Greenwood is doing the score. One battle after another opens on September 26th. I loved this trailer. I loved this trailer and I love it for so many different reasons. I love it because it looked very different from
Starting point is 00:40:52 other Paul Thomas Anderson movies. Yes. And yet similar because such a Paul Thomas Anderson moment when he's walking out. He's like, oh, you got, I need a weapon. All he got his nunchucks. It was like such a, I was like, remind me something that of like boogie nights.
Starting point is 00:41:08 So I really dug it. And I liked what they did there with it. And it probably is going to get a little weird. But I like the setup behind it, like the music behind it. I loved this trailer. I thought it was fantastic. Plus the fact, I just want to see different movies.
Starting point is 00:41:24 And this is the time from September until December, you get more of like the, the more substance type of movies. Are you frozen? Yeah, definitely. I was also, can you hear me? Yeah, you're in delay. It's okay. Keep going.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Can you hear me? Okay. Okay. I was really excited about the cast. I thought it was a super cool mixture of people. I am continuously Regina Hall's biggest fan. I just think she is so underused. I know she's a legend and she is in a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:41:55 But I just think like if you watch her interviews, she'll be on a movie set with like 10 actual like they do comedy, their stand up like legends and she's funnier than them. Like she is so so underrated still. And so I thought it's cool to be in this PTA movie. Leonardo DiCaprio is like this disheged. weird dad, I think is a fun play for him. And it makes sense kind of like as he ages.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Like I kind of want to see him in more of these types of roles. And Tiana Taylor is just an exciting artist to watch because she started as like a massive R&B singing. And then she's kind of like let that. Frozen and tone. Go a little bit and focusing on her directing, you know, going to star alongside. Oh my gosh. Okay, let's reset. I'll turn off the Wi-Fi on my computer.
Starting point is 00:42:55 All right, so we'll see you in a couple minutes. Perfect. Well, we'll get Steph's thoughts on life when she gets back. So that's it, as far as this movie goes. We're both really excited for it. We're both pumped for it. And like I said, I'm going to keep trying to do these things. If you see them pop up,
Starting point is 00:43:14 and even if it's a movie that you don't necessarily know. Let's support these smaller films. And I keep using this as an example. So most people, which I think they're wrong when they say there's no original ideas anymore. There's no original movies anymore. How come Hollywood just keeps doing the same things? It's certainly not true. Because if you go on any streaming platform, there's tons of new movies. There's tons of new IP. There's tons of new things happening all the time. There's more of an argument. of big budget huge blockbuster because it's not worth the risk because people, if they don't know it, they don't see it. That's just how it goes. And the same can be said about these trailer reactions
Starting point is 00:43:56 about these smaller films. But I want to prove the, I want to prove it wrong. I want to start saying that I know, I know you guys care about these types of movies. I know you do. Um, so when you see certain movies that you might not even know that I'm doing, click on it and comment it and like on it because I want to bring attention to these movies. Also, to be completely honest with you, and maybe it's a selfish thing, could be. I also want to show that we want to get some of these people to talk about their films with us, right? It's like, and now I know they go after influencers and all that stuff too, but if we can now say, look, we're the audience and we're the community here that really wants to see these movies, then maybe I can
Starting point is 00:44:43 help be your voice to ask the questions that you want. Could be a pipe dream. It could be nothing. It could just be an experiment that doesn't work. Well, let's try it together. Why not? Anyway, comment, click like on those. Put your thoughts on this clip out.
Starting point is 00:44:58 If you haven't watched a clip out channel, please go and do that. Tons of clips that we have going on that we do it every day. Okay, Steph, you back? I think so. You're back. Okay. I think you're back. Um, you know, we talked about, we talked about Thor.
Starting point is 00:45:18 We talked about, um, some Marvel stuff. Let's, as we do, let's switch to, um, let's switch to D.C. Because James Gunn, I think he was on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast, not too long ago, talking about like Black Adam and Shazam and other things. Um, and now he clarifies some comments that he made. I think we'll find out in a second in the article. That's where he made, made it, but James Gunn clarifies Shazam and Black Adam comments. DC Studios chief,
Starting point is 00:45:52 James Gunn has clarified some recent comments he made regarding some DC films prior to the brand's relaunch under his purview. Specifically, he was chatting with Den of Geek about his new DC universe's continuity and confirmed that both Black Adam and Shazam, Fury of the Gods, are not canon to the new DCU, including the appearance of characters from his peacemakers. series. In his comments, he says, they're not canon. I hate it. Though referring to the peacemaker cameo appearance in those films, some took this to mean that Gunn was saying he hated both films overall. He has now clarified the matter on threats. This is the kind of nonsense you have to look out for in these posts. I never said I hated either one of those films. I said I didn't
Starting point is 00:46:36 like the way the 11th Street kids were included, as I don't think hardcore was ever the warden of an underwater prison. And I don't think that Waller had anything to do with the Justice Society. Gunn also clarified that while the new season does deal with two different dimensions, it won't be the case of a Snyder's DCEU-GUNS-D-CU split, he tells Rolling Stone. People are realizing that Peacemaker Season 2 is about two dimensions. And that's really the core of the show. But it's not as if one of those is old DCEU and one's DCU. that's dealt with in a different way, very upfront in a season where most everything in season when it's canon and some things are not. I did a podcast with Steve A.G. and Jen Holland, and we did every episode of Peacemaker.
Starting point is 00:47:21 And in those episodes, I talked about what's canon and what's not. Basically clip off little things for Peacemaker's Season 1 that aren't canon like Aquaman, but most of this stuff is. Gunn expected to put in an appearance at Comic Con this weekend with the second season of Peacemaker set to be one of the biggest panels at the entire convention. New episodes start August 21st on HBO and HBO Max. Um, I think this is very confusing. I think this is like, how do you choose? Well, that's canon. That isn't.
Starting point is 00:47:48 That's canon. That part isn't. Like, how, how do you do that when it's a full seat? Well, no, when you look at that particular thing, that's not. How do you, how do you, maybe they explain it, but I just find it to be bizarre. I don't know. How do you feel about it? Yeah, it is confusing.
Starting point is 00:48:03 I'm kind of not going to look too into it and just see what the movies or the shows that come next are presenting itself and then just kind of tie it together in my own head. And if I have questions, I can go look at the internet and see what other people are saying. But I think that we're reading too into it. And I think that James Gunn, in an effort to be fully transparent with fans, which I do adore. And I think a lot of us do. But a lot of people, you know, get rubbed the wrong way with him too. And I think that it's like becoming a little too confusing.
Starting point is 00:48:38 that's coming out of a good place but I think that they should just keep it pushing you know and then if there's like if like the movies and the shows don't kind of justify questions for us then I guess then is the time to answer the questions
Starting point is 00:48:54 but I want to just see what it is and it's like if we're I just doubt we're going to see stuff and be like I'm confused he's just too good of a filmmaker to be like confusing like that let's see how they do. I mean, the series is coming out really soon. So, yeah, let's see. Well, we'll see how
Starting point is 00:49:14 they put it together. But any, I also like that he clarified. So he's like, no, I'm not saying I hated those movies. I hated the way that they used the characters I'm using because it doesn't make sense. Doesn't make sense that Waller would be doing this. And so I guess he's allowed to, though, as the DCU filmmaker to say, like, well, that's clearly not canon. And I'll tell you right now, that thing that happened in Black Adam, never happened in in my universe. it just didn't happen, though I wouldn't have made that decision. It's the peacemaker stuff that he was in charge of that he has to now navigate into new peacemaker season two, and maybe they do it well, maybe they do it poorly.
Starting point is 00:49:52 I don't know. But what do you guys think about the comments that James Gunn made about it? Do you think it's confusing? You think it's not confusing at all? And like Steph said, will we find out when we find out? Put your thoughts in there, let us know. Okay. Okay. Last one, and this is for Steph, because there's a first look at Amman Espondi's returning Ezra Bridger from Asoka Season 2.
Starting point is 00:50:20 So season two, very highly anticipated by Steph. So we'll see, you haven't, clearly she hasn't seen this yet. I just saw that it just went up. So this is the first look. A new look at Amman Espondi as the returning Ezra Bridger. and Osoka Season 2 has been revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. Okay, I guess the San Diego Comic-Con just started. So the Jedi looks ready for action as prepares to battle and Admiral Thrawn. There isn't a film or television-related Star Wars panel at this weekend, San Diego Comic-Con. As a result, fans of the Galaxy far far away will have to continue waiting for the trailers.
Starting point is 00:50:52 First show at April Star Wars celebration to be officially released. On the plus side, we have a first look at Ezra Bridger from Asoka Season 2, displayed on the convention floor. In the season one finale, the Jedi finally managed to, escape Rita and reunite with Hera. However, Assocetano and Sabine Wren were left behind, meaning it's down to Ezra to lead the charge against his fellow attorney, the villainous Thrawn. The trailer shown in Japan earlier this year was presented in the style of the classic teaser for the Empire Strikes Back and established that Assocatano and Sabine Ren are racing
Starting point is 00:51:26 against time to stop Skull from unleashing a powerful new threat. Ezra, Herah, Zeb. Meanwhile, appearing to have their hands full with Thrawn Sinister Plans for the Galaxy, while we caught sight of a mysterious new villain who appears to be a force-wielding Knight's sister. She's wielding what we look, excuse me, she's wielding what looks like that could be green light-sabers, perhaps even light-wept similar to what we saw on the Acolyte. Oh, we can't forget that Chopper was depicted wielding a massive gun, clearly eager to add to his ever-increasing kill count. At Star Wars Celebration, it was confirmed that Rory McCann has been cast in the role of fanfavorian.
Starting point is 00:52:03 favorite character of Bailen Skull, originally by originated by the late Ray Stevenson and the Hayden and Hayden Christen will return as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming season. Let's see, production is currently underway on Assook season two, though premiere date has not been announced. And there's a shot here. Not much to it. He just kind of smiling and that's about it. Let's see if they give him a little bit more to do.
Starting point is 00:52:30 I think he was kind of sign aligned in last. one and I still hate that stupid moment where he doesn't use the lightsaber. Ridiculous. This thing against the lightsaber is really dumb. And the this getting thrown across the thing by someone who just learned how to use the forest five seconds ago. Let's let's hope he makes better decisions this time around in season two. But there's the, uh, the shot.
Starting point is 00:52:53 What do you make of it? I think the shot looks good. It's good to see him, you know, off planet where he was and back with his crew. So that will be exciting and get. give him more to do like you said it's like he's such a cool character there's so much there and i will say like i'm still on a high from and or and i know that the two kind of have no relation and no creative relation but i it gives me hope it does give me hope and i'm i feel like it was so good that it almost like it was a palette cleanser where i'm like okay let's see like what do we
Starting point is 00:53:28 have here can i ask you i don't i'm not being i'm just curious why why does it give you hope because you're saying it's so unrelated to each other. Different people running it. I know. I know. I'm just like it's there and you saw the reception. So maybe fingers crossed you take some of that. And mixed with criticism that was fair.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Because I like to soak a season one, but there was fair criticism to be had for sure. And, you know, it wasn't perfect to me either. And I think maybe the mixture you could see what the fans are looking for, what they didn't like, what worked, what didn't work, and then maybe in season two, we get a little different. I just wonder if you'll listen.
Starting point is 00:54:12 I said the other day, and I still stand by it. I think we're going to be in a place with Lucasfilm that they're actually going to start to write the ship. And I think that they're going to start to develop things, have a process, and I think that we're going to be in shape. I think that it's going to take a little bit before we get there. I don't think Assoca 2 will be part of that. I think that Ossook 2 is still
Starting point is 00:54:33 Flonny, and I don't think Flonny listens, I usually listens to the fans. I don't think he did anything wrong in the first one. I think he loves what he did in the first one, and you forget that it's essentially just another version. It's very hard. If you could have made Asoka's season one, you could have made that an animated show, and the
Starting point is 00:54:50 same, not changing a thing, and it would have been a fantastic animated show. It didn't play in live action. And I watched, there was a couple of things that I really liked. And I, it was on the rewatch. and going through and thinking of things again where I'm like, okay, maybe I'm coolating myself because I don't, I think this is really poorly written.
Starting point is 00:55:09 It is kind of, it's, it's this, it was where I started to go down the, oh, this isn't Star Wars. This is Faloni's version. This is the same, I'd say it was JJ's version of Star Wars. Flonnie thinks he knows everything, you know, because he, because he had been part of the Lucas regime. So he knows in his head. So Filoni's version now is Star Wars and it's not. I think Gilroy proved that. I think Gilroy proved what Star Wars could be. And some people were, well, it was Gilroy's version of Star Wars? I don't feel that way.
Starting point is 00:55:39 I thought it was all the themes in a different, in Gilroy's vision to the themes of what George did with what was going on in politics back then to what's going on now and other things in a way that Gilroy did that. And there's the filmmaker's vision and style that is clearly always put into it. But when it just becomes about, well, no, everything's going to connect to all the things I do. And my vision and my version of that's when you get into problems.
Starting point is 00:56:04 I don't know if he's going to get past that. But on the positive side, I do think that maybe Andor did have impact enough to eventually they'll stop doing shit like just doing phelone stuff and actually do stuff that they could do. Yeah. Yeah, it's interesting because it's like hard to say if I would have liked it more as an animated show because I think my biggest problems came from. I was so obsessed with rebels. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:30 It's, I think I like it more than Clone Wars. I love both of them. And part of that is because I love the character arc. And I was let down by Sabine's arc and Ezra's. And that, I don't know. I think that would have played the same for me in animated. But I do think in terms of some of the story, it probably would have played a little bit better.
Starting point is 00:56:56 But that wasn't necessarily where I was most affected. I felt like I was most affected in like my Sabine. I feel I wouldn't have done that, you know, but that's just where I was with it. Right. Well, we'll see. We'll see what he does with it. Hopefully,
Starting point is 00:57:14 I'm wrong. And hopefully he does change things up and doesn't just do, you know, another season of rebels, which you can't do in the same way we talk about figy. You can't confuse people. Like if they're whoever, like Mike bailed on it because they didn't know what the hell was going on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:30 And we'll see. Hopefully he lets other people write it from what they said. It looks like he's going to write the whole season again. I don't have high hope, but we'll see. What do you guys make of the new image of Asoka Season 2? Are you excited for it? Do you want to check out? Do you think that Floney will actually listen and try to do a more deep dive character study
Starting point is 00:57:55 in the way that Android did or is we're going to get the same old slop? Put your thoughts in there? Let us know. All right. It's time, Steph. So let's see if you can do it. You got to get to 103 to tie, currently at 15. You have done it in the past.
Starting point is 00:58:15 You've come back, you've done some stuff, but before we even get to these questions, you launched a new channel, you launched your first video, tell people what it is, tip, where to go. Oh, yes, it's YouTube.com slash steps abroad. So I'm going to be dropping videos on Tuesday and Thursday. So today I write soon after this episode, I'll have another one on my channel. And then on Sundays, I'm going to be going live just to kind of talk about the week or in the episodes or any questions you have at 5 p.m. P.T. for about an hour each week. So that's what's going on there.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Please go check it out. She's working hard on the show. And if you like Steph's style, Steph shows you actually picked out her outfits going into the Disney trip. Plus, you get a debut of Harry. Oh, yeah, Harry. Harry's so in my life. He can't avoid it. So he's had to kind of swallow the pill that he's now on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:59:12 Go over it. You get to see Harry. So go and check it out. All right. Seattle, K.R. I saw Eddington last Friday. Then I watched Fantastic Fort tonight. I might as well watch the materialist next week for the Pedger of Escow trifecta.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Let's go, Steph. I have not seen material. You did see materialist, right? No, I haven't seen it actually. I'm excited to see it. But yeah, it was interesting. It was one of those ones that was so gassed up. And then I feel like people were let down by the storyline.
Starting point is 00:59:41 So I want to see it. I love the three main actors in that. I think all of them are awesome. So I'm definitely going to see it, but I just kind of missed its theater run. Yeah, I'll probably watch it with Sadie this weekend. I think it's available. Joshua Gonzalez,
Starting point is 00:59:56 Thunderlips! I'm the man. versus the Thunderlips the ultimate man versus the ultimate meatball it's from Rocky Thunderlobs baby in the flesh RIPR-R-Ip the Hulkser have you ever seen Rocky the Rocky movies oh yeah yes yes I love the Rocky movies when he fights Thunderloops I wonder if I saw Rocky 3 I saw Rocky 1 and 2 for sure when you fight with Mr. T is in Rocky 3 then I didn't see theory I don't think you please save that and don't do that for anybody else okay okay yeah
Starting point is 01:00:28 Right. Let's see. Let's go into the next one here. And you know what I was also thinking what I can do, by the way? It's that so Sam and she and Sam wouldn't get mad at me saying this at all. The Sam right now wouldn't be able to like if I did a video with like her and like say it, it'd be tough for them to host it up top because they don't, this is not what they do. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:55 There might be a world if we can't. I mean, I think that Luke is still working on the virtual side of things. And he's going to let me, we're going to do a test on it tomorrow. But even if I can't get it to work, maybe what we can do is try to find whether it's your place, whether it's Winston's or maybe like you and Winston can just do one together, because you've done them together without like, you know, people on like, you. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you'd be able to run it.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Like you and Winston could watch some movies. And then like, whether it's at your place, his place, whatever it is. then we could do it that way to where you still have in person that might be something we can explore too if you guys are up for it and chris car she's got a good setup too at her place right yeah okay so let's we'll keep talking about it so there's there's ways to do it even if i'm not on the videos with everybody um so we're exploring to get the the the rest of the team to do reactions on it's on the channel also uh julius wyatt man that new south park episode was so good Hulk Hogan and ozzy osborne in the same week is nuts watch fantastic fortnight i can't wait yeah
Starting point is 01:01:57 This pre-nust we lost both Ozzie and Hulk in the same week. And Malcolm Jamal Warner. Yeah. I didn't see the South Park episode. Oh, my gosh. I'm actually, I don't know if you know, I'm a longtime South Park fan. I do love South Park. I've seen most of the seasons.
Starting point is 01:02:13 And I, it's, they're just genius. I think I love the idea that anyone at any time can get it. Like, it's like, it doesn't matter who, what, where, if you are like in their, realm they're coming for you right so what was this one about oh my gosh they put trump in in bed with the devil similar what they did with the movie with saddam yes yes yes exactly so they just went at at it yep i love south park uh love them okay yeah i haven't i haven't seen it quite a while but they're always they're pretty brilliant those guys mike joy is breaking Arnold Schwarzenegger turns 78 next week. That's pretty crazy too.
Starting point is 01:02:59 That talk about similar situation, what I was talking about, but I feel like he's gone down a healthier path. And I just told Christian this, like I've been watching more of his interviews, and especially with his son. And I didn't realize how likable he was. I watched a documentary on Netflix.
Starting point is 01:03:17 I know. I need to. I was like, wow, this is a charming guy. Milk is for babies. Listen, to be honest, which is studying your new channel. It's great. You got the ears. You put Harry on the camera. He's looking there. He's driving. He's oh, look at the hat. The goofy put it on his head. He said, this is great. And he both had styles. Yes, you go to the Star Wars place and the things are breaking down. It's fine. You have good time.
Starting point is 01:03:43 You put everything else there. You do dances. It's great. I like what you're doing. Keep at it. It's fantastic. Thank you, Arnold. Welcome. All right. Yeah, watch this stuff with his, with his horse and his donkey and his house. It's amazing. Yeah, you told me that I need to see that. In Lulu, just type of, this is whiskey. This is whiskey. What are you doing? Don't eat off the tape. I'll give you some deal. Here, take that.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Come over here. They're eating in the grass. I'm trying to do the videos. They have no manners. It's the best. Absolutely about it. All right. Currently, a 20 step.
Starting point is 01:04:16 People are pushing. Hey. Chris J. Herman. Hulk Hogan was the face of wrestling and helped make it what it is today. But he's also a racist piece of trash that backstab so many people. I think it's fair to say. I think it's both of those things are fair to say. He was the face of wrestling and helped make it what it is today.
Starting point is 01:04:32 But he said a lot of stuff that can warrant that kind of reaction. And he did backstab a lot of people. You absolutely. I can't say, yeah. Now, if he would have followed up, like, he deserves to be in hell. Then I'd be like, what do you do it? But he didn't say that. I think that right there.
Starting point is 01:04:51 Yeah. Yes, boy. Will Hogan get a 10 bell salute on Smackdowns on, or I think you will. I think you have to. I think you have to. I don't know what that is, but. It's what they honor the wrestling legends with.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Oh. You have to. He's still in the opening promo of everything that they do. It's always in WrestleMania. Like, you can't show promos for WrestleMania and these other things about the history of wrestling without showing them. It, he can.
Starting point is 01:05:17 It's all, it's like the iconic moment with slamming Andre the giant at WrestleMania 3 that will always be in there. Like, yeah, of course. He absolutely. one if he doesn't it'd be i will say it'll be uh pretty crazy if not pretty crazy um shelf presence r i p to malcolm ozzie and hulk it's always in threes it really is true yeah it's weird it's weird how that always happens i'm so glad malcolm's child was able to be saved oh i guess i was i'm so glad that you said that i was watching the news with sadie the other night and we
Starting point is 01:05:51 and we both said the same thing thank god that she's okay right right right I mean, that poor kid's going to be traumatized. And everyone, like, just I saw this really great surfer who was like, I just feel like it's my duty to kind of explain what happens if you're stuck in a current. And it's, that's like such simple knowledge that's like, feels impossible if you don't know what it is. But just look that up. It's what? Aren't you supposed to just like sit in it and let it take you as far as it goes?
Starting point is 01:06:22 You're not supposed to swim against it, but you're supposed to swim. um like like horizontally to the shore so you're kind of just like go sideways my dad i don't want to explain it the wrong way like just go look it up it's very simple but it's it's life-saving knowledge oh my dad got coming right this was this was the worst like i'm almost not here my dad um when he got back from nom my dad got the purple heart and um he let his squad like everything too he survived know that yeah he he survived nom he came back um he got got hit with a it was it was from shrap it was it was like a firefight and then the friendly fire helicopter had shot and um and it ricocheted back and my dad but my dad you know saved the whole bunch of people and all this
Starting point is 01:07:11 stuff so um anyway he gets back from vietnam and he's out swimming and he gets caught in the the curtain he almost almost drowned like almost dies like pretty much like gosh. And then he washed up, like, wherever he washed up and these people took care of him in this, in his house and everything, too, like, but it was almost like, it was almost, it was like a movie. It was, but it was only, he was like born, but, uh, but he survived, but that's no, there's no, is that, and ever since then, my dad was terrified of the water, wouldn't go back in. Of course. You just wouldn't go back. I remember as a kid. He's just like, I'm not, nope, not going in the ocean, not doing it. It's a scary place. Just shows you how powerful nature is. It shows you.
Starting point is 01:07:51 like no control over it whatsoever, no matter how good of a swimmer you think you are and all this stuff, how good a swimmer you are. Michael Phelps would be in trouble. You know what I mean? It's no matter. Anyway, Tyler Gosca, remember making the video with you
Starting point is 01:08:07 and Perry making eggs when you're a collider? I do. I learned how to make eggs from the video. Did you really? I'm going to screenshot this. I'm going to send this to Perry. It's amazing. Yeah, Perry didn't know how to make eggs. I can't believe that. You didn't want to make eggs. Like, I should do, I'd like to do more videos like that. It's hysterical.
Starting point is 01:08:24 I'd like to do more videos like that to where certain things where we can do videos like that. That was fun when we did that. I don't think she ever tried to do it ever again after that, but I'm glad you did. Amazing. Anthony, finally got around to watching Shogun. Did you find my boat?
Starting point is 01:08:44 Absolutely loved it. What are you hoping to see from the second season? I just hope it. Because the problem I have with Shogun, too, is that it's now not coming from any source material, history books, obviously, but not like any source material that the first one did. So they're going to be inventing it in the way that the Game of Thrones guys did. And that makes me nervous, you know? Yeah, I think that's totally fair. Like, part of the, the cast and the creators nonstop talked about how lucky they were that they had this inclusive.
Starting point is 01:09:20 credible source material that accounted for history in a way that they've never seen before. And that's why they were able to make the show so, so well. So, I mean, I think like that team probably has a pretty good idea. So I think it is in good hands. And the history is there to be found. You just need to have the right person doing that, finding the information for them. And then being able to tell another compelling story, which it is in itself compelling. what happens if you know the history is insane,
Starting point is 01:09:52 but it will be interesting how they write the script from that. Agreed. Next one. Breaking news. Chuck E. Cheese was arrested. Also breaking news. Checking. He still exists.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Look at this. This is the best picture. Oh, my gosh. The best thing I've ever seen. Look at this. No way. Only in America. This thing.
Starting point is 01:10:13 With the kids in the background looking at, and what gives me something out of a Kevin Smith movie? Oh, totally. Totally. Like the, you don't have to take the thing off the guy's head. He's walking. That's the best thing I've ever seen. That's amazing.
Starting point is 01:10:31 That's the best thing I've ever seen in my life. Like, he's got a full fucking thing on. The little girl in the background. That's the best thing I've ever seen in my life. I love how he didn't take his mask. Oh, you take it off. The cop didn't take it off of me either. How do you know it was the guy? He let him keep his dignity. Oh, hilarious. Or did he? Right. Oh, that's the best. Credit card fraud. Damn, I hate to see it. That's the best picture I've seen all. Who'd shoot riot. G. golly, Steph. You look stunning. Who's ready to get beaten off by a fantastic fort today. Do you see that? Did you see that review? Someone said it, like,
Starting point is 01:11:24 beat you off or something like that. Oh my God. That's hysterical. Any excitement for weapons and together naked gun has me pumped. I'm actually going, I got my screen. I'm going to go see weapons. Is it next week? Not next two weeks. Yeah, so a week from Monday.
Starting point is 01:11:39 I'm going to see weapons. And I probably have Roka hosts a show because it's right around the time of this show when the screening happens. Because I'm going to watch Barbarian with Tina. And we're going to check that out. And I'm watching K-pop with Tina today. I haven't seen it yet, Steph. So we're going to watch it all emails.
Starting point is 01:11:57 So we'll watch that. I'll see that. Yeah. And then naked gun, I go see on Monday. I am together, I don't think I even knew about together until my friend today told me about it. And it was, it said June, July 30th when it comes out, but I didn't see it on my release schedules.
Starting point is 01:12:13 But are you excited for any of those? Fantastic Four included stuff? Oh, you know, I've been excited for Fantastic Four for months, years. I'm yeah. Great. Yeah, I'm so, so excited about that. Definitely naked gun. When I saw the trailer, I was like, this, it's like a laugh out loud trailer.
Starting point is 01:12:33 So if they carry any of that energy into the movie, I'm going to love it. I agree. I agree. I'm so excited to see it. Okay. Anthony M72, were you expecting Andrew to address him looking for his sister more in season two? Him looking for her is the whole show how it started in season one.
Starting point is 01:12:51 It is, but I think that it shows. that his his objectives changed and he probably found out information about it going in and it wasn't it wasn't the narrative that they wanted to chase i didn't really have a problem with them going down that route because i don't think that's really the point of the show i thought marva told him that there was no survivors or some i am i wrong in that i thought we kind of got closure in that sense um so i went into season two thinking that was that there was closure that that wasn't his mission really anymore. But I could be,
Starting point is 01:13:26 I could have made that up myself just to move on. Maybe it's true, but I don't know. Isha Boy became a YouTube member. Thank you, Ishi Boy? Nice. Appreciate that. Space Jesus coming in hot. Doom has to be around past secret wars, right?
Starting point is 01:13:42 It doesn't seem like a scary villain if we only see him for two movies. I hope so. I hope he's battling the X-Men. I'd love to see that. Yeah, let him fight through. I agree with you. I think that maybe they think that Secret Wars, they took him out or they took him out for now, but they need new heroes to be ready for him should he come back type thing.
Starting point is 01:14:03 So yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I would hope so, too, especially with that massive reveal and everything, at least two movies. Two movies. Putschut, right, any chance of Steph Balls defending Action Star. Have you seen this clearly? the um the will smith thing no you haven't seen it either nobody's seen this um i got to i got to play
Starting point is 01:14:24 it again i really i'll play my i always play my buddy's video to show people so will smith had a um a freestyle that he did and it it it wasn't good um and so the two things that really came out of it were the line was and i'm an action stall and um so i want to see what you think think about the actual line because I have I just have my buddy who reacted to that one particular line. Um, hold on a second, second. Let me, I'll play it for your stuff. Yeah, I can't believe you haven't seen this.
Starting point is 01:15:02 This is just my friend reacting to it. So it's not like the full video of the, uh, of the free time. Oh, it makes me laugh. That as much as Chuck E. it makes me laugh um okay here it is check it out anyway so any can you defend will smith's uh magical lyric at least he said i he acts bizarre because it was yeah it was yeah anyway um so no i don't know yeah he should stop the rapping's not working for me lately girls girls i like pretty girls girls his old stuff was good but his new stuff like was odd
Starting point is 01:16:03 he doesn't he doesn't he doesn't really evolved into realizing he's almost 60 years old he's still rapping like he's 28 years old he's not yeah uh paper paper deerson step you're the best definitely deserve more than seven questions well she's got 22 currently 22 she just needs about uh Yeah, 80, 81 to tie. That's a Hogan movie. Santa with muscles, RIPA, who should write it. I know how terrible it is. I know it's awful, but no holds part.
Starting point is 01:16:35 Yeah, no holds. I've never seen a movie with him. Makes sense. Sergio C. 650, Christian, would you describe Fantastic Four as a masterpiece? Somebody said inside of the reviews that, Fantastic Four is a masterpiece and Roken and I were laughing. Because it's like, people just throw that word.
Starting point is 01:16:50 No, it's not a masterpiece. It's master visuals. I'll say that. Very great visuals. Masterpiece, no. You don't get that for me. Dark Night will get masterpiece for me. Godfather, too, will get masterpiece for me.
Starting point is 01:17:03 You know, like Goodfellows, we'll get masterpiece for me. Like, those are good masterpieces. But no. Fantastic, I really enjoyed it. But masterpiece, no. People just throw that out there. Okay. Mike Joyce, I'm glad you're doing Sunday Night Live show, Steph.
Starting point is 01:17:20 the World Girl Sunday live show always help with the Sunday scary Sunday live shows are the best. So you're going to do live shows and Sundays? Yes, that's so funny. I'm literally calling it Sunday scaries with stuff. That's the point. Yeah, totally. I love that. Rob Tassick,
Starting point is 01:17:36 do you think that Loki and Thor will meet the Avengers. Imagine how emotional it will be. I do think they will, especially from the, because that's the other thing is that Doom's got to be able to take out Loki now with all the time stuff and everything too. He's maybe he takes both brothers out. we'll see yeah yeah they i think they have to i hope so to each other yeah yeah mike choice christian live reaction to the south part psa is there south part psa i don't um if it's the i think frank lucatorta worked on it it's like is it the deep fake one is that what you're talking about
Starting point is 01:18:13 mike that's like the best thing i've seen on the internet this week okay it's insanity i don't know if you want to react i think it's uh you'd have to blur out some stuff it's pretty graphic probably not put shoot riot chuck e step defending herself getting arrested with job as her defense oh we're not doing scenes right now but uh but chuk but that was that was that was that i'm telling you i'll do i'll still do this Yeah. Nathan, Drake, have either one of you seen the amateur? Yeah, I did.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Solid thriller with a great performance for Romimelik. Those are the kind of movies. I hope they made more of. Yeah, it's a good one. Those are types of movies, though, I mean, it didn't do very well in the theater, obviously. Those are, right. It's hard to get people in the theater to see him. But I thought it was a, I thought it was good.
Starting point is 01:19:06 My wife and I dug it. I thought it was an interesting take on what they did. The Romney Malik was great. So, yeah, it was good. I love Romim Malik. Yeah, I definitely think it was one that I think would have done really good, just straight to streaming. and in the same way that Chris Hemsworth's what was his action film on Netflix at Staten's attraction right that was so good two of them yeah both were solid so yeah we
Starting point is 01:19:32 like the amateur okay uh you RQ MD SMD support for stuff good luck with the YouTube channel thank you when's the next one the next video today it is dropping today okay yeah this one was kind of just good yeah this one was kind of of just like a I wasn't even planning on doing it but I took my mom to Superman my mom's the like biggest Superman fan I know like like she's obsessed it's like yeah yeah yeah it's like everything so just watching her brought me so much joy so I was like I'm gonna make this an episode so I just put it together quickly yeah um all right so Steph right now you've got 25 and this is the last one for now unless people want to keep you on give that epic comeback that you've done in the past
