Starting point is 00:00:01 Sadie Singh, she's playing Jean Grey, just kidding. Sadie Green, Sadie Green. She's playing Sadie Green. Just kidding. Sadie Singh, she's playing Fire Starter. Just kidding. Looks like she might be playing Mary Jane. How the hell is that going to work?
Starting point is 00:00:14 We already have an MJ. Well, we're going to discuss that. Doomsday, it's got a working title. It's got pre-production budget. That's all that stuff, man. There's DC News. Lantern has a new cast member. You got Man of Steel, some new reports that says it's a
Starting point is 00:00:31 Really joky movie. Is that going to be a problem? Could be. Maybe not. There's some more casting surprises, apparently, and Superman that we haven't heard about. Michael Fastbender talking about the MCU and Elizabeth Olson, hinting about Scarlet Witch in the MCU.
Starting point is 00:00:49 So we got so much to talk about with me and Winston today. Man, oh man, what a show it will be. So let's get to this show, myself, Winston. Marshall it's going to be a hell of a show what do you think we think paul amati yeah you are all right let's get into it it's capes and cows it's the christian arloh show welcome back days and gentlemen capes and cows with myself and of course winston a marshal here today winston how are you sir who boy i had to wake up and go get labs done man and i hate needles so that was lovely and what's that happened uh just just standard check up crap i you know you got to go and they're like
Starting point is 00:01:56 let's check your thyroid you know it's you're man of a certain age and uh you know and yeah and then and then i got the news on the car man it's gonna set me back 25 hondo that's fun yeah yeah so You really need to win today. I really, oh, God, what's the number? It's like 500, isn't it? What I did with Steph yesterday? There's no world that you're going to guess, but let's try. And I want you to guess who the leader is at the moment,
Starting point is 00:02:23 and I don't want to guess, I don't want you to guess, how many? I'm going to guess it's Roxy, and I'm going to guess it's somewhere in the 300s. No, I'll tell you, I'll do the same thing I did with Steph yesterday. It's 103. You can beat 103. That is doable. It's not the shocking part of it. It's Roka.
Starting point is 00:02:40 It's Brett Sheridan. Oh, I mean, the sniper was sniping. He's returned. He's returned. Bag, baby. Oh, now Brett Sheridan has returned. So, the question is, can you take out Brett Sheridan in his week? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:56 We shall see. Currently, the end of seven right now. It's a good start. That's a good start. And we have things to do and we have things to talk about. Koi will be back next week. For people wondering where Koy is, he's on vacation. As I was on vacation on last week.
Starting point is 00:03:10 and the guys took really good care of the show and took care of you guys. So let's get into the first topic. Winston can't go anywhere without seeing the Sadie Sink story, man. I mean, it is every single place you go. It's Sadie Sink, Sadie Sink, Sadie Sink. So there's a new report. If I can find the report somewhere, I don't know where it went. Oh, there it is.
Starting point is 00:03:33 I see. Oof, get over there. So Sadie Sink is rumored to play so many different characters. characters from Jean Gray to Fire Starter to I don't know she's gonna play play everybody but there's a new report now on the hot mic that says that she's gonna play Mary Jane well I'm gonna redo this new give me a second I don't know why this is working like this I want to make sure that everybody can see the story and there we go all right all right all
Starting point is 00:04:12 So here's the report that came in from the Hot Mike yesterday via comic book movie. Spider-Man 4, Sadie Singh's mystery role opposite Tom Holland reportedly revealed. Spoiler following yesterday's bombshell report that Sadie Singh has joined the cast of Spider-Man 4, a reliable source has now seemingly revealed her mystery role. And it's one that's very familiar to CBM fans. Since it was announced yesterday and Stranger Things Sadie Sink had joined the cast of Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, upcoming Spider-Man 4 in a significant role. Speculation has been running rampant on who she might play,
Starting point is 00:04:50 with the early favorites being Spidey, Mainstays Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy, Felicia Hardy, or Alicia Jones. Let's see. Well, it may be a while before getting any sort of reveal from the studio. Jeff Schneider during tonight's installment of the Hot Mike with Jeff Snyder and John Roker has seen. seemingly revealed her role and it seems as though she will indeed be playing mary jane wantson i'm convinced i'm convinced winston that these um these these kind of the sites
Starting point is 00:05:25 they know it's going to piss rocke off that they then they put jeff snider's name first hot mic with jeff snider and john roka i'm convinced you think that they're intentionally he's just pushing his button 100% that's awful but hilarious i think i think they absolutely are are doing that. But yeah, they put Jeff's name first. Anyway, so Snyder, if you remember, was the first to break the story that Sink was the frontrunner to Gene Gray in Marvel Studios X-Men amidst to being surprised. The Sink was announced for Spider-Man 4 instead of the mutant reboot.
Starting point is 00:05:55 He says he heard from his sources last night that Sink will likely be playing Mary Jean Watson, not Gene Gray. Was Inaya playing the Michelle Jones Watson? It will be a surprise for fans to hear that a second MJ could soon be introduced. But considering that the film will be set in between the events of the multiversal blockbusters, Avengers, Doomsday, and Avengers Secret Wars, is a very good possibility to sync will be playing some variant of the web singer's most iconic love interest. Following the events of Spider-Man No Way Home, it's been long expected that Zendaya and much of the original cast would take a bit of a backseat in the upcoming spidey sequel for story reasons, as well as Zendaya's other film TV commitments.
Starting point is 00:06:32 So we've known for quite some time that a new leading lady would likely co-star with Holland, although many were expecting the film to introduce Black Cat rather than a new Mary Jean. Additionally, Snyder notes that if Sony was to include Gene Gray or any X-Men character in Spider-Man 4, the studio would have to give co-producer credit to Lauren Shuladonna, which the studio presumably doesn't want to do. He does say one, possibly two big MCU characters are still expected to appear in the film, but he's not sure who they could be. Previously, Robert Daniel Jr., Chris Evans started in Spider-Man Homecoming.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Samuel L. Jackson and Colby Smoulders were in Spider-Man far from home, and then, of course, Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong featured in Spider-Man, No Way Home. He also adds some of the names he's reported on recently, like Julia Butters and Harris Dickinson. While he's heard, they are certainly in the mix for X-Men roles. Actors Marvel Studios likes overall, so if another opportunity presents similar to Sink and Spider-Man 4, there's always a chance these actors could accept different roles, especially X-Men in their very early stages of development and still without a director. All right, Winston, there's a lot to unpack there, man. Yeah, there is.
Starting point is 00:07:35 What stands out the most with that entire article? The first thing you want to dive into. I mean, she'd been tied to X-Men this whole time. So that was interesting to see kind of that pivot. It almost makes me wonder if the X-Men will have any sort of connection whatsoever. I'm not sure about that. It's also interesting that I'm not saying we don't lean into the multiversal side of things, but like, you know, you made your decision on MJ.
Starting point is 00:08:04 We're really just going to be like, here's another MJ. But again, it's the variance. We're trying to get to the end of that. So maybe that's it. I just, you would, I would assume if you're going to get an actress like Sadie,
Starting point is 00:08:18 who's kind of on the rise right now and is doing what she's doing, that you would want her for an extended period and not for a role that feels like, well, maybe you know what I mean? Because I don't, obviously you can. I don't see a world where it makes sense to get rid of Zendaya, because then you're talking about an Emmy now like Emmy two time two time Emmy winner like you know I believe was she ever nominated for an Oscar not yet no not sure me I don't know yet I don't think so I don't think but either way same thing challenge you don't right you don't want to get rid of her and especially the chemistry that she already has with Tom even if the story is shifting those are those are the things that kind of stick out of my head off rip so if you were going to do it I would have
Starting point is 00:09:04 referred her as Black Cat or the gene casting or anything else like that. But again, she's a good actress and I, based off of the leaks, if those leaks are accurate, and I know those are for Doomsday and Secret Wars, it gives me so much hope as to where we are going that it is, I will, I'll be like, all right, I'm going. I would tell you, I think that those leaks are 99% point nine percent accurate. But within all that, I agree with you with basically everything you said. I think that she's really good. I want to see her stick around for more than just one role.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And maybe if they extend past, because I forget how many movies Tom Holland is now signed on to appear. And I know he's going to be doing the next two Avengers movies. I don't know if he signed on for more Spider-Man movies. I'm not sure. Five. I thought it was one more trilogy and two more Avengers films. That could be very true. And if that is the case, then she'll probably be with all of those.
Starting point is 00:10:06 I don't disagree with you at all that. It's interesting that they would give Zendaya, you know, kind of a back seat. But it does also make sense, as noted in that article, she's very much working on different things. She was in two highly touted critical things last year with both Dune 2 and challengers. And she's, and I think, isn't she in, is she also in the Odyssey? I feel like she is a question. I'm actually not sure about that. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:10:35 I feel like she's also in, in honesty, with him. So she's going to be doing a lot of different things. So she might want to take a back seat. She is in honesty. Yeah. So she might be wanted to take a back seat to this stuff. You know, she might not want to be the forefront in this anymore. Maybe that's why they bring in Mary Jane.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Would have made sense. But then I answered myself very quickly when I was walking the dog this morning. I said, you know, it would be very interesting, is if she is Mary Jane, but she's Andrew Garfield's Mary Jane because we haven't seen the Mary Jane. Oh, though, my only question, she's the little young.
Starting point is 00:11:12 That's where I went next. That's the little young. That's where I went next. I went next and I quickly said, how old is Andrew Garfield 42 to her 22? So they probably won't do that. So that's why I was like, oh, that would if Leo was playing Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:11:28 True. Or Bill Belichick. Bro, did you hear the rumor that apparently he wants his girlfriend on all of the UNC emails? Perfect. Because that's what we need, the Yoko Ono to come and ruin the last part of his career. What does he care? Does he care? And him, it's worth it.
Starting point is 00:11:49 It's worth the investment. Anyway, the point is, I think that if they're going to introduce it, it could be, I mean, I'm much rather her be being Gene Grate. I'd be completely honest with you. I agree. I'd much rather her being you. I think she fits the role perfectly. I think it sets her up to be in the X-Men moving forward.
Starting point is 00:12:07 I think she can finally hit that Dark Phoenix thing, which we've been waiting for somebody to damn get forever. But I also understand what's confusing to me is, and it's more of a contract thing with the Lawrence Schuller-Donner side of it, how does that work? How long is she, because they bought the property back from Fox. So how much longer does she get producer credits? Like does she just get producer credits on stuff that's in that is tied to her universe?
Starting point is 00:12:40 Or is it always in perpetuity? Is she always going to be a producer on it? I honestly don't know the answer to that. Right. Real with you. I mean, I also don't, but I guess I'm confused as to why they would have a problem with her just getting a credit. they just don't want to pay her um well that's probably one of it plus didn't want to bring another producer on to the movie i wonder if there's a way though that there that you can set it up where
Starting point is 00:13:11 she can only get financial and like credit maybe they don't want they don't want to do that so um which i get nobody wants to split the pie but you find the deal so just just pay her her little here a little finder's fee and then get out my face like yeah it depends on how much I mean, they're already splitting with Marvel, though, so you know how those people get. So I think that, you know, we'll see who she ultimately winds up playing. I still would like it to be Gene Gray, probably not going to happen. If it's Mary Jane, it definitely lines up more age range with Tom Holland, who's only like 27 or something. That would make more sense.
Starting point is 00:13:51 And then that would be his love interest for the movies kind of moving forward and how they're going to actually place it. Because remember, M.J. doesn't remember Peter. Right. So. And that was their hard reset to be like, now we can go wherever we want. You don't have. So I totally get that. But in the same breath, it's just.
Starting point is 00:14:12 I know. The star power. Yeah, the star power is. But you also have to look at it that she might not want to do it anymore. Right. He's got more incentive. He's got more incentive to do it because it's always going to be, it's Spider-Man. they might not always have a bigger part for MJ.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Have you seen since their engagement that there was a video of Tom hanging with Zendaya's family? Like you had like a barbecue? And they're like, Hey, Spider-Man, come over here, man, to show me a little bit. Like, they don't call him Tom. They call him Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:14:46 And I also saw like, oh, man, then I saw a whole bunch of comments. He just proved he can hang at the barbecue. Exactly. He's the Spider-Man always got a pass, man. He's the same cool. He's plenty of time. As far as other stuff goes, so, Winston, what do you think as far as who,
Starting point is 00:15:02 you know, they're talking about there's other people, Snyder was hinted on other cameos, people that could come in or not even bigger cameos, people just bigger roles. And he mentioned all the other MCU characters. As they're tying up to Secret Wars, it looks, I mean, this is going off of the leaks. And if you're leading into it,
Starting point is 00:15:22 I think there's a lot of people that it could be, right? Like, and especially with everything in the time, could be daredevil. Could be. Well, I mean, the big thing that the, the rumor based off of the leaks and kind of where things are going is that a lot of the stuff will kind of unfold in doomsday and kind of set us in this predicament in the first place. Yeah. And then you're going to end up with a situation potentially of anchor beings being the ones that we kind of got introduced to officially in Deadpool and Wolverine. That'll be the ones to help undo this. so that because Tom has been fiddling and the other two Spider-Men have been fiddling kind of with the multiverse as is the three of them are anchor beings so he would go and get the other two Spider-Brothers and then are the rumor is you pull Nick Cage to reprise Ghost Rider
Starting point is 00:16:10 you pull Hugh as Wolverine and then those are the anchor beings that go and try and like you think Wolverine's going to be in the new Spider-Man movie that this is this is just the rumor that's going on is that he's the anchor being thing that was teased in Deadpool and Wolverine comes full circle back into this, which is what then barrels us into Secret Wars. I think you'll see the X-Men in like Doomsday or something. You'll probably see a few of them. You'll definitely see them in Secret Wars. Oh, you know, everybody in Secret Wars. Everybody will be in Secret Wars.
Starting point is 00:16:44 But yes, I think you will see some X-Men in Doomsday. I think you'll probably get some of the payoff of Kelsey and Spectrum. and all that for and binary at the end of the marvels. I think that's going to pay off in Doomsday. And I think that's really what's going to end up happening here is Doom. And I think because it looks like he has Sue and potentially Franklin in those leaks next to him. I think that we will also get Elizabeth Olson, Scarlet Witch, and she is the bad. Instead of using molecule men, she ends up being the battery that helps him reality warp whatever he wants.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Yeah, you're talking about Sneakry Wars, not Spider-Man. I'm talking kind of this through line. I'm talking like, like, but it's Spider-Man. But in the Spider-Man in general. The middle piece, isn't it? Well, what's that? Isn't Spider-Man the middle piece?
Starting point is 00:17:33 It's Doomsday Spider-Man, uh, secret war. Like, to the point where, even though obviously it is the two Avengers films, to me, this almost feels like fellowship two towers, Return of the King kind of situation. Maybe, maybe. Maybe. And I, I think, so if I was going to put a five, five people that you, that I would picked from. I would go Daredevil,
Starting point is 00:17:55 Kingpin, Punisher, one of those three, outside picks, Dr. Strange, and Hulk. Okay, so then I'm going to go because where's Hulkpin? That's a great question. He has his
Starting point is 00:18:15 bald-headed-ass son. He's going to get him hair plugs. How did he not show up in Captain America Brave New World? How does he not show up? because of the endless amount of rewrites, because the funny thing is that was not Captain America Brave New World. That was the Incredible Hulk, the Red Hulk. That's what that was.
Starting point is 00:18:31 And so there were, I remember the director talking about, there were talks of potentially having Bruce show up and whatnot at one point. Because you got the whole rest of the cast from the Incredible Hulk to show up. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:18:47 I would venture a guess that Hulk is in Doomsday. and in Secret Wars, I don't necessarily think Spider-Man. I think it's probably going to be people close to Tony. I think it's going to mess with Spidey that Doom looks like Tony. So I think you might end up with probably a happy, maybe a, maybe a Guedith Paltrow potentially as like an outside shot, like a higher odds because you're like how to...
Starting point is 00:19:16 Who's your five? Give me five people that you think it could be. out of those five I gave you I gave you I gave you I gave you five name you give you give you okay um I would say daredevil um probably I'm I'm gonna go with Gwyneth Paltrow I'm gonna I'm gonna genuinely go with um I guess rescue I'll put pepper um let's see I think maybe you actually get Alfred Molina back instead of the Spider-Man he needs another scientists and so Doc Ock potentially. Not Willem Defoe?
Starting point is 00:19:55 Hello, Harry. He wanted to kill him too bad. I think it's one of those things where he's like, nah, nah, that dude had to die, but I could reason with Doc Ock. He was less crazy without the technical control. That's the formula. Oh, man, he should be Batman. Forget Paul Giamatti. He should be
Starting point is 00:20:12 Willem to Faye. And then the last two, let's go let's go Luke Cage Oh interesting Before no way Luke Cage is going to show up before he's even in Daredevil season two
Starting point is 00:20:27 I've Luke Cage Okay And then Antman Antman's a good one Especially because of the quantum The quantum realm and time travel And all that crap
Starting point is 00:20:39 No Punisher If I didn't have some relationship If we legitimately are doing street level Which it does not sound like it then I would say then rewrite all of that kingpin daredevil and Punisher all day but I just don't think that that's gonna if if it does that is maybe where his story starts and something goes tits up and now all of a sudden he's got to go do the multiversal thing and they try and do both and one well look man there's a lot there's a lot in there unpacking all that who's Sadie
Starting point is 00:21:11 sink gonna play who's gonna show up in this Spider-Man movie is it too much is it too little what say you guys put your thoughts in there let us know uh tons of stories to cover here today and we are going to get to all of them but before we do i've been telling you all week about trade coffee and i said it the other day and i hope you guys will listen to get this stuff and you're going to get yourself something good and you're going to help out the show i'll tell you about all of them right now i got a bunch got some good ones i got factor i got trade and i got robin hood here you go all right coffee drinkers i'm sure you're like me i start the morning and I need my coffee. Starting point is 00:26:02 I did, man. She's over in London right now. She's doing a Cape Eccan sale movie. It was hard to keep. How did you do that? She auditioned. Oh, okay. I didn't even know. I wasn't aware that she had eventually gotten a route.
Starting point is 00:26:18 That's why I was confused. I know that that was something she was trying to do, but I'm so proud of it. She kept it quiet for a bit. You know, obviously, she let me know because she had to take the week off next week. And she almost took the week off this week because they were supposed to go. But she's there right now. She's going to crush it. So it's awesome.
Starting point is 00:26:36 It's awesome. I was ecstatic when I, because I had no idea. I found out that's how you know I haven't talked to her in a minute. I found out because of an Instagram story. And I was like, wait, what? So I'm going to have to catch up with her when she gets back, man. Yeah, for sure. And we're all very, very happy for it.
Starting point is 00:26:55 So we'll hear about the whole scenario when she gets back. People, I see people asking in the comment section. They're like, I keep seeing just didn't even ask a question, just right, far from home with a question mark. And you probably don't understand what that means. You're assuming. Yeah. It's like what happened yesterday. What happened was the editor sent it.
Starting point is 00:27:16 I got it. Got it early. It's a great. It's going to be all ready. I'll give this morning. It's got a ton of copyright stuff on it. So it's like, and of course the editors are out for a holiday.
Starting point is 00:27:24 So my God, it's probably not going to be ready until either tomorrow. Tomorrow at the earliest Monday at the latest. So you guys have to wait on the far from home. But we got a bunch of things coming out. I am probably going to release the Team America with myself and Sadie really soon also. Um, I'm gonna do America was Sainty. Oh, it's the best. She hated it.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I'm sure the, the, the vomit scene really did it for her. Laugh of the vomit scene because she laughs at it. She was actually pretty grossed out about it. She did laugh at the sex scene, though. The sex scene is hilarious. It's just the, she laughs at the sex. There's a time she laughed. But we're going to put that up next week.
Starting point is 00:28:05 We're going to put up. I was supposed to put up. I was going to do a teen. was supposed to come in today to do the second son. movie um but we our schedules just didn't match up today um but we will be doing those movies so we're my goal is to put out at least like four and lou god bless luke he's been trying to take the copyright off of both not know just the far from home the freaking amazing spider man too got hit with the copyright so it's like it's it is a tricky it's a tricky situation
Starting point is 00:28:32 those um those reactions sometimes how long is that is that little window in there it's seven I forget what it is. I forget the whole thing. I think that it's, the problem is sometimes when you upload it, it says, you're all good, all clear,
Starting point is 00:28:45 and then after it's been up for 10 hours, it goes, then it hits you with it. You're like, I can't take it now. People have been, A, watched it.
Starting point is 00:28:53 B, it's doing well and it's bringing in new people. I don't want to re-upload it again and do the whole thing over here. You could try doing it within the YouTube edit. It sounds, that's what Luke's been doing. Luke's been trying to get it cleared for like the last.
Starting point is 00:29:07 He's, he's obsessed. He's trying, he's been trying to get the amazing, like when he, he did the, because the first one, the amazing Spider-Man one got hit with one. And I just got an ecstatic thing. It's like, it's clear, an exclamation point. So I'm sure I'll get another one of those with him soon. He's working like a mad scientist on it. But anyway, we got a lot of stuff to discuss Still Winston.
Starting point is 00:29:27 We were just talking about Doom and Doomsday and all that. Well, November's Doomsday is getting an intriguing, working title as current pre-production budget is now revealed. As Avengers Doomsday gears up to begin shooting in the UK, the movie has been giving an intriguing Loki-related working title as Disney spent on pre-production costs are revealed. Josh Wilding writes, Avengers Doomsday is set to begin shooting in the UK any day now. According to public records by Forbes,
Starting point is 00:29:55 Disney has already spent double on pre-production 8 million compared to 2023's Antman and the Wask Quantumania. Not only does this point to the House of Mouse putting its weight behind the Marvel Studios movie, but it's likely a sign that there are some huge sets that are being built in comparison, the Ant Man. Three glue was shot almost entirely on the volume, giving it something of a lifeless feel in the process.
Starting point is 00:30:15 I think they, hopefully they've learned their lesson about that. The fact costs already racking up on Avengers Doomsday is bound to raise some eyebrows, particularly after the Russo Brothers reportedly spent as much as 320 million on their recent Netflix critical flopped electric state. How do you spend $320 million on that movie? Wait, I haven't seen it. Isn't that bad? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:34 I don't know if it is, but what is it? And why would you anybody say okay, you can question? What movie that you did you spend $320 million that not every single person has heard of? Because like you know F with Indiana Jones. Everybody knew Indiana Jones was out. Yeah. I understand. I understand that like you put 320 towards the Avengers. Okay. I understand the gamble towards the electric state. Who's getting fired? Of course it's worth remembering the Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame had a combined budget of 1.3 billion. with both movies making that back and then some until Avatar's re-release, Endgame was the highest grossing movie ever. Roster of actors, which reads like a roll call for the Oscars, Marvel had to go to great lengths to prevent production costs from ballooning. The site report explains, instead of filming the movies in the United States, where many of the cast are based, the movie will be shot in the historic Pinewood Studios in the UK, where studios get a cash reimbursement of up to 25.5% of the money they spend in the country. It's also been revealed that Doomsday Working Title is for all time. Productions UK. Loki fans will remember that for all time always is the TVA's motto and likely a
Starting point is 00:31:43 reference to the multiversal shenanigans we will see when Earth 616 is mightiest heroes battle, Dr. Doom. Some might take this as a confirmation that we're going to see the TVA and misminists through that was surely inevitable after Deadpole Wolverine. Loki is also expected to play a major role in the story as the god of mischief remains at the center of the multiverse as its battery. Well, we always create our own version of the story. Joe Russo recently said when asked which version of Secret Wars, a story told in 84 and 2015 will inspire these Avengers movies, so we use the comics as loose inspiration.
Starting point is 00:32:17 But you know, I grew up on the original run. That's something that got me into Marvel comic books. The Hickman run is also fantastic. They're very different from each other in a lot of ways. So we'll draw inspiration from both of them. While concept art from Doomsday and Secret Wars has leaked online, very little has been revealed about the movies. Very little.
Starting point is 00:32:32 There's a lot in those leaks. The buzz is shooting. is expected to take place behind closed doors in locations off limits of the paparazzi. It's set to come out in 26, but Secret Wars coming out in 2027. Okay, first things, first, shooting in the UK makes sense. Everybody's doing that. Everybody's getting that break, which makes a ton of sense. I think Star Wars is going to start doing a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I love the fact that they're not doing that. They're not just relying on the volume. It was lazy shit, man. Lazy shit. And people can say, oh, it was just because of the pandemic. Now they're relying on it after a bit. There was sometimes for the pandemic, but they started getting really relying on it. And the audience said, this looks like shit.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Like, it just, it's not, it's too, it's too fake. So there's that. The other side of it is, you know, the, the budget for this, like I said, electric state being that much money is, is insane. And whoever, and that's, that's as bad. That's way, you're right. That's way worse than allowing Indiana Jones to make $300 million. What is that?
Starting point is 00:33:32 Electric state goes, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, It's ridiculous. Especially a Netflix movie because I've yet to see a Netflix movie like make bank because the one, they don't really release their numbers like that. But I guarantee you, if somehow a Netflix movie popped off of Billy, they'd be bragging about that.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Sure, sure. And it's like, and did it bring in that many subscribers, the electric state? I've never heard of that. That's baffling to me. But the fact that they have this much confidence in it, it's got to be,
Starting point is 00:34:02 because you said it really well before when you compared them to like what they want to do in like Lord of the Ring style right like set up those three movies as boom boom boom and if you do that you can quickly get away from the fact that we haven't gotten a real big setup right because I think that I'll tell you
Starting point is 00:34:21 I think that Thunderbolts is going to set something up as far as like those characters like we're going to see them like they're going to be substantial I think what we're doing right now this is This is, I know the Royal Rumble people get introduced by a clock and it's like, three, two, one to come running in. Right now, every single wrestler is, is getting their entrance music right now.
Starting point is 00:34:46 And they're all getting their chance to do whatever. So we kind of know already from very minor spoiler, but the idea for Captain America, we need to bring the Avengers back. So that's what he's about to go do. You know what I mean? With Thunderbolts, we're going to find out what they're about to get into. We need to introduce the Fantastic Four because we got to introduce Doom, and they're probably in another universe,
Starting point is 00:35:06 and that's going to do whatever is going on there too. I think that that is literally what everything up until we get to Doomsday, and then Secret Wars is going to be, what are you doing? What are you doing? And then also trying to go back and go, huh, okay, we said that Chung Chi needed to do something cosmically. Maybe we should find a way to bring that back in, and okay, and you're trapped in another universe with Beast?
Starting point is 00:35:31 So we got to bring you back. And, okay, and then you were over here. I wonder if my boy, Kit Harrington, is actually going to show up, or if they just kind of quietly write him out since then. I don't think anyone even, and I hate to say this, and I love Kit Harrington. No one wouldn't even notice if he wasn't there because that movie, this wasn't a movie that everyone was like,
Starting point is 00:35:50 oh, I can't wait to see those characters next. I think that they're really going to focus in on Fantastic Four. I think that there's going to be more set up to Thunderbolts than we even realize. take out take out one of my five choices let's say pepper pots because it's just
Starting point is 00:36:08 because Destin is doing it he's been on the sidelines this entire time you're trying to get him back into the fold I think Shang Chi will be one of those five I understand it I understand the reason for that I don't think so but I understand I understand why you would come up with him
Starting point is 00:36:24 in the list but as far as the overall you know, what they're going to do, I think they need, Thunderbolts will hit. I think Thunderbolts, as far as hitting into the, not success, but hitting as far as moving the needle. It's going to move the needle. Like they're going to be relevant. They're going to be relevant to the overall thing that's happening. If you're building them up as this team, they're going to be,
Starting point is 00:36:47 they're going to have to do something moving forward. And then you get to Fantastic Four. I think Fantastic Four is really going to be the cornerstone of getting us interested in what's happening. I think that because we're on a different planet, a different universe at this point. So they're setting up a different universe that we have to get invested in right away with that. They're not, because it's not,
Starting point is 00:37:08 it's not the, what, 616, so it is. Yeah. It's not 616. It's going to be something completely different, right? And that's got to then set up whatever the hell is going on with doom.
Starting point is 00:37:19 And then doom has to cause absolute chaos in the first movie because he's got to set up how that, it's got to do a Thanos. He's got to come in that first one and go, you guys, Thanos was a bitch, basically, is what he needs to do in that first movie. And then you get to Spider-Man,
Starting point is 00:37:35 whatever the events happen of Spider-Man, of Doomsday leads into Spider-Man to where he's got to figure out what the hell just happened. I got to help out here. I got to do this. And then that leads into them ultimately going in, fighting Doom and Secret Wars, and then all shit goes down.
Starting point is 00:37:52 So just hearing all that, people are going to go, people are going to forget all about Captain America, Brave New World, forget all about the marvels if they can execute this. Yeah. No, I, I, and that's the thing. Just by the nature of the leaks, if those are accurate, you've already won. That, that you have already told so many, like, it doesn't mean that it couldn't be bad, because it could.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Of course. I'm not, I'm not going to put that out there in the sense that just by showing those little tips of the hats, you are clearly getting back to, like, legit stories doing your own, like, from the comics, doing your own take on it. You're creating excitement. Exactly. And I'll tell you, the reason why it's funny that you mentioned the idea of maybe Dark Phoenix happening again, just for like a quick aside, the reason why Dark Phoenix
Starting point is 00:38:43 honestly has never worked, they keep trying to shoehorn Phoenix. Yes. And not the Phoenix as a whole, but the Dark Phoenix saga into one movie that would never work. because of how much it spans. You genuinely need, if not two, maybe even a trilogy to get, she has the Phoenix. Then all of a sudden things kind of go a little weird,
Starting point is 00:39:05 and then we're dealing with it as like a big bad because of how Thanos-level scale the Phoenix can be. So I think it's the same thing with this. It would be a tragedy to try and get all of Secret Wars into one movie, so you do need to give it the time to breathe of have your main. movie that's focusing on it, your side movie, which was kind of the original Captain Marvel and Ant Man and the Wasp,
Starting point is 00:39:30 and then Endgame. You know, that, that, that, that, through line for all three, because this is a major event dealing with the Infinity Stones. It's the same thing here. Yeah, it is. And you get, you get, because what it ultimately has to, it's got to do a lot of different things. The first movie we know, you got to,
Starting point is 00:39:46 you have to make me feel that Dr. Doom is the most, the craziest villain that we've ever seen the most powerful villain that we've ever seen the most ruthless villain that we've ever seen you've got to make it his movie obviously with doomsday you've got to make it seem like there's just like like i said thanos who and that's not an easy test to do and then what you need to do after you get to secret wars once you've done that you have to set up the x-men i mean you have to you've got to
Starting point is 00:40:17 set up the new x-men and i'm sure we'll see the old x-men i'm sure but like we need to see the the new X-Men, and you have to show us who they are, and then this is who you're going to be with for the next 10 years. Like, after it's kind of end, and then you're like, well, don't worry, your journey watching Marvel movies is still not over. Now you got the X-Men. Now, enjoy. This multiverse stuff is over.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Because I think here's the other thing. They need to be very careful, and they do not need to ax Doom. They can have Doom be defeated, and Doom can go away. but doom is so central similar to Loki where it's like nah he always got a backup plan of a backup plan of a backup plan where it is kind of vital for him to come back and throw a wrench and things again and again and again but you do need him to be so much of a problem that they they shut him down and then if Robert wants to keep going after that sure but you could set it up maybe this doom is gone and we see see another doom or something like that. If you want to do something like that, I just the only thing I worry about, I really don't want them to one and done doom. That would not
Starting point is 00:41:30 be smart. I wonder how long they're going to, how long down he wants to do it. Right. So here's, it's interesting. It'll be interesting. Let's switch to D.C. for a second. Because this came also from, I think Snyder, we'll double check, but I
Starting point is 00:41:46 watched a bit of the hot mic history, so I believe this is where it came from. Oh, you don't like that for you. I hate it. But we'll talk about it. Superman promo art reveals new look at David Corencew's a man of steel. Movie said to be very jockey. Some new Superman merch has been spotted in the while giving us another look at David Cornswet as the man of steel. We also have some more test screening reactions. While fans await a second trailer of a DC studio Superman, we have a look at some new promo art featuring David Corencew's Man of Steel. We've heard some
Starting point is 00:42:15 mixed reports from test screenings with some heaping praise on James Gunn's DC reboot and others forcing concern that the film is somewhat lacking. This is to be expected when different groups of people watch a movie after all. One talking point that seems to come up a lot is the amount of humor fans can expect. And during the last episode of the Hot Mike, co-host Jeff Schneider said he heard the movie is very joking, mentioning the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as a comparison. James Gunn was never going to helm a dark or overly serious Superman movie. And we're not sure many fans of that kind of hero would have by
Starting point is 00:42:49 interest anyway even so the majority feel that there shouldn't be an overabundance of humor Snyder also reiterates a previous report that gun has a couple of surprise cameos lined up some of the some of the artwork guy does look like Superman I'll tell you that he really does okay all right so this is my this was always my concern with James Gunn taking over Superman we said this a long long time ago the guy is a funny dude and he likes likes humor in all of his movies. And sometimes he always has, this is the one thing that won't,
Starting point is 00:43:26 that I'm not worried about. There will be an emotional thread in this movie. All of his movies have emotional threats. Yeah. It's, it's the balance of James Gunn's humor that always gets me, right? Like, peacemaker calls for humor.
Starting point is 00:43:39 So you want it to be funny. It calls for humor with those characters. I've, I've grown to appreciate Guardians too way more than I did initially. but it's really, really jockey. Like overly joking in the fact that everybody, I think Batista's hilarious in the movie,
Starting point is 00:43:56 but he's just a freaking walking joke machine. He doesn't really have anything to do except tell jokes. And the question is, who's telling the jokes? Is it out of place or does it fit? I don't mind the jokes that they fit in the right place. Like if you've got Jimmy Olson cracking some jokes and there's some other characters who are cracking jokes at the right time, and it feels like okay that someone would tell a joke there but if it if Superman starts cracking
Starting point is 00:44:23 jokes and other things and it starts turning into a thing where it's like everybody's funny I hate that shit I'll put it to you this way if I had if I had to venture a guess Clark will but it they're gonna be like it'll be in the sense of him putting on the facade of being you know mild-mannered Clark Kent I think you're gonna end up with a lot of jokes out of Jimmy I got shy Gardner is what someone said that's what I was gonna say you're gonna get a shit ton of jokes out of guy gardner yeah that that i know for a fact that's relevant to the character right yes and and and nathan phillian you you you cast nathan phillian to do that look like i said if the character if it fits the character and it's like okay i don't mind laughs in
Starting point is 00:45:04 the theater i don't mind laughs if if it's relevant if it just like oh you know what this is just a james gun joke show because he's done that before he's done just joke shows and it's like oh it's taken a way like i think a perfect balance to me is guardians three it's a perfect i was going to ask if what about suicide squad suicide squad is different though man suicide squad is suicide squad is so insane with all the insane characters that it's very different than it it could call for humor because i i love the the sick humor in the suicide squad like that when they're when him and injure celba are are i don't know if everybody is i'm just going to say this because i don't want to spoil it for anyway but when they're in the jungle together and they're basically comparing their numbers and then when you get
Starting point is 00:45:47 the big reveal of what happened is one of the funniest things ever that's that is that is one of those movies that I wish I would have done a reaction to because I was in tears watching that but I don't want to see that in Superman I don't want to see that kind of stuff in Superman I it wouldn't bother me from the JSA because it sounds like that we're getting that and maybe that's part of the idea with Clark being like hey yo can we bring some like serious and seriousness to superheroing because you got guy over here and maybe Mr. Terrific is trying to keep him under wraps,
Starting point is 00:46:20 but everybody's, they're acting like the guardians. It's balanced. There's a balance. There's a balance. If it turns into Thor Ragnarok, I'm going to, I mean, not Ragnarok. Uh, love and thunder. Of course. If you guys love a thunder, you're going to burn this down. Yeah, then it's going to be like, what are we doing here? Like, why are we using this to, but I don't think it's going to go. I hope it goes creature commandos. I go out.
Starting point is 00:46:39 T.D., got bored. I think he got bored. I don't think he gave a shit. me he made that movie he didn't give a shit he was like i'm gonna do whatever i want to do and he don't think he really loves comic book movies i don't think he really cares i think he was just like i'm just gonna make whatever movie i want to make i i i hope they go creature commandos they don't need to go as raunchy because it's superman but i but i but if you give if you're giving me that level of like yeah there's a lot of funny stuff here but it's pretty damn serious you know what i mean like if that's what you're giving me and guardians three i think is your best example out of all them. I think that that is exactly what we're hoping for. We just got to wait and see it.
Starting point is 00:47:16 It just depends on who. Like I said, it's not, I don't mind it if it's, if it takes away from emotional moments, I mind it. If it takes place, you know, if it, if there's a reason to have it and you're like, okay, we're in, we're in kind of a good vibe here and you're feeling, everyone's laughing, everyone's laughing and then you stop and you have, then you have a nice emotional moment with Clark and and Lois or Superman and Lois and you're like, okay, now, now I'm, now I understand the vibe of this. If it doesn't feel earned, that's where I'm going to go. Here's my follow-up question.
Starting point is 00:47:47 Is it also who is telling what jokes? So like, it's part of what I'm saying. So, for example, are you okay if Superman himself is a little jokey, if they're dad jokes? Like, if he's like, because that's who he is. You know what I'm saying? Where he is, he is Mr. Truth Justice America way. If everything out of him, if he's going to do that is more of the, ha-ha, like, would that bother you?
Starting point is 00:48:09 or you, like, you see what I'm saying? No, I haven't seen the movie. So I don't, so I don't know, you know, it's like it, it doesn't, I can't say that or not, because if it doesn't, if it feels like Superman's out there cracking jokes when it should, like, right as he lands and he, you know, beats up a villain and then he cracks a joke right afterwards, like Arnold in the late 80s, yeah, it's going to, it's going to be stupid. And if he's doing dad jokes after, if it's not, if it's out of place, that's my main thing. Is it out of place?
Starting point is 00:48:38 Gotcha. So I don't know. We'll see. We still have a lot of time before that movie even comes out. I think the, I think the AI is listening, bro, because now all of a sudden, I've got an ad over here for electric state.
Starting point is 00:48:56 I don't know. Apparently John Carlos in it. I didn't know that. There we go. Yeah. Why is this so weird? I don't know what the hell are here. Now, we do have another.
Starting point is 00:49:07 got more Superman stuff here too. So James Gunn also reportedly still has some major casting surprises in store in general. So I guess this is past Superman because there was other the other cameo stuff was the Superman news. It's like you would assume it's going to be obviously Supergirl and then who knows who else. It'd be great. It'd be great if they could hold
Starting point is 00:49:35 the Batman news and no reporter gets a hold of it and then they debut Batman. That would be awesome. There's no world that happens, but it would be great. Superman, James Gunn still has some major casting surprises in store. James Gunn Superman is set to take flights in a fight under four months, but we're hearing that filmmakers still have some major casting surprises. We are now just four months away from the release of James Gunn Superman,
Starting point is 00:49:59 but it seems like there are a couple key cast members of the Guardians of the Galaxy director managed to keep under wraps during production in his latest newsletter, Jeff Snyder says he's heard that there are still some major casting surprises in gun superman. He believes that Kyle L. Biological Father Jorrell, that's right. I did hear him talking about this, not how Mike, is one of them. And we would assume that his mother, Lara Vaughn is another. Snyder speculates all that, and that's all it is, is that Tom Cruz, who signed a deal with Warner Brothers last year could be eyed for a DC role.
Starting point is 00:50:28 If Cruz was to sign up for a superhero project, it would have to be a major character, possibly a smaller one, but important. Jorrell could fit the bill, but we couldn't see a casting coup that that magnitude is staring out of the press or the rumor mill at the very least. Snyder adds, I thought it might be Guns, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, and that would be horrible. And who knows, it still might be, but a source suggests that Gunn wouldn't do that to Marvel's Kevin Feigy, seeing we haven't seen the last Star Lord in the MCU, right? From the leaks, it looks like he's going to be in Secret Wars. We can't think of many other characters that would be deemed vital to Superman lore that have a been cast, but a recent report on the latest test screen. He did mention surprise villains.
Starting point is 00:51:08 So perhaps General Zod will make an appearance. If Gunn in the studio have managed to keep these surprises secret for this long, we probably won't find out for sure until we're ready to watch the movie. Superman. Okay. I mean, so the Jarrell story. That to me would make sense. I mean, you look at it, it looks like, and I think Roker brought this up on his show yesterday,
Starting point is 00:51:28 too, which I agree with, is that in that scene when he's rescued by, by crypto, it looks like that's in the Fortress of Solitude area, right? So you would assume at some point he was at the Fortress of Solitude and that he's talking to Jarrell if they're going to do it the same way. I love the Tom Cruise casting as Jarrell, but the only thing with that, though, is that, and I guess the same argument could have been made with Marlon Brando, but when you see the character, you're not going to see Jarell, you're going to see Tom Cruise. I mean, you are.
Starting point is 00:52:00 With any big actor, I guess that's the true, too. I think that they brought up Bradley Cooper. I like the Bradley Cooper pick. No, no, no, no. You could do it because, I mean, I know you said you instantly clocked him in Tropic Thunder. No, I don't, I do not. I did not at all. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:52:16 I didn't realize it was him at first. I legitimately, the whole movie, I didn't get it until the end. They said, and Tom Cruise, I said, and what? And then I rewatch it. I was like, oh, my God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was, you mean, he did. But, I mean, the difference, though, is he was in full prosthetics.
Starting point is 00:52:32 in this he probably what he's got like silver hair which look I think and I it would be great to get him I thought Russell Crowe was such a great Jarrell I loved him as drill he was loved him as Jurel he was but I would like to see I think that that's where you could put a big actor in that but I also agree with them the comic movie that um it did what we just said about Batman hard to keep that quiet you know you got to really keep that quiet it's it is possible but to do that you are probably paying off every scooper every pay on what i'm not paying just to shut the hell up no you're not pay anybody no no one's getting paid off to
Starting point is 00:53:12 they're just they're just making sure that they just make sure six people know about it if they're doing if they're doing that scene they're they're basically doing it um with like you know a a room with james gun and david corn sweat and whoever the actor is and doing a thing and nobody knows about it that's how you keep that quiet because it doesn't matter. You're not paying off scoopers because that's, first of all, that's a horrible precedent. A president's horrible plus the fact that the scooper is going to go, okay, well,
Starting point is 00:53:41 it's just, it's a bad precedent to do it. But I think that in general, if you want to keep something quiet like that, in the way that you brought up wrestling before, right? I think about when the Hardy Boys came back to WrestleMania, nobody knew about it except like two or three people. Because if you can point, if you can point at who, it could be that is leaking the information, then you're doing it right. If any of you, if you can't trace it, then you're doing it where it's like,
Starting point is 00:54:09 this thing can get leaked. I get it. You hit it. Now that we're talking about it, hit a sore spot because I was like, I mean, that's what happened with Luca was this dude literally told his best friend over for the Lakers. It was like, hey, you want Luca? And nobody even, Luca didn't know.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Andy Davis didn't know that the commissioner was like, wait, what so like but he didn't hate it because it you know it gave the the lakers uh you know a marquee player again once lebron's gone so like yeah i you would have to do that i guess and then it i don't then batman doesn't work it would have to be a jorrell or something yeah and you and that one makes sense that you can do it um quiet because if you can just get a couple of people shooting in a room with david corin swid and you know a hologram but it's a it's he'd be live there, but you can make it a small, closed set. You can do that with that.
Starting point is 00:55:06 You know, if anything bigger than that, it's going to be tougher because the crew starts to get bigger, but there's a way to do it. There's a way to do it. What do you guys think about that casting in general, whether it's Tom Cruise or whoever it should be? Who do you guys think should play Jerell if they're even going to do Jerell? That should be the other part of the comments, whether it's in a live chat or on the replay.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Do you think that it's necessary to have Jarrell or no? Um, there's a couple of there's, we're going to do one more story. I'm trying to think, I think the one thing that I'll mention real quick and we don't have to dive too deep in it is that I wanted to talk about it because I just like him so much. Jason Ritter is going to join DC's lanterns in a key role. Um, and I love that. I, I, I think that that dude is, is he's hilarious. He's hilarious. He's hilarious. And obviously, you're like, well, of course he's hilarious. His dad was hilarious. He's so low key hilarious. And he does, um,
Starting point is 00:56:01 I mean, if they ever do, it might be painful for him, but if they ever do a biopic of his dad, he should absolutely play him. He's, it's, he, he's, he's, I've ever seen the video he did with the arugula's gone bad. Oh my God. It's the best. I think he's hilarious. So anyway, he's going to be in, uh, lanterns. He was in, um, Matlock.
Starting point is 00:56:23 I can't tell you if he was good in Metlock. I've only seen one episode of Metlock and that was the one Andrew Guy was in. Um, but I believe that he was good in it. So let's see. There's other one more you pick. We're either going to do Michael Fastbender talking about. And then, oh, you know what? I'm going to do this one, actually.
Starting point is 00:56:42 I'm going to do because there's a lot. There's a lot more to this. There's a lot to this story here. So let's let's do this one. And I think this comes from our buddy Josh Harwitz, at least some of it anyway, does. Michael Fastbender was on the Happy Sat Confused podcast. And so he talked to him, Michael Fasten about
Starting point is 00:57:01 some stuff, but there's also the rumor about Denzel Washington as Magneto, which we've been talking about for quite a while, and now those rumors are heating up even more. But the question is, he said he was cast in Black Panther. So let's see. Expend, Days of Future Past Star, Michael Fastbender has talked about Deadpool Wolverines farewell to the 20th Century Fox franchise and weighs in on Denzel Washington possibly taking over as Magneto. Fash Wilding rights after X-Men The Last Stand and X-Men Origins Wolverine underwhelmed fans. 20th Century Fox rebooted the franchise with 2011's X-Men First Class. The movie takes us back to the 60s to reveal the team's origins.
Starting point is 00:57:41 That explains how Professor X and Magneto met. In its closing moments, X-Men first class saw the Master of Magnetism's hatred for humanity and the best of him and he inadvertently sent a bullet into Charles Xavier's spine. It's the one of my favorite X-Men. They went their separate ways, Professor X, forming the X-Men and Magneto creating his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants franchise would have benefited from remaining in that period, but instead jumped from decade to decade and further confuse the timeline,
Starting point is 00:58:08 all while the cast never really aged. In fact, Magneto's motivations became increasingly muddled as a time past, but Fastbender's Eric Leshner remains a firm fan favorite. He was on Josh Harwich's show. The actor was asked if he saw Deadpool and Wolverine, a movie that seemingly bid farewell to 20th century Fox's X-Men franchise, with emotional montage playing over the credits. He said, I haven't seen it yet, but apparently they've taken a little extract from,
Starting point is 00:58:34 I signed off on something. He said, told about the sequence, the actor described this sweet. For me, and I'm betraying my own people, but my favorite of the comic book series world would be Deadpool and Iron Man, continued, movie-wise. Horowitz put it to Fastbender the Gladiator 2 star, Denzel Washington, has emerged as a possible contender to play Magneto in the Marvel Cinematic universe and the former master of magnetism is on board with the idea. He said, I think it's great.
Starting point is 00:59:02 I'm excited to see who does it. Brilliant, he's a heavyweight. I don't think I could even pass the baton. He's incredible. We'd expect Deadpool and Wolverine to feature a long list of X-Men franchise cameos. Instead, the focus shifted to characters like Blade and Electress, seemingly saving the team's return for Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars. After all, the expectation is that the heroes of 616 and 10,000, or what is that, 10,000,
Starting point is 00:59:25 will cross pass in those. which variants will see remains to be seen, particularly as Marvel Studios can pluck actors and characters from different timelines, the original X-Men trilogy in movies like First Class and Days of Future Past. Whoever ends up playing them, we're bound to get a new Magneto in the MCU, though the character has received a lot of screen time over the years.
Starting point is 00:59:43 With that in mind, utilizing some of the X-Men's other foes would be welcomed by comic book fans. Yeah, this is what I remember, what I don't understand about the Denzel rumor, is that Denzel kind of like said that, confirmed that he had a part in the new Black Panther movie. it is possible i mean you've now run into mutants in that you ran into namor in the second in the second black panthers so i i guess uh and and maybe also if if he thinks if magnito also there's a world
Starting point is 01:00:14 where all the humans are scrapping after the adamantium so he's going to go rob wakonda of their of their vibranium i don't know i mean i i i him as magnito would be fantastic i already hear the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the massive amount of pitchforks if he but like just from a pure acting would be one of the absolute best candidate standpoints he would crush yeah you have a different you know see this look i think i know if someone had this conversation the day one i don't know tuesday i do think there are times when studios feel like oh if we put somebody if we if we change the race or do something here, it'll, it'll make us look good on Twitter. I think that happens. I do think that
Starting point is 01:01:01 happens for sure. This is not one of those moments for a lot of different reasons. As you just said, Denzel is a heavyweight. Denzel is Denzel. The other side of it is the multiverse adds for a lot of different magnetos, a lot of different races, anything that you can do. The other side of it is the time period. The time period of when we're going to land, it's no longer, it would turn him into a very old man from, you know, the time of where you would go the, from the Holocaust is what happened. So you'd have to change that up a bit. This is, you have to look it as a variant of Magneto. And if that variant is Denzel Washington, sign me up. It's Denzel Washington. And he's going to, and he's going to bring that
Starting point is 01:01:49 emotion and that power to Magneto about the, Denzel Washington is so damn good that, he could get the audience saying, you know what? F the humans. He's that good. He's basically, he's going to be, again, playing Malcolm X is what Magneto essentially was. Exactly. And that's why, to me, it was always going to be interesting. I just, it's one of those things that, like, while I 100% hear that, I know there were people that were losing their shit about Zoe Kravitz, who was fantastic as Catwoman, even though you had the example of Earth the kit doing it back in the day so like they're get get out of here with all of that but especially with magnito when you know that again this man has played malcolm x and that is a large amount of
Starting point is 01:02:37 what he preaches was based off like magnita was based off of that it would be kind of wild to not i understand also the conversation about potentially changing his ethnicity and backstory and how vital that is to a lot of stuff but yeah but it's different as far as time and as far as multi multiverse goes however my big concern is commitment how much does he want to do it because he already said i've only got like five more movies in me and i don't want to do anymore you're only a magneto and like two or three movies and the last five movies denzil wants to do is all x-men movies no but that but that would actually be why i wouldn't hate the idea if the idea is i'm doing black panther and like secret wars because then it's he's just one of the
Starting point is 01:03:23 magneto variance as you mentioned and then he's not the magneto that we're dealing with going forward i'll tell what you if you were going to go with a black magnino do you know who i'd want you know who i'd want to go with right now or harshal ollie that's who i'd want to go yeah now you're using him in a way that now his age now he's younger yeah he's older magnito he's younger yeah i i get that a dude i still it's too late now because jean carlo obviously was in was in was in Brave New World as Sidewinder. I wanted the John Carlo Danzel.
Starting point is 01:03:59 John Carlo is Professor X. Denzel is Magneto. That would have been fantastic. Yeah. They got to get, they got to take Marciaulay out of blade. He's going to be a thousand years old by the time they finally make them away. If you're going to make any older black dude play Blade, it has to be Farrell,
Starting point is 01:04:15 because that man ages like a vampire. So that's the only one. All right. Well, that's everything really today. There's a couple of other things that we could have talked about but people could people can bring that up on the on the question section of it because Winston's trying to catch Brett and right now he's about 70 to tie him. 33 going into the question around before we do it Winston what's going on in the channel man let him know yeah yeah yeah um so uh what of what we got going on we had a blurred breakdown yesterday
Starting point is 01:04:46 um so as i mentioned with the car thing um it's a lot of money so what i'm actually going to be doing is I'm going to be doing a marathon stream. I'm going to be on for roughly about 12 to 14 hours. I believe I will do a mini one this coming Sunday for about four or five hours, but then next weekend I will be there for over half a day. So come hang out with me. We're going to play rivals. We're going to watch movies together.
Starting point is 01:05:14 We're going to play jackbox together and do all sorts of stuff. So do not miss it. YouTube.com slash a swaggy blurt and Twitch. on TV slash a swaggy blurt. Watch Winston turn into a full-on car salesman in the second here. If we win today, if Winston beats Brett, I'll give Winston Coy's share the bonus today, too. Hey, yo! All right, I'm going to need Joe.
Starting point is 01:05:39 Help a brother out, man. It's hard out here for a bit when he's trying to get the money for the rent. Come on. All right. Let's start with the first one. That's Nathan Drake. what's going on at Netflix? Russo Brothers movie costs $320 million
Starting point is 01:05:52 that's getting shredded by critics. I don't know. I don't look if that's, you know what that is, Winston? $320 million green light. That's fuck you money. That's like, what do they want? They want $3.20.
Starting point is 01:06:06 That's it. Yeah, sure. Go ahead. Ted, you sure? Has it now. Yeah. That's, bro, they would have got Logan Paul and or Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
Starting point is 01:06:17 and they got the NFL and got Beyonce to play Christmas. Netflix definitely has F you money at this point. F new money. And it's like, so okay, 320 is, okay, whatever, it's fine. We lost three times. Did we spend 320? All right. What else we got?
Starting point is 01:06:32 It's like where Warner Brothers, they're spending more than 73 cents right now, they're panicking. But yeah, Netflix right now, if you can spend 320 and you have, and it doesn't even hurt you at all, and the fact that it's getting shredded by critics, They're just playing on a different field right now. I do think it is absolutely ludicrous that they greenlit it for that and allowed it to happen. I think that's a bad precedent.
Starting point is 01:06:59 But it clearly is eat this. Shea Markell, RIP to Camarda de Les Reyes. I looked him up after seeing all his scenes as White Tiger. He was really good in that show. And Daredeau, Born again, only learned he since passed away. Yeah, he passed, what was it, 2023? How many passed away? It was so sad, dude, because he, yeah, it was the, either the end of 2023 or the beginning of
Starting point is 01:07:23 2024, something like that. But I guess what they were saying about it was similar to Chadwick. He knew as he was shooting the role and was apparently in pain every single day he was shooting. But it was for him, the role of a lifetime to play and was excited to do it. And I just, he is so good. It just, it bums me out that. you know after this show is over we're not going to get any more of him i know and he was he was really really good um she also says harrison ford eating a chip during the opening monologue of the sag
Starting point is 01:07:54 awards is laris it was makes me want to watch all a shrinking such a fun show i gotta finish i got i got to start season two yeah i forget winston were you a dexter guy i was through the trinity killer and then i just couldn't finish okay um the new the new show the what's it called um oh my god born born again know what it's called no that's dare devil It's like first blood or something like that first kills. Hell is it. Hold on. Dexter prequel show.
Starting point is 01:08:21 People are going to be telling us, but I'm not looking at it. Original sin, so not even close. Original sin is the name of the show. That it's a great show. It's really, really good. Dexter Born again is a very different show than Davele. Yeah, but yeah, original sin is awesome. And it's the most, it's the most like the first three or four seasons.
Starting point is 01:08:45 of Dexter that I've seen in quite a while. It's really good. Shea Markell. What if Sadie has been cast as Kitty Pry? Also, but the thing is, again, there's no difference with her as Gene Gray or Kitty Pry because they're both X-Men and they're both going to have that
Starting point is 01:09:03 Lauren Shuler-Domner thing. So either way, it's still X-Men related. Maybe, maybe, I mean, you kept fire, you said Firestar, maybe Firestar. I just don't know how directly, tied to fire fire star is with x-men if you could make the angle of well she's a part of spider man and his amazing friends because that was i believe where she initially showed up if you could
Starting point is 01:09:26 make that argument one way or the other but i i don't i don't know yeah um we'll see i mean it's going to be great to see when she finally does get revealed or whoever it is mike k happy friday everyone i can't watch live i still wanted to throw support your way thank you mike rooting for you guys to win this week there you go for winston also i do not think sadie's playing mary Jane because why would you do that as a diet? Well, I think that the answer is because she probably wants to do it herself and she probably wants to focus on other things and doesn't want it. Because stories really, I mean, the thing is, you've really told a lot of the MJ story and she doesn't remember Peter. So I can see why they would go that route and why they could go that route. But to
Starting point is 01:10:06 Winston's earlier point, the thing is, why would you do this as a diet because that's a major star, but maybe you don't have to pay her as much. I don't know. I don't know the answer. to it, but I think that we'll have to see how it's written. What do you think? Pretty much on parable. It's just, I'm on the same page. I would agree with that, yeah. Beagle Studios, I came to the realization today.
Starting point is 01:10:27 It's shocked me because I'm a big cheerleader for Marvel, but I'm kind of burned out with the MCU. Like, nothing really excites me with them in a genuine way. I'm more excited to watch Invincible. Bro. Watch the first three episodes of season two. Okay, okay. I haven't seen anything.
Starting point is 01:10:40 God damn it. I fall for it every time. I fall for it every time. single time. It's damn shame because you are missing. I know. I heard it's good. I know. I know. I know. I hear good things. But as far as, look, I will tell you,
Starting point is 01:10:58 the first, I haven't been excited for an MCU thing. I was very curious and couldn't wait to see Deadpool Wolverine, for sure. But excited, the last movie was really excited to see in the MCU. I mean, again, Guardians 3 was very I was I wanted to see that one so that might be there but the last movie was like oh let's go was no way home that was the last one that I was like let's go I'm feeling that way with the way that we're leading up to those and even though we talked about it today I'm I'm starting to get some hype for the Avengers and and that Spider-Man thing I'm not as pumped for Fantastic 4 I do think Thunderbolts is going to be the best moment movie. That is, the horrible movie. So I'm, I'm with you in that I was super geeked out for Spider-Man,
Starting point is 01:11:49 very pumped for Guardians. I was super geeked out for Deadpool and Wolverine. I was excited for him to come back. Neither of those movies had fallen on me one way or the other, and I knew we were going to get the homage, and it delivered for me on a lot of that. I could care less about Captain America. I was only excited because I'm a boy Carl. And then I'm super geeked out about Thunderbolts. I just have a gut feeling. I have a gut feeling similar to what you have. This movie is going to be fantastic. I think it's going to be the best movie.
Starting point is 01:12:20 As far as best movie goes, the most money is fantastic for. The best movie is Thunderbolts. Abel John, what up, Chris? What up, Abel? The original MCU Trinity will be missed, but who do you think will fill those spots? So Thor Caput and Iron Man? I think they're really going to go all in on the,
Starting point is 01:12:40 I would on the funder bolts probably but I would say probably spider-man strange I don't know who number three is but those those those two because you've already got that chemistry there with them they've already kind of been a little bit of the centerpiece as that goes I just don't know maybe star lord it depends on how much you want Chris Pat to really stick around yeah I don't he wants to stick around but yeah I think he's just going to have that I think's been part of how long how long do you think secret wars is going to be it's going to be probably three hours 15
Starting point is 01:13:12 3 wow that long yeah geez that's a lot um TX rogue driver this one is mainly for Corey Corey didn't Mr. Matthews where are you
Starting point is 01:13:26 Cory well all can answer if you all like this talk about Doomsday and Secret Wars got me to pick the ominous do you prefer floppies over a TBBA and ominous I don't know any of that and I don't even know if Corey would know that because Corey has been
Starting point is 01:13:39 Corey likes floppies, I guess. What about you, Winston? Because I don't know, I don't, I don't, all I know is floppy this, bro. Those, those were, those were, those were, those were cool used to, like, do your little drawings on them and whatnot so you can label them and shit. I do miss that shit. Corey, stop taking a shit in the corner. DG. Winston, always wise to be wary of pricks.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Yeah. Yeah, no, I hate, dude. It's funny that I have as many tattoos as I do, and I hate needles. Yeah. Yeah. It's all it's different kind. Armada, better director, Colin Travaro or Mark Webb? Um, I like, I like both those guys.
Starting point is 01:14:20 And I like, I mean, I've interviewed Colin. Collins is a really nice guy. So I don't, I don't really want, I mean, whose movies do I like better? So I think Mark Webb's, I think, um, I need a second to pull up a couple of them. But didn't Mark, didn't Mark Webb do the, the, the Joseph Gordon-Levett movie, the sunshine, what the hell is that? What's his, what's his movies? See what he does. Yeah, 500 days of summer.
Starting point is 01:14:44 I really liked a lot. Never saw gifted. Snow White's coming out, so we don't know how that's going to be. The Amazing Spider-Man. The Amazing Spider-Man. The Amazing Spider-Man. One gets better every time I watch it. Amazing Spider-Man 2, not so much.
Starting point is 01:14:58 And Day Drinker, I never. That's enough for Mark Webb. And then the other one was who? Colin Chavarro, yeah. So let's see. Colin Travaro. Well, I don't know, man, because, like, safety not guaranteed is awesome.
Starting point is 01:15:11 Jurassic World, the first one, I don't mind. Safety, a book of Henry, I never saw, but I heard it was the Farts. Yeah, and then Dominion. He didn't do rights, this guy, okay. But I'd still, I'd probably say Mark Webb. I'd probably say Mark Webb. Mark Webb. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:28 Because, like, the first Jurassic World cool. But then after that, I'm like, bro. He didn't do the second one, but he did the third. He came back, though, with that. It was not good. No, it was. Jason Ashcroft. Snyder said there's a power struggle at Warner Bros.
Starting point is 01:15:43 He seems to think if DeLuca and Abdi are let go, then Gun will move off of Matt Reeves' Batman trilogy. I swear if that happens, a massive mistake. Interesting. And that would make sense, right? If it's DeLuca and Abdi that are essentially saying, hey, we got to get this stuff done because the money that it made for us and we have to make it happen.
Starting point is 01:16:00 And Gun's like, well, wait a minute, I'm trying to get my own Batman here. Do we have to continue? You can see where the power struggle would absolutely come. I think you mentioned to me off air where we were talking about Peter Saffron, potentially is that there's the rumor that if if deluca and abdi do go that um zoloff wants um him to go full wb pictures yeah yeah and he wants him to run the whole thing which you can understand but that would leave gun solely in charge of DCU and i think that's a massive error um because they
Starting point is 01:16:29 even talked about uh uh he didn't want to do that but then they're number he doesn't want to do that but then they're number three uh i don't remember shantal something i can't pronounce her last name they were saying that she's not really ready to step up to the co-CEO level right because james going to set it even when he was on harwoods's show he doesn't want to do the business side of things he wants to be the creative guy so like you'd have to find a counterpart you'd have to replace them um you'd have to do that you couldn't give him sole because he wouldn't want it uh as far if saffron wants to run the whole thing and they feel like he can then so be it you know but uh the only thing, though, that I'll tell you, Jason, as far as
Starting point is 01:17:10 I want to see another Batman with Robert Patton's. The problem is, it's turning into blade. I am terrified. Even, even Pattinson was like, I know, he's getting, this needs to happen soon.
Starting point is 01:17:25 Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah. So, we'll see. I, I want to see it, but I think that you got it, at some point you're going to have to cut it. At some point. Yeah. Ryan King. I've been watching you since 2010, Christian. You're my favorite online personality. Oh, thanks, Ryan. Your goofy humor is always what keeps me around and the lunacy. Yeah, well, thank you. I appreciate it. I don't know what lunacy you're talking about.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Hey, man. Oh, Lord. Oh, yeah. Winston, what's up me? What's up, big balls? How you doing, baby? Hey, you know, it's rainy in L.A., man. How you do? Oh, yeah. It's raining all the time with me. It's because I've been drinking Sprite and then I get with the ladies. Drink Sprite and then you get with the ladies? Yeah, it gets me all wired. Oh, I get it.
Starting point is 01:18:11 Obey your thirst. That makes sense. Yeah, I call my balls Sprite. And then they're nasty. Everybody gets nasty. Oh, yeah. Do you, do the ladies say you taste like living line? Well, it depends on what I've been eaten.
Starting point is 01:18:29 Oh, okay. And sometimes it's ladies, if you know what I mean. Big balls, you wild boy. he's nuts he's so nuts man he's a dirty bastard um right let's see um you want to talk about a bad movie why was better man ever approved people said that movie's supposed to be great really have you seen it i've saw about like 30 minutes of it and was like i'm good it's got tremendous reviews for men. Did they all spend $30?
Starting point is 01:19:04 Well, that's not an indication. Dred made $30. And Dread was awesome. There's movies that have eaten shit that are good. Look, I can't speak on it either way. I didn't see it. But from what I heard. Somebody was watching it and I sat down for about 30 minutes before I had to go.
Starting point is 01:19:18 And I said, this is, okay. Joyous Romer. Hey, Christian, may the force be with you. Thank you, Joyce. Sadie Sink is a great young talent. Yeah, I think so. You don't. He's a great young talent.
Starting point is 01:19:31 Or maybe you didn't mean to put the question mark in there. But the answer, if you're asking question, yes. If you're making a statement, agreed. Nathan Drake, my Matt Friends, Giamati is amazing, almost perfect. Yeah, Matt Friend is, he's one of the best out there. I just saw him actually and popped up on the news. He just, his impressions are awesome. I love the thing he did with Goldblum on stage.
Starting point is 01:19:55 I'd love to get Matt Friend on the show. That'd be great. Jason Ashcroft. I would much rather have Matt Reeves Batman Universe. than anything else. I mean, I get it, but it's just not the plan. That's not their plan anymore. I can't fathom why Warner Bros. would even contemplate doing this. They fumbled Affleck and now it seems Reeves. Well, you got to remember this. When you have, you have a slate and things that you're doing and if all the things are going wrong and then you have a couple things on the side that are going
Starting point is 01:20:20 right, but then you bring new people in to do it and they go, we don't want your things in the same way that they didn't want the DC universe, but guess, but guess what? Those movies ate shit, all the other ones minus Aquaman which kind of broke even but they were able to go okay nobody cares see you later they're having more of a struggle with the Batman because it didn't do bad but the longer it takes the more they're going to have to say look guys how much longer are we going to do this and they'll be in the right to say so because the flash the flash and what was the other one there was another one that is Shazam if those two movies would have crushed they'd be in a big dilemma right now if those movies would have made like 600 700 800 million dollars they'd be in a
Starting point is 01:20:59 big dilemma right now. Zazelof wouldn't. Zazov would be happy, but Gunn and Saffron would be in a dilemma because they would be probably forced to use some of those cats. That's why they always said, well, we're keeping the door open. That door would have been shutting all of their faces since then. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:15 Yeah. No, I'm on the same page with you. And I, that is where they are truly in a weird void and they have been this entire time. The only other thing I think making it worse, you are trying to build something major out like this, but the speed at which this is all going at times
Starting point is 01:21:34 coupled with what you keep announcing is the thing that gets a little bit scary. Like obviously Superman is coming this summer, but based on what we've announced and then stuff not announced, but then WB freaking out and Zazov axing stuff left and right, like you're just running into all these weird kind of road speed bumps.
Starting point is 01:21:54 So we'll see. Ryan King, your mad hatter impression from the O. G. Alice is awesome. Oh, thank you very much. I really love it. Oh, my goodness. Mustard. Those that don't be silly. Lemon, that's different. Can you give me your thoughts on my favorite Disney classic, the hunchback of Notre Dame? Well, everybody's running. People are running and ringing bells. Yes, they're right. Bing, ring, ring, and the guy's all flounced over. It's really weird. That's a good movie. It is a good movie. And the gestures, the pipes, bro. I can't even hit
Starting point is 01:22:28 that note. I love that song. The bells of, no, I can't, that shit is too high, but. Decent. I tell you that, that little one was belting out Taylor Swift and Wicked at karaoke when we were in Florida. Was she?
Starting point is 01:22:45 Jason Ashcroft. Any advice for someone who recently got cheated on? Oh, man. Maybe not the right platform, but I'm struggling since. I don't know what to do or move forward. Thanks for all you guys do. Well, there's a lot to go with that, Jason. I mean, the question is, you know did you stay yeah and question two is how long were you together question three is how old are
Starting point is 01:23:04 they they all they all they all these different things right they all they all they all they they all lead back to the same answer is that you know as much as it hurts you got to just move on and ultimately realize wouldn't a person for you if you can like if that if that person did that then they did your favor i fully agree it also not that don't need to get into your business but like also what we're talking is this is this one of the those things where y'all were at a party together and she got drunk if she kissed somebody or are you it's been it's going on for a while and it was deceitful right like it was it was it a mistake or was it deceitful like they're because sometimes depending on again relationship stuff too it's like look
Starting point is 01:23:45 the trust once a trust is broken though trust is broken no no no i fully agree with that that that i'm on the same page uh it's happened to me once in college and once before i met christin and i think biggest thing above all else. A, consider it more, it's going to sound weird to say, but consider it more of a blessing and less of a judgment on you and your character as a person and
Starting point is 01:24:10 more of who they are and what to not look for in a future partner. A hundred percent. A sad movie guy. While M.J. makes sense for a spidey movie. It feels weird to introduce Mary Jane after making a point to give Zendias, MJ the Watson last name
Starting point is 01:24:26 in No Way Home. I agree. respects Snyder, but he misses more than he hits. Well, that's not necessarily true. Like, where, first of all, when you, there are things that happen inside of scruping. I can say from a lot of different people that I know and things. The information that they're getting is not necessarily, like you said, a miss. It's of, okay, you know, at one point, she was on the board. They were like, what, we want her for Jean Grey.
Starting point is 01:24:51 And then a meeting a month later, said, you know what? What if we actually, what do you guys think about her as MJ? And it could switch just like that. Doesn't mean his report was wrong. It means that the report is switched. It means that he's, you would say that he's pretty tapped into this shit because he gets a lot of stuff right. So I wouldn't do me a favor though.
Starting point is 01:25:13 Also make the list because people make you, when you talk in absolutes too, you got to make that list. You got to say, are here are the things that he got wrong. Here are the things he got right. You got to make that right. I know. You got to make that work.
Starting point is 01:25:26 Okay. So, but as far as, but I do understand his point, it is, it's, it's the same, it's the same answer, Winston, it's all about execution. How are you going to do it? Right. Yeah. All right. Winston, you're 50, my friend. You need, come on, y'all. 53. 53. Fifty three. Fifty three. It's for the whip. This for the whip. Simon's section. Christian, can you ask Roxy if it's true that she landed a role in the film Y&S starring Kate Baggins Lowe's 10. I can confirm. It's true. It was in the trades. she she is she is in london right now i was in the trade
Starting point is 01:25:59 i was confused when i saw the trade i was like are there more than what roxy strives got for her i send it to um i sent it to sam who loves roxy she was very excited uh i hope that sadie sink is jean gray or someone different agreed not mary jane i agree her being married with undercuts and dyes mj and all the chemistry and history they have that i don't agree with because you haven't seen the movie this is what anytime any like what i can say is what i'm worried about is that if they don't do it correctly it could undercut zendaya's uh chemistry but you can't say definitively that it will
Starting point is 01:26:37 like you even see the movie do we also don't even know this is not something we've even talked about what if we end up with one of two things either ben riley which is a clone of peter or we end up with another peter because we're already getting what feels like another universe of stuff and that's his MJ. You know what I'm saying? So we're not even looking at this Peter we've been following. We are following a Peter that looks like Tom as well. Which could be confusing as shit, but
Starting point is 01:27:02 they're not past confusing us. Derek Johnson, he's back. Sorry, I've been able to watch live. The financial sector is literally in depressionary lunacy, understood. Just a tip. Canada, Mexico, and France are going to experience a huge boom to do with that what you will. Love
Starting point is 01:27:18 the show, as always, guys. Derek is the man. Derek, We'll welcome you back once again with open arms. I hope you're okay. And keep kicking ass, my friend. DJ Case with some support. DJKs was, as we are now at 54.
Starting point is 01:27:34 Winston, getting closer. Come on. Okay. So the next one after DJKs, throwing in the support here. And again, thank you guys are doing so and make sure if you haven't checked that already. I mean,
Starting point is 01:27:44 you've, you got the trade coffee or Kristen did. Yeah, she loves it. So good. So good. Absolutely loves it. Jay Mobile in this world, Sadie Sink being MJ would totally stir up lots of the real MJ type toxicity. Another reason why I hope she's not Mary Jane. Yeah, I get it.
Starting point is 01:28:09 I understand. I agree with that. Yeah, like finally a real MJ? Like that type thing. A thousand percent. Yeah, I get it. I get it. That could undercut Zendaya stuff.
Starting point is 01:28:22 by that way. But you know, you always hope for the good and people, but you never know. Well, the problem is when we're in a world now, we're everything, but especially with movies and TV, people always want to throw in their mouth and run off on it. Just don't even open that door. Yeah. Nathan Drake, where will Rogers go?
Starting point is 01:28:44 Giants or Steelers? You want where I hope he goes? Steelers. Take him, McCoug. I hope he retires. Just go. way actually he'll be goes to the vikings and then we end up in a situation where he just did all the brett farb stuff all over again yeah could be uh king of the wicker people is in zandai mj real name
Starting point is 01:29:03 michel jones technically there really hasn't been a mary jane yet to avoid issues i would like her to play fire star yeah i think that's the uh that's what a lot of people are are saying they want to see her play fire star for sure mary jane one is interesting and i and i'm and here's the other thing though I wonder like because I think a lot of times I do feel more so the Snyder is more on point than he is off but I wonder if sometimes scooper is not just Snyder but other people they're fed the farts on purpose you know what I mean to get that out there to get people away from the sniff away from the real trail yeah I mean what the I actually really enjoy the lucky number sloven even though it's kind of a mess of a movie but the whole concept of the Kansas City shuffle yeah right look over here so I can do something over here yeah uh Zee Vincent, could the siege perilous come into play rolling the old X-Men into the new X-Men if you know. That's actually not a bad idea. I mean, normally the way that I remember it being the case is that's how Bastion was made, essentially, the siege perilous with Mastermold, kind of turning him into that whole situation. But I don't hate that idea if that is how we get that.
Starting point is 01:30:12 I guess if you're going to do that, though, I feel like you got to do it, even though Doom isn't really involved in that, just because, is magical and the siege perilous is magic based but we'll see it's not a bad plan though go pal coming in hot i agree with you too about sadie sink i hope they cast her as someone who's going to come back and not just in spitey's solo stories yeah i i i want to see i have a larger role i agree gregory dep hi hey winston and christian i love the conversation i wonder the next 10 for the mcc will be x-men or lead up to avengers versus x-men i think a little bit of both a few X-Men are Avengers and maybe vice versa. I think Superman 100.
Starting point is 01:30:51 I don't get the last part of that, but the rest of it I got. Yeah, a few are Avengers and maybe vice versa. Yeah, I think that a large majority of it is going to, they're going to be put center stage. I genuinely think it's going to be put center stage for sure. So, yeah. I think they're going to spend a lot of time with the X-Men in single movies, solo movies, you know, big team movies.
Starting point is 01:31:15 And then they'll lead up to the X-Men, depending on who are the Avengers. I will say, if they start building out the Avengers now from Thunderbolts out, and then you'll actually know who the Avengers are, then maybe there'll be a different Avengers that the X-Men can fight, because they're not going to be the classic Avengers. Go, pal. It would be a crime to get Sadie for a solo outing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:33 Yeah. If it's just a solo outing, one movie, that would be a bummer. To what she follows it up. All I've heard about Electric State is Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown. I love Pratt on Everwood alongside Sharon Carter, but it's wearing on me. I never saw everyone. I never did either. I don't know it.
Starting point is 01:31:48 I don't know well enough. No, I remember hearing that Chris and Millie had a movie together. I didn't know what was this one. And I even remember something with viral about she was in, like a dress was a little too short and crisp in front of her. That was for the promotion of this. Yes. Go pal.
Starting point is 01:32:03 As not a basketball guy, the biggest surprise of the Luca trade was finding out that AD is 32. In my head, he's still the college kid from the Olympics. Yeah, no, he is, he is 32 years old and has been dealing. with injuries his entire time. So that's why it's weird to trade a 25-year-old, barely getting into their prime for a 32-year-old, which, again, in real life, young as hell. In basketball years, it's pretty damn old.
Starting point is 01:32:28 Andrew Carnes, after episode seven, you guys on Collider debated how much Star Wars should. Oh, should. Wait. After episode seven, you guys on Collider, debated how much Star Wars should they do so it doesn't get overdone? now after piles of shit, Star Wars is dead.
Starting point is 01:32:45 DC'd take no... Well, it's not dead. Dead means that it's not happening anymore and no one is seeing it. It's in the shits. It's definitely in the ICU. I always say, like, you know, Star Trek isn't even dead. And Star Trek movies, they're not making them right now.
Starting point is 01:32:59 They're not dead. They're just not high up. I mean, westerns aren't, musicals aren't very popular. They're not dead. Dead means you're not making them anymore. That's dead. People always say that about things in general. It's that. Star Wars is in the shits.
Starting point is 01:33:13 There's no doubt about it. It's in the shits. But if dead means you have no sign of life and you can't come back at all, there's ways for it to come back. Now, whether or not they can make it come back or not is a very different conversation. But dead means that there's no chance of it ever returning and there's nothing that they can do to make it live. Is Kathleen still leaving? Who the fuck knows? God damn.
Starting point is 01:33:38 I'm sorry. Didn't me to press a button. No, no. It's not a button. a button about her. It's a button more so about like just like the conflicting stories that are going everywhere. The report is like, yeah, she's leaving. And then she
Starting point is 01:33:51 goes, no, I'm here. I'm not. I'm going to retire soon. And then they're like, no, it's going to happen at celebration. No, she's sticking around. No, she's leaving. It's like, it's been happening forever. So I just, who knows? Who knows? All right. Silly Pants McGillicuddy says, no. DJ Case gifting 10
Starting point is 01:34:09 memberships. Thank you, DJ. And that's a really good gift right now because for people, whether you want to be a member or whether you want to be a patron, I have so many of the unedited reactions coming out. I just, I have, I think I'm going to put, we just put Spider-Man 2 up there. I think the next one I'm going to do is actually Avengers. The first Avengers is going to be the non-edited version.
Starting point is 01:34:29 So if you, if DJ Case just gifted you a membership, we have access to it, you have access to the Capes and Kals comic book, the live streams that we do, the exclusive live streams, exclusive Q&As that we do. So it's a good time to be a member of over 300 members now. So pretty great. and over 300 patrons. So really appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:34:47 Go pal. Denzel reminds me when the governor wouldn't let WFT use RFK Stadium unless a racist founder integrated the team. So he signed all pro Bobby Mitchell. Uka wouldn't let WFT? No? I don't know. WFTU's RFK Stadium
Starting point is 01:35:07 unless our racist founder integrated. Oh, Washington football team. Okay. use the RF stadium which is either city of a less so okay yeah um so Denzel reminds me why is Denzel remind you that that's what I don't know I'm curious yeah Joey support for Winston there you go Joe and thank you how are we doing you got about four you need you know now you need 39 to win okay come on y'all we can do this Gregory dr. Gregory take advantage of that stuff man take advantage of all the stuff that we offer
Starting point is 01:35:39 please go look at the capes and cows commonplace the whole run is almost done and you get access to it and all that stuff so please take advantage you can watch all the archives of the unedited description so good time to be a member john lee winston have you seen invincible season three the finale was amazing the voice acting and writing is top notch props to stephen young for this season it was absolutely fantastic i was watching every single week erin paul has a fantastic role and an episode dedicated to him And you know the roller coasters he can take us on and for anybody that watched him in Breaking Bad and stuff he's done since. But yes, the last two episodes of the last three, honestly, but especially these last two episodes of season three were incredible. And anybody that's complaining about the animation can kick rocks, man. The animation is great. It's specifically meant to look the way that it looks like that on purpose. And they still brought it even more so in this final episode, man.
Starting point is 01:36:36 It was so good. Yeah, I hear people just raving about it. So happy to hear it. Okay. Let's see. Next one. I want to make sure we have the next one here. And it's GoPel.
Starting point is 01:36:50 They've been saying that Julia Butters will be Kitty Pride. She's the kid from the Gosling assassin movie on Netflix. Oh, okay. Another super expensive Bruce. I saw that one. I was the gray man. That one. I liked that.
Starting point is 01:37:02 I think Corey and I were the only, or Corey and I were the only ones who liked that, that movie. Why don't I go? Wait, wait, wait. Oh, that wasn't, Corey, Corey, cool, core. Yeah, yeah. Oh, by the way, so for people who want to see it, this is, uh, oh, get, hold on, sorry. Uh, okay.
Starting point is 01:37:21 Kate Beck and Sale and Louis Tan are underway in the UK under the radar action thrill, a lioness capstone is financing the film about an ex-black ops team who will reunite to pull off a desperate heist to save the life of their leaders, eight-year-old daughter, also starring our Rasmus Hartaker, Alice Craig, Bailey Patrick, Tom Bennett, Matt Willis, and Oxy Stryor. There you know. Two things about that that are interesting. One, Kate Beckinsel looks great.
Starting point is 01:37:50 She is aging like fine wine. And two, do you remember the first interview I did with you over Cloud Alive was with Louis Tan? Was I there for that? He was doing, it was a monk show on Netflix. I'm trying to remember what it was. I was there. I kind of were.
Starting point is 01:38:06 Because there's a photo. There's a photo of me with Rox. it rocks so it's also serendipitous i'm sure you guys interviewed him a couple of times but like roxy already knows lewis because of that for sure yeah yeah yeah and she's a big fan of cobra cash so she talked to him about that uh go pal oh we did that one already uh matt thomas what up matt those movies for winston stream will be the twilight movies full transparency he's been too afraid to stream on twitch so he could avoid it that's a bold face lie that i've been scared to do it but i do have something right now that if we hit a certain number of subs that i would watch
Starting point is 01:38:38 the Twilight movies. Have you ever seen them? I have, because of something I did during the pandemic to start them, I have seen the first two. Okay. They are. DG. fans are so literal. Sadie Sink has red hair, so must be red-headed character. Hair dye exists.
Starting point is 01:38:54 Yeah, but it is, but there's a difference here. Kirsten Duns is blonde and plays MJ and Bryce Dallas House is Redhead, but played blonde. Gwen Stacy agreed, but it is very rare and they should have kept, and And yes, I know what they did with Bryce Diles Howard, but she's a natural redhead, man.
Starting point is 01:39:13 It's a natural redhead. And like, I think that's one of the things that makes her stand out in the same way Jessica Chastain and everything too. She stands out. So I would like to see her keep her here. I like, I don't want to see her have died here, not to say ever, but for this particular thing, I'm not necessarily thinking you need it. But I don't disagree with you that fans get really literal to hate, but it's not the fans, though, on this one. I think most fans are saying she's probably not going to play MJ because it's in Daya.
Starting point is 01:39:35 So I think that it was Snyder, who was this night, and Snyder definitely not a fan of comic movie. So, yeah, I think it's just him hearing, you know, from a source. Joey Peders, do you think any other big heroes show up in the Lantern series? Maybe at the very end. Yeah, I don't think throughout, I think at the end, they might, they're going to get referenced to. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:00 I think you might, I do think they're going to OA at one point, which is the home world of the Laron Corps. and I do think maybe there's some talks about various metas or heroes on Earth or whatever, but I don't know if we're getting a cameo. It would be like maybe a post credit at the end of the season or something. Winston, 30 to win. You need 30 to win. Ooh, he's so close.
Starting point is 01:40:20 Go pal. Happy, hi day. I got a brand new baby nephew today. Oh, congratulations. Yeah. Gregory Depp. I'm hyped for all Marvel. Red Marvel since 80s.
Starting point is 01:40:34 Fantastic Four is the best of the year. Thunderbolts and Superman close behind. Regular comics over here for me. Now, I'm talking about Marvel. I think Marvel quality-wise, I do think Thunderbolt is going to be the best quality-wise. I just think that I'm, it's, I liked what I saw,
Starting point is 01:40:48 Fantastic Four. I wasn't blown away like everybody else was. I think that for me, I'm like, it looks like the most pure Fantastic Four movie. We've gotten out of anyone that we've seen so far. But I don't know if I'm excited for it yet. We'll see once it comes up. But to me, Thunderbolts is Mike, I like what they're doing, too. This independent movie trailer thing that they did.
Starting point is 01:41:09 Did you see that? No. What are you talking about? So they did a trailer for Thunderbolts, which essentially was like, they cut it like an A24 trailer, but they said like from the, I can't remember what it was. Let's say hypothetically, the production designer of Hereditary from the this of this independent film, from this of this independent film, this person from this independent film. and they're really
Starting point is 01:41:32 it was an interesting trailer that's the other thing that I think Marvel has to get back to man they have got to get which is why I think Deadpool and Wolverine also did so well other than the properties of it are the marketing on that was brilliant Ryan Reynolds is a fantastic marketer and worked really well and it feels like
Starting point is 01:41:50 they're doing the same with Thunderbolts I don't think there's any of the last few Marvel films have I been like wow that was a really creative like they got to get it a goal about that yeah I need to get it in front of people, though, for sure. Ryan has support for Winston's car troubles. I just paid $3,500 from one of our cars. Yuck, after an engine still cracked and leaked oil everywhere.
Starting point is 01:42:10 Oof, I know you're paying you. That's brutal. Oh, my God. Well, thank you so much for the support. We're getting close. I feel it. I feel it in my bones. Joe, for show.
Starting point is 01:42:20 What up, y'all? Just showing some love and busy with the new job. Hope your weekends kicking more ace than Lailu and Stitch is going to do with the box office. It's so funny. Someone yesterday asked if it was going to be huge. And I said it's going to do well. Because they know, they know who their audiences. You know, they're definitely like, like I've said it many times over.
Starting point is 01:42:36 You got to get, you got to have movies in the summer for families. You have to. And that is, that is going to be a big family movie. And, you know, I'm, I still got to go back. I got to remind myself and show my, my little one the trailer tonight. Because I think she's going to love it. Did you see the trailer? I have not seen the trailer for it.
Starting point is 01:42:54 I've gotten to this place, unless I'm covering it, I actually try and avoid trailers at this point because like I you I'm glad that I was late to doing the second sinners one because you told me that it really ruined a lot for you the movie looks great but I know but I've seen the whole movie already I've been grateful that like I walked in that we went to go see Mickey 17 on Monday which I enjoyed it you enjoy it I enjoyed it it's it's not the greatest movie ever there's a lot of issues but they're really made yeah but it's just it it goes it kind of goes all over the place in my opinion it does it does but But I almost saw the sinners thing and I was like, I'm just going to go pee.
Starting point is 01:43:34 Yeah. I just came left to your right. Ryan S. Be sure that Derek Johnson's at your live stream. Tiberius Monk. What's up, Siberius? What a. out to Christian Harle, aka Big Balls, aka Sprite Balls, and Winston Swaggylebird Marshall.
Starting point is 01:43:49 Also, Thunderbolt's marketing is incredible so far. There you go. It's got good marketing in this one. Tiberius, the condiment of champions. Muck! No, it's not his. You can't quote him. You can quote him on anything else.
Starting point is 01:44:03 It's not his. It's not his. That's the OG. You guys stole from Disney. Wow. Come on. That's not his name is Dejean. That's literally his name.
Starting point is 01:44:19 His name is DJ muster, bro. Master. Way before Kendrick yelled out, he was over here talking about muzzan on a B. Oh, like that was, what? Master. I forget to let that go. No.
Starting point is 01:44:34 He didn't say it first. It was the Mad Hatter back in the 50s. I don't want to hear it. I want to hear it. Okay, how talented he goes. All right. Go, pal. Is Matt Hatter like 75% Paul Lind?
Starting point is 01:44:46 No, it's, oh my God, Ed, what the hell? Matt, I can't remember his name, voice. What was the hell was his name? Ed something. Ed Wynn. I always messed that up. Edwin is who was. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:44:59 It also sounds like Kid Candy from Recit Ralph, which I think it was Alan Tudek who took inspiration from Edwin, I believe. DJK's throwing some support. Dancing Dog 60. All right, I'm a pirate. There are too many streaming services. So I invested in a Chinese box and a legally stream a bunch of crap. I had to. Hey, listen, if you're if you're confessing here, nobody's going to do what you got to do. But damn stop. Why people keep stint it on themselves. Oh, man. This puts me in a predicament here. This super stickers don't count for,
Starting point is 01:45:38 you don't? No, we said that after. However, I mean, this is the $20 super sticker. Or no, it's not a super sticker. That's not a super sticker. It looks like a super chat that just. He didn't put anything in there.
Starting point is 01:45:51 Not a super sticker. Not a super sticker. All right. Alex, support for Winston. Thank you, Alex. Thank you. You are now 19 away. Oh, come up.
Starting point is 01:46:05 Where's Aisha King? That's my girl. Girl, where you had? Peter needs some fresh booty, yes? I think so. That's probably doing it also. I mean, you got the funny thing is the two playboys in Marvel are Matt Murdoch and Peter Parker. Like, they just left and right, man.
Starting point is 01:46:22 So Spidey Sensee, 70s. A small donation to the buy J. Washington some eyebrow plugs fund. Do you not have eyebrows? We did it. We did a stream yesterday and he was talking shit. And I noticed that one of his eyebrows was thicker than the other. And I was like, why you got one thin and one fat eyebrow out here looking like Tammuna Pumba? Alex, Winston, I mentioned this to Christian that I would refer her to be Toby's May Day,
Starting point is 01:46:50 maybe a Spider Island film in Battleworld. Oh, interesting. That actually would be pretty cool. If you can fit that into secret, if that's how you fit it into Secret Wars, that would be interesting. That would be interesting. Then you don't get her just in the standalone.
Starting point is 01:47:03 So that would be interesting. Stephanie Litz, Winston, how dare you wish Rogers on my Vikings? I mean, look, if he still got the sauce, nothing would be funnier than all of the crap that went down between him and Brett Far for him to do the exact same thing with his career.
Starting point is 01:47:17 That would be hilarious. Yeah. PLD products. I want to see Roka win a week before Rogers wins. former Green Bay Packer quarterbacks are the worst. Well, Roca was by himself this week without me too, so he was, he was trying.
Starting point is 01:47:35 He was trying. Go pal. If Rogers goes to Minnesota, the next step would be defrauding welfare funds. Seems on brand. Damn. God. Damn. Dancing dogs. 60. Damson Idris for Tachala Jr.
Starting point is 01:47:48 I don't know if they're going to do Tachala Jr. anymore. I think they're doing shit up to Tchali. It was what it looked like in in those leaks. Just a motor dex version. I mean, someone made a very solid point. If you want to stick with it, you have already set up the idea of the quantum verse when they were trying to figure out time travel.
Starting point is 01:48:05 Instead of them traveling through time, they ran time through themselves. Because remember, Ant Man turned into a baby and an old man at one point. You could in theory do that to age a mother. Hey, we need, we need, sherry's out. We need a black panther. Quick, age up to Chala. Like, I don't know how it works one way or the. other but it's not a bad idea Andrew Kruvalka I would love to see shung-chi spider-man team up in
Starting point is 01:48:28 spider-man for us what Winston was saying it's been too long since we've seen him yeah it's been wait they he had like a great game and they just put him on the bench so damn it felt like lynn sanity yeah uh that's a hundred percent dan thing dog 60 Paul Lynn versus Charles Nelson Riley hmm I got to look at I don't I don't understand that at all to be honest but i'll look paul nelson whatever oh is they both guitars guitarist yeah you're asking the wrong people here paul nelson uh grammy war that's what you see they're gonna tell me this right now oh actor comedian paul lind no but he played no paul lint paul nelson is he is uh who played with eric claptin and who was the other one
Starting point is 01:49:18 No, it was Paul Lind and Charles Nelson Riley. What the hell am I looking at? I don't know. I don't know the answer to this question. I'm sorry, dancing dogs. Let's see, black go tea. What's that, man? Hey, Christian, I just watched Deadpool and Wolverine with Sam.
Starting point is 01:49:35 Stay with the timeline. Her reactions are priceless when she knows what's going on. Well, we are staying with the timeline for the most part. The only thing that we're doing is because we're going to go to No Way home after far from home, because No Way Home has nothing to do with Guardians. It has nothing to do with Shung Chi. It has nothing to do with Wanda Vision and these other things. There's nothing to do with any of these things.
Starting point is 01:49:55 It's better for her to watch all because she's ready to psyched to watch it. Then once we get past, No Way Home, we are going to watch the Spider-Verse movies, and then we're going back into the MCU straight up timeline and how it was released. So, yeah. And like I said, far from home will be out. Hopefully, I mean, if Luke somehow magically gets the copyright off of it today, it'll be out today, but if not, hopefully tomorrow or Monday.
Starting point is 01:50:18 Here you guys are going. Corona or Takati, I would go Corona. Corona, definitely Corona. Kind of kind of tastes like the earth. Joey Pedrus. Patinson aging out of Batman would be absolutely heartbreaking. We're getting there.
Starting point is 01:50:33 Who else could you see play bats in the reverse? No one. Oh, no, no. If Pattinson's out, it's over. No one. You don't recast. If you did that, no. Absolutely no one. You recast it, then it's over. You recast you're doing, you might as well just put him as James Gunn's Batman.
Starting point is 01:50:50 Yeah, no one. DJ Case, if Sadie is playing Firestar, are we going to get the full Amazing French trio and get an Iceman appearance in Spider-Man 4? That would be so cool. I grew up on that show, even if it is just as Bobby Drake. That would be so cool. But Iceman is also an X-Men, is he? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:51:09 Yeah, so the- I mean, Firestar is also a mutant. I get that. but just because they, at least Firestar first showed up in Spider-Man and his amazing friends. Ice Man, I think, obviously, was one of the original X-Men. So that was, you know, he was there first. But that would be really cool, no pun intended. Dancing dogs.
Starting point is 01:51:29 Sega Genesis Spider-Man game. F-the-world. Yeah, I remember that one. F-the-world for the win, bro. I know. I say after the world. I always say after the world. I always say after the world.
Starting point is 01:51:40 I never say for the win. I always said it. Have you not heard me say that before? I have never heard you say that before. The two ones they do are F the world and something stinks in Denver. Gregory Depp, support for Winston and congratulations to Roxy. Hell yeah. Love it, love it.
Starting point is 01:51:58 Mr. I crap and shits. Just catching the show. Sorry if you already mentioned it. Thoughts on Denzel Magneto rumor. I can see it. We talked about it at kind of great lengths because of one of the stories crapp and shits. So, but they've got a second comment though. You see what's one of two?
Starting point is 01:52:12 Yeah, I'll get it. Let me get to Kyle's and then I'll finish up crap and shit. Kyle Wilson, if Denzel is cast as Magneto, could they change his backstory to the Rwandan genocide to fit the timeline? Or is that too controversial? I mean, if they do it right, then that's, yeah, 100%. You can use what makes sense to his backstory. So you absolutely could.
Starting point is 01:52:36 That was kind of my earlier point is you can make it relevant to who it is. Let's see. I think I got the Julia Butter's one, right? I think you missed one. Denzel and Julia Butters, I was saying nobody can say anything if you cast Denzel as anything. Oh, yeah. I mean, I, sorry, if I missed that, I'm sorry, I go pal, but yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 01:52:53 You get Denzel, you got Densel. That's it. Whereas I missed the, I don't see the one of two. I only see. There's only one. So I'm going to go back to crap and shits. As far as the rumor goes, yeah, we did talk about it for quite a while, and we both think that if you can get them,
Starting point is 01:53:11 you get them and you can and because of the multiverse stuff too i don't want to hear anybody saying anything about it it's like literally could be a one and done 100% yeah support from jk's uh chips bewick i'm here because of christian's magnificent f bomb say it again for us who the f knows and good luck msson thank you thank you yeah but um yeah that is sometimes sometimes it works for i got i tell myself i got mad at myself on the do because I got to remember that there's there's people who are listening to this show where their kids are in a car I got to be careful dancing dog 60 go
Starting point is 01:53:44 Winston she's hellcat I think hell cat I don't know hell cat oh here here you go this is his number two you can replace being a holocaust or with rohan and genocide or the apartheid and introduce him in black panther 3 well that goes back to what Winston was saying you can put him in black panther 3 as might be an interesting way he never I didn't even think about it until Winston said it but he never said that he was wasn't Magneto. You just said he was cast in Black Panther 3. Yep. Ryan S. Support for Winston to win.
Starting point is 01:54:13 Please. How we do it? Come on, Black Jesus. Let's see in the second. Ryan S. Support for Winston. Let's F and go. Greenie from Oz would be cool to see some more movie reactions with Tina, some classic horror movies as well as new ones, the Shining at Merri-Elm Street. I think we're going to do with Tina, my plan with Tina is this. We're going to finish the Sonic series. We're going to finish Smile 2.
Starting point is 01:54:37 then we're going to do the final destination series because i've i think i saw the first one i've seen one of them i don't know which one i don't remember and so we're going to watch those and that's because i got a new one coming out so there you go um this is a tough one for me dancing dogs conan or beast master i'm going to go conan um or conan rather not conan conan uh but beastmaster is great and conan you get you get you get you get you know at least you get i think you got you got him in red sony also but uh or no he's he doesn't really playing is he playing he doesn't play conan and they he plays just another warrior similar to conan some way i think so anyway there's just so many great lines in conian to
Starting point is 01:55:21 let anyone else beat him he's so good he's so good eliminate the women black goatee we'd love to see sam's reaction to the cw flash and arrow series ever seen them i saw like the first like eight episodes of the flash and i really liked them but certain TV shows are going to be very hard like Sam's only have so much time and I really have Sam Sam's going to be busy for the rest of the year I mean I've got the rest of the MCU I got all the X-Men movies I have a shit ton of movies that she hasn't seen so um it's going to be hard to do TV they're also good but they're also so long they're both like seven or eight seasons so it's infinite content but it would be a long way to go yeah um
Starting point is 01:56:07 I don't know who the hell that guy's talking to. The real film elitist. I don't know he's talking to. Yelling that himself? I guess so. I don't know. I don't know what's happening. All right.
Starting point is 01:56:19 Next one. And this is from crap and shits. Matt De Man. You know that one? Matt Demand. I don't know. Sometimes they get lost. Dancing Dog 60.
Starting point is 01:56:31 I got Yankees front row tickets for 40 bucks once after the fifth inning from a scalper. cheapest you ever paid for good tickets free i got rude dude the carrying cross hooked us up me and matt sarah um for mondayette raw at the garden yeah the best wrestling seat they've ever at the best the best they were actually you know what i just realized my dad got me really good seats when i was a kid at nassau coliseum when the ultimate warrior fought uh and janez a giant so those are pretty good. Oh, nice. Probably the best I either when my dad got a sweet one time, you want to do that for me and my brother and my nephew. And we did like a, like a boys day to go see the Cowboys. And then the other time was about a couple weeks ago. I got to go to Intuit Stadium
Starting point is 01:57:18 and I got to sit in like the wall and in the sweets and the super sweets on court side. Like each quarter we got to check out a new section and get their food and drinks. It was sick. Intoit is crazy. uh joey peddress what's the best worst superhero movie blank man that's that's pretty damn good uh it's got to be bad man and robin bro i wish i knew it's good's good it's good uh pld projects hear me out ed harris is mary jane watson that'd be the scariest thing no all diomani bro paul giamati for paul giamati only has one role and one role only and you know exactly what that is once You're a motherfuckering Batman. That's it. That's it.
Starting point is 01:58:07 All right. Chip Bewick, hard to believe that Reeves Batman sequel is not happening because of gun. Would you really hurt companies cash? Batman 2 could get a billion. Well, Chip, the only problem is the more you wait, the longer you're hurting your box office, especially when, you know, people are, it's like how much excitement is going to be with, it. So especially if you're going to, and especially if Superman hits, you're going to, your, your goal is to add company cash with a new Batman. So, and we don't necessarily know if James Gunn is the one holding it back. I don't know. Um, Big Balls is going to serenade you. He's going to sing you a love song when, when you, if you break through, if you beat Brett today, okay?
Starting point is 01:58:48 Okay. Um, real quick, I think I figured out that one we couldn't figure out. What the, the, the, it was like Matt Damn or something. Yeah, yeah. Is that, because you mentioned Team America, is that Matt Damon. Matt Damon? Oh, maybe. I don't know. Maybe. Mr.
Starting point is 01:59:01 I crap and shits to quote Derek Johnson support. Alex, as much as I love Reeves Batman, I've been waiting for a more fantastic world, a less brooding and more annoyed Batman and the bat family properly done. We've waited for Nightwing for too long. Yeah, dude. I do want to see, you know, that version, but I loved about the Batman. I love that they actually made him a detective. I agree.
Starting point is 01:59:24 I fully agree. I think that that is a, that is a paramount. There's very important facets. The world's greatest detective, the world's greatest fighter, seemingly fighting with gods as just a mere man, and then the bat family. And we have not gotten the bat family. We finally got the detective part of it,
Starting point is 01:59:43 but we've not got the bad family. We've got to make it happen. PLD projects to support the win and bring back Brett Goldstein back to Hercules and replace Thor. Yeah. I mean, I think that that scene was kind of like a fun cameo, but they're not going to do anything with it. Dancing Dog 60.
Starting point is 01:59:59 Peter needs some Sydney, Sweeney booty. Yes. She's going to be in it. Adam Webb, though. You got a right on that. Eric Kirby.
Starting point is 02:00:08 Winston, if you get a chance, play the new game, split fiction on your channel. It's a co-op game, so you've got to find someone to play with. It's a great game.
Starting point is 02:00:17 Let me check it out. Yeah. Mr. I crap and shits. Do you think Mayor Fisk will be in Spider-Man 4? Potentially. Potentially.
Starting point is 02:00:25 I do think that there's going to be, if not him, either Daredevil or Punisher. Somebody from that world will be in it, I think. You guys are breaking my heart here. Dancing Dog 60, Rambo versus Commando. Oh, man. Rambo just has more movies.
Starting point is 02:00:40 John Matrix only did one. He should have had more than one. I don't know why they only did one Commando movie. That's a damn sin. I got to go John Rambo just because he's been, he's got more game tape. You got one, Winston, either one? Rambo.
Starting point is 02:00:56 Have you ever seen Commando? I have not. Oh. And I've only seen one Rambo movie, so. Wow. See, I really need you to move to New York because that's the stuff that I would That's what I was, that's what I will want to do. Like, right now, let's see if we can get my car fix. And then I will just get in New York for like a week and we'll just shoot as much shit as we can get done.
Starting point is 02:01:17 We can do like between five and ten movies. If we can do Commando, that would be amazing. We've still got to do Braveheart. I held off. Well, Command, Braveheart, you'll be here for five years. It's a three-hour movie. It's a three-hour movie, yeah, but it's, but it doesn't feel, you don't feel the three. You're invested all the way through.
Starting point is 02:01:35 Did Winston win yet? I told you that when Winston wins, that Big Balls will sing him a song. He's going to sing him a song when he wins. So whenever that happens, we'll make sure it happens. Oh, baby, you won motherfucker. You won motherfucker. You won mother. And I wouldn't care, but I don't care.
Starting point is 02:01:56 Because you won, you're the one, yes, you want. Hey, Brett, Brett lost. And then won again. And Corey can't be here to celebrate. Yeah, touch my balls. Hey, thank you, baseball. Thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:02:14 Can I tell you why you're in a successful relationship? Why? Listen. And I hear they call them. That's right. And that's why you know what you are and everybody else this week isn't a winner. You goddamn right. That's right.
Starting point is 02:02:29 Now, you go and you do things and you tell Corey, I said, eat it. Cory, Corey out here taking vacations, that's part of the problem. You know what I'm saying? He takes a vacation and you take his purse. I love it. I love it. There you go. Winston wins the week with 107.
Starting point is 02:02:50 Well, we're still going, actually. So I shouldn't say, I shouldn't say you win the week. We still ask this. We still have a question. You could be higher than it. It could be higher. Let's do it. Let's see.
Starting point is 02:02:59 Where's the next one? So yes, the answer, dancing dogs is indeed. Winston has won. We just don't have a final number just yet. Go pal. So I want to support. Thank you, go, pal.
Starting point is 02:03:10 Big balls and telemarketers is pure joy. I mean, I love what the telemarketers call. Big boss says to talk to him. Also, thank you. It looks like somebody sent me a Venmo directly. Oh, nice. Thank you so much for that. I really, really appreciate.
Starting point is 02:03:25 that. That's awesome. Alex, Winston, you know who Carl Bean is? No, that's what the Google is for. Go pal, final destination is a great idea. Yeah, I think we're going to, we're going to, now, because like I said, that reminds you when I get off the air with you guys, I have to, I got to book Tina, because she sent me her availability, and I get the same with Sam. So, there you know. Was a gay singer who turned to preaching? Interesting. Part of the unity. Fellowship Church.
Starting point is 02:03:57 Dancing Dog 60, would you rather fight Freddy or Jason? Probably Freddy because he at least can tell me some jokes. Do you think he would joke with you before he He stature percent? That's what he does. He always tells jokes. Yeah. How sweet. Fresh meat.
Starting point is 02:04:14 I just I guess you can't really get away from either one of them, huh? No. I mean, you can run a thousand miles an hour and your friend, somehow Jason walks and catches you, so. And then Fred, you just never sleep again, but that's not going to work. A heart will give out.
Starting point is 02:04:30 Maybe not. Yeah, so I'm just going, Freddie. I want to hear some jokes. T. Tray Porter, ever consider a Sousia T-Card as a merch to honor Sam? Well, we got a couple of them, right? We thought of, I got, you know, again, thank you for reminding me. My friend Aaron, who makes T-shirts, we want to do a posit shirt and definitely want to do,
Starting point is 02:04:50 maybe do Sousia for sure. Don't be a Sousia. Oh, okay. Yeah, so maybe. So there's there's something we're considering it. Dancing Dog 60, so heart and it can be Batman now. I mean, it could have been Batman already, but yeah, it would be interesting. Or you're saying if he replaces patents.
Starting point is 02:05:10 Alex, as a gay man, even I know Sidney's the obvious choice for black. Is she, but is she? And I don't know the answer is. I don't know how many things I've seen her in. Is she a good enough actress? I'll be honest. with you. I don't think she's getting
Starting point is 02:05:29 better. Yeah. But I'm not I'm not on her with that. I'm not on my head train with Cindy Sweet. I think she's pretty, but I'm like, what a smaller. Yeah, I don't think she's like the next big thing. I think she's like the next big thing. I think she's hot right now, but I don't know.
Starting point is 02:05:45 I look for the sake of everybody. I hope she gets there, but I'm not. Jesse Marquette, support for Winston. Thank you. DJ Case, I'm confused. Why do you think Denzel showing up as Magneto in Black Panther 3 is a possibility, but an X-Men character couldn't show up in, very different.
Starting point is 02:06:01 But an X-Men character couldn't show up in a Spider-Man couldn't happen just because of Sony. Yes, exactly because of Sony. That's literally why, yeah. That is the reason, because if Magneto shows up in Black Panther 3, Laura Schumer, Schumer Donner, Schuller Donner getting a producing credit in a Marvel MCU movie, they're probably, they're okay with. But Sony wanting, didn't, we'll have to share it with a another producer, they don't want to do that.
Starting point is 02:06:27 So it's because they're already dealing with two different studios. So yeah, that's why. Because if you, they're already part of the MCU. That's, that is way, way more that they're going to be able to pop because X-Men are going to pop into MCU movies.
Starting point is 02:06:41 That's part of it. Popping into a Sony released movie inside of the MCU is a different thing. Dancing Dogs, give Winston a John Matrix quote. Sully, remember when I told you I'd kill you last? That's right, Matrix? You did. I lied. Don't disturb my friend.
Starting point is 02:06:59 He's dead tired. Alex, I eat green berries for breakfast. Only mentioned Carl Bean because he was known as Black Jesus. Thought of it when you said it earlier. It's who inspired Gaga to write Born This Way and Black Jesus. Oh, look at that. Spitting facts here, Alex. I am also an Alex.
Starting point is 02:07:18 That's what the A and Winston-A Marshall stands for. So shout out. Thank you for that info. Mr. I, crap and shits. can i can see sidney swini as black cat her in a tight leather outfit if you're talking about the outfit sure if you're talking about the acting i don't know yeah yeah i don't know it's weird i'm not on the city i'm like like i said everyone like loses her mind off her i don't i don't pause the instagram real when she goes i just yeah that's cool all right past it i'm not i don't
Starting point is 02:07:49 it's also because she's not my type she's also just a generic big booby blonde hot. She said that they're like versus I understand why Julia Roberts. Julia Roberts has like kind of an exotic look to her and it's very unique. You know what I'm saying? Like Sweeney doesn't look unique. She just looks like a standard hot blonde girl. Give me Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford all day long.
Starting point is 02:08:13 Andrew Carnes, I'll hurt DCU. It'll hurt DCU to have their Batman outshine by Robert Pattinson. Probably one of the things that they're thinking, Andrew for sure. Dancing Dog 60 We all want Sydney Sweeney I am happy for you And again, I think she's hot, but whatever Go pal, I've only seen Black Cat
Starting point is 02:08:34 One Chloe Dykstra cosplay But I'm 100% down Can't see anything about Sydney horror Sydney's horror movies I never saw Yeah, me either I saw one she was in with Justice Smith It was like a thriller I saw her in, the only thing
Starting point is 02:08:54 know and it's not fair because she wasn't terrible and I just didn't believe her as the geeky nerd in the Madam Webb and I saw a little bit of that thing that she was in Glenn Powell. Alex, my personal pick for Black Cat is Anya Teller Joy. I'd be down for that. She was a believable, she's a believable badass.
Starting point is 02:09:10 Unbelievable badass. She was great in Furiosa and she was good in that movie with Miles Teller. I mean, I loved her as magic. It's just New Mutants was trash. Yeah. I didn't even know she was in that. Yeah, she played magic. Magic is a great character for her.
Starting point is 02:09:28 I don't know. Let's see. So I'm trying to also think of what we can do. Where is it? I'm so confused. Where is everything? Oh, there's the next one. Is that the next one?
Starting point is 02:09:45 Okay. Your favorite, Kira Kurosawa film. I mean, to me, I think that, again, seven samurai is the one that, whether it's Star Wars or everything. I love Seven Summer. Probably Seven Summer or Roshaman. I really like her out of Roshamon. Dancing Dog 60. Melissa Barrera for Zatana. Oh, interesting. Okay. Okay. I see I pick up what you're putting down.
Starting point is 02:10:11 Last one for now. Last one for now. As we're going to sign off here in a minute. Sebastian Stan is Luke Skywalker and Star Wars reboot. That's been said that's been a thing that's been going. I mean, I remember it was hosting Jedi Council. People were talking about that. I think the ship has sailed. And I think, again, as long as as Catherine Kennedy, she had some mandate that no more Luke Skywalker or something, too. So not going to happen.
Starting point is 02:10:32 But I would love to see it. There you go. Winston, 119, my friend, you win the week at 119. Throwing Brett Sheridan off his perch. And you have- sniper, no sniping. Yep, you have taken the week. So real quick, tell them where to
Starting point is 02:10:48 find you again. Where can they go? Can you find me at the swaggy blur on all platforms, again I will be other than the blurt breakdown and the reactions and stuff I will be doing some marathon streams to help pay off this this debt but thank you so much to everybody that wrote in today you this was a huge step and helping what is going to be very expensive car bill so thank you very much thank you oh actually got him to 120 look at john carpenter discovered Sweeney is that true what was she him uh let me give me 30 seconds you can start your thing and I'll just say well figure it out well I want to as Winston looks out thank you
Starting point is 02:11:22 guys for joining us here today. Please go to the Christian Harleff Clips channel. Not only do I have clips from the celebrity interviews, starting in April, we're going to clip out this show and all of the, and a lot of the major segments that we talk about on the Christian Arloff show will be on that channel daily. So if you subscribe there and you're like, oh, I didn't get a chance to watch the full show. I can only catch up in segments. That's how you do it. So please go on over to the Christian Arloff Clips channel and subscribe over there. We're on Apple Podcast. We're on Spotify. I am telling you, I cannot emphasize enough. You were like, hey, I really like this show. It's part of my day.
Starting point is 02:11:55 How can I support the show? Get something for yourself. Get one of our sponsors today. And then they go, hey, people, we're looking at our stuff. They got our stuff. We want to come back for more. And then we're able to keep everybody on the air. So thanks for being here.
Starting point is 02:12:08 I appreciate it. Winston, did you find any information out? Not really. The ward, I guess. Someone said Halloween ends, I guess. I don't know. I guess that's the thing. And I don't want to insult the woman because she's crushing it right now.
Starting point is 02:12:21 she's to me, to me. She's in the ward. She's forgettable to me. I don't know why. I know to everybody else that's crazy. She's forgettable to me. As far as in, when I see her in, you know, I see her out there, I'm like, oh, it's Sydney Swinney.
Starting point is 02:12:33 But as far as in movies, okay. She's like, again, gorgeous. I just don't think her acting is catching up with where her hype is yet. And I think, and like I said, I'm always rooting for people to do well. So I hope the more she is in the spotlight, it will improve. But until we get there, I just, it hasn't hit that stride for me yet where I think of like, because her co-star in Euphoria is Zendaya. Zendaya is crushing, not just off a look, but as an actress, she is so good.
Starting point is 02:13:04 I hope Sidney gets there. And maybe she will. No, it has nothing. So Spidey Sense, he said, because Harleff's married, he has to say this on his show. No, it's not true. I've talked about how freaking, you know, like, how many times have I talked, I've talked about whether it was Julia Roberts to do it with, with, with, with, with, Roka and all this stuff too. It's just not my type. But there you go. All right. Let's get the hell out of
Starting point is 02:13:29 here. Winston, thanks for being here. Congratulations. Winston for the win, Jesse Marquez writes with 121. So thank you everybody. I appreciate you.
