Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up, everybody? It's spoiler heavy review episode four of Sheihulk. Man, I've already seen a lot of people already talking about, they're not agreeing with me on this episode. This is my least favorite out of the four. Now, there are a lot of things, the stuff that I did like. I thought it was consistent with the overall tone of the show when they did the dating stuff. And I thought it was, it'll remind me like Teen Wolf. Everybody likes Teen Wolf, but nobody likes Scott.
Starting point is 00:00:29 and it's kind of the same thing here too for Jennifer. She finally finds somebody that she likes, and the guy just wants to bang She-Hulk. So that was it, but I think that her dealing with that and going through the dating world, understanding it, like I thought that all played really well.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Even though I thought that this stuff was entertaining, Billy Walsh from Entourage comes back, and I think his wife's one of the writers or short runners of the show, and it's awesome to see him back. He's great. But he plays this magician that is kind of cheating the system. He's not a real magician. Like, he's not a, he's not a, he's not a sorcerer.
Starting point is 00:01:09 But he needs, he wants to keep his business going. So what does he do? He steals one of the things. And he's jetting people back and forth into different dimensions, and they got to get Wong involved. Which, in theory, when you say that, it sounds fun, and it is, but, like, I thought the actress is playing, the drunk actress, she did it great, and I believe that she was drunk.
Starting point is 00:01:34 I just, this is where I start to go, okay, this is the goofy thing that I was probably not on board with from the beginning, right? Like, you know, when you start, like, when you look at, I just watched Iron Man recently, and even Iron Man 2 when they're in the hearing setting, and Tony Stark is talking to Gary Shanling and they're having these conversations, and he's throwing jokes and Justin Hammers in there, and they're throwing jokes throughout. it and it's there's definitely a comedic tone in the air for for times but it still feels like legit like it's an actual court case this this felt like a show a comedy show and it's like the
Starting point is 00:02:09 drunk girls just appearing out of nowhere and they're just letting people in and it's just like this circus now and it's like okay that's that's that's more on the tycho a tini Thor love and thunder that some people are definitely on board with and i it starts to lose me a little bit the stuff with the dating and all the other stuff i was i was on board for and i thought was fun nice i think kept consistent but it started and then you know she hulks running around fighting the demons with wong and all that and then even though the sopranos thing that got spoiled by the way if you haven't seen the sopranos and you watch this episode you definitely got a big spoiler for the sopranos that happened inside of that but um again it's a this it's a it's a there's the episodes
Starting point is 00:02:48 are short enough that it's like i want to know i i thought the first two were much better for me because I was like, okay, this is a blend of the two. There's definitely a lot of goofiness happening in the first two, but it was a blend. I felt like it was still connected to the MCU. This one felt really sitcomy, more sitcomy than superhero, you know, almost parody-ish.
Starting point is 00:03:17 And again, I know a lot of people not going to agree with me, just how I'm feeling at the moment. I had a chance to watch it early, but then I had a chance to watch it again, And when I watched it again, I was like, yeah, I don't think, I don't think that if the show goes like this throughout the entire time without something to get me a little bit more attached, that I'm going to be as invested I was in the first two. Because I still think that the character, I think that Tatiana Mislani is doing a great job. I thought the writing was better in one and two than I did three and four. Again, that's me.
Starting point is 00:03:51 but I'm very curious to see where it goes overall because I don't know. Again, I don't even know how long this spoiler review is going to be, to be completely honest with you, because it's a shorter episode and the thing is the dimensions going into fighting the demons and her tossing things around and then, you know, again, the writing of it and the comedy of it inside of the courtroom scene played like a good comedy. I was just like, okay, yeah, I'm just so detached. Nothing felt real at all. And I like when it feels real.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Like I mentioned that Iron Man thing. Yeah, there were jokes going on, but it felt real. It felt like these are real characters inside. None of this feels real to me. It's the same way, like, for a spoiler, for Thor Love and Thunder, there's a thing that happens with Zeus. And it's not really a spoiler. It just, and, well, of course, it's not real gods and stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:37 I know. But I'm saying when they set it up inside of, you believe that Thor is a real character. I watched, I watched Thor one two, three days ago with my daughter. And it just, you believe that it's a real character. character. And by the time you get to four, you just don't believe anything's really, feel like it's a Saturday Live thing. And this is, and this, this verged on that for me. But can't wait for everybody to disagree with me. Go ahead and have a blast.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Again, I think the show can do a lot of great things. I think it has been, I think Tatiana Mizlani has been great in this show so far. Looking forward to seeing what they do moving forward. But that's what I got. Brand new to the channel, subscribe to it. Short spoiler review today. We'll see what happens next week. It's Devil are going to show up in this MF. out. Thanks everybody. I appreciate you. It's the spoiler review of Shee Hulk. Pice.
