Starting point is 00:01:05 Who the hell knows? There's a lot of rumors going on about who's going to pop up in Spider-Man 4. We will discuss that. There's some things about crypto and not the currency, the dog. And we're going to talk about what's going on with him. And there's some reveal about what's going to happen. Some more DCU stuff. I don't know why I'm saying like Jeff Gobloom, the reveal, yes.
Starting point is 00:01:26 And then we're going to be doing a lot more. here there's a lot of rumors. I just mentioned the Hulk. There's a rumor that the great George Miller is going to be doing either Hulk or the or Thor 5. There's other stuff.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Craven's going to be on digital, I guess tomorrow, or if not tomorrow, soon, sooner than I thought. There's so much. There's so much. There's a lot of rumors going on. We haven't really discussed the Black Panther stuff with whether he's going to be recast,
Starting point is 00:01:58 whether or not it's going to be his son. So we'll get the thoughts on that and more. So Apple Podcasts, Podcasts, Anywhere Podcasts or Found Podcasts, make sure you go and you check it out. We've been getting a lot of new people coming in through Spotify, so I thank you for that. All right, it's myself, it's Winston A. Marshall, Capes and Cowles, Christian Harlough Show.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Here we go, ladies and gentlemen. You ready? Me too. Great. Here we go. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. gentlemen to the Christian Harlov show. It is myself
Starting point is 00:02:58 Winston A. Marshall Koi Gondro kicked out of his place. And now I'll free back. First of all, gentlemen, what's that? That is innovative new mattresses. Apparently one of the YouTube ads for our video. Great. However we can
Starting point is 00:03:16 make that stop. That would be great. So thank you for being here, guys. First of all, before we get into it, how are you guys feeling? I like Coygo first, man. I know you're still at a hotel. Tired. I think the mental of just the disorientation of the event of figuring out what is the essentials that you own is pretty staggering.
Starting point is 00:03:37 And then just the exhaustion of that tension that doesn't go away. Like, it's still like, LA's still on fire. My area is safe. I can go back today. But just the awareness of it is so ominous. Like I haven't felt like this since the pandemic where I'm just like full of dread. and exhaustion. So my place physically safe, but all that dread and exhaustion with a little dash of like, what do I have to keep? Such a weird feeling to know like the most essential
Starting point is 00:04:03 things. It's crazy. It's been a week, man. I can't, I can't even describe to you what that feeling was especially as quickly as it came. Like there was some stuff that was already put to the side, like some of the hard drives I put to the side, like my passport was put to the side. And then the call came of sunset fire this is serious get out of there and the idea of like okay um do i grab photos do i do i grab like my old yearbook like what do i what the fuck do i take out of there and then you leave and you're like i didn't even get half the shit and and i'm going to regret like not grabbing the photo my my grandfather like you just your brain doesn't comprehend how to deal with that you have 10 minutes to get out.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Right. Yeah, it's it is. It's, it's really tough to watch, especially we feel kind of helpless, you know, being all the way across the country and worried about friends and family and all that. So I'm glad that everybody's safe, but yeah, it's, it's very stressful. So there's really no easy transition out of it except, um, Koy, I got really good news if you want to hear that. Oh, this week, yes.
Starting point is 00:05:13 All right. You're going to be, okay, because the, the thing that, that we've always, what we've been talking about, um, as I have you here is not too long ago, you remember this poor bastard. Oh, you remember the poor guy. And we're not going to really be able to fix them until, uh, we get the road new roadcaster working, which Kyle Farrell was able to do. I know you, you guys get, we're starting to really get along. Well, if that's the case, ho, ha, ha, how you feeling, baby? Oh, other hand, other hand.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Other one, meth, yes, turn, turn. There you go. No, other way. Other side. You could be massage them if you could. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes, you're holding me there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:53 That way nice. And I'll move right here. Oh. Very nice. Be back. The warm. My hand is alarming. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:00 I like when you touch it. Yes. I feel very close to you. Yes. Violated and welcome at the same time. Because this is capes and cows, I've been craving that. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:12 You're like, yeah, that's what I'm saying. Oh, man, I love it. I love being back. And I know so many. of you has been saying, oh, I hope that motherfucker stays dead. Well, guess what? I have a nice thing to say to you. I was going to be nice. I'm not going to be mean. And I'll simply say, suck my balls. That's all I say. And I'm here. I'm ready. I'm back. And thank you to Kyle Farrell for bringing me to life once again. I am back, baby. And I'm going to sing a song for you Winston. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:06:42 Okay. Come on, your boughs. Okay. Let's go. I'm ready. Comic books. They got me in their eyes. I make the ladies laugh. I make them cries.
Starting point is 00:06:59 They're looking at me, and I say, I'm the man. I look at you and I say, hey, what's the plan, man? Let's go scouting for bitches. Yeah, come on. I like to eat my steaks. I like to eat my eggs. I like my ladies big with really nice legs
Starting point is 00:07:19 I fucked the right nice less. I said nice, big balls, big guys save lives. Thank you, Big balls. It's out. All right. Well, he's back. Thank you again. So you can either, for anybody who is upset with that, you can thank Kyle Farrell.
Starting point is 00:07:37 But you can also thank Kyle Fowler because I think you can also see that the sound is back to normal. We got the sound work. today also. So it's unfortunate. I had somebody people are fickled, man. I got some guy going, oh, I'm sorry. I've been around
Starting point is 00:07:53 for a long time, but you haven't been able to fix the sound, so I'm unsubscribe. And I'm like, see you later. I'm like, peace out. And then the day that he writes that, we figured out the sound. So. That's fine. And I guess you're just going to miss out on big balls and other things in life. That's his damn fault.
Starting point is 00:08:09 That's right. They're going to miss out in this first story, guys. And we got a story in general. You guys have heard this. We're going discuss it. Here is said story. Spidey. Teaming with the Punisher to take on the Hulk, the latest Spider-Man 4-Rummer is a doozy. Doosy, dozy, dozy. All right, the dozy is here, and here is the dozy, much said. Okay. The Spider-Man 4 rumors continue, and this latest is sure to get quite a bit of attention. Could we see the webhead join forces with the Punisher to face off against the Hulk over the past few weeks, the Spider-Man 4-4?
Starting point is 00:08:45 where rumors have really picked up steam with everyone from Venom, Ghost Rider, and Black Cat, to Daredevil, Fisto, and Null mentioned as a possible ally and foe for Tom Holland's webslinger in his next solo outing. With so many conflicting reports, it's obviously difficult to put much stock in any of them, but the reason we're hearing all of these rumors is likely down to Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures tossing multiple ideas around as they attempt to lock down a story everywhere that everyone has happy with. So of course we aren't, oh, excuse me, of course we can't discount the possibility that Marvel is leaking false details to throw the scruper's off track. At any rate, the script is believed to be undergoing a major overhaul possibly due to differences of opinion between Tom Holland and
Starting point is 00:09:31 Kevin Feigey. Last week, we heard the movie was still a long way away from starting production because there isn't a finalizing shooting draft. The latest rumor comes via tonight's episode of the hot mic, and if there's any truth to it, a lot of Marvel comics fans will surely be hoping that this is the direction that the movie is going in. has heard that the plan was he stressed that he isn't certain to have spider-man team up with the punisher to take on the Hulk in a street-level adventure. Go-host Jeff Snyder backed up the rumor by saying that Green Goliath's involvement passes his smell test, but he's not so sure about Frank Castle.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Spidey has joined forces with Castle and faced off with the Hulk on a number of occasions in the comics, and if the studio is indeed laying plans for an eventual World War Hulk movie, it is entirely possible that Banner could begin his rampage by smashing up New York. Berthall and Holland have worked together in the past and seem to be good friends and could see a very entertaining dynamic between Parker and Castle as they form a reluctant alliance. Spider-Man 4 has a release date of July 24, 2026, with reportedly filming scheduled to get underway around August of this year. Okay. So I will say this too. I've been planning, I don't know how to how to, it's not going to be on this show because this escapes and cows, but about four or five, days ago, I was, I heard a little birdie was flying around, maybe it was big balls and told me about, you know, the casting of the hound who was going to be, is now taking the place of the late great, great Stevens from, Stevens from Asoka.
Starting point is 00:10:58 And then Snyder, I haven't talked to Snyder about it all. He dropped it yesterday. So same thing I was hearing. I've got, I've got two pretty big Star Wars ones that I can't really, not, not worth dropping here now. Maybe someone else drops him soon. but Snyder's been hearing some pretty valid things is all is where I'm going with this in general and kind of linking in around the same the same network right so that being said coy how how realistic do you think that this potential story is i could see it as like a segment in the movie i could see it as maybe like the opening to show the story i would tell if i was doing a street level spider-man four following the end of no way home would be he's not peter parker so he's spending all of his time as Spider-Man, and that is wearing on him, like the amount of time he's Spider-Man in a mask, not Peter Parker the person. So I would maybe have that, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:53 jump in by having something as crazy as like a Punisher Hulk thing. And then you get into like, you know, a crime saga. But I don't think there's enough there to be a feature, like a two-hour story. Because inherently the nature of Frank Castle wouldn't jive with Spider-Man. And like the Hulk, as he is now, would have to go through a lot to get to that. greed not professor Hulk and stuff so I can see this is kind of like that opening or closing of a film where there's like this giant spectacle but I don't see it as like a major plot throughout the film personally I do like that it sounds like they're they're going more street level if this is the case but um I think it'd be more of a piece than the whole what do you think winson
Starting point is 00:12:31 okay bear with me here I've got I've got kind of a crazy theory but here's what I think if they're going to try and do something like this I think you have a situation where maybe it's exactly that. Peter has been Spider-Man this entire time, and so one of the few people that he's maybe bonded with has been Professor Hulk or something like that. You end up in a situation, maybe as after
Starting point is 00:12:54 effect of Red Hulk and Brave New World, you have a situation where Punisher, maybe somebody got hurt because of one of the Hulk, so now he's taking the role of what Ross was doing previously, and he's hunting the Hulk, and he ends up pushing Hulk beyond
Starting point is 00:13:11 his rational thought. and he starts raging out. But we've, so ultimately, Punisher almost becomes the antagonist and the villain that Spidey has to stop because he's going too far and he's going to potentially get the Hulk killed. Like I could see something like that. The only thing I don't love about that is I would rather sit with Spidey's actual Rogues Gallery. I'd rather focus on what's going on with him.
Starting point is 00:13:36 And again, I'm not saying you don't bring MSTU characters in, but to really just let Spider-Man be Spider-Man. man for a bit that's that's that's this that's that's all we want that's what we've been asking for and i think bringing in the punisher bringing the hulk is going to undo a lot of that desire but you know we'll see what happens i don't know i mean i think that there's something i mean listen i'm like i told you winston as before we went on and coy i know that you know i'm doing the rewatch of the mccu right now i'm doing rewatch and sam's doing it for the first time um and just watching the structure of how these work and the characters that i really actually care about and haven't had that feeling in quite a while with the MCU.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I wonder if that can start to turn a little bit with something like this, because I do miss Rage Hulk. I mean, I really do. I'd like to see that come back and I want to see overall. And I've been saying the same thing you guys have been saying. I want to see that street level Spider-Man feel. But the team up with the Punisher, I mean, The Punisher is one of my favorite comics as a kid, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:33 and John Bernthal is so good in general in the note that his relationship. I think this could be something special if they do it, the right way. I don't know. I mean, there's a follow-up to that comic book movie article, which they write, and it's Spider-Man 4 every character that's rumored to be in the movie and what's really going on with the movie. And then they say, as rumors continue to swirl about Marvel Studios, Spider-Man 4 plans, they're going to recap some of the characters meant to appear in the movie and share our thoughts on what's really going on with the project. In recent months, the Spider-Man 4 rumors have gone from being fun and exciting to verging on exhausting. Villain
Starting point is 00:15:09 after villain has been rumored to appear in the movie. And as things stand, we're getting closer, no closer to knowing who Peter Parker will battle. What's become apparent is that there won't be room in this project for all of them. Spider-Man 4 is already in somewhat awkward position coming out between Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars, as Tom Holland will start in all three movies, meaning he is, his next solo outing will be affected by them. In his feature, in his feature, they recap, like this, Daredevil, some of the characters that are rumored daredevil ant man and the kingpin um so we'll just go those are those are
Starting point is 00:15:44 three that were mentioned and to be in there venom and null as we said um ghost rider and mephisto you got the punisher hulk and some familiar villains um spider man x3 what's that what's that what's that mean three spider man i'm assuming a three times spider man i hate that's oh the well that's tom holland and Toby, okay. And so what's the deal with Spider-Man 4 is kind of the wrap up there? Okay. So this is the million-dollar question. As the rumors continue to swirl, it's beginning to feel like where you're being deliberately misled. We've heard of Marvel Studios leaking false information to throw fans off the scent in the past, and that's surely what is happening here. It's impossible to take the information above and make a coherent movie out of it, meaning we're no closer to knowing what really
Starting point is 00:16:29 is planned for Spider-Man 4. Then there's inevitability of some social media scoopers taking advantage of the uncertainty surrounding this movie to come with any claim that they can, which is also possible. I think that's very accurate. I think that it is, there's something that Marvel definitely does and should do, by the way. I think there's a lot of different times that I think other places should do this too. But out of all those reports, if any of them are true, I have to tell you, it's the one we just talked about for me is the one I like the best. I like the idea of having Hulk and Punisher and Spider-Man together, and that's kind of it. And they're trying to figure out how to contain Hulk or whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I like that better because I think they can make it kind of old school, but I don't know, Winston, what do you think out of all those? Which one stands out the most? I think we've been missing a Spider-Man Kingpin, like, yeah, slash. I think that that you want to talk street level. We've already teased the fact that he's running for mayor at New York at the end of Echo. So I think that that, like obviously Daredevil will be in the mix one way or the other. I can totally see a situation where now Spider-Man is kind of plugged into the middle of it and having to deal with that.
Starting point is 00:17:39 I think that there is a very interesting dynamic of the Kingpin not just dealing with Daredevil. I actually find Kingpin and Spider-Man clashes more interesting. Obviously what they've done in the show with Daredevil and Kingpin has been fantastic, but there's just something very particular about Kingpin and Spider-Man going against each other. I don't know if I'm biased because of the 90s animated show. But I just think it would be really interesting. You want to talk street level, the ultimate mob boss turned super powerful politician.
Starting point is 00:18:10 I feel like that would be super fun. What do you think, Coy? Yeah, I'm team street level, even to that level. Like, that is Spider-Man to me, is as big as his villains get. I want a Spider-Man villain. So Punisher would actually fit great in a Spider-Man-V-V-Kingpin story because it would be Spider-Man having to navigate some guy
Starting point is 00:18:30 that wants to end this thing that he also wants to end, but Punisher doing it permanently and Spider-Man trying to be on the side of justice. So I would prefer a Spider-Man Kingpin Punisher story over a Hulk in Spider-Man, just because I know they have to have, like, slagher character in these movies, it seems like Dr. Strange, Iron Man,
Starting point is 00:18:48 like all those things. I'm guessing, you know, that is something that's continuing on. So maybe Hulk is that, you know, factor. But again, I would just have them as like an opening villain. I would not want a long-term story if we could go more street level in crime, and I think Kingpin suits that more. And it looks like with Netflix,
Starting point is 00:19:04 they're doing a lot more of how do we these Netflix characters that everyone loves into these movies. So the Kingpin Punisher story would fit that more because Daredevil is going to be everywhere soon. So I love that idea. I mean, the other part about that would genuinely be interesting is if maybe it's a situation of, again,
Starting point is 00:19:21 you know, Punisher trying to get revenge on Kingpin again. And so then it's a level of he's trying to take down the kingpin who obviously is a corrupt politician type situation. The only thing about that that makes me a little nervous is after everything that's gone on, they may, like in the real world, so the whole Luigi, you know, Mangione situation of it all and, you know, the assassination attempts of it all, they may try and stay very clear of it just because they're like, let's not go into all of that.
Starting point is 00:19:55 You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I'm saying. Yeah, I'm sure. we're going to stay away from that. Yeah. Okay, so there's so much more to come with this story in the same way there's more to come that we'll talk about it with the Batman. There's more to come with so many developing stories right now in general, and that's definitely one of them, Spider-Man 4. I just mentioned DC and they just made a kind of an announcement before we went on the air here, and that is Superman that we now know when the next sneak preview for the DCU movie will
Starting point is 00:20:26 be released. There's some information that is coming out now. Exciting news as we have some official word on one of the next Superman sneak peek will be. That is. So a place report, there's not too long to wait. It hasn't been, it hasn't even been a month since the first teaser for Superman was released, but we already have news on the next sneak peek.
Starting point is 00:20:47 Hollywood reporter has revealed that Warner Brothers Discovery is bringing back the puppy bowl for the 21st time this year. The event will have DC Studio C, co-CEO and Superman director James Gunn on hand alongside his dog, Ozo, the inspiration for crypto in the DCU movie. According to the trade, Gunn will introduce a sneak preview of Superman and deliver a special message to viewer. In addition, one pup participating in the game will be awarded the Crypto Superplay Award. The puppy bowl was introduced as a means of counter-programming the Super Bowl, 2024's effort. stop that sound whoever's doing that received a reported 12.6 million viewers and it has become extremely popular along dog lovers uh takes place on february 9th this is not a huge story here but it's just cool that's fun yeah that's that's great man i look the public bowl is one of my favorite parts of the damn super bowl if i'm gonna be honest with you like the rough part is i'm glad they realized that they're getting such big names during the halftime show.
Starting point is 00:21:54 They're like, let's maybe, it'll still play during halftime, but we'll run it the whole day. But I think that'll be really fun, man. I can't think of a better kind of connection to kind of have there. What do you think, Corey? I think it's really wholesome, and I love wholesome tying into Superman. I love the idea of something like inherently cute and adorable. I think leaning into that, like, positive warmth is going to make Superman feel like it's a year-long event versus a, you know, trailer, wait a bit, trailer, wait a bit movie.
Starting point is 00:22:20 I think just like making this year or the year of Superman and having stuff like this is exciting. I'm all in. Yeah. I mean, like I said, there's not too much to talk about except, hey, yeah, we're going to get a, I think it's going to be a little bit more and probably rightfully so. Cryptocentric, this particular look that we're getting because you want to relate to what your audience you're playing to, you know. So yeah, I think that that to me is a good way to do it.
Starting point is 00:22:47 It's a fun way to do it. It's cool. according to it's wholesome. So I ask you guys, what do you think? Do you think this is the way to go? Put your thoughts in there. Tell us, please. We have so many stories today.

Starting point is 00:27:43 it's been all over the place like so many different things with batman and i think that one of the thing that i'm going to do with batman is i'm going to say the latest story that is out there and then with that we can just kind of you know pile on all the different things that we've heard throughout the week and where we think this thing is going because this is again another ongoing story but this is the one this is the story that i love this is my favorite story so far out of all the Batman stories, and I hope it's true. Brendan Sclenar expressed his interest in playing the DCU's Dark Night in the Brave and the Bolt.
Starting point is 00:28:16 This is a casting that I didn't realize how much I wanted it until more people started talking about it, and now he's talking about it. Love 1923, and I think he's just, I said it when I start watching it, this guy's a star, and I hope that he gets this. This is a career-changing role for him. Following his, it ends with us co-star Blake Lively's endorsement. Brandon Sclenar as Stone has hat in the ring to play the DCU's Dark Night in the Brave and the Bull. Though we weren't aware of this until very recently, there's been online support for him to play
Starting point is 00:28:44 the Dark Night and the upcoming DCU Brave and the Bull movie and the fan campaign has recently given a major boost thanks to the actors. It as with this co-star Blake, I don't know if that's really, and with all the controversy surrounding her right now, I don't know if you want her endorsing you right now. I mean, again, we don't we don't know what it's going to, how it's going to turn out. I just think there's a lot of controversy around it. But anyway, Schenar has liked and commented on some fan art depicting him as the Cape Crusader. Despite speculation, the Batman star Robert Pattinson could end up jumping to the DCU to play the legendary Gotham City vigilante and the Brave and the Bold. Director Andy Mushietti confirmed that a new actor will be cast as the hero during a recent interview.
Starting point is 00:29:21 As everyone knows, the Batman featured in the Raven the Bowl will belong to the new DC universe. It's quite obvious that Matt Reeves Batman is not part of this new universe. However, DC and Warner Brothers are moving forward with the second part of the Reeves Batman series, which is widely reported as is expected to release around 2027. This means the next Batman movie will take some time before it sees the light of day. Releasing two Batman films simultaneously would be counterproductive. The Flash director continued. What DC is doing is creating a strategy to ensure that these two films don't conflict with each other regarding my involvement in the project.
Starting point is 00:29:51 There are good intentions for now. They want to do the movie with me and I want to do it as well. I'm eager to work on the film. We're just talking about the story and the tone. There are a chance that anything will come out of Skunar's campaign. Actors putting themselves forward to play specific characters has people. paid off in the past. A lot of people believe that Aaron Pierre landed the role of John Stewart in lanterns due to how frequently he was fan cast as the hero. There have been rumors that DC is looking to cast a middle age actor as Bruce Wayne, however. So at 34, he might be a little young. Even if the, even if this does get some attention from the studio, probably still way too early for anyone to be in serious contention to play the next big screen Batman. All right, we can, 1923, they mentioned here too. It's fine. He, and he said he'd want to do it.
Starting point is 00:30:35 No shit. So I love the casting, the choice, I love the idea, and I kind of want to spawn into all these different stories that have been happening. And they kind of mentioned it inside this article, what Andy Muscietti says, this was my take on Muscietti. I don't really think that Mushyedi is being led into any of the conversations that are being had, because I don't understand two things. One, he said not too long ago that it was delayed and was going to get pushed back a little bit.
Starting point is 00:31:03 And then James Gunn came out and said, No, it hasn't been delayed. There's no, we're on, we're on the same pace that we were. And then Muscietti goes and says it again. I think that Mushietti is saying things to keep himself on the job. I said this yesterday. I don't think Musciedi is going to be, I think Gunn wants to keep him on. I think Gunn's a loyal dude and he wants to keep him on.
Starting point is 00:31:22 I don't think Muscietti is going to wind up doing this unless the dairy series is huge. And right now we're in a, we're in a town of what have you done for me lately? And I think that right now, people are going, you didn't do anything too great for me lately. But, and also, as far as Brendan Scunar goes, by the time this movie gets made, it'll probably be 40. So you probably could do it. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:48 I mean, Coy, you hear about all these different things that have been happening. And then the other side of it is Josh Harwoods interviewed Matt Reeves. And all the reports, Coy, were that Matt Reeves is open to the DCU conversation. And I said, where in the world do you? read that from that interview in i i didn't certainly i i've said from the beginning they should stay separate i stand by that i don't think matt reeves wants it i think he's no i agree with you i think he was very smart in his wording of saying like you know we'll see what makes sense but i mean i don't think in his epic crime saga that he has mapped out he has that on the cards and if you
Starting point is 00:32:27 want to make a trilogy why add all the variables that all these other marvel directors have to add why add all of the shenanigans of moving things around. We're talking about Spider-Man having its like 18th script rumor because of what characters it needs to involve. I don't want that for Matt Reeves universe if we can avoid it. I'm so excited for a Batman, the DCU, but why not have another one? That way you don't have to deal with the continuity of the Matt Reeves stuff. So personally, that interview did not read as now what's happening.
Starting point is 00:32:53 It read as I'm going to be diplomatic and we're going to figure it out that way. I'm not lying in any direction. I could not agree with you more. I said the same thing. I was like, the way that I play was the way that I think that if he really, if you really, he wanted to be honest, like completely honest, he was as honest as he could be. But if he was, if the cameras were off, he'd be like, yeah, they brought it up a couple times.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I'm not into it. It really has to make sense for me. And everything I've heard thus far has not made sense. I want to focus on what I'm doing. They keep bringing it up. Or they brought it up a few times. Every time they brought it up, I don't really see how it works. but if they can figure out something that works,
Starting point is 00:33:32 which I find doubtful, then we'll see. That's what I read from the way he, his body language and everything else. And he was like, oh, he's open for it. Where in the world, Winston? Did you read into that that he was open? He gave me the same body language that Sequin Barclay did about,
Starting point is 00:33:48 oh, I don't want the record. I'd rather rest and get ready for the playoff. No, no, no, no. You can see it in his eyes. You've heard enough rumors from people around the way. No, he doesn't. He doesn't want to do it, but he understands at least for the time being and for the cameras, you got to play ball.
Starting point is 00:34:05 And if his hand gets forced where, unfortunately, also like Sequin, it's like, sorry, you're going to sit. Sorry, we're going to make this happen whether you want to or not. That unfortunately, he may have to do that. But no, I stand by what Kois. We've all kind of reiterated that as good. Patinson is. Just keep it, keep them in separate places.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Right. What do you be thinking about Sclenore is possible? possibly Batman, though, if that is the case. I mean, look, taking another look at him, you know, while you're reading the story, I genuinely think that he would be a good choice. The idea of someone saying, oh, he looks like he might be too young, that's silly for a couple of reasons. One, like you said, hey, by the time this movie actually comes out, he'd probably be 40.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Two, you have the idea of, I'm assuming you want Batman to be around for a minute before you change into another Batman. So having him be 34 currently is honestly not. that big of a deal because he just looking at some of his looks from the other products he's done, he can play anywhere from like early 30s to late 40s pretty convincingly and makeup can only enhance that. So I think that that's a silly iteration unless you need a more Kyle Chandler situation where Kyle Chandler looks like he's in his late 40s, early 50s. You know what I'm saying? So like that's not those are two very different kind of scenarios. If that's the kind of
Starting point is 00:35:25 Batman you want, you have a different conversation. But if you're looking for Batman in his 40s, that he could easily pull that off. What do you think, Cole? You think he, does he have a look? I also think 34, if Damien Wayne's 9,
Starting point is 00:35:36 25 is a very functional man. Absolutely. I also feel like that's what you be making the mistake of actually hooking up with an assassin and popping out of child you didn't even realize. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:35:46 When you're 20s is when you accidentally sleep with Rosal Gould's. Yeah, exactly. That is that is exactly excellent point. A year old Batman ain't like, whoops, I accidentally knocked up one of my greatest Dennis business daughters.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Like you do that in your 20s. I think Winston said the right verbiage there, and Coy said the wrong verbage. Winston said you accidentally knocked somebody up. He said you accidentally sleeps with somebody. That's assault. That's assault. I need more sleep. I'm going to the correction. Accidentally sleeping someone who's assault. So I know what you meant. So, you know, the other one that's been going around, guys, for a bit here. And we got to talk about this. And we talked about the last couple days
Starting point is 00:36:24 is the Black Panther rumor. Now, the first rumor was that, he was going to be recast after years. That's so to seem to be. And then there was this follow-up article that said he's not going to be recast. He's going to be, you know, his son who's also Tachala, but it's going to be in a variant version of it. So Winston, I don't know, man, you've been hearing these reports. You've been saying that you'd be up for the recasting if it's done the right way.
Starting point is 00:36:49 And do you have a preference if they're either going to recast or they're going to put Tachala as his son in the role? That's a junior that they showed. No, I know there are people that really are going to feel some type of way. And technically by making him his son, well, you could be like, you're exactly like your father. There is still something that's kind of like, okay, that's not him. But I don't know. If you go the route of it's his son, if let's say, for example, we want to see the marriage of, you know, him in Storm. There's something to be said about, like, okay, well, if we haven't met Storm yet,
Starting point is 00:37:27 depending on, you know, because we haven't had mutants in this world, it maybe makes a little more sense that maybe they're more closer to age to do that. I don't know. I, I, we just need the character to Chalha back. That I know for a fact. So if we're going to do this, you need to make it happen like a sapsual, but otherwise, that, that to me is the bigger problem, is that we don't have to chala to be at the cornerstone of these stories. What do you stand with this, quick? It's tricky because like the Black Panther mantle is a passed on mantle.
Starting point is 00:38:02 And Tachala isn't. Tachala is a person. Tachala's an individual. So if they're making Tachala to the kid growing up, it's still not the Tachala as Black Panther that we associate. So it kind of muddles a lot of the, the ancestral passing on as well as like what age is going to be. And I love the idea of, you know, reconfiguring something so that people do have that character they connect with. I just don't know if this is the way.
Starting point is 00:38:29 It just feels a little messy. But I want the character's too important to not figure it out. So whatever it takes to figure it out, I think is the essential thing to do for this impactful the character. Yeah. I'm curious how they're going to do it. And I think that they want to obviously have respect that comes with it. So we'll see. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:52 I just I hadn't really looked more into just because I'd kind of stayed away from it the idea of of yeah the you do have a Zari typically in the comics which is Chachala and Stormson I believe and he does have some mutant abilities so like that's its own like thing I think I think you're the way to go if you need to do it is maybe don't retcon his dying that feels kind of weird at this point they've kind of made the decision but if you if you're already bringing the fantastic four from like another universe maybe you're bringing the tachala from there too i think that i think that that's probably the that's what they that's the rumor yeah that's the rumor that they would do that um but even if they were going to do it with the sun they would probably
Starting point is 00:39:39 do that because he just wouldn't be old enough depending on how much time they jumped so we'll see but i'll tell you this not my my favorite story is this one this is my favorite story Fieriosa directed George Miller is eyed to direct either World World World World Hulk Was it a World War Hulk? Oh yeah, that's World World World. It's World War Hulk. Oh, boy, Josh, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Or I like Josh now. Or Thorfied by Marvel Studios. Mad Max and Furiosa director, George Miller, is reportedly being eyed to take the helm of World War. There we go. Hulk. Hulks for Marvel Studios, but the filmmaker may be more interested in Thor fine. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Says, we've been waiting a very long time for a new Hulk movie while the Avengers franchise Thor Ragnarok, She Hope, Attorney at Law have all helped. Bill the void, Bruce Banner, hasn't taken center stage since 2008's The Incredible Hulk. Recently, there have been rumblings about a World War Hulk project being in the work, something backed up by a recent production weekly listing, suggesting it could begin shooting this year.
Starting point is 00:40:44 World of Real Real did some digging and claims to have learned the project is an active development. In fact, the Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige is said to have already reached down to numerous directors, including George Miller. Yes, we could get a Miller directed World War Hulk movie. Interestingly enough, the report notes that Miller has expressed interest in Helming Thor 5, after working with Chris Hemsworth on Furiosa. The actor was reportedly responsible for setting up the meeting between the filmmaker
Starting point is 00:41:10 and Feigey. Miller has flirted with the idea of directing a superhero movie, of course, as he was behind the camera for Justice League, a model movie that fell apart before production began. He's also defended the genre by saying, I watch all of them. To be honest, in terms of this debate, cinema is cinema, and it's a very broad church. The test ultimately is what it means to the audience. Brilliant answer, George.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Miller later criticized Martin Scorsese's hubris for deciding what is and isn't cinema by noting it's such a broad spectrum, a wide range, and to say that anyone is more significant or more important than the other is missing the point. It's one big mosaic, and each bit of it works into it. doing the rounds to promote Furiosa last year. Mad Max franchise creator was asked outright if he'd helm Hemsworth and possible Thor 5. I would work with Chris on anything. I really would.
Starting point is 00:41:56 He's a wonderful actor. He's got the full range of all the skills he enthused. I mean, you've got to be athletic physically, but you also got to be athletic emotionally and intellectually to take on these very ultimate fair, complex, my role. Any role really. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Listen, this is a great story. I love this story so much. for a lot of different reasons. First of all, love what he said in response to the cinema stuff. And this is George Miller, who is, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:25 it's not like, oh, he's just a young guy going up against Scorsese. They're like in the same, I think they went to the same school. Not really, but you know what I'm saying. But the point is that these guys come from the same,
Starting point is 00:42:37 you know, era, really, and one guy gets it and the other guy does. And I love Scorsese. And I said, it's like, my defense of Scorsese is always like,
Starting point is 00:42:45 you're not going to, if my dad is set in his ways at his age, So Scorsese, you're not going to change them. In the same way, he does not either use a remote control, he's not going to learn how to use it tomorrow. Now, the idea of George Miller directing a Marvel movie is very exciting in general. Both of these fit his wheelhouse, I think. If I'm picking my preference, I'm picking Thorfein.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Overall, because of his relationship with Chris, because I just rewatched Dark World with Sam. and I looked at how, even though I know that a lot of people don't like that movie, I like that movie. I don't mind it. And one of the reasons that I do like it is because Thor is actually Thor in it. He's the same Thor that is introduced in Part 1 and Avengers and this. Chris Hemsworth's great a comedy, but they,
Starting point is 00:43:36 I think that they overused his comedy and he even said as much in the last one. I mean, they really overused it. The last one, it's not even really Thor. It's just some kind of Saturday Live character. So to see him return with George Miller, that's my pick but Coy would say you So it's interesting because I'm more interested in a Thor 5
Starting point is 00:43:53 that redeems the character than I think Hulk needs redemption but I don't know if World War Hulk is the way to do it but ironically the only way I'd be interested in a World War Hulk is George Miller because it's basically the comics adapting Mad Max like there's so much Mad Max imagery
Starting point is 00:44:09 and style and bravado in the World War Hulk comic that I think they would get me excited so I lean Thor 5 as you do but this is the one announcement where if either these happen, I'm ecstatic because of the exact ingredients in his take. Agreed. What do you think, Winston? While I agree on the connection with Chris towards Thor 5, I lean a little more World War Hulk just because, as you both have mentioned,
Starting point is 00:44:37 the fact that he has been such a master class in dealing with like apocalyptic scenarios, World War Hulk is supposed to be like, oh, we don't effed everything up. We don't piss this dude off in the world is gone. Like even if we're going to somehow maybe tap into, like, I would love to see him helm like a maestro situation, which for a Christian, if you're not familiar with maestro, essentially Hulk, finally is like, you know what? Enough. And just merks everybody and becomes king of the world versus the World War Hulk situation where he's coming back to kill everybody because, you know, his family was killed off world and whatnot. This one has just kind of got mad with power and becomes the ruler. and is at some point gets silver surfer's board and keeps caps you know shield as part of his mantle and all that kind of stuff i could very much see him be uh while of a sudden could i not remember the name of um oh my god the fury road you go huh you just you your camera went out oh it's doing that overheating thing but um perfect yeah i know you got to love it uh but yeah it's all right so when you get your camera back and then we'll we'll we'll we'll we'll
Starting point is 00:45:47 Oh, there you go. Well, either way, you got a chance that George Miller is going to be doing World War Hulk or it's going to be doing Thor. I think we're in good. The fact that that's who he's going after to do this in general, I, Faggy, that is, I think is a good sign. So I'm all for it. I ask you guys, what do you think? So put your comments in there. And please, let us know.
Starting point is 00:46:14 I'm trying to think of there's some other stories that really popped in here. anything else that we should discuss any oh yeah you know the other one this is a brief when we talked about yesterday i'm curious what you guys think um they mentioned cynthia rivo for storm she yeah i'm the same i feel the same way you do it was um i think she's a star i think she is i think she's good i think i who step said it yesterday i agree with her i think physically um she's a little too tiny um that's part one part two is i don't think that you need someone that that star status playing it plus the fact it looks like they're trying to get younger so i'm not on board with that but winston you were shaking your head too why do you say no no i i mean the things
Starting point is 00:46:58 you mentioned um there is if you want to get into the more nitty gritty of it as far as like with just like black folk and what night that during the whole wicked run there was a number of stuff that came back up about her kind of anti-black american comment she's made in the past so there's a lot of African-Americans that are not really rocking with her right now just because of that. And the last little bit is a lot of people will continue to bring up the fact that, you know, to not have a darker skin tone storm as far as that all goes as well. So there's just throw all of that collectively. I just, I don't think you need to go that route.
Starting point is 00:47:36 She's famous. I think you could use this as a means to. You don't need a famous person for this X-Men. The same way that Corn Sweat will become a star because of Superman, you could, do that for a young black actress to become storm i agree uh coy are you on the same page or different page yeah i i can see her as an x-men but like 5-1 is not storm um she has big presents but like i don't she's five-one yeah she says she heard yeah they're both they're both they're both around the same yeah no really is no absolutely but like when when de wanda weiss jody turner smith and you know
Starting point is 00:48:09 however many unknown actresses or actresses i just don't know are out there personally i don't i don't see one plus one equal to here uh duke and jerry turner smith had been my storms for a while i don't think but but but coy that you know they're going with sadie sink apparently as as jean gray if they're going that young then jody turner smith might be oh yeah if they're going everyone 20s you know reading 20s then none of these people work but if you're looking at the age range that is the you know cynthia rivo age range and the like teacher age range then i'd go with those two or um or the woman from a cop shop. Like there are so many actresses I think would kill.
Starting point is 00:48:45 But I'd also love an unknown to become a star because like you're saying, Storm is the star of that, not the actress playing Storm. Okay. Well, that's it. I ask you guys what you think. Do you think that Cynthia Revo should be Storm or could be Storm or is there somebody else out there that could do it? We have a lot of different, we have a lot of questions, a lot of questions.
Starting point is 00:49:06 So we're going to get to those questions now. The guys are trying to get to 110 to be Dan. and Roka and guys and Roku will get mad at me for doing this but I'll do it anyway if we get to 1.30 today I'll drop one of those Star Wars scoops we gotta get to 130 yeah I get to 130 so um that's that's what will happen if not I'll probably drop it tomorrow or or uh or or I mean Monday or Tuesday um okay so before we get into the questions go ahead Coy where you got going on on the channel i have uh i had pre taped enough that i haven't missed more than one day uh in my on my page so my page is still very active while i'm on the run uh and i'll be back
Starting point is 00:49:50 to do a lot more i'm gonna finally catch up on my this weekend comic stuff so all the comics i've read while on the lamb from the fire uh gonna be doing that probably sunday or monday and uh i passed 41 so we're on the road to 50k when i hit 50k i'm doing a 50 comic giveaway so subscribe over on my page lots of stuff going on i'm so tired but i'm with you guys and i Appreciate each and everyone. Winston, what you got going on, man? Yeah, man. So I think the thing that's most exciting for me right now is I'm sure a lot of you've
Starting point is 00:50:19 noticed I've kind of had my eyes on the camera the whole time. That's because my new computer is actually working. We haven't had any kind of tech issues other than, you know, using this prompter that I have up, you know, overheated my camera. We'll figure that out. The point is I can now actually, that there's the old brick of a computer over there. I can really get on on getting back into my content. So what I'm really excited about next week, I'm going to be streaming and I will be able to do a catch-up with you, let you know what is coming for the channel.
Starting point is 00:50:47 I've just told Christian and Koi, I've got a really, really awesome piece of content coming up in the next couple of weeks to gear up for the start of the superhero season and movies. So with all of that, please go find me at YouTube.com slash a swaggy blurred and let's get it popping for 2025. Hell yeah. Thank you. No, the other side. The other side. No? No, the other side.
Starting point is 00:51:12 The other side. You're right. Me, it's on that side. There you go. Now you're touching my asshole. We're just going to have both. I'm so glad to be back with you guys because I like you guys. Every time when Marocas trying to slap me around, I said, let's beat that bitchy ass today with his little.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Hey, I hope you know this, Winston. Do you know what I did one time? What did you do? And he wasn't looking like a shit in his hat. Oh, my God. Oh, yeah. Right in that outlaw hat. All in his hat?
Starting point is 00:51:39 Oh, yeah. I said, take that Mr. outlaw. Here's my, my balls on your head and my shit in your mouth. Ew. Yeah. That's the name of my first album. Outlaw shit mouth. Balls. I'm the outlaw shit mouth. That's what they call me in some parts of France. Thank you, he's, he's, you know, he's glad to be back. It's glad to be back. Um, okay, let's get into this. Let me start with the first one. We're at 32 as we start 32. approaching trying to beat roka at 110.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Alex Frazier. Timothy Shalamey as Terry McGinnis. Thoughts. Terry McGinnis is who? That is the that is Batman Beyond Batman. That is the one from the future. He tends to be around kind of like a Spider-Man age. I don't hate it. The thing is I don't think that's anywhere on the lexicon right now. And by the time they decide to do that,
Starting point is 00:52:35 I know Timothy looks like he's 12 always, but will age. So I don't know how I feel about that because by the time you start it, he'll start to really look like an adult. And then that doesn't really work anymore. Yeah, for me, I've always seen him as a bit more commanding physically.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Like, not bulky, but like Timothy Shalame is like a Tim Drake, a very slight robin to me. So I personally would go with like a, you know, a bigger guy. I also have always saw Terry McGuinness as like Asian. I don't know why. Um, so I personally see him that way. But, um, yeah, I, I like Tim Disholme, but I think like Winston said, by the time we get there, I don't know for Tim. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Let's see. Next one here. And, oh, Winston's gone again. All right. Yep. You might have to use the other camera. Um, okay. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:53:27 And this is EWalk, who says, I like Brendan Scunar for Wolverine over Batman. Uh, I think he's too tall for Wolverine. We looked at up. He was like, what, six four? We were like, yeah, Batman. Which means no, Wolverine. He's pretty tall. He doesn't read that tall.
Starting point is 00:53:43 Like when you see him, like I didn't realize he's as tall as he is, but he's pretty damn tall. And he's, dude, he's so good. You guys don't watch 1923. He's so good on that show. He's so good on that show. I don't watch it now. He's great on that show.
Starting point is 00:53:55 So I love, I love that choice, if that's indeed where they go. But I don't think, I don't think Wolverine is the way to go. I like Matthew Wood for Wolverine right now. The dude played Belushi and Saturday night. Oh, all right. I didn't, he was, you know, I liked him. He was my, he was my least favorite at all the Saturday night characters. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:54:17 It's like tininess and his feralness felt like a, sure, sure. It wasn't that he was a bad actor. I'm so, like, Belushi was like one of my all-time favorites, right? Like, he, he did, he did the serious part of Belushi well, but not the overall Belushi. Sure. And I don't know if it was, or anything, whatever, whatever it was. But, uh, anyway.
Starting point is 00:54:38 EWalk. Should Marvel do solo films for the main X-Men characters, Wolverine Storm, and then every few years, they all come together for a massive X-Men film, kind of like Avengers or that overgo. I've been making, we've had this debate on this show a thousand different times. That was literally, that was literally my pitch is that not just any side characters, but Storm, Cyclops, the big characters to have themselves do solo movies. You can still have X-Men inside of it, and then doing a big event, like X-Men, I think is the way to go.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I think it's a way to have longevity and not start running around with side characters and ones that you don't know that can fit. I love the idea, but apparently a lot of people don't. But Winston, you don't love that idea. Personally, I don't. I would much rather, because that's the thing. It's not that they aren't interesting as individuals. They absolutely are.
Starting point is 00:55:31 But you want to talk about the ultimate team. Honestly, what that would feel like is saying, you know, you don't need a fantastic four movie. Let's do a Reed Richards movie and we'll do a Ben Grimm movie and we'll do a Sue Storm movie and we'll do a Su Storm movie and then we'll do a Fantastic Four movie. It doesn't, that doesn't make sense in my opinion. Okay. I also like the idea of doing an X-Men movie and then doing specials, whether it's the, you know,
Starting point is 00:55:54 Disney Plus special or movies of the big characters that deserve that, like Cyclops and Storm and stuff. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, where we can get there faster. Like X-Man and then do the in solos. That, I agree with that. Yeah. Star with an X-Men movie? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Yeah. All right, mirror domains. I want, I want read cool. Zatana Stories. Where do I start? I think really cool. I want to read cool Zatana stories. Where should I start?
Starting point is 00:56:20 She's got a solo book out right now from D.C.'s black label. That's only three issues. It's like a little mini-series. That's really good. Just look up as a ton of black label. I also think her stuff with the Justice League dark is pretty solid. That deals with her relationship with Constantine in really fun ways. I'd start with those two.
Starting point is 00:56:39 They're really approachable, and you'll have to have a lot of continuity. All right. Pete Parker, 2288. Christian, I know that you have a hatred for Thor, love, and thunder, but I think, what's DW? Dark world. Dark world. It's so much worse. Winston, I literally had this conversation before.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Just had it, yeah. The B&W planet scene alone is more inspired than anything Dark World. Yeah, see, I disagreed the same way that I disagreed with Winston, because Thor is actually Thor. there's actually a story the what i was watching it through sam's eyes what i was when she was watching is that what that movie does well is you are already you're dealing with loki at that point who was the main villain avengers and then you have the daunting task of making him likable and obviously do that through tom hittleston but you have to do it through the story and he is plagued by the
Starting point is 00:57:31 his mother's death he does have a lot of love for renne rousseau you know he's got the he's he has that great seen with Anthony Hopkins where they have this the screaming moment in the and how there's still this father and son relationship but he's not the one that he's proud of and then he then he's got to reconcile with Thor so there's all that that ultimately shapes the way that you feel about Loki going forward in the MCU it's so important um there are some moments that if you compare like you compare the humor to which i remember seeing it thinking that some of the cat denning stuff was so over the top, it is like watching the Godfather part two
Starting point is 00:58:10 compared to the humor in Thor, Love and Thunder. See, my pushback, and I'm glad they brought up the black and white planet from Love and Thunder. I think I will give you that the brother stuff
Starting point is 00:58:26 with Loki and Dark World is really good. And I will also give you that the lower points in Love and Thunder are worse than the low points in dark world. However, to see the through line of the whole cancer narrative, to see the through line of parentage
Starting point is 00:58:46 and all that kind of stuff throughout and especially seeing, you know, the God butcher, in the beginning, straight up, everything that's going on, okay, do you? Everybody doing the, like him begging the God for, like help. and it rings so true to a lot of what people are stressed out right now. I brought up the Luigi thing when I was watching it. I just tweeted this randomly.
Starting point is 00:59:13 I was like, my God, like this literally feels like his story was my back's hurt. I go to my insurance. I go F yourself. So then I took it into my own hands. I was like, this feels like a one to one of what just happened. So I don't know. But I think the problem is with that you mentioned the cancer thing, right? It's like they decide at the end of the movie they want to be a serious movie.
Starting point is 00:59:35 after giving you 75% of you might as well have, you know, Will Ferrell pop in there and start doing stuff because... I think the letdown from things in Love and Thunder is bigger than, like, the things it offers and fails at are bigger than the things Dark World offers and fails at. So, like, to me, Dark World in the overall scope, I think of more positively because of the Loki elements,
Starting point is 00:59:59 then the Jane Foster stuff. I love the concepts, but then when they're not delivered, it hurts more. yeah i agree um we let's let's go to we'll go to the next one if you want to see the thor the dark world watch uh long uh it's up on the channel now um mike joyce i want a tom holland solo spider man movie solve a problem on his own the only person i would want him to team up with is black cat i mean yeah i think we've all been saying that for a while it'd be it'd be great i think i bet you that tom holland wants that too that's what it seems like and i think he's deserved it and earned it yeah i think so but I don't think we're going to get it, unfortunately,
Starting point is 01:00:35 because I don't know. I feel like they think that, you know, everybody wants a lot of villains and a lot of big actors. I truly believe if you're going to do anything, the only two you should bring in outside of a black cat, which I think would be good, would literally be Kingpin and Daredevil. And you don't even need to put Daredevil at the center of it.
Starting point is 01:00:53 It could be enough that he's been dealing with it or something like that. But just that is it. I don't think you need to bring anything else into this. Joe Fosho Glad you guys are all safe Peace and love to you and your family Thank you Joe for show
Starting point is 01:01:07 Yeah me too Like I keep getting people You know check it in on Some people I guess didn't know I moved Checking in on me and stuff too And I was just like I'm just glad that My friends are safe
Starting point is 01:01:17 And like my And I've known tons of people Who their homes are gone But they're safe And their families are safe And it's like it's A lot of pain that's involved With it obviously
Starting point is 01:01:28 But just glad that they're all safe um roman what's up roman how are you buddy hey all hearts going out to you both winston and coy i experienced evacuation from a wildfire at a young age and i'm sorry that you have to experience it yeah it's pretty uh it's pretty tough that quick i was just i would say appreciate that it's something you can't really like it feels interesting to have lived just the panic of oh everything i own could be gone um but it's not really like a thing you can articulate like it's a very surreal thing to be like perhaps everything i've ever bought is nothing um but I am very lucky that I wasn't in a different proximity.
Starting point is 01:02:04 I was close, but we're good to go, but I'm very appreciative. No, same thing. And I think the thing for me, while there was the little shock fear there, I watched somebody who lived pretty close to where you are, Coy, where this person has pulled their entire life savings into their home, and that would have been everything. And then I watched my sister, who I went to go stay with, since she just bought her house, her contractor, literally lost everything.
Starting point is 01:02:35 And so they just took the kids out to be, they had left real quick to be like, okay, they say there's some stuff going on, we're just going to go, whatever. And they just grabbed overnight clothes and then came back and all gone. And I, and I just can't even imagine that. It's horrible. Horrible. I'm sorry that's happening to everybody. but thank you guys for everybody who's just checking in and saying the kind words live action is the superior media says animation is whack
Starting point is 01:03:03 he doesn't like animation quote you don't like that coy you don't like animation i hate all cartoons if it's drawn i hate it especially comic books yeah uh Sean Peter sell no Jorrell and Superman think you're going to get a surprise casting I think you'll get Jarrell in a sequel and a flashback yeah i don't think we need him but if we get him i'm sure it'll be handled like yeah i don't know if we need it but we'll see we would know who he is already if it happened uh george cluny will coy ever would coy ever get another good matrix movie yeah because all those i mean i wish i knew oh yeah there you go are you excited about the drew goddard uh i i'm a huge drew goddard fan and i and i really feel like we need the matrix as an ongoing. I think of the concepts. I think about the matrix as much as I think religious people think about their religion. Like the matrix is as close
Starting point is 01:03:56 to me believing in anything as I have that isn't provable. So I want that ongoing saga. And I think Drew Goddard is one of the most interesting writers. So if there's ever anyone that's going to give me a little bit of hope after me being disappointed at him. Do you think that there's something to this whole will thing? I think it's a Super Bowl commercial. yeah yeah that's what it seemed like yesterday i'm afraid it's liberal commercial yeah it seemed like yeah there was like there was another report once in that pretty much said that that wasn't it wasn't happening um dennis hoffman schneider steff schneider said on the mic on the hot mic that sony needs to include a marquee mc u character per the deal uh hulk fits the bill who would fit better for
Starting point is 01:04:41 you guys i mean a punisher right Daredevil if we're going MCU versus Netflix miss Marvel I think Kamala would be perfect for his like energy she's kind of the modern silver age take on spider-man I think she'd be a team up but I spotty to be solo but if I'm picking someone vibe wise Kamala yeah that's that's it that's a good one Punisher for me especially if Kamala's gonna have the young Avengers TV series I want to see I want to I just don't know if the Netflix ones count for whatever the, you know, this, that's true. That's why I'm picking someone out of that. Yeah, because if you're going to do that, then some, some blend of the defenders, I guess.
Starting point is 01:05:26 I don't know. Like, if that's the case, then again, Daredevil, their devil is fine. That, that is, that is perfect. Who's a big, this is off, off topic, but who's, who's a big Saturday Night fan of you guys? Castle. You know, there's a 90, 5% chance that I'm getting
Starting point is 01:05:46 the great Joe Piscopo on the show. Oh. Which is going to be awesome. Wow. This is really good. This guy would be happy. Perfect. Okay. Let's see. Let's go back to
Starting point is 01:06:04 I want to get some more. Thank you for all the questions. 49 questions so far. 49 questions. Chris, listen, felt for the real hero of the show big balls glad to have you back glad to be back perfect thank you let's fighty look a spidey trying he's looking for him too where is he yeah um they'd have a good they have a good conversation well you know what
Starting point is 01:06:34 actually hold on a second hold on a second hold on Yeah. Hey, I hear you hear me. Hey, I hear that. Well, Spidey's got a wee-wee, right? Other side. Other side. Other side. Hey, Sparty, I'll go the other side for you, baby. Come on. I'm going to jail cell? Me and you. Come on. You hit me with the woodcliness. That's what I'm just joshing. Does anybody say that anymore? Joshin? I'm just, I'll let you pay with my balls. Thank you, Big Balls. Put him to sleep. Put him to sleep. All right, let's say. Next one, Big Balls is back
Starting point is 01:07:20 and the audience is already tired of them. All right, so here we go. Let's get to the next one. And this is from Richard Kay. You know, Matt Reeves said he wants the Batman to surprise the audience. Could the surprise be a David Corenswet Superman cameo? No, no.
Starting point is 01:07:38 I'm not trying to come at you, Richard Kay, but I really want them to keep. keep these two things separate. Yeah, no chance. I think, I think it's, you know, he's going to, he just wants to, whether it's Mr. I think Mr. Freese is inevitable. I think it's going to happen, Mr. Freeze. So, no, I don't think Superman is a chance at all.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Go, pal, support. Glad you're all safe. Thank you, go, pal. Very kind. Chandler, host, man, when is, Winston, oh, he wants, Winston, is, no, your hair's getting long. You get in a haircut soon? Literally today, because I have an audition.
Starting point is 01:08:09 There you go. I don't, I don't cut my hair during the holidays. it's just not something I do. No, I need one too. This one is from Kailon J. Dr. Doom sends Maestro Hulk to New York and the Spider Boys, Daredevil, and Punisher
Starting point is 01:08:24 have to defend Earth. Scar dies in the process which leads to World War Hulk. Wow. That's a lot. That's a lot going on. I don't... I don't be interested to see how it works, but that's a lot going on. You got to make a real long movie.
Starting point is 01:08:39 You're a veteran-level event, Caitlin. Yeah, you definitely want George Miller for that one. John Roka, I don't believe this is really John Roker. The Pout law, definitely not John Roker. Y'all better show me the Super Chat champs from respect or I'm eating all your asses. I'm clapping all your damn cheeks. Clap, clap, clap, yeah, it's definitely at Roka because he says Trump, 28. Also, the Poutlaw. The Poutlaw. The Pout was pretty great. Pretty great. Way to go grab that, that photo of him, too. It really sell it. Took it right off of his page. hilarious um all right next one is ian davis i hope we get uh cynthia rivo storm what would be your dream
Starting point is 01:09:19 casting for main x-men cyclops jean gray magneto uh wolverine roe i mean i like the gene gray sady sink pig a lot and if you're going to go that way i like a lot of like more up-and-comers than established names like they did with the first x-man i mean look it people are going to bitch and complain about it if it happens but kiki palmer said she would love to the opportunity to play rogue and i think that she has more than proven that she can play a you know because even though rogue is less cajian like remi but is still from that kind of region out of what is she's she's she's 31 though same same same argument with cynthia rivo oh i guess she's a little older cynthia's like late 38 38 she's 31 i mean you could play it young
Starting point is 01:10:07 but if you want to keep it like i don't know 20 year olds i'm i'm old i don't know but quite i don't want to know i don't mean like i just don't know how to fancast the yeah i want to be introduced to them as the character i don't want to say oh that's so-and-so from that uh from from nope nah that's uh the from from let me let me see somebody like who's that that storm that's who that storm that's the same way you didn't know who cue jackman was no so i think they'll do a mix like i think hally barry was obviously Halliberry was. That's true.
Starting point is 01:10:40 So is, so is Patrick Stewart. I think you'll take, I think you'll take the ones that are in more mentorship roles. They will be played by veteran actors. You could, you should get a more unknown to Wolverine again
Starting point is 01:10:50 because there's certain characters that are more popular than the actors that you don't really care. It doesn't matter who you are. Like, so like, look at Superman. Superman's a perfect example of that, right? Like, Nicholas Holt is known.
Starting point is 01:11:00 So you can put Lex, you can put a known actor in that role. But that role of Superman, you put you give someone a chance to shine i feel like the only role that they almost always go with like a name is batman if you think about it because like as keaton wasn't doing that kind of stuff yet but he was like one as a comedian you know he was people knew knew his name christian bail same yeah christian bail wasn't i think val kilmer was probably the biggest movie star
Starting point is 01:11:32 belcimer george cloney cloney was well yeah at that point Attenson. That's true. That's true. Athlete probably. Affleck was probably the biggest movie story. I think Christian Bell's probably the smallest. He was. He was still huge. He just wasn't, you know, Bell-Pilmer. He was, no, at the time Christian Bale was,
Starting point is 01:11:48 remember Christian Bale was supposed to play Superman at one point, too. He was up for a lot of different roles. I think the exception to that, too, is the fact that you just got to remember. That is Christopher Nolan doing his own thing. He got the rights to do said movie, and he had been working with Christian Bail plenty already. That's one of his, like, the way, you know, Coogrel has, Michael B Jordan and stuff. That's just that this road dog.
Starting point is 01:12:09 All right. Dustin Owens. What? Is that somebody? No, no, no, no, no, no. I just read the question before you did it out loud. My phone. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:12:18 Oh, have you guys checked out Marvel rivals? God, yes. So much. I have wasted so much of my time. And by wasted, I don't mean that at all. It is a fantastic game. And that's actually one of the things I'll be doing this weekend as far as I got what's going on. I will be streaming me playing Marvel rivals and whooping people's asses,
Starting point is 01:12:35 especially because the Fantastic Four drop today. I am so ready to play with Sue, man. She got the Gams and the Powers. The Gams. Casual scroll, one out of two. Just maybe any Batman projects being delayed is a good thing. That way we can build up the other heroes in the DCU, building a fan base for lesser known heroes like Gunn did for the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yeah, but the difference is this. Guardians of the Galaxy came out in 2014, you know, what, five years or six years after Iron Man one did, and they didn't go with unknown heroes. I mean, Iron Man wasn't like a massive, but he was bigger than Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America, Hulk, Thor. They went with all those that tried and true first before they didn't.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Spider-Man, they had to wait because they didn't have the rights for, but they would have, Spider-Man would have come out. If they had the rights for it, Spider-Man would have come out in that first wave for sure. So, DC, you want to get everybody moving. I think Superman, Supergirl, because they're going to introduce Supergirl in Superman. then Lantern's putting them on a TV show.
Starting point is 01:13:38 I think that Batman, I think they're going to push it forward and they're going to rush it because it's Batman. So I don't think delay is that good for them because I think they're going to need, you know, they're going to want to keep delivering. I don't think they should team up him and Superman right away like they did last time. But I don't know, Corey, what do you think? I think Batman should be like not a phase two, but like a late phase one. if we're looking at the typical language.
Starting point is 01:14:05 I think it should be in your first array, but I don't think it should be front loading. So I think the way we're doing, this is having a ton, having the lanterns and Supergirl as like you're supporting and then end whatever the shape of the opening's going to be.
Starting point is 01:14:18 I think in the first five years, Batman, but don't rush it for the sake of anything, but don't also keep them. People are going to, we're going to have to have this conversation the next four years until we have news. What do you think, Winston? Yeah, don't, don't.
Starting point is 01:14:34 I agree with you that the difference with Guardians is that we were already midway through the whole situation. You have to lay enough of a foundation to get people in the door. Because think about, even though it would be technically IP that's being used, literally think about every movie in recent years, where unfortunately, as much as we say, give us something original, people don't flock to it the way that they should. I understand that Blue Beetle was in a weird space because of, you know, the strike and kind of off the pandemic and the DCE was dead and all that kind of stuff. But that would have been a perfect example of a very talented actor, a hero we haven't seen before. And it was a good movie. It wasn't a bad movie. And it just didn't do what you need.
Starting point is 01:15:18 So I think you need to get enough in the door with a Superman or something like that. And then you can start to do that like we did previously. Well, this is also what cash. He follows up and says, that way when Batman things are settled, when his movie comes out, it'll be hopefully in a well-established universe and there'll be such an anticipation for a new Batman at that time, which makes sense. Just money-wise, business-wise, will they have the patience to wait? We shall see. All right, legend MM-600.
Starting point is 01:15:48 What up? You guys got cool shirts on. I loved your top 10 movies in 2025. Crazy Superman, you say, will be number one. This is the anticipated that I did. wish the Batman or X-Men or X-Men movies would come. They will. They'll be there eventually. I did my, I don't know what you guys did for your anticipated.
Starting point is 01:16:03 I haven't done it yet, but that's like I said, now that I've got everything else set up, I'm very excited to do all that with everybody. Well, what are yours, Christian? I'm going to go, my list that I put out, I want to make sure that I have, have it out here. This is, is this all of them?
Starting point is 01:16:18 Yeah. Okay, so from my, the honorable mentions, we're happy Gilmore to Zootopia to Wicked to Running Man, Predator Black Phone to 28 years later Thunderbolts accountant to Mickey 17 and Captain America. Those were my...
Starting point is 01:16:35 That's like essentially all sequels more or less. Yeah, that's the honorable mentions. By number 10 is F1. Number nine was ballerina. Number eight was Mission Impossible. Number seven was the
Starting point is 01:16:51 Battle of Bacton Cross, which is the Paul Thomas Anderson, Leonardo Caprio movie. Six is fantastic. Oh, sorry, reverse that. Seven was Fantastic Four. Six was Battle of Backton Cross. Five is after the hunt. And as I said, no, it's not just because Julia Robertson.
Starting point is 01:17:09 I like what Luca is doing and Andrew Garfield. And it's like this thriller and I like what Luke is doing right now. Four is sinners. Three is the smashing machine. Two is Avatar, two and one is Superman. What's the smashing machine? That's the Mark Kerr. UFC movie starring Dwayne Johnson the A24 movie oh I forgot that was next year that's
Starting point is 01:17:30 that's going on my list now that yeah yeah um did you make yours you did you did your ship yeah yeah I got my honorable mention is uh Megan 2 the running man cried good legends uh I've got back to cross a little lower than you Jurassic World just because they are apparently rebooting in a good way final destination I love that franchise uh pretty not though boy Jurassic World is not rebooting in a good way they're doing big monsters and everything again yeah well that should be lower uh predator Captain America is my honorable mention, Blackphone two, honorable mention F1 is my top of honorable mentions.
Starting point is 01:18:04 And then my top 10 is Thunderbolts, How to Train Your Dragon Live Action, Mickey 17, 28 years later, Mission Impossible is number six. Paddington in Peru in a couple weeks at number five. Sinners at number four, accountant two at number three, Fantastic Four, and then Superman. Nice. Okay. It's good year. It's pretty good.
Starting point is 01:18:24 okay so that was that one thank you yes superman was uh definitely number one for me okay so this is the follow up right now guys at 60 at 60 with uh 45 minutes left to go already asked this on the show so from owen landing with roco but maybe but my under the radar pick for clay face is lee one hell what do you guys think any picks you guys have i he brought this up the other day owen did and and we all were like that's a great pick for clay face great pick um that person uh Invisible Man, Invisible Man. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:57 That's actually a really good pick. Great pick. Was he, was he the main character in Upgrade? Lee Winell? He's a director. He's a director. Oh, I thought you were saying for an actor.
Starting point is 01:19:10 No, no, directing it. Lee Winell is directed. I assume Playface is going to play him as an actor because he's in the DCU as him. Yeah, Lee Wynel directed an Invisible Man and now Wolfman coming out. Oh, I put in Lee Wynel. I put in Lill. Lee Wunel and it showed me I think he is an actor. He was in Saw because he co-created it with James 1.
Starting point is 01:19:29 Yes. Okay. Okay. But yeah, I think Lee's perfect. And he loves, loves, loves, love genre stuff. I think he'd be fantastic. And he's also such a movie buff. And I think that'd be fun for a back group. I like Lee a lot. Kill a Camp. One could argue Iron Man trilogy isn't fantastical until the third Batman coming into DC after a long break might work if done well.
Starting point is 01:19:53 Yeah and I I push back on that because maybe in how it's presenting itself, but Hulk is already tied into it immediately because Nick Fury shows up at the end and then he is a Hulk. So I push back to that right away. Yeah, that's true. He is in the Hulk. So yeah. I also think Iron Man like invent science in the second movie. Right. He makes a whole new element.
Starting point is 01:20:20 That's true. That's true. Fallen District, do you guys watch COBRA Kai? And if you do, you fully cut up before the final episodes. I do watch it. I was a big fan of it for a very long time. I just kind of fell off of it for a little bit. But I'm going to, that's one of the shows. Again, I say this, not in a hating way, just because people keep asking me.
Starting point is 01:20:41 I will watch the rest of COBRA Kai before I watch Skeleton Grow. I need to finish. Wow. More important. I just don't, I just don't care about that show. I just saw this report. thing apparently it's like the lowest rate of Star Wars like
Starting point is 01:20:54 anything like ever nobody care it's a lot better than a lot it's not doing great this is they've they've lost they've lost goodwill they've just lost goodwill and I mean rating as far as viewership viewership okay not because it sounds like no
Starting point is 01:21:10 are saying it's not terrible but it's every no it's better than not terrible most people that I've seen that watch it are really liking it a lot like really enjoying it like most people that reach out to me. You got to check it out. You're going to love it. And I'm like, cool. I just, I just, I just, I just don't care. And I think that that's what is happening with a lot of people. They don't care. But for everybody who watches it, they love it. They love it. So
Starting point is 01:21:33 nobody's watching the show. It's like it's eating it's eating it bad, like real bad. It's it's lower ratings than the accolite way lower. Wow. Way lower. Marcus M. Punisher can be in the MCU fighting Hulk, but Battenson can't go to Metropolis. tone Gotham doesn't have to be the tone of other cities in the DCU. I mean, yeah, look, you can do it. You could do it. It's not impossible. It's just the question is maybe why do you want to try to give yourself another hurdle right now?
Starting point is 01:22:03 Also, those are two very different scenarios. First of all, Punisher is loosely already connected to the MCUV and Netflix versus the Matt Reeves universe is set in a very realistic. We don't touch any of that kind of stuff scenario. It's not just tone. It's how it's been kind of set up. So I get what you're trying to push back on one way or the other, but that's not an equivalent argument, to be honest.
Starting point is 01:22:31 Nick Alexander, if the Spider-Man for stuff is true, Daredevil and Wolverine also have a good chance of showing up would fit the tone for what it sounds like. They're not spending that kind of money. Biggest superhero, like one of the biggest superheroes in the world, and he's got to just share every frame. Right. So, well, Koi, how do you feel about that, though,
Starting point is 01:22:49 me because this is your, before you get slapped in the face by Spidey Cat. There's a lot going on. Yeah, my cat's name is like. But why, but as a Spider-Man like, you know, officianto, how do you feel about all this stuff? Is it driving you nuts? Winston? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:23:04 I'm not raising my hand. I just, never mind. It's hard for me because I have always wanted to see a solo Spider-Man movie with modern technology. I love what each era has brought us, but I feel like the modern stuff doesn't do the web swinging, like how I see. And I felt like the web swinging was great and Andrew Garfield, but the writing wasn't good because it had too many cooks in the kitchen. I feel like we needed to go through the Sam Ramey era that I like but don't love as much as some to get to this era of superhero film.
Starting point is 01:23:31 I'm wanting something that feels like some of the unique singularity of Sam Ramey, some of the actual comedy and web swinging of Garfield with the technology of Tom Holland. And like, it seems obvious to me. So it's hard for me to be like, guys, Spider-Man comic's been around for 60 years. he's got maybe the best rogue gallery of all time he's tied to batman for me how are we not making a spider man movie with the best rogue's gallery in comics with a character that's going to make a billion dollars by himself like it's it's so frustrating to be like it's right there um just you guys would know this and i hope the answer is no but chris greenier says random question is it true at the rose bowl in pasadena burnt i hadn't heard that i mean there was obviously a lot of uh i'll check really quick
Starting point is 01:24:17 There's a lot of stuff going down. I followed that up with Winston and Quiris. Thank you. I appreciate that. To my knowledge, I had heard that the Rose Bowl was being, oh, wow. Yeah, okay, no, it's not that it's not that it's been burned down. It's been used as a safe spot. Oh, amazing, good.
Starting point is 01:24:38 That's much, much better, much better. It is scary because the way it has been tearing through, you know, Altadena and Pasadena, but no. so far the rose ball where it's situated is right next to like old town pass it and stuff like that i've got a friend that lives over there if it would have to get through him first and he hasn't left home so no it's being used as a safe spot for people to evacuate to um matthew garrett jade cargo for storm jade cargo looks exactly like stormed if she but she's a wrestler um she looks you put her up there she looks exactly like storm the problem is not a great actor i just don't know yeah just just just just i just i just i just She's not a good actor. She's not a good, she's not a good wrestling. She's not a good. She's not going to be. Then that's probably not going to work.
Starting point is 01:25:23 I also like to see her. She is maybe a little too jack to be still. She's huge. I mean, she's like mussel to make your ass. What is it? Nubia? The, the body.
Starting point is 01:25:38 The white name is funny in that place Wonder Woman. Like, because she's that jacks. She's great, but she's, no, she's, she's, she's really electric. She just can't. She's just not a good, good. actor at all. Clipchamp Razor. Spider-Man has the best Ruggs gallery in Marvel. I just want
Starting point is 01:25:52 New York City as a character and the MCU take on classic Spidey Villains. Yes, essentially what Coy just said and I think you guys are on the same page and I think everybody is too. And we've touched on. We've had moments. I think homecoming at fun villains stuff, but we could do better. It's the Sony problem, dude. That's why. It's the Sony problem. Matt Thomas, what's up
Starting point is 01:26:08 man? B.C. Amar got a new computer. Because I got a new computer. Thank you, Matt. Matt rules. Thank you, Matt. Next one is Armada. Genius movie pitches. Mike Kahnowski stars in Hustle and flow, too. Yeah. I would pay, I would pay to watch that. Does that make Shannon Taraji P. Hanson? Sure. Better than being Tara Manning, I guess. Angel Suentes. Do you think that James Gunn is keeping Muscietti in the dark just in case things don't work out with Matt Reeves for Batman just to keep Batman? me an option ready to go either way maybe look there's another report we didn't really even go into that muscietti says he hasn't spoken to james gun since spider since superman started shooting that's not good yeah so i don't know if they would benefit anyone from keeping like people in the dark as a backup like that feels like that i don't know if i agree with that part but i do wonder how much of this is like
Starting point is 01:27:07 let's stay afloat because they want the scripts to be completed like i've made that very clear so i don't about keeping people in the dark like no it feels like that feels like you dating someone they're like no everything's fine i'm fine i'm just i'm just working a lot i'm just working a lot you're going out on other dates and shit who yeah it does feel like that and yeah and and on podcast you're like no no we're still together armada are you all fan of fans of rakeem he dropped an ep last year i mean yeah he's a old school man of course i didn't hear the last year i didn't know that but yeah i mean legend um all right so thank you for that one 73 thus far guys with 30 minutes left to go oh my goodness got a shot matt thomas subscribe not follow winston on twitch
Starting point is 01:27:54 where he goes live on twitch to make him watch the twilight saga to completion yes coy Terry is uh one half asian i thought i was not misremembering that i thought like i just always thought that was one of the things about his character because the world of batman beyond is a very like asian inspired future city I thought Gotham had like Asian influences so I always just remembered him as being half Asian but some of the chat thought I was No no no because Dana
Starting point is 01:28:19 Dana's Asian I have a lot of that yeah no That is that is if I remember correctly when they were talking about the styling because it still obviously fell in the Bruce Tim styling but as they were doing that they were also basing it off of anime so like it was getting an Akira meets Bruce Tim's you know
Starting point is 01:28:35 DC world vibe Uh see black Fantastic. forward with the most anticipated film after the trailer not for me um i mean like i'm looking forward like i said it's number seven for me but there's it's not going to beat some of those other movies like there's there's a few of those movies that i was like oh she even put higher up but i didn't because i i there's certain movies that i want us to see in theaters even though i know that they're me when i built for theaters like like i said like i mentioned the luka movie
Starting point is 01:29:00 after the hunt like that could be something you could watch at home but i can't wait to see it in the theater the there's so many movies that i want to see in the theater over fans fantastic four. There's like there's six more. But a lot of people will probably, I mean, Coy was like number two for you, right? Yeah, it's high for me because I want that, that really big win for me. I think it'll be lower for Winston because Winston just has traditionally just not been a fantastic four guy. If the trailer blows my mind, then maybe it'll go up, but I just don't care. Yeah, go pal. Steph and Mike had no opinion yesterday. Coy, Winston, how would you rank the Seattle big four? Oh yeah, yeah. They didn't, they didn't respond on
Starting point is 01:29:39 this one i did uh nirvana sound garden alison chains and pearl jam nirvana alison chains sound garden pearl jam or maybe pearl jam might go above soundguard yeah i'm gonna go nirvana alison chains pearl jam sand garden for me mine was pearl jim nirvana uh alison chain's sound sound garden um i would probably go nirvana and then pearl jam and i'm not familiar enough with sound garden alison chains i didn't i've heard the name that's that's what step said that's what step said B. Gill Studios. I personally loved Ryan Potter as Terry McGuinness as he played him in the short film Batman Beyond Year 1. He is so good in that film. I never saw it. You guys see it? I did not. But just taking a look at his look, his aesthetic, I can see that. Didn't he play. He was in Titans. I think he played. He was Beast Boy. He's Beast Boy Titans. Yeah. No, he's a good actor. I could see that. Armada.
Starting point is 01:30:39 Severance to Season 2 2 reactions on the way? No, are not going to be doing reactions to them because I just don't think enough people would tune into it to be completely honestly. They might do a review of the whole series, but reactions no. It's a great show, but
Starting point is 01:30:52 reactions no. I mean, I'm still trying to find the time to potentially do single squid game reactions, so I still have never seen them, so I'm going to probably do a full thing. I mean, like Sam's been coming in here, like almost every day. She's coming in
Starting point is 01:31:08 when this show's over, we're doing guardians next. I just kind of notice that that winter soldier is ready to go, so we're going to put that up on the channel tomorrow. And then Tuesday will be Guardians, and then Friday will be Avengers Age of Ultron. How many are you putting out per week, then?
Starting point is 01:31:24 Right now, two a week. We did three this week, but we're going to do two a week right now because Sam's schedule has been pretty good. So we're trying, I mean, the goal is definitely one a week, but if we shoot a whole bunch of them to the i want to i think it's ambitious to to get us all caught up by by captain america um brave new world but i think that we can get her caught up by by thunderbolts you can
Starting point is 01:31:51 definitely get her caught up by thunderbolts to do that by bravely world that's what four weeks i don't yeah it'd be it'd be tough it'd be tough i think we can get through phase three within the next two weeks um okay let's see next one is matt thomas again celebrating watson re-tearing his Achilles. I'm not going to celebrate someone tearing their Achilles, bro. But I, but I, but, but if this is
Starting point is 01:32:14 to be able to move on from his very ridiculous, not only scandals, but just bad play, then fine, but I'm not going to celebrate somebody tearing their Achilles. Now, Darren, Leslie Jr., Punisher versus Hulk, nobody bats an eye. Cap versus Hulk, everybody loses their minds.
Starting point is 01:32:30 Is that because people like Frank more than Sam? What do you think, boy? That is such a fun. way to phrase this exact question um you know i think people want frank castle so much that we're willing to like navigate whatever that looks like um this is fantastic i do worry about the amount of hulk they're making the marketing for cat four i'm really curious what that means that's not quite to answer your question but uh i do think people love john bernthal's frank castle we've got a lot more hours with him i do wonder about the hulk heavy cat four um matt thomas also winson go bucks horns down mofo
Starting point is 01:33:05 Ohio. Yeah, well, good luck with that. I mean, look, I won't lie. They are heavily favored to the curb stomps the longhorns, but we will genuinely see what happened because everybody thought Penn State had it in the bag and look where we are now. Name five people in the Dodgers. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:22 Christopher Rigaldo, and I am a firm believer. I am a firm believer in trial and error, but I believe my client is on trial and it's an error. I will give you guys two guesses of where that comes from. I know exactly where it comes from. Where that comes from Oh my God. I just forgot his name.
Starting point is 01:33:40 No, no, no, no. It was Finstock and he was in the trial of JTE. Wow. Wow. Wow. All right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:33:51 You proved me wrong. Yeah, that was the funniest thing Finstock to this day has ever said. I'm a firm believer. He goes, I'm a firm believer in trial and error. And I believe my client being on trial, it's an error. It was so good. It was so good. That is one of the best.
Starting point is 01:34:09 That still was one of the best things we ever did. Armada. Daredevil and Kingpin for Spitey 4, please. Scorpion 2. I do think Scorpion needs redemption. It's been a long time. They've been building up that storyline that hasn't come to pass. So I would love that.
Starting point is 01:34:23 C. Black. E. Olson, listed on Doomsday Castlist. Children's Crusade. I'm going to pretend that I know what that is, but I'm not going to say anything. I think we talked about this one. Elizabeth Olson is listed on Avengers Tuesday cast list. Got it. Oh, I see.
Starting point is 01:34:42 I see. Now I understand. Thank you, Winston. I think we talked about this a few months back. Or Winston, didn't we? Like,
Starting point is 01:34:47 this came up at some point. I think that's a possible storyline, but it's kind of a big storyline to squeeze into Doom's Day. I'm not sure how they're going to handle the downy of it all. So I'm not sure this would fit. The only way I could see that happening because we're talking about her being a reality warper, then you could see it in a sense of like she's still alive and Doom is like,
Starting point is 01:35:04 I can get you your kid. kids. And so then he's using her powers of manipulating her. And that's how we end up with all of these random characters that sort of don't make sense and or if you're bringing the Fantastic Four in before Secret Wars and all that, that may be where that's coming from. But again, I feel like Captain America Civil War, you're taking a truncated part of that story as your core. And that's what's going on there. But I'll say, go pal. Do the adjectives mean anything in X-Men titles, uncanny, astonishing, or is just to differentiate the runs? It's usually just to show the different runs. It's usually just to show the different
Starting point is 01:35:35 runs. It's like a, you know, the moniker that book goes by. Occasionally you'll have something cheeky where they like use that word in one of the stories and like establish it. But it's not like a public facing name. It's just so the comic is separate from another X-Men comic. Nerds Engage has been one of the main reasons. We have so many memberships right now and that is five more today that he's gifted. We have some live streams that are coming up. One of the things I'm going to try to get to today or at least over the weekend, I'm going to put together a few of the unedited reactions. just with time code.
Starting point is 01:36:06 So if you guys want to watch the full movies with me and Sam, you can do that on Patreon or on obviously in memberships. Thank you to Nerds and Gage who continuously builds up. Brooklyn, Vaya's bud is fully sold out. Kudos to you and us. I'm telling you, they better come back as a sponsor this year. I'll tell you that.
Starting point is 01:36:25 I think most people know who knew about Viya before this show. And, you know, I'm sure that I'm sure there's a lot of people going great. I got nothing done. All right. Joey Pedrus, would love a recommendation for the most wholesome Superman comic story you could think of with a little edge. Look at this. All-Star Superman, man.
Starting point is 01:36:45 I think that whole, the suicide moment with the goth girl that you'll see that image of is from All-Star Superman. Very wholesome. But there's an edge to it, especially with the arc. And then I think the one I always talk about in regard to the movie, like Superman for all seasons is almost pure wholesome. But those two are kind of what you're describing. Follow up here. Mirjum, Serenity Moon. What a cute cat.
Starting point is 01:37:05 And I would like to say I love your enthusiasm and positive attitude. Coy, keep that up and glad you're all safe. Do you know why that is? Because Coy has stayed off Twitter recently. It's been nice. I just post links and leave like Christian. You don't seem as riled up as you have in the past. I'm trying to sleep a full seven hours and I'm off Twitter.
Starting point is 01:37:24 Two magical things. Yep, it's the best. I don't know. I'd never check that shit hole to say. Live action is the superior media. Cartoons are all right. I'm just playing. yeah i know people are it's just because the comment section has become a a battleground between
Starting point is 01:37:42 live action and animation um with my with my kid who animation is for and only for that's fight in words uh matthew garrett and he's like you know he's laughing his ass off right now is ever reading those matthew garrett if winston says kiki for rogue then sidney swiney for storm for fuck's sake can we can't we can we just have the comics adapted for some reason pascal shouldn't be richards well now i see i don't necessarily believe that with the pascal side of it too because pascal like i said they're dependent like we've had this debate a million times over we were all three of us were on the same page there was a rumor about kevin fogie saying the reason why they cast pedro pascal at first the rumor never been confirmed was that because he said oh the cast is too white we can't we can't have a
Starting point is 01:38:31 full white cast. If that is what happened, that's fucking bullshit. Then that's bullshit. If he cast Pedro Petro-Petal because of that, we all agree that's bullshit. But it's Pedro Piscal. The chances are, it's like, hey, Pedro just turned in with this role, this audition, or we just tape, we just saw this, or we just
Starting point is 01:38:50 had this idea. We went out to Pedro because we think he'd be really good at it. And he's going to nail it for what we want or we're looking for. He's going to play this role that so-and-so wrote. Then it's Pedro Vascal. him up. So I don't agree with the Pedro Pescal side of it. Winston, I'll let you speak for the other ones. I mean, look, here's the thing that I think, you got real hot right there for over something not that serious. Here's the big difference between Kiki playing Road and Sidney-Petelyne potentially playing Storm. The main element of rogue's character that is paramount is her being the Southern
Starting point is 01:39:26 Bell, et cetera. That is it. It's not her race. It is the region of which she's from. Storm is a black woman from Africa. Those are two very, that her race is paramount to her character. Those are two very different comparisons. Nice try though. I do appreciate you trying to come into the ring, baby. He has been in the chat for like an hour embarrassing himself.
Starting point is 01:39:47 And I'm pretty sure I take up more of a mental real estate than the girl in his photo. So he's just a sad person. I'm glad we could give him some tension. Levi, 10. Thoughts on the Babylon Skull recasting for Assoc personally love it. Also, really hoping for the quarter of, of alas and batman two the way riddler was reinvented the owls could really be frightening i'll let you guys talk about that the other one like i said i heard about this six days ago and i was like oh that's good
Starting point is 01:40:10 the we're having you know this dude replacing um the great ray stevens was just it was perfect i think he'll play balon really really good and that's what you've been bail on not pay blah but um forget freeze forget clay face give me the court of owls it would be absolutely terrifying And if you literally like it was said, by having the Ridler be so daunting already for Batman in that first movie, now you're going to give him an entire like Illuminati that he has to deal with. And they've trained like assassins almost as deadly as he is. Oh, give me that all day. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:49 Yeah, I think it fits the world really well. And I think like, you know, Matthew has been talking about the surprise element. And a lot of people don't know the Cord of Al. So it would be really cool. Like there's been something underneath society this whole time storyline. then Court of Alas is going to be dope if that happens. Evil John Madden, I'm not reading that. You can get a refund if you want.
Starting point is 01:41:08 Not reading it. So next one is live action, the Superior Media. I thought I was a douche, but Matthew for the win. So yeah, this is like from 20 minutes ago. That guy's just going to hold himself all this. Ballsy. Hey, guys, I'm curious why the public opinion on Spider-Man 4 is that he should be on his own, while everyone's happy to see Superman interact with multiple heroes.
Starting point is 01:41:31 I don't think everybody is okay with that because we haven't seen the movie, right? This is this first movie. Everybody said the same thing, man, that we want to see Superman, the story focus on Superman. Having other heroes that are going to forward the universe, sure, but I would like it to be more of a personal Superman story. The trailer to me felt like a Superman story. Yeah, it did. It lived in a world where heroes existed. And I think that's the difference between like, I have less of an issue with Iron Man being in Homecoming as a way to bring him in.
Starting point is 01:42:01 in than every single movie having to have other heroes. I think the issue is the cumulative effect of every movie versus the one. Establish that there's heroes, that's one thing. But having Doctor Strange and No Way Home is a little different for me. I have to read this because it's funny. Sam Thomas, sure, Christian, and that's why Florence Pugh is on your honorable mentions. Whoops, I mean Thunderballs. Pete Parker 2288.
Starting point is 01:42:26 Oh, yeah. Finish this and then I have a Florence Pugh thing. Okay. Christian, you love Punisher comics. You've got to watch at least the first season of that show. It's really great. I know I hear good things. I hear that Punisher is pretty damn good.
Starting point is 01:42:38 I got to watch it. I know. What's Florence Pugh? I finally watched Midsummer. I had no desire because I don't mess with the horror movies. I was not scary at all. It was just disturbing, right? It's disturbing.
Starting point is 01:42:52 It's not scary. Because like the minute someone's like, hey man, you want to come and meet all these random people out of nowhere, do drugs. in the way hell no take my black ass home well you can say that she's I guess I guess she could
Starting point is 01:43:09 but I mean you know you're gonna get canceled you could also do you like hell no I got kids that's right that's right Pete Parker 22 you know who could say it Winston I think you know hell no
Starting point is 01:43:22 there that I can be fucking I don't want no blonde girl well You also don't want to do that bear, man. Oh, yeah. Oh, it's a big bear? Oh, I had a bear one time. We had a bear of a time, put honey on her tits.
Starting point is 01:43:39 Good Lord. Come on. Come on, big balls. Come on. Hold it together. Good Lord. Look, boy. Stay and safe.
Starting point is 01:43:51 Over here. I got a good job. He's like, you know what I'm going to do? Be quiet. Stay right here. This is the one that D.C. turns into. Perfect. And you know what they did? And they put big balls in the next picture. He made the Justice League. Yeah. 100%. Edit the movies. Hey, Winston.
Starting point is 01:44:10 What, did we? I don't think we read it out loud. Oh, no, we didn't. Thank you. Pete Parker, 288. Thank you. Amazon has three for a 33, 4K Blu-ray deal going on right now. I got Superman the movie, Purple Rain and Mask of Fantasm. Also, Winston, season one rivals today. I was so excited about that. I almost. forgot the other thing that I needed to plug what we were going to do at the end, but I probably won't stream rivals today. I will stream it tomorrow, but I'll tell you what I'm doing later today. That's great. That's a great deal on 4-gates. It's a great deal. That is great. There we go. Edit the movies. Hey, Winston-Aikoy, just happy. You two are safe. I'm loving all the love. Really, okay. 86, guys, 86. Come on. We're so close, baby.
Starting point is 01:44:51 You're not bad. You're not bad. About 25 beaten Roka and Dan. But in order to get that Star Wars scoop, we got to get to 130. What are they at 104? What did they get? Right now, they had 110. 110, got it. Yeah. Balzy, I'll follow up to my question.
Starting point is 01:45:10 Do you think it's a difference of Superman not being established yet compared to Spidey? Yes, I do. 100%. I mean, that's kind of what we said beforehand, too, but yes. Haskell. Hey, gang, I'm glad you're okay. I loved watching. Koi, wait, wait, okay, loved Koi watching Escape from New York and Big Trouble
Starting point is 01:45:25 and Little China for the first time. I didn't realize how many holes do you. had in your game everything pre like definitely pre 70s but yeah 80s is is kind of like it's nice because there's a lot of them that i that i saw that popped up with you in the thumbnail like really quite ever saw that i don't want to miss new movies so i'm trying to find all of the iconic movies of you know before i was born and that's that was amazing had a great time great hashtag snake hashtag predator sask squash hashtag jack burton such a good movie i love that movie okay let's see p parker 228 this is the so this he's the he's
Starting point is 01:45:59 Breaking balls, obviously. Christian, you obviously hate Star Wars. Why? So funny, it's like, because you know, when you have, you have an opinion on where, like you said, when you're, Winston, you're Cowboys fan. How'd you like, how'd you like their season this year? Oh, they were dog shit.
Starting point is 01:46:12 Right. Does that mean that you hate the Cowboys? No, they were dog shit. That's, that's an objective. That's an objective facts. Did it, so, okay, skeleton group. Did the Cowboys have at least one good game this year? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:28 Right. Did you like why? watching that game? I loved watching that game. If anything, did it because you hope that the season was going to get better and they were going to win a championship? What it did is because I go, I know what you're capable of and this is what you decided to do. Right. And do you think, but, but did you think that with that leadership they could win a championship? Yeah. You did after the season? Right. Right. So there, so there you go. I just, I've just answered through the Cowboys or something I never thought. That was awful. Yeah. Buster Barnes. I don't think that Brendan Snar's age matters. too much if they begin filming now. Not an insult, but the guy looks like he could be in his 40s.
Starting point is 01:47:03 It's because of the beard. The question is they're going to keep the beard on them. I don't know if they're going to keep the beard on them. The beard adds some age to it. You take the beard off. I don't know. PLD projects. Skeleton crew report was from the premiere, but the other reports are that it has grown across the holidays. Yeah, but not, not, keep reading it. Still, the overall, the overall, week to week, some people tuned in a little bit more, but it's, it's eaten, it's eaten dog shit.
Starting point is 01:47:30 I love PLDs about as positive as it gets, and he wants Star Wars to succeed, but it's, it's, it's, it's just not. People don't like it anymore. It's the number, it's the number five tier out of three. Michael Garrett, no one, I gotta get rid of this guy.
Starting point is 01:47:47 I've had enough. I've had enough. I just, I see, I see more responding about him. I blocked him. I've, I want to do with them. Yeah, no, I just, no more. Stop this.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Again, get a refund. PLD projects. Looking forward to Huntington in 2025, Glenn Powell, Margaret Qualey, Ed Harris, Jessica Henwick, Tofer Grace. I mean, that's a hell of a cast. Loving that cast. I've not heard of this, but I'll check it out. Love that cast.
Starting point is 01:48:14 Yeah, I mean, that's solid. C Black. Thoughts on Fantastic Four score by Jekino. I mean, that very? Yeah, we got the like the four minute thing and it was pretty great. Yeah. Okay, this one, so this one isn't bad. So I'll read it.
Starting point is 01:48:31 Just make Spider-Man 94 series live action. I mean, okay. Yeah, I mean, there was nothing wrong with that comments. Do more of those, Matthew Garrett. Come on, stop causing shit. Buster Barnes, over under 50% that Batman is in the Clayface movie. I think it'll be kind of like the creature commandos thing where it could be, right? like where it's like a moment if we you know i i think that's the world building versus movie building
Starting point is 01:48:57 like they're building a whole universe hmm yeah maybe so uh i i don't know i you know it's it's just so true hard to say because it's so early right now truly we haven't seen the first movie yet pld projects and yes i'm here to beat roca joe ballerie menino very glad winston and coyer are safe me too me too nerds engaged love live action teased before secret wars? Maybe. Potentially. Do you think they could potentially debut
Starting point is 01:49:27 him in Spider-Man 4? I honestly don't think it's a bad idea to do it. You might as well, man. There's nothing, there's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. I think Secret Wars could be a cool way to launch a lot of things, and that'd be one big one for Sony, especially. Armada, Lisa Ann and in the DCU?
Starting point is 01:49:44 Sure. Why not? Do I know? If you know, She works with Sarah J. I knew Winston would know how much. Okay, you don't be you don't be Abbott Elementary Lisa and Walter, right?
Starting point is 01:50:06 You're talking about, oh Lord. Lee Lisa Ann. Oh, God. Mary McGinnis, that is Bruce, is what Matthew Garrett says. again, if I can't read all this stuff out, because you're not giving me the chance to and you're making this hard for yourself. Nerds Engage. Rating for Tom Petty,
Starting point is 01:50:27 Doors, Led Zeppelin, ACDC. I'm going to go, this is easy for me. Doors, Tom Petty, ACDC, Led Zeppelin. Petty, ACDC, Doors, Zeppelin. D.C., Zeppelin, doors, petty. Oh, poor Petty. And then this is Armada. Will Andrew Schultz go to the Super Bowl this year?
Starting point is 01:50:55 That's a good question. Because he started with Kendrick. Yeah. Well, this came. Good question. What is his team? But he's in New York. He's from New York, right?
Starting point is 01:51:05 He's not going to, he doesn't have a team there. Why would he go? Only because maybe. For the beefs? Nah. Well, who doesn't necessarily want to go to the Super Bowl? He might have just want to go. That died down fast, didn't it?
Starting point is 01:51:17 within like two to three weeks yeah i'm pretty bad see black percentage on bruce banners showing up in cap four i think you kind of have to have him show up no there's a lot of hulk there's a lot of hulk you got to you got to do it you got to have him wouldn't you want to see him at the end show up or something armada curious for the amateur movie with rami mellick um i don't know enough about it but i heard some stuff heard some stuff that's all it looks cool it's not like super high My list, but it's on my list. Yeah. Spoon-Tastick, 95.
Starting point is 01:51:51 Any update on Matt Damon biopic? I think too soon. Is there, was there going to be a Matt Damon biopic? I just don't understand in doing a biopic. That can't be real. Actively working? That can't be real. Can you look at that?
Starting point is 01:52:04 Somebody, Winston or Coy, just see if that's actually true. Give me a second. I can't be real. Matt, Matt Thomas, just wanted to shout out Stuckman's Shelby Oaks. Is that coming out this year? Is that a very? already shot I don't know about that and I don't see anything Matt Damon I think he was okay it's called RIP everything we know about the Matt Damon Ben Affleck Netflix movie
Starting point is 01:52:27 no that's that was something else that was they were supposed to do Hulk Hogan biopic interesting maybe that's what it was maybe that's what it was like a crime filler but I don't crime thriller but I don't see anything about Levi I heard a rumor that James Wan is directing Teenage Muti Ninja Turtles last Ronan could be something special also yes stay off Twitter James Wan doing a teenage me ninja turtles sign me up for that that'd be great I'm in the bet if that's real good yeah I'd love that uh spoontastic Robert Downey syndrome has Dr. Doomlittle
Starting point is 01:53:02 well hull is going on anymore Eric Kirby Winston your picks for the playoffs this weekend okay let me let me remember the the actual stuff yeah because I got to remember what the schedule is let me look at the bracket Um, okay, so, uh, I think that you're going to end up, honestly, the bills will win. I think that's easy. I think the Ravens will beat the Steelers and Steelers haven't been doing too great. I actually think the chargers will upset the Texans, though that's not a crazy upset.
Starting point is 01:53:32 Uh, I think the, I think the Vikings will beat the Rams, especially because it's not a true home game anymore. They had to move it to Arizona because of the fires. Um, I think the commanders pull the upset, uh, on the, um, I think the commanders pull the upset, uh, on the, um, road and then this is wild but i'm actually going to say that the packers pull the upset on the eagles both because i'm pissed off i didn't let's take one at the record but more importantly because jalen hurts having been in that concussion protocol for two three weeks um i think that will have more of an effect than we realize uh but i mean that that that's going to be the most interesting
Starting point is 01:54:05 game this weekend is the eagles and the packers we shall see joey peddress ever watched demon wain's blankman was a favorite as a kid i guess yeah of course that movie is hilarious It would never get made today. Ever. That's hilarious. PLD projects. Hear me out. Ed Harris is Storm.
Starting point is 01:54:25 Sure. Why not? Okay. I actually would rock with that for some reason, just to see me old these head explode. Yeah, you just put them in every, you put them in every role.
Starting point is 01:54:36 The weather goddess Ed Harris. Hold on. Hold on. It's Ed Harris as Storm. And then it's Paul G. Amadius, the new Tachala. and that's the love. There you go.
Starting point is 01:54:47 Done. Done. Forever. Shay Mobile. Glad everyone is safe. Do you think Superman being sandwich between Jurassic and Fantastic
Starting point is 01:54:57 Four is going to change? I imagine Warner Bros. would want a two-week solo runway. No, I think if anybody's going to move, it's going to be Fantastic Four. I don't think Superman's going to add to it. Superman will have enough two weeks in between.
Starting point is 01:55:08 It's a summer movie. So two weeks is enough time to get in between. It's fantastic four. Fantastic Four wants, depending on what kind of box office Superman's going to have they might want to move i would also argue that it is probably the only three movies it feels like are the most anticipated of the year are superman avatar to and wicked to and i think superman's kind of got the crown there just because it's
Starting point is 01:55:33 the the newest king on the block so i don't i don't think they're scared of anything um matt thomas come on we want that scoop donate people how we doing Well, I'll tell you this. When, if you guys beat Roka and Dan, then Big Balls will do a song for you guys. How about that? Okay. All right. Is that work?
Starting point is 01:55:54 All right. Yeah, that works. Oh, yeah. New one. That's right. Here I go. Oh, yeah. I'm wearing my Christian hot off shirt to do this one.
Starting point is 01:56:09 Ooh. These mother F beat Roka. Yeah. They beat Roka. Outlaw. Look, a fucking. They beat Mike. He went out too fast.
Starting point is 01:56:22 Boy and Winston, they won again. They want to beat over a hundred and ten. Who, sunglasses, yeah. Come on, spider, lick my what. Hey, go. Come on, everybody. Donate a little more. You get that Star Wars. Scoop, you poopers. Let go.
Starting point is 01:56:44 Irvie, yep. So there you go, guys. You, uh, you did it. You beat 1.14 right now. Thank you to each and everybody, no matter what you sent for getting it. So within 15 minutes, within 15 minutes, if you guys can get to 1.30, um, we'll get that, that Star Wars scoop. So there you go.
Starting point is 01:57:04 And there's a lot of, there's a lot of different ones. So, um, I've got, I've got a couple. I'm going to give, I'll give depending on what we hit if we get it. Nerds engage. Keep spirits up, guys. Glad you're safe. Well, they're happy now. The spirits are up.
Starting point is 01:57:17 They just won. Spoonastic, 95. You see the news of a Matthew Garrett, LGBT, BT biopic. That's hilarious. Hilarious. All right. Next one. And this is Jenny Lynn.
Starting point is 01:57:31 Thank you, Jenny. Super sticker. Throwing it in there. Go pal. More support there. Stephanie Litts. Reboot Red Sonia or Zena. Chick with swords.
Starting point is 01:57:40 They were supposed to do Red Sonia. So I'm going to say Red Sonia. I think Red Sonia because it's comic book also, isn't it? I think that one could happen. That was in direction for a while. Yeah, a little more for GoPal putting the numbers in near mirror domains. Where will She-Hulk appear again? I like the show.
Starting point is 01:57:57 They didn't like the show at all, but I think I still like her. I like Tatiana Mislani a lot. I think she was really good in the role. I would like to see her play a different version of that character. She should probably show up in one of the Avengers movies. If not, we don't know the story of Doomsday yet. She will definitely be in Secret Wars, I would argue, but it just depends on how, what's going.
Starting point is 01:58:15 on in Doomsday. Yeah. Um, okay. Armada, did you all see the Killian Murphy movie last week, last year? Which one? Oh, yeah, it's great. It's, um, it's like a small little indie he did following up Oppenheimer about like the, uh, the church in Ireland and any movie that warns people about the danger of the church.
Starting point is 01:58:32 Um, okay, next one is Tia Foster. Hey, guys, happy, okay. Thank you, Tia. It's very generous and very nice. Thank you. Nerds engage. Throwing some support in there. And then go pal.
Starting point is 01:58:44 Have you heard anything about the new sports? I didn't even know there was one. You guys? Nothing? No. Nerds engage. Thank you. May Day.
Starting point is 01:58:55 I need that audio. Matt Thomas. Yes, Shelby Oaks is this year. Enjoy talking to him about it. Screenings. Dude, is a gem. You should get him on for it. I mean, yeah. I mean, if it comes closer, I'll reach out to him. I haven't talked to Chris in a while. We used to talk quite often, but I haven't talked to him in a long time. Okay. Let's see. This is the next one.
Starting point is 01:59:15 Spoonastic 95 are you guys seen endgame if so what's your thoughts that I think I'm trying to get us over the edge and throwing stuff in so I It's actually my number one in the MCU Wow Yeah wow I don't have to check that up man Sounds pretty good end game yeah it's pretty damn good I heard of it I should I think you should try see it with
Starting point is 01:59:38 Go pal I love that show back in the day and it was so sad about Andy Whitfield which one what's always you talking about shoot not sure we're trying to we lost this is the we lost it um evil john madden i'm sorry please don't ban me i didn't ban you just got to be you just got to be uh you got to be careful with what you're saying um code man one two three four four three four any hype for the kendrick and south park creators directing movie also please read the movie dis on i mdb well i know i don't know anything about that the the kendrick and the duo the south park guys are making a movie like next for next summer that's hilarious yeah i'd say it i couldn't remember what the what the uh the storyline
Starting point is 02:00:18 was but it was something ridiculous and i cannot wait for it okay uh p parker 2288 sweeney over prime julia roberts no question who who is i'm with sidney crazy talk respect to the disagree yeah just crazy talk that's yeah no thanks amps. Fight for your right guitar riff. 100%. 120, guys. 120. We really, y'all want that Star Wars school. Come on, baby. Big buster. Paul Giamatti is DCU Batman? I think Winston would agree with me on this.
Starting point is 02:00:58 Absolutely. Who are you? I'm Batman. I'm like that. I'm right. And motherfucking Batman. But it's the blue and gray because he's in blue face, like a Franklin You guys. Where's Robin? Matt Thomas.
Starting point is 02:01:16 Anyone checking out better man? Very Rocket Man-esque. I got to, I mean, it's on my app. I got to watch it. I was supposed to go to the premiere, but the world caught on fire. Yeah. Go, pal. 30 years later, I still think pig vomit whenever
Starting point is 02:01:30 Giamatti comes up. I know. I know. To his credit, though, he still, he thanks Stern. If he won the Oscar, he was going to thank Stern at the Oscars. And he just didn't win the Oscars. which was bullshit.
Starting point is 02:01:44 Go Pal. Did you hear Giuse Dad is the one who banned Pete Rose for life? Yeah. Yeah, he was, Bart Giamati was the commissioner of baseball. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:53 I had no idea. Yeah. Yep, he did. And Ken Kaiser was an umpire, the father of John Kaiser. Yep, that's right. Eric Kirby, Den of Thieves 2 review from any of you guys.
Starting point is 02:02:08 No, so I was going to see it last. Here's the, I had a screening last night. for a was so backed up with stuff that I was working on here and B I never got a chance to see the first one so yeah I got to so I got to see I think that I it might be one of those ones that I maybe just give a shot at doing reactions for both of them back to back and see if anybody cares but I do want I do want to see them um okay DUI champ we should remember that Joel Schumacher changed 89 Batman from a gritty gothic tone to silly camp that went over like
Starting point is 02:02:42 turd in a in your soup bowl seems like it could happen again to patinson's batman i mean again that's why i'm just like just just keep them separate but i think we got to remember that that wasn't entirely all schumacher as much as it was the studio being like yo we want to sell toys so go ahead and make all of the stuff you can to macdonald's crossovers and all of that so yeah Alex Ruellis. Favorite Star Wars character? Palpatine. Hans Solo.
Starting point is 02:03:17 Mace Window. Oh, Boba Fett before the book of Boba Fett. Okay. Jody. Jalen Turner. When do we feel the Fantastic Four trailer will drop and what's your excitement? I'm interested is the answer to that question. I think either right after Super Bowl or Super Bowl. I think Super Bowl. I'm with you. Okay, DUI Champ.
Starting point is 02:03:42 I'm afraid gun sensibilities are closer to Schumacher than they are Tim Burton. Schumacher is such a good director. I hate that there's so much Schumacher that's incredible, but the studio interference is a mess. That's 100% what it was because you're absolutely right. He did Lost Boys. He did phone booth. He did tons of great stuff, but he was told to do that.
Starting point is 02:04:04 He was told to do that. He was told to do that. Which is a good blend of gossip. He was told to do that movie the way that you saw it. And he did it. I'm a friend of my boy Schumacher here. Me too. Yeah, me too.
Starting point is 02:04:17 There's a phone booth-esque movie that's about to come out this year. I can't remember what the name of it is, though. Think about it. Tat Ronan, 91-1. Have you heard of the David Cornswit movie directed by James Gunn? Uber Man. Yes, Uber Man. Yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 02:04:33 Jenny Lynn Lawson, glad you're safe. Thank you, Jenny. Spoon-tastic, just a quick one. What are your top 40 MCU character? Spoon-Tasic is killing it today. With the jokes. I'll put number, I'll put number one. I mean, the more and more I watch it, I mean,
Starting point is 02:04:49 it's hard not to say Iron Man. It really is. He's so great. Swamp Crotch. I'm smoking, I just realized what it was. It was, it was, came out during Christmas. Carry on had like phone booth. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 02:05:03 You know what I mean? Yeah. Swamp Crotch. Have you guys ever seen Empire Strikes fact is a huge twist. Jalen Turner, since Christian said Endgame, what's your number one MCU film? There you go. Winter Soldier at No Way Home. It depends on my mood.
Starting point is 02:05:19 Dude, we just watched Winter Soldier and I said it's coming up for Saturday. It's like, it's so great. Like Sam, Sam loved it. She loved it. It's incredible how good and it's so good. It really is. It's pretty great. I would say four-way tie or my Mount Rushmore of Winter Soldier, Infinity War, End Game, and Black Panther.
Starting point is 02:05:37 Um, page chowdry glad you're all safe. Thank you, Paige. Joey Pedges, who would you actually cast J.Madi as in the DCU? Simon Stagg. Commissioner Gordon. Commissioner Gordon. Both would be good. I would rock with either one of those or maybe the main talking piece for the court of owls.
Starting point is 02:05:57 Like if, if, but that's not DCU, I guess it'd be more Matt Reeves. But if you wanted to put him in there, I think that would work. PLD, I might make a mother fucking Batman as Christian's ring to talk. Please, please do. Alex, kind of feel bad for whoever the DCU Batman is because Patinson is perfect casting. He can essentially play any direction to the character. You go in. Yeah, but the same could have been said about David Corrin Sweat, too, because it was good. Henry Cabell was going to be tough boots to fill. And I think he's done it so far. And I think that's why you make it a very different Batman. So it does feel completely different than it's taken. Yeah. We have a couple left, but we did hit 134. So I'll give, I'm going to give you one of the two of the scoops. And, we'll see if people actually pick it up because they're pretty they're pretty big so it's not Jeff Snyder and wrote a movie again man um so this is for Soca season two soca season two was obviously the like as I mentioned to
Starting point is 02:06:51 I had the other day that um that that what do you call it um shit Rory McCann was going to be in it and I didn't I sat on it because I was because it was I didn't want to put it out yet um And Roka got it. I mean, Snyder got it. So I think a lot of people kind of thought this. But Hayden Christensen has a pretty big role in season two. Ariana Greenblatt going to return as a young Asoka.
Starting point is 02:07:23 But I think the big news is that Ewan McGregor is going to be in it, too. That's the big news. Hey, yo. Yeah. So pretty exciting. Pretty exciting. And there's another one that I'll, I think I'm going to drop on Monday. So that's pretty that's pretty awesome. Pretty awesome. You about to set the internet on fire,
Starting point is 02:07:40 boy. We'll see. It's the end of the show and we'll say and Snyder's not doing it so they probably won't even pick it up. So that's why that's why I dropped this for the audience. Um, so let's go for Tatch Ronan 91st favorite character in 127 hours. The Boulder. The Bulls. Yeah, the Rocks. Yeah. Marcus M. in defensive Schumacher, Batman Forever was good. I enjoy Batman forever. We did our rewit. I would say go back and watch our rewatches on that too. Paige Chaudry, if this is bad, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 02:08:11 Who would you all cast for all black cast for Fantastic Four? I like the Michael B. Jordan cast. Same. I don't think he was perfect. I thought he was just a bad movie. Idriselba is Reed. Yes. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 02:08:28 Yes. Two Storm. Man, Sue Storm, back in the day, Vivica A Fox. I like that. Back in the day. La Peter Nuongo. And Bing Rames is the thing. Is the thing, yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:47 Lupine Young is perfect. How to go. Yeah. Paul Hitchcock, Rob Zombie for Clayface, but leave in the effing. So that's from, that's from the thing that Brett and I did on, on Munsters. said that that trailer for the monsters looked like a porn without the fucking i forgot about that pld projects following winston's logic giamati is gordon harris and sarah s and sarah s and what am i forget i don't know i'm not sure i'm missing it i'm missing it
Starting point is 02:09:23 um yep let's see next one is ewan mcgregor oh so let's see eun mcgregor passed away How are you talking about? Pat, Matt Thomas, if we hit 150, can we get both? Now, because we're about to, we're about to get out here to. And the, the, the second one's too big for, for 150. We're going to do a whole, we think we'll do a whole show on that one. So, 136, what an appearance. I think it's probably the second one. The only other one that I think we hit 200 one time with, with, with Stefan Roka at one point.
Starting point is 02:09:58 But 136, the guys come in, coming in. and knocking it down at 136. So thank you guys for being here today. Thank you for the audience for donating. So, Koi, where can they find you? Find me at Koi Jondra. Right here on this app. Lots and lots of stuff coming up.
Starting point is 02:10:14 Probably next week. I'm going to get back to the world. But yeah, lots of stuff coming. Find me over there. Wow, a huge super chat at the end there. Apologies for the jokes. Goodell. Your jokes were hilarious.
Starting point is 02:10:25 Levi Second Rumor, Paul Giamati cast in Asoka Season 2. And Winston, how about yourself? You can find me at Swaggy Blur. on all platforms. Definitely come over to YouTube and Twitch to hang out and play some Marvel rivals. And the thing I was going to mention tonight, if you were in the Los Angeles area, you need a little bit of relief from everything that's been going on.
