Starting point is 00:00:32 produced in partnership with Skyvon Entertainment. Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, sorry, Brett. Were you trying to say something? Oh, you're muted. Brett Sharon and muted?
Starting point is 00:01:05 Oh. Brett Shiret posting today. Sorry, Brett. Carl, you should read emails. Ladies and gentlemen, nice to see everybody here. On Outdown Entertainment Network. I'm Christian Barlow. Ed.
Starting point is 00:01:17 You're very excited to have you. Joining us here today on this Wednesday, last day of March. Holy crap, it's almost April. On the panel here today, the manager of swag. Swaggest bird of the mall. He is Winston Marshall.
Starting point is 00:01:35 What up, Winston. Top that merch case shaking the head because she ain't think to go ahead and plug her seat. I think Winston knows that it's on camera. Oh, Winston, you're on the air. Do you not hear me? No, I thought you were, I thought you were, I thought you just had a camera on you.
Starting point is 00:01:51 That's how you normally just act in the morning. I mean, that's exactly how I'd be like, that's what I'm saying. Alex Marzonia, he's doing something. He's here. He's got a great hair. It's phenomenal hair. People should comment on it more.
Starting point is 00:02:05 No one's commented on it. Alex, I just commented on it. Thank you. Uh, Kate Mulligan, the wonderful Pauligan from the den. How soon until Brett texts me to please close one of my windows because it's OCD, you go out of control?
Starting point is 00:02:22 Uh, how soon? What's the over under? I think he was in the middle of it. And only Brett can pull off that shirt. That shirt, I'll tell you why. Because normally it's like a, it's like kind of like a dull mustard, but for you, it pops. It works for you, Brett.
Starting point is 00:02:36 It really does. Oh, heck, a mustard colored v. Neck. Boom, JC Penny. Nice. Killing it. Right? I got rhymes. You're going to do some straight mish tonight. Do some donated $20. Kior. Since I sadly cannot watch today's show due to a lot of things on my plate to get through,
Starting point is 00:02:56 I want to say thank you, Ryan Jamal Nilsson for your memorable time on SCN Live, and I wish you best of luck in your new job. You're always family here. Yes, Jesus. And thank you for doing what I was just about to do. that is introducing, unfortunately, for the last time as the engineer on the show. Ryan Nielsen is here. Hello, Ryan. Ryan, how are you? Gave himself his own drum roll. I know, I own drum roll. You should. I'm doing it. This is so bittersweet. This is so sad. I know it is.
Starting point is 00:03:29 But I have an idea what I want to do, and I do not pitch us to you because I don't do that. You know that I usually always throw things at you, so you're just kind of... What could go wrong? No, what could go wrong? Here's my... First of all, I think that for today's show and today's Donated $51, donated $52. Right off the bat, here we go. Donated $53, donated $54, denated $55, donated $56, donated $57, donated $58, donated $59. This person's a genius.
Starting point is 00:03:57 By Jamal, donated $60, donated $61, donated $62. Donated $623, donated $64, donated $65. All right. Yeah, he really donated $50. too, so thank you for that. Well, that's still, oh, that's good. I always think it's like, then it ends up being two bucks. If that's the case when that happens, and we should teach and we're going to introduce
Starting point is 00:04:20 or tell us, tell you guys about our new engineer in just a moment, but we should tell, we should obviously let our new engineer know that when these things come in, if there is a possibility, if this goes on like that, you can cut those. You can cut them, but that, but that one, no, no, no, no, not. I'm not saying that we should have let that one play out. That was a funny bit, but if it keeps going on. But here's what we're going to do. We are going to just do the Schmobots today.
Starting point is 00:04:50 We're just doing Schmobots today. So make sure that if you want to say goodbye to Ryan, do that. And what I'm going to do at 1130, if we have reached $1,000 in donations, I'm going to let Ryan host the show from 1130 to 12 o'clock. 30 minutes. 30 minute host. If Ryan, if we can get, I'll tell you what, if we get to, if we get to a thousand before, before that, then Ryan, now 1130 is good.
Starting point is 00:05:18 If we get to, if we get to, if we get to, if we get to, if we get to, how about this? We get to 1500, he can do 11, but 11, but, but we'll give me half an hour if we hit a thousand today. If we do that. And Ryan can host, whatever he wants, do whatever he wants. It'll be his show to host from 1130 to 12 on his last, very last show. And that's why we're only going to do SchmoBots today. So we can also talk about the news and everything else going on.
Starting point is 00:05:41 So, and a quick, a quick introduction also to let everybody know. We were on the hunt. We were on the hunt because we're like, well, who in the world is going to be able to take over for Ryan? Great Courtney, Luby over at Skybound had suggested Malcolm. Malcolm is here shadowing today. And we're going to introduce Malcolm tomorrow on the show. So I just want to let everybody know. And be nice to Mel.
Starting point is 00:06:08 It's learning. James Slaverio donated $100. Wow. Thank you so long, Ryan. You filled some legendary shoes coming in to replace R.B3. You join the long running line of awesome, talented people that have been found by Christian and other Shmiverse people. Jamal for host. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Absolutely. It was very nice. Thank you. Appreciate it. And yeah. So once again, the goal today is when we hit a thousand, Ryan will host from 1130. if we had 1,500 by 11, and Ryan will host that. But Malcolm will be taking over.
Starting point is 00:06:42 We thank Malcolm was very, I mean, he was, Malcolm was thrown into this very, very quickly. So we are, we're going to be very excited to introduce him to you guys tomorrow when Brett hosts a show. So what a first show for Malcolm. Yeah. I think Dwayne will be helping tomorrow as well. Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Yeah. Good, good, good. All right. Let's get into, let's get into this story. Yeah, what happened? Kate's just in and out. Blacks. Story of our life.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Let's get, let's get to, uh, I forgot what doing shows of Christian is like, it's been a while. She's going to, uh, shoot,
Starting point is 00:07:24 she would say the same thing. I let's get to, let's get to the first story. This is, I think we're going to be on, some of us might be on different pages. I don't know. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Let's, let's, let's, let's, let's get to the, let's get to the story. So, Sylvester Stallone teased on his Instagram that he's working on a prequel series to the original Rocky films. In the past, in the post, he hopes for a 10-episode run and potentially more seasons on a streaming service. Christian, would you want to see a prequel series?
Starting point is 00:07:49 And should Ryan start bulk enough to play Young Rocky? The last question is absolutely not. But the everything else. So my buddy David Gambino, who you guys know. It's childish Gambino. I know. So David Rogen donated $50. Oh, look at shows up at work when there is a rocky topic. Ryan will miss you, man. Much respect.
Starting point is 00:08:16 You know, you're talking about it. This was announced, or not announced, but on his Instagram yesterday, and David wrote me and he's like, look at this thing. And I'm like, I don't know if I'm excited about this. because it's the main reason, the main reason, not because I don't want to see a Rocky prequel series. I think that there could be some interesting stuff inside of that time period and things to explore and understanding of the potential that he had and what he was going to do in his relationship with Pauly
Starting point is 00:08:46 and all the things that they were going to do kind of leading up to his, because Mickey even said he had all this potential and you threw it away because of the kind of path you went down to see that would be interesting. I don't think it's the same, reason I was so skeptical about having someone else play Han Solo. I just can't see anyone else playing Rocky. It was cool to see the Creed story happen because Creed to me was, um, was very different
Starting point is 00:09:16 not a new character. I would actually, and I thought about this years ago, an Apollo series, a young Apollo because Apollo's, Carl Weathers was fantastic and his Apollo Creed. Trash Panda donated $20. Farewell Ryan. Thank you for all the hard work. You will be missed. Okay now that we got that skit out of the way. What's the goal we need to reach for Ryan to do a good by handstand work? Face down as up motherfucker. Oh yeah, he did. For the audio listeners Kate looks amazing as usual. Ryan, my fellow Philly person, you will be missed very much especially your Wato. Just want to wish you well in whatever your next job is. How much? much to get trying to do anything in that what a voice um i got an idea what's that well look keep talking about this story yeah let's keep talking about the story yeah i know what you would mean i like your idea but it should it should be it should be i think today wato because of what we're trying to get to i think
Starting point is 00:10:18 wado donations because so many people are going to be do it we're going to do wato wado wado will be 50 donations uh to get wado so um but but i really like what brett's going to i like where your head's at kid like where he has out. I know what you're going to the story. I think that if you had like a young Apollo Creed and you'd a Creed series kind of almost mimicking the parallels that he had Stallone set with Muhammad Ali. That would be very interesting, especially putting in that into that time, especially with everything going on today that would be able to parallel what was going on in the in the 60s in the 50s when Apollo Creed was coming up. That could be interesting.
Starting point is 00:11:00 The Rocky stuff could be interesting, but I'm just, I just can't see anyone else playing Rocky. I don't care if he's directing it or producing it. It just makes me, I don't know. Winston, what do you think? Yeah, I think it's kind of the same mentality because my first thought,
Starting point is 00:11:17 I was like, is he going to play young Rocky? Because we saw how the Irishman went. Like, I don't know that. And so I, yeah, I think. that there are some people that that would work like i actually am um of the mindset that uh uh sebastian could play young luke if they ever go that route just they look so similar and he's proven his acting chops but i just i also agree i just don't like who is there anybody in the entire i mean maybe there's some undiscoverable undiscovered person we don't know about but i can't think of
Starting point is 00:11:49 a single person in the entertainment industry that could effectively play a young stalone in that regard It's also just hard because I think that with using the example of of Luke Skywalker, you can, you, if Sebastian Stan played Luke Skywalker, you could do it and have your own take on it and still be true to the character of Luke Skywalker. It just seems to me almost impossible to do Rocky without doing an impression of Rocky. You know what I mean? Kate, what do you think? You know how I feel that I don't want anybody deaged ever, ever, ever, ever again. It was a nightmare. And I also feel like this is because they've gone so.
Starting point is 00:12:24 long with him like it's not like I don't know that I feel like I feel like like the bet like yes like the guy stepped in like Jesus Christ I'm not being articulate today but like Obi-Wan was in a couple of movies but then they do young Obi-W it wasn't like that guy had been in like 10 movies as Ben Kenobi and we couldn't have Ewan McGregor step in as him I feel like rocky like there's been so many movies with Stallone as Rocky it's like you can't at this point there's just you're too many movies too down to down the line i agree and well but here now the counter to the argument that that i made you made and winston made was was this if if he when he was writing inside of the instagram saying well i hope someone picks it up all of that being said of
Starting point is 00:13:13 everything we just said it should be picked up and i'll tell you because if they are going to make punky brewster or say by the bell or any of these theories for these streaming services and there are nothing against those shows. I know that I hear the shows are really are really good. But if they're going to make those for a streaming service and you have an IP that people, I'm also making it clear. I will watch it. If someone said, it's not like, ah, Stallone's on it and I'm not watching it. I'm going to watch it. Am I necessarily going to like it? I don't know. I think it's going to be very tough. Like, Stallone's going to have to really be involved and find out, like, you've got to find somebody that's not just like, look at, are you guys watching, is anybody watching Young Rock?
Starting point is 00:13:54 Yes. Yes. I actually really am enjoying the show. I'm digging it too. I'm digging it too. And I buy these guys as as rock, right? I buy him throughout his year as rock. And when you look at it,
Starting point is 00:14:07 it's different because they're playing him as a, it's a guy. It's not like it's not this character like Kate was saying. We're so used to Stallone doing it. And it's also not that someone wouldn't do a good interpretation of, of Rocky, they might. It's the same issue I had,
Starting point is 00:14:24 with Han Solo. I still say it and I say it a hundred times over. I thought, um, all did the did a really good job in solo acting. I just didn't see him as Han Solo. I saw him as a brand new character, different character. It wasn't like, oh, he's a terrible actor. It was great actor. It's just that's not that wasn't Han Solo to me. And it was because of the established feel of what of the way Harrison Ford brought that character not like, oh, it's not Harrison Ford. It's like, no, it didn't have the moments of the things that Harrison Ford set up for that character. That character. It's like, oh, well, he eventually became him.
Starting point is 00:15:02 No. You have those that part of you is always there. And it would be part of Han Solo when he was six years old. It just was morphed throughout the years. And that guy wasn't there. I'm worried about the same thing happening in Ron. You know what it is? Because we see recasting of stuff.
Starting point is 00:15:17 But typically, if it is, it's for superheroes. And we've had a large amount. of property and media to like see this character. So it doesn't bother us to see a different take on Superman or a different take on Joker because we have infinite comic books. We have infinite TV shows. We have all this stuff on it versus like you said with Han Solo. The only way we ever knew Han Solo, yes, there are the books,
Starting point is 00:15:41 but that was after the fact was through Harrison Ford. So to try and backtrack it feels kind of weird. And I think the same is true with Rocky. Rocky wasn't like some story we had heard about as a kid in a book. You know what I'm saying? It was Stallone. being this guy. So it is hard to separate the two
Starting point is 00:15:57 and you're right. You don't want to go in doing an impression of Stallone. You need to be able to just do what you need to do and have it connected. I think that that's extremely hard to do. So I understand where you're coming from a thousand. Yeah, the only, the difference though between like, again, Solo and Rocky would be where
Starting point is 00:16:13 Harrison Ford was like, yeah, I'll give him my support, but he'd even make phone calls. He wasn't helping out with a character. Stallone will be on set, helping with the character. So 50 shades of geek donated $20. Thank you. None of your opinions matter to me today.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I'm just here for Ryan's final show. Jalaw, you're no R.B3, but it's like a Patrick Stewart slash James McAvoy as Professor X situation. Both are great but different. Both will be equally missed. Hashtag Jamal for host. Thank you. Oh, I just got word that Malcolm has already quit the show. he decided
Starting point is 00:16:51 he just put it in the chat yeah nothing said fuck this um uh jp donated $20
Starting point is 00:17:03 Jamal Jamal he does it all he's not going to fall because Jamal's on the ball do we know your first name yet Ryan? Thank you Ryan for your time on the show and much success to your future career someone please please see you again by
Starting point is 00:17:18 Wis Khalifa it's John Yeah, Rocky Prequel Series is fucking dumb I think No, I really don't like it Unless you're gonna remake the first movie Like, and just make it a mini series What are we what are we doing?
Starting point is 00:17:34 Is it like oh he hasn't won yet And like oh it's Adrian she's still shy Polly's still a dick Oh young butt kiss Like there's nothing The whole art of this guy Is in the movie Like are we just gonna be seeing him as a loser
Starting point is 00:17:48 That part of it That part of it I'll argue against. I think that it's a dong take he wanted to tell you. No, no, no, no, no. I understand. I understand that a lot of people will probably say that. A lot of people will probably say that the whole point of Rocky was this underdog story. And this whole thing was this underdog story of this, you know, 100 to one shot of a guy who was not supposed
Starting point is 00:18:07 to do it. That is determination as well, his heart was the reason why he was able to do. It's the, it's the American reference that we always use a Rocky story. So I understand Ryan's take. Ryan's take is that, what are we going to do? We're going to do that again. We know what he's capable of. And I think that's the point.
Starting point is 00:18:24 The point is the fact that what Kate said earlier, we have been with this character so much throughout the six movies and then the two Creed movies that we understand him so much that we know that he's eventually going to get there. The question is what happened? Because if you go back to that first movie and they talk about him in, where Mickey talks about what his family life was, right? and they talk about, Mickey talks about how it was he had this potential of what he was going to do,
Starting point is 00:18:52 but he decided to throw it down the docks. He had he had the tools. He could have been a great fighter and it was, and not just a brawler, right? And so the potential and understanding and playing it into the politics of the 60s could be interesting. And I think that they, for a limited series, I think that they could make it work. I do because then it would then lead into, oh, well, how does he get his life back on track after falling there? but my biggest problem is it's you're watching the series of the first time let's whatever series it is let's say HBO picks it up right HBO picks it up and then some kid watches it and then then it goes against exactly what you were talking on Ryan like you watch that series for the first time that's the first time you ever watch anything rocky now I want to watch the movies all right well now well first of all that's not the rocky I just followed for 10 episodes that's who's who's this guy or I don't know it's it's it's a tough one it's a tough buying like the turps.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Is that like I What are we gonna be? No, I don't that's no I think it's gonna be way before any of this stuff. I think that you have to you can't put it that close to the fight. Like it's gonna end with him and Spider Rico going to the ring. That's the ending of the show. What I like is your your knowledge of Rocky and I respect it. He's a Philly boy.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Well I was in Creed one and two like I'm a huge fan of this. I just I'm worried because like I love that you know we got this. Wait, you were in Creed one and two? Yeah. I mean I helped out. I was a PA and an extra. like nothing big but I I love this franchise so much and I know after Rocky 5 there was a chance that nothing was going to happen with this and I love the new direction they're going in with
Starting point is 00:20:24 these creed movies I'm really worried about this like I'm amazed they've been able to tell a lot of incredible original stories they're on like the eighth film of this franchise it's still fresh well let me get I'll give you something else then Ryan how about this because you've been you've been talking about so I'll I'm gonna even push this for the for the fans right now too I'm gonna put a new goal because we have our 1500 goal we have our thousand goal I'm gonna I I have come up with our 2000 goal. The Jeep Wrangler 4xE. It's electrified.
Starting point is 00:20:51 So you can boogie, wugi, boogie, boogie, boogie, through a mountain over creeks or boogie-wugi through a desert
Starting point is 00:20:56 where you get bit by a pitpiper. So you boogie-wogie-wuggy back to camp and ask your friends if they'll suck the snake venom out when they say, no. You boogie-wugi-wugi to the nearest hospital for a dose of anti-venom and boogie-woogie-wogie your way to a full recovery. The electrified Jeep Rangler 4-E.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Learn more at jeep.com. Jeep is a registered trademark of FCA, US LLC. All right. If we hit 2000 today, I'm going to put Ryan in the exhibition Rocky Championship match against John Roker, the current Rocky champion and Adam Collins. What? It'll be a triple threat for the Rocky Championship trivia. If we hit 2K today, I will put Ryan inside of that match against Adam Collins and Roka, which I hadn't announced. I can't wait for Roka to find out.
Starting point is 00:21:44 This is how Ryan gets in the match. If I lose, I need to wear a collar around Hollywood, like JTE. Look at your blushing. You've been talking about competing forever. So here's the shot. If the audience wants to see it, we'll put. You're Apollo Greed right now, and I'm Rocky Popple. Get on a shot.
Starting point is 00:22:02 We're going to put you. So that's your shot. We're going to put you in the exhibition. And I'll leave an error. And after it goes on the exhibition, after a couple months, I'll put it public to the, so people can see you finally compete. I'm going to take a shot. Thank you shot.
Starting point is 00:22:15 This is how you know Ryan loves Rocky that much is because he mentioned he was in, like it was he said it was just PA, just an extra, but he mentioned that he was in CREED and Kate donated $20. At least one of us found a new job. I am glad I still got in that one game. Congrats and you will be missed. But you know why, Winston. I was like, why?
Starting point is 00:22:41 I was like, you know Michael B. Jordan? Oh, that's why. I was like, I didn't understand that. I thought Kate instantly went into flirt mode like you were an extra on creed. No, I was like. Got to see them for doing the boxing. You know, MBJ? Kate, you still got it, girl, damn.
Starting point is 00:22:59 I would love it. If the Rocky prequel shows, just him being a lone shark, beating up people left and right all around Philly. Listen, I think you guys are bearing the lead here. And this is, I'm getting kind of pissed because I think everybody should be on board with this. If you saw Sylvester Stallone's, which I appear to be like wide-ruled notebook sketchings of the treatment for this. I knew somebody would interrupt this. A million shot.
Starting point is 00:23:26 What did he say? Give that kid his one million shot. Give him a shot. Give him a shot. It's going to play. I mean, and that's not an easy match to jump in. House Heisenberg donated $20. There you go.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Damn it, Christian. Why did you have to ruin my April Fool's idea by hosting today in? instead of tomorrow. Oh, yeah. I was supposed to announce my idea to the audience today in preparation for tomorrow
Starting point is 00:23:48 because you don't watch this show anyway and you've gone and bungled it. That's right. Got a note right here for it, too. We had a whole plan. Right, well, tough shit. Well, anybody that listen to stereo can still send those in,
Starting point is 00:24:02 but I guess it wouldn't be April Fool's. But listen, let me keep talking so the Schmovots keep coming in. Yes. We've got a treatment from Sylvester Stallone here. Can you name a Sylvester Stallone movie you like that is not Rocky or Ambo? Ryan will be champion. That porno he did.
Starting point is 00:24:21 The best. Wait, is this a Colin Farrell situation? He really did a porno? No, he did it. Softcore, but like there was, but my favorite is I, they showed on entertainment once. It's the clip from like him dancing and he's doing this ridiculous dance. And I remember my ex-cove, just crying, laughing. because it was this clip.
Starting point is 00:24:43 And then Dagnino's song, he's like, that's the best. It's so ridiculously perfect. Sorry, Brett. I don't know what it was called, but back to this, the treatment, folks. Listen,
Starting point is 00:24:58 do yourselves a favor. Pull this up. Treatment for Rocky Prequel Series. Dash, written by Sylvester Stallone. I want to get a goal where somebody reads, maybe Christian reads this as Rocky. I mean,
Starting point is 00:25:11 I'm just going to give you a hint of this. one imagine a time machine people he's gonna go on he maybe he did or he's going to go into a room and imagine having this much star power that you can go to room with the go paper everyone I sent another stream lab before the show began oh yeah he did oh fuck Ryan it's your last day do your goddamn job okay just that was the teaser there's another part that bugs me wait a minute he really sold the he He sold a treatment that was on live. No, there's a treatment.
Starting point is 00:25:44 There's a treatment on Instagram. You got to go to it. My favorite part of it is that one part it says all caps around a bunch of things that aren't in all caps. Why didn't you just write it in all caps? Why did you just write it that way? Did you decide afterwards that should be on all caps? No, but listen, I want to be.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Sylvester kick my ass and guess what, you know, he's going to be crying all the way to bank from hearing some schmuck like me was giving him a hard time. But he can walk in a room with a nope, straight. No, you gotta look at the Instagram, Kate. And it's like a cinematic world brimming with characters that have been beloved by people around the world for nearly five decades. It's like it's like a high school kid's thesis or something. Kate, do you find you find people who have hung out with Michael B. Jordan, like Ryan, you find them what, attractive? I just, I like to be one degree closer to him.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Okay. Ryan, share the screen. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, here we go. Stop. There you go. You ready?
Starting point is 00:26:48 All right, here we go. This is, this is something interesting, but I don't know. Oh, there it is. Okay, I got it. Here we go. Where am I looking? Right here. On the screen.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Right there. It's the best. Oh, wow. Have you ever seen this? No. I can't believe. Did you talk to him about playing Wallace? I think I can take you.
Starting point is 00:27:07 You think he had it. Oh, my God. He's so hot. It's weird. I need my money. Not you, Christian. Yeah. You did.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I want to see. I'm going to get. All right. Can I move up here? Do you think I was just do this? You got to do it for a lot. Oh, my God. It's so cool.
Starting point is 00:27:24 All right. Great. Start contest? Cheap. That was a long time ago, but it was a lot of them. Christian. Yes. My God.
Starting point is 00:27:37 How did you not kiss him? I did. I did. I would be. I was about ready to kiss him. I don't know what was going on right there, but I was like, man, that is a beautiful man. I was just like, yo, wait a minute. How in all of the, all of the times that RB3 was making fun of him, you weren't like, hey, that's, that's my, that's my guy.
Starting point is 00:27:57 James Wheeler donated to $50. Good morning to my favorite crew on YouTube. Thank you for getting me through these tough times with your compassion and humor. Also, good luck, Ryan. You're going to be missed. Thank you, James. Yes, you will, Ryan. And they're getting close, Ryan.
Starting point is 00:28:15 So I think there's going to be a lot of goals for you here. One, you might be hosting by 11 o'clock. Two, if we can get it, if we get to that $2,000 donation today, we are going to have Ryan play in a Rocky championship against Alan, Adam Collins, and the reigning rocky champion, John Roca. This is speaking and these things, Winston, you'll get a kick out of this one. I just forgot this just popped up from this. These are all from Pandango.
Starting point is 00:28:41 did the creed junket but can i share my screen more time oh yeah totally sure yeah thank you ryan getting some balls now that he's leaving all right here we go here's the here's just some respect you to you gotta show some respect have the italian italian's italian's talian shirt on oh my god look at his chest on top of it my god the thing is what i rock about boate was a perfect bow to the franchise. Right. And then you hear Creed's coming out. How are you convinced to say, you know what?
Starting point is 00:29:18 This is, I want to further the story here. This is the pitch. What really sold me is the same kind of passion I had when I was 29 years old trying to pitch it in the office. Here's his kid. Here's Ryan. And he's having success after success, win an award, but he keeps coming back to this ideal to present Creed as an homage to his father.
Starting point is 00:29:40 to his father. And I guess almost as a challenge to him because I say, you know, this is such a lose-lose situation. And sure enough, I would say 90% of all the blogs said, this is a rip-off. Why are you doing this? This is a money grab. It's really rocky seven. Aren't you tired of boxing? I come on boxing. I'm not in the ring. And it took, I guess, almost a year. And I see this whole mood has been shifting. And now, luckily, was. gentlemen such as you just have seen the film, now people understand it's not Rocky 7 at all. And what I liked about this movie, though, it's almost what Creed is going through in the film is that he wants to stand alone. He wants to be his own man. But he's still got the name.
Starting point is 00:30:24 He's still part of the family. That's what the movie felt like. Absolutely. I mean, it was very much art imitate life in so many different facets of this film. You know, you had, you had, you know, Michael and myself, you know, trying to convince Irwin and Sly to make this movie, you know what I mean, which is very similar to Adonis,
Starting point is 00:30:39 trying to get Rocky to come out of retirement and training. You know what I mean? And you also had that, you know, the identity issues, like, what am I? You know what I am I Johnson? Am I creed? You know, well, you're both. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:30:51 And there's no reason to hide from the history that you have behind you, but you can still do that and stand up on your own. And that's kind of what the movie's doing as well. It's great insight. You know, me and Ryan, like, we were talking about this, like, three years ago. And it was as easy as him saying,
Starting point is 00:31:05 I was thinking about doing this story about Apollo Crease, son, do you want to do it? And I said, okay. And it all sounded, you know, like honest and true and anything that Ryan does or he puts, he's associated with it, it's going to have that same type of feeling. So, I think that to me, it's,
Starting point is 00:31:21 oh, really. How do you feel about Rocky, James? Actually, James wrote this, the treatment. Oh, really? But the reason, but the reason I bring that up, is because, oh, hey, buddy. Because if you look at the, you know, what they were saying there, if they take that same philosophy, Winston,
Starting point is 00:31:52 and they put that towards the series, it could work. That's kind of the idea. I agree. I was just, I think the only thing that, like, you got to keep that philosophy, but I understand again, circling back to what you were saying, you took a character that didn't exist yet
Starting point is 00:32:07 and plugged him in to a scenario with, existing universe versus taking a character that we've already like fallen in love with for how many decades now and then trying to get somebody else to try and replicate that that's i understand where you're coming from and i agree with you it's dangerous but if it works it works yeah we'll see what happens i'm i'm i'm with i'm i am not as not as um against it as ryan is but i understand where ryan is coming from i just uh it's i just the other thing is it's not to taint the franchise if it sucks. It's just not. It's just like you can make it. It's like if it comes out, he's executive producer in the West South. But anyway, that's our Rocky show for today. Thank you
Starting point is 00:32:46 for joining us. No, it was, we are going to, we are going to move to the next, the next topic. Alex, we do have other topic. So he's 30, Rocky's 30, 31 in the film, I think. When it starts, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So we're talking about a 20 year old or 18 year old. I would say probably a teenager leading up to in seven i would probably say 17 i would assume because i saw people put in like henry cavil no we're talking about unknowns that would have to play it has to be unknowns it has to be and and and henry cavill he was like six four uh stillone's like five eight five nine uh or something like that but and that he's he would and he's way too way too jacked up i i would you have to get an unknown and you have to get a younger and the that's the reason i brought up young rock you know you they found i thought
Starting point is 00:33:35 Yeah. What they got for. He got to show my love for the great J. Jamal, Ryan Nilsson and his future ventures. We will all miss you, but change is good. As a Philadelphia legend once said, if I can change, you can change. Everybody can change. You, Adrian. Oh, speaking of...
Starting point is 00:33:56 But hold a netted $50. I'm sorry, what? Let's do this impression right this time. But Ryan will play the role of Rocky. The scene is when Mick leaves me. Rocky's place and Rocky just keeps talking. One line of dialogue is, does my house stink?
Starting point is 00:34:11 The monologue is on IMDB. I love you, Mr. Nilsson. Oh, wow. That was for your dad. You have sticks. And apparently the one I did was not sufficient, and that was the, let's do this right
Starting point is 00:34:25 this time, jab. Can you get, can you bring up that, can you get that monologue up there? Sutherland donated $20. Hey Jamal, you fuck face. Here's to you kicking Roca's and Adam Collins us in the exhibition match.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Anyways, we'll miss you. I know you will be back on the show soon enough. I know you will win. Just need to make sure you say, yo, Adrian, we did it. All right, so we are about just under $1,000 away from Ryan hosting at 11 o'clock. Shadow Dragon Productions donated $20. Thank you. Eternal flame. The hollow world I see the sorrow deeply I feel. Now dare perfectly burned out.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Eternal flame just back in my hands like a double-edged sword. I don't care. It's time I have to go that way cause I got ready to break my endless days. Did you put this in Ryan? No. No. Well, thank you for that donation. Ryan, did you, and when you, you got to do a $50 wado impression of Stallone, do, doing, that scene when you do it turn this robot off but are you ready to do it or i'm ready all right so here's here is i wish we could play you know what i am going to do so i don't care if we get a oh here i'll stop sharing yeah i have an idea to where we can uh we what we can do is i know i know somewhat of the theme hold on okay you you tell me when you're ready ryan yeah yeah no one no one's getting nothing yeah guy comes up off me a fight big deal one one
Starting point is 00:36:10 I want to fight, yeah, yeah, I want a fight, big fight, yeah, I want a fight, yeah, who knows what's going to happen to me, huh? I'ma get that, I'ma get that, and I want a ringside see it, do you? You want to help me out, huh? You want to help me, get my face kicked in? I need a wall, you get a face kicked in, my legs ain't working, nothing's working, but you ain't going to go, yeah, go on fight the chip, yeah, I'll fight them, I'll fight them. Get my face kicked in, yeah, you come around here, you want to move in here with me. Come on in, it's a nice house, yeah, real nice. Come on in, it stinks.
Starting point is 00:36:44 The whole place stinks! It stinks! It stinks! This whole place! You want to help me out? Help me out. Come on, help me. Oh, wait, hold on, Nick, and then he runs out. I'll tell you, I think, though, you're so excited about that.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I think they wanted you do it as Wado. Hey, you want a whole place stinker! Little Mickey, eh. You come on here, you want me to fight there. Palo. Hey, no, no, no, no, you want me out? Let's play stink. It stinks.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Don't play sticks. Come on, help me out. You're standing here. Hey, come back to me. We'll figure something out. Well done, well done. God damn it. Good job.
Starting point is 00:37:28 All right. Well, thank you for the Wado. Also, the first one just felt a lot like Christian. Yeah, that was when S-CEN Lach of Awards happened. Please, thank you. Kate. My three-year-old now is that's that is her that he sounded more like my three-year-old than he did me because my with my three-year-old this morning
Starting point is 00:37:47 She's sitting there. She just oh It stinks in here She she my my daughter really is that my three-year-old is becoming I talked to Kate about this. I don't want to give her the whole thing, but she's becoming a soprano. She really she really is She really is Anyway, let's get to some more of these topics here and just an update for everybody at the moment. We are at, yeah, we're not to, we're about, I don't know, 900 away from Ryan doing the hosting the show at 11.
Starting point is 00:38:25 So, all right, here's the next topic. What do we got? All right. So Black Adam has announced a July 29, 2020 release date, premier for that good summer box office. The movie stars current age rock, Dwayne Johnson. as the titular character with Pierce Brosnan, Aldous Hodge, Noah Centenio, Quintessa Swendell, and Marwan Kanzari
Starting point is 00:38:44 also joining him. Christian, will you be watching this movie and should Ryan start bulk enough to play a young Black Adam? I will be watching this movie, and no, not yet. He's got it, he's gonna be playing. You're right, he would be playing.
Starting point is 00:38:54 The good poetry productions donated $20. Oh, freddled grunt bugly, thy mic tureations are to me with big yawning as plurdle gabble-lotchets in midsummer morning on a lurgid B. Jamal. Or else I shall rend thee in the gober warts with my blurgle crunch and see if I don't.
Starting point is 00:39:10 I've never gotten that before. I don't understand what any of that is. That's poetry. That's what that is. I see. Is it like Hobbit talk or something? I don't know what that is. All right, let's thank you for the doing.
Starting point is 00:39:23 Well, let's get down to the bottom of it, Christian, and not just skip it. Find out how to the, I need to know what this goddamn language is. You want to learn? Yeah, I want to learn. I know what these. I know. I need to know what this is. I want to know what a gobble crunch of mabble fun chance.
Starting point is 00:39:39 An annoying donation guy donated $20. Don't worry, I won't make it rain for the time being just wanted to say that water slash Jamal will be missed. Also, Kate, I didn't finish yesterday's show. How did Ellis react to your prank call? Hi. My God. Kristen, did you hear about this? No, tell me.
Starting point is 00:39:59 So, Roxy yesterday, we had a great day yesterday with Roxy. She had us play Truth or Dare. Once we got to 500, every $100 was a different person doing a truth or dare. I took Dare and she dared me to call Ellis and tell him that I like you more than him. So I had to call and he did not pick up. So then I had to leave a message. What was your message? The message was just like, hey, boo, it's me.
Starting point is 00:40:25 I've been just been thinking about how I like Christian more than you. And anyway, we could talk about it or not. Yeah, love you. Just not as much as Christian. There is no, there is no world where he doesn't say, no, not, of course he didn't believe it, but in no world does he not say, what the fuck the Christian maker do that for? A hundred per se. And it was Roxley. Yeah, it was rocks.
Starting point is 00:40:53 You see, Roxie's learned from the best. Yeah, truly. Okay. So as far as Black Adam goes, yeah, man, I'm looking forward to this movie. It's been shit. What, what, I mean, Dwayne Johnson. Johnson was announced to play black guy in what, 2015? 2014.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Holy shit, seven years or it was going to wind up being eight years before. So the reason why I'm excited about it is because a lot of times actors don't attach themselves to movies this early, announce it this early, and stick around, right? The reason why they stick around is because they're really passionate about it. I liked Shazam, and I think that this will be even better. But Alex, what do you think? Are you excited about this? Yeah, I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:41:36 Yeah, it's cool that it's actually happening, because, yeah, it has been talked about for, it will have been eight years. And next year, they got a good slate. They also have Flash coming out and Aquaman 2 as well on their slate. So they're ramping up production on this, so which is pretty cool. And also they, on the teaser clip, Johnson said, the hierarchy of power in the DC universe is about change. LeBron James donated $20.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Hey, Jamar. Thank you, LeBron. Remember in 2019, when. the Sixers could've won it cause the Warriors were depleted. Man gonna miss that laugh man. Keep it going, Jamal, because we all know the Sixers won't. Much love, kiss, kiss, kiss, Muah, chup, chute. Legation, LeBron, the goat.
Starting point is 00:42:20 20 bucks, LeBron, really? Jesus Christ. Millionaire. Millionaire. to $20. Thank you. Thank you for that. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:42:35 It's my favorite time. So Winston, being the host of the IG show and obviously covering this, what do you think? I mean, I personally can't wait for it. I think this reminds me a lot of what happened with, why don't I just forget his name, Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool? And like, yeah, you have a little shitty iteration in X-Men origins Wolverine, but idea of like he was tied to the character for so long, it's nice to finally see it actually happening just because I think Rock is perfect for the character, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:43:08 So I, this has been like a very, very long time coming. And as this cast continues to build out, like, I feel like it's probably going to be one of these higher tier DC movies that we've been like clamoring for. Like I love Shazam personally. I don't know where people were on that, but I cannot wait for this at all. And I can't wait to see him go evil. I hope they do that too, because I know he's supposed to be a hero in this one, but I can't wait to see him, you know, tip over to the other side too.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Kate, do you care about this one? No. All right, sure enough. Brett. I think, you know, I love, I love superhero films that I don't know anything about the character. So yeah, definitely this is one I want to check out. And I can't wait to see it in a year and a half. I mean, like, I'll probably forget about that it's coming out of it.
Starting point is 00:43:54 It's July 29, 2022. Will 2022 even happen, folks? That's the question we should be asking ourselves. Anyway. That sounds like a day. Yeah, well, you know, I was ready to host, so I had my hosting pants on. He did his line of Coke and was ready to go. Yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Just kidding, Julie Sheridan. You said quick. Fast. Quick mish in the morning. What about the quick mish? If we move on, if there's any. Anything else here that anyone else wants to say about this this one? No can I actually I actually really would like to be educated why is he called black
Starting point is 00:44:34 Adam Winston I mean you know it's just his name like I thought there was I mean he's well I mean his his his like his like alter ego is original form he's he's teth Adam or Theo but like I mean I I would have to go and look I don't know enough enough specifically about the character to give you that direct answer where the black part of it came from, but his name is Adam. His name's Adam.
Starting point is 00:45:05 But is he said, like, this is just a, like, is he supposed to be black? No, no, no, no, no, no. The black Adam has not, like black has nothing to. It's not like Black Lightning or Black Panther or, $23. Brett, one quick reaction for last week's Superman and Lois episode.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Jamal, are you sad that it's on high, iatis till may 18th. What will you be doing now on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.? Do you want to hang out or something? Gonna miss you, Rye Dog. Brett, your thoughts, please. Oh, God. I mean, imagine a time machine
Starting point is 00:45:42 that takes us back to a world. We're climbing or bound this time machine, I think is what it said. Not around. Lois, you got Lois. You got Clark. It's hot. You can feel the tension between these two. And you know they want a kiss, but they just can't.
Starting point is 00:46:01 And it's coming at some point. But I got to tell you, this is one of the sexiest iterations of Superman I've seen in my life. I can't believe what they're getting away with on network television. Full frontal penis was a big surprise to me. And I just, I think they should keep going with it because I don't think men should be ashamed of their penises anymore. Triple X-ray vision. Kate, here's your answer. So specifically, he, I mean, he's Egyptian and he murdered a pharaoh.
Starting point is 00:46:29 So the sorcerer or the wizard Shazam that gave Shazam his powers, he was like, you've betrayed me, you've gone evil from now on, your black Adam, just like it's the darkness in you. The dark, okay. Yeah, okay. Okay. All right, moving on to the next story, Alex. Is there another one?
Starting point is 00:46:48 Yeah, we got one more. George Arar Martin has assembled a team to tackle a stage adaptation of his Game of Thrones series. The play will be said during a pivotal moment in the history of the series and will feature many of the well-known characters from the series and hopes to make it to Broadway in 2023. Christian, do you think a stage adaptation of Game of Thrones will work? And should Ryan bulk up to play the dragon, maybe? Yes, on that one, Alex.
Starting point is 00:47:17 I do think it would work, honestly. I think that it could be... Robert Yarr Kimoto donated $20. Yamamoto, Yamiguchi. Yokohama, Yamagata Brett. Damn you. Anyway, good luck, Jamal. I mean, I mean, John.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I guess it is hard to remember names. Good luck, Ryan. You're the best. Around, nothing going to ever get you down. Thank you. Oh, I love Robert. Oh, God. Christian, this is because Brett called Robert Yamagata,
Starting point is 00:47:53 Robert Yakimodata. well there you go so that's what that's a that's a new that's a new name thank see now now kate because of because of our wonderful relationship that we had in the award show the other day Kate now explains that I'm not well that's my it was working before it was like so for the audio listeners how it how it works grandpa you know what for the audio listeners just got changed to for Christian yes so for Christian it's absolutely true well and just to be This isn't what you think, Christian. This is on the show you've never seen Brett and Kay's play date.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Yes. Is that show still? Yeah. We just keep Bill and Fortin doing it. We're not sure. We're like, maybe he won't get word. You should change the name of let's keep doing this until it's canceled. Gavin Min donated $25.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Thank you, Ryan, for all your hard work these past months. you've become a huge part of the community and will be sorely missed. Good luck in your upcoming job and hope you will be continuing your stereo shows. Love you and Brett together. Aloha, a hooey, how? Thank you. Very nice. Do you feel like you love him and Brett together more than you love, like, Brett and I together?
Starting point is 00:49:13 Or, like, what would you, how would you rate that sort of situation? I know. I know. I know. So what was the story of the, the, the, the, Game of Thrones. So the thing is, if you look at it, I mean, it's like a really warped, like, Macbeth or something, right?
Starting point is 00:49:33 If you put it on, if you put it on stage, you could absolutely make Game of Thrones for the stage. There's no doubt about it. I think it would work tremendously. And I think it actually would do really, really well. So what do you guys? Kate, what do you think? Yeah, as a huge theater nerd, I would probably, first of all, I never saw Harry Potter
Starting point is 00:49:53 than the curse the cursed child that i never saw the harry potter play so i don't actually know how these things translate but i imagine that like you could with the game of thrones as long as it wasn't a musical i think i could see it really being incredible r jp donated twenty five dollars a flower knows when its butterfly will return and if the moon walks out the sky will understand but now it hurts to watch you leave so soon when i don't know if you ever will come back Alexa, please play all I ask by Adel for sweet boy Jamal. Tim Koskuba donated $20. Alex, your haircuts is a disgrace.
Starting point is 00:50:36 How did that particular style even get nominated? I don't get it. Oh, don't worry. It's just a bit. Sending love to Ryan for his short but sweet run on Senator like your sixers in the playoffs last year. What the fuck, man. That's so fucked. This is, everybody's on fire today.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Everybody did a line of Coke this morning. Any time you can start anything off with is a disgrace. It really works. It really works. Your hair cut is the disgrace. I like it. For Christian, that was something you kept saying on the award show. Was I?
Starting point is 00:51:10 I don't remember. Yes. Well, there you go. Well, it's a disgrace. The whole thing is a disgrace. The fact that I didn't remember it, that's a disgrace. As a parent, first of all, go fuck yourself. Because if you can remember, if you remember anything that happened yesterday,
Starting point is 00:51:25 I would be very surprised as it all blends into one big ball of shit. You know it really does. Yes, exactly. So you want me to remember you want me to remember what happened last week? I can start doing time codes for your life, Christian. Shut the fuck up, Alex. One p.m. Somebody quick, go wave your head in front of the fart, did you come?
Starting point is 00:51:46 Yeah, Christian. Someone just came into my yard. Hold on. Oh, okay. All right, let's show. Wait, don't you want to want the camera. camera on so we can make sure you're alive? Yeah, why would you...
Starting point is 00:51:58 She's got to go to the toilet. No, she's got to make sure that whoever's in her yard isn't like, you know, robbing her. A strange person in my yard. Let me shut off my camera so nobody can witness it. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:11 It's my gentleman caller. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. What are you doing here? It's like, why are you here from 10 to 12? when the cameras can catch us in our eyes. What's this? What is this stuff?
Starting point is 00:52:32 Whose bitch is this? I just killed. Oh, that's, geez, you went, you went dark. You went, super dark. I don't know. What did you guys think was happening? I said it was your gentleman caller. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Oh, sorry. I was like, Alice, go back. With that voice, I was like, damn, did he put on a Kate skin suit? What the fuck does happen? He sounded like one of the skexies from Dark Crystal. This was a very, this was a very sweet delivery man.
Starting point is 00:53:03 He thought he needed to come into the yard. He thought he needed to come through the gate and put things down. Hey, man, I know how it is. You don't want to get out of the liver room. I saw you here, figured, hey, you're doing a show. Give you the box. It's this weird one leg through the window. Someone came into my yard is going for.
Starting point is 00:53:22 I have to go take a dump. no although my dumps are that quick so that would be nice oh you guys it's always a squirt alert with me oh Jesus church yeah before
Starting point is 00:53:40 talking about your cavernous vagina as one thing Travis didn't donate $20 right not being allowed to host today is a travesty Christian trying to get in an extra show in hopes of nominations for next year is a disgrace.
Starting point is 00:53:55 This is just a great. Instead something meaningless about Jamal, then compliment him. Oh, cool. I know. Oh, I got a, I did get a stream labs that didn't, that we're not going to read because we're only doing Schmobot. It is, it says, uh,
Starting point is 00:54:07 Malcolm, former engineer, I quit. It says. Yeah. That's, oh. Yeah. No, he, he left a long time ago. He left a long time ago. Yeah. The last straw, the last straw was the,
Starting point is 00:54:19 the, the, the, the diarrhea fart. And then he was, Malcolm, I'll tell you what. Malcolm, I'll tell you something. If you have parents that like to be involved in what you do, just don't tell them about this because... Yeah, you'll number one. I just feel like Keith Nilsson will never recover.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Yeah. And I don't know that it's coincidental that Ryan's leaving right after Keith. Christian, my dad tuned into the most... Which one? It was the final day of the women's women's... The women's show. Christian, it could not have been worse. I was wearing underwear.
Starting point is 00:54:50 I went and got panties out of my drawer and was wearing them on the outside of my... That'll do it. That'll do it. Oh, she saw the rod. That I saw. He saw the live births. That was his first taste of this.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Ever of Sien? He was like, is that what you do? Every day? Ryan's not working here anymore. So the second Ryan got a new job, his first text was to his father. Squirt alert, Mulligan, donated $20. Have these donation names gone to far?
Starting point is 00:55:20 That's the new best one. That is it. I'm going to announce that on the next showdown match. Led to the ring by his manager. Kate scored a lot. Muller. I'm into it. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:55:40 I'm into it, guys. Good stuff. Good stuff. You send those sound bites to Malcolm? He's got them all. He's got them all. I mean, I can only imagine what those conversations were like. So, yeah, I know that you know, okay, so yeah, you've done, oh, so you've engineered for, for, okay, for CNN, for Z, okay, well, here's a fart.
Starting point is 00:56:05 So this one's called anal madness. That one's called Enis Madness. This one's called What Are You Say You Farrow? This one's labeled, plows into house. This is correct. Clouse in the house. This is squirtle. I can't wait from the email I get later from Courtney.
Starting point is 00:56:29 So what if Malcolm think? All right, what's next? Game of Thrones. Hey, I tell you what, what could go wrong with something that the show is such spectacle? Let's compare that to like Spider-Man. And then we put that on stage. No issues. I think this is going to be a complete success.
Starting point is 00:56:53 Also, this is what I'll say. I do feel like there's an opportunity here for like a chandelier from falling or like the helicopter landing in Miss Saigon. I do feel like there's an opportunity for a dragon to fly or like Burt going upside down in like the Mary Poppins musical. I do feel like there's like there's really innovative stage stuff. And I feel like this could be a huge spectacle. Totally. And as long as they're not singing, I feel like I'm cool with that. Well, would it be based off of, well, it would be based off of.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Well, it'd be based off of the series. Would it be based off of the books? Would it be prequels to the actual, you know, the timeline that we know? So I guess that's that's the question. What I read it seems like it's part of the series. Like a pivotal moment from the series. So maybe it'll be like one of the, yeah, that'd be pretty cool. But I mean, uh, you kind of have to have the red wedding.
Starting point is 00:57:47 It's got to be. Like, how do you not do a stage play like this and not have one of the largest? 23 pounds and 99 pence through super chat. I was just trying to deliver a package and I stepped in a giant fucking dump in the yard. Try opening a new gate next time. Okay, does someone shit in the yard? Hey, guess me. I guess it was me.
Starting point is 00:58:11 That's how she teaches Tommy Johnson to shit. She's got to show him. I swear to go. I swear to go. Not to take away from Ryan's last show, but I just wanted to wish a happy of birthday to my good. friend and colleague Ben Rayner. You're one of the best people in the Shmowdown community and doing a weekly show with you is one of the highlights of my life.
Starting point is 00:58:31 That's very nice. Happy birthday, Ben Raynor. Yes. Well, thank you for sure. Oh, is it? The great nerd chronic. Well, there you go. We should do a promo for him today.
Starting point is 00:58:43 And then have him cut it. And then have him cut it. So work on your birthday and cut a promo for your birthday telling us how great. Happy birthday the Great Nerd Chronic. And also, by the way, speaking of the show, promos and it's big shout out to the FCL team yesterday uh you know Brad Gilmore PLD Dwayne Burke Sandy Robinson um Steph Sabraraa the whole the whole team really went above and beyond yesterday it had a very successful event on Twitch it aired live three to five that you can still find
Starting point is 00:59:13 all of the matches the two big matches that they had between I being Jared and David and and Cooper it's up on the channel right now on Twitter. which it'll be on Schmodeown extras in two weeks. So subscribe to Schmodown extras if you want to see all the FCL matches. They will air two weeks later. But you can go to the Twitch channel and check it out. It was really, really good. See the future stars of the movie Trivia Shmodown on the first class league.
Starting point is 00:59:40 It was very impressed with it. It was a lot of fun. So, uh, okay. Alex, you were in there yesterday, right? In the FCO was. I was watching it. Two great matches. Uh, it was cool.
Starting point is 00:59:51 It was like a kind of a throwback to the old days before. for like managers and like not nothing against managers but like you know it was like it was fun it was fun yeah well we know that maybe that's why was you're gonna match you uh not yet not yet but um who knows who knows we'll see yeah so uh go and go and check it out because the team really kicked ass over there too and and a big shout out to dwayne uh Burke who engineered the whole show yesterday, two hours, and there was a lot of bells and whistles to the show. So you really pulled it off.
Starting point is 01:00:32 So there you go. Go and check that out. It's, if you haven't checked it out, you really should because the Twitch channel is going to start to pick up. Not only are the airing matches every Tuesday, there's going to be a lot more content on that channel. So get on over there.
Starting point is 01:00:44 And if you're scared of Twitch, I figured out how to watch stuff on Twitch. So anybody can figure this out. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Alex, anything else that we should talk about or no? I just wanted to say on the Game of Thrones thing.
Starting point is 01:00:57 I would love it if it's a musical also. But, Blim Manuel does it. No, just kidding. They did King Kong on Broadway, so I feel like they can do a dragon thing like this. It lost a ton of money, but I think people apparently liked it. Shout out to PJ and Max Maxwell.
Starting point is 01:01:14 So I'm super excited for this. Alex, real quick, if we don't get to this fucking United States Postal Service spy a movie, It's been on there every day this week. I am going to lose my mind. This is the biggest drop since the one before. Go ahead, Alex. We go to this rocky nonsense, Black Adam.
Starting point is 01:01:40 We haven't brought up the post office by me. We're out. Yeah, we have no more stories for today's. Yeah. Let's have that one be the, you know, we don't have time. for Matt Damon running bit because that's been on the hall week. That's my my my uh as my mother would say Matt Damien. Um, there is, I'm not going to read this because I don't want to spoil it for him,
Starting point is 01:02:05 but there is a plot detail leaked for, um, for the Eternals that is apparently on. I'm not, I don't want to get into that, though. Uh, but I guess there was some early test screening. So people that saw it were talking about it. Um, Godzilla versus Kong. Did anybody, I have my review up on the channel right now. watched it the other day, give a non-spoiler of it, brief, brief thoughts. Does anybody else had a chance to see it yet? Not yet, no. So it's, it is exactly what you think it's going to be in regards to, do you, if anybody, and this is what I said in my review, if you go to watch this movie for, oh, you know what, this is the one that they're going to actually make the human story, like, really work.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Kenny Lawson donated $20. Got good news about lab work this week. It was benign. my sister has her last infusion coming up and will ring the bell soon for being cancer free thank you for the laughs thank you right you good luck in your new endeavors thank you all much love that's very sweet of you i'm happy to hear it 20 dollars thank you james oh is this james she's put in thank you james all right so so look hey we're uh we're not we're i think that by again 1500 if we hit 1500 Ryan's gonna host at a
Starting point is 01:03:20 If we hit 1,000, Ryan's going to host at 1130. If we hit 2,000, Ryan's going to be in the Rocky Championship match with Adam Collins and that's right, John Roka. But as far as Godzilla and Kong goes, the human story. If you go into this movie to see, finally, this is the one that's going to make the humans work. We're really going to care about the humans. And this is not the movie for you. No one cares about the humans. You go there to watch Monsters Fight.
Starting point is 01:03:50 and that's what you get. You get monsters fighting. You can literally just stare at the television during the human scenes like this and then wake up for the monster fights and you'll be fine. Because the question is, do you have fun watching the monsters fight?
Starting point is 01:04:06 And the answer is yes. I feel like that was the case of all these movies so far. It's like, you know, if you're crossing, again, crossing your fingers, hoping that, oh, I just want to be involved with the humans.
Starting point is 01:04:17 The humor with the humans isn't working. None of that crap works. It's just like Kong is the star of the movie. Kong is the star. He is absolutely the star. He is the star. And I like that. I like that he's the star of the movie.
Starting point is 01:04:31 And there's a reason why. And I think Rebecca, what's her name? From, uh, no, yes, Rebecca Hall is probably the best human performance in the movie for a little girl. Little girl was good too. But, uh,
Starting point is 01:04:45 full review is on the channel. So you guys can check that out if you want to see it. Okay. Yeah, baby. What's, we got anything else or is that you want to talk about this, this mail movie for, for Brett? I just don't know why you keep putting on there. It's been so slow this week. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 01:05:04 It's just why I see Alex, it's not that easy. When you see, you see what these people, you see what they want, they always want something. You put something on, that's why I don't do the stories in them. I just do the main, I do the main topic and the thumbnail. And every email for the last two months has been, Alex will send the rest. Yeah, I think we can move on. It wasn't that. It wasn't that.
Starting point is 01:05:21 It was a blacklist script. Forget it. Yeah. Until there's a, there's the red band trailer. I'm not gonna, I'm not going to. The, the red con, if you will. The retcon. I think as long as they keep canon with this post office spy movie.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Are you guys, are you guys digging the Falcon and Winter Soldier? I haven't really talked to you guys about it too much. Yeah. I love it. It's good. The only thing I wish is that they would, you know, give me the screener like not at midnight on Friday so then I'm exhausted when I have to do the show.
Starting point is 01:05:53 Full underscorpine is donated $20. The Sixers love me. Oh. Oh, okay. Yeah, I really like but I do like the show, man. I think that this is the same thing that has just been beaten over the head
Starting point is 01:06:10 that we've talked about on the show. It's just what television's able to do. You know, you can develop. Like, I'm more attached to Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan's character than I ever have been in any of the movies in two episodes because this is the best work of things Sebastian Stan's ever done. And Mackie's really, really likable in this role.
Starting point is 01:06:29 I mean, he's, uh, it, there's just so much more to him. Like Sam was always a good character and always was to back up cap and, and he knew he was a loyal friend. But there was, there was not this, this depth to him that there were in his first two episodes of this show. Which, what I appreciate, so for those that are familiar with the comics, when he took over his captain America, that was the biggest thing that he was hit with both in the books and outside of it
Starting point is 01:06:50 was the racism of like, why is Captain America Black? Like, what the hell are you doing? This isn't a, and so to not only bring that in, but to bring in Isaiah Bradley and to just explore what that's like. And you're literally exploring what it's like for two different types of vets for vets of color, but then just vets in general
Starting point is 01:07:06 that get left behind by the system, which is what's happening to Bucky. It's so well done. Was Isaiah Bradley? Was he a character in the comics as well? He was. So he was actually Cap while Cap was on ice. The whole thing with that, like, very quickly, Marvel mirror the Tuskegee experiments to find the new super soldier serum.
Starting point is 01:07:25 They decided to go with that storyline, and Isaiah was one of the only ones that survived and was sent to do missions during the Korea War and all that stuff. But then came home, and America was like, nah, man, and threw him in jail. And, like, he just had this, like, I'm trying to remember specific. Oh, he stole the shield at one point, as I think what put him in jail, like complete a mission. And they were pissed off about it and threw his ass in jail
Starting point is 01:07:47 and then experimented on them some more. Like it was, it's wild. So they almost like took, so they almost took like that when like as Anthony Mackey was talking about how they stole the shield that was on the run. They kind of combined the two of that. I see. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:07:59 I think it's very well done. And I, and this is, this is kind of the conversation I had earlier on SIF council was why I think that these shows don't need to be. This is just a one time event of like six episodes. Right. And it's cool.
Starting point is 01:08:11 I donated $20. Brian, good luck to you, homie. You are a great addition to the, the Schmo family. Remember take it one thing at a time and one day at a time. Brett, Christian,
Starting point is 01:08:23 Kate, Alex, and Winston keep being great. Christian, keep the reviews coming good stuff. You all be easy. Thank you. Who guys the best? Y'all be easy. Yeah, I will be doing a lot more reviews as they keep. I mean, the reason why they haven't been a lot of reviews, people were like, oh, the reviews are coming back. The only reason they ran away is because the movies went away. So now
Starting point is 01:08:45 now they're coming back. And I know that well you know there were a lot of movies that came out sure but when you put out a movie review and it does a thousand views because nobody knows what the movie is it's like you got to this this channel was built on the big releases and we'll continue to do the big releases for sure so that'll keep happening but um i like the six episode arc I like what they're doing there same thing with like obi one it's going to be a shorter run because then you can do more stories like this and where you're essentially having a six hour movie because these episodes are like 45 minutes to an hour. You know, when they're when they're these series, that's why Mandalorian is like 35 to maybe,
Starting point is 01:09:19 maybe 40 minutes, um, because there's so many of them and it's continuous. This is this, they know the story that they're telling you can watch it all back in like this longer movie form. And, um, yeah, Winston, are they doing a second season of Wanda vision or, or no? They haven't announced that. And I would say that it wouldn't make sense to do so because I think that that is very much a self-contained story. I agree. Wanda and Vision can move forward, but this, this is different and I can see if they wanted to do a second season of Falcon and Winter
Starting point is 01:09:50 Soldier because they have had a lot of adventures in this kind of way before. They could continue to stretch this out if they wanted to. I just don't know if Wanda Vision will work with another season. Yeah, and this show has such a lethal weapon vibe to it also with because you've got
Starting point is 01:10:06 you've got the the Murtaugh character and Sam where he's just, he's, he's playing, he's played by the rules. He's trying to get things done. He's a family guy. And then this rogue kind of lunatic running around. And, and, and, but they, but their dynamic is the same with the humor, the way they play off each other. And they've stepped that up. They had that in the movies, but they really step it up in this one. They're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're frenemies. You know, it's like, it's, and, and they work together very well. And they
Starting point is 01:10:34 protect each other against people who are like, it's like, don't, we're going to fight and, and we're going to scratch a claw at each other. But don't try to come in and call out of us together because we'll turn and claw you first together and then go back and clawing on each other. Like I love that dynamic. That was a very interesting metaphor, man. You know what I follow you? I follow where you're going. It was just like, I'm just now imagining like Anthony Macbair.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Yeah, but they're like swatting each other. They're beating the piss out of each other. And someone goes, hey, I want to swat of you guys too. And like, fuck you together. Let's get them. And then I'm down back to each other. You know, it's like that's kind of how they were. And I, I love it, man.
Starting point is 01:11:10 I really dig in the show for sure. no absolutely it's so fun the comedy is off the like the whole therapy session where they were like that close to each other oh my gosh yeah um okay keep on going guys what's what's next well what's that why why do we do that why do we time out i don't know we time somebody out for yeah yes is there a reason why yeah i'm just a little um they were giving you lots of compliments yeah cut that shit up it's a bit of hate we don't know We don't need hate. Oh, all right.
Starting point is 01:11:43 Some hate. All right, fine, fine, fine. All right, well, what's next? Do you want to talk about this USB thing? Yes. Go ahead. Do we have to you now? Yeah, so we're getting a USPS movie.
Starting point is 01:11:57 No, hoo hoo! Amazon is actually developing it, and it's going to start Germain Fowler, who isn't coming to America. And it's actually a spy film, a comedy spy film, And it's about a man whose life is upended when his mother's killed in the line of duty as a postal carrier with a mail route full of surprises. But his mother was actually part of a covert, highly trained spy organization that hides in plain sight, the USPS.
Starting point is 01:12:27 Oh. Go ahead, Brett, talk about it. Oh, I tell you what. Covert action, United States. Killed in action. Is that what they call delivering the mail? KIA. And listen, I have a whole, every family.
Starting point is 01:12:41 on my wife's side is opposed to worker. So this is something, as soon as we're all vaccinated, we're all going to go see. We're going to fill up that theater and just enjoy the ride that this will be. I think the human element of this is not going to be great. I think it's all about the fighting monster. In the post office.
Starting point is 01:13:02 Fly die 470 donated $20. After years of studying he might can tell you one thing. Jamal boasts an o'one. That's right. Hey, listen. That's right. So speaking of Jamal, guys, we are, we are $50 away from Ryan hosting at 1130. We are 1,050 away from Ryan being in the Rocky Championship. So that is a reminder to everybody.
Starting point is 01:13:26 We can do it. We can do it. I think we're going to get to him hosting for sure. So $50 to him. And then if someone puts in a $50 donation, you can also get a Wado impression. So maybe you get two on one here if you do that now. Okay. Well, I think that there's some other.
Starting point is 01:13:41 So like, I said, Kay, have you, what are you been watching lately? I know that you, I know that Mandalorian and, you know what I am watching. Actually, I wanted to tell you is the crown. How good is it? It's really good. I'm in season two. Oh, yeah. It's really, yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Moseady and I watch it often. And the reason why it's, it's like, it's peaceful, you know, and it really gets you. Wait till season four. No, really, yeah, but it really, but it really gets you, um, there's so much, it makes you realize, as Brett and I have so many times that we don't know shit. Because there's so much history and there's so many things that happen inside of this show. And it's all like legit stuff that happened. That's not just fabricated for the show.
Starting point is 01:14:21 And I'm like, how did I not know about this poisonous fog that was part of like London for years or months and was killing people? And it's like this. Wait, what? Yeah. I mean, there was a poisonous fog. And like when Winston Churchill was around and it was, have you watched any of the crown? It's good, dude. It's really good.
Starting point is 01:14:42 It's really good. I mean, I know, I know that there's, I think the truth is, I think there are people who would say, like, oh, I'm very anti-royal establishment and I don't, I have no interest in watching it. But I do have to say, like, the show is not pro royal establishment by any. It's not at all. It shows, it shows, it shows, it shows, there are scabs for sure. It shows, like, how it's, it's, it's, it's not one of these things like, oh, isn't it wonderful to be the queen? It's like, it sucks.
Starting point is 01:15:10 You watch her getting cheated on And then like being like Cheated on thrown into the shit We have an agreement like Yes Yes Well You please I thought we said we would
Starting point is 01:15:22 You're going to do what you're going to do And just leave it out to the press Like she's just it's just the things that she has to put up with No it's because and the fact that she was not like Her dad was thrown into this shit like Two months he was not supposed to be the king Like King George who is one Who if you watch King's speech and everything
Starting point is 01:15:40 too like he was not supposed to be the king his brother was his brother was set up and his brother goes no you know i i fell in love with uh this uh social like from uh from new york or whatever so i'm out peace out guys and that just wasn't done and it's like and his brother's like wait i'm the fucking king holy shit right and then is and then it's imagine imagine you have children you have children going well we're not even in line it's going to be my brother so i'm not we're we're good kids are going to be good and you have you have your daughters you're like no they're not they're not even close to being in any of this. And then your brother takes off.
Starting point is 01:16:13 And then you're the king. You're like, holy shit, my first born daughter is going to be the queen if anything happens to me. Then with Queen Elizabeth, what she's got to go through in the fact that like her dad, they didn't know he was sick. They didn't know.
Starting point is 01:16:25 And then he dies. And then you're what? In your 20s and you're the queen of it. It's crazy how they set it up and put it together. So it's like it is not. Kate's right. It is not pro royal at all. It also just like to me,
Starting point is 01:16:36 it's like the mistakes that they perpetuate. Like the only guy that got out of the mistake was the was was was David who basically was like I love this woman. You're not going to let me be with this person. This is the person that I love. I'm getting out. Just want to thank Ryan and the crew for everything. Going to miss you, Ryan. You all kept me sane in the past year.
Starting point is 01:16:57 Hi, Brett. Oh, thank you so much. So, hey, so we, so we, well, there was no Wado impression there. So if, if you wanted to. but Ryan we are eight cents away from Ryan. Oh, can we do it? Eight cents, eight cents, eight cents from Ryan hosting. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:17:19 I told me 92 cents. Someone was rounding out this whole time. Yeah, eight cents. Refrescent, right? It's got to be those pounds that came in. Let's say, let's say. But either way, but we'll get there by 11.30. We'll get there by 11 third.
Starting point is 01:17:34 Either way. So I would, uh, Brian, Ryan, have you actually watched any of the crowd? Oh, no. No. I'm telling you, man. It's not one of these things. It's not one of these things.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Oh, that just sounds like. I mean, I was watching it like the past couple months, but I just on TV with the headlines. Oh, no, no, no. See, but that's not that this isn't to me. This is not something. This is not season. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:59 No. But it's actually kind of like, I mean, that is an, like what's going on with them is the same thing. that like that's that's that's the whole thing is David David says I'm not going to be king because you're not going to let me love the person Charles and Camilla there's this whole storyline where they can't be together and so like that's why all the Diana like then you see what Diana goes through this you know and it's not that she didn't put him through stuff too and then you go to Megan Markle and Harry now and they're fine they're doing but the difference is this here's here's the difference with all that because you look at like where they still kept all this shit like the the the rules of the monarchy that was there for a thousand of years, right? They kept it all. Elizabeth kept it. They all kept it. The second you get the American involved is like, fuck you. I'm blowing all this shit out of the water. This has nothing to do with me. Oprah, come here. And it's like. But Wallace, Wallace was American too. The woman that David was married to. Yeah, right, right. But that, but that was back then when it was, but they kept it quiet for the most part. They paid him off. They paid, they paid him a salary to shut his
Starting point is 01:19:04 ass and go away for a bit and he kept coming in. But, but yeah, yeah. So this is, I think season five, season five, they got to do. How incredible would it be, though, if they do season five? And they bring, because Tiffany Smith has played Megan Markle on one side of thing, like the romanticized version. I would love to see Tiffany play the crown version of Megan Markle. Are they done with the series?
Starting point is 01:19:31 They're only going up to six. They're only going up to six. And the next one. not coming out to like 22 Alex so that's season five yeah so season six has to be but season six has to be now right but there's I mean maybe I don't know I know because that they're doing it by decade we're only in the we're only in the 80s now okay so I think everything was I think every season's been a decade it was like the 50s the 60s the 70s the 80s I think that'd be I think that would be crazy if they don't do the Megan marco's stuff is like that's that's that is big
Starting point is 01:20:03 that's big story stuff. He said, that's big tits. That's big tits. But here's one thing that just, like, imagine you got a job you didn't want when you were 20 and the only way to get out of it is to die. You know, that's true. And the only way that job is done. And then guess what happens? You'll, like, it'll be, I'll be, I'll be, you're like 65 and you're like, this stress is getting me. I'm going to be gone in, uh, in, in a couple years. 30 years later, you're still here. Yeah. It's like, and now if you, the one side of it is Charles has been sitting around waiting for the throne.
Starting point is 01:20:40 The question is, has he been like, keep my mother alive as long as you can? He's going to weaken at Bernie's it. Exactly. I don't give her shit. If you have to put fucking wood sticks behind her and jump around, I have a perfect impression of her. I will, yeah. Hello, everybody. I'm still around.
Starting point is 01:21:02 She's 112. All right. Oh, my God. You haven't gotten to Olivia Coleman's version yet, have you? I'm on to, I have to say she does the best one. I mean, Claire Foley is phenomenal. She's phenomenal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:18 But there's something about Olivia Coleman. Like she's really good. It's good. It's good. It's a, it's true. Yeah. Anyway, so that's what I've been watching that. And obviously.
Starting point is 01:21:33 No, Invincible is, thank you for bringing that up. Invincible, obviously the new Skybound show, Robert Kirkman. It's a show, whether we were with Skybound or not, I would be, it is on my cue, ready to go. I am pumped, pumped, pumped, and ready to go. So you go, tell me about it. It was phenomenal. We did a Twitch watch-along on the Shmodown channel on Friday after the big pay-per-view.
Starting point is 01:21:55 And when I tell you, by the time you get to the end of episode one. There you go, we hit it. Good luck on your new adventure. miss you. Your new adventure of hosting this show. Hey, in five minutes. In five minutes. So go ahead. Winston, please. But you'll get to the end of episode one and you'll immediately be like, why can I watch this entire series right now? Like, it's, it is, your mind is literally blown by the end of the first episode and you just, oh, God, watch it immediately. That's all I can say is watch it as soon as you can. That's my cue.
Starting point is 01:22:30 I'm going to go and, uh, and, and definitely watch that for sure. work. Very excited to see it. It was excited when I heard about that they were going to be doing this. And now, you know, being in skybound and hearing of what goes into this show and then finally seeing it come to fruition and knowing how passionate Robert Kirkman is about this, I can't wait to check it out. I'm going to be watching tonight this weekend. The other thing I actually did watch that I wanted to mention. Do you guys remember my buddy Ian Virgo that came on the show actor? I know that. I know Brett remembers him.
Starting point is 01:23:00 But do you guys remember Ian? And I don't know if the audience he came on. And he's he lives in the UK now. He's from Wales. And he hit me up. He's in this movie with Harvey Keitel called Blood on the Crown. And it's about the it's about how the British were. They basically had an occupation inside of Malta.
Starting point is 01:23:23 It was probably around the same time when all this stuff was going on in the Crown. Yes, you'll see a storyline involving. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that right now, I think that I'm in there now when they, with everything going on with, with the, with the Prince of Egypt and all. That's, that's where I'm, it's, I think that all combines into it. So anyway, this is, this is part of that. And so my buddy Ian plays a British soldier, the occupation of the kind of the rebellion that's, that's happening there. And he sent it to me.
Starting point is 01:23:52 And it's really good, man. And Ian, Ian, we've talked about shoes and beef on this show many times. And Ian used to sing me, the main song of Shoes and Beef on this show many times. of Shoes and Beef. So he's a very, very talented actor. And he plays his British soldiers, kind of a, kind of a douche.
Starting point is 01:24:06 But he's, it's on Amazon Prime. If you check it out, it's called Blood on the Crown. And Harvey Kytel, Roddy McDowell, tons of great, great actors.
Starting point is 01:24:17 The score, I called them yesterday, and I told him how much I thought the score was great. But it's, it's a slower film, but it's also a movie that I think is very relevant today.
Starting point is 01:24:29 And if you check out the film, please go and do that on Amazon Prime. It's called Blood on the Crown. It has Harvey Cattell, Ian Virgo. It's great. So please go and check that out today. And I'm going to try to get Ian on probably next week. So, okay, we have hit, we have hit our goal here. So host Ryan Nielsen, take it away, Ryan.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Yeah, yeah, you guys. Oh, my goodness. Let's get excited. Let's get pumped up. Yeah. Let's get it moving. Annie up a little? Annie up, Winston?
Starting point is 01:25:06 Everyone familiar? Attention please. Attention please. You got a new host. Leading S-E-N. I've been jotting. I've been jotting. A lot of awesome topics to be talking about.
Starting point is 01:25:21 You guys, instead of Invincible, we're going to talk to the Eagles movie. Invincible Mark Wahlberg, 2007. Check it out on your local 11th man surfaces. Check it out, let it ride. Great soundtrack, great Eagle story. I mean, no one would want to see the prequel story of how we grew up, though. Death on the Nile is coming out. Disney bought it, but man, iceberg ahead, because Army Hammer's in that movie.
Starting point is 01:25:50 What else? Iceberg ahead. Iceberg ahead. What else we got? Oh, yeah. I know the SAG Awards are this week. I'm doing my best Kennaf sack news impression right now, by the way. I feel like I just should go down the line with all the...
Starting point is 01:26:06 You can... You can't make a... ...and productions donated $20. Its cent is the new hit single by Jamal with backup vocals by sniper brett and my shot Alex. Funny story. I actually met 50 Cent when I was an intern for ABC's The Chew. We were making Jello shots, and I had to go hand them one. And I was like, hey, Fiddy, here you go.
Starting point is 01:26:25 Right. Yeah. Do you remember the... Do you remember the... Just like that. Just like that. Just like that. Here you can.
Starting point is 01:26:36 But you know, you guys, it's been... It's so cool to be in the host chair. Charlie Brown donated $20. Is it a rock? Hey guys just got on lunch break and tuned in the show. Now I'm seeing all of these good luck Ryan messages. What the fuck happened? Oh.
Starting point is 01:26:51 Sorry too lazy to rewind the show and rather donate. Ryan is the best. much love to all I'm being let go Charlie I'm being let go this is the final show no one other than Brett and I laughed hard enough
Starting point is 01:27:05 at that Charlie Brown rock joke I'm sorry Halloween Charlie Brown joke that was a Halloween that was a real sleeper that was amazing is it a rock I got a rock
Starting point is 01:27:16 no you guys it's been an absolute honor to do this and this is the final day and Malcolm who's been shadowing this whole show and I don't know if this was a good indication
Starting point is 01:27:25 of how every show is. But I kind of think it is, too. You never know what to expect. It's pretty close. He's been in the middle. What were you going to say, Christian? Sorry? No, there was, do you guys remember,
Starting point is 01:27:36 at first YouTube, when all the YouTube stars come out, do you remember Prueen to Forever? Do you guys remember this guy? Who's that? He was a kid. He was a kid that used to do reviews and he's got to be in his 20s now.
Starting point is 01:27:48 And I never, it's just the audio of my Rambo review. Hold on. My Rambo review. He was a big YouTuber at the time. And like, but it shows what like an absolute cesspool. The fucking internet is they were so rotten to this kid. He was, he was funny.
Starting point is 01:28:10 I used to watch his videos and he was funny. But at the time, his teeth were fucked up and he got him fixed like later on in the line. But like the internet was just such a dick to him. He was a kid. He was a kid. This kid must have been 11 or 12 years old. when he started and like and his his shit was and the reason why I bring that up
Starting point is 01:28:29 is because you mentioned 50 cent he did something with 50 like um why do this sound familiar can you can you throw can you throw the I'm going to share my screen or you don't have to you're hosting you are hosting if you'd like if you'd like if you'd like Christian what would you like to share yes yes thank you thank you so much
Starting point is 01:28:49 this this is after I mean he's this is when he was a little older but I know you got a chance to check out my new video okay right last night fire time I'm here to introduce to you new super weapon right here I'm going to forever and I flew out here from Canada a neat video just kicking an old bitchon you understand Friday is the only day that he can't have a hundred holes on you you understand so he's chilling we're chilling in New York York City, baby. All the way from... You canada.
Starting point is 01:29:42 Yo. But it was... That's actually so sweet. That's great. Christian, why does that immediately remind me of the Chappelle show, the trading spouses thing on Chappelle's show when the kid, but he's like,
Starting point is 01:29:54 Hey, Mopop, what you do? He's like, I'm from the streets, man. G-G-G-U and he's like, well, get your ass in the call. Oh, man. Sorry, Ryan, please. Let's talk about Chet Hanks. That's what's in the news.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Yes. Chet Hanks. Holy cow. White boy summer. Are you aware? What's this is Christian, Kate? Yeah, I watched it. But then I heard him like, I like, rewatched because I'm like, this can't be real.
Starting point is 01:30:22 And then he's like, I don't mean one of them Trump white boys. I don't mean, I don't mean NASCAR. I'm talking me white boy. And I'm like, so white boy who's really rich? This is what I don't understand, though. How was this Tom Hanks' son? Not calling. That's a great.
Starting point is 01:30:36 I just don't understand that. Christian, this is my idea. I'm sorry, Ryan, this is my idea. What's my idea? This is Jamal. We do a goofy movie three starring Tom Hanks and Chet Hanks as Goofy and Max. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:30:51 And let this shit play the fuck out. I want this, I want no movie more in my life. That's how we're going to. Goofy movie with the two of them. Yeah, I don't know, man. Yeah. I mean, so if everyone saw the rules, video. I think the first one was no
Starting point is 01:31:08 plaid can't be looking like a picnic ticket out there. Salmon. Burn it. Burn all your salmon clothes. And there was a third rule. Oh yeah. No more saying smoke show. Oh, so Bonnie, yeah, we changed Bonnie's nickname. No, it's not the smoke show. Oh, she can't, oh, no more smoke show. Okay. Yeah. Although she did send a, she's
Starting point is 01:31:30 sent a picture for her next outfit in the FCL and I don't think you can call her anything but. Whoa. All right. It's pretty good. I'll send you the picture. You tell me if we should actually show it. Let's get a picture reaction from Kate.
Starting point is 01:31:43 From Kate. We'll make you the full screen because again, I'm hosting. So I can do that. Here comes the picture. You tell me. So this is what we're going to. Incoming, Kate. All right.
Starting point is 01:31:54 The camera's just you. You're the whole frame. I want to see. I need some milk. All right, let's get. All right, I'll send it. I'll send it to, uh, to, that'll work. That'll do.
Starting point is 01:32:11 If I put this, if we, views go up 9,000%. Right. It's because I'm expecting this coming. I mean, it was on our Instagram. It's not, it's on our Instagram. You might want to get Andy up ready again. Just give me, give me, give me share.
Starting point is 01:32:22 I'll play it. Put it up right. I got to find it. Screenshot. I just screenshot it. For the audio listeners, after today, you're going to want to consider being a watcher. Yeah, I had to do the screenshot because otherwise, here it is.
Starting point is 01:32:38 All right, where is? So this is potentially Bonnie's next outfit on... Kingel, Carimelbury donated $30. Woo! Okay. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. She really saved on fabric with that one. They gave her a deal.
Starting point is 01:32:58 They gave her a deal. I hate to see this. There was a schmobot. sent in right when you shared that and it blocked the screen. Oh, they didn't see it? Yeah, totally blocked the screen. You got to go again. I think they said they saw it.
Starting point is 01:33:14 Okay, okay. Did they not? Let's see. Let's see the audience saw it. Oh, Ryan just wants me to show it again? All right, fine. It's not. There you go, Ryan. He's an animal. If there's one thing I know about Ryan, it's that he's an animal. He is now because Ryan, now Ryan.
Starting point is 01:33:31 Look at that. I hesitate to say anything. I hope the chat has my back. they probably were her twins her twins are asking to be released like please let us out release the crack so now so now so that's gonna be that's Bonnie's next outfit for the for the she looks so good Fiji looked fun he just jumped out of the window she had to just stay out of that oh my god we do have some some shmobots that we're just so hearing that we have to replay them
Starting point is 01:34:09 might take a few seconds so it might interject but you guys wow what a week man i mean march hell of a month kingle mcgray donated thirty dollars no ante up yeah that fool anti up kidnap that fool it's the perfect time in ryan you'll shine and get up of them god damn diamonds what's the best cheese steak in philly if your answer is any other than jims you're wrong good luck on your next move i was gonna say jims but it burned me because i went there Thank you for, yes. I went there and it was the oiliest sandwich I had when I went at late. It's like they put enough oil on it for 20 people, but they're only two there.
Starting point is 01:34:47 So Jim'songer. Jesus. It is Maxes, which is actually featured in Creed 1. Ah, I haven't, oh, exactly when they go, I know exactly where they're sitting. I got to watch that movie. I don't know that's John. You know, Creed 2, by the way, gets better and better. It's one of those movies.
Starting point is 01:35:02 The first time I saw it, I liked it. Second time I saw it loved it. I have to go back and watch it again. But it's, it is one of those movies that gets better and better. All right, what else we got next? Got anything else? You want to talk about, Ryan? You know, there are only four stories in that email today.
Starting point is 01:35:15 We could probably go back to earlier in the week because we never really get to all of them. But I think we've kind of hit all of them today. It is ironic that Amazon, who's been kind of ruining the post office industry for the past 10 years, is making that movie. So we could talk about like the serious issues with that. Or we could just diverge and we can move on to something else. Alex, what do you think? And I know we're not reading Schmovots, but now that I'm not reading Schmovots, but now that I'm hosting maybe we can.
Starting point is 01:35:40 That's up to you. Hey, you can switch. I think we should. Sure. So I'll give you a few seconds, Alex, because I want to get all the praise and love coming in for the day. So if you could just prep that while we're, uh, while we're buying you some time, that be great.
Starting point is 01:35:53 And I also tell you what that means. That means that Ryan doesn't really want to play Roka and Adam because he's taking his time reading. All right, guys, we're going to do a new goal. How about that? We're going to do a new goal. If we, um, hit $1,100, we're at a little, we're $3 dollars away from $11.00. Um, I will do that handstand.
Starting point is 01:36:09 to work and then we'll have another goal for 1100 I think I've only hosted once with three dollars away should have done three no we're more than three oh all about the tea oh the chat must not be updated what was the roca match was that 1500 the rocum no the rocum match is at two grand uh the 1500 was if he he would host that at 1130 but we hit that already so it's a i just don't seem to remember rocky having to get like a fundraiser in order to fight apollo he was just chosen and given a shot yeah you know you know do you know what you know what you know Why? Because Rocky fought before. And he knew that we could,
Starting point is 01:36:46 we knew he could actually throw a punch. Oh, okay. And we can definitely test it out. Oh, double snap. Set it up. You have some practice questions. Let's do it. Hey, Harry, people are asking about Winston and my as Thundercats. Would you like to hear that? Let's hear it. Oh, yeah. Winston, what do you think about the idea of a Thundercats movie?
Starting point is 01:37:10 No? I mean, I guess. I don't know. It's live action. Yeah, the new. And Wingard is, uh, is, I mean, I like Wingard calming it. I just, I don't know. I guess I just, I'm down. I'm after everything that happened with cats, I don't trust cats in CGI anymore. Like I just don't. I need to, I need, you need, give me a proof of concept. I think that's fair. I think that, but I, but I also think that, uh, that if they were able to do like avatar and those things and make it, they can make, they can make, they can make Thundercats look pretty cool, but Thundercats
Starting point is 01:37:42 was something that I was, like, if you look, you ever see that, do you ever see that fake trailer that came out like 10 years ago of Thundercats with like Brad Pitt? And yes, it's fantastic. And I think that there is a world where you could do a Thundercats movie.
Starting point is 01:37:58 And when you think about the actual, because when Lino, I know, I mean, I was a massive fan of the animated series. Like, Lionel was like a kid when they took off from their spaceship. When they crashed, he, like, aged and he became the leader of the Thundercats like it's it with the sword the thunder the Thundercats oh the whole type thing I think it would be really epic if they did it you
Starting point is 01:38:19 know they could put it on that kind of avatar scale it could be I don't know man it could be pretty massive I mean the story of actual Thundercats is one of my favorites like I mean that was part of that whole Tsunami block where you were watching all that stuff so I'm excited in that regard but again I the last humanoid cat that I remember is cats and I I agree with you. If they go avatar, if they really like take their time and master that, I'm all on board. I just, I get it. You'd be able to separate that.
Starting point is 01:38:47 A hundred, a hundred percent. That's, that is, that's the first, because you think of people running around or even bringing back an old school zoo-billy zoo. You know, you bring back like that's, that's, you don't, that's the last thing you want to do is someone with when your main character shows up and the audience was, like that's, you don't want that to happen. You, they got to look cool. They got to look cool. It's got to be great. And it's, it was also the big thing that we always ran into. too with with he man people like this silly thing is oh how are you going to do a movie about it with with a
Starting point is 01:39:16 with a with a with a with a because i guess skeletal who had a purple tiger or the purple uh purple panther or or a green tiger and a talking to talk to how are going to do that it's like yeah yeah you can do that you can you can do it if you anything can work just not and it's the same thing we talk about a million times over with with jokes anything can be funny not anyone can make it funny Same thing of movies. We're going to go to our correspondent, Kate. Now, what is a bit, Kate? Would you mind just telling us in all the audience, what is a bit?
Starting point is 01:39:49 Yes, hi. Thanks, Ryan. Yes, I'm here. I'm here in the most unfunny room in my house. And I got to tell you, what makes a bit? A bit is a sort of thought or idea of a joke that gets repeated. What's that? We seem to be having some interference there, Kate.
Starting point is 01:40:09 Did you get a message in? Is this the bit? So that was a bit. And if I keep doing it, it's gonna, it's just right. Yeah, it will, that's a bit, okay? And you can tune in. You'll know what it is next time. And you'll know what it is next time.
Starting point is 01:40:25 It's a bit. It's a bit. It's a bit. Right. Take out the B, and then you have Bonnie's picture. All right, what's next? I do, I did look through the stream labs real quick, Ryan. And I did see a very interesting question that I think you would,
Starting point is 01:40:42 need to answer before you leave. Well, Alex, throw it out there. All right. Jordan McIntyre. I don't know what you're waiting on. Throw it out there, Alex. Thank you, both of them. Jordan McIntyre says, who would win in a fight?
Starting point is 01:41:00 Ten kangaroos versus 100 ducks. The terrain is bamboo forest, light drizzle, humidity 87%. What do you think, Ryan? Alice, I want you to break this down, please. Ryan, can Alex break this down? Yes, let's do it. We'll go to our correspondent Alex.
Starting point is 01:41:12 Please break this down. Okay. I would consider- That's the bit. There's the bit, boys. There is. There is. Alex, break this down.
Starting point is 01:41:21 You have experience with fighting and when it comes to animals and shit like that. Please tell us. Break this down for us. I actually haven't, I have thought a few animals, not kangaroos nor ducks, but I do know that kangaroos can punch well and they jump and they can probably squash those hundred ducks. Maybe just one kangaroo, I think 10 is a bit of an overkill, but I do think that the weather, The terrain will affect the kangaroos jumping. Like, if it's too damp, then they may land softer.
Starting point is 01:41:53 They won't be able to get much bounce on their step, you know? So who knows what can happen in there? But I'm still taking the kangaroos, even with the terrain being that different than their usual arid landscape. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Thank you, Ox. We actually have another fight swag correspondent.
Starting point is 01:42:08 This is a new triple header going on. Do you think Ben Goddard would even stand a chance versus any number of kangaroo? or ducks. Winston A. Marshall. This is a bit. For Christian. This is a bit. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:42:21 Winston A. Marshall, go for it. Thanks, Jamal. I am here outside the training facility for Ben Goddard. He's not... Hold on interruption. Hold on interruption. Thanks for your time on the show. And thank all you guys and gal too.
Starting point is 01:42:39 Great bit Kate. Definitely getting nominated next year. Definitely not a disgrace. to disgrace. Snarf, snarf, motherfuckers. Well, we just hit the goal, so while Winston's finishing up this point,
Starting point is 01:42:52 I will do the twerk. Yes. Okay, well, they have snarf? Well, snarf being the thing's got to be, right? Just to keep it not ridiculous, they have to. Snarf versus Orco, that's the spin-off. Snarf, snar. Snob, snar. Jam-Sah.
Starting point is 01:43:07 Jam-Ther. Jamal, are you still there? I'm still there. There's a bunch of old white dudes going on and about a bit that nobody cares about. But to go ahead real quick. So apparently, I'm outside the Ben Gutter training facility. He is playing among us.
Starting point is 01:43:20 He is calling people suss, and that is his training to fight a match. And, oh, my God, there is a white boy working on a wall. Jamal, you have to see this. It is absolutely insane, tossing it back to you. Thank you, Winston A. Wait, Mr. Thank you with that. And that was your...
Starting point is 01:43:42 You're... fucking Wednesday broadcast. That was. It's a sunny day here in Delaware. And we are closing out the show. We got 13 minutes. 13 minutes left. We're very close to the 2000 goal.
Starting point is 01:43:57 We're about 900 away. 900 away, you guys. Keep donating there. Get Ryan that his time in the ring. Give him his shots. In fact, I actually think I am the host. So I might actually be able to change the goal number. If you think about it.
Starting point is 01:44:12 So maybe I can just change it to change it to. You guys, I'm making this executive order. There's a new president in town. 1,200. So that is 83 away. Sorry, 73 away. You guys donate the stream lab link. Holy cow.
Starting point is 01:44:28 Oh, my goodness. That's been vetoed. It's been vetoed? Two managers. I don't know about me, but Kate, I'll give my thumbs up for that as a manager. Coming from two managers, it take fucking two weeks to respond to emails. you guys can veto it also. Actually,
Starting point is 01:44:45 Kate's not bad at it. I was going to say. It's not the words. Not the best. But managers are great. They're totally good. No, I'm going to give props. I'm going to give props to someone over at skybound yesterday where someone noticed at,
Starting point is 01:45:02 because Gucci is to no one's surprise the worst at getting promos in. He'll say the day before our match. Oh, wait, this doesn't work for me. And Courtney will be like, we, wait. What do you- We can, right, yes. And so, so he, so people are noticing that during the Roka promo against Lish Chan and Miller, he was the only person that didn't have promo and footage on.
Starting point is 01:45:22 And he's like, I sent it in. The day up. So, so I got to, I, I was like, I asked a question like, how come Gucci didn't have it? They're like, yeah. And, and basically one of the, one of the, the post people was like, Ryan's as saying, yes, donated $20. What the booty fuck. Damn, that was the best thing.
Starting point is 01:45:42 all week. Farewell, Ryan. Thank you so much. Now, back to the Gucci thing. Yes, yes, back to the Gucci thing. He just, but he didn't get his, he didn't, he didn't get it in time. They cut them off. They said it was too late.
Starting point is 01:45:54 You know, you don't get it in time. You're not getting your shit in. So I was like, you know what? That's, that's fair. That's fair. You know, he should meet Chet Hanks. I feel like they would get a long. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:46:05 That would be the, uh, Chet Hanks, Gucci white boy summer is way too much. That's, I actually. Marry a shirt among them. Here's the thing. I sold him. His shirt. Thing is,
Starting point is 01:46:20 LeBron James denotes a million donated $20. LeBron James donated, not one donated, not two donated, not three donated, not four donated, not five donated, not six donated seven. I'm going to temporarily mute it because there is a message at the end. I'm just going to see if I can time it all right, because this is absolutely more interesting what I'm saying than what that was saying. 76 donate 77 donated 78 and be gonna cry gonna miss you Jamalian oh thank you so so if you do too many of those it gets muted until the end because that's that's just that's nobody nobody can handle even if you're upron come on even if you're yeah but thank you though we used to we used to survive all them schlongs like john sina though
Starting point is 01:47:02 survive it and it was and then we had and that was the worst it was the worst you started cutting them though you started trimming those trimming the slongs down a little bit trim the shlong trim the shlong with uh with manscapes giving them all hootspah big of the witch is blood on the crown the same as mud on the helmet go ahead what that's the best part about that he'll wait all day he'll wait all day he's got it but but it was it was not only how great the line was it was the it was the fact of like at the end of it yeah but go ahead oh my god Go ahead. I just love the patience of this man.
Starting point is 01:47:47 Yeah. Like, I bet if we went back, we could see him trying to get that bit in. Yeah. And we just kept talking over it. And in his head, and in his head, he's wondering, he's like, will it still work if I do it now? He's like, it will. It will. Because people will remember them talking about the movies.
Starting point is 01:48:05 It'll still play out. And you can see him computing it. In his head, he's like, it'll actually probably be funnier because we haven't talked about it at all. And then I'll just throw in, go ahead. at the end. He's like, he's like doing like in a beautiful mind calculation. That's how he does it. It's like, it's like if you could go inside of Brett Sheridan's head, he's like he's like John Lovett's the critic and he's and he's sitting there working on his jokes the whole entire time. He was like, that's the one? And he goes, he delivers it. Then he goes back inside of his head.
Starting point is 01:48:32 And he's watching like the movie unfold in front of him. At the time you got serious that I didn't want to ruin Ian's promotion. So that's when I was like, I pulled back. I was like, no, it's a serious promotion of Ian. I love I don't want to ruin. And he would appreciate that joke. He absolutely would. And he probably absolutely bad. That's exactly what it is. I feel like we're going to go back and just watch Brett doing this.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Yeah. Well, you're still 43 away from 1,200. It's a little unclear if that was vetoed or not. I think we'll find out if we hit that goal, you guys. So 43, some lucky. I'll tell you what. I'll make it 1,500.
Starting point is 01:49:06 We'll make it 1,500. 8 minutes left, you guys. 8 minutes. You know, I've seen my fair share of miracles on this show. think this could be another one of them. So guys, please stream labs. Where is Keith Nelson? Robert Nielsen donates $400.
Starting point is 01:49:22 I really want to play in the Rocky match. Oh, good stuff. It'd be the most exciting thing with Rocky since Thunderlips. So guys, send it in. Give me some of Thunderlips' nicknames. To all my love. Oh, wait, his nicknames? Yep.
Starting point is 01:49:40 Well, I know he says to all my love sleeves out there. He does. To all my love's plays out there to see the ultimate thundelips, the ultimate male against the ultimate meatball. You see, y'all, y'all, y'all, like, I love me some Hulk, Holden, but bro, it was Mr. T all day. Hey, woman, we want to see what a real man look like coming to air, come down to buzz.
Starting point is 01:50:02 Mr. T. There's no argument that Mr. T steals that movie. But, but, but, but that movie made Hulkomania, what it is today. So, but yeah, that entire scene was, was just, was just nuts. It's like, why is he standing? Why, why, why they carrying
Starting point is 01:50:23 him? He's standing. It's such, it's, it's, it's the best. I watch, I actually watched the end of Rocky 2 the other day. They're all on HBO Max. Oh, hell yeah. I mean, I don't know if Creed and Creed 2 are, but, but the first six are on, on HBO Max. You guys haven't checked them out.

Starting point is 01:50:56 It was all the karaoke. So if you have any karaoke ideas, send them in. Again, we're kind of running low on time here. And I'm getting my final COVID vaccine right after this. Yes. Even those new friends on the new job tomorrow, can't wait. Ryan, you should do. Hey Jude is Waddo.
Starting point is 01:51:13 Hey Jude is Waddo. Well, I can tell you that that means, hey, monetization goes off. Yeah. I mean, he did some of criminal, bro. He did smooth criminal and he killed it. Well, yeah. And they all get, you all get chopped out of the show. We could just do it afterwards on stereo.
Starting point is 01:51:32 That's true. Yeah, we got a stereo. Yeah, we can't do stereo with friends. Even when we do the sound likes, even when we do the, just the instrumental on the karaoke. Yeah, but they nail you for it on YouTube for some reason. Oh, man. Yeah. Well, guys, forget the karaoke idea.
